You are Kolinasi, Keiko Whatiri. Your a warchief and bigman of the isles, who has successfully fought the Ganth and Drukhari, You have fought great sea monsters. You have discovered underwater cities, discovered wonders of technology, communicated with the machine spirit and formed great alliances for your people, all in a very short time. Your call to the knight house, has found an ancient ally willing to help in your cause.

In your work to fight the Ganth, you have been the first warchief to set foot on another planet. On this planet you were able to discover something you knew you had, but never knew you would meet. Your 'Brother' Angron, a great gladiator and powerful warrior. You also learned along the way on the route to this planet that one member of your Honor Guard, Yana, is the sister you never got to meet.

On this warpath you have helped Angron liberate the primary city in the short time you arrived due to strategic use of the unique weapons on your void craft- 'Something Fierce' and popular backing by the common folk. In your investigation of the barracks you were able to find more information on the Ganth, but you chased down a group of generals that were using one as host.

You were able to utilize a the very electricity in the air around you to disrupt the mana of the devices, creating an electromagnetic pulse. The gambit slayed your opponent, liberating an actual man of iron from enslavement.

Now the two of you are exploring the manufactorum which created great and terrible implants.

"You have any idea what is in here?" You ask the Man of Iron

" From what information I have absorbed, and what I have learned from the General, This is a manufactorum of the implants that they use, or at least the baseline ones. There is also one small warp craft in here, but I am unsure of the location." It says to you.

"I feel we should look around a bit before my first mate gets here." You say.

" Is that the 'old man' we spoke with? They would make a fine officer." It says activating a small lift for some stairs.

"No. That would be Jerah. Speaking of." You activate the comms device.

"Jera head to the mountain, I picked up a new friend, they are going to be joining us." You say

"Well I hope it's more than just another fighter, because the fierce needs another engineer. Little Nasi got sick and honestly we can have you be doing the engineering all the time." Jerah says and UR-749-k's emotive feature on the helmet, actually works! It displays a sign of, what looks to be either confusion, snark, or disbelief.

" I am a capable engineer, though my body has been badly damaged so I have to use a specialized armor to maintain me. I am Pygmallius Technius Arturius" It says.

"And I thought Kolinasi's name was a mouthful! Well, welcome to the crew of the Something Fierce! We'll be happy to have you aboard once I get there." Jerah says.

"Something Fierce?" UR asks.

"You are supposed to name a ship like that something fierce." You say. And UR begins to laugh and his emotive is of actual amusement.

"I see that the old ways of ship naming are still alive. I was afraid I would awake to a world where every ship was named something overly dramatic like 'reasons litnay' or 'vengeful fury' or 'truth's razor'. What a boring galaxy that would be. My favorite flagship name was 'It's one of ours' that one was a classic. UR says and you chuckle.

"I wouldn't name a ship too seriously. I don't know what Jerah is gonna name his personal ship though." You say as the pair of you get to the top of the lift and find a catwalk that leads to a set of panels and controls, near an actual honest to goodness readout monitor, one of the first you seen in a long time.

"Your next ship, if it's bigger, name it something even more fierce. If it's smaller, tiny but fierce. If it's a weird test bed or unique, something different. It's important for a fleet of ships to stick to the pattern. It's also something that will annoy most void admirals. Hmm. This readout. I see. This is the STC for various implants, though, it looks like the data here is different then the result. This STC has been twisted somehow. Also there is the ship mentioned." UR points with one of it's other hands as it uses the rest to go over the 'STC' rapidly.
>>
>>4941495
'The Ship' is bigger than a fighter, and around the size of your sub, but it looks weird. It has all sorts of strange weapons on it and it looks like it is not meant to carry much.

"I haven't seen many ships, but that one looks a bit different." You say.

"Something different it is. What have you not seen a Pocket Corvette before? That one is human, older one. Looks like it needs repairs. Small warp craft are incredibly hard to find, ones like that even more so. Micro Gellar fields and Micro Warp Drives were one of the crowning achievements of the ages past. Space travel accessible at warp speeds to anyone. Granted, the micro drives were often finicky and troublesome, but that's the price of innovation." UR Says as you approach it, and you begin singing, albeit a bit quietly, of the song you are making for your brother.

"Wait. What are you doing? Stop that!" UR says and you stop singing, it then looks directly at you, and it's emotive interface is indicating confusion.

"What was that?"

"I was singing, surely men of iron have heard that before?" You say.

"No, that is not singing, when humans sing it is grating, and an assault on auditory sensors. That was incredibly pleasant and haunting, and it stimulated the machine spirits, in fact they were working as if they were overclocked, but not harming them. It helped them work. Which is really good considering how these machines are worked. If you could continue it would be helpful for me to understand this STC a bit better." UR states

"I will, but we need to move quick, and I may try to capture this ship." You say

"Captain, it will take us about 5 minutes for us to be there, but we still need to make a supply run and will probably need medicines for some of the crew."

"Is the revolution looking good though?"

"So far. Angron was able to get through to the child soldiers, but Frank, Deliah, Your Uncle and Cousin, and your shoal stoat have been having quite the fight behind that wall." Jerah responds.

"What of lancer?" You ask

"He honestly could just break the wall and charge on in, but there seem to be some gun turrets that were not harmed by the lightning." Jerah says

"It will take but a few more moments for me to finish here.

What do you do now? You only have time for one.

I'm curious how the Old Man and his immortality machine looks like.

Also I like UR already, joke and pun names are essentual for morale. Still think we should name at least one of our ships The Temerity when we meet our sons, if only to get Arnoyl to open up.

"Jera, instruct lancer to assist the fight." You say

"Tell him yourself Cap he is on the comms wide band." Jera responds.

"I'm on it." Lancer responds. As you look about you.

"I am going to do a bit more exploring around here friend." You say

"I am fine with that, if you think you are fast enough. So long as you keep these ones pleased with your singing I will be done here. And I will assist with other matters." UR says and you hum the pieces to your song for angron,

"Come out ya cowards and face me like a man, you think your safe now because you turned an ran" You hum as you look around at the various machinery near the catwalk you stand upon. Most of it, you can feel the pain of the machines.

Generations of misuse, and neglect.

"Oh brother dearest brother, whom I've never met, What adventures await us I know not yet."

You scale down the ladder to what is a giant machine rusting away and you spy an ancient power source that is all but glowing, and you already know it's probably radioactive.

" When I meet you brother I can guarantee, I will show you new worlds and my family." You say a little louder as you begin to study the machine closer and find, to your surprise, a data jack that matches with your tablet.

You study the machine for a few minutes and go over the data inside.

The machine, is not like the rest of the manufactorum, It's a large scale data bank, and it goes over most of the information. It seems like this is the primary databank for the planet.

"Umm, Pygmallius? I have found yet another object of interest." You let out loudly.

"Oh? What on earth could it be? As the generals didn't really know too much about the true purpose of here, only some sorry fat man who smell weird was in charge of it. To think, these fools thought that great warriors didn't need to also be intellectuals."

"From what my data slate is telling me, this is the planets primary databank."

"A data bank of that size for a planet like this? Quite odd. Then the level of technical advancement is incredibly niche and focused. To be fair, it looks like most of it was bartered. That was something I was afraid of." UR says

"What do you mean?" You ask.
>>
>>4942350

"The decline of those whose origin was terran and the sol system. Think about it. Look at that ship there. With the technology here, that could solve much of the planets problems, just a little bit of minor adjustments. Yet here this planet is. Half the population lives in squalor, there are many more gladiators then scholars and scientists. May more pikeman than your armored lancer. And I haven't seen a single Automata." UR states and casually hops down to the ground floor.

"Do you feel that this planet can be salvaged." You ask

"Well, maybe. I sense many different challenges to it, but it is by no means impossible. Now this, you are perfectly correct. That is a very unusual database."

"Captain we are a minute out, is there anything you plan to bring aboard besides the your new friend?" Jera asks as you look at a little button that says hangar bay open and press it, causing what looks like part of the mountain to then shake.

Also, was the fat man the one if the slaves? He said his family was the one dealing with implants, and this is the implant manufactury.
Can we check to see if there are any explosives or programs tied to a deadman switch on the databank before leaving? I don't trust the High Riders to not throw a tantrum when losing and destroy all this knowledge and technology.

"Jera, there is a huge databank. We may need some help loading it." You say.

"You saying those words, worries me. I seen you load a whole cannon cap." Jera says.

"Well, it isn't amount me loading it on with how strong I am or how equipped our new friend is. It's more about it being significantly taller than me and I am unable to see behind it. I would take the ship, but I feel that a unique space craft should be reserved for Angron and this planet. I haven't seen another, so it's important they have their own ship." You say.

[ "That is an interesting choice."

"I am not going to let a people yearning to be free lose their one shot at the stars." You say and URs emotive changes a bit, it looks, pleased.

"Captain, that's great an all, but we are going to be pushing for time here. In a big way. Anything you got that can help us I suggest you get it. Those ships on the edge of the system may have gotten a signal. They seem to be moving, and I cannot for the life of me tell were." Jera says. Damn it. The big issue would be the other ships and if they came to hunt, you could beat them in an unfair fight where you have the advantage, but if they were to seek you out- it would be over. You sigh.

"Frank how we looking?" You ask over the radio.

"Oh we should be fine here in a second the big ass knight lancer is mopping up the big monstrosities however we are still doing our business over here of dealing with things that can cause signals weapons that they have. Did you know they have Rak Gol?" Frank says in a tone implying a good deal of stress.

"Ya. They are nasty aint they."

"Just a little bit. Also they had it with nails and a collar. You have no idea how good with a rifle I am do you?" Frank asks

"Well if you can shoot one of those things, I imagine ya the best I know." At least that you know. You have been meaning to practice the rifle more. Mostly you work with your axe weapon and other more melee focused weapons.

"That, means a lot Kolinasi thank you." Frank says less stressed as you hear a shot. The doors of the mountain, a strange thing you never really considered, open up and reveal Rongo and Jera

"Well Jera I didn't expect you to come off the deck." You say

"Captain, I would be a sorry first mate and Quartermaster if I didn't help. Yikes! You gonna lift that?" Jera asks as you step over and lift the thing up. It is, without a doubt, the singular heaviest thing you have ever carried in your life.

"Pygmallius a bit o help mate?" You say

" Of course. UR says and assists you in lifting the heavy database. It doesn't take log to get it on to the ship.

"This is a very nice ship." UR states.

OK. So before we get back to story, I am just going to go over some background things that are going to be relevant and important background.

1. We have just gotten past page 250 in pages on my huge word document- and we are at a point story wise that would normally not be until the 750 page mark. So we are moving at quite the pace. This will be reflected in an upcoming chapter, but it won't be for a little while.

2. If you have noticed, and I assume many have- De'lormosa has a lot of technology, and we have encountered a lot of really advanced archeotech. This is partially due to the route taken, and the fact Hershk and De'lormosa were almost tied and I came with a compromise. As a result, you have a lot of the tech, and you are going to be dealing with some of the Hershk baddies - eventually.

3. Between Chapters 7 and 8 there will likely be a small break and gap, this will be for my 3 weeks of vacation which I will sorely need averaging about 69 hours a week with a 7 day work week.

4. Malal has brought up a holiday event, I am all for that, he and I would have to find a means to communicate, and a way to do the thread and plan some writing for it. So know that I want it- and if possible I will try to make it happen. This brings me to my last point.

5. My new job processing is going faster than I thought it might. I don't have a start date yet, but that is just the nature of the type of career path I have chosen, this process normally is glacially paced, but now- it is not. Things are going faster and I may start sooner than I thought. This is going to be very good for this because it will actually mean that my schedule will be more normalized and I will have better time posting. This is, if everything continues to go well, which I hope it does.

We are speedrunning the story, now we just need to BLJ to the Eye of Terror and kill Chaos.
In all seriously, yeah, I feel like after we return from Olynpia we need to do a lot of reestructuring and investigating De'Lormosa that we skipped over by getting distracted by shiny things, before it comes back and bite us on our ass because of it.
Mittens reminds me that I need to do Boots and Erihapet sometime, and that reminds me to rewrite the deldar kabal.

"That is some, pretty sweet armor you got there mate." Jera says to UR

"Thank you. It's really useful." As you go to the deck, you notice that UR is carefully studying the entirety of the deck and ships layout. As you get up to the bridge you see UR scrabble over, and most of the crew looks at this oddly.

"Bring us to the action, we need to be close for this. Can you bring up the scanner to see what the ships are doing?" You ask.

"Aye Cap." Jera says and the display shows the ships, coming to a formation at the edge of the system, like they are scrambling. They seem to be facing towards Nuceria, however there are other planets nearby. This could be tricky. You look at Jera

"How much do we need in the way of supplies?" You ask.

"Unchanged. We would need a good deal for food and fresh water because I know for a fact you do not want to dig into the canned rations before going to an unknown like Olypmia." Jera says. He's right. You snort a little air out angrily. If these ships come in, you are sunk.

"Can they detect us?" You ask and your astropath looks over and shakes her head.

"Our electronic set is better than theirs. I can sort of detect their astropaths, they seem to be a bit confused." She says.

"What would be the best course of action that you would recommend?" You ask, as this is a troubling scenario.

"We can either face them or honestly if we stay in atmosphere until we know what they are doing for sure." She says.

"Frank, we are going to probably park the ship in the docks. How are things down there?" You ask.

"Oh, you know. Rich people with monsters." Frank says and you hear gunfire.

"Your cousin is very skilled by the way. She would make one hell of an operator." Frank says.

"If you are flirting with my daughter Frank, just know that will be ten goats, unless she is insulted." Your uncle Kai says.

"I am insulted. I am a hell of an operator thank you." Arona says and you hear a very loud explosion over the radio.

"Then that is twenty goats frank. We only want dairy. We will also accept 15 big pedigree pigs." Your Uncle Kai says.

"Kolinasi, your the captain, tell your uncle I don't have goats." Frank says

"Well then you better find 15 big pedigree pigs frank you know how Moka works." You say.

"Well that shouldn't be too hard. However, we have a slightly bigger problem." Frank says as you manuver the ship as low as you can to keep it off interstellar scans.

"Oh?" You say, knowing frank is not easily scared.

"This area is clear, but there is definitely a secondary bunker somewhere. And some of this information I keep finding, It looks bad. There is something else going on here." Frank says.

"Send me the information. Anyone got eyes on Angron?" You ask.

"I do. And the gate is open. They are walking through." Lancer states

"Good keep on him. Meera have you found anything else?" You ask,

"Aye. There is more than I can go over on the radio. I got a whole trove of data." Meera says.

You get near the front, and now it's time to make some more serious decisions.

Should cover all of our bases, going after the other bunker, this time probably for the actual High Riders instead of a military junta, making sure that any data Meera has is safe, and keeping an eye on the weird movement, just in case the Ganth are also fleeing like they did in De'Lormosa

>>4946609
I go by the official Alpharius fluff. Emperor has already found 'Alpharius' but nobody has yet found Omegon. IF you guys continue down this path, I mean, it isn't impossible to find the other twin It is however, incredibly unlikely. But if you have been following along the Ganth Migration boundaries and read Alpharius it is doable. Highly unlikely. That being said the chances of getting to Angron BEFORE nails, were at a whopping .78125% or better as 1/128 odds to do, however you guys got the crazier variant of that one which was at a much more hilarious 1/256. None of this would have been possible without certain write ins, certain decisions made including one in the first chapter. I find it highly amusing.

>> "Gela, do some scouting around, see if you can keep eyes on what the ships may do and keep ready in case you need to do things."
>>
>>4947020
Not really. The compromise isn't that hard to write. I account for this stuff.

"Gela scout ahead! See what we are up against and do some light scanning and scout work, see what those ships are up to while we are down here. If anything looks off inform me as quick as you can. Meera, get ready to bring up all them books and info you found."

"Aye!" They both say simultaneously.

You begin to steer the ship and you think you have an incredibly good spot to land it to help out Frank, Your Uncle, Arona, Deliah, and your beloved shoal stoat.

You use the fierce as a bit of a shield, which is fairly massive considering the area while giving them some cover. As you begin to do the landing procedures you look to Jera

"When we are done here we will likely have to move on for supplies fast. If you can do some planet scans for a good supply run, it will make this a lot easier." You tell Jera

"UR... Pygmallius! You are with me, you are probably are best clue to dealing with some of the electric based issues on this planet, and why the other ships are mustering." You quickly cover your tracks and UR nods. You and him quickly get to the offloading area where you dive head first into the combat that Frank has been seeing.

Which is unsurprisingly, mutants and xenos. They seem to be swarming from small structures that raise up around a gate, however the something fierce has blocked off one route, which has funneled them all to the waiting lancer, who is probably having a much easier go.

You take a quick scan and see the biggest issue, which is the Rak Gol, or whatever it is called trying to scale the small building that is Frank's sniper nest. So you rush up and swipe it away with your axe.

"THANKS. I HAVE WORSE THINGS TO SHOOT AT, YOU HANDLE THAT." Frank says very loudly, which is barely able to get over the strange vocalizations of the Rak Gol. This one, is different. It's black and it's implants are, a bit more advanced. There are many weapons on it, and it looks like there is some sort of menacing fluid coming off what look like chain swords. It's mouth opens disgustingly wide to reveal its sharp teeth as it comes at you.

It's faster than the Drukhari.

It slashes at you with animistic instinct and killing hateful intent that gleams some level of intellect as you block a few of it's attacks, as it's body is in a constant motion. You kick it back and press back it's attack, which is a bit of work. The being moves angrily at you. You aren't able to get a solid hit, with its many cybernetic limbs made out of strong material, and it's movement being incredibly erratic to shoot at.

You wanted to learn more about combat, you just didn't imagine it would smell so terrible. The being smelled like rotting Durian and Death.

It's attacks, being constantly parried and knocked back have effectively flustered it, to the point you have discovered one of it's other implants as it's strange eye feature fires a laser beam missing you, but doing damage to Frank's sniper nest.

Another implant fires a baleful beam of green light at you, utterly destroying the a small wood pile next to the guard shack.

It has a disintegration weapon too. Fantastic.

Plan of attack?

>> Draw it in close. try to cut off more of it's limbs and those fancy implants. You have never seen a laser eye before.

>> Range it. Just draw it away from the structure, where it's reckless shooting can damage the other mutants and xenos that are fighting.

"Legion Master De'Saan! I bring good tidings and intelligence that is of great import!" Wing Commander Takahara, whom was one of the many Terra Watt clan members who had become members of the legion was as always terse, but polite.

"Wing Commander, the intelligence first."

"We have found a clear way towards Ultima Segmentum, one that our scouts could probably get in and pave a way for us. It is a risky path though, and it would require us to deploy certain elements oddly. Frankly it's better if I show you." He says and raises a galactic display disc and shows, the highly unorthodox route.

"That, would provide a very valuable staging area for us. We still have much to do here first brother." You say and he nods.

"This leads me to the good tidings! The Emperor has found his seventh primarch!" Takahara says and you are taken a bit back. You remember when Horus was discovered! There was a brief time period when you thought there would be no discoveries besides Horus Lupercal, and maybe that Leman Russ. Then the third primarch found was the leader of the second. And So far they have pushed hard and, while with questionable techniques and attitudes, the Golden Eyed giant had proven himself to your legions and others. Then Came Ferrus and Fulgrim, and then the outgoing Vulkan of the Salamanders. Now, the seventh primarch.

"Which legion does this primarch call his? I dare say it's not ours as while we tend to operate independently we do not operate that outside the sphere." You say.

"Oddly enough Rogal Dorn is the Primarch of the Seventh Legion. So the Seventh Son was the Seventh found." Takahara says.

"If only the Second were found second instead of leman russ, this would be a lot easier." You say and he laughs.

"I hope we find ours soon. Can you guess what they'll be like? With our legion I imagine that he would be at least be brave and good grasp of tactics." Takahara says.

"I honestly would like that too. So, this path, to Ultima, you think we could send some scouts ahead like how the Star Hunters do and we could potentially make for a good route in. It looks a bit dubious, yet, we are the eleventh." You say.

"Legion Master it is your call."

Speed actually isnt a power technically he is just one of the fastest primarchs. You gotta look at space marine and primarch biology. Kolinasi is within upper range of primarch speeds.

However, the rest are all connected, including the swimming, and there is a funny joke in it too if you realize it.

>>
>>4947745
Kolinasi wins everything In a surfing competition.
But it depends, do you mean in a straight up duel? Our boy has been way more of a leader and scientist than a grand warrior so far, he probably is a bit above guilliman in power level, since his combat abilities so far have been situational (a underwater fight and sky duel) or mainly cerimonial (probably fought a lot with the other islanders).
Although this trip to Nuceria and Olympia might make him stronger.
>>
>>4947754
His Technopathy really tilts the scales in his favor unless it is a unarmed/unarmored fight
>>
>>4947849
That's is also a bit situational, tgere is only so much you can do to ask your power armour and weapon to work harder and your opponent to work less, specially if they bother to properly mantain it.
I would say that Kolinasi is kinda of a specialist primarch, around average on a normal conflinct, but as you start stacking advantanges, he becomes unstopable.
>>
>>4947754
Maybe once things are more settled and everyone's had a chance to get to know each other, the brothers can have a 1vs1vs1 match to practice and learn and bond.

You decide to pull him away and range him. You move away rapidly and the being is able to keep up with you, but it is moving parallel to you. Your speed is still impressive, but it also moves, but it feels wrong. Something is off with this being. However, it stays on a line with you, firing wildly.

Good.

You fire at it, and you realize that you are not missing, but it has some sort of field, similar to the Knight, that is blocking your energy blasts from going through.

However, it's shooting at you, is laughable. It hits the beasts that are closeby that are attempting to cause damage to the nearby structures. It get's worse when it hits the beasts as it becomes angry.

It's firing is pathetic even. As you move around to create more distance you are starting to notice something.

You can anticipate it's movement through the electrical fields created by it's gear. You haven't really paid attention to it- but with all the implants on it, you are able to sense where it moves and move accordingly, before it does.

Which is good, because the freakish monster is able to move fast. Not as fast as you, but it is dangerous and it's movements are erratic, even though you know where it is moving.

So you mirror it's movements and try to phase it or freak it out, and while it is having even more trouble as you dance around it like Sword Sharks hunting, it still seems undeterred.

You hop past a rock and pick it up to test a theory, and throw the rock at the beast, and it hits.

The rock actually hits the beast, granted you threw it hard and fast, but it got through the shield. So you look for a kinetic pistol.

There are a few on the ground, and you are able to pick one up while still laying down suppressive fire.

You then fire with the kinetic pistol, and the projectile is deflected off.

So the factor is speed to it's shield. Unless you are up close within the barrier of the shield and fire, or you throw a grenade, you are going to do zero damage to this beast.

Kolinasi is still developing, and he only has had his villages fighting training, which is really just kind of like Muay Thai with some weapons training for axes and he 'plinks' with various rifles. Sure he has naturally primarch combat skills, but he hasn't been focused on that. Yet.

Also, have creepy fight music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlopkkVSKB8
__

You lob an EMP grenade on to the Rak Gol, and upon contact it goes off, causing various attachments to fall off the Rak Gol. There is briefest silence then a loud yet very grating roar coming from beyond the nearby final wall.

Then you realize something. It stops what it is doing, then stretches and tests it's weapons that were meant for stabbing and slashing.

It then starts making popping noises with it's bones then it pauses to crack it's hands and neck.

Then it makes a strange sound that can only be described as manic chittering.

It is right in front of you faster than you can draw on it.

Apparently the electronics had some limiting or control on it.

You block and parry, but it is able to easily keep up with you attacking at full speed. It looks like it is able to do so with difficulty, but it seems to be matching you.

Fortunately, it isn't as strong as you are able to push it back and knock it back.

Its cuts are vicious, and they graze you. Which is still going to leave nasty scares. Hopefully, whatever venom or poison isn't fatal, but from the look it could just be chain fluid.

This thing, became deadlier and angrier after you freed it, however at least it is eschewing the guns and is only trying to tear you limb from limb. You hear the loud grating roar again, coming from elsewhere behind the wall.

As it attacks you, you manage to cut off an arm, which doesn't bother it.

It does give you enough space to disintegrate it though.

"Great work! We are rallying from here, but there is one big nasty you have to work on yet." You hear Frank say.
__
>>
>>4948314

"What could be worse than that?" You ask as you hear more of the loud and grating roaring.

"Well, that would be The bigger one naturally. Your friend in the advanced armor has one of those huge Orks tied up. Then there is whatever is left that is still in holding that is making all of that roaring noise." Frank says.

"Where did the Ganth get all these?" You ask stunned as you see the being that is a good 4 meters tall with two huge wicked chain weapons for arms, and two tinier arms holding what look like flamer weapons, and all the cybernetics of the last one.

"They have a far out trade region, where they supposedly get a lot of chattel, and I guess this may be it." Frank says.

It sees you and it licks it's lips as it barrels towards you in a quick yet almost drunken like motion. Throwing itself at you completely. You can sense this isn't going to be simple fighting, as it seems to be one with it's augments and shows a higher level of skill in it's motion.

>> Hellfire Grenade. Now. There is more important things to do than fight these Monsters.

>> Charge at it. Slice off the head or cleave off as much of it as you can.

>> Have frank lay down some cover fire, or Jera for that matter.

>> Lay down a few suppressive shots at it, force it to react to you, get it on the defensive.

>> Steal the electricity from it's machines, and turn it's own mana against it. This is hard, and seems wrong, but this thing could theoretically kill you.

>> Use your axe in combination with the chainsword off the fallen Rak Gol, try to utilize what you can to give UR time to finish off the Huge Ork.

I can envision his evolving style making use of things like spear/taiaha to be aggressive and use a lot of deflections/redirections and swift punishing counters, and like those neato glaives we can have built-in firing mechanisms. A digi-beam, disintegrator, or maybe even Kolinasi's own channeled electricity cast out like lightning.

In the case of his axe though, it seems like a perfectly valid strategy would be use it in concert with a second weapon (like one of those archeo blasters we found, or maybe a power hammer/club) and systematically break down the enemies defenses before going in for the kill with blinding speed while they're trying to recover.

Definitely want to see him spar with Angron and Perturbo. Hell, I'm sure Oenamaus and the other veteran gladiators could be excellent instructors, with years of experience against a wide variety of foes both bestial and intelligent.

It's worth remembering that the Rak'gol, for all that they're brutal and monstrous, are not stupid. Lobbing a grenade right into it's face is more likely to see it swat towards our allies. Or, y'know, just light the big angry monster on fire and make the fight even harder.
>> Use one or two of your grenades to throw up a smokescreen of dust. With that distraction and your sixth sense, you can press the advantage while the monster rages.

The general rule of thumb is that size and cybernetics/weaponry will tell you who is in charge among the Rak'gol. You hate suffering. You hate seeing creatures suffer. There is no joy watching anything in this amount of pain, even as cruel as this beast is. It is swinging at you wildly, as the pain it must be in, seems to be causing it to not only lose it's sanity. It's swipes are frantic, and while your body dodges it instinctively, it shouldn't have to.

You make a quick feint so that the beast reveals it's head and you strike it in the skull quickly with your axe bringing the beast to the ground. The beast lets out a death rattle and it's body twitches then stops.

You look at the material, and it would make a fine material for a harness or collar for Erhapti, and the two skulls you see would make fine pauldrons.

But the roaring. It's louder now. Much louder.

You look over to UR who has killed the last ork, and the vox squawks.

"Cap I am takin off, Angron and his boys are right behind you. And you turn to see behind you as the ship rises a decent sized army of common folk, gladiators, some soldiers and many others as Lancer comes to line by the army and Angron walks up next to you to once again trade grips.

"Alright, this is the last estate in the city, when this is taken, the rest of the region will probably fall into line. The rest of the world will likely be on Angron and Cinncinatus though." You hear frank say as you see him scurry out of his tower.

You and Angron walk to the gate together, and as you look at him he nods, as the pair of you open the doors.

Then you see the roaring.

It's a Rak Gol the size of a house with great weapons. In Chains. On the ground a man, probably a high rider, maybe a servant, on the ground drowning in their own blood, as you can see it got too close to the chained beast. It tries to take a swing at you, and it misses as it is just out of range. Lancer comes in.

"Shall I kill it?" Lancer asks.

"You'd be the only thing that could." You say aloud, and then you hear slow applause as a man comes around an upper corner. The being is cloaked in white and grey. His hair is the same dark color as yours, his eyes a bright blue. A laurel crown is on his head.

"Oh what a fight that would be." he says.

"The perfect end to all this, the brave usurpers and their lone knight versus the evil tyrant and his enslaved Elder Rak Gol Behemoth! Not one, but two! TWO! Demigods to witness this event." The man says

"And for you? What do you get?" Angron asks.
===.
>>
>>4950771

"Oh, me? I get to watch. And the blood. It is given freely to my patron! As he doesn't care where the blood comes from, but that it comes. Oh sure, many of his followers are stupid and blood thirsty creatures. As that is the territory! War. Blood. There will always be conflict in this galaxy until total peace is achieved, through the perfection of Martial Conflict! And yet even Gods may die from being so heavily sated! But not for a very long time. Eventually all things must pass, but I can end it all on his terms, my terms. But- his plan, the plan for Angron. Oh it's not going well." He says slowly coming down the stairs with what looks like a giant key. It's odd. The Rak Gol doesn't seem to want to attack him. Also, he doesn't seem afraid of either of you.

"You see, I knew you wouldn't kill Oenomaus. No, you and him were too close. That would be the perfect excuse to put the nails in you. Then you would slay him. Then, after that, well things would go as they were supposed to. Sure you'd rebel a few times, then eventually you'd kill me, I'd die a glorious death, then you would have an incredibly miserable fated existence slowly dying. BUT SOME OFF WORLDER CAME IN AND RUINED THE GRAND GAME. IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS! DO YOU KNOW HOW EXPENSIVE A RAK'GOL IS? YOU CAN BUY A VOID SHIP FOR THE SMALL AMOUNT I PURCHASED." He shouts at you in particular, pointing at you.

"But, you see, I have a chance to fix all this, and end this now. All I have to do, is get you to leave, right now. And I can do that." He says snapping his finger as two guards bring from the shadows Arona, your cousin.

"You see she wandered in too close and we were able to do the same tactic you used with us, and disable her communications as she did it. So basically I feel I have a- " And you see both guards heads turn into a red mist as Arona quickly wheels towards the neck of the man with her knife.

"You think that worked Frank?" She says as it comes through the comms secondary channel

"Oh it worked better than I thought." Frank says.

"Shall I kill him cousin? Or should he be tried with the rest of the scum?" Your cousin asks and you look at Angron.

"It's still your planet, while I got you into this mess rescuing you and trying to liberate it, it is up to you and Cinncinatus. You know were my opinions are." you say to Angron. Angron then looks at this man.

"How do you know all this?" He asks

"I have been gifted to see beyond sight, as all greats of my family have. Our family has shaped our society to offer tribute to the four, in secret, as it can't be too obvious. The gods that are celebrated in the arena, all hidden servants of the four. They told us of your arrival, and our eventual destruction! But they told us of our eventual triumph, but things changed! Two unseen interlopers, and one of them worked their way here, as if they could change the game this time as if history wouldn't repeat itself. Truly it hasn't, yet Angron, have you asked Kolinasi what is in his pack?" The man says and you shrug and turn out your bag. Out comes multiple of the implants, your data pad, some medicine, some grenades and weapons, your notes, treats for Erihapti and various tools. Angron looks at the implants.

"Brother, why do you have those?" He asks of the implants.

"I wanted to see, what makes them work. In case they were put in you, or if they can be fixed. The mana and machine spirit inside them, something is wrong and I feel it needs to be corrected." You say

"LIAR! HE WANTS THEIR POWER FOR HIMSELF!" The man says.

"HA!" Arona lets out

"Whenever Kolinasi fibs his left eye does this stupid twitchy thing." She says.

"What?" The man asks

"No I don't." You say, and your left eyelid and brow do not involuntarily do an odd discomforting twitch at all. Nope. Angron lets out a chuckle because the man looks clearly bested because it is clear he is the terrible liar.

"Well then. Brutus Pompey Crassius, because who else could it be, you shall face the same trials as everyone of your high rider kin. You will face the same justice. " Angron speaks and Arona makes a quick head nod and takes him down the stairwell.

And as Arona tries to take him down the stairs the Rak Gol quickly does a whip with an appendage, grabs him, and snaps him in half before eating him.

"Should we free this beast?" Angron asks.

"No that would be terrible and if you do that I don't care what kind of hero you are to the common man I will kill you myself." Frank says from behind as he walks up.

"That thing would kill all of us for fun. Have Lancer kill it before it figures out how to break out." Frank says.

"Lancer, can you kill that thing without risking yourself or is this gonna be a job for the Fierce?" You ask.

"I can take it out quick since it's restrained." Lancer says and makes a quick move which slays it.

"Kolinasi, Kaiko Wahtiri. My Brother. Thank you. You have done so much. I heard you need supplies, I am sure that Cinncinatus will be willing to provide them." Angron says as Cinncinatus walks up.

"That will be my pleasure." Cinncinatus says.

"Cap, what's your decision?" You hear Jera ask and you look at Angron.

"The victory over the high riders of the eleventh and twelfth primarch, before they were reunited with their legions demonstrated how the future would be with them. Oddly they two worked together approximately the same time that the eleventh and twelfth legion worked on the anti Ork campaign before the push into the Ultima Segmentum."

I love how this dipshit blabbed about everything before he got fucking ate. The Gods of Chaos made a point of keeping quiet before/during the Crusades and allowing the Emperor's sons to fall into their traps.

Now Special K and Angron know that the dark powers are targeting the Primarchs, which means their brothers are in danger, and the two of them are going to be looking for anything unusual or suspicious.

So.

It's 'Not Lieren' TM. Malal is the man and he has done amazing things with his quest. And his description of the second primarch is amazing, and I am fairly certain he did research as I did into the other primarchs and what is lacking in order to make Lieren so effective.

So for the record, the second primarch is 'NOT LIEREN'. This is done intentionally, so that if we are fortunate enough to work out a holiday special, it makes it more special. A 'What If' scenario that is beautiful.

As for the dark shade on the table.

I wouldn't have eleventh primarch quest without Malal giving encouragement. So a tribute is in order.

Update is gonna be up later tonight.

"Angron" You say and your brother looks upon you.

"I have to go to Olympia." You say with a heavy heart and Angron looks at you and you put your hand on his shoulder.

"We are on the trail of powerful slavers, and there is much that must be attended to. They have to be brought to justice." You say and Angon nods.

"I will return here after my business with them is done- I will help you until my family at home needs me." You say and Angron looks at you oddly

"You are a lucky man." He says.

"You can come with, my ma would probably hit me with her shoe if I didn't invite you home for dinner. I beg you to in fact." You say and he laughs.

"When do you leave for Olympia?" He asks.

"We have some time here yet. I. Angron, I have so much to ask you. So much I want to teach you. I have these star charts that can help you navigate the stars, once you get an astropath and a navigator." You say

"I know what an Astropath is but what is a Navigator?" He asks

"Someone who has three eyes." You say.

"You mean like Blue Barra? She's a gladiator who was supposed to fight tomorrow." Angron says.

"I don't know, I'd have to ask my own." You say.

"Well, if her fighting is any indication she should be a good Navigator." Angron says with a chuckle.

"Truly, I wouldn't know. As I have had to navigate before, using a device." You say.

" Well, what good is either of those, if I don't have a ship to pilot?" Angron asks.

"Well, you have one. Ur- Ahem, Pygmallius and I found a decent void capable ship. It is yours." You say and Angron's eyes widen.

"I can go explore the stars?" He asks.

"I wouldn't go too far, the ship is very small, despite how it looks from ground, the fierce right yonder" You point to your ship in wonder of the statement that you are about to say

"The Something Fierce is a very small ship. It packs a punch, but it is a tiny ship." You say and Angron laughs.

"That thing is tiny? What passes for big?" He asks.

"They get ten times that." You say still shocked by the scope and Angron let's out a gulp.

"On my planet we are working on building some bigger ones." You say and Angron nods

"Bet that requires a lot of people." He says.

"We have it kind of automated and controlled. Not as many as you think. It does require a lot of material. My planet, De'lormosa, was used by a clan of people called the 'dumpers' and they put so much metal, trash and general garbage on our planet that it has a ring around the planet that is visible at day and night full of garbage." You say.

"And you are putting it to good use." He says. And you nod, you remember when your secret surfing spot was no more than terrible trash heaps.

"Angron, would you like to learn how to surf?" You ask.

"What is this Surfing you talk of? You asked me already, is it like sparring?" He asks.
>>
>>4951861
"No. It's, well, have you seen the ocean?" You ask.

"Not up close." Angron says. It's a shame.

"Can you swim?" You ask.

"That I can do." He says.

"Alright. Then you get to learn to surf." You say.

"You still haven't explained anything!" Angron says as you run over to Yana who is talking with Cinncinatus and then finishes speaking.

"Yana. My newly discovered sister." You say and she looks at you a bit confused.

"Yes my newly discovered brother?" She says in a mock tone of yours.

"Wanna blow this joint and teach our new discovered brother to surf?" You ask and she starts laughing,

"Not sated with just conquest of the planet, but you must conquest it's waves as well?" She says

"If I don't someone else will." You say.

"Yeah I will! The weather here is great and I have one of these!" Meera says hoping out of the ship with a strange little floating vehicle, and her board.

"It goes faster than you Kolinasi!" She teases you.

"I highly doubt that." You respond.

"Well, this is the nicest weather I have ever experienced and all my duties and checks are done. Those waves over at the far cove look perfect." And Meera zooms off with a 'woohoo!'

"What havoc have you just unleashed brother?" Angron asks with a chuckle.

"A witch who likes surfing. Well, would you like to try?" You ask.

"I would make for a terrible leader and warrior if I can't try a new challenge." Angron says.

"Well, You will have a good teacher so it won't be too challenging." Yana says.

"Though you need a board!" Deliah says walking with the rest of chain breakers and your uncle.

"Kolinasi what would your father say?" Your uncle Kai says.

" My Son, you just helped your long lost brother unseat a tyrant and the first thing you wish to do is surf? Without eating?! Surely the volcano will go tomorrow!" You say almost perfectly copying your fathers voice causing both Uncle Kai and Arona to let out a belly laugh.

"Either that or why you haven't asked him to come along." Deliah says.

"Aye. That."

"Alright you provide me with a board, and I will join in this sort of victory celebration. It's not like any triumph I have ever seen." Angron says. Deliah looks up at angron, then and you and smiles.

"I'll go get your spare captain." She says.

"So those four witches, who are all, by any stretch of the imagination for most people that are stunning, are your honor guard." Angron says as you approach the beach with a skeptical look.

"Ya." You say in a calm tone, as you have with all of Angrons basic questions.

"And you also captain that ship?" He says pointing off in the distance to the now parked Something Fierce, which Jera is now filling with donated supplies.

"Ya" You say, which you really have grown into the roll. A few months ago you would have said captain in training.

"Which you captured, by yourself." He asks, which is odd, because you just went over your story with him.

"With the help of freed slaves and knowledge of the machine spirit." You remind him and he nods.

"And you are NOT a pirate." Which he has asked multiple times, it's starting to make you wonder about the planets education system.

"No, technically I am a war chief and privateer, it's only piracy if you do it indiscriminately and aren't contracted out by a government." You explain, again.

"You are part of that government though! You basically are a pirate king." He says

"What the spirits is a pirate king?" You let out in a bit of exasperation.

"It's a story that Oenomaus told me about." Angron says.

The pair of you finally come upon the beach, were a small crowd has come to admire Meera and a few others who have started surfing.

"She is literally riding the waves." Angron says

"Oh these are ok, but you should see De'lormosa! We got waves bigger than that Rak Gol that I rode. Granted we have sea monsters though." You say

"Like what?" Angron says with a smile

"Kerrakakaru The living Gail, An albatross so big it creates a shadow that covers an island in shadow when it passes over, Then there is King Shark, which is pretty simple. He's a massive shark." You say.

"That' sounds like it would be fun to hunt and fight." Angron says,

"I slayed one legendary beast. Big Boy. An Electric Eel Shark. Thing is still feeding my island home." You say and Angron looks at you.

"And you surf in water with all those things?" He says.

"Frequently, but you fight everyday. I wish I knew as much of combat as you! You live and fight. You have such great skill." You say and Angron nods

"I honestly could probably get much better if I trained much harder. But you are here to teach me to surf." He says.

>>
To your shock, and pleasant surprise, Angron is quite the fast study. It may be his control of his body, honed by years of combat, or maybe, all primarchs are like this. You show him the way around the basic board. The waves, thankfully, aint mush, but they aint so big that some of the more fun tricks are possible, the basics and fun of it are still there. The Overhead waves, they are way out, and you don't want to show him that just yet. Not to mention, your grav board, as your father and uncle lovingly point out, is cheating. The water is even as blue as back home, but the waves are only about as big as little island.

From paddling out, to riding his first wave, took Angron less time than any you have seen save islanders. He hangs five like your father and it's quite impressive. Though him surfing with you does remind you a little of home. Yet, you know not much of him.

"Angron, what else do you do besides fight, and learn to surf in a matter of minutes." You ask

"The arena gives very little in the way of free time. But I have friends, a few combatants. Oenomaus, Julian, Hadrian, I mentioned my blue friend Barra. I don't have a - whatever that giant beast you have is, but I have a dog named Kairberus, He would probably be worried sick if it werent for the bones that he has to snack on. I'm learning how to read, it isn't so hard. I- I try to comfort those around me. There is so much suffering in the arena, and so much fear. I am brave and strong for them. I don't have much free time when I am not helping those around me. I wish I could do more, but now, it looks like I finally am able to."

You continue to talk with him for a very long time.

His favorite food, is meat when he gets it. Though it sounds like he has the pick, so long as he is on top as gladiator.

He enjoys combat, revels in it even. He doesn't revel in the killing.

You talk to him about strategy, which he understands, but seems much more suited to tactics.

Then you learn about his early childhood.

"They, did- WHAT." You say almost falling off your board.

"They filled the arena with acid. I had to kill so many people that day, and so many died. That was the last time I cried." He says

"You have been a gladiator and warrior ever since." You say quietly and he nods. It's a long silence, but you listen to him talk about the experience, the horror of which worries you, and makes you glad you found him so soon. However, you realize there is still, as always so much to do.

"Let's go to shore brother, I am sure my crew has much to discuss, but we can host your gladiators aboard the fierce for dinner, the mess hall isn't much, but we have a really good chef." You say and Angron nods

"If you are serving up some sea monster, that would be something." Angron says
>>
>>4953333

"Do you have any nearby?" You ask, curious if this planet has any mythical creatures.

"I'm a gladiator, not a Steveador. Ask the men at the dock about that." He says and you dive off your board into the ocean. You swim around for a little bit, not too far away. There are large fish, including one you have never seen. It looks like a sword shark, but it looks more like a fish. It has a large fin and some black stripes. You let out the smallest bit of mana to get a read, and it's heading directly towards you. You react quickly, and let the fish graze you with it's snout, and you hit it then explode out of the water with the fish.

"Does this look monstrous enough on a short notice?" You ask and Angron lets out an approving laugh.

"I think your the only monster here, able to take out a fish in it's own territory!" He says.

The pair of you swim to shore, and Uncle Kai, Arona, Frank and Erihapti come hoping up.

"The locals are preparing a feast for us on the ship, but I see you already decided to grab something?" Frank says

"It's for Angron, he hasn't had much in the way of seafood." You point out and Angron nods, as your honor guard slowly pulls up to shore too, done with surfing.

"Ah. Well, that is good. We have been offered a lot in the way of resupply, however, our Navigator and Astropath wish to talk to you personally Kolinasi. Then there is your new crew mate Pygmallius, who is- well he is taking heavy stock of all electronics including the database, he says there are issues to address. He's really weird and he smells weirder. Jera says he is gonna gather part of his Moka with your permission, however, the cargo bay can only hold so much with both Lancer and the Sub. Then there is the after action report, which there is some stuff we desperately need to go over." Frank says and then Arona does a playful punch to his shoulder.

"And we haven't been properly introduced to Angron, much of the crew would like to be introduced to Kolinasi's brother." Arona says, then Meera speaks up.
>>
>>4953334

"Then there is the wounded that need our ships medical bay, and honestly Captain you should maybe attempt to make the scars look less gnarly. Though you and Angron both seem to have similar ways of handling scarification- oddly." Gella says causing Angron to look at your scars, and you also see his and nod.

"Also that intelligence trove has a lot of weird stuff. The leaders here on Nuceria keep the best records." Meera says, and Deliah raises her hand,

"I am also concerned about the religious practices of the planet, namely their gods upon further examination, and to be honest, there are a lot of troubling artifacts that I would throw in a volcano if I could." Deliah says.

"So you really aren't a king, but a captain." Angron says causing you to chuckle.

"And before we all forget, we need to collect intelligence from some of these people, getting Rak Gol is tough, and to be honest we need to start seeing what the next step in government is with Cinncinatus. Sure we won, but now we just have a weird power vacuum and a semi stable state." Frank says.

____

You have 5 hours before dinner, you have a lot to get done with. Divide the time and priority among what tasks you must undertake, you do not have to do everything, but you reasonably can.

As usual- you can delegate some honor guard to certain tasks, and will have each honor guard member that can be delegated to the task next to it.

Preferably the one that ends with Kolinaisi teaching his brothers about the simple delight of s'mores over the burning rubble of their final stand.

Also, can you imagine if *The Temerity* are the ones to locate another Primarch, like Mortarion or Konrad?
>>
>>4953892
The Temerity being the first contact of Guilliman with the Imperium is like a sitcom episode. He keeps thinking that this entire galatic superpower consists of only crazy undisciplined soldiers that barely have or follow a chain of command, until he gets to Terra to meet his legion and sees that it's only the 11th tht is like that.
Than he thinks they are only like that necause they didn't have a primarch to give order to them, and gets excited when there's news of the 11th primarch being found, and how he is tge warchief of a coalition with 2 other primarchs. Being a speace empire builder, he would think that the 11th is like him, and goes to meet him, only to find Kolinasi, Angron and Pertubaro. First he thinks that Pert is the 11th, after all he is the orderly on, than he believes it's Angron, since he is the charismatic, abd finally he accepts that KKW is the primarch, and that the Temerity and probably the entire naval side of the Imperium is only going to get crazier.
>>
>>4953920
Oh God, I love it. Who knew the ingredient the Imperium's recipe for success was missing was some Special K?

So the order of rediscovery in canon is;
> Horus
> Leman Russ
> Ferrus Manus
> Fulgrim
> Vulkan
> Rogal Dorn
> Roboute Guilliman
> Magnus the Red
> Sanguinius
> Lion El'Jonson
> Perturbo
> Mortarion
> Lorgar
> Jaghatai Khan
> Konrad Curze
> Angron
> Corvus Corax

*But* since we're gunning for a coalition of worlds under brothers, and we've already found Angron, we might very well meet Horus and the others in the middle with our own established fleet and armed forces. It's fucking great.
>>
Goddamn captcha keeps resetting before the pic is done uploading.

Anyway, who do you think we can find next? My best guess would be Konrad?
>>
>>4954034
After Pert, I thibk we should focus on internal matters for a while, since wr kind of rushed things a bit. Angron only has one city for now and no goverment, Pert will be difficult wheter or not he still is a mercenary captain or have been vassalized by Dammekos, and De'Lormosa is still unexplored to us, we only have contact with two of it's people, we still have to deal with the Old Man, UR, probably will have to kill a few more of the great beasts to make travel and colonization safe. Also we have to prepare for Deldar sabotage, it's question of time until they start tryong to get their revenge.
Only after all that we should start expanding the coalition.
>>
>>4954109
It's true; we kinda rushed to leave and get to Angron as soon as possible because of meta-shit (though I will argue that pissing in Khorne's flakes is still a fantastic decision).

Maybe we can get to Perturbo early enough that he'll be able able to make a decision on what kind of future he wants for himself, rather than catering to his overlord.

Personally, I think it would be wonderful if he chose to venture out to Nuceria and aid Angron in his revolution. A worthy war, for ideals he has rarely seen on Olympia, fighting alongside his true blood-brother, to establish a kinder world of peace and prosperity for every man.

Maybe we could give Perturbo the sub and assign Tera (the Navigator) and the Astropath (forgot their name) to assist him until a more long-term means of communication can be achieved. Later on, we could even bring both Perturbo and Angron to De'lormosa and build them their own vessels for war and exploration alike.
>>
>>4954216
Giving Pert the reigns on how to design the artificial islands/star fortresses/orbital battery is going to make him extremily happy, he may be a siege expert, but his true love was building things.
That plus having two lovelable idiot brothers, and explaining to him what the Eye of Terror actually is and why you not staring at it is a good idea instead of just telling to not do it ahould ease most of his problems (seriously Demmekus and the Emperor had the same way to deal with people, no wonder Pert rebelled, it's Tyrants all the way down).
>>
>>4954034
OK! Because missing primarchs are in themselves a zebra puzzle, I am going to let you figure this out, and also because I love how you guys dig into the fluff and lore.

So.. You can 'technically', and I mean 'technically' using two points and information that will be in this very chapter (And other chapter) to triangulate the approximate area where De'lormosa system is at once you find a specific mentioned waypoint.

When you are able to approximate, and find De'lormosa, if and when, if your timing is good, you could- and it is in the story tree but I put it as an almost impossibility, find a third primarch- or if you somehow magically Find Alpharius Among Emperors Cadre , a fifth primarch, upon Big E's arrival

I will not say which one. I will tell you that it is a race against time, even with this turning into the KKW Speedrun.

>>4954216
It wasn't meta. It was blind freaking luck. The ONLY WAY, you got to this path, was accidentally finding the knight hangar, on that SPECIFIC post. Thus finding Charon, who has been dragged all over and having a galactic reference. In addition to Charon,

You found Frank.
Frank is harder to find than Charon, because you had to meet multiple requirements, to allow KKW to find Frank, and also not let him leave.

None of these reasons were meta at the time.

It only got Meta After you met Frank, Frank whomst is an intelligence operative, so he allows for more meta stuff as he, well, knows things.

And, Yes, Meera has a 'Doozy' now. I try to add in a lot of the stuff you guys make when I can.

And

Kolinasi Kaiko Wahtiri he still has to add two names yet at least /spoiler] is the 18th.

HOWEVER-

Your real race is against the clock is that Perturabo. You see, when the emperor finds Olympia, if you have met Perturabo there is a really good chance he will be explain that he has met his other brothers, thus adjusting the order to as follows

>Perturabo
> Angron
> Kolinasi
> Mortarion
> Lorgar
> Jaghatai Khan
> Konrad Curze
> Corvus Corax
> Omegon

Currently the last Primarch discovered was

Rogal Dorne

So you have 4 primarchs until Perturabo is discovered.

Why Old Man, there is no Nuceria on the map!

That is correct. I however have Nuceria and De'lormosa on my map, but I am not showing it because it would be a bit too meta. But for our purposes using this lovely map, showing the order of primarch discovery (for the most part) assume Nuceria is right around Impetus.
>>
>>4954365
Isn't Nuceria east from the realm of ultramar, I would say that little spot in the hexagon between Calth and Saran Luxor, so De'Lormosa should be somewhere in the eastern fringes.
If it is, the Storm Riders are fucked when the Tyranids appear.
>>4954345
And I don't kbow how wise it would be to giga speedrun meeting a 4rth or 5th primarch while overextending ourselves, Angron was tge only primarch that being saved from their homeworld was the only way to save them.
Anyone has any ideas for other 2 names? I imagine it's the warchief name and the one for routing the Ganth right?
>>
>>4954408
That would really depend, nids are weakest in void combat (even though thats not saying much), and our legion is going to be navy focused.

Did additional looking at my old map.

It doesn't really change too much, and we are good. My map wasn't too accurate, which kind of disappoints me.

However, to make this transparent, and because it makes it easier, go north of Tyran a little bit and put it around bardic.

It's apparently from some guy on reddit name s3xyrandal, that seems to be continuously updating the map, here's the newest version I could find.
I feel dirty having to search through there, I prefer diving through the wikis, but the maps there are very barebones or scattered about.
Anyway, i'm going to try and edit in De'Lomorsa, I tried to do it but Photoshop decided to be a bitch and crash my PC.

> Kolinaisi the Purifier, Kolinaisi the Storm's Wrath, Kolinaisi the Great Shark
Future generations might be able to develop Noctolith into a weapon that can disrupt the Hive Mind. Aside from that, the fact that De'lormosa is destined to be the beating heart of the eastern fleets and is home to all manner of giant monsters, they'll be able to fight the invasive xenos with literal fang and plasma.

What ought to be interesting is whether or not Kolinaisi or one of his sons will be the one to discover the Necrons.

Sorry, but I just can't read any of that on mobile.

My assumption at least was that De'lormosa was somewhere in the Dominion of Storms, a roughly equal distance from Nuceria and Olympia.
>>
>>4954775
Well, all we know is that Nuceria is closer and along the way to Olympia, so it can't be that way, even if we went by Old Man's old location of near Impetus (I can't find any information on that planet online, am i dumb?), if it was De'lormosa would be around Caeran.

"Frank, Arona, with me." You whistle to Erihapti and she perks up to be by your side. "Uncle Kai.. Find what the spirits is going on with Jerah and his Moka." You say

"Maybe I should take Frank with me?" Your uncle laughs.

"Nah, I need him for interrogations." You say and Your uncle nods.

"We will do the after action report before dinner. Deliah, go see what is up with this local religion, see if you can find any artifacts. Report to me what you find." You say and Deliah grins.

"Am I authorized to destroy any artifacts?" She asks.

"Use your best judgement, you know far more than I do about this." You say.

You and your smaller group go back to the ship.

When you arrive, you see the small group of prisoners is kept in the front.

Some of them, are those you actively captured. Others, look a bit worse. It takes you, roughly twenty minutes just finding who the important people to interrogate are, and you mark them for further interrogation before trial. So far, it's the two you captured, a very serious looking older man in armor, an swollen blob, and a woman whom honestly worries you quite a bit as you are afraid that she may escape due to physical appearance and psychic gifts, you think. Your minor interrogation of various ones at least give you a good idea of whom interrogate before the trials in the morning.

"Frank, can you meet up with me at the after action. Someone needs to interrogate them, and keep an eye on em." You say. Frank nods then whispers

"Do you have any of that black ink?" He asks

"Yeah" you pull out some.

"I can already tell what she is about. Let me have some of this." He says and puts a hefty amount around most of his head and in his hair.

"That's a bit extreme." You say.

"It's not my fault she's my type." Frank says and you look up and sigh

"Then why are you watching her?" You ask.

"Because I am the only one who has a clue of what she may be up to. You go talk to your new engineer, or whatever, I am gonna get intell." Frank says in a tone that would be scary, for most. For you, it honestly is almost funny. Arona looks at you.

"If that's Frank's type then he is weird in the head. I deserve at least 25 pigs." Arona says and you shake your head.

"It can't be helped cuz let's go." You say.

"Ya Ya." Arona says back as the pair of you enter the ship and it's primary corridor, where you find UR and Nasi, both looking at something with the databank.

"So you two, what is wrong." you say and UR looks at you.

"To be very clear this is between just you and I, these two cannot be here for this.
>>
>>4954911

"What is it Kolinasi?" Your cousin asks and Nasi looks up.

"If Pygmallius says it's that way it's probably something awkward about his physical body that you two don't need to see, or somethin private." You say and UR nods and their emotive looks agreeable. After Arona and everyone else leaves save your shoal stoat, he confides in you.

"Your ships machine spirits, are very pleased. That is good. I am worried about this databank though." UR says.

"What, it seems fine to me." You say and UR gives an odd expression on his emotive, like that of disappointment. He hits the side of it, and a door opens, that was hidden. And out rolls two strange creatures that you have never seen before.

"These are Jokero. That's how much of this was going on. Though, most of their designs were useless, some of what they designed was useful and those were put on to the Rak Gol." UR says.

"Those. Invented all the weird cybernetics." You ask.

"These Jokero, invented quite a bit. This catalogs a lot of their inventions upon other things. They were getting these from the Ganth. How I do not know. Jokero are infamous to take care of, and even harder to capture." UR says.

"So what do we do with em? Let em go?" You ask

"Well, that's the problem. They don't have anywhere to go. And anytime they are found they are often enslaved. My suggestion is that we just take care of them until we find a place for them to be free." UR says.

"I have to agree. What about, uh, the manner of your actual innards?" You ask

"I am working on that." UR says.

"Alright. How, do we handle these two?" You say to UR as the two Jokero look at you, in a way that shows quite a level of intelligence.

"They like messing with technical things, but honestly, I am not skilled enough. I was going to ask to borrow the Comms to ask the Old Man." UR says.

"We'll do that together." And you contact the old man,

"You have been quite busy on the radio today Kolinasi! What is it you wish to talk about?" The Old Man asks

"What do you know of these weird orange haired lookin fellas, called Jokero?" You ask

"Are you certain they are Jokero?" The old man asks.

"I have checked. Yes." UR states.

"You have multiple ones?" The Old Man asks

"Two." You respond.

"They are not native to Nuceria. Take care of them for now, find a spot to release them when you get a chance, but be careful with them. They make wonderful things, and also wonderfully useless things. They can also rip off a humans arms with their strength. So keep an eye on em. Does the crew know?" The Old Man asks.

"Na." You respond.

"Talk to someone who has been to space before besides me. I have never actually done research on them." The Old Man asks.

Sorry for the mini update. The rest will be posted tomorrow. I had to do trip planning with the Waifu. It took multiple hours. Longer than parts of the trip.

>> Talk to Frank

Yeah I know hes meant to be doing the interrogation, but the dudes been round long enough to know these critters.

Hmm we should probably offer them food. A steady supply of food and water is the easiest way to gain their trust.
>>
>>4954916
> Talk to Frank, then introduce them to little Nasi and Eri.
Fucking amazing. Nuceria got all of it's tech from a literal barrel of space monkeys.

>>4954982
Definitely feed 'em. Maybe they'd like a little Yum Shark? We get 'em back home, we could let the two have their own little island. Nice and quiet.

Charon has been dragged around as a slave for a long time, and by the Ganth, which means he might have aeen the Jokaero.

> Among the tales of the Primarchs, each is a figure of glory and power, attracting men and women of great talent to walk beside them. Kolinasi however is unusual in this regard, as he did not limit his friendship solely to humans.
> At the conclusion of The Day of Broken Chains, it is known that the Eleventh Primarch made the startling discovery of Jokaero kept as pet-savants by the dethroned High Riders. It is not known how exactly he charmed the pseudo-primates, but upon the arrival of the Imperium to De'lormosa, the two had founded a burgeoning clan upon one of the last 'trash isles', transforming it into a verdant garden.
> It is a poorly kept secret amongst the higher ranks of the Adepta and other Legions that many of the unusual and exotic tools, defenses, and weaponry used by the 11th Legion are the handiwork of these Jokaero. While some among the Adeptus Mechanicus were (and still are) rather sour about the Jokaero's continued presence, their peers are quick to remind them of the legion's many worthy actions supporting the Quest for Knowledge and their progenitor's sacred bond with the holy machine-spirits. Other detractors, such as the holy Ordos, are quietly placated with 'gifts' that can aid them in pursuing far more dangerous quarry than tinkering simians.

You and UR both go outside quickly, and make contact with Frank. Who is busy in the middle of interrogation, which seems incredibly tense. You flag him down and he follows you. UR then reveals the Jokareo again. Frank looks shocked.

"What are you doing with those?!" Frank says

"We discovered them in the the databank, apparently it had a small housing for them."

"So you just find two Jokareo. You are the most surreal person I have ever met Kolinasi. Great. Well I hope that the machine wasn't hiding them from their family, because their family bands move in space ships that, frankly are beyond even your comprehension. Furthermore, I am surprised they haven't tried to escape and destroy things to make some random device yet. These ones seem young. I guess feed them? Have someone take care of them? Put little Nasi on it? Have your shoal stoat keep an eye on them? Just don't let them near anything like, oh no." And you see Frank look at Lancer moving into the hanger and the eyes of the Jokaero go wide as they watch the knight move and follow it quickly.

"OH NO." UR says and you realize what may happen as you quickly intercept the two before they get any closer.

"So yeah. They may want to do that. I suggest against that. I'd say put em back in whatever barrel or crate they were in, but you probably don't want to. Just keep an eye on them otherwise they will cause trouble." Frank says.

You then walk up and talk to Lancer whom has recently gotten out of his knight.

"Would you like some assistance?" You ask lancer.

"Honestly, my knight doesn't need to much in the way of repairs, but- where did you get those?" Lancer asks about the two Jokaero that you are basically holding like children.

"They were in a database." You say.

"Oh. Well, I guess new things are just common on here. I have some fruit and bars in my gear locker." He says going nearby and pulling out some food and handing it to the two.

"I'd like to learn though." You say and Lancer nods.

He guides you through the rituals a proper sacrasant and mechanic would go through with fixing a knight. It isnt't that difficult, with the right tools, but with what you have, it is a bit more difficult. You are able to sense the knights, machine spirit, which is largely influenced by the 'throne mechanicum.' But the spirit and mana of the machine are incredibly strong. The repairs, are small, you do some minor work to the legs and some alterations to the feet. Once you help him after a little bit of work you go off to do the next task. But not after Nasi comes to take the two Jokaero, with Erihapti, after some bribing, follows with.

Which is, talking to the local leadership.

Which is confusing.
>>
>>4956048
Angron, is present as one of the 'gladitorial represntatives.' which includes Oenomaus and a few others, including a blue skinned woman with a third eye.

Next is the 'free' representatives, which includes Cinncinatus, and a younger man named Titus

Finally there are the 'good' nobles, ones who were in the minority and did not treat their servants poorly, Regulus and Trajan, both of which were in charge of various tasks including defense of the city.

The negotiations are tense.

The gladitorial representatives, or basically the recently freed slaves, are exceptionally upset with Regulus and Trajan, whom, while having scores of people vouch for them, and even Angron himself vouching for Trajan, they still seem hyper defensive on who is going to rule what.

After much discussion for thirty minutes, you suggest trying to at least form a council, which was Angron, Cinncinatus, and Trajan backed. Then they agree that they will convene a council and begin to have representatives. This is magnified, when you mention the visible fact that troops are heading this way, which causes concern among Trajan and Cinncinatus.

After some more discussion they agree with this plan, and Trajan, Cinncinatus and Angron begin a secondary discussion of defenses.

You begin to head back into the ship and you are ambushed by both the Navigator and Astropath.

The discussion, which is hard to you to follow with your only base level of intelligence on the matter is simple.

There are A LOT of ships moving through the standard route to Olympia.

The astropath is getting insane chatter, and she can't tell if it is a good or bad chatter, but there are multiple xenos migrations- which leads to the astropath, and her giving you the same eyes Erihapti gives you when she wants a treat.

"We need to take a different route and your help navigating with your device" She pleads after about twenty minutes of beating around the bush.

You finally get back to the cargo hold.

Which finally has the submarine in it.

And Jerahs Moka.
>>
>>4956049

And about 40 more pigs than normal, which each have a collar attached. Odd.

The cargo hold is a mess.

"RONGO!" You shout out and Rongo, the official quartermaster and cook steps out.

"I know Kolinasi! It's absurd in here, Jerah shoved most of his Mokka on to the sub unit, but there is more stuff that he went a forragin for, then there were the dairy goats we got for the milk and cheese for protein, then we got cows." Rongo says.

"Cows?" You ask, only having heard of the beasts.

"Yeah mate. They require so much food though, it's absurd. It's just easier to have goats pigs and chicken with how much they eat." Rongo says

"Well how do they taste?" You ask

"Mate, you won't believe that till you had it. Problem isn't even Jerahs Moka though. We also got more forraging, and got different game birds, and those fancy pigs over there, and multiple fish. I already have the weird fish you brought in on cooler. Problem is all these things eat. We got the grain for it. The problem is"

"The waste." You say

"Ya. We can try doing fertilizing like they do on the witches isle. But where the hell will we put it? Lancer said he would tear me in half if anything got in his knight. I can't blame him. If we had a second vessel this would be easier, but the problem is it's not like they have a bunch of stores of canned meat for us. Though there are tons of canning material. And I overheard ya talking to the navigator, you know any deviation is gonna take a while." Rongo says, which is accurate as he was one of the first ones who got you into start watching.

"I guess we are going to have to allow some of the creatures, to roam. And are the cows for part of this Moka?" You ask

"Jera said that he don't care if you big, he says ya aint takin the cows." Rongo says.

"I am going to have to work on sanitation. Or something. Or pull a second ship outta my ass, wait, where is the fighter?" You say.

"Way in the back. Both of them. We had to rearrange this a few times already." Rongo says.

"Well at least we have enough food for the whole trip and back." You point out

"Mate, we have four trips worth of things in here. I am half tempted to kick shit off in Olympia." Rongo says.

"Just tell me if you do." You say and Rongo sighs.

"It was a lot easier when we were just at home." He says

"Ya. But you are a good quartermaster. When we get back you probably will get a star ship of your own." You tell Rongo, who has actually put on a lot of muscle, and is in significantly stronger form.

"Thanks. Also what were those weird orange critters Nasi was haulin around?" Rongo asks

"Some Jokaero thingies, don't let em near anything electrical and don't eat em." You say and he scoffs and looks at you
>>
>>4956051

"I know, Rongo wisdom rule 5: If aint from the sea and it got metal in it, don't eat it. If it is from the sea take out the metal, and clean the fish careful." You say and Rongo nods approvingly.

"I know they aint fish." Rongo says and you laugh.

"Just keep workin hard Rongo." You say and he nods.

You walk down to a small muster area where your usual after action report team is.

"So Frank I see you got Arona her Gift. I see ya aint a rubbish man afterall." You say and Frank shrugs his shoulders, which causes Arona to give an odd look, and Uncle Kai to give a greedy smile.

"Those are apparently fine truffle pigs. They only eat very fancy food and are used to find very specific snacks that the high lords munch on. I also took the snacks the high lords like and gave them to Rongo. As for Intelligence Gathered from interrogation, I have gotten some info on the Ganth, The Black Judges, and of all things apparently a crusade from Terra. That lady is some sort of refugee. She is a powerful lady from Luna or was. She is hiding out here. If anyone else wants to take a crack at getting more info, proceed with extreme caution." Frank says.

"On the siege, and our combat today?" You ask and Arona raises her hand.

"They learned about us. We did good, but they had prep time. Some of the beasts Cuz, you would have been absolutely upset about." Arona says

"Ya nephew. They were ready for an uprising, somebody saw something, or did something. We were able to deal with it, because we are good, but we are going to need armor. And maybe a better approach to this kind of combat. While our advance was good, and we took care of the hard targets, we could have changed things a little. We got this big ship, maybe we didn't have to get into so much danger." Uncle Kai says. He has a point.

"So next time use the teleportarium" You say and Uncle Kai retches.

"Maybe, if I don't vomit from it." He responds. And Deliah raises a hand.

"I did the scouting on their religion. It was mostly prevalent in the high rider houses. It kind of matches with the ones I told you off. So I checked the artifacts, they had a lot of stuff that looked curse, so I put the ones I found in a bag without touching it and hucked it into a blacksmith furnace and gave him" and she sighs " a kiss and, a few fancy wool goats and he disposed of them without touching." Deliah says causing Meera to laugh almost uncontrollably.

"Well, good. If the things are as bad as you say they are, I don't want them in the ship." You say

"Then there is books. The records I took, I was able to get us some pretty useful historical star chart data, and information on how they got the Rak Gol, which kind of leads to the direction which the Ganth are going, I'd have to confirm with what Gella saw but I think I know where they are going" Meera says and Gella nods, and 'Boots' is sleeping in her arms.
>>
>>4956052

"Yeah, I got the same, saw the troop movement, wrote it down after drawing a map, and drew a general egress for the ships in the system." Gella says.

Yana shrugs

"I helped Cinncinatus gather up people, you already talked to the elders." Yana says and you nod.

"Gella and I will do some Medical assistance with the wounded on board then wash up and head for dinner. If you see Nasi haulin around- Frank just explain the Jokaero to them." You say and Frank nods as you and Meera walk to the med bay, where Garreth and Tybro two chain breakers, Some Gladiators and one of the friendly guards are lying on beds.

The two of you get to work.

"These wounds aren't bad Garreth." Gella says

"You should see the other guy." Garreth says and Tybro lets out a quiet Ha, which causes him to make a pained strain

"So you got your ribs broke mate?" You say, less than ask, as you can clearly tell that he has two broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder.

"And I screwed up my arm" Tybro says

"I am gonna fix it up." You say handing him the strong medical whisky

"Gonna hurt that much?" He asks taking the whisky

"It's only gonna hurt my pride if it does because then it means I screwed up." You say and reset his shoulder and he lets out a yelp after drinking.

"Oh come on! Do you see Kolinasi? Did you know he didn't.."

"Flinch after getting stabbed by multiple spears whilst walking on burning coals like all big men? Ya I know. The yelp wasn't the shoulder. The whisky has gone south." He says. You give him a skeptical look and take a swig. It taste like the paint stripper engine cleaner and you spit it out.

"Ya." You say and Gella lets out a little chuckle.

"You wanna try?" You say and she tosses over a bottle of her palm wine. You swig it, and it actually taste incredible compared to most gotrut. You give a swig to Tybro who nods and lets out a whistle

"How strong is that?" Tybro asks

"Read the label." She says.

"180 proof?! Ya daft with something that taste that good being that strong!" Tybro lets out, which honestly, is a good point.

"I just prefer my pain killer to be tasty." Gella says walking over and taking it.

"We will try to fix up the ribs as best as we can, but it looks like you are light duty mate." You say to Tybro who sighs.

"So long as I get to try again next planet." He says and you nod.

You go get washed up same as Gella.

You have some time before the dinner for Angron.

I can't recall how exactly the Mechanicus plys the Warp without Navigators, but this navigation tech could be a huge game changer. Especially if we can outfit all of our ships to link together, allowing a single lead Navigator to guide dozens of craft with pin-point accuracy and safety.

Also, definitely want to write a song for dear sis. She told K on the Isle that she felt like she didn't belong, but now she has a place with K and her kin.
>>
>>4956633
I'm pretty sure that the Mechanicus have Navigators too, the only exception could be some explorator fleets that use ancient tech.

HEROES OF DE'LORMOSA
> The oceanic world is notable for several reasons: it is of course the home world of a Primarch and his Astartes sons; the plethora of technological treasures discovered beneath the sand and crashing waves; and the many natives who have become shining icons of the Imperial armed forces.
> Admiral Henri Tānerore encapsulated everything it means to be a Big Man and a Navy officer; fierce, clever, and determined, buoyed by the love of his subordinates and the fear of his foes. Leading from the fore, he served in the vanguard of over 3,000 engagements; a tally beaten by very few.
> With a mighty jade club passed down from his forefathers and the gleaming artifice saber of his office, he laid low Orks and treasonous vermin alike, but Tānerore' greatest feat was the defeat of the 'Crimson Fiend' Kabal.
> The stunning tactics he used against the Drukhari that day are still taught now. Outnumbered and outgunned, he and his stalwart sailors fought with every shred of their being to snatch victory from the jaws of oblivion and in the process saved over three billion souls from the talons of the xenos.
> A marvelous painting was rendered of the battle's conclusion, wherein the Admiral and his favored 'Sea Dragoons' stand triumphant over the enemy as the horrid Webway device thought sought to unleash burns in the background.
> Henri Tānerore, a man of little ambition but endless tenacity, passed in his sleep at 217 years old, on the same sunny morning that his great-granddaughter was born.

"It's wild. A week ago, I didn't know I had a sister or brother living. Now I have Angron and Yana" You say.

"I mean, honestly, she has Ravi's eyes and temperament. She also kind of looks like ya ma. Though she is taller." Uncle Kai says.

"And she can handle herself in a fight, that's for sure. I've seen it." Arona says and Yana smiles.

"I am glad. I didn't know I had a family, I was raised by an elderly couple, but I always felt a bit out of place. This means a lot to me too Kolinasi." Yana says.

"Da is gonna be stoked." You say and Kai Barks a laugh.

"Ravi is gonna bout do a backflip when he see that he has not one, but two successful and intelligent children that are warriors." Kai says and Arona looks at her father then at you and she sits down next to you.

The four of you joke and laugh for a little bit, and you talk. Like a family would, with a bit more banter than usual because Yana needs to learn to banter. This goes on, and then Arona looks up to you.

"Koli, it's a lot, but you have always had us. Sure your different, but you neva have been alone. Ya, Angron he got your DNA, and whoever that man is and that woman who birthed ya, they may be ya father, but they aint your family." Arona says and you put your arm around her and hug her.

"Except Angron, he and you are a lot a like ya? Your both big an goofy an fight really good." Arona says quickly after your hugand you playfully nudge her.

"This goof is Captain. Speaking of, we are almost late for dinner! I gotta runna errand first" You say and Your family is fine, and lets you head off.

You walk down to Nasi's quarters, where Erhapti is vigilantly guarding the entrance.

"Good girl. Paw." You say holding out one of her treats and she smiles and gives you her paw.

"Good. Now, Leap for it!" You say tossing the treat in the air and she grabs it and you catch her and open the door.

To Nasi looking over the two napping Jokaero in Nasi's hammocks which are normally filled with parts, that are on the floor.

"This is the best sign I have seen in ages." You say and Nasi nods.

"They played with some of the stuff I gave them. Also, I am sorry captain." Nasi says giving you the eyes of sorrow he had once before

"What happened?" You ask Nasi
>>
>>4957556

"They played with your A.T.E and made it look like this." Nasi says handing you the artificial third eye. You study it. And, for whatever strange reason, not only does it feel right, but the mana is right, hell the machine spirit is the most peaceful you have ever encountered.

"Well, Nasi, it doesn't feel broke and I am sure they got to it before you could stop it." You say

"Yeah, I have your gear out of the way, but they made like a sword shark and went straight for it. I hid away the rest of your stuff. I hope you can still navigate!" Nasi says.

"There is only one way to find out you say."

Have something I worked. A future champ of the Legion.

HEROES OF DE'LORMOSA
> Aperahama; the Red Dragon's Bane, the Devil's Anguish, the White Shark, Bearer of the Storm-Spear, the Kingly Son. He has earned a great many titles and names over the years. Some gifted by family and comrades, others the last cursed words spoken by his enemies with their death rattle.
> Not a true-born son of De'lormosa, he was rescued as a boy by the Eleventh Legion when they fought against the mad cyber cults on ||REDACTED||. Keen and great of will, he was found compatible with the gene-seed of Kolinasi and made a brother. The Librarians quietly thought this an omen of things to come, and a scant twenty years afterward they would be proven right when a breach in the Gellar Fields of a friendly Naval vessel brought him face to face once more with the slaves of the bloated Red Worm.
> One of only seventeen survivors aboard the ship, he was forever changed by the encounter; he would smile and sing with his kin and brothers-in-arms certainly, but there was always a dark cloud hanging over his soul. As if he could not truly rest while his abominable foe remained.
> It is known by Inquisition records and honestly given statements that Aperahama would go on to fight the bloodthirsty servants of the Raging Beast many times over his lengthy service, as if they were drawn to him, and it is theorized by sages on the occult that the World-Ender desired to enslave this brave son of the Eleventh as an insult against Kolinasi. And yet, no matter how many foes were sent, they would all be laid low by the Relentless One.
> It is often remarked that had Aperahama been of the mind to, he could have led as Chapter Master. He certainly was not without the compassion and wisdom of a Big Man, or the strategic acumen necessary of any worthy candidate. Rather, it seems he preferred to serve his home and kin as a wandering champion, going wherever needed most.
> His title 'White Shark' is known to have been both a jest and compliment on the part of his brothers, given his many Noctolith tattoos that spiraled and covered every inch of his body, and "That when he chased down the bloody bastards, the last thing they'd see was the whites of his eyes."
> Three portraits hang in the great memorial hall of the Legion depicting his likeness; the first rendered on the day of his initiation by his mentor, one by his adopted daughter, and one on the day of his final departure.

"Where do you mean to go Grandfather? If you only wish to travel again, the Navy would be happy to have you."

"Nay lad. Where I go, ya cannot follow. 'S too dangerous, even for a Big Man. Even for Astaryes."

"Sounds like some right foolishness then to go alone. 'Specially with so many that care for you."

"Because it is something that must be done, and I would never endanger another with such a task."

"And what is so terrible that you would leave all of us, your home and people behind?"

"I mean to kill a god."
>>
>>4958633
Well, depending on the god he might be fine, some aspects of Khaine are made for jobbing after all.
is it some sort of Daemon Prince or Greater Daemon of Khorne, a lesaer warp being or fucking Hashut?

"This can wait till after dinner, ya?" You ask Nasi and he nods and gives a thumbs up. You hoist him on your shoulder and you walk to the main dining hall.

"You ready for dinner Nasi?" You ask him and he nods

"I eat a lot more now! And Rongo is a good cook." He says back.

"Don't tell him it too often or it gets to his head." You say and he nods.

"Captain what's Pygmallius? I know he's not a human, is he a xenos?" Nasi asks and you are shocked by not only his statement but how he could possibly come to that conclusion.

"Why do you say that?" You ask.

"Well, humans in armor have passing vital signs, and he doesn't. And he is too smart to be a robot or a servitor" He says.

"Nasi, can you do me a big favor?" You ask and he looks at you.

"I will promise I will tell you, but you have to keep it a secret. Pygmallius isn't a xenos. We'll go over it with the old man and he will explain it to you." You say and he nods

"Ok. I am good at secrets." He says and you tossle his hair. When you get to the main dining room you have found that most of the feast, and local delegates are present including Angron, who, is wearing something more formal. The Dining Deck, has multiple areas including a private officer mess, however, you have as a rule, kept it open to anyone who wanted to eat there. Also you kind of use it more as a meeting debriefing area.

"Kolinasi!" Angron says as you come in.

"Who might that be?" Angron asks pointing to the child.

"This is Nasi, one of the ships primary engineers. He's been with this ship longer than I have." You say and he puts out a hand and Angron gives it a shake, and you put Nasi down. Rongo looks up at you, and so does the apprentice cook, another chain breaker, and you nod. Rongo then begins to start signaling the food is ready.

"No need to stand on ceremony lads! We did good!" You shout and and there is a round of cheering. You bring Angron over to the serving table and introduce him to various foods he hasn't tried yet, which has caught his eye. And food you haven't seen yet.

"Rongo, what are these red things?" You ask.

"Tomatoes, or at least that's what the locals call em. I tried em. They seem to be good for a lot of things, but I fried em up in the normal batter over there, those ones are for adding to the food as a side. Also I am certain it helps prevent scurvy." Which is a life saver literally. A good source of vitamins is essential to all this travel. So long as you can continue to grow them.

"What do the locals use it for?" You ask angron who shrugs.

"I have only seen them used in big fancy dinners, they would go with greens or be used as some kind of sauce.." He says grabbing one of the fried ones.

"Though this is delicious, though- to be fair, probably not as healthy as it raw." Angron says.

"You know a lot about food." You say

Yeesh Dropped my trip.

___

"One of the other gladiators was a cook. He would go on, and on about it. He at least died with a full belly." Angron says.

"In the arena?" You ask.

"Oh not at all. He died when training near a cliff. Fell right off." Angron says and you are a bit shocked by that as you migrate to what has become your 'normal position' you find the usual suspects at the captains table. Your honor guard, uncle, arona, Jera, Nasi, but also Cinncinatus and Trajan. And oddly enough, your Navigator, whom is talking to the bluer tinted gladiator.

As you sit down a space is cleared for Angron, at the much larger table, which was made this way out of necessity.

The dinner goes well enough and Angron, and yourself, both like the strange sword fish, as it is called. Afterwards, many of the people begin to assemble, and have business to discuss with you, before you leave. But before you go many ask for a bit of shore leave to get some trinkets, food, and gear. You and Jerah both let them go, but before he goes he asks for a quick word. Which is exactly what Trajan and Cinncinatus want. At the same time as the Old Man calling.

First-

What time for Shore Leave to end?

> 24 hours, gives you and Angron more time, and the crew more time
> 20 hours, or basically around when it gets dark tomorrow
> 18 hours, there isn't too much time to spare
> 16 hours, you do have to get a move on.

Second
What order do you talk to them?
Rank the order of the four

>Jerah
>Cinncinatus
>Trajan
>Old Man

___
>>
>>4959791
> 20 hours, or basically around when it gets dark tomorrow
> Trajan and Cincinnatus, then Jerah, then the Old Man
Aside from bringing little Nasi, I think we should have Angron along as well. That dumbass cult leader had a point about keeping secrets; we might have to debate with Angron over whether or not allying with a Man of Iron is worth the risk, but it's better having everything out in the open.
>>
>>4959791
> 18 hours, there isn't too much time to spare
In case some don't return in time we would still have some daylight to search for them.
>Jerah
He said it was quick
>Trajan
He is one of the guards thar Angron gave the clear right? He probably wants to join the crew because the free man and the slaves don't trust him, so also should be quicker to deal with.
>Cincinnatus
>Old Man
I have no idea what they could want, just putting old man last because we have a time limit talking with Cincinnatus

HEROES OF DE'LORMOSA
> Kahurangi Atareta; Chief Techmarine of the Eleventh, Shield of Jherost IV, Thunder-Tongue, Heritor of the Terrowatt Mantle.
> With a legend 500 years long, Kahurangi's story is as fantastic as any champion of the legions. Born as the humble third child of lay-mechanics, he spent his formative years playing and toiling in the heart of a grand Crusade-Era vessel.
> Had it not been for a twist of fate and perhaps the mysterious will of the Omnissiah, the boy who would become most powerful Machine-Speaker since Kolinasi himself might have lived and died in peaceful obscurity; content in his work easing the hurts of the glorious battleship.
> Instead, he and his kin barely withstood a tremendous assault by Ork Freebooterz, saved in the final hour by the 11th Legion and its auxiliaries. Found clenching a broken, bloodied wrench over the corpses of his parents murderers, Kahurangi would bear a black hate for the Greenskin filth forever more.
> Aside from his life-long passion and the prodigious intellect that is his namesake, Kahurangi was a master of verse and poetry. His songs and words could calm even the most ferocious machine-spirits. A collection of his works is carefully maintained on De'lormosa, where his wisdom can be studied and revered by new generations.

After so long, they had found her. Stolen away by heartless fiends and avaricious waerloch of the vilest kind.

The Aurora. Secunda Mater. Hine-Raumati.

His fondest memories had long been clouded by darkness, knowing that she was chained by data djinn and daemon sorceries somewhere.

Now, vengeance would be had. The Moka of many dark years would be repaid. Friends and colleagues of many stripes had answered the summons. Navy. Mechanicus. Ordo Malleus. And bless them, two-hundred warriors of the War Hounds ready to bury their axes in the foe.

The Summer Maiden was in the Maelstrom, tortured and deformed into a shadow of herself. His twin hearts ached, but he knew what must be done. While the enemies main forces were distracted, he would teleport past their defenses with the device given to him by the strange masked dancers. To the heart of the Gloriana.

The bomb would do the rest.

He would die with her. She deserved better than to be alone in her final hours. A part of him prayed that there was some ember of her spirit remaining, beautiful and defiant , he would die with her.

Perhaps, he wondered, they might be born again. If the Sea of Souls was impossibly kind. If the Emperor and Omnissiah willed it so. A better life. A kinder life.

"I am coming, Hine-Raumati" he spoke with conviction. "And nothing will stand in my way."
>>
>>4960367
Little typo in there, but I think it turned out well enough.

I've been trying to write these characters as existing in whatever window of time Old Man likes, and with an open-ended fate; so Aperahama might still be out there like the Kaldo Draigo of the Eleventh, and Kahurangi might've escaped the detonation of the Harlequin bomb with Hine-Raumati's spirit piggy-backing on the way out.
>>
>>4960385
Who was the stick in the mud that named that Gloriana?
Whoever he is, he must be transfered to serve under one of the joke fleets in repentence.
Kolinasi wills it.
>>
>>4960388
Probably some Administratum chump. It's why she has other names. Better names! Names that are beautiful and have meaning.

> inb4 sufficiently powerful Machine-Spirits/AI that aren't corrupted by Chaos can become 'Daemons' of Order.
> Kahurangi's spirit is guarding the Summer Maiden in the Noosphere as a great shark composed of iron-clad code and blazing blue light.

So, I hate non interaction, but I cannot post tonight, I will be posting tomorrow. So that gives more time for deliberation, it's mainly due to the fact I have to be up earlier than normal by far, for a drug test and other things for final new job screening whilst they are running the background. Hopefully everything goes well, as while I am assured to pass the drug test the other screening is a bit different and I don't want to go into detail but just wish me luck.

That being said- as I want to keep interaction high, we will do a little thing which I was going to wait until later in this chapter for, but right now works too I guess.

Arnoul De'saan once again looked at his navigation charts, his hands going to his face.

He didn't want to know how some would handle this.

The situation was a quagmire.

He had to choose between two different fronts, and areas to push into, having successfully routed the recent migration. Iap, the last planet the legion went to fought for what will probably be a great agri world. Most of the Charadon sector, has been full of mineral rich and resource rich planets. And fierce fighting the whole way with multiple absurd enemies. The good news was, that bonds with the Mechanicus has increased especially after discovery of Metallica. The integration of several Terrawatt clan members has been, quite helpful in these cases.

However, the impending quagmire, were the multiple fronts that had multiple threats to deal with, and the fact that the eleventh had gotten another nickname besides "The Temerity" which was "The Phantom Legion" as they were so far ahead communication was almost impossible. Going further in any direction, would almost certainly bring trouble with how supply lines were developing. However, there were some options

>To the Direct East, the Main Crusade Fleet was pushing, and potential to meet up with the Emperor Himself.

>To the Direct North, the battle brothers of the War Hounds were directly campaigning, good allies to meet up with.

>To the Direct West, the Primarch Ferrus Mannus leading the Iron Hands in his offensive.

>To the Direct South, Incalpeta Terminus, the supposed rally point at the southern edge of the known galaxy and the legion is far ahead of schedule.

Then there were the rumors

>To the Far South East a planet that would have viable resources and be good for a future rally point

>To the Distant North East past a localized warp storm, the seventh legion wages war

>To the South west, as unbelievable as it sounds, human settlements supposedly dealing with Aeldari

Which do you choose to guide your legion to legion master?
>>
>>4960985
North West is not an option because you just came from that way.
>>
>To the Direct South, Incalpeta Terminus, the supposed rally point at the southern edge of the known galaxy and the legion is far ahead of schedule.
>To the South west, as unbelievable as it sounds, human settlements supposedly dealing with Aeldari
What happend to the elf called angel is ahe still with us?
>>
>>4960985
Going by what you wrote it looks like
> Ferrus might be diving into Ork territory
> Emps is pushing into the Dominion of Storms
> The War Hounds are cutting a path toward the Ghoul Stars
> The direct south is the area bordering Macragge and its allies
The localized warp storm sounds like it might be near the Somnium Stars and Malfactus area. The other option I'm unsure of.

Personally, I think we should;
> Venture to the Direct North: the battle brothers of the War Hounds were directly campaigning, good allies to meet up with.
Aside from being super appropriate for the two brothers legions to be so closely tied, it's also tactically wise; it's always better to have an ally that compliments you, and whom can watch your back. The 12th can handle the ground game, the 11th will secure local void superiority.

> Send a detachment of reinforcements to the Direct West, where the Primarch Ferrus Mannus is leading the Iron Hands in his offensive.
Putting a uniquely talented force at his disposal could help build bridges between the Legions and of course gives him other options besides all-out assaults. Just because you're a Primarch doesn't mean you have to be a one-trick pony!

>>4961180
I think she might still be resting while the fat fuck is dealt with.
>>
>>4960985
>To the South west, as unbelievable as it sounds, human settlements supposedly dealing with Aeldari
Let's deal with Caldera before Vulkan burns it to the ground.
Arnoul being from Luna, he should know the stigma of being called a traitor, so he is either going to be extra zealous, or atleast spare some of them.
If he somehow knows the Luna High Rider refugee in Nuceria, it's going to make meeting his genefather very awkward
>>
>>4961180
You are going to find out very soon.

Also good news. It sounds like all my testing went well. I may need an additional thing, but it sounds like I did it. So now, I wait for a start date.
>>
As Arnoul De'Saan charted his course towards far reaches that few have ever dreamed of, he wondered when he would meet with his Primarch.

__

"Spirits be mad Jera are you sure those kinda numbers are accurate?" You say looking at the outrageous mineral deposit charts and scopes that Jera taught you how to do, yet neglected to do on this planet. Largely because you were rescuing Angron. Not because you were busy and forgot. You were going to do them later.

"Kid, I have watched you grow before my eyes, but I have done used the junk scanner and mineral scanner for ages. This planet is rich with the ore we need for those reactors, and they are in locations where it won't be a big deal. This planet, with all that's in it, could get there own ships, if we brought the old mans flyin scaffold" Jera says

"Jero mate we need a better name than flyin scaffold or flyin printer." You say

"Agreed on that cap. I see that you saw my Moka." He says

"It's about right, it's the biggest Moka I have ever seen." You say

"Ya, you get part your cut a little early." He says and tosses you a bag. Inside is a ring that is intricately made of gold and, it feels like Palladium. It has a machine spirit inside it. What's odd is it looks like it was made for someone, or something, with a bigger finger than even you, or at least adjusts to that size.

"What is it?" You ask

"That is, according to the new lad you recruited Pygmallius, who needs a shower by the way he smells like he's dead, is a digitech plasma ring." He says pattin you on the shoulder and you are shocked by how awesome such a weapon can be in such a small size.

"I got enough for each big man, their wife, and three for each of my hand! Each one does a different thing." You then pause.

"Ya know Jero I aint a married man." You say and he looks at you

"The way I sees it you got three different brides with ya honor guard, but You didn't look in the bag careful enough. And besides the real girl you care about most doesn't need a ring." Jero says tapping on his temple before going off to take care of his rounds before going on leave. You look in the bag, and there is a smaller ring stitched in with a delicate shield pattern on it. You can feel the machine spirit humming, and you guess it's a shield. Then you see a very delicate wrapped object with a ribbon that says 'for Erihapti' that looks like some sort of treat.

"THATS HOW SHE GETS SPOILED!" You shout

"I ONLY DO THIS SO SHE DON'T THINK I AM A SNACK WHEN SHE GETS BIG!" Jera shouts back from the command deck.

"AND TELL THE CREW 20 HOURS. GIVES US TIME TO LOOK FOR EM IF THEY DO SOMETHIN STUPID." You shout

"AYE CAP" He shouts back
>>
>>4962108
__

You walk down to meet with Cinncinatus and Trajan, as they each promised to be quick.

You talk to Trajan first, as he is the first one you spot.

"I hope I am saying this right, Captain Koli-Naasee Kayko Waterey?"

"It's Kolinasi Kaiko Wahtiri, and while each name is special, it's alright. Trayy-Jaan is weird for me." You say and he lets out a chuckle.

"I am one of the Commanders of the Defensive Guards, and Armies. I have been working to defend this city most of my life, and you take this, and thus the empire, in less than a full day. I have one question, what are you plans do you have for this planet when you are gone? You just intend for it to self rule? I understand the appeal. Most of the high nobility was inbred and, to be quite frank, corrupt. Many of them never left their region of the city. Most of them didn't leave the city. Only a few like myself in the military actually have been to the fronts or elsewhere."

"I appointed you, and the council as a whole, to find out a system that works. I came to rescue my brother, stop any ganth slavers, and find out where they are heading. So far I have an incomplete picture. But I am working on it. I will return shortly after I go investigate Olympia, I may need reinforcements, so those that wish to join can. I have no intention to press gang anyone." You state then you think on the report.

>> Make a copy of the report that you got from Jera give it to him
>> Let him know of the deposits
>> Tell him nothing yet. Wait till tomorrow after talking to Angron to confirm if this is a good idea.

--

After your brief chat you meet with Cinncinatus.

"I saw the Grand amount of supplies you have gotten." Cinncinatus says

"Indeed. What need do you have of me Cinncinatus?" You ask

"Kolinasi, I am a simple man. I have served military before, and worked as my current job, and farmed. I do not like the idea of ruling. I actually despise the idea. You asked of me to serve. I did. I have liberated my people from the high riders. If I must, and I mean must then I may consider the idea. However, I ask that you find someone else to take up this mantle from me, even if it's just consular rule." He says.

>> Let him resign, it takes a strong man to turn down rule
>> Ask him to stay on the consulship until you come back, it isn't too long- and it won't take too long to find a replacement.
>> Ask him to stay on until a new government is formed, then the people can choose someone else.

__
>>
>>4962111
You walk back to a more intimate, at least for you, part of the ship. Here the machine spirit humms peacefully, and few disturb you here.

"Alright Old Man, we got a lot to talk about and you said this would be quick." You say over the comms

"Ya Kolinasi, I did. When you get back we will have a big talk, I promise. I did some work ups. We got our first knights for the knight house up an walkin." He says, which is good news!

"That's great Old Man, what else news wise?" You ask.

"We actually got people from all over comin to the islands. You may have taken mantle of war chief, but now people from all over the planet are comin to try to meet you. That bein said. This aint that. The important thing is simple. Gonna get it out of the way. " The Old Man clears his throat, and the pause is deafening.
_

In your Millenia of life, it's odd. You never thought you would find someone who you would have to treat like a son. Kolinasi, when he was much, much younger, had the kid name of Keiki Mokupuni. Everyones child. This didn't last long as nickname, as Kolinasi readily and readily proved himself.

He learned from everyone. Women, Men- even other older children. Sure, Ravi was clearly the father. But, Kolinasi, never treated you poorly and he actively sought you out.

Over a thousand years ago, when the first people started colonizing due to machinations of your colleagues, if you told them who you were, would they care? Would they even know? Would it mean anything?

These men on this island, if they heard that the reason they were tall and strong was due to your work would they believe it?

Kolinasi, he would listen. He has listened to you, talked, and collaborated. These works, you and him go over, make you feel like you are doing something great again. If he wasn't busy hunting down the ganth. If he wasn't trying to make everything right. Then he finds a Man of Iron of all things! Could a man of gold made Kolinasi? It seems logical. There are some who it could be. The one, one the screen. The woman. She looked familiar, and honestly, was not to be too trusted. You look at your battery. The Comms, run on quantum nano batteries, would last probably until the elements half life crapped out 20 million years from now. The batteries you were making now, on the new ships? If you found some Transuranic elements or something better- maybe a century before refuel. Then The real reason you called.
>>
>>4962112

Your life extending battery. The reason for your immortality. The leak. It can be fixed. But the element needed, Stable Moscovium, is so incredibly rare. There is many last minute options you can do, but- after all this time you still feel like you have so much to do. You see Kolinasi on your chart. Olympia is near a source, but to your astonishment- Nuceria itself! has a slight reading, if the pings from the something fierce and the technical data readout you received upon the approach are true. You don't want to risk Kolinasi. But, he is the only one who can save your life. Otherwise, you have not seven years like you thought, which, with the recharge since Kolinasi's gift made closer to 70, but more like seven months.

PICK ONE
>> Get to the point. Tell him what you need, and why. If he can't get it on Nuceria, he can get it near olympia, come back and fix ya up.

>> Tell him the material you need. He doesn't need to know why.

>> Come clean on it all. You don't know if he's gonna succeed, he needs to know everything in case.
>>
>>4962111

Considering the lengths kolinasi has gone to, i see him trusting his brother to manage his own world and wouldnt want to step on his toes. I see him wanting to help the old man even if it delays us.

As for leadership: theres nothing worse than a unfilled power vaccum, especially in a newly founded governing body.

I want to give him a heads up so he doesn't think that we tought he was untrustworthy, but I want the decision to be Angron's.

I guess he really takes after his namesake. The Nucerian Republic is going to make this man a legend.

"Kolinasi, how much time do you have?" The old man asks.

"Actually a lot more than I thought." You say.

"Well mate, this is gonna be a while. I am gonna give you everything straight to the point." The Old Man says.

"Alright Old Man, shoot." You say.

"My Name is Doctor Mattias Longorious Archivaris , Son of Thomas Normalus Archivarus. I Changed my name multiple times, because the next part is what's important, I am older than dirt and it's hard to say."

"Aye, old man, you are older than old." You say to him

"Kolinasi, young man, it's more complicated. There are very few, a lucky precious few like me. Mine have, for ages helped mankind develop. Some of us were gifted long life. Others, other gifts. My understanding, allowed me to create my battery. What allows me to stay alive indefinitely so long as my ship charges. My battery, is dying. I sprung a leak." The old man says in a tone that is incredibly uncharacteristic of him.

" I need an element that is on both Nuceria, and near Olympia. It's able to be scanned by your small fighter craft. It's called Moscovium. It's incredibly rare in it's stable form. It's on it's stable form on Nuceria. I need it to expand my lifespan so I can continue to do all the great things we seek to do." He says and one of your hearts skips a beat.

"Old man, that"

"Don't interrupt an old man ramblin. Kolinasi. I came from the same planet you did. I left in exile. People wanted to use my knowledge for horrible reasons. They wanted to do some terrible things. So I left. I had a few students, pass on their works while I was gone. I imagine the results aren't that good. I don't think I am responsible for the Ganth, but I see in your body type something similar to what I have worked on before. While fleeing, I took up a new mastery, mechanics, physics. I wanted to see how far I could test and push structures and materials. I wanted to see what I could do. So I improved my battery, my mind, and I have made great tools of war. Devices, you couldn't even comprehend. When I was seeking peace, the Men of Iron started changing. Not many Men of Gold were left, and the Men of Stone were content to their tasks. My kin were not near me. So I went as far as I could. I met up with some scientists, that wanted to Colonize a water world. They needed a geneticist. So I worked as Dr. Martin Thompson. I showed them how to make many a beasty. How to build many things. How structures could be improved. Then the war against the machines happened. So we went deep underwater and messed around with the atmosphere. Took us off scanners. The comm, you have. It's my old one." The tone of the Old Man, has changed you are worried what he may say next.
>>
>>4963622

"I heard for centuries, calls. The same signals. From Terra. Begging me. Pleading. To join the fight. To slay the men of iron. I couldn't. How can you kill your grand children. How could you kill something like that? The calls stopped. A few days before you showed up, I got one more call on the comm. A plead. From someone I knew. Someone I didn't trust. She had misgivings about a man she was working with. She had misgivings about every man she ever met including me. She, had issues. Maybe I was bitter. I could have answered. I could have told her what I thought. I didn't. I threw the comm into the ocean. I wanted to be forgotten." He sighs and pauses.

"Kolinasi, I think that was yer actual mum. I wouldn't want to find her. She called out to me, and somehow, she managed to find me, through you. I have been looking back on my life. I never fought. Sure I could have. I even got in a few scraps. Never have I been to battle though. I had my mind, and my inventions to do that for me. What I am trying to do is redeem myself. If I help you, if I help rebuild, maybe mankind can do better. When you get back, when I die."

"Old man you aint gonna d"

"I aint immortal. Something has my number. I know it. I can live forever, but I sure as shit don't want to. When I die, you inherit all my possessions, including my personal ship. It's a lot bigger than you think. But when you get back, once you get me the Moscovium, I aint gonna look old anymore." He says, causing even more confusion to you.

"Oh? You gonna magically get younger?" You ask

"No. I am going to scientifically regenerate my body to a degree, and de age myself. I am then going to add additional organs, and pump myself full of drugs. I imagine I will be a little shorter than you, and probably as strong. I am gonna use the battery for one more cycle, but I am tired of hiding. I am going to make things right. I am gonna teach you every damn thing I know, and before your papa gets here. Cause I know for a fact he is lookin for you." He says.

"How can you explain that old man?" You ask.

"I got weird traffic over the comm. There are only 5 of these in the known universe. Yours, Mine, and three on Terra, except their signal is gettin weird, so they are movin." He says.

"What do you need me to do?" You ask
>>
>>4963625

"I need a small chunk of Moscovium, and I need the two following elements, which are also on the planet, which makes me really wonder what the hell happened to Nuceria in the past. I need Palladium 102, and Rhodium 103. Both the size of a fist if you can get them. Then I need you to ask Angron what greens he and the strongest gladiators eat and get a mess of em. Then I need a lot of Tantalum like as much as you can spare. Finally, and this is the only way this is workin, I need you to use the spectrometer. You are gonna be lookin for a weird gold." The old man says rattling of the list of strange isotopes and elements

"Old man what are you doing?" You ask.

"I am going to be essentially tuning myself up. I have more knowledge than any geneticist in the galaxy save maybe a few. I am creating a special thing, using my knowledge. Also we are making some bootleg Auromite." He says causing you to cough. Auormite?!

"Old man you said that stuff is impossible to get." You say

"That's why we are making some, you are gonna have to pick up stuff on olympia for that too. I am also makin yer armor. I think, if I make some tweaks I can make something unheard of before." He says.

"How long should it take? Findin this?" You ask.

"A few hours? Hauling it for you won't be that hard. You have exact coordinates on the ship, though gettin to it will be tricky. I don't know if they are in mines or in the earth deep or what, but it's all in the same general area, save for part of it. The Moscovium, is in a different area than the other ingredients." The Old Man says.

"Also, and I know this is weird, I need you to get some goats, dairy goats that are also wool goats." The old man then says haphazardly.

"We have plenty of goats old man why do we need weird goats like that? Island Dwarf Goats make the best milk and cheese and the witches have the shaggy horn goats that make them nice sweaters that everyone wants for the trips to the cold." You point out, not too mention the lack of room on your ship for much more livestock.

"Science Kolinasi! Back in my day, some scientists were able to cause a goat to create spider silk using the same mechanism as they would create milk." He says, you hear this then pause, begging the important question

"Then what did the kids drink?" You ask.

"They drank Milk as normal, just other goats would feed them. Though I have a more elegant solution."

"Old Man if you say have a goat drink silk"

"HA! No, we just have the silk sacks in different udders. I am a talented geneticist not a hack. I need the crossbreed so I can make something that may be really useful with the wool. So long as I can figure out a way to shear it without hurting the goats." He says.
>>
>>4963627

Well Kolinasi, which crazy task do you do for the Old Man (Who you hope isn't going senile) first?

>> Fetch the fancy goats, those will be by far the most taxing challenge.

>> Go get the Moscovium, you know where it is at, and you don't need too much.

>> Go grab the elements requested, as you also know where they are, but there are more so it would be more beneficial to get first

>> Go ask Angron about what veggies he eats, which should garner an interesting response.

"Alright. You hold on Old Man." You say

"Also, your parent's are doin just fine. The island weather is a probably gonna be in full hurricane season when you get back. And there have been more leviathan sightings. Also Jerah, will be happy to know, his ship is fully repaired." The Old Man says.

"He will be I'll tell him." You say. You walk out, and you first go up to the command deck, and inform Jerah of the good news, and he is ecstatic. You also grab a spare print of the mineral charts and slowly maneuver the fighter out, only to find Gella talking to Angron, and blocking your way.

"Captain, you need sleep too. Why are you taking the fighter out?" Gella asks.

"I have, well, actually Angron this concerns you technically." You say hopping out of the fighter.

"What is it?" He asks.

"Well, I need to ask to harvest some minerals for a person back home, he needs a bunch of random things to survive apparently and your planet has some of these rare metals." You say and angron shrugs.

"I wouldn't know much. I am a simple gladiator. That would be a good question for Trajan, who is in fact" Angron points to Trajan who is outside talking to many of the chain breakers and others. So you go over.

"Trajan I need to mine for some minerals, some exotic metals. A mans life is in the balance. I also have to find other odd items." You say and he nods sagely.

"Do you have an idea where these items are?" He asks, and you show the print out scan of Nuceria, which surprises Trajan.

"This is the most complete map I have ever seen. The territories where the metals are, they are not ours. As far as I am concerned you can go mine. Both of those areas are unoccupied. And that other territory is a volcano in the middle of a box canyon in country run by cavaliers. If you can obtain it, I will not stop you." He says

"Kolinasi, may I come as well?" Angron asks. And you oblige him. You get the 'mining gear' you have which is a heavy weapon and a broken anchor that you figure could make a good pick axe.

The Fighter craft is still able to perform admirably with everything in it. The flight, is fast enough, as the first deposit isn't too far from the city, however you know the Moscovium will be a bit further.

You come upon the mountain, which is the location of the first deposit. Parking the fighter on the mountain is tricky enough that it has Angron worrying.

"Relax brother, I park this on strange surfaces before." You say and he lets out a questioning grunt.

"Are you worried about your safety?" You ask.

"No I am worried about the fall. This is pretty high up." He says.

"We'll be fine." You hop out of the plane and take the scanner and heavy weapon for mining. Angron grabs the anchor. The scanner picks up multiple hits nearby, however they are attached to a nearby cave entrance or a path down the mountain.

You reach out and find the current of the Mana, and you look down at your readings. Angron looks at you confused, by your actions.

"Don't tell me you can actually sense the metal you are looking for." Angron says in disbelief

"Well, I won't know till I try mate." You say and he looks shocked. You realize you need something to help channel the current, so you take out a piece of island tradition, that causes angron to look with more skepticism. Copper Witchin Sticks. Though, your honor guard doesn't like the term 'witchin sticks' as they call them 'extremely primative divination rods' though deliah lovingly refers to the process as 'hillbilly hydromancy.' Scientifically speaking, it channels some source of latent or not so latent psychic phenomena, but in reality it's that on most of the islands if you dig it's hard to not find a well. However, with electrical, and metal, the witchin sticks actually enhance your sense of detecting mana and electricity to a note worthy degree. You hold out the sticks and walk toward the mine, which is also setting off the detector.

Angron follows you, still surprised at this.

"So you talked to Cinncinatus and Trajan." He asks as you walk down the mine, careful to make note of the directions of the sticks, and following the flow of the mana to the right heavy elements.

"I did ya." You say.

"What did they want?" Angron asks, a few notes of curiosity in his voice.

"Cinncinatus, wants to go be a farmer. I told him that if he left, the legitimacy of the council and government would be called into question. I respect him though. A man who would turn down such power for something simple like farming, is commendable. I asked him to stay on untill the government is formed." You say stopping as the sticks cross next to what looks like a very strong vein, and as you feel out the mana, you can definitely detect the two heavier metals.

"And Trajan?" He asks

"I think I have a way to help you and your planet brother. But it has to be the decision of you and your people, and I cannot make it. But it does involve these metals, and these charts that I have. But what is metal without the ability to process and mine it." You say.

"Ah. So that was your discussion. Well, Trajan is trustworthy I would appreciate you helping my people." Angron says.

You strike the earth with the weapon and pull the trigger. There is a loud noise and the rock is obliterated, and the ore is rubble on the floor. You throw them in the sack, after testing the two elements, both being the Palladium102 and Rhodium 103 which you toss into the bag.

"What are you doing with these metals?" Angron asks

"I honestly, am not sure. It is part of a cure. These are odd Isotopes, so maybe they do something." You say thinking that certain isotopes of elements can quickly treat cancers and diseases.

"What's the other metal?" Angron asks

"Tantalum. From the study of my pod"
>>
>>4965779

"Your what?"

"My pod. The metal thing I fell to the planet on, you had one too ya know." You say.

"I think that got scrapped and used by random people to make trinkets and weapons. That can teach you things?" Angron says.

"It was meant to. I learned quite a bit out of it. Tantalum is a good thing for medical equipment, because it's resistant to bodily acids and fluids and it's easy to work with. So, I guess implants." You say

"Like the nails?" Angron says with some scorn in his voice.

"Naw mate. The Nails were made out of a really weird alloy. And not all implants are bad. If you serve on a ship long enough you'll see that implants can be good." You say and you refocus yourself to find the hint of mana to the Tantalum, a different metal with a unique signature. You stretch out the sticks and begin again.

"Such as?" Angron says.

"Like an artificial leg or hand, teeth, or an instrument for a heart." You say mostly following the sticks and your feeling..

"Those, well, those could have saved the life of many a gladiator. Peg legs and hands don't do to well in the arena." Angron says.

"Yeah. It really helps for privateering. I am actually thinking of pickin up extra tantalum." You state following. .

"How much did you need?" Angron says as the sticks clink together nearby a large different colored wall.

"Not sure. Old Man said grab as much as I could get."

"Well I guess we get to breaking rock." Angron says.

It doesn't take you too long to liberate all the metal from the cavern wall, which is in a very large pile at your feet. Angron looks and helps you packing it into the fighter.

"You think I will be able to do something with those?" Angron says

"I think we all have different skillsets. It works for me, but I don't know if they will work for you." You say and Angron nods.

"How many are there of us?" Angron asks.

"Well, from the data fields on the pod, twenty of us, that I know of. There may be more or less. I don't really understand everything yet. I am just learning for myself. Hell, it took me a while to learn about our biology." You say.

"The regeneration, that is helpful." Angron says helping you load everything and you nod.

"So what's next on this list?" Angron asks
>>
>>4965780
"We gotta get a fistful of a metal that shouldn't really exist in most forms, this planet has it though, and." You pull out the chart to look at it. There is more than enough for you to take, however, you are not sure what it's applications are, and while there isn't as much as gold, which is a good baseline per your lessons, it's not too much rarer. It's just that it's all in one area.

"It's here. In good enough that a fistful shouldn't be a significant reduction." You say and Angron gives a curious look.

"Do you do this on every planet you visit or just the ones that have long lost brothers?" Angron asks and you laugh as you hop into the ship.

"Mate, this is the first time I have been to any other planet." You say and Angron looks worried but you are not quite sure why.

>That's why I wanted to give you these locations to you Angron, so you could bring it to the council to decide what you all should do with it. You could very easily mine it all, get some refinaries and factories and have plenty of wealth and trade, but that could also lead to corruption, polution and attract others that want to take it from ya. Ok lads, we still need two names to fill and we haven't decided or even really talked about it, so I looked through the first thread to get some ideas already given. Also I don't know shit about polynesian, hawaian or maori culture, it's all what other anons wrote.

First the ones we already have:
Name: Kolinaisi (at some point became Kolinasi) - means storm
Hunter name: Kaioko - sea with strong current
Man name: Whaitiri (it began being written as Wahtiri instead) - Maori personification of thunder

Now the new two names are probably the Big Man name and Warchief name or Victorious name.

Some suggestions that lost that vote
Kaholo - Nimble
Kalimana - Power of the Ocean and Diamond
Kaeo: Strong
Ailani - Chief, Leader
Haulani - Heavenly Ice, Royal ruler in Hawaiian

And now some names I put on google translate, soneone that actually have some knowledge please fix to actual names or deities related to them:
Uira: Lightining bolt
Tupuhi: Hurricane
Huripari: Cyclone
Taipori: Taipori

So far all of our names seem to be a reference to a stormy sea, like the one we fell on De'lormosa. I think we should stick to that theme, that's why I tried to get a few new names on that alley.
>>
>>4966423
Shit, I forgot to mention the names that lost the first vote too.
Alika
Keahilani
Anewa
Harata
These four were given by the old man
Kai - The anon said it means ocean, old man said it means other things too
Tupuhi - old man said it sounded cool
>>
>>4966435
Ok, probably should have searched the meaning before posting, but I'm not a smart man.
Alika - Of noble birth
Keahilani - Heaven's fire
Anewa - To fall
Harata - Free man
Tupuhi - Also means storm, it would be funny to pick this one.
Kai - Sea in Hawaiian, meal or food in Maori. Both mea ings fit on how we tought the islanders to fish Yum shark.
>>
>>4966448
Keahilani and Harata sound nice, though ide give Harata to angron if he wants it, as a private name between brothers.
>>
>>4966423
Turns out google translate also game me Tupuhi like that other anon, but with a different meaning, it must be a sign.
And I copied Taipori instead of saying it meant Typhoon.
>>4966456
Angron broke free, freed his people and became part of the council. That's a feat worthy of giving him a name in my opinion.
>>
>>4966423
>>4966448
They could also be Epithets for ourselves/Our Sons later on
>>
>>4966423
If it helps at all, the names for the three characters I wrote were intended to be titles as well, not their first given ones.

> Aperahama is 'Father of Nations'
I liked this one more for how it sounded spoken aloud than for it's meaning, though I do like the idea that his bloodline went on to achieve their own greatness.

> Kahurangi Atareta was literally 'Great Genius'
It was just the perfect fit for a man who was supposed to be one of the greatest Techmarines in the Legion's history.

As for the themes, I'd actually prefer them being varied. Kolinasi isn't a single-faceted character, and his many titles should reflect that. A great explorer, a destroyer of tyrants, a nurturing friend, a lover of life's simple pleasures, etc.
>>
>>4966481
Alika would be a good Big Man name for Waka, he would be the nephew of a primarch, grandson of a chief and son of a witch and honour guard.
An islander just doesn't get more noble than that.
>>

Sounds fine enough, but we should still stick to the traditions of the Big Men. A person's influence and authority should only be determined by their personal skills, talents, abilities, the connections and allegiances they make, the wealth they give to the people, the weight on their shoulders, etc.

It don't matter if your famous great-granddad Tangaroa slew the Three-Headed Dragon Turtle that ate a thousand ships, or that your mama Moira was the red-haired Fire-Singer that calmed an angry volcano with her enchanting voice; if you ain't done nothin' worth naming, you ain't pig shit kid.
>>
Kolinaisi became Kolinasi because my word processor started auto correcting it that way and I haven't gotten to a major write in where I can change it up until now, so I will do that. Most of these names are very hard to type on two devices. I shall go back to the old ways at once.

However, the meaning is relatively similar by one letter, however it would be closer to storms child if we were being hyper specific and focusing on the linguistics.

Some more fun names

Keanu means ice breeze

Kai means Fire in scottish, which is funny because each island has a different meaning for Kai

Iraia means The God Wrestler

Irirangi means The Spirits Voice

There are others.

I am going to update tomorrow. My work tonight what sketchy as hell and I need to get some rest.

You will need these names, oddly, because you will need to take care of a naming ceremony soon.

At this point, I think it would be fair to give Charon and Angron and Frank islander names. They've earned 'em.

Frank might have one, he helped some islanders before right?
But naming our hobour guard and the chainbreakers is great

"Brother, what troubles you? You are free." You ask.

"I am. And I find myself worrying for resources I didn't know existed, on a planet that only knew I existed for fighting for their amusement. What says you aren't like the rest? So far, as I have seen, you have been an excellent friend and leader, but -"

" If you are worried about us wanting to take the resources, don't. My people, well my tribes, well- we are more a lose collective if you want to call us anything. The only people that lead where I am from, can share."

"What?" Angron asks, and you forget he probably is not familiar with most of those concepts.

"You know how I keep giving my first mate the business?"

"The What?" He asks again, probably not understanding the terminology. A universal language would be really helpful. If only more people spoke binary. You sigh with a slight bit more empathy for machines than before.

"Gently taunting my first mate, you know"

"What?" Angron says again, and you realize, he's messing with you and you let out a little chuckle and you do a tricky move with the fighter which causes him to laugh.

"My people, if you cannot share, ya can't lead. If you cannot distribute resources, why should you have influence. Jera, he is supposed to be doin something like that. However it's takin him a while so we keep makin jokes at him." You say

"So you won't be takin much from my planet."

"Naw man. Don't want to be a rubbish man."

"Ok. So Big Man is guy in charge, Rubbish man is just a bad man." Angron says

"Yeah. Pretty much. Not a rubbish man in my crew. Honestly, not many rubbish men live lately. That I am aware of." You say and Angron makes a strange contemplative sound.

"That's why I want to give these charts and locations to you. You are a good man, clearly a big man- You can take this to the council and decide what to do with it. You can make the choices for good on this." You say.

"Well you are building ships. How does that change things?" Angron asks

"You can build them, when we are able to transport that to you. You can build great factories and refineries. But over time they create pollution, corruption and problems. You have to be careful with them. But with those factories and refineries, you can have people living like kings in comparison to now. My parents used to live in a straw hut. Now they live in a house made of... Concrete. The world is yours to conquer, but you also have the opportunity to make the world a better place. Sure it may attract people who want to take, but it's not my place to decide for ya." You say.

"I'll take the charts then. I will make this world good for men. Though- I do wonder looking at this chart if you missed something." Angron says.

"What's that?" You ask, still charting the course. As you grab the charts.

Because we are using our mana power and overcharging the detector right? So it means that if we are getting the small spot, noone else would be able to find it, because their metal detector wouldn't be on overdrive.
Or this is an obvious trap option and I'm dumb.

"Kolinaisi, was one of the rare primarchs like Alpharius who would not only actually ask for advice, but he would seek it out from others. He was innovation, intuition, but he had humility and a sense of humor. No. He wasn't as strong as Vulkan. He wasn't as charismatic as Lorgar. He would never be Horus or the Lion. But he never had to be."

Malcador.

"Wow. That's an amazing catch Angron! We only need a fist worth, and that way your planet has more of this Moscovium that the old man needs." You say.

"It's also not too far. It will make this easier, if I am reading your chart right." Angron says.

"How do you know how to read that convoluted thing?" You ask

"I-, I, I am not entirely sure. Oenomaus taught me to read and it was fairly easy. Things like maps, charts combat, they come easy.
Incredibly easy, and I don't don't know how to say this but I am able to understand people, their emotions, motives, and more. I don't feel comfortable lying, but I do not have your tick" Angron points out, the ridiculous theory that you make a strange facial display when you lie. Though the rest seems intriguing. It seems that you both have special skill sets, are all 'primarchs' like this? All designed for a task like different tools for a ship? You ponder this briefly.

"What do you think of me?" You ask

"You are generous, brave- almost stupidly so, paradoxically you are smart even intuitive from what I have seen, you have humor but I am not sure if it's you or if your humor is universal to De'lormosa. You have strange predatory and supernatural senses. You don't move like any human I have ever seen, you don't even move like me. Your fighting skills could use some work though. I think you probably have a lot of concern, love for your family. I haven't known you long enough to find too many flaws. You seem trusting though, some would call that a flaw. But everyone has problems I have anger issues that I really need to work on. If they put those nails in, well I don't want to think about it." Angron says.

"Yeah. I don't want to think about it either. I think I'd have a slight bit more anger issues than you mate." You say and he laughs.

It takes you less than an hour to get to the location. It's an area of a strange canyon with many strange rock formations you follow the detector to the cooridnates and it's almost impossible to land the craft as it's on top of a strange plateu . Almost. Though showing off in front of Angron had to be done.

"So we are looking for a strain of metal that"

"Glows in the dark?" Angron asks pointing to a rock that is glowing blue. You use the detector and it matches perfectly. Even reaching out with your senses, it's clearly the metal. A glowing boulder.
>>
>>4969692

"Why would nobody have taken it?" Angron asks.

"It's impossible to get up here for a person without something that can fly. A glowing boulder would only be visible from a plane, and it would look weird, but it wouldn't be anything worth investigating." You say.

"That, on the other hand." Angron points off, to what is clearly thousands of small fires. on the other side of the canyon.

"An Army." You say instantly recognizing it for what it is

"We have to get back to the city and warn them, this army is a little less than a days march away. What else is on the list?" Angron asks

"Do you promise not to laugh?" You ask

"How can one make a promise of such a thing when it is presented in such a manner?" Angron articulates and makes you realize he is also quite intelligent.

"Goats. We need a small herd, of Dairy/Wool goats. I also need greens or vegetables, maybe a root plant that you and other strong men eat. Probably due to it increasing testosterone levels- preferably, and this is assuming I can think like the person who is teaching me these things- one that is hardy and can grow on a variety of climates." You say. And Angron, Spirits bless him, chokes back a laugh and his face makes a strange contortion that makes you start to laugh.

"Goats? Plants? Ha! " He says.

"I am serious this is for genetic editing. I think." You say

"Are you sure it isn't a prank?" Angron asks

"Where you talking to Arona for long?" You ask

"Long enough apparently. But clearly you are serious. There is, oddly a type of goat that is just like that. They grow quite large. The nomads trade them in the market and use them as pack animals. Cinncinatus should be able to point them out. You should be able to get a herd or the makings of one easily. As for your plant, yes. There is one it is quite common, I can get it for us they have barrels of them in the arena as certain trainers buy the root for strength stew. The taste is stronger than it makes you though." Angron says and you look at him

"Mate there is a thing we call cant fish."

"What is that."

"It taste so bad you can't eat it. But it's good medicine. We also call it can't fish because you can't stop vomiting. I know I have different biology than most, but I had one and I emptied the contents of my gut. However it does work as a potent antivenom and toxin" You say.
>>
>>4969695
"What does that taste like." Angron asks and feel your stomach start to wretch a little and make a noise causing Angron to look at you.

"I can't easily describe it. Painfully bitter, sour and spicy with weird fragrant smells. Electrical fire. It's, why are you asking me to describe something so bad?" You ask and you realize you don't feel as disgusted you actually feel better.

"Painful memories only have the power you give it. You have no power over what transpired, so why let it hurt you continuously? Realize what happened and grant it no more power. I realize this, but I need to act on it more I think. I have a lot of passion, and anger at times, and sometimes I give into it. I need to be more collected, but I cannot neglect my talents and anger, as they can be powerful tools against certain foes. Though, to be fair I don't think I will try this fish it sounds not like something to try." He says. Angron has a powerful gift.

"That should do it. " You say after only harvesting a small hunk of the rock, enough for refining and putting it into the hanger.

"You are not taking more?" Angron asks

"Naw mate. You are gonna need more of this stuff if it does what I think." You say.

Two primarchs even without stealth focus are going to be more than enough to sneak by some guards even with augments.

We need to know what the army composes of so we can plan accordingly, or if we need to do some sabotage.
>>

My first thought (aside from sabotaging any machines they have) is that depending on the composition of the army gathered here, we can either sow confusion and disorder, or maybe convince a portion of the forves present to turn coat and join the Revolution.

If this army is professional, we could try to eliminate/capture commanders and squeeze them for information. If it's just nobles leading mercenaries, we could easily convert them to our payroll; after all, who wants to risk dying for a mile of land owned by some fat oligarch when this new government is promising a better life for you and yours?
>>
>>4969997
Gonna let you know, Kolinaisi can extend those senses far, maybe that far maybe not.

And as for what is going on, you need to think Roman history.

With Nuceria a lot of this I am seconding lore that is unestablished with roman history because it kind of makes sense.
>>
>>4969697
>> Scout out nearby. See the nature of the army.
Ok, so we conquered the big city that foreigners came to trade with, was the hub of communication and had an entire partition dedicated solely to house multiple mansion of the High Riders, not only that but it was were a manufcaturing plant for implants and high tech, and were a junta was planning a coup, so it most likely is the planetary capital.
This army can either be governors of the other regions coming to retake it and try to become heroes, rural landlords coming to investigate, since we are tecnically a foreign invasion, even if we had internal help, or slaves and freemen rebels co.ing to join.
>>4970050
Well, they are neighbors to Ultramar, it makes sense if that area was also colonized by the same roman larpers.
Do they also have the same custom were you can't bring weapons from outside, and you become a civilian when entering the city?
We have to watch out for a Sula or a Caesar crossing the rubricon.
Although it might be a Cicero rallying sicilian support, or spartacus coming to join.
>>
>> Do a brief scout to see if you can see the extent of the army
>>
A little tidbit I thought was interesting was that canon Angron followed an old gladiator tradition of discarding weapons that were damaged or broken. Kharne's battle axe was specifically one that was cast aside by Angron.

With the high-quality axe Kolinasi gifted him, he might never use another weapon. I wonder whether or not he'll continue that tradition, and others, like the Honor Rope.
>>
>> Scout out nearby. See the nature of the army

The thing about Gorefather/mother was it was a MasterCraft weapon built to suit him. But canon Angron was too mad/depressed to truly care, here it'd be different

You extend out your senses, seeing if you can find any mana that would be signature of a machine spirit. You find none other than the merry ones that are near you.

"We should scout them out before going to the city." You say

"I agree." Angron says.

You quickly fly the fighter craft so the forces cannot see it. You then disguise it once you get to the ground.

It doesn't take to long for you angron to find the encampment and you are both quiet.

"I didn't think it would ever happen. The capital falling in less than a day." A gruff voice says near the nearest watch fire

"Well I never thought we would cross the Gallan but here we are." the man next to the voice says, his voice only slightly less rough, likely due to the copious amount of humor and sarcasm.

"What do we even know about what is going on?" The gruff voice statees

"I heard that some off worlders scared off the allied fleet that protects us and knocked out the power grid." The other says

"Good. The power grid just benefits the riders anyways. When's the last time you'd seen a troop with power in their tent?" They continue

"Yesterday." Another voice says a bit older.

"General! You should be by the command tent!"

"Bold for a mere Triarii to assume the location of where a general should be. But you are right. I came into to check the lines." He says.

"Forgive us sir we had"

"There is nothing to forgive. The current government exiled us to fight on the frontiers for years, then on our return march it falls over night to an unknown party, rebels, and gladiators. It is our role to defend the people, and our legion while we only have 40,000 people on this march, is the best trained on this planet. No we don't have the weapons and power of the High Riders, but we have discipline and honor. Our warriors are worth 100 of their own."

"General, what if they don't want to fight? If the rumors are true?"

"The rumors were barely gotten from last minute reporting before a corrupt officer died. If it is some towering individual and Angron Invictus, I would personally ask Angron why he chose this path. He has proven to be a man of honor." And before the General can speak Angron steps into the light, and being a good brother you follow close behind.
>>
>>4970757
"And that honorable man, would tell you that he had no choice on this path." He says causing many troops to stand and the general to look a bit awe struck, but with no fear.

"Well. Tell me then, explain why you have an off worlder doing this deed?" the general asks.

"To save his life." You say

"They were to put the nails in him. His body is different. It would have killed him over time. I chose to save him. As for why we came here, it was to investigate the Ganth and put a stop to their operations. We didn't know that it would lead us to the walls of the high riders." You say then Angron nods

"We weren't alone. The free folk acted with us. In addition to gladiators. This didn't have to be this way, and if I am not mistaken you are General Gaius Scula Secondus." Angron states.

"You are correct. And you are Angron. The Angel of the Red Sands. The Undefeated. I can even see part of the honor rope that you have. Tell me, why would you go against your own?" The General asks

"They weren't even my own to begin with. They aren't even yours. The High Riders bought and sold people they found like cattle. People aren't property. Why do you defend them, when they have treated you so poorly? Last time I checked they called you a rogue and a brigand despite you being paraded through the Arena and I personally having to participate in a combat in your honor." Angron says causing a personal sting to the General who then sighs.

"I chose to head toward the city a while ago. Tomorrow we were to cross into the lands. I am guessing that is why the Army was assembled near the city, though judging by the number, I say it would have been quite the battle. We might have even lost." the General speaks. And you decide to open your mouth.

"Then we find ourselves in mutual positions." You say

"Oh how so? This Gladiator just overthrew a government I fought and defended and conquested in the name of for years."

"The government, or the nation? The Idea? Or the actual government? Because I met those high riders and you don't weigh as much as they do. Nor do you have the excessive chins." You say causing many soldiers to cackle.

"The government is corrupt true but the idea of our great nation. I do not want to see it fall to foreign influence as humourous and poignent as it may seem." He says looking at you directly as he says this.

"Mate. I don't want to conquer here. I came here to find out information on the Ganth, and save my brother Angron. It turned into a revolution as a result of my actions. I have no part of the government. It's all people from this area. Honestly maybe you should join it." You say and many of the troops, and And Agron, make approving grunts and nods and the general makes, the same face your da does when he admits you have a point without admiting. Which means-
>>
>>4970758
"Say you are right. How would I know that the process and government won't be influenced and you won't seek retribution if certain things don't go your way?" He asks

"The only way I am going to seek retribution if you continue trading with the Drukhari and Ganth or if I hear word from Angron that slavery is still a big issue." You say

"I would never work with those. If the price of true freedom for my people is equal freedom for all people, then I could agree to those terms." The General says.

"Then I will inform the city." Angron says.

"Before you go, there is another army. Not allied. We feel that they may be barbarians that were planning to exploit this. There numbers are quite vast. We will try to beat them to the city. But my men must rest." The General says looking to his men that are starting to wander off to their huts.

"It's a good thing I armed the rebellion." You say

"That's good, but if the city defenses were not taken out by a mythical weapon, this would be easier." The general says back.

"If I were to repair them, would you be able to keep the barbarians at bay?" You ask

"If the city defense grid is up, it wouldn't have fallen to a ship such as yours." The General says.

"Would the city rebellion and several men with good weapons work as a counter?" Angron asks

"That would too. But having that many guns on a short notice would be quite the feat." The General responds to angron

So they are more early republic, given cincinnatus and triarii. And they have a Rubicon equivalent too as this Gallan. I guess this rebelion could be seen as a parallel to the first Secessio plebis that formed the tribune of the plebs, only nore effective and violent due to having a slave rebellion and foreigner backing. Angron better watch out for that general though, man has the name of two dictators, not that the senate and patricians were innocent.

HEROES OF DE'LORMOSA
> The Lightning and Thunder; one of the most (in)famous collection of military forces from the oceanic world, these fierce and proud pilots are among the most audacious and wild in all the Guard. Though for all that the top brass rankles at their admittedly cocksure behavior and 'creative interpretation' of orders, their collective successes and far lower than average attrition rate means that they're in high demand for many a daring mission.
> Composed primarily of Lightning and Thunderbolt craft (and thus the moniker), they also keep a number of Avengers and Marauders among their squadrons. All of their craft are specially modified to endure the most horrendous of weather, and the aptitudes of every aspiring pilot is tested in De'lormosa's own mighty hurricanes; a terrifying baptism they lovingly refer to as 'Riding the Storm'. Later, after surviving their first experience in active combat, the pilot (regardless of gender) will be permitted to receive the intricate tattoos of fearsome thunder clouds and lightning bolts.

It's not like there aren't badasses and competents alike in the Guard and Navy; the writers just tend to portray them as bumbling morons to make their opponents and/or allies seem more impressive in comparison.

GW likes to wank over Space Marines, but the humbling truth is that there are probably tens of thousands of snipers, pilots, swordsmen, etc. who can handily beat their Astartes counterparts, but you'll never see or hear about them because a baseline human still only lives a century at best and the grand majority of mankind isn't fighting for their lives in the spotlight.

You sit down at your monitor.

Kolinaisi would probably be done by now, at least with the hard parts. Olympia and the rest, he would get back in time. That much is certain.

Though if this is to work. The whole ship must be online.

All of it. The old great ships could be run by just one man. Like yours. Invented by men of vision, forged by humanities finest craftsmen. Your ship. Well, technically yours. It was now anyways. You punched in the command line. You couldn't feel the machine spirits like Kolinaisi. Honestly, it's best not to tell him the true nature of them. If he knew, that would probably terrify him. Worse, if he ran into Martian Cultist. To tell him what they worshipped as a machine god?

The truth was, Kolinaisi had a powerful machine spirit bound to him and was part of his soul. You already told him that. You were going to have to tell him the next part. Eventually.

You punched in the command prompts and executed the code lines into the processor. You could hear the stations running in the deep.

Bitter Shoals was a perfect spot for your ship. There were enough islands, in a strange enough archipelago that your ship, parts of it, blended in to the islands with a little bit of creativity. That and a few thousand years of natural camouflaged. Of course that is of course why big boy visited, the electrical ship components attracted the beast. Yet more souls on you.

The running count. 1512. By choice, or lack thereof. Those you could have saved. Maybe with what you are helping Kolinaisi on you can reclaim more. Even if he wasn't here, you should have done this a long time ago.

You walk down to your "lab" which is really just an extension of your actual lab. It's more of an experiment on how much you could put into such a small space. You flip a key and the door comes open. The lights automatically turn on as you walk down the long abandoned hallway. It's still sterile. The lights still work. You follow the lines you painted to make it impossible to get lost to the command bridge. As you enter, you turn on the monitors and command stations.

"Fusion torches online. Reactors online. Systems.. OK. Stations... OK. Welcome." You enter in the command protocols and the machine brings up the options menu.

There was a lot you could do.

Pick the primary command function for your ship to process as you wait for Kolinaisi to return

Old man has the means to make an STC. Practically the only thing that will make Kolinaisi even more beloved by mars.
>>
>>4971998
Let me see what I think each option is.
Ammo is obviously old weapons, it could lead to volkite weapons not needing to be replaced with bolters due to difficulty in manufacture, atleast for our legion.
Research banks should be collections of old STCs from before the long night, and probably lost ones, given that it's the ones only a man of gold would have acess to.
Automata would be true robots, like the cybernetic legions, although being able to build new ones would be a great boon, it plus having a hidden man of iron can put De'lormosa in danger or suspicion.
Hyperscan would only make us know the progress of the great crusade, and be able to justify a bit of metagaming as in character, like going out and making a deal with blue toilet man for example. Honestly the least useful option, because I have no shame.
The projects would be something about genetic engineering, since it's Matt's specialty. Maybe creating somesort of hybrid animal soldiers ala impossible creatures.
I'm going with
>> Bring on research banks. It's time to bring back the light of old terra.
It should be the most useful overall, and we can ask Archivarius to change focus after we help him un-mata nui his ship, and evolve him from Old Man to gOld Man.

The old man plugged in a few keystrokes. "Computer, run voice recognition command test protocol." The old man said.

"Test protocol activated. Voice Command test: Successful. Any other voice command protocol users?"

"Run active surveillance memory dated ehhh 40 weeks ago. Play file primary entry port 2100"

"Playing" The old man listened and Kolinasi spoke

"Isolate voice."

"Voice isolated."

"Use isolated voice file as secondary voice command protocol user, promote to primary user as tied to 'last act' protocol." You say.

"User confirmed."

"Computer play good music." You say and computer begins playing more hectic energetic music.

"Computer play different time signature, use research play list." You say as various things light up in the bridge as more ancient instrumental music plays.

"Computer run research banks. Start research protocol, add in additional data from past- 500 years to add to environmental data and any additional study data from files marked as 'Kolinasi Field Data' Highlight any marked as 'Stonehall' and collate any data. Isolate any potential hostile AIs, and put them isolation/containment simulated hypercube. If containment fails jettison said containment to port bow, and immediately activate 'Leviathan Beacon' under 'snacktime' protocol. If containment holds, set to research protocol. Command understood?" You ask

"Command understood. Running protocols." You hear and there is a loud whirring as your hyper computers and quantum units blare to life. You realize that you haven't had a good meal in a while, and you will need something good for this kind of research.

"Computer access kitchen protocol." You say and more compartments become present.

"Computer, alcohol supply integrity "

"Supply is it at 48 percent." The computer says and you grimace and audibly cringe.

"Computer, is any tequila available."

"Tequila supply is nominal"

"Computer, get 1942 Don Julio if available, if not present next best option."

"Don Julio 1942 in supply."

"Great. If available, create enchiladas banderas, rice, beans."

"Available." The computer lets out

"Fantastic. Prepare two plates. I imagine I may have some company." You say as you hear, what is quite probably Ravi, the only person who has permission to check on you above, probably due to the electricity humming at these levels illuminating the area of the ship. Which the sea suddenly glowing for about 25km out would

"OLD MAN WHAT DID YOU DO-" Ravi says entering the room

"Ravi. Sit." You say motioning to a chair. The Big Man, not only in status but in size obliges you. You go over to the kitchenette and pull out the two meals. You set one up for him and pull out the bottle of the Don Julio and two small glasses.

"Old man, what did you do?" Ravi asks.

"Fired up me ship. It's just ya never bothered to ask how big it is."

"Old Man, the ocean is glowing. Why?"

"Because I am running the ship as it should."

"Your ship, is that big?" He asks

"If you want a tour it will take a month." You say.

"Well what is it you are doing?" Ravi asks

"Right now? Researching ways to improve things but I am also beginning the process of making sure this ship is ready for Kolinaisi when I die." You say

"You expecting that sometime soon?" Ravi asks

"Maybe. I am certainly passin before you though. But don't you dare throw my ass in that volcano mate. My soul still has business." You say, you are also- not really quite sure. You don't want to risk turning a blackstone volcano from inactive to active. Blackstone when activated is dangerous. If a whole volcano of noctolith is activated by your soul, that would probably piss off the nearby tomb world.

"Mate, as much as you done, you lucky you not gettin a Rubbish Man Burial and fed to the sharks."

"Well thank ya Ravi I am happy ya think so highly of me." You say pouring the small glass and placing the food next to him.

"What is this?"

"Good food and good liqour." You say putting down a fork and knife next to him and down next to you. You pour a small glass

"To the future Ravi." You say holding a glass out to him

"What on earth nonsense are you on about Old Man. What is this?" He asks.

"Mate. I am compiling research. I can build a machine that can set up anything I put in it's banks. Right now I am doing research to what things should be loaded on to it. Thing is unique. It can make other things, that can make things. Not like those little flyin house builders ravi."

"Those things are little mate? The flyin builders are massive. Which thank you for the house, but it still doesn't make up for my daughter takin in a raid." Ravi tells you. You know. Right now. You can stop his anger at you right now. All you have to do is tell em. 'Kolinaisi, your son, found your daughter and she is Yana in his Honor Guard. Yeah she look familiar, she's your daughter, dunce.' But, technically that is Kolinaisi's place.

"First eat." You say.

You hear the emergency Klaxxon on the ship blare. Three. Emergency port call end. Kolinasi had a switch installed that he could blare that at any time. Shit. You hit your com bead

"Kolinaisi are you havin a go mate?" You ask

"Jerah, I need you to take the ship up and get into position, there is an army haulin ass ya way to the city. We need you to hole up or stand an guard. Take manuevers you deem fit." Kolinaisi says.

You know he wants you to hold an overwatch, but he didn't specify how. Which means 'Figure it out Jerah!' Kolinaisi, while not obvious, was pretty smart for tactics and strategy. Nobody played him war boats. Nobody messed with him in memory games. He trusted your strategy, as you had decades of bein a captain. To be fair, you have had the longest run as a captain anyone has ever heard of as a privateer. And the most conquests loot wise. But this. "Cap, your friend Pygmallius, has gotten himself a combead and had a question." You hear as you approach the city with Angron.

"Patch em through to me." You say.

"Captain, though technically your rank would be commodore considering you have two ships under your command, I am still running into the issue with my injuries and condition. Many people have told me I smell, 'Like A Dead Skunk Shark' I have no idea what one of those are. And the ship is readying stations, I take it, if I am not mistaken, you are moving to fix the city defenses?" UR asks, and to be quite fair his accent was a disturbingly accurate mimickry of Jerah.

"Ya mate. We are on our way now."

"If I may beg an indulgence." UR asks.

"Shoot mate, yer part of the crew now. It aint an indulgence to ask me a question."

"It's a two parter. One is, can I acquire the necessary medicine to heal my ailment? Two if you are fixin the city defenses may I join as I have some skill in that field." Ur asks

Y'know, with how close by Nuceria, Olympia and De'lormosa seem to be, I wonder if it would be prudent to set up the beginnings of a trade network? Over time it could evolve into mutual defence agreements or even something more poignant.

Sure, they'll be brought into the Imperium soon enough, but a strong allegiance to each other that will only deepen and strengthen with time is how you end up with a tightly knit sector that'll rise up in fury the moment an enemy approaches one of their own.

Olympia is quite far away actually, but it's a straight shot from Nuceria. But a trade network is something that I wnated to set up too, hence why I brought it up with Trajan and Angron when we talked about the rocks.
The beat trade option would be trying to contact Ultramar, they are our close neighbors, but since old man isn't running the scan we would nees to meta it. Also Guilliman would probably want to absorb us into his mini-empire instead of accepting our loose way of forming a colective / alliance / confederation / c9nfederation of indepent systems.

Kind of early to post for me! I didn't pull a double because of date night.

A lot of you are mentioning Rowboat Girlyman, and Maccrage is a viable option. Like I said there are a few ways for Kolinaisi to find more than just Perturabo and Angron. The issue though is that it is literally a race against time, and your most beneficial uses of it.

Additionally.

Maybe- and hear me out- you might want to have Kolinasi develop and come into his own a bit more before he meets the Emperor. Guilliman was found 8th. Right after Rogal Dorn. If you have been paying attention, you should guess that their is a push towards Maccrage. Keep that in mind, that the Emperor himself is going in that direction.

I understand the urge to do a speed run, but I caution you gentle reader and dear shit poster, think about how you want Kolinasi to develop.

=====

When you arrive at the city, the defense point isn't as well guarded as you thought.

It is abandoned.

Also it looks less defensive than, ornamental? Siege warfare and castles, this is all weird to you.

"Angron, is that what I am supposed to go fix?" You ask.

"No idea. To be quite blunt, most of this is new to me as it is to you." He says. The pair of you get to the building and there are rows and banks of machines, in ornate stone slabs and frescos around them. Much of the structure is gilded and looks like it was designed to be a mass gathering place.

"This, is rather" Angron

"Opulent?" You respond

"No the other O word Ostentatious" He says back

"Ya have quite the vocabulary for a simple gladiator brother." You say and smiles.

"For a pirate yours is quite advanced as well. I guess we both had good teachers. What should I do here?" Angron asks.

"Honestly, as much as I would like ya to help, I am not sure it would be best suited for you to be here. Maybe rally someone who knows better, and prepare defense works. It looks like Jera is sending out scouts and rangers, so he is preparing something fierce for a bit of a scrap." You pass him a spare comm bead

"Use this, ask Jerah where would be best for you to go. I'd honestly try to keep an eye out for that Gaius character. See where he is comin in." You say and he nods.
>>
>>4974339

"If I can find anyone to help you, I will." Angron says and the two of you grip arms and hug. He nods nd departs.

"This song is gonna be good." You comment absently as you look at the machines. They, for all purpose, are dead. You sense no mana. None. You could jump start them, but you are almost certain they tried the method of turning it off then on again. You look for a master control panel, which is oddly near some sort of gigantic musical instrument, and you only know this because bumping it the wrong way plays a note. You touch various bars on it, and it plays various tones. When you do, you sense it.

The very small, tiny, ghost of mana. A very small machine spirit survived. It seems to be connected to something, and you follow it but you go in a circle. You do this for a solid ten minutes before UR busts in.

"Oh good you feel it. There is an ancient failsafe circuit that can be restarted. Once online, it can, with some effort and trials, redirect the power for the defenses. However this is the core."

"What is the purpose of most of this?" You ask.

"You of all people should understand. Aesthetics. Some people surf, others partake in art. To them, if you follow these frescos, and how this works, essentially, they can play the defenses like an instrument."

"Wait. This could theoretically make music, from warfare? From the loss of life? That seems to be- wrong." You state as the thought of using music for such ends brings you to grimace. You understand the need for warfare, but to use it, the inevitable loss of human life and the destruction wrought, to make a few tones of music?

"Yes. This is someones concert hall. Or at least the memories of the brain I am using state. speaking of, I have successfully ended any possibility of smell. Now there is only a skull and brain within a jar that the wreath is still connected to. I am confused as well. But, we need to act as a team. One of us has to find the circuit breaker and flip it manually for each point, then one of us has to source out the power. Also we have to charge power restorer. I am not sure how to do that except maybe overcharging an ARC gun or finding a dynamo."
+
>>
"As disturbing as all that information was to me, I guess it's good to know. Any idea on when the approaching army will arrive and how much time do we have?"

"This process, of restoring the turret defense and automated siege tools, in addition to the shield- will take almost all night and well into the morning. The army, per what intel Gella got, from what I heard, should be here at approximately mid/early day. These 31 hour days make most of this confusing for someone as you I am sure."

"You can say that. Our days are a few hours shorter. So it is a race against the clock." You say and UR nods.

Which role do you take?

>> Source the power
OR
>> Flip the switches

NEXT

How do you charge the power restorer?

I want to use our mana powers to help balance it out, bring too many, use ourselves as the conduit and feed the machine.

Honestly, the whole thing about Maccrage is because Gorillaman would make the better trade partner, and would be the easist to detect since he is also empire-building and is our neighbour.
It's not like we have a forge world nearby to help our expansion.
But I personally think we should focus on finishing our business on De'lormosa, Nuceria and Olympia first, we still have to follow the trails of the Ganth, prepare for future attacks and manipulations by the deldar, and watch out for the tomb world in Bardic, don't want to deal with the Charnovokh before they get weakened by the nids.
>>
>>4974362
Forgot the map of forgeworlds.
Not that it really matters, most of them were founded during the great crusade, ao they don't exist yet.

By the way, if we move fast we can cuck Ultramar of a bunch of it's expansion.
From Nuceria to Olympia, it's around half of the realm, we can even snag Tigrus.

"I will, be the one who diverts and sources the power." You say, looking around and UR looks back at you.

" That is a really bold choice. What are you going to use as a source? And are you just going to use the panels they have here or are you going to use alternative measures?" UR asks, and their emotive, is that of concern.

"I am gonna source some batteries from the ship. It will take an hour for Gella to fly them down here, then me to hook it up and figure out a way to map the power out visually, but I imagine the machine spirit will be willing to help." You say, being slightly optimistic.

"They may. You must really take good care of your equipment, though we should have a discussion about what you know as Mana and Machine Spirit. It may help you. Or Enlighten you. Or potentially drive you mad. But, that sounds like an acceptable time table. Once are set up, let me know. This is probably going to be potentially more important and dangerous then the actual defense." UR says opening up a panel.

"Wait. How would this be more dangerous than the defense?" You ask

"Risk of electrocution, is exceptionally high."

"Mate electricty, lightning, mana, it don't hurt me. It doesn't even tickle anymore."

"To me alone, which I am not worried about either. No. I am worried about data djinn, spirits, and other things that guard this. Those you get to deal with." UR states, their emotive flippant. The vocabulary lessons with Meera are really paying off in understanding expressions.

"What? Spirits are normally peaceful, if not empathic with me."

"Oh. Right. These AREN'T machine spirits. This isn't standard machinery and normal technology. They have minimal amounts of that. This is pyskana tech. These defenses utilize warp and warp stuff that barely works with technology. I am almost certain that it's this way due to the potential barbarian hordes, probably also utilizing psykana tech as well as psykers and warp stuff as well. The machine spirits, will probably TRY to help you, but don't tax them too hard. I figured you knew what you were saying you would do, and considered that you were more suited to this despite your incredible speed because there are risks when I have to deal with this. Though you not knowing, and choosing the more defensive role suggests an intuitive, if not instinctual sense of strategy and advantageous positioning. May I test a hypothesis that I have after watching you fight?"

"Ummmm. Ya. Sure mate whatever helps us with thi-" And you dodge before you could register the attack from UR, who quickly attempts to sweep your legs, which leads you to do an awkward counter that knocks him back a bit.
>>
>>4975723

"Astounding! Someone has mastered genetic coding to such a degree. You can sense my very electrical impulses and your body responded reflexively! There is an explanation for this that I may want to try to understand later. UR says it's emotive a happy one.

"Well. That's new to me. You say these 'not' machine spirits, they are warp related? How do I deal with them?" You ask and UR looks at your weapon and shrugs.

"Mate that isn't an answer." You say and three dots appear.

"UR?"

" I'd suggest your honor guard. Or some sort of electrical weapon or energy based weapon. I cannot calculate what the warp will drop in while you source the power and restart it. All I know is that the way this works is that it taps into the warp, and it may summon entities purely on accident with the amount of power going through it. I would not risk anything happening. I will position myself next to the first switch." UR states lowering themselves into the hole.

After some time Gella comes down with her battery, boots, and you are happy to see Erihapti bounding up.

"She snuck with me." Gella says as Erihapti hangs near you.

"Hello my pretty little helper!" You say petting your shoal stoat that is clearly starved for attention.

Holy shit, a Primarch who isn't afraid to ask for help! Will wonders never cease?

> Call Deliah for advice
She's the most experienced person Kolinaisi knows who has personally dealt with Warp fuckery.

>> "If what Pygmalius tells me is right, the only thing worse then somethin' makin' an uninvited appearance is trying to bolt past us an' out into the city. You an' the ladies do what you can, work ya magic, but first priority is keepin' this place sealed tighter than a drum."
Self-explanatory. Since the corrupt High Riders seem to have been discreetly worshipping Chaos (and Khorne most obviously), I wouldn't be shocked if a some daemons tried clawing their way free in search of murder. Can't be having that.
This isn't 2nd Primarch Quest and Kolinaisi isn't a wuxia daemon-slayer, but every intrepid explorer knows there's always some new horror waiting to be discovered and that there's no such thing as overkill.

Also, on that particular note, I think it'll be important to keep Angron and the new leadership of De'shea/Nuceria abreast of warp shenanigans. Make sure they know that the old nobility probably still has a few hidden temples and caches of evil shit that'll need to be uprooted like a cancerous weed and burned VERY carefully.

Oh, absolutely. I love the way that things have been going thus far with Space Explorer Maui Quest!

I do feel like it would be interesting if, between the Old Man and Kolinasi, De'lormosa became a home to innovation and discovery (giant sea monsters and beautiful tropical maidens almost goes without saying).

"Gella, I may have to talk to Deliah too." You say

"Is it that bad?" She asks

"What?"

"How many men do you need to make die? You know a fighter craft works too!" Gella says

"It's not like that."

"Are you finally gonna ask her to go for a walk on the beach"

"Th- Wait up there Gella wha- That's not it either! We are gonna have some uninvited guests from the fun place Deliah has been teachin me about." You say.

"Wait how much did you hea"

"The entire discussion Gella." Deliah says in the flat tone when she teaches her students a lesson.

"Oh. Well- Kolinaisi"

"Ladies, you all know more about the Warp than I have any clue about. I'm doin my best, but if what Pygmallius says is true, then there may be some chaotic nastiness when we try to set up the power. "Yeesh your dense. Ya Cap we'll be down there in a little bit."

"Thank ya ladies." You say.

"We are your Honor Guard. But also we are your friends. If you need help you can just ask us. You may be big and strong" Deliah says

"And a bloody brilliant strategist" Gella says.

"And an ok Surfer." Meera chimes in

"But you are family. We will help."

"Ladies. We gotta keep this place as tight as a drum. Not one of them can slip by into the city." You say.

"And how is this going to happen?"

"Pygmallius is gonna get into position, I am gonna start to source the power from the battery and then we will channel it to power up the actual defenses of the city." You say.

"Wait- you said that the defenses are, oh. That is incredibly stupid and dangerous." Deliah says then the other ladies realize.

"They use the warp to make the tech work? How did they control it in the first place? Did they have some sort of Gellar field around all the conduits?" Gella asks

"I am not really sure. This is all very new to me, so your knowledge will help us defend against it. If you could shape a gellar field or something similar for the system, or maybe some kind of channel." You suggest.

"When you start it up we'll get into positions." Yana says as Deliah seals the doors and puts very unusual looking black sand around the doors in a big circle around everything

"Deliah. That will-"

"Lock em in here with us. Ready when you are Captain." Deliah says.

Also, I'm waiting for Gella's Not!Vaporeon to show up and maul a Flesh Hound of Khorne.
>>

Critical infrastructure would only matter if this would be a long siege or they had a way to bombard the city, either with cannons or bombers.
Scula attacking their backside should break a siege, and Jera and Lancer should be able to deal with high priority targets.

This is all great, sadly I am working longer hours. This writing will be taken care of tomorrow. Once Vacation is done I can go back to working slightly less like a mad man.

Which brings me to the elephant in the room .

My vacation starts Around September 28th and Ends October 10th/11th. I will be posting, but the posts will be shorter, but I promise it will be just as eventful.
>>
and I am sorry I am just posting last nights thing today. I will be posting later tonight on here. My work schedule is strong for a while. This weekend I am taking a little bit of time off.

However I do need to know something else

Since I am waiting for the same person to be free to commission more art, what art do you want to see?

Maybe a De'Lormosan Rofue Trader team? You can have a big man as the captain, a witch for psyker, some hiver for tech, whatever people live on the north pole too, maybe even a nucerian/ chainbreaker's son as an arch militant.

"Alright ladies. Here is how this works. Pygmallius, ya listening?"

"As if there was anything else to listen to.

"Deliah You will guard the Northern Panel Access. It's the only way to pygmallius and in general it's the only protection we have, plus this tunnel access, we can't let anything pass by. Guard it." You say.

"I will." Deliah says with a nod and a stomp of her halberd and a little electricity erupts around her.

"Yana, I need you to cover the Eastern doors. Like I said, nothing gets in or out." You say and Yana raises an eyebrow.

"I have you back Kolinaisi." She says ironically that position will be guarding your back.

"I take it you want me at the tool bank?" Meera says and you nod and she sets up near it and pulls out a few weapons and tools.

"Gella, guard near that, that..." You look at the very bizarre stained glass fresco. It has elements that are quite confusing to even look at. It's almost like-

"Gella. Is that glass warpy?" You ask.

"It's got some magic elements to it." She says and Deliah nods.

"If certain things happen it may turn to a guardian. It may also just be something superficial." Deliah states.

"I will watch this area." Gella says and you nod.

You look down at Erihapti.

"Girl." You say and she sits pretty and looks up at you.

"Patrol." You say and she does the salute trick you taught her and you toss her a treat then pat her on the head and you hold her close.

"Don't fight alone girl." You say

"Pyg" You say

"I don't like that name

"Pygmallius. I have the order for you try after I hook up this battery."

" Alright Koli shoot. UR says and you sigh at him using the overly friendly family name realizing that UR is probably better at banter than you realized.

"First route power to the Front line Defenses. Second route it to the wall. Third Defense Towers. Fourth the Gates of the city. Fifth the critical infrastructure. Finally the Siege weaponry." You say.

"I see. You think your ship will be good enough for defenses, which it should be. Alright. Tell me when you have connected the ports and started the jump charge." UR says.

"Will do." You say. You take the battery, and hook it up to the terminals...

Arnoul De Saan looked at the reports of his pathfinders and scouts. The decision was made and the push to the south west. Aeldari near a human settlement.

Arnoul shivered.

"Sir?" You say.

"Ah! Tech Sergeant Ernhol! Your report that I asked for." Your Legion Master, who has been called the Enigma of Luna, is at once both Warm yet Distant.

"I have!" You say giving the scans from the system.

"Nobody has actually been this far." Your Legion Master says.

"Are the readings as you expected?" You ask

"There is a lot of activity. How on earth did anyone survive out this far?" The legion master asks.

"Besides the obvious heartiness of Humanity? I'd say there are signs of some sort of far flung mechanicus outpost. Maybe knights. Thats in the report though." You tell the Legion Master.

"That it is. I have other concerns as well." He says

"Aeldari and human working together?" You ask

"No. I don't think this is like that incident. No There is something up with this system. There is something suspicious. Sure there are Aeldari signs, but they are on seperate worlds, and any contact may just be minimalistic trade at absolute worst, most likely just contact and non agression pacts. Which may have kept them along a lot longer. The humans here may not have that much to fight which is where we come in, but- I think the main threat isn't the standard haughty Aeldari, but Drukhari." The Legion Master says.

"You think we found a sanctuary. You think the Drukhari are waiting for the human population to grow larger." You point out.

"Correct Tech Sergeant. If there are signs of Martian scout worlds, or if we are so lucky to find a knight house- then that may have been a temporary deterrent. However, be that as it may, we will likely have to mount a defense against settlers."

"Isn't that the Star Hunters job." You quip.

"HA! I think our job these days is to live up to names we have been given."

"Our legion name may be the Iron Hearts, but The Custodes name of the Temerity, or as some of the Legions have lovingly called us"

"His Majesties Thrill Seekers?"

"I've heard The Wolves of Russ call us His Royal Misfits"

"I swear the second we get a battleship I am calling it the Temerity." The Legion Master says.

"What if we find our Father before?" You ask

"If that happens then I will explain why we need to name the ship that. If we are born of his seed, I am sure he will understand." He says.

"I am sure. What is the project you have for me Legion Master?" You ask.

"You and the other Tech Marines have a project from me personally." Your legion master says.

"Angron! Sir, there is, a person claiming to be a scout from the Chernogoth. He says he wants to, Parlay with you personally!" Your scout says as a large muscular man with tattoos that, if you are honest with yourself are only the fifth strangest you have seen today.

"This him?" You ask.

"I am He! I am Shaka. I heard that Angron Invictus, the Red Angel had freed the city of De'shea. I heard he had slain many enemies this day. Is this true?" The man named Shaka says.

"All this is true." You say.

"Would you consider my unit?" The man asks

"Why do you seek to betray your army? It cannot be simply because you are a fan of the Arena." You point out.

"My people were taken as hostage by the army and they use us as bombardiers and artillerymen. The commanders have my son as their cup bearer, so at any time they want they can kill him." He says

"So you seek my assistance in freeing your people so they may go home?" You ask.

"My homeland has been ground to dust. The forest of my youth burned to ash. My son is enslaved. I don't want to go home. I want revenge. I want justice. I want to be free." They speak with a rage and pain you feel.

So far the legion is focused on deploying at the backlines, hitting fast and hard. Air support is the best way to project strength, and also synergises with their void specialty. Alao I like to think that the legion prefers space carriers and specialist crafts over just large ships.

You put just a little bit of sympathetic mana and energy from yourself into the battery as you start the charge process and plug up your read out tablet. You flip a switch and you can feel the golden hum of the machine spirits.

"Pygmallius, just flipped the switch, your on mate."

"Excellent." UR says.

You then utilize the connected breakers in the read out and begin distribution of the power. At first, everything seems normal and fine.

After the first dozen or so minutes power seems to be going freely, and your battery will soon fully charge up the failsafe so that way the power will be able to slowly work it's way into the desired systems. The machine spirits seem happy to help.

Then you feel it.

First it's from the machine spirits. Their nature around you is jolly normally, then something begins to cause them to act quirky.

"Is anyone else noticing the temp drop?" Delia asks and the others nod. Even Erihapti seems on edge.

You begin to feed more command lines and help with the charge by giving it a slightly sympathetic charge of your mana. And while it works, you still have yet to hear anything from Pygmallius.

Then you can see your breath. And you can also see the strange spirit being that begins forming near the center.

"Delia.." Gella says

"I see it! Yana assist on this!" Delia shouts as they both throw a cage of electricity around the form.

"Foolish witches. You think that a puny cage of storms will stop me?" The being says as Meera lines up a shot causing the being to twitch and revolt breaking free of the confines.

"Alright Kolinaisi I need a bit more juice to get her running then on to the next stop!"

Hmm. Things were not going as fast as I thought. Time to post now I suppose!

The voice as it breaks free of the cage takes form, large horns upon a red oblong skull with fierce teeth and long claws holding a bright bloody sword, but that is the least of your concern.

What concerns you is what sits below it.

A giant creature of molten metal, that looks like a giant pig, with a great horn atop it's nose, with the sharp teeth of what looks like some kind of land based shark. It let's out a beastial and loud howl.

"Delia, will the circle hold?" Meera asks.

"If the structure does!" Delia responds.

As if the cage of storms has dissolved around it the being shakes and looks directly upon you.

"A child of the Anathema. A fitting trophy for my lord alongside the skull of four witches. This is truly a great day for glorious combat. Ya!" It shouts as the beast rears itself and stomps the ground causing tremendous shaking and the structures around to shake as the earth quakes.

And as you push the power to the position from your command point Delia lets off a few blasts from her weapon, as does Gella, and Yana.

"Pygmallius on to the next spot mate!" You let out

" Got it!"

This does not deter the beast and it's rider as it heads directly to you blessedly ignoring the open cover that Delia is guarding.

How do you respond Kolinaisi?

Choose 1

>> Take a fighting stance with your axe and prepare to decapitate the beast once it approaches close enough

>> Running as fast as you can, unseat the rider and cripple the beast in a smooth action

Either he will try to intercept us, which will lead to a beeny hill chase and five time to Pygmallius, go after one of the witches leaving his back exposed, or dismount to allow the hellhound to go after another target, meaning we can prioritise one.
Best way to counter heavy cavalry is with with ranged cavalry, we don't have a horse but we are fast.

I would rather keep these guys focused on Kolinaisi than allowing them the chance to attack the girls; after all, Khornflakes are famous for being detrimental to a psykers health.

If we ruin the Juggernaut's limbs enough, it won't be able to charge, and then we can focus on the rider, which brings me to my question for Old Man; is this just a standard Bloodletter, or a Herald?
>>
>>4984391
Well, the picture says bloodcrusher6 instead of skullmaster, so I'm going with just a normal bloodletter instead of an elite.
But if it was a herald it woyld be worrying, it would mean that we would have to end this quickly before the rest of his cohort or pack comes along.

The power banks humm as the machine spirits flow evenly and let out electrical song that you can hear. You try something, before taking care of the beast. You do a little bit of programming. You have it so it will automatically distribute the power, even while you are not directly on the tablet. Your machine spirits are at peak strength now, no data djinn will be able to best it.

However, the beast and it's stomping may disrupt or even harm the cogitator banks and obscure machinery that is here.

So you move rapidly and disquietingly quick in a fast pattern around the beast and the rider. The beast attempts to focus on you but is too slow and as a result is fired upon rapidly by your honor guard. You climb up atop the large beast and strike it in the side through it's plating causing it to buck.

The rider swings it sword and it misses you as you dodge it and immediately parry back with your axe.

You realize this thing is strong and fast also, but you are still able to dodge its attacks. It seems like it has undergone combat for very long as it is howling in glee as it attacks and swings at you.

Which is exactly what you want. The Honor Guard has effectively crippled the beast as it's movement as slowed and has become sluggish, but the rider is now in a frenzy, and you see a small horn on it's side that looks like it is for signaling others.

"THIS IS THE COMBAT I STRIVE FOR! THE MORE YOU DODGE ME AND FLAIL AT ME THE STRONGER AND GREATER A WARRIOR I BECOME!" The being shouts.

"Kolinaisi I am coming up on the second target[/bold]

As you continue on this strange duel you notice that the stained ornamental glass has changed, the portrait is different, and has changed to the beast and rider.

I'd be VERY careful about that bud. You have to keep in mind where we are and what we're doing; unleashing electrical powers near the machines is at best going to distract them from their task, and at worst could hurt them.
>>
>>4984848
>> Shoot the rider with the weapon, destroy it before it can cause more havoc
>> "Don't open it till we have destroyed the being in here"
Opening another one will probably widen the gap, and doing it before we finish of this herald means dealing with reiforcements instead of one at a time.
Although a daemon of a different god could be the one the passes through, and with luck they start fighting eachother.
>>
"Do not open it till we have handled the being up here." You say loudly.

"As if you think your sickly group of witches can handle me!" The being says in a loud tone

"Much less my-" The being disintegrates anticlimactically with little more than a strange gurgle of a noise. You hack the head off the tired beast with the falling of your axe.

You look up at the portrait on the stained glass. The beast and rider are gone.

"Did you all see that?" You ask

"Yeah." Gella says.

"The glass changes, however, there are different elements on it. One of the elements is now gone. There are others left though. I imagine it must be a strange defense system." Meera says.

"Pygmallius mate, give me some good news. It's looking like we are running ahead of schedule." You say

"We are actually only partially ahead of schedule. I will get started on unlocking it, each time it will get further away and take more time to do. That is just the way that this system works, though your last power model seemed to work best, keep it up. UR says.

"We'll do that." You say and you begin adjusting the power levels to distribute and purpose accordingly.

"How much time before you can open it?" You ask.

"It's gonna be a bit more time than last. I'd say maybe thirty minutes if everything works well. UR says and you nod.

"Is it going to all go in leaps like this till it is done?"

"No. Though the distance will make it feel like a while, I will go as fast as I can, and I will do this as best as possible. So long as you keep those threats up top side, this will work."

You know you have little time.

$20 says it's a means of interference or control put in place by the cults, IE you fiddle with the system without a specific charm or spell and the daemons drag you into the Warp.
>> Ask if Delia knows what that is or was.
I have the sneaking suspicion that Daemons of Khorne aren't the only thing we'll be seeing.

Also, I have this scenario stuck in my head; every time an edgelord Drukhari or cult leader, mad sorcerer, Chaos warlord, Daemon champion, etc. starts monologuing, Kolinaisi (and by extension his Legion) immediately and ruthlessly blow them the fuck up.
> "BLOOD FOR THE BL-" *Zap!*

You decide your best action, is to study the stained glass.

Upon quick study, and if you had more time you could probably prove this theory of yours without doubt, there are 8 different portraits, one now empty so seven filled, each portrait on the large stained glass window associated with a character that is identified with the various different defensive elements, the one you just slain being associated with the character for front line defenses.

"Wait. UR-Pygmallius, can we test to see if the front line defenses work right now?" You ask

"Of course, the primary control panel, the thing that looks like an instrument. It should have an output for it. If you test it, it should have a machine spirit." UR states factually.

"Alright." You say and you walk over to the thing, that looks like a giant instrument, and the character matches a certain key, that has what you can detect is a machine spirit, but it needs a bit more power to work. You would test it, but you are not sure if the weak machine spirit could take it right now.

"It will work when it is fully charged." You say.

"Ladies, just be cautious. You mean a lot to me, and it looks like we got at least seven more of them coming, I am going to investigate this a bit closer, see if I can speed up the process of the charging.' You say as you walk over and begin studying the device a bit more.

You begin to study it's interface, and communicate with what there is of a machine spirit, and it feels it normally would go faster if the input protocols were followed properly or at least that is what it is able to interface with you. However, your method seems to be empowering the actual machine spirits more, but over the long run it is much slower than what it would be, but the machine spirit seems to enjoy the freedom, but it is willing to help speed up the process and help with the individual protocols. It would come at a cost of comparatively decreased efficiency and power, which you are increasing by doing your current method.

Decide.

>> Continue on the slower, yet more efficient and powerful path.
OR
>> Try the faster approved way.

Ok, the mural has 8 figures, and the cult was dedicated to Khorne, so it's more likely it's because it's his holy numbers rather than the 8 arrows of Chaos Undivided.
So we probably will have to face a representant of each Cohort of a Blood Legion, and giving that we faced a Skullmaster instead of a normal Bloodcrusher, than we are going to fight the leaders. So many Bloodmasters, and maybe a few Flesh Hounds and another Skullmaster or two.
I hope it's normal heralds, and not a Bloodthister or even a Rendmaster on a Blood Throne, or atleast that if they do appear, that they won't be able to stay outside of the Warp for long.
>> Continue on the slower, yet more efficient and powerful path.
This is the dangerous option, specially since we still don't have armour, but it's also an investment to Nuceria's future.

Rawhiri
And that does look like the old man. I will post the last option tonight and some more pictures before I do the new thread.
>>
>>4989501
Isn't Rawhiri the guy that is going to marry Morgiana, even though he isn't one of the chiefs, just a Big Man?
>>4989219
Because if he is that's perfect, a face of a true chad.

What do you think about this? Could be Chief-Dad Ravi, or Uncle.
>>
>>4989619
Oh god what's wrong with his neck?
Better get some of that holy volcano ash before it's too late and Nurgle takes him.
Now for a more serious opinion, I think it would fit more Jera than Ravi, it just gives me that vibe.
>>
>>4989636
Well, I searched for 'Polynesian Pirate King', so I'd assume that's supposed to be part of some neck bling.
>>
>>4989833
Yeah, it can look like some kind of sea shell earring if you go with that in mind.
And polyneasean pirate king? That Jera for sure. Shame he never had the chance to complete the deal and be our secondary father, since we decided to speedrun De'lormosa. Atleast he got the Auditor out of it though.

It's a little frustrating, for the simple fact that we left so much unfinished and unexplored. Monsters left alone, treasures not pursued, and we barely know the other tribes/kingdoms.

It's not to say that I'm not glad we took the opportunity to seek out Nuceria when it was offered and save Angron, but it also feels a little like we won't get the chance to do anything further with K's home world until after first contact with the Imperium.
>>
>>4990363
We still have time to solve our provlems back home, the crusade has just found the second, so we there's 24 years until they get to Olympia and Pert snitches on us to dad.
>>

Don't worry. De'lormosa will be explored and there is a lot to still do and sea monsters to deal with. And technically unifying the planet. Kolinaisi will be plenty busy.

You decide, that it's slow and steady wins the race and you will take these things as they come, and not rush it. It will be better overall. As you are prepping the powerflow Delia, whom has been looking at the stained glass and looks to you.

"There is another one, or three. The symbols are obscured. I think. It's weird" She says calling you over.

And as you look at it again, you see that the eight, overlap at three points, and make eight main points, but eleven total, the symbols unknown, but it's there.

"I see it, what do you make of it?" You ask.

"I think after the third fifth and eight something will happen. Cap" Delia looks at you in a look you rarely ever see, utter confusion, frustration and what you know isn't fear but hesitant caution.

"I, know the less you know about this the better. But eight is the number of the bloody one we do not name. Eleven, is the number of a theoretical thing. I- can't be sure. It looks like it could also be the layers of defense and how the city is designed with those three overlapping points in eight main areas, but they have maintained a cult. So those numbers keep an eye out." She says and you nod.

"Alright, Kolinaisi, say the word and I will do the final process to unlock the gate." UR says with some hesitance.

You look at your honor guard and your shoal stoat. They all look at you ready to go.

Decide Choose one

>> Focus on the area the last one came in: Keep your position, get ready to shoot the pulse from your axe the second something appears, once that is taken care of you can quickly power up

>> Focus on the controls: Your Honor Guard was doing fine last time, and you were practically done by the time the beast got footing, you may need to keep track of the machine spirits in case.

>> Focus on the environment: Something is going on with this, if you understand the process of how the cruel being appeared and tie it with the processes going on in the machinery you may be able to severely hinder any future incursion

>> Write in

I'm noticing a reoccurring theme with the ladies in K's life; that is to say, they're all hot.

Granted three of them are family and Astartes/Primarchs don't generally show an interest, but who knows?

"Now"

"understood"

You focus on the environment around you and almost tune things out as you distribute the power reflexively. Then you feel it.

A slight tinge in the air as the machine spirits whine, you can feel a power redirection and you can tell how this works. Essentially, the power you are repumping in, the machine spirits have to redirect their limited ability and power to the warp systems that make this essentially work and you can sense exactly where the foul being will enter. There is an octographic sigil, glyph? Some weird pattern that summons them in once the device is triggered as a fail safe. Once the fail safe is removed or solved by the appropriate amount of what is probably blood, the check is passed and the next system is started. What you are doing is manually removing these fail safes, and the system can run on pure energy and function through the machine spirit or maybe just random warp junk, you don't exactly have a readout.

What you do have is the hairs standing up on your neck as you sense where exactly the daemon will enter. You try something. You rarely communicate with the machine spirit of your axe, as you and it act as one. You need to feed it power from the room, which you can tell the room, yearning to be free will provide. Your Axe, is eager to try this. The lights and power in the room barely flickers as you look where the beast will show as you additionally continue to route the power so your axe, while thirsty for this new power doesn't rob all that's needed. You can sense the being as it pierces the veil. It's as if the world slows down around you as you unload a shot at one of the daemons as it enters robbing it of it's battle causing your honor guard to look at you shocked as the being flickers out so fast it's barely able to be identified.

You aren't able to line up a shot on The Second, now enraged, larger angrier looking beasty with it's hounds.

"ELEVENTH CHILD. YOU LACK HONOR. YOU HAVE ROBBED MY BROTHER OF CLEAN COMBAT. PREPARE TO DIE." The being says as they rush towards you with their hounds. Your honor guard, begins to rapidly fire, at the hounds and Erihapti hamstrings three of the four hounds by simply breaking the heels and knocking one around.

As it attacks you simply sidestep and let it barrel past you as you finish the distribution.

"UR ON TO THE NEXT" You say as you take up a fighting stance as the electricity around you begins to sing in electric tones.

"YOU MAKE LIGHT OF THIS! CLEARLY YOU ARE THE ELEVENTH SON OF THE ANATHEMA AND MUST DIE!" It shouts.

"Call me whatever number you want mate, but as far as I know there is only one of me." You say dodging it's attacks, letting your knowledge of your surroundings make fighting you infuriating as your honor guard focuses on the dogs.
>>
>>4991497

"YOU HAVE SUCH PRIDE, IT WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL!" the beast bellows it's roar like a furnace.

"Mate it aint pride it's facts." You sidestep and half kick to a swipe with your axe.

"Where there's, how many of you lads?" You ask and the being roars swinging their sword wildly.

"YOUR MOCKERY SHALL NOT SAVE YOU."

"Mate, this aint even mockery this is cut rate banter." You say, and you realize that the Honor Guard has begun the yipping, singing, barking and chanting of their high battle cant. That's when you see it.

The noises. The electricty. The cant. It's actually causing problems for the being. It's swings are so wild dodging is only partially preferable to parrying as you haven't quite mastered this combat yet.

You also notice, the being is actively avoiding destroying the machines. So you test a theory.

"Forgive me, you shall not be harmed." you whisper in an electric humm of the machine spirits

You move like lightning and sidestep and the being almost trips itself avoiding smashing the machine to turn to swing at you. It is intentionally avoiding the machinery. So to quote UR, time to test another theory. You swing wildly at the being and push it towards a machine where it actively blocks and prevents you from hitting the machine to even let you hit it directly. It's guarding them and the machines sing stronger. The honor guard begins their game with Erihapti, which you know as keep away, and it's almost like they are herding sheep in a strange way.

Your combat has lasted longer than the previous being and it is looking frustrated, and the honor guard seems to have already slain two of the four hounds.

Pick a tactic
>> Continue to taunt and harass the being, fighting and running

>> Utilize the Electric Hum of the machine spirits and a haka to further disorient, and stand here against him to show the gap

>> Interrogative combat, figure out why he is protecting certain machinery and what's in store

>> A quick shot is more than this thing deserves but it's what it will get

This may not have been clear, but Kolinaisi can now verbally speak in machine code through hums and singing.

Also have a portrait of Frank or what they say he is. He's missing glasses.

This will likely be the last decision of this thread before I archive.

I tried to add some glasses to him, but it all the photos on the net are too big, so they end up getting badly compressed when trying to fit on the image.
This is the best I could do.
