It is a time of peace. With Lord Freeza’s explosive declaration, naming himself Emperor of the Universe after single-handedly obliterating the Covenant stronghold High Charity, peace has come to the universe. Not wanting to stand against him and his unstoppable Super Saiyans, within days of his declaration the universe bent the knee. And while there are always outliers, those stubborn or foolish enough to try and resist, the overwhelming majority of the universe is bending the knee. And he wouldn’t have achieved all this, defeated the strongest military in the universe and survived the Prophet’s ultimate weapon without your help.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, the story of an alternate timeline in the greater Dragonball EU. Currently it is Age 750 and you the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power recognized across the universe. Now as a PTO general with a powerlevel of over 51 million, and close friend and confidant of Lord Freeza himself, Emperor of the Universe, Karn has become his people’s greatest champion.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The tournament continued, most competitors giving their best and showing off their different powers and skills. However some didn’t compete fairly, Chilli’s opponent trying to attack your son after he rung oit the larger man without ever touching him. After Chilli retaliates by nearly executing him before Freeza interfered, the last match happened while Karn spoke with his older children. With the second round finished off, Broly and Arlic are kicking off the third round of matches. And as we rejoin Karn, Broly is going on the offensive.

“I’ll end this quick.” he says, crouching a bit in preparation to dash forward. His opponent sees this and does the same, no doubt hoping to leap aside when Broly charges. But then your son moves, closing the entire width of the space between them near-instantly. The young man tries leaping aside to his left, but Broly is ready. Gathering a small ball of ki in his right Broly swings it forward, catching Arlic in the stomach and swinging. The instant Broly’s arm reaches the end of his swing the orb exolodes, sending his foe flying. Before Arlic can recover he slams back-first into the far wall, crashing into it beside the disgraced Pinrut.

“Arlic has been sent from the stage, the winner is Broly!” Freeza calls, the crowd roaring as your son walks over to his foe, and gently pulls him from the wall. The two share words for a moment, followed by something spit venomously from Pinrut. Broly turns to him, reaches out and grabs the man’s nose, and with casual disdain breaks it with a twisting snap. Pinrut howls in agony, thrashing helplessly against his shackles as Broly and Arlic turn from him, returning to the competitor seating while Freeza calls the next fighters up. Kaliflor and Celleri, fighters take the stage!”

The two women take the stage, the half Ctarl-Ctarl looking far more excited than her opponent.

“How strong are you?” Kaliflor asks, immediately taking her fighting stance before Freeza says anything.
“Not strong enough to out-muscle you.” Celleri replies, obviously nervous. “But I’m not backing down.”
“That’s the spirit!” Kaliflor answers, Freeza just rolling with it as the two don’t transform and take their stances. Celleri takes an odd, three-point stance on the ground that’s as low as Kaliflor’s is.
“Both fighters ready?” he asks, raising his arm then dropping it. “Begin!”

And the instant the battle begins, Celleri vanishes in a cloud of dust the instant Kaliflor charges forward. Her odd stance makes more sense now, no doubt having been charging a small ball of ki into her down hand and firing it into the ground as Freeza starts the fight.

“Interesting tactics.” King Vegeta says, you sensing her narrowly leaping above the vastly-stronger halfbreed as Kaliflor charges straight through the cloud. Slowing to a stop she nearly slides right off the arena, barely stopping right at the edge. Which is when Celleri attacks. Wordlessly she fires another fast, fist-sized ball of ki that strikes the ground just behind Kaliflor. And again kicks up a cloud of smoke, blinding the half Ctarl-Ctarl again. “Keeping an opponent who cannot sense ki off-balance by using smokescreens is an excellent maneuver.”
“She’s good.” Meloka says, you both watching and sensing as Celleri gathers her energy, lining Kaliflor up to send her out-of-bounds with a single strike. “Got a good head on her-“

“Take THIS!!” she roars, firing a powerful two-handed crimson beams of energy down at the half Ctarl-Ctarl. She hears the shout and turns, just in time to catch the wave of ki with both hands. The impact blasts the smoke back away, revealing her feet are barely hanging on to the very edge of the arena.

“Is Kafor gonna lose?” Kayle asks you, as the halfbreed holds the blast back without giving even an inch of ground.

“You really think so?” you ask, Kayle turning a confused glance to you as Kaliflor holds her ground against the beam. “Just watch and see kiddo. This fight’s far from over.”
“HRRYAAAAA!” Kaliflor roars, holding the blast back with one hand while firing her own beam into Celleri’s crimson one with the other. Kaliflor blasts her foe’s beam back, swiftly overwhelming her weaker opponent. But before it can strike Celleri she drops her own attack, dashing straight down to the ground. Kaliflor doesn’t see her foe dodge, focused so intently on firing her own beam. Celleri lands on all fours, then throws herself forward at her foe. Kaliflor realizes something’s wrong, ending her blast just as Celleri’s closed the distance. “What?”

“HAAAAAAA!!” Celleri bellows, slamming a full-power tackle into the half Ctarl-Ctarl’s gut. Her charge launches them both off the stage, flying right towards the arena wall and out-of-bounds. Kaliflor realizes what’s about to happen to her, and with a roar starts spinning Celleri around. Once, twice, three times she spins, then pitches the weaker girl back down at the arena. The force of her throw launches the half-Ctarl-Ctarl higher into the sky, while sending her foe smashing down against the stage. Kaliflor stops her flight after a dozen yards or so, keeping her eyes on the body of her foe. “Tch! I-I’m not done yet!”

Celleri rises unsteadily to her feet, chest heaving a but as she tries catching her breath. Kaliflor remains in the air, not immediately rushing back towards her foe. Instead she glares down at her, not making any moves.

“Woah! So cool!” Kayle says, your daughter enthralled by the fight so far. “C’mon Kafor! You can do this!”
“Go Cerri!” Maz shouts, cheering the weaker fighter on. The twins turn and look at each other, brows furrowing. “Cerri gonna win!”
“No, Kafor gonna win!” Kayle replies to her brother. “Right, daddy?”

Well? How do you handle this? Or do you?

Looks like she got almost every advantage at the moment. Celleri's only chance seems to be some clever and tricky move to get Kaliflor to ring out. Maybe if she knows something that is like the disorienting and blinding Solar Flare and then quick hit to get Kaliflor out of the arena. Either way I hope both of them give their best in this fight. Maybe Celleri will surprise us.

“Celleri does have a chance. But it is an uphill battle against a far stronger foe.” you say to them both, as neither fighter moves. “Kaliflor may be stronger, but she’s almost been knocked out of the ring twice now. If she’s not careful, Celleri can still pull out a win.”
“She’s fighting well.” King Vegeta replies, both of your kids turning to him. “We should encourage more of this style of fighting.”
“It keeps you alive against a stronger foe.” Meloka adds in, as Kaliflor begins descending back down to the arena floor, then lays her head on your arm. “How I’ve kept up with you all these years hun.”

“She does kinda fight like you.” you say as Kaliflor’s feet touch the stage, Celleri taking a defensive stance. Kaliflor again takes her low stance, the two young women staring each other down as the crowd cheers.
“You aren’t strong, but you fight good.” Kaliflor says, crouching even lower and flicking her tail. “Looks like I gotta take you real serious!”
“You gotta be kidding me.” Celleri replies as Kaliflor’s power surges, aura flaring wildly as her power more than doubles. The weaker girl begins gathering ki into both her hands, then immediately leaps straight up into the air. Kaliflor’s ears and tail twitch, and she blitzes up after her foe. Before Celleri can fire her energy, Kaliflor dashes up and around behind her, twisting and swinging a powerful right backfist square into the weaker girl’s back. “GYAAAAAA!!”

Celleri slams back down chest-first into the arena, cracking the tile as her gathered ki apparently vanishes. But with your ki sense, you see what she’s done. Celleri’s poured her ki down into the arena, no doubt setting a trap for her opponent. But Kaliflor doesn’t hesitate, immediately blitzing back down towards her downed opponent. Celleri doesn’t move, Kaliflor dashing right to her. But at the last second the weaker Saiyan rolls aside, Kaliflor’s fist slamming into the arena floor. Celleri keeps rolling, snapping her fingers as she’s on her back and keeps rolling, putting her back to where Kaliflor is. Who, as she pulls her hand free of the floor, sees two distinct crimson lights glowing beneath the tile.

“Wait, wha-?” she starts, then both blasts detonate right in her face. The blast is tremendous, knocking Celleri even further away from her foe. The young Saiyan rolls all the way to the edge of the arena, nearly falling off before carching herself on the edge. Her blasts kicked up a tremendous smoke cloud, but as she pulls herself back onto the stage it’s blasted away.

“Not bad, that was a good one.” Kaliflor says as her surging aura blasts the smoke back away to the audience’s roaring approval. “But I’m not gonna let you do any more tricks!”
“D-Dammit! Not yet!” Celleri calls, trying to gather her energy for another attack. But she’s unable to gather her energy fast enough, Kaliflor dashing forward low and kicking up square into her foe’s chest. “GUUH!?!”

The young girl is sent flying back, smashing back-first square into the arena wall hard enough she craters it, and sticks there.

“Celleri has been sent from the stage. Kaliflor Clan-Clan wins!” Freeza calls, the audience all cheering excitedly at the match’s conclusion. Kaliflor flies over to the wall, offering a hand to her beaten opponent. But after a moment sees that Celleri is out cold, and gingerly pulls her free and carries her over to your daughter Caulifla. “Now, for the next match! Tabaga and Tatsu, step forward!”

Your son takes the stage with his opponent, but clearly isn’t messing around by transforming immediately. It isn’t even a fight, your Super Saiyan son eliminating the non-Super Saiyan instantly. Which is a precursor for the next several fights, as Kakarot and Chaya both eliminate their opponents within ten seconds. Then Parsla takes the stage once more, facing her opponent Callion. Who, to everyone’s surprise immediately leaps off, giving up after the young girl’s last showing against an Oozaru. Caulifla and Chilli both take their Super Saiyan forms and swiftly eliminate their foes as well, bringing the tournament to the quarterfinals.

“Now, for the first match of the quarterfinals!” Freeza calls, the crowd roaring excitedly in anticipation of this fight. “Broly and Kaliflor, take the stage!”
“Now we’ll see.” King Vegeta says, as the two take the stage. “Show us just how strong she is, Broly.”
“Is Broly gonna be okay?” Maz asks you, curious. “She’s really strong.”
“Kafor might be strong enough to beat Broly!” Kayle says, leaning forward excitedly.
“What do you think?” Meloka surprises you by asking. “You think she’s got a chance?”
“GRRRRRAAAAAAAA!!!” Broly bellows, your son’s aura exploding as he takes on his full power Ascended Berserker form. Seems your son’s not taking any chances.

Seeing Broly hold nothing back, and take on his strongest form immediately puts a smirk on your face.

“I’m not worried, he’s got this.” you say to your wife as the Ctarl-Ctarl gathers a ball of familiar energy in each of her hands. “Broly won’t lose here.”
“Momma told me not to hold back against you.” Kaliflor Clan-Clan says, pitching her Twin Power Ball straight into the air. “Burst open and mix! Dual Moon!!”
“Wait, two?” Nappa asks, sounding as surprised as you feel while you and Meloka shield the kids’ eyes. You feel the Blutz waves striking your tail, and feel compelled to gaze at the two Power Balls, but control yourself and keep your gaze firmly on Kalifor as she begins transforming.

“GRRRRRR! RRRRR!! GRRRRAAAAAAAAA!!!” she roars, body growing and powerlevel exploding upwards as she takes her Ctarl-Ctarl’s beastmen tranaformation. Her body shreds her clothes as he body expands, rapidly transforming into a hulking, monsterous beast. It looks like a crossbreed between an Oozaru and their catlike forms, growing well over twenty five feet tall. Her muzzle protrudes out, fangs growing large and threatening as her body takes a more Oozaru-like shape. Her arms lengthen, ending in fists equipped with cat-like claws, fur turning to pale with black stripes as she unleashes an unholy roar.

“GRRRSHAAAAAA!!!” she howls to the sky before returning her gaze down towards your son. Her lip curls, snarling down at him.
“Both fighters ready?” Freeza asks, raising his right hand, holding it a moment, then drops it. “Begin!”
“RAAAAAAA!!” Kaiflor roars, swinging a giant paw towards Broly. With claws larger than your son, she tries to cut him down immediately. But Broly’s ready, leaping above the giant paw and flying right towards her muzzle. She seees him approaching, and simply opens her mouth and fires. “BAAAAAAA!!”

Firing a massive wave of energy from her mouth, Broly doesn’t even have time to raise his arms to guard himself. Her beam sends him straight back down into the arena floor, crashing right back down where he’d jumped from. Then Kaliflor leaps, stomping down on him with a giant foot that more closely resembles an Oozaru’s, but with intimidating feline claws instead of nails. Her heel smashes down on your son, you wincing a bit in sympathy. She stands atop him triumphantly a few moments, until you see it. Her leg begins trembling, then her foot suddenly starts rising back into the air. Broly rises back to his feet, lifting her foot up and pushing her off of him.

“HRRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” he roars, emerald aura blazing as he blasts into the air, toppling his giant foe. She falls onto her rear as he blazes up into the sky, and throws his arms wide. Wait, is he-?

“HRRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” Broly bellows, creating a pair of energy orbs in his hands. He then slams them together, the energy combining as he hefts the rapidy-expanding orb overhead. His energy grows larger and larger, eclipsing even Kaliflor’s transformed size as he holds a world-breaking attack overhead. “Take this! EVENT HORIZON!!”

“GRRRROOOAAAAAAA!!” Kaliflor bellows, reaching up as Broly’s attack drops and catches the massive blast! Her knees buckle under the weight, nearly letting it drop down on herself. The arena floor cracks beneath her feet as she tries holding the blast back, clearly straining hard to hold your son’s attack away. But after several seconds she’s clearly able to hold it back, and begins slowly pushing it back upwards.
“N-No way.” your son says, you reading his lips as he sees her forcing his blast back. “Tch! If one’s not enough!”

He then throws his arms wide once again shouting something, you sensing his energy spiking once more but unable to hear him over the crowd going wild

“Wait, what is he-?” you say, and see him AGAIN slamming the orbs in his hand together and hauling that rapidly-expanding ki orb overhead.
“A second one?!” Nappa shouts in clear shock, you glancing over and seeing the sudden worry on his face. “How much power does he have?”
“Show them, Broly.” King Vegeta says, arms still crossed but smirking. Show these Ctarl-Ctarl the power of a true Saiyan warrior!”
EVENT! HORIIIZOOON!!” Broly roars, and launches the second blast down. Some in the audience cheer while others scream in terror, your son’s second blast crashing down atop the first like a meteor. The two titanic blasts crash together, you throwing your hands forward with a shout of “Super Barrier!” and create your giant barrier around Broly, Kaliflor, and the ring, shielding the audience from what’s about to happen.

“HAAAAA!!” you shout, hardening your Super Barrier around Lord Freeza and the competitors as both of Broly’s blasts begin merging. The two tremendous orbs begin pulling each other in and mixing together, the giant blasts shrinking by the second. However you feel the pooling energy’s mass multiplying several times over. The two giant blasts keep condensing down, forming a tiny, fist-sized spark of tremendous power. If such a blast hit even you, fully transformed as you are, it could cause tremendous damage. You have to stop-

And then it detonates. The tiny point of light bursts, unleashing a blast quite unlike anything you’ve felt before. The tremendous firestorm of energy bursts out, slamming into your shield with tremendous fury. Despite the power difference between you and Broly, the energy keeps pressing on your shield with more and more pressure. You feel your shield beginning to crack, energy starting to bleed through.

“D-Dammit! Meloka, now!!” you shout, dropping your Barrier, grabbing the twins and turning your back on the explosion. Meloka does the same with Okira and Karn Jr, your Barrier shattering. You take the tremendous explosion right on your back, shielding your young twins from the damage as it rolls over you like a wave. “Gaaaaah?!”
“Waaaaaah!!” Kayle shouts.
“Daaaaaa!” Maz calls, feeling the shockwaves through your body as the waves crash against your back. The audience members scream in terror as the blast washes over the stands, no doubt harming or maybe even killing many of them. You feel your armor shattering from the blast and the energy scorching your back, gritting your teeth in pain. After several seconds the explosion finally ends, you glancing over your shoulder to see the results before turning and showing the kids. The arena’s stage simply gone, replaced with a smoking crater. Lord Freeza’s simply standing there on a small piece of stage that survived by being directly under him, neither Broly nor Kaliflor anywhere to be seen. But where did they go?

Focusing your ki sense, you can feel Broly’s greatly-diminished ki from far away, somewhere still in the air but between the arena and the main city. But Kaliflor’s ki is coming from the bottom of the crater, and much smaller than it was before the blast detonated. You turn around with the kids as Freeza looks down, both of them “Woooaaaah”ing at the sight. He then glances to where you sense Broly’s ki approaching from, seeing your son has reverted to his base form. He then reaches down, and using telekinesis grabs onto Kaliflor, and hauls the Saiyan/Ctarl-Ctarl hybrid up and out of the crater before addressing the crowd.

“Both fighters have lost their transformations due to the same attack.” he calls out. “However, Broly destroyed the ring, and Kaliflor also landed out-of-bounds, due to the arena itself being destroyed. However, Broly is still conscious while Kaiflor Clan-Clan is out cold. So, by two-to-three on outs, I declare Broly to be the winner!”

There are some cheers from the crowd, but many are silent, looking around confused. What now? Without an arena, how will the tournament continue? Will everyone move to a second stage elsewhere, or-?

“Everyone who is injured, please make your way over to Karn’s daughter Caulifla.” he says, taking control of the situation as Chilli takes off, flying away back towards your ship. “She will heal everyone, and undo any damage you took. If you see someone too injured to move or unconscious, please bring them over to her as well.”

Much of the audience begins migrating towards your daughter, who takes her chime in hand and muttering as golden light forms a wide circle hovering just over the ground around her. Freeza carries the unconscious halfbreed over, laying her down gently beside your daughter as Caulifla unleashes a golden wave of light. It washes over several dozen Saiyans near her, many the other competitors both still in the tournament and already eliminated.

“Chilli, what’s going on?” you ask your son telepathically. “What are you going for?”
“Getting a couple of those magic-restoring potions Caulifla’s picked from across time.” your son replies. “Lord Freeza wants me to fix the arena.”
“You can do that?” you ask him, confused. A few seconds later he reappers, dashing back to float right over where the stage was before the tournament. You see his left hand holding onto three bottles, magic staff with it’s ominous scythe-like blade held in his right. “Chilli, what are you doing?”
“Watch close Dad. I’ve been practicing.” he replies, pocketing one bottle and uncorking the other, drinking the pale blue liquid. He chugs it down quick, then pockets the empty bottle and snaps his left hand. The sinister tome appears in his hand, arm and goat sleeve both turning translucent except for his skeleton. He then holds his staff overhead, lowering it down towards where the stage was as it begins shining with pale light. “I’ll show you what I can really do!”

“Everyone, clear the space where the arena was.” Lord Freeza orders, everyone scrambling immediately. But you only have eyes for your son, feeling something building within him. “Stand clear as the arena is reconstructed!”
“I’m watching son.” you tell him, then shout aloud. “Show me! Show me your absolute best!”
“Go Chilli!” Megumin adds. “You can do it!”
“GOOO!!” Maz and Kayle add, not quite sure why they’re cheering but that doesn’t stop them from cheering.

“Dark Magic: True Dark!” your son calls, a sphere of absolute darkness appearing and rapidly expanding from his staff. His darkness expands out all the way inside the stands, covering the entire inside of the arena that was. You can’t see your son anymore, and his ki signature completely disappears from your senses as well. Even his mental link simply vanishes, your son disappearing completely inside the dark orb.
“The hell?” you say aloud, wondering what he’s doing. “Hey, Megumin. Do you have any idea what this is?”
“He’s using his Chaos magic.” she answers, you and your twins all turning towards her confused. Seeing your looks, she begins explaining. “That’s what it’s called when you combine light and dark magic. Combining them together creates Chaos magic, which has control over both space and time.”

“That sounds....Dangerous.” Meloka says, your wife actually sounding somewhat nervous.
“Oh, it is. If he loses control, he could age up eighty years when that darkness fades.” she say, sounding completely not worried for what she’s saying. “But I have faith in my husband. He can do it.”
“Chilli’s got this.” you say confidently, looking back at the abyss your son disappeared inside. And then, to your surprise, the orb of absolute black begins changing. It starts as a pinpoint of light, the small point quickly growing brighter and brighter. The shadowy orb rapidly changes into a spiral of dark and light magic, the two energies spinning faster and faster until their colors are indistinguishable and form a grey sphere. You don’t avert your gaze, watching your son’s magic and waiting to see what will happen. The grey orb begins fading after several seconds, the inside fading outward until it’s completely gone. Leaving your son Chilli standing atop the stage, as if nothing happened.

“I....did....i-“ he says, chest heaving as both tome and staff drop from his hands. He then drops to his knees, and falls over on his right side.
“C-CHILLI!!” Megumin shouts in panic, you setting the twins down and grabbing her arm with your left hand.
“Hold on.” you say, raising your right hand to your forehead and teleport the both of you by his side. Appearing beside him you let her go, Megumin dropping down and grabbing her husband.
“Chilli? Chilli, are you okay?” she asks worriedly, rolling him over onto his back. “Chilli, can you hear me?”

“D-Did I do it?” he asks her tiredly, barely opening one eye and seeing both you and his wife.
“You did great kiddo.” you say as Megumin just grabs her husband and buries her face in his chest. The last thing you see is him smiling before his face disappears under Megumin’s wide-brimmed hat. You turn back to Meloka and give her a small thumbs up, showing her that Chilli’s okay. Turning back around, you see Megumin helping her husband back up onto to his feet. He’s a little unsteady, but is beaming at you with a triumphant look.
“I-I told you.” he says tiredly, you giving him a small smile and laying your hand on his shoulder. Then you use your Instant Transmission once again, teleporting him and his wife to Caulifla’s side. “I knew I could do it.”

“You did son. Good job.” you tell him, patting him on the shoulder. He smikes and lays back in the seat you’d teleported them to, closing his eyes. Before you can say anything else he’s asleep, Megumin assuring you she’ll wake him up in time for his match. You nod to her, focusing on your wife’s ki and teleporting back to your seat in the stands.
“Now, time for the second round of the quarterfinals!” Freeza calls out, the crowd’s enthusiam returning. “Tatsu and Kakarot, take the stage!”

Yours and Bardock’s sons walk up on the stage together, Freeza landing down beside the two of them.

“Before we begin, I will remind you both to focus your attacks on each other, and not the stage itself.” he tells them. “Now, both contestants, take your forms!”
“HAAAAAAAA!!” Kakarot bellows, immediately Ascending in a burst of sparks. “Sorry Tatsu, but I’m not losing this one.”
“Are you sure?” your son asks him, clenching his fists. You can almost feel his teeth grinding as he focuses, then unleashes his power with a roar. Your son Tatsu transforms into a Super Saiyan, but he doesn’t seem to be done yet. “HRRAAAAAAA! HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

The tile he’s standing on cracks then shatters, shards of reinforced tile lifted off the ground by his surging golden aura as lightning begins dancing around his body. You feel Tatsu’s power doubling, as with a final, throat-tearing roar he finishes transforming.

“Woah. You told me you hadn’t gotten this form yet.” Kakarot says, taking a stance similar to his old man’s with a smirk. “Look at you.”
“I’m not gonna lose.” your son replies, taking his own stance resembling the late Guardian’s.
“Did you know he could do that?” Meloka asks you, a note of worry in her voice.
“No.” you reply, a small, proud smile coming to your face. “But I’m not surprised.”

“Go big bro!!” Maz shouts encouragingly. “You can do it!”
“Go Tatsu!” Kayle adds. “Go! Goooo!”
“AAAAAAAAAAH!” Karn Jr adds, arms waving wildy. Your youngest is simply enjoying the spectacle, a wide smile on his face as Freeza raises his arm.
“Both fighters ready?” He asks, looking between them before dropping his arm.
“Do you think Bardock’s boy is going to take this?” Nappa asks you, King Vegeta, and Turles, before turning to you. “Or will your boy Tatsu take the win?”

“I haven’t seen Tatsu access this power before.” you say honestly. “I’m not sure how long he can hold onto it.”
“Tatsu’s gonna win!” Kayle shouts indignantly, pouting at King Vegeta and Nappa. “He won’t lose!”
“We’ll see.” Vegeta replies, the smile in his eyes not quite reaching his face as Freeza starts the second quarterfinal match.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=FnDknAp63OE

“BEGIN!” Freeza shouts, dropping his arm as the two of them charge forward. Tatsu swings with a straight left as Kakarot fires a right, the two warriors cross-countering each other. The shockwave blasts out from them, seperating the two fighters. Who immediately blitz right back towards each other, Kakarot again firing his straight right. But this time Tatsu dodges, twisting his upper body clockwise and narrowly avoiding Kakarot’s fist. Tatsu spins all the way around, delivering a savage right elbow to the back of Kakarot’s head.

“Gaaaah!” he exclaims, Tatsu spinning back counterclockwise and flipping laterally over Kakarot’s return backfist and firing a straight left square into his nose. “Guuuh?!”
“TEYAAAAA!!” Tatsu roars, following his punch with a kick that sends his stronger foe flying back. As he flips and dashes after his foe Kakarot flips backwards, landing on three limbs. Immediately Tatsu’s on him, but Kakarot’s faster and kicks up at your son. Who blocks it with his right forearm, and immediately follows up with a heavy left straight down. Kakarot dashes backwards, narrowly dodging the fist that Tatsu plants down into the tile. Before he can pull it back Kakarot flips back, dashing in with a flying kick at your son’s head. Tatsu flips up and over Kakarot’s kick, who spins and fires again just as Tatsu does the same. Both kicks hit their mark, Tatsu and Kakarot staggering back from the simultaneous head kicks.

“Your son is quite skilled.” King Vegeta says, the crowd roaring in approval as both fighters stagger back from each other. Tatsu and Kakarot both take a moment to get their feet back under them, before rushing right back into the fight. “Unless you can sense it, one wouldn’t notice the surprising power gap between them.”
“He clearly takes more after his mother.” Nappa adds in teasingly, getting a chuckle out of you as the two go right back to throwing rapid-fire volleys at each other. Where Tatsu clearly has the advantage, despite Kakarot being faster and stronger. At least, initially.

“HAAAAA!!” Kakarot shouts, firing a kick straight back as Tatsu dodges one of his punches yet again with a Su Ma spin. However this one Tatsu wasn’t ready for, Kakarot’s foot catching him square in the chest and sending your son flying. Tatsu crashes down hard, landing in a tumbling roll that sends him right to the edge of the arena. Your son if clutching his middle, suddenly coughing up blood off the side of the ring. “Nice try. But this match is mine Tatsu.”
“No. N-Not yet.” your son says, blood spraying as he begins pushing himself off the arena floor. Once upright Tatsu turns back towards Kakarot, spitting blood aside then retaking his stance. “I’m not giving up.”

You then see Bardock’s boy smile, retaking his own fighting stance. But then his aura surges, power rising even higher as he reveals he wasn’t going all-out yet.

“That’s the right answer. But I’ve gotta end this quick.” Kakarot replies. “I’ve got to beat your brother after this, so I can’t waste too much more power.”
“Then come and get me!” Tatsu replies, raising his power as high as he can. Which only serves to highlight the differences between their might. “I won’t lose!”
“He’s got spirit.” King Vegeta says. “But this fight’s over.”
“No, Tatsu ain’t gona lose!” Maz says, turning to you. “Is he?”

Well? What do you say?

Luckily for Tatsu he’s not alone in the ring. Or is it unluckily?
>>
>>5030543
“He still has a chance.” you tell your son. “If he throws everything he’s got right now, and gets lucky, he might be able to pull out a win.”
“Not likely.” King Vegeta says, then turns to look at you and your son. “But, then again: I have seen what impossible miracles his father has pulled off in the past. Who knows, perhaps that’s genetic as well?”

“We’re gonna take you down!” Tatsu shouts, throwing his right arm out as if trying to grab his twin sister’s hand for their usual conjoined fighting stance. But then his fist clenches shut violently, you sensing a tremendous amount of power suddenly surging up from somewhere deep within him. His strength surges higher and higher, powerlevel quintoupling as his aura blazes violently. “This is our full power!!”
“Wh-What?” Kakarot says, clearly taken aback by Tatsu’s sudden power surge. “What is this?”

“What did we tell you?” Tatsu says, his voice sounding noticeably different. And that’s when you realize what’s happening: Tatsu isn’t the one fighting. Not anymore. Glancing aside, you notice down with the competitors that Tomi’s clenching her opposite fist, confirming your suspicions: Tomitsu has joined the tournament. “You won’t win this fight.”

Kakarot retakes his stance, clearly no longer confident in an easy victory as he was moments ago. Tomitsu takes the former Guardian’s stance, readying to charge forward into battle. But before Tomitsu can go on the attack again, Freeza steps in and places a hand on your son’s shoulder. They stop, turning towards Freeza confused. Then his eyes widen in surprise, seeing such a cold-blooded glare from the emperor.

“I don’t know who you are, but you’re not Tatsu.” Freeza says to him, voice menacingly low and threatening. “You have exactly twenty seconds to explain how you’re possessing Karn’s son. And if I find your answer unsatisfactory, I shall personally introduce you to a world of pain.”

Oh, hell. This isn’t good at all.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 164 paused-
>>
>>5030568
And that’s it for this weekend, everyone enjoying the ride? Again I’ll be out rolling irl dice, so there won’t be any updates tomorrow. Episode 164 will continue the following Saturday at noon as per usual, where we’ll see how this new development ends. What do you think of Freeza, being able to perceive such a shift in your kids and acting without hesitation? Curious how that fight will end, as well as the rest of the quarterfinals? Who do you think will be the other semifinalists? All this and more, when Saiyan Conqueror Quest resumes!
>>
>>5030571
>What do you think of Freeza, being able to perceive such a shift in your kids and acting without hesitation?
He's turning into a marvelous Uncle, not that there was ever any doubt.
>Who do you think will be the other semifinalists?
Probably Broly, probably not Chilli.
He probably screwed himself with the Chaos magic, but I think he got something much more valuable out of that whole exchange.
>>
>>5030568
>he has uncle senses on par with karn's danger senses
gat dang boah
>>
>>5030574
True.
Broly already had his quarterfinal, and is moving onto the semi finals. Chaya is against Parsla’s Wrath after Tatsu’s match, and then Chilli is up against Caulifla. Both of whom have burned through a bit of magic recently, Chilli much, much moreso than Caulifla.
>>5030583
Freeza has his “this doesn’t sound like my friend’s kid, who the fuck is this?” moment, that’s for sure. But is Karn going to have to step in? Or will the twins handle it themselves without provoking Freeza to strike first?
>>
>>5030587
I'd say hit we have to hit Frieza with a telepathic warning. We shouldn't let him act without the full picture.

Mostly because I assume this is a possible-future Karn and Meloka versus whatever, and possible futures, while interesting, don't really count for shit. Future Chaya is actually tangible. She's someone we actually interact with, whereas we may not end up in circumstances even close to this possible future, depending on how things play out between now and then.

Most epilogues aren’t gone when one is chosen, just saved to a folder where I keep the partially to half-done epilogues. Except for some specific story ones, and even then I can bring them back with the Time Patrol/Breakers changing them. No point just throwing out and wasting a good few hours’ writing.

This fight between Kalifor and Celleri is a good example of a battle with an opponent that clearly outmatches the other fighter by a great margin. Celleri is in a very difficult situation and that made me curious.

Let's say hypothetically that she is very familiar and skilled in a fighting style that assassin Hit uses. I'm not talking about time skip but his way of attacking the vital and important parts of enemy's body.

This is quote from " https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/Hit " describing it:
>" Vital Point Attack - Hit's primary method of attack. He attacks using the Phoenix Eye Fist method of punching in order to focus all of the energy from his blows into one point, thus increasing their effectiveness. Hit aims only for his opponent's vital spots, allowing him to take down his opponents without much effort, even if they are stronger than he is. As shown in his fights with Goku and Vegeta, he can choose how strongly he hits the vital spot, allowing him to avoid overly injuring or killing a foe. This technique, combined with his Time-Skip ability, is proven to be deadly. "

If Celleri used this against Kalifor would it be enough to give her the win? Or is the power difference too great? In Tournament of Power Hit's skills were not enough to defeat Jiren, so it can't overcome everything.

One more question is how Karn's fighting style compares to this? I know Karn tries to fight in a way that is as deadly as it can be but is it comparable to a level of skill that Hit has?

>Jiren proving to be too difficult for Hit.
>>
>>5031644
Realistically if you went up against a total meat mountain and tried to pop someone's vitals with your knuckles you'd just end up pissing them off. Can't really hit someone's organs or arteries if they're behind a full foot of blubber or HUGE muscles. Same way that gut punches are almost ineffective against someone who can properly clench their stomach muscles.

Of course Hit's style is silly bullshit where he can just cave in someone's chest over their heart which you'd think would be a regular punch with enough force but he just finangles it somehow so he doesn't need any power behind his punch? It's goofy.
>>
>>5031644
>If Celleri used this against Kalifor would it be enough to give her the win? Or is the power difference too great?
No, she wouldn’t be able to win. She could have done more damage, but she would have lost far sooner trying to go toe-to-toe against someone that much faster.
As for Karn vs Hit, no. Karn’s nowhere near Hit’s CENTURIES of experience in placing his shots right where he wants them to be incapacitating/lethal. >>5031645
A good point. While it’s a reused combination, Hit vs Vegeta then Hit vs Dyspo really shows the strength of that style. Vegeta Blue shrugged off those hits, and more besides, while that same combination completely incapacitated Dyspo for a time. Being significantly stronger than the punch does mitigate the damage, but it’s still more noticeable when the hit is a “critical hit” like that. In the truest sense of the word.
>>5031667
You mean his ranged attack? That’s actually a ki-based projectile attack, and is invisible to the eye. The real bullshit of that move is that it can pass through both living and nonliving matter at the user’s discretion.
>>
Also, I want to make one point clear: metagaming off information from the epilogues and trying to “prevent” events seen therein is not cool. And I will shut down write ins that use OOC knowledge of potential futures.

That said, I do these epilogues to give you guys more content both in-timeline and of other, possible futures just for fun.

To be fair it's not that hard to predict DB, especially Toei's rendition. Not even within the same arc could they help themselves with buffing SS4. We already had regular, Full Power and finally Super/Ultra Full Power. Though looking at Limit Breaker >>5033041
>>5032105 it's safe to presume that they're really channeling the Jiren vibe with his "Super Full Power" state in the anime. Which in hindsight kinda works since they don't wanna give the Xeno guys god powers but still want to compete in the same realm.

I'm curious if anybody remembered about Pinrut that was imprisoned in the arena's wall when Broly dropped 2 Event Horizons. Seems like everything got obliterated including the wall. It kind of looks like he most likely has died there. He was wounded so his only chance of escaping the blast was unlocking some transformation in the moment of desperation. If he died there then his one last chance was Chilli's spell. Maybe the magic not only fixed the damage to the arena but also undid Pinrut's death.

If he is alive what is going on in his head now? Is he burning with desire for revenge? Is he rethinking his behavior?

Were there casualties among the audience?

Well yeah, but I also meant in when you need filler to stall when you can't think of how to move forward/need more time for the big guns.

Also, did anyone else notice how much they've been fawning over SS3?

>Cumber bringing back Super Saiyan 3 and bolstering it into a Full-Powered state + Evil Aura to make it compete with literal Gods.
>Goku Black going into SSR3 and then going EVEN FURTHER BEYOND as an in-between 3 and primal with SSR Full Power
>Now having Gogeta's LBSS4 state fill to the brim that to differ it from the super special unique form they have him grow his hair like Vegito but SS3 style.
>Broly God being LSS3 but with God Ki
>All the full-blooded Saiyans + Gohan and F. Trunks gaining SS3. The Saiyan Avatar characters included.
>>
>>5034192
Ah right forgot
>Turles's Evil Saiyan full power form is basically Evil Super Saiyan 3 which basically also explains Cumber's Raditz-like hair size as he's always in the evil state.

Really Baby was the only odd one out with his Not SS3, although to be fair with Vegeta's Ultra Ego borrowing from one of the unused SS3 concept designs, it could be argued that toei was doing the same.

It’s one of the most difficult transformations to edit/animate, of course they’d take their time and wait until the budget grows enough to allow for it. As Fusion Reborn vs BoG showed, budget is everything on having Super Saiyan 3.

As for recognizing Karn, yes and no. Wouldn’t “recognize” him, but with so many dead at the hands of Saiyans, all those souls’ rage would manifest towards him in some form. Especially depending on his form when first seeing Janemba. And as for behavior, it depends on WHEN Janemba happens. As a major contributor to his creation from the Soul Cleansing Machine is Majin Buu(and the Supreme Kai’s divine power he’d absorbed), it depends mostly on Buu’s fate. Now, since the movies are “non-canon” to the main line, you have to find the timeline(or at least one close enough) they exist in. Since both Goku and Vegeta are dead, but not Gohan, Videl, Goten, and Trunks, it’s safe to assume in that timeline Gohan ultimately defeated Buu without extracting Fat Buu. Vegeta was never revived by Baba, Elder Kai never gave his life for Goku’s, and Vegito was never born. From Vegeta’s own mouth: https://youtube.com/watch?v=OfutIUZU3OI
If Vegito had existed in that timeline, no doubt Goku would have mentioned it and used the “this time it’s only 30 minutes.” line in the film. Which is why, incidentally, I hate that Gogeta was in the Broly movie. Goku could have simply used Instant Transmission to the Supreme Kai, got the earrings, and teleported back in under a minute. Which is far more believable than trying for AN HOUR to fuse into Gogeta while just letting Broly rampage.

Deep breaths GD, we all know the writers have more in common with DBZ fanfic writers at this point, and canonising Goku being a literal retard is going to be their defense.
>>
>>5034474
It’s been years at this point, I’m not angry or anything. Just disappointed.
>>
>>5034474
Remember how Goku could read people's minds during the Namek saga?
Why isn't that used more often?
>>
>>5034516
Same reason why you don't see half the powers Superman has gotten over the years.
>>
>>5034294
Well yeah but at this point, they're planting the budget with how many SS3 knock-offs they've been making. Though they could've also found better techniques to outmaneuver the dangers of SS3 which makes it more rigid for the hair than flowing freely. Either way, it's weird living in a time where Toei keeps favoring things that Akira made as subversion for the sake of drilling his point of "less is more" and "stop relying on transformations, focus on your base power"

Super Saiyan 3, Grade 2-3, etv.
>>
>>5034514
I think they just wanted Gogeta and Akira wanted to make a joke at the expense of logic and reasoning. Would've been far easier if Goku just transmitted the skill to Vegeta with the psychic powers he learned from King Kai or had piccolo do it.

Had he done that we wouldn't have Broly's Unlimited Stamina and Energy being canon (as well as a healing factor just like the Godly forms provides) and Frieza being the tankiest mother fucker in history.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 164 Intermission-

AGE 759, UNNAMED PLANET

“DAMMIT!!” you snarl, slammed back-first against the ground by the tremendous force of Ubo’s punch. But before he can capitalize on the opening, your husband attacks.
“RRRRRAAAAAAA!!” Karn roars angrily, pressing the attack with powerful swings. Yet as you watch your husband fight, still in only his Ascended Berserker form, it quickly becomes clear that you two aren’t winning this fight like this. Ubo’s far too powerful for you to be holding back. You’re going to have to go all-out.

You are Meloka: wife of Karn, mother and grandmother to many children, and the first Super Saiyan God to be born in over a thousand years. However, not long after your confrontation with the Destroyer, King Cold and Arctus had done it! They’d found Babidi! Gathering up your most powerful allies, you all had converged on the small, blue planet way out in the sticks of the north quadrant. You all crashed like a wave upon the world with no discernible powerlevels above a few hundred to a thousand at most detected, but as you began landing the trouble started. Ubo, screaming in pain was possessed, and easily controlled by the evil sorcerer Babidi. But he wasn’t the only one. Bardock, despite his Primal power also fell to the wizard’s magic. And if your allies turning on you wasn’t enough, he’d somehow enlisted two other Majin demons who’d set upon your ship just as it entered orbit, sending it crashing to the ground in a desert. So while Freeza handled the shapeshifting Majin, who’d copied his golden form and King Vegeta faced Bardock, you and Meloka had been left the difficult task of restraining Ubo.

“Karn, hold him off!” you shout up to your husband, closing your eyes and reaching deep within yourself. Past the power of a Super Saiyan, that radiating golden well of power you’ve felt inside you for decades now. You search even deeper down, reaching into that foreign well of power. Before the Super Saiyan God ritual granted you divine power, your family sharing their sparks with you to kindle a newfound flame, you wouldn’t have believed such a power could be yours. And you reach deep inside yourself, once more grasping ahold of that divine flame.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=M65QwnxHe6I

“HAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, kindling that tiny spark into a raging inferno, feeling the divine energy surging through you. Your entire body swells with power, your golden aura fading as the flames of your Super Saiyan God power begin to erupt from you.
“Wha-?” Ubo starts, your husband immediately slamming a fist into his jaw to send him flying and keep the possessed Ubo’s focus off of you while transforming. You feel your power surging, it growing more and more as you feel your mortal body changing. Your body’s muscles slim down, gi hanging more loosely off you in certain places which accentuates your form in others. And once you feel your transformation finish you open your eyes, gazing upon your possessed friend. He’s beating the hell out of your husband’s guard, who despite having his Energy Body on at full power is struggling. Ubo isn’t holding back, taking heavy blow after heavy blow that’s quickly breaking down his shields. He doesn’t have much time. “RRRAAAAAA-Huh?”

“That’s enough, Ubo.” you say, having instantly teleported behind the giant man and grabbed his much larger right wrist in your hand. Then before he’s fully processed what you’ve said you swing, left fist smashing against the side of his face and send him crashing straight down. Ubo’s body smashes open a massive crater, body obscured by the dust cloud the impact kicked up. “Take yourself a break hun, and recharge. I’ll handle this for now.”
“R-Right.” he says, nodding appreciatively as he descends, keeping distance between himself and Ubo. Meanwhile you focus on the giant’s ki, and begin gathering your own energy into both open palms. Without much effort you send a pair of Scattershots down, then fire a Death Beam into one. Each shot reflects the beam into other shots, quickly entrapping your friend inside the Hellzone Prison. But it doesn’t so much as slow Ubo down.

“RRRAAAA!!” he roars, charging headlong at you through the beams, which shatter against his blazing crimson aura. Seems this fight won’t be over that simply, Ubo closing the distance and swinging for your head. “GRRAAAA!!”
“Gotcha.” you think to yourself, using your Su Ma to spin clockwise around the giant’s fist. Which leaves him wide open to a counterattack, but you don’t use just any strike. During your training with the angel Whis, who helped guide and train you to use your divine power properly, he also taught you several useful techniques. Mostly intended to be used on Karn when he lost control of his Berserker 3’s immense power and rage, and to knock him out without causing any major or lasting harm. So before Ubo can recover you swing a backhanded knife hand into where his bulging neck meets his shoulder, right into a cluster of nerves that control a mortal body’s responses.
>>
>>5034602
The effects of your precision strike are immediate, Ubo’s blazing crimson aura vanishing as you hear a small sound escape his lips. But then his entire body goes limp, slumping forward unconscious. You got him. Or, so you thought.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=CiMOPL6HjIE

“UUUUHHHAAAAAAAAA!!” Ubo suddenly roars out in pain before his voice is abruptly cut off, arching backwards as dark energy surges within him. And you recognize it instantly, Babidi’s corrupting magic pouring into him. The sudden surge of power knocks you away a dozenish feet before you can recover, Ubo’s body moving unnaturally as it turns towards you. Like his body is being controlled by someone. And as your friend’s mouth opens, an unfamiliar voice speaks and confirms your suspicions.
“It seems I must thank you, monkey.” the higher-pitched, nasally voice says, grinning malevolently as the “M” on Ubo’s forehead burns bright red. “This one was resisting my control, and pulling his punches. But now that you’ve knocked him out of my way, I can now control his body as I see fit! Muuuhahahahahahaa!!”

“Dammit, this isn’t good!” you think to yourself, then reach out to your husband telepathically. “Karn, we’re out of options.”
“Are you sure?” he replies simply, realizing that you’re speaking in code in case the wizard can hear your telepathic conversations as well. “If I do this, there’s no going back.”
“We don’t have a choice.” you reply. “I knocked Ubo out, but Babidi gained full control of his body.”
“You know I can hear you, right?” the wizard asks through Ubo’s body, you feeling a snarl come to your face. “Touched a nerve, did I?”
“I’ll kill you for what you’ve done, Babidi.” you seethe, your godly, divine aura blazing up around you. “I’ll free Ubo from your control, then come kick your head straight down out of your ass!”

“OooooOOOh, I’m so horribly terrified. I guess I’ll surrender.” he says, in a poor attempt at comedy. “Oh wait, that’s right. I have your strongest ally’s body here under my full control, and now he’s going to watch as he beats you to death with his own hands.”
“If you think it’ll be that easy, then come get me.” you reply, taking your fighting stance. “But I’ll warn you now: my power is beyond what most beings can comprehend.”
“Another so-called deity professing their power.” he replies, raising Ubo’s arms. “I’ll show you what it means to-“

“HRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”
>>
>>5034603
https://youtube.com/watch?v=K61rG1hxBwA

“What the devil?” Ubo-Babidi says, turning and looking down at your husband as he screams. Muscles clenched and bent half-over, your husband is roaring in pain as his strength surges higher and higher. “I’m not trying to possess him, why is he screaming like that?”
“My husband’s transforming as well.” you reply, feeling a rush of pride in just how powerful your Karn has become. “And while this power you see me wield allowed me to fight Lord Beerus, his power made that Destroyer God kneel.”
“So, what you’re telling me, is...” he says, then suddenly turns and blasts down away from you towards him. “That I should kill him first!!”

“LIKE HELL!!” you roar indignantly, blitzing down after Ubo. But almost immediately you realize you won’t make it in time. So you use another technique learned in your time training under the angel Whis: God Bind. You press your wrists together and send your energy down, shrouding Ubo’s body in your divine energy then instantly hardening it. Like an inverse of Karn’s Immovable Energy Body, this technique restrains the target instead of yourself. Although you can’t really hurt someone inside it, the God Bind makes an effective, if energy-draining, restraining technique. But with Ubo trapped you dash around past him, placing yourself with your arms still outstretched between you and your still-screaming husband. “No way I’ll let you lay a FINGER on my Karn!”

“That’s not up to you! Paparra Papaa!!” the wizard screeches, and your hardened energy holding Ubo in place suddenly shatters! Without hesitation Ubo’s body lunges forward, yet despite the surprise your body reacta almost immediately. Ubo-Babidi swings a heavy right for your head. You deflect it with your left hand while twisting, catching Ubo’s right wrist and flipping him over your right shoulder. Just as Karn had taught you, all those years ago. “Wh-What?!”

However, instead of doing the technique exactly as he’d taught, which would have sent the possessed Ubo crashing down onto him, you continue your flip. You spin until ready, releasing and launching Ubo away from your husband, parallel to the ground away from him as he’s still screaming bloody murder. Throwing your arms wide you quickly gather a ball of ki in each hand, then slam them together before you. The dual energies begin spiraling together, mixing and magnifying the power as you give it shape. You’ll have to apologize to Ubo later, because you know this’ll probably hurt even him.

“Sorry Ubo.” you mutter, then just as you’re about to unleash, you hear it. Or rather, DON’T hear it. Karn’s done roaring. You glance back down towards him, and see that he’s done it once again. He’s ascended to his strongest form once more.
>>
>>5034605
Standing even taller, Karn’s emerald hair now flowing down his back in a wild mane, you see that he’s again taken his god-defying and most wrathful form: Berserker God. You even hear the other fights, at least those within earshot also completely stop. Everyone present recognizing Karn’s power he’s now spent years trying to control. But as he snarls up at you, once more you realize he’s not in there. His mind has once more been overwhelmed by the wrathful might of his full power.

“He just took the same form you had earlier, if a little greener. I don’t see what-“ Ubo-Babidi says, when Karn suddenly blazes up past you. Before you’ve even fully processed it he’s dashed past you, striking Ubo cleanly square in the chest. Your husband’s first blow sends Ubo flying back, the possessor clearly not expecting your husband’s speed to have been so dramatically boosted. “GYAAAAAA!!?”
“Heh, there you are.” you say with a smirk, Karn turning around towards you. But immediately you recognize that he doesn’t actually see you, he only sees a source of divine power to crush. “Karn, wait. It’s me, Me-“
“GRRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” Karn bellows, blitzing towards you immediately and swinging. And despite not being in control of himself, your husband is a lot more experienced than he was the first time he’d went all big and green. Instead of swinging like a mad beast, his punch is precise and lethal. Without any hesitation you raise your guard, his giant fist slamming fully against both of your forearms you’d raised to block the hit. Despite guarding against it his blow sends you flying, tumbling backwards through the sky. The instant you stop, Karn’s already closed the distance again and swings with a crushing overhead left. “RRRRAAAAAAAA!!!”
“Aaaahahahahaa! Your ultimate weapon is a mindless monster?!” Babidi-Ubo taunts as you dodge Karn’s overhead blow with a Su-Ma counterclockwise spin, then backflip under his spinning right backfist. But as you do you kick, your right foot catching his jaw and rocking his head back. As your kick rocks him, Karn sees Ubo-Babidi floating over you both with his arms crossed, and in your husband’s altered mental state he clearly sees red.

“GRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!” Karn roars as his aura violently explodes, blasting you back away from him as he focuses on the possessed Ubo.
“Wait, what?” Babidi-Ubo says, clearly shocked by Karn’s abrupt target switch. And doesn’t have his defenses up, your husband blitzing him and unleashing a powerful combination of the devastating strikes of his form.
>>
>>5034607
While Karn’s on the attack you begin gathering your ki, preparing to support him from a distance as you do best. Gathering your energy overhead you split the giant orb, several dozens of your Warding Eyes firing out from it and begin orbiting all around you. You then pour even more ki into the orb, then launch your Sky Cannon’s orb straight up into the air. But you’re not done with one, firing another four in rapid succession as Karn stays on the attack. While setting up your techniques you can’t help but watch your husband, who uses every ounce of his size and power to his advantage. Every time Babidi tries to raise his possessed body’s arms to block, Karn’s crushing attacks break down Ubo’s defenses and strike painfully. And as your Karn’s relentless attack continues, Babidi clearly becomes more and more frustrated.

“ENOUGH!!” he bellows furiously, after your husband once again rocks him through his defenses. “I have had enough! I will not stand by and-!”
“Fire.” you say while clenching your fist, and whatever Babidi was saying is interrupted as you unleash your first Sky Cannon. He’s caught by complete surprise as a dense beam of energy suddenly drops on his head, sending the wizard-possessed Ubo crashing down planetside and keeping him pinned there for several seconds. But just as the first beam ends, you clench your fist again and fire the second one.
“Why you little!!” he snarls, and is once more flattened by your second beam. Karn looks around wildly, then as you’re holding the second beam he turns and sees you.

“Hey hun, it’s me.” you tell him, smiling at him while continuing to put the pressure on Ubo. “It’s me, Mel.”
“Mmmm! Mrrraaa-! M-Meeeel.” he says, furious expression softening as he recognizes you before him. “Mel. O-ka.”
“That’s right hun.” you say softly, the second Sky Cannon burning out the last of it’s energy as you continue communicating with him. “It’s me.”

He looks at you for several seconds, then nods solemnly once as you see Ubo-Babidi suddenly blazes up from his new home the crater in the ground.

“ENOUGH!! I’ve come too close now to be stopped by a couple of monkeys!” Ubo-Babidi shouts furiously. “I won’t let you stop the resurrection of my Majin Buu!”
“You. Won’t. Win.” Karn says, taking his fighting stance and facing down his possessed friend.
“We’re putting an end to this!” you add, doing the same beside your husband. “Your monster won’t ever be freed!”

Without hesitation you attack, your one hundred eight Warding Eyes all firing simultaneously some firing Death Beams and others spraying your Ki Needles at and around Ubo, leaving him nowhere to dodge away.

“Barrier!” Babidi screeches, a bubble-like shield forming around Ubo’s body and tanking the shots. However, your husband then joins in, taking his much more direct approach.
“RRRAAAAAA!!” Karn roars, swinging a heavy straight right square into Babidi’s shield. Which shatters the magical construct, his fist slamming square into Ubo’s gut.
“I-Impossible!” Babidi-Ubo gasps, Karn following up his strike with a short left uppercut to the chin, a right cross, then a right side kick square in the jaw that launches Ubo’s body back. But you’re ready, raising your right hand and Instant Transmission behind your possessed friend.

“HAAAAA!!” you shout, driving your right elbow into his spine and stopping the backwards flight. Stunned, Ubo isn’t able to react as you spin counterclockwise around to his front to deliver a spinning, dropping right kick to the face that knocks Ubo straight down to the ground as Karn pursues. Ubo flips and lands on all fours, raising just in time to match Karn’s heavy right with one of his own. And with his full attention on your husband, doesn’t see you silently drop down behind him and swing a double hammerfist down on his elbow. Ubo’s arm gives under the combined pressure, your husband charging in and slamming his left fist into the bigger man’s now-open jaw as you frontflip over him. Then with a spin you twist into a turning right kick to the back of Ubo’s head, just as Karn follows his left with a right uppercut to the gut. “HAAAAAAA!!”

Ubo would have flipped, if not for your husband’s follow-up left that cracks Ubo in the nose, snapping his head back just as you’d kept turning and follow up with a left roundhouse to his temple. Your combined assault continues for another minute or so, both you and your husband landing several blows that would have put down a lesser foe for good. Yet Ubo’s body keeps standing, swinging wildly at you both and refusing to go down. You have to hit him with something even more powerful to put the possessed Ubo down for the count!

“HAAAAAA!!” Karn roars, firing another powerful right square into Ubo’s cheek, snapping his head around to his left. Now’s your chance!
“Sorry Ubo.” you mutter, twisting clockwise into a powerful right roundhouse kick. Your heel catches him in the jaw, and with a sickening crack snap his head around fully backwards! You’ll have to go back to Namek to bring him back to life after this.
“Wh-What?” Babidi asks you, facing you despite being behind him. “You...?”
>>
>>5034615
“You can’t possess my friend if he’s no longer alive.” you say, Karn no longer attacking and clearly shocked through his anger as well by what you just did. “I hate it for Ubo, but we’ll just bring him back once this is all over.”
“Once this is over?” Ubo-Babidi asks, grinning maliciously at you as blood pours from his mouth, reaching up and grabbing his head with both hands. “You have no idea how out-of-your-depth you are, filthy monkey.”

And now to your shock, snaps his neck back around to face Ubo before glancing over his opposite shoulder at you.

“But you have proven that this body can’t beat the two of you.” he says, a sudden chill climbing up your spine. “I clearly can’t beat you both with this body, so how about I use his to beat you?!”

Realization strikes as he snarls nastily at you, throwing out his hands towards your husband.

“Bow to me, you mindless beast! Paparra papaa!!” he roars suddenly.
“NOOO!!” you shout, but it’s too late! Tendrils of sinister energy shoot from Ubo’s hands, wrapping around your husband’s head. But to your shock, Karn is completely unaffected! He smirks at you both as you wonder what’s going on, and why it isn’t working for several moments, before you remember what happened decades ago. Towa made him immune to mind control!

“Wh-What? What’s going on?” Babidi-Ubo asks, shocked. “Why can’t I possess a mindless beast like you?”
“He’s not mindless.” you say, feeling smug as he looks between the two of you, clearly panicking at this unexpected turn. “He’s angry. Hey, Chilli: are you ready?”
“Done.” you hear him say, both Karn and Ubo turning to your oldest son in surprise as he stands there, staff and ancient tome in hand. Ubo-Babidi’s eyes widen in shock, clearly recognizing your adult son’s ancient tome.
“Wait, what? Impossible! How did you get that?” Babidi shouts from Ubo’s lips, taking an unconscious, nervous step back. “N-No way!”
“Time to die.” your son tells him, ghostly blade sprouting from his staff. “Death Magic: So-“
“NO!!” Babidi shouts, Ubo’s entire body going limp and dropping to the ground unconscious.
“-ul Cleanse.” your son finishes, and after a second the cursed “M” is erased from your friend’s forehead. Your son then turns, and gives you the message you’ve been waiting for. “I’ve found where Babidi is hiding.”
“Good work.” Karn says, laying his giant hand on Chilli’s shoulder. And despite being twenty, still beams at getting his father’s approval. “Now; let’s end this!”

Hm I see. They found Namek I see. And Berserker god IS possible within the decade...well 9 years.

And it looks like Meloka doesn't have access to Blue yet. Meanwhile, those other Majins seem like clear Time Interference.
>>
What a great intermission, thanks GD.
>>
>>5034638
Uh, two things, Anon.

1. Pretty sure that's Berserker 3, not Berserker God. Namely because it was used against Beerus, and there's no way we'd have the full Berserker God by then.

2. By 'Majin Demons', I think they mean like Dabura, not the Majin race.

Uh Anon. Maybe get your eyes checked before trying to correct people.

>Standing even taller, Karn’s emerald hair now flowing down his back in a wild mane, you see that he’s again taken his god-defying and most wrathful form: Berserker God.

Freeza does have access to Kazuma’s info now, and Beerus will appear again in Age 757, remember? And the Majins, I’ve already had both of them make previous appearances in this quest brought in from other timelines.
As for Meloka, she’s clearly far more determined to master her strongest form before learning a new one.

Pretty sure one of the Majins is Ozotto. We killed one of those at Chilli's wedding, he's not an actual majin.

Wait, but isn't Berserker God something different in SCQ-verse lore? Or is it just that they haven't seen the actual 'Berserker God', so they're calling Berserker 3 that?

I don't know man, now I'm just confused. I thought Berserker God was the blue-r haired version that was even stronger.

Ah I found you, you’d posted just before I dropped the intermission and missed you. Anyways:
>Either way, it's weird living in a time where Toei keeps favoring things that Akira made as subversion for the sake of drilling his point of "less is more" and "stop relying on transformations
Who’d have thought people’d cling to something Toriyama made just to discard while making his point?
>>5034597
Oh they absolutely brought Gogeta back just for the hype. And I’m absolutely certain it worked to draw more people in to watch the movie.
>>5035490
It certainly has.
>>
>>5035526
I mean if they were going all-in with Broly they might as well make Gogeta canon since Akira originally planned for him to be in the buu arc till Toei wanted to use him for fusion reborn. Hence the sudden explanation of potara and Vegeto. I'm still miffed by the time limit btw. If they wanted to work around the Perma fusion then they could've just used Magic or Spiritual mumbo jumbo for it. To which they inevitably did with Spirit Fusion but I'm diverging too much with my initial point.

Gogeta and Broly brought the hype and were utilized well for the medium that they're in. The only problem fundamentally falls under getting the two to conveniently inconvenience AND somehow avoid using the higher-level power-ups like SSBE or Ultra Instinct despite the situation fitting the prerequisite.

Or better yet they could just scale down the power level and not fellatio the Broly fans into thinking he's Universe 7's Jiren. The only difference is that he has Saiyan hax on top of his own broly ones.
>>
>>5035526
I also wish Toriyama wasn't so lazy that he discarded intrinsic things like Saiyan's tails for laziness. Would've really helped keep Saiyans from being perceived as "Better humans". Less he actually gave humans the bone and actually have them further develop their own gimmicks and/or power-ups to subvert the transformation-heavy Saiyans. Hell, I'd settle for Kaioken working for them due to hysterical strength/adrenaline strength.

Anyway, there are things like SS3 and Grade 3 that I do agree with for his less is more mentality but they're also not unsalvagable. As we saw with Frieza, GT Goku with the tail, Manga SS3 Goku, or even Heroes with the Mastered/Full Power" variant that they can be fine-tuned and honed to satisfying levels.

People can like what they like and that's fine. So seeing what they like only get treated properly in official fanfiction like Heroes is a bittersweet melancholy that I can get.

Even if I think they're milking it a little too much (Looks at not SS3 Hearts)
>>
>>5035533
Gogeta vs Broly has been a thing since what, Tenkaichi 3? The first one’s opening still the best, and one of if not -the- best DBZ game opening ever.
>AND somehow avoid using the higher-level power-ups like SSBE or Ultra Instinct despite the situation fitting the prerequisite
Uses Manga canon for the movie, not Anime. And he’s not U7’s Jiren, because Jiren WORKED for his power. Sure it was all offscreen, but he didn’t go from Less than a Super Saiyan to stronger than Super Saiyan God in a single fight without Super Saiyan himself.
>>5035543
>Looks at not SS3 Hearts
I’m CLEARLY behind on Heroes, Hearts is back? Didn’t Gogeta/Hit/Jiren erase his ass?
>>
>>5035546
Manga had Vegeta obtained SSBE and Goku UI, they're different in design to a degree sure but honestly if backed enough of a corner they would've pulled those powers out.

As for Jiren, I meant that they make him as this insurmountable embodiment of raw power and absolute strength with limitless potential. Jiren is more endearing in the sense he worked hard for his gains and didn't have to be blessed into a race hotwired for speedrunning cultivation and growth. AND being a mutant on top of it Though the manga gave Jiren the same improvement gimmick as Hit and ironically Super Broly.

>>5035546
Hearts were only killed and ended up imprisoned in hell till he was broken free. He retained enough of the Ultimate Godslayer power that his Super form is tinted with the power. So his not SS3 upgrade is fundamentally going to be the full utilization of that residual power.
>>
>>5035546
>Gogeta vs Broly has been a thing since what, Tenkaichi 3?
Budokai 3, actually. The opening cinematic had Gogeta vs Broly near the end and it was the hypest shit my childhood self had ever seen.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The third round of matches came and went, the only noteworthy match being the half Ctarl-Ctarl Kaliflor vs Celleri. Knowing she was outmatched Celleri played her fight smart and managed to keep pace with her vastly more powerful opponent for a time before being sent from the ring. The rest of the fights were even more one sided, bringing Kaliflor Clan-Clan against Broly in the first quarterfinal match where both contestants unleashed their full powers. Using two Power Balls to transform, Kaliflor took on a hybrid form of the Ctarl-Ctarl’s beast mode and an Oozaru, but by unleashing not one but TWO Event Horizons down on the girl Broly claimed the victory. But destroyed the arena in the process, Chilli stepping in and using his Chaos magic to somehow fix the arena. Next came Kakarot and Tatsu, your son’s skill allowing him to keep pace with the stronger boy for awhile. But as we rejoin Karn, you’ve realized Tatsu isn’t the one in control of his body anymore. And you’re not the only one who’s noticed, Freeza threatening whoever’s “possessing” your son.

“I am Tatsu, and I am not as well.” Tomitsu replies, meeting Freeza’s cold glare without backing up. You do notice his legs trembling a bit, and to be fair you can’t blame him. “I’m Tatsu, but more, the culmination of Tatsu and Tomi’s abilities.”
“Culmination?” he asks, glancing towards your son’s identical twin and seeing the same expression on her face. “I need a better explanation than this.”

Tomitsu taps the side of Tatsu’s head, the four of them no doubt sharig a quick telepathic conversation. Freeza then nods without another word to your son, and addresses both you and King Vegeta directly.

“So, three souls within two bodies. Should I allow a two versus one here?” Freeza asks you both. “Karn? Vegeta?”
“Two versus one?” Vegeta replies, disconnecting from you both and eyes narrowing towards Tomitsu as if focusing on something. He then rejoins the mental link, looking more curious than confused. “I see. The twins created a third sentient personality by repeatedly combining their minds over the past several years. I think we should allow this.”
“Really? I had the opposite opinion.” Freeza replies. “Outside interference isn’t allowed.”
“But it isn’t outside.” Vegeta counters. “It is a part of his own mind, not any outside influence or help.”
“Which brings us to you.” Freeza thinks to you. “Should Tomitsu be permitted to compete in Tatsu’s place?”

“I say we should ask Kakarot.” you tell them both. “Let him decide what sort of fight he’ll have.”
“Are you sure?” Freeza asks you. “He could put your son at a disadvantage to win.”
“Excellent.” King Vegeta answers, then reaches out to Kakarot himself. “Kakarot, this is your king. So, we have a question for you.”
“We?” he replies aloud, Freeza nodding to him before also speaking telepathically.
“Your opponent has, for a lack of a better term two souls.” Freeza tells him. “And he just switched souls from Tatsu to Tomitsu.”
“Oooooh!” he replies, telepathically. “So that’s why his power suddenly shot up!”

“Exactly. So we’re giving you the choice.” you tell him. “You can either fight Tomitsu, and live with whatever the battle’s result is. Or battle Tatsu alone, without Tomitsu’s help. It’s your call, since we hadn’t made any rule for this situation.”
“I’ll fight!” he shouts aloud, clenching his fists and raising up to his full height. “I’ll fight you, Tatsu or Tomitsu or whoever you are. I’ll never turn down a fight!”
“Very well. This fight shall continue!!” Freeza calls aloud to the roaring cheers of the crowd, nodding slightly and backing off. “Fighters, take your stances!”

“I’m not backing down!” Kakarot shouts, Ascended aura blazing as he takes his defensive stance. Tomitsu takes a more open one, clearly either baiting Kakarot or readying themself to charge in. “I’m not gonna lose!”
“Show me everything you’ve got!” Tomitsu replies, both fighters’ bodies tensing expectantly. “GO!”

“I didn’t think he’d go for the more difficult fight.” Freeza muses to you telepathically as both fighters explode forward, forearms crashing together as the crowd cheers. “If he wanted to win, battling Tatsu would have been a more sure-bet. I wonder why?”

Well? How do you reply?
>It’s about pushing themselves to their limits, and seeing how much stronger they’ve become since they last fought
>He’s here for a good fight among friends, not some worthless title and easy victories

“It’s about pushing themselves to their limits.” you tell him, as both fighters disengage then immediately dash back in and cross-counter each other. “They’re warriors, here battling to see how much stronger they’ve become since they last fought.”
“I’ll never understand you Saiyans.” Freeza replies, shaking his head and chuckling as the two young warriors continue to battle. Kakarot narrowly ducks a powerful punch from Tomitsu, and counters with a devastating right gut punch. But as he tries capitalizing on the opening, Tomitsu flips back away and kicks him square on the chin with his left.

“Tch!” Kakarot seethes, planting his feet and flying right back after your son. Who, as soon as his feet are planted, blitzes back towards Kakarot. The two youths slam their fists together, the shockwaves knocking each other flipping back away. Tomitsu recovers first, and near-instantly closes the distance as Kakarot is still flipping. Before he knows what’s happening, Tomitsu grabs both of his ankles! “Wh-Wha-?!”

Before Kakarot can recover Tomitsu slams him down back-first, then stomps down with his right foot square at Kakarot’s face. Who narrowly dodges the blow, rolling back to his feet just in time to duck under your son’s follow-up turning left kick. As he does Kakarot sweeps out, knocking Tomitsu’s leg out from under him as both fighters drop to the stage floor facing each other. Both fighters quickly right themselves, each taking the opposite sides of the arena and staring each other down.

“Haaa, haaa, haaa. Not bad.” Kakarot says, a grin coming to his face. “Now this is a fight!”
“Been wanting to fight you myself.” Tomitsu replies, retaking his more open stance as Kakarot’s still recovering his breath a bit from the exchange. “Now, let’s keep going! Show me everything you’ve got!”
“I won’t LOSE!!” Kakarot bellows, aura surging before he launches himself forward. Yet as he closes in Tomitsu steps in towards Kakarot, but steps outside his punch. Kakarot’s fist narrowly misses as Tomitsu spins counterclockwise, and delivers a savage backhanded elbow square into his face. The heavy blow flips Kakarot backwards, spinning fully once before landing face-first.

“Gotcha now.” Tomitsu says, grabbing his foe by the ankle and leaping straight into the air. “Come on, we’re not done yet!”
“Goo Tatsu!!” Maz cheers as his older sibling pitches Kakarot straight down at the out-of-bounds area around the ring. “Goooo!!”
“You can win!” Kayle adds in.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaa!!” Karn Jr shouts, waving his arms wildly as Kakarot flips back, and to your and probably most of the crowd’s surprise, suddenly fires a beam downwards from his feet! “Aaaaoooooo!!”

“Oh. Well, that’s different.” Meloka says as Kakarot blasts back at Tomitsu, slamming his forehead square into your kid’s. “Might have to try something with that.”
“Gaah! Hrrraaaaaaaa!!!” Tomitsu roars, recovering and swinging back. Without hesitation your son swings his forehead down, smashing their heads back together. This time Kakarot is knocked back, Tomitsu immediately following up with a head kick. Kakarot recovers in time to raise his guard, blocking the right turning kick with his left forearm. Kakarot fires back with a straight right, Tomitsu deflecting that with his left forearm and fires back with a right of his own.

“They’re both doing surprisingly well.” Nappa says, as the two children continue throwing attacks back and forth at full speed. “Looks like Tatsu can keep up for a lot longer now. But, I still think Kakarot’s going to take this.”
“Not likely. I think Tomitsu’s going to take this one.” Meloka says, you seeing Nappa’s confusion. He doesn’t know about Tatsu and Tomi’s third personality Tomitsu.

Ah, and I do understand that we're rooting against our kid, but I see Karn as the kinda guy that's serious about assessing fights, even if he's going against his own children in that assessment. And Tomitsu isn't as used to coming out and doing stuff as Kakarot is at using his shit, so he's gonna be wasting more power, also, it's *Goku,* voting against him tends to be a fools errand, no matter how outmatched he seems.
>>
>>5036210
“Tomitsu is powerful, but Kakarot’s power is far more stable.” you say, turning to Nappa. “If this fight goes on much longer, Kakarot will be able to outlast him.”
“Stable? Tomitsu?” Nappa asks, only getting more and more confused. “What?”
“Okay, let me explain.” you say as the two youth continue throwing punches and kicks at each other. You tell him about the psychic link between the two oldest twins, and how they can combine their minds when linked and touching. As Kakarot and Tomitsu continue giving this fight their all, you explain how as they continued doing so that linked personality began to take on a life of it’s own. Bound to their bodies, but able to flit between them and occasionally able to manifest in one body or the other.

“So what you’re telling me, is your twins made a kid of their own?” he asks, the way he says it sounding off, but you reckon not entirely wrong. They did seemingly create a whole new soul from their own after all.
“That’s not...Entirely wrong?” you answer, all of you turning immediately back to the fight as you sense it. Tomitsu’s energy plummets, reverting to only Tatsu for a moment after blocking Kakarot’s punch. “Looks like his time’s almost up.”

“Tch! GrrRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!” Tomitsu roars, aura exploding and knocking Kakarot back. But from his expression, Kakarot clearly felt that dip in power as well, putting his hands together and forming a small ball of ki between them. But Tomitsu backs up, throwing his arms wide and swiftly gathering a massive amount of ki in both hands. “I’m ending this right now! SUPER TWIN CANNON!!”

Throwing both arms forward towards Kakarot Tomitsu fires, twin golden beams of extraordinary power blazing towards the son of Bardock. Who fires that small orb of energy forward, which expands out just before impact and slams into Tomitsu’s beams. The two colossal attacks crash into each other, forcing each other into a standstill.

“It’s been fun, I’d like to fight you again sometime.” Kakarot says, the two attacks locked dead even. “But you’re out of time. That new power of yours is done.”
“Like! Hell!” Tomitsu snarls, but you can feel it. Tomitsu’s energy keeps flickering between theirs and Tatsu’s, Kakarot’s orb swiftly overwhelming Tomitsu’s beams. “I! Won-Huh?”
“It’s over.” you say, feeling Tomitsu’s energy vanish leaving only Tatsu’s radiating. “Nice try kiddo.
“HAAAAAAAA!!” Kakarot roars, his colossal blast dropping down on Tatsu. He catches it in his hands, but it’s clear he’s not strong enough to force it back. The giant orb crashes down onto the newly-repaired stage, slamming Tatsu down under it. But then you feel it: Tomitsu’s not done!

cont
>>
>>5036340
“HRRRAAAAAAAA!!” Tatsu roars, voice shifting back into Tomitsu’s as his powerlevel once more soars. And to your surprise, he begins lifting the giant blast. And with a final, triumphant bellow from deep inside, Tomitsu hurls the giant energy ball back into the sky. Kakarot dodges the tremendous blast easily, it soaring off nearly into space before detonating. Tomitsu’s left standing, chest heaving exhaustedly as his arms just drop down limply by his sides. “I-I did it.”
“Wide open.” Kakarot says as he appears behind your son, swinging an elbow into the base of his spine. You can tell Tatsu’s out immediately, reverting to his base form as he flops unconscious to the ground. “Sorry, but you left yourself wide open there.”

“Tatsu has lost his transformation, meaning Kakarot is the winner!” Freeza calls to the roaring crowd, Kakarot sighing out and dropping down to his hands and knees exhaustedly. He stays there for a few moments, trying to recover a bit before rising back to his feet. Without prompting he lifts the unconscious Tatsu, and tiredly drags the both of them towards Caulifla. “And now, time for the next match! Chaya versus Parsla, fighters take the stage!”

You see your daughter say something, patting the younger girl’s back before rising to her feet, and walks directly to the stage. You see Parsla take several deep breaths, then rise to her feet and follow Chaya onto the stage.

“Both fighters, take your forms!” Freeza says, looking to them both expectantly.
“Go ahead.” Chaya says to the younger warrior. “Show me everything you’ve got.”
“O-Okay.” Parsla says nervously, clenching her fists. “No hard feelings, r-right?”
“Only if you hold back.” Chaya tells her with a smirk. “I’ll be mad if you don’t take this seriously.”
“Right!” she shouts, preparing herself to transform.
“This is going to be good, I can feel it.” King Vegeta says, glancing between you and Nappa. “Wonder who’s first kid will take this win?”
“Chaya’s got this.” Meloka says immediately. She can’t lose, unless she seriously underestimates her opponent.”

You find yourself unsure about how this fight’ll go. So you just keep your mouth shut, thinking everything over and watch the fight unfold. Chaya’s stronger and absolutely hates loosing in front of her fans, but she has been fighting almost solely for entertaining others. Meanwhile Parsla’s shown her power when raging against that Oozaru, she’s not one to underestimate. Whoever wins, this is probably going to be an incredible-

“HRRRYAAAAAAAAA!!” Parsla bellows, radiating with energy as her black hair stands up on end. The young girl’s muscles noticeably bulk up, then her hair blazes golden as gully transforma with a soul-wrenching scream. “GRRRRYAAAAAA!!!!”
“Yeah, go for it!” Chaya shouts as Nappa and Tunnip’s daughter rages. Her power continues climbing, higher and higher as she screams. Then Chaya crosses her arms, golden aura blazing as she wordlessly Ascends. “Let’s do this!”
“Both fighters ready? Freeza asks, then drops his raised arm. “Begin!”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=Ese6CsPag74

“RRRRRAAAAAAA!!” Parsla roars, immediately gathering ki in each hand then exploding off the ground towards Chaya. Your daughter just stands there relaxed, not moving until Parsla swings her right hand towards Chaya. “HRRAAAA!!”
“Too slow.” Chaya taunts, dodging by spinning clockwise around Parala’s energy and slamming her in the back of the head with a roundhouse from her right. “You gotta do better than that!”
“RRAAAAA!!” Parsla roars, spinning around and swinging a wild left backfist at your daughter. Chaya dodges with a backflip, kicking her in the chest then chin in a one-two with both feet as she flips away. Parsla’s kicked into a full backflip, landing on all fours and immediately blitzing back towards Chaya with a snarl. Your daughter keeps standing with her arms crossed, and as Parsla dashes in she fires her left hand’s orb at her.

“HAAAA!!” Chaya shouts, firing off a left turning kick and sendinng Parsla’s blast flying sky-high. Parsla continues her charge while Chaya spins, your daughter casually backflipping over her foe’s charge. Parsla slides to a stop, turning just in time to see Chaya land on her toes.

“GRRRRR! RRRAAAAAAAA!!!” Parsla roars, immediately rushing right back at your daughter. She doesn’t even uncross her arms, instead blocking Parsla’s wild punch with her right shin.
“C’mon, you can do better than that!” Chaya taunts as Parsla swings wildly, blocking dozens of her opponent’s powerful attacks with only one leg. “Is this really everything you’ve got? I know you’re stronger than
this!”
“GRRRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” Parsla roars, continuing to swing relentlessly at your daughter. Yet it soon becomes clear to everyone, even those that can’t sense energy, that Parsla’s clearly outmatched. But you can sense Chaya’s more than three times as powerful as Parsla. But as she clearly grows more and more frustrated with being unable to hit Chaya, you feel her power climbing. And with a growling roar she unleashes! “GRRR! RRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

“SHI-!” Chaya shouts, raising her crossed arms and blocking the sudden wild beam from Parsla’s mouth. The Wrathful Saiyan’s wide blast seemingy consumes your daughter entirely, Chaya disappearing for several moments until the attack ends. “Heh, that’s better!”
“Is it just me?” King Vegeta asks, not taking his eyes from the fight. “Or is she getting stronger?”
“I sense it too.” you hear your old man Tatsu reply, glancing over to him. “Something’s building in her. If Chaya doesn’t stop her soon, this might get out-of-hand quickly.”

“I agree.” you say with a sigh, focusing on your Energy Body and dispersing it. Your emerald glow vanishes, Tatsu looking at you with his one good eye confused. “Better to be safe than sorry.”
“Karn? What are you doing hun?” Meloka asks you confused. “Something wrong?”
“No. At least, not yet.” you answer her. “But I’ve got a bad feeling about this. You feel it too, right?”
“It does feel a bit ominous.” Meloka relents after a moment. “You think Chaya will be okay?”
“If she hurries up and ends this, yeah.” you say, and almost as soon as you do the dust clears, revealing Chaya standing there with her gloves still smoking. But as she lowers them, you see she still isn’t taking Parsla entirely serious yet.

“Hey, now that’s more like it!” your daughter says, dropping her arms before actually taking her fighting stance. “But you’re not done yet, are you?”
“Rrrrrr! GRRRR! HRRRYAAAAAA!!” Parsla bellows, energy surging wildly around her as her strength continues to build. You’d estimate she’s gone up from 1/3 to 1/2 of Chaya’s power already, and it’s still climbing. Again she dashes in headlong at Chaya, your daughter bracing herself. “RRRAAAAAAA!!”
“HAAAAA!!” Chaya roars back, deflecting Parsla’s right with her left forearm before driving her right fist square into the younger girl’s face. The heavy punch sends Parsla back and crashing to the ground, tumbling backwards before sliding to a stop on all fours. Yet before she can get up Chaya’s closed the gap, left leg drawn back and kicking her foe full-force square in the chin.

“GYAAAAAA!!” Parsla roars, equal parts rage and pain as Chaya’s kick sends her sky-high. Chaya gathers her ki between her hands, then fires the large sphere up after her foe. Parsla sees it coming and snarls, driving a fist into the orb. Her fist doesn’t connect square, the orb shooting out past the girl’s right arm. Your daughter doesn’t seem to be worried, and as the orb stops less than a dozen yards past Parsla you get why. She used the move learned from her mother, the Sky Cannon. Which highlights the main difference between the two: Parsla’s like a rampaging wild animal, while Chaya’s fully in control of herself, able to plan, and even set traps. “RAAAAAAAAA!!”
“Fire.” Chaya says, clenching her outstretched fist and firing the beam. Her Sky Cannon orb erupts with power, the golden beam smashing into Parsla’s unguarded back.

cont

>>5036581
Caught completely by surprise, Parsla gets blasted by the Sky Cannon. Caught by the beam she’s sent straight down towards your daughter, who’s also gathering ki into her free hand. Then as Parsla’s crossed roughly half the distance, Chaya unleashes her second attack with a roar.

“HRRAAAAAAAA!!” she roars, firing another wave of ki from her hand up at Parsla. Who sees it coming, but is unable to pull herself off the Sky Cannon to avoid the incoming blast as well. And Chaya’s blast connects, trapping Parsla there between her beams. “Is this all you’ve got? Dig deep, and show me what you can really do!”
“GAAAAAAAAA!!” Parsla cries out in pain, Chaya’s attacks pressing her from both sides and slowly crushing her between them. But her power still continues to rise, her power now up to fully three-quarters of Chaya’s own. At this rate, you aren’t sure her power growth is going to stop. “GRRRRRR! GRRRRAAAAAAAA!!!”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=cXO3mAe5aPQ

“Shit!” you say, setting the young twins aside in your seat as you stand, then throwing your hands forward unleash your own ki. “Super Barrier!!”
“GRRRYAAAAAAAA!!!” Parsla roars, energy spiking as energy begins to pour from her body. Her energy surges out around her, rapidly forming a solid, dense dome of ki that blasts both beams back. The sphere grows rapidly as Parsla continuously pours her energy into the attack, which quickly reaches it’s limits. And suddenly it begins firing blasts out wildly, explosive balls of ki shooting out frim her shield in all directions as even it can’t fully contain her power within. Immediately your Super Barrier comes under fire, you feeling each individual shot striking your barrier’s inside. “HRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

“Tch!” you exhale through gritted teeth, each shot feeling more powerful than the last. But you have to hold on until this ends, else Parsla could cause a LOT of collateral damage at her level.

“Like hell!” you snarl, pouring more energy into your shielding dome. Your emerald shield blazes with light, hardening and reinforcing itself against the wild rain of blasts. But as you hold the rampaging energy of Parsla at bay, you see Chaya’s got a plan. As she dances around the raining explosive orbs, you see her ki gathering around her right fist. But not just as a ball, she spins the energy. Faster and faster, forming it into a cone around her fist that comes to an impossibly sharp point. You realize what she’s about to do, and in her shoes would most likely try doing the same thing. “C’mon Chaya, you’ve got this.”

“Hey! PARSLA!!” Chaya shouts as her energy blazes up around her arm. “This ends now! CHAMPION’S LANCE!!”

Chaya explodes up off the ground, energy forming a tightly-spiraling cone around her from her fist as she charges. Parsla’s shots that do strike her energy are deflected, sent careening around until they strike another blast or your shield and explode. Chaya’s Piercing Fist styled attack punches cleanly through the dome of energy surrounding Parsla, and after a moment your daughter shoots clean through the other side! And before she can stop slams into your Super Barrier, piercing straight through it as well. But a moment later, before you can reseal the hole, Parsla’s gigantic orb erupts!

“GYAAAAAAAA!!” Parsla cries out in pain as the orb detonates, energy blasting out from it towards your shield on all sides.
“Dammit!!” you snarl, bracing your feet as the unexpectedly massive surge of power slams into your Barrier on all sides simultaneously. You feel the ground crack beneath your feet as the weight of all that power slams onto you at once, yet you manage to shoulder that entire burden yourself.
“WOAH! Daddy look!” Kayle shouts, you unable to avoid glancing back at her. You see your daughter pointing at something above you. And looking up, towards the top of your dome you see it: Parsla’s energy is blasting straight up through the hole, turning that wildfire of energy into a focused beam, shooting straight up from New Salda off into the void of space. It continues for nearly a minute before the massive stockpile of energy finally burns itself out.

cont
>>
>>5036664
“Gaaaah!” you sigh out tiredly, letting your giant Super Barrier end as the last of Parsla’s energy had burned out. You see the young girl, having reverted back to her base form drop out of the sky, dropping towards the charred arena floor right by Freeza. The area roughly six feet around him is seemingly untouched, no doubt shielded by Freeza’s own powerful energy. But before she can crash down Chaya swoops down, catching her opponent in her arms.
“Parsla is unable to continue. The winner is Chaya!” he declares, the stunned crowd staying silent for a moment before they all begin cheering. Holding the bleeding Parsla with one hand she waves to them with the other, and despite what you just went through seems to be completely unharmed. Unlike her opponent. “And now, for the final match if the quarterfinals! Caulifla, versus Chilli! Fighters, please come take the stage!”

“Just a moment!” she replies, rushing to Chaya and having Triumph heal the worst of the damage Chaya’s Piercing Fist varient caused. A sizeable chunk is missing from Parsla’s side, no doubt from where Chaya hit her. An excellent shot, for someone firing on a ally they don’t wish to kill and not an enemy trying to kill them. After a few seconds Parsla’s been healed, the only signs she was in battle being the damage to her armor. “Alright! I’m ready!”
“Let’s both do our best.” Chilli says to her, your kids both walking up on the stage together. You have absolutely no idea who’s going to win this one, but no matter what this is going to be a good one!

True. This one would have caused exponentially more damage to the spectators.

Well she has Triumph, which Chilli can’t see nor injure. And her divine magic, which is basically a counter to most of his own with Great Magic Barrier. Chilli’s main advantage in this fight, ironically enough, is raw power.

Whether or not Chilli recognizes just how badly he needs to end it quick, I doubt Caulifla is gonna make it easy for him.
If he clinches a win here, he's definitely not winning the next fight.
That said, I don't think it matters to him since he's already proven himself.
Sidenote, are any Saiyans in the stands even mildly interested in magic now that Chilli is making reality his bitch?

I think the concept is based on moves like the One Inch Punch, Fa Jin, and many other moves operating on the similar concept of bypassing natural defenses and resistances. TheFutae no Kiwami is one of the biggest anime examples of real-life concepts. Then there's the added weaponization of Pressure points. I don't disagree that if you hit someone with enough brute force that you could do the same thing. But the key point is the power and force of the attack are being transmitted in a more efficient method and/or conduct. Like how >>5031725 mentioned. But what is really nonsensical is his ki being able to use his time powers to bypass things. Even if it's just dimension-hopping instead, it's still nonsense.

The crowd roars as both your children take the stage, the first time in this tournament two of your children have faced off. And the crowd couldn’t have asked for a potentially better fight. They’re cheering quite enthusiastically as your son and daughter take the stage, you tiredly sweeping Maz and Kayle up out of your seat and sitting back down, setting them both down on your lap.

“That was sooo cool!!” Maz shouts excitedly, bouncing up and down. “You’re super strong Daddy!”
“Yeah yeah!” Kayle adds. “You held back all those explosions, an’ then the big one too!”
“Your father is quite powerful.” King Vegeta tells both of your kids, who both turn to him. “Make sure you both train hard, and one day you’ll be just as strong.”
“Fighters, take your forms!” Freeza calls, and Caulifla immediately Ascends in a flash of golden light. Lightning dances around her body, as Triumph appears once more behind her.
“KIIIIIIIIII!!” the golden Stand bellows, but only you and Okira can see it.
“Mmmmm.” she vocalizes, you glancing aside and seeing her eyes focused on Triumph.
“All out, huh?” Chilli asks, clenching his bare fists. “Alright, then I’ll do the same! HAAAA!!”

Ascending as well, sparks dancing around both children, you realize you’ve never actually seen the two of them fighting against each other. And have no idea how this match will go. Chilli’s roughly three and a half times stronger, but since both children use such a wide assortment of techniques and different powers not reliant on their own physical strength, you sincerely doubt that’ll be what makes a difference today.

“Go Chilli!” Kayle shouts, cheering on her brother.
“Go Cauli!” Maz cheers, both twins turning confused towards each other. “Cauli’s gonna win, just watch!”
“Nu-uhh! Chilli’s super-cool magic will!” Kayle shouts back, the two getting a little heated.
“I’m not sure who’s gonna win.” you say, patting them both on the head simultaneously. “So why don’t you cheer them both on?”
“YEAH!!” they shout excitedly, turning from each other and back to the stage, cheering their siblings’ names. But that dors bring yp a good question: who will win? Both of your kids are powerful, but who do you assess stands the stronger chance of victory?

Well? Which one has the greater advantage, and why?
>Chilli. He’s far more mature than his age would suggest, is a much more creative fighter, and his magic can even turn back time
>Caulifla. Triumph is immune to Chilli’s attacks, can shield her from harm, and is completely undetectable to his senses. Not to mention her own magical abilities she’s shown off so far
>Unsure, both have their own advantages and disadvantages against each other. They’re too close, at least from what you’re familiar with to call decisively

So if a Stand can only be damaged by another Stand then Triumph will be immune to everything Chilli may try to throw at it including any magic. However it was magic that Mechikabura used to put a seal on Karn's Stand that caused Divine Dragon Force to be unable to turn Mechi's own energy against himself with the eraser attack.

It's hard to predict how these different powers that children have will affect each other.

“They both have their advantages, but Caulifla has the edge.” you think to yourself. Were it simply an ordinary contest of physical power, Chilli would have this fight hands down. Being three times stronger and faster than his sister, plus having the wider variety of ki techniques would mean he’d have better options. But neither of these kids are ordinary. Both can wield magic, which is already insane to you. But since they both can use it, you can’t give either one the asvantage for that. Instead, Caulifla has the single greatest decider in this fight: Triumph. Her Stand is immune to any sort of damage Chilli can throw out, imperceptible, and it’s flames could cause some serious damage despite being a healing Stand. With Triumph by her side, you don’t think Chilli can best her easily. He’ll have to work overtime to secure this win.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=CirGRBREecQ

“Both fighters ready?” Freeza asks, raising his arm. Then drops it, shouting clearly. “BEGIN!!”
“HAAAAA!!” your son roars, surprising you by forgoing all manner of fancy tricks and attacks. Instead he throws both arms forward, and fires powerful twin energy waves at his sister.
“TRIUMPH!!” she shouts, her Stand landing and crossing it’s wings before her, shielding your daughter from the blasts. His energy waves strike her Stand’s wings, but are deflected harmlessly around her. But this seems to be what Chilli wanted, your son dropping the attack and slapping the arena with his right hand.

“Crystal Magic: Paledrake’s Lair!!” he calls as his hand slaps the arena, a layer of crystals immediately begins growing on it out from his palm. The instant his beam ends, Triumph unfurls it’s wings, revealing Caulifla standing there holding what looks to be a bow and arrow both made of lightning.
“Fire!” she calls, loosing the lightning arrow at her brother. Who doesn’t even flinch, two crystals as big around as he is rising up in an “X”, taking the shot. Which shatters the two, but leaves Chilli and his new arena floor both completely unscratched. He immediately retaliates, spreading his arms then claps once. And to both Caulifla’s left and right walls of jagged spikes erupt from the ground, surging towards her. Realizing the danger of remaining put she immediately kicks off the ground, flying nearly double the height of those walls just in case. The two crystals slam together, forming a dome on the arena floor that, had she been caught in it, you aren’t sure would have been able to escape. Chilli’s really demonstrating his ability to control a battlefield today.

cont
>>
>>5037004
“Nice try! Here, take this!!” she shouts, muttering something to herself a moment then creating a massive crackling lightning bolt in her hand. This one feels different than her other spells, more primal and furious somehow. Chilli clearly feels it too, as the moment she throws it down he doesn’t even try to block. Instead he attempts to dash under it, yet it’s too fast. Despite dodging the bolt itself, he still gets clipped by several of the smaller, arcing bolts as it hits, shocking your son and sending him tumbling. He crashes against the crystal dome he’d made moments earlier, slapping his palm against it.

“Crystal Magic: Paledrake’s Roar!!” he calls, the dome morphing before your eyes into a dragon’s head!? Which opens it’s mouth and bellows, firing a pale blue, almost white beam of energy directly into the sky. Directly at Caulifla.
“TRIUMPH!!” she shouts panickedly, her Stand again shielding her from the hit. However, this time his beam isn’t simply deflected. As the pale beam strikes her Stand’s crossed wings, crystals begin forming across it’s surface! Several seconds later, as the beam finally ends, you, and clearly the audience judging from the surprised noises you hear around you can see her Stand’s wings have been encased in crystal! Trapping it in place, and binding it’s wings together! “Wh-Wait what?!”
“Sorry sis, but your Stand isn’t going to win you this fight.” he says, panting and rising back to his feet while lifting his right arm towards her Stand. Then with a definite crushing motion, closes his fist and calls out. “Crystallize!”

The crystals covering Triumph’s wings begin spreading, rapidly covering her entire Stand within a few seconds. And once it’s completely encased it drops from the sky, landing inside his crystal dragon head’s mouth. Which bites down, holding it in place.

“I may not be able to hurt it.” he says proudly, that blast clearly having taken a lot out of him. But to remove her Stand from the equation just may have been worth it. “But that doesn’t mean I can’t beat it. Now, you ready?”

And as he says this, Chilli once more takes his fighting stance, while Caulifla simply looks down between them dumbfounded. Ever since her Stand hatched, it’s been by her side. To have it taken away and rendered helpless like this must be devastating to her confidence. This might be the end of the fight.

What do you do?

Nodding to yourself, you say nothing and simply watch, waiting to see how this fight will turn out. Chilli’s doing very well, but Caulifla needs to learn from this one on her own. She can’t rely exclusively on her Stand to carry her against a stronger opponent, and it’s better she learns that now in a friendly match.

“N-No way... Triumph...” Caulifla says, you able to see her body trembling even from down here. She then turns her face towards your son, and you feel a shiver run up your spine at the look of pure rage on your daughter’s face. “You took away my Triumph. Now I’m gonna take away your magic!”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=hFRJClaMQZA

“Wh-What?” Chilli says, taking a step back as he’s clearly concerned. But can she do that? Can Caulifla actually stop someone’s magic? But as she takes her chime in hand and begins muttering once again, kneeling midair, Chilli’s clearly worried she can actually do it. So he pulls back his right hand, forming a lance of his crystals, and readying himself to throw it. But Caulifla’s faster. “Crystal Magic: Crystal-!”

“SILENT!!” Caulifla shouts the last word, ringing her chime as a purple magic circle appears around her. As it does her voice cuts off immediately, and so does Chilli’s. His crystals in hand shatter, vanishing as if they never were and leaving him unable to speak. He tries exclaiming in surprise, but can’t make any sounds from his mouth. He looks down at his hands, too distracted to notice Caulifla charging right for him. She roars, slamming her right fist square into his face and sending Chilli smashing straight down into the arena floor. She roars furiously, and begins unleashing a furious ground-and-pound on her downed brother, swinging more than a dozen times before Chilli’s energy explodes, blasting her up off of him with an Explosive Wave. The crowd roars, none louder than Megumin as Chilli rises back up.

“Don’t give up hun! You can do it!!” Megumin cheers, her husband staggering back up to his feet. He tries snapping, yet to his clear surprise her antimagic spell blocks it’s power as well, not appearing. Chilli then clenches his fists, golden aura surging, and blitzes up after her. He roars silently, swinging a heavy right that Caulifla dodges with her Su Ma. Spinning outside her brother’s attack she doesn’t retaliate, instead gathering her ki and anticipating his next stike. As his fist misses Chilli then spins into a back left roundhouse, Caulifla backflipping away under it. As she reorients, however, she slams her wrists together and unleashes her power.

“FINAL FLASH!!” she mouths, unleashing a tremendous golden wave of ki at her brother. Chilli’s shocked by the sudden blast, and unable to use his magic crosses his arms to block the attack. You sense it as the beam blasts your son back, sending him flying sky-high. After twentyish seconds she ends the blast to the roars of the crowd, chest heaving as she drops her arms. You see her start dropping straight down out of the air, landing on the stage and dropping to all fours tiredly as the purple magic circle surrounding her body quickly fading. If if faded from Caulifla, then no doubt it did the same around Chilli as well. But why hasn’t he come back down yet?

And then you see it! A crystal begins rising from the ground behind Caulifla, you recognizing his unique teleportation as it shaping itself into your son’s form. A second later it shatters, revealing Chilli back on the stage.

“Wha-?!” Cauli shouts, trying to turn around but she’s to slow. Chilli grabs her in a chokehold from behind, locking her head in his grasp.
“Sorry sis. But I need you to take a nap.” he says, your daughter reaching out towards her entrapped Stand desperately. And then you see it! What seems to be a small flame begins burning. Which then grows into an inferno, blazing up through the crystals. Chilli doesn’t see it, which only confirms your suspicions: Triumph isn’t done yet.

“KIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!” her Stand roars, it’s body having changed from it’s more metal-looking form to one that’s seemingly purely made of flame. It screeches, firing what’s seemingly a beam of pure light from its mouth. Directly into Chilli and Caulifla, who doesn’t seem affect as her brother screams out in surprise and pain. But he doesn’t let go, tightening his grip on the choke while Triumph’s Burning Phoenix form continues blasting him. He’s not letting her go, clearly determined to end this right here and now. You aren’t sure how long either of them can keep this up, but if this doesn’t end soon, one if them could get seriously messed up.

But do you interfere?

No. Not even for a second do you consider interfering with their battle and telling them to back off. But, that said, you don’t want them to actually seriously hurt each other. So reaching out telepathically to both children simultaneously, so neither thinks you’re giving the other any advantage, ask them both simply:

“Is this tournament really worth accidentally killing each other?”

That’s all you say, and once you deliver your message end the link with them both. Cauli’s beam continues for another second or two, then both fighters disengage. Caulifla’s Triumph reverts back to it’s normal form as he lets her go, leaping aside out of the attack and immediately clutching his face. With gis back to you as he was, you couldn’t see the damage he was taking before. And neither could Megumin, the young woman audibly gasping at her husband’s condition. Caulifla drops to her knees, coughing violently as Chilli lowers his now-bloodsoaked hand and looks at it, surprised. Seems they both took more damage than they’d thought in the heat of the moment.

“C-Chilli...” Megumin says worriedly, Meloka reaching out and hugging the young woman and whispering something to her.
“I’m not done!” Chilli says, face dripping blood as he’s rising back up to his feet. Clenching his fists he roars, Ascended aura blazing as he gathers every ounce of strength left. “I’m ending this! Right now!!”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=zx1Okb8QKOg

“I-I’m not gonna lose!!” Cauli roars, golden aura surging as she too prepares for a final clash. Like splashing someone in the water Chilli swings his right forward, crystals shooting up grom the ground like a line of spears advancing on his sister. “Triumph!”
“KIIIIIIIII!!” her Stand bellows, firing a cone of flames at the encroaching spears. It’s flames smash into the crystals, keeping any more from sprouting. But Chilli’s just getting started, again creating the parallel walls that swing at her in the middle. Once more Caulifla leaps into the air to avoid the attack, this time also firing an energy bomb down into the resulting dome so Chilli can’t make something dangerous from it. As she does, her attention divided, Chilli blitzes towards her. No doubt hoping to take advantage of her distraction. Unfortunately for him, Triumph isn’t, and sees him coming. “KIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!”

Once more flames burn from Triumph’s mouth, dousing Chilli’s entire body in flames. He screams in pain, Caulifla’s head whipping around startled just in time to see him dash through the flames aimed right at her!

“CRYSTAL MAUL!!” he roars, instantly forming a giant two-handed hammer that resembles your Gravity Hammer, and swings it down with a powerful overhead. She tries to block, but the weapon hits her with so much force it shatters!
“KYAAAAAA!!” Cauli cries out in pain, sent hurtling straight back down towards the arena floor below. But Chilli’s not done yet: he’s gunning for the win.
“Dark Magic: Black Hole!” he calls, and a pinpoint of absolute darkness appears down beside the arena over the out-of-bounds. The sudden vacuum pulls your daughter towards that hyper-gravity, as well as those in the stands nearby. Even Pinrut, still stuck to the wall is being pulled out towards that gravitational well. Caulifla’s downward flight changes, pulled irresistibly towards that dark void.

“N-No! I won’t! Lose!!” she roars, recovering and trying to fly away from it just as Chilli’s closed the distance. Her eyes widen in shock, seeing Chilli’s fist swinging right towards her face. The blow connects, sending Caulifla down right at that void. Then he ends the attack with a snap, and instead of that pull sucking her in to who knows where, Caulifla’s sent crashing down just outside the stage.
“Caulifla has been sent out-of-bounds!” Freeza declares. “Chilli is the winner!”

You almost can’t believe it’s over, but Caulifla picks herself up after a second, looking around confused. When Freeza reiterates what he said to her your daughter slumps defeated, then perks up as Chilli, no longer a Super Saiyan lands hard on the stage. She rushes over to him as your son falls, crashing down like a marionette with it’s strings cut.

“CHILLI!!” Megumin shouts terrified, and without a hint of hesitation leaps from the stands down towards her husband. He won, but as you feel his ki continuing to plummet. Something’s wrong here, something’s very, very wrong with this situation. And almost as if by instinct you look up, towards where he’d been before, and see an unfamiliar creature floating up the. What the hell is that?

>2. This guy is trying to distract everybody in the stadium.
If it's 1, then this mystery combatant is about to get a Berserk sized boot shoved up their ass.
If it's 2, then Karn and company are being played like a goddamn fiddle.

If you mean Beat and co they, unfortunately, don't sell like Goku and Xeno Goku. Even Heroes follow the trope of "Only Goku can win". Hence why the JP fanbase is seething that Gogeta "jobbed" in his new Limit Breaker form against Shota Fu. It was all a ploy to set up Goku saving the day with himself using Chrona Time hax.

Pic related.
That said, I'm still quite curious as to who the soon-to-be-corpse is.
I know it's almost certainly not another party-crasher from outside the timeline, otherwise Towa's seal would be going off.

>>
>>5037431
It'd be pretty short. Technically if I remember right they should be just outside the Tameranian space border. So it would still be a minuet before they waste our time if they even bother. Dragon Force would be a good way to shut them and the other Lanter Corps down for good.

That or "hopefully" some collector gets an eye for the Legendary Super Saiyan.
though that might be a problem for Broly if they do their homework.
>>
>>5037831
If you wanted to have a reasonable chance at bagging Karn, he’d be a top pick. Especially since the Zoldycks put out that “do not touch” on Karn’s family. But trying to get him in the middle of the day, at a crowded arena full of amped up Saiyans, and attacking one of his kids? Either adamantine balls or -5 iq. Possibly both.
>>
>>5037840
>Either adamantine balls or -5 iq. Possibly both
That sounds exactly like something he'd do, but I digress.
I imagine Karn would come to blows with him eventually. Whether it be to defend himself or, more likely, Ubo.
Kryptonians are something of a rare item, though the same could be said of Frost Demons and I don't think any of them are in danger or being kidnapped.
Except for Cooler.

He must have died from the Event Horizon. Now he is back to where he was before annihilation of the arena. Chili's spell undid the time flow instead of just rebuilding the place. How far could Ticho get in the tournament if she did not meet Broly in the beginning?

Less than you might think actually.
Castlevania's depiction of Dracula was never shown to be explicitly dependent on the consumption of living blood to survive, nor was he ever shown to be unable to endure the Sun's rays.
That's assuming Chilli would turn in the same manner as Dracula, which probably wouldn't be the case given the specifics of his turning.

Fellas, I know this is only 1/15th jojo, but I have quite the autistic theory I can't get out of my head.
Inorganic crystalline-structured materials seem to conduct hamon well, but can't store it.
Organic materials are necessary to store hamon, but some organic materials are better than others at hamon conductivity.
An organic crystalline structure would, naturally, be the best of both worlds - extremely good conductivity, with good retention.
There's very few organic crystalline substances out there, but we know of one big one - Amber.
Amber was used for healing in folk medicine, is used often as a gem'stone', has etymological connections to the Sun and Sunlight, AND can very easily store electrostatic charge (hamon, as everyone knows, produces sparks of electricity).
It also has a rich history in Italy, which as we know was where a major hamon tribe used to be located prior to being wiped out, and was where the Red Stone of Ajah was ultimately kept.
Lastly, Amber undergoes more polymerization, isomerization reactions, crosslinking and cyclization as it grows older.
My theory is that the Red Stone of Ajah is a PARTICULARLY old piece of polished amber, kept safe and secure for countless years. And the reason why Kars found it so hard to find a fitting piece is because it's so very rare for a piece of amber to last the millions of years needed to get it into the same quality as the Red Stone of Ajah.
Plus, you know, the color of Amber depends on its age and the particular tree's resin it was born from. Red Amber exists.
>>
>>5038344
huh... that's a pretty neat theory, I had never thought about why the Red Stone might work so well for hamon

Are you the so called gutsbro? I like the theory, but what's the precedent for crystalline-structured materials conducting well hamon?

First, I'm not gay. Second it isn't gay to recognize people's attractiveness. Most people agree Ryan Reynolds is pretty hot. Because he is. I wouldn't let him anywhere near my ass but it doesn't change that.

Dracula is like a walking tally box for things women typically find attractive. Don't come at me for being supremely confident in my sexuality. I ain't some twittard weirdo who wants to stick Buzz Lightyear up my ass because my father never gave me enough attention growing up.

Very nice theory. I consider it canon.
>>5038560
>Now doesn’t this look familiar?
I think I have seen it somewhere I just can't remember where.

Though this talk about amber made me think about Stone Mask. Kars offered Stone Mask to Karn once. That mask was destroyed by old Guardian.

Effects of a Stone Mask itself:
>Human ---> Vampire
>Saiyan ---> probably a Saiyan Vampire
> Pillar man ---> Pillar man with increased body manipulation powers at the cost of greatly increased hunger.

Effects of a Stone Mask with Red Stone of Aja:
> Pillar man with increased body manipulation powers at the cost of greatly increased hunger. ---> Ultimate Life Form
> Saiyan ---> ???
> Saiyan Vampire ---> ???
> Human ---> ???
> Human Vampire ---> ???
I guess it is hard to predict what would happen in such scenarios.

What you just saw was Autism.
Now prepare to see Autism that has ascended past Autism...or as I like to call it, Autism 2.
The tree of might is a divine tree which absorbs an enormous amount of nutrients and lifeforce from wherever it gets planted. They're meant to be grown on the Core World of the Kais.
The sap of a tree of might would be unbelievably potent, and since they're such ancient trees, imagine how powerful of a hamon amplifier Amber of Might could be...
After all, can't the sap from a tree of might resurrect the LONG dead?

As someone who has 6-8” of beard currently, it’s usually people without more than 2” or so who think that. And to be fair, that’s not enough to brush anyways.
>>5038837
It’s amber shaped exactly the same as the Red Stone.
As for the masks, they make something “a more perfect version” of itself in the image of the Pillar Men. Stronger, more durable, drinking blood of other living mortals for energy instead of through eating, etc.
>>5038838
Well played
>>5038850
>>5038852
If Frieza saga Vegeta( could power down enough for Krillin to harm him, a mask strong enough to pierce the Pillar Men’s skin AND SKULL could do the same to a Saiyan if the participant was willing to drop their defenses. If Krillin (75k) was able to critically wound Vegeta (above 530k, less than 1 million), then it’s more than certainly possible.

Growing it out for the winter or you just like having it?

>pierce the Pillar Men’s skin AND SKULL
This makes me curious. In terms of simple durability where do pillar men and saiyans lie relative to each other? They're both naturally beyond human even if they had the same resting power. I think in terms of bone strength saiyans have the advantage but the toughness of other tissues goes to pillar men.
>>

>You mean his ranged attack? That’s actually a ki-based projectile attack, and is invisible to the eye. The real bullshit of that move is that it can pass through both living and nonliving matter at the user’s discretion.
>>5036823
>But what is really nonsensical is his ki being able to use his time powers to bypass things. Even if it's just dimension-hopping instead, it's still nonsense.
Is it really explained how Hit does it? I never thought that Hit's Ki was able to do the dimension hopping.

I was thinking he controlled the Ki he was sending outward in the same way that Karn controls where his Guided Eye Beams will fly. The difference is that Hit has much greater ability to control the Ki outside of his body.

Hit makes Ki projectiles:
>Invisible.
>Pass through objects that are not his intended target. Like in the gif. The Ki attack only became harmful when it reached Goku.

I have a little suspicion about how Hit does it. Karn can use his own Ki to(among other things):
> Form a wave of destructive energy.
>Pour Ki into a wounded teammate to stabilize his health and help him (this is a Ki outside of Karn's body and it is not doing any damage).
Going by those 2 examples I think that perhaps when Hit sends his energy outward he can control its properties all the time :
>Ki projectile goes through air normally.
>Then the Ki pours itself into a tree in a nonlethal manner. Maybe similar to the way Karn's Ki energy helped his wounded teammates.
>But Hit can make the his own Ki energy go further. Hit's Ki exits the tree and keeps on going changing his energy's properties while passing through various objects on the way. Till it reaches Goku where Hit finally makes the Ki projectile dangerous.
This seems like something very advanced, though I guess those are the things you can learn to do after practicing Ki manipulation/ energy control skills for hundreds of years.

Also on topic of the invisibility of Hit's Ki projectile attack. In this gif we can see that Hit's Ki and aura naturally has dark blue/purple color. That's why I think his Ki energy projectiles are not naturally invisible. It is his conscious choice and skill that makes them invisible.

Think about all the things regular hamon can do - heal injuries, magnetically attract leaves together, act as a radar for natural and unnatural things nearby, SEE premonitions of the future...
If you could magnify that 100fold, it'd be crazy. 10,000 fold? absolutely insane.

He was limited by the technology of his time. It’s like asking why Edison or Tesla didn’t invent a touchscreen phone, or discover nuclear energy.
>>5039053
Why would you scrap a design you’d built, upon finding out a missing piece could make it better?
>>
>>5039070
>Well, you’ve been seeing how incomplete his genocides have been. Same for canon Freeza, it’s gotta be genetic or something.
Gods are hereditary idiots
Genocidal Emperors can't complete genocide
>>
>>5039070
>what do you know of golden helmets?
They're shiny.
>>
>>5039072
Right? Freeza in canon missed at least 6 Saiyans and we now know 3 Namekians. How incomplete were his other attempts as mass extinction?
>>5039077
True. Also usually either cursed or possessed.
>inb4 what’s the difference?
>>
>>5039087
What's the di- ah damn it.

To be fair to Frozuh though if you can count what's left of a species on one hand, they're functionally extinct by any metric. Unless they're able to hybridize. But that's cheating because why would extraplanetary pairings possibly be able to reproduce?
>>
>>5039087
>I wiped out this entire continent, I must have got them all
To be fair though, who would have the balls to let either of them know they missed a spot.
>>
>>5039070
>While we wait, what do you know of golden helmets?
.......Motherfucker. Its Nabu isn't it? You did say that Law/Order/Ect Deities/Entites were tripping balls from Chili using Chaos Magic.

And hes entirely fucking stupid enough to try the kind of shit that just happened.
>>
>>5039108
Except for Namekians, who reproduce asexually. As long as one survives, the species survives.
>>5039110
Karn. Who would fire on the spot first, then tell them. Results before friendly jabs at allies
>>
>>5039111
He wouldn’t directly confront the Saiyans, on the Saiyan homeworld, with Freeza present as well. Would he?
>>
>>5039116
Bruh.
>>
>>5039116
He is juuuust, lawful stupid enough to try, but since we are still so far from the DC Earth, I can't imagine he'd have jurisdiction.
>>
>>5039116
I can absolutely see Nabu or whoever holds the helmet being stupid enough to try.
>>
>>5039114
>Except for Namekians, who reproduce asexually
All the stuff that made them scary would be gone though most likely. None of their wizard bullshit or secrets. Depending on which green bean walked away from it. And the super namekian was an exception to the rule, most of them weren't all that powerful. It would have taken ages for them to rebuild enough to make that silly forbidden fusion actually threatening to someone like the ice box.

But yeah, Namekians cheat too. Slug named little veggies.
>>
>>5039123
>directly
>>5039126
>jurisdiction
An excellent observation. Gods are bound to laws that govern the use of their powers. However, mortals have no such restrictions.
>>5039129
If he stood a reasonable chance, yes. But what if there were a better solution? Mortals causing problems should be handled by mortals, not gods.
>>5039131
Not necessarily. Non-Dragon Clan Namekians that can split enough, can eventually form another Dragon Clan who can create/inherit a set of Dragonballs. Namekians are nearly impossible to exterminate if even one leaves their world behind.
>>
>>5039143
How the fuck does any of that make sense? Fucking weird smooth broccoli headass niggas.
>>
>>5039146
slug-brocolli*
>>
>>5039149
Yes, you're right. I apologize.
>>
>>5039146
All Namekians(at least at this point in time in Universe 7) descend from the Dragon Clan. And much like how King Piccolo could create different servants for different tasks, so too could the Namekian progenitor. Except they all come out as full Namekians and not mutants, since their progenitor was still whole and not split in half like Piccolo and Kami were.
>>
>>5039143
>However, mortals have no such restrictions
Ah. I'm picking up what you're putting down.
He absolutely seems the type to enslave and expend a mortal just to get back at a kid.
Fucking gods man, always a bunch of detached pricks.
>>
>>5039231
There’s one problem with that theory. He’d have to, a) find a willing mortal who can withstand New Salda’s gravity, and b) convince them to don the mask to “Right the wrongs” when the Saiyans are generally perceived well. Thanks in no small part to Vox’s media empire
>>
>>5039484
I can think of at least one race of mortals that still hate the Saiyans and could potentially withstand the gravity of New Salda.
>>
>>5039487
Dropped my pic
>>
>>5039487
Physically yes. But they have even less innate magical ability than the Saiyan race, which is nowhere near enough to even use a millionth of his power. Much less enough to battle Karn
>>
>>5039663
Just like, slap some crystals on it. Crystals make everything more magical. My generic fantasy tropes told me so.
>>
>>5039672
nah, you just gotta draw some runes on something and it's magical
>>
>>5039672
Crystal magic is actually rare
>>5039682
Did somebo’ey say magic rrrrunes?
>>
>>5039708
Even he wouldn't waste his time getting involved here unless he's on vacation.
>>
>>5039708
uh bro generic fantasy doesn't lie. Just slap some fancy colorful translucent rocks on things and they're like at least thirty times more mystical. I've read the synopses for at least eight final fantasy games and they're all the same way.
>>
>>5039748
final fantasy has magic crystals, not crystal magic
...I think, I haven't played the newer ones.
>>
>>5039708
I was gonna say it was mighty impressive for the Scotsman to go toe-to-toe with Jack of all people, but then I realized much like Karn, he had the power of fatherhood and a loving wife giving him untold strength.
>>
>>5039752
>final fantasy has magic crystals,
That's what I said.
>>
>>5039742
He’d side against a spineless backstabbin’ git!
>>5039748
Ha. But lazy writing is still lazy. If a fire mage isn’t replacing his sword each time after destroying the temper, 1/10 immersion broken.
>>5039783
Yes. He has Celtic magic and dadhood coursing through his veins.
>>
>>5039831
>He’d side against a spineless backstabbin’ git
God bless the Scotsman and all the memes he spawned.
>>
QM UPDATE

I’m so excited for this upcoming epilogue. Will spoil the start of the next episode, but I couldn’t resist writing more on this character. Episode 165 is gonna be a whole lotta fun.

>>5039834
Yes. Samurai Jack as a whole was excellent for those
>>
>>5039872
Well its going to be entertaining to see what happens.
>>
SOON
>>
>>5039831
>If a fire mage isn’t replacing his sword each time after destroying the temper
aw man, I had never thought of that, now it's going to be ruined for me too
>>
>>5040263
Alternatively, they would just use an enchanted weapon or make one that could stand up to the heat without losing its temper.
>>
>>5040265
Oooor, they use a sword with a pressurized water edge like a CNC Mill.
>>
>>5040285
Wouldn't the water vaporize too fast? Or would the pressure keep it a stable liquid despite the heat from the flames?
>>
>>5039904
Yes.
>>5040047
Very.
>>5040263
Magic handwavium usually can counter this in mid-high magic settings. Just enchant with resistance to heat. But speaking of fire, Baldur’s Gate coldfire is still awesome. Fire that deals hot and cold damage is awful to fight against
>>5040285
But how?
>>
>>5040357
>But how?
Enchanting a blade with a water container attachment, and have it rotate at high speeds.
>>
>>5040357
>Fire that deals hot and cold damage is awful to fight against
Yup. Imagine getting hit with a fireball and coming out with frostbite on top of 3rd degree burns.
>But how?
Dwarven craftsdwarfship.
>>
WHO’S READY FOR LORE DUMP?

>>5040402
Heh
>>5040503
No, not quite. Imagine getting a cut that instantly freezes the sides of the wound and quickly spreads to the flesh/bones around it, while the flesh beneath that icy exterior begin boiling. After a few strikes you’re frozen body is rendered immobile, your entire body shivering yet painfully burning alive inside your own personal iceberg. Leaving an ice sculpture of you where you died with an unrecognizably charred corpse inside. A shit way to go out.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 164 Epilogue-

AGE 750, WEST/NORTH QUARDANT BORDER

“Another day, another bounty to collect.” you say to yourself, glancing to the mounted head of your bounty on your space hog. And by mounted, you mean pinned in place by a dagger through its head. “Go ahead and make yourself comfortable. You’re not going anywhere.”
“You damn savage! Once I’ve feasted on enough blood to regenerate, I’ll devour you!” the vampire threatens, wriggling in impotent fury. “Your line will end, and I, the great and powerful-!”
“Yeah yeah, save it vampire.” you say, mounting a makeshift dome over your bounty from a discarded serving tray as well so you don’t have to keep listening to it’s mouth. “

Reaching into your back pocket you draw your list of bounties for the week out, and cross out the vampire you’d just bagged. Standing in the middle of what was a city, ground soaked with the locals’ blood, you consider it a job well done. One of these bloodsuckers had survived Boros’ undead purge, and quickly reclaimed the planet. And, knowing the rat’d go underground again should his ship approached, the fraggin cyclops had hired you to take him in alive.

“Don’t worry about killing him.” Boros had told you. “As long as the head’s intact, do what you will with the rest of him and whoever tries to stop you.”
“Well, I got him anyways.” you say, looking ovet the list. Nothing’s really nearby, so you’ll head back to the blue cyclops and get paid. Nothing like a good drink after a fight. So with a “hup” you mount your spacehog, a modified SpazFrag666 and fire it up.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=igvP806798U

Your album blasts as you rev the engine, blasting off the population controlled world and taking to space immediately. Singing along, your ride takes you back to the nearest local watering hole you’d seen him last, The Thieves Den. Seeing Boros’s hulking ship still parked in the same spot he’d been a few days ago, you realize he’s been here waiting for you. You come screaming in, making space dust as you screech to a halt, sliding into mercenary parking sideways to a stop just before hitting the wall.

“You wait here, I’ll be back in a few minutes with the cash.” you tell your bike, lifting the serving platter dome then pulling the impaled vampire free with the dagger, holding it inside the dome for a surprise reveal to your client. Plus the owner doesn’t appreciate anyone spilling blood on his floor. Which, come to think of it, you’ve never actually seen anyone clean. Does the floor just drink the blood, or is there another explanation? But after a few seconds give up on that train of thought, as Mac’ll never tell his secrets anyways. “Frag it. C’mon chompy, let’s take you to your new home.”
>>
>>5040536
“You goddamm ape, I will strangle you with your own entrails! I will feast on the marrow in your bones, and-!” he’s shouting, you simply tuning it out as you walk up to the door. It slides open at your approach, greeting you to a sight familiar across the universe. Booze establishments that cater to a “less than noble” class of patrons all tend to look the same, tables seemingly scattered about yet placed in exact positions, dozens of booth seats in nearly as many shadowy corners, many occupied by strange wierdos wearing hooded cloaks and sitting alone with a single drink are also common. And due to the market several seats of various sizes are all lined up along the bar, but the place is half empty at this time of day. Which is just as well, as your bounty begins screaming for help.

“Someone help! This crazy savage just murdered my family and took me hostage!!” he shouts, no doubt expecting someone to try and interfere. But other than a few rude looks, most no-doubt wanting you to silence your bounty so they can get back to their conversations. "I’m innocent, I did nothing-!”
“That’s enough outta you.” you say, snatching a serving tray and slamming it on top. “Now, where’s-?”
“Ahh, there you are.” you hear the familiar voice call. Turning to your right, you see the cyclops in his gaudy golden armor sitting casually at a round table with one guest, while Boros’s many-headed bodyguard stands behind his master’s chair. “Excellent timing. Since you’re back, I take it you found him then?”

“Yeah, I got yer bastich right here.” you say, rattling the head around inside your makeshift shaker as you strut up to the table. Then with a little flourish flip and set the platter down, pulling the dome from it to reveal the knife-stuck vampire head. “One vampire head, hold the garlic.”
“Hello, Demontes.” Boros says casually, the decapitated head losing even more color as he recognizes the cyclops. “I heard you’ve been busy wreaking havoc. On MY world.”
“Not as much as that crazy psycho!” he shouts, no doubt meaning you. “He killed everyone! The entire city’s been razed to the ground!”
“Not entirely.” you pipe up. “I left the aquarium alone.
“Thank you, Lobo, for your assistance in this matter.” Boros says, gesturing for the lid. Which you hand to him, the cyclops covering his newly-acquired, living decapitated vampire head and setting it by his feet. “Your payment, as promised.”

As he says this the many-headed man walks over, handing you the agreed-upon amount. But as you count, notice he added in an extra five percent as a bonus. Jackpot! That’s why this guy is a favored client of mercenaries.

“If you have the time, I would like to discuss another matter with you.” he says, you raising an eyebrow as he catches your attention. “Or, rather, he would.”
>>
>>5040537
“Lobo of Czarnia. I have traveled quite far to meet with you.” the golden-masked figure says, in a deep, sonorous voice. “You spread carnage wherever you go, even going so far as to exterminate the rest of your own species. You are an evil, violent being, through and through.”
“Aww, thanks fer the compliments.” you say, pulling up a chair and sitting down, propping your feet on the table. And as he continues talking you draw a cigar and a blowtorch, light it, then take a deep pull. “But flattery only gets ya so far. And if you’re thinkin for one second I’d put that damned mask on so you can use me as a meat puppet, I’ll show you why they call me ‘The Ultimate Bastich’! Do I make myself clear?”

“I have no such intentions.” the masked creature says. “And since you already know who I am, I believe introductions are no longer necessary. So let us move on to the matter at hand. I have two targets-“
“Now you hold on a second.” you say, narrowing your eyes at the golden helm. “I know what you are. Now, what business does a divine being have with a mercenary? I’m not getting embroiled in another war between heaven an’ hell, y’all bastiches don’t pay anywhere near good enough for that kinda headache.”
“No, this is a matter of mortals.” the helmet says. “And as a Lord of Order and divine being, I cannot directly interfere in most mortal affairs.”
“Ain’t that why you stuffed yer ass inside that tin hat?” you ask it, gesturing to the possessed mortal’s body. “You can’t act directly, so you grab some poor bastich and force them to do your dirty work instead until they give out, and you find a new sucker to do it all again.”

“A rather crude and incomplete assessment of my symbiotic relationships with mortals, but not entirely inaccurate.” he retorts. “However, these beings are well beyond what my current host, or any host I can use without access to my full power can handle. And these two are disrupting the flow of Time, the balance between Order and Chaos, and even distupting Fate itself. This disruption cannot be allowed to continue.”
“Y’know, all that don’t mean a fraggin thing to me.” you say, already bored with this pretentious god’s boring ass. “Who’s the target, an’ what’re ya payin?”

“I have two targets who need to be eliminated.” he replies, holding both hands open palm-up. Golden light radiates upwards, the motes forming two distinct figures. As they take shape you notice Boros’s eye widen, the surprise clear on his face. He recognizes the mark. “Karn, The Dragon of New Salda, and defier of Fate. And Chilli son of Karn: a servant of the Final Scribe who wields Chaos magic.”

“You can’t be serious.” you say, incredulous. “You do know that old bastich Zoldyck put a do-not-touch out on those Saiyans in particular, right? Going against his wishes is gonna cost you a hell of a lot more.”
>>
>>5040540
“I assure you, money is not an issue.” Nabu says, the images in his open hands begin shifting into something else. “Besides, I believe you may have a reason to personally dislike this man, and his family as well.”
“Oh yeah? And what reason could tha-?“ you start, freezing as his magical image stops. You see the kid jerking an innocent dolphin out of the sea, and decapitating it cruelly! You slam your fist on the table, standing up feeling furious. “That bastich!! You got yourself a deal, consider those dirty fraggin dolphin hunters dead!”

And without another word storm from the bar, whistling and calling your spacehog right over to you. Mounting up you kick off, blasting away from The Thieves’ Den. Genociding planets in the name of Freeza and the PTO? Just fine, everybody’s gotta make a living somehow. But hurting dolphins? That’s something you cannot forgive! You’re gonna enjoy tearing those bastiches apart!

Meanwhile, back inside The Thieves’ Den

“You lied to him? You, a Lord of Order?” Lord Boros asks the god-possessed man sitting beside him as everyone hears the spacehog blaze away. “I’d thought for sure such a thing would be against some divine law.”
“Lying to mortals is not something smiled upon.” the masked figure replies, sighing out heavily and ending the image. But you’d never actually spoke the lie, merely failed to correctly image the past and he assumed it was correct. “But their crimes against Order itself are far more heinous than a simple illusion. Should this behavior continue, reality itself could begin to unravel, or worse.”

“Worse?” Boros asks, interest piqued. “What could be worse than reality undoing itself?”
“Chaos is a destructive force, but not nearly as powerful as her.” Nabu says, clearly shivering a moment before continuing, conspiratorially. “The Supreme Kai of Time. Should Chaos spread too far through a timeline, fracturing the flow of Time itself too greatly to be recovered, she will erase it.”
“Erase it?” Boros asks, confused. “Erase what?”
“Everything.” Nabu replies seriously. “The entire timeline, from beginning to end, completely erased as if none of us ever existed, leaving nothing behind. She exists in a place beyond time, and watches our and every other timeline simultaneously with her ever-vigilant gaze.”
“Ohh?” Boros suddenly perks up, looking at one of the many holoscreens along the walls. On at least one third of them are a tournament, young Saiyans battling against each other. Except in this one, both aren’t Saiyans.

“EVENT HORIZON!” Broly roars, firing a massive orb down at his monstrous foe. Part Ctarl-Ctarl and part Oozaru, the halfbreed’s powerful mixed form roars and catches the attack. “Tch! If one’s not enough!”

And begins creating a second blast!
>>
>>5040536
>>5040536
FUCKING CALLLLLED IT!
>>
>>5040543
“Hmmm. Let’s see what you can do.” Boros mutters before taking a sip, Broly throwing his second blast down atop the first. The two massive pools of energy begin merging, forming a powerful speck that detonates with extreme power. Even Karn’s emerald shield he formed around the arena cannot contain it, shattering under such pressure. Screams of pain and terror come from the crowd, both men watching the carnage wordlessly. Once it’s over Boros comments, noting the death of the one who’d been imprisoned in the wall. But as the injured are taken to Karn’s daughter Caulifla for healing, who rumor has it was able to undo serious damage King Cold had lived with for years, they both see a lone figure flying over the arena. “Oh? Isn’t that-?”

“Dark Magic: True Dark!” Chilli calls, a sphere of absolute darkness appearing and rapidly expanding from his staff. His darkness expands out all the way inside the stands, covering the entire inside of the arena that was destroyed.
“No, he cannot do this!” Nabu says, sounding actually angry. And then, to Boros’s clear surprise, the orb of absolute black begins changing. It starts as a centered pinpoint of light, the small dot quickly growing brighter and brighter. The shadowy orb rapidly changes into a spiral of dark and light magics, the two energies spinning faster and faster until their colors are indistinguishable and form a grey sphere. Which begins fading after several seconds, the inside fading outward until it’s completely gone. Leaving Chilli standing atop the returned stage.

“I....did....i-“ he says, chest heaving as both tome and staff drop from his hands. He then drops to his knees, and falls over on his right side.
“So, that is the power of Chaos magic?” Boros muses as Karn and a young woman appear by his side, who tears free of Karn and goes to the young boy, rolling him onto his back.
“Look, there.” Nabu says, pointing to the wall. And sure enough, the damage caused by the blast is gone. And the young warrior is returned, looking pale and disoriented. “He just did it again. Chilli created another Fateless.”
“A Fateless?” Boros asks him, intrigued. “What is that?”
“A Fateless is one who’s bond to their destiny has been distupted.” the gold helmeted man answers. “Every choice that boy now makes, every action chosen will fragment the timeline further and further, causing untold branches to form. And if this isn’t stopped, the entire timeline could implode and erase us all. I only hope Lobo is up to the task.”
“This will be entertaining, if nothing else.” Lord Boros says, showing little concern as he takes a sip. Then under his breath adds “Show me your strength, Karn. Show me you truly have the power to defy a god.”

Nabu is a filthy liar and I wanna throw his tin can ass in a black hole.
>>
>>5040551
Same.
Even if he has a good reason to not like Karn or Chilli, he could at least talk to em.
You know, that civil and lawful method of solving disputes.
Fucking gods man.
>>
>>5040543
THAT RAT MOTHERFUCKER SMEARED OUR NAME!
>>
>>5040547
I’ve been saving this encounter since you all first met Crazy Hassan. This is going to be fun.
>>5040551
Wouldn’t do much to him. Would shred his poor meatpuppet though.
>>5040555
Gods? Doing the responsible and lawful thing? Since when?(besides Jergal)
>>5040556
Yes. But what’re you gonna do about it? Lobo’s certainly not wanting to stand around and talk about it, not with a fraggin dolphin killer.
>>
>>5040558
>I’ve been saving this encounter since you all first met Crazy Hassan. This is going to be fun.
What? Why?
>Yes. But what’re you gonna do about it? Lobo’s certainly not wanting to stand around and talk about it, not with a fraggin dolphin killer.
Beat his ass into a Blackhole.
>>
>>5040548
Oh man, this party is about to get crazy.
>>
>>5040558
> Lobo’s certainly not wanting to stand around and talk about it, not with a fraggin dolphin killer.
He's gonna rave about it and karns not gonna know what the hell a dolphin even is, could be a fun episode.
>>
>>5040575
>"You fraggin' bastich! Did ya think you would get away with killin' a dolphin like that!?"
>"Who the hell is Adolphen?"
>>
>>5040579
And Lobo will explain what they are and karn will probably think of the asshole mind sharks and probably try to send Lobo home with one or something.
>>
I love when we get these types of epilogues. Glad to see Lobo finally make his entrance too, been waiting years for this.
>>
>>5040558
Y'know, before I finished reading I thought, "How does a Mindslayer resemble a dolphin?". I guess they are both very fucking evil.
>>
>>5040558
Does Lobo know about Camali?
Would he fuck off if we got him an autograph?
>>
>>5040587
Let me explain the difference.
One terrorizes all manner of aquatic life for little to no reason.
The other is a Mindslayer.
>>
>>5040563
>>
>>5040594
>Seemingly unkillable gun for hire with a penchant for motorcycles, junk food, rock music, and extreme combat
I'm sure Dante and Lobo would make the best of friends.
>>
>>5040561
Just because I design an encounter doesn’t mean you’re anywhere close to ready for it.
First, you have to discover he exists. And 2, that he’s behind this. Then 3, find him.
>>5040563
Yes
>>5040575
>could be a fun episode.
Yes. I’m excited for this.
>>5040581
Or the regular armored sharks
>>5040585
They’re a lot of fun. 165 is gonna be wild
>>
>>5040587
Ha.
>>5040589
Possibly. And not a chance.
>>5040597
I can see it.
>>
>>5040598
Lobo's pissed, so getting him to talk ought to be fairly simple. Asking Raven or King Cold can fill us in on the where. At least roughly.
>>
>>5040603
>Lobo's pissed, so getting him to talk ought to be fairly simple
You forgot one very important detail.
Karn is also likely unreasonably pissed off considering the shit that happened in the last session.
I'm not sure Lobo is gonna be able to talk if he's a red smear on the stadium floor.
>>
>>5040579
>What's a dolphin?
>It's a smart fish, pretty big, likes to jump around
>So like a shark?
>What? No it's way cuddlier
>Does it have fur?
>The hell's a fish gonna have fur for ya moron?
>Well what does it look like?
>Uh.. fishy?
>...
>Alright here look I'll show you a picture ya dumb bastich

For the next three hours Lobo and Karn discuss aquatic life. If only it were that easy.
>>
>>5040612
>"These things look dumb as shit."
>"THEY'RE ONE OF THE MOST FRAGGIN' INTELLIGENT ANIMALS IN THE GALAXY!"
>"That must be why they look like pansies too."
>"You wouldn't be saying that if you've ever seen 'em in action..."
>wheels start to turn
>"Yeah about that-"
>lightbulb.wav
>"THAT FRAGGIN' BACK STABBIN' TIN-CAN BASTITCH!"
A man can dream at least.
>>
>>5040611
He'll grow back.
>>
>>5040603
Getting anything more than “Frag you bastich!” out of him is unlikely at first.
>>5040611
Oh yeah. It’s gonna get violent.
>>5040612
>>5040618
Ha.
>>5040619
Oh yeah. Regenerators are a menace.
>>
>>5040644
>Getting anything more than “Frag you bastich!” out of him is unlikely at first.
>Oh yeah. Regenerators are a menace.
Which is why after a few pastings, he'll start talking about why he's pissed.
>>
>>5040654
Problem is, I genuinely think of karn sees Lobo come back he might think he's some bastard sent by the SKoT and DDF Lobo out of existence, also leading to a very very sad trunks when he inevitably shows up in the future for potentially a far less malicious reason.
>>
>>5040654
Not to rain on your parade but I don't think it'll be that easy. He's no slouch. Even without actual immortality.
>>
>>5040654
I think you underestimate Lobo.
>>5040662
Karn doesn’t show much mercy to those who hurt his family.
>>5040663
I mean, not many can go toe-to-tow with the ENTIRE Justice League and just walk away after.
>>
>>5040662
Also Friezas right here to. And Chili is his favorite Nephew, how dare Lobo.
>>
>>5040750
You say that like Freeza’s not going to step in. There’s a reason this next episode is starting with a whole 4 posts, including the info post. I’m so excited for this upcoming episode
>>
>>5040764
We'd be worried if you weren't excited to write a drawn out brawl with The Main Man himself.
>>
>>5040776
Fair enough.
>>
And here we are, 24 hours from the start of the next episode. Hope you are ready to do this. The only advice I can give is, “better pull out all the stops”
>>
>>5041127
Of course, if we didn't that would be disrespectful.
>>
>>5041131
I mean ALL the stops. Lobo’s here for only two reasons: kill Karn and Chilli.
>>
>>5041322
It's a shame Nabu neglected to mention the particulars of such an endeavor.

Fantastic epilogue. I like Dynasty arc more and more.
>>
>>5041329
True. But he didn’t get the chance to either. Plus side, we’ll get to watch Boros’s or another charactwr’s perspective on the Lobo fight for an intermission or epilogue.
>>5041330
I’m glad. As we’re now entering into the latter end of the arc, I hope it’s been a fun ride.

>As we’re now entering into the latter end of the arc, I hope it’s been a fun ride.
I hope this does not mean that the huge time skip is around the corner, because I'm enjoying the present (current time) a lot.

>Which is why after a few pastings, he'll start talking about why he's pissed.

>I think you underestimate Lobo.
Greatly. It seems some anons are unaware of what Lobo can do. If you want to be surprised when the new episode will be running, then avoid the spoiler below.
Few quotes about him from " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lobo_(DC_Comics) ":
>>> "In one instance, Lobo was declared immortal; after he died and went to Hell, he proved too much for the demons, and when he was then sent to Heaven, he wreaked so much havoc that he was permanently banished from the afterlife."
He also has very powerful regeneration power.
>>> " Lobo could grow a copy of himself, possessing all of his skills and powers, out of every drop of his blood that was spilled."
>>> "His blood reformed into thousands of Lobo clones who waged war on the planet and then proceeded to murder each other until only one Lobo (the current one) was left."
>>> "Despite his violent and loutish nature, Lobo seems to have a genius-level intellect in matters of destruction and violence."
He is 1 man that can turn into an army. His murder skills are remarkable. I think he realistically has capability to send somebody from our family or friends into the afterlife. Let's not underestimate him.

Intelligent Majin Buu. Dry run for the real thing.
>>
>>5041393
Oh no, don't get me wrong, if there's anybody that could kill Karn and all his friends, it'd be the Main Man himself. That much is obvious.
I'm just saying that even if we roll like shit, it's not gonna be an easy fight for Lobo.
>>
>>5041393
We’re now much closer to the end than the beginning. That said, you still have several important choices to make. And Chaya has a big fight too, possibly the biggest of her career so far.
>>
>>5041395
Quite possibly

You’d better, if you want to win

Rolled 56 (1d100)

This will be Lobo's luck

Rolled 94 (1d100)

And this will be ours

See, nothing to worry about.

I'm scared.

Well now, I’m sure it’ll be-

Let’s hope so.

I find your lack of Confidance disturbing

mine wouldn't have look as good as this one. Outstanding.

I love how it came out, follow @SplicedPenguin for more of their work. Have several talented artists all working on excellent pieces. Speaking of, have a new one! This amazing Goddess Meloka piece is by @Vincentgraphart
>>
>>5041571
Action shot of Meloka blowing Karn's heart out the back of his torso during a training exercise.

lol
Looks good. I really can't wait until Karn and Meloka get their new forms (Berserker 3 and SSG, let alone higher levels than that)

Speaking of which, Broly really took after his adoptive mum during this tournament with that whole 'kill the entire audience with a double Event Horizon thing'. The family has no fucking chill.
>>
>>5041574
nearly kill*
>>
>>5041574
Ya know, I just realized. We have no idea who Broly's biological mother is.
It's probably close to impossible to get that information now, but maybe there's some old records detailing his birth.
Or more precisely, who was carrying him up to when he was placed in the gestation tanks.
>>
>>5041573
Ha. And no, not quite.
Yes.
>>5041574
He wasn’t expecting them to merge and explode like that. Was more of a second meteor plan.
>>5041578
No you don’t. Nor who her sister was.
>>
>>5041595
>No you don’t. Nor who her sister was
So she DID have a sister is what you're saying. Interesting.
Maybe when Karn inevitably dies carrying the whole PTO on his back, he can ask Paragus for the details.

Great art.

SOONER

Everyone’s related to someone. And not likely, he’s probably already been through the Soul Cleansing Machine.
>>5041835
Yes. Although its taking a toll on my account. Going to be setting up something so that those who can can help fund more pieces
>>5041870
Yes.
>>5041873
YES
>>
>>5041898
Damn. I guess Karn is just gonna have to ask around and see if the medical techs on Planet Vegeta at the time were filing their shit correctly.
That said, it's not much of a priority right now, even as far as side quests are concerned.
As distraught as Broly was over losing Paragus, I imagine he's just about gotten over it.
That said, there's more to the endeavor than simply giving Broly peace of mind.
If we can get a good handle on Saiyans with relatives displaying the Berserk mutation, we may be able to screen children for it as they develop and plan their upbringing accordingly.
Nobody should have to go through what Broly did when he was first learning about his abilities.
>>
>>5041903
At this point he barely remembers Paragus, if he tries to think back. You all are his family. As far as records go, they’re mostly maternal. Saiyans like Karn and Bardock are still far more the exception than the rule.

It’s time >>5041917
