Saiyans. Known throughout the universe as the warrior race, their power and combat prowess proved invaluable in the Covenant's downfall. And with the largest threat to the PTO destroyed, their remnants scattered across space, the universe has been united under one banner. Peace reigns across the galaxy, under the rule of Lord Freeza, Emperor of the Universe. But not all wish it to be this way. Remnants of those who were conquered are gathering in the shadows, increasing their power, and plotting their revenge. Despite this newfound age of peace swiftly spreading across the stars, there are those who would seek its end. Will you be able to stop them, or shall the universe once more be plunged into the fires of war?

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest! This story takes place in an alternate timeline within the greater Dragonball EU. You the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Berserker Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power, widely recognized across the universe as Freeza's close friend and confidant, not to mention his right hand man and General of his forces. From humble beginnings on the now long gone Planet Vegeta, Karn has become the pride of his people, and their greatest champion.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

A week after returning from Chilli's new home, Turles telepathically reached out to Karn to save him from a life-threatening injury. Karn took the grievously injured warrior to his ship's medbay, then housed his daughter Ticho as well for the night. The next day Turles and Karn confronted Komand'r, the princess of Tamaran with King Vegeta and Nappa present, and after King Vegeta's perfectly-executed trap succeeds, Komand'r is banished and Turles is allowed to keep his daughter there on New Salda with him. They celebrate their victory, but just as the party aboard the old ship winds down, suddenly your ship is under attack! Rushing outside you confront several strange, mechanical soldiers. But as we rejoin Karn and the battle has come to a close, you all have made a terrifying discovery: Vox's Dreadzone logo is on the inside of the drop pods the soldiers landed in!

“What the hell do you think it means?” Leyas asks you, everyone having gathered around to inspect it for themselves. And sure enough, everyone agrees that it is unmistakably the Dreadzone logo, after all Vox's cameras have been flying around New Salda for years at this point. “Is that moron trying to start a war with us?”
“I say bring it on!” Sarada says with a smirk, punching her left palm. “Sorry Chaya, but we're gonna kill your boss for this.”
“Woah woah woah, hold on.” Chaya says, your daughter clearly worried that she's serious.
“No way, Vox isn't stupid enough for that. Besides, this is his Champion's home.” you hear Nappa say, turning back to face him as he continues. “If he was trying to quietly get rid of her, doing so would be far more efficient in a ship accident in the middle of space. Not fighting here.”

And as he says this, you again get the feeling that you're being watched. And sure enough, as you turn back towards your ship, you see two of Vox's hovering cameras hiding between the legs of your ship, recording eye seemingly focused on your daughter. Which leaves one question:

What do you do about this?
>Telepathically reach out to Vox, and demand answers
>Using telepathy and focus on Vox's ki through the link and teleport directly to his side to confront him face to face
>Reach out to Vox through official channels, and demand answers
>Call Raven over and have her make a portal back to Dreadzone so ALL of you can go over and confront him at once
>Telepathically reach out to King Vegeta, and ask him how you all should handle ANOTHER diplomatic incident today
>Ask Chaya how she wants to handle this, since he's still technically her boss

Why else would he have cameras here?

"Before we do anything, King Vegeta should know what happened here." you say, closing your eyes and reaching out to Vegeta telepathically. "We have a problem."
"What happened now?" he replies, you sensing his exasperation through the mental link. You quickly explain what happened, the metal soldiers landing down in the odd pods, you all smashing them then how you'd found their ship they'd dropped from near space then destroying it and it's contents. But King Vegeta's answer completely surprises you. “Wait, that was today?”
“What?!” you reply, both telepathically and also apparently aloud, as everyone turns towards you curiously. You take a second to re-focus, and keep the conversation all mental. “What the hell is that supposed to mean?”

“Vox reached out to me last week, and told me that his new 'Champion's Challenge' or whatever was ready for Chaya to challenge it.” he says, quickly explaining why these machines are here. “So he'd planned a promotion that involved his new machines 'attacking' her home before Chaya embarks on the mission to destroy these 'ancient, evil' machines.”
“So this whole thing was something she was supposed to fight?” you ask, understanding why these machines were so easy to destroy. They weren't designed to fight you, but your daughter.
“No no, Vox was hoping you would be seen fighting them.” he answers, and you can almost see him shaking his head as he does. “This would make them seem more threatening, and to raise views for this new season. Speaking of, you destroyed the ship too, right?”
“Yeah it's gone.” you reply. “I was worried it was another invasion, and went to stop the source immediately.”

“Well, it can't be helped.” he replies, not sounding upset in the slightest. “Also, could you not tell Chaya this was planned? Vox should be calling her back to headquarters any moment now.”
“Sure.” you reply, as you see Chaya's hand going to her scouter as she gets the call. “I'll tell everyone once she's gone.”
“Good.” he answers, you able to sense his sigh through the link as Chaya immediately rushes inside your home. “Sorry, I forgot all about this with the whole Turles issue earlier.”
“It's all fine, don't worry about it.” you reply, gesturing to everyone that you'll explain as soon as you finish with Vegeta. “Anything else you need to mention?”
“No, nothing else is happening.” he replies, chuckling. “Thanks for reaching out to me first, instead of heading over and giving him trouble immediately. Would have made things a little more terse, diplomatically-speaking.”

“Hey Daddy, I gotta go!” Chaya shouts, you looking over towards the ramp as she runs down it. Your daughter is carrying her massive sword, holding a small bottle given to her by Caulifla to her waist with her tail as she runs. “I need to take care of this problem, right now.”
“Be careful kiddo.” you tell her, as one of Raven's portals appear right in front of her. “Let me know how it goes.”
“I will!” she says with a beaming smile, then confidently strides through the portal. Raven immediately shuts it before anyone else can go through, everyone looking towards you with varying degrees of confusion and outrage.
“I gotta explain this to everyone, need anything just let me know.” you think to King Vegeta, then end the telepathic link. “Alright, so what happened was-”

You quickly explain why Vox's machines were here, his whole plan, what you and he had discussed about Chaya's new challenge before this even happened, and how he'd wanted Vegeta to tell you all about this before it happened, but forgot to mention it with the whole Turles and Komand'r situation.

“Oh. Yeah, that makes sense I guess.” Leyas says first, not sounding wholly convinced.
“He's stupid enough to send murderbots here and expect us not to retaliate.” Sarada replies, still fuming in her white-haired demonic Saiyan form. “Asshole.”
“I knew it had to be something like that.” Broly says, you turing curiously towards him as he keeps talking. “Vox isn't stupid, his machines would have lost to the Hive if it weren't for us. No way they could attack us with any reasonable chance of success.”
“Still, for Vegeta to not mention something that important...” Nappa says, brows furrowed. You can tell he's worried for the young king, having been even more a mentor to him than you'd been over the years.

But what now? What do you do?
>Go with Nappa to check in on King Vegeta, try and find out what's going on with him and why he's so stressed out
>Offer to spar Sarada, and let her burn off some of that rage at Vox against you instead. You could use a good brawl right now anyways

“Hey Sarada, Nappa. I have an idea.” you say, the two sharing a confused look. “We should head over to the palace, and bring King Vegeta along for a bit of sparring. He's seemed kinda stressed out today, so this should be cathartic.”
“I would like to come along too.” Broly says to you, his expression neutral. “Is that okay?”
“It should be fine.” you tell him, then have another idea. “First, could you run inside and tell everyone what happened and that the trouble's passed?”
“Sure thing.” he replies, turning from you all and walking up the ramp back into the old ship as you turn your focus back towards Nappa and Sarada.

“Besides, the two of you look like you need a good brawl as well.” you say, Sarada smirking at this.
“Those tin cans were barely even a warm up.” she brags, stomping down on the remains of one's head and shattering it. “I've been wanting to go another round, and show off my newest trick.”
“I won't say I'm against it. After all, I've been wanting to see King Vegeta show off that Primal form again as well.” Nappa replies, more thoughtfully. Then he mutters under his breath, so low you almost couldn't hear it. “And maybe I'll find out what's been bothering him all week.”
“Did you say something?” Sarada asks, Nappa shaking his head as you frown, curious. But you don't pursue the issue, Meloka emerging from the ship with the rest of your kids in tow.

“Go on ahead, I can watch them.” Meloka tells you, walking down the ramp while holding Karn Jr. in her arms. But she isn't also holding Okira, instead just holding her hand as your youngest daughter walks unsteadily alongside your wife. Your daughter's brows are furrowed as she concentrates, taking one shaky step after another, but with Meloka's support doesn't fall. She makes it down the ramp successfully, then looks up at you with excitement in her eyes.
“Aaah-!” she starts, before her Stand Imagine Dragon snakes out from between her lips and roars triumphantly. You and Caulifla immediately focus on her Stand, your daughter closing her mouth and pulling her Stand back inside instantly. You smile and walk over, taking a knee beside her and laying a hand on her head.

“Well look at you, already up and walking.” you say, ruffling her hair affectionately. She smiles at your praise, you feeling a grin widening on your face. “In a few years you might be running circles around the rest of us.”
“Nu-uh! I'mma be the fastest ever!” Kayle calls out confidently, her twin Maz then shouting as well.
“No, I'm 'onna be even fasterer!” he declares, and the two begin chasing each other around the island as you chuckle to yourself, but before rising back to your feet Meloka leans in and kisses you.

“I'll let Caulifla know, so if anything goes wrong, she can head over immediately.” Meloka thinks to you as the kiss ends, but you shake your head.
“Let her focus on her own training, and not worry about us.” you reply. “If anything happens, I'll bring them over to her. But if nothing happens I don't want her thinking about us and worrying something could go wrong instead of focusing on her own training.”
“Okay.” your wife answers aloud, then addresses your gathered kids. “Alright, who's ready to go start training?”
“ME!” several voices shout out, your wife heading off with Caulifla, both sets of twins, Okira, and Karn Jr. Leaving you all to handle your own business.

“We should be off as well.” you say, raising your right hand's first two fingers to your forehead. “Everybody hold on.”
“Are you sure that's a good idea?” Broly asks, suddenly sounding a bit worried. “What if he's busy?”

"That's why you ask before just showing up somewhere." you tell him, and focus on Emilia's energy instead of King Vegeta's. And as everyone moves over, ready to begin, you telepathically reach out to the former assassin. "Hey, Emilia. Is King Vegeta busy at the moment?”
“No, he's just messing with paperwork, muttering under his breath about something dumb.” she replies, and you can sense that she's surprisingly annoyed by something. “Are you planning something to get him out of here?”

“That was the plan.” you reply, and can sense the immediate improvement in her mood. “Are we good to show up?”
“Please do.” she answers, you sensing a bit of exasperation in her tone. “He's been holing himself up in this office every day, and barely leaves except for training and meeting with different foreigners. I need you to knock some sense into him.”
“Will do.” you reply, then ending the telepathic link address everyone. “Alright, let's go.”

Then with a second's focus use your Instant Transmission, teleporting yourself along with Leyas, Sarada, Nappa, and Broly directly to Emilia's side. You leave the sandy beach behind, appearing in a room deep within the fortress King Vegeta calls home. You all appear behind him as he's pouring over a table full of documents, his screen on the side full of different diagrams and figures that don't make much sense to you. But as you all appear, Vegeta doesn't even react. So as you're about to make a move, Nappa moves first. And to your shock reaches out, and just grabs him under the arms.

“Whaa-!? N-Nappa? What the hell-?” he shouts, as your large friend lifts him up and slings Vegeta over his shoulder like he weighs little more than a child. “What are you all doing here?”
“C'mon, it's time to head out of this office and get some training done.” he replies casually, and starts walking towards the door. “You've spent too much time cooped up in here.”
“Wait, I still have to finish the-” King Vegeta tries protesting, but none of you take his protests seriously.
“You've spent too much time in here, it's time to get out and DO something.” Emilia scolds him, wagging a finger in his face as your group follows along behind Nappa. He leads you all through the fortress of a palace out a back entrance, past several of the Royal Guard who do nothing to stop Nappa as he drags the King along outside. Seems they share Emilia and Nappa's sentiments.

“Alright, you got me out here. Now what?” King Vegeta asks with his arms crossed, staring at you and Nappa. “Why are we here?”
“I already told you, time to get to training.” Nappa replies, focusing his ki into his right hand. He then pitches the orb directly into the sky, and you know what happens next. “Burst open and mix!”

You and surprisingly King Vegeta don't look up at the orb, but Nappa, Leyas, and Sarada all look right up at it. And as they do, they begin to change. The three of them roar out as they transform, taking on their gigantic Oozaru forms. However, you notice something's different immediately. Nappa takes on his Golden Oozaru form, combining the power of an Oozaru with the might of a Super Saiyan for a form that grants immense power. But Leyas and Sarada are different. Their Oozaru forms turn pale, pure white fur sprouting out on their massive bodies.

“GRRROOOOOOAAAAAAR!” the three transformed Oozaru roar, towering above you, King Vegeta, and Emilia. Nappa begins beating his chest as Leyas and Sarada look each other over,

"You not going to transform into an Oozaru either?" King Vegeta asks, you look over questioningly towards him. Seeing your expression he smirks, clenching his fists as his golden aura begins to slowly rise up around him. "You see, I no longer need the Golden Oozaru form. As I've finally figured out how to transform past it! HRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

Vegeta's energy spikes, his body consumed entirely by the surge of golden ki exploding out from his body. You have to shield your eyes as he transforms, you hear the deep grumbling roars of the three Oozaru as they're blinded as well. You can sense his power exponentially growing, far surpassing your own even at one hundred percent in your current Ascended Berserker form. If you want to keep up, you'll have to go even further beyond. But then it hits you. The first time you'd fought his Primal form, back on Sanghelios! When you'd connected your ki into the Soulstone's massive repository. And despite having channeled a small amount of ki into it every evening before bed, you haven't actually touched that energy in awhile. Perhaps this is the perfect opportunity to use some of it?

“Well, what do you think?” King Vegeta asks, voice lower and more menacing as the light fades, revealing him standing there in his Primal Saiyan form. Pinkish fur covers his upper body, hair grown out enough to drape over his shoulders. He absolutely radiates with power, sparks dancing around his body with every breath. “Think you can measure up to me in this form?”

“Not with any of my usual forms, no.” you reply with a smirk, clenching your fists as you focus on the contact with your Soulstone in your boot, and open the floodgates to that power. “So how about we go for a transformation rematch?”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qlj3NMKdcbc

“Wait, do you mean-?” he asks, but you can't hear him as you feel your mind and body consumed by power.
“RRRAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” you roar, emerald ki blazing up around you as your body becomes inundated with the foreign power. Your body burns as that outside power courses through you, pushing your body to it's limits and beyond. “HRRRYAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

Everything burns, your body feeling like electricity is coursing through your veins as you struggle to control the torrent of energy pouring directly into you. It swells greater and greater, your body trembling as it fights to keep all this power inside you.

“HAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you bellow, a scream of pain and rage as you grab ahold of that power, and begin directing it deeper into yourself. Smashing that power against the barrier inside that wellspring of emerald Super Saiyan power buried deep within. You direct that overwhelming power directly at the wall inside yourself, smashing it down and ascending to a power even further beyond what you're normally capable of with a final, blood-curdling scream. “HRRRRRYAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

And then everything goes quiet.

“Haaaaah, haaaaaah, haaaaah. Damn, that kinda hurts.” you say, rising back up to your full height and popping your neck before leveling your gaze at King Vegeta, who seems genuinely surprised at this despite his power being slightly higher than you own right now. “Alright. Let's do this.”
“Heh. Bring it on!” he replies, golden aura blazing. All three Oozaru above you roar in tandem, and it seems like everyone's ready to go.

King Vegeta takes his fighting stance while you simply stand there, arms down by your sides as you stare each other down. Then without giving anything away suddenly surge forward and thrust your right elbow directly at his face. Vegeta barely reacts in time, twisting aside counterclockwise while firing off a straight right at your exposed guts. With only an instant to react you bring your left knee up, taking the blow on the shin instead of to your abs. You then twist and fire off a right rising kick towards his chin, King Vegeta leaning back to dodge but your foot catches the edge of his chin, kicking him backwards. The momentum carries your body backwards as well, you flipping back onto your right hand before springing back onto both feet and sliding to a stop. As you do you see King Vegeta landing on all fours, then reaches up and brushes his chin with the back of his left hand.

“GRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAR!!” you hear an unfamilliar voice roaring, you and Vegeta looking aside and seeing that a FOURTH Oozaru has joined the battle. And this one's fur is a brilliant emerald.
“Heh. Go get 'em Broly.” you say, then turn your focus back to the now-standing Vegeta and charge once again. He turns as you charge in, crossing his arms and blocking the heavy right you fired off directly at his face. But you're not done with a single strike, twisting your entire body and following up your right punch with a left turning kick also aimed at his head. Instead of blocking your heavy kick he instead drops his level, ducking your kick. Your eyes widen in surprise as he nimbly evades your attack, and as your body rotates from the force of your kick realize that you're wide open. So you focus on the techniques of the Su Ma, and back flip in midair up and over King Vegeta. You feel a rush of wind on your back as he doubtlessly tries to take advantage of the opening, but you're too quick and dodge his retaliatory strike. “HAAAAA!”

“Guh!” Vegeta exhales as your knee slams into the back of his head, staggering the king and sending him stumbling forward a couple of steps before he regains his footing. He then throws his right arm back without even looking at you charging up behind him, and fires a powerful energy shot directly at you.
“HYAH!” you exclaim, backhanding the energy orb and swatting it aside with your right as you close the distance and fire off a straight left jab at the back of his head. But then he just drops, falling backwards and dodging your blow once again. “Tch!”

“Got you!” he shouts, swinging a ki-clad fist up at you in a powerful rising uppercut. You see it coming, and at the last possible moment roll your entire body counterclockwise around the strike. Flipping over in a full rotation you land on all fours, then launch yourself back and away as he immediately tries stomping down on your back. You narrowly avoid the blow, landing on both feet and sliding to a stop perhaps a dozen or so feet from him. “Heh. Not bad Karn. You've already lasted longer than the last time we fought like this.”

KABOOM

You glance over towards the noise, and see that Broly has just slammed Nappa down back-first to the ground. You smirk at this, and give him a quick, “Give 'em hell, son.” telepathically before returning your focus to King Vegeta. Who is simply standing there watching you, having retaken his fighting stance.

“You ready for round two?” he asks with a smirk, and you feel his energy surge even higher. Was he not fighting at one hundred percent yet? And as you have the thought, you can't help but smirk back. Because you haven't been fighting at your full power either.
“You ready to stop holding back?” you ask, clenching your fists and flaring your emerald aura up. “HRRYAAAA!!”
“HAAAAAAA!!” he roars, both of your auras blazing wildly around you as you both quit holding back and unleash the full extend of your forms' power. He then retakes his fighting stance, aura blazing and sparks dancing as he stares you down. “Bring it.”

"I'll take you down with my full power!" you reply, crossing your arms in front of you while focusing and shaping your ki. Your blazing emerald aura begins to slowly at first, then faster and faster it condenses around you, solidifying into your shining Energy Body. “No holding back!”
“That's more like it!” he replies, grinning like a madman and bracing himself. “Hit me with everything you've got!”
“HAAAAAA!!” you roar, exploding off the ground and lacing your fingers together overhead as you charge. Closing the distance in an instant, you then swing your joined fists down directly at his head. King Vegeta raises both arms in an 'X', catching your crushing blow where his arms join. The force of your attack travels down his body and into the ground, which shatters and forms a crater with him at the center.

“Tch! N-Not bad.” he replies, you immediately following up your overhead blow with a rising knee up into his crossed arms from below. Which knocks both his arms up over his head, your knee driving through them and up into his chin which staggers the king back wards. “Gyah?!”
“HRRAAA!” you roar, twisting and following up your knee with a heavy left hammer fist at his right collarbone. Vegeta raises his right arm horizontally to block your attack, and manages to withstand the strike without you driving through his guard and still striking true. So you drop down to the ground and twist, using the entire might of your legs and back, as well as your torso and arm to drive a right uppercut into his jaw that sends Vegeta flying.

But you can't let him get even a moment's breath, or he could start turning the momentum around. So you leap into the air after him, Vegeta then throwing both arms forward at you.

“EAT THIS!!” he roars, and begins unleashing a volley of powerful energy bullets directly at you. You don't let his attack deter you, and charge directly into his onslaught of power. Each shot that would hit you, you deflect with either hand as you charge, deflecting over two dozen shots a second as you rapidly close the distance between you. But for every shot you deflect another misses, you hearing hundreds of explosions behind you as you charge towards the king. But right as you close the gap between the two of you, he quits firing. And you see why, as he's holding a massive orb of ki in his right hand pointed at you. “BIG BANG! ATTACK!”

“Dammit!” you snarl, trying to raise your arms to defend but his attack hits you first. The sphere of energy slams into you like a crashing Covenant laser, sending you crashing back down to the ground in an instant before the orb explodes in a tremendous blast. Thankfully your Energy Body absorbs the brunt of the attack, else you would be in trouble. But as the attack ends you rise back up to your feet, channel more ki back into your Energy Body to repair the damage it'd sustained from the attack, then before the dust has begun to settle you blast right back up at King Vegeta's massive ki signature.

“What?!” he exclaims, surprised as you emerge from the cloud only a few feet from him. And before he can recover or defend himself you strike, swinging a crushing right hook directly into his jaw. “Guuah!”
“My turn! HYAAAH!” you roar, going on the offense and following your heavy right with a short left uppercut straight to the abdomen. He wheezes as the air is knocked out of him, but despite that still tries defending himself from your next several attacks. But each time he raises his arms to block, you either swing through or around his guard, landing dozens of heavy blows before you notice him gathering his power to unleash an Explosive Wave to knock you back. So right as he unleashes his energy you kick off of his chest, flipping back away from him and getting a half dozen yards or so between you as his energy explodes out around him. But instead of knocking you away, and giving himself a chance to recover, by throwing his arms straight up left himself wide open. “HRRRM!”

You exhale as you punch forward with every ounce of strength you have, firing off a shock wave of pure air directly at him. Which strikes Vegeta square in the gut, seemingly again winding him and sending the king flying back and away. He soars over your son brawling with Sarada, Broly raining powerful overhead blows down onto her guard before Leyas tackles him from behind and drops them both onto her. The fact they're teaming up against your boy proves that you've taught him well.

You have the advantage, but what do you do now?
>Let Vegeta go and recover a moment while you drag Leyas off your son, and let him get back to his feet so he doesn't get grappled and possibly put in a bad situation
>Keep focused on Vegeta, don't let him get any time to recover and keep pressing your advantage relentlessly

"Keep it up kiddo." you mutter to yourself, blasting off after the rapidly shrinking form of King Vegeta as he flies back. You close in almost instantly, and that's when Vegeta reveals he'd been ready to retaliate the entire time! He stops his backward momentum instantly, swinging forward with a heavy right directly at your face.
“Gotcha!” he roars, but as he swings you move. Not with the sturdier, counter-oriented Djem So technique. But with the far more fluid Su Ma, twisting counterclockwise around his fist. You spin around his attack easily, then before he can defend himself you swing your right elbow into the base of his skull. “Guah-?!”

The heavy blow stuns Vegeta, and you use the point of contact to backflip once again, this time over Vegeta to appear in front of him. And as you do, you drive your right knee square into his face. You feel his nose crunch from the blow, rocking his head back.

“D-Dammit!” Vegeta snarls, throwing his right arm forward and unleashing a tremendous wave of ki from it at you. But you twist your whole body again counterclockwise, narrowly avoiding the destructive beam with a smirk. You then take that momentum and blast towards Vegeta, flying around and under his beam to close the distance before firing a powerful right kick up into his jaw from below. “Gyaah!”

Twisting clockwise as your momentum carries you higher, you drive your left fist straight into his sternum, stunning Vegeta once more. Then, still upside-down, you unleash a quick barrage of strikes to his torso before sending him flying with a left kick to the head. Due to the angle you'd kicked him at, this time your blow sends him crashing straight into the ground. You hear the ground crumble as he hits, a massive dust cloud obscuring him from your vision as you reorient yourself with gravity.

“RRROOOOOOAAAAAAAAR!!” you hear Broly bellow, and glancing over your shoulder your jaw drops a bit at the sight. Your son is standing atop Leyas' giant form, holding Sarada over his head before hurling her directly at Nappa. Which knocks your friend over, Broly beating his chest as he roars once more. “GRRROOOOOOAAAAAAAAAR!!”
“Damn, maybe I should head over there and slow him down for a bit?” you think to yourself. But just as you have the thought, Vegeta roars from below you.
“I WON'T LOSE!!” comes his primal scream, blasting the smoke and dust away as his purple aura blazes from below. Wait, purple? “GALICK GUN! FIIIIIIYAAAARE!!”

And he unleashes the most devastating wave of energy yet, the amethyst beam surging directly up at you. Well, that's not good.

>>
>>5277230
And that's it for tonight, everyone enjoying this episode so far? Ready to see how this little brawl ends, and what will happen next? All this and more, when Saiyan Conqueror Quest continues in 12 hours!
>>
>>5277232
I got a question.
Would it be possible to use the ki that's fueling our Energy Body and transition into the Piercing Fist Mk.II to bypass the charge time for the latter?
>>
>>5277249
Yes, but actually no. You can’t just USE the energy you have invested into the Energy Body. As you’d first have to transform it back to a usable form, turning it pliable once more before being able to re-focus it into another technique.

Or if you like metaphors, your ki is like water you control with your mind, and techniques using it hardens that water into the shaped ice. You can re-shape it only once the ice is ‘melted’ again, then it can be re-frozen into a new form
>>
>>5277275
So, the way I understand it, the process would be as such
>Disengage Energy Body
>Manipulate free energy into neutral energy
>Further manipulate neutral energy into Energy Fist Mk.II
I guess the question is really if Karn can do that fast enough to not eat shit right now...is that possible?
In the future, would it possible to train those swift manipulations of Ki so we can chain our Ki based techniques into each other fluidly?
>>
>>5277280
Not with Energy Body. However, perhaps in seven years or so after fully mastering it, you could train to channel more ki into different parts of your Energy Body for different effects. Spikes out of your back when someone tries to sneak you, a piercing point at the end of your fist, a thicker, broad shield across your crossed arms, etc.
>>
>>5277643
I think I remember bringing up the concept before.
Eventually Karn's specialization is gonna get to the point where codifying it as a style would be more than appropriate.
Hell, we could call it "FORTRESS". Get it?
And the bit about shifting our Energy Body into different implements could be called "FORTRESS: ARMORY".
>>
>>5277698
It's possible to keep traveling the path of the Energy Body until it's more a style than a technique.

"SHIT!" you exclaim, crossing your arms before you while feeding as much ki into your Energy Body as you can before his beam hits. Which is surprisingly a LOT in the split second you have before the powerful attack crashes into you at full force. You don't try and resist the attack, allowing his energy to send you flying instead of struggling against it. You let the attack send you sky high, the air quickly getting thinner and thinner before you find your chance. As the gravity weakens, you're more easily able to push yourself off the attack enough to roll off, the beam continuing straight up and right out of New Salda's atmosphere without you. You take a second to take a couple deep breaths, and realize something important:

Your body's nearing it's limits. Your arms and legs are trembling, your body is sweating a lot more than you should from such a simple spar, and you can't quite catch your breath either. Looks like you're about done sparring in this form.

“GRRRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAR!!” you hear your son's roar from far below, and focus your ki sense to try and gauge the situation. Somehow, Broly's Emerald Oozaru form is even stronger than it was moments ago, his power still climbing. Whereas yours is beginning to decline. How did your wife ever master this form? Just a few minutes at most in Super Saiyan Three, and you're already pushing your upper limits. You're almost out of time, maybe a minute at most before you're completely out of power.

But what do you do?
>Rush back down and attack King Vegeta, hurry and end this with everything you've got left

“King Vegeta. We need to stop him before he goes too far.” you think to your king as you begin flying back down towards him. “I don't have much time left, we have to get him under control right now.”
“Understood.” he replies, you sensing his energy blaze back up as he charges towards your son as well. You soar down through the clouds, seeing Broly standing tall and beating his chest in challenge to the world. So you decide to get his attention.
“BROLY!!” you roar, charging down towards him with your emerald aura blazing. Your Oozaru son turns towards you, and unleashes a massive mouth blast up towards you. Which you dodge easily, blurring to your left as you continue your downward charge. Keeping his attention focused entirely on you, and allowing King Vegeta to approach unnoticed. “You have to get yourself under control son!”

“RRRAAAAAAAAA!!” he roars, turning his head and trying to slam his beam into you. Which you keep dodging around, narrowly avoiding the blast until you see it. Vegeta's closed the distance, kicking up off the ground and firing off a powerful double kick up into your son's massive jaw. Ending the beam, and snapping his head backwards.
“That's enough mindless rampaging out of you!” King Vegeta calls, you closing the rest of the distance in a blink to swing for his head. Your fist crashes into Broly's snout, and with your son already off balance from Vegeta's strike, your attack sends him toppling backwards. Broly's massive Oozaru body crashes to the ground with a tremendous impact, ground shattering beneath him as he lands. But just because he's down, that doesn't mean he's out.

“GRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAA!!” Broly roars, energy exploding out from his body in all directions. It forms a shell around him, carving out the ground beneath his frame before it begins firing hundreds of energy shots out all directions.
“Dammit!” you exclaim, dodging and weaving between the onslaught of energy shots. “We have to stop him!”
“Use your Barrier, hurry!” you hear Vegeta shout, and immediately begin ending your Energy Body. If one of those shots hits you now, it could cause severe damage, but better than Broly possibly destroying the entire planet in his rampage. “Before your son destroys everything!”

“BARRIER!!” you roar, throwing your arms wide and expanding your ki out from you in all directions. His energy orbs explode upon contact with your Barrier, you growing it faster and faster until it fully engulfs both you and your Oozaru son entirely. His attacks can no longer reach outside the shield, all of them detonating on the inside of your attack, but it leaves you wide open. And unable to evade, you take one of those shots directly to the chest!

KABOOM

“GYAAAAH!” you cry out in pain as your body is consumed by the blast. But despite the pain you hold on, keeping your Super Barrier up and running. Yet as the smoke clears, you see three more shots headed directly for you! If those all hit you, you're done!
“HAAA!” Vegeta roars, dashing up between you and the energy attacks and swatting the trio aside. “Just hold on Karn, a little longer.”
“Tch! D-Dammit!” you exhale, feeling your grip on your Barrier slipping. “I can't hold it much longer.”
“No choice then.” King Vegeta says, throwing his arms wide before bringing them forward. “Sorry about this Broly. FINAL FLASH!!”

Vegeta's overwhelming golden beam fires forth from his hands, crashing into the orb around Oozaru Broly. You see his beam beginning to distort Broly's energy, then it shatters with a crash. King Vegeta's Final Flash overpowers your son's mindless rage, slamming down into him and burying him in that torrent of golden ki. As it does you feel your ki bottom out, then feel something inside you break with a snap.

“Gyah!” you exclaim as your body goes limp, Barrier vanishing as you drop down right out of the air. You have no power left, not even enough to remain airborne as you fall. Vegeta ends his beam as you fall, then to your surprise see Broly actually standing up! He's still got enough left in the tank to get up and fight after taking that attack? Just how powerful IS that Emerald Oozaru form? You then hit the ground with a thud, laying flat on your back as Broly rises up to his full height and roars defiantly. “Dammit. Now what?”

Well? What do you do now?

"Vegeta, you have to go for the Power Ball." you call out to the king telepathically from your spot on the ground. "You have to get him to a manageable form."
"Are you saying that I cannot handle him alone?" King Vegeta replies, a hint of anger in his response. Does he think you don't believe that he can win?
“No, I know you can beat him eventually.” you reply confidently as your vision begins blurring and darkening around the edges. “But New Salda's been through enough today. We can try this again another day, on Raxus Prime or another world that wouldn't matter if it were destroyed.”
“....You're right.” he responds after a moment, as your vision fades away completely. But you're still conscious, barely hanging on. “I'll end this right no-”

But you don't get to hear the rest of what he was saying, as you feel your consciousness fade away. Everything becomes dark, and after a few moments find yourself drifting alone in that all-too-familiar void somewhere deep in your own consciousness. But while you're seemingly alone this time, something's different. There is a faint green glow around you, and after a moment of looking around you realize that it's coming from the Soulstone. Taking it out of your boot you look the small gem over curiously, wondering why it's glowing so brightly for a moment, and then you notice it: the gem is actually still bursting with power! When you'd finished your transformation, you realize now that you had quit drawing upon the gem's power. Taking on the power of Super Saiyan Three doesn't automatically draw from the gem itself, unlike your demonic Supervillain form granted by Towa.

“Huh. At least I can't accidentally draw power from it and drain the Soulstone.” you say, and after another second of looking it over return the gemstone to your boot's hidden pocket.
“Indeed.” you hear the familiar, elderly voice of a certain demon from behind you. And turning around, sure enough, there floats the Demon God who even the Supreme Kai of Time fears: Mechikabura. “Greetings, Karn.”
“Mechikabura.” you reply evenly, neither aggressive nor overly trusting. The Demon God has been nothing but helpful and friendly towards you, but you still haven't figured out what his game is. Is it only because you and the Supreme Kai of Time are enemies? Or is there something more to it? “What brings you here?”
“You do.” he replies, then with a sinister grin full of hidden meaning corrects himself. “Or rather, your children. There is something important you must know.”

“I'm listening.” you reply with no hesitation. You may not fully trust the Demon God, but to your knowledge has never actually lied to you once and his advice has always been at least helpful. You would be a fool not to hear him out. “Is this about what Broly just did?”
“The Emerald Oozaru? No, I am not here for trivialities.” he answers, which is both relieving and even more worrying to you. “While that power and today's events will leave him conflicted, ultimately nothing you would say to him will change his mind about the course he will take moving forward. That is not true, however, for your eldest.”

“Chaya? What happened?” you ask him, worried for your daughter. She'd left earlier today heading to that challenge Vox had set up for her, which will end with her battling that younger soldier Tanya. “Or, what WILL happen?”
“She will almost certainly lose her battle to her so-called friend.” the Demon God tells you seriously. “She CAN win this fight, but her arrogance will doom her. But this is where you come in. How you handle this will set the course for the rest of your daughter's life. So I want you, Karn: choose wisely.”
“Chaya...” you mutter, pondering what the Demon God just told you. Chaya will lose to Tanya? And her ENTIRE future will be determined by how you handle that?
“Choose carefully, Karn.” he says seriously as the darkness around you begins to crack and light pours in. “And remember, the best of intentions can always lead to unexpe-”

But then you're awake, eyes opening to see King Vegeta kneeling over you, hand hovering above your chest as he channels some of his blazing Primal ki into you.

“Hey there. Guess that's my win, huh?” he says with a smirk, rising back up to his feet and offering his hand down to you. Which you take, but your mind is still troubled by what you'd been told. He helps haul you up to your feet, but his brows furrow as he meets your gaze. “Everything okay?”

Well?

>Don't tell him about Mechikabura, instead say that next time he won't be the one still standing after you two spar

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just exhausted from taking that form." you say, rising up to your full height and meeting his gaze with what you hope is a confident expression. "But next time you won't be so lucky, I'll be the one still standing after we spar."
“Hahaha, I'll be looking forward to it.” he replies with a laugh and a grin. He then stretches out, arms back as he takes a deep breath, then sighs out. “You know what? You all were right. I didn't realize how much I needed this.”
“Just because you can take that transformation now is no reason to start slacking on your training.” you reply, looking around until you see your son asleep on the ground. “I thought you were going to be the best, weren't you?”

“Says the one who just lost.” he replies with a smug look, you turning and walking over to Broly. You kneel down, taking your son's unconscious body in your arms before turning back to face him.
“Is that all you want?” you ask him, Vegeta looking confused. “A single victory? Because I'm not going to stop getting stronger. Next time I'll defeat you, then Freeza, and even that bitch the Supreme Kai of Time herself as well. I won't stop getting stronger until there is no one who can stop me.”

At your declaration Vegeta lowers his head, then his body starts trembling. You're worried about him for a moment, but when he raises up you see that he's laughing quietly.

“Hahahahaha! You're right again, Karn.” he says, shaking his head as he laughs to himself. “I've been thinking too small, focused only on our own people. Being the strongest Saiyan isn't enough, I have to be THE strongest.”
“Now that's more like it.” you say, holding out your right arm towards him. “Let's keep getting stronger together, and see which one of us will surpass Lord Freeza first.”
“I won't let you surpass me easily, Karn.” he replies, the two of you clasping forearms. “By the time Lord Beerus arrives, I will unquestioningly be the strongest.”
“Heh. We'll see about that.” you reply with a grin, and with a nod of mutual understanding you release each other. You won't let him surpass you, in fact next time you fight you will be the one who wins. You will keep getting stronger and stronger, making yourself as imposing and terrible as possible to battle whatever troubles the future will bring. Because if you know anything for certain, it's that trouble will never stop coming for you and your people. So you will keep doing everything in your power to prepare for it.

Kind of. Very painful, but no serious or lasting damage. Fortunately, that battle high kept you from truly feeling it.
>>
>>5278201
Oh. So I guess it would be...an Acute Metamorphic Sprain?
I wonder if that's common with freshly minted Super Saiyans, if not more so regarding those attempting to access that power without physically transforming.
>>
>>5278249
You'll see more about it when this episode continues. Karn knows someone who's intimately familiar with all the pains of Super Saiyan Three after all.
More so with those who spend too long with the False Super Saiyan form before fully transforming than either of those, since it's an imperfect form.

And this is why I do these polls. What I’m planning to write doesn’t always necessarily reflect what the majority wants to read, so better to test the waters now and again and see where majority interest lies.

One of them especially. But I can save it for the epilogue, and give the majority what they want with the intermission. After all, it will be an interesting ride regardless. Things are happening on several fronts this arc.
>>5279325
Not closed. But popular opinion’s pretty clear so far. Kazuma seeing Cold’s transformations would be rather shocking to him
>shake up Kazuma and his band of comic relief.
Please, Aqua’s too dumb to be worried, and Darkness would be eager to get hit.
>>5279384
In ‘canon’, Buu’s egg was stored on Babidi’s ship and brought to Earth. Where he came from is never explicitly stated. But WHY he came to Earth is important, as well as how he steals energy to awaken Buu. Cold would certainly think of different traps to lure him.

>Wait until you see their progress, training TOGETHER daily in peak conditions instead of Chaya training essentially alone and Ace no longer being held back by the Time Patrol.
So Chaya knows how to fight pregnant like her mom?
>>
>>5280502
>No longer being held back
Even better, he actually has a partner that can not only keep up with him, but regularly proves to be even stronger than him.
I imagine he just didn't get that kind of opponent after a certain point, so he's probably stacking gains like a madman.
>>
>>5280667
Ha, but no. They haven’t progressed to that stage yet. Both are still, well, to put it as nicely as possible, really emotionally stunted. Neither have had a relationship yet, Future Chaya due to being basically alone with no one her age from the time New Salda fell, and Ace due to the mind control he was under suppressing his free will and forcing him to agree with both Trunks and SKoT’s requests(orders).
>>5280793
Oh especially that, the two have been powerleveling harder than an online mmorpg character seller. At one point he had no one but Xeno Goku/Vegeta and WHIS to help him train. Whis couldn’t(or more correctly just didn’t want to exert himself) push him to the limits like a good rival, and he was leagues above his fellow Saiyans. Only Vegito/Gogeta could match him, but those fusions were extremely limited in full-power training time.
>inb4 what about Jiren
The same Jiren who always prefers to train alone in isolated solitude?
>>
>>5280813
Even if Jiren was willing to train with Ace regularly, he'd be a shit sparring partner.
He explicitly disregards things like form and strategy and relies solely on raw strength. That's fine if you just want to pump your powerlevel up a bit, but that doesn't help you become a better fighter.
Now that I think about it, Jiren would probably make a great training dummy more than anything.
>>
>>5280813
>>5280813
So Future Chaya and Ace are just pulling a Make Love, Not Warcraft moment?
>>
>>5280893
Naw, their grinding isn't wildly inefficient tedium to get around a super predator killing everybody.

Also based on earlier statements, I have a question.
If and when we do start training under Whis, is he gonna tell us to fuck off as soon as we get strong enough enough to demand some effort from him?
>>
>>5281091
Depends on several choices. However, one option has been locked with him by going for the Berserker 3/God path.
>>
>>5281189
So, we know that the Berserker God transformation would be extremely disconcerting to Whis.
If push comes to shove, and we somehow end up killing Whis, what happens then?

>>5281361
Then its time for El Grande Padre.
>>
>>5281361

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 174 Epilogue-

AGE 778, ABOVE PLANET EARTH

“KAA MEEE HAAA MEEEE!” Goku roars as he swings at Lord Beerus, then fingers to forehead begins using Instant Teleportation to blink around him several times. Ending up beneath the Destroyer, ki gathered into his signature attack. “HYAAAAAAAAA!!”
“W-WH-WHAAAAA-?!” Beerus exclaims as the blast consumes him. Goku's energy explodes in a massive blast, ruffling the hair of the figure floating above the both of them. Wearing one of the Time Breaker's signature masks, the figure of Broly however is unmistakable. You're facing down this massive mammoth of a Saiyan, the magenta of your hair and flame-like divine aura contrasting his dark red fur and the wild black mane of Super Saiyan Four.

“Surrender Broly. And we'll get that mask off of you.” you say, holding your sword before you in both hands. But Broly doesn't reply, instead simply holding a hand forward as he begins gathering his ki. Without waiting for him to finish gathering enough energy for an attack you move, swinging your sword directly for his mask. The giant Saiyan doesn't even try to dodge, your blade swinging down directly into his face. The magical blade crashes against the enslaving enchanted mask, but to your surprise you don't cut through. In fact your blade doesn't even scratch it, and being so close now you can feel the Berserker Saiyan's bloodlust as it focuses exclusively on you. Bringing back all too familiar and awful memories of your deaths at the hands of another Berserker.

You are Trunks: Apprentice Supreme Kai of Time, Super Saiyan who's ascended into the realm of Gods, son of Prince Vegeta and Bulma, and the longest-serving Time Patroller working for the goddess Chronoa. But right now, your job is to restrain this Dark Dragon Ball-infused Broly and retrieve the cursed artifact from him to prevent Mechikabura from getting whatever wish his dark heart desires. But your odds of doing that are suddenly a lot worse than you'd assumed.

“Heh!” the Dark Masked Broly exhales, swinging the energy gathering in his right palm up into your torso where it explodes.
“GYAAH!” you scream as his energy explodes, blasting you and sending your body flying. You're sent tumbling through the air, flipping back over and over again until you finally manage to stop yourself.
“Trunks, are you okay?” the Supreme Kai of Time asks, her voice coming through your earpiece. You raise your left hand over the ear bud, and shake your head while answering aloud.
“I don't have the power by myself to stop him.” you tell her as the masked Broly draws his right arm back, gathering his demonic energy-infused ki. “I need backup, quick.”

“Sorry Trunks, but everyone else with clearance is busy.” she says, you feeling yourself getting even more nervous. “We're stretched thin right now. I'll send whoever's free first your way, but you have to hold out just a little longer!”
“I'll do my best.” you answer, ending the call. And as you do, you see a familiar silhouette rising up between you and Broly. “L-Lord Beerus?”
“Hmmm, now you have some power.” he says, addressing Broly and seeming completely unworried about the Dark Saiyan's power gathering in his hand.
“RRRAAAAA!!” Broly roars, twisting and slinging that orb of ki with all the power of his massive frame directly at Beerus. The orb expands into more than triple it's original size just as it's about to hit the God, who simply raises one hand and stops the massive orb with seemingly little effort.

“Not a bad attempt.” Beerus says casually, but then Broly clenches his outstretched fist. And his attack explodes right in the God of Destruction's face.
“Lord Beerus!” you shout in shock, but after the blast ends you see that the God of Destruction is unharmed. “Thank goodness.”
“Don't tell me you thought an attack like that would be enough to hurt a God of Destruction?” he asks, turning to face you. Then his eyes narrow as he takes in your form, having just battled Goku. “Another Super Saiyan God? And where did you come from?”
“I'm with the Supreme Kai of Time.” you tell him quickly, moving between the Destroyer and Broly. “Please, leave this one to me. He isn't from this timeline.”

“I see....” Beerus says, pondering a moment. “Very well. I shall return to my business. Please send my regards to Chronoa.”
“I will. Thank you sir.” you say, when suddenly you hear an all-too-familiar voice from behind you.
“Hey, you! Destroyer! I heard you're pretty strong!” a woman's voice calls out, you turning and to your horror see that Time Breaker Chaya, accompanied by your former ally Ace. “When I'm done beating the tar outta Broly, you're next!”
“Oho? Confident, are we?” he asks, then takes a relaxed, floating pose with his hands behind his head. “Very well. You defeat that Saiyan, and I'll accept your challenge.”

“What did you do to Ace?” you shout, trying to grab her but Ace is swifter. Despite being only in his base form, he's a match for you, stopping your arm with both of his. He wasn't THAT much stronger than you before, what kind of insane training have they been doing?
“Stay out of my way.” she answers without even looking at you, focused entirely on the massive Saiyan trembling in rage before you all. His masked gaze goes from Chaya to you to Beerus then Ace, seemingly deciding on which one of you he'll attack first. But Chaya makes that choice easy, and transforms herself. “HYAAAA!!”

Her golden aura blazes, hair spiking and changing to the same paler color as she takes on her Super Saiyan form. Not even bothering with Super Saiyan Four, much less her full power Apex form. Despite her power, does she think she can actually beat Broly without at least matching his form?

“This should be...No, not quite. HAA!” she says, and as she ascends to Super Saiyan Two, and to your surprise their powerlevels are shockingly close. You can't tell who's stronger, but just that fact alone makes you realize how out of your depths you are here. You can't stop them, no matter what you do. Correction. Almost no matter what you do, but you'd have to pick your moment. “C'mon big guy, show me what you've got.”
“GRRRR! RAAAAAAAAA!!” Broly roars, dark aura blazing as he surges forward. Chaya charges forward as well, the two powerful Saiyans swinging their right fists directly into each other's. Despite the air being incredibly thin up here at the edge of Earth's atmosphere, their clash sends out a tremendous shock wave. It crashes into all of you, the force knocking you back a bit from the fight.
“Is that all?” she taunts, actually shoving his fist back then going on the offensive with a left turning head kick. “HYAAA!”

“Woah.” you say as she goes on the offensive, unleashing a barrage of strikes against the larger Saiyan. He tries to defend himself for a few seconds, but seeing that he's getting outpaced he switches strategies.
“GRRRRRAAAAA!!” he roars, aura blazing around him and pushing her back. He then charges with a wild right swing, Chaya bracing her left forearm with her right hand, and blocks the heavy blow. You see her wince, then release her arm as Broly follows with a left. This blow she ducks, however, then counters with a rising uppercut square in Broly's jaw. “Guuh! GRRR! GRRRAAAAA!!”

He recovers and starts swinging wildly, Chaya bobbing and weaving around his heavy strikes. Despite being a near-even patch in power, she's clearly so much faster than him that this isn't even a contest.

“She's so much faster than him, this isn't even a fight.” a familiar voice says, you turning and seeing Goku and Whis floating beside Beerus. He's looking just as relaxed as the God of Destruction, simply watching the fight and commenting as if it were the World Martial Arts Tournament. “They may be the same, power-wise, but he can't win this.”
“Indeed.” Whis says, the angel as calm and proper in this timeline as any other. “That one's power is impressive, but he has no refinement or training.”
“A shame, with a few decades of training he could have been a warrior worth fighting.” Goku says, as Goku as ever. “Even with all that power, I think I could even fight him.”

“RRRAAAAAAAAAAA!!” Broly roars, drawing his right hand back and pitching forward one of his Scattershots. Future Chaya simply blazes her aura up, deflecting several that would have hit her aside. But the rest are now heading for all of you!
“Stay behind us, Lord Beerus.” you say, sharing a glance with Ace. He nods, and the two of you easily deflect the rest of the energy orbs away from the Destroyer and those of this timeline. He may no longer be a Time Patroller anymore, but old habits die hard.

“This is getting boring.” you hear Chaya say, then are knocked back into Whis as her aura blazes. Her energy spikes massively, stronger than probably even Jiren as she takes on not her Apex form, but only Super Saiyan Four. Matching Broly's transformed state, and blowing his power out of the water. You see the larger Saiyan immediately back off, fear in his white eyes as she's surpassed him by several orders of magnitude. Then before you can say anything she moves, closing the distance between them faster than you can react and fires off a single jab up into his guts. “I'm done with you.”

“Guuh-aah-?!” Broly exhales, then his giant body goes limp as he begins reverting back to his base form. She actually did it, and with a single strike? Just how strong IS she now?
“Alright, now to get-” she says, and begins reaching out towards the Dark Dragon Ball embedded in his chest.
“NO!” you roar, surging forward to stop her from claiming the dark orb. If Mechikabura gathers all seven, there's no telling how much damage he could do to all of time. “I won't le-Huh?”
“No” Ace says, his hand around your ankle stopping you just short of being able to grab either Chaya or Broly. “Sorry Trunks. But I can't let you interfere.”
“A-Ace?” you ask, but then he hurls you back and away from Chaya. “Woooaaaah!”
“HYAAH!” you hear Chaya roar, then as you reorient yourself you see her holding the dark orb triumphantly overhead. And before you can do anything about it, the blue android woman working for Towa appears, grabs the orb, and vanishes. Chaya then turns towards you, and hurls the unconscious body of Broly at you. You catch the Saiyan as she continues speaking. “Here. Run along and put this whenever it belongs, while Ace and I get down to business.”

“Supreme Kai of Time, what should I do?” you ask her, unsure if you should try fighting or not. You know you'll lose, it wouldn't even be a contest. But if you can buy enough time for anyone stronger to arrive, it might be worth it.
“Bring Broly back.” she answers after a moment, sounding defeated. “We can put him in a time stasis, then send you back in with backup whenever it becomes available.”
“Roger.” you answer, and without hesitation retreat. Lord Beerus can handle the two of them. Right?

“Dammit. I wasn't strong enough.” you say, once back in the safety of the Time Nest. Chronoa immediately points both hands at Broly, and traps him in a sphere of time energy. She then turns back to the pile of scrolls on the table, looking it over with the Elder Kai.
“This could be the break we've been looking for.” the old man says, hand to his chin as he watches the events in that timeline unfold. “If Beerus uses his Hakai and erases Chaya, we can recapture Ace and erase whatever brainwashing Towa has him under.”

You don't say anything in response, just walking up behind and looking over the shoulders of the short deities and peer into the scroll.

“Now that that's out of the way.” Chaya says, rolling her right shoulder a couple times. “Are you ready to fight, Lord Beerus?”
“To think that all you Saiyans are so alike.” he says with a cocky grin, rising back straight. “But before we begin, I am rather curious about something. I was under the impression that Super Saiyan God was stronger than anything the Saiyan race can do. Yet you and that other one both possess this more...fuzzy form. What is it?”
“This is the Primal Saiyan.” she says, drawing back her skintight blues from her arm a bit to show off her fur. “It is achieved by combining the power of a Super Saiyan with the full moon power of an Oozaru. And once you master that Golden Oozaru state, you take on this more powerful, compact form. And who told you that Super Saiyan God is the strongest Saiyan form?”

“What?!” Goku asks, astonished. And that's where Ace takes over, taking on the first divine form.
“This is only the first step.” he replies, then clenching his fists that flame-like aura begins to 'cool'. It rapidly changes to a pale blue, with gold inside it close to his body. “This is what you get by combining Super Saiyan God with your normal Super Saiyan form. But that's a mouthful, so we just call this Super Saiyan Blue.”
“You Saiyans are fascinating creatures, I must admit.” Beerus responds as Goku “Whoa”s in the background. “Seems coming to this planet will be more than worth my time, don't you agree Whis?”
“If by 'worth your time' you mean 'doing the Supreme Kai of Time's job for her', then yes I would agree.” Whis says, you sensing Chronoa getting angry at the accusation. But she cools off as the angel continues talking. “However, I don't recognize the one she sent here, instead of visiting herself. Which means that there must be a lot going on we aren't aware of.”

“Do you mind if we start in these forms?” Chaya then asks, catching the Destroyer off guard. “I was kinda hoping Broly'd be a good warm up, but, well.... Or do you want us to go straight into our strongest transformations right out of the gate?”

“Wait, combining Super Saiyan God and a Super Saiyan isn't even your strongest form?” Goku asks Ace, clearly getting excited by the prospect of having so much higher he could climb. “There's more?”
“I'll leave that choice up to you.” Beerus says, taking his arms from behind his back and letting them hang limply by his sides. “But I would suggest that you not underestimate a Destroyer, else your lives might end before I've had my fun.”
“You should probably get behind me, for your own safety.” Whis says to Goku as Chaya and Ace exchange a look, then nod to each other before facing Beerus once more. Goku meanwhile complies after a second but doesn't take his eyes off the three fighters. You can even feel yourself getting a bit nervous. Sure they're powerful, but not even they can take down a Destroyer God as powerful as Beerus. Can they?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DIExug1Ps0

“REMEMBER, YOU ASKED FOR THIS!” Chaya roars, her golden aura blazing even higher as she takes his advice and begins powering up. “HRRRYAAAAAAAAAA!!”
“HRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” Ace bellows as well, doubled over with his fists clenched as his hair begins flashing brighter and brighter while his aura goes crazy. “HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”
“HYAAAAAAAAA!!” Chaya roars, her golden aura and Ace's divine Blue auras swelling and mixing, glowing so bright you're forced to look away. Then the impossible happens. The scroll, laid out flat on the center table in the Time Nest, begins shaking! The entire Time Scroll itself has begun trembling at their combined power, you glancing over to the two older deities and see the looks of shock and horror on their faces mirroring your own feelings.

“I-Impossible.” the Elder Kai says, taking a trembling step back away from the scroll. “No mortals should have that much power!”
“They're so strong.” Chronoa says, reaching out and grabbing the table. You see her hands shaking, is she really that afraid?
“So these are your strongest forms?” Beerus asks, staring down the two strongest Saiyans you've ever met without blinking. “So, what are these?”
“This is the Evolution of Super Saiyan Blue, only achieved by breaking through one's limits.” Ace says, retaking his fighting stance while Chaya does the same.
“And this is the ultimate, limit-shattering form of a mortal Saiyan.” she says, the stars in her aura twinkling as she looks down at Beerus. A fact he notices, eyes narrowing a bit. “Or put simply, the Apex Saiyan form.”

“Interesting. You Saiyans are clearly far superior to those of my own time.” Beerus says, and to your surprise raises his arms into an actual fighting stance! You've never seen him this serious before, even when he Hakai'd Zamasu! This fight is going to be something incredible. “Now, let's see what you two can do.”

“HAAAAA!!” Chaya and Ace call as they charge forward, twisting around each other as they fly. Once they've closed the distance Chaya goes for a right hook to Beerus' jaw as Ace twists into a left turning kick aimed at his ribs. The Destroyer blocks both hits with his forearms, but before he can retaliate the two Saiyans swing together. Chaya's left and Ace's right fists graze each others as they punch together directly at his chest, Beerus crossing his arms to try and block the hit. “HRYAAAA!”

“What?!” Beerus exclaims as their combined power actually sends him flying back, much to his shock.
“Woah!” you say as they both blaze their auras, charging after the God. Beerus flips backwards once, reorienting himself as they once again close the distance. Switching sides Ace now goes for a heavy right kick while Chaya twists around him similarly to how her mother fights, driving her right elbow back at the Destroyer's neck. Beerus goes fully on the defensive, blocking Ace's blow and shoving him back just in time to narrowly avoid Chaya's stunning blow. But the two don't relent, keeping up such an extraordinary pace that Chronoa actually slows down the scroll enough for the three of you to keep up. And as they relentlessly attack the Destroyer, you realize something else: Ace's fighting style has almost completely changed.

“You see it too.” the Supreme Kai of Time says, not looking away from the scroll as Chaya and Ace keep moving, constantly hitting Beerus from different sides and not remaining in any spot for more than a moment or two. “He's still just a brilliant a fighter as ever, and has even copied her fighting style. Not to mention he's finally surpassed her.”
“Surpassed?” you ask as once again they combine their powers, this time in a combined flying kick to the torso. Once again Beerus can't withstand that much power, and is sent flying. “What do you mean?”
“Don't you remember?” she asks, still not looking at you. “At the level he is now, he should be able to sustain a Kaio-Ken x5 for at least a few minutes straight.”
“Oh yeah that's right!” you say, having forgotten he could combine the Kaio-Ken with Blue Evolution for even greater power boosts. “But why isn't he using it?”

“Isn't that obvious?” Elder Kai asks the both of you, having not taken his eyes away from the Saiyans battling the deity who'd sealed him within the Z Sword so many millions of years ago. “He's saving it for a last resort if they get in trouble. And you should know that Chaya wouldn't have let him surpass her without a fight. Perhaps....”

“Perhaps what?” you ask, not liking the ominous feeling you're getting. “What is it?”
“Now, it might not be the case.” he says as the two continue to drive Beerus back, the Destroyer having not yet thrown an attack of his own. “But, perhaps she has learned it too?”
“Learned it? Learned what too?” you ask, not getting it at first. But then you do. Realization strikes, and you suddenly understand what the Elder Kai is afraid of. What if not only Ace is saving the Kaio-Ken, but he TAUGHT it to Chaya as well? “You don't mean...?”

“ENOUGH!!” Beerus bellows, amethyst aura blazing and blasting both Ace and Chaya back from him. They stop themselves after a few yards, just as Beerus goes on the attack. He blinks forward, swinging a right backhanded chop at her neck. She leans back, narrowly dodging the blow only to take a hard left to the gut that sends her flying. But that leaves him wide open, Ace capitalizing with a heavy left cross to the jaw. “Gah? HRAAAAAAA!”

Beerus uses the momentum given to him by Ace's strike, spinning counterclockwise and driving his left elbow into Ace's temple to stun him before spinning back around with a heavy right side kick square into his guts. He sends Ace flying with that kick just as Chaya flies back in, delivering a flying double kick right into the Destroyer's face. Ace and Beerus are launched in different directions simultaneously, Chaya instantly pursuing him to keep up the pressure. The God of Destruction flips backwards once, stopping his backward momentum just in time to block a heavy right turning kick with his left forearm. Beerus smirks, firing off a quick right jab at her sternum. Chaya manages to block the hit with her left forearm, but the force of his punch sends Chaya back. She soars back, stopping herself just as Ace flies up.

“Hahahahaha! Yes, this is it! THIS is the fight I've been waiting for!” Beerus declares eagerly, the purple energy of Destruction radiating out from him. “I haven't had a fight like this in several millennia. Tell me, what were your names again?
“I'm Chaya. And this is Ace, my...Uhhhh......” she says, then suddenly doesn't know what to say as she looks over at him, blushing. He also blushes at this, the two awkwardly not looking at each other for a few seconds before Chaya shakes her head, changing the subject. “We're the two most powerful Saiyans of all time!”
“So what you're saying is, once I defeat you, I'll have seen the absolute peak of Saiyan power?” he asks, a malicious grin coming to his face as he slowly raises his right arm. “Well then, let's see how you handle this! HAKAI.”

Then to everyone's surprise, Chaya charges forward, and punches straight THROUGH his orb of Hakai energy!

“What was that?!” she asks angrily, getting in Beerus' surprised face. “Did you really think such a tiny amount of power could stop either of us? Either start taking us seriously, or I'm gonna kill you right now!”

Your jaw drops, she did NOT just say that. Did she? You glance over to Chronoa and the Elder Kai, and see both of them staring wide eyed and slack jawed at the Time Scroll. You look back in, and then see Beerus start laughing.

“Hahaha! I don't think a mortal has ever spoken to me like this.” he says jovially, but then his expression turns dark. “But for that, I AM going to erase you. So prepare yourself.”
“If you're going to stop holding back, then we will as well!” she replies, flying backwards back beside Ace. “You ready?”
“Ready.” he replies, the two clenching their fists and letting their auras blaze up to their fullest.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkz77L7lMHw

“HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” Ace roars, a red outline beginning to form around his Blue Evolution aura. Are they really doing this?
“HRRRYAAAAAAAAAA!!” Chaya snarls, you seeing a similar red outline around her sparkling, starry golden aura as well. No, no way. They can't be....Can they?

“HRRRAAAAAAAA! KAIO-KEN!!” they roar simultaneously, crimson auras suddenly blazing wildly. Their combined Kaio-Ken has so much power it actually begins rocking the entire table the Time Scroll is laying on, the Elder Kai falling backwards in pure shock.
“N-No way.” you stammer, completely shaken by their sheer power. “That's impossible.”
“You ready for round two?” you hear Chaya taunt, then see Beerus snap his fingers, and hundreds of orbs of Hakai energy three times the size of the first one suddenly appear around the Destroyer.

“Show me what you can do, Saiyans! Hrryaaaaa!” Beerus calls, throwing his arms forward and sending the hundreds of Hakai orbs towards Ace and Chaya. Who both charge forward, multicolored auras blazing as they challenge the Destroyer Beerus. Watching the two of them effortlessly destroying each attack, carving a path through his energy of Destruction, you feel more powerless than you have in a long, long time. Sinking to your knees as they challenge a god, you can't do anything but feel completely helpless. Even if you would have stayed and tried to fight, you would have been powerless before those two. No one in the entire Time Patrol can stop them now, probably not even Lord Beerus himself either. It's over, you've lost. There's no way the Time Patrol can stop them now.

Ya know, If Trunks was smart (clearly that is not the case), he would go in one of two directions.
>1. Wish for immortality and train his ass off with the best of the best inside whatever Hyperbolic Time Chamber equivalent the SKoT has available.
Or
>2. Stop trying to compete with Chaya and Ace in terms of powerlevel entirely. Abuse things like magic and technology as much as possible.
>>
>>5283472
>if
HA. He did have a backup plan, and was ready to try for it, but the Mafuba bottle made by Roshi wouldn't have held either of them for long enough to retreat to the safety of the Time Nest. Pre-ToP Vegeta was able to destroy the much sturdier Hyperbolic Time Chamber by just powering up before he even got Blue Evolution.
>>
Don't worry guys, we can totally still catch up to Future Chaya. And day now......
>>
>>5283482
Look. At this point, it's not something that's going to happen in our lifetime. Besides, the circumstances that lead to Future Chaya getting that strong are harrowing to say the least.
>>

Really interested to eventually see how much Berserker God allows us to bridge the gap in basic powerlevel.

(Also, really enjoyed the epilogue, by the way. Makes me look forward to Karn's fight with Beerus, and pulling out Berserker God against him).

Thanks everyone for not making fun of how I fucked up the title by not remembering it.

>>5283482
Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? Not at all.
>>5283486
Not to mention your obligations. With a whole large family you spend time with and raise, you won't catch her.
>>5283488
If you go full Jiren it's possible. Not likely, but possible.
>>5283498
It is a massively powerful form, I'll say that much. And glad to hear, I'm excited as well. Have a whole lot of epilogues/intermissions to get to first, which brings up a good point:

QM QUESTION

Before Chaya's fight with Tanya, should we have an epilogue or intermission explaining her powers, or should that wait until after their battle?
>>
>>5283482
I'm so damn happy and proud of our fuckin girl that I'd be fine not meeting her in power level in the foreseeable future. She's fuckin POWERFUL DUDE, YEAAAH!
>>
>>5283507
re: Tanya's powerset. Nah, leave it a mystery until afterwards. That way we'll be just as surprised as Chaya during the fight.
>>
>>5283507
Leave Tanya's new gimmicks a mystery until the fight itself.
>>
>>5283508
She's certainly embraced the Karn of her timeline's ideals of strength.
>>5283513
Not quite her powerset, but HOW her new power stolen with the Networked 101 works.
>>5283518
You know a little bit of what she can do. But I'll say this much, Tanya has discovered a whole lot more to it than you've seen so far. And maybe a small spoiler for her whole show's underlying plot.

>>5283482
>>5283486
Fuck are you niggas talkin about? We can one-shot literally anyone in the entire multiverse. I'd like to see Future Chaya or Ace do that.
Face it, upgraded Dragon Force is absolutely, overwhelmingly powerful. We don't need a powerlevel that makes everyone in existence immediately stain their pants the moment they feel it - we have something better. A "delete this" button we can use at any time, which ignores how strong the enemy is or whatever bullshit abilities they might use to try to "get over" the damage.
>>
>>5283707
>We can one-shot literally anyone in the entire multiverse
If we can hit them, yes.
If the gap is too large however, we're not hitting shit without help.
Punching above your weight class only works if you don't get hit first.
>>
>>5283486
Who decided our growth stopped when we were no longer alive? Sounds a bit like quitting to me.

Which honestly would be pretty great if Karn ever died and we did a POV switch to one of the kids. Karn dies and gets sent to Hell, and since every single villain has a body for some fucking dumb reason in Hell they can conceivably still train like the virtuous souls can do. So at some point down the line with some magic bullshit they get some visitation hours and they expect dad to be chilling and enjoying retirement and he's still able to beat their asses raw despite their ever growing strength because he never stopped either. Even if he slowed it down to talk with all the other dead Saiyans and relax with Meloka. It'll feel like being young again.
>>
24 hours to go until this episode continues! Let’s gooooo!

>>5283707
DDF is extremely powerful, and an excellent ally. And while it isn’t a guarenteed kill, once it’s got you survival is slim odds at best.
>>5283711
>Punching above your weight class only works if you don't get hit first.
Or if you can take the hits until you get your chance to counterattack
>>5283779
Well Tatsu certainly hasn’t stopped fighting, granted he’s only been dead for a little while. But you’re implying a whole awful lot about Karn STAYING dead and/or in hell. There are many factions who’d want his soul, and not all of them benevolent.
>>
>>5284071
>There are many factions who’d want his soul, and not all of them benevolent.
I believe that.
I can totally see Quan Chi dropping by to make Karn an offer once he hears about his passing.
Then there's the Black Lanterns, I can guarantee that they'd kill to have Karn on their team.
Any number of parties might just use the fruit of the Tree of Might to reanimate Karn's remains. If it worked for literal fossils, it should work on the recently deceased.
Then there's the distant hope that Towa would come and break Karn out of Hell and work on a way to resurrect him.
This is all assuming that Karn wouldn't be able to overpower the people looking over the afterlife anyways and break out on his own.
Hell, maybe he'd get the call to deal with Janemba and slip away before the barrier between realms is sealed.
>>
If Future chaya is so dam overpowered, why is there a need for karn? can't he just ask her to deal with powerful enemies and live a normal saiyan life? also Grandragon, when Future chaya gets pregnant, will her powerleveling stop or will it keep increasing?
>>
>>5284464
What happens when a couple fucks in SSJ4 and the lady maintains it the entire pregnancy, Oozaru baby or SSJ4 baby?

Even god fears these questions.
>>
>>5284464
>can't he just ask her to deal with powerful enemies and live a normal saiyan life?
>a normal saiyan life
Oh, foolish Anon...
>>
>>5284093
Janemba can only happen after Buu is killed, else he’d be a LOT weaker. But many groups would seek Karn’s soul.
>>5284464
Why indeed. Remember, Ace has already matched her in raw strength. There is a reason Mechikabura wants you, other than SKoT NOT getting you. Part of that reason stems from a lie Mechikabura told you about his own powers.
As for Future Chaya, she won’t get pregnant accidentally. Towa has seen to that herself with the opposite of the spell she put on herselt years ago.
>>5284527
>>5284527
Well SS3 and Berserker made a (so far seemingly-normal) Super Saiyan. So who knows? But if Future Chaya does become pregnant, Towa will NOT allow her to fight. She saw what happened to Meloka
>>
>>5284729
That brings up an interesting topic.
I hope we can avoid killing Buu and let him stay on New Salda.
He has the potential to not just become an asset for Frieza, but a stalwart ally and friend.
Then there's the fact that Buu being under Karn and Frieza's protection would infuriate Shin to no end, which is always a plus.
>>
>>5284822
As much fun as having a Buu Buddy would be, King Cold absolutrly DESPISES that creature, and tried his best to pass that one to his children (I will never let Cooler live that utter BITCHING down). Just saying, we'd need a really good reason not to put Buu down with DDF like we did with other wads of bothersome bubblegum.
>>
>>5284822
Theoretically it's possible. But with Cold, Cooler, and Freeza all hellbent on erasing Buu with extreme prejudice, it is far from likely.
>>5284888
A really good reason indeed. Not simply "He's a good punching bag" or "I can control him", Cold will not tolerate such things. Kars and Chilli would have to be the ones to play a role in preserving Majin Buu, were it to happen.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After destroying the invading machines, before acting on his rage Karn telepathically called King Vegeta to see how the ruler of New Salda wanted to handle this incident. Where King Vegeta revealed that he KNEW this attack was coming! Not only did he know, but the whole thing was part of a promotion Vox had planned for Chaya's upcoming. After Chaya departed back to Dreadzone, Karn then took Leyas, Sarada, Broly and Nappa on a visit to King Vegeta. Which turned into Nappa dragging him from his office outside for a spar, everyone pushing themselves to greater heights. Karn took on his Super Saiyan 3 form with the help of his Soulstone against King Vegeta's Primal form, while Broly ascended to an Emerald Oozaru and battled the other super Oozaru of Leyas, Sarada, and Nappa all at once. After a tremendous battle in which Vegeta sent Karn flying, they teamed up to handle the rampaging Broly. Mid battle Karn, who'd pushed his body beyond his limits passed out and got a dire warning from Mechikabura before reigniting King Vegeta's desire to be not the strongest Saiyan, but THE strongest. And as we rejoin Karn it is the day after, nothing else remarkable having happened after the battle with Vegeta.

“Damn. My chest still hurts.” you mutter to yourself, putting your hand over your sternum where you'd felt something snap the day before during your fights with Vegeta and then Broly. Caulifla had healed all of everyone's injuries once the sparring was over, but the pain there had remained. You hadn't mentioned anything at the time, telling your daughter all was well, but for it to still be hurting even after her healing and a night's rest is worrying.
“Right here?” Meloka asks you suddenly, reaching around from behind and jabbing square into the worst of the pain with a fingertip. You wince a bit as the pain doubles, your wife immediately pulling her hand back. “Knew it.”

“Knew what?” you ask her, turning around and still holding onto the training suit you were about to put on to see Meloka smirking at you.
“That your form is just like my Super Saiyan Three.” she says, poking the same spot on her chest. “When it uses too much power and your body forcibly reverts, it felt almost like something snapped in you, didn't it?”
“Yeah.” you reply, Meloka giving you a small smile.
“It'll hurt for a few days, but it's no reason to look so down.” she continues, expression hardening. “I've known you long enough to recognize when something's wrong. You've been looking worried about something since yesterday. Did losing to King Vegeta really upset you that much?”

“Well...” you start, unsure what to say. Sure, that loss had stung your pride a bit, and while you could make all sorts of excuses, at the end of the day you still lost. Then there is the disturbing revelation Mechikabura had given you about your daughter's upcoming loss, and how you and you alone will decide the course of her life. Which still weighs heavily on your mind, what if you do or say something wrong and it messes her up?

Well? What do you tell Meloka?
>Tell her about what you learned from Mechikabura regarding Chaya's future, and see what she thinks
>Don't mention what Mechikabura said, and ask her how she'd take losing to a former student like that

"No, it wasn't about that fight. But what happened after." you say to her after a few moments' thought. "I spoke with him again."
"Him?" she asks curiously, not understanding what you mean. “Him who?”
“Mechikabura.” you say telepathically, closing your eyes and sighing out. “He told me something worrying about Chaya.”
“What did he say?” she asks, also switching to telepathy as she sees the worry on your face. “Karn, what happened?”

“He warned me that, because of her arrogance, she's going to lose that big fight she has coming up.” you tell her, Meloka tilting her head in confusion. “And apparently, how I handle this will set the entire course of Chaya's life from that point forward. Her whole future will be decided by how I handle this.”
“Her entire future? By this?” Meloka asks, shaking her head. “That doesn't make any sense.”
“I know, one fight against her friend can change the entire course of her life? Its worrying though.” you say. “He did try and warn me something about intentions, but I woke back up before he could finish talking. I'm worried about Chaya.”
“She may be a bit arrogant, but she'll be fine.” your wife says aloud, floating up and kissing you once. “Maybe a loss will be good for her, and she'll abandon all that 'Champion' nonsense and come back home.”

“Maybe.” you reply, and go back to getting dressed. But as you go through your day, training focus with Broly, sparring the kids, teaching your students and spending a bit of time on your own training, your thoughts never stray far from your daughter Chaya. So as the day winds down, you decide to reach out to her telepathically and see what she's doing. “Hey kiddo. Everything going okay?”
“Oh hey! Yeah, it's great!” she replies enthusiastically. “We found out where those rust buckets came from, and I'm on my way there now! I should arrive in two days, then I can get them back for attacking our home!”
“I see.” you reply, remembering that Vox didn't want Chaya to know those ancient looking machines were his creations. All leading to that fateful showdown.
“Is everything okay? You seem kinda worried about something.” she then says, you sensing her worry for you through the mental connection. “Nothing bad happened while I was gone, did it?”

“No no, we're fine.” you reply, quickly trying to dispel that worry you'd sensed from her. But Mechikabura's words still echo in your mind, and how the future course of your daughter's life is entirely up to you. If you wanted to say something BEFORE it gets to that point, this could be your chance.

Well? What do you do?
>Ask her if being the 'Champion' of Dreadzone is really what she wants to be, or if there's something else she wants to do with her life instead.

>Ask if she wants you there watching her fight when it goes down, or if she'd rather you not

“I was just thinking about your upcoming fight against those machines that attacked us.” you continue. “And I was wondering if you'd want me there watching your fight or not?”
“Yo-You'd really come watch?” she suddenly asks, you sensing her sudden excitement. “Really?”
“Of course I can.” you reply, the telepathic connection suddenly overwhelmed by a surge of happy emotions. “I can come cheer you on, or even give some advice. That is, if you want it.”
“That'd be great!” she answers excitedly. “If nothing goes wrong I'll be arriving at the metal planet in two days! I'll let you know as I'm about to go down, so you can watch!”
“Sounds good kiddo, let me know and I'll be there.” you tell her, Chaya's joy at having you come watch another fight of hers radiating through the link. But before you can say anything else, another mind touches yours.

“Karn? Can you, uhhh, hear me?” another being asks, and after a moment you recognize the unfamiliar mind.
“B7? What's going on?” you reply, Chaya's curiosity bleeding through the link.
“It's finished!” the Saldaman exclaims. “We just finished putting the final touches on the breathing suit! It's ready to go!”
“Suit?” Chaya asks you both, confused. “What suit?”
“Chaya? Oh, your father had a suit commissioned to go fight those Mindslayers in the sea.” B7 explains to her. “And it's finally finished.”
“You're gonna go kill those big dumb fish?” Chaya asks you. “Go get 'em. When I'm done, I wanna go fishing and not worry about any dumb sea monsters anymore.”
“Hahaha, I'll take care of them.” you tell her confidently. “I'll let you know how it goes.”
“Great! Oh, hey I gotta go. They got the sound studio ready, so I gotta go record something.” she says. “Go get 'em Daddy!”

Chaya then ends the mental link, leaving just you and B7 telepathically connected. And probably Raven as well, the empath able to somehow 'hear' others' telepathic conversations, but you haven't sensed anything from her yet.

“So, when do you want to take the suit and head out?” B7 asks you. “We can get you suited up in about five minutes, then you'll be ready to go to war.”

Well?

"Hold on, I should ask the Rak'kari how soon they can mobilize as well." you think to him. "Having them mount an all-out offensive as I go on the attack, we might be able to completely wipe these Mindslayers out."
"That sounds like a good idea." B7 replies, you ending the mental link for a moment as you reach out to Meloka.
“Just got the call that the suit's done.” you tell her, raising your right hand to your forehead as you expand your ki sense. “So, I'm going to check in with the Rak'kari real quick and see how long it'll take them to assemble a fighting force to exterminate those Mindslayers.”

“Okay, be careful.” she replies, then almost as an afterthought adds, “You'd better wash up after before bed, I don't want to smell seawater all night.”
“Hahaha, understood.” you reply, and with a lock on the strongest ki signatutre amongst the Rak'kari's largest settlement, use your Instant Transmission to teleport away. One second you're standing inside your home ship, the next find yourself at the bottom of the sea, right in front of a giant Mindslayer! “SHIT!”

The beast's mouth widens as it lunges towards you, clearly intending to devour you. But that beast doesn't know what it's in for. Drawing your right fist back, you focus your ki and fire off a powerful Scattershot directly into it's mouth! The dozens of energy orbs all detonate inside the beast, exploding it's head and turning it into a red cloud. Without it's head the beast goes limp, drifting down to the sandy ground dead.

“WHA-Oh, it is you.” a mind links to yours, you turning and seeing the glowing shell of the Rak'kari champion standing behind you. “Greetings, land dweller. You possess impeccable timing.”
“Thanks. And speaking of timing, my suit is ready.” you think to him. “So I am ready to wage war on those things. How soon can your people be ready to attack?”
“Immediately.” he replies, then after a moment adds. “However, if you were to give us around ten hours, we could bring our full might to bear.”
“Then I'll see you again in ten hours.” you reply, bringing your right hand back to your forehead and focusing on Meloka's ki vanish once more. Reappearing inside your ship's showers, Meloka tilts her head while washing Okira's hair. You give her a shallow nod, then extend your mind back out to B7. “Just spoke with their champion, we have ten hours until go time. So I'll see you guys then.”

“The Rak'kari will have their forces ready in about ten hours.” you tell Meloka, and begin taking your training suit off to bathe the day's training, Mindslayer blood and the ocean off of yourself. “So in the morning, I'll be meeting up with them and going on the attack. So I'll probably be busy for at least a few hours, if not the whole day.”
“Good. Kill those bastards.” she says flatly. “Once they're gone, we can let the kids swim and play in the seas without worrying too much about them. I'll take care of the kids for the morning.”
“Thanks hun.” you say, and walking over behind Meloka begin washing her back first. The rest of the evening passes uneventfully, you heading to bed with your wife and passing quickly to sleep. Then, almost as soon as you close your eyes, you feel yourself waking from a deep slumber. Today is the day.

“Today's the day.” you think to yourself, using your telekinesis to lift the sleeping form of Meloka off of your arm and slip out of bed. Setting her and Karn Jr both back down, you quickly dress yourself into a training suit. You then slip your Soulstone into your boot's hidden pocket, grab both weapons and sling them both onto your back before turning back to your wife, and give her a gentle kiss to the forehead while she's still asleep before leaving the room. However, as the door slides to a close behind you, your stomach grumbles a bit. “Getting something to eat first would probably be a good idea.”

You then turn and walk to the mess hall, sending off a quick telepathic message to B7 as you sit down at the table letting him know you're up and eating before heading over his way. He confirms the message, and tells you that Daiko's still asleep but that he'll try his best to wake him as Silver walks over.

“Something big going down today?” he asks, four of his assistants both bringing massive plates of what look to be some sort of fish out, each one larger than your arm is long, and setting them before the both of you.
“Yeah. Suit's finished, so I'm going to hunt down those Mindslayers.” you say, Silver raising a brow at this news as you take your first bite. “Mmm. This is good. So as soon as I'm done eating, I'll be heading out to eliminate those things for good.”
“When you do, would you mind hauling a few of those bodies back here for me?” he asks, and it's your turn to raise a brow. “What? A victory feast is always in style, isn't it?”
“Ha, well I can't argue that.” you reply, finishing the last of your breakfast. “Alright, I'll make some clean cuts and bring you a mess of the bigger ones back. We'll have a feast worth remembering once I'm done. Oh, and would you save a meal's worth too? Enough for a family meal when Chaya's back?”

“That I can.” he replies, offering you a hand. Which you take, shaking his hand before rising up from the table. “Go give 'em hell, General.”

You leave the mess hall behind, heading down the entrance ramp and taking several steps out onto your own little beach before taking a deep breath of the early morning air. The sun is barely half above the horizon, but you're feeling ready to go to war. However, you get the feeling that this coming battle will take quite a bit of time. Is there anything else you should do before getting suited up and ready for battling the Mindslayers?

Well?
>No distractions, get over to Daiko and B7 to get ready

“Time to get to work.” you mutter to yourself, spending a moment confirming you'd remained in your Ascended Berserker form overnight before blasting off the ground straight into the air. After a second's focus you lock onto B7's ki signature, then orienting on it on the mainland you take off. While flying through the air, you decide to reach out to your king, and let him know what's going on. So with a moment's thought you think out, and telepathically link yourself to King Vegeta. “Hey, are you up yet?”
“K-Karn? What's goin' on?” he asks, his mind clearly hazy with sleep. “Are we under attack?”
“No no no, don't worry. It's nothing bad” you reply confidently, relief immediately flooding through the psychic link. “I just wanted you to know that the suit's finished, and I'm heading off to exterminate those Mindslayers.”

“Oh, okay.” he answers groggily, but still thinking clearly enough to form coherent questions. “What about the Rak'kari? Do they know?”
“Already spoke with them yesterday, their forces should be assembled now.” you reply, spotting the tower and touching down outside the main door. “Once I'm suited up in this underwater breathing suit, I'll be joining them.”
“Understood.” King Vegeta answers, the connection growing a bit weaker. “If anything goes wrong, let me know.”

“I will.” you answer, ending the telepathic link as the door suddenly opens. And to your surprise, Daiko and B7 are just inside in the main lobby with several boxes. “Good morning Daiko, B7.”
“Ah, Karn. There you are.” the head scientist Daiko says, turning from the small cart they'd been loading and turning to you. “Excellent. Now we don't have to transport all of this, and can suit you up here. Are you ready?”
“Ready.” you reply, taking off your Wolf Knight Sword and Gravity Hammer. “Let's do this.”
“Excellent, excellent! Come B7, let's get the General suited up for war!” Daiko exclaims, the two of them unloading the boxes and opening them. They quickly open them all, drawing out the suit and all of it's parts. “Now Karn, let's get you into uniform. Get out of that training suit, and into this improved underwater skintight suit.”

You comply, stripping down and quickly donning their new black suit. It feels thicker than your usual skintights, and as you slip back into your boots look over at him curiously.

“Do you feel the difference? I did make this one a little thicker.” he tells you as you pull the material up over your head. It covers your entire head except for your face, and his voice is immediately deafened. “I worked to integrate the material of your usual armor into the suit's weave, reinforcing it further against any potential bites.”

“That was a good idea.” you say, moving your arms a bit and getting used to how it moves. It slows you down by maybe a fraction of a second at most, but the water itself will slow your body down by more once you're down there. “Last thing I want is getting taken out of the fight early by a lucky bite.”
“I knew you'd appreciate the modification.” Daiko says happily, B7 holding the rebreather front tank in his arms and walking up. “Now, you'll have at most one hour once I flip the switch on this before you'll need to resurface, and teleport back to us so we can refill the tank.”

As he says this he gestures to a box filled with of some sort of metal tanks. There are twelve tanks in total, all stacked upright and each one the size of your fist.

“You'll have twelve hours of combat total, before we're completely out of these prepared air tanks.” Daiko continues, then smirks. “But I doubt that you'll need that much. It's not like you're going up against a Covenant invasion force again or anything.”

And suddenly you find yourself feeling a lot less confident that this will be a quick, easy extermination. You're suited up the rest of the way in under a minute, Daiko holding the mask connected to the suit's breathing apparatus on the front. You nod to him, the head scientist putting it up and over your face. You take a deep breath, and taste the slightly off-tasting air as it fills your lungs. It's still a bit more difficult to breathe in this suit than without it, but that just means you'll have to focus a little more on your breathing while fighting. B7 holds out both your hammer and sword to you as Daiko continues talking.

“You're ready, General. We'll hold onto your normal gear until it's over.” he says, taking a step back and raising his voice a bit so you can hear him a little more clearly. “Go forth! And conqueror!”

Well, what now?

if we wanna take advantage of shockwaves we can just use ki blasts, right?
I think having the blast each time we swing would be a downside anyways, it would suck if it traveled more than expected and rattled our allies, too

As the others have said, prob not a good idea to go throwing out the shockwaves from the hammer without testing how differently they propagate, but not harm in bringing it along.

Even if we bring the hammer, we don't necessarily need to use it if it's not safe to do so at the time.

We can save it for times when we are on our own, fighting the fishies without our allies around.

Ki blasts won't be as viable if we want to keep energy body upright.

Reaching out to B7, you take your Gravity Hammer in your left hand, and draw your blade from its sheath with your right hand. He sees this and nods, setting the empty sheath atop your discarded training suit as you head towards the door. It opens and you walk out into the open air, taking another deep breath of the odd-tasting air. You take a couple steps then break into a run, building a bit of momentum before blasting off into the sky. Leaving the research facility behind you soar through the air back towards the coast, then within a few seconds are flying out over the open ocean. Extending your ki sense, you quickly find the Rak'kari force heading out away from their settlement towards deeper waters. You fly out over their force, then dive down into the sea. Best to get ahead of them, as they might not recognize you like this.

You fly down, splashing down into the sea and rapidly descend towards the marching columns. But as you drop you sense it, more than a dozen powerful energy signatures are rapidly approaching the column! Time to do what you do best! You focus on the largest cluster of ki signatures, and dash down directly towards the strongest of them. You close in, focusing on the strongest and begin focusing your ki into your Energy Body as you see the creatures swimming towards the Rak'kari. They don't see you yet, which gives you the perfect opening. Flying down, you swing the Wolf Knight Sword down directly at the beast's neck. It never saw you coming, your sword cleaving it's neck clean in two. Immediately the rest of the Mindslayers turn, focused entirely on you. Then, as one, they all unleash their mind-scrambling screams.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHTinEcgLn0

As their psychic attack hits, your hearing is immediately replaced by a teeth-grittingly intense ringing. But clenching your jaw, you power through, and dash directly at the next one. Before it's even stopped screeching you swing the Gravity Hammer down in an overhead swing, the heavy end smashing directly into it's face. And that's when you learn something else about the formerly-Covenant weapon.

KAAABOOOOOOOOOOM

The instant your weapon strikes the beast, it unleashes it's terrible concussive shock wave. But as powerful as the weapon is on land, under water it's concussive effects are significantly magnified. The shock wave slams into you, actually pushing you back from the center of the impact. More importantly, however, is the much greater damage it does to your target, the shock waves shredding the beast's head and turning it into a cloud of misty red blood. You grin, realizing that your hammer is a bit more powerful down here than you'd thought. This could be fun.

“Hrrraaaa!” you exclaim, voice muffled by the new suit as you swing the Wolf Knight Sword horizontally behind you. Your blade cuts through the water, sending a wave out that crashes into another Mindslayer. The underwater pulse stops the approaching beast, you then rushing in and thrusting the ancient sword up from under it's jaw and piercing through it's skull. It's ki vanishes almost immediately, you jerking it free then turning towards the remaining beasts. But before you can attack, suddenly several shots of unfamiliar energy shooting up and blasting the beasts. Who all cry out in pain, you turning and seeing the Rak'Kari are approaching!

With the opening they've given you, you dash in and swing your hammer uppercut up into another's skull, misting it with the heart-stopping concussive wave. Divided on two fronts the rest are cleaned up rapidly, and once they're all dead their strongest approaches.

“Are you him? Karn?” he asks, you nodding before answering.
“This is it.” you tell him. “This suit will give me an hour at a time to fight down here before I have to retreat, and refill it.”
“Good. And even better, you brought the key as well.” the Rak'kari champion says, his body glowing in places with his unfamiliar power. You then sense even more Mindslayers approaching, still a ways away but no doubt heading directly towards all of you. No doubt smelling the blood of their fallen kin.
“More are coming.” you think to him, turning towards the approaching monsters.
“How should we handle this?” he asks. “You and I can keep the vanguard, and my people can provide support to us from behind. Or you can hang back, and allow us to lead the charge while you flank them. Or, perhaps you have another strategy?”

Well? How will you begin your approach of the Abyss?
>Keep the vanguard for yourself, and have the Rak'kari follow behind providing support after you've drawn their attention
>Keep the vanguard with yourself and the Rak'kari champion while his people support you both
>Let the Rak'kari lead the charge, and flank the monsters once they're engaged

"I'll keep the vanguard myself and draw their attention to me." you think to the glowing champion, emerald aura glowing around your suit like a second skin. "Once I have their attention, you and your people can attack to kill them. Trap them between myself and your people's attacks, and they won't last long."
"I agree. It is a good plan.” the Rak'kari's champion tells you telepathically, raising its right claw in what you take to be a sort of salute. “Good hunting, land-dweller."
"Good hunting." you reply, mirroring his raised claw salute with your sword before turning back towards the approaching sea monsters. You then take another deep breath of the suit's odd-tasting air, then blast off towards the dozen approaching Mindslayers. And despite your ears still ringing, you move without hesitation. If you can power through today, you'll never have to endure their psychic attacks ever again.

“HRRAAAA!” you roar, or at least think you do since you can't hear anything as you charge into striking range of the closest monster. It opens its mouth wide, preparing to hit you with it's attack, but you're quicker. Before it can scream, you swing your heavy hammer into the beast's mouth. The hammer's head slams into the back of it's mouth, and unleashes it's concussive blast once more. The beast's head vanishes into red mist, the shock waves again slamming into your Energy Body. Which absorbs the impact for the breathing apparatus, thankfully, else this mission would come to an end rather quick. The other beasts you can see roar out, and once more you're hit with their psychic assault.

But you barely feel it, charging through the screech to the next-closest and charge into the beast's mouth to stab your blade up into it's head. Then with a roar twist, positioning the blade above your shoulder as you bend forward, cutting it's head in half from the middle. Blood rapidly spreads from the wound, covering you in blood as you swim out of it's mouth towards the next one. Which also falls to your concussive hammer smash before the Rak'kari close in and begin shooting the rest down. You notice after killing another two that they focus all their firepower on one at a time, the hundreds of energy orb-like projectiles cutting each one down in seconds. And since you can't sense their attacks, you can only assume they're some sort of magical energy? Which is good to know, since you won't be able to sense such energy and evade if they fire too close to you.

“This is going too easily.” you think to yourself. And then, almost as you have the thought, you sense something else, something unfamiliar approaching. No, a LOT of something unfamiliar approaching.

At the edge of your senses, you suddenly sense something else. It's not a Rak'kari, or a Mindslayer; whatever it is the creature is something far weaker than any of them. But as you focus on that ki, you begin sensing more of them. A LOT more. Easily thousands of the tiny ki signatures are approaching, moving far faster than the Mindslayers were moments ago. Whatever's approaching are moving with a purpose, and heading directly for you all. Or more accurately, towards you specifically. The presumably tiny beings, judging from their powerlevels, are all rushing directly towards you. Their ki feels familiar somehow, as if you've sensed them before, when suddenly it hits you. You did sense these things before, and in the water as well!

“We have more of those froggy creatures approaching.” you think to the Rak'kari champion, then orient yourself on the approaching mob. “Hundreds, no. Easily over a thousand of them are approaching!”
“Prepare yourself.” comes the champion's reply. “With that many, there will be casualties.”
“We'll see about that.” you say confidently, ending the mental link and putting a bit more distance between yourself and the crab-like people behind you. There may be a lot of these things, but they don't necessarily have the power to actually hurt you through your Energy Body. So as long as you maintain it, you'll be fine. Right?

As you have the thought, you remember how close one of them had come to fully piercing your armored ki and impaling you. Just because they're weak doesn't mean they can't kill even you if you're careless. And then you see a massive shape begin to materialize out of the gloom, only to realize that it isn't a solid shape. But a shape formed by THOUSANDS of the tiny frog-like Abyssal monsters all swimming towards you in some sort of formation. Which means they're intelligent enough to have tactics, which is even more worrisome.

But how do you handle these bite-size monsters?
>Rush in and attack indiscriminately with your hammer and sword, cause as much damage as you can while relying on your Energy Body to protect you
>Rush in and use your hammer's concussive blasts to liquefy the monsters, while defending against their weapons with your own blade
>Drop your Energy Body and weapons, break out your ki attacks and try to destroy as many of them as possible before they can actually close into striking range
>Drop the hammer and Energy Body, then focus your ki into the blade to cut the horde of monsters down before they can get close to you

"This could be a problem." you think to yourself, letting your body drop down to the sandy seafloor as you drop both weapons. Then with a sigh, you also begin powering down your Energy Body. After all, you can't use your ki for attacking while holding that ability as well. Once it's down you start gathering your ki, drawing it into both of your giant hands. With so many approaching enemy ki signatures, you'll have to go for area damage instead of pinpoint strikes. So you create a pair of Scattershots, and draw your right arm back. Then you unleash your power with a roar, slinging the orb towards the approaching horde. “HRRAAAAAA!!”

You pitch the shining emerald orb forward, it streaking towards the approaching frog-like monsters. Then as it closes in, your orb splits into hundreds of smaller orbs.

“RwlRwlRwlRwlRwlRwl!!” the monsters cry out, trying to scatter away from your Scattershot. But their fellows block them, their bodies packed just too closely to easily maneuver away from your opening salvo. The Scattershot orbs all detonate near-simultaneously, their tiny ki signatures vanishing by the score with each explosion. Then before they can recover, you pitch your left hand's orb as well. Your second Scattershot is just as devastating as the first, carving a swath even deeper into the approaching horde's numbers as it detonates as well. Your two attacks barely make a dent in the massive horde's numbers, but with that opening salvo you did manage to stall their unchecked advance.

“Let's see how you like this. Death Slash!” you mutter to yourself, drawing your right hand back and focusing your ki into your fingertips. Slashing your right arm downwards from over your left shoulder to below your waist on your right, you launch a wide, slashing blade of ki from your fingertip towards the frog-like monsters. Several closest to you see the approaching blade and evade, but the mass of froggy soldiers aren't able to move so efficiently. Your blade cuts through their forces, severing limbs and even bisecting those unfortunate enough to get caught by your attack. However, from what you sense, despite your Death Slash's blade going entirely through the approaching army, it did less damage than either Scattershot. Those towards the rear were all easily able to dodge it, your blade passing harmlessly through the rear third of the enemy forces. You need another attack, something even stronger than your normal Scattershot.

“Why not?” you mutter, smirking as you begin gathering your ki into both hands once more. If you need a stronger Scattershot, then now's the time to make it! Channeling your energy into a pair of orbs the size of your torso, you then twist to your right, slamming them together. You compress the energies together, mixing and merging them into a single Scattershot orb more powerful than any you've made before. Then, with all your power you throw your arms forward, launching the attack. “HAAAA!”

The power-packed emerald orb fires out from between your hands even faster than a Death Beam, streaking directly towards the mass of creatures. Who all scream their “RwlRwlRwlRwl!” cry as they continue charging towards you. Your energy orb smacks directly into one of them, obliterating it as it continues flying deeper into the mass of frog-like beings.

“Huh?” you ask, confused as the orb stays solid instead of breaking apart into hundreds of the explosive orbs. “Why didn't it explo-?”

Then before you can finish your question, it stops. This 'supercharged' Scattershot orb suddenly stops, somewhere near the center of the mass of monsters. Then as it stops, it begins firing off the smaller Scattershot orbs out in all directions! The power-packed orb keeps firing off thousands of orbs, each one exploding upon contact with a froggy enemy. Your suped-up attack keeps firing explosive orbs for more than twenty seconds before it expends itself, easily erasing the majority of the frog-like assailants. As you take a deep breath, you see and sense the remaining creatures scatter. They quit charging towards you and the Rak'kari, instead fleeing back towards whence they came.

“Well, that was certainly something.” you say, reaching down and picking your weapons back up. “Now, let's finish this.”

Yes, you’ve done it before. Even with a Super Barrier. First when Chaya was fighting at Dreadzone, if I recall correctly. But to do both, one right after another, would burn an awful lot of power.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I’m 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don’t smoke, but I occasionally drink. I’m in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning.

I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I’m trying to explain that I’m a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn’t lose to anyone.

Not gonna lie, i was surprised with Elden Ring at like 5pm Sunday from my brother and spent 14 hours on it yesterday. So, I didn’t get any work done on this week’s epilogue. However, I’m getting the writing done today through Thursday. In the meantime, how are you all enjoying this arc so far? Ready to finish the fight with the Mindslayers, and see what else lurks even deeper below? Excited for the upcoming Chaya fight, and it’s aftermath? What other upcoming events that you know of(or are hoping for) that you’re ready to see before the Battle of Gods begins?

I beat the goddamn bosses and I did it my way goddamnit. Besides, the health ALSO helps mitigate the risks of fighting dishonorable shitheads in PvP.
I swear to God, it's like nobody online has ever heard of a one-on-one. I go in butt naked with caestus and I get jumped by a fucking arch wizard and a blood drenched samurai more often than not.

I will admit, those are good questions to ask. At the end of the day, I just want to see her happy and capable.

It might not even be until after we deal with Buu, but I swear on my paternal grandfather's grave that I will put my entire being into making that match happen.

Elden ring is ultimately designed with at least 40 vigor in mind. You say that "git gud" is the way now, but when common overworld enemies start oneshotting you, you're going to say "damn i wish i had more vigor".
Besides, the chad's way is to get GOOD VIGOR, BEEFY ARMOR, the GREATSWORD, and two-hand that shit.
You'll be staggering the shit out of even bosses with every swing, tanking through everything they dish out, and making Guts proud.

Gotta learn those patterns. Vigor is for pvp only.
Take a halberd +8 looted off an npc invader in one hand, a catalyst in the other while screaming “Fuck you Baltimore” from the rooftops is how I’m going in so far.
The Guts build is my pvp from the first DS, and 2v1d gank-spanked giant dad invaders in the forest. Good times.

Ah yes, Caelid. Or as some people call it, Brazil.
That shit's early-midgame, son.
Now grab yourself a bleed weapon and go up to the tail of the BIGGEST dragon in that area with a hundred dragons - there should be a fort just behind it. Spend five minutes bleeding the big dragon to death. Pop an item to increase the amount of souls you earn right before it dies. Finish it off and acquire a MASSIVE amount of runes to spend. You're gonna need it.

Also, there's multiple Whetstone Knives, each giving you specific affinities to put on a weapon.

Yup. Don't worry about it too much for now.
I say just keep going until you run up into a wall, then start exploring. Rinse and Repeat.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 175 Epilogue-

AGE 750, FREEZA'S SPACESHIP

“How do I keep ending up in situations like this?” you mutter to yourself, shaking your head in the near-total darkness. Earlier today you'd been showing off your abilities to the single strongest being in the universe, Lord Freeza, and now you're here hiding out in the control room of his ship while keeping your Lurk and Enemy Detection skills active to keep anything or anyone from sneaking up on you. Combined with your Farsight skill, which improved your night vision to the point you can see the outlines and shapes of things is near-total darkness, it makes you the perfect spy. But why does Freeza need a spy on his own ship? You'd asked him this question hours ago, but his answer had left you even more worried.

“My brother has been hunting down members of two former enemy empires.” Freeza had explained after the evening meal, and your teammates had gone off to their rooms. “But every time he arrives at a discovered facility, they've already abandoned the planet. Only his first raid was successful, and for that one Father had given the order directly to his crew in person.”
“Your father, King Cold?” you'd asked for clarification, Freeza nodding to you before he continues.
“But every time since, the order has been issued through our secret back channels that no one other than myself, Father, and Cooler have access to. Oh, and Arctus of course.”
“Arctus?” you'd asked, having been unfamiliar with the name. “Who's that?”
“Our cousin, he's the one who helped build the SpaceNet after all.” Freeza says, then shaking his head adds. “But that's the damnedest part. We aren't sure how information could be getting leaked. Unless...”

“Someone on the inside.” you'd whispered, realization dawning. Freeza nods, a very malicious grin on his face. “You think there's a traitor.”
“My first thought was my good-for-nothing brother. After all, Babidi had gotten him with mind control before.” the emperor said, which opened about a hundred different questions. Each more troubling than the last. But at least one was a positive.
“So, you'd don't think he did it?” you ask, Freeza shaking his head. “Can I ask why? No offense, but Cooler DOES seem the type to do that, just to screw you over.”

“Heh. But no, not after Father was through with his....Reeducation.” the emperor says, his implications giving you a shiver up your spine you try to avoid showing. “And I doubt it to be Arctus or Father either. He may be a useless drunk, but Arctus doesn't enjoy conflict. It's one of the reasons he started drinking. Father wouldn't pointlessly extend this as some sort of training exercise either, not with the damage they've done. With the war over, his focus is now exclusively on hunting down that wizard Babidi and ensuring that Majin Buu remains sealed away forever. No, it must be someone on either my ship, or my brother's stealing this information and somehow transmitting it to the enemy undetected.”

Which all made sense to you, if it wasn't them then it would have to be someone else. But you didn't see how that was YOUR problem yet.

“And this is where you come in.” he'd said. “With your particular skill set, I want you watching over this room tonight. With your telepathy let me know immediately the instant you see , and do your best to apprehend them until I arrive.”
“Wait, you want me to stop them?” you'd asked, shocked. “You do know my powerlevel is nothing compared to even your soldiers, right?”
“I don't want you to fight them.” he says, sounding far too confident in your abilities. “But with your stealth skills able to hide from both my scouter and ki sense, you'll be able to avoid the notice of any of my subordinates. Now, any questions?”

“This sucks.” you mutter, shivering a bit and clutching your cloak a bit tighter around you. It's been hours now since the lights have gone off, your Lurk having remained activated this entire time. It's lonely, boring work, but you'll take it like this over yet another life-or-death struggle. But nothing passes the time quite like complaining. “I almost wish something interesting would happen.”

Which is, of course, when the only doorway suddenly opens. Because of course it would. You'd think after this much time, you would have learned not to raise flags like this.

“Gotta move quick.” you hear the figure mutter, not turning the lights on and walking directly over to the emperor's private terminal. They don't even look around, clearly confident that the room's empty. “Those newcomers could be trouble.”

The sneak's voice is unfamiliar, which means it's not Zarbon, Dodoria, or one of the Ginyu Force. So a normal soldier then. Which is good news, and this one probably can't blitz you before you can blink the instant you move. You won't be able to beat them in a fight, but should be able to subdue them long enough for Freeza to arrive and take care of them. Probably. Hopefully.

“Lord Freeza, we got one.” you think, telepathically reaching out to the Emperor of the Universe Freeza. You'd tested that skill extensively before he had left you in this room hours ago, just to make sure it would work and not be left alone with someone desperate to not get caught. Everyone knows that death is the lightest sentence one can possibly get for treason when working for Freeza's family. “Someone's sneaking in here, lights off and heading directly for your terminal.”
“I'll be there in two minutes.” he answers, his 'voice' so loud in your ear that you flinch at the volume. For a second you're sure the figure would have heard it, and your heart rate triples, but you settle down after a few moments as Freeza continues 'talking' to you. “Make sure they can't leave until I return.”

“I'll do my best.” you reply, then ending the mental link take a stealthy deep breath. You can do this.

“There we go.” the figure says, turning the monitor on and letting their fingers fly over the keys. Using that sound you quickly step through the shadows over to the door, not getting close enough to trigger the sensor and laying your right hand on the wall.
“Freeze.” you whisper, and begin channeling your magical power from your right hand. Icy magic pours forth from your hand, icy crystals quickly expand and grow out on the wall. After a couple seconds they grow out over the door, freezing the door completely shut. But you aren't done yet, you keep pouring more and more magic into the spell, coating the door in several inches of barely-luminous magical ice.

“No way! Cooler's headed there already?” you hear the man mutter, typing away. “I need to warn them, and have everyone move back to Cerula.”
“Cerula?” you think to yourself, and using the last of your Freeze spell to write that word on the wall at your fingertips. You'll PROBABLY remember it, but best not to take any chances. And now that you've blocked his escape, time to try and go for the capture. Thankfully you'd planned extensively while waiting in the dark, and your adamantite-infused rope is lying in wait. You'd laid it out on the ground under the terminal, stretching it out to the wall where you'd been lurking. “Time to go for it.”

Once again you sneak back over to the corner you'd started from, moving silently across the floor and gently lay your right hand atop the limp rope. You then channel your magic into it, and with another whisper unleash another Thief-class ability.

A small tip.
Stats like strength and dex won't impact your damage that much. Think of them as requirement barriers only and sink the rest of your runes into Weapon Upgrades and things like Endurance or Vigor, or the spellcasting stats if you're a nerd.
In Elden Ring, the VAST majority of your damage will come from how strong your weapon is. Don't be afraid to pick something you like and upgrade it as high as it'll go - you'll definitely come by plenty of upgrade materials the next time you come across a weapon you want.
I'd also recommend going with a normal weapon (upgradeable to +25 with normal smithing stones) over a unique weapon (upgradeable to +10 with somber smithing stones) unless the unique weapon has a REALLY good ash on it, because normal weapons end up having considerably more versatility since you can swap ashes on them. Gravitas is a particularly good one, in my opinion.

“Bind.” you whisper, the rope immediately snapping to life. It surges up around the warrior, wrapping around his torso while binding his arms to him.
“Wh-What the hell?!” he shouts, immediately thrashing about and trying to break the rope. And you realize almost immediately that your special rope that you'd spent a fortune on won't be able to hold him for long. Well, time to try plan b. “What is this?”
“Create Earth.” you say, ending your Lurk skill as you rise up and start rushing towards him. The guy turns and sees you, fear in his eyes for a moment as you throw your hand forward. “Wind Breath!”

You fire a burst of magical wind from your mouth, catching the dirt you'd created and sending it directly into his eyes.

“FUCK! What the hell?!” he exclaims, stumbling backwards and tripping over his own feet to fall onto his back. Then before he can get up, you one more use one of your Beginner Magic spells.
“Create Water!” you shout, not wasting any time and dousing the man. Who sputters and spits up the water, you then throwing both hands into the water and channeling everything you've got left. “FREEZE!”

Your magic freezes the water binding the guy in place, trapping him within his own personal iceberg. You use so much power that you begin feeling faint, falling over and collapsing onto your side.

“Heh. Not bad kid.” he says, sounding far too confident for your liking. That's when you realize that you hear something cracking. Then after a second, the iceberg shatters, and the man gets his feet under him to stand up. Then with a grunt he breaks free of your adamantite-infused rope, it shattering with an ear-splitting metal shearing noise. “That wasn't a bad attempt. But now you're gonna-”
“Get out of there, right now!” you hear someone suddenly say through the man's scouter. “Freeza's headed your way, hurry!”
“Damn.” he says, reaching down and grabbing you by the belt and throwing you over his shoulder. “Guess I'm taking you with me, and I'll kill you la...ter...? What the hell? You froze the door shut as well?!”
“Gotcha.” you say smugly, knowing full well that you're probably gonna die. “And even if you kill me, I'll just get brought back to life again.”
“Wait, again?” he asks, sounding genuinely curious. “You've died more than once?”
“Oh yeah, it's not that bad.” you reply casually, trying to keep him talking long enough for Freeza to show up and save you. “Nothing hurts anymore once you're dead. And you'll get to meet the cute goddess Eris as well. So if you don't mind sending me on over to have a nice chat with her, I'll leave you to deal with Freeza.”

“You think you're so smart, don't you?” the soldier asks, and immediately you feel like you've underestimated him. “All I have to tell Lord Freeza is that you attacked me, after I saw you sneaking into this room and tried to restrain you. Then, sadly, you were killed in the ensuing fight before I could interrogate you.”
“That's where you're wrong. I'll be brought back to life by my companions, and I can give my side of the story.” you reply, confident in your win. “And I already told Freeza everything.”

CRASH

The ice sealing the door shatters as Freeza kicks it down, the heavy door flying across the room and slamming into the metal wall. The soldier turns, terrified, seeing the outline of Freeza outlined by the light in the hallway.

“Well, well, well. Look what we have here.” Freeza says menacingly as the soldier hoists you up between the two of you, trying to use you as a shield. “Seems my little plan was a success. Well done, Kazuma. You apprehended them excellently.”
“He's not alone, he has a par-!” you start, then everything goes dark. You blink a couple times, and see the familiar face of your favorite goddess seated in the chair you'd first seen Aqua in. “Oh, hey Eris. How's everything up here in heaven?”
“Good evening, Kazuma.” she says, this meeting having lost the majesty and mystique after the first couple times. “I'm sorry this keeps happening to you.”

“It's all good, this time I died for a reason.” you say with a cocky smirk, putting your hands behind your head as you recount your cunning plan. “Dying in his service to give him that information will solidify my place in his circles. And once Aqua revives me, I'll be able to give him the full story, and ride out this win into the easy life!”
“You're very devious, Kazuma.” Eris says, idly scratching at her right cheek as a mischievous grin comes to her face. “I think you'll be able to help me out soon, if you'll hear me out.”
“I'll do it.” you say immediately, and without hesitation. Here's a REAL goddess asking you for your help, how could you refuse? Especially one this cute, even if she wears pads?
“Hey, Kazuma!” the useless Goddess's voice shouts, ruining the mood immediately. “I've already cast Resurrection, so get your butt back here!”
“I'll be seeing you soon, Kazuma. Rest up.” Eris says, giving you a gentle, heart-warming wave as you head through the glowing doorway that suddenly appeared. The bright light engulfs you, then you feel your eyes open. Back in the mortal realm once more, you open your eyes to see the face of that useless goddess, and once again regret not spending more time dead and with a REAL goddess like Eris. Why can't Aqua be more like her?

>“I think you'll be able to help me out soon, if you'll hear me out.”
Kazuma. Don't you fucking do it.
I don't want to have to kill you dead.
>>
>>5291420
What do you THINK she would possibly be planning?
>>
>>5291460
She wants Kazuma to do something about Karn and/or Chilli now that he's in close enough proximity to them via Frieza.
She probably won't send him to assassinate us personally, but if he tries ANYTHING against us on the Gods' behalf, he's getting DDF'd.
>>
>>5291474
She’s only ever after one thing in the mortal realm.
>>
>>5291500
Yeah I never watched or read Konosuba so that just flew right over my head.
>>
>>5291515
In ‘canon’, she took it upon herself to sneak down to the mortal realm, and steal back misused cheat items given to mortals who’d died before defeating the Demon King.
>>
>>5291518
he better not try and steal Caulifla dark souls shit.
>>
>>5291522
Why would she be after that? She could just have Gwyndolin ASK her for that stuff back.
>>
>>5291518
Well I'm not sure what cheat items would be out in space.
...is the Stand Knife a cheat item?
>>
>>5291600
Well they're going to be items related to beating the demon king. So I doubt there'll be many outside of isekai worlds. And stando powahs don't seem to feature all too often in isekais as far as I'm aware so probably not.

I'll just assume it's a holy hand grenade or a whoopee cushion she's looking for. The most devious and dangerous of things.
>>
>>5291600
No it isn’t, it was made from a meteorite that crashed on the San’shyuum homeworld.
>>5291631
Just think of all the potential earth-alikes out there, and how many broken, busted items could be given out? Hell, JUST on the Konosuba world there are:
Cursed Sword Gram(one shot sword), Aegis(a sentient suit of Orichalcum plate armor immune to all manner of magic), Calibur(Holy sword), a demon summoning/binding artifact, and a Body Change Amulet just to name a few that were still around by the time Kazuma arrived. Imagine what other crazy powerful artifacts and abilities(like the one guy who got literal CREATION MAGIC and made both the Mobile Fortress Destroyer and the Crimson Demon race) went to other worlds? Now, who most likely has a collection of such exceptionally rare and powerful leftover artifacts hidden away?
>>
>>5291712
>Stealing from King Cold
Now I KNOW Kazuma is smart enough to flat out refuse that job.
>>
>>5291712
>Now, who most likely has a collection of such exceptionally rare and powerful leftover artifacts hidden away?
DOCTOR DOOM, duh. Or John Constantine.

>>5291715
To be fair, he probably thinks Cold is a pussy. Because in canon he really isn't impressive. Of course I always thought the reason he showed up in second form when he did was not because that was his strongest or only form but because he thought it would be sufficient to deal with the enemies that nearly killed his son at full power. But everyone I ever talked to about it back then just said that was dumb.
>>
>>5291720
>To be fair, he probably thinks Cold is a pussy
He was implied to have a powerlevel comparable to Frieza in his fourth form, which was somewhere around 100-50 million at the time.
Even if he was a pussy, he'd be a pussy that could destroy the surface of a planet, if not the entire thing, on a whim.
>>
>>5291715
We’d like to hope so.
>>5291720
Fair enough, Constantine certainly enjoys having cheats on hand.
And no, he still knows Cold is a major threat if angered. But he has no idea what Eris could want from him.
>>5291729
Yes, Cold is powerful and not to be messed with if you’re only human. And not even on 23rd WMAT Yamcha and Krillin’s level.

Five years ago today, the first episode of Saiyan Conqueror Quest began. And here we are, 24 hours away from episode 175.
