Saiyans. Known throughout the universe as the warrior race, their power and combat prowess proved invaluable in the Covenant's downfall. And with the largest threat to the PTO destroyed, their remnants scattered across space, the universe has been united under one banner. Peace reigns across the galaxy, under the rule of Lord Freeza, Emperor of the Universe. But not all wish it to be this way. Remnants of those who were conquered are gathering in the shadows, increasing their power, and plotting their revenge. Despite this newfound age of peace swiftly spreading across the stars, there are those who would seek its end. Will you be able to stop them, or shall the universe once more be plunged into the fires of war?

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest! This story takes place in an alternate timeline within the greater Dragonball EU. You the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Berserker Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power, widely recognized across the universe as Freeza's close friend and confidant, not to mention his right hand man and General of his forces. From humble beginnings on the now long gone Planet Vegeta, Karn has become the pride of his people, and their greatest champion.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After joining up with the Rak'kari forces, Karn and their champion led the charge side-by-side against the Abyssal creatures. Fighting several dark monstrosities, and Caulifla joining Karn after he refilled his suit's air, the Abyss then sent a force of several hundred thousand of the frog-like Hydae at them. Karn and Caulifla stood against the horde, drawing them into an ambush by the Rak'kari. The battle ground on, Karn, Caulifla, and the Rak'kari slaughtering the Hydae before killing a hundred Mindslayers. But then a single Hydae rose, unleashing Abyssal magic to create a massive monstrosity. Karn is then grabbed by the beast, and somehow transported deep into a dark void. Falling through it, he then sensed something far below. And as we rejoin Karn, you have reached the rocky bottom of the darkness you'd been transported into, and found what lives there.

“What the-?” you start, jaw dropping a bit as your emerald aura's glow illuminates the tiny source of ki you'd sensed. But you immediately realize that your senses simply can't grasp this....THING you find yourself gazing upon. It looks like an odd spider of sorts, with a bulbous head quite similar to the head your daughter wore to swim through the seas uninhibited. It even has similar tentacles, but these drop forth from the lower side of its head like an abnormal beard, each one suddenly twitching in the light you created.

The monster seemingly gazes upon you, but you're not sure it can physically see since it doesn't have eyes. But you can definitely FEEL the intensity from this otherworldly abomination's notice, and have the feeling that this might actually be something beyond your capability to handle.

But what do you do?
>Remain still and ready, then focus on dodging any attacks this monster tries
>Remake your Energy Body, then rush and attack head on
>Reform your Energy Body then brace yourself for whatever it tries
>Summon Divine Dragon Force and charge, no matter how bizarre it is your Stand should still be able to kill it. Right?
>Try and telepathically reach out to Aku. After all, if you're in the Abyss as you assume, then surely you can reach out to him from here
>Summon Divine Dragon Force and use its ultimate ability, Wish, to teleport you out of here and back to your own world
>Immediately leap back to get distance while charging up your ki for one of your most powerful blasts to try and kill this monster before it decides to act

I see we're off to a spectacularly fucked up start. Where the fuck is Beerus in all of this, isn't it his job to vanquish the abyss? Or am I mixing that up with the Flood or smth?
>>
>>5316629
Beerus' job is to destroy any planets or entities deemed worthy such treatment.
I'm going to assume it's in an effort to maintain or raise the average powerlevel of the Universe.
He's definitely not in charge of the natural cycle of Light and Dark though, nor does he seem to have a dog in that race.

“Only one shot.” you think to yourself, then try reaching out with your telepathy to the only being you know who could possibly be down here. “AKU! If you can hear me, I really need your help!”

But there is no reply. You don't sense anything form him, indeed you can't sense his alien mind. You don't sense anyone, not even the titanic beast standing on its many limbs before you. If it weren't for its giant body, and the minuscule ki you can sense from it, you would think you were completely alone.

“Aku, I'm somewhere in YOUR Abyss!” you shout out telepathically. “If you don't get down here and help me, I swear when I see you again, I'll-!”

N̷̪̎̚O̶͚͑̕

You're interrupted by a sudden roar through your mind, similar to the psychic attacks of the Mindslayers but more than ten times as powerful. The mental blast actually knocks you off of your feet, sending you sliding on your back for a few feet before you roll backwards onto your feet, sliding to a stop.

“What the hell?” you mutter, clutching your head and staggering a step to your left as the mental attack destroyed your equilibrium. After a moment you regain your balance, shaking your head and returning your gaze to the being most likely responsible for this.

N̶͕͚̆O̶̯̬̽͆ ̸͈̒̈́M̶̨̈́̏Ȍ̴̝R̷̜̈́͘E̴̫͆ ̵͚̫̂͗T̷̘̦̎A̶̰̼͝L̶̨͇̊͝K̸̯̊͝

The creature blasts this thought directly into your mind, once again sending you backwards. But this time you were more prepared, keeping your feet beneath you as the psychic blast sends you sliding even further back. But as it does, this time you manage to notice something. Having been looking at the beast's head when it did this, you saw something bizarre: hundreds of orange eyes burst out from the being's oddly-shaped head, sprouting out from the crimson 'insides' of its head on all sides as it blasts you. Then as the 'thought' ends they all immediately retreat back inside that thing's head, you dropping down to all fours as your balance is destroyed once more.

“Haaah, haaaah haaah.” you pant, then to your surprise hear the sound of a liquid splashing by your head. Opening your eyes, you see a few drops of crimson, and reaching up with your right hand feel blood on that side of your face. Looking down at the ground see blood dripping from both sides, and with a quick pat confirm both of your ears are bleeding. Looks like this monster's psychic attack is far more dangerous than even a hundred Mindslayers.

But what do you do now?

“No choice then. Divine Dragon Force!” you say, summoning your Stand. The crimson-scaled dragon appears wrapped around your right arm, and immediately the massive creature moves. It surges forward, sweeping down at you with two of its right arms. Each hand swings directly at you, forcing you to jump directly over the first, then twist counterclockwise while backing up from the second, and avoid both giant hands. The second one smashes down onto the rocky ground, shattering the stone.

“GRRRROOOOOAAAAAAR!!” Divine Dragon Force bellows, roaring in challenge to the massive creature. As your Stand bellows, the massive creature raises up and swings down with all three left arms, palms-first. You dash towards the monster, flying under its giant hands and down between its legs, sliding to a stop on the rocky ground behind it.
“Its time. I have a wish.” you say to your Stand, who turns immediately towards you and nods once. “I wish to be out of this place, back to New Salda near Caulifla!”

“Very well.” your Stand says, eyes flashing with golden light. The light continues expanding from your Stand's eyes, the giant creature shrinking away from the blinding golden light as it rapidly expands out from Divine Dragon Force. The light consumes both of you, and as it does you lose all of your senses in rapid order. First goes sight, then touch, then hearing, and you're left drifting in a timeless blindingly-bright void. The brightness lasts for some amount of time, you're not sure quite how much, but as it ends your vision quickly returns. And as your other senses return in rapid order, you turn your gaze down to your Stand, who's already disintegrating. “It is done. Farewell, Karn.”

“Thank you.” you say, your Stand giving you a small smile just before it fully disappears. You clench your right fist, then immediately feel energy surging into you.
“THERE YOU ARE, MY CHAMPION.” booms New Salda's voice in your mind, the planet once more connecting its energy to you. Your body surges with might and awareness, turning immediately towards your daughter's blazing energy.
“Thanks.” you reply, turning your attention to your daughter as her body is emitting tremendous heat. You see her blazing as if she is fire itself, water vaporizing around her as she charges towards several abominations. You watch as she simply charges straight through the head of a giant creature similar to the one that had banished you, her flames burning through it despite being underwater. The giant monster doesn't even scream, disintegrating completely in only a few seconds as its distorted energy rapidly vanishes. But you see it isn't the only monster here now.

“RRRAAAAAAA!!” she roars, drawing her right arm back and unleashing a stream of fire from her hand so intense that you can't even look directly at it. But with New Salda's enhanced awareness, you can sense the destruction she unleashes. Sweeping her hand, her beam curves, cutting through hundreds of Hydae in-between the giant monstrosities. Her fire, burning so hot the water around it vaporizes, incinerates everything it touches and kills the monsters she strikes almost instantly. But they're the lucky ones. Her heat is so intense that even those only near her attack are burned, often severely and even sometimes fatally as she destroys more and more monsters. “DIE! DIE DIE DIE!!”

“Heh, not bad kiddo.” you say, and start looking around the corpses of the Mindslayers. It takes you a couple dozen seconds, but then you see the blade protruding from one's head. “Ah, there we go.”

You dash down, opening the deceased monster's mouth then draw your weapon back out of it. The Abyssal monster's blood doesn't even stick to the blade, you looking it over before reaching out telepathically towards the Rak'kari champion.

“What happened after I was taken?” you ask, and immediately sense the Rak'kari's strongest warrior's surprise.
“You-You've returned?” he asks, shocked. “How? I could sense your disappearance from this realm.”
“I'm back now, sorry it took so long.” you reply, glancing towards Caulifla as you sense her ending another two giant monstrosities. “Did I miss anything?”
“No, except for your spawn's rage.” he replies. “Once you vanished, she went mad and burst into flames. Her heat was so intense, it burned three of my men as well before she destroyed that monster that removed you.”

But then, you sense something else: your daughter's power suddenly plummets! You turn towards her, and see the flames around her are burning out! You watch as her body suddenly sags, the flames going out completely and revealing your daughter's naked form. She's suddenly bare of everything except for her necklace with the small pendant, it still glowing with faint purple light as her Stand caws out, folding itself into its small ball form.

“Cauli!” you say, immediately dashing over to her while raising your right hand to your forehead. Focusing your ki sense on B7's energy as you reach her, laying your left hand on her back, you take her with you via Instant Transmission. One second you both are in the ocean, and the next are kneeling in the sand, your daughter's unconscious form laying flat on her stomach. “B7! Take her to Dr. White immediately, and make sure she's okay!”

>>5316807
“Yes sir!” he replies, dashing over as Head Scientist Daiko looks over at you worriedly.
“What about you?” he asks, clearly concerned.
“I'm ending this.” you reply, refocusing on the Rak'kari champion's ki and teleporting back into the sea. You reappear beside the glowing crab-like man, who's people are all digging themselves up and out of the sand as the last of the Hydae flee the sight of the battlefield. “You ready?”

“Let us end this.” he replies, nodding once to you. You return the gesture, then turn back towards the Abyss. But as you do, you notice something gleaming in the sand. You swim over to it, and see the shaft of Caulifla's golden spear sticking out of what looks like glass, the weapon glowing cherry red as vaporized water bubbles around it. No doubt she'd been holding the weapon when she first transformed. You swim over to it, feeling the heat radiating off of the weapon as the entire ocean struggles to cool it down.

You reach out with your left hand towards her weapon, and with a thought grasp the weapon in your telekinetic grip. Mirroring your mental 'hand' with your left, you tear the weapon free of the scarred ground with a mighty crack. Swinging it back and forth through the water once, vaporizing a bit of water as the embedded weapon begins cooling even faster, the Rak'kari's champion suddenly thinks to you.

"Are you sure you will be taking that?" he asks, a note of worry in his mind. No doubt fearing that you'll transform into living flames as well.
“Of course, not leaving it here for my daughter to try and find whenever she wakes up.” you reply, keeping the weapon far out ahead of you as you start moving forward. “Now let's go, we've been stalled here for too long as it is.”
“Right.” the champion replies, matching your pace as his soldiers follow behind at a safe distance. While the two of you lead the charge, you focus on your expanded ki sense and try and get a feel for what other sorts of traps lay in wait between you and the Abyss. But, to your surprise, you feel nothing.

“Is this right?” you ask New Salda itself, as you sense nothing living between your army of Rak'kari and the Abyssal Trench itself. “Is there nothing there?”
“I CANNOT SENSE ANY LIFE TOO NEAR THAT PLACE.” comes the planetary avatar's response booming in your mind loud enough to make you wince. Especially after what you went through down below. “AS YOU APPROACH, OUR CONNECTION WILL FADE AS WELL.”
“Hopefully I'll be able to put an end to this, and either seal this up or destroy it.” you reply, and continue traveling. The rest of the journey is quiet, almost peaceful, but as you approach closer and closer to the Abyss, the staggering void in your New Salda-enhanced senses seemingly expanding.
“GOOD LUCK, MY CHAMPION.” New Salda suddenly says, and you feel your connection to the planet begin fading. “I CANNOT CONTINUE ON. YOU MUST GO, FIGHT, AND WIN.”

And with that your connection fully ends, and you find yourself standing on the edge of the Abyss. The difference in the sea floor is astonishing, as the sandy ocean floor suddenly just stops. And in its place is a hole, almost like a very wide slash in the ground itself where no light shines. The darkness almost seems to be radiating up and out of this void, you looking down into that nothing. And as you do, something in you changes.

Staring into the void, remembering back to that creature you'd fled before, you feel your body beginning to react strangely. Your hands tremble a bit, and as you stop to take account of yourself feel your heartbeat is greatly heightened, and your stomach begins to feel queasy as well. You take several short, shallow breaths as the air in your tank suddenly feels not nearly enough to take a full breath, and dropping both weapons sink down to your knees. What happened, did something poison you? Did that teleport also do something to your body? Did something poison your air? Are you dying?

CRACK

“Ah-! What the hell?!” you snarl, both hands going to your head as you turn, seeing the glowing body of the Rak'kari champion standing behind you. And from his stance, he's clearly the one who'd struck the back of your head. Immediately you're furious, but before you can do anything he reaches out telepathically.
“I know that look.” the creature tells you, and to your surprise actually settles down into the sand beside you, looking down into the darkness. “That is the look of a man overcome by fear.”
“I am not-!” you start, the Rak'kari holding up a scarred claw and you immediately stop, and take a moment to reflect. Are you afraid? And then you see it again in your mind's eye, the being that radiated with just unnatural wrongness. As you do, you feel your heart immediately skip a beat, skin going cold as you remember how badly you wanted to get away from that thing. You even used your Stand's Wish, something that completely uses up your Stand for who knows how long, just to get away from it. Yet here you are, about to go back down into that Abyss and confront it once more.

“It is okay to be afraid.” the champion says, looking down into the void. As you glance over to him, you see his claw is slightly trembling as well, and suddenly remember this isn't his first time facing this Abyss either. “But we cannot allow that to stop us. Our people need us to be strong, surface dweller. Can you do this?”

And while normally that wouldn't even be a question, today you hesitate and really think it through before answering. Can you do this? Can you really go back down there, and confront that abomination once again? Should you? Or is there another way?

Well?

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm ready." you reply, grabbing your sword in your right hand while taking back up the spear with your telekinetic grip in your left hand. Rising back up to your feet, you take a deep breath, sighing out before glancing to the Rak'kari champion. “Let's do this.”

The champion nods, ending the mental link as he turns to his men. You glance over, watching as he then raises both his arms, claws clacking, and his army mirrors him. You thrust your sword directly into the air over you to join in, and seeing you the clacking and clicking from his army doubles. This goes on for several moments before the Rak'kari champion turns towards the darkness as his own azure glow's brightness doubles, you turning with him and facing the darkness. Then the two of you leap, diving down directly into the darkness.

“HAAAA!!” you roar, raising your powerlevel to its highest and illuminating the Abyss around you both. As you and the Rak'kari champion dive deeper, his army following close, your blue and green lights leading the way for his people. As you dive deeper and deeper into the oppressive Dark, you focus your ki sense and try to sense anything before it can lunge from the shadows and attack. But aside from yourself and the Rak'kari, you can't sense anything else. Deeper and deeper you all dive, when suddenly your instincts scream at you in warning. “HRRAAAAA!!”

Unsure where the attack is coming from, you simply roar and unleash your ki out from you in all sides in a powerful Explosive Wave. Your energy surges forward, slamming into something directly to your back. So you spin around as your explosion ends, for a single instant you see what looks like a familiar giant hand. But then it's gone again, the Rak'kari champion turning to look at you.

“What was that?” he asks, you turning towards him.
“It's here.” you reply, the champion ending the telepathic link and immediately turning to his forces. They quickly form a cube-like formation, claws pointing out in all directions, then as one they fire.

Hundreds of magical orbs the size of your fists shoot out from the formation in all directions, illuminating the darkness. And as they do, showing you what was hidden from view, you almost wish they hadn't. Because you're surrounded. Two Abyssals similar to the one you'd encountered before are on opposite sides of you all, and as the light illuminates them, they attack.

Wordlessly the Abyssals swing several of their giant hands, palms-first at the Rak'kari formation and then they swing a faintly glowing palm each at you and the Rak'kari champion as well.

“HAAAA!!” you roar, as without thought you thrust your ancient Wolf Knight sword directly at the giant palm. It stabs directly into the gaunt hand, blood spraying as the hand immediately recoils. Then the beast unleashes its psychic attack with a cry of pain, and everything goes dark. All of your senses are consumed by the darkness, leaving you with only a vague sense of slowly falling. Everything hurts, and you aren't sure how long you drift before you snap back, fully awake and ready to continue the fight. Your weapon is still clenched tightly in your right hand, while Caulifla's spear is lost somewhere in the darkness. But then you try reaching out with your ki sense, and immediately can feel the battle raging above. Or, rather, the massacre.

Over half of the surviving Rak'kari who'd entered the Abyss have all been slain, crushed by the hands of the giant monsters. But their champion continues fighting, nimbly dodging their giant hands and firing his own azure magic shots directly into the creatures' bulbous heads. Each time his blows strike the creatures flinch, but they keep up the attack, swinging their giant hands and crushing the crab-like creatures. They can't hold out, at this rate they'll all be killed!

What do you do?
>Focus your ki into the blade, and start cutting their arms off without swinging into the remains of the Rak'kari formation
>Focus on one of the Abyssals, rush directly at it and try decapitating it with the sword while the Rak'kari keep their attention
>Swim up level to the giant creatures heads, focus your ki into the blade, and bisect both of their heads with an almighty swing
>Telepathically tell the Rak'kari champion to lead his people into a retreat, then attack the creatures' backs with attacks from your sword

"I won't let them fall!" you think to yourself, drawing the ancient sword overhead into your Djem So fighting stance. As you draw the blade up, channeling ki into the ancient armament, once more it begins radiating with azure light. “DIE!”

As you roar, you swing the blade down in a traditional overhead swing, firing an azure blade of light up from the weapon. The wide blade slashes up through the darkness, carving a path up into the outstretched arms of the Abyssal creature on your left. The creature doesn't notice your attack coming, swinging three of its arms directly at the Rak'kari forces just in time for your blade to slice up into them. Your attack cuts through all three limbs with ease, the creature's dark blood spraying everywhere as you take off almost half of its arms at once. The creature screams in shocked pain, eyes exploding out of its head as the entire creature's body twitches and spasms unnaturally.

But you're not done with a single swing, focusing your ki into the blade again and swinging it into a reverse upwards swing. Your second slash cuts through the abyss towards the one on your right, which is currently swinging four of its arms forward. Once more your blade slashes up through the darkness, and again cuts through the being's arms without resistance. Again Abyssal blood sprays out into the water, the monster's eyes bulging out from its head as it screams. The creature's warbling cry echoes out into the darkness, and you reverse your grip once more into your opening Djem So stance. But then the first one you slashed turns its head towards you, dozens if not hundreds of eyes all glaring at you. Again your instincts scream at you in warning, and as you dash directly to your right, the monster's head fires a beam of deep purple directly at where you'd been just a moment earlier.

“SHIT!” you exclaim, dashing up then to your left over the beam as the Abyssal monster follows your path with the beam. But as it does, the beam leaves behind what appear to be faint clouds of deep purple energy. And as it keeps following you with the beam from only a split-second behind. Then the clouds of purple energy begin exploding, forcing you to retreat further and further away to avoid being caught in the blasts. “Dammit. Take this!”

“HAAAAA!!” you roar, once more unleashing a powerful magical slash from the ancient blade. Your blade of energy crashes into the beam right by the monster's head, detonating both in a tremendous blast that staggers the massive creature. With this one stunned, you draw your weapon back once more, prepared to execute it, but then your instincts once more warn you of immediate danger. You turn, energy-charged blade forward, and block another beam of dark purple fired from the second Abyssal. But as you do, the strangest thing happens: your sword's azure energy cloaking the blade begins converting the purple energy, your sword glowing brighter and brighter with stored power.

“Woah!” you shout in suprise as your sword keeps absorbing more and more power, then your eyes widen as the sword begins vibrating in your hand due to the sheer amount of power it's absorbed as the beast's attack ends. If you don't unleash it, and soon, well.... You aren't entirely sure what will happen, but sincerely doubt it will be anything good.

What now?
>Try and unleash the power as a steady stream, and fire a beam from it just like those monsters just did
>Line both of them up, and unleash another powerful thrust with all of that stored energy at once
>Try shaping that energy out from the sword on all sides of the blade, shaping it like your Super Ki Blade to form a massive weapon out of that energy and attack

"I'll end this in one shot!" you think to yourself, immediately dashing towards your left. With the still-recovering Abyssal on that side, you decide it'll make the best first target for how you'll handle these monsters. The blade trembles in your hands, the ancient weapon straining to contain the power it absorbed. Drawing the weapon up over your right shoulder, perpendicular to your body, you line up the two Abyssal's heads in your sights. “NOW!”

And thrusting your sword forward, you unleash everything stored in your weapon all at once. The energy explodes forth from the blade, faster and far more powerful than anything you've unleashed from the weapon to date. A beam of azure energy that could rival your own Final Flash fires forth from the weapon, consuming the first Abyssal's ENTIRE head at once. The second one has almost a split-second to react, its head twitching and avoids being entirely erased. But that's no consolation, as only a small sliver of the right side of its head remains. The entire rest of its head, along with the neck and a bit of the being's torso are also obliterated.

What is fired from the front of the sword, however, is only half the story. As you unleash that attack, the recoil immediately slams into you, nearly tearing the weapon right out of your grip. If you hadn't been in your Ascended Berserker form, and if the weapon didn't have such a wide cross guard, it would have been blasted out of your hands directly backwards. But since you'd kept your grip on it, instead you are sent flying back with the weapon. Only for a couple seconds, as you suddenly crash back-first into the rocky wall of the Abyssal Trench.

“Guh!” you wheeze, the impact knocking all the air out of your lungs as you're embedded into the wall itself. You can't breathe, but don't immediately worry about it. Instead, you keep your eyes focused on the monsters' bodies, watching them to make sure they aren't still alive. You watch and see their bodies actually beginning to break down. They dissolve into the darkness, bodies fading away and revealing the aftermath of their surprise assault. Over half of the Rak'kari are no longer alive, their ki having been snuffed out by the Abyssal creatures' sneak attack. But the rest are still alive and rallying around their leader who's taking stock of his people. You pry yourself out from the stone wall, tearing your ancient sword free then taking a deep breath, and mutter to yourself at how pointless their deaths were as you swim over to the Rak'kari champion.

“Are you all ready to keep going?” you ask, telepathically reaching out to the Rak'kari champion. Who turns to face you, and despite the difference in anatomy, you can feel that he's clearly upset with the results of the battle so far. “Or are you going to be sending your people back out of here?”
“We will keep going.” he replies, you sensing his rage at what these Abyssals have done. “We cannot back down, our people will never be safe until this Abyss is stopped. No matter what. If we all die here, but succeed, then our sacrifices will have been worth it.”

You both share a moment of silent understanding, then sharing a single nod both orient yourself downwards. You take point, again channeling your ki into the weapon so its azure glow lights your way. You hold the weapon out point-first, aiming it at the heart of this darkness as you continue traveling deeper and deeper into the Dark. The blade's azure light leads the way, deeper and deeper into the darkness. Until suddenly the Dark around you changes. Suddenly you're no longer in water, and feel yourself falling through what feels like air. Then your sense of gravity changes, reversing, and you feel like your feet are now pointing down at the ground. Holding yourself in the air with your flight, you take a moment and start looking around.

You find yourself into what looks to be a cave, puddles of water scattered around the wide area, stalagmites rising from the ground in various places that your sword's glow illuminates. As you look around and see nothing, you decide to expand your ki sense to find the remaining Rak'kari. But to your shock, you can't sense any of them nearby! Immediately you expand your range out to its maximum, you then sense more than a hundred of the crab-like soldiers all scattered about you at various distances, and even more surprisingly elevations. You can feel them, some remaining where they'd appeared while others start moving, and realize that you need to get moving as well. You can no doubt sense more of the Rak'kari than they can, and with your Instant Transmission you can gather them all together again far faster than if they're wandering aimlessly through the dark. But then you feel the situation worsen, as two of the Rak'kari's ki suddenly plummet. Their energy levels drop, no doubt attacked by the beings that live in this dark place.

“Dammit.” you snarl, raising your right hand to your forehead and prepare to teleport to the nearest soldier. But as you shift your light, suddenly six or seven arms explode up out of the different puddles, all reaching for you simultaneously. But unfortunately for this monster, after sensing what was happening to the Rak'kari, you are ready to show this abomination no pity.

“Heh. Nice try!” you shout, bringing your left hand up to your sword as well and grabbing onto the weapon and quickly channeling even more ki into the blade. As the arms reach towards you you spin, unleashing everything in the blade with a shout. “HRRAAAA!!”

Your sword unleashes its power, cutting blade of magical energy forming a full circle as you spin. Almost simultaneously all seven arms are severed, spraying fountains of blood from the Abyssal somehow hiding in the ground beneath you. It screams a warbling, pained cry as its limbs start retreating into the water, but you're not done with that monster. Not yet.

“Oh no you don't!” you roar, drawing your weapon overhead into your Djem So stance as you channel more ki into the blade, then swing it directly down. Your blade unleashes another massive azure cutting edge of magic, it cutting straight through the stone ground and slashing into the monster beneath. It screams out once more, the cry quickly losing strength as it sinks down into the depths below you. And despite not seeing the results of your attack, you doubt that one will be bothering anyone ever again. Now, where were you again? “Right, rallying the Rak'kari.”

Shifting your sword to your left hand, you bring your right up to your forehead and once again focus on your ki sense. To your surprise, three of your crab-like allies have grouped up, and another few have also vanished completely. No doubt killed by the monsters lurking in this place. Each of the soldiers are easy pickings, as divided as they are. But, should you regroup them? If they're all spread out, and distracting most of the 'lesser' Abyssals, you could probably get a lot more exploration done without being accosted by everything down here. But can you just leave them to die like that?

Well? Which path will you take?
>Focus on regrouping the Rak'kari first and foremost, then once you've gathered them back together you can proceed
>Leave them as a distraction, head deeper and deeper into this Abyss alone

Their champ might be fine with them dying if that's what it takes, and Bane might call us foolish for letting an opportunity like this slip by, but I can't vote for leaving them to die. The abyss also just doesn't seem like something to face alone, judging from how their champ was able to snap us out of the fear we were hit with earlier.

“No, I can't do that.” you mutter, shaking your head. “I won't leave them to die down here.”
“You're making a mistake.” Bane's voice echoes in your mind, the phantom appearing beside you standing atop one of the severed hands. “Now is your moment to strike deep at the heart of this place.”
“Maybe.” you reply, closing your eyes as you raise your right hand to your forehead again. “But they were willing to follow me down here, I won't just abandon them.”
“Foolish.” he replies, crossing his arms as you focus your ki on the nearest Rak'kari's ki signature. “This decision will get you killed, and the Dark will continue to spread until it consumes your entire world.”

“Then that's a risk I'll just have to take.” you reply, and with a thought activate your Instant Transmission. You teleport directly over to the crab-like warrior, who starts as you appear and draws his claw back to strike. But recognizing you he lowers his arm, and you switch your blade to your right hand before reaching out and grabbing his wrist with your left.
“Hold on.” you think to him, and bringing your right hand to your forehead again teleport to the next-nearest Rak'kari. Who starts almost identically to the first as you both appear, the one you'd brought along looking around confused. “Hold on to me, and I'll gather everyone together.”

Then you teleport again, and again and again. Over and over you use your Instant Transmission, gathering ;more than two dozen of the Rak'kari together in less than a minute. And then you sense him, the Champion. Immediately you teleport to him, bringing his forces along with you to appear before him.

“Surface dweller?” he exclaims telepathically, shocked by the sudden appearance of so many of you. “You've been gathering my people?”
“Yes. Hang on, we're going to keep going.” you reply, and as he grabs onto one of his soldiers you once again teleport. But as you keep going, gathering more and more scattered Rak'kari, you sense their numbers continuing to dwindle. For each three you save, two more perish. But there's nothing more you can do, as you can only teleport from individual Rak'kari to individual Rak'kari while the denizens of the Dark can ambush as many as they can. “Dammit. They're all dying down here faster than we can gather them.”

“Go to the ones being attacked.” the Rak'kari champion says seriously. “We can fight, if we're together.”
“But we can't.” you reply, shaking your head. “Whatever is killing them, it is doing it instantly. And, unfortunately, I can only teleport to someone who's still alive. Once they're dead, I can't teleport to them.”

“Damn.” he replies, ending the mental link to no-doubt speak with his people. And you keep teleporting from soldier to soldier, slowly gathering more and more of the Rak'kari warriors. But as your army swells to over a hundred, the attacks on the rest of the crab-like warriors begin increasing. The numbers quickly begin changing, for every one you save, three more perish. You do everything you can to move faster and faster, but the forces of the Abyss continue destroying the scattered Rak'kari. The space between each of the remaining Rak'kari doubles, then doubles again as more and more disappear. But as you keep teleporting, you realize that the Abyss is leading you somewhere. The remaining Rak'kari are being erased from the sides first, drawing you down a path down further and further into the Abyss towards, well.... something.

You're being lured. But what can you do about that?
>You don't have a choice but to keep going, and face the eventual ambush when it happens
>Stop following the path they're trying to send you on, and teleport to one at the edge of your range and try and stop whatever's ambushing the crab men

“We've got a problem. They're leading us somewhere.” you think to the Rak'kari champion, your worry no doubt bleeding through the mental link as you tell him your worry. “They're wiping out your forces to the sides first, only leaving a path of your people leading us down deeper into the Abyss.”
“Then let's keep going.” he replies without hesitation. “No matter what, we should save as many of my people as we can before facing the master of this place.”

“Very well, let's do it.” you reply, nodding once to him then refocusing on your ki sense. You keep up the effort, teleporting from Rak'kari to Rak'kari and following the path the Abyssal creatures have laid out for you. As you go down the 'path' laid out before you all, gathering one Rak'kari for every three to four they kill. You all go deeper and deeper into the dark cavern, barely illuminated by your sword and the champion's glowing azure light, as well as your own emerald aura. You keep gathering the remains of the Rak'kari force, the numbers of those not claimed by your own group or the Dark quickly dwindling. And as you teleport to the last one, all of you appearing before a clearly-injured warrior laying crumpled on the ground, he panics and fires a magical blast at you all. You raise your Wolf Knight sword out in front of you, it absorbing the magical energy shot.

“This is the last one.” you think to the champion, who steps out from your group and rushes over to his downed warrior. He ends the mental connection as well, no doubt addressing his injured soldier as you look around. This part of the cavern seems different, the stone ground covered spottily in a dark liquid forming a roughly fifty foot circle, with the injured Rak'kari in the center. Darkness surrounds this platform on all sides, you not seeing any walls, or ground, or even a ceiling above you. In this void, you all are completely alone. Or, so you'd thought. As you look around, suddenly you begin seeing.....something out in the dark. You can't quite tell what you see, but there's certainly something moving out there. So you raise your sword overhead, and channel even more ki into it. The blade's azure aura brightens, radiating with even more light and allowing you to see what's beyond in the darkness. And as you see it, you look around, and realize that all of you are completely surrounded.

“Hey, we're surrounded.” you telepathically warn the Rak'kari champion, leaping up off the ground and flying over the crab-like warriors with your sword held overhead in your Djem So fighting stance. The pale eyes staring at you from the darkness all begin moving, drifting towards you all. Well, here's the ambush you were waiting for.

So what will you do about it?
>Unleash your sword's power with wide energy slashes, cutting through as many of the dark spirits as possible with each swing
>Try using your telekinesis to throw the sword out into the mass of dark forms, cutting through them with the energy-charged weapon directly from a distance to conserve energy
>Raise the weapon overhead and channel as much power into it as the weapon can withstand, then unleash that energy out all at once in all directions like an Explosive Wave
>Retreat within the Rak'kari formation, and allow them to take the point on attacking the encroaching darkness with their magical barrage attacks

“Dammit.” snarl, drawing your weapon down to your right side perpendicular to your body while pulling it back to swing. “HAAAAA!”

With a roar you swing, your weapon firing another wide slashing blade of ki. The azure energy slices through the air, carving a path of destruction through the dark, mist-like creatures. Your massive energy blade cuts through hundreds of them, the beings dissolving into sprays of white mist as they perish. You twist around, facing those approaching from behind you, and again you charge up your sword.

“HYAAA!!” you roar, firing another slashing blade of energy. Again you cut down hundreds of the dark creatures, who all dissolve in sprays of pale mist, the Rak'kari beneath you all forming up into their defensive formation.
“Don't move.” the Rak'kari champion thinks to you, then as one all of his soldiers fire. A couple hundred magical energy shots all fire out from their defensive square, the blasts exploding against the shadowy forms of the Dark beings. Each detonation you see consumes at least three of them in their blasts, surprising you with their effectiveness. But you won't let them show you up, again raising your blade overhead while channeling more ki into it then swinging down to unleash another ranged slashing cut.

Over and over you swing your sword, firing wave after slashing wave of energy directly into the approaching Dark beings. You spin slowly in a clockwise circle, firing attack after attack into the swarming horde drifting towards you from all sides. You fire attack after attack, but as the swarm simply keeps pressing forward, unrelentingly pressing forward despite the thousands of casualties they're taking every few seconds. You keep charging the sword with your own ki, it absorbing more and more of your energy as you keep firing. But you can't keep this up forever, your energy isn't limitless. Then, even worse, you try and take another breath. But there's no more air in your tank!

“SHIT!” you exclaim, immediately reaching up and tearing the mask off of your face to take a deep breath. The air down here in the Abyss tastes stale, and damp, but is welcome relief to your air-starved lungs. And as you do, the tide of battle once more changes. This time, at least at first, it is seemingly in your favor.

As you're taking a breath, suddenly a beam of purple energy fires out from somewhere deeper in the Abyss. It consumes the Dark beings in its path, cutting out an area around you all before several fireballs explode in the middle, clearing out a small area allowing a familiar-seeming figure to fly through. The pale, winged humanoid with four arms, two crossed across its chest appears through the gap, lifting up one of its right arms and creating a dark circle of flame above its body. Three fireballs burst out through that fiery circle, each one detonating against the Abyssals on the far side of the platform beneath you, destroying hundreds more of the misty beings.

“I remember you.” you say, the creature ending its fiery portal over its head and slowly flying directly towards you. Looking at it, the being seemingly is staring at you, but as it flies closer, you realize a shocking fact about the angelic-looking creature: under the white hood, the being doesn't actually have a head. It is just a void of darkness; no eyes, mouth, or anything. And suddenly its closed the distance between you, without actually traveling that distance. Almost as if it could teleport, catching you by surprise. The being lays its right hand flat against your chest, and suddenly your instincts scream at you that you're in serious danger. But it's far too late now.

by the way, I'm curious. do you have an idea about what wishes Beerus and Champa want to make during the Tournament of Destroyers? Because I don't think Beerus or Champa will know about earth cuisine in this timeline.

Also on a completely separate note what do you guys think of possibly making a pact/alliance with universe 6 during the Tournament of Power. We promise not to fight each other until all the other universes are defeated and whoever is that last one standing wishes that all of the erased universes are unerased.

My personal team would be:
1.) Frieza (leader)
2.) Cooler or King Cold (If he has healed enough or become stronger)
3.) Vegeta
4.) Karn
5.) Meloka
6.) Chilli (magic)
7.) Caulifla (healer)
8.) Broly (the wall)
9.) Guldo (time stop bullshit)
10.) Chaya or Captain Ginyu for body stealing bullshit. Just imagine if he was able to steal Jiren's body. even if it means he would later get erased or have to jump out of bounds at the end (I'm not sure if Jiren's body would count as universe 7s or 11s after the body swap)

there is also the potential option of Zeno Zoldyck although he would be nerfed by the no-kill rule like Hit.

>Tournament of Destroyers
Depends entirely on what they eventually argue about. Being as contentious as they are, the brothers will no doubt come to blows over something.
Such an alliance of mutually-assured survival would hinge on two factors: your universe’s perception of the 6th, and how trustworthy(or not) you find Champa.
As for body swap, I’ll say this right out. Unless you can weaken Jiren to the point UI Goku/Golden Freeza/17 did by episode 131, there’s no way it would actually hit him. He can resist a SSBE Final Flash AND a SSB KKx20 Kamehameha simultaneously without even breaking a sweat. Such a beam would never hit him.

That’s what I mean, Ubo COULD reach the level to fight Jiren for a time. But the more power he exerts, the faster he’d drain himself. And fighting Jiren’s full power is nothing if not exhausting.
>>
>>5322299
Speaking of the tournament, it's disheartening to know we have so many capable fighters that atleast one of them would sit out the ToP. I don't want to break up the Ginyu Force but Guldo and Ginyu's esoteric abilities are powerful, not to mention Burter's speed being a good ace I actually forgot Reccoome and Jeice's gimmicks. Plus there's our children, and while I know Chaya, Chili, and Caulifla would want a shot at the challenge, we can't bring all of them without leaving friends behind too.

But there's absolutely one thing thats set in stone for me, and its to keep the BIIIIITCH as far away from the arena as possible. He can have the honor of being Universe 7's cheerleader.

Guldo and Hit having an entire battle in the opening moments of the tournament would be entertaining, but vastly unsatisfying for the audience until the intermission/epilogue of that episode. Would be a rehash of the reactions I got to the Jotaro/Kars fight, now that I think about it.
In a battle for the fate of everything, only the best will be allowed to compete.

He has a LONG way to go to earn even a chance at a spot.

Buu gaining such a level of intelligence would be extremely dangerous. If Divine Dragon Force is down, he’d probably unstoppable at that time.
>>
Surprising update, I have the day off tomorrow! So be ready for an exceptional intermission where Megumin confronts her inspiration for learning Explosion magic!
>>
>>5322600
Is she ever gonna learn something BESIDES explosion magic?
I'm not even talking about learning other forms of magic, I just think it probably be useful if she learned how to fly.
>>
>>5322609
No. You can fly with explosions, no need for a flight spell.
>>
>>5322609
She’s been learning a bit of the basics of ki manipulation from Chilli, since despite being a wizard class and not even an adult, she’s still the most physically-powerful of the Crimson Demons.
>>5322617
Ha.
>>
>>5322623
Who knows, maybe one day she can have a vacation with Chilli on New Salda without the aid of gravity dampening magic.
>>
>>5322660
She’s getting there. Thanks to the sheer number of Demon King’s army soldiers she’s been able to eliminatewith ease from her home, her level is ever-increasing
>>
>>5323068
So as far as "Levels" Konosuba go, what level is Chilli?
And what about Karn, Meloka, Frieza, and the rest of our main cast?
>>
Having a day off to write is phenominal, already on post 10 of the intermission. And someone is about to have a bad time.

Under 30. He hasn’t had an adventurer card for long, and only got one once he realized it was a necessity for turning in quests. Since an adventurer card works off powerful, ancient magic. As for everyone else, level 1. Whenever they get a card, you’re level one with whatever stats you rolled up with. Which is why someone like Cautious Hero could have five times the highest stats of other Hero candidates, yet still only be level one.
>>
>>5323223
So its less of a power level and more of a prestige level. Interesting mechanics in the Konosuba universe. You could be an overleveled fuck but still need to earn respect like everyone else.
>>
>>5323346
Leveling up does increase stats, up to a certain cap depending on the class. Which is why a neet like Kazuma increased all of his stats rapidly despite not hitting level 30, while Aqua’s stats never improved no matter how much she leveled up. Especially her below-average intelligence

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 177 Intermission-

AGE 750, KINGDOM OF BELZERG'S FORWARD FORTRESS

“For a fortress on the front lines, that outer wall isn't looking too good.” you say critically, studying the familiar-looking blast marks and craters in the fortress's outer wall. “That damage looks rather familiar, doesn't it.”
“It does.” your wife Megumin replies, you holding her in your arms as you fly high over the fortress to examine the battlefield. “That's definitely the damage from Explosion, and more than one. No doubt about it, she's here.”

You are Chilli: greatest archwizard of both the Saiyan race and the greater PTO empire, wielder of Death and Chaos magics, and currently you and your wife are here to turn the tide of battle. A month ago, the Demon King's army had begun assailing the fortress with the power of a Demon King General, one who could reportedly use Explosion magic and is rumored to be a Dark God as well. You still remember back to that meeting, and the intensity of Megumin's crimson eyes as the Dark God's name had been spoken.

“Wolbach? You just said Wolbach, didn't you?!” she'd shouted, rising up to her feet and startling you all. Princess Iris' guards had both readied themselves to fight, you seeing the fear in their faces seeing your wife's eyes glowing crimson, but the Princess hadn't moved except to smile a bit. “Hey, answer me!”
“You DARE address her highness so?!” the swordswoman by the princess's side declares, drawing her weapon that is absolutely brimming with magic power. Megumin's eyes shine even brighter crimson, and you know she won't back down. So it's time for a bit of diplomacy. “I will-!”
“Now now, let's all settle down.” you say, reaching out and grabbing onto your wife's hand holding the staff with your left hand while also reaching out with your right, and grab her hand with telekinesis and jerk it up over her head. “No need for this peaceful meeting to get violent.”

“I was thinking the same thing. Claire, please, put your sword away.” Princess Iris says, the bodyguard immediately blushing at being reprimanded. You release her arm, the woman immediately sheathing her blade. “Now, back to business. I take it you know of Wolbach then?”
“You could say we have a history.” Megumin says, looking down at her hands. “I have to be the one to defeat her.”
“So, you'll help then?” the princess had said, eyes shining bright and hopeful. Which brings you back to the present, the two of you gazing down at the nearly destroyed outer wall.

“Hey hun, look!” your wife says, pointing down outside the fortress's walls. You turn, and see a lone figure approaching the wall. Wearing a wide-brimmed, pointy hat and a cloak to seemingly obscure their form, the figure approaches the fortified castle with little care. Just judging from how they move, and walking so boldly up to the nearly-destroyed wall, this is no doubt the person responsible. As they walk, you see several magical circles begin appearing around their feet, and you get a taste of this mage's power. And to your surprise, it doesn't feel like normal, mortal magic. You then try and sense for any ki from them, but sense absolutely nothing. Which reminds you of someone you'd faced not too long ago, and how you'd nearly killed that arrogant god. And would have, too, if it weren't for that interfering Kai bastard Kars.

“Explosion!” the woman declares, you flaring your energy up to shield your wife from the sudden blast's shock waves. But she doesn't avert her eyes, you sensing the intensity of her stare as you watch the damage to the wall unfold. A large section of stone near the top of the remaining wall tumbles down, crashing down inside the fortress to the screams of pain and shock from the defenders. But before the smoke's even clear, you can feel your wife start in your grip.

“Ah-! Sh-She's gone!” Megumin declares, you turning your gaze and, sure enough, the figure is long gone. No doubt a teleport spell of some sort, like your wife's friend and self-proclaimed rival Yunyun can do. “Where did she go?”
“I can't track her.” you say, Megumin turning around to look at you with a brow raised curiously. So you clarify, and watch her expression change. “I can't sense divine ki. I tried to sense their energy to track them the moment you pointed 'em out, but I can't follow them.”
“Dammit, I should have confronted her here.” your wife admonishes herself, shaking her head after a moment then gesturing to the fortress. “Well, it's too late now. Think you can help them?”

“With the wall?” you ask, an idea coming to mind as Megumin nods. “Alright, let's go make our introductions first.”

And so you fly down on the opposite side of the destruction that was just wrought, as the soldiers on the receiving side would no doubt be a little more jumpy than the door guards on 'friendly' soil. So you fly down, startling the four armed men stationed close together atop the wall as you enter into their lines of sight. They both jump in surprise, leveling their crossbows as you've learned they're called at you. But you pay the weapons no mind, giving them a wave as you land on the wall between them, setting Megumin down beside you.

“Wh-Who are you?!” one shouts, voice cracking a bit un-intimidatingly as his shaky arms points the weapon at you. You're more than confident that you could catch all four projectiles, even fired simultaneously before they could threaten your wife's well being, so you allow yourself to relax a bit.
“State your business.” the oldest guard says, voice gruffer and far more controlled than his clear subordinate. “Don't move, and keep your hands where I can see them.”
“Who are we?” you ask, turning to your wife and giving her a wink with the eye away from them. She gets the message and gives you a devilish grin back, and the two of you turn fully to face them. “Ladies first.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERKnkHq-6XA

“My name is Megumin! Greatest archwizard among the Crimson Demons, and she who walks the path of Explosions!” your wife declares, staff raised and crimson eyes glowing bright to match the enthusiasm of her declaration as she poses. “I who wield the greatest force of destruction magic known to mankind, and she who will one day master the art of Explosions!”
“My name is Chilli, son of Karn!” you also declare, striking your own pose while allowing your staff's crystal scythe blade to form menacingly. “The greatest archwizard of the entire Saiyan race, and he who will one day usurp the Supreme Kai of Time's throne!”

The four guards seem absolutely frozen in shock, their appreciation for your introductions overwhelming them to the point they cannot even speak for several moments. Unsurprisingly the older, more experienced soldier recovers first, and after closing his slack jaw slaps his fellow soldier beside him upside the head.

“Go get the commander, immediately.” he orders, the young man giving a hasty salute and sprinting towards the nearest stairwell set in the wall. You can hear his feet on the stone steps as he runs, no doubt eager for any excuse to spread the news wide that the two of you had arrived. “Sorry, but I'll need you both to wait here until the commander to verify your identities. The Demon King's army are all around us, and we can't risk letting a possible spy into our midst.”
“I get it, you need to get someone with authority here since you're not allowed to make these sorts of decisions yourself.” you say, speaking before your wife could get indignant. As you know she's quick to anger over what she calls 'pointless trivialities' when it comes to leaders and noble types. “I understand, we'll wait to speak with your leader. And when he comes, he can read this.”

And from a pocket you draw out the letter written by Princess Iris herself, wax seal of the kingdom pressed by her own ring back in Axel.

As you draw out the letter, you hear one of the morons behind you pull the trigger on his weapon. You don't even fully turn around, glancing over your right shoulder and smashing the metal-tipped wooden bolt to splinters with your tail. The guards all gasp in surprise, having clearly not expected your tail.

“What the hell?”
“He's a demon!”

“CALM DOWN! Both of you!” the older soldier before you declares, your wife not even turning around to face them, but keeping her eyes on the one before you. No doubt realizing that he's the most dangerous of the three up here. “I will NOT have my soldiers attacking a foreign diplomat, is that understood?”

But he doesn't get an immediate response, so asks again. Louder, and more forcefully.

“IS! THAT! UNDERSTOOD?!”
“Y-YES SIR!” they both reply in a panic, you seeing the hint of a smirk on your wife's face as they face the wrath of their superior. But as they hurry back, you hear several heavy, clanking footsteps on the stairs.
“Here they come.” you think to your wife, who's hearing isn't quite as acute as your own to let her know what's about to happen.
“Good.” is all she replies, and a few moments later the older guard hears them clanking up the stairs towards you all. He turns, and seeing the fully armed and armored knights gestures to the two to attention behind you. You hear them moving but focus on the stairs as the dozen or so metal-armored warriors ascend to the top of the wall. You recognize the one who's the commander immediately, their armor far more ornamental than the others'. As the warrior turns, your first impression is not a warrior, but you see a man with many heavy lines on his face, crushed by the weight of the responsibility he's forced to shoulder. You can almost smell his despair, and new worry upon seeing you despite doing his best to put on a brave face for his friends and allies. A look you recognize well.

“So, you are the outworlder I've heard rumors of.” he says by way of greeting, as you reach into your robe and drawing out the letter you'd been given. As you do, the knights all draw their swords, but you're unconcerned with them and offer the wax-sealed letter to the man. “What is this?”
“A letter from your Princess Iris.” you say, holding it out to him and his entire shocked entourage. “We spoke yesterday, and she asked that we come here and help out with your evil god problem.”

The soldiers all shout in surprise, many expressing clear doubt as to what you said. But the commander takes a step forward and takes the sealed envelope from you. He draws a knife, cutting it open without damaging the official seal. He unfolds the letter contained within and reads it silently for several moments.

The man's eyes widen as he continues reading, then once he's done folds up the letter, puts it back in the envelope, then holds it in his left hand as he offers his right hand to you.

“I see. Well then, Chilli. Megumin. Welcome aboard. We're truly blessed you're here.” he says genuinely, his relief palpable. The sudden change in the man's demeanor is apparent to his subordinates, who all look at you and Megumin differently. You accept his handshake, and only slightly crush his hand in your grip. Just enough to make him wince. Once you let him go the man doesn't even hold his hand, instead taking the petty show of dominance in stride and asks, “How can we assist you?”

“Your outer wall is looking ready to collapse. I'd like to fix that first, before we handle the Demon King General.” you say to him, ready to get down to business. “How soon is the second wave?”
“Second wave?” he asks, then as if realizing what you mean, shakes his head. “No no, it's only the one. She shows up every day, at a different time, and hits us with that damnable Explosion. Her range is greater than any of our own mages, so we cannot stop her before she can fire. Then before we can retaliate she simply vanishes, teleporting back to their camp deep in the forest where monsters have all the advantages. So day after day we're forced to try and rebuild, but it is a losing battle. We haven't even received reinforcements in a month, I had thought the Capitol abandoned us out here to die.”

“So its only her, and she only attacks once a day?” you follow up, and seeing him nod feel far more confident in your plan. “I need all your people to get clear of that wall, so I can repair it while my wife covers me. Should she return-”
“I'll show her who the true master of Explosion magic is!” your wife finishes, her bold declaration seemingly making the knights nervous. Which is a good thing. The more the people of the kingdom fear you and your wife's powers, the less likely it will be that they ever try something stupid in the future.
“As you wish. Please, follow me.” the commander says, you and your wife following him and half his entourage down the stairs, as the other half follow the both of you. Forming a defensive perimeter around the three of you, much as they had for just him upon the commander's arrival.

He leads you down off the wall, then across the courtyard where you can see the true toll of the battle here. Each soldier looks beaten down and hopeless, no emergency or enthusiasm to their movements as they all go about their day. Although you and your wife do get the occasional glance, you realize as you mingle about their people that you and your wife's different appearances aren't exactly that different. You see several warriors all wearing armor even more ornamental than the one worn by the commander, but as you approach the wall you notice one who immediately stands out.

“Ah-H-Hey! Where are you guys going?” Mitsurugi says, looking around confused at having his authority challenged by a 'kid'. But you quit focusing on him, instead walking towards the crumbling wall and open your magic sense to the spells woven all over and through it. You sense hundreds of lesser spells, animated golems fused into the remains of the wall in several places to hold up the crumbling fortress. In other words, nothing for you to work with. So you're going to have to do this the hard way.

“Looks like I'll have to start from the ground up.” you say, and turn to Megumin. “Mind clearing the rubble, so I can work?”
“Of course!” she replies excitedly, a trio of larger and larger magical circles spread out from around her feet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERKnkHq-6XA

“My name is Megumin! Greatest archwizard of the Crimson Demons, and she who walks the path of Explosion!” your wife declares, the soldiers and wizards all scrambling clear. You stay where you are, standing beside the wall as your the only one who can protect the weaklings cowering in this fortress. “May the hammer of eternity descend upon this crumbling fortress, clearing away the ruins and allowing my husband to rebuild this place anew! May the eternal darkness combine with my deep crimson, and burst forth!”
“Stop her!” the swordsman shouts, you seeing the commander grabbing him by the cape and stopping him from doing anything to your wife. But before he can break free, she fires.
“EXPLOOOOOOOSION!!”

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Her Explosion detonates at the weakest point in the wall, vaporizing stone at the point of impact. Her blast shatters what's left of the wall, blowing the remaining pieces out away from the rest of the fortress. But not all of it is sent that way, most notably a giant stone chunk the size of an Oozaru is blasted back. So you leap into action, kicking up off the ground directly between it and the people behind your wife. One good kick will shove it out away, and save-

“RUNE OF SABER!!” that arrogant swordsman shouts, and immediately after you feel a tremendous pain in your back.
“Gyaaaaaah!” you cry out, concentration broken as the stone before you is also split in half! Gritting your teeth against the pain, you reach out and grab both halves of the stone with telekinesis. Then with a shout launch the two halves directly into the large clump of powerlevels in the forest. “HAAAAAAA!!”

“Guh. D-Dammit.” you exhale, feeling several stronger powerlevels vanish as your projectiles crust many of the monsters hiding in the forest. But they're lowest on your priority list, you turning around and glaring down at the swordsman who'd slashed you. He seems shocked, not the least of which by the fact you're still alive after his attack, and takes an uncertain step back as you drop down out of the air directly in front of him. He's holding his ornamental sword in both hands, looking nervously at you as you snarl through clenched teeth. “If you interfere again, I will kill you. Do I make. Myself. Clear?”

The swordsman doesn't answer, you seeing the tip of his blade trembling slightly as he looks nervously at you. You glare for several more seconds, then wordlessly turn from him back to the sight of your wife's attack. And see that, indeed, she's grown more powerful than the Demon King General just judging by the results. Most of the wall is now simply gone, small stones along the ground revealing where it was. And so you step out into the remains of the wall, and hold your staff overhead in both hands begin channeling your magical power before slamming it blade-first into the ground.

“CRYSTAL MAGIC: PALEDRAKE'S LAIR!!” you bellow, and unleash one of the strongest spells in your arsenal. Magical crystals spread out across the ground and the remaining stones of the wall, you shaping them out into the shape of the wall your wife had demolished. Once you've covered the ground, you begin building the crystals up. It is slow going, creating literal tons of magical crystals into the ten foot thick wall more than forty feet across. You hear the surprised murmurs of the soldiers and mages all around, your magic no doubt impressing them as you pour more and more energy into the strongest fortification you've built to date. You've never created so much crystal in such a short time, even when building your own home, the walls were only a couple feet thick at the widest. But you refuse to stop, pouring everything you've got into the spell.

Ten feet tall, then twenty, then thirty, you keep sustaining the effort even as you feel your magic power dwindling as you near closer and closer to the tops of the other walls. Using so much power so quickly is leaving you exhausted, and that combined with the blood loss from your earlier injury, feel yourself drop down to a knee. But you don't quit, and keep pouring more and more magic into it until at last, your effort is finished. The wall has been fully rebuilt! Your newly made crystal wall stands just as tall as the other outer walls, a gleaming testament to your power as you exhaust yourself, slumping over onto your side as everything starts going dark. Looks like you've outdone yourself.

Instead of trying to get up, you simply lay there catching your breath. You'd underestimated just how much effort it would take to build something so much denser than your own home, which you'd created piecemeal after all and not all at once after all. But the task is done, leaving you only one last job to do today.

“Chilli! Are you okay?” your loving wife asks, you feeling her soft hands on your neck worriedly. So you open your eyes, and give her a gentle smile.”
“I'm fine, just used up a bit more magic than I thought.” you reply, and see her sigh out in relief. She'd told you of how, in her younger days, she'd cast a single Explosion and fall over, due to her body not able to fully handle firing off her own spells. But through sheer practice, and help from you making her Explosions more energy efficient, she no longer tumbles even after casting a half dozen powerful blasts like the one she demo'd the wall with. “Mind helping me up? Got one last thing to take care of before we can quit for the day.”

“Of course.” she says, expression darkening as she clearly knows who you want to address now. Getting under your right arm, she helps you up to your feet, and hands you your staff from where you'd dropped it. Which you have her hold for you once you've found your feet, and begin marching directly over to the swordsman who'd acted without thinking. His face has gone pale, and seeing you walking directly towards him hear his armor clank as he takes another step back.

“You. We're going to duel, right here and now.” you declare, and begin unfastening your robe. “You attacked me unprovoked, and I demand satisfaction.”
“But, you just used up all of your magic.” he tries to justify, looking around nervously. “I won't attack a man who's defenseless.”
“You mean like you did earlier?” you snarl, the swordsman, commander, and even his knights all taking a step or two back from the venom in your voice. But as you undo the last fasten and disrobe, you reveal to him your shoulder pad-less Saiyan armor underneath, and your repaired sword Blue Flame strapped to your back. Drawing the weapon with your right hand, you glare at him furiously. “I demand recompense in blood. Take up your sword, coward, and face me like a man.”

Mitrusugi looks around at the others, no doubt seeking someone to help him out of her current predicament, but seeing everyone waiting to see how this plays out, sight out and takes a defensive stance with his longer, more decorative sword.

“Very well. I, Kyouya Mitsurugi, accept your challenge.” he replies, then oddly enough seemingly speaks to his sword. “Let's go, partner.”

“What?” you think to yourself, seeing a man talking to his sword, but simply shrug it off. Who knows, that sword may be sentient itself, and speaks to him telepathically. It wouldn't even be the strangest thing you've seen on this world, much less the rest of the universe. “I'm going to make you bleed.”
“I can't lose.” he replies, raising his weapon as he takes a step forward. Which is your time to shine, and immediately surge towards him. You move far faster than he can react to, thrusting your sword forward and stopping the point just against his throat.

It takes him a quarter-second to recognize what's happening, his eyes widening in shock as he realizes his life is in your hands. But he then tries to deflect your blade aside to his right with his blade, you not resisting and whipping your blade in a quick circle and bringing it back to the left side of his neck. His eyes widen even more as the tip of his sword hasn't moved more than a foot yet, while you've already gotten him dead to rights twice in under a second. You draw it back, making a small cut on his neck while kicking off the ground. You twist around in midair, landing softly on your toes and turning back clockwise, once again resting the edge of your blade against him. This time just under his left earlobe, pressing it in just enough to draw a single drop of blood.

“Wh-What?” he exclaims, freezing as he suddenly feels your blade to the base of his skull. You whip your blade back and over him in a half circle, pressing the edge of your blade against his right ear now. Taking a step back you draw your sword's edge against his ear and shallowly cutting it. He flinches at this, ducking and turning to see you standing there, arm held down by your sword as if you aren't even in a fight. The man's expression is something to see, anger and fear mixing together and vying for dominance. “You-?!”
“I think that's enough, you've proven your point young master.” the commander says, you immediately taking two steps back from the now-bleeding warrior and holding your weapon low. But the man you'd cut across the head several times seems like he's not ready to give in, grinding his teeth. So you decide to make sure the fight's over, sheathing your blade. “Impressive bladework. I must say-”
“Hey! I'm not done!” the magic sword-wielder says, leaping towards you holding his weapon overhead in both hands for a powerful attack. But you're done, leaping up and grabbing him out of the air. With your left hand you grab onto his dominant right wrist, and with your right you grab him by the throat. “Gack!”

“You stupid. Ignorant. Self-important shithead.” you say, controlling your tone and keeping it level as you squeeze with your left hand, snapping his wrist in your grip. “I gave you a chance, now I'm DONE being patient.”
“KYAAAA!” he cries out in pain, dropping the sword behind his head as he desperately tries prying your left hand off his broken wrist. Seeing that doesn't work he draws his left hand back, slamming it directly into your face. But you don't even so much as flinch, and feel something in his hand pop. The man winces even more, tears forming in his eyes as he draws his hand back. You maintain your unblinking glare, and tighten your grip on his throat enough to silence his whimpering. Then letting go of his wrist, you draw him back behind you, then pitch the useless moron directly at the ground.

“HAAAA!!” you shout, throwing him straight down to earth. The ground splits and cracks from the force of your throw, his body making a crater at the point of impact. You remain in the air a moment longer, glaring down at him before slowly drifting down into the crater by the pair of shins sticking up and out of the ground. You reach down, and grab him by one leg and slowly fly back up and out of the crater with the moron in tow. “C'mon moron, it's not your time to take a dirt nap. Medics? Any medics here?”

“Here!” three people wearing white robes say, all stepping forward simultaneously. You set the unconscious moron down, and turn to leave when one of them reaches out, grabbing onto your wrist with her hand. You freeze, turning and glancing back over your shoulder curiously. “If you'll wait just a moment, sir, I can heal you from the slash Mitsurugi gave.”
“Oh, right. Thank you.” you say, having almost completely forgotten about the injury. She lays both hands on your back, and you feel a familiar warm, divine energy rushing into the cut across your entire back. After a few seconds it is done, the woman dropping her hands. “Appreciate it.”
“You done beating up someone who couldn't beat you while you were asleep?” your wife teases, walking up and sliding up under your right arm. You hold her close appreciatively, and the two of you turn back to the commander. “Now, as for your Demon King General problem, we'll handle her tomorrow.”
“Absolutely, allow me to direct you to our best rooms.” the commander replies, turning on a heel and leading you both into the castle proper. The rest of the problems can wait until tomorrow, but for now you've earned some rest and quiet time alone with your beautiful wife.

Having a whole day off to just write was certainly something special, I need to do this more often.

Did Chilli learn how to fence or was he just freestyling for the entirety of that spanking he just gave to that guy?
>>

He’s no fencer, but not entirely inexperienced. He did learn a whole lot of Su Ma (including bladed) from his wizened Teacher, both before and after his passing. But what he was really showing was how utterly outclassed the narcissist was, to establish the pecking order.

When Karn eventually gets around to learning Juyo, do you think it would be a good idea to teach it to Chilli?

That's a very uncertain maybe.

I'm pretty sure if it was any other member of the family he attack in the back, they would have killed him with little fanfare. Dude lucked out something fierce.

Naw, Chaya would have dragged that shit out and had a musical number in the middle of it.
Conversely, Broly would have just gone Ascended Berserk and stomped him into a pancake instantly.

Chilli has incredible restraint, that’s for certain. Although, knowing how slow the people of this world react compared to his fellow Saiyans, he knows that moron probably wasn’t aiming for him. But he had to teach everyone there a lesson. Especially when word spreads that one of the strongest adventurers in all of Belzerg was so easily bested by the Saiyan.

That’s almost backwards. Chaya would have certainly murdered him in the moment, and probably let the boulder halves drop on the basically civilians because they “didn’t appreciate her” enough. But Broly has the most restraint(ironically), and would have finished the job as Chilli did first before very calmly and unstoppably made sure he understood the error of his ways by pulling a Goku vs Trunks on the guy.

Oh, so she'd cut the shit if somebody interrupted her performance.
>and probably let the boulder halves drop on the basically civilians because they “didn’t appreciate her” enough
That...that doesn't sound like the daughter we raised.
>But Broly has the most restraint(ironically)
Ain't nothing ironic about it. All he ever wanted was to make sure his loved ones never got hurt and he's done everything in his power to make that a reality.
>made sure he understood the error of his ways by pulling a Goku vs Trunks on the guy
Man...our kids would make great Sith. Not the retardedly comically evil kind, but the incredibly smart and driven kind.

I'm sorry to say this but so far the most positive impact we've had on children have been for the ones that aren't biologically ours. Broly especially but even the others like Vegeta and Raven have grown to be better people very quickly.

Or maybe I'm just too critical of our performance dadding for the kids closer to us more often than not.

Quite possibly. Except for Caulifla, unless she goes down some very dark roads.

He’s learned a thing or two about breaking someone from watching you train your newest student.
That’s a good point. Karn most effective in small doses, and not constant exposure confirmed? Almost like how his own father raised him?
Being self-critical can be a good thing, as long as it doesn’t devolve into attacking yourself.

Attacking ANYBODY in the back like that guarantees being on someone's personal shitlist, but a SAIYAN WARRIOR? I'm surprised the fucker lived. But on top of that, he tries to chicken out of a direct challenge to himself, and when he loses tries to attack him unprompted TWICE? Any other saiyan would've made his dirt nap permanent. Chili was too nice, though I understand his restraint, saiyan customs are an anomaly in Belzerg's Kingdom, and didn't want to explain another diplomatic incident.

He was being very, VERY patient. But now the entirety of the fortress, and no doubt the capitol itself will hear about what happened before long. Which was the main point of his displays. Between Megumin obliterating the entire wall in one shot to him rebuilding it, then showing just how much stronger he was than the strongest fighter on the front lines, it was all proving a point

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Teleported into the Abyss, Karn was brought face-to-face with a titanic Abyssal creature with atrocious power, it drawing blood without ever touching the Saiyan. Who uses his Stand's most powerful ability, Wish, to teleport himself back out of the darkness near his daughter. Who was blazing wildly, rampaging through the remains of the Hydae/Abyssal amalgamation monsters. After their defeat Karn took his daughter to the surface, then after a moment of fear, Karn led the Rak'kari into the depths of the Abyssal Trench itself. After battling a pair of the giant Abyssals, and the Rak'kari taking heavy casualties, you all finally entered the Abyss proper. Only to have been split up, Karn using Instant Transmission to swiftly rally as many of the Rak'kari as possible before they were led into an ambush. Fighting off the dark beings, the battle suddenly shifted as a familiar pale being appeared. And as we rejoin Karn, the pale angelic being just laid a hand upon your chest.

Suddenly, you get a terrible feeling about this, your instincts screaming at you to get away. But the instant you have the thought, this being which lurks in the dark moves. Its crossed arms lunge forward, grabbing you by the wrists while its other left hand snaps to your throat, cutting off your air!

“Wha-!” you exclaim as the being instantly stops you, and the hand laying on your chest begins glowing with a familiar dark, red energy. The same energy you've seen wrapped around your daughter's left hand. Then before you can do anything to free yourself, the being thrusts its energy-charged hand INTO your chest! You feel it grab onto something inside you, then with a vicious tearing motion rips out some sort of glowing, almost flame-like golden light right out of your chest! As that light leaves you, you feel your strength immediately plummet despite not a single drop of your blood being spilled, dropping your sword as the four-armed being just drops you. Unable to move, or even breathe from the shock of having that, whatever it was being torn from you, you fall. Not onto the platform with the Rak'kari, but directly down into the Abyss.

“No, not like this! Dammit, fight back!” you think to yourself, but your body simply won't move, no matter how much you want it to. You brace yourself for the searing pain of falling into the floating Dark creatures, but as you keep falling nothing hits you. In fact, as you fall, it becomes clear that they're moving around you as you drop, perhaps thinking that you're already dead. But then you see the Rak'kari try and avenge you, firing a massive volley of magic towards the winged being, several exploding against it before you lose sight of the battle.

“Is this really it?” you think as you fall deeper and deeper into the Abyss, your body not responding and your vision tunneling as you can't take a breath. Your lungs are burning, limbs going completely numb, but as you keep falling you just can't make yourself move. Further and further you drop, everything going dark and to the point you aren't sure your vision finally failed entirely or you're so deep in the darkness you can't see, but then you finally find a bottom to this place. You crash down into something solid, yet you hear yourself making a splash just before impact. The ground you land on shatters from the velocity of your crash landing, and from the impact you finally are able to take a single, gasping breath!

“Guuah!” you inhale, and immediately begin coughing on the spray of what tastes like water that falls straight down your throat. Yet despite the painful coughs wracking your body with pain, the searing agony confirms one all-important fact: you are still alive. But as you lay in the newly-formed crater coughing violently, it begins filling with more and more water. If you don't move, and soon, that whole 'being alive' thing will have been past tense. So you focus on the Soulstone stored securely in your boot, and start drawing power from it. Power surges up and into your exhausted body, revitalizing your flagging energy and easing the aching in your muscles. But as you connect with the Soulstone, you notice something alarming. No longer do you sense the massive stockpile of energy from the giant Soulstone crater made on Sanghelios through your gem, you only have the energy within it that you've added over the past few months, every day after training as you'd prepared to go to bed. But right now it's enough, you emptying the gemstone's entire energy store into your body. “HAAAAA!!”

Power surging, your emerald aura blazes up around you once more. As it does, your energy illuminates the room around you, and you realize that you are, in fact, not in a room. But instead you're on a small ledge, no doubt a rocky outcropping of the platform above the Rak'kari were on. You can sense them far above you, no doubt still battling with the dark creatures and that angelic-looking being that attacked you. But you can also sense something else. There is something lurking down far below, down even further into the depths of the Abyss and is no doubt the source of these Dark phantom

so...
just like before we've gotta choose between pushing forward alone while we have the chance or rallying with the rest of the squad
this is tough, I still feel the same way about how facing the abyss alone seems like a big risk, but moving as a group seems to bog us down, and the longer we're here more and more major threats seem to be appearing.
I'm leaning towards pushing forward deeper, but the main thing holding me back is the thought that these "hey bro don't you wanna run forward alone?" votes are a way to show some kind influence from the abyss trying to split us up and take us out

The choice is obvious. These dark sprites aren't even paying attention to you now and were in fact moving out of your way as if you were an obstacle. Which means that you have only one real choice. Glancing around your little rocky outcropping once more, hoping to perhaps see your sword but not finding it waste no more time, and jump off the ledge. You fall, not slowing your descent further into the Dark. The dark spirit-like beings, all ascending towards the rapidly fading sounds of battle above drift out of your way, clearing a path straight down into the blackness down below. You keep falling further and further, and as you do you begin hearing something. Almost like the roaring of a distant, colossal beast.

But as you keep falling the roaring becomes louder and louder, and you begin seeing flashes of white light down below. It doesn't radiate up or illuminate anything, but with each flash you see more and more of the dark spirits rising up and out of the dark from a titanic dark shape. But you barely have time to process what you're looking at, as you drop down a couple hundred yards from the colossus finally find the ground of this dark chasm and land with a crash.

“Tch!” you exhale, slamming your right fist down and shattering the ground as you land. The rocky floor breaks as your fist crushes it to break your fall, emerald aura illuminating a few feet around you. And the first thing you see, between you and the beast, is your sword! So, without hesitation you rise back up to your feet, and take up your weapon once more. Immediately channeling a bit of ki into the blade, it lights up with cerulean energy. But as you do, suddenly the roaring stops. And while you can't fully see it, you FEEL the Abyssal being's attention has suddenly and entirely focused on you. So, you clench the sword in both hands, and charge up a bit more energy into the blade to further illuminate the darkness. Revealing the single-largest foe you've ever faced. A dragon. A pitch-black dragon, its head large enough to devour the entire head of the Abyssal you'd fled from in a single bite. The beast is absolutely gargantuan, and for the first time in a long time, you feel really, really small.

GRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAR

The beast bellows, unleashing a roar of challenge as it once more creates a dozen or so of the Abyssal beings. But instead of sending them all up towards the angelic looking being above, now they all swarm directly towards you!

“Not staying down here.” you think to yourself, kicking off the ground and taking to the air. The dark creatures follow you, but they're far too slow to catch you. So you fly out and clockwise around the approaching spirit-like beings and the head of the colossal being.

GRRROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAR

Once more the titanic dragon roars, unleashing another couple spirits from the ground to keep flying towards you. But as you pass over the back of the dragon, you draw the sword back over your head, and unleash that stored energy down with a shout.

“HAAAA!!” you bellow, firing an azure slashing blade out from your sword down into the dark hide of the beast. Your swing strikes true, cutting into the dark of the dragon's back between its wing. Immediately it roars out in pain, bellowing flames into the air that seem far darker than normal fire. But then as you draw your sword back to fire again, pumping more ki into it while continuing to strafe clockwise around the dragon's head to avoid the pursuing Dark, it begins acting strangely. The dragon's head lowers, breathing its fire directly down at the stone ground, then as you watch it begins brightening. You fire another azure energy slash down, it cutting into the beast's neck as the light gets brighter and brighter. Then before you can recharge the sword or react, the titanic beast whips its head around towards you, firing a powerful beam of light. “Wha-?”

The beam slams into you, scorching the entire front of your body and sending you flying back. You feel yourself slam back first into something, body hanging suspended in the rock.

“Dammit. That one hurt.” you think to yourself, vision swimming as you see the dragon's head reach the limit of its movement, and start turning back towards you. Seeing this you flare your aura up, shattering the wall you find yourself embedded in and immediately drop down towards the ground. And not a second too soon, as the beast's beam cuts through the stone where you'd just been moments ago. You fall down to the ground, and immediately you kick off directly towards the titanic beast. It sees you rushing forward and whips its own head back and forth, you flipping over the blade then ducking under it as you continue sprinting towards the beast. It tries whipping its head back again, but the ultra-powered beam fades out, reverting back into dark flames. Seeing this you kick off the ground, once more channeling your ki into the blade as you raise it overhead in both hands, then swing down.

Your sword unleashes another blade of azure energy, the magical blade slicing through the dark air and crashes down against the dragon's face, directly into its snout.

GRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAR

This time the monster bellows out in obvious pain, you seeing a dark fluid spray from the point of impact as the beast flares out its wings. Then with a couple quick flaps of its titanic wings, the giant dragon takes to the air. The pressure from its wingbeats knocks you out of the sky, sending you crashing down to the ground. But you don't falter, flipping backwards a couple times and landing solidly on both feet and sliding to a stop. The dragon roars once more from above you in the air, and as you watch slightly radiant dark energy begins gathering up around its body and you have a feeling something bad is coming.

But what do you do?
>Activate your Energy Body, and try to charge up at the beast through whatever it unleashes
>Activate your Immovable Energy Body, and brace for impact. Withstand whatever it can throw out at you, then find your opening to retaliate
>Charge up the sword with a majority of your power, and thrust everything in it directly at the giant beast's head
>Focus and create your Barrier, to hopefully stop whatever it is about to do before it can get close to touching you

"I can't let that hit me." you mutter to yourself, holding the blade before you in both hands between you and the monster flapping its titanic wings. With each wing beat the darkness around it grows deeper and deeper. You're pondering what you can do, when suddenly you have an idea. A flash of inspiration. You have an attack specifically designed to pierce through whatever your opponent throws your way, a tool especially effective against creatures of the Dark, and a target so massive you couldn't miss if you tried. But you'll only get one shot at this! “HAAAAAAA!!”

Drawing out everything you've got left, your emerald aura blazes wildly up around you as you begin focusing more and more ki into the blade. Focusing on the energy as it enters your weapon, you spiral the energy tighter and tighter into the sword, channeling your Piercing Fist MkII's energy directly into and through your sword. The energy begins radiating out of the sword, spiraling around it in tight circles of slashing energy. But as you channel more and more ki into the blade, the storm of energy spiraling around the blade widens further and further, until the weapon seems more than three times its original width. But your own energy starts to falter, you feeling tremors of exhaustion running through your limbs. You may have given your flagging energy a boost with the Soulstone's reserve power, but with that 'high' of energy running down your body's reaching its limits. It is now or never!

“I'm ending this RIGHT NOW!!” you bellow, exploding off of the ground as the cone of spiraling energy around the blade stretches and distorts, forming a cone-like shape of cerulean energy around you. The energy almost drags you further up, almost as if the blade itself were drawn to the Abyssal dragon flying, its form completely invisible inside the massive orb of Dark. Each beat of its now-obscured wings sends a shock wave of air slamming down onto you, but your sword's spiraling energy pierces straight through each one without slowing down. Nothing can stop you now!

GRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR

As the beast roars, suddenly the Dark shrouding it explodes! The Abyssal energy rapidly expands out from the dragon, reminding you of a Dark version of your own Red Dawn as the energy surges towards you. You tighten your grip on the blade, clench your teeth, and push even more ki into the blade just before the moment of impact.

The wave of Dark crashes against your spiraling energy as if someone increased the gravity a hundred fold, blunting your attack.

“N-No way!” you shout, shocked that your attack didn't immediately pierce through it. But you're not giving up, you've got too much on the line to give in now! So you dig deep, drawing up everything you've got to fight against this wave of crushing Dark. “HRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”

Your opposite forces clash, blue and white sparks flying from the infinitely small point of contact between your attack and the Abyss, but you don't relent, throwing everything you've got at the Dark. And then you feel it! At first it's only an inch, but you feel your attack actually begin piercing into that mass of solid Dark. Emboldened by the success you press forward, throwing your weight and everything you've got into pressing the blade further and further into that Dark mass. You have to fight for every inch, slowly thrusting the blade deeper and deeper into that Abyss until you are all the way inside it. You can feel the Dark trying to smother your sword's light, but the spiraling energy's azure glow keeps the Abyss at bay as you gain more and more momentum, pressing through this absolute Dark faster and faster. Until suddenly you hit something far less durable, and charge straight through it!

“GYUUUUOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAR!!” the dragon bellows out in pain as your attack strikes true. But then, as the weapon pierces up to its cross guard in the dragon, something changes. Your attack ends, the spiraling energy rapidly fading out as if it never were. But as it does, the oddest thing happens: the oppressive Dark around you simply vanishes. That massive Abyssal energy around you fades away, and you feel both the dragon and yourself dropping straight down towards the ground. Except you're UNDER the beast, with your sword lodged into its chest. You hold on, trying to tear the weapon free, but it's useless. And at the last moment, with only a second before impact, you leave your sword and kick off the titanic beast's chest and out from under it just as its body crashes down.

You narrowly avoid being crushed under the giant dragon, landing hard on your back and sliding for dozens of feet before you try and right yourself, but that just turns into a tumble that leaves you disoriented until you crash back first once again into a rocky wall. But as you simply sit there, head swimming, you notice something immediately: the room you were in is now noticeably brighter than it was a moment before, bright enough for you to notice something else about the room. You see a familiar golden spear, embedded up to the wide cross guard in the stone ground between you and the body of the beast. But that's not all, as you see the dragon is actually starting to get back up!

“N-No way. It's not dead yet?” you mutter, shocked as the beast starts slowly getting all four of its legs beneath it once more. It no longer radiates with the terrible Abyssal energy, but your attack didn't kill it. Even worse, it used up a lot of the energy you had left. As the beast struggles to rise you do the same, knowing that one way or another, this fight is nearing its end.

But what do you do?
>Grab Caulifla's spear, charge it up like you did with your sword, and impale it through the head
>Rush forward and grab your sword, then channel everything you've got left into the blade, and directly into this Abyssal dragon

“Dammit!” you snarl, slamming your right fist down and using it to steady yourself, getting your feet under you then rising. Standing tall once more, you stagger a couple of steps forward, then start running unsteadily directly towards the Abyssal giant. It sees you coming, letting out another roar directly towards you.

GRRRROOOOOAAAAAR

The dragon roars, no doubt trying to summon more of its spirit-like monsters to harass you and keep you from approaching. But nothing happens. The dragon looks back and forth, confused for several moments as you close in on your daughter's weapon. You slide to a stop, reaching out and grabbing onto her weapon's golden haft with both hands. Then with a grunt lift, tearing the lightning spear free of the stone ground as you gaze up at the beast. As it looks around confused, you ponder whether to channel everything you've got into the blade and just throw it down the dragon's throat, or to rush the massive creature and thrust your blade down through its head.

But you spend too much time being indecisive, the dragon recovering and the moment of opportunity passes you by. The dragon focuses back on you, and unleashes its fire once more.

GRROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAR

The dragon bellows as it belches forth blackened flames, forcing you to evade them or be reduced to ashes. So you take three steps towards the rapidly-approaching flames, then kick off the ground and dash straight up into the air. The darkened fire passes by below you, you avoiding being doused in the Abyssal flames. The heat slams into you, nearly stealing your breath, but you keep flying up and are soon clear of the stifling heat. The dragon continues blasting its flames, and you start channeling a trickle of your remaining ki into the spear. Lightning begins dancing along the spear's broad, thrusting blade as the dragon's roar starts losing power, and the torrent of fire begins slowing down. You have to act now!

“HAAAAAA!!” you roar, launching the golden spear down with all of your might since you wouldn't be able to make it in time yourself. The titanic beast's attack ends, it rolling its head counterclockwise to look up towards you with a single eye. Just in time for your spear to close the distance, and slam directly into the beast's glowing eye! The effects are immediate, the dragon flinching back and bellowing out in pain as it shakes its head wildly. Again, flames spew from the beast's mouth, leaving a trail of Abyssal fire behind as the dragon thrashes its head back and forth.

GRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

The Abyssal beast then rises up on its back legs, and actually starts clawing at its eye with its right hand's talons. Which only cut the side of its head up further, spraying its black blood and not removing your daughter's weapon.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVaAdKs1CW4&ab_channel=Kouta-San

“Now's my chance!” you shout to yourself, blitzing down at the spear with everything you've got left. You can end this right now, with one final blow. The Abyssal dragon doesn't pay you any mind, reaching up again and slashing at its own eye with its talons, but only manages to slash around your daughter's spear as it pulls its hand back, once more flinching in pain. You dash down, closing the rest of the distance at full speed, and flying up grab onto the spear with both hands. Your hands slip up the blood-slicked handle, your left crashing into the metal cross guard with the full force of your charge. But you don't slow down, gritting your teeth and clenching your hands despite feeling something break in your left, and drive the weapon even deeper into the dragon's eye. It cries out in pain as your entire body surges deeper into its eye, spear thrusting deeper and deeper. You feel the dragon begin thrashing, roaring out in pain, but you can't be stopped now. “HRRRAAAAAAAA!!”

You keep pushing, throwing everything you've got into that final charge, the dragon's soft tissue giving way until suddenly all the resistance is simply gone! Opening your eyes, you find yourself falling through the air as the dragon roars out in pain BEHIND you! So you turn and look, and sure enough there's a hole roughly as big around as you are in the side of its head. The dragon's roar quickly loses strength, you crashing down to the ground as the beast falls flat onto its chest before its neck and head follow. It slams down limply, bouncing once as its wings lose their strength and lay down, and the beast doesn't move.

You did it. Its over.

Sighing out in relief you relax, focusing on trying to steady your breathing, but you start hearing an unexpected sound. At first you can't quite understand it, as the noise almost sounds like the dragon's roar coming from far away. But unlike the dragon's, or ANY living being, the noise only continues getting louder and louder by the second. And as you lay there, the last of your strength spent, you wonder what it could be?

With your body pushed over the brink, you're not going to be getting up on your own anytime soon. But that doesn't mean you can't still see how the others are faring, and so you telepathically reach out to the Rak'kari champion.

“I found a dragon down here, and just finished killing it.” you think to the Rak'kari, his shock surging through the mental link.
“You WHAT?!” he replies immediately. “You actually killed it?”
“Yeah. Stabbed it in the chest with my sword, and most of the Abyss down here cleared up.” you follow up as the roaring noise above gets closer. “Then I ran my daughter's spear straight through the monster's head, and it hasn't moved since.”
“You....You really did it.” he answers, almost to himself as he's quiet for several moments before answering. “I knew that if anyone would be able to kill that colossal thing, it would be you, but I didn't actually believe it could die. Not after its spawn continued to live when it was only bones.”

“Wait, its spawn?” you ask, and then suddenly remember back. When you had found the shrine in the M'lurnian ruins that your daughter Chaya had been exploring, and the chamber depecting the Rak'kari giving the M'lurnians the dragon egg. So they'd gotten it from the Abyss, from that dragon you'd just killed. Everything is starting to make sense. But you possibly have more pressing concerns. “But what about the fight? Where is that four-armed being?”
“We managed to survive it, at least some of us.” he replies, tone shifting immediately to one of sorrow. “When the darkness began to recede, the being simply vanished, and we haven't seen it since. After it disappeared, and the void spirits quit appearing, we started searching for a way to get down there and reach you. But now you have a bigger problem.”

“I can't handle another problem, I'm worn out.” you reply, sighing as that roaring noise keeps getting louder. It sounds sort of familiar, like it is something you've heard before, but can't quite place it.
“You need to escape this place.” the Rak'kari champion thinks to you, tone full of worry. “Do you hear that noise? It is the sea, coming to reclaim this Abyss. The Dark held the almighty ocean back, but now it is coming to reclaim what was stolen.”
“Shit!” you reply, ending the mental link and immediately reaching out to your wife, Meloka. “Mel, can you hear me?”
“What happened?” she replies immediately.
“I just finished off the source of the Abyss, but-” you start, then stop as the roaring noise reaches a fever pitch. Then for a moment you see it, hundreds of tons of water crashing straight down towards you. “Oh shit.”

And then the entire ocean comes crashing down.

Right as the sea crashes down, you take a deep breath and wrap both of your arms around the haft of Caulifla's spear, holding it tight. Your sword is stuck in the body of that dragon, but you're not gonna lose her spear again. She saved your life with it, after all, so the least you can do is bring it back safely to her. But then the entire weight of the ocean slams directly down onto you. It burns against the entire front of your body, from your shins up to your head, but you can't worry about that. You're immediately sent tumbling, rolling over and over and over as more and more water crashes down. Once you're completely submerged, your body is sent tumbling over and over, spinning around aimlessly as you're lost in the sea. You aren't sure how long you tumble around, but as the water finally rises enough that you down at the bottom aren't being thrown around wildly continue your conversation with your wife.

“Sorry about that, the ocean just flooded these old caves.” you think to her, and immediately feel her relief through the mental link. “Mind getting me out of here? Suit's out of air, and I don't have-”

But before you can finish asking, you suddenly feel a powerful grip grabbing you by the arm, and a moment later you are out of the ocean. One second you're at the lowest depths, and the next you are back on the beach by your ship. Feeling the warm light of the sun you relax, letting Caulifla's spear go. It rolls off of you and down onto the sand, you feeling the burning light scorching your eyes through your eyelids. But you don't even have the strength left to raise your hand to cover them, so you just lay there taking breath after deep breath. It's over, you actually did it.

"Karn, what happened to you down there? The suit looks like it has been melted to you." Daiko calls out, hearing his voice and footsteps as he runs over. As the man slides to a stop near you, suddenly your chest seemingly lights on fire as something hits you.
"Gah!" is all you can manage, writhing ineffectually through the sudden and unexpected pain.
“Oh no, I'm so sorry!” you hear Daiko shout, first at you then at his assistant. “B7, bring the water over here! Hurry!”
“You idiot.” Meloka seethes, you hear the fury in her voice as you settle back down. The scalding pain lessens down, both in your chest and in your eyes enough for you to look around and see your wife and the head scientist both looking down at your chest, worry all over their faces. “This is all your stupid suit's fault; it was supposed to protect him.”

“How was I to know he would encounter something hot enough to melt metal down there?” he fires back. “He wasn't going into an area of active volcanic activity or something like that, I can't be prepared for absolutely everything.”
“How are we going to get it off of him?” your wife retorts worriedly, you see her reaching out to the remains of the suit's breathing apparatus on your chest. Then to both of your surprise, Daiko actually swats at her hand.
“Don't touch him!” he admonishes your wife, inspecting the damage with a critical eye. “I can't tell what is melted TO him, and what isn't. Plus, there is a dark substance there on parts of his injuries I don't recognize. We shouldn't take any chances with this. I need to get him down into the lab, and make sure that whatever that dark fluid is, it isn't spreading.”

“Absolutely not, he needs to get into a healing pod, immediately.” your wife counters, her voice angry. “Can't you feel his energy dropping by the second?”

"Wait." you say, catching both Meloka and Daiko's attention. "Mel, get one of those healing bottles, the blessings that Caulifla's been collecting. I don't want to risk getting the Abyss into the healing pods."
“Of course.” she replies, taking off so quickly that she seemingly vanishes. You then turn to Daiko, and continue talking. “Don't touch the Abyss directly. Whatever you use to cut it off, once I'm healed up, will have to be destroyed. Incinerated until there is no trace of the Dark left.”

“You have seen this before?” he asks, you giving him a very pained, shallow nod. “Mel has too, but she was never IN it. Treat it like an infection that spreads through touch. Once I'm healed, you may have to cut some off of me. Take the knife to me if you have to, don't leave any of that behind on me. Understood?”
“I understand. I will not allow that contamination to spread.” he says to you with a nod, turning to the Saldaman. “B7, I need you to ready the dissection table, and get the team on standby. This is the most important job any of them will ever have, make sure they understand that.”

B7 takes off wordlessly, you sensing his powerlevel rapidly leaving your island behind as Meloka bursts back out of the ship. She flies to a stop over you, the sudden sonic boom blasting the sand back and away from you before her flight could blow it all onto you. Which you appreciate, as it is rather painful right now. She then flies down, landing beside your head with the flask of golden liquid.

“Hold on, not yet.” Daiko tells her, you seeing Meloka glare at him with murder in her eyes. He flinches back, grabbing onto the water container B7 had left there. “We need to was the sand I foolishly covered him in, or it might cause further complications with the healing.”
“That's a good point.” your wife says, visibly relaxing after a second. She takes the offered container, then looks down at you with worried eyes. “This might hurt a bit, hold on.”
“Do it.” you say, feeling your eyelids slowly drooping downwards. But that exhaustion is swept away the moment she begins pouring what feels like fire onto your chest, you clenching both fists and your teeth to keep from shouting at the sudden agony. Every second feels like torture, the rushing water scraping across your chest like four handfuls of claws. But after what seems like several agonizing minutes it's over, the jug running out. She then tosses it aside, grabbing the bottled flask once more and opening it above your mouth. You open wide and allow your wife to slowly pour the healing fluid into you.

You drink down the golden light, a comforting warmth spreading throughout your body as Meloka finishes pouring. It feels almost identical to your daughter's healing magic, you closing your eyes and savoring the healing sensation. After the day you've had, the pleasant sensation is a very welcome one. You savor it, but the light soon fades, and all that remains is the uncomfortable sensations of the melted suit against your body, and the Dark. The unnervingly warm, almost fleshy bits of Abyss still clinging to your body. All over, surprisingly, and not only on your front. So however it got on you, it wasn't from the dragon's fire.

“Thanks hun. Help m-?” you say, holding your right hand up towards her. But she takes it before you can even finish your sentence, hauling you back up and onto your feet. You use the spear still clutched in your right hand to help you balance yourself, then once you've got it hold the weapon out to her. She looks at it curiously, then to you. “Can you take this back to Caulifla, and leave it there with Dr. White for when she wakes up? I'm sure she'll be curious what happened, so I want her to know her spear saved my life.”
“Of course.” she replies. “But what about you?”
“I'm going with Daiko, and they're going to cut this suit off of me.” you reply, gesturing down to yourself. “Or, at least what's left of it. Sorry I couldn't save more of it.”

“Bah, it did its purpose.” he says, waving off your apology. “You're still alive, and that darkness has been vanquished. Its job is done. Now all we need is to recover the remains, study the damage, and improve it for the next time such a suit is needed. Are you ready to go?”
“No, but let's do it.” you reply, taking a deep breath and sighing out. It's been a hell of a day, but thankfully it is over. Your part of the work is done, now all you have to do is lay back and relax, and let the professionals do the rest of the work, right? Right?

Huh...I wonder what the Science Team can actually gain from studying the Dark.
Maybe we can get some kinda Darkness resistant compound woven into our armor.

My issue was he knew Karn's dick size, and STILL thought he could actually fuck Meloka. Whom at the time had to be able to bend a steel bat if she so felt like it. Like, I get it, our Yandere wife is hot, but, practically speaking, what could he really accomplish?

You feel yourself groggily coming too, blinking a half dozen times as your body fights against the anesthetic they used to put you under. You can't quite tell where you are, but everything is dark. And for a moment, you fear that you're back in the Abyss, facing that.... THING that had so frightened you with its mental attacks and the aura of wrongness that hung about it. As you bolt upright, chest heaving, you find that you're back in your own bed, and the events of the previous day quickly come back to you. The battle into the Abyss, the pale creature stealing something from you, then the battle against the Abyss dragon all come back, then the aftermath of the battle does as well. Meloka using one Blessing from Caulifla's stash, then teleporting yourself, Meloka, and Daiko down into the lab. They had put you under on the table, and the last thing you remember seeing were Meloka's and B7's faces before everything faded away.

Looking around, you see that Meloka is asleep by your side, Karn Jr clutched in her arms. Then between you and your youngest son is Okira sleeping soundly, her Stand protruding from her mouth and lightly snoring as well. But you also feel something on your left arm, and looking over see your daughter Caulifla curled up in a ball, almost wrapping herself around your limb. Which is good to see, you're glad Dr. White got her patched up after her flaming rampage. But now you feel that you're wide awake, and while everything is quiet, that doesn't help but bring uncertainty to your mind. Everything seems fine, so is it REALLY fine?

Well?

Maybe it is just your nerves, but the quiet is making you a bit nervous. So, you focus, reaching out telepathically to New Salda itself. Your mind links with the planet's avatar, and immediately you feel the weight of your world in your mind.

“GREETINGS, CHAMPION.” comes New Salda's booming voice in your mind. “THAT DARK TAINT HAS BEEN WHOLLY REMOVED. THANK YOU.”
“Of course, glad to have done it.” you reply, then switch gears. “Mind lending me a hand? I want to check up on things.”
“OF COURSE, MY CHAMPION.” New Salda replies, power surging into you. You feel the combined might of your world flowing up and into your body, and taking a deep breath begin focusing on your ki sense. With New Salda's awareness combined with your own, once more you can sense every living being on the planet. From the Rak'kari and Hydae under the sea, to your fellow Saiyans on the surface, to the smallest blade of grass, you can sense it all. And almost immediately you realize something: many of the Rak'kari are down down in the depths where the Abyss was. You sense the Rak'kari champion's energy, head and shoulders above the rest of his kin while hundreds of his people weaker than the warriors you'd battled alongside explore the caves. But they aren't alone down there, as you sense more than one being killed by a Hydae ambush.

However, such matters aren't your concern. At least, not at the moment. You narrow your scope, bringing your attention to your ship and focusing on the energy signatures here. You sense yourself and Meloka first, then Broly, the older twins Tatsu and Tomi, Caulifla, the younger twins Maz and Kayle, Okira, and Karn Jr all in your rooms, you sense your crew are mostly asleep, except for Orlen and Silver who're up talking in the ship's mess hall. But everything here seems to be in order.

“So why am I awake?” you mutter, widening the scope of your senses. If you're awake this early, something has to be going on, right? It always has been the case before. So you keep watching over your planet, going from your ship to the city, and not sensing anything amiss there take your attention over to Raven on her island. And that's when you sense something.... off. She is clearly awake as well, and you sense her near three unfamiliar powers. Their energy is almost familiar, but you can't place it. Until you sense Raven tap into her demonic heritage and realize why they seem familiar. The three confronting her are all demonic, same as her.

I just realized something. If the Remnants just sabotaged the atmospheric systems on Karn's ship while he was out and started pumping CO2 in, they'd stand a good chance of killing him in his sleep.

She's clearly ready to go to war with them, so you decide that just appearing behind her would probably be a bad idea. So instead you reach out to her telepathically, and see if she wants your help.

“Hey Raven, is everything okay?” you think to her, sensing her tenseness through the mental link. “I can see you have company.”
“No, but I can handle this.” she replies tersely. “Whatever your senses show, do NOT come over here. If they take your power, its over for us all.”
“Wait, what?” you reply, feeling even more concerned than earlier. “They can steal power?”
“Exactly. So whatever you do, don't come over here yourself.” she replies. “I had to send Ubo off as well, so they didn't take his might for their own. I should have this all wrapped up shortly, so don't worry about me.”

“If you're sure.” you reply, still feeling a bit uncertain about letting her fight the demons by herself. But you trust her, Raven isn't one to overestimate her own abilities. And if they can really steal strength like she said, then you being there would make the fight much harder for her. “Good luck Raven. Give 'em hell.”
“Oh, I will.” she replies, and you get the image of her grinning maliciously in your mind as she ends the telepathic link. You almost feel sorry for the poor bastards.
“Mrhmm? Karn?” you hear Meloka murmur, turning your head and seeing her eyes half-opened. “Wha's goin on?”
“Nothing's wrong, We're fine.” you reply, ending the connection to New Salda with a quick thanks. “Raven is just confronting a few demons, but she'll handle them shortly.”
“Oh m'kay.” she says, eyes shutting. But only for a moment, as they shoot fully open. “What?”

“Its fine, I already checked to see if she needed help.” you think to her, Caulifla and Karn Jr both shifting in their sleep from her sudden noise. “Apparantly they can steal energy, so going over there ourselves would just make them tougher for Raven to destroy.”
“Oh, okay.” she replies, also telepathically. You lean in and give her a kiss, Meloka grinning as her eyes drift back shut, snuggling back into the sheets. You smile at her, holding your youngest son in her arms. Even after all this time, the fact he was born a Super Saiyan still surprises you. One day, he'll grow up to be something quite special.

“Hey dad, you up?” Chaya suddenly thinks to you, catching you a bit off guard. “Today's the big day.”
“That it is, are you ready?” you reply, and immediately sense her excitement through the telepathic link. Looks like she's ready to go.

“More than ready!” she answers enthusiastically. “We're about ten minutes from the planet now.”
“Then I reckon I should get up, and start getting ready.” you reply to her, and using your telekinesis gently lift Caulifla up and off of your arm. But as you do she murmurs sleepily, eyes cracking open to see you. She blinks a couple of times, then her eyes shoot open wide. So before she can shout, you reach out, grabbing her and pulling her into a bear hug. She clutches herself to you, and starts whispering something over and over.

You can't quite make out what she's saying, but that's fine. You get out of the bed holding her with one arm, and with your free left hand quickly gather your uniform up. Your Soulstone had been inside the boot you'd worn down into the Abyss, but it looks like Meloka brought it back as well, the item resting on your shelf beside the door. Your hammer is there as well, leaned against the door frame. You'd forgotten all about it, but it looks like the strap itself had somehow survived the Abyss Dragon's fire. You grab onto all of your clothes, then with telekinesis grabbing your hammer and Soulstone and walking out the front door with your daughter still held in your arms. As the door shuts behind you with a hiss, she realizes that you've moved and looks up at you, confused.

“Huh? Wh-Where are you going?” she asks you, looking up curiously as you set her down, then start dressing yourself in the hallway. “Are we under attack again or somethin?”
“Your sister's fight is today, and I told her I'd come watch in person.” you reply, seeing her eyes widen. “And she just messaged me, and told her they were approaching the planet.”
“Oh, okay.” Caulifla says, seemingly uninterested in her sister's arena fighting. “Dr. White told me your spear helped you win your fight. I'm glad I could help you, even if I lost control and couldn't be there for the whole fight.”

As she says this you see her hang her head, sounding almost disappointed in herself. You can clearly tell she's beating herself up for not venturing down into the Abyss itself with you and helping out more.

But what do you do?
>Tell her it is alright, and that you wouldn't have wanted her to see what happened down there anyways
>Thank her for helping you as much as she did, and that you couldn't have done it without her help

"Look kiddo, don't beat yourself up about it." you tell her, pulling your armor on down over your head. "Why don't you come along, and watch Chaya's match with me? After all the craziness yesterday, we've both earned a day off to just relax. What do you say?"
“I guess I can come along.” she says, then her eyes widen in sudden understanding. “Oh, I should probably get dressed too! Wait for me!”

She then runs off into the room next to yours, the door sliding open and revealing the small fireplace with her blazing sword sitting idly in it before it slides shut back behind her. You keep dressing in silence, putting the stone into your boot's compartment before putting them on, then pulling on your arm guards as well. You debate on if you should take the hammer as well, but as you remember being at Chilli's wedding completely unarmed and what happened then. So you take the hammer and once more sling it over your back. As you do, Caulifla's door opens and reveals your daughter has already dressed as well. And not just dressed, but also has a few items with her. Another of her Blessings, as well as her bell are held to her waist by her tail while she holds her oversized golden spear in both hands.

“I'm ready!” she replies enthusiastically, rushing over to you. “Let's go!”
“Alright, let's let her know we're coming.” you say, and once more telepathically reach out to Chaya. “I'm ready to head on over. Caullifla's coming with me, and we're both going to be watching the fight.”
“Great! I'm ready, so come on over.” she replies, you holding out your left hand to your daughter while bringing your right to your forehead. Locking onto Chaya's ki through the telepathic link, you then focus and use your Instant Transmission technique to teleport both yourself and your daughter holding onto your hand. One second you are both standing in the hallway of your ship, and the next you're in, well, another ship. But this one is noticeably different, carpet covering the floor, your daughter standing before a display watching something, and you even see Raditz off to the side. But as you appear, immediately your instincts scream that you're in danger.

“Barrier.” you say, throwing your right arm out and surrounding yourself and Caulifla in the spherical shield. And not a moment too soon, as the instant it is fully formed a hail of energy shots crash into it from behind you, Raditz immediately leaping to his feet and Ascending. Chaya immediately turns as well, and starts shouting.
“Cease fire, cease fire!” she orders, and immediately the hail of attacks against your shield stop. Caulifla looks around in confusion, peering out past you to see what had attacked you. You look over your shoulder, and see four of the soldiers you'd seen with that Tanya girl all lowering their weapons and returning to attention.

“Sorry about that Daddy. We've had some assassin problems last night, so every guard is set on high alert.” she says with a sigh. “But it looks like you were ready.”
“Yeah, I'm still a little jumpy too, after yesterday.” you say, ending your shield. Chaya immediately runs over and hugs you, then hugs Caulifla as well.
“I'm so glad you decided to come too! I can wait to show off the fruits of my training!” she says, then turns back to the screen and points. “There it is. Vox's spies have found where those machines came from. So once we arrive, the ship will teleport me down, and I'll go destroy these jerks for trying to attack our home.”

“Entering the planet's atmosphere now, prepare for turbulence.” an automated-sounding voice declares, and a moment later you feel the ship shaking a bit. It reminds you of all the times you'd ride an attack pod into another planet, and can feel the sensation stirring up your blood a bit. But then Caulifla points to the screen, asking a question as you follow her gaze.
“What's that?” she asks, pointing to something leaving the planet. And not only that, but approaching rapidly. “Is that a-?”

KABOOM

“Direct hit. We're going down.” comes the eerily-unconcerned automated voice, you seeing everyone looking around wide-eyed. “Impact in t-minus twenty seconds.”
“Daddy?” Caulifla asks you worriedly, but you already know what to do. Clenching your fists you Ascend into your strongest Berserker form, sparks dancing around your body.
“Stay close to me!” you call out, throwing both arms wide as you once more activate your Barrier. Everyone rushes inside your shield, and you begin filling it with more and more energy. Instead of a simple bubble-like shield, your energy forms a shield more like the one that dragon had made out of the Abyss. You keep making the energy inside your shield denser and denser, holding the four of you completely in place within it. And then the ship crashes. Everything outside of your shield is consumed by flames as you feel your energy slam into something. But your energy takes the brunt of the blunt force, barely transferring any of it into you or your shields other passengers. You keep up the draining effort for at least half a minute, and then as the flames die down you end the technique with a sigh. Crash landing on a hostile planet wasn't how you'd planned to spend the day, but you never know what the future has in store for you. All anyone can do is prepare as best they can for the worst, and challenge whatever life throws at you with absolutely everything you've got.

And that's it for this episode, ready to watch the battle? Did you enjoy your battle with the Abyss for the past few episodes, and confront whatever awaits you next? Curious how this all plays out, and what lies in store for your family? Ready to finally witness the battle that's been anticipated for over an irl year now? All this and more, next time on Saiyan Conqueror Quest!

But before we go, I have a final vote for everyone before the next episode. Since this next episode will be heavily Chaya-focused, which pov would you want this upcoming episode to be through?

QM UPDATE

Epilogue will hopefully be out late Saturday evening, where we’ll finish up the story the intermission set up. Along with a special, updated surprise.

>>
Thoughts?
>>
>>5331382
Well, the color is off because its supposed to be green. But yea, that's about right.
>>
>>5331382
A Super Saiyan with the power of an Oozaru is, in fact, almost identical to an Oozaru with the power of a Super Saiyan. But at the same time complete opposites
>>
>>5331423
That's the Full Power state (it's a confusing name when you remember Grade 4's Full Power state) which is its own form abet evolved. Super Broly as they call this form (which is dumb since Wrathful Saiyan or Super Saiyan Oozaru would've fit way better) is the hybridization between the previous two power ups. Anyway, I honestly wish the form didn't go Green cause Shintai wanted to canonize or call back to LSS. For all intense purposes its either canon SS4 but without it being SS4 or the Fully realization of the Oozaru x Super Saiyan form. Either way, its completely different from LSS. But I guess since the Ikari form gave off the green glow, it's inevitable that the transformation would end up that way. Could've least picked a different shade of green.

>>5331438
If nothing else it explains why Broly can tangle with two SSBs and demolish Golden Frieza if we remember the multiplayer boost the GO has according to GT's Guide book. x500, but thanks to Broly's mutant Zenkai Power it isn't stagnant and thus acclumates in escalation.
>>
>>5331461
I do think the green works, in the context of the film as a ‘canon’ version of SS4. Which a 4000x base modifier would explan the ability to fight off basically three gods, and why Kale was ragdolling Blue Goku.
>>
Reminder hat there will not be a new episode this weekend, although my previous plans have been canceled due to me getting ill. Epilogue will still be out hopefully Saturday evening

>>
Interesting question, because I’m curious as to your opinions. Would you all be interested in a second epilogue in the coming week not posted here, but elsewhere due to it being smut? Would not be of Karn, but of someone else.
>>
>>5332886
Sure dude, but if not Karn and Meloka, then who? Chilli and Megu still have a year before his hormones kick in.
>>

>>5333601
Megumin only has room in her heart for one spell, and that is Explosion. Sure she’s learned more ways to master it.
Meloka and Towa still aren’t on the friendliest terms, but far better than they used to be as Meloka sees Towa not competing with her for Karn’s attention.
Karn isn’t as worried about it due to the Saiyan approach to sex, but he was disappointed in her.

>Hey now, just because I enjoy a classic shonen and live in the Appalachian mountains, doesn’t mean I’m illiterate.
Oh I know GD, I remember the first threads. What I meant was the, unfortunately, accepted standard of writing by other DBZ fans. Its unironically like watching toddlers play with letter blocks in front of their friends.
>>
>>5333698
>but far better than they used to be as Meloka sees Towa not competing with her for Karn’s attention.
No kidding, used to be, Imma cut you bitch, even if your babies with our man are adorable. To, alright slut, get licking and he'll get dicking. Which, for a Yandere is extremely good progress.
>Karn isn’t as worried about it due to the Saiyan approach to sex, but he was disappointed in her.
>I like you as a friend, still do, not even mad, just disappointed, all you had to do was ask
>Previously non cock drunk into compliance Meloka making a throat cutting motion with a death glare.
Truely Karn is built different, but I hope Meloka is fine with actually trying to make it up to Towa when she's around with the kids.
>>
>>5333709
The sad thing is most DBZ fans have an IQ equal to the temperature of frigid water. Sometimes I feel like these threads have all the ones that aren't sporting extra chromosomes.

The "solos the verse" statement gives me fucking PTSD attacks at this point.
>>
>>5333717
I know what you mean, and I fear their retardation infects other fandoms because whenever they do crossovers, its just smashed together like aforementioned letter blocks with no rhyme or reason. But they clap because it makes words and they feel good.

>>5333724
Personally its the /dbs/ spic threads for me. Its funny observing it from a distance, but not so much when it leaks from containment.

Tatsu and Tomi need to up their game. Getting surpassed by their little sister (Caulifla) like they have is how you get relegated to background character level.

>>5333717
>The sad thing is most DBZ fans have an IQ equal to the temperature of frigid water
Have you ever seen the comments section of the DB Multiverse webcomic? Because that's a pretty good example of general DBZ fan retardation as well as ESL retardation.
>>
>>5333785
Honestly I'm concerned for all our twins, they really double the characters while not having much time for them.
>>
>>5333542
>Central Precocious Puberty
To my recollection, it basically went
>Towa:"Karn, I'm sorry but I raped you in your sleep."
>Karn:"No you didn't."
And then Karn was just cool with it because he got free demon pussy.
>>
>>5333698
>Fixed for you. But yes, Karn has become the definition of built different.
No, that would be Turles. That guy must be on the Leyas diet because he's fucking rock solid.

Maz and Kayle have yet to find their footing. Granted, they're still pretty young but they've had the least screentime out of all our children. Tatsu and Tomi definitely need to pick up the pace though. We were bound to have "middle children" with how many we have already. We ought to fix this and spend more quality time with em. And get a visit with our half demon children too, time loli be damned.

She can still be right and be nicer about it, Towa is a designated broodmare far as she should be concerned, and a loved family member. You'd think all the effort Towa puts into using her tounge on her she'd mellow out more.
>As someone who very carefully plans his crossovers, I can agree with this. Few do any crossover passingly well, much less exceptionally. I’d rate myself a generous 5/11 for crossover fluidity.
The only story in terms of quality I can think of being close to you was TG's Meta Quest way back in the day, and that was a clusterfuck in writing style. But at least it tried more than any other. It was the good ol days when people irl dressed like super heroes and stopped petty crimes.

The youngest aren’t yet aware of the tale of their namesakes. Real heroes. As for Tatsu and Tomi, they’ve realized both how and why they fell behind.
>>5333980
She’s perfectly hospitable, and even polite.
>>5334012
The answer to those names is, I’m not original enough to come up with that many puns myself, much less vegetable puns. So I had to cheat and use a name generator to fill out the roster the moment you all started becoming a teacher. Made me have to keep track of a lot more characters
>>
>>5334077
No worries. Have seen some of those generators, and yeah, it's an issue because they don't have any little comments about how each name was derived. Some are obvious, some can be worked out with a bit of effort, and some are really fucking tough, because they could be rearranging the letters, dropping out 60% of the letters, doing either or both of those with a vegetable name in another language.

'Kartul' for example, might be derived from Kartoffel (potato in German), but if you don't already know the word Kartoffel, there's no fucking way you're working that out.
>>
>>5334077
>She’s perfectly hospitable, and even polite.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 177 Epilogue-

AGE 750, KINGDOM OF BELZERG'S FORWARD FORTRESS

As the sunlight comes in through the window, light hitting you on the face, you feel yourself squinting as it wakes you up. Your sleep had been deep and dreamless, until the light begun waking you. But as you feel yourself waking, and roll over, you realize something worrying: you're in bed alone. Immediately your eyes snap open, fully awake as you realize Megumin's gone! You start panicking, Ascending and immediately flying up and out of your bed while drawing your staff to your hand with telekinesis. At the same time you snap your left hand's fingers, summoning the ancient Tome of Jergal into your hand.

“Megumin? Megumin?!” you think out in a panic, armed to the teeth and rushing to the door, throwing it open with a thought. But as you do, you see your wife standing there, holding a tray of food for you. She jumps slightly at your sudden appearance, but manages to keep a hold of the tray in her hand.
“Oh! Morning, I brought you some breakfast.” your wife says with a smile, holding a tray full of nice-smelling food in both hands. “I thought you'd be hungry, after all that work yesterday, so I wanted to surprise you.”
“I appreciate it.” you say, closing the ancient tome and banishing it. You return back to your base form with a sigh, taking the tray from her. “Thanks Megu. I appreciate it.”
“I would have brought more, but this is two soldiers' rations for the morning.” she says to you apologetically, the two of you sitting on the bed together as you realize she hasn't eaten yet either. But you also realize that she's already fully dressed, wearing her armor over her dress as if she's ready to go to war.

“You're up early.” you comment between bites, looking her over curiously. “That excited for your rematch?”
“The guards on the wall said that she never appears at the same time twice.” she replies. “So I wanted to be ready at any moment so I don't miss-”
“ENEMY SIGHTED!” comes a crier's voice, you setting the empty tray aside and Ascending once more. You dress at full speed, quickly getting your clothes, armor, and then robe on while Megumin grabs both of your staves and goes over to the window, opening it in preparation for the flight. Once you're dressed you rush over, dropping back to your base form as you hold her in your arms. Holding her you leap out of the window, flying up and orienting yourself in the unfamiliar terrain. You find the one wall that's different, your crystals still standing strong, and start flying over that way.

“Do not engage, I repeat; Do NOT Engage!” you call down to them as they all rush about, preparing for taking another Explosion. They all stop as they see you flying overhead, you quickly taking command. “We will handle this, everyone remain on standby!”

You then fly down over your crystal wall, seeing the same cloaked figure standing there alone and landing on the ground outside the fortress. Megumin almost leaps from your arms the moment you step down, passing you your staff as she steps forward.

“Wolbach!” Megumin declares, the woman starting and turning her gaze from the wall towards your wife. “My name is Megumin, she who will one day master Explosions! And I have come to stop you.”
“You....Did the two of you do this?” she asks, almost sounding offended as she gestures to the wall you'd built. So you step forward, activating your staff and creating the usual scythe blade from its end. “You. Do you understand what you've done? You undid weeks of hard work! I've been out here using Explosion every single day, and you wasted it all! Now I have to start all over!”
“You don't have to worry about that. Because today is the day I prove that I've surpassed you.” Megumin declares, reaching up and tossing her eye patch aside, crimson eyes glowing. “I challenge you to a duel of Explosions, Dark God Wolbach!”

“Hmm. Very well.” she declares, tossing her cloak aside to reveal the woman's figure. And she's prepared for battle, drawing a small wand from a holster at her right side with a small blood-red gem in the tip, matching the one embedded in the goddess's forehead. Which reminds you of Raven honestly, and you wonder if there's any sort of connection there? “I am Wolbach, Goddess of Violence and Sloth. And upon my name, I shall not lose!”

As she makes her declaration, a flame-like aura suddenly blazes up around her body. You can't sense anything different from her, but the pressure she's suddenly exerting feels all too familiar. You'd felt the same aura next to the former Time Patroller Ace when he went Super Saiyan God, and to a lesser extent that slimy Kai Kars who'd stopped you from killing that worthless god. Looks like she is ready to do battle.

“Darkness, darker than dark and blacker than black.” the goddess begins, immediately starting her chant while creating more than a dozen magical circles beneath her feet. You feel yourself wanting to take a step back from her sudden show of power, but manage to remain resolute. But your wife doesn't start channeling her magic, or even beginning to start chanting the words for her Explosion. For a moment you're worried that she's too stunned by her overwhelming divine magical power, but then you see it: your wife cracks a small grin only from the corner of her mouth and starts walking towards the woman channeling her magic from several dozen yards away. “I beseech thee, combine with my deep crimson.”

“I learned so much from you.” Megumin says, walking towards the literal god before her. “You taught me my Explosion, and because of that I have everything I do now. And for this, I am forever grateful.”
“The time of awakening cometh!” the goddess declares, and while she's busy chanting, you can almost see a smile in her yellow cat-like eyes.
“But I have grown strong. Stronger than even you.” your wife continues, speaking as the woman continues her chant. “Now my Explosion is not only the strongest in the universe, but the fastest as well.”
“Justice, fallen upon the invisible boundary, appear now as an intangible distortion!” the goddess continues, a note of worry in her voice. Then Megumin stops, leveling her staff at the woman as nearly triple the number of magical circles appear around her. Your wife reveals exactly how much power she's working with, and the goddess Wolbach steps back uncertainly.

“My Explosion is now so powerful, I no longer need to speak the words of the chant aloud, or even channel my magic before you .” Megumin declares, the woman's eyes going even wider. “But everything I have now is thanks to you.”
“Burst forth! E-!” Wolbach shouts, preparing to unleash her spell. But she never gets the chance.
“EXPLOOOOOOSION!!” Megumin roars, and everything goes white.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOM

Megumin's blast is so ferocious you feel yourself sliding back across the ground, so you swing your staff's scythe blade down and holding you in place. Simultaneously you raise your left arm, shielding your eyes from the blinding brilliance of your wife's ultimate power. The Explosion ends after a few seconds, your vision slowly returning to reveal your wife is the only one still standing at the lip of a titanic crater.

“Thank you. And farewell.” your wife says to the crater, then her legs turn to jello and she falls backwards towards the ground.

Dropping her staff she collapses backwards, unable to even remain upright by herself since she fired absolutely everything she had. As her body falls backwards you dash forward, catching her limp frame gently in your arms. As you hold her, her hat falls off her head, revealing a dazed, dreamy smile on your wife's face.

“I...I did it.” she says, eyes meeting yours. And in that moment, you feel something stirring within you. Almost like a hunger you've never felt suddenly awakens deep within you. Then without hesitation you lean down, and immediately kiss her deeply. “Mmm?!”

For a moment she's too stunned to react, but then immediately begins reciprocating the passionate kiss. You hold her tight, and nothing exists except for the contact with your wife. You lose yourself in the passion, until suddenly you hear something unusual. And after a moment you recognize the sound, and hear the cheering of the fortress's soldiers. Immediately you feel yourself getting embarrassed, pulling back from your wife and glancing back towards the fortress. Dozens of soldiers are lined up along the walls, raising their weapons and cheering you on. So you turn back to Megumin, who's looking dreamily up at you. Her entire face is flushed red, even her ears are red as her eyes are blazing crimson up at you in excitement.

“Mmmm.” she says, snuggling a bit closer to you.
“C'mon, let's get you inside.” you say to her, grabbing her hat and both of your staves with telekinesis while lifting the two of you up into the air. “You had your turn to show off, now it's my turn.”
“What do you mean, your turn?” she asks as you fly over the crystal wall, dozens of soldiers cheering as you fly the two of you to the open window of your room. Flying inside the room you lay Megumin in the bed, and begin channeling some of your ki into her so she can move under her own power.
“You got to show everyone just how strong you are, now its my turn.” you tell her, setting her staff and hat on the desk in the corner of the room. “I'll be back shortly.”
“Don't leave me waiting too long.” she says, giving you a look that makes you second guess your decision. But the sooner you finish this job, the sooner you both can go home together and relax. So you fly back out of the window, and focusing your ki sense quickly find the commander. Zeroed in on his energy, you fly down, landing beside him.

“Your wife is something incredible.” he says, patting you on the shoulder. “Thank you both for all of your help, you've turned this battle right around!”
“Its not over yet.” you tell him, the man's brows furrowing in confusion. “I'll be back in a few minutes, once I've cleared out the rest of that forest. Before I go, I do have one question though. Is that forest important? Or is it okay if I level the whole thing?”

“Oh, I see. Some collateral damage is okay, do what you need to do.” he answers. “If you're really going to take the fight to them, I'll have the soldiers ready to-”
“That won't be needed. I'll handle the rest of them myself.” you reply, to his apparent shock. “Just needed to see how much collateral damage was allowed. I'll be back once they're all killed or routed.”

You then kick off the ground, flying back up and over the crystal wall. You fly out past the fortress and over the newly-made crater, rapidly approaching the edge of the forest. As you fly closer to the forest, you begin expanding your ki sense to get a better idea exactly where the enemy are hiding. Almost immediately you sense hundreds of powerlevels much stronger than the average soldier defending the fortress. They all stop as they see you, looking curiously towards you. Then one larger demon walks up, a heavy iron battle ax in either hand.

“Who you?” it asks, stomping once and snorting steam from its nostrils. “You do this?”

And if that isn't just the best line it could have given you for an introduction, you don't know what is.

“My name is Chilli, son of Karn!” you declare to the devastated Demon King Army camp, projecting your voice like your old man does when training his students. “Greatest archwizard of the Saiyan race, and he who will one day overthrow the Supreme Kai of Time herself!”
“Oh no. Oh no no no. That's him!” one of the demons, a snake-like being with a curved blade says, slithering back away from you. “That's the one who defeated Sylvia at the Crimson Demon Village!”
“Chaos Magic: Light and Dark Blades!” you shout, crossing your arms before you and creating your twinned magical swords. From your right hand, out around your staff forms a sword entirely made of brilliant golden light, while in your left forms an identical weapon made entirely of the darkness. Then with a flourish take your fighting stance, dark blade held out before you parallel to the ground while your light sword is held overhead, perpendicular to it. “You all have five seconds to run for your lives. If any of you are brave enough to still be here after that, your lives are mine. ONE! TWO!”

At first they all remain stock still, but as you start shouting the count the camp's remains explode into a flurry of activity. Some shout out orders, trying to prepare their troops for battle while others throw down their weapons and flee, headed in the opposite direction of the fortress. But the big demon before you is rather impatient, instead lumbering up and raising both heavy weapons to directly down at you. With a smirk you raise your Light sword up, and with a flash sever the weapons just above the demon's hands.

“Three. Four.” you say, continuing the count to the giant demon's surprise. It lumbers back a step, looking from you to its weapons in confusion. No doubt it has never seen something like this before, and the slow-thinking monster doesn't quite understand how out of its depth it is. “Five. Dark Slash.”

You swing your left handed blade of darkness, firing a blade of dark energy from it that slices the giant demon in two at the waist. Its legs fall forward while its upper body falls back, both halves landing with soft thuds in the muddy ground.

“ATTACK! ATTACK!!” comes a shout, and you see a formation of a couple dozen monsters all rushing your way, weapons drawn.
“So, you have chosen death.” you say with a grin, dashing directly at them. You swing your blades, cutting a path straight through the monsters until you've gone completely through them, then spinning around launch yourself right back into the fray. Each swing of one of your blades drops at least one demon, their movements so slow that they almost seem to be standing still as you carve your way through them. And almost as soon as it started, its over. Well over thirty bodies lay slain at your feet, and you see the rest of the monsters all staring at you in shock. “Alright, who's next?”

“Fuck this I quit!”
“RUN! RUN!”
“Stand and fight you cowards!”
“I'll kill you for that!”
“Mommy!”
“Grrrraaaaaa!”
“I wanna go home!”

“HAAAA!!” you roar, kicking off the ground at the one telling the others to fight, decapitating it with your radiant blade then spinning around, kicking off his back and thrusting both swords into another one's chest. Tearing the blades free you cut down another one on each side of that one, and with each swing of your blades fell more and more of the Demon King's forces. As you keep up the pressure, soon the enemy are no longer rushing towards you, but instead fleeing from you! They shout in terror, dropping their weapons as they run in a futile hope that you'll spare them. But you already gave them their chance. “HRRAAAAA!!”

As you listen to the screams of the cowards and they dying, your mind is empty of all thoughts except those of your wife's face as you'd pulled away from the kiss earlier. And you feel an unfamiliar fire burning inside you, a hunger to go do nothing more than go back to your wife's embrace. So, you pick up the pace, Ascending in a burst of sparks just to move even faster and be done with this menial task sooner.

QM UPDATE

Couple updates while it’s on my mind. First, as of right now my schedule is still clear, and episode 178 will be this Saturday at regular time. Second, while the epilogue is on track, I hope no one is expecting a masterpiece. Just wanted to branch out, and try something new with characters also trying something new, how fitting. Third, and this one is regarding the patron-exclusive story and the early access to the commissioned piece. That will be of a Bad End, only obtainable by ignoring several direct warnings I’ll give out. Granted, ignoring the very first warning was already voted for, but still. And lastly, are you excited? I’ve been hyping up to the Chaya fight for so long, I only hope it lives up to expectations.
>>
>>5336665
Wait, the patrons have the exclusive story? Shit. Also I would have voted against ignoring the first warning but I was banned at the time.
>>
>>5336954
The patron-exclusives are about a regular epilogue-length story related to the commission. But they’re never anything directly story-related, as all directly important quest info is always posted here. That’s just a bonus for the people helping me pay for the art commissions.
As for the warning, I’m sure you all won’t wait until AFTER the ToP to confront Baby. Or, should I say, Nefarious?
>>
>>5337082
COCK SUCKING MOTHER FUCK OF PINK LOLI BAIT BITCH CUNT CUNT CUNT, WHY WON'T HE FUCKING DIE LIKE THE DAMN COCKROACH HE IS?!
>>
>>5336665
>ignoring the very first warning was already voted for.
I’m concerned now.
>>
>>5337335
Nefarious is dead and gone. But his final machine body’s lab was on a planet known as M-2.
>>5337430
Mechikabura did offer early knowledge on it, but anons chose different knowledge
>>
>>5337655
Ah piss. I have regrets. In the meantime I'll go down memory lane and revisit the archives to see how far we've come, wish me luck
>>
>>5338006
>see how far we've come
The current record in thread is five feet and seven inches.
>>
>>5338006
Anons choose power over cheesing a late game threat early, many such cases.
Try to avoid taking as much psychic damage as I did when I reread my early threads. I was hot ass, but I’m glad anons saw potential in this. We wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them.
>>5338018
Nani the fuck? Are you just spitting out pb’s, or did you measure a friend?
>>
>>5338060
>Anons choose power over cheesing a late game threat early, many such cases.
Yeah, because where's the fun in cheesing it early?
>>
>>5338084
Exactly. At first I was afraid of letting moves like Instant Transmission and Divine Dragon Force’s Wish happen for fear of cheese, but they’ve both been working out so far.
>>
>>5338112
You and I both know that as useful as those things are, they have their limits and more than a few opponents have ways of dealing with them regardless.
Though I can certainly understand the fear of letting the players control a character who can close the gap near instantly and kill almost anything in a single shot.
>>
>>5338122
Everything has limits. Well, almost everything.

Which is what I’m glad about. This quest could have very easily devolved into anons trying to metagame hard. Which is why I’m glad I get Kazuma to do so instead, and be punished by the universe appropriately for doing so. All of his current hardship is due entirely to his own choices.
>>5338635
Yesh, smashing indeed.
>>
>>5338782
As is typical for Kazuma. If he manages to survive his fuck up of getting attention, then he'll be worthy of a Saiyan mate. Possibly. Pitty fuck if nothing else.
>>
>>5339007
So his reward for not dying a virgin for his fuck ups is to die AFTER losing his virginity? Eh, seems like he wouldn't mind TOO much.
>>
Epilogue out hopefully tonight, if nothing interrupts me.

>>5339007
Not likely. He’d have a long way to go to earn one’s attention. Saiyan society is still strength-focused.
>>5339067
>die while losing
Fixed for you.
>>
>>5339073
If he learned to be a good killer, I could see him showing off some bullshit. Strength at the end of the day means bodies dropping, and if he can stand on a pile of his enemies, well hey. That gets the Saiyan ladies motors running like nothing else.

IT'S TIME! Patron art just finished, so story dropping now. Our second epilogue for this episode will be out in a little bit later tonight, once I've finished it. Today SCQ fans eating good!

You are Karn, Lord Frieza's most trusted General, "The Dragon of New Salda", and father of almost a dozen rambunctious children.
You have been asked by your short yandere wife to look after the kids for the remainder of the day, a rare occasion to be certain.
Electing to do something besides group sparring for once, you instead ventured to the nearest city, making a quick match to the first eatery you could spot in a few seconds.
The line to the register immediately dissipates as you walk in the door, your innate killer aura causing several patrons to pass out.
After a few minutes of inputting your gargantuan order, you're asked by the lanky Saiyan working the register...
"So is that gonna be cash or card today sir?"
You start to speak, but just as quickly hush yourself and begin to think.
You've never actually "paid" for anything before in your life, not with currency anyways.
What do you do?
>Assume a Djem-So stance, then remain perfectly still. This is probably a ploy meant to catch you off guard.
>Offer up your Gravity Hammer as collateral for the meal. It's an heirloom item, so it should more than cover the cost.
>Pull the "General" card and make it clear that you won't be paying for anything today.
>Swallow your pride and contact King Vegeta via telepathy, asking him to fly over with a portion of the royal treasury's funds.
>Challenge the cashier to a duel. If he wins, you'll do his job for a week.
>Sigh out and admit that you don't actually have any form of payment on you. Your reputation will just have to take a hit this time.
>Pickpocket the nearest off-worlder with your telekinesis and use their card to pay for the meal.
>Instant Transmission to the chef's ki signature and start cooking the meal yourself. They can't make you pay for something you made...right?
>Other (write in)

I’m so excited for the next episode, it’s finally almost time! Been waiting for this Chaya vs Tanya fight for so long, I only hope it lives up to the hype.
>>
>>5340299
It's almost time for Chaya to come face to face with the death of her ego.

Speaking of ego, I just had a troubling thought: are our children becoming complacent? Broly is a strong boy that works hard on his beserker transformation and becoming stronger to protect his siblings, so I'm not worried about him. I already know out half demon children train like their lives depend on it, which they actually do ;-; so I'm not worried about them. And aside from Caulifla, Tatsu & Tomi, Broly, Maza, Milha, and Koruza, I worry that out children have forgotten or don't know that there will always be someone stronger than them, not just family. I just want to make sure they keep the drive to become stronger in their hearts, and not fall into delusions of grandeur.
>>
>>5340333
To be fair, Chilli is also working hard to improve, and has high aspirations (killing pink bitch and usurping the SKoT position).

Tatsu and Tomi I would be concerned about, but GD says they've realised they're lagging and have decided to pull their fingers out and get to work.

The rest are all a bit too young still.

It's really just Chaya that's a concern.
>>
>>5340333
Not ego, necessarily. But pride and self-image certainly. The half demons, even if they feel complacent, have Towa, Future Chaya, Ace, and Cell to keep pushing them. But as for your any of your children, they know there’s always someone stronger: you. But that’s a sword that cuts both ways. Their dad, who protects them, is the strongest. As for grandeur delusions, so far that’s only hit Chaya. Chilli is surprisingly free of it, despite being the single strongest entity on his adoptive world. Including the Demon King, and his strongest general: a literal angel that tanked several full-power explosions from Megumin in Konosuba’s final volume before going down.
>>5340342
He has a goal, and was one of the few beings ‘conscious’ during SKoT’s time freeze at his wedding. He knows how outclassed he still is.
The eldest twins have not only realized the problem, but also a possible solution.
Chaya’s in for an awakening.
>>
>>5340352
They've seen Meloka kick our ass in a spar and we've told multiple people that frieza is stronger.
>>
>>5340359
Yeah, those kids have witnessed so much spousal abuse. Karn is a poor battered husband, with a history of multiple wife-inflicted hospital visits.
>>
>>5340359
>>5340362
Yeah, they’ve seen him lose, sometimes badly, in TRAINING. But in every fight that truly matters, he’s always won. Especially recently, remember the Main Man? Everyone watching the tournament saw him show up and nearly kill Freeza, only to have an ARMY of himself start losing to Karn when he quit ‘holding back’ as it was spun by Vox media.
>>
>>5340370
I firmly believe that was one of the best examples of Karnage. Beware of the Karn with nothing left to lose.

I don't think Karn hates Trunks, I think he's just hopelessly frustrated by him.
They've managed to reach an understanding before, but even that fell by the wayside because Trunks can't stop and think about things critically for once.
