Heyo! So, after a couple months of pause and a wedding, we are back in action to conclude who would be the overlord species of the planet (and who would DIE AND BURN)--If I get enough of my olden players (I believe we were 10 right? So 8 will suffice) I shall continue. If not, well, a new game will be upon us.
Game rules and STUFF from the previous thread are archived in here >>>http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/4946647/2mgta
Cambria the mold is reporting in sir
Smegmo here to rule
>>5054123woopsgave a bad linkHere is the archive:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive/4946647/
>>5054120Worms are here to stay fellas
>>5054120Im late but im here now, can we get a little recap of last turn just in case?
Rolled 3, 3, 2 = 8 (3d3)Rolling for boogie's chance of negating the crisis effect (3d3, form north to south. Target 3 to survive)
Roll 57"Feasting upon all around them, the ever-expanding minds of the Elder Smeg's become accustomed to using minute amounts of psionic energy to aid in breaking down food. This psionic energy has allowed them to gain a method of psionically induced propulsion, increasing the rate at which they spread through the ocean. They are now known as "Enthrallers"Evolve the Enthraller on my right, south most Elder Smeg tile.Expansions:- Free expand my Smegmo G2 on >6 ^2, left to right, diagonally right into the ocean tile containing a Smegmocean G2 and a Boog-Efo- Free expand my Smegmocean G1 to the right, onto the Smegmocean G2 originator tile to wipe out the guts.
Forgot how to roll for my turn, im sure it was autofill but i cleaned my browser
>>5054684its /dice 1d100 in options under name
Rolled 33 (1d100)>>5054734Thanks>>5054120Well we are rolling now so i move puppet and hive up
>>5054750We all did our turns back then, just waiting on Bid to process them. Hopefully Nut sees this and makes it back. But since we're doing refresher posts for our last turns, mine was:((Rolled 63 (1d100)The Glideloupes (Gloupes G3) make better use of their membranes. First, they were used to swim, and then they were used to glide. The next natural step is flight. These creatures take to the skies in large swarms, feasting by the coastline and snatching the ill-fated gliders out of the sky. They're like seagulls, rapidly reproducing and hunting in large swarms.Attribute: Ocean. For the trait, I'd like something to do with flying and propagation, hopefully something that boosts the free/passive expansion?))
Bumping in hopes of Nut seeing. You there, bud? Come back!
bumping with the official detonated mold flora
>>5055602nut isnt returning this month, you will need to wait until december 1 like the others
>>5056053kekI'll post later on today if nut wont show up.Let us pray for nut
Rolled 2 (1d3)>>5054120Let me seeI i remember correctly i wanted to randomly ecpand with my flyglidders amirite? And just for fun lets roll again
i actually dont know what i was doing and dont know why i am not expanding the frog.who knows and i half remember something about something thriving when it should not thrive
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2mJh3FbSs8also here have some music as i cant stop thinking of rainworld with floupes making me think of the lizards and perhaps the glid on the path to become like the vultures
>>5056291to be honest i have forgot all about my plans so im going to make new ones
Alright, its been 2 moths. Lets hope i havent fucked up too much> ### NEW TURN
Rolled 1 (1d3)>>5057140Rolling an expansion. Since it'll be the newly evolved Glideloupes, and they're on land, it'll be a 1d3 due to the unfortunate Terran trait.
>>5057147Alright. The seagulls move up into the seas to feast on Glidders, and other members of the species expand to various regions.
>>5057140SooI present the Spit GlidderThis ones made to replace their less offensive/defensive but suicidal siblings.the Spit glidds muzzle changed redicaly .not only the nose became thicker but in the cheeks (r)evolutionary experiment went over. self propellered teeth "machine gun" these guns have a small amount of exremely sharp teeth held inside the "magazine" organ replacing the missing ones. these teeth have a small boil on them which contains the same chemicals that makes the glidders capable of high velocity speeds.either this species will be the saviour of the glidders or another failure we will see
Rolled 68 (1d100)>>5057219i forgot to roll i hope after a few months of hiatus the dice will less likely screw me up.
>>5057225oh and the population i choose is the one which shares its tile with the guts.
Rolled 92 (1d100)>>5057140evolve the coral molder not thriving with a sonic.exe on it >emerging/evolving from down below the sanic.exe the molder Leeches latch on feeding sickening/weakening those that do not perish (i would like to become a parasite and become more toxic but mainly just actually have working parasitism)>the quantum mold uses its warped expansion >detonate the land molder under the sanic.exe
>>5057263well fuck could i switch this over too queen as i have the art asset ready? if not i am fine with it just surprised this would have been the YOLO moment
>>5057267>>5057263https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_mJnLU71Vchttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDAreivSjIY&list=PLA41FBE817859ACC3soundtrack for the situation but overdramatic as both are actually super tiny
Rolled 95 (1d100)The Volcanic Guts, once adapted to scorched wastelands, now find themselves in the freezing north. The abilities that once served to protect against unbearable heat now defend against similarly unbearable cold: the Bagged Gut uses it's insulated and termally regulated lava storage cavity as a makeshift shelter, hiding it's other appendages inside it.
Rolling to expand my enthrallerspassive expand my right most elder Smeg right, Smegmodotr right as we
Got a two in the discord. Expanding my enthrallers directly above me, and also to the right into the ocean.
>>5057140Forgot about this for a minute here is my rollso i evolve g2After what feels like months the seed have forgot what they were doing so they tried to remeber fast, after not remembering they just decide to become more toxic and take the form of the last host
Rolled 54 (1d100)>>5057620My roll didnt happen so here is my roll again
Rolled 50 (1d100)>>5057140> evolve the Grasping Peke on the spore biome into the Carrier PekeIn this weird, weird land made of spores and decaying flesh, the Peke didn’t thrive, not exactly. These things lacked soul, lacked heat, lacked anything that might feed them, but they weren’t dying. Still, their evolved thinking helped them realize that this was not a fertile pasture, and so they did, listening to something other than mad hunger for once in their time.As they moved, they fell prey to some offshoots of the terrifying Gloupes, the vanguards of that dreadful host (if such a name can be given to a herd of abominations as those are), with many a Peke falling to the expert hunters. Some survived though, and it just so happened that these individuals shared a particular bond with the spores, being capable of cooperating with them, lugging them around and helping them spread, all while gaining an “armor” of poisonous material that while not finding purchase in the peke’s specially adapted shell, definitely harmed more unfamiliar beings. And so it was that the Carrier Peke was born, not out of mad hunger warping the worms’ bodies as had been for millennia, but through natural selection, a process ironically alien to the twisted beings up until now >+1 toxic!
Rolled 4 + 1 (1d5 + 1)>>5057263> “Parasitic colonies” -These species grow in colonies upon larger species in their environment. Latching onto them with tiny spikes, slowly draining their nutrients awayIG: if your species shares a tile with a larger species that has less toxicity than your species digestion and they can not eat each other, you become a parasite to that species. Being a parasite causes the other species to take a disadvantage, while granting an advantage to your species.--also you can't detonate, its only instead of expanding. Expanding is not something you can do from that tile. Same mistake last turn, so I reverted it abit c:>>5057913> "Swamp Fever" -After years of staying in the swamp, the seed has begun to host many different viruses it got adjusted to, yet predators may suffer by.IG: On swamp tiles, you get to have the toxic bonus from both the swamp itself and from being in 3 generations gap difference than another predator species.>>5057219> “Teeth Machine-Gun” -Hiding beneath the waves waiting for an ambush - These species use self propellered teeth "machine gun" utilizing teeth held inside the "magazine" organ replacing the missing ones. IG: if these species camouflage and sensors are higher than another species on their tile, you can spend your main action to “attack” with them, which will eradicate the other species on their tile. Can’t be used in environments they aren’t adapted to.>>5057340> “Granite Shell” -These species use the sticky and thick magma stored in their intestines to sculpture shelters, using their arctic environment to cool them off and turn them to granite shells.IG: On arctic tiles only, these species are considered “Hardened” which requires predators to have additional digestion point to eat them. In addition, these species gain a thriving advantage on arctic tiles.> " Augmented Spores" -Living and thriving among other toxic species, these species have learned to utilize the toxicity of smaller beings and augment it as armor around their body.IG: If these species share a tile with a smaller and more toxic species that they are able to eat, their effective toxicity is increased by +1. Doesn't stack with the bonus from marshes or from the 3 generation gap.---And now ROLLING FOR THE FATE OF THE WORLD
Rolled 3 (1d6)Rolling to see which crisis its gonna be--> Global Crisis events!I will roll 1d5+X at the end of every turn. If the score would be 5 or above a crisis would happen. X grows by +1 each turn until a crisis happens, then it resets to 0. the game will end at the end of the turn where the 3rd crisis happens.>1: Volcanic eruption1d3 random volcanic wasteland tiles erupts, killing everything on it. Species on nearby tiles that are not in ocean, not adapted to volcanic environment and over size 1 will go extinct too.>2: Solar storm1d4 random tiles on the northmost and 1d4 tiles on the southmost rows will get Ionized by the solar storm, all none-thriving species on those tiles will die>3: Tsunami floods1d4 land tiles adjacent to oceans will become "Shallows", all species on adjacent ocean tiles will automatically migrate into the shallow tile.>4: Meteor strike1d10 random tiles will be hit by meteors, killing anything on those tiles. New "Crater" tile will be created as a new subtype biome of the tile it is on, craters can sustain life up to +1 size and allow 2 different species to thrive within. If meteor hits ocean nothing happens, if it hits shallows the species get eradicated but a "crater" wont be created.> 5: Rise of the KrakenA "Kraken" species spawn in a random ocean tile. They have the size of 4, and 1d4+1 point in each attribute (rolling 5d4 to check)They have a trait which allows them to exist self sufficiently in size 4 on water. They eradicate everything they eat, and are eradicated if eaten. They expand 1 tile in a random direction that has a species on it each turn. They stop expanding when there are 4 Krakens on the map.> 6: Alien probeAn alien ship probes the planet, and abducts 1 tile with a thriving species from each player. Players get to choose which thriving species they give away.
Rolled 2 (1d4)Tsunami: How many waves hit
Rolled 11, 12 = 23 (2d17)
still waiting for obu's new picture for peke, then new turn can be posted.gotta go to sleep now tho, good night
Rolled 3 + 1 (1d3 + 1)Rolling my final expansion for the official game. Come on, dice gods…
Rolled 1 + 1 (1d3 + 1)>>5059019
Rolling for Smegmodotrs... They trudge along the ice and snow at a hurried pace. They feel it.
Rolled 1 + 1 (1d2 + 1)
Rolled 2 + 1 (1d3 + 1)guts
> ### NEW TURN
Smegmo here! Sensing the impending disaster in their ancestor's ranks, the Enthrallers try to save as much of their species as possible. The top most enthraller passively expanded upwards, into the straitIn the south, the appearance of a strange new form of creature in their glacial sheets has drawn the attention of the bestial Smegmo G2s. They passively expand into the tile containing a Smegmodotr, Smegmo G2 and Quantic Mold to eradicate it from existence.Rapidly trudging through a blizzard in the southern hemisphere, the equine forms of the Smegmodotr travel far. They expand on the arctic tile two tiles to their right. The Elder Smegs (Smegmocean G2) grow in numbers, the right-most Smegmocean G2 traveling diagonally down into the tile next to the arctic that contains an Enthraller and a BoogefoA quiver of psionic potential later created in the Elder Smegs hits a Smegmocean G1 at the world border in the Glacial Sea. It expands straight down, into the arctic tile containing a Smegmo G1
Just realized I made an invalid move. Ignore my Smego G2 movement and my Smegmocean G2 movement. Move the right-most Smegmocean G2 straight down into the arctic to wipe out the quantic mold. Dont worry about Smegmo G2 movement.
Rolled 2 (1d3)>>5059934The spit Glidders expant into the western tiles. And the free move: the catalina Boatglidds expand into the eastern tile.
>>5059049>As their cousins take over the continent in its entirety, the flocks of flying Glideloupes continue spreading across the seas, enjoying the bountiful, fresher prey.Expanding from that tile, since I'm actually thriving from it due to Carrion Eater and the Guts. Using the latest Ocean-glide trait to jump an extra space. Holding off on the last expansion in order to match my bois the Smegmos and tie at 17 tiles.
>>5059934i move the new one down and the free move henshin 2 down
I await obu
>>5059053>>5061162He rolled expansion, but waiting on him to pick his tiles.
>>5060517my rolls are being post, fuck
Rolled 1 (1d3)>>5061347Third times the charm
Rolled 15 (1d100)>>5059934>THE_CUBE when being encroached/CROWDED on in the area of there wave-function, probability increases in there sphere/bubble/THEM of THE_CUBE where they are at all at the same-time on average can cause such things as Quantum tunneling of nearby beings of such as protons to cause the spontaneous formation of deuterium and the combination of hydrogen into helium from increased presence/PERCEPTION AGITATING THEM acting as a defense mechanism when being out competed for energy from increasing population density of other beings.>all of this is seen too us beings inhabiting this universe is when THE_CUBE becomes too crowded it start vibrating on the spot as it violently exists in all space in a sphere around a "centerpoint" more then it does usually unperceptive decreasing the probability of it acting like a 3d object and increases such things as violently existing inside your cells for the smallest of moments causing your atoms to quantum tunnel or DELETING you from realityhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GGfz-o5khc(biofeedback please exactly and a increase in sensors ) evolving in the arctic among the smeg>parasitic mold expands into the volcanic wasteland>mold log expands to volcanic wasteland with the frog and quantum >coral molder expands to grasping peke with only the normal molder
>>5061682gloupes explained things apparently you only pick being adapted for the environment or a stat point outside of the traits.so apparently i did all of this stupidly
>>5061682>>5061692sigh can i just change it too arctic attribute instead of sensors because of my easy stupid mistake after months of waiting and forgetting rules and remembering them wrong
>>5061692>>5061697IMO it’s majorly unfair to, because you only realised after I pointed it out, and unlike an invalid action, this is a completely valid move that’ll just result in the death of the evo— since you explicitly didn’t evolve to survive in the Arctic, and requested a trait that also has nothing to do with Arctic survival. And the fact that we had the discussion on attributes and how to get them days ago, so it’s still fresh, and was clarified by GM in no uncertain terms.
>>5061711cant i please just feel stupid without grinding in even more how stupid i was when its 4 am in the morning and i can barely think
posting em last turn's evos
>>5059308>>5059934for arctic guts
>>5061954Oh yeah forgot they could eradicate tiles
i sit tight for a update and hope
Bumping so it doesn't fall off the board before we can conclude it and get an archive.
>>5072319i dont want this to disappear hope QM is okay
