You didn't want to kill this mysterious enemy, seeing as she was clearly holding herself back somewhat and was even offering to assist you if you could defeat her, so in some way, you could probably consider the Fairy Knight Agravain to be an ally of sorts. Of course, trusting the whimsical nature of your adversary was a certain way to have things blow up in your face, but for now, you felt like she wasn't going to go against her own word. So, not wanting to kill her but also not wanting to lose the battle, you really only had one option available to you, and you looked at the legendary lance in your hand for a few moments before you decided, pointing the tip of the lance at the leg of the bound knight. "My apologies for this, but..." You had no choice but to use Rhongomyniad here, and with that in mind, you began to flood the spear with your abundant reserves of magical energy, causing it to glow a bright white and unravel slightly. "Rhongomyniad!" You yelled the name of the legendary spear as it fired towards the Fairy Knight, and a wide beam of light eclipsed both of her legs, the brilliant beam of light gouging an endless tunnel into the floor of the hall moments after erasing the legs of the Fairy Knight Agravain. She'd have no choice but to admit defeat now, and when she did, you'd heal her injuries for her.The Fairy Knight Agravain slumped in the strings that bound her immediately after having her entire lower half obliterated by the attack, and you freeze in place for a moment... had you... accidentally killed her? "Ouch... so that's how it feels to be struck by one of those texture pins..." She grit her teeth as she remained suspended in the air by the strings of Failnaught. "I guess I'll have to start taking you three a little more seriously now.""Surrender, knight. You have been terribly wounded, and you cannot continue to battle. Surrender and you shall receive healing." Arturia seemed to have decided to use her diplomatic skills to convince the knight to surrender now that she had taken such a terrible wound, but the black clad female knight just shrugged, snapping a few of the strings binding her as she did. "This...?" The Fairy Knight Agravain looked down at her missing legs. "I've had worse." That comment clearly stunned Arturia, but not nearly as much as when her legs began to regenerate in seconds, bone, nerve and muscle was quickly generated at the point of her injury and was rapidly covered in skin. "I-impossible!" Arturia by instinct raised Excalibur at the direction of her opponent, while you got into a fighting position again, before a long awkward silence started as you all stoically stared at one another. Was this even an opponent that could be defeated? An opponent that managed to heal even from a direct hit of Rhongomyniad in mere moments? How were you supposed to defeat her non-lethally?! With this level of regeneration, it's... it's impossible!
You continued staring at the knight for a few moments before your vision finally began to track downwards as the knight began to realize the same thing that you did. Just because she could regenerate her body, it... apparently didn't mean that she was able to regenerate her armor, and her lower half was...The knight suddenly shrieked with a realization of horror as she realized what had occurred and moved to cover her exposed body. "I told Morgan not to bother giving me armor to hide my identity from you! I told her that I wouldn't be able to regenerate it myself because of her abilities!" She was now outright revealing the one responsible for everything that happened. "Y-you! Nobody except the people I love are meant to see me like this! Stay here while I go and get changed into my normal outfit! This fight isn't over, Shinji!" She pointed directly at you before she raced out of the room and slammed the door shut behind her.A moment of silence passed between you, Arturia and Shirou as you all took a moment to allow what had happened to sink in.>"Let's just go to the Armory.">"Change of plans, Arturia, blow the armory away with Excalibur, we're leaving.">"I think we should wait for her to come back.">Write-in...

Or, something more big brained using Shinji's Savermeme motif with Blessed Circuits + the Water of Life baptism to cleanse any mind control she might have from Morgan/Manaka. Manaka is clearly using Truth herself now, we might have to go with things outside the box like tapping into more of YHWH's Divine bullshit to counter it rather than just relying on a Truth win button. Also, Arthurian artefacts have constant examples of synergy with Christian lore, as it's a big part of the Arthurian mythos.

"Let's just go to the armory, there's no sense just hanging around and waiting for her to return after making herself decent, and with any luck, we'll be able to be in and out before she gets back!" You really don't want to face off against the Fairy Knight Agravain once again... at least not without knowing of an actual method to defeat her that doesn't involve simply eradicating her clothing and forcing her to flee out of embarrassment. Especially because you don't think that will work a second time when it comes to defeating the woman... or at least you hoped that it didn't honestly. You'd hate to have to have every encounter with the woman to end in forcibly stripping her of her clothing until she fled from the battle, even if it would be somewhat humorous. "Oh! Arturia, are you able to produce the Horn of Brân Galed? I have a contingency plan for if "Agravain" returns, and I'll require it just in case." You decide to ask Arturia to use her abilities to summon you up yet another treasure of Britain, and the woman frowns for a moment. She then looks you in the eyes, the regal nature of a king shining within her own eyes. "Shinji, while I will comply with your requests, I would like to remind you that I am a King, not a blacksmith." She looked at Shirou for a moment after saying that. "While it is thanks to you that I have access to this treasury... I simply wish for you to treat the treasures of Britain with more respect..." She shook her head. "No... I do not mean that, perhaps I am simply... naturally acting more in my role as a King now that I have found myself in this place once more... or perhaps the revelation of Morgan's involvement has caused me to act this way." She rubbed her temples, as if she had a terrible headache. "I hope for her sake that Morgan has a good explanation for all of this though. There are treasures of Britain that exist that can slay even a fairy such as her." She wasn't joking at all, either, Arturia really was being serious in her threat to kill her sister this time. You couldn't really blame Arturia for thinking like that though, existing in this world must've been bizarre to the once King of Britain, so it was only natural that she was both more on edge as well as more defensive of her role as a king. After all, she could barely hold herself back from acting earlier upon the name of Tristan being used by somebody it didn't belong to earlier.
"Yeah, I know that using your treasures like this is a little much, but... it's not like I have much of a choice but to use the tools at my disposal here, Arturia. Our enemies are numerous and powerful. I doubt that we'd have been able to survive a fight with the Fairy Knight Agravain if she wasn't so obviously holding back for our sake, even with my Truth and the concepts it has granted the two of you control over, it seemed that all that power was inferior to the power of the Fairy Knight Agravain." Your mind still raced with conspiracies as to just who 'Agravain' could be. Just what sort of being existed that could defy you, Shirou and Saber like that? After all, Saber was already a powerful Servant before you granted her the ability that you did, and now that she has a concept, it's no doubt that she should be powerful enough to soundly defeat any Round Table Knight that dared challenge her. In fact, with her arsenal, you doubt that even the greatest knight Galahad would be able to defeat the King of Knights as she existed now, if he was even capable of resisting her anti-Knight skills in the first place to even be a challenge at all."I understand your reasons, Shinji... it's just... a personal preference that the treasures of Britain be treated with respect." It was an understandable request. "But with that said, here is the horn." She handed you what you were after as you walked into the armory itself, and you quickly pocketed it before you marveled at the great display of powerful looking weapons, none of them looked familiar, and a quick look at Shirou was enough to tell you that the boy must've been currently experiencing a data-overload as hundreds of new weapons were downloaded directly into his Reality Marble."What... what are all these weapons?" You focused your Pure Eye upon one of them, and while there was a dense layer of interference preventing you from gaining the information that you had hoped to receive, you did manage to discern one thing that Arturia managed to discern at a single glance."All these weapons... they've been forged by the Fae themselves! Each of them are masterpieces near or on the level of Excalibur itself!" But... that doesn't make any sense! Excalibur isn't meant to be a sword that has any rivals! The only weapon that should be able to surpass Excalibur in sheer power was Ea, and that couldn't be called a true sword at all! Excalibur was the weapon that struck down Sefar! how could there be so many weapons on the level of the ultimate holy sword in this armory?!
"But how? Excalibur was a blade forged by the planet... by the fairies! How could somebody have gained such a vast and powerful armory?" It just didn't add up. Just one blade on the level of Excalibur would be unbelievable enough, but to have an entire armory full of the damn things was a simple impossibility. It shouldn't be possible. But at the same time, it clearly wasn't an illusion, nor were any of them fakes. These weapons were all genuine articles."This... this would require somebody to have not only complete control over the fairies... but... to have complete dominion over the will of Gaia itself!" Arturia sounded alarmed by her own realization, and you grit your teeth. If your opponent here has power over Gaia itself, then you were in more than just a little bit of trouble. To forge such a collection of weaponry... Each of these blades, bows, spears and every other weapon in the armory was an object of tremendous power that alone would be able to turn the tide of a war... but the weaponry in this vault could do more than just that. There was enough power here to change and control the fate of the entire planet. An army given these weapons would be more than just unstoppable, the very idea of stopping them would be a distant dream.>Tell Arturia to take everything. You need to leave. Now.>Tell Arturia to destroy everything. It'll be quicker and you can't allow your enemies this sort of power.>Take a weapon for yourself before having Arturia take the rest (What weapon do you want?)>Just leave the Armory as it is, there's no sense in trying to do anything here, they'd just make more.>Write-in...

>>4960883>Tell Artoria to judge the situation as the True King and decide, with her Instincts whether she should claim all the treasures for herself now, when doing so ensures we make an enemy of Morgan and her Fairy Knights being branded as treasonous thieves and enemies of the state or simply leave and attempt diplomacy with her later on.We know the fairy knight we fought doesn't want to kill us, we know from Sakura's pov interlude people got a perfect life bait offer from Manaka. Some of the Fairy Knights might be old allies? Clearly "Agravain" knew Shinji by name and didn't want to kill us or Shirou and Artoria.Taking things amounts to making an enemy of Morgan, and if Shinji takes something himself he's also cucking Rhon. Shirou can just project them too if need be later on, which doesn't trigger Morgan's seethe. You NEVER want to be on Morgan's bad side, both irl mythos and the LB6 revelations of her character in nasuverse, which mirror irl lore pretty well.Artoria is already seething at her though, so honestly might be best to let Artoria make the decision here with her Instincts of whether she should take them for herself or we leave them be. Artoria and Morgan have a pretty constant love-hate relationship, leaving the issue as a sister quarrel is better than Shinji outright becoming an enemy to Morgan right away.forgot to link to post :DDDD4 attempts wew

So I think the best way to beat this fairy is to become an enroge protagonist. Her weakness is psychology but she's quite powerful physically, I think it's going to take some risk to put yourself in a vulnerable position so that our adversary becomes vulnerable. That's just avenue available with combating this foe/obstacle.
>>4961088the only fae knight not weak to charms is notristan. We eroge this shit up and then win.
>>4961088>>4961130>One recurring motif in these stories is that the baobhan sith appear almost immediately after the hunters express their desire for female companionship. This is connected with a traditional Scottish belief that if one were to make a wish at night without also invoking God's protection, then that wish would be granted in some terrible manner. It is possible to abuse their legends and motifs against them. Making them take oaths and wagers would also work as fairies normally must follow them.I am looking forward to meeting Melusine and Red Dragon of Wales, their reaction to us should be quite something.
Red Dragon of Wales is>>4945537>DdraigY Ddraig Goch canonically was used to make Artoria so we can tell that Morgan was definitely busy here if it is showing up by itself serving her.
Black Knight's identity is also interesting.Normally it could just be our friend JETS as it is his thing to hide his identity as Black Knight. But we are in Manana-Morgan's Fairyland (Formaly Artoria's) and we know that Vortigern was around too. And Zolgen's Vortigern was also described as mysterious Black Knight with anti-holy sword attribute. This would make fairies worry a lot.But Arthurian myths also had a lot of other Black Knights so we can't rule out it being somebody else too. It could as well be Richard the Lionheart poses as Black Knight. It is quite popular to make him appear as Black Knight untill his identity is properly revelaed. With so much bullshit currently going, it could also be on the table as possibility.
>>4961239>MananaManaka. And speaking of her and whatever deal she made with Morgan. She has her Arthur now and we are in Arthurian myth times right now. I wonder if she will make him appear here at some point to fight us. He could easily be final boss here since I doubt WhatIs planning to make us slaughter our former allies.
>>4961167I want to see Melusine reactions to our dragon daughter and tiamat.
>>4961310There is also Vritra and Giselle. And Medea also has blessing from Alítheia too. Strong peer pressure.Meeting her and Barghest is going to be entertaining.
And since we were warned about this going to be hard and with Ddraig here, we should be aware of a chance of Afanc is also being around. Afanc stated to have great cunning, invisibility, poison and connection to flood myths as it supposedly once flooded Britain, killing most of its inhabitants. But it is weak to woman singing to it and adder stones will break its powers.

>>4961370Well myth dictates they are, the pre isekai nasu knowledge of fairies Shinji has should also say so with man eater fairies being common in case files and fate/labyrinth. But I'm sure the first human farm or similar will probably give it away. It wouldn't hurt to do some more spying on other parts of the kingdom with the multiple invisibility items Artoria has access to so we can work out wtf is actually going on ic. Remember Shinji has NO IDEA at all about LB6, other than it was to be titled Avalon le fae and contained someone who could shoot Rhon across dimensions. Also, LB6 was a really pretty looking wet fart in terms of plot, so I doubt WhatIs will parrot such a scuffed story full of wasted potential, a few of the named Fairy Knights are completely new for the quest and don't show up in lb6 anyway.>>4961374Kill all faeniggers except the dindu named characters. Feed them all to Barghest so she can grow up big and strong and use them as black dog familiar slaves in future.Spears are a giveaway when purposely concealing her identity, she taught Cu about all forms of martial arts so it's not strange she could fight unarmed or with the chains. Arc does have a chain motif going on with the Millennium Castle though. Also, if Morgan got the faeniggers to work to mass produce Excalibur tier NPs, then it's likely she could also make Arc bend the knee, being an extension of Gaia.
>>4961381Jesus Christ, how strong even is Morgan now?
>>4961370>Irrelevant, headpats.Sure, she could use positive human interactions.>>4961374I like combat maids too and we already have Giselle and whole dragon and snake theme going so it is really fitting. >>4961385Well Manaka has Truth and she's been watching us and gathering ideas. What do we do to make characters retardedly busted? Some form of Supreme Authority to make Gaia kneel, or beings of nature. She's already a high level Elemental and technically, she was the true Heir to the throne of Briton, the last remaining site of Mystery in nasuverse canon. All she'd need would be something to really draw that power out.

>>4961415Are we certain that feeding Barghests vore urges is a good idea? What if we run out of fairies for her to eat?
>>4961416It is a big multiverse. We can always poach for some more bad fairies. It is not like I am in favour for making her go insane with vore but it is extremely fitting punishment for fairies. So idea has merit to it with temperance in mind.
>>4961425That just means we'll have two Barghests to feed.
>>4961428But on second thought, having thousands of Barghests to just send to eat worlds we don't like would be funny.
>>4961428>>4961431She is very friendly dog. Children will love her.
>>4961433Speaking of our kids, I hope Alitheia is here.I miss her.
Barghest eating people is something she hates. Her instincts overpowered her, and when she realized she had eaten her lover she almost snapped. She DID snap when the other Fae found his body and figured it'd be funny to imitate her and devour other humans. She said something along the lines of "all Fae should be exterminated" and turned into the dog. She was begging for someone to kill her by then.So it'd be nicer to try to help her deal with her eating disorder, rather than making it worse.
>>4961466Well yeah, thankfully all the Fae Knights are relatively fresh so we can fix them.Oh god.Terrifying thought, but... what if Manaka showed Morgan LB6?

Unless somebody like Olga accepting Manaka's deal resulted in her going Alien God and creating special world just for children.>>4961466To fundamentally help her with this we only really have concept as a solution. Barghests are by their nature bad spirirts so changing her spirit dog breed to different one could be viable solution. Barghests are connected to myths about hellhounds, Wild Hunt and dog spirirs. Giving her something that could align her into being benevolent guardian dog spirit instead of stalking ravenous one could help her here.
>>4961486Why don't we just give her the concept of "puppy" to turn her into a harmless loli?>>4961481I think we can fix anyone.Even Manaka.Maybe not Aurora though, fuck that bitch.

As her problem have nothing to do with age but instead coming from her being that one specific type of ghost dog. Think of it as how wrong class container can fuck up Servant.
>>4961501Why don't we get her a muzzle?
>>4961506I am not sure showing BDSM to all those impressionable young children by parading her around the house and outside of it in muzzle will be a good influence.

"Arturia, you're the True King of this land, so it's up to you to decide what you think we should do. Should we claim the treasures in the vault for ourselves now, or should we wait?" The amount of treasures contained within this armory might actually surpass even that which is contained in the vault of Babylon when it comes to pure power... of course Gilgamesh probably wouldn't be happy to have such an unfavorable comparison be made, it was likely the truth. To have such a myriad collection of legendary weapons and artifacts be constructed by the fairies was something that simply shouldn't have been possible, but somehow, Morgan had managed to do so. The Gate of Babylon could not possibly contain the weapons within this armory either, each weapon seemingly having been constructed by a fairy. Could Morgan really have so much authority over Gaia and the fairies that she could accomplish such a thing? How? "If we steal from this vault, we will no doubt be making enemies of Morgan and her Fairy Knights... being branded both treasonous thieves as well as enemies of the kingdom... or we could simply leave and attempt diplomacy with her later on... with an armory such as this... Morgan must be plotting something... it's up to you to decide whether or not we should take the weaponry though, it's your ability." Personally, you didn't really think that it would be wise to anger Morgan right now. If she was capable of this much, then there was no telling what she might be capable of doing if her anger were to be directed at the three of you. You'd much prefer that any confrontation with her at least started on non-hostile terms."The treasures here are plentiful and powerful, that is true... but I have no need to take them. I can tell that Morgan would simply be able to restock this arsenal in a short amount of time with the resources that seem to currently be available to her. You are right in your summation that all that stealing these treasures would do is anger Morgan. Besides, I am confident in my own arsenal of weaponry, not to mention Shirou's." She seemed to make up her mind that you weren't going to steal the weapons after all, and you nodded."Alright, then lets get out of here before 'Agravain' comes back. Shirou, you ready?" You looked at the boy for a moment and noticed that his eyes had glossed over slightly, and you had to shake him to stir him from the stupor he was in."Ah... yeah, let's go, I was just a bit stunned by the amount of weaponry that was on display, but... there seems to be something... odd about all these weapons..." Shirou scratched the back of his head as the three of you turned to flee the armory."Odd...? What do you mean by that, Shirou?" You decide to ask the boy for more information on why he thinks the way he does about all the weapons in the armory.
"It's hard to explain, but well... compared to Excalibur, which inspires hope in me whenever I look at it, those weapons... all they seem to inspire is... I don't know... perseverance? Begrudging acceptance? The forging process... it was done by fairies, that's for sure, but... it's almost as if they were forced by a greater power into it against their will." Shirou had apparently figured something out about the blades. "It's like the grudges of the ones who made these weapons are folded into the blades, and while they weren't created with the intention of being cursed weapons, there is a tiny curse held within each." That's... interesting. So all of the weapons were cursed in some way? You're really glad you decided against taking them now. But again, that casts more doubt on just what Morgan is up to. What reason could she possibly have for forcing the fairies to create weapons against their will? How could she do such a thing, even? Was she really this powerful? Or has... or has something increased her strength? You pondered that as the three of you fled the armory and cloaked yourselves once again, Shirou being held in Arturia's arms for a moment before she slung her mantle around the two of them and rendered them both invisible, and you simply held the stone which granted you the same effect in your palm once again as the three of you disappeared from the world. There was nothing to do now but to leave the castle and find somewhere to regroup, and potentially reunite with any of your other allies that might've been trapped within this world. Didn't the Fairy Knights mention something about a Black Knight? They might well be the solution to your problems, you weren't yet even sure what you were supposed to do in this world.
As you sprinted down the corridors of the castle, all three of you suddenly stopped in your tracks as a large armored woman trudged out of side door! You all immediately stopped in your tracks and you got a good look at the woman. She wasn't quite as tall as Vritra was. Her armor was intricate in design and at her side was... Excalibur Galatine? But the blade appeared to be showing the wear of battle, something that should be impossible for a blade on the level of Excalibur Galatine, but even so, there were obvious cracks in the weapon. Another striking feature of the woman was her long blonde hair that flowed behind her in addition to her eyes, one was turquoise, while the other was blue and orange. The last thing you noticed were the horns atop her head, black with blue and orange highlights, just like her eye. Judging from the weapon... you'd say this would have to be the Fairy Knight Gawain! She stopped in place and... sniffed at the air? She was clearly suspicious of something, had she noticed the three of you somehow?>Attack her preemptively, if you can capture her you'll have somebody who can explain things to you.>Observe her with your Eye of Truth, see if you can determine her power. >Uncloak yourself and see if you can speak with her. Barghest is honourable when not driven mad, and believes the strongest should rule. She also believes the strong have the responsibility to lead and care for those weaker than them. As long as we show respect and beat her in a fight, she should follow our lead.

Shirou and Artoria can always step in, but Rhon is an instant GG to pretty much anything on the level of a standard Servant anyway, at this stage I doubt Shinji would want to just obliterate her. We know she'll be weaker than "Agravain" as they claimed they were the strongest by a long margin.Curtana is the Sword of Mercy, it shouldn't be able to deal fatal blows conceptually, and it's also partially broken to match her scuffed Galatine. Also, if Barghest actually understands what us requesting that sword means that might also earn some early GBP, seeing as she actually does like larping as a KOTR, however Shinji is unaware of this.>Courtain (also Curtana, Cortana, Sword of Mercy), it is linked to the legendary sword carried by Tristan and Ogier the Dane. Its end is blunt and squared, said to symbolize mercy. The story surrounding the breaking of the weapon is unknown, but mythological history indicates that the tip was broken off by an angel to prevent a wrongful killing.
>>4961689>>4961999 Reasonable enough as it will be a fight one way or the other so we might as well do it with style. And Sword of Mercy is a nice gesture since Sword of Truth could just outright kill her as would Rhon.We should keep Rhon in mind if rest of Fairy Knights arrive since summoning our Enforcerchads would be a good distraction for us to escape if all goes sour.

'Shirou. Arturia. Only interfere if there looks as if there is a real possibility that I might actually be killed,' You give a quick mental order to the two of them before you unclench your hand around the pebble in your hand and slide it into a pocket, revealing yourself to the Fairy Knight without much fanfare. The woman is clearly startled by the sudden appearance of the robed man in front of her, so it's even clearer that 'Agravain' is a special case. After all, if this knight didn't know who you were, then how could the Fairy Knight Agravain?"An... intruder? In the castle?" The female knight suddenly put her hand on her sheathed blade and you could tell she was prepared to draw it on a moment's notice, not that she really had a need for a weapon at all with her body. She was... clearly pretty ridiculously powerful physically, without even needing to rely on the battered looking sword that doesn't even truly belong to her at her side. "You'd best start explaining just what it is you think you're doing here, spellcaster, before I decide it would be more convenient to see if the secrets can't be pulled from your corpse." She spoke in a dangerous tone, but you thought nothing of it."Fairy Knight Gawain." You took a guess at the name, but it really couldn't be anybody else. "I am Shinji Makiri, and I would challenge you to an honorable duel following the code of a knight. As such, seeing as I have given you my True Name, I would request the same of you, on your honor as a Knight. Then, we can begin." You requested the woman fight you in honorable combat, and... honestly, it was a bit of a gamble for you to believe that she'd be so quick to follow the code that Gawain himself may have once followed, but... it seemed like she didn't just go by the name of a knight for no reason."Grr... fine. If you wish to call upon a code of honor I must follow, then I shall inform you that your first assumption of my True Name was correct. I am the Fairy Knight Gawain... but my original name is Barghest." Barghest? Like... the monstrous dog of British folklore? She... certainly didn't appear monstrous in her current form, but you'd long since reached a point where you could be startled by something that should be grotesque appearing in the form of a beautiful woman. You turned a boat into a little girl the other day, after all. "Now, I hope you aren't going to be too weak. This is my first duel with anybody, and I'd really not like for my first enemy to be a total pushover." She was clearly underestimating you based on your attire, which... you admit, was clearly more fit for a wizard than a swordsman, especially without your breastplate, but you were more than confident in your own abilities.
"Wonderful!" You smile at Barghest, who doesn't seem to know what to make of your enthusiasm. "As I see that your sword is somewhat damaged, I too shall request a 'damaged' blade." You turn to Shirou and Saber who had yet to uncloak themselves. "Shirou, may I request a copy of Curtana for this fight? I wish to make this a fair battle, not decided by the superiority of weaponry, but instead the power of the two fighting." "Oh, uh... right. Just give me a moment." Shirou and Saber were suddenly revealed to the world as Saber pulled back her mantle, and Barghest immediately fixated on her appearance. "You... You're... the queen, aren't you?" It looked as if Barghest had gotten just a little bit confused, and you really didn't know what to make of things now. Saber obviously didn't know what to think about so openly being referred to as a Queen either. "No... wait... you... for what reason do you have Ddraig's scent, Queen Mordred?"What.Barghest seemed more curious than she seemed hostile right now, but it was clear that your original idea of having her battle you in an honorable one-on-one duel may have just fallen apart. You think that Saber is capable of dealing with this by herself. She's the one who Barghest is addressing right now, and you do have enough faith in the King of Knights that she'll be able to deceive Barghest into thinking that she's Queen Mordred, as strange as the idea of Mordred being called a queen was. The biggest question on your mind right now though was the identity of Queen Mordred. Was she a native of this world? Or was she your own Mordred? You didn't know right now, but you were certain that you'd find out sooner rather than later. With your own thoughts racing you watched as Barghest looked at Saber with curious eyes."Ddraig? Ah." Saber pretended not to understand for a few moments before understanding dawned on her face. "Oh, I see. You're new here, are you not, Barghest?" Saber looked at the taller woman with a calm expression. "Yes, the scent of Ddraig... it... was something I was born with, I have an aspect of Ddraig Goch within me, after all." Wait a minute Ddraig Goch... Then... could that other fairy knight have possibly been another warrior infused with the power of the Red Dragon too? Or perhaps... they were the Red Dragon themselves in human form?! Could Saber have realized that too?"Y-you were? F-forgive me for my ignorance, my queen, but... were you not born a Fairy to your mother? I had... I have been told by the other knights that you were a pure-blooded fairy... I didn't know that you had been born with the aspects of Ddraig Goch!" Barghest... she didn't exactly seem very intelligent, in fact, it was almost like Saber was managing to convince her, where if Barghest just took a look at things with a keener eye for detail, she'd probably notice quite a lot was wrong."Yes... I was, but..." Saber hesitates. "It is not impossible for a Fairy to have traits of a Dragon. It is just... unlikely, is all." Saber's explanation was actually factually correct, considering the existence of Obeithion. "Oh no, my queen. I am not doubting you, but..." Barghest looked at Saber for a long time before she finally spoke once more. "Don't you normally wear red clothing? And... don't you normally have wings?" Barghest seemed to just be confusing herself now, before realization seemed to start to dawn on her features. "Why are you hiding your wings, your majesty?""I am... trying to be.. more like mother." Saber made a reach. "I am keeping my wings hidden in order to... allow the people to find me more approachable." Saber was clearly just making stuff up as she went, hoping that Barghest didn't notice how inconsistent the story being spun was. "Hmm... well. Weren't you supposed to be visiting the Fae Forge today?" Barghest kept asking Saber questions that Saber really had no real way of knowing what the answer was supposed to be.
"Oh, right! Of course! That's right!" Saber obviously didn't know what that meant at all, but it wasn't stopping her now. She was hitting her stride now, just speaking and hoping that Barghest didn't notice she wasn't saying much of anything. "P-pardon my rudeness, my queen, but... who exactly are the two men accompanying you? I haven't seen their faces around." Barghest... she really did buy that Saber was the queen, didn't she? This woman... she's not very bright, is she? Then again, it's probably one of the easier assumptions to make about the situation, and Barghest... she did seem like the sort of person who was easy to trick. You felt like it might be a good idea if you stepped in to help Saber out.>"I am Shinji Makiri, and this is my squire Shirou. I am a traveling knight, seeking to challenge the greatest warriors of the world.">"I am Shinji Makiri, famous wizard, and this is my apprentice Shirou. Barg spaghetti'd a fair bit of info here, we can now just make the fight a friendly showing for the "Queen", retroactively justified by us specifying Curtana to show we had no intention of anything more than a friendly joust too. If we get tangled in a lie she might seethe though, so I feel it's probably best to just get her eye back on the prize. If Shinji has deduced she's a bit special/naive but is physically capable, it'd be better trying to talk after we've had a bit of a fight. We might have reason to go investigate the Forge right after this, potentially even convince Barghest to show us the way after the duel as we've 'gotten a little lost exploring the city'. Then she might spaghetti more information on the way if that pans out.

Speaking about strange things.>Queen Mordred>I have been told by the other knights that you were a pure-blooded fairyAnd>>4945537>Stop bothering her, Barghest. The Queen doesn't like it when people try to get close to Ddraig.Very suspicious.
>>4963662Well we don't know what kind of world this is that Manaka set Morgan up with. We know Morgan loves Artoria, so a world without her wouldn't have been her ideal. Normally, Ddraig is a component of Artoria. Either the welshoid red dragon was used like any other fairy knight, e.g. Melusine!Albion which would be a direct counterpart, or it's a part of Artoria and she's been given the position of a knight?Maybe Artoria is just a normal girl without Merlin meddling with her birth and adding a dragon core. Morgan is her older sister by quite a long period of time so she probably put Merlin in gbj just like LB6, or deleted him. Mordred is apparently queen though, so maybe this was the case and Artoria died? Maybe palmed off the Kay and Ector and has "died" in the public eye but just gets to be a normal girl without political pressure?Or maybe she died, Morgan had a fairy moment and Artoria is a zombie just like the Corpse King part of Morgan's "genius" resurrection plan from mainline canon?I wonder if Vortigern and Sumanai also got sucked into here. Non fairy-niggered Vortigern would be interesting. Melusine wouldn't like him much though.
>>4963714>Or maybe she died, Morgan had a fairy moment and Artoria is a zombie just like the Corpse King part of Morgan's "genius" resurrection plan from mainline canon?Quite possible. Assuming this is Fairyland lostbelt situation, Morgan likely got "re do her life" deal with Manaka so that would mean Fairy Queen Mordred is not our Mordred but Morgan's second attempt at parenting. We are aware that our Mordred is not a fairy and have dragon scent to her so unless Mordred got fairy-niggered this would be diverging timeline Mordred? But knight we fought is likely being Arc so it is making it also possible that our Mordred is indeed Fairy Queen one after she got Mommy Know Best brainwashed by Morgan. That would explain why Morgan is so uneasy about "extra" Artoria she got and made Ddraig out of.Both of those things we would only be able to tell after taking a look on this Mordred and Ddraig.Or it could indeed be that our Morgan got Merlin removed after she got here, made Artoria step down for her own good and this is now somewhat decent kingdom. This would make sense to her character arc as she wants to make things right, amend for her mistakes and have new powers to do so but having fairy moments from time to time.We really need to find somebody to press for information properly.
But if Morgan actually went and knowingly made second Mordred, while having all her memories, this is the biggest fairy moment she ever had.But if this is the case could Black Knight actually be our Timelord Mordred? This would connect to her desire to take the throne as rightful ruler and this solves her character arc without need to play map painting game post-war.
>>4963714>I wonder if Vortigern and Sumanai also got sucked into here. Non fairy-niggered Vortigern would be interesting. Melusine wouldn't like him much though. One more thing about this.If they are here so will JETS and all three of them were slaving for Manaka. Could they be Manaka's card against Morgan if Morgan tries to rebel? Morgan doing subpar job at stopping us while making all those weapons could be her scheme against Manaka. More welcoming idea than having to potentially fight buffed Morgan.

You decide that it would be better to introduce yourself and Shirou properly... with a lie of course. "I am Shinji Makiri, and this is my traveling companion Shirou. We are traveling knights, and I am here seeking to challenge the greatest warriors of the world." Yeah, that ought to do it."You're really a knight...?" Barghest crossed her arms. "With an outfit like that? I'd have taken you for a jester, or some sort of wizard." Barghest sounded confused by your explanation, but she didn't seem entirely unbelieving. Honestly, you were starting to feel bad about deceiving her. Sure, she was undoubtedly your enemy, but she was just so earnest and quick to trust that it was hard to actually think of her as an enemy."Ah... I come from beyond this country, of course. Where I come from this sort of attire is normal for a swordsman, I assure you that though it doesn't focus on defense like your plate does, it is nonrestrictive and allows for movements that would be quite difficult for you replicate in that heavy plate of yours." You then chuckled as you scratched the back of your head, looking at the woman, who tilted her head in confusion. "Besides, I did have a breastplate, but... it seems like I managed to misplace it somewhere, unfortunately, so I've been making do." You really wish you hadn't been caught so unaware and been without it when Manaka went through with her plan."Interesting..." Barghest stroked her chin as she looked at Shirou. "And you say that you're both knights?" Barghest suddenly asked a question. "Then I suppose I have no choice but to accept your offer of a duel, but... we shouldn't do such things in the hall. We should have our duel in the courtyard, for all to see! T-the queen might be here, but that doesn't mean that it's alright to just duel anywhere, is it?" Barghest swallowed nervously. "N-not that I don't think that you alone are good enough as a witness, your majesty, it's just..." "Oh, I understand, Barghest." Saber shook her head and gave Barghest a reassuring smile. "A duel without an audience gives the two knights less incentive to battle honorably. However... you do both have witnesses here do you not? Shinji has Shirou, and... well, would you call your own Ki-... Queen an insufficient witness to a duel?" Saber scolded Barghest, and the woman winced a bit."O-of course not your majesty! But... in one of the halls of the castle? Is this really suitable for a duel?" Barghest sounded uncertain, but Saber shook her head, almost like a parent scolding a child now.
"Barghest, as a knight, one must be prepared to fight at any moment. Do you think that many battles take place in training arenas or castle courtyards? The fact that this battle is to take place in the halls of the castle is proof of the legitimacy of the battle." Saber dispensed some kingly wisdom onto the knight, who clearly wanted to be a good knight despite her inexperience with the role. That... might've been why Saber was so understanding with her, actually. It did truly seem as if Barghest was at heart a decent person and it was clear that she was taking her role as a knight seriously, unlike the Fairy Knight Agravain, who was... well, saying she was carefree about her duty would be putting it lightly."I... I understand, your majesty!" She turned to face you. "I will accept your request of a duel, Sir Shinji!" Her expression hardened. "Please understand that I am forced to hold back some of my strength, the... Queen's mother has expressly forbidden me from using the full extent of my powers, especially on humans like you." She sounded slightly regretful about not being able to access her true power, but you shrugged."That's fine, Barghest." She'd given you yet more useful information thanks to that little slip. Does Morgan truly care about the population, then? "Shirou! Curtana, if you would." Shirou nodded, projecting the blade and tossing it over to you. You grabbed it out of the air and examined it for a moment. Curtana, the sword of coronations, and a weapon of mercy. The tip of the blade was squared and blunt while the main body of the blade was sharp. However, other than just the unusual design of the blade it also held a potent magical effect within it. Curtana was the Sword of Mercy, and when used in a one-on-one battle, it would prevent either of the targets from being able to truly fatally wound each other in physical combat. Of course, it was possible to overwhelm the effect of the Noble Phantasm with another Noble Phantasm, but you really doubted Barghest suddenly using Excalibur Galatine's activated ability on you in a duel."T-that... that sword!" Barghest frowned as she looked at Curtana, and for a moment you believe she might've recognized it. "Are you... holding back your own strength with a blunt weapon just because I said I too was incapable of using my full strength?!" Wait what is she talking about now? "Is this... the chivalry of a knight?" You sighed and got into a fighting stance with the blade. "In a sense, I suppose." You kept your answer short as you looked at Barghest, waiting for her to draw her blade. "Now, Sir Gawain." You used her title as a fairy knight to address her. "Draw your sword and let us battle.">Fight defensively, scan her with your Pure Eye and look for weaknesses.>Fight offensively, activate you Dragon Core and overwhelm her with your speed.>Bind her in chains forged of Truth at the first opportunity.>Focus on countering her with your Instinct.>Write-in...

>>4964479>Fight defensively, scan her with your Pure Eye and look for weaknesses.>Focus on countering her and putting her down quickly when you find a solid opening to exploit.>Use your Instinct and a sudden offensive surge/momentum shift with Mana Burst and Rune Magic to achieve this.Barghest constantly spaghettis useful info, so drawing out the fight gives us lots more to work with, but we should probably end this quickly once a chance appears. Otherwise we risk having someone catch up who isn't a complete retard and we might get captured and sent to GBJ. But Shinji still has E STR, and even though we don't know Barghest's stats yet, Shinji has already surmised she'd have pretty high STR/END from her armour + figure. With Curtana in effect there isn't much reason to bother with Truth projections for now, and we can go pretty hard in the sudden offensive shift as Curtana will prevent it being fatal. Also, if it's daytime Numeral of the Saint activates, also Barg outgrugs Shinji pretty hard if she isn't rused.
>>4964479>>4964493That should do it.
"Very well." Barghest drew Excalibur Galatine, and you could see clearly the damage done to the blade now. You don't know what the woman was doing to the blade, but it really shouldn't be possible to have managed to do that much damage to a blade forged by fairies like Excalibur Galatine was, right? Pure physical strength alone and battle damage shouldn't be able to wear away at the blade, should it? Not unless she was far more powerful than you had first assumed. You point Curtana at Barghest. "Let's get to it, shall we?" You smirk at the knight as you get into a loose combat position, mostly focusing on dodging and parrying her, though as you got into position, you activated your Pure Eye and finally got a good look at the knight, and finally, it seemed as if the ability was able to work correctly, as in an instant, a torrent of new information flooded into your mind about Barghest, with only a few things that couldn't be breached by your appraising eye. It's actually quite a relief for the Pure Eye to function. For a moment, you had thought that it was simply non-functioning. Of course, it did beg the question of why it is being so unreliable within this world, if it worked as you had wanted it to on Barghest.[Status Updated!]You clicked your tongue in thought as you observed Barghest's abilities, physically, she was a monster, and her parameters were incredible too. While not on the level of the Fairy Knight Agravain, she was physically already a Top Class Saber, but with Numeral of the Saint available to her, she was at least close to the level of her fellow knight. Of course, without the activation of the skill through the usage of Excalibur Galatine or the sun shining upon her, it shouldn't be too difficult to win against her. Unfortunately, she had no easily exploitable weaknesses, her Madness Enhancement didn't seem as if it would be coming into play here either, though you were thankful for that. This was, for all intents and purposes, an actual duel, and not something where you would want your enemy to lose their self to their madness and start actively trying to kill you. Curtana was only a C-rank Noble Phantasm, and would certainly have its protective enchantments overwhelmed should Barghest use the activated effect of Excalibur Galatine on you. You were betting on the good nature of Barghest that she wouldn't do such a thing.
After a brief stand-off between you and Barghest, with the woman coming to realize that you had no intention of making the first move, she stepped forwards and began a rapid charge at you, her speed was incredible, but the moment you activated your Dragon Core, you were faster. You dodged out of the way of her first strike, allowed the second to harmlessly slide off of Curtana, the force behind the attack being diminished by the power of the blade. She growled as she spun around and attempted a wide slash, clearly hoping to put her superior range to use and overwhelm you with her size. All you did to avoid that strike was jump upwards, leaping directly over Barghest while using her head as a stepping stone. It didn't actually do all that much outside of make Barghest annoyed and make you look stylish."Hey! What the hell was that?!" Barghest frowned as she realized just what you had done, though you only smirked widely at the woman. Even though she wasn't an enemy, and was quite earnest as a knight, there was really a part of you that couldn't help but taunt opponents in fights, it was kind of petty, but it was effective nonetheless."I dodged your attack, Barghest." You said it plainly, and the woman growled once more, charging forward with terrible speed. Her charge alone causing cracks to form in the floor and wall of the corridor, she was fast, there was no doubt about it, but so long as you had your Dragon Core, you were faster, and there was nothing that she could do to hit you unless she started to fight smart. Unfortunately, her armor was incredibly thick, and you could tell that only a perfect strike would allow you to take the woman down in this fight. Thankfully, Curtana couldn't actually kill an opponent, so you were safe to actually make a lethal strike with it. Even if such a thing would be difficult with the blade being blunt. You didn't really have the time you needed to use your runes on yourself, so you were mostly left with Mana Burst. You needed to end this fight, and you calmed your senses as you took a good look at Barghest's body, it was heavily armored, and Curtana wouldn't be able to pierce it. So, with her armor in mind, to take her out, you were going to target her...>Head!>Neck!>Horns!>The joints in her armor!>Write-in...

Improper use by a false owner has reduced the rank to B, though the blade can still create a tremendous wave of flame to incinerate entire armies. The Pseudo-sun contained within the hilt of the blade allows for Barghest to wield the power of Numeral of the Saint at all times. This is the cause of the degradation of the blade. We need to fix her sword at some point since her sanity is connected to it and it is looks like time bomb here.

>Grabbing a dog’s scruff is an indication of dominance. In wild dogs, or dogs that are fighting, the dominant one will grab the other dog’s scruff. Mothers will also grab their pups by the scruff and gently shake when they are bad.>When your dog does an undesired behavior you should react immediately. It represents new beginnings and “movable” wealth such as money and credit. It is a rune that gives us the power we need to obtain wealth as well as the power we need to hold on to it.>Casting meaning: This rune represents the ability we have to resist unwanted conflicts in a passive manner. It is a rune of protection and can tell us of a possible change that would have otherwise come without warning. You can use the protection aspect of Thurisaz as a defense against adversaries.>Gebo represents the honor and connection that is created between people when they exchange gifts. The connection and honor is similar to the connection and honor that a person has with the gods for giving them life.Runes instead of just voice commands as she is not a normal dog but magical dog barghest and Fairy Knight Gawain. These three runes will affect both Barghest`s nature and instinct as barghest (dog) as well as translate our dominance and potential killing blow capability of this to her as a skilled knight. This should indicate to her our victory without it seeming derogatory as such combination not unlike Ath nGabla but to show victory over your opponent. Connecting to her primal nature with establishing dominance like this also plays in both aspects of her recognizing our strength and translating to her our superior position over her as this play on both her personality and natural instincts.
>>4965258You mean the things covered by a giant solid plate?>you calmed your senses as you took a good look at Barghest's body, it was heavily armored, and Curtana wouldn't be able to pierce it.We should probably concept her sword with Unbreakable or let Shirou have a go at repairing it, as mentioned >>4965261If she gets into a proper fight or that blade connects with Arondight or any other unbreakable weapon/shield, or even just from excessive use it'll shatter and she'll return to rip and tear calamity doge. You charge directly at Barghest with Curtana, using your Mana Burst for the first time in the battle to propel yourself forwards at a speed that she can't even react to with the blade of Curtana pointed directly at her breastplate. She can barely even respond in time to gasp in surprise at your immense speed as the blunt end of Curtana smashes into her breastplate and while it doesn't pierce it, it stuns her for the moment that you need to use the impact against her armor to pivot yourself off of your own blade and up into the air, back-flipping as you passed over the woman and landing on her back. Curtana clattered to the ground as you held onto her back."Hey! W-what the hell are you doing now?!" Barghest started to struggle wildly to shake you off, trying to reach behind her to grab you off of her, but her armor was much too bulky to allow her to make such a movement. It was quite humorous, that she would have such thick armor that it would become an inconvenience against a smaller enemy with a speed advantage. You didn't feel the need to answer her verbally, instead, you whipped your right hand out towards the back of her neck, grabbing her by the scruff of her neck and holding tightly. Barghest was a dog, so by that logic, holding the scruff of her neck should have quite the calming effect. You weren't holding her painfully either, just with enough force that you felt was neccessary for bringing the woman to heel. Your theory seemed to work out quite well, as nearly immediately after being grabbed by the scruff of her neck, her struggles decreased in intensity somewhat. But... you weren't stopping there. Now that her struggles had decreased a little, you were free to use your other hand that was holding on for something else. You quickly used your left hand to trace temporary runes on the back of her armor. Fehu, Thurisaz and Gebo. All runes that were made to affect her more primal instincts as Barghest and force her to recognize your dominance as well as your victory. "I told you to get... off!" Barghest suddenly surged with power, but it wasn't enough to break your grip, and her last attempt to shake you off ended in failure as the energy she had just summoned up amounted to nothing."I don't think I will. Now, are you ready to surrender yet, Barghest?" You spoke softly into the ear of the woman who you were currently riding.
"Nghh..." Barghest seemed close to surrender, and you realized that you were close to securing victory, until she suddenly just... fell over backwards on top of you, using you as a cushion for her own fall and crushing you under her weight. All of a sudden, your plan had gone from working flawlessly to falling apart. The runes that you traced on the back of Barghest's armor shattered too! "I think I should be asking the same of you, Sir Shinji." The woman sounded terribly pleased by her solution to your strategy, and it was undeniably effective. In a contest of strength alone, you couldn't push her off of you! She was too strong! But... you might be able to do something else...>Blow her away with Mana Burst.>Surrender to her.>Apply a concept to her. This is the perfect opportunity! (What Concept?)>>Okuriōkami As Knight of the Sun, Gawain connected and draws strength from the Sun and Nasu made Ammy to be the Sun as part of his Syncretism for Tamamo.Barghests are wild mythical dogs who haunt and bring misfortune and often viewed as being able to foretell deaths and bad events happening to people whom encounter them.Okuriōkami is japanese for escort wolf, a benevolent servant of a specific kami or guardian spirit. As Sun connection make her aligned to Ammy and Barghest`s innate abilities for omen predictions further connects her to okuriōkami. Additionally, as a Fairy Knight, she also has a strong connection to guardian spirits. Overall, this prevents her from transforming into a monster, which is a big concern for her, and helps to empower her good side, personal qualities and powers.More on this matter here.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_wolf#CultureAs we have favour of the Sun through Ammy, this also should help to purge any bad and controlling effects Barghest might have on her, as benevolent divine powers of Ammy also work as strong protection.

>>4966195Between her good nature as a person and us fulfilling her desire, we also technically work for Mordred too, and so helping her out is our job as well. While we are not fully aware of the situation here, we know enough to explain our motivation without looking dishonorable or making her develop a grudge.Framing this as a test and potentially promising her a proper duel later would also sit right with her. And it won`t be an outright lie either, as we indeed used this fight to test her power and Pure Eye showed us just enough to make a decision.

>>4966153YO QMWHEN ARE YOU GOING TO ADD "HIM" INTO THIS QUEST TO DUEL SHINJI 1V1?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AStaE_NpV0
Ha! If she thinks that she's got you pinned, then she's got another thing coming! All she's managed to do is put you in the perfect position to apply a concept to her! Then, when she realizes what you did, she'll have no choice but to submit to you! You could've probably just tried to push her off of you in the time before she managed to properly use her strength against you considering she was currently laying atop you like a flipped turtle, but you had a better idea. You touched her with your right hand and started the mental countdown. Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Barghest used the moment of you not struggling at all to reposition herself atop you, turning herself around to face you directly with a savage smirk on her face. You hadn't had our connection broken to her, and you continued to hold here. Five. Four. Three... "What's the matter, Sir Shinji?" She said with a self-satisfied expression on her face. "You're not too weak to push somebody like me off of you, are you? Are you even trying?!" She seemed to want you to try harder, but... two... one! You expected to enter her conceptual world at that moment, but... instead, nothing happened. You... you'd held her the entire time. You were sure of it! The conditions were fulfilled, so... so why did nothing happen?!"This is getting ridiculous..." You could hear Saber's disapproving statement, looking over to see her shaking her head as she watched the mockery that the two of you were making of knightly duels, but you were still reeling from the revelation that... you were suddenly incapable of granting a concept to somebody. You were... incapable of saving somebody with your powers. Could... could Manaka even be behind this much? Could she have prevented you from even using the magic that had served you so well for so long? Had she really managed to grow that much in power?! "Even Queen Mordred agrees, Sir Shinji! Submit, or I'll be forced to crush you until you do!" Barghest had decided to start threatening you now, and your mind raced, looking for solutions to your current problem. It was a worst case scenario. Your most powerful weapon had failed you at the worst possible time. From this point onward, it... it might be impossible to apply any concepts at all! It was a terrifying thought. but... it really did feel like Manaka was trying to directly counter everything you tried now. You looked up at Barghest's eyes, and though there was a gentle nature to them hidden behind her lust for battle, you could tell that she wouldn't accept anything less than a struggle. You might be pinned, and your most reliable ability may have failed you, but the fight... it couldn't be over, right?>Just submit to Barghest. That's it. If you can't apply a concept to her, then you'll have to stop messing around and actually start taking this battle seriously. You utter a silent apology to Barghest as you allow the energy of your peerless magic core to explode outwards, and the woman straddling you is sent smashing into the ceiling with a loud crash, and you leap back to your feet. "That's it. No more playing around, Barghest." You couldn't afford to take this battle lightly anymore. You were going to finish this now! You didn't bother summoning Rhongomyniad to your hand, nor did you pick up Curtana once more. Instead, you summoned the weapon that you had the most faith in. A sword forged out of your golden truth, that miracle energy that only you should be able to truly comprehend."Ack!" Barghest grunted in pain as she smashed into the floor, having fallen from the ceiling already, though she didn't remain on her back for long. "Yeah! That's what I'm talking about! That's what a real fight is about!" She was getting excited now, it seems. "You're strong, aren't you? I thought you weren't going to be able to get me off of you, and then you go ahead and do something like that!" You can see that there were... cracks on one of her horns? Had you done more damage than you intended? Wait a second... was she taller now? No, it was just your imagination, you were pretty sure. "Come on, Sir Shinji! Show me just what you can do!" She charged towards you with a renewed speed, grasping for your face with her hand! It was all that you could do to avoid the strike landing, stepping to the side just in time to strike at her with your Truth Blade! The edge of the blade connected with her armor, and time seemed to freeze for a moment as you noticed black cracks forming down the Blade of Truth, and shining golden cracks forming on Barghest's armor! You didn't even have the time you needed to defend yourself before a tremendous explosion rocked the room as the Blade of Truth exploded, just as Barghest's armor had been detonated. The two of you skidded across the floor of the corridor, Barghest tumbling across the floor like a rag-doll while you managed to stay mostly on your feet. What the hell was that?! "Barghest... your armor! What... What was that?! Why did it explode!?" You demanded an answer from the woman, who got to her feet despite her injuries. She was still wearing her under armor, thankfully, but she was obviously that much more vulnerable now, not to mention hurt."What was that...?" She pondered aloud. "That was the fight getting interesting! Now, entertain me, Shinji!" She had dropped the sir from your name now, but all of a sudden, before the dog woman could charge at you once again, the atmosphere of the room seemed to freeze, and an oppressive density of magical energy seemed to flood the place."No, Barghest. That will be enough. Return to the rest of the knights." Morgan suddenly spoke from the shadows with a neutral tone.
"Morgan!" Saber shouted at her sister and drew her blade looking for the source of the void, though the only response she received from her sister was a shake of her head."I have no need for you or your husband right now, sister. Disappear until you are needed." As Saber seemed to discern Morgan's location and charged at her, a reflective mirror appeared in front of her that she stumbled right into, and another mirror appeared directly below Shirou's feet, and the two of them were gone. "But... Lady Morgan!" Barghest sounded like she was about to complain, but seemed to decide against it, fleeing into the corridor without further complaint. When you were truly alone, Morgan spoke once more. "I'm sure you have many questions, Shinji. About what's happening here, about how this world came about." Suddenly, black chains pierced through the floor, wrapping around you. "It's unfortunate that things have happened this way, but I was forced into this by our... mutual acquaintance." You struggled in the chains, and you realized immediately that they were designed to sap your energy. "If you have any questions, I suggest you ask them now." Arrogance and anger is her expectations from Shinji so it is works well to play on Manaka's arrogance and lower her vigilance for comeback after something which is likely depowering and relearning to fight with his other powers. Also, she likely sent Saber and Shirou somewhere for them to start working on rescue plan for us so if you have any trust for Morgan don't mention them at all since it could make observing Manaka to go check on them herself.

>>4969183>>"join my side yet again to restore the chance for a better future for us all, or persist in the doomed fairytale you have created."Is this a morrowind reference
"Questions, huh?" Yeah, you had a few questions, and if she was willing to answer them, you supposed that you'd start with an easier one. "First off, was this what you wanted? This world, it was created for you by Manaka, wasn't it?" It didn't take a genius to figure out that this place was some sort of Singularity or Lostbelt, but you wanted to know just how involved in the creation of this world Morgan had been. But... you had expected some sort of treachery to come from Morgan at some point, so it's not really like this was something that had completely blindsided you. Besides, you'd heard something about fairies not being able to lie somewhere, but... you weren't really sure if that was the case for Morgan. "What I wanted...? This? Maybe... maybe this was the world that I had once sought, but even if it were not, I could not in good faith allow Camelot to fall once again. Even if that means I must step up to serve as the acting sovereign." Wait... acting Sovereign? So Mordred was allowing Morgan to just... make all the decisions for her? That didn't sound like your Mordred at all! Would she have really just stood by and allowed Morgan to make all the choices for her? No. It couldn't be, it didn't make sense. "Still, there is very little I can do against what I have had thrust upon me." Morgan's voice sounded frustrated, and you frowned. The chains were tight."Well, if you're the ruler of this country right now, what is it you actually want? I'll have you know that Mordred officially appointed me as her advisor, and that's a role that ought to supersede yours as her mother. Or am I supposed to be the Merlin of this tale? The wizard who subtly manipulates things so that the kingdom of Camelot would fall with the least bloodshed?" You shrugged in your chains, looking around for Morgan, but finding no trace of her."You may have been appointed as Mordred's advisor by the queen, but as the Regent, I can still overturn your authority should you be found guilty of... say, treason? Assisting a pretender to the throne's attempted invasion of the Castle." Pretender to the throne? Could you really call Saber a pretender to the throne? It was her throne! Or at least, it should've been. You understand that things have changed here, in this world. But not why and how they had changed. "So therefore, the only sentence that should really be a fitting penalty for you would be death... or at least that's what the law states, but we both know better than that, you have a special relationship with Mordred, and she'd never forgive me if I killed you. Besides, I don't have any inclination to kill you anyway." Morgan kept talking, it seems like she was purposely staying out of sight, she must've been aware of your Pure Eye, annoyingly enough.
"Fine, accuse me of treason, it doesn't matter much, because we both know it's a lie. I want to ask you something else. Those knights that you've got wandering around. What exactly are they?""Oh, you want to know about the Fairytale Knights? Warriors snatched from stories to serve a new purpose working for me. I was... shown their fates in a far more twisted future of Britain than this one, and... I saw loyalty rewarded with suffering. Goodness rewarded with evil. A world that was oppressively controlled by the fairies, a facsimile of the world that was eventually shredded and allowed to fade into the oblivion it had emerged from." Morgan spoke softly, a world controlled by fairies? "In that world, I was the doomed ruler of a kingdom not unlike this one, and... not unlike how I am now. Doomed to persist until my undoing and the undoing of this world. This world is a cursed dream. The nightmare is that which comes after the dream ends." There was a truly deep sadness in Morgan's voice, and you didn't really know what to say to the woman. How badly had Manaka managed to get to her? "Even their happiness is linked to the continued existence of this world. When it comes to an end, so will they. The memories they made here will be eradicated, the happiness that they managed to achieve by themselves. All nothing but a false whisper written on eroding parchment..." "I want to ask you about this world, Morgan. What do you mean by false?""It's a dream built on reality. A falsehood existing upon truth. When the page is turned, like words on a page, this world will fade, and so will everything within it. This world..." Morgan sighed deeply. "It was built not to imprison you, or to slow you down. But to break you. To show you that not everything can be saved. By the time I realized the true purpose of that girl's scheme, it was already too late. I had become the ruler of this world composed of dreams given form through that girl's power. I am the Sovereign Ruler of all Fairies and Fairytales, doomed to fade into fables along with the entire world I was given.""So... you're saying that this world is... like a page of a book?" How could that be? Wait... that was how Manaka brought you all into this world in the first place! The entire world folded in upon itself like it was nothing but a book! You hadn't ever imagined that it would've been so literal!
"Of course. Where do you think we are now, Shinji? Why do you think that your powers have not been functioning in this world the longer you stay here?" Morgan shook her head. "Your power of Truth, I figured it out when that girl started to showcase those powers, greater than your own, even. You are a being from a world beyond my one, aren't you? The world that created my world... but... that is exactly the reason your powers no longer work correctly in this world, is because... this universe... it is a universe of Manaka Sajyou's creation. That girl has become the creator of an entire universe that is no larger than a book held in her hands. You've already started to feel it, haven't you? You're no longer able to rewrite the world as you wish. Another hand holds the pen now." You grit your teeth hard enough that your jaw began to ache. This was worse than you had ever possibly imagined it could've been. You thought that you were supposed to stop Manaka from achieving this level of power! Were you mislead by Nyarlathotep!? What could he have to gain out of this?! "Still, it is fortunate that you found yourself in this world first, I have my doubts that any of the others who accepted her offer would've been able to figure out the Truth of the situation." "Then... if you're an ally to me... and you don't wish for the destruction of everything... why have you bound me in these chains?! Together we may be able to save this world and its inhabitants! I am Truth Given Form!, and I won't allow some insane girl to usurp me! I can't allow it!" "Then prove it to me. How do you suggest defeating an insane deity that has no weaknesses, that could kill either of us as we are right now with so much as a thought?" Morgan asked, desperation in her voice, though only the slightest hint of it. She too must've been wracking her mind for an answer to such a seemingly insurmountable foe, but even she could not come up with a scheme to truly allow herself to oppose Manaka. >"If she could kill me with a thought, I imagine she would have already. She still needs me.">"There must be a way to gain control over the worlds that Manaka has created, do these worlds... have cores, by any chance?">"If you thought things were truly hopeless, you would've killed me already. Is there anything you learned from your own experiences with that world that might help us here? The existence of anything or anyone I particular whose existence I should know of or be wary of? Using knowledge of these stories was how I managed to serve the needs and desires of so many people up until this point. Now, with that girl's interference, and without some of my powers I am somewhat limited. Any information would help.>"If she could kill me with a thought, I imagine she would have already. Convincing Morgan and stopping Manaka does.
>>4969726So we've lost truth and metaknowledge, and there is a chance we can get some metaknowledge back here as Morgan is describing something pretty close to something he could expect to be LB6.Why pass up the chance if the info could save him? Shinji has few tools left at his disposal and Manakas threat level just skyrocketed. He needs everything he can get. Look at how aimless he was when he ended up in this Camelot realm.
Within the expectations but can't say that I was expecting for Manaka to be meta enough to read Vorechad's Manaka route ending story and start trying to recreate it. And I guess this was foreshadowed by Morrígan with Lady of the Books namedrop for Manaka during our brief fight. It just got a lot more meta in meaning. And congratulations are in order for Morgan for snatching fifth place in I Can Actually Understand Shinji's Perspective And Feelings About The World By Being Meta Aware.>>4969499>>4969631Supporting this. >>4969782We asked Morgan questions, and she answered. Her answers tell us what this world is, and it's not LB6. It's Manaka offering to make her dream come true, like she offered Sakura. I imagine it's a world where she won at Camlann and she has her own little obedient copy of Mordred to act as a figurehead, just like she wanted once. Everything that happened in LB6 is irrelevant here. Now Morgan is asking a question. Before doing anything else, we need to answer it if we hope to convince her.
>>4969804So despite all the shared characters between this camelot and lb6, and Morgan actually mentioning she is privy to the story of something that he would assume to be lb6 from basic reasoning, you're going to just assume that absolutely nothing from lb6 might be important metaknowledge here? There is really no harm in asking. The knowledge could prove important both in giving her a complete answer and in the future too. He doesn't have enough information to give her a properly satisfactory answer just now. Why do you think half the prompts are questions? Even mentioning that the problems might end if he dies has every possibility to cause a dead end here. Morgan can be ruthless. What I have read catching up on this quest suggests Shinji is a thinker. He'd try and diagnose what he can to give her a proper answer, as well as look for a solution with pieces that Morgan has collected, but is too blinded by despair to put together herself. Morgan mentions others accepted the deal. Additionally, she was the only one to figure things out. Being able to compare this world and lb6 would not only give us an idea of how to solve this chapter, but will also help in the future. Especially if we visit these other chapters after this world, created by those who accepted the deal Manaka offered. Currently, he has no way to know just how different this world and lb6 are, as he is not familiar with the characters or events of lb6. Maybe Manaka just read all of FGO and placed people in a scenario that best suited them? Divergences then sprouted from there, but it gices him a good starting point towards solving issues both immediately and in the future. We won't know until we ask and there is no harm in doing so.>>4969803If you're not samefagging here, it's very coincidental considering the timing. It's cringe and you're quite the control freak if I'm right. >>4969876I am a phoneposter pls no bulli. You're right in that there has to be a reason for her to try and cause mass despair. Otherwise what's the point? Maybe the lingering truth in some allies means she can't delete them herself and she has to kill them with stage hazards? Have we met anyone of the original cast in new camelot who doesn't have a concept besides Morgan who didn't have a concept yet? Morgan's description of her making this world inside her book supports the idea that her dominion over these chapters is because she made them from scratch. But no ideas are original. So if she gained the truth and became aware of the world being a story it makes sense she plagiarized ideas fron existing works like lostbelts, singularities and fate/labyrinth. Makes him learning about lb6 from Morgan all the more important really, so he can actually prove or disprove the theory and actually figure out how to overturn the situation at hand. Otherwise we gave to go through this chapter blind to threats like for example Vortigern, and the Calamities. We would have dead ended in a friendly spar against Barghest if we targeted her horns for example. The pure eye told us absolutely nothing about this with a full scan. It's nowhere at all on her character sheet in the pastebin! We really need a qrd on potential threats to come in the setting as even though Morgan figured it out and is giving him info, this is the largest story chapter Shinji knows nothing about. He'd have similar problems if the next world was based around or at least included characters from lb5.5. Except that hypothetical chapter wouldn't have anyone around to give us info like Morgan can because no one Japanese that we know is as smart as her. That would mean two chapters with no metaknowledge and no ability to connect the dots towards understanding how Manaka has constructed this setting, and how he can regain control over truth.

Her existence is secured, and now she has become a truly immortal observer of humanity, capable of surviving any wound and regenerating her body fully on a conceptual level, even should she be utterly killed, annihilated, erased, absorbed or rewritten, she will revert back to her original state in a short amount of time. So long as there is humanity to observe, assist and strengthen, Vritra will not allow herself to disappear. This skill also provides Vritra with as much magical energy as she might desire, taken directly from the Counter Force itself.>Fated Supporter of Humanity: EX>A skill that represents Vritra's nature as an obstacle for humanity to overcome, though at the same time, her nature as one that wishes to see humanity overcome all obstacles, where before thanks to her nature as an Asura, this was merely done to amuse herself, now she is capable of feeling genuine emotions towards those humans that struggle. Instead of being an existence firmly opposed to the gods, now Vritra is an existence firmly in support of humanity. This skill provides Vritra with an Anti-Threat to Humanity and an Anti-Beast trait, and the ability to negate the unique Nega skills of Beasts, should they be used to target humans or herself. Though despite the new nature of her existence as one who truly enjoys helping humanity, she does sometimes derive a little too much pleasure out of watching their struggles still.Well, she has skills to do so. >>4969496>"It's a dream built on reality. I am the Sovereign Ruler of all Fairies and Fairytales, doomed to fade into fables along with the entire world I was given.">>4969631>I know loosely of Beryl Gut and a wielder of Rhongomyniad capable of attacking between worlds, but no further. Hello thread. It seems you fellas already came to a consensus and the voots have already been tallied, so it's a bit late for this next update. But depending on the outcome here and what the next choice/dialogue options are, I have an idea from a combination of these two things that might add to the conversation with Morgan here, and give her a bit of HOPE.I have an idea to enable us to save at least -some- of the inhabitants of this world. We've seen from the last few updates in Neo-Camelot that concepts still work and weren't toggled off. We may not be able to apply them anymore, but those with them are still able to use them. However, there were some minor limitations to their potency as we observed with Artoria. BUT, this may because of her not being "king" in this world anymore. No one else seemed to have issues with their concepts yet, Shirou seemed fine but correct me if I'm wrong. It has been a few days. We'll see anyway. If the idea works, you'll probably want to start picking your favourites of those we encounter in this fairyland story. Because I really doubt it'll work for more than just a few people, especially considering the uhh.. weight? or capacity of a Servant tier being's Spirit Origin like a Fairy Knight compared to say.. a normal human. From what Morgan said, it seems natives to this world are probably extra fucked, so they might be a higher priority. Those who already had some Truth applied via old concepts might be a bit more safe, however. We can make the decision after learning more about the world and getting closer to whatever conclusion it'll have as "the page turns". Saverchads will return. It won't be everyone, but it'll be more than Manaka would have accounted for, and will slap her in the face pretty hard.

"Morgan. If Manaka could kill me with nothing but a thought, then I imagine she would've already rid herself of me. I'm under no illusion that the girl would hesitate to erase me if she had both the means and inclination to do it. She still needs me. Killing me would make her plan an impossibility." Morgan remained silent, so you continued to speak. "These worlds are meant to break me, for all my life in this world, I have strived to make things better for those I come across. Manaka wants to break my spirit by forcing me to watch as all of my efforts amount to nothing. As my attempts to save people crumble to dust and fade into the winds... but... no matter what happens. No matter what Manaka does or tries to do? I won't give up. That I can promise you... no, that I swear to you, on my name as Shinji Makiri... no, on Truth itself. I swear that I shall not give up. I won't allow all of this to have been for nothing." You said, fire burning in your eyes now. Manaka may have managed to render you powerless compared to usual, but you would never give up."Your spirit is admirable, Shinji." Morgan spoke again from the shadows. "But spirit alone will not lead you to victory, and it will not avenge the falsehoods that have been given illusionary lives that the girl has formed. This world... it's a dream given form onto reality. A dream that is no longer my own, no less." Morgan's voice echoed around you, as if she wasn't staying in one place. "So, you're Mordred's ever talented advisor, the man who the king would always turn to for advice if he should require it, I suggest you had start to put the mind that got you the role as my daughter's advisor to good use." Morgan's voice held a tone of a threat to it. It was understandable, Morgan was taking a huge risk even speaking near you, and her fate could easily become the same as what was supposed to happen to Rhongomyniad at Manaka's hands."Fine... a plan... I can think of two ways for Manaka to be stopped, and for the nightmares of her creation to finally end with her." You looked at the floor for a moment as you summoned up the near suicidal courage to say your next few words. "The first way to defeat Manaka would be... to kill me right now. To have me die and to have the end of my life take Truth with it." It was a last resort, but... if there was no other way, you would make that sacrifice. "Take Truth with it?" Morgan echoed your last words as the chains around you bound you just a little more, tightening as she considered the words. If you were to die, no, if you were to not just die, but have your presence erased from the world, then everything you had done would be considered nothing but a falsehood. A Fiction upon Truth. That which you had done would be reduced to nothingness and consigned to oblivion. Including the very existence of Truth, your power which has become intrinsic to Manaka's power. Your death would sunder it from existence, and this nightmare would end.
"But... I don't want to die, Morgan. I want to live. You're... You're right. I'm not of this world, but... I've found myself as a part of it. I've found myself wanting to live in this world, and... I want to make the people who I care about happy too. From my perspective, this world... it was a false one, once. But... can I really still believe that to be the case now? After living here for so long? After all the joy and love that has happened as a result of me? Can I really believe all that to be nothing but a story? No. It may be selfish, but I won't go against my own wish. Me dying here might stop Manaka, but... the misery brought about through my death would mean that everything I did was for nothing. That all I had worked for was to die and cause sorrow to those who I love and trust. I won't allow that!" You shouted, and Morgan finally stepped out of the shadows, looking at you with a sad expression. It seems that you had managed to reach her with your words, but you weren't done there. "Death... my death is not the only way I can think of that will allow us to defeat Manaka. There is another way... if we could either take control of the worlds she has created in this universe of hers, or just escape them to confront her, we would have a chance. The worlds might be falsehoods, but..." You look Morgan in the eyes. "What happens when a page in a book is turned, Morgan? The characters aren't destroyed, are they? You know how these worlds work better than I do, of course, you have had however much time you have been here to analyze them." you then felt the chains loosen a bit. "If you thought that things were truly hopeless, then you would've killed me already. You have a plan, don't you? Please, together, we might be able to stop this madness!" You pleaded with Morgan, and the woman seemed to finally give in. The chains binding you clattered to the floor, and she slumped against a wall.
"I am taking a huge risk in going through with all this, but... you saw the fae-forged weaponry in the armory, did you not?" She asked you a question that she was already aware of the answer to, and then continued talking. "I shamelessly enslaved thousands of fairies to create those weapons, a cruel necessity, but not one they don't deserve." She crossed her arms as she spoke about the fairies, it seemed like she had managed to develop something of a dislike for her fellow fae. Odd. You wonder what the catalyst for that was. "I've been using the powers that girl granted me to create something that can oppose that which she has put in place to destroy me and this world. The core of this world lies in the Nameless Forest." Wait a minute... Nameless Forest? That name sounds familiar... "Fairies alone... they cannot defeat what she has created, an unstoppable spirit of the planet lies within that forest that upon awakening, will flood this world with endless calamities. That is why I have created the armory of Camelot. But... even with an army of soldiers armed with power equal to Excalibur each, they would not prevail against that which lies inside that forest." Morgan sighed. "I imagine that the three of you headed straight to the castle upon finding yourselves in this place, so you aren't aware of the rest of the... factions, that have formed in my world, as well as the rogue agents that roam without any real reason. I believe that we'll need their power if we are to slay the beast of the forest and seize what it protects. The core of this world." Morgan stopped and thought for a moment. "I will assist you in your efforts to restore reality only if you seek out the White Queen of the Fairies who resides in the north and convince her to assist you as well. Her power and the strength of her followers is required if we are to overcome the Terror that resides in the forest." Morgan said with a grave tone. "Accept this condition, and I will grant you leave from this castle. Refuse, and I will have no choice but to imprison you." Finally, she made her ultimatum. You had only partially managed to convince her in the end.>Accept>Refuse>Write-in..

>>4971191>I Accept, Morgan. I do have two conditions, please hear me out.>Firstly, you mentioned that everything in this world may fade when the story ends. I know of many other stories in this universe that I believe we can draw from. In one of them, the sprit of my spear, Rhongomyniad tried to save the remnants of humanity in an arc when all of human history were to be incinerated. In another, Rhongomyniad was able to pierce and strike across dimensions between divergent timelines in history, anchored by extra-terrestrial entities onto the texture of the planet. From this we can infer that Rhongomyniad can become an ark or a "lifeboat" if you will, if this world is to perish regardless of our efforts. Furthermore, being a lynchpin for the textures of the world she should also be able to cross dimensions unharmed. Enabling us to potentially cross into other chapters in this story, and survive to the end of Manaka's tale with as many lives saved as possible. Eventually allowing us to escape this world with the souls of those within Rhongomyniad's ark. Then, if we are able to find and save the Sumerian goddess Ereshgikal, Illyasviel with the powers I recently granted to her, my teacher Touko, or through your own mastery of soul magic we may be able to restore these souls to their original form in time. We might not be able to save everyone, we can certainly save more than was ever intended. Rhongomyniad is a native to Britain as far as I am aware. Does a version exist here? And with your expertise in soul transfer magic as you demonstrated with the twin Sumerian goddesses, would you be able to devise a mechanism to save the Sprit Origins of as many inhabitants of this world as possible within my own version of Rhongomyniad, one that has been overlaid with a conceptual enhancement and bonded to me Endlessly, as I am a being that which is "Truth given form"? If Manaka needs me alive, and all these souls are bonded to me, they should be shielded from destruction. Furthermore, would it be possible for your fairy smiths to forge additional arks based on Rhongomyniad if the carrying capacity is not enough, and enhance them with some of my own being to give them some manner of protection?>Second, you'll need to tell me everything you know about the Terror in the Forest, that White Queen, the other factions and the rogue agents you mentioned so I can get to work dealing with the looming threats within this world. Anything else you consider relevant too. I won't be able to succeed otherwise."My spear wife is the strongest! Rhon a best and will save the world! Doomkeks need not apply, have Endless HOPE and Faith in the Grand Saver plan.
Furthermore, if we need power for this to work, we have the Seed from Gaia, something which contained the power of a whole world. We could grow a world to act as an ark, within Rhon/Shinji to save the souls of everyone who would otherwise get deleted. Secondly, we have the direct blessings of Alaya which not only protects against mental pollution if we ended up with a few extra head mates for a period of time. Also, maybe being able to draw upon some of the knowledge of any of the people contained within might be kino, in a similar fashion to how Taiga!Alaya draws upon things from mankind.Gaia Seed + Will of Alaya to create a new world to counter Manaka's new world. Also, Shinji's core lets him channel energy just below anti country, perfectly, so he should be able to handle the collective energy of enough beings just below an entire country without any loss in transfer or damage to himself to enable the connection.

>>4971191Supporting >>4971491 as it is really great plan to outplay Manaka.>>4971495And good on you for remembering the seed.>...a seed that brings hope. Something that contains the hopes and dreams of an entire world, condensed into a tiny palm sized object. A seed for something truly great, something that would be beyond anything else. You grab the object, and feel some of your own energy flowing from you and into the seed, which seems to swell with power before it becomes a solid existence. You look at the seed with interest, it's warm to the touch, and you can tell that it contains a truly terrifying amount of power. Enough to easily wipe away the surface of the entire planet, if it were to be extracted and utilized as a weapon... but, that's not why you've been given this seed, you think. This seed is something that you need to plant and allow to flourish. You can't tell what the final form of this seed will be, but... you can tell that planting this seed and allow it to grow definitely won't be a mistake.Hopes and dreams talk definitely fits the situation and that we have been told so far.

It is also name of city Arkhangelsk. So his name means Плoв Apхaнгeльcкий meaning Pilaf from Arkhangelsk or Apхaнгeл Плoвa meaning Archangel of Pilaf.
>>4972160Perhaps.>Satsuki's entire shtick is stolen by some random church bitch who goes to fight a Dead Apostle Ancestor by herself for no reason because Ciel is around and gets turned and is then later injected with loli juice by Shiki's Doctor which turns her into a loli, Shiki's doctor is a Dead Apostle Ancestor who knew Makihisa called DOCTOR RACHNE or something because she has a spider theme IDK and then Loli Lizpire dies before doing anything of relevance.Nasu has now become so unoriginal that he is literally stealing and reusing character ideas in the exact same story that the characters came from.I hate this.I hate this so much.

>Arceuid goes mad and tries to destroy the entire planet simply because Shiki won't dick her.lmao.
Shiki can kill the Texture and Types too, I guess.Jesus Christ.

>>4972286>The girl with the brown hair, twin tails and her tits hanging out is the Tohno family doctor and a friend of Akiha's dad from collegeThis girl? Isn't she also implied to be altrouge brunestud
Damn, we knew TsukiR would be terrible, but not this kind of terrible.
>>4972269Not that she can, this game doesn’t have any h-scenes (and I highly doubt they are implied)
>>4972319I don't even think Ciel gets a kiss.
>>4972303Be glad Nasu is nearing his 50s so we have an excuse to call him senile (or damn close to it at least)
Maybe Manaka is right and we are the baddies preventing her from ascending to higher plane of existence and killing Nasu. She saw TsukiR after getting Truth and just can`t communicate with us just how mad she is because bad social skills. Kiara spoiler probably broke her completely.
>>4972321she didn't lmao, ending is kinda similar with Ciel crying over Shiki thoughI actually kinda like TsukiR, Roa ends up living rent free in Shiki's head again but after Shiki rejects Arc and her offer to handle Roa by turning Shiki into her familiar/fucktoy, she goes mad and starts rewriting everything, Roa and Shiki team up to defeat herAlso for anyone that cares, Nrvnqsr doesn't show up but its heavily implied he's running around. Volv Archnangle keeps killing what appears to be Nrvnqsr's familiars and his familiars keep showing up around town, its like they had some sorta off screen battle. Its starting to feel like Nrvnqsr is gonna show up in Far Side
>>4972337I am curious to see just how Far Side will be twisted. Plank was just set pretty "high" right now.It will be terrific show before Fate/Stay Night Remake happens.
>>4972342Honestly if Nasu wants to up the action in Far Side then Kouma is gonna be a main antagonist for at least one route
>>4972337Yeah I know, I've been keeping up.It's shit and I hate it.
>>4972344>implying far side is ever going to come outNasu only remade nearside so he could retcon a fuckload of lore and add pointless shit that didn't matter in the end. What would far side let Nasu ruin?Oni lore? That's already everywhere in FGO.Also, the existence of Noel practically confirms no Satsuki relevance ever. And DR SPIDER VAMPIRE drugging Shiki (apparently) practically confirms that Shiki won't get drugged by Kohaku because it was already done. Also, why did Shiki's Nanaya senses kick off when he met Arc and not the fucking Dead Apostle Ancestor Family Doctor?Shitty retcon bullshit.
>>4972348>Also, why did Shiki's Nanaya senses kick off when he met Arc and not the fucking Dead Apostle Ancestor Family Doctor?I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THIS WHEN THE REVEAL HAPPENED, I'm gonna be lenient though as none of us have actually read TsukiR and won't read it for years so maybe it was explained and we just don't know it
>>4972351I'm not going to be lenient. It was Nasu wanting KOOL TWIST for no reason with no explanation just for the sake of changing shit.Fuck Nasu and his retcon bullshit.
No Aoko or Satsuki in new Melty either.
There are an absurd amount of DAA running around in one town, like wtf, why tf did the Burial Agency only send Ciel. Speaking of Burial Agency, Kiara is a member.
Also, Shiki is pretty much shirou in some scenes.
>>4972359We call it "Shitty retcon remake writing" For more information, play FF7Remake.
>>4972361Takeuchi can only draw Shirou and Saber
>>4972359Considering how much buffed the DAA was they would have to send all the church.
>>4972344Would make sense with marketing for him in new Melty. And I guess loli-juice-Liz will be soon revealed for Melty too as DLC? She even took Satsuki`s game. Brutal.
>>4972366oh she's in the game>She even took Satsuki`s game. Its so fucking funny how Noel is just a shittier version of Satsuki
honestly, what was the point of the remake? Why not just make the Tsukihime sequel that Nasu was interested in writing?
>>4972372Had to add more superfluous bullshit that didn't mean anything in the end. Also Saber is apparently in Type Lumina.>>4972369It's even worse when you remember that Melty as a game is meant to be set after Satsuki's unknown route. It's like the ultimate fuck you.Fuck you, Nasu.
I hope none of you guys are delusional enough to think that Satsuki's route still has a chance of happening now.
>>4972375I don't get why nasu created this new character, just put satsuki in her place, holy fuck.
He added more lore to DAA too so it isn't just "strong fantastical monster that drinks blood", they have more requirements to it so Type Mercury and Primate Murder likely aren't considered DAA anymore
>>4972380>Isn't it sad SacchinHaha, funny meta-jokeremember when I said that the remake would include her route?hahahere's some random church bitch that gets bitten and then turns into a loliand then dies after doing some GoB/UBW/Suzuka bladespam shit.Very cool and original powers. I expected nothing and my spirit is still crushed.
>>4972385He just turned them into scuffed demon gods. Also stop using the term "added"that implies that it doesn't clash with and replace existing lore. The word is "changed"
I feel you pain.>>4972385I liked how it was before, becoming a DAA by just nuking one and being a blood drinking entity was funny.
>>4972389Tsukihime Canon and Tsukihime Legends.Makes you wonder that Nasu has in store for Fate/EXTRA Record.
I'm starting to convince myself that i hate TsukiR now, i liked DAA like they were before, it made them cool and its so fucking stupid that he made Noel just to replace Satsuki
>>4972385You'd think that wouldn't you?>>4972395Somehow, despite the change, ORT is still listed as a DAAAlso yeah, Noel's stuff exists entirely as a way to introduce new characters that don't matter.Hell, they could've just given her role to Satsuki entirely and let her be the one with a climactic battle.
>>4972398>Merm SolomonHoly kek
>>4972398Did Nasu just fucking nerf ORT?
>>4972402Well considering that Shiki straight up kills Texture and Types now?Yeah.ORT ain't shit.
>>4972402>>4972403Now imagine.FGO TsukiR event. ORT is event boss and Chaldea need te recruit Shiki to defeat ORT.

The one change I will say that I like is Nasu actually giving a reason for Tsukihime and Fate to be separate, I always thought that was the stupidest fucking retcon in the story and Nasu only added it cause he didn't want to keep track of things, it never felt like DAA were the dominating the Tsukihime world.
>>4972422I mean, he did it because he was lazy to keep track and took a decade to make a reason in-universe.

"I accept, Morgan. I do have two conditions, please hear me out." You had no issue with helping Morgan out if she was going to help you, but you did have a few things you wanted to say first, and hopefully the woman would appreciate what you actually had to say. You'd never really had somebody you could discuss things as you truly saw them before, and if Morgan was aware of the status of her reality, then that meant that you'd finally be able to speak to somebody in your full capacity as somebody from another world."Very well, tell me what these these conditions of yours are. Though do not take too long in doing so, that girl may be to distracted in forging new realities to pay attention right now, but she has created agents to act as her eyes and ears in this world, and in all other worlds, as logic would dictate. I do not know just who these agents are, nor what they are capable of, but she has shown herself to be too cunning not to have a countermeasure like that in place. Here, let's go somewhere else." You were about to say something else before you noticed that your bracelet was missing, and a shimmering surface appeared under your feet as the entire hallway was turned into a portal. You barely managed to utter a noise of surprise before you had fallen through it and landed in a study that had been piled high with books, a fireplace roared behind you and you looked up to see Morgan sitting at the desk. "Take a seat, this place is one of the few I am certain that even that girl's agents cannot find." You got up from the floor and sat on the offered seat, facing the sitting Morgan, who stared at you intently, waiting for you to continue speaking. "Right, well... firstly, you mentioned that everything in this world may fade when the story ends. I know of many other stories in this universe that I believe we can draw from." The world being at threat of total annihilation wasn't exactly something uncommon in those stories, in fact, from your recollection, before you had come here, it had been destroyed utterly twice! Or at least humanity had been, . "In one of those stories, the spirit of my spear, Rhongomyniad, tried to save the remnants of humanity in an arc where all of human history had been incinerated." Suddenly and quite unexpectedly, a third voice appeared in the conversation. 'That's news to me, Shinji. Why don't you explain things a little more?' She sounded stern as she spoke, an annoyed tone in her voice. You gulped audibly you'd kind of forgotten that Rhongomyniad was still able to hear you. She'd been so quiet as of late, you had forgotten she was always listening.
"W-well. It was unnecessary in the end, you ended up joining the heroes of the tale after you were convinced to stop an go through with their plan." Though they didn't actually have much of a plan at that point, but you didn't really want to go through the entirety of the Camelot Singularity with Morgan or Rhongomyniad right now. Morgan raised an eyebrow at your sudden pause and topic change, and you just shrugged. "Sorry about that, I was talking to my spear." Morgan raised her eyebrow, but allowed you to continue. "Anyway, in another of these worlds, she was able to pierce and strike across dimensions between divergent timelines in history, anchored by extra-terrestrial-" Morgan suddenly held a hand out."Yes, I'm aware of this story and of the limits of the Holy Spear. That was the world Manaka showed me in an attempt to crush my own spirit. Where are you going with this?" She crossed her arms, clearly unamused by your assumption that she didn't know something she had already told you she was aware of."Well, I was thinking that from this, we can infer that Rhongomyniad can become... something like an ark... or perhaps a 'lifeboat' if you'd prefer. If this world is to perish regardless of our efforts, then Rhongomyniad may be able to preserve it!" You spoke, happy with the solution to nonexistence you had come up with, but...'A good plan... if you wanted me to freeze those whom you saved into a single moment of time to act as a inextinguishable record of that which they once were.' Rhongomyniads voice echoed through your mind, and you frowned. 'Was this what that version of me in another world had planned for? The salvation of humanity through an indelible record that they once existed? How sad.' She sounded disappointed in herself now, and you grit your teeth, you hadn't finished yet! Meanwhile, Morgan was shaking her head."Perhaps that logic may have worked on those who inhabited those worlds in which you speak, but... this is not something that even the power of the holy spear will be able to prevent. It is not simply being erased from existence through having your existence undone through temporal obliteration, like the Spear of the End you speak of would be able to prevent, but... the erasure of everything about you, the reestablishment of 'that which is real' to 'that which is not real'" Morgan frowned. "Do you think I had not gone down this route of thinking myself, Shinji? That I had not thought of using the Rhongomyniad of this world to my own advantage?" She didn't look amused by your suggestion, but you hadn't finished yet. "Well, being a lynchpin for the texture of this world, Rhongomyniad should also be able to cross dimensions unharmed! If this is the case, then crossing into other chapters of the story should be possible, right? Right?" Morgan said nothing as she looked at you with sad appraising eyes.
"Shinji. This... world, it is not simply another timeline or dimension brought about through the changing of history... this is a brand new world created entirely from scratch by the power of that girl. Based upon reality but having no links to it outside of the whims of that girl and my own connection to Pan Human History. The Holy Spear would not allow you to leave this world, for there is no world that exists outside of this one." W-what?! "The chapters are not things that can be defeated through such means. A character in a book, no matter how powerful or how strong they are written to be... they will never be able to turn the page by themselves." She said in a grave tone. "Then you're saying that... only I can do anything?!" To think that Manaka would utilize truth in such a deadly fashion, that it would completely nullify the powers of any other existences in all of creation. The power of an author, that was what Manaka had stumbled upon, and you were finally starting to realize just how monumental the task before you was. "Then... you're saying that even if I were to save as many people as I possibly could within Rhongomyniad, that... they would all cease to be? Even if I were to have a means to ensure all those saved souls were restored... it wouldn't mean anything?" Despair had started to grip at you now. Even the power you had granted Ereshkigal wouldn't be enough to save this world? Nor the powers of Illyasviel or Touko or even Morgan herself? This... this was unfair! You had come to terms with not being able to save everyone in these world already, but... to be unable to save anybody?! What sort of twisted narrative was Manaka spinning?! Even with the Rhongomyniad that is native to Britain, you wouldn't be able to save a single one of these poor souls that was caught up in this abominable plot of Manaka's?! No... No there was still a way. "What if... what if all of those souls were instead bonded to me? She wouldn't be able to erase them all like that, would she?"
Morgan remained quiet for a while, thinking carefully on her next words before finally speaking once more. . "No, I believe that if their full souls were linked directly to your own, they would be... quite safe. Unfortunately, how many souls do you think that your body is able to handle? Even for one such as yourself, you would quickly start to lose sight of who you really were if you took even ten souls into your body. Yet the way you speak, it sounds as if you intend to save thousands." Morgan was clearly pained by her words, being forced to crush the spirits of another. In truth, she had likely already attempted to think of ways that would allow others to survive the eradication of this world she was once again force to watch eventually fall apart. >"I see... then... I am sorry. I accept your own conditions, Morgan.">"Then... what if Rhongomyniad possessed me?">"I still hold a link to Truth... could that not be used to allow something to be done?">"Then... is there truly no way to save a single soul from this nightmare?">Write-in...
>>4972658Then... what if Rhongomyniad possessed me?">"I still hold a link to Truth... could that not be used to allow something to be done?"

>>4972658>If you believe that being fully linked to my own soul would render them protection, then that's still as many as 10 souls more than Manaka ever expected to survive this mess. However, if I really am the only one that can contest her, I won't overload my being trying to shelter more than I can manage. I trust your judgement here, Morgan.>By what manner did Manaka empower you to give you such control over this world, Morgan? Was it similar to my conceptual application? Does she still hold a direct link to your being like she held over those under her control back in Fuyuki? >If your Authority in this world is second only to hers, then us together, with my Truth, might still manage something in time. >Is there a way that we can remain linked or able to communicate while I go attend to the threats that you mentioned earlier, in such a way that would not arouse her suspicion? >So that we can access the core of this world, can you to tell me everything you can about the Terror in the Forest, that White Queen, the other factions and the rogue agents you mentioned so I can get to work dealing with the looming threats within this world. Anything else you consider relevant too. I won't be able to succeed otherwise. We will survive this Morgan. Your efforts will not have been in vain. Spiting Manaka by saving even one extra person proves she isn't absolute.

Why would Manaka leave such a glaring weakness like this? Was it deliberate, or did she have no choice?">Is there a way that we can remain linked or able to communicate while I go attend to the threats that you mentioned earlier, in such a way that would not arouse her suspicion? >And last, can you to tell me everything you can about the Terror in the Forest, that White Queen, the other factions and the rogue agents you mentioned?. Anything else you consider relevant too. I won't be able to succeed otherwise."Nigger, please. Morgan has thought about this, and she already said no to your autism. Why would you insist on turning Shinji into a schizo and cram his head full of headmates? When did Shinji turn into canon Shirou, a Hero of Justice willing to pay ANY price to save just one single person? And what happens in the next world, or the world after? Do we save the named characters in the same way? What happens if Manaka has created 20 dreamworlds like this? Shinji will have gone full schizo, his sanity taxed to the limit, and he'll STILL have to watch entire worlds crumble, unable to save a single one of their inhabitants. What's the point? Manaka won't even be fazed by this. She'll just laugh in the face of schizo Shinji. She doesn't care, it's all fiction anyway.
>>4973000She literally said that it would work, however it would have to be <10 before issues occurred. Why would you just reject the possibility? Would you say the same if Sakura was in front of us and this was the alternative to erasure? Say we go to another world after this and the tank is already full, then that's a decision to be made then and not now. This isn't even specifically choosing people yet, it's just pursuing the only thing Morgan said would actually work. Peak doomkek post. I also noticed you ignored the earlier HOPE-Arc vote. Someone's falling into despair.
>>4973018This plan of yours inevitably results in Shinji going full schizo AND watching entire worlds crumble, unable to save a single person. Why is it worth the cost? We can't keep ignoring the long-term consequences, or Manaka will end up having the last laugh. As for your earlier write-in, Morgan and Rhon both explained exactly why it wouldn't work. Is there a point in talking about it?
>>4973042Does it though? You're jumping to pessimistic conclusions. Morgan told him the limit. Being aware of the limit, being at capacity and THEN choosing to ignore the risks when the time comes to it is a problem just like choosing any other dead end. Thing is, there are as many as 9 other choices before that point where 9 other people could be saved. What's the point in playing a story if you have nothing to work for and you're just watching a doomed cutscene play out with no chance to actually step in and change anything? Again, would you have rejected the chance at this if Sakura was the one in front of us?Some of the ideas being feasible due to the sheer scale of Manaka's power doesn't change the fact that you didn't even want to consider the possibility of it working. And, until being told the ark wouldn't work, there was no real reason to believe it wouldn't. Part of it did work too, with the soul bonding idea. It's extreme, but it's also better than being a hopeless doomkek. Also in trying, we now know more about Manaka's worlds which we might be able to use in future.
>>4972658>>4972930Supporting. What the fuck is Nasu smoking to write a remake of Tsukihime that butchers the original story so hard it makes FF7R look good? I can only enjoy Typemoon through fan works now. I hate it.
Other than Barghest, Baobhan Sith, Melusine and Habetrot, who else would we even save? Fae Agravain?Unless something unexpected happens, we should be able to handle 5 people.Oberon/Vortigern shouldn't be a thing here right?
>>4973057Pessimistic conclusions? It's the inevitable conclusion nigger. We are in the first world of Manaka's creation, and you already want to turn Shinji into a full schizo. You didn't answer my question. What happens in the next world, or the one after?Once upon a time, we did what we could to make Shirou less self-sacrificing in his Hero of Justice schtick. When did Shinji change his mind on this and come to accept ANY cost in order to save someone? When did he decide to become a Hero of Justice in Shirou's place? Should Shirou have a talk with us now?And a doomed cutscene? Is that how you see the quest? Either we agree with you and jump off the plot at every given opportunity, or we're just watching a doomed cutscene? Everyone who doesn't accept a schizo Shinji full of headmates is just a hopeless doomkek?>until being told the ark wouldn't work, there was no real reason to believe it wouldn'tAre you being deliberately obtuse? Morgan and Rhon explained the reasons it wouldn't work. The fact that you didn't see them doesn't mean that the reasons didn't exist and were invented out of whole cloth.
>>4973064They have to survive to the end of this story too, considering the Excalibur tier armoury Morgan has and she's still on the fence about being able to defeat the issues in this world, not everyone may even make it. We've got a few problems to deal with in this world and we haven't even met half the Fairy Knights personally yet. We don't know if Oberon is around, as Morgan has full metaknowledge of LB6 and from what she told us, Manaka built this world from scratch so there could be plenty of newer/changed things. Fairy Knight Agravain, Ddraig etc. are all just completely new, and there is a whole round table of roles to play and a massive menagerie of fairies Morgan could draw from and make into Fairy Knights. Morgan should let us know more about the world in the next update though. She's like giga-fsn Rin in terms of info dumping at the moment. I mean, if we had some idea of just how many chapters we had to deal with we'd be able to choose better as well.>>4971191>"I shamelessly enslaved thousands of fairies to create those weapons, a cruel necessity, but not one they don't deserve."Also, I forgot to mention it before but very based of Morgan to create Fairy Gulags though to mass produce those weapons we saw in the armoury. Reminder that LB6 only happened because the FAENIGGERS there were so lazy they just didn't feel like making Excalibur, so Sefar purged the planet. Then, when Cerny remade Britain for them they abused him. FUCK.
>>4973083You still haven't answered the Sakura question that you've been asked twice now, so clearly you're avoiding it. We'll try a third time. If you had a choice between letting Sakura be erased from existence forever, or being rent free in Shinji's head for a time, what would you choose? What would Shinji choose? Considering he literally did just this for Rhon. There are a myriad of ways to separate souls in canon too. We even made a handful more which I mentioned in earlier posts, plus others like Shirou/Archer projecting Erosion, Gilgamesh's GoB etc.
>>4973096Looks like we're both avoiding answering questions here. What happens in the next world? What happens twenty worlds down the line? Why is this worth going full schizo? When did Shinji turn into a Shirou-style self-sacrificing Hero of Justice, willing to accept any cost to save a single person? And Rhon? Rhon has been awfully silent in general, and she's still a spear. We can just put her down whenever we want. What you want to do is not the same at all. We have no guarantee it'll be reversible either. You want to bond these souls with Truth to give them space into Shinji's head. Why do you assume they can be separated that easily?

The real question is if I should just write and post the Satsuki Quest alongside this one.I've got the motivation for it.Hmmm.
>>4973585We'll have to examine what's different between us and Manaka. I can think of two possibilities, and it can easily be a combination of both:A) Her connection to the Root. She was omnipotent even before we botched Rhon's ambush and allowed Manaka to get her hands on our blood. Truth only made her even more so.B) Her mentality. She was insane even before she learned that everything she knew was fictional. Her insanity was what allowed her to not go completely catatonic when she learned the Truth. From what we've seen from her last interlude, she's now completely detached from everything. She doesn't even care about Arthur, and that used to be her core motivation. Everything is fiction to her now, and so nothing matters and everything can be shaped according to her will. Shinji knows it's all fiction, and this is what gave him his Reality Marble, but he doesn't treat the people around him as fictional. He has friends, lovers, daughters. He has embraced the fiction, literally in some cases. And that might the lesson Manaka is trying to teach Shinji with her dreamworlds. That nothing matters and he should detach himself as she has.>>4973817I don't see why not, if you feel motivated.
>>4973817Sounds kino and whether now or later hope you go for it, just don't go burning yourself out.
>>4973817Sure, the MC would be shiki i suppose?
>>4973846I feel like a way to save everyone lies on us unlocking our full RM.
>>4973918That was certainly the case before we fucked up and allowed Manaka to get her hands on our blood and our Truth. Now? I'm not sure at all that there's a way to save everyone. Our RM is our most potent weapon, but Manaka's Truth is stronger and her mentality is even more warped. Who's to say that she doesn't have a Reality Marble of her own now, one even more powerful? And don't forget, we can't access Truth at all right now. I don't expect our RM to be the winning move it once was. I expect it to allow us to stalemate her, but nothing more.

>>4973817We play as satsuki or we marry Satsuki?
>>4973987Play as Shiki, but...I'm planning something a little more... special, actually.I could do just a generic Satsuki route, but at the end of the day, I wouldn't want to just rehash Tsukihime that hard and have the final villains be Roa and Nrvnqsr working together, at least not for a quest.A more general Satsuki route would be something that would be better written as a fanfic, which I might do at one point in the future.

"If you believe that being fully linked to my own soul would render the souls of this world protection, then that's still as many as ten souls more than Manaka ever expected to survive this mess." You knew that Manaka was trying to break you, so taking even a small victory by saving more people than that girl wants you to be able to save was something that would be guaranteed to go against the girls wishes. Unexpectedly though, Morgan was shaking her head once again."You still don't get it, do you?" Morgan appeared sad once more. "You gain nothing from trying to aid the people of this world in retaining their happiness, Shinji. You could link them to your soul, that is true, but why would you do such a thing for people who you barely know? As unfortunate as it is, those who existed before these worlds... will continue to exist when these worlds fall. While those who were created as a result of the existence of these worlds will vanish. Do you really believe it worth the risk of losing your individuality just to save ten people who never truly existed in the first place?" The Ruler of Britain asked you, and you stared her in the eyes."If I am the only one who can contest Manaka as you believe, Morgan, then... even if it is a small rebellion like saving those that she intended to have erased to break my spirit... if I... if I can just save a few of those who exist in this world..." You didn't really know her all too well at all, but you imagined Barghest's face. A good person at heart, trapped in a truly terrible fate. To cease to exist when her story ends. What sort of monster would you be if you just allowed such a cruel thing to occur without at least trying to save somebody as innocent as her? A fairy that wanted nothing more than to be a knight, and though for some fairies, you were sure that they would simply wish to play as a knight for the novelty of it, you could tell that Barghest was different. She truly respected the role of a knight and tried to uphold the tenants of chivalry despite not being trained properly as a knight. She was more like a squire with the power of a monster, but even so, you couldn't turn your back to somebody like that.
"Then what, Shinji? To tell the truth, neither of us are aware of how many worlds that Manaka has created. You can't save everyone, so you're going to save a select few people? Are you going to save those that you consider the most worthy of being saved? The ones that you believe to be the most use to you? A random selection?" Morgan sounded genuinely depressed as she kept talking. "All at the cost of your very being, too. I mentioned that you should be able to handle ten, but... that was when it would begin to overwhelm you. Incorporating the souls of other people into yourself would have you begin to remember things that happened to them... and finally... I was talking about saving ten basic human souls... you are thinking of saving the Fairytale Knights, aren't you? Each of them have souls at least on par with Servants. Do you really think you can act as a vessel for the complete souls of such beings?" Morgan really did not sound happy. "No... not as you are now. At the peak of your power, you may have been able to accomplish something, but... with Truth continuing to weaken, doing something like that would be self-destructive, and I've had enough of watching people sacrificing themselves for things that they don't have a personal stake in." Morgan was almost scolding you now. "But... even if I didn't overload my being by trying to shelter more than I could manage?" You... you wanted to at least be able to save somebody, damn it!"If you wish to save the people of this world, then the key likely resides at the core of the world. Just... as you are now, it would be too dangerous to try to save the souls of those who exist here using your body as a vessel. Right now, even though you have inherited the power of a Dragon from the blood that clings to you, you are still a human in origin. Do you really think that such a body would be able to handle taking the soul of a fairy within it? Or close to a dozen fairies, for that matter?" You looked down at the table, your eyes wide open as reality began to finally crash down upon you. Was there really no way around Manaka's power? Even acting as sly as you possibly could would just result in your own suffering and loss of your self? What did Manaka hope to gain by doing this to you? What could possibly have driven her to be so cruel!? "I... I will trust in that judgment, Morgan. But I... don't know if I'll be able to stop myself from attempting to save anybody. That's just... not the sort of person I am." Manaka knew that. She knew that as a person, you were somebody who wanted to save other people. It was childish, honestly. But... that was your choice. You knew that not everyone could be saved. That was something you already knew, but... to be incapable of saving anybody at all? You refused to accept that as the only outcome. You would find a way to save other people, not matter what.
"I understand, Shinji. You are a caring person. I am very well aware of just what sort of a person you are from how you treated Mordred. You the sort of person who just wants to spread happiness to those that you care about. Fundamentally, you are a good person, but... sometimes, you must simply accept the futility of life. You are not the infallible Arbiter of Truth anymore. You do not get to decide who lives and who dies. That should not be your burden to bear. This world is doomed. You must come to terms with the idea of loss if you are ever to defeat Manaka and restore things to how they should be." Morgan spoke softly, and you looked at her in confusion."What... what do you mean?""If you do not accept that you may not be able to save everything, and go into this with the attitude that everything in front of you can and will be saved, you will be broken." She shook her head. "Manaka is far too powerful now, and though she cannot destroy you for fear of losing her power, as you said, she could easily destroy those that you care for at the most opportune moment. She could undo all of your effort to save everyone in the blink of an eye." Manaka heaved a defeated sigh. "Besides... if you're going to defeat the person who is using Truth, then you'll need to distance yourself from Fiction, won't you?" You frowned, not knowing how to respond to Morgan's words even now, and the woman tapped on her desk. "I am truly sorry that I cannot do more to aid you in this, but... to save that which never existed in the first place is very much a definition of impossibility."A long moment of silence passed between you and Morgan as you looked into her chilling blue eyes, and eventually you spoke once more. Deciding to bury the subject of saving other people for now and to focus on something else that you wanted to know. "Well... with that said... can you tell me what manner Manaka has empowered you? You should not be as powerful as you currently are, Morgan, and I want to know why. Is it similar to my own conceptual applications? Does she hold a direct link to your being like she held over those under her control in Fuyuki?" There was still so much you needed to ask her, and Morgan spoke softly in response to your words once again.
"Yes... it was similar to what you do to others. The difference is that I have been implanted with the power of 'Fairytales'." Fairytales?" That sounds... odd. "Because of this power, I have complete control over all fairies that cross my path. Anything that the world might classify as a Fairy has no choice but to serve under me, no matter their strength. That is how I have become the single most influential person in this particular world... as for if I'm directly under her control, she said that she had simply 'moved beyond' the need for simple geas spells and magical contracts, and that though there is nothing directly binding me, if she noticed what was occurring, then I have reason to believe that she could hijack my mind and body in an instant. Fortunately she still suffers from a certain amount of arrogance and confidence in her own powers. She is so overwhelmingly confident in that power of hers that she believes that nobody would be foolish enough to defy her." Even though she's been betrayed so many times in the past? That wasn't confidence! That was just... an inability to learn from the past! Well... it was fortunate that the girl was so arrogant, as her arrogance was your chance."Do you thing that if your authority in this world is second only to hers, that us together would be able to accomplish something that would allow for this world to be saved?" You seriously didn't want to give up."Perhaps once, but your power over truth is waning for every moment we spend speaking. Your full power is not something you have access to any longer, and for every moment that you waste here speaking to me about things, your power will yet wane more, and will continue to wane for so long as you remain in this world." Morgan gave you a serious look now. "For the longer you remain in a world where you are just another character in a story, the more you are detached from what you truly should be, and the more of that power that Manaka gains. Once you have taken hold of the core of this world, I imagine you will be given... a choice." You looked at her and waited for her to continue speaking. "If you find the core of this world, then it might be possible to do something against Manaka's power, but until then, it is pointless even discussing it further." Morgan spoke quickly now. "We have wasted enough time as it is, your power is still waning, and I cannot hide myself from Manaka's potential gaze forever." A mirror started to form underneath you."Wait! Is there... is there any way for us to remain linked while I go and address these threats?!"
"Any enchantment to speak with you I could cast would be seen through by her. I am sorry, Shinji, but I have done all that I am able to do right now! Find the core of the world, and sever her power over this world!" You wanted to ask Morgan more questions, about the factions and the rogue agents, but... it seems like you should've asked her that stuff earlier, because it seems like time has run out for the two of you.You fell through the shimmering portal on the floor, and swiftly found yourself hitting the grassy ground face first as a result of Morgan's magic. Shirou and Saber were nowhere to be seen, and you found yourself at a cross-roads. To the north was a misty forest that seemed to scream danger. To the east was a graveyard that appeared to be soaked in malevolence, and to the west was a crumbling old church that seemed to emanate hatred. Looks like Morgan had sent you in between the three places she wanted you to check out. Behind you, a long way away, was the distant view of the castle that you had just been banished from.>Traverse the Forest to the North.>Visit the Graveyard to the East.>Check out the Church to the West.>Walk back to the Castle in the South.>Write-in?

She could have told us more if we'd asked the right questions, but it's too late now. We've wasted enough time already. Let's not waste anymore. The clock is ticking, our Truth is waning and Manaka is becoming stronger by the second. We'll end up losing everything if we keep fooling around.

You know that Morgan said that you needed to visit the forest at some point, but... the place wasn't really somewhere that you wanted to go without a little bit of preparation. If the forest that laid before you was indeed the Nameless Forest, then the powerful enchantments that attack the mind and memories of those who enter it might even prove to be trouble for you! While you imagined that under normal circumstances, you'd be completely immune to such magical enchantments, right now, with Truth apparently weakened as it was, you didn't want to risk it without at least some sort of assurance that you weren't going to forget everything because of the stupid place. So, with the forest ruled out for the moment, your gaze wandered to the graveyard. You don't know why you felt that the graveyard was a good place to visit, but... even soaked in malevolent energy as it was, and for as foreboding as it seemed to be, you couldn't help but consider something about it familiar. You were a great ally of a Goddess of the Underworld, after all, so maybe you had been graced with some of her protections? You somehow strongly doubted that Ereshkigal had found her way to this rendition of Camelot, but... you supposed that it wasn't a complete impossibility that she was here? Though you hadn't really met anybody else here who didn't belong, and you feel like Morgan might've mentioned if the Babylonian Goddess of the Underworld had manifested in this world. It's kind of important information to avoid giving. Still, a man could hope. Having Ereshkigal around would make your life a hell of a lot easier, especially with her tremendous power to quite literally bring the dead back to life... even if she didn't enjoy doing it, you felt like she'd make an exception for this case. With slight caution, you walked towards the graveyard. The air seemed to grow thin as you walked further towards the cemetery, and you occasionally felt as if you heard whispers being spoken in your ear by the winds around you. You couldn't dismiss that the whispers originated from restless spirits, but you didn't really want to think about it that hard. If any spirits tried to mess with you, you'd obliterate them without a second thought anyway. As you entered the graveyard, you noticed something interesting about each and every grave. The tombstones did not have any personal markings. Each simply had 'A brave knight who died for his king' scratched into the rock. Each grave had a damaged helmet and a sword resting against the recently disturbed dirt of every single one of the graves. This graveyard... judging by the state of the graves, then each and every one of these men had been
