/qst/ - Quests

It is a time of peace. With Lord Freeza’s explosive declaration, naming himself Emperor of the Universe after single-handedly obliterating the Covenant stronghold High Charity, peace has come to the universe. Not wanting to stand against him and his unstoppable Super Saiyans, within days of his declaration the universe bent the knee. And while there are always outliers, those stubborn or foolish enough to try and resist, the overwhelming majority of the universe is bending the knee. And he wouldn’t have achieved all this, defeated the strongest military in the universe and survived the Prophet’s ultimate weapon without your help.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, the story of an alternate timeline in the greater Dragonball EU. Currently it is Age 750 and you the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power recognized across the universe. Now as a PTO general with a powerlevel of over 51 million, and close friend and confidant of Lord Freeza himself, Emperor of the Universe, Karn has become his people’s greatest champion.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

The tournament reached the quarterfinals, each of the four matches being more intense than the last. Broly defeated Kaliflor Clan-Clan and her bestial transformation with a doubled-up Event Horizon, then Tatsu fought Kakarot until Tomitsu stepped in. Yet despite Tomitsu’s aid, Tatsu’s body can’t support that power for long by himself, and Kakarot outlasts him. Chaya vs Parsla is next, and despite the younger woman constantly increasing her power, the gap between herself and Chaya proves too insurmountable. And during the final quarterfinal match, Chilli managed to entrap Triumph inside his crystals, yet it’s second form could escape and badly burned Chilli’s face as he tried to choke out his sister. He eventually gets the win, but as we rejoin Karn Chilli dropped lifelessly to the ground, you seeing an unfamiliar figure standing on some strange metal craft hovering where your son had been.

“Fraggin magic bastich.” he says, holding some sort of gun his left hand while around his right arm you see a long chain ending in a large bloody, bladed hook. That with a flick of his wrist re-wraps itsef around his arm. Glancing to Chilli you notice a gaping wound in his back, blood soaking his robe and realize what happened. This bastard attacked your son!
“May the crimson flames burn you forever in hell!!” Megumin screams, standing over her husband with her staff held high overhead and pointed menacingly at the creature. “EXPLOOOOSION!!”
“What the-?” the figure says, but is cut off by Megumin’s attack.

KABOOOOM

Where the figure was is replaced by a tremendous explosion, the blast consuming Chilli’s attacker entirely. For a few seconds anyway, as the figure sweeps the smoke cloud away with his hand.

“Wh-What?!” Megumin says, recoiling as she sees her strongest(and possibly only) attack did absolutely nothing to him. “N-No way!”
“Fraggin magic.” he says, pulling back his right arm and throws the hook at both her and Chilli.
“NOOOOO!!” Meloka shouts, rising up to dash towards your daughter-in-law. But there’s no way she can make it in time. You reach out, trying to grab the hook with telekinesis, but it slips right through your grip. Almost as if it resisted it somehow. The giant blade flies right at Megumin, but at the last second there is a flash of gold. You blink, and see the imposing form of Golden Freeza holding the blade between his thumb and finger casually. And to further disrespect this would-be assassin, Freeza turns to face Megumin and Caulifla as you set Maz and Kayle down in your seat, raising your right hand.

“Be a dear, you two, and take Chilli out of the line of fire. Quickly.” he says, turning up to face the attacker. “Now, as for you: I would suggest you dodge.”

cont
>>
>>5041921
“Dodge?” he asks, your Instant Transmission bringing you right to his left side. Before he can process this, you swing with a heavy left fist square into his jaw. “Wha-GUUUUH!!”
“You bastard!!” Meloka roars, appearing a few feet behind him via Instant Transmission as well. Before he can recover, or even react really Meloka draws her dual blades and thrusts them both straight through his spine, impaling the attacker. The unknown man’s blood sprays from his chest and throat as he looks down, shocked that he’s been so injured. “Now die!”

Jerking both blades, she pulls her left blade in his chest down and out his left side, under his ribs while with the right cuts through the side of his neck, nearly severing it entirely before her blades are free. The would-be assassin’s body drops lifelessly, flopping to the arena floor by Freeza’s feet. But he doesn’t stay down, and as he rises back up to his feet, his injuries begin healing themselves!

“Gah! That one fraggin hurt!” he snarls, rubbing his rapidly-healing neck as he ignores Freeza, looking up towards you and Meloka. “Now, which one of you-Huh?”
“So, you can regenerate after taking significant damage? Interesting.” Freeza says icily, his fist now poking clear through the man’s chest. You’d been watching yhe entire time, yet never saw your friend move. “I’ll ask you once nicely, before the torture begins: who sent you, and why are you here?”
“The main man never kills and tells.” he says smugly, reaches behind his back with one arm, and grabs Freeza by the head. “EAT SHIT AN’ DIE!!”

Then with surprising force he suddenly flips Freeza up and over himself, slamming the emperor down into the arena floor like it’s nothing. And you realize that this fighter is a lot more dangerous than you’d first thought. With Freeza down, stunned by the hit your son’s attacker then looks back up at you and Meloka, the kids seemingly forgotten.

“Hey you! Yeah, you!” he shouts, pointing at you with his bloody hook. “You’re him, right? The Dragon of New Salda, or whatever it’s called?”

“Divine Dragon Force.” you call, your Stand materializing around your right arm with a bellowing roar. But Lobo doesn’t react, you taking your fighting stance as Meloka begins gathering her ki. “You ready?”
“Let’s end him.” your Stand answers, snarling at the assassin. “But be careful. This fighter wields incredible power.”
“I’ll cover you.” Meloka answers at the same time as your Stand, not able to hear it. “Go.”

Then as soon as she speaks, Meloka fires a pair of Scattershots down at the assassin. She’s not worried about harming Freeza, as those attacks aren’t enough to even scratch his golden hide. Lobo seems unconcerned as well, not even guarding himself as her attacks crash down and explode on and around him. Yet the instant her attacks begin exploding you dash down, drawing your right arm back to punch straight through his chest.

“Hmph!” the assassin calls, sweeping his left hand and clearing the smokescreen instantly. As he does, he sees you’ve already closed most of the distance. “HA! Nice try!”

He then brings his left hand’s weapon back up, firing bolts of energy at you. Fortunately, at your full Ascended Berserker power, the shots are moving far too slow to hit you. With ease you dance between the slow-moving beams, swiftly closing the distance between you and him. After dodging a half-dozen beams you’ve closed the distance, fully drawing back your arm back to strike.

“This is for Chi-GAH!!” you exclaim, as the man swings his right arm forward lightning quick and stabs the hook straight through your chest. “W-What?”
“And that makes two.” he says with a wicked grin. “Dirty fraggin dolphin kill-“
“HAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, swinging your right fist as well. Before this guy can pull away you slam your fist and Stand both into his chest, Divine Dragon Force bellowing as it grows and swiftly binds him in place. “You lose.”
“GUAAH! What the frag-Woah!” he exclaims as your Stand wraps around to face him. “Is that a dragon?!”
“D-Divine Dragon Force.” you say, painfully coughing up blood but not breaking eye contact. “End him.”

cont
>>
>>5042077
“Wait, what are-GYAAAAAAAAA!!” he says, then screams out in pain as your Stand turns his energy back on him. It begins right around the hole in his chest, the unknown assassin’s body swiftly disintegrating. “You bastich! I’m gonna skull-frag ya!!”

And then to your surprise pulls his right arm free as he grabs his hair in his left, exposing his neck. Then to your shock, takes his bladed hook and decapitates himself!

“Wh-What?!” you shout, completely shocked by the man killing himself. But as his torso completely disappears, he swing his left arm down and clocks you in the head. With his own head!
“GAAAH!!” you cry out, yet manage to plant your foot and keep your balance. You’re not letting him live, reaching out with your left and grabbing the assassin’s head. “GRRRAAAAA!!”

Then with a roar clamp down with all your strength, shattering his skull in your grip. Blood sprays everywhere as your hand grinds his head to paste. The rest of his body disappears over the next few seconds, destroyed by his own energy and leaving only your blood and his own sprayed around where he’d been standing. It’s over. Or so you thought.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=tNW9lmujZxU

From the blood of the arena, you see the man’s body rising up out of the bloody puddle. Over the next few seconds his body completely reforms, cracking his neck.
“Not gonna lie, that was a pretty good attack.” you hear the assassin speak as his clothes and even bladed hook reform. “But you’re gonna need more than that to keep the Main Man down!”
“What are you?” you say, trying to push yourself back up despite your injuries.
“The name’s Lobo, the Ultimate Bastich.” he says with a smirk, and starts walking over as you stagger back up to your feet, clutching the gaping hole in your chest. “An’ someone’s payin’ a heap o’ cash for me to bring them your head.”

“Damn, another assassin?” you think to yourself, blood dripping out between your fingers. And he can regenerate as well. He must have known that being connected to his body would have completely obliterated him, which is why he decapitated himself. You’re gonna have to destroy his head to put him down for good.

But how? What do you do?
>Rush and attack again, one good hit to the head and you can end this!

Yes. That chain slipped through our telekinetic grip. Though I wonder if it's the chain itself or is it Lobo who is making it work this way. I found info on one website "https://characterprofile.fandom.com/wiki/Lobo"
It says that Lobo:
>>>"Can easily break through magical barriers."
This trait applies him but perhaps it also applies to any weapon he is holding making anything he wields more dangerous then it normally would be. Our telekinesis may be close enough to magic to be affected by Lobo's anti-magic like effect.

“If that won’t work, then let’s see you handle this one.” you say, raising your right hand to your forehead. At the same time, you reach out telepathically to Meloka. “Can you hold him off for a second or two for me hun?”
“Of course. Cauli’s already escaped with Chilli thanks to Raven.” Meloka tells you, as you focus on Caulifla’s ki all the way over on Raven’s Isand. “Lord Freeza and I can handle this until you get back.”
“Show me what’cha got, ya bastich!” Lobo calls as he begins swinging his bladed chain overhead in a circle three times before slinging it at you. The instant he does, Meloka’s Ki Blades send several dozen Ki Needles directly into his back. “What the-?”

But you don’t see what happens next, your Instant Transmission carrying you from the arena directly to your daughter’s side. Chilli’s still out, your daughter’s Stand rising back up and showing you that his injury has been healed.

“Gah!” you wheeze, dropping down to a knee as your body starts giving out. You’ve lost a lot of blood already, you need to heal up before getting back in there. “Dammit that hurts.”
“D-Daddy?!” Caulifla shouts worriedly, directing Triumph to you. “What happened?”
“He got me good.” you tell her, falling back to the ground and giving her Stand a clear view of your injury. “That bastard’s a regenerator too. Even Divine Dragon Force couldn’t take him out in one shot.”
“Severing his energy like that was clever.” Divine Dragon Force says, appearing around your arm. “But now you must be cautious. He has now seen me, and will able to perceive me when we head back into the fight.”

“So no more sneak attacks.” you reply, thinking it over. “At least not initially. And he’s going to be at least a little worried of what you can do to him.”
“Indeed. From what I could feel of his energy, he is at least as powerful as Lord Freeza.” your Stand says. “And he could easily be even stronger.”
“Wait, that guy’s even stronger than Lord Freeza?” Caulifla asks, terror in her voice. “What do we do? What can we do?”
“We aren’t going to do anything.” you say, turning to Raven. “He’s after me, and Chilli. Send him to Raxus Prime.”
“Understood.” she replies, opening a portal before telekinetically grabbing your son. She lifts his unconscious body up, and gently carries him through then closes it behind him. “What about you? Are you going as well?”

Which is a fair question. If you and Chilli leave, there would be no reason for that powerful assassin to stay here. But on the other hand, he doesn’t seem to be the sort to just pack up and go home. He might attack the rest of your family just because he can.

“No way in hell am I running from this bastard.” you reply, bringing your hand back to your forehead. “When Chilli wakes up, let him know what’s ha-“

KABOOOOOOM

You all turn, hearing a blast echoing from the direction of the arena. You turn back to Raven, and continue what you were saying.

“When he wakes up, let him know what happened.” you tell Raven, focusing and bringing your Energy Body back up to full power. “And if he’s up before it’s over, tell him to stay put.”

Then without another word focus on Freeza’s ki, and Instant Transmission right over to him. And you realise that it was a bad idea. Freeza’s holding Lobo in a full nelson, Meloka overhead with her ki gathered in both hands pointed at the two of them. Freeza, hidden safely behind the larger man, is clearly holding him to take the blast directly.

“BLADESTORM!!” Meloka roars, unleashing a hellstorm of large Ki Needles down at the three of you. And that’s when you see it, Lobo’s tensed up ready to flip Freeza over his head with a frontflip! Just before he, grabbing onto Freeza’s head with both hands you move, dashing behind them both and grabbing onto both Lobo’s wrists.
“Wait, wha-?” he starts as you lift him by his arms up towards Meloka, just as her attack hits. The first few dozen strike the large assassin across the face and torso, then exploding simultaneously. “GAAAH!”

But they don’t stop there, as hundreds of the Ki Needles keep raining down on you all. Fortunately Lobo’s body is large enough to mostly shield you, the few needles that strike you barely pierce far enough into your Energy Body for you to feel it. Explosion after explosion goes off, as the needles embedded into Lobo’s body keep exploding. After a half minute or so Meloka’s attack ends, you and Freeza both dropping the mangled body of Lobo and leaping back away from him.

“Ow. Now that one hurt.” he says, rising back to his feet as his body swiftly begins regenerating. He turns back around, seeing you and Freeza and grinning. “Ohh, there you are. Now, how ‘bout I take that head of yours off ya shoulders for ya?”

Ubo has yet to die immediately, so he's already in the top 10% as far as Karn's opponents go.
>>
>>5042420
Fuck, meant to say Lobo.
Their names are so similar that I got em mixed up.
>>
>>5042350
“You really think you can stop me?” you ask him confidently, emerald aura hardened around you like a full-body suit of armor. “I’m ready for you now.”
“Man, you ain’t ready for the Main Man.” he says, pulling his hook back and immediately throw it at you. It flies too fast for you to dodge, and instead fully trust in your Energy Body to take the hit as you rush him. The blade flies straight at your chest, and to Lobo’s clear shock strikes your energy and bounces off! “What?!”
“I’m ending this!” you roar, closing the distance and wrapping the smaller man in a powerful bear hug. “Time for you to die.”

“Wait, Karn!” Meloka shouts worriedly as you explode off the ground, dragging the would-be assassin high into the air above the arena.
“You bastich!” he roars, drawing his head back and slamming his forehead into your nose. And even with your Energy Body active, the blow still crunches your nose painfully. “Let me go!”
“I won’t let you come after my family.” you reply, drawing your head back and returning the favor. Your forehead crashes into his nose, audibly breaking it amidst Lobo’s unique swears of “Fraggin bastich!” With him distracted by the hit you release your energy, ending the shield around you and drawing forth all of your ki. Your energy swells, emerald aura blazing as you rise higher and higher into the sky. Hopefully far enough that those still in the crowd are out of range. “Let’s see if you can survive this! RED DAWN!!”

“Oh shi-!”Lobo says, his voice drowned out by you roaring in fury as you unleash everything. You hold nothing back, energy surging out of your body from all directions in an unstoppable crimson wave. The last thing you see is the assassin’s face as your crimson energy floods your vision, roaring so loud you cannot hear, all of your senses blanking out under the tremendous force of your ki. For at least thirty seconds you cut loose, unleashing the full force of your tremendous strength all at once. The attack is so powerful you feel it begin scorching the inside of your own arms, Lobo having been blasted to nothing in your arms. Feeling this you end the attack, the remaining energy of your attack fading over the next few seconds. You’re left alone in the sky, chest heaving from the exertion as you begin dropping straight down. Not bothering to expend the energy to keep aloft you crash down feet-first back on tue stage, cracking the tile as you land then again as you drop to your hands and knees, catching your breath.

cont
>>
>>5042468
“D-Dammit.” you say, despite your ki already near-fully recovered from the attack your body still hasn’t, chest heaving as you try to recover. Over the ringing in your ears you barely hear the crowd roaring, Meloka coming up and laying a hand on your shoulder. She says something to you, but you can’t hear it. Suddenly you feel it! The distinct feeling that you’re in danger, and need to move NOW. So without hesitation you shove Meloka aside. The moment you do, a tremendous force slams into you, crashing down and sending you down through the tile.

“GAAAH!!” you cry out, bones groaning under the sudden pressure yet fortunately nothing snaps. After a moment that force disappears, you pushing yourself back upright to see what happened. Looking aside you see Meloka perched on the assassin’s back, stabbing him repeatedly in the back with her alternating Ki Blades.
“YOU BASTARD! I’LL KILL YOU!!” Meloka roars, accentuating each syllable with a stab of her blades. Which quickly frustrates Lobo, who leaps into the air and tries slamming back-first down on the ground. Meloka leaps aside at the last second, firing a dozen Ki Needles at him as she flies back from him. Her attacks all find their mark, the needles all exploding simultaneously.

“Why’re ya bastiches makin’ this so fraggin difficult?” he asks, rising back to his feet in the smoke kicked up from Meloka’s attack. And by the time it clears, Lobo’s once more fully recovered from the previous attack. “I just need his and the kid’s heads. But if y’all keep gettin in my way, I’ll kill you too.”

What is it gonna take to put this bastard down?

“You’re not killing anyone today! HRRAA!!” you roar, reactivating your Energy Body and charging at him. He crosses his arms as you pull your right fist back, and seeing his defense change your attack at the last second. Twisting your upper body counterclockwise, you change your straight right to an uppercut. Your fist slams into his crossed arms from the bottom, striking his arms and punching through, sending his arms flying back overhead and knocking him off-balance.
“What the-?!” he exclaims, your left elbow interrupting him as you spin and slam it square into his face. Lobo’s blood sprays as he staggers back, clutching his face and leaving his core wide open. Which you take full advantage of, dropping down almost to your right knee as you drive that same fist square into his guts. Then before he can recover you twist, exploding up to your feet and driving a jaw-crushing left uppercut into his chin. “GAAH!! You bastich!!”

As Lobo roars he plants his feet, lacing his fingers together and goes to swing both hands down at your head as you twist around for a roundhouse. But as he does, you see a violet disc of energy suddenly slice clean through both of his arms from behind!

“I don’t think so.” Freeza says smugly, leaving the assassin completely defenseless and covering you as your right heel swings around for his head.
“BAS-!!” is all he can say before your heel crashes right into his temple, sending Lobo staggering back. “GAAAH!!”
“HYAAAAAAA!!” Meloka roars, dashing in from his right and slices Lobo’s right leg apart at the knee. She continues her spinning motion, following her right blade with her left, the left blade cutting through his left shin.
“BASTICH!!” he snarls, dropping down onto his stumps as you grab him by the head and drive your left knee square into his face. You feel his nose crunch, launching his body back out of your hands. As his body’s sent back, Meloka lands on her feet, twisting and throwing both of her Ki Blades at him. One stabs into the left side of his torso, the other into the side of his head. Which stuns him a moment, then both blades explode. “GAAAAA!!”

“Get clear!” Freeza shouts, you looking up and seeing him holding his Death Ball with a finger overhead. “SHYAAAAAA!!”

And he throws the bomb down.

cont
>>
>>5042642
“Shit!” you say, and not having time to escape cross your arms in front of yourself defensively. His orb drops onto the helpless Lobo, the assassin roaring out in frustration and pain.
“I am tired of dealing with you!” Freeza calls, and thrusts his hand at the ball. The orb bursts, detonating in a planet-shaking blast that scorches you even through your Energy Body. You let the attack’s burst push you back instead of trying to resist it, getting you clear of any potential surprise attacks from the unkillable assassin. After Freeza’s blast ends, where Lobo was has been replaced by a crater nearly the size of the entire stage, only the corners remaining standing. Looking down into the hole you don’t see anything, but expanding your ki sense you can feel him. Lobo’s still alive! “That should finish this.”

“He’s still not dead, stay sharp!” you call, scanning the crater for him. You can sense his ki, but it’s faint: not strong enough to sense where he is but enough to realize he’s still alive. Where is he hiding? “Meloka, Freeza, can either of you tell where he is?”
“No, not-“ Freeza says, when suddenly Lobo’s giant hook emerges from the depths of the hole. Before either you or Meloka can react it soars up at Freeza, who despite trying to dodge isn’t fast enough! “Gyuh!”

Then he’s jerked down at the ground, Lobo exploding up out of the ground and lunging for Freeza, a metal knife held in his left hand. And as you leap up at the two, desperately trying to get there in time, Lobo swings.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=_Ne-vSCj8p8

“KYAAAAAA!!” Freeza cries out in agony as Lobo drives his boot knife right into Freeza’s right eye. At this you freeze, shocked: completely stunned seeing Freeza being injured like this.
“Get yer ass outta my way!” Lobo snarls, jerking both hook and knife free by kicking Freeza in the gut with his boot. You watch your friend drop, body crashing limply to the ground. “Now, where did you go?”
“You....You....!” you say, clenching your fists as your entire body trembles. And for the first time in years, lose yourself fully to your rage. “GRRROOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAR!!”

Your Energy Body shatters as you roar, a deep hatred and something dark rising up from somewhere deep within you.

They saw Frieza go down wounded, but they're about to witness Karn commit the most brutal murder the universe has ever seen in response. >>

>'Maybe we don't fuck with Frieza and his rage-ape friend.'
This is the greatest part about this quest, our Freeza is one of the privlidged few to get his life goals, a best friend, and a people that truely care for him, plus, points with Dad and pissing off his BIIIIITCH of a brother. And the rest of his counterparts will be stuck playing second fiddle to a literal braindamaged retard, and his angsty sidekick.

As Freeza falls you see several memories of you and the em-no. You and your friend. And the many days training and sparring, even the battles you’d fought against each other. But they’re all washed away as your mind replays what you’d just seen, and Freeza’s lifeless body dropping down to the ground. You feel something dark, something more primal and ferocious than any you’ve felt before rising up within you. And for a moment you try reflexively, instinctually suppressing this surge of dark emotions threatening to overwhelm you. But as you see him still laying there, unmoving as Meloka rushes to his side, something inside your chest just breaks.

“GRRRRRRYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you throw your head back and roar, a sound full of anguish and pain as what feels like fire courses throughout your body. That dark, ugly sensation continues to rise up from deep inside of you as your energy keeps surging higher and higher, a bolt of lightning striking down from the darkening skies as the air itself trembles. You cut loose everything, dropping every last restraint and shattering any mental barrier between you and this power. No matter what it takes, this bastard’s gonna PAY! “HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

“What the frag?” Lobo asks, looking at you confused.
“Karn...” Meloka says worriedly, before teleporting the badly-wounded Freeza to her daughter’s side.
“Show them, Karn.” Vegeta says, having still been sitting to this point rising to his feet watching as his people’s hope, their strongest warrior reaches deep and begins tapping into a power yet unseen. “Show them all your true power!”
“What’s dad doing?” Chaya asks Broly, the two oldest of Karn’s children standing between the younger four and the battle unfolding. “What is this.”
“That’s my son.” Tatsu says with a smirk, holding onto the two youngest as they continue to cry with his one arm, reality itself warping and colors radiating out from Karn that change the entire world. “Do it.”

“RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!” you roar, fully oblivious to everything happening outside yourself as your might continues rising higher and higher. Your entire body feels pushed to the limit, as if your arms and legs are going to tear off from the pressure, but you don’t relent! You need more! So you keep digging, deeper and deeper and bringing more and more of this unfamiliar power up from deep within. “HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”

And with a final, soul-wrenching scream explode! Your body cannot contain what you’re becoming, tearing itself to shreds in a flash of blinding emerald light.

cont
>>
>>5042733
As the last echoes of your scream die out, the blinding light fading away, it all becomes so clear to you. You know what you have to do.

“What are you?” the dead man calls up. “Answer me you bastich! What the frag are you!?”

Lightning strikes just outside the arena as you glare down at the bastard who killed Freeza. You see raindrops begin falling on him as the wanna-be assassin looses his chain, swinging the heavy blade overhead in a circle as he readies to throw it at you. Just like he did to your friend Freeza! NO MORE!!

“RRRAAAAAAAA!!!” you bellow, the instantly closing the distance between yourself and the dead man. Before he can react you grab both his wrists, and obliterate his entire torso with a single kick. Your blow kicks up a windstorm, the lesser beings around you crying out in terror as many are simply blown away. But you don’t bother paying attention to them, as your prey is right here before you.
“Wh-What?” his head asks, clearly not able to follow what just happened. But you’re not done, oh no. You’re just getting started!
“HAAAAAA!!” you roar, slamming the arm in your right hand down on his head. The arm and his head both explode in a shower of gore, while Lobo quickly regenerates his body back up from his legs. The instant he does you swing the one held in your left, shattering his right collarbone and cleaving his torso in two. His arm slices through his body down and out over his left hip, you then following up with a backhanded swing to his skull. Again arm and head explode, you dropping the stump and driving both hands fingertips-first into his torso. “RRRAAAAAAAA!!”

With a roar you tear him in two, then grabbing both halves of the body slam them together. Flesh and bone explode out from the force of the impact, blood raining down on you.

“HRRRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar to the stormy sky, lightning crashing down beside you. Looking down you see Lobo reforming himself once more from a pile of gore, and again blitz down to him. Before he can even see you you reach out, grabbing his head with one hand and tearing it straight off his neck. Then you reverse the motion, slamming it back down into his torso then releasing it, again grabbing both arms by the wrists before raising your right leg and axe-kicking down through his head and splitting the man fully in half. But then the oddest thing happens: both halves of Lobo begin regenerating in your hands.

“Surprise ya bastich!!” both shout, simultaneously kicking and punching you in the face. But even combining their power, the two barely rock your head back as you snarl at them, dropping their arms and instead grabbing them both by the head. “Oh frag on a sti-!”
“RRAAAAAA!!” you roar, slamming the two of their skulls together. Both Lobo heads explode in a shower of blood and gore, bodies dropping limply to the ground at your feet. But they both quickly get back up, heads regenerating swiftly.

cont
>>
>>5042844
“HRRYAAAAA!!” you roar, driving your right fist through the one on that side’s chest, spinning around and then slamming him down onto the other. The two bodies explode in a spray of bones and vicera, splattering you in bits of your prey as the impact forms a crater. Yet as you rise back up to your full height, you see not two but several Lobo rising up out of it.

“C’mon ya bastich! It’s a party now!”
“Is that all ya got?”
“Eat lead ya dirty dolphin-killer!”
“Dibs on the liver!”
“Party? Who brought the booze?”

They all begin shouting as they rise up, lunging directly at you without any thoughts of living. Which is just fine for you, as with a roar you meet their charge.

“RRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, driving your fist through the first’s face and grabbing the one behind him’s spine, snapping it before backhanding a third and bisecting the pierced one with your left. You then kick a fourth with your left foot, obliterating his torso and spraying the one behind him in the face with rib shrapnel and bits of gore. Only for another to leap over himselves, hooked blade in both hands and drives it at your face. The blade glances off your right cheek, sliding across your face and cutting your right ear. With a snarl you retaliate, swinging your forehead forward and smashing his face in as yet more go around you. They go for your back with their blades, you feeling them strike your back in at least three seperate places. You spin clockwise, decapitating one with your right forearm before punching straight down with your left and splitting another clean in two. But they just keep coming, more and more Lobo rushing you from every side! You feel your frustration building, and with a roar let it all out. “RAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”

Your energy blazes out from your body, disintegrating the nearest dozen or so Lobo immediately, blowing even more to pieces and clearing a good dozen yards or so all around you. But they don’t stop, more Lobo rising from the ground and surrounding you!

“Now, let’s finish this.” one says to you, cracking his knuckles as his body finishes regenerating. You don’t care how many of him there are, you’re going to destroy them all!!

And that’s it for tonight. Are you ready to keep ripping and tearing, until it is done? Curious how this will all play out, and what else Lobo could have up his sleeves? Find out when episode 165 continues, 11 1/2 hours from now!
>>
>>5042846
Lobo is basically fueling Karn's bloodrage, this is getting bad....
>>
This is certainly going to be good practice for Buu. Have got to wonder how we can overcome this, though. If the ginder/red dawn didn't completely annihilate him past the point of return/regeneration, it will be tough to manage something that does (at least from Karn).

Raven/Chilli's magic needed, perhaps? I can't see us Dragon Force-ing the heads of all of these Lobo-clones.
>>
>>5042852
Chilli's death magic might be the way to go. If he has something that just renders the target dead, that might bypass regeneration.
>>
>>5042848
He’s not an easy threat, that’s for sure.
>>5042850
Yes. The angrier Karn gets, the more blood is spilled. The more blood spilled, the more bodies Lobo has.
>>5042852
True.
Raven doesn’t have anything destructive enough. And Chilli might, but last you saw he’s down and out.
>>
>>5042852
The problem with most of our attacks is that someone like Lobo can survive them just by being cheeky and letting his blood get blasted off into the distance, or actively tearing off a piece and chucking it out of range. We don't have any truly sudden instantaneous eraser style attacks. All explosions and beams.

Making a sphere around the last main man standing and then incinerating him without giving him a chance to splatter the ground with his essence would be our best bet. Basically "I'm not locked in here with you" him.
>>
>>5042865
Still, it will be a big shock for Lobo's neck of the woods to find out someone solo'd him in a fight. I want to see the Justice Leagues faces when they see Karn brutalize Lobo into submission.

>.....we could put a Barrier around our fight pit nd just....blow up for a few minuets.
The trick is making sure you actually got rid of the rest of them. And giving it a cool name. Final Prison? Gehenna Cage? Edge Ball? Tace Tuesday's Restroom Of Doom?
>>
>>5042877
I got it.....the Karnage Locker, its perfectly cheesy for "killing" Lobo.
>>
>>5042879
I mean the training program is one thing but naming a whole ass attack after yourself is a bit much. It's cool, evokes imagery and all but like. I dunno maybe I'm just hung up on it.
>>
>>5042872
Yeah, Karn’s a very direct fighter, used to fighting mortal threats.
And it’s a good plan. If only you had the brainpower to do something like that.
>>5042875
The universe has been surprised. Even Vox’s specialty cameras, that he brought to New Salda JUST to watch Saiyans fighting can’t catch Karn’s movements now.
>>5042876
Yes and no.

>>5042880
How about the Karn Locker then, keep it short but still brand adjacent?

>The universe has been surprised. Even Vox’s specialty cameras, that he brought to New Salda JUST to watch Saiyans fighting can’t catch Karn’s movements now.
>Yes and no.
Shit, so basically the universe just saw Karn go Biggest Green, turned into said shade of green blur, and now there is a nonstop gore wave of Lobo bits, clones of Lobo, and more bits of them too. Nabu better be fucking watching this.

>>

I don't even know what demesne means.

>>5042888
I think it's a kind of soup.

Guys, GD just said we don't have the mental function needed for that right now. So I propose we do something more fitting for big green monkey man mode.

We're punching him hard but he keeps getting back up.

But our dragon lets us punch him harder.

How about we punch EVERY one of him with DDF to erase them, one after another? It's the hardest punch we have, fitting for monkey-brain.

Not even using DDF like usual, but literally just letting him sit there as we bludgeon them to death with him.
>>
>>5042891
That's assuming Karn even has the wherewithal to remember he has a stand.
All he's concerned about right now is Lobo, the unlucky bastard.
>>
I kind of feel bad for Lobo, all his life will be until his regeneration runs out is constantly being blown to bits by a perpetually pissed off monkey. There's not any thought involved, he's literally just in the forever meat grinder now until he finally dies from his best ability eventually goes out on him or he manages to hide and flee for his life. He's not winning this fight, he's just gonna get ripped apart for months straight until he wishes for death.
>>
>>5042910
Meh. He's kind of a total asshole. You feel bad for him for about three seconds before getting over it.

Besides, he'll come back from total annihilation on his own eventually anyway.
>>
I suppose my question is at this point is, if Lobo is literally this strong, is this universes superman stronger then Jiren?
>>
>>5043042
To add to this, extrapolating from how stupid strong GD has decided to make Lobo, the better question is whether this universe even registers for the tournament of power since the average universal powerlevel seems to be damn stupid high even compared to shit shown in DBZ? Literally a fourth of the universe is DC shit and DC seems to be full retard hyper strong in this universe.

>strong
He was clearly only around Ascended Berserker’s level, and not anywhere close to on par with 3. As your ripping and tearing made evident. He got Freeza with a cheap shot too, because he wasn’t taking Lobo seriously. A good lesson for Freeza, not to become too arrogant like canon Goku.
>>5043043
It’s not about fighters’ powerlevels. Gohan and Piccolo were stronger than Universe 10’s best, yet they were considered a higher mortal level than Universe 7 or 9. Universe 6 is higher as well, despite their best fighters also being weaker than then Super Saiyan Blues, or Golden Freeza. It’s about the level of the societies in your universe, how advanced the civilizations are, how few dead worlds are clogging up the stars, etc.

“HRRAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, and without hesitation dash at the one speaking and drive your fist through his skull, then twist and decapitate another by backhanding through his jaw and neck before spinning back clockwise and kicking over/through a half-dozen Lobo. The rest surge at you like a wave, you spinning like a dervish and striking down as many as you can. But they just keep coming, rushing you faster than you can keep striking them down. A half dozen grab onto your left arm together, stopping you from swinging at one flying kicking at your face. You take the kick, Lobo bouncing off as another six or seven grab onto your right.

“PILE ON!!” one Lobo bellows, and they all begin dog piling you. Like a rain of people, Lobo after Lobo after Lobo drops out of the sky onto you, quickly burying you in a sea of bodies. Which only makes you angrier.
“RAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” your ki explodes out from you as you roar in rage, once again disintegrating the nearest several dozen piled on atop you. “HRRAAAAAAAA!!!”
“Frag, this bastich won’t go down!” one Lobo shouts, drawing his weapon to fire it at you. But before you can slaughter him, a wide beam fires dowb from the sky, consuming him entirely. You turn up towards the source, only to see a figure clad in brilliant, shining gold.

“Forgive me, for leaving you alone with this problem. I underestimated him, and wasn’t using my full strength.” the form says, it taking you a second to realize who it is through the haze of bloodlust in your mind. It’s Freeza, he’s okay! Your friend drops down beside you, spreading his arms wide tauntingly then clenching his fists. “And I will NOT make that mistake again! SHYAAAAAA!!”

Freeza’s golden aura blazes up around him, staggering even you back a step from the sheer force of his unrestrained aura.

“Do it NOW!” he roars. And before you realize what’s going on, darkness descends down on you, Freeza, and the army of Lobo from the heavens. But as your head goes through, the scenery changes. You find yourself in a world of junk, standing beside Freeza. “Now, how about we really cut loose?”
“RRRRAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, a bellow of primal challenge to those who’d dare defy you. Hundreds of Lobo bellow in response, and the waves of bodies crash towards you both.

What do you do?
>Rush and attack, keep swinging wildly at the sea of bodies until none are left standing
>Here you can rampage as you wish, unleash all of your destructive energy on this bastich sea that you’ve been holding back

Your energy keeps rising, building pressure inside your body as it wants out. So you let it out, unleashing your rage with a roar!

https://youtube.com/watch?v=fNO_dUcHIR4

“GRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAARR!!” you bellow, ki exploding from your maw as you release all that pent-up energy in an unstoppable wave of death. Sweeping your head back and forth from the beam’s recoil, you can barely control it as you sweep the energy through the approaching horde. You hold the attack until your energy dips, the pressure behind the beam dropping to the point you can easily control it. Ending the attack, you see that the wild beam cleared a large cone before you, where not even a drop of blood remains. “GRRRRAAAAAAA!!”

“Holy fragarolli.” one Lobo says, clearly shocked by your power
“Yes, yes! That is what I wish to see! Destroy them all!!” Freeza shouts, leaping into the air. Then the ground all around behind you simply explodes. You turn, seeing a “C” carved out of the ground behind you, chunks of several Lobo who couldn’t get out of the way in time scattered amongst the whole ones. “Quit holding back! Cut loose, and show me your true power!!”

“Grrrrr! HRRRR! RRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, throwing your right hand forward and unleashing even more power. Your emerald ki explodes forth from your open palm, consuming another several dozen Lobo. Ending that beam you turn, firing another from your left that destroys even more of them. As you fire that attack the rest surge towards you, roaring war cries and several firing their guns or hurling their chain blades at you. Beams and blades strike you, bouncing off your chest and head as you end the attack, feeling your rage building.
“GET EM!!” one of the onrushing Lobo shouts, you snarling at him and dashing forward. Before he can react you raise an enormously powerful ball of ki as wide as your torso overhead, slamming it down directly onto the Lobo who shouted. Without any resistance your energy consumes his body entirely, the blast then exploding as it strikes the ground. The resulting blast consumes dozens of them before it begins weakening due to the blast’s area, and knocking dozens more away from the point of impact.

“Haaaaa.” you exhale, feeling your energy dip precipitously for a moment and exhaustion crashing onto you like a wave of Lobo bodies. But you’re not done yet, gritting you teeth force your aura to blaze even higher! You’re not done yet! “GRRRAAAAAAAA!!”

“HRRAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, crimson dragon appearing wrapped around your right arm.
“GRRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAR!!” Divine Dragon Force bellows, the deep, primal call of challenge causing the very ground beneath your feet to tremble. Several Lobo nearby step back, clearly afraid of your Stand. And as one you charge.

“RRRAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, sprinting forward and with a leap drive your Stand-clad fist right through one Lobo’s face. Divine Dragon Force glows crimson as it charges forward and through the next three behind him, and turns those Lobo’s energy against them.
“N-No! NOOOOooooo....!” they cry out, all four vanishing completely after a few moments. The rest all begin surging towards you, one calling out with a roar. “Frag this bastich!!”
“HAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, dashing fist-first through a dozen or so Lobo to punch right through that one’s mouth, each one you charged through disappearing along with the one with your fist in his mouth.
“Frag this.” one says, bringing his hands to his mouth and whistling. The piercing whistle sounds out over the sounds of the different Lobo disappearing for good, you turning towards him and charging. “Shit shit shit shi-!!!”

“RAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you bellow, driving your Stand-clad fist through his throat.
“GRROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRR!!” Divine Dragon Force roars, charging out forward from your fist and quickly punching through another dozen Lobo, eyes flashing as it again turns their energy against them. You keep charging forward, swinging your Stand indiscriminately through the Lobo who quit trying to charge you. Instead, they all begin trying to run! The hundred or so Lobo left all turn tail and start trying to scatter, but before they can you hear it.

“Oh no you don’t! You won’t escape!” Freeza roars, energy spreading out from him and rapidly expanding. His pinkish energy spreads out from him in a sphere, quickly growing until it covers you and all the Lobo who’re trying to flee. They run into the shield and bounce off, the one who tried leaping away smashing into the shield and falling back down to the ground. “Not a one of you shall leave this place alive!!”

Again you feel your exhaustion hit, nearly taking you from your feet a moment. But you shake it off, and plant your feet firmly. You’re NOT done yet, you refuse!

Well? How do you end this?
>Keep pressing forward, you and Divine Dragon Force can end this!

“Let me outta here!!” a Lobo shouts, throwing his hook at Freeza’s shield. It bounces off harmlessly as another launches a flying elbow, which proves just as ineffective.
“Finish them, Karn.” Divine Dragon Force says, your Stand closing it’s eyes as it begins fading out. “Don’t let any of them escape.”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=qjZb8Y1QvpE

“Hrrrrrr! HRRRRAAAAAA!!” you roar, clenching your fists and drawing forth all of your ki. Emerald aura flares wildly as lightning arcs from you, carving ditches through the scrap-strewn ground. You dig deep, the ground cracking beneath you as your power surges higher and higher. “HRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”
“Oh frag me, he’s gonna blow!” a Lobo shouts.
“Stop him! Quick!” another roars, and like a tidal wave a sea of Lobo swarm you.

“RROOOOOAAAAAAAAAA!!!!” you roar, aura blazing even higher and knocking them all back as you gather every ounce of power you have left. Your entire body trembles, trying to contain your swelling might as the pressure continues building. Your body feels like it’s splitting at the seams, doubling you over in pain as spasms course through you. Then suddenly you feel it: it’s now or never! If you don’t unleash it now, your body will explode! “HRRRYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”

Throwing your head back with a roar, you unleash everything: every ounce of power you have begins burns it’s way out of your body! Your eyes are blinded by your erupting emerald ki, you losing sight of the Lobo army. The surging energy deafens you, scorching your skin and blinds you; should anything be strong enough to resist this much energy output and charge through it, you’d be left completely defenseless. Your stockpiled energy continues to plummet, draining you until you have nothing left to give. As the last drops of your energy burn themselves out you’re left hanging suspended in the air a moment over a gaping crater below. It’s so deep you can’t even see the bottom, but as you no longer have even enough strength to fly, you’re sure you are about to see the bottom. That is, until something catches you by the right arm. Turning your head tiredly, you see Freeza, no longer Golden holding you up by your wrist. He smirks at you, chuckling a bit to himself before speaking.

“Well now, looks like you’ve nearly surpassed me again.” Freeza says. “Looks like I’ll need to redouble my own training.”
“Neither of you bastiches are leavin’ here alive!”

You turn your head, the rest of your body too spent to move, and see a single Lobo floating near, pointing his left hand weapon at you both.

“Both of yer gonna die.” he says, racking the slide and pointing it at your head. “But you first. Any last words?”
“Death Magic: Dust To Dust!” you hear a young voice call from behind you, Lobo’s eyes widening in fear as his left hand immediately begins turning to dust. His gun drops down into the crater, the man without hesitation driving his right hand into his chest, and pulling out his own heart. Before you, Freeza, or Chilli’s magic can stop him Lobo pitches it away from you all, well-clear of the crater and disappearing over a mountain of garbage.
“I’m not gonna let you bastiches kill me!” he taunts, flipping you off as his body is rapidly turned to dust. His body’s right hand is the last part of him to vanish, maintaining flipping you off until it’s completely gone, turning to nothing more than dust in the wind. “That’s what you get for trying to assassinate me!”

“He-He’s not dead.” you manage to get out, chest heaving. “His heart. We have to. To find it.”
“Not today Karn.” Freeza says, sounding just as exhausted as you feel. “None of us are in any shape to continue this fight. Let us take our chance, and return you back home.”

And as if on cue, one of Raven’s portals opens up beside the three of you. And without hesitation Freeza directs Chilli through first, then carries you through with his body between you and the direction Lobo pitched his heart. Clearly not wanting to take any chances. But the instant you all are through Raven snaps the portal closed, nearly a dozen voices all shouting some variation of “Daddy!!”

“Easy now, easy.” Freeza tells your kids softly as he sets you down, laying your head in Meloka’s lap. “Your father just went through hell.”

Your younger kids all pile on, and even the older ones grab onto your arms and hands. But Broly meets your eyes, looking to you questioningly. You know what he wants to ask, but before you can say anything your body finally gives out, and the darkness takes you. As you lose consciousness, only one thought fills your mind: you did it.

>I meant as far as the tournament goes.
Can't wait to see everyone when we wake up.
>I’ve been saving this encounter for over an irl year now. You’re not his first “one shot” type of enemy he’s fought, but you are the first one to spill that much of his blood and win.
It shows and its awesome, how many people in our edge of the universe, Boros aside, knows who Lobo is, and the significance of what we did to him?
>>
Whelp all things considered Lobo is screwed, frieza gonna put a probably really large bounty on his head for trying to kill him and karn. I can't wait for when he eventually finds out nabu lied to him and now a good half the universe wants his head for it.
>>
>>5043466
Honestly that sounds like a pretty average day for Lobo.

>>5043460
What happens if we combine Hamon Training and our Full Energy Body training? Do we get cancer?
>>
>>5043465
I think she wouldn't care that much if not for the fact he fucked up so badly karn got even stronger, making him an even bigger pain in the ass and she knows full damn well even before this karn could do terrible shit to both her and her people. Since karn is now SSGSS/golden frieza level now, and karn literally has a one shot ability on his arm shits really bad for her if karn gets an idea to fuck with her people.
>>
>>5043472
We get a really bitchin' sun-tan is what happens. All Karn needs is some sunglasses.
>>
>>5043470
Nah, usually him getting wanted is for local authorities or only a galaxy, frieza owns most of the known universe and Lobo is gonna be wanted in all of it. Also usually Lobo really hates being lied to and used like this, both of these combined even if it doesn't hurt him is really really gonna piss him off and put nabu on his shit list.
>>

......you can't be serious.
>>5043474
That sounds like Karn gets a new adult toyset line if he did that, he'd look like a surfer dude with a tiny wife asian wife and tons of kids. Which makes it shocking we're a good dad....the number of girls with a tan daddy fetish grows. Jewfish picked his bet well.
>>
>>5043475
He still doesn't know he lied to him yet.
>>
>>5043478
>......you can't be serious
What I mean is karn is now in a position where he can go back to dicking around in other timelines fucking up the whole horde of time tards since he now has the strength too, instead of passively dicking around in his universe wondering when he has to deal with her bullshit.
>>
>>5043478
On the topic of toylines and Vox, I can imagine he's calling the current manufacturer of Chaya figurines and telling them to dust off the molds for the Karn figures.
PTO Heroes Series 3: General Karn, The Dragon of New Salda (BIG GREEN VER.) coming to your local retailers soon.
>>
>>5043461
No, not likely. This scenario was a bit unique, as everyone you were fighting had the exact same face. In monke terms, that face=bad, everyone else=not bad. And those rolls weren’t for “control”, they were for “keeping your body together and not giving out”, like Goku sustaining his Kaio-Ken x3 against Vegeta.
>>5043465
>Nabu fucked up in quite possibly the absolute worst way possible to avoid Chrona's shit list
You say that like all this was Nabu’s idea.
>Nabu trying to get the Justice League and the local gods to put us on a watch list.
After that performance, you coming back while Lobo didn’t, and one camera seeing the fuckoff crater before it closed, you’re not on a watch list. You’re on the equivalent of the Top Ten Most Wanted. You defeated the Last Czarnian, after showing off what HE could do.
>how many people in our edge of the universe, Boros aside, knows who Lobo is, and the significance of what we did to him?
Once they’ve seen it: most mercenaries, the Zoldycks, Lin Kuei, demons, angels, Dreadzone fans of 15+ years, and anyone else who’s seen the aftermath of one of Lobo’s sprees.
>>5043466
Why would he? Freeza’s not going after him. But he does have a plan, for someone of Lobo’s considerable talents. Not many want his head now, Karn “made his point” and once more defended his planet against another unstoppable force. As for Nabu, well Lobo now has less reason to doubt him. Having been “killed” by Karn well over seven hundred times so far in that battle.
>>5043472
You haven’t noticed, because you haven’t tried, but the Energy Body would keep you from taking a proper breath for Hamon.
>>5043473
You say this like Nabu orchestrated these events.
>>5043479
This. He saw nothing to dissuade him from the notion Karn’s a dirty dolphin killer. He’s just a Really Strong one.
>>
>>5043485
>Top Ten Most Wanted
Hey now, Karn has always acted within the bounds of the law.
It just so happens that those laws are dictated by Frieza and King Cold. The Galactic Patrol and Green Lantern Corps also have no jurisdiction here.
>>
>>5043485
>This. He saw nothing to dissuade him from the notion Karn’s a dirty dolphin killer. He’s just a Really Strong one.
To be fair, he only saw an illusion of Chilli killing a dolphin, he just made the assumption that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
I imagine if we had thrown him into the ocean, he might have noticed that there's nothing even remotely similar to a Dolphin down there.
>>
>>5043483
Only if we train to use it on command.
>>5043484
The fact he doesn't have green on his nose is always surprising, the fact he isn't huffing gold is moreso.

>After that performance, you coming back while Lobo didn’t, and one camera seeing the fuckoff crater before it closed, you’re not on a watch list. You’re on the equivalent of the Top Ten Most Wanted. You defeated the Last Czarnian, after showing off what HE could do.
That's kinda dumb, who would be suicidal enough to try something Lobo couldn't? But funny parts make the world turn, who'd he show us too first?
>Once they’ve seen it: most mercenaries, the Zoldycks, Lin Kuei, demons, angels, Dreadzone fans of 15+ years, and anyone else who’s seen the aftermath of one of Lobo’s sprees.
Too small, Dreadzone needs an expansion in his neck of the woods, and broadcast Lobo's shit getting pushed in.
>You haven’t noticed, because you haven’t tried, but the Energy Body would keep you from taking a proper breath for Hamon.
Huh, that doesn't make much sense, is it just from how tight the shell is on our chest?

>>5043496
>Who the hell got him to act then?
Someone higher on the totem pole.
Not many will try now, between the Zoldycks’ message and watching Lobo’s Legion fail.
Lobo isn’t that well known across the universe. But Cold knows all too well.
>Huh, that doesn't make much sense, is it just from how tight the shell is on our chest?
First, your Energy Body is nearly airtight, and barely lets air through it, almost like the mask in part 2 except full-body. Second, yes, it does noticeably constrict one’s body all over. Like wearing plate, or having a hardened carapace.
>>
>>5043518
>APPROACHING
ho ho
>>
>>5043493
As if a Saiyan would have ANY qualms about killing and eating dolphins. The only reason no one has yet is no one's seen any.

>Not many will try now, between the Zoldycks’ message and watching Lobo’s Legion fail.
haaaa, there is always some suicidal dumbass. Obviously Covenant is included in this list of idiots, but who else besides literal mongoloids living under a rock?
>Lobo isn’t that well known across the universe. But Cold knows all too well.
Now THAT is a treat, what's he think of our latest stunt?
>First, your Energy Body is nearly airtight, and barely lets air through it, almost like the mask in part 2 except full-body. Second, yes, it does noticeably constrict one’s body all over. Like wearing plate, or having a hardened carapace.
Ahhhhh, that makes sense, the mask thing is good, but if we can't functionally expand our lungs just right, I can see the problem.
>>5043553
>Who says any haven’t? Many different world have been cleansed by the Saiyans.
Meh, unless its outright a water world, I doubt we go through the effort to purge sea life.
>>

Or could you tell us what our PL was during that rampage?
>>
>>5043560
I said no such thing.
Not many, anymore.
Cold is impressed, but also far more worried. His original concern isn’t an issue, now his concern is with Beerus. He knows the Destroyer doesn’t like having his authority challenged.
With both combined, it makes Hamon breathing basically impossible.
Depends on the job, and their powerlevels.
>>5043567

That makes sense, but still. I say we try and upgrade our barrier to be able to keep enemies in range.
God knows that would have helped with Lobo at the end there.
>>
>>5043675
>Hefelt Karn’s transformation. Much less the Kais, and the peoples of other worlds.
So karn probably is roughly beerus tier when that mad and he still has several years to get stronger, nice.
>>
>>5043682
Ok but why though?
>>5043793
If they’d have all ran, only one would have been able to make it off-world anyways.
>>5043956
I wouldn’t go that far. Gohan felt Goku’s Super Saiyan 3 from the world of the Kais after all.
>>
>>5043957
I said roughly, doesn't mean he's quite there but he's close enough where beerus would not walk away unscathed if they really went at it.
>>
>>5043956
Beerus' 100% is still lightyears above Mastered UI Goku. Goku's base form as of the ToP was explicitly stated to be as strong as his SSJ3 form during Buu Saga.

Karn is, at best, strong enough to give Beerus a scratch on the cheek with his everything. DDF still remains the only effective tool in his arsenal. IF Karn giws UI, then Beerus might actually feel his blows.
>>
>>5043957
Oh yeah, what does Shin think about a mortal that can break him like a twig whom is also pissed with him? I swear to god if he blows this off too.
>>
>>5044034
I imagine that while Shin is aware that Karn is stronger than him, he's not aware of exactly how large the gap is.
Though he did probably get his scrying orb out when he felt Karn tear reality a new asshole.
Conversely, Kars was probably watching the tournament from the start because why would you ever not be paying attention to the Saiyans at this point?

I hope we have a bitchin' new outfit at that point.
Something equal parts regal and intimidating, truly fitting for somebody as legendary (pun intended) as Karn.

When you consider BoG Goku didn’t so much as mark him during their fight, you may be underestimating Beerus.
>>5043997
>was explicitly stated
Where? I don’t remember seeing such a thing. Skinny Buu bodied him at Hercule’s place.
>>5044034
He was certainly worried about a surge of power from the mortal realm he could feel all the way from the divine realm. And once he recognized WHO it was, well. He may be on his way.
>>5044069
Shin most certainly didn’t brush this off. Kars wasn’t, at least initially as he’s been working on perfecting something.
>>5044091

>>
>>5044099
>I’m not doing another uniform vote. Anons are too autistic and I’m not fighting that battle ever again. EVER
By my powers as an autist and ameteur illustrator, it will be done.
But only after Karn achieves his Forma Finale.
>>
>>5044105
By that I mean I'll just draw a bunch of sketches and hold the vote myself, I know it's a pain in the ass trying to do that sorta thing in the middle of a session.
Might even commission a final piece after that.
>>
>>5044104
The techs are working on it. They do have a large stockpile from the war
>>
>>5044099
>I’m not doing another uniform vote.
Disappointing, but understandable. I’m assuming this all stems from that vote where anons demanded DBS Broly’s armor, despite your explanation that it doesn’t even exist in universe yet?
>>
>>5044095
No way, we need something more practical, a fancy suit would be obliterated.
>>5044069
>Conversely, Kars was probably watching the tournament from the start because why would you ever not be paying attention to the Saiyans at this point?
The only one with brains is fucking vampire.
>>5044099
>I’m not doing another uniform vote. Anons are too autistic and I’m not fighting that battle ever again. EVER
BUT THAT'S THE FUNNIEST PART!
>And once he recognized WHO it was, well. He may be on his way.
Gooood, we can finally break that little shits ass over our knee.
>Shin most certainly didn’t brush this off. Kars wasn’t, at least initially as he’s been working on perfecting something.
...is this Opposite Day?
>>
>>5044184
>No way, we need something more practical, a fancy suit would be obliterated.
The fancy bits would be detachable, leaving a comparatively plain suit of PTO battle armor underneath.
>>
>>5044192
Then why bother in the first place? If they come off, we're going all out, forgot accidentally obliterating the sparkly bits, we wouldn't even find them again. Besides, Karn never went for ornamentation unless its on his weapons. And that's usually more spikes, blades, or grav generators.
>>
>>5044196
I'm sure there's a balance than can be struck between form and function, the hard part is finding out where it is.
That's where input from the playerbase and my research into PTO aesthetics come in, as well as the eventual sequential voting process going through a bunch of thumbnails.
I remember doing something similar a few years ago, but I can't remember what outfit anons liked.
>>
>>5044202
Why not a durable greatcoat so Karn looks like Mr. X?
>>
Guys, I think we're all forgetting something. Doesn't our Energy Body go slightly over our clothing?

...Doesn't that mean we can wear pretty much whatever once we've got full Energy Body control, and only break it when we go Berserker 3 or something, and completely lose control of ourselves?
>>
>>5044207
I thought it only covered the skin given how Blackfire pierced through Karn's armor, but not his body.

No. That was the first(and last) time since the og Hive arc that I genuinely considered dropping QMing this quest completely. It’s never happening again.
You’re too drained to throw a punch, much less transform again.
No. Kars has his own goals and ambitions, and is constantly striving towards them.
>>

Double damn.

>SCQ was nearly dropped because anons are too autistic to play dress up
>>
>>5044228
Remember, you blacked out from everything at episode’s pause. You’re in no shape to fight. And neither is Freeza, your blast knocking the gold plating off of him. Since he was inside the sphere he made as well.
As for Kars, he’s still bettering himself. After losing his “fight” to you he went back to studying, both his Saiyan power as well as his divinity. He has learned of Majin Buu, and knows most of what it can do with it’s bizarre powers.
>>5044240
I can’t remember off hand which number it is, but I did describe it something like “In which anons’ autism causes GDQM to ragequit” or something like that.
>>
>>5044336
>He has learned of Majin Buu, and knows most of what it can do with it’s bizarre powers.
Ah so he's gonna try to mimic it and end up being the one to release the pink bastard. RIP.
>>
>>5044336
I’m looking forwards to the inevitable meeting with Mechi and Dumplin in our mind at the start of the next episode.
>>
>>5044338
Absolutely not. He’s arrogant, not stupid. He got the WHOLE story from Shin, and knows roughly how much more powerful than him the Grand Supreme Kai was. And how Buu was completely unphased by his attack that “would have killed anyone else.”
>>5044347
Perhaps. Or perhaps something else is going down.
>>
>>5044371
>“would have killed anyone else.”
How many of those has Kars shrugged off, by the way? At least three.
>>
>>5044371
Has Kars realized that Karn is probably the only person capable of fighting Buu without getting absorbed immediately?
>>
>>5044385
True, but he now understands the magnitude of difference divine ki can make. Wielding the energy of creation itself, someone intelligent could make far more with it than someone with a colored Ring, or even all of them at once.
>>5044396
Karn may be instrumental in some of Kars’ plans.
>>
>>5044336
>I can’t remember off hand which number it is, but I did describe it something like “In which anons’ autism causes GDQM to ragequit” or something like that.

It was pretty fun watching it happen in real time even if I did contribute somewhat by asking if we could get King Vegetas armor when it wasn’t on the ballot

Reading it so long afterwards (as I trawled through the archives to catch up), it always surprised me that you lot took playing dress-up so seriously; not just that costume vote, but the previous ones as well. >>
Also interesting note since all the DC shit seems on the table, the SKOT better pray to whatever gods she believes in that karn never gets a red lantern ring, because if atrocitus our any of the red lanterns caught karn doing what he did to lobo, he probably becomes the first priority for red lanterndom.
>>
>>5044477
A green, red, yellow, or blue power ring desu.
Karn could do a lot with any of those.
>>
>>5044476
Dumplin, but for real though, we know kars has a working brain, even if hes been hanging around that dipshit shin, if he applies himself he would probably fairly easy figure out you can't just screw with karn with no consequences.

>>5044480
I mean i could see Karn go full retard with lantern rings, but i feel like most groups would be too scared shitless of him and the only group that actually enjoys dealing with karns style of batshit is in fact the red lanterns. also karn could use the purple ring of love, since that drives a lot of his shit as well.
>>
>>5044489
I think Karn would probably be at his best with a Yellow or Blue ring.
Yellow for the fear he inspires as Frieza's right hand man.
Blue for the hope he embodies for the Saiyan race.

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if Cold just vaporizes that shit after his family's done with it. He might've asked Karn and Caulifla about it if they didn't already have Stands, but outside of those and his immediate family, I can't see anyone he would trust enough to offer the use of the knife.

Wait, would she be disqualified for that?
>>
>>5045716
Technically out of bounds, so yeah.
>>
>>5045721
That's such bullshit though, she can't do anything about that, and she shows up in the same spot when she gets back.
>>
>>5045716
Yes. She’d be “down” for a ten-count.
>>5045721
Not technically, her feet are still in the ring. But actually unconscious, unable to see/hear/feel what’s happening around her and not able to move.
>>5045722
She can take the amulet off before, or during a fight. But she hasn’t gotten a call in awhile, so hadn’t thought about it in the tournament.
>>
>>5045728
>Not technically, her feet are still in the ring.
But -she- isn't. Technically the rules didn't state what part of you must remain in the ring. So any part of you leaving could be argued as a ring out on a technicality. Since her soul or consciousness is leaving the bounds of the arena that would be then a ring out.

Which is why technicalities are stupid.
>>
>>5045763
With flight being allowed, as long as you don’t touch the ground/stands outside the ring, you’re still in bounds. And with her being there in body, you can’t make any argument against her still being in the ring. However, being unconscious and/or unresponsive for a ten count is a loss.
>>
>>5046148
"The bounds" should not mean "literally everywhere except the ground" otherwise you could fly to another planet and keep fighting so long as you don't touch land. Which would be stupid. And unsportsmanly. Therefore it can be reasonably assumed that the "bounds" have a finite space above and around the arena as well.

This is why technicalities are stupid. Because it's already a cherrypick of the rules. And it can always go further.
>>
>>5046178
Broly’s explosion knocked him almost all the way back to the city and wasn’t counted as rung out since he remained in the air. Plus you’re forgetting something important: Freeza’s the one making the rules this time. Nobody wants to try and technically weasel the rules while under his gaze. Only Vox has stones that heavy

QM UPDATE

May actually have this intermission finished tonight, eight full posts and it’s a wild ride. Are you ready to see a son’s resolve?
>>
>>5046182
>Broly’s explosion knocked him almost all the way back to the city and wasn’t counted as rung out since he remained in the air.
That was still on the planet though. A whole nother plane of existence or time clearly isn't in bounds. There is no overcoming the unreasonably asinine power that is a technicality

And there is always someone stupid enough to bitch at the person in charge. And they will tragically commit suicide with two death beams to the back of the head after a brief and very calm debate about the rules.

Awesome thread. I'm curious about the state Lobo is in right now. This not how he expected this job to go. Is he shocked? What is he thinking?

Lobo is a threat. I'm glad that there were no casualties on our side, but I think it was really close. Pretty much entire focus of Lobo's army in the arena was on Karn and that was good. If Lobo decided to divide its horde's attention and send a portion of it to massacre the nearby audience and other competitors, we could have a bloodbath. Not many of them would be able to defend themselves against 1 Lobo so a group of them would be much worse.

>First time Chilli used chaos magic he almost died when fixing Chaya's sword. Now he successfully used it on a scale of the destroyed arena to undo the flow of time and also free Pinrut from fate as a side effect. This time Chilli only passed out from exhaustion. His improvement is noticeable.
>Karn unlocked Berserker 3 way faster than I expected. This is a pleasant surprise. I was thinking it will be necessary to do the Super Sayian God ritual few years from now to transform into Berserker 3 for the first time.
Those are all good things for us. Though I get the feeling that to those that are hostile to Karn and his family and friends the events during the tournament are a red alert.
>>5046195
That's great. I can't wait to read it.
>>
>>5046222
>Red Alert
Nothing new, its actually Green though.
>>
>>5046207
Yeah, arguing semantics with Freeza is a good way to punch out your life clock early.
>>5046219
Would have been up to Chilli’s willpower. But he would have been in far worse shape, and Lobo may have simply killed him outright.
>>5046222
He’s genuinely shocked someone could overpower him by so much. Remember, it took half a dozen Lobo to hold back Karn’s left fist. Then for Chilli to just show up, and start also erasing his existence? He understands why an actual god wants Karn and Chilli gone, and was willing to pay so much. He’s going to go back to The Thieves’ Den and demand half the pay now so he can arm up for a proper rematch. But when he returns, may find things not as he left them.
The only ones even capable of defending themselves, at least temporarily against a single Lobo would have been Vegeta, Aisha, Turles, Tunnip, and Nappa. And that list is only if a Power Ball could be maintained for the Golden Oozarus.
As for the ritual, it may still be needed. When this episode resumes, you may find out a bit more info.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 165 Intermission-

AGE 750, NEW SALDA

CRYSTAL MAUL!!” you roar, magic instantly forming a giant two-handed hammer that resembles your dad’s hammer, and swing it down with a powerful overhead at Caulifla. Your sister tries to block, but the weapon hits her with so much force it shatters!
“KYAAAAAA!!” Cauli cries out in pain, sent hurtling straight back down towards the arena floor below. But she can still recover, you have to finish this now!
“Dark Magic: Black Hole!” you call, and create a pinpoint of absolute darkness down beside the arena over the out-of-bounds area. The sudden vacuum pulls your sister towards that gravity well, as well as those in the stands nearby. Even that loser Pinrut, still stuck to the wall is slowly being pulled out towards that gravitational well. Caulifla’s downward flight changes, pulled irresistibly towards that dark void.

“N-No! I won’t! Lose!!” she roars, recovering and trying to fly away from it as you close the distance. She looks up just in time to take a heavy right punch, your fist sending her directly at your magical void. Which you end at the last second with a snap, and instead of that pull sucking her in to who knows where, Caulifla’s sent crashing down just outside the stage.
“Caulifla has been sent out-of-bounds!” Freeza declares as the crowd roars, you turning to give your wife Megumin a thumbs up. But suddenly your entire body spasms, and a sickening feeling washes over you. That sensation radiates from yout guts, and looking down what you see makes no sense. You see a metal blade as pierced through your guts and spine, blood soaking your armor and robe. “Chilli is the winner!”

“Dirty dolphin-killing bastich.” you hear a gruff voice call from behind you, as the blade is savagely jerked out of your back. You try and take a breath, to gather your magic and fight back, anything! But it’s useless. Your body won’t respond, dropping limply out of the sky. For a brief moment you realize you’re about to die, and there’s nothing you can do about it. But you never hit the ground, and the scenery around you shifts. Blinking several times, you find yourself back in a familiar, dusty mausoleum.
“Wait, what?” you say, looking around confused a moment. You were just in a fight with Caulifla, and then...and then.... “Oh.”
“Chilli, son of Karn.” a familiar, equally dusty voice calls from behind you. And turning around you see the deity you’d made a pact with, sitting at his desk as ever: Jergal, the Final Scribe. “You and I. We need to talk.”

“Talk?” you ask, the suddenly an idea comes to mind. Or rather a terrible fear, but it’s possible. “Wait, does that mean-?”
“No. You are not one of the blessed dead. At least, not yet.” the ancient deity answers your question, or at least what he thought it was. You’re not quite so eager to set down your burdens just yet. “However. You have committed a grave sin, Chilli son of Karn.”
“Wait, I did?” you ask, confused. “When? What did I do? I thought I followed the rules.”
“You brought a mortal back from beyond the veil of death.” the ancient god says, voice like wind through an empty graveyard on a moonless night. “And not only this, but undid his death.”
“No, I never-“ you start, then stop speaking abruptly as you realize what happened. “Pinrut.”

“Yes. Your fellow Saiyan, named Pinrut. He was completely obliterated by your brother’s attack.” he answers. “But you, with exceptionally dangerous Chaos magic, revived him. I know that was not your intention, which is why many of the other deities, led by the gods of Fate, Time, and Order, have entirely banned it’s use.”
“Are you going to try and ban me from using it as well?” you ask the elder deity directly. To which he scoffs then openly laughs at. His dry, dusty voice echoes out in the seemingly-empty mausoleum, the entire space brightening for a moment while he laughs for several moments before calming back down.

“Absolutely not.” he finally answers you. “This new generation of deities think that mortals possessing Power is a threat to them, and their continued domination.”
“Is it?” you ask, feeling you already know the answer.
“Of course.” he replies, looking thoughtfully to you, his gaze seemingly peering directly in your soul. “How did you think they claimed those thrones from their predecessors?”
“I see.” you say, taking a few moments to fully process this new information, and all the implications it has. But storing it away for later, you focus on what needs done. “Thank you, I shall take this advice to heart. But I should return, and finish what both Broly started, and I interrupted.”

“Not yet, young Reaper. Your body will still remain unconscious for some time.” he says, and to your shock actually sets his quill down. He’s stopped writing?! This has to be incredibly important! You feel your nerves starting to get the better of you, wondering what could be so important that he stops his eternal work. Reaching below his giant desk, the gaunt deity draws forth a large scrying orb, easily as tall as you are, and sets it upon his desk at the front-right corner. “Let us talk, you and I. There is much happening in the world of the living. Let us start with your would-be assassin, Lobo of Czarnia.”
>>
>>5046410
And as Jergal speaks his name, the scrying orb shows you the pale-skinned assassin who’d sneak attacked you. And he’s currently fighting your dad, Freeza’s feet sticking out of the ground before him as Karn draws his right fist back. Wait, he made Freeza eat dirt? Just how strong is this guy?

“This is for Chi-GAH!!” he exclaims, as the man swings his right arm forward lightning quick and stabs the hook straight through Karn’s chest. “W-What?”
“DAD!!” you shout, shocked. No way. He took down dad and Freeza? Just like that? Is this guy unstoppable?
“And that makes two.” he says with a wicked grin. “Dirty fraggin dolphin kill-“
“HAAAAAAAAA!!” your dad suddenly roars in his face, swinging his right fist. Before this Lobo guy can pull away your dad’s fist punches a much-larger hole through his chest. Then Lobo suddenly stiffens up, like something’s wrapped around him. “You lose.”
“GUAAH! What the frag-Woah! Is that a dragon?!” he asks your dad.
“D-Divine Dragon Force.” you hear him say, painfully coughing up blood but not breaking eye contact with the assassin. “End him.”

“Wait, what are-GYAAAAAAAAA!!” he says, screaming out in pain as your dad’s Stand no doubt somehow begins disintegrating Lobo. His body begins simply vanishing inyo little motes of light right around the hole in his chest, and quickly spreading out from there. “You bastich! I’m gonna skull-frag ya!!”

And then to you and your dad’s clear surprise pulls his right arm free as he grabs his hair in his left hand, exposing his neck. Then takes his bladed hook and decapitates himself with a single strike!

“Wh-What?!” your old man shouts, completely shocked by the man seemingly killing himself. But as his torso completely disappears, he swing his left arm down and clocks Karn in the head. With his own head!
“GAAAH!!” Karn barely manages to plant his back foot and keep balanced, avoiding falling down. Then before Lobo can do it again you see your dad grab the assassin’s head. “GRRRAAAAA!!”

Then with a roar clamps down shattering his skull and grinding it to paste in his grip. Blood sprays everywhere as the rest of his body disappears over the next few seconds, you thinking it’s over as your dad drops to a knee. But you were wrong.

“Wait, he’s a regenerator?” you ask, as from his splattered head Lobo swiftly rises once again.
“Not gonna lie, that was a pretty good attack.” you hear the assassin speak as his clothes, and even bladed hook reform. “But you’re gonna need more than that to keep the Main Man down!”
“What are you?” your dad says, clearly struggling to push himself back up to keep fighting despite that same sort of injury knocking you out after fighting your sister. Sometimes you wonder if your dad is truly unstoppable, and that’s why the time Kai hates him so much?
>>
>>5046411
“The name’s Lobo, the Ultimate Bastich.” he says with a smirk, and starts walking over as your dad staggers back up, clutching the gaping hole in his chest. “An’ someone’s payin’ a heap o’ cash for me to bring them your head.”
“But who?” you ask, this time speaking to the Final Scribe directly. “Why would any paid assassin come after my dad? Emilia told me about her grandfather’s ’order’ to other paid assassins that our family is off limits.”
“Whom indeed?” Jergal answers your question with another question, the image fading away as his eyeless gaze meets your own. “And why target only you and your father?”

“I...I don’t know.” you say after several moments’ thought, then add. “We don’t exactly have that much in common.”
“I would disagree.” he replies, a twinkle shining for a moment in his dull, glassy eye. “But let’s take a look at who sent this immortal monster after you. Perhaps that shall further illuminate this situation.”

Once again the scrying orb’s image shifts and changes, revealing two figures sitting at a table watching your mom and dad, and Freeza too all fighting the assassin on a large screen. You feel your eyes widen, recognizing Lord Boros sitting beside an unfamiliar figure. Did HE send that assassin after you? Why? You don’t think you’ve ever spoken to the leader of Dark Matter.

“Let’s have a listen, shall we?” Jergal says more than asks, and with a snap suddenly hear what you assume is the masked figure is saying as Lobo loses his arms to one of Freeza’s Death Saucers.
“-ossible. They cannot kill him, but he can’t handle all three of them.” he says, your dad’s roundhouse sending the assassin staggering back before Mom dashes in and cuts both his legs off. “I’m starting to have my doubts about this.”
“Lobo isn’t even fighting seriously yet.” Lord Boros says almost smugly, as your dad drives a knee into the guy’s face then leaps back, Freeza’s Death Ball crashing down on the newly quad amputee then exploding. “Once he’s gauged each of their strengths, he will act. Make no mistake; Lobo is a hunter, through and through. And the first to fall will be the biggest perceived threat: Freeza.”

“Freeza?! I did NOT order him to do that!!” the golden-masked man shouts, several other patrons of whatever bar they’re in giving the two sideways glances. But he continues, unabated. “If he kills Freeza, this could prove problematic.”
“Then you’d better pray to your superiors in thanks that one of Karn’s many daughters is a healer, Nabu.” Boros says, as that same hook flies out of the crater, and stabs Freeza through the chest! Then jerks Freeza towards him as he leaps, driving a quickly-drawn boot knife and driving it through Freeza’s face! “Else this would all be your fault.”
>>
>>5046412
“My fault? You’re the one who told me to hire him!” the man, Nabu shouts, again drawing more glances and dirty looks at his outburst.
“I told you he’d be the only one crazy enough to take your request.” Boros replies, then gives the masked being a wide, shark-like predatory grin. “I never said it was wise, or said anything about potential collateral damage.”
“You....You....!” you hear your dad say, clenching his fists while his entire body starts to tremble. Then throwing his head back, unleashes a primal call of pain and fury. “GRRROOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAR!! HRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

As your dad roars, a sound of pain and rage beyond anything you’ve heard from him before, the camera begins shaking. No, not just the camera. Everything back home begins shaking, the very air vibrating as lightning strikes down, and color distortions begin radiating outwards from your dad as he keeps screaming, now sounding more like something’s tearing it’s way out of his insides. Several seconds later, many of the bar patrons all jump, freeze, or duck, Boros’ eye even widening as he can feel your dad’s power. Even through the scrying orb you feel it too, something beyond anything you’ve seen from him before. And as your dad’s final, blood-curdling scream fades off, you see he’s achieved another new form. This one looking similar to Mom’s Super Saiyan 3, but it’s clearly different. His hair is more wild, untamed, and his pupil-less Berserker gaze feels even heavier under the heavy brows. And the look of absolute hatred on his face as he glares down at Lobo makes your blood chill, freezing you as effectively as your fear aura had paralyzed Pinrut earlier today.

“Woah...” you finally manage to say, before Lord Boros begins clapping?!
“Subarashii, Karn!” Boros says in an unfamiliar language to the screen for a moment before slipping back into basic. “That’s it! Show me the power of a Saiyan God!”
“WHAT?!” Nabu shouts at him, turning to face Boros. “What did you just say!? A Saiyan God?”
“Yes, exactly.” Boros answers him, sitting back down as more than a few ears within earshot are all listening to Boros speak while also trying to watch the screen. “I had heard rumors that Karn has begun cultivating some newfound power to challenge Lord Beerus, the Destroyer himself to battle. And I believe we’re about to get a sneak peek of this power.”
“You-! You used me!” Nabu shouts angrily, golden magic gathering in his hands. It feels different than almost anything you’ve felt, it reminds you of... The Guardian?! “You would dare try manipulating a god?!”
>>
>>5046411
Based Jergal gets a barbeque invite.
>>
>>5046413
“And it would seem that I succeeded.” Boros answers calmly, but his sharklike grin just gets wider. “Although I woild hardly call that simple act real manipulation.”
“Wait, that guy’s a deity too?” you ask Jergal. “I didn’t get anything like that off of his ki.”
“Of course not. Because that man is little more than a puppet, a flesh body for Nabu to exert his will upon the universe through.” Jergal answers you seriously, then you feeling the ancient deity’s genuine anger begin bubbling up in his speech as he continues. “We deities are limited in how we can interact with the mortal realm. But mortals are allowed free will. And some deities, who feel themselves above the laws that they enforce, brainwash and subjugate mortals, using them as disposable vessels to exert power through.”

“So killing that poor guy won’t stop this “Nabu” from what he’s doing?” you ask, Jergal slowly shaking his head. “Dammit. What do I need to do to stop him?”
“Oh? Even knowing he is a deity, you still intend to fight?” Jergal asks, once again stopping his writing and leaning forward a bit over his desk towards you as if waiting for your answer.
“He tried to get my family killed.” you say, looking down at your left hand a moment then clenching your fist before raising your gaze to Jergal. “And he sent an assassin instead of coming to do the job himself, so he’s clearly afraid of us. I know where he is, and can take him out right now. If I don’t take this chance right here and now, who knows when I’ll get the opportunity again?”

“Very well. I shall give you the strength you need. Step forward, Reaper Chilli.” Jergal says, sounding extremely formal as you stride directly to his desk. The elder deity reaches out, and places his writing hand atop your head. The instant he does you feel an unfamiliar power begin coursing within your veins, your exhaustion from the battle with your sister Caulifla vanishing instantly as your mana is instantly replenished. And not only restored, deathly magical energy begins radiating from you. “I have temporarily bestowed upon you a touch of my own divine power, to level the odds in your favor. But you will not be able to hold onto it for long, perhaps an hour at most. Can you do it? Do you have what it takes to reap a god?”
“I will.” you reply, putting your hands together and giving a proper bow as he pulls his hand away. “Thank you. I will not let this chance go to waste!”
“Then go. Reap the soul of a god who’s overstepped his bounds.” Jergal says, and with the sound of rushing wind you snap awake. And the first thing you see is Raven’s very worried, very concerned expression. She no doubt can sense Jergal’s power coursing through your veins, better explain it to her, and quick.

“Long story short, I found out who sent the assassin.” you tell her telepathically, Raven’s eyes widening in clear shock once you tell her the second part. “And the Final Scribe wants his soul for overstepping his bounds, and abusing his power.”
“CHILLI!!” Megumin shouts, leaping atop and hugging you tight. “I was so worri-! Brr, you’re freezing! Is everything okay?”
“I’m fine. More than fine.” you tell her, giving a quick kiss and hugging her back while sitting up. Looking around real quick, you realize you’re on Raven’s Island. But then, expanding your ki senses, don’t find your dad, Freeza, and the assassin anywhere. “Wait, where’s dad an’ Freeza?”

“I sent them to Raxus Prime.” Raven says, looking troubled. “Along with that monster. I’ve never felt a being so evil, even my father pales in comparison.”
“I should help them first.” you think to yourself. Once you kill Lobo for good, then you and your dad can teleport to Boros, and end Nabu before he can cause any more trouble. So you turn to Raven, who, clearly having been reading her mind, shakes her head.
“I won’t do it.” she says firmly, in a tone that harbors no discussion. “Absolutely not. I’m not letting you go anywhere near that monster agai-“

But she is cut off, as suddenly you feel it. Despite how far away it is, you feel your father’s ki blazing wildly! It radiates across your senses for several seconds, and focusing on your dad’s energy lock on to him. You may not have fully figured out Instant Transmission yet, but you have a technique that’s almost as good. Snapping the fingers on both hands, both staff and tome materialize in your hands. You’re going to end this, right now, with or without her assistance.

“Dark Magic: Black Cocoon!” you shout, crossing your arms and forming a sphere of dark energy around you. Then, with your mind focused on your father’s rapidly-dwindling energy, call out the name of another technique that can take you right to your father. “Shadow Step!”

Submerged in shadow, you feel your father’s energy seemingly rushing towards you, then you rise up out of a shadow on the ground. Looking up and seeing Lobo, pointing his weapon at your dad and Freeza, leap into action.

“Neither of you bastiches are leavin’ here alive! Both of yer gonna die.” he says, racking the slide and pointing it at your dad’s head! “But you first. Any last words?”
“Death Magic: Dust To Dust!” you shout, Lobo’s eyes widening in fear as your magic hits, his left hand immediately beginning to turn to dust. His gun drops down into the crater near you, the man without hesitation driving his right hand into his chest, and pulling out his own heart. Before you, Freeza, or Karn can stop him Lobo pitches it away from you all, well-clear of the crater and disappearing over a mountain of garbage.
>>
>>5046420
“I’m not gonna let you bastiches kill me!” he taunts, flipping your dad off as his body is rapidly turned to dust. His body’s right hand is the last part of him to vanish, maintaining flipping you off until it’s completely gone, turning to nothing more than dust in the wind. “That’s what you get for trying to assassinate me!” you snarl, then barely hear your clearly-spent dad speak.
“He-He’s not dead.” your dad manages to say, chest heaving and clearly on the verge of passing out. “His heart. We have to. To find it.”
“Not today Karn.” Freeza says, sounding completely exhausted. “None of us are in any shape to continue this fight. Let us take our chance, and return you back home.”

And as if on cue, one of Raven’s portals opens up beside the three of you. And without hesitation Freeza gives you a look that he clearly wants you through first, so you comply. He then carries your dad through, with his own body between you both and the direction Lobo pitched his heart. Clearly not wanting to take any chances with the madman. The instant you all are through, Raven snaps the portal closed, and nearly a dozen voices all shout some variation of “Daddy!!”
“Easy now, easy.” Freeza tells your kids softly as he sets your old man down, laying his head in Meloka’s lap. “Your father just went through hell.”

Your dad then passes out, head slumping over in Momma’s lap while your siblings are all piled on him. Meanwhile, Freeza then turns to you, eyes narrowing as he looks at you suspiciously

“I don’t know how you managed to get there. But....Thank you.” he says, expression softening. “I’m not sure I have the strength left to have done anything.”
“It’s not over yet.” you say, and with your crystal magic quickly create a replica of the table you’d seen Boros and Nabu at. You have to move quickly. “I saw the bastard responsible. And I’m going to end this.”
“Chilli, wait. What are you-?” he asks, but you have to end this, and now, before he can escape.
“Dark Magic: Shadow Step!” you say, leaping under the table and activating your magic. The shadows consume you for several seconds, and when they fade you hear the distinct voice of Boros above you.

“-eem Karn and Freeza have triumphed.” he’s saying, when you interrupt their peaceful discussion with a bang.
“HRRRAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, blazing up to your Ascended Super Saiyan form while standing up tall, the table exploding from the force of your transformation. You point at the startled Nabu, who’d flipped his chair back and fell to the ground in shock while activating your staff’s crystalline scythe blade. “Nabu the Coward! I: Chilli, son of Karn, have come to reap your immortal soul!”

Chilli could feel Divine Ki, couldn't he? Like, he properly sensed and could differentiate it from standard Ki. Both from the Guardian, which was ages ago, and now, with Nabu, before Jergal gave him his boon.

Does this mean that Chilli has some spark of Divine power inside him? Is that why he's so good at Magic?

Look very carefully at the text. His MAGIC felt divine, not the poor entrapped man’s ki.
>Does this mean that Chilli has some spark of Divine power inside him?
Well at the moment he does, and more than just a spark.
The Guardian died years before Chilli even awakened to magic. But Nabu’s magic’s divine essence reminds him of the Guardian, under who’s soul he’d still been learning from thanks to the holocron.
>>5046560
He’s gonna try.
>>5046560
Boros is playing his game very carefully. He found someone who wants Karn dead, is doubtful that he could defeat them, and they won’t be dissuaded? Best to convince him to send an assassin after Karn who fights head on, and won’t try things like poisoning him and his ENTIRE family, taking his kids as hostages, or anything else underhanded.
>>5046585
He was confident that, if not Karn then Freeza would defeat him.
>>
>>5046588
>Entering his dimension without an invitation would not go well for you. You saw how that reality shifted just with his mood.
Don't care, he gets a gift, nerds like Jergal, even as a god, need someone pushy.
>Better question: will you even be awake for it?
Not like we'll be there for it.
>Best to convince him to send an assassin after Karn who fights head on, and won’t try things like poisoning him and his ENTIRE family, taking his kids as hostages, or anything else underhanded.
That makes plenty sense, get the most obvious assassin ever to go after him, someone Nabu would know, and after he fails, the godling freaks out.

He’s one of the few deities who don’t deserve mortal spite. He even handed off duties and power when he couldn’t handle absolutely everything in the domain of Death by himself.

And I believe we’re about to get a sneak peek of this power.”
Actually wait. Where and how the fuck did Boros hear this? Why did he hear this? We haven't even done any transformation training besides Maintaining Beserker 2 and every Saiyan trains Transformation....Stamina?
>>
>>5046902
We are not exactly secretive about our training schemes, but I'm guessing Vegeta let it slide that Beerus is coming and that he wants us to be the one to fight him. Still weird that it became a rumor, and that it has gotten that far.

That's reasonable I guess. I imagine they're crafted from what few trees exist in the Fugue Plane, so that alone commands a premium.
On the topic of planes and realms, has Chilli dabbled in creating pocket dimensions? Seems like something he'd get a lot of use out of.
Would he also be willing to come train with the rest of the family for a little? I'm talking just long enough to master Instant Transmission. It seems odd that he hasn't quite got that one down yet.
>>
I prefer other solutions, because using Wish makes the Stand dormant . However if situation would become really desperate then wishing for Divine Dragon Force to:
>Trap Lobo, his clones and any pieces of him that he can regenerate from in Blind Eternities.
This would probably doom him. Though maybe his immortality would prevent him from being fully destroyed? He would be stuck in a nearly erased state for who knows how long. Maybe till somebody rescues him? Then he would regenerate.

Regardless of this it is a place that most likely only a Planeswalker or some magician could escape.
Doing the same to Boo could be unreliable. Majin once screamed so hard he broke out of the Room of Spirit and Time.
>>
>>5047319
Crushing Lobo to the point his soul pops out would be a valuable target. Because we can kill him then.
>>
>>5047319
I'd say we go for a Su-Ma Grapple into Immovable Energy Body to keep him in place, then have Chilli blast him with Death Magic.
Only problem with that is what might happen if we're caught in the spell as well, might be a Goku vs Raditz situation.
We might also hedge our bets on Frieza being able to dominate the fight and focus on keeping a super barrier up so Lobo can't escape again. Though that's assuming he's only coming with the same gear he had last time.
Alternatively, we could just Final Flash him into the nearest star. That seems to kill just about anything besides movie villains.

No, he’s not very talented with that sort of magic. He’s more an elementalist: light, dark, crystal, fire, ice, etc.
As for Instant Transmission, neither you nor Meloka have been teaching it to the kids yet, as they’re not ready yet. Not for the technique itself, but for the responsibilities it comes with. YOU become a literal first responder to any situation that develops on the planet, and sometimes beyond. The fact he’d been trying to figure it out on his own should be more astonishing.
>>5047319
I dislike that the post you’re referring to was deleted, either that or you’re talking to yourself. Anyways:
>Blind Eternities
Would slow him, for a time. If you could get him there. However, we’ve seen far weaker-willed beings resist the will of Wish Dragons before. And Lobo has straight-up walked through Green Lantern constructs.
Buu would escape easily enough, but he may end up somewhere else amd devour their inhabitants first before returning. Are you ABSOLUTELY SURE you want to risk something like that?
>>5047321
True enough.
>>5047341
Even worse, honestly. Special Beam Cannon only hurt for an instant, severing the spinal column like that.
>>
>>5047362
>Not for the technique itself, but for the responsibilities it comes with.
As it stands, Chilli already has far more responsibilities than any 11 year old should. He should at least be given the tools for the job.
I feel like Broly might also be ready for what the technique entails, but that's another matter entirely.
>>
>>5047367
I'd say Caulifla should know, but I'm worried about her not stopping to rest at that point.
>>
>>5047394
I'm starting to get Deja-Vu here.
Remember back in the day when we were debating whether or not we should teach the kids how to do the Energy Blade technique?
Good times.
>>
>>5047367
Broly fully comprehends the implications of knowing IT, and vocally stated to Meloka he isn’t ready for that level of responsibility yet. As for Chilli, he already has more than enough obligations. And if he succeeds with this, perhaps even more? The rules for deities interfering with others’ disciples in the mortal realm are rather straightforward, at least for gods. Jergal gets to exert up to the level of meddling in the motal realm the transgressor(s) has/have.
>>5047394
She already, still makes her daily trips around the planet offering her healing to everyone and anyone, and OOC info, spoilers: even has several medical staff on telepathic speed dial in case of any emergencies. >>
>>5047427
>>5047426
....God damnit she takes after her old man to much, would she even be willing to tell us what it is she even wants? Does she understand wanting anything for herself? Fuuuck, it feels like we are screwing up raising her like we almost irreparably did with Chilli. Maybe we can sneak the question in when Chaya goes back to Dreadzone about what the kids want to do in life.
>>
>>5047448
We could also just ask her directly. It's not something delicate like the incident with Chilli.
Besides, who better to talk to her about balancing people's needs versus your own than Karn?

She may not know how to answer. That’s a deep question, especially for an 8 year old.
>>
>>5047481
I'm not saying we ask her "What do you want to do with your life?".

Being neurologically wired for conflict even more than humans are certainly doesn't help with our perception of saiyans.

>>5047608
Right? Doesn’t help that in today’s near-slaughter they got a grim reminder why Karn pushes them to be ever-stronger. “The strong make the rules, the weak obey or are killed.” And are sometimes killed anyway for the strong’s amusement, or no reason at all. No one participating in that tournament, or there at the arena watching it for that matter, realistically thought they would fare any better against Lobo than Freeza did.
True, but most Saiyans get even more enjoyment out of deadly battle than humans get out of looking at moving pixels on screens shaped like sportball players, or trashy women, a group of Friends, etc.

>>5047972
Mostly taught as they were on Planet Vegeta, still more combat-focused than anything. Basic reading/writing/numbers when they’re young, enough to interact with the wider PTO, but Saiyans don’t start out as civilians when born. They are born soldiers. Those who show no combat aptitude and have miniscule powerlevels despite the 20x grvaity on New Salda are educated further, since they can’t fight they’re tested to discover other potentially useful skills they may have. Like the scientists, comms operation, maintaining the many electrical/mechanical systems on the planet, etc. Could you imagine how difficult repairing systems would be if you were a normal PTO grunt trying to work in 20x Earth’s gravity?
As for living space, the city is set to expand, and construction on the second city started AGAIN. Mainly to help split up air traffic, and make a larger gravity-controlled enclosure for other PTO species. And hopefully it isn’t razed to the ground by another invading force this time...
PTO humanoids, like Appule, Jeice, Recoome’s species.

>“Then go. Reap the soul of a god who’s overstepped his bounds.”
You said somebody higher on the totem pole directed Nabu to do this. To send assassin after Karn and Chilli . So maybe Nabu will be like, "I have not overstepped any divine laws. I am merely fulfilling the will of a higher than me deity." And this might spark some conflict between gods. Who could be Nabu's boss though? You said someone above Shin. Elder God? Cetrion maybe?

Reasonable answer "no". Yet facing Buuren would surely be an incredible battle. Though I'm aware that it could result in a question "Do you want to continue Karn's adventures in the afterlife or try a new protagonist?" Then again perhaps there would be no afterlife after battle with Buuren because he would absorb Karn and our protagonist would be lost forever as a part of the monster.

Speaking of doomsday tier threats. Pic related. Buuren has a friend Buuhit. They fight in team. Imagine facing enemy duo like that. I say RIP.

I'm curious about Zarbon's race. Do they all dislike combat like he does? He's not around so we can't ask him in character. I was wondering if they could be another one of PTO's warrior races like Tamaraneans and Saiyans or Ctarl Ctarl. Zarbon's race has a natural transformation that looks promising, yet because he dislikes combat and training it is impossible to tell if they have potential to be really good fighters like the other know warrior races.

Nabu would throw whoever it was under the bus, if he could.
Especially not DCs Satan. Trigon is pretty close to pure evil.

All I’ll say is someone is keeping Boros in the loop.

You would not win. Giving a sadistic monster like Buu Jiren’s deadly power would quickly spell your end.
Absorption enemies who take strong threats are an absolute menace.
Maybe one day canonized, the Smiling Angel bringing health with nothing more than her words telling them to Triumph.
Zarbon doesn’t dislike combat, as he enjoys beating the hell out of others. He just hates his ‘true’ form because it is ugly. Top tier narcissist. But he is a mutant amongst his kind, his canon powerlevel far and above the others of his race.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After Chilli’s victory over Caulifla, securing his place as the fourth quarterfinalist, he was suddenly attacked by an assassin! Karn, Meloka, and Freeza all lept into battle. However, Freeza was soon greviously injured, and Karn snapped. With a roar of rage that shook the entire planet, Karn transformed! Attaining a new power, Karn made easy work of Lobo. At least, at first. But as Karn continued ripping and tearing more and more Lobo arose, until Freeza returned and Raven sent them all to another world. Karn and Freeza battled the army of Lobo until only one remained, and that last Lobo would have succeeded were it not for Chilli. Just in the nick of time he arrived, and his Death magic ended the fight. And as we rejoin Karn, escaping back through the portal, your body’s finally given up and you lose consciousness.

“Haaaaa. This feels nice.” you say, laying back in the void you find yourself in and allow your body to simply relax. It feels especia comforting after the state your body was left in, before you passed out. Your memory of the battle is fuzzy at best, but you do remember Chilli coming through at the last moment and saving both you and Freeza. You smile at the memory, your son having saved you. “Not bad kiddo.”
“He’s turned into a fine young man.” Towa says, you opening your eyes and see her hovering parallel a few feet above you. “You’ve raised him well.”
“Thanks.” you say, your smile fading a bit. “Sometimes I feel like he became a good one in spite of me. I’ve failed him, Towa. More than once.”

“Had you coddled him more, and not made him want to earn his place in the universe, he could have turned out far, far worse.” she says, pressing her body to yours and raising her right hand to caress your face. “He’s grown up strong, determined, and driven to change the universe. Not to sit back and rest on his achievements.”
“Yeah, that’s true enough.” you say, unable to NOT think of your eldest daughter’s comparative lack of drive. But after a moment you shake your head, and focus on the present. “So, how’re you and the kids? Everything okay?”

“Everyone’s doing well, I’ve finally finished the the last of the defenses for our new home.” she says, a gleam of pride in her eyes. “Now you all will be able to come over, and let the whole family spend time together again.”
“That sounds good.” you say, holding her close to you. “It’s been too long.”
“That it has.” she says, a hint of sadness to her voice. “But now we can bring all the kids back to spending more time with each other again.”

con
>>
>>5048870
“But enough about us, there was something I wanted to talk about.” she says, tone turning serious and instantly drawing your attention. “Specifically about that transformation you just used.”
“I’m surprised I managed it myself.” you admit to her, remembering how powerful you’d felt even against an army of beings nearly as powerful as your Ascended Berserker form. “I thought I’d need the Super Saiyan God ritual to pull that one off. At least after what Mechikabura’d said.”
“Of course that’s what he said.” Towa says dismissively. “Because even after all you’ve achieved, he still underestimates you.”

“Pardon the intrusion. But I do want to clarify that I do NOT underestimate you, Karn.” Mechikabura says, appearing suddenly beside the two of you as if he’d been standing there invisible the entire time. “I prefer the term “hedging my bets”, as it were. And while you did achieve the Berserker God state on your own, how long did it last?”
“I-I’m not sure actually.” you reply honestly, your memories of the battle are hazy at best. “It was at least long enough for Chilli to recover from his grievous injuries.”
“Not even five minutes. And I would also wager that, upon waking, you will not have the strength left to transform, much less fight. Your body simply wasn’t ready for this transformation.”
“So how do I get ready?” you ask, genuinely curious. Should Lobo return, he’ll no doubt be better prepared for gunning after you. “What do I need to wield this power?”

“Keep training as you have been, and push on.” the elder Demon God says. “After all, once you’ve fully recovered, your body will be stronger for having momentarily grasped that power. But, in the meantime, how about a show?”
“Show? Of what?” Towa asks him warily, Mechikabura chuckling.
“Of your son, Karn.” he answers, scrying orb appearing suddenly in his free hand. “After all, Chilli is confronting the one who sent your timeline’s last Czarnian after you as we speak.”
“HRRRAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you hear him roar, as the table an unfamiliar figure and Boros are sitting at explodes! Your son rises to his feet and points at the startled man in a golden mask, who’d flipped his chair back and fell to the ground in shock. Chilli’s staff’s crystalline scythe blade springs forth menacingly as he addresses the man, ignoring Boros completely. “Nabu the Coward! I: Chilli, son of Karn, have come to reap your immortal soul!”

Well? What do you do?
>You can’t let him fight on his own, he’s still weak from his fight with Caulifla, and if Boros interferes he’s done for! Force yourself awake, even if you have to tear your own arms off to do it!

one thing i wanna point out is Boros knows thats Karns kid and he has no reason to get Karn 50 kinds of pissed off by mauling his kid, especially after he just watched Lobo get absolutely eviscerated by Karn. Another thing to add is Karn and Boros are in fact on really good terms.

They really are. It's nice to have a sort of friendly rivalry like that.
It's a shame that he fancies himself a ruler in the same vein as Frieza. Sooner or later, he's gonna have to kneel to Frieza or get cut down.
I hope he's smart about it, because I'd hate to have to kill the guy.

I'm confused, is there a difference between Berserker 3 and God or are they basically merged together due to how little the representation of these forms shows for changes.

Lurker who tries to keep up with the recent threads in between catching up
>>
>>5048947
Right then. Well, its a bit complicated, so I'll try to explain while GD writes up the next update.
>>
>>5048947
First off, for all intents and purposes, Berserk 3 and God are functionally separate forms. The reason both use the ritual is while the God evolution line is largely the same as you expect it, Berserk using it is from the fact that those with the Legendary gene, Karn, Broly, Nappa's kids for example. Have an adverse reaction to the ritual, typically, if you aren't near the peak of the evolution branch like Karn is, the ritual will do nothing, the god spark is rejected by the natural Wrath of the Berserk line, but, it does give enough of a power boost to force Berserk 3 to occur if your strong enough, with the obvious problem that would happen with such an event. Which is why Karn doing it so early is such a surprise, as nobody expected him to break that barrier on his own, and so early at that. Berserk God however is, basically, a Mortal God, a true birth of a god without needing the natural Gods, or even the Kais, essentially the literal Devil in the eyes of Zamasu. Since Berserk God is strong enough to have the title, but not be a rampaging monster. Imagine what happens when Berserk 3 is crossed with Perfect Ultra Instinct. Kinda a big deal as that just makes the Berserker have God Ki with his natural Ki with no outside influence. Keep in mind this is a real ROUGH explanation.

So kinda like how in most circumstances it would be next to impossible for a normal mortal to reach SS3 without having boundless energy and stamina or the tail as a conduit to draw out that excess power. I think I get it. Still will wait for the official explanation just to be sure but thanks for the info dump.

“How?” you ask Mechikabura, not looking away from your son standing over the golden-helmeted man. “How did Chilli find this guy? Did Boros tip him off?”
“Not exactly. In fact, Boros directed Nabu towards hiring the Czarnian.” Mechikabura says, and you feel your fury beginning to rekindle. “He was observing Nabu trying to hire different mercenaries to assassinate you and your eldest son, and stepped in.”
“That bastard!” you snarl, fury blazing to life in your chest. You’re gonna kill him!
“Now, stay your hand, if you would, and listen a moment.” Mechikabura says calmly. “He did your family a favor. Instead of the poisoner, who has never failed to kill his target, Boros instead directed him to hire the Czarnian who attacks his targets head-on.”

“You’re trying to say he helped us?” you ask, disbelieving. But as you say this, Boros himself begins speaking.
“Excellent response time, son of Karn.” he says, still sitting in his chair and holding his glass idly. “Nabu here is the one who’d sent that assassin after you and your father.”
“You-?!” Nabu shouts, floating up to his feet as golden magical circles begin forming in the air around him. You’re reminded of Tanya doing similar in her battle against Kars with the power she took from some other deity, and wonder if Nabu is some sort of god as well? If he is, Chilli could be in trouble!

KA-CHUNK

Both Chilli and Nabu freeze, turning towards the barkeep. He’s a solidly-built man, bald head gleaming and apron clean, as he hefts a dangerous-looking double-barreled shotgun with a wicked blade on the front and points it at them. Then with his free hand points to the sign above him menacingly.

All fights are to be settled outside, or in the arena

“If both of you would come with us, we shall lead you both there.” Boros says, rising to his feet. “Melzargard, if you would lead Nabu, I’ll take Chilli.”
“Of course.”
“Yes, that is good.” “Very good.” the many heads of Melzagard say, placing one hand firmly on the deity’s shoulder. “If you would come with us.”
“Yes, with us.”
“Hmph.” Nabu replies, body language clearly upset with how things are proceeding but going along with it.
“Chilli, was it?” Lord Boros asks your son, gesturing towards a far door. “If you would come with me.”
“Very well.” your son says after a moment, walking with the leader of Dark Matter as his lieutenant leads the deity away through a different door. And once they’re through, your son turns to the older warrior. “Why?”

“Why what, young warrior?” Boros asks, not stopping and continuing to walk down the narrow hall. “Why did I help Nabu to send Lobo after you all?”
“No, why are you helping me?” he asks, Boros stopping and giving your son a sly grin.
“Helping you? No, I’m helping myself.” he replies. “I wanted to see your father’s hidden power he was saving for Lord Beerus for myself, and Nabu and that Czarnian were merely the catalyst. And now that I’ve seen your father’s power, I have no need for a deity who tries to have my allies murdered.”
“And why didn’t you try stopping him yourself?” your son asks him, which is a reasonable question. But so too is his answer.

“Gods wield magic beyond my understanding, which I currently have limited ability to defend against.” he replies, giving Chilli an even more sharklike grin. “So now you’ll fight him, and I’ll get to see more of what the forces of magic are truly capable of. Show me your might, young Saiyan, and take your vengeance against the one who wants your family dead.”

“Oh, you want to see what magic can do?” you ask him, a smirk coming to your face. “Fine. I’ll show you what an archwizard can do.”
“I’m looking forward to this.” he says, turning back and walking the last dozen or so feet to the door. It slides open with a hiss, Boros leaping to his left as you walk through. This room is far brighter than the dimly-lit hall you’d just left, Nabu gliding through the opposite doorway as Melzagard leaps away up to his master’s side. You glance over, seeing the stadium seating and Boros already seated.

You are Chilli, son of Karn, Reaper serving the Final Scribe, husband of Megumin, and the first and only archwizard amongst the Saiyan race. Thanks to your divine patron, you had learned Nabu was the one who’d sent Lobo after your family. And now, all that is left is for you to end Nabu: destroy the poor man who’s body Nabu stole, then destroy the helmet housing the deity’s soul.

“In this space, the two of you are free to battle as you will.” Lord Boros says as heavily-armored panels slam down over the doors you’d both arrived through. “Once one of you surrenders, or is no more, I shall open the doors.”
“Tell me, coward.” you say, snapping your fingers to conjure your tome in your left hand. “What was his name?”
“Of whom do you speak?” Nabu replies, golden magical energy gathering in his palms.
“The man who’s free will you stole!” you reply, pointing your scythe-staff at him. “Once you’re bested, I shall properly record his death, and give him a small bit of honor back. Or you could give him his life back, and fight me yourself.”
“Kent Nelson.” Nabu says suddenly after a dozen or so seconds, catching you by surprise. “He was a noble soul, who aspired to the ideals of Order.”
“Then I shall lay his body to rest!” you shout, slamming the tome shut. “HRRAAAAAA!!!”

Your golden aura blazes, power rising up to it’s peak. Time to make this wannabe god pay!

But how will you start this?
>Disregard a magic offensive, try catching him off guard by rushing and attack him with your Su Ma technique
>Start with your Crystal Magic: Paledrake’s Lair to set the stage for your victory
>Unleash your Dark Magic: Black Hole right behind him then fire your Tricky Disc while he struggles against that gravitational pull

“Crystal Magic!!” you roar, slamming your staff crystal scythe blade down into the ground. “Paledrake’s Lair!!”

From your scythe’s blade magical crystals rapidly expand out over the ground. As the crystals grow out towards Nabu, the lesser god leaps straight into the air instead of trying to resist your crystals. As he does, however, you can sense him gathering his divine magic.

“Chains of Order!” he bellows, and before you can react golden chains leap from the deity and bind you. But you ignore them, focusing on your spell until the ceiling is completely covered. The magical links wrap around your body, pinning you in place and now keep you from moving, but it’s too late. You’ve already set the stage for your victory. “And now, you shall perish. Ankh of Justice!”

He fires what appears to be a large, golden rune ending in a razor-sharp point directly down at you to end this fight. But his attack never reaches you. With a flick of your hand, a wall of crystals rise up and intercept Nabu’s attack. It pierces straight through, stopping only once the crossguard slams into the attack, the needle-like point stopping a mere inch from your face. Then gesturing down with your other hand, focused on the poor slave’s ki, you form a crystal stalactite and drop it straight down at the god.

“Such paltry tricks cannot sto-ooooh!!” he shouts in surprise as the crystalcicle slams down onto his golden helm. It glances off the god-possessed metal, and instead of killing him is deflected down in front of him The spike slams down into the ground between Nabu and your wall holding the god’s rapidly-fading attack. You focus your magic, letting thr crystals grow up from the ground around both yourself and Nabu’s bodies, the crystals forming a layer between yourself and the magical chains. Your crystals shrouding your body expand rapidly, straining the chains until they shatter. You then rise up to your feet, just in time to see through your crystal wall the god free himself with a golden burst of energy. “Such fragile bonds cannot hold me.”
“Then how about this?” you ask, the wall between you transforming into a pillar of spikes, as you drop it down on him. Nabu forms another of his Ankhs, it shielding him as your giant crystal club slams down. His shield absorbs the impact, crystals shattering against his shield. As the wall crumbles, you see that a dozenish spikes have pierced into his shield, but not far enough to pierce his body. “Tch! Should have made them longer.”

“Paltry tricks.” Nabu says, rising back into the aid. “You cannot win, child: I have seen your future.”
“That’s the thing about the future.” you say, retaking your fighting stance, Jergal Tome held between you almost like a shield. “It isn’t yet set in stone!”
“You are destined to lose.” he replies, gathering a ball of magical energy in his hands. “I do not fall here.”
“We’ll see about that!” you shout, golden aura blazing as sparks dance along your body.

But what next?

“Let me show you a taste of why you’ll lose!” you shout, snapping the tome shut and banishing it. You then slide your right hand up the staff’s length as you grip the bottom with your left, holding it vertically before you. “Combination Magic: Death and Crystal!”

https://youtube.com/watch?v=qjZb8Y1QvpE

“What?!” he shouts in surprise, backing away as your magic begins forming a wide crossguard where the staff’s scythe blade was, before a blade the width of your torso begins forming and rising up out of the crossguard. Your combined magics form a blade of paler-than-usual crystals, radiating with the sickening energy of Death itself. “Impossible! Y-You wield the powers of Death as well?!”
“Reaper’s Blade: Crystal Executioner!” you declare as the blade’s creation finishes, taking a step forward with your left and holding the double-edged sword down at the ready by your right side. Small crystal flakes, looking almost like snow rain down from the blade, sounding like the first few drops of a hailstorm. “Time to die, Nabu.”
“Order cannot die!” he declares, throwing his hands forward and once more sending his golden chains your way. “Chains of Order!!”

“HAAAAA!!” you roar, leaping straight into the air above the chains, flipping and landing feet-first on the ceiling, still facing Nabu. He sees this and with a gesture fires another ankh at you with a cry of “Ankh of Justice!” You don’t reply, and simply swing your sword with a roar. Magical blades clash, but despite his being fueled by divine magic, your blade slices cleanly through his divine attack.
“What? N-No!” Nabu says, genuine fear in his voice. And that is your signal to attack! You launch yourself forward, Nabu creating a shield of golden energy that resembles your dad’s Barrier. But you don’t back down, charging forward right for him.

“DIE!!” you roar, and swing with every ounce of might you can muster. Your magical blade slams into the deity’s shield, and immediately starts cutting through it.
“I-Impossible! he shouts, ending the shield and flying back away from you. As he does, your swing carries you into a spin, while the deity creates another ankh and fires it at you seemingly out of desperation. “Begone!”

cont
>>
>>5049265
But you were ready. With a simple move, you let the momentum carry you in a circle, spinning around just outside his blade’s edge. Then before the “crossguard” can catch you you spin out around it, on Nabu’s left side. He’s wide open!

“May your soul rest in peace, Kent Nelson.” you say, and swing your blade down. Your deathly crystal edge crashes into Nabu’s helm, just above the flared end above the neck. Your deathly magic blade crashes against the divine metal, it resisting your sword for a moment before your deadly combo magic cuts through even the helm itself with a shearing shriek. Nabu cries out in agony, back arching before your blade buries itself in the man’s neck. Your sword cuts through the possessed man without resistance, decapitating him.

Crimson blood sprays, Kent’s body dropping lifelessly to the ground as the helmet remains in the air screaming in agony. You try using your momentum to spin once more for another swing, but before you can a shockwave blasts you back from him. Nabu continues screaming in pain as you’re blasted back to the ground, landing on your feet. You watch as the mortal’s body quickly turns to dust. Which is a side effect of a Reaper weapon, as those killed one cannot ever be resurrected. Nabu continues screaming in pain, your attack having hurt him.

But what now?
>Rush back in, try to end this as quickly as you can before he can fully recover
>Rush up and grab the helm, try crushing it and hopefully Nabu inside in your bare hands
>Use your ultimate technique, Death Magic: Dust to Dust before Nabu can recover to hopefully end him

We should get Chilli a horse for his birthday. Or some other badass animal he can ride around.
>>
>>5049325
Darksiders is a thing I think, maybe we can find a Spirit Horse like theirs for Chilli?
>>
>>5049325
Nice idea.
So:
> Chilli - Death
> Karn - War
> Famine - ???
> Pestilence - ??? (though I have seen on the internet on some websites list "Conquest" or "Plague" instead of "Pestilence". If we went with "Conquest" instead then maybe Freeza - Conquest)
>>
>>5049346
There's three routes we could go I think.
>Ask Darth Bane if he knows of any particularly hardy beasts that would be fit to ride
>Commission a genetically modified animal from the lab techs under the pretenses of our death world project
>Go into the woods of New Salda and drag a young beast out kicking and screaming

We can always go to megumins world and bully a dragon until it gives up and becomes his mount. Dragon riders are also always cool.

Basically some dipshit God from the DC universe sent an assassin after karn and Co, karn got berserker 3, chili found the dude and is now killing off a DC god of order because even karns children are bullshit.

Karn

Chilli just ended Nabu.
It runs in the family.

I wonder if Broly will be the chillest in the family at this rate. Chaya is piddling the days away, so maybe a vist to her demon siblings will relight the fire under her ass.

Seizing the initiative, you release your greatsword with your left hand, and take aim at the still-shrieking helmet.

“This ends now, Nabu!” you shout, ready to end this fight here and now. “Dea-!”

But before you can cast your spell, two new figures enter the stage. Long, golden hair flowing down her back, your mother appears before you, but she’s not alone: Lord Freeza is here as well? What are they doing?!

“Apologies for the delay, young Chilli.” Lord Freeza says, rising up to his feet as he turns to you, and gives a small smile. “It took us quite some time to track your energy down all the way our here.”
“The hell were you thinking?!” your mother says, whirling on you and glaring furiously. “What are you doing all the way out here? On your own?”
“GET DOWN!!” you shout, dashing past them and swinging your giant blade overhead straight down on the ankh Nabu’s helm fired at you all. Your crystal blade slams the ankh straight down into the ground, then turn and look at them both. “What are you doing here? It’s dangerous!”

“Chilli is right, you two may want to get clear.” Lord Boros calls, as another scream comes from Nabu’s helm. The bodiless god fires a swarm of hand-sized ankhs down at the three of you, you raising your left hand high and raising a wall of crystal to block the attack. “Magic, as it turns out, can be quite dangerous.”
“Please, Mom. I can’t fight him while protecting you and Freeza too.” you say, voice strained as your wall cracks from the force of the dozens upon dozens of tiny ankhs slam into and pierce your wall. It won’t last much longer! “Please, trust me! I can do this!”

Your mother stares at you for a moment, her face a mix of emotions before Freeza reaches out, grabbing her by the arm.

“Let him go, Meloka.” he says seriously. “I have faith Chilli can win this.”
“You better.” she says to you after a moment, the two leaping away from the fight towards Lord Boros and the stands. You let your shielding crystal shatter completely once they’re clear, leaping back away as the helm keeps firing it’s swarm at you. You keep dashing back and away, dodging left and right as the helmet keeps trying to fill you full of it’s razor-sharp magical symbols. You have to find your next opportunity, make an opening and end this. But then you feel it: a wave of exhaustion suddenly washes over you!

https://youtube.com/watch?v=FlY1tRkYL4A

The sudden exhaustion crashes down on your shoulders like a wave, causing you to miss a step and stumble. Nabu capitalizes on the opening, focusing fire as you trip. Unable to didge you slam your left hand down on the ground, forming a quick crystal half-dome up around you. The ankhs slam into your thin crystal shield, piercing through it up to their crossguards and making the inside of your dome resemble a thorned torture chamber. Regaining your feet you leap back, and not a moment too soon as three giant ankhs slam into your shield, skewering where you’d been an instant ago. But this creates the opening you needed!

“Death Magic: Dust to Dust!!” you call, thrusting your left hand at the helmet. Which recoils as if you’d struck it with your fist, and the left side of it begins turning to dust! “Now, begone!!”
“N-NO! NNNOOOOOOOOOO!!” Nabu screams out in abject agony. “I! Will not! Perish here!!”

His helmet then turns towards your mother and Freeza, then fires a giant ankh at them!!

“NOOOO!!” you shout, and in panic pitch your giant sword underhanded under your outstretched left arm. Your blade rapidly spins, flying out and slamming into the ankh. Your blade shatters Nabu’s, and keeps flying until it slams into the far wall point first. You then reach out with your right, grabbing the helm with telekinesis and turning him towards you. “Look at me as you die!”
“I am not fated to perish here!” Nabu shouts back, an even larger ankh apprating behind the helmet. “Today is NOT my end!”
“Who are you trying to convince, me or you?” you taunt, putting on a brave face as this spell keeps burning far more mana than usual against the ancient deity’s helmet. You’re burning through the energy Jergal had bestowed upon you for this, but you won’t need it once this bastard is gone for good! “This attack decides it!!”

“I will not perish alone! BONDS OF FATE!!” the helmet roars, golden chains exploding out from the ankh and binding around your neck. But you’re not the only one, the chains attacking everyone present!
“SHYAAAAAAA!!!” Freeza roars, exploding up into his Golden form once more and blasts the chains away from himself and Meloka with nothing more than his aura. Meanwhile Melzagard dashes in front of Lord Boros, the chains binding him in place. A loyal bodyguard to the end, if nothing else.
“Surrender now, or I shall take your head!” he calls, a note of desperation in his voice as you’ve now erased more than half of Nabu’s helm! “GIVE! IN!”

Well? What do you do?
>Release the technique while using telekinesis to pull your blade back, and sever these chains
>Stay the course, and end him. No matter what it takes, end him

Freeza blasted the chains away from himself and Meloka, and Melzagard took the hit for Boros. The only one potentially at any risk of even taking damage here is Chilli

“Dammit!” you say, watching helplessly through Mechikabura’s scrying orb he’d left behind earlier before leaving as that damned helmet binds your son in it’s chains. “I can’t sit back and watch anymore! I have to get up, now!”
“You can’t. Your body still hasn’t recovered from transforming.” Towa says, voice full of concern as Freeza screams, transforming again and blasting the chains away from himself and your wife. Meanwhile Melzagard takes the hit for Lord Boros, the chains piercing through and binding his body in place. “You won’t be able to fight this battle for him Karn.”
“It doesn’t matter, I have to go.” you reply, gently pushing Towa off of you where she’s been the entire time you were watching him fight. “I will not let my son face this on his own.”

And without another word you close your eyes, and focus on your body. Sure your body is still completely exhausted, but you don’t care. You WILL wake up, right now!

“Gaah!” you gasp, eyes springing open as you force yourself to awaken. Everything still hurts, your limbs feeling like they were recently on fire, but you can’t just sit here. You have to save your son!
“Karn? Bu-But how?” Raven says, as you begin pushing yourself upright. “Your body still hasn’t recovered yet.”
“I have to go.” you say, rising up unsteadily to your feet. “Chilli needs my help.”
“I should go too.” Caulifla says, not sounding like her usual, happy self. She sounds like something’s bothering her, but you can talk about that when you get back. “It’s my fault that-“
“No kiddo, not on this one.” you say, raising your right hand to your forehead. “I have to go save your brother.”
“Please...Please bring him back safely.” she says, tears coming to her eyes. “Don’t let Chilli get hurt!”
“I promise I’ll bring him back safe.” you say, then close your eyes as you focus on finding the ki signature you’re searching for. And it only takes a moment, Golden Freeza’s power radiating out unmistakably to your senses. “There they are. I’ll be right back.”

And then you vanish, leaving New Salda behind and instantly appearing beside your friend. Who’s clearly shocked by your sudden apprarance, yet still manages to bind a trio of the approaching golden chains with telekinesis.

“K-Karn?” he asks, clearly confused but you don’t say a word. Instead you clench your fists, and focus absolutely everything you’ve got left on one goal: saving Chilli!

“HRRAAAAAAAAA!!!”

“Karn wait!” Freeza shouts as your body screams in protest as you launch yourself forward, dashing at your son as golden chains suddenly blast out of the golden rune behind the rapidly-fading helmet at you. You ignore the chains, focused solely on your son as he keeps erasing the bastard.

“D-Dad?!” he asks, shocked at your sudden appearance and approach. “How did y-gaaak!!”
“CHILLI!!” you shout in worry as those chains tighten, cutting off his air completely. Your son’s hand doesn’t waver, keeping his power focused on erasing that helmet-bound deity despite the chains tightening on him.
“Karn the Fateless! You cannot stop Fate!” the fading god bellows, several of the chains flying around suddenly bind you as well, stopping you completely in place a good four or five yards short of your son. They slice into you, the chain links cutting into your skin as you see the same happening to Chilli!? If you don’t save him soon, that bastard will decapitate your son!!
“RRRAAAAAA!!” you roar, aura blazing as your body expanding as you transform. “GET OUT OF MY WAAAAAY!!”

And for just a moment, you force yourself once more into your Berserker form. Your transformation shatters the chains binding you, blasting the broken ends away as you dash over to your son. You see his jaw clenched, arms trembling as he feels the bladed chains cutting into his neck, but determined to take that bastard with him! But your son isn’t dying today!

“HAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, grasping the chain around his neck in both hands, and pulling. You pull it in seperate directions, the chain groaning in protest. The metal creaks and groans as you pull at it with all of your rapidly-fading might, the mask god shouting something incomprehensible as even more chains rush forward to bind you again. But before they can dozens of needles pierce into the gaps in the chain, exploding and shattering the approaching constructs.
“Hurry Karn!” Meloka shouts, dashing between you and the helmet, both swords blazing as she slashes more approaching chains.

“HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, and with a final, triumphant bellow tear the chain binding your son. One link shatters, severing the chain and splitting it cleanly in two. But with that effort the last of your strength is expended, your power plummeting as you drop to your knees. You did it.
“YOU INSOLENT MORTALS!!” the mask’s remains bellowing, as blinding golden light begins radiating out from it, The light blinds you, as everything is consumed by this deity’s last resort. “FATE WILL NOT FALL THIS DAY!!”
