Okay?

***

We apologize to our fluffy imoutos in our hearts, but we need them to stay where they are and help with repairing the keep. Let's spoil them lots later, just in case. In different ways, obviously.

After taking #3 to a spacious room, we have Dawn and Lyann bring out some tables, chairs, tea, and snacks out of their [Inventory].

"Alright, we can do this the e- uh, a cliché." ~ We pause for a moment. ~ "We can do this the easy way, or the hard way, it is up to you, really."
"There is very little you can learn from me. Besides, you will kill me once I talk, and you will kill me if I don't talk. What reason would I have to talk?"
"Avoiding pain?" ~ Lyann lifts an eyebrow
"I can just disconnect my senses from this body's, that won't do anything to me."

"What's there to talk about? We're those abandoned by the gods. Our right to existence denied, why wouldn't we want to be?" ~ #3 says rather bitterly
"You obviously exist. I am fairly sure that army out there was no illusion." ~ Aritsu comments with a frown ~ "The gods could have completely dismissed you, but they did not. You just want our world because its not yours."
"The grass across the fence is always greener, was it? Being endless and timeless sounds pretty good to me." ~ Dawn shrugs

>"Like they said, you do exist, you just want more."

"Oh and you don't? You invade each other all the time!"
"We aren't genocidal about it! It's just a change of government at the most!" (in most dimensions anyway, we hope)
"What? We aren't killing you forever. I mean, you'll just reincarnate in time..."

#3 seems genuinely confused about our claim.

>"What do you mean?"
>"Alright, so reincarnation is a thing. Most people won't remember their previous life, so you're killing their identity. That's the same as killing them forever anyway!"

"But you're still causing ego death, which is no different than physical death. If a person's Ghost gets formatted, then it doesn't matter if there's still a Ghost, they're dead because they can't access their previous life's data nor is their Ghost carrying on the residual emergent patterns caused by their memories."

Thank you, Masamune Shirow and Ghost in the Shell, as well as other SF authors that discuss Forking consciousness and memories.

heh, you know i'm writing a story right now where two "good guys" argue about altering the memories of two slave merchants to make them good ppl, and the argument is pretty much about that

"Fuck yeah I can when they're this rapey and slaver-y."

I feel you can go one of two ways:
1. keep capital punishment, that there are some people that cannot be fixed due to flaws in their brains or minds without essentially causing a death of personality. You might as well get some usefulness to society out of the body and mind. If the soul exists, but the soul and the mind are separated because the mind id dependent on the hardware that runs it but the soul is the spark that initializes the mind, then doing this has the potential to redeem the soul. (Babylon 5 and the book "The Demolished Man" explored this).

2. go the path of a clockwork orange. Set up processes and daemons in the mind that force the mind to externally act in a socially acceptable manner, no matter how psychotic the mind originally is. Trap the evil and prevent it from harming others again.

"But memories are what makes a soul... isn't it?" ~ #3 sounds doubting ~ "You can't have empty souls, that's just ether."
"That's what happens to people upon death. You are wiping our souls clean, you're killing us."
"That... you can't prove that."
"I am going to assume it is different for you, but we have birds and we have fish, they're alive, but they are very different. We are different from you. The gods didn't want you to be, perhaps they feared the accumulation of knowledge from souls that wouldn't be wiped. I don't know."
"But we are..."
"You were left isolated and unable to learn, My guess is that we can't have both acquisition of new ideas and preservation of ideas through eternity, who knows? I don't."

While the rest of the girls don't seem particularly affected by our words, Lyann looks away and down. Well, she's the only one that knows we've reincarnated with our memories intact.

"You attack again and again. I am going to guess you don't care if you die in the attack because you will eventually appear back in your own realm, but for us, its different. If we were like you, our defenses wouldn't have collapsed this far, right?"
"Your reincarnation cicle may just be longer, or you may go to new worlds."
"I don't have any memories from previous lives." ~ Comments Aritsu as she lifts her hand.
"Neither do I." ~ Dawn chirps in
"That's just not how we are." ~ we say

A better plan would be for #3 to tell the other Infiltrators, have us kill #3, then send the other Infiltrator back to the [Discarded] dimension via one of our probes, and look for #3. If #3 is not found, then it proves us right.

>>
>>5041509
don't know let's wait Miellewds for clarification.
>>
>>5041509
The intention is that we prove to the others that #3 is getting mindwiped.
Right now, they all think that there is no mindwiping involved.
We want to prove that mindwiping is the same as death, and that the [Discarded] leadership are not only lying to the [Discarded] soldiers about the nature of death and reincarnation, but that they are also mindwiping the [Discarded] troops that come back.

This proves to the other Infiltrators that the [Discarded] leadership were lying to them about the purpose of this entire war.
>>
>>5041637
Ah I understood you correctly, then. It just sounded pretty callous to send the guy to "die" just to prove a point.

Im waiting for lunch delivery, will start typing after I'm done eating
>>
>>5041915
Maybe, but #3 is the one who asked to be sent back, to prove that memories aren't getting wiped.
If he wants to reconsider, then he's free to, but going back was his choice.
>>
>>5041915
>>5042000
I mean, the only alternative is to put #3 on a Probe and send him back, and watch him get mindwiped.

How do you prove that mindwiping is happening other than seeing it happen or getting the leadership to admit to it?
>>
>>5042003
Well, if we send him back and he sees that the discarded that participated in the invasion don't remember it, isn't that enough?
>>
>>5042015
Yeah, that should be enough.
Will #3 accept that, instead of his own plan of dying to prove his point?

Though, I suppose we should consider whether we want to allow someone with memories of the internal structure of the Keep and its defense systems to go back to our enemy.
>>
>>5042098

Could we give him false information about the Keep and the new weapons we've deployed, so that if he betrays us (or he gets his memories mindripped) then the [Discarded] will have false information?

Or would a simple precaution like that be considered insulting?
>>
>>5042107
>Could we give him false information about the Keep and the new weapons we've deployed, so that if he betrays us (or he gets his memories mindripped) then the [Discarded] will have false information?
I don't think we could. I mean, he's been in and around the keep for far longer than us, so knows it way better than we do. About our newly developed weapons, such, but maybe simply explaining to him that "in case your memories get read or tangled with, we can't give you any useful info" may be for the best?
>>
>>5042126
Okay, I suppose we'll have to do things like blindfold him so that he can't see what repairs are going on around the Keep, and tell him that we have to take precautions in case his memories are taken from him.

Then we go with
>Send him back to prove us right, risking his betrayal
The usage of spies is always difficult, as there's always the chance that they will betray you. And yet, they also are absolutely essential to victory in war.

The clean up after the battle will take at least a couple of weeks to make sure none of the [ERROR]s manage to sneak away into the countryside.

Being realistic, though, that's pretty much guaranteed to happen unless we seek Fleru's kin on them, and...

>Let's not, those plant girls are rather airheaded and are likely to just eat anything and everything... come think about it, maybe that is why they went out of fashion as pets.

>Let's not, those plant girls are rather airheaded and are likely to just eat anything and everything... come think about it, maybe that is why they went out of fashion as pets.
As much as I want to hunt down the [Discarded], those girls ate almost all of the undead troops from Sbastia before the battle started.

It'd be terrible if they ate people's things, let alone people, due to being hungry.

Instead, we should send out soldiers who have the Beast Tamer Job, and have a Plant Pet to hunt down the [Discarded].
>>
>>5048950
Hmm...wait, if the [Discarded] get away, they'd eat people too, wouldn't they?

Hey King, did we succeed in getting Eopolis soldiers trained in the Beast Tamer Job and having a Plant Pet in time so that the soldiers can be sent out to oversee the plants?

Some property damage is better than [Discarded] eating people.

Property damage is a small price to pay to not allow the [Discarded] to eat more people.

IIRC that's warrior -> hunter -> beastmaster so its not that easy, Maybe a couple hundred troops, top.
>>
>>5049161
Okay. I suppose even with our Leveling Strategy Guide, they couldn't make an organization like the army change gears that quickly.
Also limitations on Dungeons and having people high-level enough to powerlevel lower level soldiers.

>>We seek Fleur's kin unto them.

Alrighty then.

We never thought it was a good thing that cattle isn't a thing in this world until now, but apparently it was, as the cute but airheaded [Faery Queen] plants wander about eating anything that can't actually say "hey, don't eat me!".

We also make sure to let everyone know to tell them not to, just in case, making it a simple matter of "can it tell me not to eat it?" for the silly plant faeries.

Well, on the one hand, the amount of roaming monsters in the regions has gone down drastically. On the other hand, so has the amount of edible and/or medicinal herbs and similar resources but... well, safety has a price. Let's just make sure to pick them up afterward.

And now comes the fun-fun bit of asking all the imperial armies we invited into our capital to kindly go back home despite the overwhelming advantage of already being within artillery shot range of town...

So, what can we do to "kindly" remind the Imperial military to go home:
As a gracious host, I don't think it would be appropriate to just kick them out immediately.

They should be given quarters and shore leave, have their entertainment and food expenses footed by Eopolis, and their officers wined and dined with Eldric, in his dual capacities as Imperial Minister and Keeplord of Eopolis.

For when telling them they need to go home, we can give them written letters from Ren and Mako (that we Treestride to collect) congratulating them on their successful defense OF AN ALLY and that the Empress wishes to hear a full report personally from them.
That should be enough to douse any flames of ambition they might have, if their promotion is contingent on them getting home.

>We did just save the world, a week or so of vacation may be justified.

Picture not related to anything, I just like the idea that Lyann has super long hair. Hers is less pink, more neon red, though.

Asmund considers zombie and golem troops as equipment, and disposable equipment at that.
He probably isn't too concerned, because he knows we'll pay for replacements.
It's like we used up the eggs in the fridge, and he knows we're good for getting more when we next go shopping.

Okaba's sorcerer guards did contribute, but they also didn't suffer much casualties from what I recall.

I believe that the Empire should come before the Alquians; the Alquians take pride in the fact that they are DESCENDED from the Empire, and that they are a branch of the Empire.
They would oddly feel more insulted if they were placed before the Empire, I think, given how they have treated Mako.

I think Opal has to be at the end, simply because someone has to.

Ah, the joys of peacetime lordly politics now that the world isn't under threat of annihilation for another 10000 years. Now we gotta work extra hard to keep our coalition together and/or expand it.

And we now have time to go pick up the cute clothes we had made for Kya and Carmilla (and I think we got them something -like- a dollhouse/bird bath combo?), time skip a couple of weeks and have our birthday and wedding, etc before starting to plan the counter-invasion-cum-rebellion on the discarded side of the portal/black moon.

Anyway, waiting for another vote. Oh, do we want a big birthday? What about the wedding/s?
>>
>>5056079
>and I think we got them something -like- a dollhouse/bird bath combo
Yes, so that they can relax, play, and laze around.
Maybe we should get more than one, so that we can have them placed in our offices in Alquian capital and frontier, Eopolis, Albion, and our Mantequira office and manor?
They'll be full-size when at our island.

Oh, and we have to pamper Stella, pamper Zoe.
>>
>>5056079
>do we want a big birthday
Ah, we need to visit the shrine back at New Hope.
I think we should keep it at a medium formal birthday for our Eopolis, Mantequira and Alquian holdings. Now that we're in peacetime, we need to deal with nobles and make connections.

A smaller but more personal birthday with friends and family.

And then for the wedding, I think it has to be big, because of who we're marrying: Aritsu, Lyann, Kya, Dawn, Miel, Stella, Ren, Mako.
But I think we're just a Consort for Ren and Mako, so I don't know if there's an expectation for a wedding or not.
And we already told Zoe she has to wait a few more years.
And since we're a Duke and Imperial Consort, would Yin be able to marry us, or would that be considered a social faux-pas?

Speaking of the timeskip, I'd like to breed Tanis and Spelth'Gagoron. They both have been wanting children for a while now.
Though we'll need to make sure that the metals of their hoards are of the highest purity.

And would the maids living at our island manor have any marriage ceremonies they want with Lyann?

>>
>>5056087
I was going to say we can just carry it around in our inventory or item box, but I actually kind of like the idea of it being in the local architectural style of each place, so one per place seems better.

We can't openly/offically marry Mako or Ren. If you want to marry them, it'll have to be in secret, remember? Officially, we can't be more than a consort at best.

As for the maids x Lyann, I genuinely don't know? Their slave contract is just 5 years then they have the option to go back home. If they marry Lyann, they probably will stay and unless we impregnate them, never get to be mothers themselves. Or unless we poke Sykia until she coughs up a magical prosthetic penis or something. I mean, it is possible today to take cells from one woman to impregnate another, but that's with our world's tech, and she's a kinky, thirsty engineer with multiple degrees in oceanic structures and mechanical/electrical engineering, no biology there, so she's no better than us at that stuff.

I guess we could ask the goddess, if we cared about having girl A impregnate girl B to have girl B birth a girl we'd be completely unrelated to? We did promise Lyann to 'use her to breed sexy slavegirls' though I don't think that's what the players had in mind when they said that.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Ah, no, I had forgotten if we had confirmation that it had to be secret.
So secret wedding it is. I suppose only the Shadows of each will know, because trying to keep things secret from them would be pointless.

>Their slave contract is just 5 years then they have the option to go back home
Aren't most of them bonded with Lyann because she was the strongest person on the island most frequently? Is there a way to break that bonding?
As for impregnating a maid, I'm sure that Lyann would love the child as a child born of Eldric.

Ren is jealous of and in love with Lyann. She’d probably love the chance to impregnate her Lyann.

"Let us go together." ~ we state.
"Are you sure?" ~ Dawn looks at us while looking just a little bit surprised.
"Of course I am. I think going to thank our allies isn't even the bare minimum, after all. Also, shouldn't my cute strawberry maid have just accepted her master's words?" ~ we flick her forehead, hard enough for it to make a loud 'pan!' sound that fills the room, though of course its still not hard enough to actually hurt.

Well, she knows we're joking, as she covers her forehead with both hands and pouts slightly.

"Ye~es, I'm sorry, Master." ~ she apologizes with an smile
"Alright." ~ let's give her a little smooch. ~ "Let's begin by thanking the Royal Guard... Lyann, do you know where they are?"
"Yes, Master. They are at the outer walls still, taking shots at any stray [ERROR] they find, and talking with the soldiers there."

We nod,

"E-eh!? We're starting with our family's guards?" ~ Aritsu stiffens for a bit, before catching up to us.
"Yes, I will be taking their princess from them, I am sure they want to see you."
"Y-yes!" ~ ah, our elfie princess looks lovely when she blushes.

Let's hold her hand and make her blush more.

What we didn't expect, however, was for our elfie princess' twin to be here along with the royal guards. I guess we should have? I mean, they're the royal guards and these two princesses are all the royal family left.

She asks to stay wherever Aritsu is staying, which gives us a brief pause...I guess we're staying at the keep to stay close by to the command center.

"In that case, I'll have a guest room prepared for you at the keep, your highness."

We thank her for bringing the royal guard, and are pleased to hear that they had almost no losses. Lazard, the twin princesses' childhood friend, has been promoted to a high-ranking noble, which should make their wedding a far less controversial business, though Sinoe seems to want to talk more about this at a later time.

Once we leave her presence and head to the next delegation, Aritsu thanks us for seeing her countrymen first.

Even if we had known that Sinoe was here, we would have needed to weigh the necessity of who to meet with, as Yellowleaves is technically not a member of the Coalition, but Sbastia and Opal are.
Aritsu would appreciate Eldric taking his role and responsibilities seriously, so seeing him think things through would make her happy.

Probably quite a bit too. We'll probably be really busy helping with reconstruction. Thankfully the [ERROR]s didn't made it into the city's inhabited areas, but the countryside surrounding the walls is basically a different place now.

Artillery, magic, [ERROR]s and more washed over it for almost a full day, after all. The [ERROR]s bodies will sublimate unless preserved, too...

We need samples for the counter-invasion.
Also, remember that farmers in this world are high-level adventurer equivalents, because farms have a tendency for the crops to become monsters, and most food is from foodgeons.
The farmers may grumble that we’re not helping them enough, but they get enough support from Eopolis as it is. And if Grandpa wants to complain about how we’re prioritizing military and national interests above that of the common people, then we’ll point out that defending against an existential threat to the multiverse, and everyone actually being alive, is a greater priority.

We're going to end up working on them jointly with Asmund in the Eopolis lab anyway.

In the future, Sbastia might use what it learns from the [Discarded] to break from the Coalition or strike militarily against its neighbors. But that is a danger we must accept for continued cooperation and to keep that from happening.

The battle may be over, but the war continues.
We either fight the [Discarded] back in their universe, or we end up waiting another 10,000 years for their next invasion wave.

Also, we owe him for all of the undead troops that our gluttonous flowers ate before the battle.

Sorry I've been slow posting, I was designing these cards. If you don't play MtG, the numbers and symbols in the top right are the cost of the card, the number on the lower right is the Loyalty number, and the + or - numbers on the left edge are abilities that can rise or lower that card's loyalty to us (they 'go away' if their loyalty hits 0). One can use only 1 loyalty ability per turn.

Just pointing out, its neighbors are the elven principality of Quessir denial (that we never visited and didn't help), and us.

"Honestly, that's more than I was hoping for, and probably more than I need." - our friend admits - "I've read the lab reports, and their bodies sublimate soon after preservation is suspended anyway. Its not as if I could use them for new troops but surely there will be valuable data in this research."
"Well, we should hurry if we are going to preserve anything to begin with."

>>Alright, drop a couple of dozens and try to find elites.

We managed to recover eight 'elite' [ERROR]s by losing a little over two dozen footsoldiers. Not as large a sample of bodies, but definitively a much wider sample pool.

I wonder if its alright to call them species? The basic trooper are basically all the same, but the elites are all different. Built for a single purpose, probably.

Once we make it back into the keep, we are met by our adorable little puppy and kitty (Stella and Zoe) as they complain about us leaving them behind. But, they were doing a great job where they were, really, and its not as if we were planning on fighting anything.

"Hn. Respected older brother should spoil me more..." - Ah, Zoe looks so cute when she's pouting.

Well, that's mostly because she's usually so well-behaved. It's the gap, you know? The gap.

"E-eh? ...a d-date with respected older brother...?"

Alright according to that assuming its 7pm here, Mako is literally falling already asleep right now because she was brought up on a careful schedule by Ami and Mai and was -[I]never[/i]- allowed to go to bed later than 10, so she's pretty much conditioned to fall asleep at around this time no matter what.

Yes, yes, we're not the dense type of MC, alright?! We'll love you tenderly tonight.

"That... won't be possible." - we smile softly at our kitty and gently rub her head - "You should go to sleep on time, and I'll be up until late."

Well, the clone is wearing a military uniform, so we can easily tell her apart from our lovely redhead. Reaching for Lyann's hand, we pull her with us into the gazebo right in the middle of the little plaza within the rear garden's hedge maze, and immediately pull her up and towards us so we can kiss her.

“Thank you for everything today.” ~ We say as soon as our lips pull apart from hers.

Well, 'she' died while assisting Stella... which reminds us to properly thank our puppymouto as well, and Aritsu for daringly jumping unto the falling walker to rescue what was left of her... uh, the girls were pretty heroic today, weren't they?

“Your gratitu-” ~ we shush her with a kiss.

She was going to say 'your gratitude is wasted on this slave' or something like that, wasn't she? Well, she's wrong, so let's keep her shushed for a little bit.

Our hands reach in under our beautiful redheaded slave's light, flowing dancer's silks and wrap around her thin waist so we can pull her in and up towards our lips, holding her in place with ease even as she whimpers and moans, her legs rising to wrap around us as she tries to hug us while we position ourselves so she's sandwiched between us and one of the gazebo's pillars.

“Ah~” ~ she cooes sooftly while lifting her hands and curling them softly before her shoulders, her soft, gorgeous body completely held in place for us to kiss.
“Thank you.” ~ we repeat, and shush her again when she tries to speak.

With her long legs now wrapped around us, our hands roam up and down over her to reach down and cup her bottom and up to hold her breast at the same time.

Our fingers twist, rub, pull, prode and poke at her body while our tongue bullies her own. We can tell her delicious body growing soft, hot, hard and wet in every right way until she starts to shiver.

“Master, your slave begs to cum...” ~ we are a little surprised to hear coming from the side.

Right, we are used to thinking of them as clones but she's a 'swarm' now, so maybe we should think of 'them' as 'her' instead?

“Mistress Mako and lady Stella have consented already...” ~ she continues.

Kissing at her lips again, we linger, suckle and even bruise before trailing down her chin and neck, our fingers continuing to roam, caress, twist, pull, prod and probe at her gloriously female body until we feel her stiffen.

"Master, mistress Ren has given us a countdown..." ~ she announces from the side.
"Start. Loud and clear." ~ we say, as we gently lick and suckle at the nape of her neck
"Ten..."
"Pull it in." ~ we tell her, our next actions explain our words for us.

We reach further down and take hold of her plug's head, gently pulling on it, a lewd, sloshing sound announcing our pulling on it and the subsequent 'sucking in' as she pulls it back inside, her lower body tensing up as her legs tighten around our hips and her body grows bright red.

"Five..." ~ comes from the side
"M-master...!" ~ comes from her lips right against ours

We caress, pull and twist as our lips cover hers. She is trembling like a leaf in a hurricane by the time the count is at one, and we have to push our lips over hers to keep her sensual cry muffled. Even so, more than enough of her sweet nectar lands on the gazebo's lacquered wooden floor to pool there.

"You did great today. I love you." ~ we repeat gently as we step back to sit down on a wooden bench.
"This slave loves you, Master." ~ she replies from the side as the body on our lap is still trembling and in heat.
"I know, you're my treasure." ~ we tell her, then add...

>"Lick it clean."
>"Clean it up."

...with an obvious target.

"Once you've calmed, we'll go and meet Ren." ~ we kiss her again ~ "Then you can thank her again."

Oh, we should help get a new generation of Shadows ready for our children with Ren and Mako.
>>
>>5065232
It was brought up already, but the fact is that it's basically already prepared. We could help with the generation for our grandchildren, though.

With Mai, Ami & Mia's generation as #11070, #11071 is a little over 10 years old already, so when the girls inside Ren's womb are born, they'll have their own shadows assigned to them when they're 5, and their shadows will be 15.

As usual, the one their teachers evaluate as the absolute best will stay behind to breed the next gen, so we could 'help' with that gen. It would be in a little over 5 years, though. Which reminds me, we could take that chosen breeder, make her a pet and evolve her like we did with Lyann to have her copy traits from our other pets if we are serious about helping.

Well, we could do that even with the current and the next gen of shadows, though. Any suggestions for positive traits we'd want a bunch of shadowy bodyguard/agents to have? Also I need tp be in the hospital in 5 hours for an appointment, just mentioning it so I have it written somewhere. Easier to keep track of that way.

Oh, speaking of keeping track of, what are Lyann's extra bodies wearing right now? The one we made for HQ and the Alquian LEV Dreadnoght, I mean.

Actually if we asked her, she doesn't really feels like she has an 'original body'. Rather, they are all 'her' so its okay even if the 'original' gets killed so long as there's a copy left anyway.

We nod to Mia, and head over towards the office, pulling Lyann by the hand as our beloved redhead does her best to follow as gracefully as possible while sporting a beautiful full body blush that looks like it won't go away.

Honestly, she looks terribly sexy right now. This should be something like a mix between freshly showered and freshly... well.

Ah, she's blushing brighter each time we pass one of the lion guards, wh- right, their nose. We forgot that's why [Cleanse] isn't enough around our puppy and kitty imoutos.

...well, if they mind, they really aren't showing it.

As we arrive at the office, we find Yin alone, flanked by two plates with documents, each a little under an inch thick.

Oh! Right, we called our cute flock over to Eopolis to help as scouts. We should probably give them lots of ´headpats and praise later for it. We've been raising them as fine office ladies that can work and mingle with 'people' seamlessly after all, not as fighting/farming pets.

"Oh, lord, you are here!" - she stops her work to bow - "These are documents that need only your signature, and these I'd be grateful if you could review first."

She gestures to one small pile and then the other in turn.

"Alright." - We sit at our own desk and wait for her to bring them over.

By the way, while this culture's theme is definitively 'fantasy Asia', it is more than just 'fantasy Japan' so the desks are regular height desks rather than low tables. Also, we have proper chairs.

Uh, I wonder if we should change it for low tables and have workers kneel on pillows? I understand its better for the back.

>Sure, it may seem a bit odd, but it would just add a touch of personality to our office.
>No, this is fine.
>No. Furthermore, let's get a large desk with enough room for a girl to crouch under... just a random example, don't think too much into it

"Immediately, sir." ~ She begins by bringing us the plate with documents we can just sign

>Read over them anyway, we trust her but it isn't bad to check anyway.
>Just sign them.
>Come think about it, if we add her to our [Menagerie] even for just a moment, she won't be able to go against us afterwards, right? That way we can trust/delegate into her even more.

Changed the card, realized it was looping into infinity since it was placing clue tokens because it placed a clue token.

May change it again to just "scary 1" when a permanent comes into play. Scry lets you look at the top (1) card of your deck, and if you don't like it, you can place it at the bottom instead, but the clues feel more like her job description since she's checking cargo manifests and such, so she's investigating costs, budgets, expense claims, etc.

Also, did you like that pic for her card, or should I go with something more cuddly?

>No, this is fine.
Just get ergonomic chairs.

>Read over them anyway, we trust her but it isn't bad to check anyway.
I trust her, I just want to know what's going on so that we can properly report to Ren.

If you have one, a more cuddly picture may be better.

I wonder if we could find those... more likely we'll have to get a custom job made somewhere.

I am confident we could ask Sykia for some, but also worried about what other 'furniture' she will come up with if we remind her of the topic.

Waiting for another vote

A chair with a dildo?

<-- You assume it won just be a dildo with an horizontal crossbar, standing on a base, perhaps with wheels. And that assumes there even will be a horizontal bar at all. I'm thinking of something like pic related. Just a firm base, an equally firm 'pedestal' with two dildos. Someone OTHER than the person on it can shorten of lengthen the pedestal to release/trap a cute girl in place for ... whatever naughty purposes.

"Uhm... Master?" MU Lyann is holding OG Lyann by her upper arms, helping her to stand while we start checking the documents.

Right.

Right, we shouldn't aim to mewdify our cute harpies work place. We are however planning to take full advantage of our blessed situation and push all our lusts into our little island, though...

Maybe we could get some lewd-purpose furniture for the island? Hmm...

Anyway, we sift through the documents quickly, finding that most of it is rewards and ceremony expenses to welcome the navy upon their return. Of course, it is Ren's prerogative to, with the admiral's office presenting worthy cases, to approve of the awards and ceremonies.

Our job is just budget-wise.

>Approve the budget for a large national festival
>Approve the budget for a new annual celebration
>Approve the budget for a single lavish dinner for all the medal-and -award recipients.

Furthermore

>Approve well-off pensions for wounded veterans
>Approve pensions equivalent to their regular salaries
>Approve pensions a little smaller than their regular salaries.

Wait, the navy mostly did long-distance bombarding unto the enemy, right? There were wounded? I guess accidents happen.

Yup, let's give them a hero's welcome... and let's not encourage anybody to get hurt. Its only fair to continue to pay full salary to combat vets that got hurt following their empress' orders, but let's not encourage people to get hurt on purpose, ok?

And now for the ones we actually had to read yes or yes...

It's mostly two lab reports. A new discovery on materials science offers two options:

>Fast-growing homes that can be stimulated to grow this or that way, thus 'growing' extra rooms as needed for cheap, durable and attractive homes.
>Carefully monitored and shaped tools, weapons, and armor.

Since one goes for big and the other goes into detail, they are mutually exclusive, though perhaps we could revisit "the other path" at a later date.

Hmm

I think this might be more immediately useful, to house the people displaced by the fighting.

Once everyone has full gellies and a fire in their heart, we can start worrying about moving things forth. And for that, having a heart is certainly important.

Well, we sign on the [Self Growing Homes] research budget, and make a mental note to ask about it from time to time, then hand it over to Yin.

"Is that all?" ~ we ask her
"Ah, yes Sir!"
