It is a time of peace. With Lord Freeza’s explosive declaration, naming himself Emperor of the Universe after single-handedly obliterating the Covenant stronghold High Charity, peace has come to the universe. Not wanting to stand against him and his unstoppable Super Saiyans, within days of his declaration the universe bent the knee. And while there are always outliers, those stubborn or foolish enough to try and resist, the overwhelming majority of the universe is bending the knee. And he wouldn’t have achieved all this, defeated the strongest military in the universe and survived the Prophet’s ultimate weapon without your help.

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest, the story of an alternate timeline in the greater Dragonball EU. Currently it is Age 750 and you the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power recognized across the universe. Now as a PTO general with a powerlevel of over 101 million, and close friend and confidant of Lord Freeza himself, Emperor of the Universe: Karn has become his people’s greatest champion.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After waking up in bed between Towa and Meloka, Karn took his son to try getting him to walk, then joined his family for lunch before heading off to a gravity chamber with Broly and Maza. Karn trained with the two of them in intense gravity training, then went to Milha and allowed her to unleash her harrowing Curse Magic upon him until suddenly Trunks appeared, in the custody of the Demon God Mechikabura and the enigmatic Fu. Where Mechikabura requested help from Karn's son Chilli and his powerful Chaos magic. Chilli obliged, Mechikabura adding his magical power to Chilli's to have enough might for the spell. Then once it was over, Karn kicked Trunks through Fu's portal back to whence they'd snatched him before Karn had a heartfelt conversation with Chilli about trust. Then alone with Towa and Meloka, Karn spent quality time with the two women as well, and as we rejoin Karn, you find yourself in bed with one women on either side of you enjoying the afterglow together.

“I had no idea your tails could do that.” Towa says, still a little out of breath as Meloka stretches, then gets up out of bed with a smile on her face. Your wife begins dressing, pulling her suit back on before sliding her feet into her boots. “Where are you going?”
“Karn Jr probably needs fed right about now.” she says, tapping her boot a few times and making sure it's in place before raising her right hand to her head, and after a moment uses Instant Transmission to travel directly to your youngest kid. You sigh out contentedly, and rise back up to your own feet.
“You too?” she asks, sounding a bit exasperated. “How can you two still move after that?”

“Huh?” you reply eloquently, then shrug. “I dunno. Perhaps it's practice?”
“Well then, guess I'll have to practice more while you're still here.” she says with a lazy smile as you start dressing again. “But if you're not gonna lay here, where are you gonna go?”

Which is a good question. You still haven't spent any time with Koruza today, as well as most of your fully-Saiyan children you'd brought here into Towa's lab with you. You take a moment to focus your ki sense, and get a sense of who's where. Future Chaya and Chaya are in one room with Broly, Ace, and Maza, while Chilli and Megumin are presumably still in the library, now accompanied by Milha, Maz, and Kayle. Tatsu and Tomi are with Okira and Koruza, somewhere deeper inside the fortress near Caulifla and Cell who're seemingly still practicing.

But where do you go?
>Head over to the Chayas, Broly, Ace, and Maza
>Visit with Koruza, Okira, Tatsu, and Tomi
>See how Chilli and Megumin are doing.
>Stop by Cell and Caulifla, see how her techniques are coming along

“I think I'm just going to wander around a bit, and try to get the layout of this place nailed down in my head.” you tell her, sliding your boots on. “It's really difficult to orient myself in here.”
“I'm sure such a space would be claustrophobic to you.” she says sympathetically. “It took Chaya more than two years to get used to it, when she first arrived. It isn't quite an...ideal layout, but this place is unquestioningly secure. As far as I've seen anyways, I haven't explored every inch myself.”
“What do you mean?” you ask, immediately worried. But she doesn't seem concerned in the slightest.
“I already went through every room with any magical signatures, except for that storage room.” she tells you with a reassuring smile. “There is nothing inside my home to worry about, except inside those storage containers. Just don't open them up, okay?”

“No problem. I'm not going to open anything suspicious.” you tell her, and walking towards the door. Then before you go out, you turn back, Towa pulling the sheets down and winking at you before pulling it back up. You head on out, looking down both halls before deciding on going down the right hall. You start heading out that way, stopping by the nearest door and opening it. You see that you're back at Milha's room, and immediately shut the door back. You're not just going to snoop through your kid's room while she's not here. You walk up to the next door, and opening it find that you're looking in an empty room. It's a twenty-ish foot cube of empty space, white walls with a grey floor and her Time Breaker emblem emblazoned in the center of the floor.

You leave the empty room and continue down, wandering up and down the hallways for the next hour. You don't encounter anyone along the way, passing by the rooms the others are in and making mental notes of what's where. You pass by the familiar library double doors, and by an unremarkable door that Caulifla and Cell are doubtlessly still practicing that Clothes Beam behind. You pass by them, not interfering with her learning the bug man's skill, and continue exploring. Deeper and deeper you descend, down the halls that become more and more bare the further down you go. At first the walls were all uniform metal, then with some the stone was showing, and in two spots magma flowed down freely where a wall panel doubtlessly should be, until you find a hallway made entirely of stone. Curious you walk down, down into the darkness. Unable to see ahead any more, you focus for a moment and transform, your emerald glow illuminating the hall around you. It heads downwards at a gentle slope; you walk a hundred yards or so before coming to a different sort of door.

>>5162138
Unlike the library's heavy double doors, the lab and training rooms' reinforced gravity seal doors, this one appears to be made of a solid, darker stone than the halls itself. Except, it doesn't have any sort of handle. You find yourself staring at a slab of some sort of stone pressed into a hole just wide enough for it, and still showing a small seam around it. This is certainly different, whatever's through here has to be worth seeing.

But how do you get through?
>Use your Berserker might and simply smash through the block door
>Use your telekinesis, and try shoving the block down into the room beyond
>Use your telekinesis and try pulling the block out into the hallway you're in

"I bet pushing it is the wrong way to move it." you mutter, approaching the 'door'. You walk up to the seal and see less than a half-inch between the block and the wall. You're not grabbing onto it and pulling it out by hand. But you possess other methods of moving this stone. You brace your feet and reach out, grasping the stone with your telekinetic grasp. You envelop the stone in your grip, feeling it's more cube-like and just as thick as it is wide. With the entire object held in your telekinetic 'hand', you make a pulling gesture, trying to pull the ancient stone from out of the hole. But it doesn't move. More than that, the ancient boulder is seemingly resisting your telekinesis, sliding a bit further back into the wall. Now the stone and the walls on either side are roughly flush, that cube no longer slightly protruding out into the hall.

“The hell?” you mutter, releasing your grasp in confusion. How the hell did it resist your pull, and shove itself further into the room? Is it actually supposed to go that way?”
“I have seen this sort of security before.” Darth Bane's specter says, appearing beside you. Deep in the tomb of Freedon Nadd, on planet Dxun, I had encountered a similar defense used to seal that ancient Sith Lord's holocron away. As well as the Orbalisks, those damned parasites. No feeble attempt will pull such a block free.”
“Then how did you pull it free, if it resists telekinesis?” you ask, knowing the spirit's former body's prime couldn't match you physically even a decade ago.

“You have to get angry.” he replies, brows furrowed. “Dig deep into your pain, your anger, your hatred. Use your emotions as fuel, to ignite an inferno of rage inside yourself. And only with that power, showing your strength in the Dark Side, will the stone move. Do you have what it takes to face this? Or will you tuck your tail between your legs and flee, like a dog?”
“Get angry, huh?” you think, feeling a smirk come to your face. You think you understand what he means. Closing your eyes, you think back on your life to all the terrible events that sparked you to push beyond your limits. From those Grey's giant war machines to the metal llizards to the Covenant's fleet trying to exterminate you and your kind, you remember all who've wronged you. Especially the Time Patrol, and that worthless Kai who rules them. You feel your anger beginning to rise, and almost instinctually put it down. But not this time. You let your rage flow, your body actually heating up as your breaths become shorter and faster, pressure building up behind your eyes as your arms tremble. You let this inferno of rage build until you think you're going to explode, then thrust your right arm back out at the stone block with a roar.

“GRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, reaching out with your full fury directed at the block. The moment you touch it with your telekinetic grip the stone explodes out of the wall, slamming directly into you. But your rage is blazing so brightly you barely feel it, grabbing onto the 'door' with your arms and pitching it back up the hall in blind fury with another bellow. “RRRAAAAA!!”
“Most impressive. Your people's capacity for rage is quite exceptional.” he says, your red-tinted glare turning on him. And for an instant you almost attack him as well, but instead take a deep breath, refocusing your mind. No need to rampage here, especially against someone you can't actually touch. “If only I had discovered your species before, then perhaps things would have been different.”

“WHA...What was that thing?” you ask, glancing back only to see the stone's halfway buried in the upwards-slanting hallway floor from the force of your toss.
“Some materials in the universe are sensitive to the Force, especially the Darker aspects.” the former Sith Lord continues. “Many substances in the universe can interact with unseen forces, such as that of the Kyber Crystals of Ilum. But you have gained access to the room beyond, go forth and claim your prize.”

"Hey Towa, I found that sealed off hall down in the depths." you think out to her, Towa immediately responding.
"Wait what? You-You actually opened it?" she asks, you sensing her shock through the link. “How?”
“Telekinesis. I pulled it out of the wall that way.” you tell her, glancing back to the damaged hall. “Kinda broke the hallway path a bit, but it's open.”
“Hold on, one moment.” she says, her connection to you fading a bit for several moments. You reach out to Meloka in the meantime, and tell her what you did as well.

“She was surprised?” Meloka asks, a note of worry in her voice. “That can't be good.”
“The scanners haven't picked up anything, magical or otherwise in the area just beyond you.” Towa suddenly replies, leaping back in. “But there is a bit of interference coming in through, there's certainly something in there. Be careful.”
“Need backup?” Meloka asks, you shaking your head.
“Don't think so. I don't feel anything threatening.” you reply, turning your focus back on the doorway. “But I'll let you know if I need anything hun.”
“Be safe” Meloka answers, while simultaneously Towa adds in, “Be careful.”

You can feel the sudden tension in the telepathic link, and instead of dealing with it you end the connection. That's a fight you want no part of, they can figure that out for themselves.

“The better part of valor.” Bane mutters, the Sith's ghostly form rapidly dissipating. Leaving you alone with the now-opened seal before you.
“Well, no time like the present.” you say, taking the step towards the hole. Nothing happens until you walk into the doorway itself, but as you do an icy chill creeps up your spine. The temperature drops dozens of degrees in a second, your next breath forming a cloud in front of you for a moment. “The hell?”

Something's wrong here, wrong but familiar somehow. The darkness weighs down on you, almost clinging to your body as you walk further in. You don't see anything, nor sense anything with your ki sense, yet can't shake the feeling that you're being watched. Something's got it's eye on you.

“HAAA!” you call, aura blazing out to double it's size and illuminating out three or four yards from you. But you still don't see anything, and nothing suddenly leaps out of the darkness towards you. However, something does catch your eye. At the edge of your vision, you see something shining on the ground, barely visible in the darkness. Striding forward, you kneel down, and see what appears to be some sort of pitch-black liquid. Your aura doesn't illuminate the fluid, it dully reflecting the light of your aura back at you. You start reaching out towards it, then inches away suddenly stop, pulling your hand back. Something tells you that touching that darkness would be a bad idea.

“Wait. I recognize this.” you say, as the memories you'd used to tap into your rage reminded you of something else. You've seen this darkness before. You've been gripped by this darkness before, in the Abyss beneath the Supreme Kai of Time's dungeon! Rising back to your feet, you stride forward, determined to find the source of this darkness. Which doesn't take you long. After a dozen or so steps, you come to a familiar-seeming alter in the darkness. Six pillars, five broken and all seeming partially-dissolved by the dark almost-slime covering them, surround a ring of a darker, metallic-seeming circle inlaid in the ground. “I remember this.”

Towa's previous lab had a portal similar to this down in it's depths as well, albeit in a far more finished room. Which begs the question, what happened to the Towa who'd lived here previously? Where did she go? But you can't ponder this long, because as your light touches this shrine, suddenly it reacts. A purplish light illuminates the circle, dark smoke slowly rising and drifting up out of the black hole. And the feeling of being watched suddenly redoubles. Something's down there, down in the Abyss.

What do you do?
>Head back out of the room immediately, and use your telekinesis to seal this darkness back away. This can't be good
>The portal's open, inviting you in, and you feel the compulsion in your chest to go inside. Take the plunge

"Hey Chilli, can you hear me?" you reach out telepathically to your firstborn son Chilli. "I found something down here, need you and your Dark magic expertise to take a look."
"Sure, give me just a moment." he replies, and after several moments you hear an odd, almost sucking sound. You look around confused, seeing nothing in the darkness, then suddenly sense Chilli's ki appear behind you. Turning around you see your son, his eyes wide as he looks around. "Man, it's dark down here. HAAAA!!"

With a shout Chilli transforms, pale golden light barely visible around him as he transforms into a Super Saiyan. But like your own transformation, his doesn't light up the room either. Even with your lights combined, the darkness isn't brightened noticeably.

“Huh. Now that's different.” he says, looking around. “This isn't normal darkness. This is something far older, and deeper. Almost like....”
“Aku?” you offer, seeing your son's eyes widen in sudden realization. But then your instincts immediately scream at you that something's wrong, that you're under attack! Whatever's been watching you is finally maki- “Mrmff!?”
“DAD?!” you hear Chilli shout as your entire body is grabbed! Something hard clamps down on both sides of your shins as something slimy wraps around you, your entire body jerked directly up off the ground then pulled towards the Abyss portal you'd discovered. “Light Magic: Sunbeam!”

As Chilli fires out his magical attack, whatever grabbed you unleashes a primal scream of pain and outrage. And fury. Whatever grabbed you is not only hurt by Chilli's attack, but it's PISSED about it. That fleshy thing wraps tighter around you, trying to crush your body but you've had enough! You're not letting this...Thing drag you anywhere.

“GRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, Ascending in a blaze of sparks as your power immediately doubles, energy blasting out as you fire off a powerful Explosive Wave.
“GAAAAAAA!!” the entity cries out as it releases you, you catching yourself in midair and reorienting just in time to see a worm-like being disappearing down into the dark portal. It's head doesn't appear able to fit, yet somehow the worm simply slides down into the void, vanishing.
“Dad! Are you okay?” Chilli asks, face full of frightened worry.
“I'm fine kiddo. Ever see anything like that before?” you ask, landing beside him and facing that dark portal while telepathically reaching out to Towa. “Looks like your old dark portal down here, giant worm just tried to eat me.”
“No, never.” he replies. “Whatever it was, that wasn't a dragon.”
“A worm?” she asks, sounding more confused than concerned. “What are you talking about? The scanners up here haven't detected any signs of life down there the whole time besides you and Chilli.”

“Hold on one second.” you reply, telepathically linking Chilli to the conversation as you eye the dark portal like a hawk. “What did you see Chilli?”
“It was a giant worm creature with grayish color, two weird, fleshy whiskers on it's face, and giant flat teeth.” your son tells you. “And it tried to eat you in one bite.”
“Eat you?” she asks, her incredulity clear through the psychic link. “It was that big?”
“It was giant.” Chilli answers, while muttering something for a moment. He then raises his staff, ghostly scythe blade gleaming surprisingly bright in the darkness, and calls out: “Eat THIS!”

His pendant on his chest suddenly explodes with golden light, perfectly illuminating a sphere of a few yards around him. The darkness on the ground and portal's shrine seem to almost recoil at the sudden burst but is probably a trick of the light. At least you thought, until Chilli speaks up.

“Towa, we have a problem.” he thinks to the both of you. “The Abyss is spreading out of this portal.”
“...Dammit.” she answers after a moment, then to your surprise actually defers to your son. “Can you seal it?”
“I'm not sure.” he replies uncertainly, looking to you and asking aloud. “What do we do?”

“Why are they asking me?” you think to yourself, wondering why the magic-wielders are deferring to you? Just because you've been through a few Abyssal portals doesn't mean you know what to do here. You can still feel it glaring at you, the monster waiting for another opportunity no doubt to strike.

Well?

Thinking it over for a moment, you decide that caution is prudent when facing the Abyss. You focus on the dark portal open in front of you, making sure nothing comes out as you speak to your son.

“Not sure? Well, that's more than I can do to close it.” you tell him. “We'll bring everyone down here, and keep you covered while you get this hole sealed up. Sound like a plan?”

Glancing away from the hole for a moment, you see your son is looking up at you with a mix of shock and surprise. You look back at the Abyssal gate, making sure no more hungry worms emerge while he thinks it over. But that only takes a few moments.

“I think I can seal it.” he suddenly answers, projecting his voice a bit more as it's filled with confidence. Seems like your faith in Chilli has emboldened him. “It'll take some time, but I believe I can close it for good.”
“That's it!” you say excitedly, then telepathically reach out to Towa and Meloka both. “I need everyone down here, ready for a fight.”
“The hell?” Meloka replies immediately, her confusion evident. “What's going on?”
“Chilli's going to seal up a dark portal, but a giant worm came out of it and tried to eat me whole.” you tell her. “So, while he closes it up, we have to make sure nothing else comes out of it and disrupts him.”
“Very well.” Towa replies. “Meloka, I'll meet you down there. I have to get something first.”

“What about the youngest two?” your wife asks you.
“Maz and Kayle can watch over them, at least for a few minutes.” you reply. “Better to keep the four of them out of this, I think.”
“I understand.” she replies, mental link pulling back away from you a moment as she thinks something to herself. “Alright, I told everyone what's going on. Just a minute.”

And she ends the link, leaving you and Chilli alone in this dark cell. You keep your gaze on the dark portal, watching the dark smoke curling up from the portal into the air as you decide to ask your son a question.

“So, how will you close it?” you ask him, not breaking eye contact with the dark portal. “Flood it with light or something?”
“That would work, if I still had Mechikabura pouring his power into me.” he replies, sounding wistful. “With his power we could do that. But by myself, I don't have the power to alter an entire reality. So, I'll have to seal it with Dark magic. Somehow.”
“Leave it to you to find even MORE trouble today.” Towa says, appearing beside the two of you. For an instant you don't recognize her, the demon princess having taken on her transformed state you haven't seen since Chilli's wedding. “But I suppose it's better today than after you're already gone.”

Her hair is more wild, flowing freely down to the small of her back except for the single long bang, and somehow pinned up into two spikes resembling horns. Her red and black uniform has changed, the lower half turning into a full-length dress, while simultaneously revealing more of her upper body and middle. And in her right hand, butt plate resting against the stone ground, is the ancient immortal-slaying spear Godsend.

“We're here.” Meloka says a moment later, appearing behind you. With your ki sense you can tell that she brought Future Chaya, Cell, and all of your own children except for Maz, Kayle, Okira and Karn Jr. And from what you can sense, they're all ready for a fight.
“I don't know how you found this place.” Future Chaya says, walking right up past you with her Apex Saiyan aura blazing. “I know I searched every single room and hallway when we moved in.”
“Shhhhh!” Caulifla of all people suddenly hisses, catching you all by such surprise that no one says anything, you turning towards her confused. She leers at the dark portal a moment, then her eyes go wide as suddenly you all hear an unfamiliar noise.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mo3nDUA3KWs

“SHIT!” your usually-cheery daughter shouts, the panic clear in her voice. “Get ready! Here they come!”
“What?” you hear Maza ask, his voice deeper in his Primal Demon form. But then you sense something, and turning back towards the portal see not one, not two, but three figures cloaked in crimson shadow rising up and out of the dark portal. One is wielding a hammer not made for beings your sizes in both hands, it easily as tall as you are. The second is wielding a sword and a staff, both covered in crystals similar to Chilli's. And the third is carrying a heavy double-edged sword and dark energies swirling around it's left hand, all three wearing a familiar set of skeletal garb.
“Darkwraiths!” Caulifla shouts, as the obviously-wizard one raises his staff overhead. Only for Future Chaya and Ace, who's in his Blue Evolution form to both immediately blitz him, delivering a pair of flying kicks to his chest that launch him into the wall behind the portal. As they do, however, the one with the massive club turns to bring it smashing down onto them, but you're ready. Surging forward you don't bother with fancy tricks, and as his weapon reaches the apex of it's swing you slam shoulder-first into him, driving the warrior into the wall as well, weapon and all.

“Watch out for their left hands, they can sap your life force!” Caulifla calls out, yet as soon as she finishes speaking you hear the sound again. But this time it's from behind you all, instead of from the portal itself.

The warrior you slammed into the wall suddenly roars, bellowing with such concussive force that you're actually blown back. The pale, burning shock waves are barely visible in the shadows, but you see his shout also knocked back Ace and Future Chaya from the rapidly-dissolving figure of the mage they'd splattered against the wall. You hear an unfamiliar scream from behind you, doubtlessly one of these invading specters meeting their end at the hands of your family. But your giant club-wielding foe steps forward, clearly ready for a fight.

What now?
>Focus on eliminating each of these invaders as quickly as possible with brute force, no need for fancy tricks
>Tell Chilli to start doing whatever he's going to do, then shield him with your own body using Unmovable Energy Body

As dark as it is inside this room, the odds of something sneaking up on you, or more importantly someone else are incredibly high. So you raise your right arm, and point your pointer finger at the club-wielding, would-be assassin.

“Get out.” you say, firing your Death Beam directly between his eyes. The warrior tries evading your attack, leaping aside to his right, but your beam is far too fast. Instead of piercing the powerful warrior between the eyes, your beam pierces straight through the skull face's left eye.
“Gyaaa!” the now-obviously male specter cries out, quickly dissolving into glowing motes of red light that vanish in seconds. Once your beam ends you look around, searching for Chilli because he's the one you have to protect, and see he's already moved to the portal. He's standing atop the dark portal, right hand on his staff and his left holding onto his ancient tome. Towa is standing in front of him, wielding Godsend defensively in front of her and scanning the room. And in your moment of observation, peering at the darkness as equally as long as the half-dozen or so fights going on in the room, you realize she can somehow see in this darkness. Excellent, she'll keep a good eye over him.

“Now, who's next?” you mutter, looking over the room. You see Caulifla fighting another of these Darkwraiths as she calls them, wielding a bow of lightning and firing lightning arrow after lightning arrow at someone wielding a sword wreathed in lightning. Caulifla's shots are each caught by her assailant's blade, you wondering why your daughter's opponent is wielding a two-handed weapon in only one hand? But you can't question that for long, as suddenly a sharp, stinging pain explodes in the back of your left knee. “GYAAH?!”

Your leg immediately buckles, your weight dropping down onto your left knee. Before you can turn around to confront your attacker, that same pain suddenly blooms in the lower right side of your back, and again in your left shoulder.

“Die.” a woman's voice suddenly whispers in your ear, reaching up and grabbing onto your chin with her left arm. Immediately you realize what's about to happen, and focusing your power let your power explode.
“HRRAAAAAA!!!” you bellow, ki exploding out from you and blasting the would-be assassin away. You look over your shoulder and gather ki into your fingertips, and fire off a Death Slash into the darkness the way she flew. You watch as your emerald blade cuts through the darkness, then slams into another crimson shadow. Your blade bisects the woman, her body falling into two separate rapidly dissolving pieces as your attack slams into the solid stone wall.

“Wh-Wha...?” she mutters, rapidly fading away into nothing. But despite your would-be killer dying, your own pain doesn't suddenly disappear. You reach back at the back of your left knee, and when your hand brushes against something metal, you feel the pain blooming in your leg anew.
“Tch!” you seethe through clenched teeth, grasping firmly onto the protruding weapon and jerk it free before pulling it up to look at it. It looks odd for a knife, the top half of the blade protruding forward. It forms an almost-L shape instead of being a straight blade, the end of the blade covered in your own blood.

“HAA!” the woman fighting Caulifla shouts, kicking her back-first into the wall and raising her sword overhead for a kill shot. But, unfortunately for her, her ally you'd just dispatched gave you a perfect throwing weapon. So with your limited movement thanks to the blade in your left shoulder you pitch it, the boomerang-like blade spinning through the air in a single circle before slamming point-first into her back. The knife hits with enough force to stagger her, giving your daughter an opening. “Guuuh!?”
“Gotcha!” Caulifla shouts, left hand covered in the same darkness as the Darkwraiths as she grabs the taller woman by the face.

“NOOO! No no no no no!!” the phantom shouts in abject terror, you feeling her ki dropping as Caulifla holds her. That one's done, so you reach up your back with your right hand, and brush against the second knife in your back. It steals your breath, the pain blooming in your chest as the blade moves in your back. Fortunately it isn't deep in, you grabbing it by the blade and jerking the knife free.
“SHIT!” you shout, gasping as the painful weapon is pulled free and you can take a full breath again. As you do, you immediately reach over your left shoulder with your right arm, and jerk the third knife free as well before dropping them both to the ground, metal clattering against stone. “Gaaaah! Dammit, that hurt. Alright, who's next?”

>And that's it for tonight, everyone enjoying this run so far
It's great but also intense in a way that I'm worried. Karn already received 3 wounds.
On the other hand with everyone here I don't think the forces of dark stand any chance. Apex Chaya, Ace, Demon goddess Towa, Cell, Maza and others here. No way they are going to overpower us here, but other thing has made me worried.
What would happen if Karn got seriously wounded while isolated from his allies? Like when he was in Time Patrol Prison. Without Caulifa's miraculous help it would be bad.

I was thinking about some way for Karn to be able to heal himself, but no simple solution comes to mind and any possible healing by Divine Dragon Force comes with a very heavy price. Such an awesome Stand getting dormant for some time is a disaster.
Anyway it is time to get into battle mood. Quest resumes very soon.

You watch Caulifla rise up off the ground, brows furrowed as she also searches for her next enemy. You see Broly facing down one fighter with a double sword staff like the oldest twins have back home, using the Energy Body technique to block the rapid-fire blows with his forearms. Milha and Koruza have another in the far corner that you can't actually see through the darkness, but knowing what both of them can do there's no doubt whoever is there would rather be dead than fighting their powers. Then you hear it again, the damned sound of another dark being entering this realm from behind you. But you're tired of this.

“BEGONE!” you bellow, turning and firing a second Death Slash over your shoulder without even rising back up to your feet. The shadowy figure cries out in pain, fading back into nothing before it'd even risen out of the ground. Gritting your teeth against the pain in your knee, you force yourself back upright as well. “Tch! Damned bitch.”
“HAAAA!!” Future Chaya roars, flying over towards a dragon-looking humanoid phantom and decapitating it with a single kick. Ace then blazes past her, azure sparkling aura flaring wildly as he drives his ki-clad fist directly through another's skull face. But then you hear it, the sound you feared.
“GAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa!!” you hear someone crying in pain, and focusing your ki sense feel your heart sink: that was Chaya?! You immediately raise your right hand to your forehead, teleport with your Instant Transmission directly to her side to see more than a foot of one of the Darkwraith's wide straight swords protruding from her chest. And without hesitation you attack, raising your left hand and fire a full-power energy blast. Your energy disintegrates her attacker's upper body instantaneously, then reach out and catch your daughter before she can fall to the ground.

“Chaya! Stay with me kiddo!” you say, looking into her eyes worriedly. They're glazed over, but as you talk she blinks, refocusing her eyes and seeing you.
“D-Daa...dy?” she asks, then winces, coughing up blood. You feel helpless, unable to do anything to help her. She reaches up, grabbing at the sword and trying to push it out, but she has no strength and only manages to cut her hands up.
“I got you kiddo. Hold still.” you tell her, holding your daughter in your right then grab ahold of the sword with your left. But before you pull it free, you telepathically reach out to Caulifla. “Don't engage anyone else, get over here now. Your sister needs you.”
“On it!” she replies, you sensing her approaching. Unfortunately, she isn't the only one.

“Die, Darkmoon sympathizers!” another Darkwraith shouts, rushing forward and drawing his blade back to swing on you. But you've got no time to deal with his bullshit, dropping the blade that nearly killed Chaya and catching this bastard's weapon with your bare hand. You feel the edge bite into your hand, but it only further fuels your rage as you glare at him. “Wh-What the-?! How did you-?”

You don't even say anything, instead focusing your hatred and rage behind your furious glare. You hear the would-be slayer suddenly begin choking, and only then do you realize that you're grabbing him by the neck with your telekinesis. Which is just fine with you, pouring all your hatred and fury into this bastard. He gurgles, hands dropping the sword and both going to his neck. You watch the bastard desperately clawing at his neck, struggling for even the smallest breath when suddenly you feel something warm and soothing wash over you. Glancing back towards Chaya, you see Caulifla ringing her little bell over her. Your daughter's massive chest wound begins immediately sealing itself back, her ki stabilizing once more. A moment later she coughs again, coughing up a little bit of blood on the first cough, but by the end she's no longer coughing up anything. She opens her eyes, and smiles at you before turning to her sister.

“Thanks Cauli! I won't let them sneak me again!” Chaya shouts, and clenching her fists transforms back up into her Ascended form. Good to see she's okay, and still in the fight. You watch as she charges towards the one who's neck you'd unconsciously released, grabbing him by the head and splattering him on the ground much as you'd done to Trunks those months ago before rushing off into the darkness towards Tatsu and Tomi. Caulifla looks around uncertainly, then up to you.
“Good job kiddo.” you say, taking a moment to ruffle her golden hair before you sense Meloka rise into the air in the center of the room. No doubt about to use her ki to great effect.

But what do you do now?

“Stay on alert, and help out any of our family who need it.” you tell her, taking a deep breath and focusing your ki. “I'm going to try and thin these attackers out.”
“Alright. But how're you gonna do that?” she asks as your energy begins condensing around you, forming the hardened emerald shell around your body.
“How?” you ask, looking over your shoulder and give her a grin. “The best way I can. Directly through these bastards.”

Then without another word you charge, sprinting directly towards Broly's ki signature. Your son sees you coming, angling his opponent so their back is to you, then as your stomping charge closes in Broly leaps aside.

“Wait, wha-?” the poor double-ended sword spear says, caught by surprise as you suddenly lower your shoulder and slam full-force into his back. Something in the invader's back cracks, you driving him directly into the stone wall of the room. This assailant's body simply explodes, popping into a spray of crimson shadowy motes of light that all rapidly vanish. He didn't even scream, dying without ever realizing what happened. Turning around, you face the rest of the room and look for your next target in the darkness with your ki sense. Chaya is now helping Tatsu and Tomi battle one, while Meloka uses her aerial superiority to battle a pair of spell casters. Their lances of azure energy are barely visible from where you are, but can easily sense your wife's movements. However, you do sense a trio approaching Towa and Chilli, immediately deciding on your next targets. You take a running go, three steps then launch yourself towards the invaders.

“I warn you, you don't want to get closer.” Towa says, pointing the ancient weapon Godsend at the one in the middle. “Take another step closer, and you will die.”
“Like you can stop all three of-What the?” the trio's leader says, stepping forward. He is the only one, however, the other two hesitating then all three turning as they hear you roar.
“DIEEE!!” you roar, slamming your forearms into the first two then swing your arms forward together. You smash the two would-be assassins together back-first, the two bodies exploding in a spray of those familiar crimson motes. However, that leaves you wide open for the third one. But before it can attack, Towa lunges, disarming and decapitating the assailant with a single effortless, graceful swing. That phantom begins dissolving, but unlike the others the golden glow where Godsend struck burns away the red motes. Perhaps that weapon can permanently kill these things? She doesn't say anything and nods to you before turning, leaping back to Chilli's side to watch over your son. With her standing over his shoulder, you can focus entirely on slaughtering these bastards! Wait, what is that noise?

You hear an unfamiliar noise, and turning around see a beam of magical, shining azure light blazing directly at you. Before you can react it slams into you, piercing straight through your Energy Body and slamming directly into your chest. It pierces completely through you, the magic scorching your insides as much as your outsides as it pushes you back several feet before the attack ends.

“Guh. D-Dammit, that one hurt.” you say, clutching at your chest. Yet to your surprise, that magical attack didn't so much as scratch your Energy Body, almost ignoring it's existence as it hits you to your soul. But looking up, the staff-wielding attacker's clearly shocked. The person takes two fearful steps backwards, then raises the staff again and readies to fire that beam again. But you're not having it! “Oh I don't think so!”

You explode off the ground, closing the distance between you two near instantly. The phantom tries to dodge, but you grab this one by the head and drive them directly into the room's rock wall.

“GAAAH!” the woman cries out, you dragging her face through the wall and then pitches her. Her body continues breaking the stone of the wall, sliding through and shattering more than a dozen feet before finally falling out of the wall, fading into mist. That's another one down, who's next? Turning around, you find that your next opponents have made the choice easy, approaching you. The one on your right is wielding a giant curved sword in both hands, deep purple energy coursing along the blade. While the one on your left is wearing what you assume could be golden armor, wearing a bearded mask for some reason and holding a gigantic straight sword resting on his shoulder with electric sparks dancing along the blade.

“Well, saves me some searching.” you reply, standing up to your full height as they approach. You stand nearly double their heights, both actually stopping and hesitating. Which is your moment, immediately dashing at them both while raising your right hand to your forehead. The two warriors swing their swords down overhead at you, you focusing on the golden armored one's ki and use your Instant Transmission. You teleport directly behind him, and as his sword smashes down into the rocky ground, you spin clockwise and slam your right forearm into the side of his head. Your blow sends the lightning bladed one flying, then lunge forward with a left front kick. Your boot slams into the lighter-armored fighter's ribs, several cracking as you kick him directly into the wall. He slams into it with a tremendous impact, slumping to the ground unmoving. That's another one down.

"Hey now, that could work even better." you say to yourself, raising your right arm to your forehead and focus your ki sense. Tatsu and Tomi are still linked, flipping and spinning around one invader while another is being beaten into a wall by Broly and Chaya. Future Chaya and presumably Ace are no longer even in this small room but are up in the hall, wiping out any that try escaping the room. None are approaching Chilli at the moment, but then your suddenly feel a single suppressed ki signature from directly behind you! It's right on your back, you have to- “Shit!”

You swear as the stealthiest assailant kicks the back of your left leg, and despite having been near Caulifla healing Chaya it didn't fully heal you. So the kick drops you down to a knee, then a heavy force slams horizontally across your back.

“Gah!?” you exclaim, the heavy force again slamming into your back. But this time it actually knocks you forward, you catching yourself on your hands. And looking back, see that same golden-armored knight with the giant lightning sword. So without standing you kick backwards, slamming your right foot square into the knight's chest and send him flying backwards. Without rising you focus, and spot the one fighting Tatsu and Tomi is still standing. But you also sense another one rushing up behind him, no doubt to assist against your oldest twins. So you lock onto that ki signature, raising your right hand to your forehead, and after a second teleport. One instant you're on the ground, the next you are standing behind a phantom wielding what seem to be two swords covered in crystals similar to Chilli's.

The instant you reappear and take stock of your opponent, you swing the edge of your right hand towards their neck. Your hand slams into and through the attacker's neck, crimson motes of light exploding out from that fighter's neck like a spray of blood as thir head falls to the ground. In the same motion you lunge forward, taking a step with your left and swing your left fist directly into the small of his back. Your fist drives straight through the shadowy crimson body of that attacker, fist protruding through their gut. Tatsu and Tomi both see this, Tatsu immediately pitching Tomi feet-first at the stunned fighter's head. She slams full-force into the skull-faced attacker, shattering their head and soaring past you with a cheeky grin and wave. You draw your fist back out of the dissolving corpse, and bring your right hand back to your forehead as you expand your ki sense. But then you feel it, something's coming! Directly up from down in the portal!

You immediately focus on Chilli's ki signature, and with a second's focus teleport directly to your son's side as you reach out to him telepathically.

“Something big's coming through, you have to get clear.” you think to him, looking down into the portal. And then you see it. You aren't sure what is down there, but you see dozens of glowing red eyes peering up at you from the darkness. “Chilli, hurry.”
“I can't!” he replies, dark energies swirling up and around his body. So you decide to take the plunge, and finish this. Focusing your ki sense on the rapidly-approaching eyes from within the portal, you lock onto it's energy and once again teleport. You vanish out of the world of light, appearing behind the hulking beast below. It doesn't notice you, attention seemingly fully transfixed on Chilli as it begins reaching up. It's left arm stretches out, you reacting immediately and reaching out. Your arms grab onto something long and furry, perhaps a tail of some sort, and immediately twist your body to throw the beast away from your son.

“HRRRRAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, jerking the beast by it's tail and spinning in a clockwise circle.
“RROOOOOAAAAAAA!!” the monster roars with a deep, bassy bellow, the entire dark realm trembling with the force of it's outrage. But you don't relent, spinning once, twice, three times before pitching it directly away from the portal. You bring your right hand to your forehead, ready to escape as the beast's long left arm shoots up at you out of the darkness. But you don't let it worry you, focusing on Chilli's ki signature above you. And just as the giant, grotesque hand is about to grab you, you teleport one last time. You reappear just behind your son, who with a shout slams his staff's magical scythe end directly into the portal itself. The beast below roars again, the shadows in the room all immediately surging towards and coalescing around the portal. Your son then draws his scythe free, then again slams it back down, and shouts.

“Crystal Magic: Crystal Barrier!” he roars, his magical crystals rapidly expanding across the surface of the portal. Within a few seconds the entire stone shrine is covered in his crystals, you looking around the now-blindingly bright room. And to your surprise, each of the phantoms takes a knee simultaneously before beginning to fade away. Then after a few seconds, it's over. The invaders are all gone, and the Dark is now contained. It's over. “Phew. That was more intense than I expected.”
“You did great Chilli.” you say, powering down and sitting on the crystal-covered portal beside him. “What a day.”

Your stomach then gurgles aggressively, you chuckling as Towa just gives you a look.

“You all are going to eat me out of house and home at this rate.” she complains good-naturedly, you laughing heartily at this. She shakes her head with a smile on her face as Chilli joins in as well, and soon the entire room is laughing along as well. Even a deep, rumbling voice laughs along, sounding more like the room itself is rumbling than a person. Everyone immediately jumps back up, transforming right back into their most powerful forms as the voice keeps laughing, voice booming around you all. What the hell is that?!

QM QUESTIONS

So, there is something I've been pondering, and want to gauge popular opinion on. With so many different plot lines opened by anons' choices, this arc isn't reaching the ending point I originally wanted to reach. So, there are a few ways to proceed from here. I can go ahead and just have the time skip to get to the next "big" arc(Battle of Gods), then have some of the highlights as epilogues. Or I can end this arc within a few weeks, and move into some of the other sidequests as their own arc. What do you all think of these ideas, and which would you prefer?
>>
>>5165736
I think I would like the big-time skip but with the option to do some flashbacks sessions f we ever want to see those other sidequests in a quick yet sweet fashion.
>>
>>5165736
I say hold off on it for now, maybe wait until Chaya's fight with Tanya is over with until you come to a decision.
Personally, I think there's still a lot to be done before any sort of timeskip to BoG.
Namely the return of Babidi and the Rogue Zoldycks.
I also think there are a lot of potential character moments that should take place soon, so doing a timeskip now really wouldn't be prudent.
>>
>>5165736
>Or I can end this arc within a few weeks, and move into some of the other sidequests as their own arc
Let me clarify this. By end the arc I mean ending it WITHOUT the timeskip, and finishing the side quests(or ignoring them) before we go into the timeskip
>>
>>5165736
Could you give us a list of what Side Quests are left at this point?
>>
>>5165744
That's the problem, it could have choices that change the courses characters may take. Depending on how well(or poorly) anons do things.
>>5165754
Personally, I think there's still a lot to be done before any sort of timeskip to BoG.
You all managed to grab onto every sidequest opportunity presented, at least a little.
>>5165807
So as of right now, you have:
>The Mindslayers
>Remnants(Cyber Lin Kuei/Covenant alliance)
>The big Chaya vs Tanya fight(original Arc finale)
>The mysterious hacker
>Possibly Kazuma and Namek too
Plus, and although you've only seen him in epilogues for a while, I had planned on Cooler returning this arc as well since he has his shiny new Stand and all. Not to mention all the character development possibilities we have for the kids in different ways. At this point, the timeskip itself may have to be its own arc.

Luckily this is a good problem to have, at least on my end. MORE ready content is better than scrambling to bs something.
>>
>>5165835
The Remnants and the hacker I'd like to have at least some involvement. The Mindslayers could be perfectly solved offscreen, there isn't much content to get out of that. And I don't think there's any big stakes that justify us going to Namek. Overall there's still some juice we can get out of the arc but the timeskip still seems very necessary.
>>
>>5165835
I'd like to play it all out, boss.
>>
>>5165835
I'd like to see some of the side quest. Like the remnants (no one else must know that they sneaked up on us), chaya vs Tanya, and namek
>>
>>5165845
>The Mindslayers could be perfectly solved offscreen, there isn't much content to get out of that
Oh yeah, nothing but time working together with Chilli.
>And I don't think there's any big stakes that justify us going to Namek.
>going
Not initially, no. But if there’s one thing we know of Namek, when one party shows up for the Dragonballs, another inevitably follows.
>>5165854
Same honestly. Which is why I’m most likely deviating from my initial plan, and saving the timeskip for the end of the next arc.
>>
>>5165835
Working with Chilli is fine, probably shouldn't take long either to deal with the Mindslayers.

The Remnants are sort of something we do need to deal with. Getting tired of their shit.

The big fight is the closing arc so required.

The Mysterious Hacker I'm willing to leave in Arctus's hands, unless we find out it was the damn Zoldycks, in which case we are sorta required to be there because wtf we had a truce.

I want to see Kazuma and Namek the most ngl. Because yes others are gunna show up, I want to see my favorite slug boys and Super Kami Guru, and I want to see if Freeza actually makes a wish and if so what.
>>
>>5165736
>I can go ahead and just have the time skip to get to the next "big" arc(Battle of Gods), then have some of the highlights as epilogues.
Please no.
>Or I can end this arc within a few weeks, and move into some of the other sidequests as their own arc.
That's better.
>>5165791
> By end the arc I mean ending it WITHOUT the timeskip, and finishing the side quests(or ignoring them) before we go into the timeskip.
This is good.
>>5165835
>You all managed to grab onto every sidequest opportunity presented, at least a little.
That is fantastic. I'm glad.
>>5165835
>So as of right now, you have:
>>The Mindslayers
I'm very interested in killing all those mutant fishes and bringing their corpses to Silver so he can large supply of those delicious fishes. Of course the adventure, exploring and the mysteries of the ocean matter very much too. I wonder what else is near the abyssal portal and how the bottom of the ocean has been corrupted by dark.
>>Remnants(Cyber Lin Kuei/Covenant alliance)
I absolutely don't want to miss this or relegate this to someone else. Through the Lin Kuei girl that wanted to steal it this is tied to the Amulet of Shinnok and the amulet is connected to Quan Chi and he is still alive somewhere.
>>The big Chaya vs Tanya fight(original Arc finale)
Sounds like fun arc. We will enjoy their fight from the audience. "Go Chaya Go GO"
>>The mysterious hacker
Epilogue/intermission revealed him, but I don't want to miss this one as well. This side quest is tied with Artcus and Zoldyc's so I also don't want to skip this in anyway. We see Arctus so rarely and he is a good character.
>>Possibly Kazuma and Namek too
It's a "must have" on my side quest list. No way we are gonna let Freeza have all this fun for himself. I'm sure something will happen (possibly a lot unexpected things). Dragon Balls are involved and I'm sure somehow we are not going to be the only ones wanting to find them. ( Babidi )
>I had planned on Cooler returning this arc as well since he has his shiny new Stand and all.
Looking forward to fight him again.

Also:
- The Main Man has not gave up on his finishing his job.
- In one possible future intermission/epilogue there was showed an invasion of dark army form underneath the surface of New Salda. Everyone was fighting but enemies were just flooding from the tunnels in seemingly endless numbers. Whatever is their source is it is here on New Salda dormant or locked. If somebody would open it we would have a problem.

Yes I know I want all the side quests, but I really like it. Time skip to the next "big" event is something I really want to avoid. Unless there is really absolutely nothing interesting to do.

Also this is probably too minor and little to be considered side quests, but:
>We still did not spar with Leyas and Sarada to see their new demonic forms.
>What is Freeza's Stand?
>>

Discord itself is fine, it's just that it has such a broad userbase that EVERYBODY has a server. Even the retards and perverts.
You have to be really selective in which ones you join and who you invite to the ones you're a part of to maintain a decent community.
That said, GD would still never be behind a discord because then the threads themselves would be bereft of discussion.
>>
>>5167992
But I avoid politics on that sice explicitly. For that reason, and others.

I remember the old Star vs Quest, it was great till the usual group of degenerates basically made it all about the Discord and ruined it with fagshit. I don't know if it finished, don't care too. But that wasn't the only quest to get subverted by Discords and Tumblr/Twitter/ Reddit fags either.

Goddamm I forgot that happened. What a wild ride that was. And yes a perfect example of a discord ruining a quest’s run, at least on this sight. It may have gone full discord exclusive at some point, I quit keeping up

>It may have gone full discord exclusive at some point, I quit keeping up
Probably, or they inevitably ripped each other apart and the stories dead. I'll never forgive the QM just going along with keeping ALL THE RELEVANT INFORMATION away from the thread unless someone screen grabs it. There was literally no fucking reason for that Discord to exist except for the degenerate Tumblr types being able to stear everything there so it goes down the drain.

Sounds exciting. I'm really looking forward to go there with Freeza (the detour too).

Heh? Why heh? Are you trying to say that Lobo is a joke? He is dangerous. In a 1 vs 1 situation in a closed space under a condition that Lobo and Karn enter the arena but only one of them leaves it alive (no running away) Lobo could win.
1 Karn vs Lobo army would not be a situation that looks good for our protagonist.
First time we fought him we had a huge team support and Karn had an immense luck that he unexpectedly transformed into Berserker 3.
It's not certain if Karn would be able to transform into Berserker 3 again when needed. Ascended Berserker does not look like it's enough to defeat Lobo army at the moment. I know Karn had Zenkais recently, but we don't know if Lobo did not became stronger too after this fight.

And he will be back. He thinks that Chilli is a bastard dolphin killer.

>Where do you think the Mindslayers are coming from?
From a different place than the yet to be seen dark invasion.

To deal with the Mindslayers we need to enter deep waters, go to the bottom of the ocean. Perhaps even deeper into the tunnels that are there. All of it submerged in water. This is a quest where there is no way to avoid ocean and down there will be no places to take a new breath of air.
To deal with it perhaps we will have to either:
- Learn Force Sustenance from Bane to survive underwater.
- Get some cool breathing device from the scientists.
- Ask Chilli to cast some under water breathing spell.

Dealing with Mindslayers will not automatically prevent and fix the potential invasion of the dark army from the subterranean world. This is tied to M’lurnian ruins. The ones that King Vegeta forbid people to enter with exception of specialists who explore and discover what is out there. They will one day they will discover something very dangerous there. They will open it/wake it up and the invasion will begin.
It's a different matter. Potential danger we don't know about in character.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 170 Intermission-

AGE 762, EARTH

“Wait, Ace? You’re...” you ask, completely shocked at seeing his face once again. It's been months since he suddenly disappeared, vanishing without a trace. But being here, and sensing his energy, there's no way you can deny it. He's been mind-controlled by the enemy. “You’re with-?”
“Get outta our way!” Chaya suddenly roars, flashing up into her Apex form and charges. However, three more Time Patrollers appear in a flash directly between you and the obscenely powerful woman. And as this brightness fades, you see even more familiar faces: the Three Idiots! And Doto’s caught Chaya in his almost-unbeatable counter! “Wha-?”

“Try something.” Doto says, ki exploding and blowing Chaya away from you all. She flips back, landing on all fours and sliding to a stop behind Ace with a snarl. You are Trunks, Time Patroller, Super Saiyan, and second-in-command of the Supreme Kai of Time herself, Chronoa. And seeing a disturbance in one of the scrolls, you'd entered only to then sense several others who's presence somehow hadn't triggered the alarm.

“Good timing.” you say, then talking to the Time Breakers while powering up into your divine Super Saiyan God form. “I’ll handle Fu, I’ll leave them to you.”
“You think you can stop me?” he asks, right hand slowly going towards his blade. You respond by immediately grabbing your own blade, drawing it a fraction out of the scabbard. Fu gives you a smirk, letting his demonic aura blaze to life around him as he takes on the Super Demon form. “Show me what you can do.”
“You won't escape this time!” you bellow, exploding off the ground towards him. Fu launches himself at you as well, the two of you drawing and swinging your swords at lightning speed while charging past each other.

CLANG

“Hmph, not bad.” you hear Fu say, sliding to a stop somewhere behind you when suddenly you feel it: he got you! Your entire chest suddenly starts feeling damp, your body immediately losing strength and dropping down to a knee.
“D-Dammit!”you say, looking down and seeing the slash across your chest. You'd thought that you had managed to block the worst of the hit, but it seems he was faster.
“Don't tell me that's it?” you hear Fu ask, blood running freely from the wound. You don't have long, maybe a minute before blood loss renders you unconscious. You have to hold out and keep him focused on you until backup arrives. “Really? And here I was hoping for more.”

“Hoping for more? Hoping for more?!” you think to yourself, feeling your own outrage growing. Like hell you're just going to lay down and die, you're not going down without bloodying him as well! Gritting your teeth against the pain, you rise back to your feet, turning to face the enigmatic demon.

N-No way!” you shout, clutching at the painful wound with your left hand while leveling your sword point-first at the demon with your right. “I'm never giving up!”
“That's the spirit!” Fu says enthusiastically, almost like a kid excited about a show he's watching on tv and not a fight he's actually in. “C'mon, dig deep and show me some of that Saiyan pride!”
“GRR! Stop underestimating me!!” you roar, drawing your sword back and channeling your ki through the blade. Time to put all that training with Tapion to use! “Brave Sword Slash!!”

You swing the enchanted blade, and with each swing your weapon fires an azure, razor-sharp energy blade towards the demon. Fu leaps immediately, but you don't stop, firing nearly a dozen slashes that he effortlessly dodges before you change tactics, kicking off the ground and charging him, sword held in both hands as you ready to cleave him in two.

“You won't get away!” you shout, divine aura blazing wildly as you close the distance to just a few yards, Fu finally turning around. But then, everything changes. No longer are you in the air, fighting against the demon. But you find yourself laying flat on a table, and for some reason both Karn's son Chilli and the Demon God Mechikabura himself are both here! Within arm's length! Panicking you sit bolt upright, looking around in complete confusion.“What the-? Where am I?!

“NOW!!” you hear the all-too-familiar voice of Karn roar out, you turning to see your big green nightmare charging at you like a wall of muscle and rage. And for a second, consider just letting him kill you and get it over with quickly. But then you remember what just happened, and feel like, no matter how you got here, this could be valuable information. So you HAVE to survive! At least long enough to get more information on what's happening.
“Tch! Haaaaa!” you shout, the divine, flame-like aura of Super Saiyan God blazing up around you as he closes in. You're going to make a fight of-!

KABOOM

Out of nowhere a tremendous impact slams into the back of your head that sends you flying. Tumbling through the air, you see a dark portal suddenly open up directly in the path you're flying, which can't be good. You aren't sure where it leads, but you highly doubt you'd rather be there, considering who's trying to banish you. Every second you stay in this realm is more information you can bring back to base. You need to hold out as long as you can. So, with that in mind you focus, and with a roar let your energy explode out of you. This stops your advance towards the dark hole, leaving you staring down a furious Karn instead. Which, for a moment, makes you reconsider simply going into the portal by choice and getting the hell out. Whatever's through there couldn't be any worse than dying to Karn again, right?

“GET THE HELL OUT!” Karn roars, emerald aura blazing as he charges directly at you. With practiced panic you draw your blade, raising it overhead in both hands, but Karn surprises you by copying you with a ki sword he creates in both hands. You watch as he gets closer and closer, preparing for the moment when you'll swing. But right as you're about to, he switches tactics. The straightforward brawler ends his blade, flipping backwards instead of forwards to swing, and before you can process what's happening feel a tremendous impact to your crotch.

“Aaahh?” you hear a pained, high-pitched sound, realizing it's coming from your own body as you drop the sword. It clatters to the ground as Karn's massive hand grabs your head, and you just close your eyes. The pain will all be over in a moment, you'll find yourself in Otherworld, then you'll be brought back to life in the Time Nest. You take a moment to reflect on how adjusted you've become to dying, when suddenly something unexpected happens. Instead of a flash of pain, darkness, then Otherworld, you feel yourself thrown violently backwards! Your eyes open in confusion, then feel yourself falling into the portal you'd seen earlier. Then reality itself crumbles. Sights no longer smell correctly, every sound tastes wrong, everything is completely distorted. But then it's over, you falling out of the dark portal and landing ass-first on the snowy ground. As you're trying to figure out what happened, suddenly your sword emerges point-first at your face. “SHIT!”

Flinching aside, you narrowly dodge your sword's point as it sticks into a tree that'd been behind you with a dull thunk. You blink several times, looking over yourself in confusion. What the hell just happened, and more importantly: how are you still alive?

“Yooooo! Guys I found him!” you hear a familiar voice call, turning and looking over your right shoulder to see one of the Three Idiots running towards you. “I found Trunks, let's gooooo!”
“D-Doto?” you ask, completely disoriented. “Wh-What happened?”
“They got away, and stole a tree too.” he says as you shake it off and stand up, drawing your sword out of the tree. You sheathe it, turning back to the orange-headed Patroller as he walks up to you. “Hey, what happened to you? We've been looking for you for like ten minutes. Ayy! Deion, Rhyme, over here! I found him dude, I found him!”

The other two Idiots descend, landing beside you and Doto with the Time Scroll. You reach out, the four of you touching the magical artifact to return you all back to the Time Nest. Where hopefully the Supreme Kai of Time knows more of what happened. Yet as the blinding light fades, and you see your boss's expression, you realize that this isn't going to be a quick debrief.

“Good job you three, thanks for the help.” she says rather curtly, her gaze not leaving you. “You all may go.”
“Hey hold on. I was promised a sticker. Where's my good job sticker?” Rhyme asks, you looking at him as if he's gone mental. But one look at his goofy face tells you he's just joking around. But Chronoa isn't having it, turning a furious glare on him. He gets the message and shuts up, the three heading up the stairs out of the Time Nest. As they go, you hear you think Doto go “Oooh, you got in trouble,” but you weren't sure it was him. Leaving you alone with the Supreme Kai of Time herself.

“Trunks, what happened?” she asks, not beating around the bush. “What was that device Fu implanted in your chest?”
“Device?” you ask her, confused. You then look down at your chest, wincing as you see where Fu'd slashed you and seeing that you're still bleeding. But there isn't any sort of device, not one that you can see. “What device? Fu slashed me, and then I woke up in a lab.”
“What? Trunks, how could you not remember the fight? It just happened.” she exclaims, rolling the scroll open and showing you the fight. You watch, shocked, as Fu somehow tricks you with a simple afterimage and stabs you in the chest with some sort of spike.

“What the hell? I don't remember anything after he slashed me.” you say, turning to the Supreme Kai of time with a doubtlessly worried look on your face. But then you remember what you'd seen immediately upon waking. “Mechikabura was there! He and Karn's son, the one with the magic. Chilli. They were both there, before Karn threw me through some sort of portal.”
“He.....No, that couldn't have happened.” she mutters to herself, immediately worried for some reason. “Demon's can't use that type of Chaos, not even a demon god. Unless....Trunks! Was that kid closer to you? Or was Mechikabura?”
“The kid. Mechikabura had his hands on his shoulders.” you reply, remembering it vividly. But this seems to not be the answer Chronoa wanted to hear, her face paling. “What? Chronoa, what's wrong?”

“Trunks, I need you to trust me.” she says, closing her eyes. You feel her divine power immediately swelling, her form glowing with godly light as she takes on her Time Power Unleashed form. The clock-like halo appears around her back, the much more adult-looking Kai now standing at your level.”I have to see what happened for myself.”
“Of course.” you say, taking a deep breath and sighing out. You're not sure what she's doing, but you have no doubt she wouldn't directly harm you. Then as she raises her hand and utters a word at you, the world freezes; everything coming to a complete stop.

As you're frozen, unable to so much as blink, she approaches, gently laying a hand on either side of your head.

“Alright, let's find out what happened.” she says, and your vision begins changing. You see everything you saw, except in reverse. You watch through your own eyes as you teleport back to Earth with the Three Idiots, stick your sword in the tree then sit down, looking around the forest in confusion. If you hadn't seen her use this technique before, you would be completely surprised. However, she'd used it to “interrogate” Turles after you and Ban had managed to capture him a few days ago. And the experience from the outside is entirely different, those next to the Supreme Kai of Time would be able to “see” what's happening, her magic recreating an area a dozen square yards that she can observe of what happened around the person. But being inside is an entirely different experience, again seeing everything through your own eyes. Your sword is sucked back into the portal, then as you yourself are being pulled in Chronoa stops her spell, addressing you directly. “You ready to go back in?”

“Let's do this.” you answer, bracing yourself for what's about to happen. She doesn't answer, you almost able to see her curt nod in your mind's eye as your sword is sucked in first. You feel yourself being pulled back into the portal a moment later, flying right back face-first into Karn's hand. But only for a moment, then he kicks you back in the groin before flying back away from you. Your weapon flies up into your hands, then you fly back towards where whoever kicked you. You feel yourself sit back on the table, staring down Karn, when suddenly Chronoa stops it again.
“Dammit. I knew it.” she says, sounding incredibly upset as you look at the . “You may not have seen who kicked you, but it was Ace. He's here, with Karn, Mechikabura, and Chaya. It seems Mechikabura did successfully mind control Ace, as I feared.”

“He's really a traitor.” you think to yourself, as you find yourself laying back down after another moment when Chronoa resumed the spell. You lay down, Chilli with his hands out towards you and Mechikabura's hands on his shoulders, then suddenly everything changes. One second you're laying back-down on the table, and the next find yourself back in the air. Just as you remembered, you're in the air approaching Fu, Chronoa stopping everything once again.
“He did.” she mutters darkly, ending the spell and returning you to standing in front of her inside the Time Nest. “Chilli pulled the light from your body with his Chaos magic and undid time itself on you.”

“Wait, he undid my time?” you ask, suddenly worried. “Hold on. Does that mean I'm now a Fateless too, like that monster Karn?”
“N...No. Not quite.” she says with a bit of hesitation. You tilt your head in confusion, her expression confusing you as her face is a mix of concern, . “I hadn't planned on telling you, but...Well, your timeline, it....Doesn't exist anymore.”
“Wait WHAT?” you ask, completely shocked. “What do you mean? If my timeline's gone, that mean's I'm about to vanish too!”
“Calm down Trunks, you're going to be fine.” She says, clearly trying to reassure you yet her calm demeanor doesn't reassure you at all. A Towa tried to erase you before, causing your body to begin disappearing as she'd altered your history by preventing the wish causing Ace to be brought into reality in the first place. But why is she so calm about this? “You've been protected from your reality disappearing for a long time now. Remember when I first made you an apprentice, and bestowed upon you a small sliver of the power of Time?”

“Yeah, of course. But what does that have to do with....Wait.” you say, as understanding begins to dawn in your mind. And your eyes narrow as you look to the Kai. “How long has my timeline been erased?”
“Since about two days after I made you my apprentice.” she says, your jaw dropping.
“What the hell?!” you shout, your memories of your mother, your time spent with Gohan, defeating those terrible androids and restoring peace to your timeline. Was it all for nothing? “Why?! What happened to my timeline? Wait, don't tell me-?”

A terrible thought entered your mind, one not spoken in your own voice but that monstrous Saiyan Karn's. No way, she wouldn't have done that. Would she?

“There are so many things I haven't told you, Trunks. I thought I would have more time.” she says with a sigh, then a little chuckle. “Ironic, huh? Even with all my control, Time still moves ever-forward. But there is something you need to know.”

Raising her arms, she forms a sphere around the two of you, similarly to her Time Prison technique. But instead of freezing what's inside, no doubt she stopped everything outside this bubble. Which is worrying, as this means whatever she's about to say is top secret.

“This isn't the first multiverse Mechikabura and I have done battle in. We all battled against this demonic threat before, but despite our best efforts we failed.” she says, looking down at her hands for the next sentence before looking up and meeting your eyes. “ I failed, and everything would have been lost. So I did the only thing I could do, and undid everything. I reset the entire multiverse, all so we could get a second chance to defeat that monster. We cannot fail again, no matter the costs.”

God damn it BOI, just fucking talk to karn one day instead of just being a stupid asshole, holy hell it's not that hard.
>>
Actually thinking about it, it's genuinely kind of weird that there's no timeline of trunks actually flipping sides. I'd like to think there's at least one timeline where he isn't completely and utterly fucking retarded.
>>
>>5169743
>But muh genocide
>But muh Freeza
>But my Earth backwater ideals

>>5169743
You almost had him, years ago. So she had Trunks witness Karn doing old-school Saiyan shit in different points of his PTO career. As in mercilessly genociding worlds for Freeza, like his father which Trunks believes was totally bad and evil and stuff.
>>5169747
>I'd like to think there's at least one timeline where he isn't completely and utterly fucking retarded.
Now why do you think she would EVER let him witness something like that?

>accept risk and continue
I wish google would let me do that
>>
>>5169768
>like his father which Trunks believes was totally bad and evil and stuff
It is, and Karn doesn't shy away from accepting that. What's missing is important pieces of context.
>It was Karn's job, not something he did for fun
>Eventually, Karn created the conditions that allowed his entire race to STOP wiping out planets
>Karn's truegoals are the safety of his children and the perpetuation of his species JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE GODDAMN UNIVERSE
Trunks might actually be made aware of that if he ever talked to his fucking father, but like that's ever gonna happen.
So many of these details get glossed over whenever Chronoa puts on Karn's highlight reel, it makes me keenly aware of how calculated her actions are.
>>
>>5169768
>like his father which Trunks believes was totally bad and evil and stuff.
On the one hand, yes true, on the other Vegeta despite all of his failings as a man was at least present as a father. In spite of his humongous pride and words otherwise he still loved Trunks. Sure it was like, 1920s style I'll beat your ass love but love nonetheless.

But being a bad guy doesn't make you a bad person. And more often than not being a good guy makes you a bad guy for a whole lot of people anyway. Brainlets just never consider that.
>>
Is it bad I'm pretty convinced karn is so disgusted with trunks at this point that he might not even kill the guy, just flat out ignore his ass unless he charges in like the retard he is? Like seriously, I want the Boi to understand exactly how bad he has continuously fucked up.
>>
>>5169990
>Trunks comes blazing in ready to fight
>Karn holds his hand up "Look boy I don't really have time for you right now - or ever - so if you could just go somewhere else and get killed that would be great. I think there's a puddle over there in that blast crater. Just go put your face in it or something alright?"
Oof.

And here we are, 24 hours until this episode continues. Now, we WON’T be running through Sunday, as it’s my little bro’s birthday and will doubtlessly be shooting something a good portion of the day. But the episode will be concluded tomorrow, hopefully with the mystery solved and the rest of your time decided

Right? And for all that calculation, she seems to be at a worse point now than presumably in the original events.

Remember this is a FUTURE Trunks, who pre-time travel had only heard Bulma’s descriptions of him. First DBZ timeline he was dead not long after Trunks’ birth, along with the Z fighters save for Gohan.

Sounds like a spring/firing pin issue. Is it striking fully? My old .38 revolver’s pin was wearing out, would only shoot 2/5 shots. Would impact all 5 near-identically, at first I thought it was the reloads themselves. But testing with other ammo still had the same misfire rate.
>>
>>5170663
>Remember this is a FUTURE Trunks
Yeah Vegeta still lost his shit when Trunks died. Even with him being not technically his son. At least if I'm not going full potato and misremembering. Not that Trunks would have seen that, because he never actually investigates anything important regarding his heritage. He has a real problem with just blindly accepting information from people around him and taking it as gospel, doesn't he?

>Puddles, the bane of halfling Saiyans
The problem with not going into healing pods is you never learn how to hold your breath in case of drain failure. This is a weakness that must be addressed. Swim lessons are mandatory.

>Youmay have missed a crucial point about them, that I believed was discussed in-character before. Mindslayers are Abyssal beings
I remember this. It was discussed. That's why idea of getting dead Mindslayers to the scientists to make mind slaying Saibamen was not encouraged, because those mind slaying Saibamen would tainted by the Dark.
>as this planet has it’s Darker influences deep below the surface
I imagined at least two (or more ) sources below the planet surface. Like for example shutting down the (possibly existing) portal to Abyss at the depths of the ocean would only fix the aquatic related problem.
In the M’lurnian ruins there is another one, so those are 2 separate threats to deal with.
But that is just me trying to guess and predict what awaits us.
>>5169530
Very good intermission.
>>5169768
>So she had Trunks witness Karn doing old-school Saiyan shit in different points of his PTO career. As in mercilessly genociding worlds for Freeza, like his father which Trunks believes was totally bad and evil and stuff.

Yes. Especially those seen as a higher order of being who gave him a second chance at life.
Ha.

I’d definitely recommend, even moreso if you get to shoot someone else’s ammo.
>>5170779
Glad that was remembered.

Glad you enjoyed, despite the delay.
Yeah, Trunks calls you monster. But it’s also a term of terrified respect for his power
>>

Good thinking, I'll have to test. I was assuming ammo since I tried two kinds and one didn't have any problems.

>“This isn't the first multiverse Mechikabura and I have done battle in. We all battled against this demonic threat before, but despite our best efforts we failed.”she says, looking down at her hands for the next sentence before looking up and meeting your eyes. “ I failed, and everything would have been lost. So I did the only thing I could do, and undid everything. I reset the entire multiverse, all so we could get a second chance to defeat that monster. We cannot fail again, no matter the costs.”

I guarantee this is all she tells him and he is literally too stupid to remember the fact that she blew up his timeline. God I hate how damn stupid trunks is, I hope at some point someone like goku or vegeta asks him how his timeline is and he finally remembers it doesn't fucking exist anymore. Stupid ass mutt God damn.
>>
>>5171451
To add to this she also just admitting to killing literally everyone ever in any timeline because she was losing, dumb ass trunks will probably still think he is a good guy after this. Fuck every time I think about this it makes me more mad.

>>5171451
She’ll give him a bit more, answering enough questions to show how bad the ‘bad guys’ are and that they have to stop them.

So, before the session, I have a question.
We know that the Saiyan scientists do have some experience with genetic modification, but how good are they?
Would they be able to take genetic traits from one organism and insert them into another currently living organism?
>>
SOON

>>5171562
>and insert them into another currently living organism?
Define living. But probably not
>>
>>5171572
>Define living
A fully developed and currently functioning intelligent organism bound to this mortal realm.
To make a distinction; Karn is alive. The Arbiter is not.
I only ask because I wanted to know the feasibility of modifying the genetics of non-Saiyan PTO soldiers by implanting them with the Saiyan gene for gravity adaptation.

Dang. Would Frieza be interested in creating a chimera super soldier though?
I can understand if the thought of a creature with all the best genetic traits from the strongest warrior races would make him iffy about the whole thing.
That kind of paranoia is justified, as many timelines can demonstrate.
>>
>>5171614
Why would he? He already has the greatest warrior race on his side

Fair enough. It would have to be a particularly unhinged scientist that looks at the Saiyans and goes, "Is that the best we can do?".
Certainly wouldn't be Frieza.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After Mechikabura's visit and subsequent kicking of the Time Patroller Trunks, Karn then spent a few hours alone with Towa and Meloka before exploring Towa's Lab. Searching around he traveled deeper and deeper into the depths of the complex, coming to a doorway sealed by a giant block. Tapping into his darker emotions at the direction of the ancient Sith spirit dwelling in his head, Karn tore the block free with telekinesis then ventured inside. Only to discover the room was swathed in Dark, the Abyssal essence spilling out of the portal into the room itself. Karn then summoned Chilli just in time to be attacked by some sort of monstrous worm, then breaking free summons his entire family down as well minus the youngest four, just in time to battle the invading forces of Dark. But as we rejoin Karn, the Darkness having retreated, you hear a deep, monstrous voice booming out and joining in your family's laughter.

“What the hell?!” you say, springing back to your feet and immediately retaking your Ascended Berserker form. Everyone around the room, who all had just relaxed also return to their most powerful forms, looking around wildly as the room seemingly shakes. “Towa, what's this?”
“I have no idea.” she says, the laugh suddenly stopping as she speaks. The sudden silence is deafening, you all looking around at each other in confusion. Where the hell is that coming from?
“HAAA!” you shout, blazing your emerald aura up and illuminating the room to look around, scanning the walls for, well you aren't exactly sure what. But in the wall you'd slammed that Darkwraith into, dragging and throwing it's head through the wall, you see something surprising in the damage.

In most of the wall, there is merely a head-sized deep trench dug through it by the force of your attack, with cracks spider-webbing out. But by the end, your blazing aura reveals what seems to be a hole in the wall. There's something beyond the room you all are in, behind and to the right of the crystal-covered altar. Whoever, or whatever was making that sound, is doubtlessly through there.

But what do you do?
>Rush in and smash the wall down to confront whoever, or whatever, is back there
>Sneak over to the wall, and try peering in the hole to see what's inside
>Ask the voice where it is, and how come it only just started talking now
>Look to Towa, since this is still her place, and follow her lead
>Don't hesitate and unleash a full power Final Flash directly at the hole in that wall

“THERE!” you roar, immediately charging directly at the hole in the wall. You smash into it shoulder-first, the rock shattering from the force of your charge as you make a Karn-sized hole in the wall. Shards of the rock wall spray into the space beyond, you hear the creature grunt as the shards of the exploding wall doubtlessly hit it as well. Your blazing aura illuminates the space beyond, revealing a sight you can't comprehend at first. It looks like a tree of some sort, but it suddenly moves as you spray it with rocks from the wall. The being spins, suddenly swinging something directly at you! “SHIT!”

Raising your arms just in time, you block the giant boulder the tree-like being swings directly at your head. The heavy blow sends you sliding backwards, feet sliding across the stone ground as it sends you right back out the hole and into the room you'd left. Your family all shout in surprise, you planting your feet and charging right back into the space you'd been ejected from.

“HRRAAAA!!” you roar, dashing right back in headfirst. Blazing back into the smaller space beyond, you get a better look at the creature. Its skin looks almost like greyish tree bark, carrying a club-like slab of rock in each hand, but more disturbingly it doesn't have a face! The creature's head simply has a hole where it's face should be. The creature again swings one of its rocky clubs, but this time you're ready for it. As the creature swings you plant your feet and swing your fist. Flesh meets stone, yet to your surprise your punch doesn't shatter the strange being's weapon. A powerful shock wave blasts out from the point of impact, leaving you face to face with the faceless being.

HUUUUUH?” the beastly creature exhales, drawing its left-handed club back and rearing to swing it as well. The beast swings it overhead, directly down at your head. Instead of trying to block it you leap back away, narrowly avoiding the surprisingly durable weapon's swing. It smashes down into the ground where you'd been standing, you immediately leaping back into action. You jump forward, stomping down onto the club with your left foot and kicking off it. You launch yourself at the creature's head and unleash a powerful turning right kick to its faceless head. “GUUUUUUUH!

Your kick sends it flying, launching the larger being into the wall behind it which breaks with an audible crack. You land back on your feet, ready to attack.

What do you do?
>Rush in and attack the strange, powerful being
>Super Ki Blade and attack, cut it down
>Energy Body and defend, ask Towa what she wants to do with this thing while you block its attacks
>Final Flash before it can recover, try erasing it in one overwhelmingly powerful shot

"C'mon, hit me with your best shot!" you shout, planting your feet and crossing your arms. Your blazing aura begins drawing in around you, condensing tight to your body. As it draws in towards you, it begins glowing brighter and brighter emerald in this darker space as the creature pulls itself out of the wall with a grunt. "Towa! Do you have any idea what this thing is?"
“Karn, what are you-What is that?!” she says as her ki approaches, then stops several feet behind you.
GUUUUUUH!” the beast bellows, thrusting at you with it's right-handed weapon. His attack slams square into your guard, and in that moment you realize that you'd underestimated it's power. The blow actually sends you flying backwards, crashing into someone as the two of you are sent back into the main room.

“Dammit!” you snarl, landing atop Towa and rolling immediately back up to your feet as she wheezes, caught by surprise. The instant your feet are underneath you, once more you charge forward and leap over Towa. You plant your feet, again crossing your arms but this time decide to go even bigger. You pour more and more energy into your Energy Body, it blazing as you condense that ki even further. Your ki continues hardening, condensing and brightening until it becomes fully unbreakable. Then through clenched teeth, because you can no longer move, seethe at the creature. “Is that it?!”

OOOOOOOOOOHHH.” the creature calls, shoving it's weapon through the hole that's still too small for it, then ducking it's way into the room. You hear everyone behind you let out astonished noises as they see the creature for the first time, it looking around the room confused a moment by so many people. But then it's gaze settles on you, and it raises both weapons overhead.
“GET CLEAR!!” you shout through clenched teeth, and with a roar it slams both heavy weapons down onto you. But your Unmovable Energy Body doesn't yield, the heavy hammers glancing off your ki armored form and smash to the ground on either side of you with ground-breaking force. And despite not having a face, the creature's body language clearly expresses confusion at not flattening you.
OOHHHH?” it asks, leaning down towards you as if looking you over. “HMMMMM?

“That's a giant!” Caulifla calls out excitedly, rushing up to the creature. “I saw these guys before, they're super strong! Hey big guy, can you hear me?”
“That's impossible. The giants went extinct a long, long time ago.” Towa says, but to your ear she sounds uncertain. “Besides, they were living beings. We should all be able to sense one if it were standing here before us.”
“Nu-uh. They can go all zombie-like too, like people.” Caulifla says as you hear someone behind you gasp in surprise.

But as Caulifla's attention is turned off the giant, it draws it's giant weapons back in preparation to swing again. Seeing this, and still being immobilized, you do the only thing you can do and grab her with your telekinetic grip. Then as it starts to swing, you grab her and throw her back away from you and the monster.

“Whaa-?!” she shouts in surprise, the giant's club slamming down onto you as it narrowly misses her. Once again the heavy club is deflected off your armor, smashing back down into the same spot as before. This time the ground doesn't only crack but completely shatters, the floor breaking beneath the both of you and sending you both plummeting straight down into darkness. “DAAAAAD!!”

“Don't worry, I'm fine!” you send out to your family above telepathically. “Don't head down here, just in case. I'm going to try something.”

Ending the mental link, you focus exclusively on your ki sense and focus on Future Chaya's ki radiating from above. You link to that tremendous well of energy, and with a few seconds preparation unleash your Instant Transmission. But nothing happens. You did everything right, all except for placing your right hand to your forehead, but that shouldn't stop Instant Transmission from working, right?

Unless there's more to it than the simple gesture? Suddenly you wonder if there's more to the act of putting your finger to your forehead for that technique? So you focus on the flow of ki in your body, and decide to try something. You feel how your ki is traveling throughout your hand, and focus it to flow back up from your fingertips up to your forehead. It takes a moment for your energy to travel inside you, with so much of your ki being fed into your Unmovable Energy Body, but as the link is made you focus on Future Chaya's ki once more. You can feel her ki, and the flow of energy in your body as you continue falling, and in a single instant you feel everything crystallize in a moment of clarity. It's now or never!

And in a single moment of absolute focus, everything changes. One moment you're still falling, and in the back of your mind wonder just how deep this hole is, then the next you're bathed in blindingly bright light. You blink rapidly a few times, trying to adjust your eyes to the light as several people are all trying to talk at once. You focus on your own ki, ending the Unmovable Energy Body as Towa walks over to the hole.

“I think some repairs are in order.” she says, gesturing to the broken wall with Godsend. Several more large chunks break free, Towa sweeping the spear towards the hole and sending them all over to it. And once the rocks are all down in the hole, forming a near-perfect patch, she calls for Caulifla. “Caulifla, could you be a dear and heat this up for me?”
“Of course! Go Triumph!” she calls excitedly, her golden Stand materializing with a piercing caw before unleashing a torrent of flames at the rocks held aloft by Towa's magic. She keeps up the firestorm for a few seconds, the rocks all starting to glow cherry red before Towa gestures for her to end the attack. Caulifla does, and as Towa lowers her weapon you see that the rocks are in fact holding their shape.

“Excellent. Now, I think we should leave this place for exploration another time.” Towa says, looking between yourself, Meloka, Future Chaya, and Ace. Meloka clearly doesn't want to be here any longer, leering at the darkness beyond while Ace and Future Chaya seem unconcerned either way. But what about you?

Well?
>Save exploring this area for another time, you still have family time to catch up on today

“Go on ahead, I'm going to explore this a bit further.” you reply to her, turning to your kids. “Chilli, Milha, Caulifla. Would you three stay with me, and help me look around?”
“Of course!” Caulifla shouts excitedly, rushing over without hesitation. Chilli and Milha exchange a look, then nodding to each other both turn to you.
“Sure.” Chilli answers, not showing much of a reaction.
“Of course.” Milha says with a smile. “Are you going to shut the door?”
“I will, once everyone else is out.” you say to her, then turn back to the rest of your family. “We'll finish up in here, then I'll use Instant Transmission to bring us all out.”

“Very well.” Towa says, turning and slowly walking from the room. “Once we're all out, please seal the room back up before venturing any further.”
“You sure about this hun?” Meloka asks, you giving her a nod. “Alright, I'll be with the youngest.”
“I'll not be long.” you tell her, Meloka and the others all quickly filing out as well. Once everyone else has left the room, Milha walking over and grabbing the abandoned Darkwraith sword off the ground and looking it over curiously, you headed over to the doorway to get a clear line of sight on the heavy, darker cubic block of stone. You bring your hands up, cracking your knuckles as you shut your eyes, once more dredging up those painful memories. You feel your rage blazing up inside you like a firestorm, and with a snarl thrust your right hand out at the block, grabbing it with your telekinesis. “MOVE!!”

With a violent jerking motion, the extremely heavy block of dark stone leaps up out of the broken ground, soaring directly at you standing in the doorway. It flies directly at you, your kids all shouting in surprise as it flies right at you. But it slams into place, crashing against the smaller end of the doorway and wedging itself in place mere inches from your face.

“Phew.” you sigh out, letting that surge of rage dissipate just as swiftly as you'd built it up before turning back to your kids. “Alright, who's ready to see what's in there?”
“MEE!” Milha and Caulifla both shout excitedly, Chilli looking a little more apprehensive. But that doesn't stop him, you stride past the three of them towards the hole you'd smashed in the wall.
“I don't sense anything else beyond, but let's be careful.” you tell them, raising your left hand and creating a ball of ki in your open palm. It radiates with emerald light; you hold it aloft as you step into the makeshift doorway. “Stick close, okay?”

“Here, this may work better.” Chilli says, thrusting his staff down tip-first into the stone ground. “Crystal Magic: Luminous Crystals!”

And from the end of his staff, a small cluster of magical crystals suddenly begin sprouting. They rapidly grow over the next several seconds, quickly forming a half-dozen foot long crystals that radiate light. Chilli ends his spell, then cuts the crystals with his staff's magical blade. He tosses one each to Milha and Caulifla, then pitches the longest crystal to you. Ending your blast, you catch it in your left hand, and stick the crystal into the dark cave. It illuminates the darkness even better than your orb, you glancing back to your son and give him a thumbs up with your free hand.

“Excellent work Chilli. Let's see what's in here.” you say, turning back to the cave and stepping inside. At first all you can see is more of the same identical stone, but after walking deeper in a few feet come to a surprising sight: that giant wasn't alone. There is another one, but it looks different. It's body isn't ambulatory, instead it seems to have grown roots of some sort that are buried into the rocky ground. The hell?
“I've seen those before!” Caulifla says, walking right up to it without a care in the world. “This is a giant's tree! When a giant dies for good, it starts turning into a tree!”
“Giants turn into trees?” you ask her, wondering for a second how she could possibly know such a thing. But one glance to the shining pendant on her neck reminds you what it can do, and how she could have seen such a thing before.

“Hold on, I think I can get something...” she says, looking over the giant's living tombstone. She scurries around it a moment, looking around then stops with an 'AHA!' She then reaches up, plucking something from it and turns to present you all with what she found. “Look! I got one!”
“What is it?” Milha asks her, sounding just as confused as you are. “A fruit?”
“It's a seed!” Caulifla says excitedly. “These Giant Tree seeds are powerful, and hitting jerk invaders like those we fought earlier with one of these allows everyone to see and attack them!”
“That seems...Exceptionally powerful.” Chilli says, setting his staff down and rubbing his chin contemplatively. “But I can't sense any sort of magic coming from it, is it really magical?”
“Oh yeah, the Giants' magic is completely different than other beings.” Caulifla says without hesitation. “But it works really really well, Alva and Zullie showed me before.”
“Hey, look at this!” Milha calls, you all turning towards her voice. You see she'd gone deeper into the cave and is standing over something unexpected.

You walk over towards her, seeing what appears to be an armored knight's corpse. The corpse is clad in an extremely heavy-seeming suit of black armor, a towering but mangled once-round shield bound to it's left arm while it's right the knight is clutching the handle of a rather impressive-seeming club. It appears almost pillar-like at the head, . This knight clearly met their end in battle against the giants here. You look up, holding the crystal above your head, and realize that you can't actually see the ceiling of this room. You wonder if, much like yourself, the monstrous giant had sent them all down this deep into the ground during their battle by shattering the floor they stood on?

“There's another one!” Milha calls excitedly, you turning to see her standing above another body. But this one is different, wearing white robes and clutching a white bundle of cloth in it's right hand. Walking over, you see what appears to be a pure silver ring on her hand, Chilli crouching down and examining it. Looks like the battle was the knight, trying valiantly to protect the presumable woman from the giants before meeting his end.
“Hrmmm.” Chilli says, gingerly reaching out and touching the white-robed corpse's hand. “It's faint, but there is a hint of magic still in this ring. I'm not sure what it does, but I can feel something. Perhaps...”

He then rises, and walks over to the knight's corpse. He reaches down, touching that knight's right hand, and his eyes widen in surprise.

“There's another one. They both are wearing magical rings.” he says, then turns to you curiously. Glancing to your own left hand, before meeting your gaze. “Should we take these? Or leave them with these two?”

Well?
>They don't need them anymore, take anything you or your siblings could want from them

"They don't need this equipment, if anything can help you or your other siblings, go ahead and take them." you say, again turning your gaze upwards. You aren't sure why, but you can't get over the feeling of being watched. So, as they scavenge from the corpses, you raise your right hand straight up and quickly gather a small orb of energy into your hand. Focusing on that, you draw your arm back and pitch it straight up. The orb radiates light as it flies higher and higher, quickly becoming a smaller and smaller dot of light. And then, when it's barely more than a single pinpoint of light, your orb reaches the ceiling. Judging the distance form your ki orb to you, it's easily over a hundred feet overhead.

Realizing the sheer distance separating you from the ceiling, and having no actual idea what's between you and it, you feel your discomfort growing instead of shrinking. There's a LOT of space in this room, and you can't shake the feeling that you're being watched. Now that you've found the ceiling, you channel even more ki into the orb, swiftly doubling the size of your ki ball. It glows brighter, you sending it towards your left and watch it fly over the uneven rocky ceiling. Yet despite your orb shining even more light, you don't actually see anything up there.

“You guys get everything you wanted?” you ask them, not looking away from your orb of light as you continue swinging it across the ceiling searching for whatever you can just feel is looking at you.
“I think so.” Chilli says, you glancing over your shoulder to see they've grabbed quite a bit. Milha actually took the woman's robes, catching you a bit by surprise, but they all seem to be a bit on-edge as well. Caulifla is holding the giant mace, while Chilli no doubt is holding onto the magical rings. You see them all glancing side to side, no doubt feeling what you are too. So you end your orb, extinquishing that energy and holding your hand out to them.
“Alright, let's get on out of here.” you say, offering your left hand. They all grab on, and for a moment consider trying again to use your Instant Transmission to teleport away. But the creeping dread hovering just behind your neck. You realize that you won't be able to focus anywhere nearly well enough now, and instead immediately bring your right hand to your forehead as you focus on Meloka's ki. Then after a moment's effort you teleport, bringing yourself, Milha, Chilli, and Caulifla to Towa's side. “We found something, well, interesting.”

“What did you-? Milha! Where did you get that?” Towa asks, almost recoiling from the dingy robes her daughter is holding. “And what is that smell?”
“We found bodies!” your and Towa's daughter says excitedly.

“There seemed to be a battle. A knight and a woman were fighting against two of those giants.” Chilli tells her, you looking to see his brows furrowed. Something about all this is bothering him. “And Dad checked that room, it's a lot taller than we thought.”
“I've been looking over her schematics, going over the area originally warded by her spells.” Towa says, turning back to the screen before her. She then gestures to the display, which you can barely make sense of. “This is a 3-D rendition of the layout, as well as the GPR scans of the area. Look here.”

She points to something, and you can't make heads or tails of it. But she continues, you feeling your brows furrowing in confusion.

“There isn't any sort of chamber here. Even the room that was swathed in dark doesn't appear to her scans.” she says, looking as worried as you are confused. “As far as her scans go, that whole area doesn't exist.”
“Well, true Dark is a very physical element.” Chilli says, studying the screen as if he can make heads or tails of the display. “As thick as it was in there, I have no doubt it could have distorted the scans.”
“I see.” she says, raising a hand to her chin. “Well, I shall run the scans again with her technology, and see what the difference is.”
“Before you do.” you speak up, Towa turning to you. “Better seal that entrance up a little more. I couldn't place it, but it felt that something was watching us the entire time. I don't think that whatever was giving me that feeling is capable of opening it, but....”
“Better safe than sorry, I agree.” she replies, tuen turns back towards that display and looking at it again. “If that space is as big as you claim....Hmmmm.”

“I'm gonna go wash this!” Milha declares, running off with her prize.
“I'll head off to the library, and see if I can identify these things.” Chilli says, opening his free hand you see he has a pair of rings resting in his palm. One is the smooth silver one, and the other has some sort of design carved into the upraised lump. “They have traces of some sort of power, but I'm not sure quite what. Perhaps I can find them in some of the ancient tomes.”
“What about you?” Caulifla asks, looking up at you. “What're you gonna do?”

Which is a good question. Well?

There was a snippet in that epilogue about Chaya's day to day activities as well as her thoughts and feelings.
Caulifla is a healer at heart, but she's far too young for all the work she volunteers to do.
She's running on fumes and is very rapidly heading for a breakdown, but she's desperate not to show it.
We need to give her a chance to drop her guard and vent at the very least before that happens.
Besides, I bet Karn would understand the weight on her shoulders better than anybody else.

“Well, I haven't spent any time with Koruza today.” you say, focusing on your ki sense and tuning to Koruza's unique signature. “So I think I'm going to see how he's doing. What about you?”
“I'm gonna keep working on that Clothes Beam!” she says enthusiastically. “I think it's gonna be a really useful skill to have.”
“You'll have it mastered in another day or two, I know it.” you tell her, ruffling her hair. “But don't forget to take a break now and then too. We're not in any hurry.”
“I will.” she replies, then flies up and gives your neck a hug before running off as well. You turn back to Towa, only to see her fingers flying over the keyboard as she studies the screen before her and decide to leave her be. Raising your right hand back to your forehead, you focus on Koruza's ki, and use Instant Transmission to teleport right to his side.

“Hey kiddo. How's it going?” you ask, appearing beside him. And to your surprise he isn't alone, Dark Rider sitting in the chair across from him.
“Ah, Karn. There you are.” your half-demon son's Stand says, it's voice surprisingly proper. “We were just speaking of you.”
“Oh really?” you ask, looking between them curiously. “Well, I hope it was complimentary.”
“It was.” Koruza says, you turning and looking at your son as he speaks up. “Earlier, when that monster was hiding in the walls. You just went after it directly, and didn't hesitate. You had to know it was dangerous, didn't you?”
“Well I didn't know, but had a good idea it wasn't anything good.” you tell him, sitting down in the chair between them and joining in the conversation. “Anything that even Towa didn't know was down there had to be trouble.”

“And yet, you charged directly towards the danger, instead of waiting to see what it was.” Dark Rider says. “You never hesitate in the face of potential danger.”
“I can't afford to hesitate.” you say, turning to the Stand. “All of my family was behind me. I can't let any of you get hurt.”
“Yes, but even when your family is not present, you always take the battle to your enemy.” the Stand continues, touching it's blade-like fingertips together. “You always take the head-first approach, throwing yourself at whatever danger approaches. Why is that?”

“Because I know what can happen, and no matter how bad it is I can take it.” you say, his Stand cocking it's head in confusion. “The universe is a dangerous place, Dark Rider. Koruza. If you let it, it will grind you and everyone you care about to dust, and scatter your ashes into the wind. It will tear them limb from limb, and feed them to the lowest parasites. So you have to be even worse. You must be worse. More dangerous, more threatening, and more feared than anyone who would dare oppose you. You must become what they all fear, what they dread, the nightmare hiding underneath their beds, and make the whole universe more afraid of you than whoever would order them to stand against you. When those who would attack you, or your family appear, you mush crush them, completely and utterly.”

Total silence greets your declaration, and as you glance from Stand to user, you see a realization of some type appear behind your son's eyes. His eyes raise, meeting his Stand's, and as one they nod then turn towards you.

“Teach us.” they say together, you feeling a small smile of approval come to your face.
“Let's get started.” you say, and the three of you rise to your feet together. You won't always be around to protect both sides of your family. But if you can impart your wisdom to them, then perhaps you won't need to be.

>“There isn't any sort of chamber here. Even the room that was swathed in dark doesn't appear to her scans.” she says, looking as worried as you are confused. “As far as her scans go, that whole area doesn't exist.”
Fascinating.
Chaya said she was searching in that area and did not spot this place.
>>5163158
>“I don't know how you found this place.” Future Chaya says, walking right up past you with her Apex Saiyan aura blazing. “I know I searched every single room and hallway when we moved in.”
Perhaps then that place was not present there in the same way (when she was searching) like it was when Karn was looking.
>>5172558
>“Well, true Dark is a very physical element.” Chilli says, studying the screen as if he can make heads or tails of the display. “As thick as it was in there, I have no doubt it could have distorted the scans.”
Words of Chilli may perhaps support this hypothesis a little bit. If the Dark can distort the scans then perhaps it could somehow conceal this location from Chaya even if she was near.

Now this is just a random guess but when Karn showed up the Dark did not conceal it, because the Dark "wanted Karn to find it". Why? Because Karn was already tainted by Dark once. It was cleansed, but perhaps the Dark "wants" Karn back (the Primordial Serpent from the portal also targeted Karn not Chilli).
>“Before you do.” you speak up, Towa turning to you. “Better seal that entrance up a little more. I couldn't place it, but it felt that something was watching us the entire time. I don't think that whatever was giving me that feeling is capable of opening it, but....”
This whole place has so many suspicious traits. Something was watching Karn and children in a place that seemingly can't be accessed in a ordinary way (for Chaya it was hidden when she was searching alone).
Now if you add to this that the Towa who lived here previously is mysteriously missing it gets even more suspicious. Or perhaps it's just a coincidence, no need to worry about it.
>>

That’s it, nothing to see here, no monsters or worse lurking just beyond your perception.

Good times. The dumbasses.
>An important detail to not forget. But the question is why?
Does it know we killed Dark Lurker?
>That’s it, nothing to see here, no monsters or worse lurking just beyond your perception.
Does it, crawl beneath the skin?
>>
>>5176312
>An important detail to not forget. But the question is why?
Probably something to do with the lingering essence of the Dark Lurker.
When we get back to our timeline, we need to ask Kaathe or Aku about that.
>>
>>5176385
>Does it know we killed Dark Lurker?
A very insightful question. Plus, unless your body completely consumed it’s soul, you still have it’s essence within you.
>>5176393
You never met Kaathe in your own time. You met that serpent in your Towa’s original timeline after escaping the Time Patrol.
>>
>>5177299
Which begs an even better question. Would Karn's even be capable of consuming another soul as he is right now?
As far as I know, even with DDF, Karn can't do that.
>>
>>5177648
Who knows? Unless you encounter someone who specializes in souls, you may never know.
>>
>>5177648
unless he uses DDF to wish he could consume souls (although it would probably fuck him up).
>>
>>5177681
>Who knows? Unless you encounter someone who specializes in souls, you may never know.
Welp, looks like we gotta keep knocking up Meloka and Towa till one of the kids specializes in soul magic.
>>
>>5177722
Wouldn’t be advisible.
>>5177874
Not quite. This sort of knowledge and ability requires decades of dedication.

QM UPDATE

Epilogue is hopefully going to be dropping this Sunday evening, it’s going to be a wild ride. Been listening to a raid playlist during work today, hope you all have as much fun with it as I am and will writing it. So I just have one question: are you ready to Try Something?
>>
>>5178838
>Raid playlist
Dis gon be gud
>>
>>5179141
Getting real people’s voices, annotations, and mannerisms is much harder than fictional ones. And doubly so for disembodied voices like Try Something himself.
>>
>>5178838
>are you ready to Try Something?
Yes and anon who posted this message then gets btfo by DotoDoya's the powerful counter .
>>
>>5179582
It’s going to be a fun time. Not for older versions of Karn, but not for the Three Idiots later.
>>
The Three Idiots vs Karn raid boss epilogue tomorrow is going to be special, I just know it. At ten full posts, it’s also one of the longest I’ve done in awhile. I hope everyone enjoys it when it drops as much as I have while writing it.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 170 Epilogue-

AGE 858, CONTON CITY

“HOW'S IT GOI-!” Dotodoya starts, Seereax jumping in and shouting simultaneously.
“HOW'S IT GOING EVERYONE DOTODOYA HERE!” he shouts, Rhyme and Doto losing it and laughing immediately. Doto recovers first as Seereax laughs, retaking control of the intro as you and the gathered crowd watch on curiously.
“And today, we're doing something a little bit different!” Dotodoya continues. “You may have noticed that the three of us haven't been posting much lately, and there's a good reason for that. The Three Idiots have been on our GRIND!”
“We've been training!!” Rhyme adds with a shout. “We've been labbin' and shit!”
“That's right, we've all been working out, hittin' the lab to figure out new combos all for this fight right here today!” Dotodoya continues enthusiastically, gesturing up to the screen behind them at the Saiyan wearing Bardock-like armor. “The Three Idiots will be battling Karn, the Dragon of New Salda!”

“Now, you may be asking yourself, 'who's this Deviantart-tier evil Saiyan Gohan wannabe lookin-ass?” Seereax adds in tauntingly, causing the others to laugh as well as do several in the crowd. “He's another Broly-wannabe who's teamed up with the Time Breakers, lookin' to start causin' trouble. But he's not gonna be a problem after today, because we about to beat that ass!”
“E-heh-he-xactly. Now Deion, as we take this special raid time machine through, why don't you tell the good folks at home how these raids USUALLY work, since that's kinda your bit?” Doto asks, the three stepping into a circle on the ground, and light similar to the Time Scroll's magic springs up around them for a moment before they all vanish, the screen going black. After a moment the picture returns, showing their pictures on the left and that of the Time Breaker Karn's on the right.

“I guess. So basically, with these raids they usually start out easy on round one, and by round sev'n they get extremely difficult.” Seereax says through the screen's speakers as the display changes, showing the three suddenly appearing on some small island with one of Freeza's ships on it. Doto steps past the other two, standing between them and the green-armored Saiyan Karn as he turns around. “But this is round one, so you're gonna get a perfect right Doto? Right?”
“Absolutely.” Doto says, Karn clenching his fists and flaring his base form's aura up around him. “Watch this.”
“You wanna die? Then bring it on!” Karn replies, taking a fighting stance common among Saiyans. But he seems different to you. Something about his presence is getting under your skin, even though a screen. This Karn is clearly dangerous. And you're not the only one who feels it.

Many of the people gathered to witness a live Three Idiots raid seem nervous, talking among themselves in hushed whispers as Doto and Karn stare each other down. But the tense stare down doesn't last long, the Saiyan making the first move.

“HRRAAAAA!!” Karn roars, exploding off the ground and charging directly at Doto. As he does, you hear the rather obese-seeming Majin race beside you mutter “Not even transforming? This won't take long.”
“Try Something!” Doto calls, raising his ki-clad open hand just in time for Karn's fist to slam directly into Doto's palm. Which activates his exceptionally-powerful counter attack technique, his crimson energy leaping from around his hand to form a sphere that traps the Saiyan inside. Karn's eyes widen in surprise, the other two Idiots cheering their friend on as the attack explodes.

“OOOOH! I got him looking GOOFY!!” Doto shouts, the crowd gathered around the screen in Conton City cheering.
“Dammit!” Karn snarls, landing on his back and immediately flipping back to his feet. Meanwhile Doto pulls his fist back, and with a punch fires a condensed beam of energy. Karn isn't able to block in time, taking the energy shot directly to the chest.
“Deion, now!” Dotodoya calls out, and Seereax unleashes a technique he learned from Universe 6's legendary assassin Hit. Throwing his fist forward, then up and finally down, Karn is sent back, into the air, then crashing down towards the ground right in front of Doto as the larger fighter charges forward. “Combos!”

The red and black-clad fighter drops down into a feet-first double kick, then spins himself up into a right turning kick then launches Karn back into the air by raising his right hand upwards and unleashing a short-range blast.

“Gaaaah!” Karn exclaims, Doto flaring his crimson aura and blazing up after him. He closes the distance after only a second, then fires off a barrage of heavy punches to Karn's upper body before seemingly finishing his combo with a two-handed ax handle to the Saiyan. But then Doto begins spinning rapidly, flipping over and over three, four, five times before plunging down feet-first at Karn. “Mmmmmmmix ups!” Doto shouts, crashing into Karn and driving him directly down into the ground. But Doto's still not done, and as Karn bounces off the ground the Time Patroller delivers a ki-clad backhand to his Saiyan adversary. “Uuuuh! This attack decides it!”

And with a power-packed, ki-clad punch to Karn's chest, Doto's energy explodes. The titanic blast consumes the two of them, the giant screen whiting out for several seconds. Then as color returns, you see Dotodoya standing over the unconscious form of the Saiyan warrior. Who, after a couple seconds, begins rising slowly back up to his feet.

“Wait, what? He can still-?” Doto asks, the Saiyan roaring furiously as golden light envelops him. You all know what that means.
“Doto look out!” Rhyme calls, as the now Super Saiyan closes in. But at the last second Doto vanishes, reappearing behind Karn with a two-handed ax handle strike to his back.”Level one level one!”
“You wanna? Alright.” Doto says, then fires off an uppercut packed with so much power it looks like a volcanic eruption. His fist doesn't even strike the Saiyan, but his energy launches Karn skyward. “Rhyme, catch!”

“Bet bet bet! LEVEL ONE!!” Rhyme shouts, appearing above Doto and Karn both with his right hand stretched overhead, Death Ball at the ready. Ya ya yeeeeeet!”
“GYAAAAA!!” Karn cries out, the orb slamming him back into the ground with groundbreaking force. Everything goes white for a moment, and when the screen returns you see the three idiots standing together in a giant crater. And Karn is nowhere to be seen.
“Let's go dude.” Doto says, as he and the other two Idiots start glowing again before vanishing, the screen going black. “Ggeeeez. Alright, I got my perfect. Who's next?”
“Let me at 'em, let me at 'em!” Dino calls, screen again changing to once more show them against another Karn. But this one's different, very different.

“So he is a Legendary Super Saiyan, just like Kale and Broly.” you hear, glancing to your left and seeing a large, mohawk'd woman who's presumably also a Saiyan staring intently. “Dammit, no fair! When are we going to unlock that kinda form?”
“So you're gonna get a perfect, right?” Deion asks, the trio reappearing in a different location. This time they appear in the middle of what can only be described as a war zone, what looks to be a Covenant warship firing a colossal beam down directly onto a group of Oozaru in the background.
“I am not gonna get tou-ooh, this arena looks SICK!” Rhyme says, the topless Saiyan seemingly hearing him. Karn turns around, and has seemingly been fighting quite awhile. But why is he only a base Super Saiyan right now?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZMg9ryeWOw

“The Time Patrol too? Looks like I don't have a choice!” that Karn says, clenching his fists and unleashing a primal bellow of fury and rage. His aura shifts from golden to emerald, body exploding as he takes on the much larger, buffer Legendary Super Saiyan form. And once he's transformed he glares at the trio with barely-restrained, teeth grinding rage. “I'll kill you all!”

“I'mma 5H!” Rhyme says as Karn charges, levitating dozens of fist-sized rocks and hurling them at the towering Saiyan. And the projectiles find their mark. However, they don't slow him down even a little. “Wait wha-AAAAAAAH!!”

“RRAAAAAAAA!!” Karn roars, charging through the telekinetically-thrown rocks and slamming forearm-first into the Freeza race Patroller's head. Planting his feet, Karn transfers all that momentum into Rhyme's body, launching him back towards the other two Idiots. Then pulls his other arm back, quickly gathers a large emerald sphere of ki in his left hand, and launches it after him. Rhyme crashes into Doto, bouncing off him back towards Karn as Doto's knocked down, just in time for Karn's orb to suddenly split! The single orb breaks apart into a dozen smaller orbs just before impact, the barrage of ki orbs exploding all around Rhyme.
“What? That combos?!” Rhyme shouts, as despite their ally getting attacked both Doto and Deion are busting out laughing.

“Weeeeell, I WAS gonna ask you folks back home to guess who was gonna get hit first, buuuut.” Seereax says to the camera, Doto clutching his sides and wheezing with laughter as Karn dashes up at Rhyme, who narrowly recovers in time to block the giant Saiyan's fist as he crashes upon the Time Patroller. “So INSTEAD, I'll ask who y'all think gonna DIE first?”
“Can I go ahead and call it?” Doto asks him as Karn keeps up the aggro, forcing Rhyme fully on the defensive. “I don't know why, but I'm thinking it's gonna be you.”
“...Oh.” Seereax says, the two looking awkwardly at each other for several seconds. Then suddenly Rhyme flies back-first away between them, shouting “Deion! Tag out!”
“Wait whut in the-?!” he shouts, as suddenly Karn's fist slams into his jaw, sending Deion flying. “WAAAAAAAAAAA!”

HRRAAAAAA!!” Karn roars, pursuing Seereax now instead of Rhyme. The azure-haired divine Saiyan flips backwards once, and holds out a single hand as the berserk Saiyan closes in. Karn swings, but Seereax vanished, reappearing right behind him instantly and going into a quick rapid volley of attacks before flipping into an ax kick that drops Karn straight down towards Doto.
“Doto, level one!”
“I gotchu, I gotchu. Destructo-! DISC!!” Doto shouts, creating a massive spinning disc overhead and throws it as Karn drops right in front of him. Karn sees the attack and tries to dodge, but despite avoiding a lethal blow takes a heavy cut diagonally across the chest. He crashes to the ground, rolling over a few times until he comes to a stop sliding up on his feet. You hear several people gasp as they see the Saiyan clutching his chest, blood pouring from the wound onto the ground. But yet Karn remains standing, and with a snarl suddenly lunges back at Doto. Who takes his other counter stance, catching Karn's fist and swinging his arms sends Karn spinning several times over before crashing to the ground, unmoving. “Try something.”

“Yoooo, we got this. Easy clap.” Rhyme says, Seereax turning and glaring at him.
“We? WE?!” Deion asks, glaring at him. “Nigga's sayin' we, you ran away like a bitch!”
“Ahaha, you did run away Rhyme.” Doto says, the three disappearing once more in a flash of light as the screen changes. “Yo Deion, you got this next round?”
“Man, I'mma body this asshole!” Deion says, the screen changing once more to show the upcoming fighters. However, this time Karn isn't alone. “Wait, two of 'em?”
“Looks like he brought some help.” Doto says, Seereax getting his confidence back. “”Must be tired of getting beat up on his own.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZMg9ryeWOw

“Man, Karn's gonna NEED help against me!” Deion calls, the trio reappearing back on screen in more familiar looking mountainous terrain. As they appear, Karn turns from his clearly Super Saiyan 3 wife around towards the trio, glaring furiously as the man of Bower himself steps forward, hands in his pockets like the assassin Hit himself.
“If you want to die, then come at me!” Karn shouts, transforming once more into his Legendary form with a guttural roar. “I'll kill you all!”
“Mmmmmman, SIT yo ass down!” Seereax shouts, vanishing instantly and reappearing behind the large Saiyan, kicking him straight up into the air as the other two cheer him on. Deion leaps into the air, launching into a dozen punch and kick combination before ax kicking him back down. Karn lands in a slide, then after a second flips back up onto his feet as Deion lands.

“Meloka!” Karn calls, again surging forward as Meloka suddenly appears directly in front of Seereax with a ki blade in either hand and spins like a blender trying to cut the Time Patroller to shreds. He again vanishes through her attack, reappearing a dozen feet or so behind where he was standing, then disappears again, reappearing past Meloka and directly at Karn, fist in his jaw. But it doesn't so much as stagger him, Karn continuing his forward charge.
“What in the fuck?!” Seereax shouts, as Karn's forearm slams into him and launches the Super Saiyan Blue warrior away. Once again Karn launches an orb that splits near the point of impact, the Scattershot detonating and blasting him skyward. “He got super armor and shit?”

“Deion look out!” Rhyme shouts, Deion backflipping as Karn charges in, raising his arms defensively. And as Karn gets within range, Deion suddenly disappears, reappearing behind Karn with his fist extended. That giant Saiyan suddenly seems to spasm, as if taking punches from an invisible fighter.
“Rhyme, why don't YOU get in here and fight him?” Seereax calls, Rhyme appearing above Karn.
“Death Ball!” he shouts, throwing the orb down directly into the Saiyan and sending him directly to the ground below. “Doto, finish him off!”

“Alright, I'll take care of him.” Doto says, appearing down below Karn as the warrior is flying towards him. “I'm gonna punch this man really hard! UUUUHH!!”

Once more Doto fires off a groundbreaking uppercut, his crimson energy slamming into Karn's back and sandwiching him between that and Rhyme's Death Ball. The two energies explode, Karn dropping down to the ground by his feet.

“YOU BASTARD!!” Meloka snarls, dashing in directly at Doto. The two crash into each other then back flip away, both landing on their feet simultaneously.
“Damn, she's fine.” the mohawk'd Saiyan woman says, you glancing aside at her as her gaze remains transfixed on the small Saiyan woman. She's no more than five feet tall, yet what she lacks Meloka makes up for in aggressiveness. “I'd like me a woman like that.”
“HRRAAAA!!” she snarls, immediately flipping into that spinning dual blade lariat directly at Dotodoya. But he doesn't even flinch, raising his right hand again.
“Try something!” Doto calls, Meloka's blade crashing against the larger fighter's ki-clad fist. And once more, Doto's counter is successful, trapping her inside the orb of ki before detonating it and sending her flying. “Ooooooh, I got her lookin' GOOFY!”

“Tch! FINAL FLASH!!” she roars, throwing her hands forward and firing a powerful golden beam of ki directly at him. But Doto once again uses his counter, catching the beam the instant it crashes into his hand. The moment it does, Doto teleports directly through the beam and to her, again entrapping her in his counter attack. “N-No way!”
“TRY SOMETHING!!” Doto calls excitedly, again blasting her back. But this time he doesn't hold back, again firing off that ki-clad backhand into exploding punch that'd taken the wind out of Karn earlier. Once more the two are consumed in a fiery explosive blast, the screen going white for several seconds. As the blinding light fades, you all in the crowd can see the Saiyan woman is laying down unmoving at the Time Patroller's feet. Once more, that same golden light envelops them all, and the trio vanish just before the screen goes black. “Alright, round four boys! I'm going first this time, watch this.”

“Now some of you may be asking, why aren't we using any skills?” Seereax says, as the screen changes and shows this fight will be a 3v3 between the Idiots and Karn, SS3 Meloka, and Freeza. “That's because we ain't built bitch!”
“Partial drain? Man who needs skills, when the only skills we need are these thumbs!” Rhyme calls, the three reappearing in a strange arena. It appears to be the inside of a cave, with unfamiliar carvings on the walls and what looks like a giant dragon skeleton in the background. “You got this Doto, they cannot handle our stupid!”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDKJfxweKJw

“More Time Patrollers? Dammit, we have to end this quick! HAAAAA!!” that Karn says, roaring and once more transforming. “Bring it on!”
“I got just one question for you!” Doto calls, Karn immediately charging forward. “Try something?”

But Karn, to your and clearly at least half the audience's surprise doesn't attack, dashing directly up to Doto and glares down at him. The fear becomes almost instantly apparent on Doto's face, his energy burning out after a second or so leaving him holding just his hand up.

“Uh-oh.” Doto says, Karn reaching out and grabbing the smaller Time Patroller by the face. “Uhhwooooah!”
“HAAAAA!” Karn roars, slamming Doto down head first onto the ground. Then he lifts the Time Patroller up, and delivers a savage uppercut that sends the orange-faced warrior flying. “Meloka!”
“HYAAA!!” she shouts, appearing up in front of him and firing off her dual-bladed lariat. Meloka's golden blades slash his upper body more than a couple dozen times before sending him straight down at the ground, Karn rushing forward with a shout of “Freeza!”
“OOOOooooohohohohohoo!” Freeza laughs, swinging his hand and the ground between Karn and the dropping Dotodoya suddenly all explodes! The blast catches the Time Patroller, launching him back into the air as Karn launches himself up after him. Karn catches the Time Patroller after a second, firing off a half-dozen heavy blows before sending Dotodoya crashing back down to the ground. A second later Karn lands beside Doto, and as the Time Patroller rises he blazes his emerald aura up.

“Is he charging on us? The DISRESPECT!” Rhyme shouts, Doto immediately swinging a fist for his face. But Karn ignores it, his emerald aura blazing so bright it sends Doto flying straight up into the air over him.
“DRAGON FORCE!!” Karn bellows, and transforms once more. The crowd around you suddenly shouts in fear and shock as he swiftly changes into a giant, Porunga-like DRAGON that catches Dotodoya in its giant fist. “GRROOOOOAAAAAR!!”

“Oh shit! He's a whole ass dragon!” Seereax shouts in surprise, the Karn-dragon slamming him into the ground then unleashing a torrent of flame breath down. Then as Karn reverts back to his normal self and drops down out of the air, Dotodoya's smoking body doesn't move. Seereax steps up, walking up with his hands in his pockets. “Welp. If you guessed Doto, you were right.”
“Deion, you got this, right?” Rhyme asks, Seereax taking his hands out of his pockets. “Man, I'm built different! Ain't no way this Broly-wannabe bitch gonna beat me!”
“Don't you talk about my son!” Karn roars, and with his emerald aura blazing charges directly at Seereax.

But once again, as he closes in to swing, Deion vanishes. But this time Karn does as well, disappearing as the Time Patroller's foot passes through an afterimage of the Saiyan as Meloka charges in from the Time Patroller's back.

“Behind you!” Dino shouts, standing there by Doto's unconscious body awkwardly. Again Seereax vanishes as Meloka swings at his back, this time reappearing a few feet back from Meloka, then vanishing again directly to her and swinging. Seereax's fist slams into her jaw, launching her back away from him. “Aaaah, you got it.”

Meloka flips back after crashing to the ground, landing on her feet and immediately slams her palms together as Seereax pulls his fist back, preparing to unleash the “Shotgun” as he calls it.

“Click click! Boo-!” Seereax starts, when Meloka suddenly slams her hands together similarly to the Final Flash technique. “Oh shi-!”
“It's over! BLADESTORM!!” she shouts and unleashes a tremendous attack. Instead of a beam of energy, instead she unleashes a storm of needle-like blades of ki from her hands.
“https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHSJeuD3HAM” Seereax screams as her blades turn him into a glowing porcupine, then the explosions start. Every second or so as her attack continues, and a dozen or more needles are embedded in his flesh, those impaling him explode in fiery blasts. He explodes more than eight times in as many seconds, and when Meloka's attack finally ends there is not much left of the powerful Time Patroller.

“Dammit, y'all watch this.” Rhyme says arrogantly, stepping forward as Meloka retakes her fighting stance. “I'mma bout to beat this bitch up!”
“Rhyme, be careful!” the ephemeral voice of Doto is suddenly heard over the speakers.
“I believe I should be the one to handle this one.” Freeza says, Meloka backing up as the self-proclaimed Emperor of the Universe steps forward. “I don't know who you are or where you came from, but you are a disgrace to our kind. I will put an end to your miserable existence myself.”

And then, in a blinding flash of golden light, Freeza transforms. He takes on his obscenely powerful Golden form, aura blazing up around him. But to the emperor's surprise, Rhyme simply smirks and mimics him, aura blazing up and shifting to gold as well.

“Just call me Goooooooolden Frieeeeeeeeza!” Rhyme says mockingly, mirroring the emperor's usual fighting stance.
“Oh? It would seem you aren't a complete waste of matter.” Freeza says almost gleefully, tail slapping the ground once as he smirks. “I shall enjoy tearing you apart! SHYAAA!!”

The two fighters blitz towards each other, Freeza deflecting Rhyme's turning right kick with his left forearm then slamming his fist into the Time Patroller's jaw. Freeza punches Rhyme into the ground so hard he bounces, then with contemptuous smugness kicks Dino sky-high. Rhyme flips backwards, regaining his orientation just as Freeza reappears behind him, trapping him in an orb of energy.

“What?! That's bullshit!” Rhyme complains as Freeza smirks at him.
“I was expecting a bit more.” Freeza taunts launching the orb down at the ground. But he isn't done there, gathering a powerful orb of ki around himself then blitzing down at the trapped Time Patroller. Freeza slams full-force into Dino, driving him directly back down into the ground. The emperor steps back, allowing his opponent to retake his feet.
“Cocky bastard.” you hear the Saiyan woman mutter under her breath, but don't turn back her way. Your eyes are glued to the fight, Freeza standing over Rhyme as the Patroller struggles back to his feet.
“Oh, you still want more?” Freeza asks, raising his right hand with ki gathering in his fingertip as Rhyme sways unsteadily on his feet. “Then allow me to kill you myself.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfIl70TPX28

Freeza fires a Death Beam directly at Rhyme's head, but the Time Patroller somehow dodges it! With his eyes closed Rhyme avoids the beam, crouching low then seemingly vanishing. He reappears behind Freeza with his right arm outstretched, the emperor being hit with a seemingly-invisible barrage of attacks before being sent directly back towards Karn and Meloka. The giant Saiyan Karn catches the emperor, while Meloka rushes forward and goes on the offensive.

“Let's see you dodge this!!” she roars, clasping her hands together before her before throwing them wide, unleashing at least a hundred fist-sized ki orbs instantly! They all begin rapidly orbiting her, forming a nigh-impenetrable dome of explosives, but this doesn't deter Rhyme at all as he starts running directly towards her. After all, you recognize this technique. The true, devastating power of the Angels. He rushes in without fear, not showing any signs of fear or hesitation.

“What's he doing, he'll be cut to shreds!” someone else in the crowd calls out, Rhyme immediately flipping and spinning through the orbs spinning around Meloka. His body contorts unnaturally, flipping and spinning through the impossibly-tight spaces between the woman's attacks and rapidly closing the distance between them. “Woah!”
“Hmph. Not bad.” you say, watching Rhymestyle close the distance. Then as he's within striking range, his aura blazes up around him. Not Golden, but instead the pale, silvery aura of Ultra Instinct.
“I'm gonna punch you! Really hard!” he shouts as his fist crashes into her jaw, slamming a half-dozen heavy blows into her before knocking Meloka to the ground, reappearing beside her with his arms around an azure orb of ki. “Kamehame-RAAAAAAA!!”

“MELOKA!” Karn shouts in fear and pain, the beam blasting her for a good twenty seconds before his attack ends. Meloka dropping down to the ground beside him. “You bastard!”

Karn rushes towards the Time Patroller, ready to do damage, but at the last second Rhyme simply flips backwards. Three heavy hits slam into his chest, powerful enough to cause beams of azure light to appear from behind him, but that doesn't stop the Saiyan berserker. It doesn't even slow him down, Karn charging through and grabbing the Time Patroller in a bear hug.

“Rhyme, look out!” Doto shouts, a moment too late.
“Shit, not like this!” Rhyme calls out, but it's already over. Karn's aura blazes, then with a roar unleashes his full power.
“HRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!” Karn bellows, emerald energy consuming the both of them. His Super Explosive Wave blinds the screen, everything disappearing in the violent flash of light. As the light finally fades, you all see Karn holding the limp, broken body of Rhyme in his arms. He drops the unconscious warrior, then to everyone gathered's surprise stomps his head flat in a spray of blood and gore. “Damn Time Patrol bastards! Stay out of my timeline!”

“Uhhhh...” Seereax's ghostly voice calls, the screen fading to black as the Three Idiots address the gathered fans. “So, we got cooked.”
“Hold on guys, we're gonna run this back.” Dotodoya answers him, then gives a heavy sigh. “Man, we didn't even get through round four.”
“We gonna get 'em in the runback!” Rhyme says, slapping his chest as the three reappear in a flash of light. You find that they're already back at the first stage as if nothing happened to them, ready to battle once more. But you've seen enough, and turning around start walking away from the screen. The crowd is all too eager to push forward a little more to get closer, so you don't have any issue leaving. Besides, not like anyone other than Chronoa would recognize you here in this form anyways, right?

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 170 Epilogue End-
>>
Oooooo mysterious.

What a pack of losers. Can't even beat Karns from 30 episodes ago.
>>
>>5181352
Ha!
>>5181382
Wonder who could sneak into Conton City, in disguise, and just walk around without arising suspicions?
>>
>>5181385
Fu I guess? But yeah good intermission showing the 2 and a half idiots.
>>
>>5181408
Actually not Fu. But this was a blast to put together and write, much love to the three D’s.
>>
>>5181347
We really need to figure out Doto's trick, if we do that we can break him.
>>
>>5181354
Oh shit, this Karn doesn't have DDF. Why, how, how many of us have DDF?
>>
>>5181361
Wait...who was watching the fight then?
>>
>>5181414
It shows, I thought I was reading subtitles.
>>5181414
If not Fu, who was it? She knows adult Chilli.
>>
>>5181443
DDF has the precondition that karn basically takes a metric fuckload of divine energy with dragon force, so probably not many, and the ones that do are the really fucking scary karns that can do shit like murder the SKoT.
>>
>tfw they get wiped in round 4
They just ain't ready for round 7.
>>
>>5181486
Too be fair i don't think anyone on the time patrol can clear round 7 at the rate that was escalating.
>>
>>5181491
The dream team, Burcol, TP Jotaro and Xeno Gogeta.

If you don't want to count Xeno Gogeta as a singular fighter like how he would be presented on a roster you could substitute him with Xeno Vegito.

I'm sure they'd manage.
>>
>>5181491
They'd have to get past round 5 to even THINK about going for 7. The Bitch Patrol could never.
>>
>>5181443
This raid is much like the UI Goku raid, going through different points of time Karns.
>>5181449
That means a lot, love these guys and wanted to do them justice.
>>5181486
Pic related is round 5.
>>5181503
Burcol, Kingsman Jones and Mr. Krumbash could take round 5, and with Attack Power, Partial Drain and Health items Lythero’s Shennanigoons could make it to round 7.
>>
>>5181702
>Round 5
They don't get past 4, 5 might perma end them.
>>
>>5181702
I like to think round 7 Karn just straight breaks game rules. Attacking before the round begins, hitting your reserve characters when they haven't been called in for an assist, moving offscreen and attacking from your "blindspot". Because he understands better than anyone there are no rules in a death battle.
>>
>>5181702
If round 5 is berserk 3 what the hell are round 6 and 7
>>
>>5181876
Death, but with a green mullet
>>
>>5181813
The SKoT’s power can save them. But cannot undo being turned against it’s ‘owner’ by DDF’s ability, as from the moment of activation that power is no longer ‘theirs’
>>5181827
Karn is a disrespectful opponent, MK II Shao Kahn tier easily.
>>5181876
Round 6 is God/Blue Meloka(in a fighterz sense would power up on a lvl 3 similarly to dbs broly) and Berserker 3 Karn. Round 7 is spoilers.
>>5181879
HA!
>>
>>5181894
>Karn is a disrespectful opponent, MK II Shao Kahn tier easily.
That's a bit of a stretch, Karn wouldn't stand around taunting like a jackass, however I want them to know. Their balls are no longer safe from Karn's boots.
We need some magic steel or stone shit kickers. Havel's boots aught to be strong enough to survive Karn's kicks.
>>
>>5181902
You don’t know what round 7 looks like. Or round 7.5
>>
>>5181926
>Spoiler
Brawler was the best archtype we ever chose, second wind for the win. That's just Wrathful God Karn,
>>
>>5181937
Imagine a Xenoverse 2 PQ style, opponent rises for a final showdown at the end of a raid you think you’ve won? The timer just disappears, and so does your opponent’s ki gauge. Good luck
>>

Ah okay. Thanks

Any thoughts on the latest trailer for Superhero?
I think it's looking pretty decent actually.
>>
>>5183443
Its not bad, you don’t hear almost anyone shitting on the full cg anymore. Still not gonna watch it through any official channel though, because fuck Toei for what they did and continue to do to different creators. If YOUTUBE is the good guy compared to you, you know you fucked up
>>
>>5183492
what they do this time.
>>
>>5183567
General bullshit I'm regards to copyright claims last I checked, though if I had to guess, they probably drew a line in the sand that reeks of dinosaurs in suits not understanding how their brands survive in this day and age.
>>
>>5183567
Looked into them after the TNM situation, found out they’re worse than nintendo was years ago.
>>
>>5183757
>found out they’re worse than nintendo was years ago
Nintendo is far worse than they used to be.
>>
>>5184001
Yes, and Toei isn’t at that level. Yet. YET.
>>
Also throwing this out there, if the vote is tied at the buzzer, I’ll roll for whichever one wins the vote.
>>
>>5184512
Fair enough, I voted for Broly.

>But Karn, to your and clearly at least half the audience's surprise doesn't attack, dashing directly up to Doto and glares down at him. The fear becomes almost instantly apparent on Doto's face, his energy burning out after a second or so leaving him holding just his hand up.
Dragon’s Glare
>>5181349
>“DRAGON FORCE!!” Karn bellows, and transforms once more. The crowd around you suddenly shouts in fear and shock as he swiftly changes into a giant, Porunga-like DRAGON that catches Dotodoya in its giant fist. “GRROOOOOAAAAAR!!”
Eternal Dragon?
>>5181354
>Seereax shouts in surprise, the Karn-dragon slamming him into the ground then unleashing a torrent of flame breath down. Then as Karn reverts back to his normal self and drops down out of the air, Dotodoya's smoking body doesn't move.
Fire Breath.

Cool skills. It reminds me how good the basic Dragon Force was. Then again we barely uncovered what Divine Dragon Force can really do. I really want to know more what it can do.
>>5181361
>He drops the unconscious warrior, then to everyone gathered's surprise stomps his head flat in a spray of blood and gore.
Karn, Meloka and Freeza from the past still defeated them. Very nice.
>>5181361
>Besides, not like anyone other than Chronoa would recognize you here in this form anyways, right?
It's Mechikabura. It must be him. It lines up perfectly with the fact that he was earlier researching ways to disguise himself in a way that is most undetectable.
Remember when Karn woke up to Time Seal burning and used New Salda's planet wide super Ki sense to find the empty void bubble among uncountable Ki signatures of the all life forms on the whole planet?
Mechikabura was testing his stealthy magic, and Karn found a loophole in it. He as a thank you explained Bloodstoone/Soulstone and how to achieve Berserker 3 through Ritual.

Also very good epilogue. Shows how people on Time Patrol are.

Where is currently Kars with his practice of creating new life in the undergrounds of Sacred World of the Kai?
>single cell organism
>multicellular organism
>simple plants
>simple animals
>advanced plants like " Venus fly trap"
>advanced animals like fox
>life form that is comparable to a human
If he reached the last level then this leads to the question that interests me the most. If he made something like human. Does this being have a soul too? Will it go to the afterlife to face King Yemma?
>>
>>5184635
We already know that Kars was capable of creating near perfect copies of simple animals before he even had access to Divine Ki, so I think it's safe to assume he's moved on to creating intelligent creatures with certain traits and abilities he's seen over the years.
If I remember correctly, GD said he's been toiling away at that level for quite a while now, working towards something he would consider "perfect" and disposing of every failure along the way.
>>
>>5184650
Thanks for the knowledge.
>working towards something he would consider "perfect" and disposing of every failure along the way.
I wonder how exactly he is disposing those failures.
>>
>>5184539
That’s the whole point of voting, to make your voice heard. If an art idea received NO votes, it would disappear for good.
>>5184635
Just ran up, saw the counter and stopped. He can’t hold the Try Something indefinitely.
No, he just fully unleashed Dragon Force while in his Berserker form. Much like he did in the battle against Trigon, or to the Theros gods.
>It reminds me how good the basic Dragon Force was.
It was an excellent Stand, especially for intimidation.
>It's Mechikabura. It must be him.
It could be him. But if it were, why is “your” Mechikabura still looking for a way inside the Time Nest?
>Mechikabura was testing his stealthy magic, and Karn found a loophole in it
One of the few, it turns out. He’s no doubt improved it since then. As for Kars, that would be spoilers for future arc(s?). However, in regards to the spoiler itself, that’s a deep question. But also quite simply explained in the Zamasu arc of all places. The Supreme Kai seed worlds with life and nurture them to grow. So asking if Kars’ creations have souls would be asking if ANYTHING has a soul.
>Also very good epilogue. Shows how people on Time Patrol are.
Glad you enjoyed. I really put a lot of heart into it, as well as at least a dozen hours of watching/listening to their raid videos to make this a tribute of sorts to these guys for putting a smile on my face for so long.
>>5184650
He’s been working on perfection. Wonder how a certain android will compare?
>>
>>5184760
>Wonder how a certain android will compare?
Honestly? I think Cell might be beat for a few reasons.
One, Kars has a far wider variety of genetic templates to pick and choose from, not to mention he also has Saiyan genetic code mostly figured out.
Two, Kars is waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy smarter than Dr. Gero and probably has much better facilities in place as far as playing God goes. If they were both given the same resources, I would always bet on Kars to create the superior product.
>>
>>5184740
He has to ensure nothing is discovered, as he believes that Shin would not “approve” his experimentation with life itself. And he doesn’t think himself ready to kill him and take on the title of Supreme Kai himself. When he does, he wants to be seen as almost savior-like in comparison, to cement himself in power
>>
>>5184771
Not a bad guess. Kars is undoubtedly intelligent
>>
>>5184772
>He has to ensure nothing is discovered, as he believes that Shin would not “approve” his experimentation with life itself
Not a bad assessment, Shin seems to be firmly Lawful Stupid.
That said, I could also see Shin being so detached from mortal life that he actually doesn't care about Kars' experiments.
>>
>>5184777
Nah Shin cares about mortal lives. But in that super patronizing way. Like how people care about the lives of animals at the zoo.
>>
>>5184777
>Lawful Stupid
Even worse, he doesn’t even know all the rules. Shin was forced into the role of Supreme Kai at least a few thousand years before he would have been ready for this role.
>>5184785
>But in that super patronizing way. Like how people care about the lives of animals at the zoo.
Or other living beings one deems “lesser beings” and “in need of YOUR help and guidance”. A recurring trend amongst the Kai’s creations.
>>
>>5184772
How "divine" is Kars willing to make his experiments? Obviously even lesser godhood is out of the question, but would anyone notice if the neo-pillar men had "just" twice the essence of a regular mortal?

Here we are, almost 24 hours from episode 171 dropping. Also, if you haven’t voted on the patron commission poll there is still time! And speaking of patron commissions, here’s a sneak peak of last month’s winner in-progress.

>>5185068
You’re surprisingly a bit off. He’s working on -perfection-. Not kinda perfect, not almost perfect. THE perfect being.
>>
>>5185455
Its so freaky seeing Slypher the Sky Dragon coming out of our babies mouth like a Xenomorph.
>>
>>5185455
>You’re surprisingly a bit off. He’s working on -perfection-. Not kinda perfect, not almost perfect. THE perfect being
Does he realize his creation is gonna surpass him then?
If he does...does that mean he's gonna try and "eat" it?
>>
>>5185485
Now imagine that were YOU, and one day your tongue turned around and started talking to you.
>>5185581
You’re missing important context for WHY he’s creating the perfect being. And to avoid spoilers, all I’ll say is it all leads back to Karn.
>>
>>5185745
He wants a friend?
>>
>>5185745
>Now imagine that were YOU, and one day your tongue turned around and started talking to you.
I'd just kinda shutdown at that, which explains why she stopped making noise.
>>
>>5185846
Not really, no. Friendship isn’t something he’s ever needed, or really wanted. Even most of his companions he looked down upon.
>>5185862
Right? Now imagine you’re the ONLY ONE who can see it? Nobody else sees this thing that’s taken over your tongue, nobody can hear it, yet it can still bite people. Your kind grandpa takes you to the doctors, and none of them notice anything either. Imagine how isolating that would be for a very early development child.
>>
Also, only one hour left to vote! I’m closing the vote down at 8pm EST sharp
>>
>>5185869
I feel bad for how often our kids turn out weird and we can't really do much about it besides hugs and life lessons.
>>
Rolled 1 (1d2)

>>5185939
True. Life happens to us all, no matter how our parents attempt to shield us. And in other news:

Poll’s closed! And we have a tie, 3 votes each for Broly “The Wall” and Ultra Instinct Omen Karn. So this roll decides it:
>1
Broly “The Wall”
>2
Ultra Instinct Omen Karn

And remember, next month’s vote will be patron-exclusive. Since those anons are helping fund these pieces
>>
>>5185968
Woooo, The Wall is coming down.
>>
>>5186000
Yes! I like this piece, and what it will hopefully become. Our boy’s growing up, and has some rather big shoes he thinks he must fill.
>>
>>5186003
Him and Chilli both, our boys have a drive the likes of which few Saiyan's before our time genuinely had. The Universe will shake where they walk after we pass.
>>
>>5186028
>The Universe will shake where they walk after we pass
>after
I think you underestimate them
>>
>>5185869
>Not really, no. Friendship isn’t something he’s ever needed, or really wanted. Even most of his companions he looked down upon.
That's what everyone thinks until they find a real friend.
>>
>>5186064
True, but friendship isn’t what he wants from his experimentation
>>
>>5186064
>Mechikabura's face when he realizes that Karn genuinely considers him a friend, with no strings attached
He could probably count the amount of people that have done so in the past on one hand. While missing several fingers.

>It could be him
I think it's him.
>But if it were, why is “your” Mechikabura still looking for a way inside the Time Nest?
He already secretly (did not told anyone about it) found "that bubble of time" that Trunks likes to revisit. Now he is stealthily doing reconnaissance in the city. The level of importance of this task means that he could not let anyone do it for him.
To ensure that nobody messes this up and reveals to Chronoa that backdoor to her place has been found Mechikabura does the reconnaissance himself.
>>
>>5186375
Mechikabura and Fu both know of this entrance, along with Trunks and the Supreme Kai of Time. But what if I told you it wasn't either of them?
>>
SOON
>>
>>5186385
How soon is soon?
>>
>>5186395
70 minutes
>>
>>5186380
Then I don't know who could it be. Perhaps new or not revealed yet "player". Maybe the mysterious "third side" of the conflict?

SOON!
