It is a time of peace. With Lord Freeza’s explosive declaration, naming himself Emperor of the Universe after single-handedly obliterating the Covenant stronghold High Charity, peace has come to the universe. Not wanting to stand against him and his unstoppable Super Saiyans, within days of his declaration the universe bent the knee. And while there are always outliers, those stubborn or foolish enough to try and resist, the overwhelming majority of the universe is bending the knee. And he wouldn’t have achieved all this, defeated the strongest military in the universe and survived the Prophet’s ultimate weapon without your help.Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, the story of an alternate timeline in the greater Dragonball EU. Currently it is Age 749 and you the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power recognized actoss the universe. Now as a PTO general with a powerlevel of over 48 million, and close friend and confidant of Lord Freeza himself, Karn has become his people’s greatest champion.Character sheets and other info:https://pastebin.com/u/GrandDragonQMArchive:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=Saiyan+Conqueror+QuestQuest rules are as follows:>30 minute voting windows from post time>Pick ONE option when voting(unless otherwise noted)>Dice rolls are all best of first three, only correctly rolled dice pools will count>One roll post per person, unless at least ten minutes has passed since your last roll then you can roll again>Crits are 100 on a d100(a 99 or paired rolls may net you an extra bonus)>Crit fails -only- occur if no roll passes the DC, or if two different 1s are rolled which will OVERRIDE even a critical success, resulting in a catastrophic crit failure>Write-ins are both allowed and encouraged, but options too out of character will be shut down>Do NOT delete votes, instead simply link your change to your previous post as well as the vote post>I can change any of the above rules at any time for any or no reason>Have funSCQ will usually start every Saturday at noon Eastern Standard Time, and run throughout the weekend. >>4879017Last time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:A brawl broke out with the Time Patrol at Chilli and Megumin’s wedding. After the sudden apparent death of Karn’s father Tatsu he went on a rampage, slaughtering Trunks and the other Time Patrollers who showed up. Then Mechikabura himself entered the fray, after the appearance of a Demon God Demigra and the Supreme Kai of Time unleashed an army of herselves against Mechikabura’s army of Towa, and as the battle progressed the Towa Karn has children with drive one of the Time Kais towards him with her god-slaying spear while he was supposedly frozen in time. And with a single strike, Divine Dragon Force ended one of the Supreme Kais of Time. With this Karn displayed his might to all the powers that be, the Time Patrol and Mechikabura’s forces all left. After this Karn confronted Okira about her Stand, the two using their power to fix everything besides the people the battle had broken. And as we rejoin Karn, Okira’s Imagine Dragon just finished restoring the ceremony site.“Mmrrmmmm.” Okira mumbles as she curls up in a littl ball your arms. You hold your daughter close, and feel a yawn escape your own mouth as well. Using your Ascended Berserker on top of Towa’s Supervillain powerup has left your own energy completely wiped out. You feel that if you sit down and stay there for only a minute, you’d already be asleep. But before you can do any of that, you have things to do first. Walking back to your seat you find your suit coat, restored to pristine condition by Imagine Dragon’s ability. You grab the coat, reaching into the inner pockets and grabbing the gifts you’d discovered beneath New Salda for the happy couple. Wrapping them to your sides with your tail and holding the box Mechikabura gave to you for Chilli, you walk over to him. And as he sees you walking up, you notice his gaze suddenly gets really serious.“Here. Should have given these to you two earlier, looking back.” you say, holding Mechikabura’s present aloft telepathically while reaching into your pocket. With one hand you draw both from an inner pocket, neither activating. “But I didn’t think they’d get through your shield.”“Oh, right.” he says, raising his right hand and snapping his fingers. Beams of light begin piercing through the shadowy dome, the darkness vanishing after no more than a dozen seconds. “We don’t need it anymore I guess. So what’re these?”“Be careful.” you tell them, holding the magical-seeming weapons aloft with telekinesis and gently catching the box with your free hand. “They’re dangerous swords.”“Swords?” Megumin asks, grabbing one. And the azure blade immediately springs forth from the tip.cont
>>4879023“WOAH!!” she shouts, nearly dropping the weapon in surprise. She flails about with it a moment, forcing you to lean back to avoid getting your neck or head cut. “Oh, sorry!”“As I said, be careful.” you say with a chuckle, Chilli carefully taking his gifted weapon and examining it. Without fully gripping the weapon he doesn’t activate it, instead turning the ivory handle over in his hands. “Found these in a hidden room back in the ruins, guarded by a stone-armored corpse.”“Wait, a hidden room?” he asks, suddenly interested. “Hidden how?”“A stone armor zombie?! That sounds cool!” Megumin asks, eyes sparkling a bit. You explain everything: heading down into the ruins to find their gifts, phasing through the wall, encountering the knight, and his hammer destroying the ground and sending everything else that was in the room deeper into the planet.“Illusions made of light magic...” Chilli mutters, hand going to his chin as he ponders something. Probably figuring out how he could do such a thing himself. As he does you smile, reach out and ruffle his hair. This starts him a bit, but when he sees you the sudden tension in his body immediately vanishes. And is replaced by curiousity. “Dad?”“You’re a smart one, that brain of yours works faster than mine kiddo.” you tell him, seeing the sudden surprise on his face. “I’m real proud of you, Chilli.”Your son clearly doesn’t know how to respond, and after trying and failing to find the words for several seconds simply floats up a bit and hugs you around your neck. You return the hug, feeling his conflicting emotions through the touch. After at least twenty seconds his grip finally loosens up, you seeing his eyes are a little teary.“Oh, and this is for you too.” you tell him, remembering Mechikabura’s gift and handing it to him. “From Mechikabura, he wanted me to give this to you.”“Uhh, okay?” he replies, taking it. And the moment he touches it, his entire body freezes.“Chilli?” you ask, confused by his reaction. But he tucks it away inside his Crimson Demon robes, then reaches out telepathically.“It feels like a spellbook.” your son thinks to you. “I saw Raven’s she got from Aku, but it wasn’t anywhere this -heavy-. Going to study it later.”“Sounds good.” you say, smiling to him as her parents walk up. Excusing yourself you let them talk, looking around to decide where to go next.Well?>Go to Towa speaking with Freeza, this particular conversation could be interesting>Chaya and Raditz are talking to the brown-haired boy, wait is that Trunks’ sword he’s got?>Maza seemed to enjoy showing off that new form of his, go ask him about it>Just take a seat holding your snoozing daughter, you’ll manage to stay awake. So you start walking towards them, Caulifla following behind you curiously. As you approach, you see Freeza still maintaining his Golden form easily, while Towa’s already reverted back to her own base.“-lling me that he actually did it?” Freeza asks her. “He actually killed the Supreme Kai of Time?”“Yes, but actually no.” she answers as you walk up behind her. “His Stand erased -A- Time Kai, but with so many of her present it’s impossible to say which one. However, that will have-eep!”“Hey.” you say, right hand on her hip as you hug her to your right side.“Well now, look at you, godslayer.” Freeza says with a smirk. “Finally killed one of those meddling Time Kais, I hear.”“It was only with Towa’s help here.” you say, hugging her a bit closer to you for a moment. “I’m still not fast enough to keep up with beings stronger than your Golden form. But she backed one right up to me with her god-slaying spear. And before she knew it, I got her. Divine Dragon Force wiped her out.”“Ah yes, your Stand.” Freeza answers. “Father did take the Covenant’s dagger home for study, and to figure out how such a thing works. Once he understands how it works better, perhaps I shall get my own Stand and be able to fight her alongside you?”“Well if you do get one, I hope it’s as useful as mine.” you answer. Then you gesture to Koruza, he and his older sister Milha sleeping curled up on a bench together, and continue. “Or as powerful as Koruza’s. His Stand let him beat the older Chaya, and it wasn’t even a contest.”“It is a frightening thing, but he has gained control of it over the years.” Towa says, a warm smile on her face. “All the children have gotten much more powerful. And now that we have our defenses fully operational, you’ll be able to come back and start visiting us again.”“I’n looking forward to it.” you reply with a yawn. Towa giving you a kiss before walking herself over to the sleeping kids. Freeza turns back to you after a moment, an odd, unreadable expression on his face.“You really did it. You really killed that Kai.” he repeats, shaking his head in seeming disbelief. “To think. Now I see why you haven’t used your Stand against me. Doesn’t seem to be a power you can hold back with.”“Not in the slightest.” you say. “When Divine Dragon Force pierces an opponent, it turns their own ki against them, destroying them completely. Once the process starts it’s over, even undoing my attack by rewinding time couldn’t stop it and save her. Once that attack lands, its over.”“Well that’s absolutely broken.” comes a voice from behind you.cont
>>4879188Turning you see Kazuma, followed only by Yunyun while the rest of his team isn’t anywhere nearby.“It’s no Za Warudo, but ending a fight in one shot is still good.” he continues, looking back and forth between you and Freeza’s questioning gaze. “...What?”“Oh? You seem to be rather knowledgeable about these matters.” Freeza says, taking a couple steps up to be even with you. “So, what is your Stand?”“Well, L-Lord Freeza, I actually don’t have a Stand myself.” he replies, suddenly and very clearly nervous coming face-to-face with Freeza. “But I know a good bit about them. And other things which I’m certain you’ll want to know about. Which is why I’m here, Lord Freeza. I’m here to offer up my services and more importantly knowledge to your cause.”“Oh hoho? It would seem my reputation precedes me even here, to beings clearly not of the Crimson Demon clan.” Freeza replies, focused on the young man before him. “So tell me, what is your name?”“My name is Satou Kazuma.” he replies, you noticing he collected Trunks’ sword and now has it on his back. “And I know the secret for obtaining what you desire most.”“Ohh? Many have made such a claim over the years.” Freeza answers, suddenly intense. “But do you? Do you truly?”“I know the secret of how to make you immortal!” the boy shouts, surprising you, Freeza, and even his companion. Immortality? Really? Could this inconspicuous man know such a thing? He was clearly able to grab Trunks’ sword during the battle, so there is more to him than you’d first though. But, you do know that he’ll be back for his sword, right? This isn’t the first time the General here has personally ended that boy’s life.”“Wait, really?” Kazuma asks, suddenly looking to you differently. “This wasn’t the first time?”“Last time was years ago. Not only do I know how, but more importantly, where.” Kazuma replies, seemingly much more certain of himself. “And I can help you avoid the traps that would lead to you losing your shot at getting it, too.”“You think there exists a trap that can stop me?” Freeza replies, the man seemingly shrinking at Freeza’s question. “Do you doubt my power? Should I give you a demonstration then?”“That’s exactly the trap I meant!” Kazuma says, almost cowering but doing his best to appear unafraid in Freeza’s presence. “Killing the wrong people would make the Dragonballs not work, and then you’d lose your chance forever!”“I see. A clever defense mechanism for a powerful being, doubtlessly made by a planet’s Guardian to ensure their own survival.” Freeza says, pondering as the young man sighs heavily in relief. Then snaps back up to attention as Freeza continues. “However, you said people. Which implies that there is more than one set of these mystical orbs. So, tell me. Where are these planets with the ability to make such wonderful objects, these Dragonballs?”“I don’t know.” he says, you seeing the surprisingly hopeful expression on Freeza’s face drop. Kazuma coearlt sees this too, and scrambles. “Without a map of the stars and their planets, and names too if they’re available, I won’t be able to find either planet. But if I can see a map of the known universe, I can get us moving in the right directions to fulfill your wish.”“Wish indeed.” Freeza says, and from his tone you think he’s not fully convinced. Now, as for you.”As Freeza says this and returns his gaze to Kazuma, you see the man physically resist flinching at the Emperor’s gaze.“I know why you hold much of your information back, and what you’re hoping to gain.” Freeza says, glaring at Kazuma. “Your attempts to worm your way into my good graces instead of actively saying what you’re offering and want in return is...annoying. If you don’t beat the Demon King, how am I supposed to get back home?! You’ve done nothing but hold me back since you sent me to this forsaken place! If I could have traded you back in for a special power, I would have done it ages ago!”Silence hangs over the immediate area, everyone within earshot having stopped to see what’s going on. Neither of them notice, the young man still fuming while the woman trembles, eyes watering.“Th-That wasn’t very-“ Yunyun starts, but before she even finishes her sentence the blue haired woman shouts, lunging at him.“KAAAAAZUUUUUMAAAAA??!!” she shouts, almost tackling him over and clinging to him, bawling like a young child. But I think you can tell which path is better.”“Primal is a powerful transformation, and you certainly wear it well Maza.” you say, surprising both sons as they immediately turn to face you. “Maza here’s a great example, along with your older sister Chaya of what it can do. If you want to go down a well-traveled path, you’ll have plenty of company.”“What other path is there?” Maza asks with a bit of a scoff. “Becoming one of those useless gods?”“Turns out that those of us with the power of a Berserker actually can’t become a Super Saiyan God.” you tell him, to both Maza and Broly’s clear surprise. “Instead, according to Mechikabura, we’ll get something different. But enough about the future. I didn’t get to say it earlier, but well done son. I hadn’t expected you to have attained this form already.”“I’ve been working hard, at least twelve hours a day for years now focusing exclusively on my own training.” he says, holding his arms out by his sides. “And the results speak for themselves.”“You have gotten a lot stronger than me. At least for now.” Broly answers good naturedly, his nonchalance clearly irking Maza. “Even if I had been focusing on raw power as much as you have, you’d still be leagues ahead of me.”“Even if- You mean you haven’t been focused on getting stronger?” Maza asks, shocked. “Why?!”“I’ve been focused on other, more necessary training because of my power.” Broly answers levelly, not rising to Maza’s clear anger. Which is another aspect of the form you aren’t sure he’s aware of yet. “What good is power, if I cannot control it and hurt someone I care about? Or even worse, hurt my family?”“Then they shouldn’t be in the way.” Maza says with a bit of heat, surprising you. “Might makes right, and the strongest makes the rules for others to live by! The weak die and the strong survive!”cont
>>4879952What he’s saying sounds a lot like your own philosophy, but it just isn’t right. His why is especially wrong, you don’t make yourself stronger to rule. You do it to protect what’s important, and so others cannot decide your fate for you. Yoy don’t build yourself up and make rules solely to lord and rule over others. But as physically and mentally exhausted as you are, could you manage explaining the difference to him without butchering it, or worse?Well?>Try and explain it to him despite your exhaustion, and hope you don’t fumble your words too badly>Tell him that his philosophy is wrong, and that the next time you see him you’ll take the time to explain why>Don’t try and tell him now, there will be plenty of time when he’s not still riding the high of the battle and his new form when you go to visit. >Other?(write in?)

>>4879952Haaaah, Towa, we REALLY need to chat about that superiority complex you put in our kids, we need to help Maza mellow out a little.>“I’ve been focused on other, more necessary training because of my power.” Broly answers levelly, not rising to Maza’s clear anger. Which is another aspect of the form you aren’t sure he’s aware of yet. “What good is power, if I cannot control it and hurt someone I care about? Or even worse, hurt my family?”THAT'S OUR SON!>“Then they shouldn’t be in the way.” Maza says with a bit of heat, surprising you. “Might makes right, and the strongest makes the rules for others to live by! The weak die and the strong survive!”Oh...oooh son, I want to be disappointed, but we weren't in your life enough like we should have been.>>4879958>"Maza...if might made right, and solely based on might, then the Supreme Kai of Time would be the be all and end all, and that is not true either. That Philosophy is incomplete.">"To gain power solely to obtain more power fails all that follow that creed eventually.">"I gained my power to fight so you can come home, and play in the son with the rest of your family, so your mother never has to hide away with your siblings out of fear. And even then you have clearly demonstrated that you are stronger than me.">"That simple idea, while on the surface correct, is not enough, by it's nature it could never be enough, there is always, ALWAYS, someone stronger, and it is to be truly strong to stand up again, and again, and again, as many times as it takes till you win.">"It's what is in the back of my mind every time I train, to protect those I care about, being forced into suffering for no reason by the so called strongest that would force any and every whim upon them.">"No matter the hell I go through, it is because you, all of you are worth that effort."
>>4879958>>Don’t try and tell him now, there will be plenty of time when he’s not still riding the high of the battle and his new form when you go to visit.Actually changing to this. We're exhausted, Maza's naturally arrogant, and with Primal stacked on top and the battle high still running, he's not in a good place to listen. Better to let it pass for now, and adress him later, when we can speak properly, and he hasn't had time to stew that we told him he's wrong and let his pride build up.
>>4879958>Broly is right to want control. Our mutation gives us overwhelming rage that can cause us to lose ourselves, Maza. If we don't keep it on a tight reign, we'd become no better than rampaging beasts without a single rational thought, only capable of mindless destruction. Strength is always important, but not if you're too full or rage to point it where it needs to go. It's easy to beat someone who can't control their emotions, and even easier to beat someone that loses themselves entirely to them.
>>4879958I want to combine these two>>4879998>>4880003
Guys come on, Karn is a little minute from passing the fuck out, this isn't the time for him to be giving detailed life philosophy lessons. And Maza is naturally Arrogant, has Primal stacked on top of it, and is still running a battle high. He's NOT in a place to listen to us right now, and even less for us to try and explain things to him then pass out before we finish.Mazas not gunna magically get worse before we visit the family again and we can talk some sense into his head then.
>>4880018I typed all that out and I don't know if I can do it again in time to chat with our sons.
>>4880018My thoughts exactly. We'll visit Maza again soon enough and just telling him he's wrong might actually get him to do some introspection in the meantime.Let's not do this while Karn is running on fumes.
I want to reinforce that I didn’t give a prompt for what to tell him. You ALREADY KNOW THAT. The question is if you should try explaining it to him when you’re exhausted and -still- dealing with the concussion Vegito gave you
>>4879958>Ask him why we're still here than if that was all that mattered. The Supreme Kai was doubtlessly stronger, why should we even struggle as we have to resist her thus far under his philosophy. He should dwell on that till next we see him
>>4880025Oh...I feel my effort was wasted now...>>4879958>Tell him that his philosophy is wrong, and that the next time you see him you’ll take the time to explain why
>>4880018yeah, this desu. Passing out now mid monologue about how personal strength isn't everything isn't gonna help our point much
>>4880025I definitely don't think we should, and I forgot about the concussion, and was focused on the exhaustion. Yeah nobody is ready for this talk right now.
>>4880025>dealing with the concussion Vegito gave youOH SHIT THAT'S WHY WE'VE BEEN DOING DOUBLE ROLLS.Yeah passing out is a real concern here.It would be a bit of a bummer if Karn died in his sleep after all.Let's try and power through this until we can get back to our doctor.
>>4879958>>Don’t try and tell him now, there will be plenty of time when he’s not still riding the high of the battle and his new form when you go to visit.Let's wait to present our argument sometime when there's less of a chance for us to include vomiting and passing out in it. I don't think telling him we won't explain now is the best, since that might just piss him off and make him less likely to listen to what we try to say later.
>>4879958>>>Don’t try and tell him now, there will be plenty of time when he’s not still riding the high of the battle and his new form when you go to visit.

>>4880122I can unfortunately see it.
>>4879958“Is that what your mother has been teaching you?” you ask him, shaking your head a bit. You’re not upset with your son, just a bit disappointed. You should have been there more for him. And you would have, if it wasn’t for that bitch of a Kai. “Once everything’s settled down, we need to talk son. There’s so much more to life tha-GAAH?!”Suddenly everything is pain, blindingly hot pain flaring up inside your head as if when you shook your head, you shook something loose. Staggering back you clutch your head with your free hand, trying to find your balance as suddenly the whole world feels like it’s spinning. Your vision goes all blurry, the image of your sons distorting into an incomprehensible mess. Something’s wrong, something’s really really wrong.“Get. Cauli.” you say through gritted teeth, knowing if anything can help you right now it’s your daughter’s Triumph. Your vision starts going black, tunneling down as you realize you’re about to pass out. You feel your body falling forward, and are ready to embrace sleep when suddenly you remember Okira! Your daughter is sleeping peacefully in your arm, you can’t crush her! So with the last of your strength you twist, aiming your back towards the ground instead of your daughter. Yet before you can even hit the ground, the darkness has taken you. You blink several times, once more finding yourself floating in the void. You just close your eyes again, enjoying the sensation of weightlessly floating when someone surprisingly speaks!“Looks like those two Saiyans did more damage than you thought.” Mechikabura says, your eyes snapping open as you turn to face the elder demon god. He seems as relaxed as ever, yet from where you are floating is just outside Divine Dragon Force’s range. You aren’t sure if that is intentional or not, but the moment you realize this he smirks. “Of course I am. Just because I have taken precautions against the two of you, doesn’t mean that I’m so eager to test them.”“Thanks for the help earlier.” you say, the old demon smiling a bit smugly yet waving your thanks off.“You’re the one who did most of the work.” he replies, then addresses Divine Dragon Force directly. “Both of you.”“I wasn’t sure my abilities could stop one with control over time.” Divine Dragon Force answers him honestly. “Not after last time.”“Lyin Eyes Requiem.” Mechikabura says, snorting a small bit at your shock. “I knew of Truth’s Stand. It was one I had considered using against her, myself. But it’s power is too limited. It cannot measure up to those who can control time and space, like yourself. After all, that wasn’t the first time you’ve defeated that particular Stand.”cont
>>4880235“What?” you ask, looking between Divine Dragon Force and Mechikabura. “You really fought it before? How? When?”“I do not remember such a battle.” your Stand says, not taking it’s eyes off the demon god. “Yet...Something in your words speaks true to me. I feel you know more of me than even I myself do, and there is much more you aren’t saying.”“You are correct.” Mechikabura answers, expression turning a bit more serious. “And there is good reason for that silence. I do it not to hide you from yourself, but to protect the both of you. I wasn’t certain of it until today, but now I know for sure. Isn’t that right, Dumplin?”“Wait what?!” you shout, turning and following Mechikabura’s gaze to see that, sure enough, the other demon god Dumplin is here too. What the actual hell is going on? “You’re-! But you, you two were fighting earlier! What’s going on here?”“There’s a lot going on that you don’t know about, kid.” Dumplin says, expressionless eyes gazing intensely at you. “But there’s no doubt about it. You’re the real deal.”“Once you’re strong enough to stand on your own, we shall reveal more to you.” Mechikabura says, waving a hand and cracking the void around you three. “Until then, master your strength. Become the force of destruction you were meant to be.”And then the dream ends. Your eyes open to find yourself in an unfamiliar bed, in an unfamiliar room. But as you think this, you realize it isn’t a bed. But the floor. Looking around you see Meloka beside you, Caulifla between you. Okira is still sleeping on your chest, Maz and Kayle both lying on your left arm while Tatsu and Tomi are beside Meloka Several thin, patched blankets cover each of you, and you feel a pillow behind your head. In fact you aren’t wearing your suit coat either, seeing it hanging on the back of a chair Someone clearly took good care of you while you were out, and judging from the familiar broken sword lying in the corner by the chair, realize you must be in Megumin’s folks’ place. >>4880304He kinda did, he gave us DF at least.
>>4880238With your family around you, sleeping soundly you feel mostly at peace. However, there are three noticeable missing. Chilli being gone is understandable, no doubt spending his wedding night with his new wife Megumin. But other than him, both Broly and Chaya also aren’t anywhere to be seen. Feeling a moment’s worry, you expand your ki senses and search for the three of them. Broly’s ki is the first you sense, and judging from the distance is quite possibly at the mountains where the corpse army came from. Wierd. But even further out, not even on the planet you sense Chilli.Strange for his energy signature to not be anywhere on the planet itself, but perhaps there’s a good reason for that. And Chaya’s energy simply isn’t anywhere, you can’t feel her ki even well beyond Megumin’s homeworld. Perhaps she went back to her Dreadzone? But first thing’s first, reaching out telepathically and thinking to your oldest born son.“Hey kiddo, sleep good?” you think to him, but don’t get a response. You can sense his energy fine, but him not answering and being clearly off-world is worrying. You focus your energy to teleport to him, but as you do sense the other energy there with him. Ah. No wonder the newlywed couple are still asleep, Freeza probably gifted them a similar pod to the one you and Meloka shared on your own wedding night. Best leave them to it. Switching your focus, you turn your attention to Broly, and reach out to him. “Everything okay son?”“Yeah, I’m fine.” he replies instantly. “What about you, are you okay? Dropping like that, about scared me and Maza to death!”“Sorry about that.” you apologize. “Hadn’t realized how down bad I was after that gusion guy Vegito got ahold of me. Should’a listened to Chilli, and stayed back a little longer for them to soften him up.”“He’s probably gonna say ‘I told you so’ when he gets back.” Broly answers, his smile coming through the psychic link. “Have you talked to him yet?”“No, your brother’s still asleep.” you reply. “Gonna check on Chaya now.”“Good luck. After Caulifla checked you out, and used some of her gold healing magic that I can actually see to fix you, we all laid you down there at Megumin’s place.” he continues. “That was pretty much the end of the party. Chaya and Raditz left after that, figured it was something Dreadzone related and didn’t ask.”“What about Towa, and your half-siblings?” you ask him. “Did they leave too?”“They left right after Caulifla gave you the all clear.” he answers. “Once we’re back home, she’s invited us all to check out their new place.”“Sounds like a plan. And good for you, sticking to your training.” you tell him, ending the link and switching your focus to Chaya. “Hey kiddo. You up?”cont
>>4880349“Hey, you’re okay!” she replies. “Was worried about you. What happened? Why’d you just drop like that?”“Apparently I got rocked harder than I thought.” you tell her. “Where’d you go?”“Oh, me and Raditz took the cameras back to Dreadzone, and I had a fight today.” she replies. “Wasn’t much of a fight, didn’t even go into my final form.”“Most things out there aren’t really a challenge for you, at this level.” you reply. “Maybe you could hop back home more often, and fight opponents at your own level. At least keep you sharp.”“I had completely forgot about that!” she replies as if suddenly receiving a revelation. “That sounds like a great idea. Wonder if- Oh, hey I gotta go. Talk more later okay?”“Of course, have fun kiddo.” you reply, Chaya ending the link as you sigh out. At least they’re all safe, from the sounds of it you took the worst of yesterday’s brawl on your side. But why are Mechikabura and Dumplin working together? >>4880354Focusing on the massive ki just outside, it only takes you a moment to understand who’s it is. Recognizing Freeza’s ki you immediately relax, sighing in relief before reaching out to him telepathically.“Good morning, Freeza.” you think to him. “Did I miss anything interesting yesterday?”“Good to see your sense of humor survived intact.” Freeza retorts. “And no. Once you were confirmed okay but still not waking up, that ended the celebratory mood for the villagers and everyone started heading home.”“That’s a damn shame.” you answer, stomach then growling furiously at you. You haven’t eaten since breakfast yesterday, and can clearly feel it. “I need to find something to eat. What about yourself?”“Oh no, I’m fine myself.” he replies. “Should I find someone awake to begin preparing-?”“No no, it’s all fine.” you say, using your telekinesis to begin gently lifting children up off of you. “I’m just going to head out and find me something. First time I was here, there were some rather good bears in the forests. Perhaps I’ll hunt down one or two of them.”Once free of your sleeping family members you carefully place them all back down where you’d been. Fortunately your escape doesn’t wake any of them, you floating over to your shoes and grabbing them before placing the first two fingers of your right hand to your forehead. And a second later teleport, not opening the possibly-loud door.“Wanna come with?” you ask him, still telepathically as you lower your hand. “Plenty of game on a planet like this.”“Thanks for the offer, but no.” he replies, Golden form reflecting the little predawn light there is. “I know my instincts don’t seem to be nearly as sharp as your own, but I have a feeling I’m needed here this morning. So I’ll stay here, just in case.”“I appreciate it. I’ll bring back enough hopefully for everyone.” you say, floating over to the main door and go through, closing it behind you. Now outside you take a deep breath of the predawn air, the first hints of sunlight already peaking over the ridges. Soon enough the sun will rise on another day. But what about you? >>4880819You decide to head up further north, towards those snow-covered peaks and see what sorts of beings are up around there to eat. Frozen terrains usually have the largest, furriers beasts, bulky creatures built to survive the lack of warmth. Lifting up off the ground you blast off, leaving the village behind. The flight over those distant peaks lasts only a few seconds, clearing the mountaintops to see the land beyond. It looks like a frozen tundra, the plane of white sporadically broken by the chill blue of icy waters. But there is one bright spot of red that draws your eye, seeing a large, four-legged beast with massive tusks laying on it’s side. The creature’s guts are spilled out onto the ice, several smaller beasts tearing away at it. Perhaps they’ll do?Dropping down silently from the sky, something suddenly spooks the wolf like creatures. They all spin around, you hearing their rumbling growls even from a few dozen feet above them.CRACKSomething smashes into the ice from below, giant cracks spreading out several dozen yards around the wolves and their prey. This spooks them, the pack taking off at a full sprint from their kill. What the hell? Then the ice shatters, chunks exploding up into the air as a massive ursine creature surfaces. One after another, a dozen or so white-furred bears rise out of the water. The three largest of them are each the size of the entire wolf pack, and will make a much better meal. You continue dropping down from the sky, landing between the creatures and their stolen meal.“GRRRROOOOAAAAAARR!!” the largest beast bellows, rising up on it’s back legs. Now you’re a big guy, but this beast is easily two if not three times your own height. No doubt such a beast thinks itself king, as you focus your ki sense feel it wields power far greater than anything else for miles and miles. Your emerald energy pierces right though the beast’s head, the azure vanishing from the beast’s claws as it’s ki signature disappears, body falling backward. It crashes down to the ice with a thud, the other beasts all staring at it confused. The smoking hole between it’s eyes burns, the others recoiling at the smell. The two largest beasts remaining both roar as well, a sound full of bestial rage as their claws begin glowing as well, then they charge. They don’t bother trying to show off their size, intimidating you into running and instead simply bear rush you.“Easy enough.” you say, turning your right hand to the one rushing from your left. And again you fire your Death Beam, the attack ending the smaller of the two creatures. It dies immediately as well, but as you turn the final bear leaps! “What?”“GWWRRROOOOAAAAAARRR!!” it bellows, dropping down on you claws-first. Both powerful paws slam into your chest, magically-enhanced blades slicing right through your wedding suit’s undershirt.“Dammit!!” you snarl, the force of it’s drop knocking you down onto your back. As your back hits the ground you retaliate, planting both feet into the beast’s chest and launch it skyward. Flipping backwards and landing back on your feet, you re-raise your arm and fire another Death Beam. As the monster drops your beam pierces through it’s face, cutting through half it’s face as the monster falls. That one crashes down, cracking the ice a bit where it fell but not smashing through. You turn your gaze on the rest of the ursine creatures, who all immediately run away from you. They all dive back into the water, you feeling their kis rapidly retreating from you and their fallen compatriots. “That’s right, run. Anyways.”Turning your focus from the more cowardly beasts to your kills, you prepare to dress them down. Drawing a small ki blade you slash each of their guts open, organs spilling out onto the frozen ground in puddles of steam. You then lift them all the carcasses with your telekinesis, leaving the guts behind as you fly them all from the frozen wasteland back towards the village. As you cross away from the frozen biome back across the mountains, blood dripping from your chest, you make your way back to the outskirts of the village. Dropping down at the site of the wedding you set each one of the beast’s atop a different crystal table, and blast each one with your ki. Energy bursts into each seperate corpse, setting them all aflame. The three ursine beasts’ fur begins burning off, cooking their meat for you and your family’s consumption.cont

On the edge of your senses you feel something, something surprisingly powerful. “Something’s coming.”“I don’t sense anything.” he replies, but you can feel his slight unease. “But we’ll be there as soon as we can.”Freeza ends the mental link, you turning towards the north where the strange powerlevel is coming from. It doesn’t feel quite like anything you’ve ever felt before, and far stronger than anything else you’ve faced on this world. So what in the hell could it be? You track the powerlevel as it approaches, then as it crests the last mountains you see a terrifyingly awesome sight. It’s a massive, pale-white dragon with a wingspan as wide as your old ship!“GRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!” it roars, firing a blast of what looks like some sort of white energy in front of it.“ATTENTION!! Ancient-class White Dragon sighted, approaching the village from the north!” the automated-sounding alarm voice rings. “All Crimson Demons, prepare for immediate battle! I repeat, all Crimson Demons, report for immediate battle!”As you watch the dragon turns towards you and the large charred corpses, flying right towards you. Seems it must have smelled your prey as you hauled them back from the village, and wants it. But that bastard’s about to learn why you don’t fuck with-“RRRRRROOOOOOAAAAAARRR!!” it bellows again, white energy once more blasting forth. But with this roar it isn’t a show, transforming into a powerful blizzard that engulfs and blinds you and the entire village! Focusing as the temperature around you drops, you flare your emerald aura up to shield you from the worst of the biting cold. Even still the blood running down your chest freezes to you, frost forming along your body as it’s magical blizzard continues for several seconds. When it finally ends, allowing you to see again, the entire village is covered in several feet of snow! Despite your aura shielding you from the worst of it, the snowdrifts nearby are almost up to your shoulders. This creature is dangerous. Leaping up out of the snow, the dragon’s gaze immediately focuses solely on you. This thing may have frozen your breakfast, but as your stomach grumbles you know what’s going to replace it. >>4881487And that’s it for this weekend, enjoy the thread so far? Are you ready to fight an honest to goodness dragon? Curious what other sorts of magic it knows, and how powerful it really is? Tune in next weekend, for the continuation of this episode of Saiyan Conqueror Quest!

>>4881583You may. If you don’t destroy the body completely>>4881589Ha, but no.>>4881609Those materials are highly valuable on this world, but aren’t a quality material for armor at PTO levels. They may have fun with it for a time, but it’s not the best armor
>>4881630>Those materials are highly valuable on this worldRight, we should probably stick to the planet where people might actually know how to work this shit into something usable.Regardless, a dragon scale cloak does sound badass right?
>>4881671It very much does, yeah, and the Bones could make cool armor, too, or a Badass weapon.
>>4881671Especially since White Dragons are so rare. Not many can survive the journey north, batting the monster and winning, and survive carrying back a lot of it. This would greatly fuel Hyoizaburoo’s shop, or could be taken to greater population centers for perhaps more valuable magical trades.Cloaks and capes are generally a bad idea. They may look cool, but some attacks that would pierce them wouldn’t even affect you. Would only be a vanity piece for you at this point.>>4881692Maybe for the magically-attuned

>>4881814What about project scyther? Is it noncompatable or just a suicidally bad idea?
Guys, dragons cast a lot of magic, right? So clearly they must also be resistant to other magic in some way, otherwise any other dragon would probably one shot them in a territory battle. As such, we should see if our boy might be able to make any magic resistance gear, for his own benefit (and the rest of the family if they choose to share) from it.

>>4881499>Are you ready to fight an honest to goodness dragon? Can't wait.>Curious what other sorts of magic it knows, and how powerful it really is?Sure. By the way I was watching Godzilla vs. Kong recently and they said there that Ghidorah's three heads used telepathy to communicate between each other. Normally when you hear something from Ghidorah it is "ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR". But if you had telepathy maybe you could try talking with it. Karn has telepathy. This made me wonder maybe we could talk to that white dragon? While it may not speak language that we know, it's not a problem for telepathy. I'm curious if this white one is closer to a wild animal or maybe it has that some of that intellect that Bolas has.

>>4882792Alright point taken, it would be dangerous.Still, even if they don't use it for Saibamen, I'd love to see what they could use it for anyways.Even if they eventually try to make the perfect life-form like all mad scientists do.Still, it would be interesting to see what they cook up given all the genetic sources at their disposal. >>4881972>>4881969>>4882941Good idea, but also quite dangerous. Then again we can't find any threats for the kids to train. Therefore maybe we can make them ourselves. Best if we can grow them like Saibamen quick and in large numbers whenever needed. So Saiyan population will have something to fight in a real life and death scenario. So that our kids and the rest of Saiyan population does not forget what it's like to fight. We don't want them to turn soft. We already saw how shockingly low skilled in fighting was Super Saiyan 4 Karn Jr despite his massive strength in that "What if epilogue with Janemba". Divide them (those improved Saibamen or something) into tiers.>"Basic" genetically improved Saiba men for those that are bellow 100K>Some "with better genetic modifications" Saibamen for stronger warriors>Some super lethal Saibamen for the elites to train withYou get the idea. Even Chaya can't find any challenge at Dreadzone most of the time. Imagine planting 100 really powerful genetically improved Saibamen (strong enough to kill students) vs 10 of our students. It would be a real challenge and real learning.Maybe even we can get some challenge from those strongest creations that scientists will possibly make. This is risky, but... it can pay off too.
>>4882117>>IMAGINEOr maybe something like this.
>>4883208>We already saw how shockingly low skilled in fightingIt's not that he was a unskilled or weak. It's more that lacked the inclination to stop fucking around and end things quickly and definitively. This kinda reminded me of the concept of Violence of Action. What that refers to is "the unrestricted use of speed, strength, surprise, and aggression to achieve total dominance against your enemy".Karn Jr. was clearly better than those Wookies in every metric, save for one of the most important factors in a fight to the death. It just didn't occur to him that instead of just defending himself from his attackers, he should end them quickly and definitively.Lacking that immediate usage of lethal force could get him killed, so it is still a serious problem. It just so happens that it's almost impossible to avoid given the era he's gonna grow up in.Now, obviously there are ways to fix that, but how we go about that is another thing entirely.
>>4883217I saw that and thought Mega Charzard, and I thought, so be it.
>>4883224We need Dragons, more dragons, and maybe a Guardivor.
>>4883229While I enjoy the idea of Draconic Saibamen and shit, that's secondary to my actual concern now.We need to foster some type of environment or training that our kids, or any Saiyan really, can take part in that emulates the conditions Karn's generation grew up fighting in.Anything to instill the harsh lessons that the next generation is at risk of never learning. You fight to survive, first and foremost. You don't fuck around.

Leave planet fine and as it is, a home worth fighting for. Instead let's find some different planet and use help of scientists to turn it into a real death world. Filled with dangerous creatures, a playground and test ground for those genetically engineered super Saibamen and other things. This place would be truly dangerous and a good place for new Saiyans to train. Another good thing about this is that if something went really wrong there, the problem would be contained in a single planet. Then Karn and family and friends come and destroy the problem and scientists can repopulate the death world where Saiyans can fight and learn to survive in harsh conditions.

I figure any planet with high gravity and no civilization would work great.>watching your spawn of the future generation training and comparing it to your own may give Karn second thoughts about how he’s been raising themIndeed. For as comprehensive as our training programs have been (far more than any previous era's) we're still missing the vital ingredients that make the kind of warrior that held the line during the Siege of New Salda or took Sanghelios during the Covenant Campaign.Sure, those soldiers still exist, but it's only a matter of time before they die off and get replaced by the next generation. It's imperative that we instill these harsh lessons into them so they have the best chance of surviving into the future.
>>4883545If there was a hypothetical timeline where the saiyans all died as usual, except Karn survived with Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta as a member of their 'team'...How would things shake out on Earth in that timeline? I like to think he'd arrive on Earth either with Raditz, willing to help him find his brother and such, or between Raditz's arrival and Vegeta/Nappa's as an in-between fight.I wonder how he'd mesh with the canon cast's personality at that point in time...and if they'd stand a ghost of a chance with whatever his PL would be at that time. If we're generous, we can estimate it to be whatever it was at the very start with some off assumption that he never took the more challenging missions for whatever reasons.
>>4883596Looked it up.>2830Yeah, he'd be a perfect in-between fight for when Goku is dead and the rest of the Z Fighters have to step the fuck up to deal with him.
>>4883596As it stands, I imagine Karn tagging along with Nappa and Vegeta would make things a completely one-sided shit stomping in favor of the Saiyans. And I mean one that even Goku's bullshit gains couldn't surmount. At that point we could just give Goku the ultimatum of "join or die", which he might just take in the hopes that he could get strong enough to win his planet's freedom back.
>>4883601Slightly off the mark there. It would be 2,830 plus 28 years of fighting and training alongside his squad. With his "canon" gains, I'd put Karn's power level somewhere around the 20,000 to 25,000 mark, with Raditz flying at 15k, Nappa around 35k, and Vegeta at a clean 60K.Strong enough to be almost invincible on Earth, but still weak enough to justify being subservient to Frieza.
>>4883574Exactly. Don’t forget you’re basically the number two now of a nearly Universe-spanning empire. Basically you ask for anything from Freeza within reason, it’s yours. And ensuring the next generations don’t lose the bloody lessons your generation learned will be tantamount. There are still less than one million living Saiyans.>>4883596Karn being chosen for Vegeta’s team? Well, at the time of potentially being selected he’d already unlocked False Super Saiyan, so no canon team would stand a chance. Taking that out and limiting him to only be as strong as Nappa, those two would have been more than enough to completely eliminate the earthling team and raze the planet long before Goku arrived. So no save for Goku from Gohan, Krillin, and Yajirobe. GG no re, dead under monkey feet.Or if Karn showed up between Raditz and Vegeta, and only as strong as Nappa with no Saibamen, team Earth wouldn’t stand a chance. Those casualties would spell the end for the rest of them with Vegeta’s arrival.
>>4883764Honestly, the between-raditz-and-vegeta scenario would be the most interesting to me.I could see him showing up, killing some of them, but either eventually being convinced to stop slaughtering them with a heartfelt enough plea (he's a genocidal soldier, but he's certainly not heartless)...or getting got by the Mafuba since he's there alone. Roshi certainly knows it, but a lot of people forget that Tien does too.And (some) of the z-fighters could be brought back with Goku if the wish was worded just right.
>>4883869I mean if Karn showed up after they offed Raditz the Z-fighters would have been ultra fucked. Half of them would be killed instantly and the only thing that would stop him would be hearing that if Piccolo or Kami went then the magic balls would stop working. So pretty much only those two would survive. Raditz, Nappa and Geets fuck around a lot. Karn has no chill.
>>4883869>he's a genocidal soldier, but he's certainly not heartlessIt’s still Karn, who eouldn’t show mercy to a peoples who killed one of the last surviving members of his race.>MafubaThe most dangerous technique on that Earth still. And don’t forget, there are still TWO old students of Mutaito who could know it, and then anyone they taught.>And (some) of the z-fighters could be brought back with Goku if the wish was worded just right.Oh yeah, “Bring back everyone killed by the Saiyan’s in the last year.” would save farmer too.>>4884005A valid point. Especially AFTER Raditz fucked around and found out.
>>4884014>Farmer gets brought back with the othersAlright, now that's a gamechanger. >There are still TWO old students of Mutaito who could know it, and then anyone they taught.Yeah, that's fair. My best guess for why Tien/Chiaotsu didn't try it is that with two enemies present, the odds of one freeing the other would have been too high, and...for whatever reason they just fucked off and didn't exist when Raditz was being a bitch.Doesn't at all explain why they didn't do shit with it against Cell though. Tien even got a fucking sneak attack on cell to hold him off, and his choice was to spam neo tribeam instead? What the fuck dude.Anyways, that rant aside, the Karnjar™ would definitely end up being opened again later in a non-canon movie somehow set post saiyan-invasion pre-namek. Maybe as a sequel to Tree of Might.
>>4884039>tfw movie jarkarn never went super saiyan but instead did nothing but meditate and train himself by punching himself in the face and screaming to flex his muscles really hard>its been nearly a decade>comes out of the jar and everyone's blowing him off because there are a bunch of super saiyans around and everyone got stronger>karn immediately murders roshi, tien, and chiaotzu>super stronk as fuck to their shock>finally starts getting worn down by numbers and super saiyan bullshit>vegeta gloats about raditz and nappa being weaklings that would never amount to a super saiyan's power, and neither could karn>goku lets slip geets offed nappa>karn's absolute fury at one of the last of their species being betrayed by their prince makes him go super saiyanHow much oof can you pack into one movie, you think?
>>4884097I’ll do you one better for this decades-later film.>Every hour of his imprisonment makes his resentment and anger grow.>Countless days suffering the indignity of this imprisonment.>Months on end of not being able to avenge his fallen comrade, and someone he may have seen as an adoptive son at that point given his inclination.>Years spent knowing he wasn’t there for the rest of his comrades when they’d come later this year, and his continued imprisonment leads him to conclude they too failed.>Comes out pissed as fuck and murdering the shit out of everyone who knows the technique that sealed him.>PL keeps rising as his Wrath starts to overtake him, and years of simmering in anger makes the rampup swift and his energy control is insane>Beat Piccolo into the ground brutally enough to cripple him for at least a few hours even with regeneration, breaking a few mountains in the process.>Gohan stepped in to try to stop the beatdown, but he just got an asskicking too because of the rampup.>Partially comes out of Wrath when meeting Goku, since he looks just like his old comrades Turles and Bardock.>Goku starts winning, until Vegeta finally goes to see what the hell is going on.>Karn fully breaks out of Wrath, gets the skinny of the situation from geets.>”Oh, Nappa? I killed that fool when he lost to this idiot. He was useless to me at that point.”>Legendary.exeKarn’s Return: The Furious Rise of a Legendary Super Saiyan
>>4884129Would half the movie be from Karn's perspective in the jar just thinking and having flashbacks until he gets let out then it shifts back to Z-fighter PoV?
>>48841611/3rd of it is background flashbacks at various points. 1/3 is the wrathmode beatdown, and the final 1/3 is the struggle against Legendary Karn until he finally loses to a combined attack from the surviving fighters that almost fails until Piccolo, still beaten and broken, snipes him with a special beam cannon. He almost avoids it due to his instincts, but the chunk it tears out of his side proves enough to let the combined beams beat his own.
>>4884097>>4884129>>4884161>>4884169A story about a true hero being betrayed. Everyone would root for Karn in the theatres.
>>4884171"Hero" is a bit of a stretch, but he would certainly be something of a sympathetic character.Might work as a series of epilogues if GD ever feels like poaching ideas from the peanut gallery again.I'd also like to meet this hypothetical Karn at some point. I feel like he'd finally be at peace knowing that in some way, we all made it.
>>4884182>implying he wouldn't get broken out of hell and make a beeline to murder vagooter
>>4884196>implying he wouldn't train so hard he breaks out of hell just to murder the traitors that killed their own kind.>said movie is right before the janemba bullshit.
Alright so the short list is as follows>Keep up the Berserker training and meditation with Broly>Ask Chilli about his odd behavior recently>Talk with Tatsu and Nappa about the next generation>Request from Frieza a planet in our system to turn into a death world for training purposes>begin some type of passive training (to be determined)>master fucking Force Lightning already>Polish up on our Djem-So and begin learning Juyo>help Bardock master his Golden Oozaru form and unlock Primal>try and get some more sparring in with CamaliAnything I'm missing?
>>4884539I feel like Chilli's odd behavior can be struck off the list. After all, he's starting to do better, and he knows he can come to us at any point if he needs to. I also really don't get why Camali and Force Lightning are there. We never really bother with Rope-a-Dope, and Force Lightning is only good for being a sadistic fuck, which doesn't do the whole 'killing people' thing that Karn loves his moves to do.
>>4884655>After all, he's starting to do better, and he knows he can come to us at any point if he needs toWhy not just take the initiative now that he kinda trusts us again?>We never really bother with Rope-a-DopeFair, but I feel like it's the only definitive hand-to-hand style we've actually learned. Su-ma and Djem-So are sword styles, and their strengths reflect this.Though I will say, I think the time is gonna come soon to where we start to make our own style specifically suited to our problems.>Force Lightning is only good for being a sadistic fuckIf you're a sadist, sure. While it's certainly good for inflicting excruciating pain, it does actually have utility beyond that. For example, you could use it to>immobilize or outright kill multiple opponents>turn metallic weapons against their users>effortlessly destroy mechanical combatants (one of the few things that can possibly evade Karn's detection)>create lasting storms to deny an enemy from entering a certain areaIt has its uses, even if it is a barbarous and cruel technique.
>>4884686Both Su-Ma and Djem-So can be used just fine unarmed, though, and even if they were sword-only, we can literally create a Ki Sword on command. As for the uses of Force Lightning... We already have those uses covered by other moves.>Multiple opponentsScattershot or Scatter-beam. Or even just Eye beams.>Turn Metallic Weapons against their usersDeath Beam through it, since 99% of the time they have some kind of volatile core in order to be useful at our level.>Effortlessly destroy mechanical combatantsThis I'll give you that Karn doesn't really have any particular options for, but also said mechanical combatants can have anti-surge precautions, which would presumably make them very resistant to Force Lightning.>Create lasting storms to deny an enemy from entering a certain areaKi Mines, and other moves related to it, do this a lot better and easier.
>>4884039Because a fast enough opponent can dodge it, and it’s doubtful Tien taught that move to Chiaotzu. The whole Raditz affair was only an hour or so long as well, and at that point Tien/Chiaotzu/Yamcha didn’t possess the ability to sense ki.Without a sealing container marked correctly, he couldn’t use it. And only Roshi or another Mutaito student can make them currently.>>4884097A more canon Vegeta facing the wrath of a real Saiyan would make a good movie.>>4884129Now that’s a feature>>4884539Those are options>>4884655Chilli’s a kid who just suffered intense trauma. Not as fucked up as post-Freeza Kid Gohan, but still awful.>>4884686>>immobilizeYou walked through it when Bane unleashed a storm on you. Only really immobilizes the weak-willed. But anon makes a better point, almost everything on Karn’s skill list is meant to just outright commit a murder. Lightning just isn’t.
>>4884539I'm not interested in lightning, I just want to learn the more esoteric/cool force abilities.Honestly surprised we haven't learned more sith abilities yet.
>>4884539For the list:Berserker stuff is fineChilli is slowly healing, by being with his now wife, and us supporting him when he needs it, he knows we're there for him. Let him be the one who comes to us about his problems.Agreed with the Next Gen stuff.Freeza stuff is part of the chain of talking with Tatsu imo.Passives are fine.Fuck Force Lightening. Spend that time learning Juyo or bettering our Precog so its combat viable.Djem-So is fine.Meh on Bardock. Thats not something we can help with at all. He needs a higher base PL and just more practice in general holding the form. Fucking Camali. Hes cool but we're already going all in Djem-So which is a better defensive counter attack style.
>>4884539We should ask bane if he knows any forms of moving meditation and see if we can combine it with our Broly style
>>4884878I seem to remember a Jedi training method that involved levitating a number of steel balls in a specific pattern around one's self before eventually destroying them with specific lightsaber movements. The end goal being to increase spatial awareness, improve subtle telekinesis, and increase the speed and precision of one's dueling.Such a thing was also done while meditating, similar to any repetitive action meant to distract from outside thoughts and intrusions. As for what else Bane might know specifically? I have no idea, but any good Sith knows how to temper their extreme emotions so as not to become a slave to them.
>>4884539I think we’ve kinda outgrown Force Lightning as a useful technique. Opponent on our level probably wouldn’t be too affected by it, it’d only really be good for eliminating large groups of mooks at this point.
QM UPDATE4 1/2 posts in on the Chaya epilogue, that takes place both before and after when she was telepathically speaking to Karn. And now we’ll get to see if Vox’s investments into more powerful weapons is worth the money. In the meantime, how have you been enjoying this arc? Enjoying the two-week threads more, or would you prefer going back to new episodes weekly? Liking the slower pace, and focusing on the interactions? Ready to start seriously training, and to start reaching for the next level? What are some of the different passives you -think- might be options available to choose from? And last but not least, which arc/moment so far has been your favorite?
>>4884539Fuck force lightning, we don't need it and have more important shit to do, like Hamon.
>>4885418Yeah, this coming Slice of Life, Pokemon Jurassic Park planning, and character interactions we've been missing.
>>4885613What? You didn’t finish your sentence.
>>4885418I think the two-week threads work better for the peace arc, but I personally would prefer going back to one thread a week once the battles pick back up, next arc. Slower pace and interactions are definitely my thing, though a lot of anons seem to be itching to get right back into the action. Training's gonna be hell, as it always is with how many options and anons we have. My -hopes- for options for Passives areHamon BreathingWeird Ki particulate aura sense that was mentionedForce PrecogEnergy BodyAnd, my personal favorite arc so far would have to be the latest Covenant War, particularly the Siege of New Salda.
>>4885704Internet keeps going out, and 4chan eats it. Its going to be great*
>>4885704>>4885711The impatient faggots can sit and spin, we finally have a chance, for all the character interactions we have been missing out on for the past few years. Both literally, and figuratively. If 2 week threads mean they are long and bigger updates, than sure, plus the epilogues. That would be great, I don't want to blow through this coming Peace Arc.>Hamon BreathingJust unconscious permanent Hamon breathing would be super cool.
>>4885711>training hellFortunately I’ve learned from my previous mistakes, so training options are going to be a lot more streamlined. Those are the ones I’ve outlined or at least hinted at so far. Those are two wildly separate yet similar arcs anon. But look how far Karn came in just a few years.>>4885749Makes a little more sense now.>>4885759>I don't want to blow through this coming Peace Arc.Same. Once this arc reaches it’s end, well. Let’s just say that the Covenant’s fall was the end of an era, and a new one begins this arc. By the end of this anime training arc, several years will have passed. And it will be time to face the Destroyer>permanent Hamon breathing would be super cool. That route does carry risk. Not to you, but extended exposure to you would inevitably cause skin cancer in those around you. At least if your Hamon is only as powerful as Joseph’s breathing, and not let’s say Kars’
>>4885842>Same. Once this arc reaches it’s end, well. Let’s just say that the Covenant’s fall was the end of an era, and a new one begins this arc. By the end of this anime training arc, several years will have passed. And it will be time to face the DestroyerOh fuck. Feels like going from being the All-American in college ball and then moving up to the pros and being right back at the bottom.
>>4885854I get the same feeling. And you know how every rookie earns their stripes.
>>4885860>Dude fucking rockets over his headGod damn was he trying to tear his head off?
>>4885860Yeeeep.>>4885861That's the idea of the sport, and this stage of the game specifically, lol.All that said though, as much as raising Karn's PL and acquiring special tricks are important for us, it makes it all the more important to make sure our legacy and our children are set up for success. The reason that the divine is so repulsive to us is the rottenness- the corruption and refusal to cede power to a more capable entity. We won't be the ones to do the same when it ends up Karnworld- because we'll have plenty of successful, well educated, bad ass heirs.
>>4885861There's a reason you see them wearing all those fucking pads. That said, it only makes em hit harder.
>>4885418>Enjoying the two-week threads more, or would you prefer going back to new episodes weekly? It works for this slower-paced arc. Maybe once we get to the next arc we could go back.>Liking the slower pace, and focusing on the interactions? Slow pace has never been my thing, but I enjoy just having simple conversations with our friends and family.>Ready to start seriously training, and to start reaching for the next level?Absolutely. I’m eager to get a break from these side quests and get started on improving ourselves.>What are some of the different passives you -think- might be options available to choose from?Who knows.>And last but not least, which arc/moment so far has been your favorite? As I usually say, Karns first transformation into Berserker and that arc as a whole was my favorite.
>>4885418I just want to see if Raditz got a lot stronger to be accepted as Chaya’s boyfriend.
>>4885854Going on to a whole new league with your next form. And will be able to compete against Freeza again.>>4885860He held it, good on him.>>4885862That is one advantage Karn has, even over his own people. He’s creating something more powerful than himself in building a dynasty, a lineage of the strongest.>>4885885Good to know>I’m eager to get a break from these side quests and get started on improving ourselvesGood news and bad news. This arc is all about training and side quests. This arc is about how you’re shaping the future, both of yourself and your family. That was a good thread. Still one of my personal highlights, as far as writing for characters go.>>4886253He’s certainly not stopping his training anytime soon
>>4886348>Going on to a whole new league with your next form. And will be able to compete against Freeza againThank god. We've been left in the dust for a hot minute, and I've been waiting to get to the form that could potentially kill Beerus of all people.
And I'm finally caught up after three weeks of reading the archive, damn that was a looooooooooooong ride.
>>4884097>>4884129>>4884161>>4884169I’d totally watch this movie. I have a perfect add on though. >Berserker Karn beating Vegeta into the dirt and telling him he’s unworthy to be a Prince, let alone the King of Saiyans.
>>4884039>>4884097>>4884129>>4884169I would watch those movies. If the animated them like latest Broly that would be really nice.
>>4886514As much as I like the look of the new Broly movie, I think I'd prefer another aesthetic for Karn.He would be a relic of a bygone era, so why not reflect that in his movie? Make it look like Deadzone. Classic Dragon Ball style taken to the nth degree.
>>4886517That's a good idea too Deadzone aesthetic is very nice too. If I would vote for another aesthetic for Karn's movie it would be something like this picture. That old Dragon Ball Z vibe. And that type of sound track:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lttvfc3ywJs
>>4885418>Enjoying the two-week threads more, or would you prefer going back to new episodes weekly?I enjoying the two-week threads more.>>4885418>Liking the slower pace, and focusing on the interactions?I like them very much.As much as great and exciting the great war with Covenant ark was it also had this certain side:>Karn meets some character that he did not seen in while.>"It's been ages since we seen each other.">"What have you been doing lately?">"How about we... never mind got to go back the war. Covenant is trying to destroy us again...">"See you some other time..."There are so many interesting characters in this quest but during war all we could do was do see some of them super briefly and hope that after war we get to more time to hang out. I still want to meet with Leyas and Sarada for example, we were suppose to test how strong their demon forms became. By the way their powers are probably not the same as Karn's kids.>Kids have Saiyan and Demon blood in themSarada's and Leyas' new bodies were made somewhat artificially by Demongo's powers. It's not the same and I am curious about it.
>>4886348>Good news and bad news. This arc is all about training and side questsGood, we didn't actually do many side quests and I want to 100% the game right now.>>4886451>>4886514Karn only wins by killing a few and then getting driven off. He needs to survive and find Broly and Paragus.>>4886517>>4886590Perfect.
>>4885418>Ready to start seriously training, and to start reaching for the next level?Sure. I can't wait.>>4885885>I’m eager to get a break from these side quests and get started on improving ourselves.>break from these side questsI feel like we haven't really done a much side quests yet if any, and I want to finally start doing them.>Chilli's Wedding? That's a part of the main plot. Not a side quest.>Training with students? Also feels like part of the main plot. Nothing from a side quest about it.>The thing with a medallion of Shinnok, green artificer, getting into middle of war with Bolas was unexpected. I don't know whether it counts as side quest or not. It was awesome anyway.>The thing that felt most like a side quest was that emergency with Scyther at the lab. I liked it a lot. Those Mindbreakers under the sea. What's there? That chasm that opened in the underground where we found present for Chilli. Where does it leads? And more.I'm excited about this whole Arc we are having now. I don't want to rush through it and realize we interacted with almost nobody and did almost nothing.
>>4886348>Good news and bad news. This arc is all about training and side quests.Guess I’ll get strapped in for the long haul.
>>4884539>>Talk with Tatsu and Nappa about the next generationInclude into this Vegeta too.
>>4886641I'd count the Bolas war and Shinnok's gem bullshit to be a random event that happened too us, not a proper side quest. Technically speaking anyways.
>>4886641Eh, I guess it just comes down to me not really being interested in the people and fictional properties we’ve interacted with so far this arc like: Chilli, MK, isekai shit, MtG and Pokemon. Just not really me cup of tea. Those Mindflayers are interesting though, looking forward to delving into what the fuck is up with them.
>>4886433He’s been a good distance ahead of you for awhile. And will for the future have a powerful edge on form mastery. How many years has he had Golden now?>>4886442Let’s go!>>4886590Brings me back.>>4886595Yeah, during an aggressive war not a lot of time to sit and chat. I liked it a lot. That was just the first part of that plot. More will happen down the line, as you’ve already met. We’ve barely scratched the surface of this one.>>4886644The side quests lead into unlocking different trainings, including some as potentially game-breaking as getting Instant Transmission was. Plus I’ll do my best to make sure each one is interesting and exciting, although the stakes are going to stay lower than the last arc’s.>>4886673>to be a random event that happened too us, not a proper side quest. Not proper side quest(s) YET. Especially Shinnok’s amulet, that side quest isn’t anywhere close to over. In fact that was the prologue. Did you really think Raven’s magic could truly hide it from a god, once the box’s seal was broken? Those that were searching for it now know which realm it’s in, if not the exact planet too. Trunks isn’t the last big fight Karn’ll get this arc, believe me. I’m not here to make a BORING quest.
>>4886680Then why are you even here?
>>4886691Because I’ve been here since the beginning. If I dropped every quest because of a single temporary gripe I’d never have any fun.

Well its a good enough way to see Doomguy again, or does he have his Flying Space Fortress Monastery of Awesomeness and Demon Slaying? >I’m not here to make a BORING quest.Shut the fuck up, your not capable of it, there are retards that want to skip worldbuilding, character development, and side quests for upgrades. But we call them faggots and move on.>>4886708
>>4886726Charming as usual, anon.
>>4886690>including some as potentially game-breaking as getting Instant Transmission was.Still hoping we can improve on that to make it even more broken, as you hinted with that Jiren gif way back.
>>4886690Man I've been rereading the quest for a week or two now, just finished thread 100/101 with that clusterfuck of a time war. Looking back at that talk with the Supreme Kai of Time and Karn about Amayas Timeline, and the consequences of our interference, I'm wondering what Chrona is thinking looking back at that talk given one of her selves recent erasures?Same for that warning we gave her back when our demon kids had to leave New Salda and we told her we'd never stop until our family was able to be together permanantly.
>>4886747Ayyyyyye
>>4886770>I'm wondering what Chrona is thinking looking back at that talk given one of her selves recent erasures?I hope she’s regretting having ever fucked with us. It’s really a testament to her hubris that she chose to show up to a battle with us when we have a one-shot attack that made even Mechi worried.
>>4886794Pink Bitch learning a lesson and regretting her actions? HA, no way.
>>4886801I think we've actually shown her the thing she's feared most.A single individual who won't bow down despite the overwhelming advantage she holds. Worse yet, that advantage is rapidly going away as said individual is training like a madman and unlocking powers to not only rival, but surpass the gods.
>>4886801The arrogance of the Kai race truly knows no bounds. Hopefully we can reform our Shin so he doesn’t get culled with the rest of them.
>>4886815I feel like it could go either way. While we’ve shown her that we’re capable of killing an entity as powerful as her, she’s also an incredibly stubborn person and this might lead her into doubling down on her anti-Karn shenanigans. We can only hope that this event knocked some sense into her.
>>4886815>I think we've actually shown her the thing she's feared most. She was right all along, we were the problem, it doesn't matter how we came to kill her, only that we did. It ain't her fault in the slightest. Nope.>Worse yet, that advantage is rapidly going away as said individual is training like a madman and unlocking powers to not only rival, but surpass the gods.A few key wishes like say, being able to move even if time is stopped. Means she has to fight, and if it comes to blows, we will maul her, piece by piece.>>4886832Common sense goes out the window when she loses chunks of her personality and then erases their existence till naught but Pink Bitch remains.>>4886817We can finally make our Dreadzone God Beatdown event.
I feel like we're naturally gonna be doing more of the Scientist side quests given that we're probably gonna need them for the death world project.
>>4886841I'm not sold on the death world stuff. Saiyans aren't going to become clueless just because there's no risk of covenant soldiers uncloaking and shanking them. There's still going to be a drive for them to seek out true danger and become stronger without us making a killer playground that only some of the population might go to. If anything the bottleneck they've gone through has probably planted the seeds of the "survivor mentality" into saiyan society better than anything we could do artificially.
>>4886863The mentality sure, but that only goes so far when going to the gym. We need to make challenges that they can overcome and actually experience.
>>4886726>I miss our old crew, we haven't seen them muchIs a problem when friends put you on a pedestal.>and reach the end!Ha. This ride only ends one way.>Shut the fuck up, your not capable of itAppreciate that anon. But go back to the Hive arc, and I was certainly capable of it then. >“Karn?” Towa asks, you addressing the Supreme Kai of Time herself.“I’ll go peacefully, on one condition.” you say, the Kai just raising an eyebrow and not saying anything. You take this as a go-ahead, continuing. “Tell me Supreme Kai, what favor did my daughter cash in? What did she have to do, what price did she pay to make this happen?”“She saved reality itself.” the Supreme Kai of Time says, you just staring at her in confusion. “A Demon God, Demigra, broke into the Time Nest. Had Chaya not aided Ace, their combined powers destroying that insane deity, all of our timelines would have been utterly destroyed.”“And for all that, she only got to spend a few hours here in my time?” you ask, fuming. But before you can say anything else, Towa’s hand clamps down harder on your shoulder. The Kai still says nothing, waiting. So you turn to leave, giving a final warning to her over your shoulder. “I’ll tell you now, Supreme Kai Of Time: I finally know what it’s like for my family to be together and happy like I always wanted. -Saiyan Conqueror Quest 158 Intermission-AGE 749, DREADZONE ARENA“It’s finally time, ladies and gentlemen, for the event we’ve all been waiting for!” Dallas shouts into the mic, audience exploding into cheers. “The man who’s clawed his way to the top with his blades and now stands on the precipice of becoming the next champion! Give it up for the MAAAD! SWOOORDSMAAAAN!!”He raises one fist high, more of the audience cheering him than you’d expected. But that’s no matter, you’ll win them back once you beat him. They always do.“And now, the woman who needs no introduction!” Dallas continues, hyping the fight up as much as he can. “The Champion of Dreadzone! CHAAAAAYAAAAAA!!”“CHA-YA! CHA-YA! CHA-YA!” the crowd chants as you pitch your sword down, it slamming blade-first down into the arena floor. You drop down after it, landing atop the pommel with your arms crossed and literally look down on your opponent.“You’ve been working hard, and have earned your spot in here against me.” you say, then hop down from the sword onto the arena floor. “So I’ll give you a chance. Throw your poisoned dagger away, and after I win I’ll let you live.”“I’ll be the one to finally end you, child.” he replies, drawing and brandishing both of his blood-splattered blades. “This day will be remembered as the end of your reign!”“Don’t say I didn’t give you a chance.” you reply, turning and with a single smooth motion draw your heavy blade back out of the ground. “Let’s do this.”“It’s time!!” Juanita, the mechanical co-commentator of Dallas shouts over the roar of the crowd. “Mad Swordsman versus Chaya! BEGIN!!”“Show me everything you’ve got.” you say, holding your giant sword overhead in your Dad’s Djem So style. He takes a more defensive stance, blades crossed in anticipation of your opening strike. You take a single right-footed step forward, then launch yourself off that foot and close the distance near instantly. He immediately leaps aside to your right as you swing down in a powerful overhead attack. But you were expecting it, twisting counterclockwise into a left back kick. Your armored boot smashes into his side, launching the swordsman away and towards the molten metal surrounding the rectangular ring. “HAAA!!”“GUH!!” he wheezes, flipping back and stabbing his blade into the ground. The sword stops his backwards momentum, the madman spinning around his blade and jerking it free to 180 his momentum right back around at you. As he does, the man begins rapidly spinning, blades slashing like Momma does as he charges. “DIE!!”
>>4889020But you’ve seen her technique before, Momma even teaching you a few different methods for handling someone coming at you like this. Switching to a defensive stance, the point of your blade down at the ground and holding the handle overhead, arms crossed. Your sword forms a shield, the madman’s spinning blades striking your sword. Again, and again, and again, the rapidly-spinning man slashes up the length of your sword. As he does you lift it, redirecting the Mad Swordsman up over and away from you. The major weakness of such a spin, other than the potential for being extremely disoriented when you stop, is that you can’t pinpoint the direction you’re going easily. So as he spins up to the crossguard, his blades still making contact you heave, launching him from you.“GRRAAAAARRRRGGGHH!!” he snarls incomprehensibly, sliding to a stop a dozen yards from you and spinning to face you. But you’ve played enough defense, it’s his turn to block you.“HRRAAAA!!” you roar, lunging forward with a powerful thrust of your blade. His own swords form an X, catching your blade at the cross and twisting his body to his left just past the razor edge. But you’re not done, planting your feet and whipping the blade around in a full 360 to swing at his left side. This time the swordsman leaps, knees to his chest as his feet narrowly clear your weapon. But now he’s done for, because you know he can’t fly! “HYAAAA!!”Stopping the blade you reverse your swing into a backwards overhead, your sword’s edge coming up at him from below. Again the Mad Swordsman makes the defensive X, catching your sword at the cross. But since he can’t fly, your blow launches him back behind you, well out of range overhead. As you do you continue the motion, twisting the sword broadside to cover your own back.KATING KACHINGAnd just as you’d guessed, he’d thrown some of his smaller, doubtlessly poisoned blades at your back. Fortunately your sword is wide, and despite not fully shielding you he’d no doubt aimed at more vital points. So instead of ending or debilitating you, his weapons bounced harmlessly off of your own. Casually resting your blade against your back you turn, seeing him land. Despite being a “Mad Swordsman”, his skill with his blades is severely lacking. The weapon-swapping wizard Erza is a better opponent, the only thing this guy’s got going for him is he’s quick. But unfortunately for him you’re faster, and getting bored of him. So you decide it’s time to stop playing around, and end this.“You did well to survive this long.” you say, clenching your free fist up before your face. “Now, let’s see how well you hold up when I kick it into overdrive? HAAAAAAAAAA!!!”And in a golden flash and burst of sparks, you Ascend.
>>4889021“There it is folks! After an explosive opening, our Champion has decided to level up and take her opponent more seriously!” you hear Dallas, crowd chanting and cheering you on. You do hear a surprising number of them still cheering for the swordsman, which irks you. You’ll show them. “Does this mean that the Mad Swordsman is stronger than our champion had anticipated?”“Doubtful, as she’s clearly been anticipating the Mad Swordsman’s attacks.” Juanita says, her robotic voice sounding bored. “Increasing her power like this, without taking her final form, seems to me like she’s now ready to seriously go on the attack. Will the Mad Swordsman be able to keep up?”“Hey, let’s make this interesting.” you say to him, flipping your giant sword into a one handed reverse grip in your right hand, tip pointed behind you. “I bet I can throw my sword into the air, and beat you before it hits the ground. What do you think?”“If you want to die, then try it.” he replies, his menacing-looking aura flaring. “Keep taking me lightly, and you’ll regret it.”“We’ll see.” you reply, pulling your blade back, and launching it skyward. You didn’t throw it anywhere near full power, at the speed it’s moving you give it twenty or so seconds before it drops back down. Which is more than enough. “Let’s go! Haaaa!!”With your other hand you fire a short range, wide-angled beam of ki forward. He sprints aside, narrowly dodging the blast but for an instant takes his eyes off of you. Which is too bad for him, as you close the distance between you with a single lunge. Before he’s even fully realized what’s happened you’ve dashed past him, and then deliver a painful elbow into his exposed left ribs.CRUNCHBones break from the force of your blow, the swordsman gurgling in pain. To his credit though he doesn’t drop, instead spinning blade-first and trying to decapitate you. Ducking the painfully slow attack, at least to your senses now, you retaliate with a left uppercut to the jaw. Again bones break, your attack lifting him off his feet. But he can’t fall here, you following up your uppercut with a right palm to the chest. His sternum audibly cracks, launching him back away from you and towards where you’d been standing just moments ago. He crashes back first to the ground, tumbling over three or four times before sliding to a stop face down on the arena floor. And judging from where he landed on the tiles, you used exactly enough power on the final hit. This fight is over, all that’s left is if he surrenders fast enough.
Credit to @SplicedPenguin for this amazing piece!>>4889025“Give up.” you say after walking up to him, crossing your arms and staring down at him as he struggles to rise up again. “Surrender, and I’ll let you live. Grow stronger, and maybe try me again someday.”“I! W-won’t-!” he spits, coughing up blood as he tries to defy you. But, unfortunately for him, the Mad Swordsman hadn’t realized that was his final chance. As your sword drops out of the air, point first piercing right through his back and embedding itself deep into the arena. “Ack!”With a final spray of blood the man falls limp, his ki disappearing entirely from your senses. The crowd explodes in cheers, but you just feel...Disappointed. You’d honestly not been expecting much more out of him, but you were still hopeful. And having your hopes dashed does sting.“Ladies and gentlemen, your winner, and STILL Champion of Dreadzone! Give it up for CHAAAAAYAAAAA!!” Dallas bellows, the crowd getting even louder. You jerk your bloody blade free, putting on you camera smile and raising your weapon in salute to your adoring fans. But inside you just feel a bit empty and disappointed inside. You were hoping for a much more exciting battle.“Hey kiddo, you up?” comes your Daddy’s thoughts telepathically. He’s okay! You’d had to leave late yesterday while he was still out to get here for a today’s fight, and had been weighing on your mind. But that doesn’t matter, because he’s okay!“Hey, you’re okay!” you reply excitedly, then start questioning him. “Was worried about you. What happened? Why’d you just drop like that?”“Apparently I got rocked harder than I thought.” he tells you. “Where’d you go?”“Oh, me and Raditz took the cameras back to Dreadzone, and I had a fight today.” you answer, dismissing the ‘fight’ already. “Wasn’t much of a fight, didn’t even go into my final form.”“Most things out there aren’t really a challenge for you, at this level.” he replies, then after a moment adds. “Maybe you could hop back home more often, and fight opponents at your own level. At least keep you sharp.”“I had completely forgot about that!” you say, having forgotten your first arena fights were back home. “That sounds like a great idea. Wonder if-“You see the announcers’ pod dropping from their observation area, coming to interview you about your latest victory. “Oh, hey I gotta go.” you think to him reluctantly. “Talk more later okay?”“Of course, have fun kiddo.” he answers, you ending the link to hurry and get this over with.“And here we are with our Champion. So tell us Chaya, what are your thoughts about the fight?” Juanita asks, holding a mic out to you.
>>4889029“He wasn’t terrible, but didn’t deserve to be fighting on the same stage as me.” you say with a smirk, powering down out of your Ascended Super Saiyan form with a small sigh. “At least he was quick.”“Well then I have some good news for you, because your battles for today aren’t over!” Dallas shouts, catching you by surprise as the pod returns to their announcer spot. “That’s right ladies and gentlemen! Today our Champion gets not one, but TWO battles to the death!”At this the crowd goes crazy, and seeing them on their feet cheering walk a small circle, throwing your arms up and hyping the crowd further. You aren’t quite sure what’s going on, but hopefully it’s a more exciting fight than the last one was. You feel your blood pumping, feeling that rush of excitement and anticipation. As it surges through your veins, you realize that you hadn’t felt this sensation in the ring for quite awhile, and hadn’t realized how much you missed it. You just hope this fight lives up to your newly-raised expectations.“Several years ago, Dreadzone lost a legend.” Dallas begins, storytelling to hype this next opponent. “An Executuoner for several years, his hardware and software were both long-outdated so he retired from the ring. But after receiving a full technological overhaul, he’s ready once more to step into the warzone and show his metal! So once more, ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for the new! The improved! SHEEELLSHOOOOOOCK!!”“No way!” you shout, looking around excited before seeing him dropping down from the air above you. “Let’s go!”“WAAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAA!!” Shellshock bellows happily, his heavy frame slamming down onto the arena floor with a titanic crash before rising, raising both fists to the air. “I’M BACK!!”The crowd goes wild at this, and you’d be lying if you said you weren’t excited as well. He knows all your moves, and since Vox hadn’t given you a heads up means this Shellshock is no doubt an experimental body. Which you’re all too willing to put through it’s paces, and see just how much of a fight he can put up now.“Oh hell yeah, this is gonna be great!” you shout, holding the blade overhead in both hands, taking your Djem So stance. And in a flash once more take your Super Saiyan form, ready to throw down with a much more exciting opponent. “Let’s do this!”“Target acquired!” he replies, leveling his hand cannon at you. “Initiating Chaya protocol!”“Both fighters ready?” Dallas shouts over the audience’s roaring cheers. “BEGIN!!”And everything goes red.
>>4889031“...Ow...” you say, finding yourself lying flat on the ground. One second you were standing, and the next everything was pain. His weapon is far stronger than you remember, and more powerful than you were expecting Dreadzone tech to be. It hit like those Covenant lasers did to your dad, wait did he- “SHIT!”Rolling to your right you dodge Shellshock’s massive left foot, it smashing into the arena floor where you’d been a moment before. Wasting no time you get your feet under you and blast off, getting plenty of distance between the two of you. As you fly back the wind stings on your chest, and looking down see his blast destroyed your armor entirely. Your torso’s a bit red, a few spots bleeding a bit, but fortunately your armor ate the worst of that shot. Looks like you’re fighting the rest of this battle armorless.“You cannot escape.” Shellshock says, firing his swarms of shoulder rockets into the air from the three tubes on each side of his chest. The air is swiftly filled with explosives, each one flying their way towards your half of the arena. “My missiles are programmed to seek and destroy!”“Oh yeah? Well so am I!” you roar, clenching your fists as you Ascend. Sparks dance around your flared golden aura as you dash, not away from Shellshock but towards him, ki gathered in both fists. “HYAAAA!!”You fire the ki in your right as a Spear Punch, the piercing attack flying right towards his chest. But it seems they were watching your fights closely when designing this new and improved Shellshock, as he copies your Reflect Punch with a strange pale blue energy you can’t sense gathered around his left hand. Deflecting your attack into the sky he again levels his weapon at you, but this time you’re ready.“HAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, throwing a powerful beam from your left right at Shellshock’s cannon just as he fires. Golden energy meets crimson, your ki stopping the beam in it’s tracks. But to your surprise, you aren’t immediately overpowering it. Well, lucky you that you have one more form. “Try THIS! HAAAAAAAA!!”As you roar, unleashing your restraints your body begins bulking up, transforming into the Ultra state. This form, while not a “true” transformation in it’s own right, pulls out the absolute limit of your current form’s power in exchange for burning through your energy, and the giant muscles slowing your body down considerably. But right now what you need is power, and this form has it in spades.“RRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” you bellow, doubling the power behind your wave. Seeing his attack losing Shellshock stops firing, instead shifting his left forward and reactivating that shield. This time it appears as a quarter dome, your energy slamming into it with your fullest power.
>>4889032But raw power isn’t enough, the shield copying your dad’s and deflecting the energy out around the barrier.“Tch!” you exhale, ending the attack after a few seconds. Seems that while he has been your coach, Shellshock has been studying you as well and preparing for this battle. Which just leaves you feeling even more excited. You haven’t had a REAL challenge in your ring since facing down that splitjaw with the Stand that let him dodge all your attacks. And this is getting you fired up! And you’re not the only one, the crowds exploding with volume you haven’t heard in quite some time. They’re clearly enjoying this as much as you are! “Now THIS is a fight!”“Eat my-!” Shellshock shouts, leaping into the air while gathering that energy into his left hand. “Fist-honorable Discharge!!”And he crashes fist-first to the ground, creating a massive blast. You’d adopted his attack as the Shellshock Punch years ago, but with these upgrades his attack’s power has improved dramatically. Even with the extra bulk of your Ultra form, his attack pushes you back and nearly knocks you off your feet. Sliding backwards, forced back by the blast, you suddenly hear a mechanical tinking sound. And as the blast ends you see the source, Shellshock has released at least fifty of his Bouncer mines. Explosive balls the size of your transformed dad’s fist, each one explodes on contact with something other than the arena floor or after ten-ish seconds. And with their odd shape, each bounces unpredictably, making staying on the ground a terrible option. Leaping into the air, once more hr begins firing swarms of those missiles towards you.“Too slow.” you say, rapidly dropping your Ultra form and returning to a normal Ascended Saiyan to get your speed back up. Without all the extra bulk evading the bouncing bombs and missiles becomes far easier, you even noticing your sword on the ground and snatching it back up while dodging between two Bouncers. Cartwheeling from your hands back to your feet you launch yourself back, dodging the last three missiles as they strike where you’d been standing. “You’re gonna need more than that to beat me, Shellshock!”“I’m not anywhere near the end of my protocols!” Shellshock replies, reaching back behind his back with his left hand. And pulls something mechanical, attaching the strange part to the front of his blaster, rotating it 90 degrees and now holding the weapon low with both hands. “Hasta la vista, baby!”And once more everything goes red.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 158 Intermission End-
>>4889029Damn that artwork is looking fresh.
>>4889035Nice interlude GD.Y’know, there’s been one thing I’ve been meaning to ask. Why doesn’t the Time THOT just erase our timeline now? I can understand not doing it before when she underestimated us but what’s stopping her from doing it now that she knows we can kill her?
>>4889062Oh yeah, man’s been on fire.>>4889073Glad you liked it.She can’t, now that Karn and Towa have a(3)kid(s). Their timelines are now permanently linked, erasing one would erase the other too.
>>4889087>Their timelines are now permanently linked, erasing one would erase the other too.Why doesn't she erase them then? Is Towa's timeline important or something?
>>4889131She didn’t know which timeline your Towa originally came from, then when her first lab was blown realized it was one she couldn’t lose. For reasons she wouldn’t disclose
>>4889131>Why doesn't she erase them then? Is Towa's timeline important or something?Because for all shes a bitch, as a Divine Being theres LAWS she has to obey. If Towa never interferes with her own native timeline, then its free of alternations, and By The Laws Of Time it can't be destroyed. Chrona is alot like Angels, she might be absurdly OP, but even for all her apparent freedom she still has some rules she has to obey.
>>4889062Honestly the ring really sells it.
>>4889131I assume it’s because our Towas timeline is an “official” one that lacks any malicious alterations or outside meddling. Erasing that one is probably against the rules.
>>4889165Little details like that really bring the whole thing together.
>>4889141Oh yeah. Breaking the rules blatantly would have Consequences for her.>>4889165Little details are great. Like the Chilli art.>>4889175She won’t say
>>4889136Whelp our Towa may very well be the canon one from the main timeline, which is actually hilarious and would probably piss off a hell of a lot of the time patrol if they figured that out. Also a fuckton of irony considering the absolute shit she gives Karn because of her job.
>>4889219Say GD, going through the old threads still, in the same thread we reconnected with Banes Holocron, Cauli got Dark Souls Purging Stones. If we know/find out of Colds condition IC would a Purging Stone remove more of his Cursed Wounds?
>>4889029God damnit, she's thinking like a Goku.
>>4889035Damn, Tanya ain't fucking around on R&D.
>>4889165It's perfect is what it is.
Does anyone recall the thread(s) number where we first met Towa and Chronoa? I need to give it a reread.
>>4889280Yeah, that's what I'm betting on too, our Towa is one from one of the main Timeline branches Trunks fucked with, and she can't risk icing our timeline without fucking her shit up. Which makes her self-righteous arrogance even worse, because we don't fucking do anything Time Breakers are typically doing. If she fucked off and let us have our way, like doing her fucking job requires when a stable timeline occurs, and left our big family alone to live peacefully, none of the problems she has now would matter.
>>4889355Pretty sure it was right around our first meeting with the Dark Matter Pirates, and after Killua's failed assassination attempt.
>>4889358Tbf we actually did do Timebreaker shit. It was for a good reason, but we did it.Just off the top of my head. We stole Godsend, saved the planewalker, crippled 3 gods, and start a Zanmasu level of fear of mortals in pretty much the entire pantheon. We headed to an alternative Namek and blew up the Big Getty Star to get Karn Unbrainwashed. We entered into Amayas timeline to save her from hatchyack.and probably some more that I'm forgetting. Yes, we had good reason for that, but we still broke the laws of time.
>>4889373That is barely related to Pink Bitch insofar as we came from the universe she watches over, and only aided a timeline that was already branching continue.
>>4889361Thanks brah
>>4889379Mate your not getting it. We travelled outside of our own flow of time and knowingly and willingly altered the timelines of atleast 3 others. It doesn't matter that we weren't powering up the canonical bad guys and going to war with the Time Patrol on purpose, we broke the laws of time, and the Supreme Kai of Time sent in the Time Patrol to deal with us.I hate Chrona for not just letting it slide but lets not pretend she has entirely legal reasons to go after us.
>>4889398*that she doesn't have entirely legal reasons to go after us.
>>4889379Not really understanding your rationale for how time shenanigans aren't related to her. Maybe I'm missing something, but I prefer looking at Karn vs Pink Nasty as them being two forces that are justified from their own perspectives but incapable of ever seeing eye to eye. Trying to rationalize Karn as being a good boy that didn't do nothin' and the SKoT as some dunce that just keeps swinging the time patrol at him like a hammer is lame.
>>4889392Yep, its cool. You killcount guy?
>>4889402Whole other universes are not her jurisdiction, The God Maiming Incident was only related by the fact we were working with Towa in a completely different universes event, not under her control. Everything else is us either doing her job better, or her just being a cunt. If I didn't think it was fiction, I'd say Pink hands typed this post.
>>4889398A good chunk of which was entirely in self defense, or doing her job for her.
>>4889438......They are? There are no Alternative Universe Supreme Kais of Time dude. Its the Singular Chrona enforcing The Rules Of Time across the entire multiverse. It doesn't matter if its DBZ, Magic the Gathering, DC, whatever, if you break the laws of time, then its Chrona you answer you too. Also doing her job better? Mate her Job isn't ensuring happily ever afters for everyone, its ensuring that events play out in their proper course, if thats timelines where Zamasu succeeds and wipes out every mortal in every universe in the DBZ setting, or Bulma and her Dad kicking it into high gear and making universe a practical utopia through their science, it doesn't matter. She Enforces The Laws Of Time, And Ensures The Events Of Past, Present, And Future Play Out As They Are Dictated. She's a ruthless bitch who refuses to bend from enforcing those rules, even when its better/easier to do so, but she has actually legit reason to go after us like she has. And even then she tried to play softball and convince Karn to stand down as we saw in the end of the Episode 101 battle marathon.
>>4889442The Magic timeline is not her jurisdiction, she said so herself, and it was a technicality that she was able to operate out there. Different space is not the same as timelines. The timeline we rescued our family in was already attacked by Time Breakers, ergo we were doing her job better.>She's a ruthless bitch who refuses to bend from enforcing those rules, even when its better/easier to do so, but she has actually legit reason to go after us like she has. No she doesn't she is just that fucking lazy, she'll break the rules for Trunks if it means he stays loyal, it barely taxes her anyways. >And even then she tried to play softball and convince Karn to stand down as we saw in the end of the Episode 101 battle marathon. She wanted us to lay down and die or let our Towa die. Fuck her and her softball, she wanted bootlicking nothing else. Begone Pink Bitch sympathizer.
>>4889433Nah, I’m just taking the time to brush up my knowledge on events I’ve mostly forgotten.
>>4889455Fair.
>>4889280No, your Towa didn’t birth Fu. I’ll say this, the reason she can’t delete yours and Towas timelines isn’t related to you.>>4889311Potentially. Although at this point, he may not notice a difference.>>4889313Not really. Return gladiators bring more views on their “comeback” attempt than on their first fight.>>4889342Thanks Vox for all the Covenant tech they also got after the Siege of New Salda. But they’re far better at reverse-engineering weapons platforms than the Saiyan/PTO scientists.>>48893559 and 10.>>4889358>because we don't fucking do anything Time Breakers are typically doingBut that is factually incorrect. You have interfered with more than three separate timelines so far.>>4889373Yes.As for those of you arguing, I’m not interfering unless specific questions are asked my way.
>>4889985>But that is factually incorrect. You have interfered with more than three separate timelines so far.Semantics, fuck Pink Bitch.>Not really. Return gladiators bring more views on their “comeback” attempt than on their first fight.I guess? Still not a good line of thought for her to have wanting an opponent to survive fighting her with the intent to kill her.>Thanks Vox for all the Covenant tech they also got after the Siege of New Salda. But they’re far better at reverse-engineering weapons platforms than the Saiyan/PTO scientists.I can bet, they are experts.
>>4890015>Semantics, fuck Pink Bitch.>OP says you are flat out wrong>Autistic anon petulantly say the OP is wrong.Never change 4-Chan. Never mind.

>>4890949Ah. The usual stuff. The reason why I went from a joking racist to an actual one.Every day. Every single day I find more reasons to pray for Three Gorges to collapse.
>>4890985Critical Race Theory is the best to thing to happen to racists, no need to do the legwork to prove what race the bottom feeders are, the idiots that support it proudly collect the data themselves, and deny reality. So the louder they deny something, the truer it is.
>>4890762Hope it works.>>4890936It’s all about control. They have no control over their own lives, so inconveniencing/exerting control over someone else makes them feel powerful.>>4890942Did you try copy-pasting the link? What happened?
>>4886863>I'm not sold on the death world stuff. >If anything the bottleneck they've gone through has probably planted the seeds of the "survivor mentality" into saiyan societyThis only applies to those that experienced said bottleneck. The war, the hardships and all that. You are right, but it only applies to those that were there, alive and old enough to remember. Those born after this in time of peace will be much more clueless. Can you truly understand what it's like go through Covenant's siege of New Salda without really being there, but just hearing about it from your parents? It will not give the same results.>There's still going to be a drive for them to seek out true danger and become stronger without us making a killer playground that only some of the population might go to.This "drive for them to seek out true danger and become stronger " will be mostly useless and will result in nearly nothing. As things are now already many inhabitants of the Universe 7 can be easily obliterated by a below than average teenage Saiyan.Young new Saiyans may look for challenge but they will rarely find it unless they go looking really hard. "Dark Matter Thieves" are example of individuals that could deliver a good fight, but to reach them you probably need to travel to the other side of the universe.Taking so much time just to find an opponent who can fight seems like a massive waste of time."But Sayians can fight among themselves to train." Correct, but when Karn and Meloka fight and train with each other, they are not actually fighting as lethally as they do when really intend to kill the opponent. They fight hard, but it's not a real fight to the death and that is a huge difference. >Saiyans aren't going to become clueless just because there's no risk of covenant soldiers uncloaking and shanking them.Laughs in "Karn Jr Super Saiyan 4 from future Epilogue with Janemba".This kid is a prodigy in terms of power even as an infant. Later when he is older and has obtained the Super Saiyan 4 his power should be more than great. I mean really huge. And yet despite that he managed to be hit and punched multiple times by who?Wookies.Considering the astronomical difference in power they should not be able to even touch him.One anon said that it is related to Karn Jr's lack of killer instinct. He was not willing to end lives of his opponents. This is true but even without will to kill he still should have been able to dodge. This gif represents very accurately the future the Karn Jr and next generations of Saiyans are heading to right now. It can be summed up with one word jobbers . That's right even the strong beings can be jobbers . We need a good Death World where they can experience true combat and true danger. Otherwise where will they be able to truly learn lessons that their patents gained from their hard life on planet Vegeta or during the Covent war?

He could visit and witness latest genetic experiments. The best of them he could copy and include into his own ability set. But that's not all he could be interested in. He is learning about what Kais do and creation. The aspect of modifying and creating new life forms seems like a subject he would be very interested in too.

It looks like the second link for 148 is the editing link specifically for you, btw. While I'm thinking about it, could you spoil if force lightning requires a specific gesture to use, or could we just channel the electricity through our body at will? When it was discussed earlier, other anons seemed kinda cold on it, and I was thinking it could be a good technique in emergencies like when Demigra grabbed us and our hands weren't free.>>4891054Fair enough points. However, you have to remember that there's plenty of things that can make up for a raw PL difference in this universe that would provide a natural wake up call to any cocky Saiyans. My main concern is that an artificial survival situation might never match up to the real thing, and that our death world might eventually lose it's bite as knowledge of the challenges on it spreads. Anyways, I'd still be down for it if we don't learn of a better alternative when we talk to Tatsu and learn about the other stuff GD mentioned.
>>4891054>Those born after this in time of peace will be much more cluelessYes. Peace breeds weakness.>”But Sayians can fight among themselves to train."Excellent point, but I would like to note something. Both times Meloka’s sparred with you recently have had you requiring Caulifla/Healing Pod to survive. Even though she wasn’t aiming with her most lethal attacks.>Considering the astronomical difference in power they should not be able to even touch him.The “End of Z” Goten issue. Kid’s clearly nearly adult, and has his dad actually HOME training for years, yet clearly can’t fight for shit.>>4891060As Karn should, when facing down the Time Patrol. THIS is Supervillain Karn, in all his Berserk glory.>>4891063Huh, okay. Have an alternative site with less bullshit?>>4891065It happens. Hell, I’m a phoneposting QM, I know all too well how that goes
>>4889025>“Hey, let’s make this interesting.” you say to him, flipping your giant sword into a one handed reverse grip in your right hand, tip pointed behind you. “I bet I can throw my sword into the air, and beat you before it hits the ground. What do you think?”I'm glad Karn does not do things like that in real fights to death. Underestimating opponent can sometimes lead to a nasty surprise. Fighting smart is one of the major things that got Karn through all the troubles in the past. (Another important aspect are his family, friends and allies.)>>4889035Very interesting epilogue. Also:>And pulls something mechanical, attaching the strange part to the front of his blaster, rotating it 90 degrees and now holding the weapon low with both hands. “Hasta la vista, baby!”Is this something that Tanya and her team helped design too?

>>4891076Which would only make him deadlier. But then again, he already has a FULL DAY of Za Warudo’s stopped time, so what’s a little more deadly?>The aspect of modifying and creating new life forms seems like a subject he would be very interested in too. What is the Stone Mask for 500?>>4891077Huh. Does anyone have another place I can upload besides Pastebin?>force lightningI can say that, if channeled incorrectly, that could do damage from simply stopping your heart to frying your brain and leaving you a vegetable.>as knowledge of the challenges on it spreads.Knowing what something “can” do, and witnessing a scientist-created chimera Saibaman’s acid melt through an attack pod’s hull are two different things>>4891089She’s very confident in her appraisals. Granted, she gets to sense their kis and watch them fight for entire seasons before fighting them which is an advantage Karn never gets.Vox’s team created a whole lot of destruction. Now, what modification could they make to a (giant)handheld Glassing Cannon?>>4891094Please do. I’m looking for a backup site anyways now.
>>4891098>what modification could they make to a (giant)handheld Glassing Cannon?By necessity, it has to have a fusion reactor to generate plasma and some type of magnetic lensing to focus and project it.They could have super-tuned the projection module to shoot out a hyper condensed stream of plasma Shin-Godzilla style.Or they could have found a way to project the radioactive emissions from the fusion reactor on top of the plasma for crippling long-term effects. No doubt it also has an overload feature too, which sounds like nothing but pain.
>>4891086>Both times Meloka’s sparred with you recently have had you requiring Caulifla/Healing Pod to survive. Even though she wasn’t aiming with her most lethal attacks.Yes. She's good. She's that good. She is also one of the Saiyans who have combat in their blood. She grew up during war with Tuffles. There was no easy mode. It was a deadly conflict and both sides were not pulling the punches. Will new generations have it in them while growing up so peacefully? Or will their training fights look more like this gif.
>>4891098>What is the Stone Mask for 500You can always learn more.
>>4891098>that risk with force lightningDamn, that sucks. I guess I'm content with explosive wave and eye beams filling the role for techniques that don't require limbs. Right now the best stuff with our force training that we can work on seems to be the meditation and sword styles.
>>4891112I still want to mash together our existing techniques and make some type of Summon Swords knockoff.Imagine if we could fight off a group of people without moving a muscle, floating Ki Blades doing all the work for us.
>>4891117It would be fun, yeahAs an aside, GD, way back when our kids defenses were sabotaged with the Hive during the war was that by one of Kano's lads? Also how is the general public's opinion on our kids. The saiyan populace and the wider universe I mean.
>>4891077>However, you have to remember that there's plenty of things that can make up for a raw PL difference in this universe that would provide a natural wake up call to any cocky Saiyans.True. Though it might be also lethal and their last experience. I think they better get some proper training instead of just hopping in completely clueless into something very dangerous.>My main concern is that an artificial survival situation might never match up to the real thingScyther showed that it can match it very well. It was very real and that is the kind of authenticity that is the goal. No point in making a Death World if it will be populated with something weak.>our death world might eventually lose it's bite as knowledge of the challenges on it spreadsOur scientists and us can continually work to improve it. Scientists will love a place where their murderous creations can really show what they can do.It will not lose it's bite if we put an effort into it and not just abandon it. Maybe even Karn will be able to train there too if we make the place good enough.By:-adding new species-analyzing the results of fights of Saiyans and the creations in the Death World-improving battle creations according to the data collected aboveThis place will only keep getting better or at least not become "too ez" to learn anything there.>if we don't learn of a better alternative when we talk to Tatsu and learn about the other stuff GD mentioned. Why not do both? Follow wise advice of Tatsu and do Death World too. We can't slack on this or else future Saiyans will become weak.
>>4891112Remember that cool thing Meloka did when she grew Ki spikes from her back like some hedgehog? Really nice technique. If only we could do this.
>>4891107Missing the most obvious modification of all. Pic quite possibly related.>>4891108Not that bad, at least while those who survived are the overwhelming majority of the population. But I was poking fun at the “seems like”. Not seems like, we know he is.>>4891112It’s channeling electricity, it can absolutely fuck up your body if it goes into the wrong places.>>4891117That is more of a Tunnip technique, speaking of...>>4891144No, his people had long been imprisoned by the Covenant by then. Remember, Arctus thought he had a lead on it. May be a side quest later in the arc...Amongst the Saiyans? Complicated. Can’t say more, as that is a potential side quest. Remember what Tatsu and Tomi were dealing with during the war?
>>4891108Consider that for us mere hoomangs there were two of the deadliest wars in history back to back and now only two or three generations separated from it everyone is a fucking sissy, yeah.It wears off really fucking quick.
>>4891157>Not that bad, at least while those who survived are the overwhelming majority of the population. However, that won’t always be the case. In a hundred years, after everyone who remembers the Siege long gone, how will the Saiyans fare without those legends?Depends. Would Berserker God/SS God extend the users lifespans? If so we can atleast do the one big duty the Divine usually fuck up and properly cultivate our peoples growths. Also Raven can probably help with that.
>>4891157>True. But I was poking fun at the “seems like”. Not seems like, we know he is.Oops. My bad. I was pic related here.
>>4891117That's something cool.
>>4891157>That is more of a Tunnip technique, speaking of...Not outside the realm of possibility for a Sith Lord either.>how will the Saiyans fare without those legends? While the Death World idea is still a good one, I figure we may as well cover hmour bases since a decline in the warrior caste will be inevitable during prolonged peace.Would Bane ever be willing to teach us how to make a Holocron?I figure future generations would benefit greatly from directly learning under Karn and his contemporaries.
>>4891145>We make a containment zone of "creative" ma-I mean sane, scientists. It should work out pretty well for our purposes.>>4891157The RHINOGD, calm down, these kids didn du nothin....
>>4891158Well, that's because a good majority of the people with the stones to go fight and die went off and did exactly that.
>>4891176>GD, calm down, these kids didn du nothin...False. Chaya fucked around, and she is now in the process of finding out.
>>4891180Leave female Bobbie's punishment out of this, she knows what she did, the rest of the kids are innocent!
>>4891157>May be a side quest later in the arc...Interesting.>>4891157>Amongst the Saiyans?I remember. When we were eating with Karn's student's and kids were there too. Students said that Karn and Meloka's kids are "different".Also Broly was treated as freak when he was really young. Remember when some kids bullied young Chaya and if I remember right they said to her something like "Can't do much without that freak protecting you". It was said about Paragus' son. Then Broly showed up, transformed into Super Saiyan, killed one of the kids. It was a long ago, I may have messed up the details.
>>4891186>Then Broly showed up, transformed into Super Saiyan, killed one of the kids.False, Broly only shattered several bones and knocked him into critical condition. It's the Wookies that dragged him off that killed him.

>>4891222>not anywhere near powerful enough for a holocronRIPI was going to post the Force Storm as an interesting technique since it fucks with space and *time* but it seemed way too far out of Karn's reach. So much of the force stuff I've read about looks like it's just for people that spend a lifetime doing nothing but focusing on Jedi/Sith shenanigans.
>>4891222>no transformation does thatI know we already made our choice but I thought you mentioned primal extending one's lifespan before

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest: >>4881487After a fierce battle against the Time Patrol, concluding in Karn managing to actually kill a version of the Supreme Kai of Time, the day was won. Karn spoke with several of his allies, but before he was able to explain why Maza’s philosophy of power being the be all and end all, Karn succumbed to the damage Vegito had delt. Then after an interesting talk with Mechikabura Karn reawakened, and after reaching out to the children not sleeping nearby snuck out of bed to get breakfast. Heading north Karn found and killed several ursine monsters, taking some slashing damage to the chest from one’s pounce but nothing too dangerous. Then Karn flew them all back to the Crimson Demon village, drawing unexpected attention along the way. And as we rejoin Karn, you’ve just blasted free of the snow to come face-to-face with a giant white dragon.“Alright you bastard.” you say, the dragon’s gaze immediately focusing solely on you as you leap out of the snow. This thing may have frozen your breakfast, and looking around see the entire village is covered in several feet of snow, but as your stomach grumbles you know what’s going to replace it. “Ruin my breakfast, asshole, and you’re replacing it.”“GWWRRRRROOOOAAAAAAARR!!” the dragon bellows at you, it’s roar a clear challenge. As if saying “This is my sky!” And you disagree with it.“HRRYAAAAA!!” you roar, clenching a fist and exploding up into your Ascended Berserker state. This beast is powerful, more powerful than anything else you’ve yet sensed native to this planet. But at your full power, it doesn’t stand a chance in a physical contest. But that just leaves one question:How do you handle this beast?>Rush and attack, brute force your way through whatever it throws your way and beat it down>Super Ki Blade and rush, decapitate this monster with your full power.>Keep your distance, avoid it’s attacks and use your own lethal ki attacks to take it down>Try the Super Energy Javelin again, see if it’ll work on this thing>Piercing Fist MkII, charge through whatever it tries throwing your way and blast straight through it’s skull>Instant Transmission behind it, and try for a sneak attack kill>Other(write in)

You plan on ending this with a single, powerful strike.“Gwrroooaarrrrrrr!” your stomach grumbles painfully, your power dipping as you wince in pain.“Tch! I better end this quick!” you say, gritting your teeth and flaring you aura back up before blasting at the dragon. “DIE!!”“GGRRRROOOOOOAAAAAAAARRR!!!!” the dragon bellows, once more blasting a cone of cold air towards you. Your charge leads you straight into the freezing blast, and despite your aura shielding you, you feel ice begin forming all over your body.“You’re gonna need more than this to stop me!” you roar, closing the last few dozen yards of distance between you. The dragon stops it’s icy breath, mouth closing then opening wide as it tries to devour you.https://youtube.com/watch?v=9TjS4vtg8MQ“What?” you say, trying to move away from it but your body won’t move. Your entire body is frozen in place, yet despite that your charge still carries you right towards it. Unfortunately for it, you don’t need your body to move. Using your flight you twist out counterclockwise, around and narrowly dodging it’s chomping bite. As the beast chomps down, you fire off an Explosive Wave. “HAAAA!”Your energy blasts out and shatters the ice, freeing you from your frozen prison and allowing you to move freely again. With no time to waste yoy raise the blade overhead, ready to end it’s life, but just before you swing see movement out of the corner of your eye. At the same time you feel your instincts kicking in, twisting towards your right to see a clawed hand slashing at you.“HAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, swinging down and severing the beast’s hand. It’s “thumb” remains intact on the hand, but your slash cuts the rest of it’s hand clean off. Steaming blood sprays, the beast recoiling in pain.“GRRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” it bellows, a noise of shock and agony as it tries flying back away from you. With a swipe of it’s wings it hits you with a torrent of powerful wind, you bracing yourself against the sudden storm. It’s wings beat two, three times as it backs away from you. “RRRRROOOOOOOAARRR!!”Clearly it’s angry, and in pain from your hit, but also seems unsure if it should attack you or simply cut it’s losses and run away. But you’re not letting it get away!cont

But you’ve had enough, dropping your right hand from blade to forehead. “I’m ending this, now!”“GWRRROOOAAAAAAAAARRR!!” the white dragon bellows, once more sending a blizzard towards you. But as it does your focus crystallizes, and activate your Instant Transmission. One moment you’re dozens of yards from the dragon, it’s wall of frozen air rushing towards you, and the next you’re behind the beast’s head. You raise your right hand back to the blade, readying to swing down and end this as the creature’s blast ends. “HAAA!!” you roar, swinging down at it’s neck. But you’d underestimated the dragon’s speed, neck snaking out around your blade. It snarls, lunging forward and trying to devour you. “RRRAAAA!!”Using the Su Ma movement you continue the momentum of your swing, flipping up and over the beast’s snapping jaws. Continuing the flip you focus and twist, lining up with it’s neck. And with the full power of your Ascended Berserker form, swing downward at the side of it’s neck.“DIIIEEEE!!” you roar, blade of energy crashing down onto the dragon’s scaly hide. But despite it’s natural armor, scales don’t do much to absorb the power of your swing. Scales fly, your blade slashing deep as the beast’s steaming blood sprays.“RRRRAAAAAAAAOOOOOO!!!” it bellows in agony, head and neck thrashing to try and escape from your blade. But you keep slashing, pushing your blade deeper and deeper until it slices clean through.“HAAAAAA!!” you roar, blood spraying as the head and body of the beast falls. And slippery, the tail immediately slipping right through your fingers! “Oh no you don’t!”Snarling you grip down harder, fingertips puncturing through the tail and giving you a much firmer grip. And while you could stop it here, it would take more effort. So instead you twist, spinning once and swinging the body off-course to send it crashing down over at the site of Chilli’s wedding. The body lands with a tremendous crash, crystal ground beneath the snow shattering under the impact. But you turn back, watching the head drop and realize you can’t make it in time. You can’t stop it!“SHYAAAA!!” you hear a familiar voice call, seeing a faint crimson glow surround the skull as it suddenly just stops. Turning towards the voice, you see the still-Golden form of Freeza holding his left hand out towards it, standing on the roof of Megumin’s folks home. He notices you, slowly lowering it in the open ground before the chief’s partly-snow buried home. “When you had claimed you were getting breakfast, this isn’t quite what I had imagined.”“Well, my kids do eat a lot.” you reply with a chuckle, seeing the confused face of the chief popping out the second story window overlooking the courtyard.“What’s all this ruck-a DRAGON?!” he shouts, clearly confused by the dragon’s head and not having heard the earlier announcement. “We’re under attack!!”“It’s all clear.” you call down, the confused elder looking up towards you.“You...You slayed the beast?!” he calls up to you, confused. “An actual white dragon?”“Yeah, it followed me from up north.” you reply, dropping down towards him. “I had brought back a few of those ursine beasts for breakfast, but it followed me I guess.”“You...Not only did you traverse the frozen wastes, but also killed a White Dragon.” he says, the shock still evident on his face. “You Saiyans are a different breed.”“I’ll take that as a compliment.” you reply. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a breakfast to cook.”Well?>Invite him and the whole village as well, this beast is many times larger than a Mindslayer so could probably feed everyone>Don’t invite the villagers, but don’t deny anyone who comes down a generous helping of Dragon as well

I’m not quite in the mood myself.” he replies, you shrugging and flying down to the site of yesterday’s battle. Landing beside the giant beast’s corpse, you create your blade and again get to work. It takes you maybe half an hour’s work preparing the dragon, slicing off limbs and impaling them on Chilli’s crystal pillars before lighting each ablaze with your ki, but when all’s said and done, your breakfast smells absolutely delicious. Your own mouth was watering, you biting chunks out of the severed tail to keep your appetite in check while preparing the rest. But once it’s ready, there’s clearly enough meat for the entire village and then some.KABOOOOMSuddenly there is a tremendous impact a short distance away, you whirling around to see what the hell else is gunning for your breakfast. No way!” Megumin shouts, pointing at the steaming pile of miscellaneous dragon organs and the skin, much of it with the scales still on. “The village was attacked by a white dragon?! And I missed it?!!”“Dad, are you okay?” Chilli asks you, suddenly concerned. Remembering the scratches that bear gave you you wave him off, and answer.“All good.” you reply, taking another bite out of the tail and gesturing for them to come over. “You two hungry?”Chilli flies over, Megumin still clearly shaken but both of them begin eating. Not even a minute later Meloka arrives with the kids, Caulifla actually drooling at the smell. You serve up each of your kids and wife, and sit down with them all to eat as well. A few minutes later the villagers begin arriving as well in ones and twos, and soon the entire Crimson Demon village has come on down to eat as well. This time the meal goes off without a hitch, no other beings showing up to ruin things for your family. And after eating until you can’t take another bite, Megumin’s father Hyoizaburoo approaches you.cont

If it can be of help to you all, then by all means. I can trust you to split it out, right?”“Of course. I’ll give everything out, and make sure anything valuable does not go to waste.” he says seriously, nodding to you. “Such a kingly gift will not be wasted.”“Are parts of dragons really that valuable for crafting magical items?” Chilli asks him.“Of course.” he answered his son-in-law. “Dragon bones are seeped in magic. And judging from the size of this one, it was at least two hundred years old. Being imbued with draconic magic for that long makes all the parts of this creature excellent material for crafting. Dragon bones, scales, magic organs, claws, eyes, every part is exceptionally powerful. If you want, you can stay with us for the next week or so? “I have several questions.” you say, still a bit overwhelmed. “First one though: apparently the other Demon God, Dumplin, knew a version of me. Not me, but from another timeline. Apparently I was strong, strong enough to make that damn kai erase him. Do you know anything about that version of me?”“Sadly I don’t. Or rather, I know less than you probably want to know.” he starts, you now sitting across from him now that you’ve decided to open up a bit. “But I do know that, much like yourself, that version of yourself was able to break free of the bonds of fate. Which is, undoubtedly, why he was erased.”“Hrmm, there are a few different paths laid out for you to grow stronger.” he says, stroking his short beard. “As a Saiyan, of course, you still have many stronger transformations to unlock and master. Not to mention mastering divine ki, as that other Karn seems to have.”“Wait, he could use divine ki?” you ask him. “So he was a Super Saiyan God then?”“Not quite.” Mechikabura says, again holding out the dark orb. You peer into it, seeing another version of yourself facing a ridiculously buff Grey in red and black tights in a strange arena. And while your hair looks like Super Saiyan 3’s, the color isn’t quite right. It isn’t golden like Meloka’s, and not quite green like your own version you’d tapped into against Vegeta. But this version seems more of a blue-green, contrasting sharply against the Grey’s blazing, sun-like aura. “I saw this battle myself, long before this new reality existed. You can become one of the strongest mortals in all universes, Karn. But that’s only one path. You could take it’s opposite, and travel the path your daughter took. Or learn the secrets that old spectre knows, and use the old ways to defeat your foes. And let’s not forget you.”That Interlude of Karn being a Berserker God in the ToP? I think that was DUMPLINS Karn. Hell....I think that might have been US, because BOTH Karns managed to break freak of the chain of fate, and it even lines up with how Dumplin called us 'the real deal' and Mechi's interest in me.I think Chrona rewound that entire timeline to its Pre Divergence Point to try and figure out what went wrong and we're the result.
>>4892733Is this supposed to be a write in?

>>4892642“It’s about time we all head home as well.” you say, turning to see the rest of your family gathered up and ready to go. So you reach out telepathically to Raven, current Guardian of New Salda and let her know. “Hey Raven, we’re about ready to head back. Mind making us a way home?”“Of course. I’ll ready the portal.” she responds. “How’d everything with the wedding go?”“I’ll tell you when I get back.” you say, suppressing a sigh. “It’s kind of a long story.”“I understand.” she replies, then reaches out. “Mind if I borrow your eyes?”“Huh? I mean, sure?” you reply, and suddenly can’t see. Opening your eyes, you find yourself back on the beach. But looking down, realize that this isn’t your body. Somehow, you’re seeing through Raven’s eyes instead of your own!“Zinthos.” she speaks, raising her right hand. You feel your own right raise as well, and watch as a portal appears before you. You see yourself standing there, which isn’t as bizarre as it sounds considering how many times it’s already happened. You notice the slashes the ursine creature gave you, bloody cuts already dried thanks to the cold, but what gets you is that your eyes aren’t your own. In place of your own eyes are Raven’s. She then blinks, which forces you to blink as well, and suddenly you’re back in your own body.“Woah. That was...wierd.” you say, shaking your head. The younger kids all rush over to her excitedly, and start telling her about everything. Meanwhile Broly walks off a short distance, transforming and taking his meditative pose to focus on controlling his Berserker anger. After a few minutes of listening Raven then gets them all to start practicing, you then reaching out telepathically and quickly explain everything that happened since you left. The demons looking for Towa, the Time Patrol, and even the dragon, you tell her about everything.“Seems like you have had a busy day.” she says when you finish up. “Heading off to get started on your own training as well?”“That’s the plan.” you tell her. “Today I’m going to try-“Well? What will you do?>Work on your ki control, and try to get up to using three Warding Eyes at once>Focus on what you’d done before, and try seeing into the future again>Use your Energy Body, and have Meloka keep attacking it to see how long you can maintain it>Focus on trying to sense everything’s energy at once, using New Salda’s help when needed>Other?(write in: explain your training and the resulting ability you’d like to gain. CAN BE VETOED)(Note: this is NOT an everyday practice option vote. These are for unlocking the different passives you’ll be able to train up into using later)
