Saiyans. Known throughout the universe as the warrior race, their power and combat prowess proved invaluable in the Covenant's downfall. And with the largest threat to the PTO destroyed, their remnants scattered across space, the universe has been united under one banner. Peace reigns across the galaxy, under the rule of Lord Freeza, Emperor of the Universe. But not all wish it to be this way. Remnants of those who were conquered are gathering in the shadows, increasing their power, and plotting their revenge. Despite this newfound age of peace swiftly spreading across the stars, there are those who would seek its end. Will you be able to stop them, or shall the universe once more be plunged into the fires of war?Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest! This story takes place in an alternate timeline within the greater Dragonball EU. You the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Berserker Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power, widely recognized across the universe as Freeza's close friend and confidant, not to mention his right hand man and General of his forces. From humble beginnings on the now long gone Planet Vegeta, Karn has become the pride of his people, and their greatest champion.Character sheets and other info: https://controlc.com/46ec566dhttps://pastebin.com/u/GrandDragonQMArchive:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=Saiyan+Conqueror+QuestHelp fund quest art commissions here: https://www.patreon.com/GrandDragonQMQuest rules are as follows:>30 minute voting windows>Pick ONLY ONE option when voting(unless otherwise noted)>Dice rolls are all best of first three, only correctly rolled dice pools will count>One dice roll per person per post unless three players have not yet rolled, and ten minutes has passed since your last roll>Crits are 100 on a d100(a 99 or paired rolls may net you an extra bonus)>Crit fails are a 1/100 with no passing rolls, or if two 1s are rolled regardless of the third>Write-ins are both allowed and encouraged, but OOC options will be ignored>I can change any of the above rules at any time for any or no reason>If your goal is simply to troll, at least put in enough effort to make it funny>Have funSCQ will usually start on Saturdays at noon Eastern Standard Time, and run throughout the weekend. >>5340818Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:Karn battled the titanic Abyssal dragon, narrowly killing the monster in a tremendous battle to the death. However, with its defeat the Abyss collapsed in on itself, Meloka rescuing him before he could drown. Back on the surface, Meloka used one of the Blessings Caulifla had gotten from different times, using one to heal Karn from his sustained injuries before allowing Daiko and his team to cut the remains of the melted suit off, as well as the Abyss still clinging to his body. The next day Karn awoke, and after [blank] received a telepathic message from his daughter Chaya. He leaves New Salda behind, teleporting to his daughter with Instant Transmission as she's about to embark planet side, but then the ship is attacked! Shot out of the air, and sent crashing down to the planet below, Karn shields his daughters and Raditz from the impact. And as we rejoin Karn, the flames of the wreckage burning out, you end your Barrier.“Well, that wasn't part of the plan.” Chaya says, rising back up to her feet and dusting herself off casually. “Everyone okay?”“I'm fine.” Caulifla replies, looking around curiously. “What is this place?”“Home of the robots we've been calling the Ancient Gears.” Chaya replies, sharing a look with Raditz. “You know, 'cause of the giant gears in them. Like-”“ARWOOOOOOOOO!!” you all hear in the distance, sounding like some sort of hunting beast. Immediately after the first, at least another dozen howls can be heard, and you feel the hair on the back of your neck standing up.“Looks like they know we're here.” Raditz says flatly, turning to you. “I don't think they'll only target Chaya. What will you do?”Which is a good question. You hadn't exactly planned on being planet side during Chaya's battle. So what will you do?>Have yourself and Caulifla take to the air above the wreckage and try to avoid your eldest's conflict.>Take Caulifla and head deeper into the wreckage, let Chaya and Raditz handle their fighting themselves>Help defend the wreckage of the ship alongside your eldest daughter and Raditz, you're not one to hold back>Let Chaya decide how this plays out. What about you Cauli?”“I'll help!” she replies, clenching her fists and transforming into a Super Saiyan. “HYAAA!”“Here they come.” Raditz says, also shining golden as he transforms. But surprisingly it is Chaya who isn't yet transformed, instead looking off to her right. You follow her gaze and see what looks like a mechanized dog or wolf of some sort. The two are staring each other down, neither moving. Then they both move simultaneously, your daughter charging forward as the beast leaps. “ARWOOOOO!” it howls while charging, your daughter catching it by the neck and spinning once, twice, three times before pitching it straight down.“Die!” Chaya shouts, drawing her right ki-clad fist back before punching. As she swings the energy fires forth from her fist, the cone-like shot of energy traveling down point-first and piercing directly through the hunting beast's body. It lets out a yelp, then its body simply collapses lifelessly. You then hear something to your left and turning see another of them crouching in the wreckage, its attention focused on your daughter Caulifla's back. So, you immediately move, dashing right over beside it while raising your left foot, and stomping down straight on its head. Your kick shatters the rusty metal beast's head, and immediately it powers down and sinks to a resting position. Your daughter turns around, and seeing you smiles. But then her expression changes, and you immediately recognize what that look's about: there's another one behind you.“HAAA!” you shout, twisting and firing a Death Slash where had been directly behind you moments ago. As you twist, you see another of the mechanical beasts leaping directly at you, claws aimed at your back. But your slash bisects the beast, then with a sidestep avoid the two lifeless halves as they crash to the ground where you'd been standing.“HIYAA!” you hear Caulifla shout and turning see her thrusting her lightning spear directly down another beast's throat, its wide cross bars stopping her spear from thrusting too deeply. Sparks dance along the machine beast's body as its gears spin faster and faster, the creature moving more and more erratically until it suddenly explodes! Gears and chunks of metal are sent flying out in all directions and with a back hand you swat aside a piece of jagged metal that spins directly at your face. Turning from her you look around and see Chaya holding two of the wolves by their necks, then smashing their heads together while Raditz fires a pair of beams through another pair of hounds. But they just keep coming.cont
>>5340944You spot another beast stalking up behind your eldest daughter, and without a second's thought charge forward. It leaps at her back as she catches another by the jaws, tearing its head apart as the other leaps at her back. But just as it closes in you catch the beast, grabbing it by the scruff of the neck with your left hand and slamming its head down onto your knee. The beast's head is shattered by the impact, Chaya not even turning around as she no doubt senses your ki. You see another two rushing your way just as they leap, lunging for your chest. So you step forward, slamming a forearm into each of their chests then by swinging your arms together, easily crush the two mechanical beasts. You drop the mangled remains of the creatures, looking around and see the rest backing off, all retreating the same direction.“Ah-H-Hey! Don't you run from me!” Chaya shouts, jumping into the air and gathering her energy into one hand, firing a Scattershot after the retreating beasts. Her energy shots scatter, detonating in a wide area and destroying most of them. But you can see one or two escape, your daughter debating pursuing them but then seemingly changes her mind, dropping back down to the ground by the rest of you. “Well, looks like they flushed us out. No doubt more will be here shortly.”“Agreed. The real fight is about to start.” Raditz says, you glad to see that both of them are using the lessons they've learned about war and battle. “Staying here won't be safe, as they'll be sending reinforcements. But without the ship, we're not going to be able to leave anytime soon.”“Was there a second ship following us?” you ask him, Raditz nodding before adding.“Yes, but it was an hour or so behind us.” he replies, powering back down. “So, we'll have to wait at least that long before escaping off world.”Well? >>5340945“Come on Caulifla, let's take to the air.” you tell her. “This is their fight, let's get out of the way.”“Uhh, oh-okay.” Cauli replies, then rushes over to her sister and gives her a big hug. “Do your best! We're gonna be cheering you on from the air!”“Haha, just you wait!” Chaya replies to her as the two end the hug, pointing her thumb back at herself. “I'm gonna take all of these guys down, just watch me!”“Good luck.” you reply, giving her a nod that she reciprocates as you take to the air. Caulifla follows closely behind you, the two of you flying higher and higher. As you do, you get a good view of the world below, and feel your eyes widen a bit. The entire landscape your ship had crashed into is an odd amalgamation of metal and brick construction, spotlights in the shape of gears illuminating the clouds as the interconnecting gears crank continuously.“Woah. Look at this place.” Caulifla says, shocked. There's gears everywhere! Uh oh, who're they?”“Some of the mechanical soldiers Chaya's here to fight.” you reply, seeing a formation of several dozen mechanical warriors all approaching the shipwreck. Chaya and Raditz can't see them yet, but they clearly know your daughter and her friend are there. Their formation splits, half going around each side of the building in an effort to flank them. But then you sense your daughter's ki swelling, looking over to see her gathering a powerful ball of ki overhead. “What are you doing?”“I'm gonna take them out first!” your daughter exclaims, but you reach out and grab her wrist. “Ah-hey! Wh-What are you doing?”“This isn't our fight kiddo.” you tell her, shaking your head a bit. “Vox built this place for Chaya.”“Wait, what?” she asks you, confused. “I thought these are the robots that attacked us a few days ago?”“They are, yeah.” you reply, then after a quick look around for any of Vox's cameras and not seeing any except the two focused on Chaya below, start explaining. “That was just for show. Vox sent them to our world with King Vegeta's okay, to fight Chaya. She doesn't know this is something he's made, or the fight waiting for her at the end. This is a challenge built specifically for her.”“Ooooooooh, I see.” she replies, and with a thought quickly dispel her gathered energy. “So us fighting would ruin the challenge for her, wouldn't it?”“Yeah, it would.” you reply, and watch as the machine soldiers open fire while those with lances and shields form a defensive wall. Your daughter doesn't hesitate, picking up her sword and charging directly at the closer group while Raditz keeps his distance, charging up a sparking pink orb and lobbing it into the smaller group. His attack bursts directly over the mechanical soldiers, pink lightning dancing throughout the soldiers until they begin exploding one after another.cont
>>5341106Meanwhile, Chaya's approach is far more direct, slamming her sword through the front line's shields and carving a path of destruction through them.“If we directly help her in the fight, that's like us telling her that we don't think she can do it.” you continue. “And I'm sure you know how it feels when someone doubts your talents.”“Yeah...” she replies, her mood immediately darkening a bit as she looks down at her hands. “But why? Why did Tatsu wanna go? Didn't he want to stay with us longer?”“Your grandfather definitely wanted to spend more time with each and every one of us.” you say, remembering how hard she took what happened. “And if he could have stayed longer, he would have.”“But he COULD have.” your daughter counters, a note of frustration in her voice. “I healed him at least every other day, if not every day. Both me an' Triumph.”And as she speaks her Stand's name, she summons it. However, having used that blazing power the day before, her Stand is now inert and simply hovering beside her in its locked sphere mode. She looks at it for a moment, then with a sigh banishes her Stand. Which reminds you that Divine Dragon Force is gone, since you used your Wish, and you aren't sure just how long it will be down for as well. If a Stand user were to attack the pair of you right now, the consequences could be disastrous.“Yes, if he'd kept relying on you to keep his failing body together, he could have clung to life a little longer.” you reply, carefully choosing your words. “But is that how you'd want to live?”“Huh?” she asks, seemingly shocked by your question. “What do you mean?”“Imagine if you were in Tatsu's position, for a moment.” you say, remembering the shape your old man was in before he finally passed on. “Every day waking up in pain, your body falling apart, and the only thing keeping you alive is someone else's power. Not anything you do, but someone else keeping you alive. Would you really want to live like that?”“I..... I never thought about it like that....” Caulifla says after a few moments of silence, looking questioningly down to her hands. Then, more to herself than to you, asks herself, “Could I...?”“That's not a question I hope you'll ever have to decide.” you tell her, laying a hand on her shoulder. “But in the end, your grandfather decided that he couldn't live like that anymore and wanted to go out like a warrior. But he left us with one final lesson.”“He did?” she asks, head whipping around curiously. “What was it?”cont
>>5341107“That we all die, kiddo.” you say, and put both hands on her shoulders and kneel down to draw eye level with your daughter. “Everyone dies, eventually. But what matters is how you live. What you fight for, and when your time comes, how you'll meet your end. He chose to go out fighting, like his ancestors before him. Facing his death directly, and giving it his all.”A moment of silence hangs over the both of you, and in that moment you realize that you don't hear any more sounds of battle from below. Looking down you see that the fight is over, at least for now. Neither Chaya nor Raditz have a scratch on them, you seeing them discussing something a moment before he turns, heading back into the wreckage for something. Meanwhile Chaya looks around, then leaps onto the top of a nearby building. Perched atop the spire she takes in the scenery, then you all watch as the spotlights change their direction. Instead of pointing about randomly in the air, they all start turning, and you see what appears to be a massive fortress get lit up by the lights as it begins rising up from the surrounding city scape. That must be where her fight with Tanya is going to go down.“What is that?” Caulifla asks, pointing at the fortress rising up out of the ground far over even both of your heads. It is a massive thing, walls of stone and metal and with a single massive cannon turret near the top. As you and your daughter watch, several spotlights turn, illuminating Chaya, and the cannon turns towards her. You then realize what's about to happen, but Chaya seems transfixed by the giant fortress. What do you do?>Barrier around yourself and Caulifla, protect her no matter what's about to happen>Take Cauilfla and fly further away, make sure the two of you are well out of range of becoming collateral damage>Fly down to Raditz inside the ship's remains, and shield the three of you with your Barrier while letting Chaya fend for herself>Tell Caulifla to stay behind you, and crank up your Energy Body to shield her from what's about to go down>Other(write in)

Caulifla realizes what you're doing and wraps both of her arms around your left, holding herself tightly to you. Then with a moment's concentration activate your Instant Transmission, teleporting directly to Raditz's side. Your sudden appearance startles him, the warrior immediately gathering two handfuls of ki and whirling towards you, but then seeing you immediately lowers his hands. “Stay close, we're about to take incoming.”Raditz doesn't say anything, simply nodding once before you throw out your arms, activating your Barrier. Emerald ki spreads out from you in a spherical shape, hardening into the familiar unbreakable energy shield around the three of you. Your shield solidifies, and not a moment too soon as suddenly a massive beam of crimson energy crashes against your Barrier. The stream of energy is surprisingly intense, but your shield holds it back easily for the few seconds it exists. Then the beam ends, and you end your Barrier while examining the aftermath of the attack. The ship's ruins are now little more than molten slag, cherry red metal surrounding the small circle of still-intact area that'd been inside your Barrier. But that isn't what you focus on, instead looking up the path of the beam to see how Chaya fared. And to your surprise, she's still floating between you all and the giant cannon. Did she not dodge it?“Was that all you've got?” you hear her shout, golden aura blazing around her form as she shouts defiantly at the fortress. “If that was your best shot, I'm gonna be disappointed!”Then before Chaya realizes what's happening, a giant metal fist rises up from beneath her, punching her full on across the entire back of her body and driving her down out of your sight with a crash.“CHAYA!!” Caulifla shouts, immediately kicking off the ground to go check in on her sister, but you catch her by the ankle. “Daddy?”“She's fine kiddo, a single blow like that won't hurt her very much.” you reply, Caulifla powering back down a bit as you let her go. “Let's get a better vantage point to watch. You coming, Raditz?”cont
>>5341240https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOpzP33_USs“I guess.” he replies after a moment, looking over the wreckage for a moment before following you and your daughter straight up into the air. Once you're able to see over the buildings, you can clearly see your daughter's blazing golden aura beneath the giant's fist, it trying to crush her and grind her to nothing into the ground. But you sense her power abruptly double, and flip the entire giant robot up and over her. She spins it around vertically in the air, then with a savage war cry swing it down into several sturdy-seeming buildings. Which all crumble beneath the war bot's frame, it smashing down all the way to the ground before she lets go. Once it's down she kicks off the ground, soaring into the sky where she hovers over the machine a moment, then like a meteor blazes back down. The giant raises its clawed left arm, trying to swat her out of the air, but your daughter is too fast for it. Her blade flashes, cutting the arm into a dozen pieces before crashing down directly into its chest. The moment she strikes your daughter unleashes her ki, unleashing a fiery explosion that blasts the machine to pieces. Red-hot metal goes everywhere, pieces smashing into several nearby buildings and some even flying up towards your little group. Caulifla reaches out and catches one, a gear with other pieces of metal attached the size of your Berserker fist glowing almost white-hot, but the heat doesn't affect her at all as she looks it over curiously.“I'mma keep this one.” she says idly, and after a moment Chaya blazes back up and out of the downed machine, turning her focus on the giant cannon atop the fortress. And while you can't hear what she says, your daughter throwing her arms wide and gathering golden ki into both hands makes it clear what she's about to do. Looking over at the fortress, you see the cannon beginning to glow scarlet from within, and you recognize that it's about to fire again. Here's hoping Raditz is smart enough to realize that Chaya only beats Tanya on paper.
>>5341243“FINAL FLASH!!” Chaya bellows, firing her massive golden beam as the castle's giant cannon unleashes its titanic blast as well. The crimson and golden energies crash into each other, and to your surprise the cannon immediately begins overpowering your daughter. The cannon reminds you of the Covenant's giant warship lasers, and to your daughter's clear surprise her beam is swiftly overpowered. But then her power suddenly doubles once more, her beam slowly beginning to push that massive attack back.“She's holding her own.” you think to Raditz, glancing aside at him as Chaya continues pushing back. “How well do you think she'll do?”“I think she's going to make it to the final fight without issues.” he replies, eyes narrowing at you as he turns your way. “You seem awfully calm, to be on an enemy planet.”“Well, I did have a talk with Vox, right after his machines attacked my house.” you reply, keeping the conversation telepathic as the fortress's beam ends, Chaya's beam firing directly into the giant, antique-seeming cannon. It detonates as Raditz turns fully towards you, his expression conflicted.“Wait. You know?” he asks aloud, you giving him a small nod. He sighs out, visibly relaxing as Caulifla cheers her older sister on. “Good. I don't have to hide it anymore.”“Hide what?” Caulifla asks him, and immediately he stiffens up and freezes in place.“Don't worry, she already knows.” you say, and again he visibly relaxes. You then continue, resuming the telepathic conversation as she charges towards the fortress. “So, how well do you think she'll fare against Tanya?”“I'm not sure. Even with her new gear, Chaya's stronger and faster. But I think that, either way, she'll be in rough shape when all's said and done.” Raditz replies as several smaller turrets begin firing up at Chaya, your daughter blocking the first barrage of Covenant-style energy projectiles that all shoot her immediately. Her body disappears in the explosions, then after a moment you see her fly up and out of it, punching her Energy Fists down and destroying the turrets below. “Which is why I was looking for the healing chamber, to make sure it survived inside the reinforced chamber. But that giant cannon took care of that. Luckily you brought your daughter along, if things go too wrong.”“Let's hope it doesn't come to that.” you reply, then suddenly Chaya reaches out to the both of you telepathically. Immediately you both end the previous conversation and see what she has to say. Can't give away anything.“I'm going on in.” she replies. “Vox's info said that their leader is inside this fortress, somewhere. So, I'm going on a hunt!”cont
>>5341358“Good luck.” you tell her telepathically. “Give 'em hell kiddo.”“Be safe.” he tells her. “We'll find somewhere to lay low and avoid drawing attention to ourselves until we locate the anti-aircraft cannons that shot down our ship. Then we'll take them out.”“They're gonna regret attacking our home world!” she replies, then ends the mental link as her golden form blasts down out of the air, flying down to land on the roof of the fortress. You watch from a distance as she cuts a hole in the roof with her sword, and dives inside. Once she's out of sight, Raditz turns to the two of you and gestures.“Come on, let's head down to the observation room.” he replies, taking off in the opposite direction of the fortress. Caulifla looks from him to it confused, then looks to you. You just shrug, and as you start following him, she does the same. The three of you fly through the city streets, and after a few seconds you realize that it is no city at all. The mechanical parts have simply been grafted to the stone ruins of another civilization, one no doubt destroyed by either your kin or someone else in the PTO before Vox bought the planet. As you have this realization, Raditz suddenly stops and drops down out of the air, landing beside what looks like one of the Vox transport ships. It has been covered in decorations like the one that attacked your planet and look closer to the 'ancient' aesthetic that these machines have. But as the three of you land, a loading door on the side opens, revealing a half-dozen of Tanya's elite soldiers as they form ranks on either side of the ramp.“General Karn. Caulifla. This is an unexpected surprise.” comes the young girl's voice from inside the ship and after a moment you see her emerging from the shadows. And she's clearly ready for war. She has a pair of rifles on her back, pistols on both hips, and is carrying the same long rifle she'd used against Kars in her hands as she walks down the ramp. “But a pleasant one. With you here, I won't have to worry as much about holding back.”Her last sentence was directed at Caulifla, who's still holding that piece of the machine she'd caught. Only now that it has cooled off, you realize that it isn't just a gear. But a tiny machine, with its own arms, legs, and head.“Wait, you're gonna fight big sis?” Caulifla asks her, brows furrowed in confusion. “I thought she was gonna be fighting these big machines?”“She will, but they're just the warmup.” Tanya replies, gesturing to the machine your daughter is holding. “They're no more a threat to her, if she pays attention and fights seriously, than that one in your hand is to you. So, once she's battled the dragon, it'll be my turn.”cont
>>5341363“Wait, there's a dragon?!” Caulifla asks her, excitement apparent in her voice as she bounces up and down. “I wanna see it!”“The monitors have all been set up inside, you all will be able to watch the battle unfold from here.” she replies, then turns fully to you as Caulifla runs off inside. “You will be staying here for the duration of the fight, won't you?”Her face is unreadable, no hints of any emotions in her voice as she speaks. >>5341370You stare her down for several seconds, not saying anything as you try gauging her. But the young soldier doesn't crack, giving nothing away.“I'll only get involved to save either of your lives, nothing more.” you tell her seriously, then say nothing else. She narrows her eyes, trying to gauge something in your expression. But after a moment she must find what she's looking for, and snapping her heels together gives you a salute.“General.” is all she says, turning on a heel and crouching to leap off the ground. The blood-red gem on the back of her suit begins glowing golden, then she kicks off the ground. The soldiers all follow her, you and Raditz watching as they quickly disappear into the air.“Shall we go?” Raditz asks you, turning back towards the loading ramp. You nod to him, the two of you walking inside. As you enter the ship, you notice the two guards standing on either side of the ramp at attention, and as you both enter one hits a button. The ramp immediately retracts and the door seals shut, you looking around for your daughter.“Woah!” she shouts excitedly, you turning and seeing her sitting on a rather comfortable-looking long couch. And before her are a spread of over a dozen screens, many showing dark rooms. But on one you see your daughter Chaya swinging her sword through more of the metal knights. “Go sis, go! You can do it!”“This is...unexpectedly nice.” Raditz comments as he looks around the room. “Most of Dreadzone isn't this...lavish.”“Must be Tanya's tastes.” you say, walking over to the long couch and sitting in the middle beside your daughter to watch the fighting go down.“HAAAA!” Chaya roars, swinging her two-handed sword through a pair of machine soldiers. Her blade cleaves through them, shields and all, sending sparks flying out across several other machine fighters. “HRRYAAA!”You watch as she cuts her way through the two dozen or so mechanical soldiers, dodging their lances while cutting through them with her sword. She doesn't even bother using her fists or feet, entirely using the Djem So technique that you'd taught her to cut through them. You feel a smirk coming to your face as she cuts down the last one with a powerful overhead, bisecting the machine. It falls into two halves, joining the pile of spare parts on the ground as Chaya sighs, resting her sword on her shoulder while wiping her forehead on the back of her glove.“Whew. There sure are a lot of these guys.” she says to herself, surveying the room a moment before turning towards the far door. “Alright, let's see what's behind here!”cont
>>5341562You watch as she thrusts her giant sword's tip into the gap of the sliding door, then with a grunt she begins prying it open. But then as she does, suddenly several explosions go off, blasting her away.“Gyah! What the hell?!” she exclaims, crashing to her back in the pile of machine parts before rolling back to her feet. Then something shoves what looks like several cannon barrels through the gap, tearing it open then shoving all of the barrels in. “Oh, it's a you!“KIIIIIIIIN!” the machine screeches somehow, firing a barrage of rockets into the room. Chaya doesn't hesitate, thrusting her sword down into the metal scrap covering the floor and sweeps a bunch of them into the air between them. The rockets explode against the machine parts, filling the room full of explosions. But Chaya surges forward into the blasts, and you see her leap with her sword held overhead. Then she comes through the explosions, and before the machine can react she swings down, cutting off its head, right arm, and right wing with a single strike. The destroyed machine drops, Chaya taking a small hop over its body into the next room. Which is nearly three times the size of the last, with a half dozen other bird-like machines all staring at her. Then as one, they screech and fire their missiles as well. “KIIIIIIIIIN!!”“Shit!” Chaya shouts, immediately sprinting forward towards the approaching shots before they can corner her, and leaps into the air, dodging the rest. She flips once, and landing before the one in the far corner swings twice horizontally, forehand and backhand to third the machine. Her first swipe decapitates it, and the backhand severs its legs from the torso as she reaches out and grabs it. With the torso in hand she twists her upper body counterclockwise, pitching the torso at the trio standing in the center of the room before dashing at the one in the corner to her right. With a single overhead she bisects this one, and as she does the one at the far end of the room fires again. Its missiles swarm around the trio in the middle, your daughter waiting until they're close before back flipping into the air. The missiles all explode against the bisected machine, Chaya twisting around midair and pitching her sword at the far robot.“KIIII-!” it screeches, until her blade slams into its face, piercing through and pinning it to the wall as she gathers her ki into her heel for something unique.cont
>>5341568“Ultra Crescent! DANCE!” Chaya shouts, raising her right leg for a powerful axe kick then dropping. As she does, the ki from her foot trails behind, forming a blade similar to your own Death Slash. She drops down through the middle robot, bisecting it with her energy cleanly. But instead of smashing her heel into the ground, she surprises you by landing only on her left foot and twisting around into a spinning roundhouse. The blade from her foot follows her path, expanding out from the force of her spin and slashing into the two remaining machines repeatedly as she spins in place over a dozen times. Her attack slashes them to pieces, the chunks of broken machine dropping to the ground around her as she stops her spin, the remains of the energy rapidly fading away into nothing as she lowers her foot to the ground.“WOAH! SO COOOOL!!” Caulifla shouts excitedly, turning to you. “Sis is so cool when she fights! >>5341572“Her techniques look all flashy for the camera, but you shouldn't fight like that.” you say, Caulifla looking towards you confused. “You shouldn't copy fighting like that.”“Why not?” she asks you genuinely, glancing over to the screen as she draws her sword from the one pinned to the wall and walks over towards the next sealed door.“It only seems to work because she's so much stronger than her opponents.” you say as Chaya starts prying the next door open. “A smart or faster opponent would simply disengage when she goes for such a flashy technique, or grab her by the leg and inflict some serious damage.”“Your sister isn't fighting these things seriously.” Raditz speaks up from the other side of the couch, your daughter looking past you towards him curiously. “She's fighting to entertain the audience watching her fights, and going for big, flashy moves that will get them reacting. Just like you did.”“Like I did? Wait...” your daughter says, realizing what just happened. “She's doing that on purpose?”“Absolutely. She's put in a lot of work to make her technique as flashy and entertaining as possible.” Raditz continues, gesturing back to the screen. You all look, watching as she opens the door to an even wider, double story room. On the level she opened up to, there are several of the knights, as well as dozens of soldiers driving single-operator vehicles with smaller versions of what look like the fortress's cannon mounted on the front. As she shoves the door open the tanks all fire, two dozen crimson beams the size of your fist blast towards your daughter. Who, clearly recognizing the danger leaps aside, only for the machines on the balcony above to open fire. Dozens of regular soldiers stand next to quadrupedal machines built around giant crossbows and with crossbows for hands, firing a swarm of projectiles down all over that side of the room. “Even here, she'll go for style instead of practicality.“Pursuer!” your eldest shouts, and with a faint glow around the bladed ring on her right hand's ring finger through her glove, the sword's spectral defender appears. With its giant shield the corporeal phantom blocks the swarm of physical projectiles raining down from the second level as the tanks end their beams, slowly reorienting on your daughter. Who points her sword up and shouts out; “Take them down!”Wordlessly the spectral suit of armor flies up, directly at the group your daughter'd pointed out shield first. The machines change their target from her to it, giving her time to attack the machines on the first floor first.“What's so impractical about that?” Caulifla asks you both, her tone one of genuine confusion. “Isn't splitting them up like that that a good idea?”cont
>>5341744“It isn't a BAD idea.” you correct, gesturing to the room. “But staying down on the bottom floor is. Her best bet would have been to cut them all down on the first floor with that kicking Death Slash she has, then leapt up to the top floor and done it again. Or if she were trying to conserve power, use her phantom as a shield to get up to the second floor immediately, and use it to cover her while cutting the ones up there down as swiftly as possible.”“Those tanks seem rather slow to turn, so despite their power they are the least-threatening weapon in the room.” Raditz says, gesturing as she rushes into their midst and starts swinging her sword. The tanks are too slow to turn on her in time, allowing your daughter to cut a path of destruction through the middle of them. Which leaves the weapons all pointed at each other, instead of at the door like they were originally. Meanwhile the crossbow and gun wielders on the second floor are shooting away at her Pursuer, most of their shots glancing off of the phantom's heavy-seeming metal armor. Each swing of its spectral sword fells another machine, it moves methodically and without flare as each attack is the minimum movement necessary to inflict maximal damage. But some of the shots and bolts stick into the phantom, especially a ballista bolt the width of your forearm fired from the body of one across the room. It pierces clean through Chaya's phantom under its right arm as it draws back for a swing, staggering the spectral warrior for a couple seconds in which it is pelted by several other projectiles. “And her phantom warrior bound to that sword is powerful, but only against threats that it can face head-on. It is clearly far weaker to damage from the sides and back, where its bulky shield can't block.”“Ohhh, I get it.” Caulifla says, understanding dawning. “She's underestimating them, and not thinking super strategic-er-ally!”“Haha, basically kiddo.” you say, ruffling her hair as her mispronunciation brings a small grin to your face. But then her face scrunches up a bit as she has a thought, and after a moment mulling it over asks you.“So why aren't you telling her to fix it?” she asks you seriously. “When we're all trainin', you always point out our mistakes so we can improve. >>5341746"Because this isn't training." you tell Caulifla, turning back to the screen as you keep talking. "She isn't trying to improve her technique here or get better at fighting. She's just putting on a show for her fans, who very clearly aren't fighters themselves. Instead, they are people who can't fight themselves and just want to see her showing off with flashy techniques they wish they could do.”“Exactly.” Raditz adds as Chaya cuts through the rest of the fighters on the first floor while her Pursuer methodically cuts down those above. “Most of Dreadzone's audience aren't fighters. Most are people who spend their days gazing at screens, watching others fight and imagining they can one day do the same thing without ever pushing themselves to reach that goal.”“But they could, if they spent the time to get out and try.” your daughter counters, looking between you both confused. “Anyone can get stronger, even the strongest like Daddy and Lord Freeza can continue getting stronger an' stronger.”“You only say that because you have been training for your entire life, surrounded by others who've done the same.” Raditz counters, your daughter turning to look at him as he continues. “For most of the universe, they don't live like we Saiyans do. Their worlds are planets without conflict, without the fighting that has shaped our warrior race into the strongest fighters in the universe. They lay around, doing nothing important with their lives and live vicariously through other beings they see on screens. They don't know what it is like to push themselves, to feel their muscles come alive as they push the limits of what their bodies are capable of. They don't even know what it is like to take a punch, much less fight.”At this Caulifla has nothing to say, and from what you can see she's staring at him, slack jawed. This is probably her first time hearing how a lot of the 'civilized' universe lives. You've seen them before, even when stationed on Freeza Planet 79 early in your career you'd seen a lot of them. Those whose only goal was to do their menial jobs and spend the rest of their spare time idly, seeking pleasure in different things but not actually bettering themselves.“But...Why?” she finally asks, looking from Raditz back to you in confusion. “Why? That sounds so.... boring.”“I agree. I couldn't live like that.” you say, your daughter turning to you for guidance. “But how other people choose to live should never affect you. You should live your life how you see fit. But you have to keep one thing in mind.”“What's that?” she asks, you taking this opportunity to drill the core of your father's teachings into her.cont
>>5341919“What you want only matters, and I do mean ONLY matters, if you can defend it.” you tell her seriously, holding one finger up to stress this singular point. “The most important thing in the universe is your own might. The strong make the rules, and the weak either obey them or are killed for their defiance. You have to be strong enough to stop any and everyone who'd try and take your ability to live your life as you see fit away. So you have to be strong, Cauilfla. Strong enough to live your life as you see fit. Because people will challenge that strength, and try to force you to kneel to them.”“Like that Time Kai!” she exclaims, getting it. “She doesn't want us to live at all. So we have to be strong enough to tell her jerks no, and beat them up until they leave us alone.”“Exactly.” you say with a chuckle, ruffling her hair. “Exactly. As long as she's out there, keeping your Auntie Towa and your half siblings from living here in with us, I won't quit getting stronger. As long as people like Nefarious, the Prophets, and other bastards want to see us all dead, I'll keep pushing myself to get greater and greater power. Until I'm stronger than all of them, I'll never quit kiddo.”“I'mma keep getting stronger too!” Caulifla declares, rising up to her feet. “I'mma get stronger an' stronger, until I'm strong enough to fight those jerks right beside you an Momma!”“Hahaha, that's the spirit!” you say, patting her on the back before adding, in a fake-serious tone. “But I'm not gonna make that easy for you. You're gonna have to work extra hard if you want to catch up.”“I will! I'll never give up!” she declares boldly, then freezes as she sees something on the screens that catch her eye. You turn your head, and feel your own eyes widen as well. It seems the battle is about to change. “Woah! Look, it really is a dragon!”And, sure enough, there is in fact a titanic metal dragon staring your daughter down. Three of the colossal beings are all kneeling to the dragon, each holding a gear being like the one Caulifla has. Except they're each a different color, the red, green, and yellow gear creatures all suddenly leaping up from the outstretched hands of the giants. Purple bolts of lightning shoot out from the dragon, striking each of the gears and drawing them into its body. Through the cameras recording, as Vox has two separate angles on the giant arena-like room, you hear the sound of gears beginning to turn. The dragon's three purple eye suddenly begin to glow, and the titanic beast unleashes a powerful war cry. And as it does, you feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsgtF5hnPHM
>>5341927As the giant metal dragon roars, it unleashes a storm of energy from its body. The purple lightning strikes each of the metal golems, the titans all begin rising as one. But then the two on the ends start falling apart, their pieces flying towards the one in the middle. Metal crashes against metal, heavy gears whirring and grinding against each other as the three giants begin combining! The arms and legs, along with many of the gears from the other two combine into the center machine. The transformation only takes a few seconds, and with a final burst of purple lightning from the dragon its eye lights up, and the new combination machine rises!“Woah.” you hear Caulifla say, Raditz whistling as he sees the absolute scale of this new monstrosity. Its size dwarfs even the dragon hanging suspended behind it, raising all six of its arms as it starts stepping forward with all six legs towards your daughter.“It is an impressive-looking machine.” you think to yourself as your daughter takes the Djem So stance you'd taught her with her sword, legs spaced apart correctly with the blade held at the ready at a slight angle. “Which will make it seem all the greater achievement when its destroyed.”“Bring it on!” your daughter roars, golden aura blazing as blue sparks dance around her Ascended form. >>5341930Chaya stares down the approaching multi-limbed machine titan, quickly looking it over for weaknesses she can exploit. Then with a smirk she crouches a bit further, readying herself to attack. The giant feet of the machine continue stomping towards her, but then to your surprise draws back one of its right fists. And then even more to your surprise it throws a very out of range punch and actually FIRING the heavy fists down towards your daughter with rockets embedded in the back! You can clearly see the shock on her face for a moment, but then she simply smirks and leaps. Not towards the machine itself, but directly into the air to draw level with its head while holding the sword to her right side. No doubt planning a single decapitating strike, but then the missile fist's trajectory changes: it is actually tracking your daughter's movements!“Woah!” she exclaims in surprise, changing her strategy and dashing directly at the giant golem's torso. The fist follows her of course, your daughter dodging the titan's clumsy-seeming giant hands and swinging her blade down between two of the closest gears. “HAAAA!”Aura blazing, Chaya actually stops them from moving for a moment. The titan's torso makes several awful-sounding grinding noises as it tries swiping her off its chest, but then she draws her sword back out and drops towards the ground just in time to dodge the missile of a fist, it crashing directly into the giant's torso. Struck with its own heavy blow, the machine staggers back several giant steps. Distracted, it doesn't see your daughter once again assuming the Djem So stance, right at the knee joint of its front right leg. Your daughter performs the overhead heavy blow perfectly, her blade cutting right through the machine's knee joint in a spray of sparks.“HRRAAAAA!!” she bellows, sword cleaving clean through the metal limb. With a third of its support on its right side now gone, the already-staggered machine crashes straight down, metal lower body slamming down into and through the metal floor, sticking it in place. “Got you now!”But the machine isn't done yet. Or, rather, the dragon clearly puppetteering the machine isn't done yet. With another roar and burst of lightning, it sends its own power into the giant's left hands, all nine claws glowing and sparking with power. The golem swings all three left arms in rapid succession, firing nine wide electrical Death Slash-like blades down towards her at differing angles. Your daughter spins and dashes past the attacks, which carve deep, red-hot slashes in the wall behind Chaya. If even one of those had hit, that attack would have no doubt done serious damage to her.cont
>>5342530But as it loses that power, your daughter once more goes on the attack. Kicking off the ground she closes the distance in a blink, flipping forward once to build momentum before bringing the blade down through the giant's top left arm in a weird, but surprisingly effective-seeming combination of Djem So's power and Su Ma's movement. Her blade sends another shower of sparks everywhere as she cleaves another limb, the giant now down to only five arms and legs each. However, with the loss of that weight, the machine is able to once more rise up off the ground, torso rotating on its legs as it turns around to track your daughter. But the giant is no longer her target.“Come here you big turkey!” she shouts, charging up at the dragon with her sword held down by her right side. “Your turn!”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsgtF5hnPHM Once more the dragon roars, this time firing its purple lightning out from it in all directions. And, unfortunately for her, the giant metal sword in her hand attracts a lot of it, drawing the blast directly at her.“GYAAAAAAAAAA!!” Chaya screams as she's electrocuted, the force behind the dragon's attack sending her flying back. Her body narrowly avoids slamming into the giant, soaring past it to slam back-first into the already-weakened wall. She hits hard enough to dent the wall with her outline, embedding her in the metal. Then, before she can pull herself free, the giant fires another fist at her. The second projectile right slams into her, the already-weakened wall crumpling and falling down atop her. Chaya is buried in the rubble along with the giant fist, and for a moment you feel a tinge of worry. A blast like that had to have hurt.“CHAYA!!” Caulifla shouts out, bounding up to her feet in worry. But then she sees the rubble stirring, and freezes in place. Sure enough, after a moment of silence Chaya rises up, a furious scowl on her face. “Oh, she's okay!”“Alright, that one hurt.” she snarls, aura suddenly blazing back to life up around her as she grits her teeth. “Now it's my turn.”“Go sis, go! Beat up those stupid robots!” Caulifla cheers, but you look at her closer. You see what appear to be lightning-shaped burns on her arms, from up under her gloves almost all the way up to her shoulders which look quite painful. She can't take many more shots like that. “You can do it!”Chaya then explodes off the ground like a reverse meteor impact, shooting through the air directly at the giant golem. It raises two arms up, one trying to claw her while the other swings its heavy fist. But your eldest is done playing around, and instead of dodging the machine's arms simply cuts her way through both of them with two swings and a roar of, “OUT OF MY WAAAY!!”cont
>>5342533Cleaving a path through the giant's limbs, Chaya comes face-to-face with the giant. And without hesitation keeps charging forward, thrusting the heavy blade of her sword directly into the three glowing orbs of its left eyes. But she doesn't stop there, the force of her charge taking her through the giant machine's head completely. The whirring gears grind to a halt, then like a puppet with its strings cut or a jar shattering and spilling its contents everywhere, the machine giant simply collapses into pieces. In less than twenty seconds the entire titan is no more than a pile of scrap parts, leaving only Chaya and the dragon left.“Now its your turn. I hope you're ready to-” Chaya starts, then you all hear it. The familiar sound of a Covenant cannon firing, and Chaya instantly moves. She dashes straight back from the source of the sound, and a moment later a giant beam of energy pierces through the ceiling directly above the metal dragon. It roars one last time as the beam consumes it, the space-fired laser obliterating it in a single shot. But then the entire fortress trembles, and begins falling apart! The dragon and its power were seemingly keeping the entire thing held together, and now that its gone the fortress begins collapsing around your daughter!“Get out of there Chaya!” Caulifla shouts at the screen, completely entranced by what's happening. You all watch as she dashes immediately towards the hole the space beam had cut, flying up and out through it as the building comes down around her. All the screens go blank for a second, then one lights up with a distance shot of Chaya escaping the crumbling building, before the whole thing is consumed by a cloud of dust. Again the screens all go dark, another one lighting up with what you assume to be her scouter's feed, a whole bunch of text flying rapidly over it. You can't read a single word, but then other cameras activate, revealing a single golden glowing figure descending down towards the wreckage. But it isn't Chaya, as the aura is different than anything you've ever seen, and Chaya's scouter shows she's still in the dust cloud coughing on it. “Wait, hold on. Isn't that Tanya?”“Yeah.” Raditz says, and you can almost feel the tension in the air as the two strongest warriors of Dreadzone lock gazes. “Now the real battle begins.”“Wait, real battle?” Caulifla asks him, confused. “I thought she was on our side. What are you doing here?” Chaya asks as Tanya hovers over her, looking down on her.“Today is the day.” the soldier says, looking down her nose at your daughter. “I no longer need you, so it is time for you to go.”“Oh, so you wanna challenge me.” Chaya says, smirking confidently. “Alright, I accept. Let's do thi-!”“Fire.” Tanya orders coldly, then suddenly dozens of shots fire out from all sides. Your daughter doesn't hesitate, back flipping away from Tanya and the shots fired. Your daughter spins while flipping, firing Death Beams from her left hand's pointer finger. Her beams take down three of the soldiers before she lands in front of a fourth, it trying to immediately run her through with the rifle's bayonet. Chaya leans her head aside, only taking a scratch to the right cheek before swinging her sword up, bisecting the more humanoid machine straight down the middle. With her swing's force Chaya leaps up into the air, turning to face the remainder of Tanya's soldiers only for the woman herself to fire. And her cannon is just as devastating as you remember.“Perish!” Tanya roars, unleashing a devastating beam of energy. Chaya sees it coming, and with no time to avoid it braces herself behind her sword. Tanya's blast consumes Chaya, enveloping her completely and sending your daughter crashing down into the fortress's ruins below.“CHAYA!” Caulifla shouts, leaping up to her feet again beside you in a panic.“She's still intact.” Raditz says, no doubt sensing her ki as well as Tanya's beam ends. The attack hurt her, cutting her power sharply, but she's still in this. “But there's no way she can take many more shots like that. She's got a Covenant glassing cannon in her hands there, somehow.”Chaya then pitches her sword up at Tanya from her new crater, the massive blade spinning end over end even faster than Tanya's beam had moved. The flying soldier can only raise her weapon to defend herself, with no time to avoid it, and the two weapons collide. Chaya's sword crashes against the rifle with devastating impact, her sword shattering the weapon and striking the smaller girl in the chest!cont
>>5342697With the majority of its power burned out against the weapon, the blade strikes but doesn't cut Tanya. However, the sword's weight behind Chaya's throw sends her flying back, tumbling through the air as Chaya explodes up and out of her crater. Golden ki blazing around her, your daughter blitzes directly up to her weapon.“Shoot her down!” Tanya snarls as she rights herself, drawing a second rifle off her back as the rest of the soldiers start firing up at your daughter. Chaya dodges through the air, firing Death Beams down and killing the remaining soldiers in a matter of seconds. As she kills the final one, Tanya levels the weapon at Chaya and sights her in. “Tch! If you want someone taken down, you have to do it yourself!”“Haaah, haaah. Bring it!” Chaya roars, Ascended aura blazing up around her as she draws her sword back, readying herself for a direct, forward charge. “I won't! Lose!”“She looks hurt. She's soaring back away from Chaya through the air, her rifle firing beam after powerful beam. Your daughter dodges through the barrage of green energy shots, swatting those aside with her sword that she can't avoid. “Let's just watch and see.”“Remember who she is?” Caulifla asks, but your attention is fully on the fight and you don't hear her question. Tanya is in a full retreat, maintaining her distance while firing a barrage of energy at your daughter. But as the fly, you realize something: Chaya's not flying at full speed. She's maintaining distance, not closing in while her opponent continues shooting. That is, until Tanya's weapon runs empty. She pulls the trigger and nothing happens, your daughter grinning and blitzing forward.“GOTCHA!!” Chaya roars, blitzing forward, and drawing her sword overhead for a powerful swing. Seeing you coming Tanya pitches her weapon bayonet-first at your daughter, forcing her to swing early and smash the rifle to avoid taking the hit herself. Meanwhile Tanya draws her third rifle, the one with the chainsaw for a bayonet, and immediately begins channeling her golden energy into the weapon. Traces of gold illuminate the rifle as she revs the saw, it revving to life menacingly as she draws it back. Chaya draws her own weapon back by her right side, and the two suddenly charge directly for each other. “HRRRAAAAAAA!!!”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2xxL3JxJ7c“AAAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAA!!” Tanya laughs maniacally, the two swinging their weapons at each other. Sword strikes gun, the magically-enhanced weapons clashing in a blaze of sparks as they push against each other. “I'm DONE playing second-fiddle to you! From now on, I'LL be the one calling the shots!”“You'll have to beat me first!” Chaya shouts, back, gritting her teeth as she struggles against the smaller soldier. “And I won't lose!”But as Chaya pushes, you see that Tanya's saw is actually cutting through Chaya's sword! But by the time she notices it, its too late, as with a triumphant metal shearing noise shout Tanya's weapon cleaves fully through your daughter's sword! Chaya's force without any more resistance sends her forward, directly into the magically-enhanced teeth of Tanya's saw. Blood sprays and Chaya screams as the saw cuts deep into the right side your daughter's face.cont
>>5342804“GYAAAAAAAAH!!” Chaya screams out in agony, her ki blasting out from her in an unfocused Explosive Wave that sends Tanya flying back. But the experienced soldier takes it in stride, flipping backwards once and shifting her grip on the rifle to begin unleashing a storm of bullets. Several strike Chaya as her wave ends, your daughter flinching at every hit before gathering a mass of unstable energy and flinging it towards Tanya. Instead of a beam or an orb, her energy forms what looks like an expanding wall, forcing the young soldier to boost higher into the sky to avoid the attack. But looking at Chaya's face from the view of another camera, you see that Tanya's attack got her good. Her face is a mess of blood and you can't tell exactly where the saw hit, but your daughter's only able to see out of her left eye now. You can't tell if the right was damaged by the spinning blades or not, or if is only closed to keep it from filling with blood.“Oh no, I gotta help her!” Caulifla says, turning to you and grabbing your arm with both hands. “Hurry Daddy, take us to her! I gotta fix her, quick!”Well? Your sister isn't out of this fight yet, not by a long shot.”“She's in trouble!” your daughter counters as Tanya clears the warbling energy wall, sighting your eldest in as she once more unleashes a storm of bullets. “We gotta help her!”“Being injured like that might be just what she needs.” Raditz comments, Caulifla whirling on him. “She's been underestimating Tanya so far.”“He's right kiddo.” you add, Caulifla whirling back towards you with a mix of shock and anger. “Now she knows that Degurechaff isn't someone she can keep holding back against. After a hit like that, your sister no doubt realizes that she's in trouble. With her back against the wall like this, I believe she'll start fighting like she means it.”“HAAAA!!” Chaya roars, pitching the remains of her sword up at Tanya. Who dashes aside and effortlessly dodges, keeping up the stream of magically-enhanced projectiles. Your bleeding daughter dodges around the hail of bullets, weaving in and out of them with the Su Ma flips and spins. Yet despite making herself such a difficult target to hit, Tanya's aim is never far off. Your daughter doesn't get a second's breath for over a minute, when once again the smaller combatant's weapon hits empty. “NOW!!”With a roar Chaya explodes upward, blitzing the soldier. Who doesn't seem concerned, instead once more revving her gun's bayonet as magical-seeming flames begin lighting up around the rapidly-spinning toothy blade.“Back for more? Eat this!!” Tanya shouts, swinging her blade for your daughter's head as she closes in. Chaya doesn't even try dodging the saw, instead raising her right forearm to intercept the saw's blade. “WHAT?!”“HRRAAAAAAA!!” Chaya roars, Tanya's saw cutting deep into her right forearm and spraying blood everywhere as your daughter swings her left fist, crashing into the smaller woman's guts.“GUUYAAAH!” Tanya exclaims, expelling blood as Chaya's punch connects. The force is too much for the smaller soldier to withstand, her body sent flying towards the ground. But her saw is lodged into Chaya's arm, your daughter grabbing onto it with a wince.“GRRAAA!” Chaya snarls, tearing free and pitching the weapon away from the newly-formed crater Tanya's body made before powering up, golden Ascended aura blazing. “HRRAAAAAAAA!!!”“This is it.” you think to yourself, feeling your daughter's ki dropping by the second. She has to end this now, or she'll be in real trouble.cont
>>5342941“MY TURN!!” Chaya roars, gathering her energy into a rapidly-expanding orb between her trembling hands. She holds them both up over her head as the attack grows larger and larger, forming an attack larger than even that colossal combined machine she'd destroyed. “I'll show you what REAL power looks like!”As your daughter gathers more and more ki, you sense Tanya's energy completely vanish. For a moment you're worried that Chaya's punch actually killed her, but then she goes on the attack! A pair of surprisingly large, green energy shots are fired up from the crater at Chaya. One strikes your daughter's completely defenseless form, hitting her directly in her exposed abs. But the other hits her massive energy attack, and is seemingly consumed. But you can feel her energy go wild, it's gonna blow!“Wh-What?!” Chaya exclaims in shock, looking up at her energy as it starts running wild. “SHI-!!”But before your daughter can finish her sentence, or throw the energy orb away, it detonates directly above her.KABOOOOOOOOOMEvery screen goes white, you feeling the planet beneath your feet trembling as the massive attack detonates.“CHAYAAAAAA!!” Caulifla cries out, actually reaching out towards the screens as her sister's body vanishes within the blast. As the screens all white out, she drops down to her knees, watching them wide-eyed in shock. Even Raditz appears shaken up by what happened, his own jaw hanging a bit slack. “No.....”“No way...” Raditz says, slumping into the couch. “Did she...?”With your focus now exclusively on Chaya's ki sense, you can tell she survived the blast. But she's not doing good. Her energy has been cut down to a third, and still dropping further by the second. If she doesn't get medical help, and soon, she could be in serious trouble. The screens slowly re-focus, colors returning to show the aftermath of Chaya's attack literally blowing up in her face. The ground has been cratered, forming a shallow bowl where that whole area of the city had been. But you only see one figure, Tanya hovering above the crater and surveying the aftermath with a smallish pistol in either hand.“She's still alive.” you say, your daughter immediately sighing in relief at your words. “But that blast hurt her. I don't think she's going to be able to fight anymore today.”“Come on sis, get up.” you hear Caulifla mutter, hands clutched to her chest as tears actually begin streaking down her face. “You've gotta be okay, you just gotta.”And as if she can hear her daughter's murmurs, you see movement from down in the hole as a bloody, battered, yet unbroken figure rises up out of the ground.cont
>>5342943“CHAYA!!” Caulifla exclaims, shouting triumphantly and leaping up into the air as she sees her sister rise once more. But she looks like hell. Her armor, scouter, and most of her clothes have been blasted apart, the ragged scraps still clinging to her looking just as rough as your daughter beneath them. Her arms are still covered in lightning-shaped marks up and down them, the right side of her face is a mask of blood, and her right arm from forearm down is a glove of red blood. But she's still standing, glaring up at Tanya with her one good eye. “Come on Chaya, you can do it! Don't give up!!”“You-You can still move?” Tanya asks, leveling her pistols at Chaya as she still looks down on your daughter. But you can sense a hint of fear in her voice, despite how confident she's trying to act.“I'm not. Giving. Up.” your daughter declares between breaths, clenching her fists and blazing her aura up once more. Sparks dance around Chaya's beaten and battered frame, your daughter gritting her teeth. “You tried to kill me. Now. You're. Dead.”Panicked by your daughter's declaration, Tanya immediately opens fire on Chaya. Who ignores the shots, instead dashing directly through the incoming swarm. This catches Tanya by surprise, and she's completely unprepared as your daughter almost instantly closes the gap. Before Tanya can make space, your daughter closes in and unleashes her final attack.“HRRAAAA!!” Chaya roars, thrusting her Piercing Fist-clad left directly at Tanya's chest. The woman tries to evade, to dodge the devastating punch, but Chaya's attack still hits Tanya in the right side of her chest. Your daughter's ki pierces straight through, Chaya punching a hole right through the other woman's chest!“Guuaaa!” Tanya exclaims, coughing up blood as she meets your daughter's eyes. Then she grins, blood dripping down her chin as she puts both pistols' barrels against Chaya's head! “Y-You lose!”And fires. Over and over again. Your daughter screams in pain as she takes a barrage of point-blank shots to the face, Tanya firing until the guns run empty then drops her pistols as Chaya starts falling to the ground, drawing a knife from behind her back and lunging with her full weight behind the blade. “Die!” Tanya shouts maniacally, eyes wide and crazy as she goes for the killing blow. If you don't stop this now, she'll kill her!“Hold on!” you shout to Caulifla, grabbing her by the arm with your left while raising your right to your forehead. And without even a conscious thought teleport, reappearing between the two combatants. The instant you do, her knife stabs through your armor, and to your surprise pierces through your own abdominal.cont
>>5342945“Enough.” you tell her, reaching down with your right hand and grabbing her hands and knife, slowly pulling the weapon free as Chaya hits the ground behind you with a thud. “This fight is over.”“CHAYA!!” Caulifla shouts, taking her healing bell out as she kneels beside her older sister. “Don't worry, I'm gonna help you!”“C-Cau...Li?” Chaya asks, then her good eye rolls back into her head as she passes out.“Heal them both Cauli.” you say, landing beside your daughters before letting go of Tanya's hands. She quickly puts the knife back away, but despite the hole in her chest manages to remain standing within the golden magical circle surrounding the four of you. Unsteadily, and swaying on her feet as Caulifla quickly murmurs the words to her healing magic, but still standing nonetheless. Then with a final syllable, golden magical energy almost identical to Tanya's floods out from Caulifla's hands holding the bell. The warm light seeps into you, healing your newly-acquired stab wound almost instantly. Meanwhile her energy washes over the two fighters, patching the hole in Tanya's chest, the vicious saw cut in Chaya's arm, and you hope the slash to her face, as well as the burns from the several point-blank shots she took. But it's hard to tell, considering your daughter's body is soaked in mostly her own blood.“I did it.” Tanya says, having turned to the nearest floating camera. “Bear witness: I, General Tanya Degurechaff, defeated the former champion Chaya!”But what do you do now?>Try and wake Chaya up, and let her know what happened before leaving this planet behind>Take Chaya and Caulifla, as well as Raditz all back home to New Salda. >>5342947"C'mon Cauli, let's leave her to her celebration." you say, kneeling down beside CHaya's unconcsiouc, bloody form. "Let's go home."“Yeah, le-Wait!” she suddenly exclaims, blasting off away from you all. Even Tanya looks back a bit confused, but quickly turns back to her victory speech to the fleet of cameras. You ignore the three or so focused on you and Chaya, instead checking her over and making sure she's actually okay. Gingerly you inspect her wounds with a finger, and sure enough the most egregious ones are sealed. But she's still losing power, so you lay your left hand on her right over her heart, and start pouring a steady trickle of your own ki into her. After a few seconds Chaya's energy, absorbing your own, levels out and quits dropping. You sigh in relief, looking down at your unconscious daughter's blood-soaked face when suddenly Caulifla lands back down beside you, holding something. Looking up, you see she's holding the severed halves of Chaya's sword. “She might want Chilli to fix this, when she wakes up.”“Good thinking kiddo.” you say, reaching out with your right hand and ruffling her hair before returning it to your forehead. “Let's go home.”“Yeah.” she replies, holding onto your left arm, and with a moment's thought vanish. One instant you're kneeling in a crater, the next you, Cauli, and Chaya are back inside the room you'd observed the fight from, Raditz reaching out and laying a hand on your shoulder. Caulifla reaches out, grabbing her new gear friend, then you focus your mind.“Hey Mel, fight's over we're headed home.” you think to Meloka. “Chaya got it pretty bad, we may have to put her in a pod for the night.”“Understood.” she replies, then after a few seconds adds. “Okay, I'm here with Dr. White.”And focusing on your wife's ki through the telepathic link, teleport your daughters and Raditz back to your home on New Salda. You all appear inside the med bay, Meloka gasping as she no doubt sees Chaya.“Caulifla, you already healed her, yes?” Dr. White asks immediately, turning to your daughter.“Uh-huh. She was in really really bad shape, so I used the biggest one I had.” your daughter replies.“Good.” is all he says, turning to you and Meloka. “We should clean her off, and inspect the damage before putting her into the pod. Just to be safe. Here.”As he speaks, he gestures to the standing shower beside the healing pods, you pick your daughter's limp body up effortlessly as Meloka starts tearing the shreds of her uniform off. Once they're gone, she turns the shower's water on, stepping into it with you to help. The water is scathingly hot, but your daughter doesn't react at all.cont
>>5343031It takes you and Meloka only moments to wash the fresh blood off of her, revealing just how powerful Caulifla's healing miracle is. But also its limits. The deep cut in her arm, the one to her face, and the burns across her face and chest are all mostly healed, but the lightning-shaped marks going up both of her arms still remain. Meloka looks up to you when she notices them, a worried look in her eye.“She got hit with some sort of lightning.” you tell her, then after a moment hear Dr. White's voice.“You said lightning, didn't you? Show me, right now!” he orders, and wordlessly you and Meloka take your mostly clean daughter out immediately.“She was holding her sword.” you tell him, nodding down to her arms. “These marks appeared on her arms not long afterwards.”“Those fractal patterns don't look good.” he says, looking you in the eyes with a deadly serious expression on his face. “What happened afterwards? Did she show any signs of convulsions, speak of any chest pains, any slurring of her words or acting differently?”“No, she didn't seem very bothered by it at the time.” you say, recalling how she'd gotten back up and went right back to the fight. “But it did slow her down for a second or two after she was hit.”“You Saiyans. It's a wonder your species survived with intact nervous systems, with how often you ignore them.” he says, shaking his head. “We need to get her into a pod, so I can monitor her and make sure there aren't any complications. If it weren't for Caulifla's healing she did, your daughter would probably be critical by now, if not already passed on. Come on, get her in, get her in.”At the doctor's insistence you put Chaya inside, Dr. White attaching all the wires and breathing mask to her before sealing the pod. It rapidly fills with the healing fluids, and after a couple seconds she's fully submerged. You all step back, and to your surprise Raditz just sighs out, and sitting on the ground before the pod leans back against it, closing his eyes.“If it's alright, I'll just wait here for her to wake up.” he says, yawning. “I should be the one to tell her what happened.”“Alright, but once she's awake you should let us know.” you tell him, reaching out for a moment and laying your hand on the glass as you stare at your daughter's sleeping face. She suffered a hard loss, and will no doubt be devastated when she learns what happened. But no matter what you'll be here for her and do your best to help her however you can.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 178 paused-

The woman tries to evade, to dodge the devastating punch, but Chaya's attack still hits Tanya in the right side of her chest. Your daughter's ki pierces straight through, Chaya punching a hole right through the other woman's chest!I got to this bit and thought Chaya had finally received her wake-up call (in time to win, though she might not even care about her title anymore). Thought that her little friend trying to kill her had shown her that she needs to fight seriously and effectively; go full 'brutal, callous saiyan warrior', rather than 'dancing monkey'.But nah. Cops the point-blank multi-headshot instead. Fucking funny. The loss will do her some good. Hopefully. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Hope our dad-ing rolls for Chaya go as well as the two 100s we rolled just now to 'dad' for Caulifla. [Cauli should be feeling better now; it seems like we've done a good job with helping her through Tatsu's death, and the Abyss fight semi-fiasco].
>>5343327To be fair Chaya absolutely went for the kill. If Tanya hadn't evaded as quickly as she did her heart would have been obliterated and probably severed her spine as well. The problem is Chaya got serious, but Tanya was serious from the start. At that point Chaya was playing catch-up without even realizing it. Whereas Tanya was aiming for that kind of an outcome anyway so she was able to capitalize. Chaya isn't as good at killing as she thinks she is. She definitely took a lung but an immediately fatal blow it is not. If she were aware of that she'd have pivoted into any number of other attacks instead of just staring for a second. I think she, like many other people, believe movies a bit too much. TV be rotting her skull jelly. Spine or brain people, anything else and a sufficiently determined opponent can still throw a last ditch effort out to ruin your day. Then again it might be because her style is built upon Su-Ma and the teachings of the Guardian. To contrast with someone like Karn who learned how to fight for his life before learning something better suited to self-defense than straight up murder. Sure Saiyans are all killers born but Chaya hasn't really been a killer at her core for a long time.I dunno man. I'm just spitballing. All I know is she's about to be mighty depressed. She isn't "her" anymore now that she's not the champion. Cause she's goofy and doesn't realize a healthy way to choose her identity. Damn kids.
>>5343552>To be fair Chaya absolutely went for the killOh, I know. She absolutely tried to kill her. I'm just laughing because, as was shown, "try' doesn't always equal "achieve". Sometimes it falls well short, and gets you shot (repeatedly!) in the face.Chaya's somewhat funny in that I don't think she's lacking the "killer mindset", she's just lacking the serious 'treat every second of the fight as if your life - and everything you hold dear - depends on it' mindset that Karn has. If we sent Chaya off on a good old-fashioned genocide/planet-purging mission, I reckon she'd handle it without too much of an issue. Her issue is that she's spent too many of the foundational years of her fighting life fighting shit much weaker than her, that she can just stomp. Didn't need to take it too seriously, as it couldn't really hurt her too much without her seriously fucking up. Compare with Karn, who faced technologically-advanced Tuffles who - while physically weak - could blow his brains out with a laser, and then purges of planets where he might have only slightly out-powered the planet's main defenders (with the single greatest warrior - eg. GODZILLA!!!! - in fact being stronger than him on many occasions). What we need to do is declare war on the Tameranians, and have Chaya be the one to handle all of the fighting.
>>5343327Yes, she finally got serious but it was far too late. I mean, just look at the hits each of them landed right up until the final charge. On paper, Chaya shouldn’t have lost. Those rolls did Cauli some good, and kept her from rushing out there in the middle of the fight by herself.>>5343552>Chaya isn't as good at killing as she thinks she is.This. She’s spent so long fighting robots that explode once a damage threshold is reached, or people she doesn’t want to kill that her killer instinct is dulled. It came back during the Hive War, but that was weeks of almost non-stop lethal conflict. This loss is gonna hit hard. And the first thing she’s gonna do is teleport to Vox, and demand a rematch. But that’s not how someone fights a Dreadzone Champion.>>5343625>Her issue is that she's spent too many of the foundational years of her fighting life fighting shit much weaker than her, that she can just stomp.Yes, she’s gotten much too overconfident. Looking at the fight, she hit Tanya once with the flat of her sword, one punch to the torso, then a Piercing Fist through the chest. If she’d been fighting to kill after getting saw’d, the moment she used her own arm as a shield would’ve been the perfect time for a punch through Tanya’s face. But she had to knock her down, and go for the ‘dramatic’ Big Finish attack. Which both figuratively and literally blew up in her face
>>5343641would’ve been the perfect time for a punch through Tanya’s face. But she had to knock her down, and go for the ‘dramatic’ Big Finish attack.Which is a pretty big misjudgement, as I reckon just nonchalantly punching through someone's face up to the elbow would most definitely leave the audience speechless.
That first bit should be a quote. Whoops.
>>5343646>punching through someone's face up to the elbow would most definitely leave the audience speechless.Yes. But she had a good grip on the power, and wasn’t trying to kill her friend with it. It would have made a big kaboom, but wouldn’t have killed her. Until Tanya shot the orb and detonated it wrong
>>5343042>>5343054Super Saiyan 3 Training Montage time. Then Ultra into Cumber's Full Powered state.
>>5344096It feels like there's a fucking rainbow of unique Super Saiyan transformations nowadaysWho knows where Chaya will end up?
>>5344159Blame marketing for making Saiyans so Marketable. Just from this pic alone you have so many branching saiyan forms.
>>5344096But would that be the path to power she would choose?>>5344159A good question, and one she’ll have to answer herself.>>5344161Yes. And even then that isn’t complete
>>5344161Half of that shit aren't even actual forms. People just buy shit because it looks VERY SLIGHTLY different. Something gets three frames of animation or a single panel of art and suddenly """"""GOKU NEW FoRM CONFIRMED ABOVE GoD!!!!!!!!!?"""'""'';Fuckin dumb.
>>5344167>But would that be the path to power she would choose?Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she found a way to push Super Saiyan 3 further without tapping into her Oozaru abilities. After all, it's sort of implied by the Berserker God transformation that the 3 variants aren't the end of any given branch.
>>5344161Regular Super Saiyan path (1, Grade Series, 2,3)Primal Saiyan path (Golden Oozaru, SS4, UFPS4, SS4LB)Berserker Path (Legendary SS1, LSS2, LSS3, God, Emerald Oozaru, LSS4, LSS4LB)Legendary Path (SS Full Powered, Controlled LSS, CLSS2)Evil Saiyan Path (Evil Aura, Rampaging EA, Evil Saiyan)Ancient Path (Cumber's Orange SS1, OSS2, OSS3, OSS3 Full Power, Orange Oozaru)Corruption Path (SSBerserk, SSBrk2, Dark Super Saiyan God, SSB Berserk, SSB Controlled Berserker)Demon Path (Rampaging, SS Demon, Final Demon Form)Truffle Parasite Path (SSTruffle 1, SST2, SST3, Truffle Golden Oozaru)Divinity Path (SSRose 1, SSR2, SSR3, SSR Full Power)God Path (SS God, SS Blue, Advanced SSB, Perfect SSB, SS Blue Evolution)Potential Path (Potential Unleashed, PU Super Saiyan, PU SSG, Beast Mode)Then there's random standalone forms like SS Rage, Restrained SS, False Super Saiyan, Zamasu's SS White Rose, the Dark Dragon Ball Enhanced SS, Kale's version of RSS, Universe Tree SSB, Gogeta's SS4 & Blue Evolution, Wrathful, Wrathful SS, Shallot's Red eyed Oozaru state, the Fused LSS x SS form, SS Kaioken, SS4 Kaioken, SSB Kaioken, Spirit Bomb SS, and I think that's it.I really don't know why the Ultra Forms are there since they're not saiyan exclusive, nor Potential Unleashed but I can at least understand the latter since it has forms that combine itself with SS (Not Beasthan despite the blatant SS2 callback)
Does Meloka plan on attempting to achieve SS4 (now that she has seen Vegeta achieve it, and has seen that it offers roughly a ten-fold higher multiplier than SS3 is giving her), or is she just content to sit on (mastered) SS3 for the next couple of decades until we conduct the SSGod ritual?
>>5344217I have to wonder if she isn't considering the Kaioken given how multiple members of her family have been using it to great effect.
>>5344217Also I vaguely remember her tapping into the power of the Super Saiyan transformation without actually transforming.I have to wonder why she chose mastery over that line of thinking.
>>5344177>After all, it's sort of implied by the Berserker God transformation that the 3 variants aren't the end of any given branch. Now you’re cooking with gas. But if her mother hasn’t found such a power, she wouldn’t try expanding that way.>>5344217She’s already aware of you wanting her to take on the mantle of SSG, both you and Vegeta have told her so now IC. So she is mastering her control of energy itself, to prepare for gaining access to a new, unfamiliar form of power.>>5344219Someone is, besides Chilli. But it may not be a good idea to mix with any form or variant of mortal Super Saiyan...>>5344224She chose mastery because of what happened with the failed pregnancy she had due to her power fluctuations. With that on her mind she made the strongest form she had her base, so as not to damage/kill any future children the same way. And we see how that’s working out for Karn Jr. Speaking of, updating the mass of pastebins today, as several are out of date.
>>5344234>But if her mother hasn’t found such a powerThat's a rather reductive way of thinking, but I get it.>So she is mastering her control of energy itself, to prepare for gaining access to a new, unfamiliar form of power.Huh...does that mean she'll be able to do more stuff than Goku and Vegeta could with the form canonically?Because it feels like Meloka's energy control already blows theirs out of the water.>And we see how that’s working out for Karn Jr.Are the rest of our kids gonna be born as Super Saiyans as well, or was Junior a one-in-a-million?
>>5344241>Are the rest of our kids gonna be born as Super Saiyans as well, or was Junior a one-in-a-million?By 'in universe' logic, it would make sense that Karn and Meloka would have a fair few more kids, but from a storytelling perspective, I don't know if GD can handle adding five more kids without some of them (whether the new ones or the existing younger ones) being neglected characterisation-wise. Just too big of a cast at that point to devote sufficient attention to all of them.
>>5344241If I had a parent who was pushing the limits of what was thought possible, and in the years since mastering her form hasn’t found another, I’d probably think it impossible until proven otherwise. Like Future Chaya’s Apex.Yes.And very much so.If Meloka has any more, we’ll see. But not from lack of trying.>>5344251>By 'in universe' logic/storytelling perspectiveUnless there is an actual tangible reason she cannot, she probably will at least try. But perhaps there are consequences to a Super Saiyan birth.
>>5344251I have faith that GD’s autistic meticulousness could handle a few more kids. I’ve been worried about character bloat ever since we had Caulifla, but GD has managed to pull off giving enough screen time to our kids despite the number of them ever increasing.
>>5344258>GD has managed to pull off giving enough screen time to our kids despite the number of them ever increasing.Agreed. He has done a good job with giving each of the kids personality; the limiting factor at this point really is just their ages and mental development (the youngest ~4 all still being in baby-talk stage or earlier).
>>5344258>>5344265Not gonna lie, I was worried by the time we got our half children, juggling that many kids around. But so far I think its pretty good, we just need to spend more time with the littler ones and for Tatsu & Tomi to GET THEIR FUCKING HEADS IN THE GAME ALREADY, DAGHHH!
>>5344234I'm more surprised with how she's been in SS3 for so long that she didn't fully mastered it and achieved a Full-Power state like Goku did with Grade 4 or Cumber's.
>>5344258Thank you. I personally feel that not everyone gets enough screen time, then I remember how it was growing up in my decently large family. I can't imagine how much less time I'd have had with my own father if my own immediate family size was doubled.>>5344265Glad I can write what I believe to be my weakest link well enough for it to be specifically mentioned.>>5344271>Tatsu and TomiThey've not only realized that they are falling behind but have a plan for addressing it. What's the one main reason their siblings got more powerful than them?>>5344286>she didn't fully mastered it and achieved a Full-Power state like Goku did with Grade 4It may not have a fancy title like Grade 4 but check back on the powerlevel pastebin.>CumberUntil someone else does it, I won't believe that it in particular isn't an Evil Saiyan/Evil energy-exclusive form.
>>5344289I get it, but with Goku Crimson Black having his own Rose variant, Broly having a SS4 version, and now Bardock showing up in Heroes with whatever Dark Dragon Ball enhanced SS3 FP version, I'm incline to believe its not exactly evil energy-exclusive but it does further buff it like they do all the other forms. Only next month will tale.
Controlc/Pastebin documents almost all updated! Some numbers are still a bit out of date, especially the student pastebin, but that one specifically is unedited for spoiler reasons.
>>5344289>They've not only realized that they are falling behind but have a plan for addressing it. What's the one main reason their siblings got more powerful than them?Everyone that could walk and talk were thrown in battle ready environments to brush up on their skills and instincts? Chili beats the shit out of demons and minor deities, Broly fights for his family and participated in the fight against the Hive (rest in piss xeno bastards), and Chaya is constantly fighting in Dreadzone between the bots, other challengers looking for the title, and salty splitjaws? And then there's Caulifla, who literally ventures through time and space to fight dark souls bosses. Now that I think about it, when was the last time we ever took the twins with us for some good ol' fashioned slaying? We took Caulifla to fight the Abyss, and we took Chaya, Broly & Chili to fight the Dark in a Towa's dimension, if memory serves me right. The only major conflict I remember the twins being in was Chili's shitshow wedding crashed by the timeglowies and the SKoT's pet monkey. damn, we really fucking dropped the ball with preparing them, huh?
>>5344307Possibly. But what’s one lesson her ‘fights’ with you has drilled into Meloka’s head? Maximum lethality can often overcome even substantial powergaps. Which is why she isn’t training to close the gap between your powerlevels, but instead making herself as unbelievably lethal as possible. She understands Emilia very well, more than the Zoldyck realizes.>>5344348They all have had their own wars. The oldest three plus Cauli all had the Hive war, and all came back significantly stronger. Their parents left for war, came back even more powerful and with a new sibling. They want their own war to fight that isn’t the occasional demon slipping into the mortal realm. Granted, they’ve had more time under their grandpa’s tutelage than any other living Saiyan except for Karn himself, but trained killer instinct doesn’t quite boost the powerlevel numbers higher.
>>5344357>but trained killer instinct doesn’t quite boost the powerlevel numbers higher.Huh. I'm not really sure then. They found their niche, have learned from the old masters, have the training equipment available to them, and can go super saiyan. Not sure what else could be the issue.I swear to fucking god if they try to zenkai abuse I WILL LECTURE THEM SO HARD
>>5344410>Not sure what else could be the issue. They want to be stitched together so they never lose their big power boost. And hey, might as well tack on all their friends. Some of their family. Even amenable and powerful foes. All will become one. Or they are lactose intolerant.
>>5344357I thought they were doing fairly well so far, that they are behind the older kids because they are, y'know, younger?
Reading up on the archives, around the time where we meet the Covenant for the first time, and I just had an evil thought: What if Majin Buu met The Flood?
>>5344500Absolutely fucking terrifying. Not because of any physical abilities Buu might gain from absorbing them, but more the shift in temperament from impulsive and childish to malicious and hateful towards all organic life.
>>5344504>to malicious and hateful towards all organic life.Soooo back to kid buu?
>>5344410They feel the only way to catch up is to have their own actual battles to fight.>>5344425But would their ancestors bear witness?>>5344427They feel that they’ve fallen too far behind for training to catch them up.>>5344500Buu would win that contest of absorption, to the rest of the universe’s detriment.>>5344504>>5344509Yes Buu is at its most dangerous when it simply doesn’t give a fuck.
>>5344651>>5344509No no, that's not what I was saying. It's not about being an aimless piece of shit like Kid Buu.It's about having a direct motivation and seething fucking hatred towards any "other".Basically making it a point to kill and eat EVERYTHING out of spite.
>>5345085>aimless piece of shit like Kid Buu.The only reason he seemed aimless was because his goal was supremely simple. He would have destroyed the universe given time. He's just a sadist who enjoys hurting things a lot more than he likes blowing things up. All slurping the flood would do is take away some of the enjoyment he would be feeling and speed it up.
>>5345095Exactly. Buu's sadism actually slows him down enough to where it's possible, but not entirely feasible, to try and take him down. You give him The Flood's mindset? He's a man on a mission, and that's bad for everybody.
>>5344357Alright, that's fair, explains why she didn't also make an Ultra SS3, though admittingly I thought that was being saved for Chaya. Anyway, this logic is far more endearing than how the actual series does it. Especially super's run.
>>5345085I meant giving a fuck about you. The scariest realization with Super Buu was he was PLAYING with everyone on earth only to kill time before Gohan arrived. Because he could already sense him. Which is a lot more menacing than Kid Buu mindlessly making everything around him die for his amusement.>>5345118Plus Buu(minus Super Buu)’s masochistic tendencies to enjoy getting hit by something sufficiently strong.>>5345129>explains why she didn't also make an Ultra SS3You say that like she hasn’t. But she’s gone beyond that into true mastery where her body accepts Super Saiyan 3 as its natural state. As for ‘official’ material, well, we all know the one god they worship that demands new forms constantly:MARKETING
>>5345150Speaking of MARKETING, I wonder how Vox media would spin the hypothetical Baby-possessed forms of the super saiyans. On a more serious note, I am not looking forward to Baby's bullshit AT ALL. Goku & pals were lucky that Baby only got to posses jobbers, but we're nothing short of friends and family that could kick our ass, ESPECIALLY the Cold Clan.
>>5344651>Chilli's face when he fights anyone that knows Rennala's Full Moon which just nosells all magic thrown at it while ALSO making the target weak as fuck to magic
>>5345162Would depend entirely on if Vox also got got.Baby will be a dangerous arc, that’s for sure. Especially if you decite to wait for an -after- Tournament of Power timeline.>>5345177>just Rennala’s Full Moon>Not Rennala’s Full Moon into Ranni’s Dark Moon into Dark Moon GreatswordGit gud casul
>>5345181Filthy magic users.Bloodhound's Step and a good pair of Caestus are all you need.
>>5345150Forgive me but I don't recall her bulking up in SS3 like she used to in SS2 or how Chaya does it in her place.
>>5345184Magic builds without Azur Comet/10 second no spell cost flask makes a much harder boss run than any of the meta ashes. Malenia was crazy difficult.>>5345191She hasn’t done it in any fight that you’ve witnessed. Last time she used it, I believe was against Trigon
>>5345181I see you are a man of taste who has become a beloved consort.
>>5345212>doing the questline to bang a ghost possessing a doll instead of doing it to hang out with doggutslame
>>5345218I don't associate with furries, no matter what.
>>5345247Who said anything about furries? Why did your mind immediately stray to thinking about people fucking the dog? I think someone is hiding something.
>>5345251All I said was furries, I didn't mention anything at all about what you're talking about.Who's the one really jumping to thinking about that?
>>5345271It's by definition you nonce. Furries only want to fuck animals and their likeness or dress as them. Typically to fuck in. That's their whole shtick, it's a fetish. You literally cannot talk about one without talking about the other. That's like saying you can talk about vegans without talking about preachy assholes.
>>5345275I hate furries even more than the next guy, but I'm not foolish enough to think that ALL of them are in it for the degeneracy. If you're going to hate on someone, you should hate on them accurately. It helps your insults to hit closer to home. There are far more reasons to hate them than just for their extremely high rate of deviance.
QM UPDATESo I’ll be honest, I have no idea what to do for an intermission this week. So if anyone has a good idea I’m open to suggestions.>>5345212Not yet. Over a hundred hours in, and still haven’t gotten my first game clear. Exploring everything I find, and trying to go deeper beneath the main city.
>>5345291You could go into Cold's rehabilitation and Stand training.I wouldn't be surprised if he went out and discreetly exterminated a remnant Cell just to see if he's managed to shake off the rust.
>>5345291Hm, I was going to ask for an intermission on planet Ee-arth and how they're doing without any space monkies helping the humans out, but that would probably be spoilers.
>>5345378Red ribbon took over the world. Then King Pickle-row. And then Garlic Jr. strolled up and slapped the fuck out of him and now rules.
>>5345368Can’t spoil Cold’s progress yet, as it’s still too soon for the Kazuma storyline continuation. But oh boy, both Freeza AND Kazuma will be shocked.>>5345378King Emperor Pilaf, ruler of Earth is currently mid-deposing thanks to the Red Ribbon Army’s efforts.>>5345383Not yet. Once the king emperor is dethroned, THEN he’ll find the rice cooker of legend.
>>5345389How the fuck is Pilaf not dead? Gero can make a weapon in his garage while on a week long bender capable of flattening a mountain by accident. That dweeb is fucking slacking.
>>5345455Goku wasn't around to light a fire under his ass I guess.
>>5345455in all fairness Gero doesn't run the RRA that's commander reds job. also it took Gero 13 tries to get something good.
>>5345455Gero was making groundbreaking tech, for his time. Eighter being a prime example. But Pilaf has one employee he could out-pay the RR Army to keep on retainer. A very, very dangerous one...>>5345464Also true. And Krillin is with Roshi studying, but without Goku lighting a fire under his ass as well, his training is progressing much slower.>>5345481You’re forgetting the muscle tower robot, Major Metallitron that he built at some point after building Eighter. It was the first villain to survive a Kamehameha, after all
>>5345795I hope to get an excuse to run around post apocalypse DBZ Earth, or at least our kids go there. Just so they can drop that their dad is stronger than them, and they blow out the entire population put together.
>>5345834That sounds like a great way for one of our kids to get hit with the Mafuba.
>>5345896Woah woah woah, they may be bloodthirsty saiyans (or atleast Chaya is), but they're not nearly evil enough for that shit to work, right? You tellin me Cauli's going to get stuck in a rice cooker by an old man? Roshi bit the dust trying the Evil Containment Wave on King Piccolo, and he was a dusty as shit raisin with the powerlevel of an ant that was *this* small.
>>5345927Despite it's name, the "Evil Containment Wave" works on any living creature. Doesn't matter if they're evil or not.As for whether or not anybody on Earth could actually pull it off on of our kids? I can't say for certain that they could, but the chances of it working are too high for my liking.
>>5345936>implying that they dont back eachother upThe old man would get ganked faster than you could say "KameHameHa". Even if it worked, freeing them is as simple as opening or shattering the vessel. I don't see the Earth's defenders trying anything rash when they sense our children's power. Eternal dragon won't do shit, either. The only thing I know that would not only harm but also fucking kill our kids is Spike the Devilman. Devilmite beam would solo the entire PTO.
>>5345834Depending on how and when(if) the kids show up, there may not be an actual threat. Devilman and Roshi are the two biggesr threats, as DKP only has power and sufficiently dangerous androids would still be years off after Piccolo destroys the RR Army.>>5345896One of the only ways they could be stopped is Roshi. But Mafuba isn’t the most dangerous technique, out the gate. Hypnosis, Thunder Shock Surprise, the old man has plenty of tricks for dealing with dangerous beings.>>5345927He also Mafuba’d three stronger opponents in the ToP, and lived. Barely.>>5345936>but the chances of it working are too high for my liking. If it can capture and contain a post-Zamasu arc VEGETA, who was strong enough to destroy an entire dimension simply by powering up to Blue, it can reasonably hold any of the Karn clan short of Future Chaya. But even that’s iffy.>Spike the DevilmanThe single-most dangerous being on Earth for our cast. Except for Karn. Not because he’s ‘pure of heart’, which he isn’t. But the Energy Body would actually prevent the beam from hitting his body, thus never correctly triggering the effect.
>>5346241Karn's pure of heart. Pure fucking anger, depending on exactly when you catch him.
Going to be a rather short, potential future intermission this week. But I think you all will enjoy this Freeza pov.>>5346280There’s nothing on Earth he would be that angry at. Unless it were Trunks’ timeline.
>>5346328Orrrr Trunk's, for whatever reason, was sent to jump Karn again after we visit Earth, then the population can learn what it's like to learn what loving a real Hate Crime looks like.
>>5346424>The BOI and his time traveling twerps appear just to cuck us out of dragonballs during family R&R on EarthI can see them trying it. The Supreme Cunt of Time would never allow us near those wish granting orbs.
>>5346424He wouldn’t have reason to, unless some time shennanigans happened there.>>5346483Like she’s going to interfere with the lesser orbs’ use. She isn’t planning on stopping Freeza from getting his wish on Namek, after all.
>>5346487What does Frieza even want to wish for anyways? If I remember correctly, you said he doesn't want immortality, so what is it?
>>5346502And he'd (presumably) have 3 wishes at his disposal. If not for immortality, what else would the emperor wish for? Ensuring the PTO's growth and survival is uninhibited? Destroying all opposing factions? Putting a tracker on Babidi that works 100% of the time? Making himself 3 inches taller? Making Cooler 6 inches shorter?
>>5346502That’s the question, isn’t it: what does he want? If it isn’t immortality, what could your Freeza want?>>5346507Well, he’s learned of the three wishes and promised Kazuma one in exchange for not only revealing where they are but how to use them.>spoilerHa.
>>5346514>he wishes for Karn to be immortal
>>5346514What is Kazuma going to wish for? Some cheat bullshit to make sure he can survive his new job?>>5346515>Our Freeza is so radically different when other timeline Freeza's encounter him, they blue screen after finding out he wished for someone else. A Saiyan at that, have immortality. Our bro is the best and I can't fucking wait to be a God father.
>>5346515He wouldn’t wish for immortality for you, without asking you first. But he does seek -a- power from the dragons, one in particular.>>5346524>KazumaSpoilers.>Our bro is the best and I can't fucking wait to be a God father. His wish is better than immortality, for himself or anyone else.
>>5346532What power could he possibly ask for that he couldn't attain by himself?Does he want Divine Ki or something?
>>5346532>His wish is better than immortality, for himself or anyone else.An air fryer.>>5346524We've turned our Frieza into an absolute chad.
>>5346549I hope not, Divinity is dumbass juice cubed.
>>5346549That’s an 11/10 edit there. Nice.>>5346570I don’t know why exactly, but that image radiates menace. As for your guess, well...Gif related.>>5346551Ha.
>>5346583Ahh, we're THIS close to cracking it. Makes it all the better when the reveal actually comes.Emperor Warlock Frieza would make Moro look like a fucking joke.
>>5346583....does Freeza want anti magic?
>>5346583Please tell me he's not gonna wish for the location of Majin Buu.
>>5346549Not even 2 hours later and I can already see that I fucked up a ton on the facial proportions.Jesus fucking christ.
>>5346583Hey, a good question just popped into my head.Since Meloka has pretty much mastered Super Saiyan 3 and has extremely precise control over her own energy, is pic related something she'd be able to do?Seems like it would be a decent equivalent to the Blue Kaioken since I imagine Meloka probably isn't that interested in learning the Kaioken itself.
>>5346549Looking Ultimate Gohan there Karn>>5346712SSB Full Power or https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/Explosive_Power sounds like a good enough fit over learning the Kaioken
>>5346723Those forms are primarily focused on maintaining stamina by minimizing wasted energy or time spent at peak output.I think with Meloka's mastery over her own energy and Super Saiyan 3, she won't suffer from the energy drain of Super Saiyan Blue near as much as Goku and Vegeta did canonically, so those methods don't seem that useful in her case.I'm suggesting Blue 3 as a hypothetical because there will come a time when the power gap between herself and opponent will be too great to overcome, even as she focuses on making her style hyper-lethal to compensate for that disparity.>TLDR; I think Meloka would benefit more from having an extra transformation than any stamina maximizing techniques that late in the game.
>>5346728Well its more Jiren's application rather than the God to Blue switch that's the real take away. Since Jiren manages to go from SSB tier when Suppressed to beyond GoD in Combat Prowess in a blink of an eye. All because he knows how to hyperfocus and draw out more power efficiency for substantial gains while being fully optimized.
>>5346731Based on that Wiki entry, I'm pretty sure Jiren is only able to do it at that high of a level because it's instinctual rather than a learned behavior. That, to me, implies that it just isn't possible for most people to even attempt to polish the technique to that degree.Though I will say I'm not entirely sure if Meloka's prodigious energy control would make any version she used comparable to Jiren's or not.
>>5346734I always took that Jiren trained himself so thoroughly that he can pull it off as a reflex or instinctual rather than something he was innately born with. Jiren's entire shtick is that he got that strong through pure effort and feverous zeal towards his ideals. Rather than it being genetic or otherworldly. Dude is the poster child of what Dragon Ball preaches, practically made his own bootleg/his own take on the principles of UI.It's such a shame his characterization is so bad. Especially in the anime.
>>5346738Good point, but I still don't think Meloka would even have the time to train to the same degree as somebody like Jiren.
>>5346723>Looking Ultimate Gohan there KarnLook man, there's only so much you can do when Karn does just look like a Gohan who hit the gym.The scars help a little, which is why I always try to exaggerate them. I dunno, maybe Karn should get a haircut or something...or maybe a mustache?
>>5346587Would take more than two wishes to turn Freeza magical.>>5346588Doesn’t have the concept.>>5346591Not yet. He wants insurance first before that battle one day comes.>>5346712I won’t rule it out entirely. But would take YEARS after a potential ToP.>>5346728If she follows the path of Blue, and doesn’t seek something...more>>5346731That is the level she’s mastered 3 to. Just check the pls sheet>>5346734Luckily for her, she isn’t most people
>>5347015>If she follows the path of Blue, and doesn’t seek something...moreOn the topic of Ultra Ego, wouldn't it make more sense for Frieza to be chosen by Beerus for that training?Given the snippets of the potential future we've seen, we can reasonably assume Frieza is gonna end up as the next GoD for this universe.
>>5347080Just because only one student can ultimately be chosen for the role, doesn’t mean having multiple candidates would be a problem. Especially when they can train with/against each other, and come back stronger for it. And who said Ultra Ego is the path she’ll choose to take? There are many, MANY different paths of power open to Saiyans. Including one I’ve only seen a single picture of, pic related
>>5347106Huh. I've never really thought about stacking anything besides Super Saiyan on top of Oozaru. That said, isn't the obvious next step doing just that and eventually creating Blue 4/Primal God?
>>5347015If you're talking about the power levels sheet, I already read them countless times, even when you just recently updated it. It tells me numbers and the strength of the form they have. To which I get, but none of the technical aspect or finesse unless I headcanon/assume how they're doing it. Doubly so for her skillset and techniquesTLDR - When's Meloka getting her sheet like her husband and children.
>>5347137What would a god of oozaru, or as some would derogatorily refer to one as a monkey god’s final form be?>>5347141The point I make with Meloka’s specifically is that she’s doing the Jiren thing of not transforming, and just suppressing her full power while always remaining in her strongest form. Leaving her able to max out at any moment without burning the energy to transform, like canon Cell Games Goku.>tldrI’ve said it before in at least one other thread, but I can’t show it yet. I have one mostly filled, but can’t show it due to a lot of spoilers. Not until the Battle of Gods, and she gets to whip out many of her more wild and creative techniques.
>>5347348Berserk 3 not on the power level sheet?
>>5347365No. Because you can’t reliably access it yet. Also hoping to delineate the difference between Berserker 3 and Berserker ‘God’, if you so choose to call it that.(Which we probably will for convenience)
>>5347387>Also hoping to delineate the difference between Berserker 3 and Berserker ‘God’, if you so choose to call it that.(Which we probably will for convenience)Personally still leaning towards "Titan".
>>5347442Not the form beyond, with the teal coloring. But the actual difference between 3/God on the Berserker side.
>>5347442I'm hoping for Satan if Cumber's Evil Saiyan or Gilbert's Dark SSG isn't implemented here. >>5347348I got that, I was explaining the concept to the others prior so I don't know why you was telling me to look at the pastebins in response. Anyway, from what you told me about Ultra SS3 being a secret from us and all those other stuff, I can't help but think Meloka is going full batman and preparing not only an Anti--Beerus solution but an Anti-Karn one in response to Berserker 3 and God.
>>5347453>But the actual difference between 3/God on the Berserker sideYou lost me here. I understand they're different forms, but what are you trying to get across exactly?
>>5347458Was to demonstrate the level she jumps up.She's preparing an anti-something, I'll say that much. Karn isn't the only one Mechikabura's given hints about the future to in this timeline.>>5347467It'll make sense soon. Hopefully
-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 178 Intermission-AGE 759, BEERUS' PLANET“Are you sure about this?” your friend asks, easily blocking your left jab with his forearm before ducking your right cross and countering with a perfectly timed left uppercut to your exposed side. You wince at the blow, but still manage to drop your right elbow down straight at his head in retaliation. He leaps back, narrowly avoiding the blow before sliding to a stop a few feet away, arms up defensively as if expecting you to rush in after him. But seeing you standing still, he lowers his guard just a bit. “I know Lord Beerus can handle it, but I'm not sure that even your Golden form can handle that.”“I believe that I shall be the judge of that. And what sort of Destroyer candidate would I be, if my own subordinate doesn't believe fully in my power?” you ask him, lowering your own arms as well. “I think that this is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate just how much more powerful I've become than the last time we fought seriously. Wouldn't you agree, Whis?”“Of course. If the battle gets too out of hand, or Karn here is unable to control that power once more, Lord Beerus or myself can interfere.” the angel says casually, while Lord Beerus remains silent for several seconds before speaking up.“I think pitting the two strongest mortals of my universe against each other will be quite the show, if nothing else.” the Destroyer says, but you immediately get the feeling he isn't saying his true thoughts. “Go ahead, why don't the both of you hold nothing back and show me what you can really do?”“Yes, Lord Beerus.” you both reply, you and your best friend turning back to face each other. You are Lord Freeza, conqueror and ruler of the Seventh Universe's mortal realm and a candidate to become its next Destroyer deity. After the initial 'battle' between the reawakened Lord Beerus and yourself, as well as several of your most powerful allies who all call New Salda home, the Destroyer had been sufficiently entertained and even offered to take you for training to become a Destroyer as well. Which you had accepted, and spent several months living and training in the divine realm under the tutelage of the deities. Until Karn just showed up last week via his Instant Transmission, wondering where you'd gone off to. Which had annoyed Lord Beerus immensely, the deity threatening to destroy the Saiyan for his insolence. Which led you to defying the Destroyer for the first time.
>>5347488“I will not let you destroy him.” you had declared, stepping between the two of them. “You will have to go through me!”“Oh? So you would defy a god, and risk your own existence over the life of a single Saiyan?” Beerus had asked, clearly expecting you to back down. But you'd surprised him by remaining steadfast.“No. Not over a single Saiyan. But for my friend.” you'd replied, and ascended back into your Golden form defiantly. “For his life I would defy even you. Until my last breath.”You remember that fateful day as you face down your friend once more, clenching your fists while raising your power up to its pinnacle.“SHYAAAAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, golden light enveloping you as you ascend to your strongest form once more. Your body strengthens as you take on your Golden form once more, spreading your arms wide down by your sides as your aura's blazing light begins to fade and reveal your form to them. “Now then, Karn. Seeing my true power, do you still underestimate me?“Woah. You've really been working hard.” he comments with a grin, his eagerness to test his own power against you once more shining in his eyes. “Alright, I'll admit that I WAS underestimating you. But not anymore! Don't you hold back either! HAAA!!”In a burst of power he explodes up into his familiar Ascended Berserker form, towering over you and the two deities. But he's not done yet, in fact he's only getting started.“HRRRRRYAAAAAAA!!” he roars, veins bulging on his forehead as his emerald aura blazes wildly. You can sense his power increasing exponentially by the second as his hair starts growing out and down his back, proportionally to his increasing power. “HRRRAAAAAAAA!!”The entire oddly-shaped planet begins trembling as he once more takes on his god-defying power. Both Beerus and Whis stare intensely at your friend as he continues roaring, strength reaching heights you wouldn't have believed just a few short years ago. Then with a final, pained roar he finishes his transformation.“GRRRRRYAAAAAAAAAAA!!” he bellows, disappearing in a flash of emerald light as his transformation finishes. The blinding light quickly fades, leaving you facing down Karn in his strongest form. “RRRAAAAA!!”After his roar Karn immediately charges forward, right held back as he readies a wild swing. You take a moment to smirk, remembering back to your first and second duels with him, where he opened the same way. Oh, how far you've come, how far both of you have come over the years.
>>5347489"HAAAA!” you shout, once more catching his right with your own right hand. But he's much stronger in this form, able to easily blow you away. The punch sends you flying, but that's not enough to get any distance from him as he's already closed the distance.“RRRAAAA!!” he roars, again mindlessly swinging for you. And as you duck his right, countering with a left cross to the jaw only to take a heavy hit to your gut that he follows with a harder right to your jaw, sending you flying again. But this time Karn doesn't pursue, instead drawing his right back a moment before thrusting it forward, firing a massive beam of energy your way.“Tch.” you exclaim, dodging aside to your left and narrowly avoiding the blast before blasting off towards him. Karn notices he's missed and ends the blast, emerald aura blazing as he surges directly at you. “SHYAAAA!”“HRRAAA!!” he roars as you do, both of you swinging your right fists into each other's. The impact blasts you a bit back from him, but without hesitation surge back in, and follow up with a left to the jaw faster than he could evade. He doesn't dodge, however, instead taking the hit while swinging with a left of his own up into your gut once more. Again the shock waves from the titanic impacts separate the two of you, and again you both charge in. Over and over you trade blows with Karn, each crash more powerful than the last until you both rush forward with heavy rights again. This time you catch his fist in your left hand, while he does the same with yours. Leaving the two of you in a pushing contest of raw power.“I must say, I underestimated you.” you say to your friend, who mindlessly snarls back in your face. “But, I also over estimated you. I thought by now you would have learned to control of this power.”“GRRRAAAAA!!” he roars, pushing against you and actually forcing you back a bit. But you manage to stop him, gritting your teeth and planting your feet.“Come on Karn, I KNOW you're better than this!” you retort, then by changing from a push to a pull drive your right knee up into his jaw to launch him backwards. Then, before he recovers you twist, driving a left turning kick into the side of his head that sends him staggering a couple steps back. “You can control this power, I know you can: now stop playing around and show me what you can REALLY do!”Your shouting stops him in his tracks, the much larger fighter freezing in place. He looks at you, expression turning to one of confusion as he tilts his head a bit.“HRRRrrrrr.... F-Free....Zaa?” he asks, then suddenly clutches his head with an agonized scream. “GRRR! GYAAAAAAAA!!”
>>5347491You can feel it as he cries out in pain, his energy distorting ominously around him as it begins changing. The surging emerald ki rises higher and higher, but it isn't right. His power feels different somehow, almost as if his energy itself is becoming not only calmer, but feels almost....Divine. What in the world is going on?“Whis.” you hear Beerus say, between Karn's pained screams. “Do you feel that?”“HRRRRAAAAAAA!!!” Karn bellows, and with that final soul-wrenching scream, everything goes quiet. You watch with baited breath as he slumps forward, arms hanging limply by his sides while seemingly looking down at the ground. But as he raises his head, you watch as he opens his eyes. And, to your surprise, you can actually see them! His iris matches his emerald hair, your friend smirking as his eyes lock onto your own.“Yes.” you barely hear Whis reply, your attention focused on Karn before you. His power feels different, more focused and controlled as he rises back up to his full height before actually taking his fighting stance. Then with his upraised left, he gestures for you to come at him. Which you do, wasting no time and closing the distance instantly. Your right forearms clash, your faces perhaps a foot apart as he finally speaks.“Now that I'm fully in control, let's see what this form can REALLY do!” he replies, aura blazing up around him once more as he throws you back from him, then dashes in ready for a fight. You power up to the fullest as well, golden aura glowing around you as you meet his charge head on. “HAAAAAAA!!”“SHYAAAAAA!!” you bellow as well, and once more you and your best friend trade blows at speeds you would have thought unimaginable only a few decades earlier. Everything you have now is thanks to this man, including your relatively newfound enjoyment in pushing your body's limits. So you'll keep pushing him, higher and higher as you keep improving, until the two of you tower uncontested over the very gods themselves!-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 178 Intermission End-
>>5347494>Until Karn just showed upHilarious. Absolutely amazing.
>>5347491>“But, I also over estimated you. I thought by now you would have learned to control of this power.”Yeah, that timeline's Karn is a bum. We'll make sure to have this Berserker-3 shit sorted well before the first Beerus fight. Would be great to even be able to push towards pic-related (able to enter the form at will, even if we can't fully control it yet), just to really scare the crap out of Beerus.Bro-Frieza is funny to read when he gets super sappy; it does feel earned, considering how close Frieza and Karn have been for so long and how much they've enriched each other, but it's strange to hear it from the same guy who is such a little cunt in canon.
>>5347494Hey GD, quick question. What's the maximum range on our Super Ki Blade? More specifically, just how long can we actually make it?
With the size increase of our eventual transformation (pic related), how is Meloka going to cope?
>>5347530And how is Karn going to cope with that new emo fringe? Will he adapt to no longer require the use of his right eye? Is he going to start listening to My Chemical Romance?
>>5347517Karn suddenly appearing one day, completely unannounced and seemingly impossibly to the gods is something he'd definitely do.>>5347518>We'll make sure to have this Berserker-3 shit sorted well before the first Beerus fightYou're -maybe- going to have one more opportunity to try and access it before Battle of Gods. And yes, I do quite enjoy this take on Freeza. Especially when you get to see him merc someone for disrespecting Karn as a 'canon' Freeza would, like the IBO episode. Haven't had many opportunities to write scenes like that often, but they're a blast.>>5347523Depends on how much energy you're willing to invest, and how long you have to focus. If you had perhaps ten uninterrupted minutes, you could make it as large as Meloka's ultimate version. But on average, it is the same length as Karn's wingspan. In whichever form he's in.>>5347530The same way she did when you first started controlling Berserker.>>5347532Ha, but no. His Berserker God form will be slightly different that Broly's, due to the different starting hairstyles.
>>5347540So when is Karn gonna get the chance to fight Classic Broly and get immensely disappointed when he realizes that he never actually learned how to fight properly.
>>5347572>Classic BrolyYou’re far too strong at this point for the classic Cell Games-era fight, that’ll be one for YOUR Broly to fight and deal with. However, there IS another...
>>5347586>However, there IS another...Leave the Green weirdos locked in King Kai's little ball. Except the chick. She can stay.
>>5347586Limit Breaker Broly here we come
>>5347586Not that fight specifically, but like, the classic iteration of him that shows up in Heroes a lot. Also on that note, I'd love to fight Super Broly once the ToP is over with.
I just think that after raising our Broly, the other two versions (Super Broly and DBZMovies Broly) are just going to seem mentally retarded.Karn's going to be left thinking, "Wow... Paragus really was the worst parent in history, huh. Lucky he died..."
>>5347600I meant DBS Broly. Until the battle with Beerus, the Cardinal Kais aren’t even remotely likely to be destroyed.>>5347604That version is still too strong, even if you use Supervillain. A SS3 Broly would be your best chance.>>5347607It’s a potential. But far less likely now that Mechikabura’s gotten a much tighter reign on the Council of Towa. He’s not having a repeat of what happened before.Or possibly before, depending.>>5347609Let’s be honest, Paragus did about as well as any parent with a ridiculously physically stronger but mentally deficient child could have. The first important difference is Karn could actually ENFORCE his authority over Broly, then the rest came later
>>5347609Technically 3. Yes I count Heroes Broly as his own char despite based entirely on Z. >>5347612Well yeah, Heroes Broly is no laughing matter. Dude took on 2 Vegitos and was coming on top. He's a nightmare.
>>5347612>It’s a potential. But far less likely now that Mechikabura’s gotten a much tighter reign on the Council of Towa.I'm certain that he can see just how much of that Broly's potential is being squandered, and what better way to demonstrate that than to have Karn show up and absolutely spank the shit out of him.Mechikabura's logic being similar to what I imagine Crom's is when he's choosing from a crop of fighters; What good is a warrior that can't use his head?
Only 24 hours to go until the episode continues and we get to see the aftermath of Chaya’s fall, as well as the twins’ idea.>>5347625He’s a more fully realized idea of the concept of Z Broly, one who was allowed to grow stronger than his two movie appearances.>>5347632Dunno who Crom is, but he’s very on point.
>>5348092Did Karn just pop into Beerus house looking for Frieza? When Beerus say some stupid shit, did Karn just respond with the navy seal copy pasta?I need this in my life now.
>>5348176Imagine if he stumbled on the Boi doing his time stuff there.
>>5348092>Dunno who Crom is, but he’s very on pointFrom is the patron deity of the Cimmerians from the Conan novels, comics, and films. He's best known for asking his adherents to solve a riddle despite otherwise being an archetypical warrior god, if a very dour one.The riddle is as follows;>"What is the riddle of steel?"Yes, the riddle is a question asking what the riddle is. Kind of an insane head scratcher, especially for a bunch of fantasy Vikings. This is just my personal interpret, but I believe that the "riddle" doesn't actually have a definitive answer (as evidenced by everybody having a different one, usually tying into their personal philosophy) and is instead meant to trick his chosen people into contemplating the world around them and learning about things they would otherwise dismiss as useless in their warrior culture. This, in my mind, serves to make sure that the worthy few who actually make it into his Kingdom upon death in battle aren't just a bunch of knuckle-dragging retards.Again, none of this is ever stated in the novels, comics, or movies, buy why else would you give out a riddle inside of a riddle if not to provoke intellectual or philosophical pursuit?
>>5348176>What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Saiyan Army, and I’ve been involved in secret raids on Kvir's Moon, and I have over 300 billion confirmed kills. I am trained in Oozaru warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire Freeza Force. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this planet, mark my words. You think you can get away with saying shit to me over the Galaxynet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my network of spies across the North Quadrant and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, BOY. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the Planet Trade Organization and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your ass off the face of the universe, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your tongue. You didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.
>>5348388That's fucking perfect.
>>5348176Yes, using Instant Transmission in conjunction with telekinesis to lock in on Freeza’s ki.Freeza talked a lot more shit, once Beerus threatened ’his’ Karn.>>5348368Beerus would be amused witnessing a hate crime in real time.>>5348386Shows how long its been since I looked into it. The last Conan content I watched was a vhs of Schwarzenegger. And a valid point about the riddle. It isn’t about any ‘correct’ answer, so much as it is about the answer itself.>>534838811/10, saved
>>5348532As far as I know, the riddle is an invention of the Arnie movie, but my points still stand. Crom, like any good leader of men, knows that the best warriors are those that can use their head. This makes Heroes/Z/Classic Broly the ultimate disappointment as he has enough strength to topple the heavens, but the wherewithal of an ape.Any trained fighter with a roughly equivalent powerlevel would be able to pick him apart in minutes, if not seconds.
>>5348609Z Broly isn’t a warrior, but a mad dog. A feral beast unleashed to cause death and destruction, nothing more. But to be fair, the only way he is ever defeated is the literal power of plot. Even DBS Broly has this trait in common with his Z counterpart, aside from the green hair and name.
>>5348695Good god... this quest is going? I have not been on Quest for years.
>>5348925Five years and counting friend. Welcome to one of the unintentional pillars of /qst/.
>>5348925Welcome back. I’m still here, and have no plans of stopping anytime soon
>>5343032Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest: The day of Chaya's greatest challenge arrived, Karn taking his daughter Caulifla along to witness the battle. After crash landing, Chaya engaged the metal men while Karn, Caulifla and Raditz headed to an observation ship hidden nearby. The trio watched the battle unfold, Chaya clearing group after group while Raditz and Karn criticized her flash technique until she came upon the final room. Which after a bit of back-and-forth Chaya cleared, only for Tanya to make her entrance by destroying the entire fortress. Then she challenged Karn's daughter for the title of Champion, and when all was said and done, Tanya had been declared the winner over an unconscious Chaya. Karn then took his fellow Saiyans back home, getting Chaya into a healing pod under Dr. White and Raditz's observation. And as we rejoin Karn, you're just now leaving the medical bay behind.“What happened to her?” Meloka asks, turning to you with a serious look in her eyes.“She lost.” you reply, your wife sighing out. “She underestimated her friend, took her too lightly and paid the price. If both Cauli and me hadn't gone along, I don't think she would have made it.”“Well, that was all a waste of her time anyways.” your wife says, shaking her head once. “Maybe now she'll stop playing around with weaklings and get back to focusing on what's important.”“What's important, huh?” you say more to yourself than her, bringing your hand to your chin a moment. But you don't get to ponder that point long, as your oldest twins emerge from another room nearby. Both are fully armored and scouter'd up, each holding their twinblades they'd retrieved from the M'lurnian armory in opposite hands as they start walking towards you three in lockstep. How in sync they are is always slightly unsettling, but you've gotten more used to it over time. That's just who your kids are. “Hey you two, what's with the gear? Is something going on?”“We have a serious question, for both of you. Mom. Dad.” they say exactly at the same time, looking between you, Meloka, and Caulifla with a hint of concern in their shared expression. “Unless, now's not a good time? Did... You both look upset, did something bad happen?Well?>Tell them you always have time for them, and to tell you whatever is on their mind>Say that their sister's just had a rough loss, yet she's stable now and you should be able to help them with whatever they need>Tell them that you don't have time right now, as you have to go start teaching your students, but you will have all evening for them after training>Other(write in)

Leaving this vote open another ten minutes.
>>5349243>Say that their sister's just had a rough loss, yet she's stable now and you should be able to help them with whatever they needWhat really exactly is important?
>>5349264>What really exactly is important?I'm sure Chaya will be asking herself that question very shortly.
>>5349246>>5349264Say that their sister's just had a rough loss, yet she's stable now and you should be able to help them with whatever they need wins it. Writing.
>>5349243“Well...” you say, sharing a glance with Meloka before turning back to face the twins. “Your sister Chaya, she just had a really rough loss. She's stable now, but she almost didn't make it.”“She-She lost? To who?” they ask you, expressions worried. “How could Chaya lose?”“She underestimated her opponent.” you tell them, taking this moment to impart a bit of wisdom. “Had she fought seriously, I doubt she would have lost to Tanya like that. But she held back, and nearly paid the ultimate price for it.”A moment of silence hangs over everyone, your words sinking in for the kids before you continue.“But she's safe in a healing pod, thanks to Caulifla's healing magic, so we don't have to worry about her.” you say, trying to lighten the mood a bit. “So, I should be able to help you two with whatever you need me for. What's the question?”“We've been falling behind. Broly, Chaya, Chilli, even you Cauli. All of you have been getting stronger and leaving us behind. Ever since you all went off on that bug-squishing war, we've been falling further and further behind.” they say to their sister, then turn their gaze back on you. “So, we need a war of our own. To go out into the universe, and fight against beings who want us dead, just like you and mom did for years.”“Your own war, huh?” you ask aloud, bringing your right hand to your chin as you ponder their words. Unlike most of their siblings, Tatsu and Tomi haven't had their chance to actually go out into the universe and prove themselves. And they've honestly spent the most time training under your old man than anyone, except for you yourself, so they should be equipped to handle almost anything out there except for the remnants of the Covenant.“Why not stay here, and shift the focus of your training instead?” Meloka asks them, no doubt wanting to keep her children here under her watchful gaze. But the twins shake their heads perfectly in sync.“We've tried that. But the gap between us and our siblings keeps growing greater.” they say. “Last time Chilli was here, he was at least eight times stronger than us. Staying here and training in peace won't let us close a gap like that. So, can we go? Can we leave New Salda, and start going out on missions like you both used to?”Well? What do you tell them?>Of course. They don't need to ask for permission, just to let you know before they leave>Tell them you support this decision, but they need to gather a team. No matter how good they are, everyone needs help in enemy territory>Only if they can fight well enough against you to get your okay, then take the twins to the gravity chamber to see how they fight>Tell them you don't think that's a good idea, but if they're wanting to improve their power you can spend more time focusing with them on it>Other(write in)

>>5349328>Tell them you support this decision, but they need to gather a team. No matter how good they are, everyone needs help in enemy territoryIf they were around in our early days, I'd let them run wild, but the galaxy has gotten FAR stronger than the days of Planet Vegeta. We still get our asses kicked as strong as we are, and its thanks to our crew that we havent died 20 times over. Plus, with the responsibility of a team they'll learn to take charge, be more independent and not joined at the hip, make mistakes, and what it means to push past limits.
>>5349328I want them to understand that if they do this, they will be fighting to kill and survive the mission, and that it won't be like and of the training fights they've had thus far, but I don't know how to say that in karns character.

>>5349328"If you two are going out on actual conquering missions, there's one thing that's absolutely essential." you tell them, holding up a single finger for emphasis. "Do either of you know what that is?""Not holding back, and treating every living being as if it is trying to kill us." they both say confidently, perfectly in sync. “Holding back or showing mercy will only end with us getting killed.”“That is important, but not THE most essential.” you say to them seriously. “The absolutely most essential thing is to gather a team around you. No matter how good you are, everyone needs help while in enemy territory. So what you two need to do is go out and gather a team of other Saiyans with you. Either two or three others who're also motivated to go out and conquer, then once you've got a group go ask King Vegeta who you need to talk to about getting sent out on a mission.”“A team?” they ask, looking aside at each other. Which is still a bit disorienting, as if looking at someone staring at their reflection from the side. But then after what is no doubt a quick telepathic conversation turn back to you, with another question. “We can choose who we take, right?”“If they agree to go with you.” you reply. “Your mother and I will most likely be staying here for the time being, unless an emergency pops up somewhere. So if you do this, you two'll only have each other and your teammates to rely on, understood?”“I understand.” they both reply, then surprisingly give you a Saiyan salute. For a whole second you're confused, before remembering the rank Freeza'd given you. So you return the gesture, and then the twins run off. No doubt eager to get started forming their own team.“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Meloka asks, you turning to see a troubled look on your wife's face. “They're still a little young to be going out on conqueror missions, don't you think?”“They're just a year or two younger than I was, first time I killed a Tuffle.” you reply, taking a moment to remember back to the struggle life was on Planet Vegeta. Compared to that, you and your people have it so easy on this world, thanks to the PTO. Your kids wanting to give back, albeit for their own selfish reasons, still helps you appreciate all that you have. “Plus they're smarter, stronger, and far more dangerous than I was back then. They should be fine. But we need to get a move on, or we'll be late to training.”The three of you depart your ship, flying over to the training grounds and the rest of your day goes as normal. Tatsu and Tomi don't come home for supper, then when asked told you they're still building their team but making progress. >>5349418“Not going well?” you ask them, the twins nodding without looking up while stripping down to get in the shower themselves. Seems they haven't found anyone as enthusiastic about going back to war as they themselves are. No doubt many are enjoying this post war peace and aren't too eager to get back into a fight. “It's just one day. You two can try again tomorrow.”They don't seem to be encouraged by your words, still seeming down about their failure. So, you take a couple steps towards them, taking a knee then laying a hand on each of their shoulders.“Why are you two down? A single unsuccessful day is enough to break your spirits?” you ask them, looking back and forth between their eyes. “You can't let failures get you down, especially from a single less-than-successful day. If you two can't keep your morale up from this, are you sure you want to go to war?”Your words stun them a moment, the two glancing aside at each other for a moment. As they share their rather unique telepathic communication, you can almost see their expressions change. Both stand up straighter, shoulders back and meeting your gaze confidently.“You're right.” they reply, as even their voices sound more uplifted. “A single failure isn't enough to stop us! We'll get right back to it tomorrow and won't stop until we have a whole team!”“That's the spirit.” you say, ruffling their hair as you rise back up to your feet. “I know you two will get the team you deserve.”Leaving the kids to their shower, you returned to your bedroom where Meloka is waiting for you in the bed. You climb in, Meloka holding Karn Jr and Okira to her chest as you get in beside her. Relaxing with a deep, contented sigh, you quickly fall asleep by her side. You sleep is deep and dreamless, nothing and no one interrupting your peaceful slumber. Once your body is fully rested, ready for the next day, you feel your eyes opening. Waking up, you realize that once more you're the only one up. Meloka, Okira, and Karn Jr are all asleep, as well as Caulifla, Maz, Kayle, and Broly surprisingly who're also asleep in the bed as well. However, Tatsu and Tomi are gone, you take a moment to expand your ki sense. Focusing on their energy, you can feel their unique ki from out in the city. You feel a smile come to your face, seems like they took your advice to heart. But what do you do now?>Sneak out of bed and check up on Chaya, remain by her side until she wakes up if she's still asleep>Sneak out and go for a morning hunt, try and track down some of the remaining Mindslayers for breakfast>Telepathically check in with Silver and ask how everything's going, if something's amiss he's the next most likely to notice>Telepathically reach out to Aku, tell him what happened and see if he can help you get your sword back today or sometime soon>Other(write in)

>>5349538There is only one thing to do. Focusing your mind, you gently grab onto your wife and each of your children, lifting each of them up just enough that you can slip out of bed unnoticed. Broly stirs a bit, but doesn’t wake as you side out, then gently set them all back down as if nothing’d happened. Letting out a small sigh of relief, you grab a training suit before silently walking out the door, putting your clothes on in the hallway as it shuts. As you’re pulling on your gloves, you’re surprised to see that you’re not the only one awake at this time.“Orlen?” you ask, barely above a whisper. “What’re you doing up so early?”“I couldn’t sleep.” he replies, really looking the part with the bags under his eyes. “Watching Chaya take that beating left me unsettled all night. I take it that’s where you’re going?”“Yeah.” you reply, the two of you walking side by side towards the medical bay. “She got hurt bad this time.”“It wouldn’t have, if she had just listened.” he says, surprising heat behind his frustrated voice. “I TOLD her that this challenge was going to be different and if she took it lightly she could lose her title, if not her life. If you weren’t there....”“She could have lost everything.” you continue for him, the two of you getting within view of the medbay’s door. “If I hadn’t gotten a tip off that things could go south, I might not have even gone.”“Wait, who leaked it to you?” he asks, you glancing aside then tap the side of your head with a finger.“Someone not from this timeline.” you telepathically answer, seeing the immediate confusion, surprise, and worry all warring on his face. But before he can ask any questions the automatic door slides open, and you walk inside first. Being that your Ascended Berserker body is just small enough to get through, turning a bit sideways. He follows you in, and the two of you see that Raditz is awake, he and Dr. White staring intently into the healing pod your daughter is in. And immediately sense that something’s wrong. “What’s going on? Talk to me.”“Karn? But how-?” Raditz starts, Dr. White turning fully to you with a familiar look on his face. The one he always has when you show up injured, trying to hide how bad the damage is to the patient. This can’t be good.“Something is wrong.” the older doctor says, confirming your suspicions immediately. “Your daughter should have been awake around three hours ago. But still she does not wake. And that’s not all.”Oh hell, what ELSE is going on?cont
>>5349660“When your daughter Caulifla healed Chaya, she undoubtedly saved her life.” he says, but gestures to her arms. “But however her magic works, it didn’t affect those.”“I saw those marks earlier.” you mutter, once again seeing the lightning-shaped scars going up your eldest daughter’s limbs. They seem even more pronounced now than before, you feeling an uncomfortable worry rising in your guts. “I thought that, if Cauli couldn’t fix it, then the healing pod would.”“I thought the same.” Raditz says with a heavy sigh, speaking up for the first time. “I don’t know what’s wrong.”“Raditz here told me of the machine shaped like a dragon, how it could manipulate electricity into attacks and even recombine other massive machinery with it.” Dr. White continues. “Such a powerful electrical current would probably have killed her, had she not been blessed her father’s endurance and stubbornness. But taking such power into her system can’t be good. Those fractal patterned scars up her arms seem to be the reaults of her arms’ blood vessels bursting as the electricity coursed up her arms.”As he says this you remember how she screamed as she was hit, body thrown violently back away from Vox’s creation. But Dr. White isn’t done yet.“She’s lucky it didn’t stop the electrical signals pulsing in her heart or brain, as that could have killed her outright.” he continues. “But that doesn’t mean she still hasn’t suffered serious damage. That much electricity could have damaged the nerves in her arms, causing intense pain, numbness, or even permanently weaking them, memory or sleep damage, the list goes on. Not to mention the after effects of whatever diabolical magics that maniac Tanya unleashed upon her. Until Chaya wakes up, I won’t be able to accurately access the scale of the damage. Magic and modern technology have done what they can, now all we can do is wait.”You turn back from Dr. White to Chaya, laying your massive left hand on the glass by her head.“Chaya...” you mutter, worry rising up from the depths as you gaze at your daughter. As you do, you see her closed eyes twitching, your daughter no doubt dreaming. But what now?>Stay here with your daughter, at least until everyone else’s up>Try telepathically reaching out to Chaya, and see if you can reach her that way>Leave Chaya in their capable hands, go out on a Mindslayer hunt to fix your family’s breakfast>Go check in with Silver, ask how everything's going and what is a good recovery breakfast for your daughter in the shape she’s in>Telepathically reach out to Aku, tell him what happened with the Abyss and see if he can help you get your sword back today or sometime soon>Other(write in)

>>5349662You stare at your unconscious daughter behind the glass, looking at her face troubled even in her dreams. You want to help her, to DO something to make this okay. Looking down at your right arm, you try futilely to summon Divine Dragon Force. But it is far too soon after using your Stand's Wish, it not having the power to even answer your call, much less appear to help.“Dammit.” you mutter to yourself. “I wish I could DO something.”“The burden of a healer.” Dr. White suddenly speaks up, you turning from your hand to his wizened face. “Knowing there is nothing more you can do, but still feeling obligated to keep doing more to help them. A terrible fate, for those who care for others. But one must know when any further influence would worsen their patient's chances, and not improve them.”“I hate this.” Raditz murmurs, holding his head in his hands as he sits on the ground by your daughter. “I hate feeling helpless.”You turn back from Dr. White to your daughter's sleeping face, watching her twitching occasionally as she wrestles her demons in her sleep. Seeing her struggling in the pod, you can't help but feel that, despite Dr. White's words, you have to do something. So you do, reaching out with your left hand and again placing it against the glass, closing your eyes. You focus everything on your telepathy, reaching out with your mind to try and reach Chaya.“Hey, can you hear me Chaya?” you think out, willing your mind to reach hers. “C'mon kiddo, answer me. I know you're still in there, talk to me.”You don't get a response, but you can feel something. Your mind is almost reaching her, just barely brushing against her consciousness. You grasp onto that tentative connection with everything you've got, pressing harder to try and reach her.“Come on Chaya, I know you can hear me.” you think to her, putting more force behind your thoughts. “Don't give up, I know you're stronger than this! Get UP!”“D...Da...daddy?” comes her weak response, and opening your eyes see her struggling to do the same. You see her fighting to wake up, brows furrowed as she pushes to get her eyes open.“That's it, kiddo, you can do it!” you encourage, redoubling your focus on your mental link with her while maintaining eye contact. You hear the doctor saying something behind you, but your focus is entirely on Chaya. “Don't stay down Chaya, wake up. Get up!”cont
>>5349797You then see it, your daughter's eyes snap fully open as she completely awakens. She looks around confused for a moment, then meets your eyes again. She's awake!“Daddy? What happened?” she asks you telepathically, brows furrowing in confusion. “Where's Tanya?”“Karn, KARN!” Raditz shouts, grabbing you by the arm. You whirl around, and he points at Dr. White.“Get clear, so I can open the pod.” the good doctor says, with a tone that makes you think it isn't the first time he's said so. So you back up, keeping the mental link with your daughter going as the pod rapidly drains.“You're home now kiddo.” you tell her, watching as the pod fully empties and the door slowly opens. A moment later Chaya steps out, still dripping with the pod's fluid when Raditz closes the distance between them instantly, and embraces her.“I thought I was going to lose you.” Raditz says to the clearly confused Chaya, who nevertheless returns the larger Saiyan's embrace while looking around.“What happened?” she asks, looking between you, Orlen, and Dr. White. “What's wrong?”Well?>Just tell her how she's been down since the fight, and should have woken up hours ago. The Patreon has shown the perks GD gives Karn for shit like 'fighting while naked', 'perception of sneaking foes', and shit that we've earned due to consistently rolling really well for them (such that subsequently doing a shit job of them in a future roll would almost be out of character). We haven't seen a 'dad-ing' perk yet, but I reckon we've got one.

See ya!"
>>5349798You don't say anything, instead simply walk up and embrace your daughter as well. She tries to say something in protest, but after a moment just gives in, letting you and Raditz quietly hold her. She then lays her head on Raditz's shoulder, with your arms large enough to be wrapped around the both of them in this form. The three of you remain standing like this quietly, when you feel a sudden change in Chaya and she drops. Without hesitation you let go of the hug and actually catch her, one arm behind her shoulders and the other behind her knees while Raditz freezes in place wide-eyed and caught completely off guard by her suddenly dropping.“Woah. Ho-How long was I out?” Chaya asks, looking from you to Raditz. “What happened? I feel like we're in the gravity chamber.”At this you don't say anything, and turn your gaze to the younger Saiyan. Chaya follows your gaze to him, and after a moment he snaps out of it. Shaking his head, he then reaches out and takes both of her hands in his own.“What's the last thing you remember?” he asks her, his expression serious. “Where were you last?”“Last?” she asks, brows furrowing a bit as she thinks back. “I was fighting Tanya, and I'd just driven my fist through her chest. Wait! Tanya, is she-?”“She's okay.” Raditz says, his expression still a bit worried. “Is that really the last thing you remember? You don't know what happened next?”“No....?” Chaya asks, looking back and forth between you both. “Wait, what happened. You said she's okay, so nothing too bad happened, right?”“Well, she's okay.” Raditz says, clearly worried about telling her the news. But he takes a deep breath, sighing out then continues breaking the news to her. “After all, she's the new Champion.”“Wait, what?” she says, eyes widening in surprise. “What did you just say?”“After you punched through her chest, she put both pistols to your face and opened fire.” he tells her, Chaya going pale. “She kept shooting until they both ran empty, then tried to carve you up with her knife. If your dad hadn't teleported between you two, she would have killed you as you lost consciousness.”“No, no way. Tanya would never.... I couldn't.... I beat her.” your daughter says, eyes wide with shock as the rest of the color drains from her face. “She didn't beat me, she COULDN'T beat me. There's no way I could lose.”“Sorry kiddo, but she got you.” you say, Chaya turning her head around to look up at you. And she doesn't look good, her appearance seeming almost sickly pale from the shock. “You didn't take her seriously, and almost paid the ultimate price.”cont
>>5349895While Chaya looks up at you in shock, for the first time you notice something else as well. Where the tiny fighter's saw had cut Chaya's face on the right side, she now sports a wicked scar similar to the one on the left side of her face. Except this one, unlike the other cut which was with a blade, this one is more jagged and uneven, and even more angular. Her eye itself seems fine, if a few shades lighter now than the other one. But she seems able to see you out of it just fine.“I'm just glad I was there.” you say to her, resting your forehead against hers. “I almost lost you.”“I-I lost?” she asks you, and something inside her holding her up just seems to break. Chaya slumps in your arms, her entire body going limp as she closes her eyes again. “No, no way. I didn't lose, I can't lose...”“I'm sorry, but it's the truth Chaya.” Orlen speaks up, your daughter opening her eyes and turning her head towards the man. “She planned everything, all of it. From the 'invasion' here, to the 'Champion's Gauntlet', all of it. She set it all up just to take you down.”“Tanya.” your daughter says with a bit of a snarl, clenching her fists. But as she does, you notice something else you hadn't seen yet. On her right arm, where she'd used it to block Tanya's saw blade, it also now sports a wickedly jagged scar as well. It seems that somehow Tanya's and Caulifla's magics mixing doesn't allow magic to seamlessly heal the injuries she delivers, but leave a nasty scar instead. Which makes sense, considering she probably comes from a world of people who use magic just like her to fight, and presumably heal as well. “That t-traitor. I'mma kick her ass!”Chaya trembles a bit as she pushes herself up and out of your grip, standing under her own power. Albeit unsteadily, swaying a bit on her feet for a few seconds. But she finds her balance, walking over and grabbing one of her spare training uniforms that's kept in here, just in case of an emergency. As she starts dressing, looking a bit unsteady as she does, your daughter starts ranting angrily.“Championship fights are supposed to be one on one duels, no outside help or interference.” she fumes, Raditz walking over to help her, but she tries to push him back. She doesn't physically move him, but he stops at the gesture as she continues complaining. “Vox knows that. I'mma go give him a piece of my mind, then kick Tanya's ass too! This time I'm gonna break her in two, how dare she think she can take MY title of Champion! Just who does she think she is?”cont

That big a question will make her pause a bit, I'm sure, and we can ask her if the adulation of the puny, insignificant plebs in the audience really mean so much to her, or if it's all just been a bit of fun and affirmation before she moves on to endeavors of true significance to herself and the family she will eventually have. Tell her that we can appreciate that the gladiatorial career was a very enjoyable way for a young saiyan to play (a much grander, larger-scale equivalent to us beating up the other kids in the village back on Planet Vegeta). However, there comes a time when your priorities have to shift from play-time and amusing yourself, to working hard to establish and secure the life and future you want for yourself.Tell her that we understand that she might feel hard-done-by and frustrated at the unfairness of the Championship duel rules (of non outside help/interference) being broken, and reluctant or even embarrassed to just walk away after having been knocked from the top of the podium (without even attempting to reclaim her spot). But in the big picture of what will be her life, those are essentially non-issues. In a few years, she won't give a shit anymore.Instead, she should focus on working towards SS3 like her mother (or golden oozaru control and SS4 like King Vegeta), >and preparing for battle against the literal gods themselves (both those of this universe - like the Supreme Kai and Kars - and the SKoT). These beings have shown themselves to be hostile to the culture and survival of the Saiyans, and as such it may one day fall to her to slaughter them in order to protect her lifestyle, her family, her people and her future. Besides, if she is really so motivated by kudos and accolades, which will bring her more; beating Tanya in a rematch aired between ads for Galaxy Dew soda, or ripping off the Supreme Kai's head in front of an army of cheering Saiyan warriors?(Joke with her; and if she is still pissed in five years, then fuck it, she can just go blow up Vox's headquarters, and she'll be so much stronger that there's nothing he (or Tanya) can do about it.)>Obviously I've gone a bit overboard detailing a whole conversation / speech here, but the gist is that we don't pussy-foot around (eg taking her to the gravity chamber and hoping that a new goal just spontaneously manifests in her mind), and we just explicitly describe the approach we believe she should take, and why. >i.e. give direct advice and guidance.
>>5349974Actually, a good line to drop in there to grab her attention and put her in the right mindset is this;>"Your next big fight won't be a rematch bout against Tanya. It will be a fight to the death against a God."
With Chaya focusing on 'how dare she take MY TITLE!!!!!", it is perhaps even worth pointing out to her that at any time, we could have popped in to see Vox, arranged a fight, beaten her up with ease and taken her title. We didn't do so because "Dreadzone Champion" means precisely fuck all to anyone with any real power. Karn doesn't care about it. Meloka doesn't. Freeza doesn't. King Vegeta doesn't. Ubo doesn't. Even if it is a competition featuring assorted warriors from across the universe, the title 'Dreadzone Champion' is not the same thing as the status 'universe's strongest warrior'Perhaps that status is what she might find more fulfillment in working towards.
There's also a back-up tactic we can use here in case our arguments / approaches don't shift Chaya's priorities/values; use Raditz.Chaya has been content to play the attention-seeking fitness insta-thot and the big fish in the Dreadzone gladiatorial pond because it hasn't visibly cost her too much in terms of power or progress. Her peers are still either below her or - in the case of Chilli and Broly - just slightly ahead and able to be explained away as just being due to the advantage of magic weirdness and Legendary forms which she doesn't have access to. The greater prowess of a potential-Chaya (who has devoted herself to a warrior lifestyle and mindset) is theoretical and harder to grasp/visualise.What will serve as a wake-up call is if we convince Raditz - who has always been near or slightly below Chaya in power - to really get stuck in to his training. He might push hard to get to the point where golden great ape training is viable, and from there achieve gains (in base power or unlocked transformations) which blow Chaya out of the water. Seeing someone, who was previously her peer or slight-lesser, leave her in his dust like that might serve to shock Chaya, and she'll be dragged into competency in her boyfriend's wake as she rushes to try to adjust her habits to catch up to him.So, yeah, ideally a Karn talk will be enough to rectify her attitude. But I think we should try to have a talk to Raditz, too, explain this to him, and use him as a back-up strategy. He's invested enough in her that this might appeal to him.

>>5350026I definitely like the idea of using Raditz like that.
>>5349974>>5349993>>5350009I like this approach a lot, let Chaya spar with her old man to get SOME of the frustration and loss out for a few days, and then hit her with the biggie. If glory is what she truly desires (as vain as that could be) we should encourage her to go higher and really take training seriously to be the best. Which sounds better: Chaya the Dreadzone Champion, or Chaya the Godslayer?>>5350026This sounds like a good backup plan, but a small part of me fears the fallout if Chaya thinks we're against her for coaching Raditz into beating HER instead of us being by Chaya's side. Basically she puts 2 & 2 together and comes up with 5.

Why?” she asks, trying to stand up but stumbles a bit. Raditz catches her by the shoulder, keeping her from falling over. “Tch!”“Because you're clearly not okay, your body isn't ready for another fight.” you tell her, raising a finger. “So, you're going to come join me on my morning workout. If you think you can go confront them right after we're done, then I won't stop you. But then and only then can you go back, no matter how many days or weeks it takes you to get to that point. Understand?”“What the hell, why?” Chaya asks, and from her tone you can tell she's shocked and angry. “She stole my title, why are you stopping me from goin' and getting it back?”“I'm not stopping you.” you tell her, crossing your arms. “Your own weakness is what's holding you back. So we're gonna beat that weakness out of you. That is, if Dr. White gives you the okay.”You turn from her, meeting the good doctor's gaze. He looks worried, but after a moment looking at your daughter sighs out, turning his gaze back to you and gives you a nod. A reluctant nod, but a nod nonetheless. But from his expression, it's clear he wants you to bring her back in here right afterwards.“Alright kiddo, doc's given the go ahead so let's go.” you say, turning from her towards the door. “Let's get to work.”“Fine. I'll do this and THEN go kick their asses.” your daughter says confidently, following you out of the medical bay as you lead her to the gravity chamber. Raditz follows along as well, you leading the trio inside. “Bring it on, I can do this no problem!”So, what level do you take her to?>5x gravity, keep it light as you're not sure how much she can withstand like this>10x gravity, go to a level that will challenge her but not push her limits>30x gravity, push her limits at her usual best level while giving you a decent workout>50x gravity, push your own base form's limits much less Chaya's>Other(write in)

>>5350309"Well, if you're really sure." you say, walking over directly to the control panel while reverting back down to your base form. You take the gravity selector and crank it up to 30x New Salda's gravity, looking back at the two of them for a moment before hitting the button. The enhanced gravity begins charging up with a hum, the room's ambient glow changing to a deep red. You feel the gravity begin increasing, then all at once the weight slams down on your shoulders. You give a little with your knees, letting the weight settle down onto you, as you watch Raditz and Chaya. He handles it well enough, almost dropping to a knee but remaining upright. But then there's Chaya.“GYAAA!” she cries out, the gravity immediately flattening her to the ground.“Chaya!” Raditz exclaims, turning to help her up, but you stop him.“NO.” you say, Raditz freezing in place before turning to look up at you, expression worried. “She has to pull herself up.”“No. Fair.” Chaya complains from the ground, forcing her head up enough to glare at you with one eye. “I can't train as hard as you.”“I know that. Which is why this is only thirty times gravity.” you say, Chaya's eye widening in shock. “The same gravity you use to train at. I told you, your body is in no condition to go anywhere, much less pick a fight.”“Only thirty times....” you hear her mutter to herself between breaths, laying flat on the ground a moment before planting her palms on the floor, “Tch! GRRRAAAAA!”You watch as she struggles, putting her all into forcing herself upright. And it is a struggle, it taking her well over a minute to get her knees up under her, then her feet, and finally standing up. Once she's fully upright, gasping for air, you give her a small nod.“Good. Now we can begin.” you say, quickly dropping down to all fours. “Let's start with a thousand push-ups.”“I-I can do this!” Chaya says, sounding as if she's pumping herself up while slowly lowering herself back down to the ground. You notice Raditz watching her with concern, focused on her more than getting in position himself. Only once she's flat on the ground does he lower himself as well, keeping his scoutered left eye on her. “I won't quit.”“That's the spirit. Now, let's get started!” you call, and start counting out each rep. “One! Two! Three!”cont
>>5350415Your body moves almost mechanically, having done so many over the years you don't have to focus as much attention on doing the workout perfectly, as it is ingrained in your muscles at this point. Instead you also focus on Chaya. Who, despite trying her best and struggling with all she's got, only manages a single push-up for each six or seven you do. Normally she could keep pace, or at least within a dozen or so by the end, but she's not able to keep up at all today. She's in even worse shape than you'd thought, your daughter breathing heavy and struggling after only a few hundred, while you're already almost finished.“Nine nine seven! Nine nine eight! Nine nine nine! One thousand!” you call out, finishing that set and rising back up to your feet as Chaya struggles with the one she's one.“Two hundred. Eighty nine!” she shouts, pushing herself up, then collapses flat on the ground, arms spent. She doesn't even try and recover, laying on the ground and trying to catch her breath. “D-Dammit. I'm. Not. Done. Yet!”“That's it, we're moving on.” you tell her, walking over to the set of horizontal bars and hanging yourself upside down from them. “Time for vertical sit-ups. Let's move it.”You hang there upside down as you watch your daughter, who struggles once again to get back up to her feet. She doesn't just give up and quit, despite it taking over two minutes to get back up to her feet. Raditz offers her a hand, but she actually slaps it away.“I can. Do this. Myself.” she gets out between tired breaths, you seeing the younger man's face get a dark look for a moment. But he simply sighs out, and joins you on the bars. Chaya does so as well after a few moments, flying instead of climbing up, and getting into position as well. Her breathing is ragged, but she still looks over to you determinedly. “R-Ready.”“Then let's go. Another thousand. One! Two! Three!” you call out, bending at the waist and core to bring your head up almost touching your knees. “Four! Five!”This workout continues much like the last, Chaya getting less than a third of the total required before her body gives out, dropping out of the bars directly at the ground. Neither you nor Raditz can react in time, Chaya landing head first before crumpling to the ground, unmoving. Immediately you leap off of the bars and land beside her, worried, but she's still conscious. You'd feared such a blow would have knocked her right out, but she's still struggling to remain awake.“Not...Yet...” she mutters almost deliriously, not looking at you as she still tries sitting up. As if she's still on the bars and hasn't even realized that she fell off. “Don't...Quit...”cont

Augh, she was so young as the champ, look at what stardom does to child celebrities! They peak at 14 and then its all downhill from there
>>5350419"Raditz, turn off the gravity for a minute, would you?" you ask, picking up your daughter's limp frame and holding her to your chest as the gravity quickly returns to normal. You carry Chaya to the door, heading out and back to the medical bay when you hear someone call out from behind you."Daddy, Raditz? What's-CHAYA?!" Cauli shouts, rushing up to you. "Sis is awake?”“She was.” you say over her disoriented murmuring, Caulifla looking at her worriedly. “She was insistent that she go challenge Tanya for a rematch, despite the shape she's in, so I took her to the gravity chamber to show her just what kind of shape she's in.”“Here, let me.” Caulifla mutters, taking up her bell in her hand and ringing it a few times while quickly muttering the words. It chimes softly before another wave of golden light radiates out, the warm, gentle glow seeping into your body. “There. That should help.”“Thanks kiddo. I'm sure it'll help her out quite a bit.” you say, gesturing for her to come with you and Raditz. She walks along as you carry your oldest, Caulifla looking at Chaya's right arm in shock.“Wh-My healing didn't fix her?” Cauli asks, sounding dejected. “I though for sure....”“You saved your sister's life.” you tell her, reaching over with your tail and patting her head gently. “If it wasn't for you and your magic healing, Chaya probably wouldn't even be alive right now. Scars are a small price to pay for staying alive.”“I-I guess you're right.” Caulifla says, looking down at her chime still in her hand a moment. You have no idea what she's thinking, but that can wait until after you've talked with Dr. White again. The medbay's door opens as you approach, and see one of the scanning tables similar to the one you and Meloka were scanned on when Super Saiyan that usually sits idly by the back wall has been wheeled into the center of the room, the good doctor typing away at something behind his desk. And without looking up, he starts speaking.“That took a bit longer than expected.” he says, still typing away. As he does the scanner itself rises up and away from the table, giving you room to lay your daughter's now-unconscious body down on it. “But as stubborn as she is, perhaps it shouldn't be. She does take after her hard-headed father.”“I'll take that as a compliment.” you reply, laying your daughter on the table then step back, turning to face him. “She fell head-first off some of the equipment, so I called it early.”“Of course she did.” he replies with a sigh, shaking his head. “You Saiyans. Always pushing your bodies past where any other rational beings would stop. But I suppose that is what makes you all such excellent warriors.”cont
>>5350516“Why didn't my healing fix her arms, and her face?” Caulifla suddenly asks him, standing beside the nasty saw and lightning scars on her right side. “Usually my magic heals everyone up no problem, and doesn't leave a scar behind. Why didn't it work this time?”“If your healing is magical in nature, then perhaps there is an issue with it clashing against the remains of that Tanya woman's magic.” he proposes, still typing away as the scanner lowers down around Chaya's body and starts turning on. “She seems the type to make injuries she deals irreparable. Or maybe the damage exceeded what your magic could heal? But I cannot use magic, so I am not the best one to ask such hypotheticals.”“I'mma go ask Raven.” Cauli says, expression resolute as she turns to you. “Let me know when she's back awake, okay?”“Of course I will.” you reply to your daughter, watching as she dashes out the door and out of sight. “What do you think is wrong with Chaya?”“Besides exhaustion?” he replies, and his expression darkens a bit. “I think much of her weakness is due to too much blood loss. Judging from the remains of her injuries when she arrived, she bled out quite a bit. And that is all after the burns the lightning inflicted to her on the inside.”“Burned? On the inside?” Raditz asks, confused. “Is that how it made those marks up her arms, by burning her insides after tearing up her blood?”“Electricity is a very useful form of energy, making our everyday lives easier and more efficient. But it is also quite destructive.” Dr. White says as the scanner starts up, humming at an almost identical frequency to the gravity chamber. “Especially with as many amperes it would take to lift and recombine machinery on the scale that was described. The fact she could survive such a hit in the first place is remarkable. But now I must focus, and document everything. I will contact both of you with the findings once the procedure is finished.”“Thanks again doc. I know she's in good hands.” you tell him, giving the doctor a small salute before heading towards the door. But Raditz is still standing there, looking down at Chaya with a face full of worry. “You coming?”“I think I'll stay here, in case doc needs help with anything.” Raditz says idly, not looking up.Well? Raditz asks you, a hit of something accusatory in his voice."It's just like Dr. White said. You have to know when you can't do anything else to help." you tell him with a bit of a sad smile on your face, seeing the good doctor smirk a bit to himself. "If Dr. White can't do anything for her, then there's absolutely no way that by just standing around could I change the outcome. And she wouldn't want me just standing around either, not when there are other things I could and probably should be doing. I'll leave her in your care.”With that you head towards the door, deciding on what to do next. As you do, for just a moment you remember back to the titanic Abyssal dragon you'd battled just yesterday. More specifically, how your sword seemingly sealed the Abyss away inside the beast when you'd stabbed it. But you can't just leave your sword down there forever, you never know when you'll need it next. And you can't just take it back either, else that sealed-away darkness may be able to come back. You ponder over the problem of how to get your sword back without re-releasing the Abyss, when suddenly it comes to you! You have an expert of all things Dark you can reach out to. So you do, walking idly down the halls as you reach out telepathically to the one who can help.“Hey, Aku. Need your help with something, if you've got a moment.” you think out to the self-proclaimed Shapeshifting Master of Darkness. “It's about the Abyss.”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FzSVnrHXa0“Kaaaarn, good to hear from you again!” Aku replies after a moment, you hearing the same unsettling noise through the mental link you do when in his presence. “And what's this about Abyss troubles, friend? That seal I put down on the rift should hold for a thousand years, at least. Don't tell me something managed to break through there?”“No, not through there. We had another one.” you tell him, then quickly summarize what you learned from the Rak'kari about the Abyssal Trench, how you and their warriors had invaded it But when you got to the being who interfered, he stops you.“Wait, you battled that meddlesome lurker?” he asks, tone pleasantly surprised. “This is good, now I won't have to worry about it every single time I travel through-”“I didn't kill it. In fact, it stole something from me that may have made it stronger.” you interrupt, and explain how you'd battled a weaker version of it in another timeline and took something from it into yourself before this version ripped it out of you, stealing a chunk of your power then as well. “But that's not what I'm trying to tell you about. After it stole that from me, I fell even deeper into the Abyss, and came face-to-face with a titanic black dragon.”“YOU WHAAAT?!”cont
>>5350637“Impossible. There is no way you survived against that monster.” Aku continues, his surprise and disbelief radiating through the telepathic link. “Even I, the Master of Masters, the Shapeshifting Master of Darkness could not defeat that one. It nearly devoured my essence a few years back, I only barely escaped thanks to pure luck, and that Shard being cocky. There is no way you escaped it. Uhh, no offense.”“None taken, I didn't escape it.” you reply, feeling a bit smug. “I ran my sword through its chest.”“Wait, your sword?” Aku asks, as if struggling to remember. But then you sense his sudden surprise through the link, as he remembers when he'd seen it. “You mean THAT sword, the blade of the Abyss Walker himself?”“Shoved it into the monster's chest.” you confirm. “When I did, the Abyss seemingly vanished. Then I drove my daughter's spear all the way through its head, and it quit moving.”“You..... You actually defeated it....” Aku replies after a few moments of silence, you walking down the entrance ramp and take in the early morning sun. “I didn't think I would be able to absorb that fragment until I'd claimed all of the others. But you really defeated it?”“I did. Which is why I'm calling you.” you answer. “I want my sword back. But if I retrieve it, won't the Abyss just spread out from it again? I remember fighting the skeletal remains of the one down in the ruins, and nothing I did could put that monster down. I'm worried if I pull my sword out, it and the Abyss it contains will just go free again.”“You are right, if the blade is removed and that beast allowed to recover, it will undoubtedly spread the Abyss on your world once more.” Aku replies, but you can almost feel his eagerness. “However, if she were to be absorbed by another child of Dark, like myself, then your sword could be retrieved easily and without consequence.”“You mean without consequence other than letting you grow even more powerful.” you say, seeing his intentions. If Aku gains that power, then one day he could be a menacing threat. But so far, every action taken by the 'Master of Masters' has been helpful to you and your people. And you would never forget how much he helped you and your people during the Siege of New Salda as well, destroying thousands of the Covenant's warships before they could even reach your world. “So, what do you say? Want to come here, and we can help each other out?”“It would be my pleasure, friend.” Aku replies. He may be an Abyssal creature himself, but as long as he's on your side, and doesn't try to spread that Darkness over your world, you're content to let him grow as powerful as he can. Who knows, maybe you all will need his help again someday, against even more impossible odds. QM UPDATE/QUESTIONSWith Chaya just starting out on thr path to recovery and deciding her future, Tatsu and Tomi soon heading off to find their own conflicts, Chilli establishing himself as the most dangerous being on his world, and the last threats on New Salda being neutralized, we’re heading forward at a quick and steady pace. This arc should start drawing ramping up soon, and after Freeza lands on Namek we’ll start moving into the second half of the arc. Many of the subplots and mini arcs you all chose to get involved in have already been wrapped up, leaving only a few remaining. And what is his Wish?

I feel like we've been given zero hints as to what it could be.
>>5351079> Which character(s) outside the family do you want to see more of/spend more time with before this arc concludes, either in-character or through intermissions/epilogues?King Vegeta is always good to chat with; see how his SS4 training is going and how he's handling the balance of training and rulership.Bardock is good too, for the rivalry aspect. Would be good to see how his progression is going.>Which family member(s) do you want to get more screen time, either now or as they start growing older over the next near-decade?The youngest ones. Maz+Kayle, Okira, Karn Jr. Start to develop their personalities as they grow old enough to actually have one.>Whose pov are you wanting to see more of through upcoming intermissions/epilogues?Turles? Freeza. THE BOI and Xeno Vegeta (perhaps a conversation between them for Vegeta's impressions of Karn and a thriving Saiyan society, plus young King Vegeta vs himself)>Do you think the Planet Namek adventure will go more or less smooth than it did in canon? If they're stubborn it might be hard to force them to speak in Namekian and summon the dragon for us.Freeza is a bit less of an obnoxious dick-bag, but the Namekians are still unlikely to be willing to give him the balls; we'll likely still need to take them by force.Any fights will be pretty east (unless the Namekians all fuse or something, and even then we can handle it).But there's one major issue; we don't have a dragon radar. If the the Namekian are smart enough to just hide the balls in the wilderness, rather than just leaving them with each village elder, we'll have trouble finding them. And, yeah, as I said, even once we've collected them, we'll have trouble summoning the dragon and making our wishes (unless we can coerce a Namekian into faithfully translating for us without betrayal, or someone can pull competency with Namekian language from their minds telepathically or something).>What do you think Freeza’s Stand will be, if the dagger chooses him at all? And what is his Wish?Wish; the world's most comfortable pair of underwear.
>>5351079I'm glad I was able to catch up to this surprisingly long running quest. Im glad for it though.>Which character(s) outside the family do you want to see more of/spend more time with before this arc concludes, either in-character or through intermissions/epilogues?Honestly, I want to see more of Karn's students and tertiary saiyans like Cassa. I want to see how we've impacted them and how they're doing. Then I want to see a bit more of B7, Ubo, Bardock's family and the next generation of saiyans (Ticho, Parsla, etc.)>Which family member(s) do you want to get more screen time, either now or as they start growing older over the next near-decade?Both pairs of twins and our half demon children Maza, Milha, and Koruza. It breaks my heart seeing how they get the least attention.>Who’s pov are you wanting to see more of through upcoming intermissions/epilogues?I'm tempted to say Frieza but Kazuma's bitching at his expense, usually because he inflicts the problem on himself, is hilarious. But a POV I want to see that HASN'T been done before is Nail and Dende>Do you think the Planet Namek adventure will go more or less smooth than it did in canon?Far smoother. There's no meddling Earthlings or dastardly Super Saiyans to stop Frieza, and he's like 25x stronger in his final form than canon, and has goldform to boot. Plus, Guru's younger since Frieza is on namek decades earlier, so hes not biting the dust anytime soon.>What do you think Freeza’s Stand will be, if the dagger chooses him at all? And what is his Wish? These are the big mysteries. I imagine that his Stand would be some sort of instakill bullshit, and as for the wish we got somewhere close. I think it might be magical invulnerability/resistance so he doesn't get fucked up by wizards?
>>5351136>It breaks my heart seeing how they get the least attention.Don't worry, we'll make sure it breaks SKoT's heart, too. It is her fault, after all
>>5351142There's the issue of our dormant stand. I'm assuming it takes a year to recharge.>Karn and Chili having a father & son moment killing the Supreme Cunt of Time together when?
>>5351151I reckon Karn (or whoever else) will end up killing Shin and Kars first - when they inevitably end up getting uppity - before we end up having our final showdown with the SKoT.So we've got that to look forward to.
Adding on to my last comment: I like how the SKoT and the Time Patrol plays the Big Bad role in this quest. Unlike other reoccurring baddies like the Covenant, Nefarious, the Hive, and other enemies, the Time Patrol aren't mustache twirlers. They believe and more importantly ACT like the heroes of their story, and the villain in ours. A lesser quest would've hammed up the faux goodness and make the Time Patrol crueler and meaner than the source material, make them bad "good guys". But here though they have identical sensibilites, mannerisms, and goals as "canon" and they act in character. Its less of the good guys being changed into bad guys and more of a flipped perspective, and I appreciate it a lot. The Time Patrol's duties are for the greater good, but they are incompatible with Karn's world and his existence, creating some good conflict.
>>5351172They crashed both our wedding and Chilli's for no good reason. Total dicks. At least they got their fucking shit rocked both times.
>>5351181To play the Kai's Advocate, both times were opportunities to accost Towa, the elusive time criminal. Her actions did affect the timeline and made it more unstable since time travel is a big bitch. but the nature is dubious. Is she really "going back in time" or is she hopping to other parallel dimensions? That said, they have no professionalism or any sort of Geneva Convention for space time warfare. They endangered civillians not once but TWICE with their bullshit, and they don't even have a fucking warrant for arriving in another timeline. With that in mind, The Boi and his flunkies were BEGGING to get Karn'd. The timeglowies in blue have not ONCE tried to get on Karn's level while the literal fucking demon lord guy is cordial with him. Its so goddamn simple to be nice to him that its laughable how bad they are at PR.
>>5351100Ubo at least has the excuse of rarely being on world anymore, as his time is mostly spent out looking for remnants of his own people.A student pov would be the equivalent of a newish justice league hero being taught by superman and wonder woman. The younger twins are five, they’ll start seriously training and adding gravity to the mix during the skips. They’ve already started lessons with the late Guardian.>I think a certain divine retard and an overconfident NEET are gonna absolutely bungle Frieza's plans.Quite possibly, if they live that long.>I feel like we've been given zero hints as to what it could beWell, that means either my hints went unnoticed or they were too vague. Maz and Kayle have little in common with Tatsu and Tomi. Okira’s already destined to be more reserved simply due to her Stand’s nature.Their cooperation will be dependent on a few factors. How Freeza and his people treat them and who, or what, is also looking for them will be the dominant two.>>5351136Happy you’ve joined us, what do you think of this wild ride so far?>the next generationSoon.>the half-demon kidsGood news, we’ll be heading back soon. He underestimated a mortal once, and for that spent several decades floating through space. He’s not making that mistake again, since he could simply NOT fight and easily outlive even long-lived mortal beings like Hit and King Cold. Being of the Kai race does have its advantages.>>5351172>and they act in characterThat’s the most important part, in my opinion, of doing fanfic right. Outside of beings who’s life trajectory Karn directly influenced and changed, they would remain exactly as they are in canon. Karn may be a bit stu-ish, but he’s neither a Mary Sue or The Good Guy(TM). Just a man doing what he thinks is best for him and his people( screw what the gods who tried to have his lover and eventual wife killed, his family killed, and his entire species killed think.>>5351200>The timeglowies in blue have not ONCE tried to get on Karn's level while the literal fucking demon lord guy is cordial with himFor good reason. Just a man doing what he thinks is best for him and his peopleThis is probably why I latched on to this quest, he wasn't a super good or super evil guy, or at least forced to. For all the powers he has up his ass he's a fairly simple and humble badass who grew up fighting to forge his own destiny against a universe that seemingly goes out of its way to destroy him. No "too cool for school" type of shit, he takes his lemons and makes lemonade.>For good reason. He remembers the role that one specific Karn played in his original defeat and end of reality. GD, thoughts on Ultra Instinct vs Ultra Ego for Karn? With Karn's highly-trained Energy Body and his Berserker forms, a technique (Ultra Ego) which derives its power from taking hits head-on, soaking up the damage, and indulging in destruction and bloodthirsty, ferocious instincts seems fairly synergistic. However, the issue is that succumbing to the bloodlust also seems like a recipe for disaster with the Berserker forms. (Control/mastery of those forms has always centred around getting that bloodlust under control, and allowing this to lapse or even be amplified seems like it would turn Karn into a DBZmovie KAKAROT!!!!"-screaming Broly-level retard.)
>>5351181>>5351200For what its worth, if I remember the info on Chillis wedding right, Trunks showed up to tell the 'not karn clan' time fuckers to leave, like Majin Otaro. But when he saw everyone there, he bailed, then came back with a larger group to make people hestiate long enough he could actually bring up why hes there without getting his shit rocked. But then Majin Ootaru shifted into our dad, attacked Trunks, Trunks 'killed him', and it was all over but the Doom Sound Track after that.>>5351285>So far, Karn vs. The Arbiter was one of the most hype battles, I was at the edge of my seat despite knowing that the adventure continued. I also noticed that as time went on, the power gap between Karn and the other saiyans grew way apart, esp with Karn and Meloka, they used to be neck and neck, oh well.Meloka basically went down her own path of 'rather then Getting SWOLE I'm just going to exploit my Ki Control and Yandere Powers to become the most hyper lethal I possibly can' and its worked. She might not be able to match people in power level but in a fight to the death I still give her a decent shot against even Primal Vegeta.
You guys think Vegito/Gogeta would be able to instant transmission if they were being choked and stabbed?I'm asking because I'm back to planning exactly how we can get rid of Xeno Goku and/or Xeno Vegeta permanently.
>>5351537The instant transmission requires focus, I think it would be pretty hard to do so with a hole in your chest.
>>5351285>Karn vs. The Arbiter was one of the most hype battlesYes it was, in fact both of them against the first Arbiter were. That progression and sense of improvement was good to feel in the televised rematch.>the power gap between Karn and the other saiyans grew way apart, esp with Karn and MelokaTrue. Mainly due to Karn’s sense of “If I don’t who will?”, and all the near-deaths fighting things that by all rights should have killed him. Like even recently with that Abyss Dragon. It was literally a magnitude stronger than the one Primal Vegeta and Golden Freeza had to help you not even kill but blast out of New Salda’s atmosphere way back.>he wasn't a super good or super evil guy, or at least forced toRight? At the end of the day he’s just a guy doing whatever it takes to protect him and his people.>I can only imagine how many KEKS he had watching Karn dominate Trunks and his fellow PatrollersHe was watching, hell he was present to see that one version of SKoT get erased before his very eyes.>>5351294You were paying attention to Chaya during the workouts, but Raditz realized just how far behind you he was. He’s got some motivation now.He plans on living more the hermit lifestyle, spending most of his days either with Megumin or studying the arcane. Jergal rarely assigns missions to the youngest Reapers, but Chilli has heard a rumor of a tomb ruled by an unusually powerful undead...>>5351405Neither, as both states require divine ki to transform into. Karn could learn the mindset and ‘technique’ of UI, but cannot take on that form anymore. Not after his accessing of the next level of Berserker.>>5351455He was originally after Ozotto, who was pursuing Constantine. But after he returned with backup to help keep Karn’s family in check, Ozotto attacked with Tatsu’s face and all chances of a peaceful resolution died. Exactly as Ozotto planned. To put it in perspective, her current LEAST lethal energy attack is her Energy Blades.>>5351537Choked? Easily, but would most likely teleport the choker with them. Stabbed less likely, but again taking them with you. You know, the whole physical contact thing.
>>5351572I'm really just trying to think of the set-up.This is rough outline and subject to change, but if we had to fight either of the fusion warriors, I'd go for something like this;>Scattershot to draw their attention>Meloka throws a barrage of tightly packed Ki Needles behind us as we charge>Pivot directly upwards at the last second>They either block the needles or take them dead on>We go for a choke and engage our Immovable Energy Body>Meloka goes in with Death Slashes>Karn tanks the damage while our opponent gets turned into salsa>
>>5351636Hmmm...do any of Milha's curses disable the ability to sense Ki?
>>5351659>but if we had to fight either of the fusion warriorsHe says, as if there are only two. It’s nearly time for another Time Patrol battle. Not a bad setup, but there are far better ones for maximum lethality at minimal risk.>>5351717Does putting someone in so much agony it nearly KOd Karn count? That one would probably be the most effective in that regard. That or Koruza’s Stand.
>>5351737Honestly, we should be drilling Insta-kill setups with Meloka as often as we can.Into fairly certain we have an inmate bonus to team attacks as a couple anyhow.>Does putting someone in so much agony it nearly KOd Karn count?Yes actually. My main idea revolves around causing as much pain, panic, and confusion as possible so they can't defend themselves against our most lethal attacks. Also somewhat off topic question, but does Future Chaya know Instant Transmission? Also why is it that Towa seemingly never gives us backup healing items when we go fight on her behalf?
>>5351790>Also why is it that Towa seemingly never gives us backup healing items when we go fight on her behalf? And stoop to the Time Patrol's level? Perish the thought! We're proud saiyan warriors that don't need no senzu beans to win a fight! Plus, do you really want an endless heal battle? That's how you get a heal battle.
>>5351809Fair enough. The razor's edge is where we're at our best anyways.
>>5351790>we should be drilling Insta-kill setups with Meloka as often as we canThat’s a good idea, in theory. But falls apart when you realize you’re under 25/8 surveillance by the Time Patrol. In episode 99/100, she had two Senzu Beans. That was it. She had one on her person, and her assistant Churai had the other back at base. So she could travel in and heal whoever was about to bite the big one instantly. >>5352182Now this is podracing. Nice work GD. Since >>5351405 brought it up, how does everyone feel about "True Ultra Instinct" and "Divine Ki Avatar Goku". Personally I'm indifferent with Goku having to refine and upgrade his UI into a new form every arc. But if the True Perfected Ultra Instinct just ends up being his limited colored White Haired Super Saiyan form, minus the red eyes I'm going to be keking so hard. That's the book ending roundabout trolling I expect from Toriyama. Also thought Gas's Astral Projecting his spirit for Spectral limbs cause he's so frail in his old form to be pretty interesting. Sound like a worthwild asset to have if we ever get proper training from Yardrat.
>>5352246Remember when Goku achieved UI?Oh but it wasn't the actual fully realized version of the form?Oh but then he figured that out too so he had the fully realized version?Oh but it wasn't really actually totally?I'm screaming.

This coming epilogue will be a hard view for the Chaya fans across the universe. But a new champion has arisen and a new era of Dreadzone savagery is just beginning to dawn
>>5353324Oh lord. Tanya has no idea what she just signed up for, does she?
>>5353349The power of trillions of consoomers, simps, and autists all directed at one person. How can she cope with the unmitigatible shitshow that will unfold?
>>5353351The musclefans will be absolutely livid that their prime sources for Big, Beefy Amazons have now been permanently plucked for a petite loli. In other news, the lolicons are now invading the dreadzone for the new era.
Quick question GD. Would Chaya benefit from talking to the Guardian's Holocron?I'm only asking because I'm fairly certain where that would lead.
>>5353355>Tanya's next challenger
>>5353355>[an approaching chorus of "flat is justice"]uh oh
>>5347530Same as every time. She's going to ride her man to the root even if she has to ask Towa for porn physics magic for the assist. Duh.
>>5353349No. Not even a bit. She saw Chaya’s carefree attitude and thought it was due to having to do less work daily than herself. But she’ll learn.>>5353351The same way she does everything: convert it into power and leverage.>>5353355Ha. Chaya could potentially keep her whole workout streaming setup going, as Vox’d still make a LOT of money off it. But would she even want to anymore, facing the fans after letting them down?>>5353366The old Guardian could give her advice, but would she listen? Is Chaya going to listen to Karn and NOT find a way to reach out to Vox for the rematch?>>5353454Wtf is this?
>>5353763In all fairness we haven't completed forbid her from going back for a rematch (for now). We only told her she could go back if she wants after training.
>>5353857You told her she could “then and only then” go back after she could do so right after training no matter how many days or weeks that took.
>>5353981Well...given how she damn near died of blood loss, has burn scars inside of her veins, and hasn't even actually healed yet despite Caulifla's magic and Doctor White's intervention, she's probably not gonna be good to go for at least a few months.
>>5353995When has physical limitations stopped an angry teenager before? Especially one with almost Vegeta-tier pride wounded. She IS the Champion of Dreadzone, and someone came and stole that from her. Even if it kills her, she can’t let such an insult go unchallenged.
>>5354045Fair enough, but Karn always knows when someone's trying to sneak. Either into somewhere, or away from it. She can't escape from the absolute unit that is her dad.
>>5354070>Sneak off without your dad Karn knowing>DC: 95>Chaya critfails her stealth roll again
>>5354070>She can't escape from the absolute unit that is her dad.If he’s around, and not occupied with something.>>5354096Ha!
>>5354104That's what Raditz, Orlen, Doctor White, and the rest of our crew are for.
>>5353763That depends entirely on what we as a collective want to say or project onto her. We should plan out precisely where we want to sway or push Chaya to focus. Meloka for instance would probably want her to commit fully to the PTO and stop playing pretend with her rival gladiator games. But that's an assumption and I rather have cold, hard facts than what ifs.
>>5354145Ya know...we could just ask for some advice before we start getting direct with our guidance. We could talk to the old Guardian and ask if he has any experience in this sort of thing.Or King Cold.Any parent or longtime mentor really.
>>5354118Like Orlen would oppose her. Dr. White can recommend, but not physically stop her. Which leaves Raditz. Would he try and stop her? Accompany her to keep her from making a big mistake? Or would he have a third solution?>>5354145Meloka does believe that Chaya’s wasting her time. Mainly because she’s been coasting a bit and resting on her laurels.>>5354148But do you have anyone like that? The Guardian was a teacher, not a parent. And King Cold’s answer would obviously be beat the uppity kid into submission, as many times as it takes plus a few more for good measure like he did with his oldest. Silva would probably have the same answer as well. You could always ask yourself “What would Tatsu’ve done”, but he was more teacher/coach than parent as well and didn’t try to control you once you were a man.
>>5354148>King ColdAs intelligent as he is, he's the LAST person we should ask for advice with children, ESPECIALLY teenage children.
>>5354153>Which leaves Raditz. Would he try and stop her?If we asked him to, I bet he would. Especially if we help him along to the logical conclusion that she's either gonna get herself hurt or do something terrible for no good reason.>But do you have anyone like that?GODDAMNIT WHY DO WE HAVE TO BE THE FIRST GENERATION TO ACTUALLY BE REGULAR PARENTS?!
>>5354153There is definitely no easy option. I 100% see her trying to reclaim her title, injuries be damned, and it being the death of her (or atleast her ego). I don't want her to feel trapped, but I also wouldn't like to rush to a space arena to carry off her corpse. I don't see us shaking off her vengeful short-term goal of decimating Tanya so things can go back to normal.I just want to present options to her before she makes a big mistake we can't Papa Wolf our way out of. Ideally we ask her what inspired her to be the champion of dreadzone, and what it really means to her, but we can only do so much if she doesn't open up. There are a lot of bitter emotions in the air right now, and it could get ugly fast. Maybe even fast enough for a certain potato with an axe to grind with a particular saiyan warrior.
>>5354156You don’t know enough about him IC to honestly know.Because Karn is, quite literally, built different.>>5354162There are a lot of ways this could happen ultimately play out. And many of them aren’t good. Her wanting to get her title back could easily turn to trying to murder Tanya and anyone who stands in her way for humiliating her and taking her meaning away from her. Or she could spiral down, absolutely losing her confidence in herself and her abilities. There are many ways this can go poorly, both for Chaya and for everyone else.
Alright, new commission dropping before the epilogue tomorrow. Our girl’s struggling, but not giving up yet!
How about we just ship her off to boot camp?(Off to live with Towa and Future!Chaya, and enjoy being the weakest person around by a factor of at least 10-fold. Away from all distractions and entertainment, and her siblings and ashamed Future-self will kick her sorry arse into shape with 1000x gravity and nutritional science).

There’s a reason you can only spend a very limited time in another timeline. And that reason is short, pink, and annoying.>>5354425Bingo. -Saiyan Conqueror Quest 178 Epilogue-AGE 750, ANCIENT GEAR PLANET“DIE!!” you snarl, drawing your combat knife from behind your back with your left hand as you put the full weight of your charge behind the blade. This attack will decide it! But the moment before impact, suddenly a suit of Saiyan armor materializes out of thin air between you and the Saiyan. Before you can avert your course, you slam blade-first into the armor. Your magic-enhanced blade pierces through the material easily, but to your surprise the armor is softer than what it’s covering. As your blade pierces through it hits something even more durable, but you still sink the weapon in up to the guard.“Enough.” comes the deep, commanding voice of the armor’s owner, the giant of a man reaching down and grabbing both of your hands on the knife in his own. You look up in sudden panic, coming face-to-face with the most feared General of the PTO, the Dragon of New Salda and Chaya’s father Karn. He slowly pulls the blade free, but to your surprise he doesn’t seem angry you stabbed him at all. In fact he doesn’t seem angry his daughter just got her ass kicked either, despite his green haired form’s terrifying appearance he just seems to be disappointed. “This fight is over.”“CHAYA!! Don’t worry I’m gonna help you!” the younger girl cries out, dashing down to her sister as Karn slowly descends, dragging you along with him. For a couple moments you’d been worried that he would retaliate, knowing damn well a killer like him could sense your own killing intent. But he doesn’t even look at you, instead his disappointed gaze is fixed on his daughter’s bloody form.“Heal them both Cauli.” he orders, landing on the ground before letting you go. With your left hand you store the knife back in its sheath behind your back before landing unsteadily on your feet. “Tch-!” you exclaim as a shock runs throughout your body from the hole in your chest from just the soft impact from touching the ground. Your body’d gone into shock when she’d punched a hole in your chest, but the jolt from hitting the ground awakened it, and you can feel the agonizing pain. For a moment you black out, but then you hear the familiar chiming noise of Caulifla’s bell. And suddenly, clinging to consciousness you finally realize why her bell sounds familiar: it resonates at the same frequency as your own cursed computation gem, or absolutely radiating from that one mad dog on your own world: BEING X! You remember all the hell that so-called god put you through, and feel that smoldering rage within you ignite once more!
>>5354978“Being X!” you mutter under your breath, focusing on your hatred to keep yourself conscious. But then Caulifla quits muttering, finishing her incantation and unleashing a wave of divine magic. It pours into the fallen Chaya, into your own gaping chest wound and the organs damaged by her blows. But also to your surprise, as you feel yours and Chaya’s bodies readily absorbing the magic, you also sense something else. Karn’s body, or more specifically his energy, is slightly REPELLINGthe divine energy! The effect isn’t enough to stop the healing, in fact you think you’re the only one who even notices. But then her healing magic ends, you looking down to see that you’re actually fully healed as well. You no longer have a hole in your chest, and breathing deeply no longer hurts either. The big punch Chaya’d landed eariler had no doubt shattered your sternum, but thanks to the Type 101’s power you’d managed to fight through. Taking deep, filling breaths you then see one of Vox’s mic’d cameras flying over, no doubt to hear your words. After all, you did what was perceived to be impossible for a non-Saiyan: you dethroned the now-former Champion of Dreadzone. You close your eyes and take a final, deep breath, thinking over what you’ll say, then when you’re ready exhale, eyes focused on the camera. It’s showtime.“I did it.” you say, holding your arms spread low and wide. Similarly to how that tyrant Lord Freeza stands, a stance of power and dominance. “Bear witness: I, General Tanya Degurechaff, defeated the former champion Chaya!”"C'mon Cauli, let's leave her to her celebration. Let’s go home.” you hear Karn say from behind you, but you don’tlook back, instead focusing on your own declaration.“It is all thanks to you, my followers. My devotees. Your Faith in me is what allowed me to carry on, and-““Yeah, le-Wait!” Caulifla suddenly exclaims, blasting off away from you all. You turn around a bit confused, expecting an answer of some kind, but Karn’s full attention is all on his daughter. So you turn back to the camera and continue.“Ahem. Your faith in me, your belief that I would triumph carried me to victory today.” you say, trying to focus back on the speech you’d planned before the battle even started. Planned to maximize your following off of, and get even more believers. Because, as you learned from Being X itself, your new power taken from it isn’t fixed. Such power is reliant in others’ faith in it, explaining why Being X had so desperately wanted to convert you into a believer for all those years. But unlike Being X, you know how to make the plebians believe, and that is through the wonders of technology brought about by free market captalism, and a healthy helping of violent bloodshed as well. Nothing excites the people like an entertaining deathmatch.
>>5354980“Thanks to each and every one of you, your belief in me that I could triumph over even the mighty and unstoppable Chaya.” you continue, suppressing your own sadistic grin. You did it. “It was only through our combi-““She might want Chilli to fix this, when she wakes up.” Caulifla says, landing back down beside her father and sister once more. You again try ignoring them, focusing on reciting your lines as Karn talks.“Good thinking kiddo.” you say, reaching out with your right hand and ruffling her hair before returning it to your forehead. “Let's go home.”Then they’re gone, leaving just you and the camera. Finally, you can give your victory speech in peace.“It was only through our combined efforts that the mighty Champion Chaya, or should I say former Champion Chaya, was felled. Without each and every one of you supporting and encouraging me, I would not have had the resolve or the strength to push through, and come out of this clash of titans on top. My believers, your faith in me wasn’t misplaced. And as for those who didn’t believe, I hope that with my performance today, I have earned your faith. Together we’re going to keep reaching even higher, and with you all behind me I will never falter!”Finishing your speech you give the camera a sweeping bow, raising up just as the announcer pod for Dallas and Juanita to descend down within arm’s reach of you.“What an explosive ending to the most exciting season of Dreadzone yet!” he shouts into the mic, as loud and over-the-top as ever. “Tell us, how does it feel to be the new Champion of Dreadzone?”“It almost doesn’t feel real, y’know?” you reply as he holds down the microphone towards you. “I’ve been working towards this goal for years, and to finally be here is almost surreal.”“I’m sure it does.” Juanita, the much more intelligent machine answers sarcastically. “But what do you have to say to your critics, those who’re already calling foul on the fight or saying Chaya didn’t actually try her best?”“D-Didn’t try her best?” you reply, trying your best to appear shocked. As if this interview wasn’t mostly pre-scripted. “If she wasn’t trying her best, I’d hate to see what else she could do. That first punch she landed broke my sternum, and the second one...well...”You trail off, gestuing to the fist-sized hole in your uniform above your chest but below your right collar bone, then stepping and spinning slowly in a circle to show it pierced you all the way through before continuing your talk.
>>5354980“If I hadn’t dodged aside at the last moment, that would have been my heart instead.” you tell her seriously. You’d underestimated her at the end, thinking she had no more explosive power left. But that final charge had caught you completely by surprise. If you hadn’t reflexively tried to dodge aside, she would have actually killed you then and there. “We both tried our best, but in the end I was the better strategist and fighter.”“I see.” Juanita says, playing into her role as the sarcastic, intelligent one as Dallas continues.“So, General Tanya. Or, should I say, our new Champion Tanya!” the alien contunues, you biting down on the insides of your cheeks to keep yourself from showing a self-satisfied smile at his correction. “Now that you’ve climbed to the top of the Dreadzone latter, what’s next for you?”“Umm, well, I wasn’t entirely certain I’d ever get here, to tell you the truth.” you answer with fake modesty. “Chaya was such a powerful opponent, even with everyone’s love and support backing me up, I wasn’t sure I would be the one to come out on top. I spent so much time planning how to fight her that I never thought about what to do next.”https://youtube.com/watch?v=d8Z3JvAb6LA“That said, I’m not slowing down now. This was only the beginning!” you say, letting the smile you’d been suppressing break out on your face. “With all of your support, we will continue to grow and expand! I To deliver even bigger and grander shows the likes of which have never been seen before! I will continue to fight for each and every one of you, my believers, and together we shall form a force that cannot be stopped! The very heavens themselves will tremble in fear of our unified might, cowering away thinking themselves safe! Together we will cast down the arrogant asses who call themselves gods, and put those bastards permanently out of work!”-MOMENTS AGO, ELSEWHERE-“N-No way. She actually did it.” the rather rotund man says, slumping back down into his computer chair with a sigh. “She actually beat Chaya. I guess flat IS justice after all.”He watches intensely as one camera focuses in on Chaya’s battered, bloody and burned form, laying on the ground and barely breathing. With a malicious snicker the man starts snapping screenshots of the livestream, immediately opening new threads on Spacechan. One with the exposed nip on the porn board, captioned, “In honor of today’s deserved beating, post your best ryona.” In the Dreadzone-dedicated board /dz/ he opens another new thread with a second screengrab, not the same one, with the simple title, “Deserved.”And then he waits, ready to harvest the storm of internet hate swiftly brewing from his provocations. This will be fun.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 178 Epilogue End-
>>5354985Man. This fucking guy.
>>5355012He does clearly enjoy a bit of trolling.
>>5354978>Your magic-enhanced blade pierces through the material easily, but to your surprise the armor is softer than what it’s covering."Yeah, I only wear this shit because for some reason people don't like it when I fight with my dick visible. Probably because I always seem to fight BETTER while hanging free..."
>>5354985>And then he waits, ready to harvest the storm of internet hate swiftly brewing from his provocations. This will be fun.I just really, really, desperately need to remove this guy's teeth with a pair of pliers. It has evolved beyond a desire. It is a need. Like food.
>>5355054Karn is built like a damn fortress. But that shows something very, VERY important:Her magic is divine. Karn’s power slightly resists divine power like this, yet her weapon cut right through him.>>5355101Remnants won’t end without at least someone confronting him. May not be Karn, but someone
>>5355118Has Karn ever Darth Vader force choked someone? How is bane doing? Is Tanya aware of zenkai? How are You doing man?Getting a new job soon so may actually get to start participating more in your quest!
>>5354985>And then he waits, ready to harvest the storm of internet hate swiftly brewing from his provocations. This will be fun.Goddamn /b/trolls never change.
>>5355307Not only is he a /b/astard he's also a fa/g/. Yeesh.
>>5355265Not particularlySchemingVery. She was on the front lines during the Hive War.Can’t complain, except for the price of everything going up so much here. Cuts into my art comm budget.Hell yeah, get that money>>5355307>>5355331Very much so.
Almost time, 24 hours until the next episode begins!
>>5355853GD, quick question. How advantageous would a healing factor be to a Saiyan? Not something like Kars' functional immortality and near-instant regeneration, but enough to survive anything that doesn't kill them outright and be completely fine within a few hours.
>>5355927Would drastically, DRASTICALLY lower their ability to have Zenkai, but would otherwise be largely ineffective from the time they join the PTO forward. Think about it. A fist-sized hole through the guts is lethal without aid of some sort, and healing from that life-threatening injury grants the warrior tremendous power. See Vegeta’s Krillin-given Zenkai in the Freeza saga. But if such an injury isn’t even life-threatening anymore, as their body just recovers naturally, then the Zenkai wouldn’t even activate. And it wouldn’t affect survivability that much either, because damage is still incapacitating and would leave one wide open for a finishing blow once they go down. Another downside of regeneration is it consumes a LOT of energy. And with Saiyans already having such high energy costs just in their day to day lives, having something like that would make their metabolism even more voracious.
>>5355998For some reason this reminded me of that one insane theory that Saiyans are genetically modified warriors created by the TUFFLES of all things, and now I have the thought of a very disappointed Tuffle scientist when all of his regenerating monkeys dont get zenkais like the other Saiyan subjects.
>>5355998This is why I say Immortality wouldn't work well with Zenkais.
>>5356292An immortal saiyan would be a pain in the ass though.Yeah you're a billion times stronger than him but can't kill him so you lock him in a super katchin-rock-cumsock prison or something then in five years of screaming he unlocks the super saiyan stone+ transformation and eats the prison or something. Because reasons.Immortal saiyans are way worse than infinite zenkai saiyans.
>>5356283Ha, that’s kinda funny.>>5356292Zenkais literally would not function for them.>>5356310Yes, but it’s a matter of scale. One immortal Saiyan is bad. But a planet of Saiyans who keep growing stronger becomes a vastly more dangerous problem the longer they’re left alive
>>5356318An immortal anything is always the bigger problem. They can still train to get stronger because as is very clear from canon there really aren't any actual upper limits to an individual's strength. After 1000 years of clenching his asshole really tight and thinking happy thoughts he's Toppo but invulnerable. Scale goes out the window when you eventually reach the level where you can just delete galaxies with big dumb beams.
>>5356292Depends on the type of inmortality, really, and how it works. Is the body literally immune to all harm like aging and injury, the body continues to live in spite of damage done to it, or are any life threatening conditions reversed through the immortality? If a Saiyan could never get hurt, EVER, then the zenkai bullshit never activates. Same thing goes for if they never pass on, but could still be hurt as the Zenkai requires RECOVERING from life threatening injuries, just make sure they always have a hole in their chest. Its only trouble when a Saiyan gets Kars' brand of inmortality regenerating bullshit, as the Zenkais come quickly and repeatedly.
>>5356318Right, or at least the Z version of Zenkais and not the Super version where it is just Pure Progress but racial in addition. Still feel like immortality will impact it negatively. How can you grow from adversity if immortality itself circumvents it?
>>5356283I'm of the mind that they were intended by the Kais to spread across the universe and cross-breed with everybody to shore up Universe 7's mortal level.
>>5354156We need to teach Raditz to be Chaya's Meloka. The voice behind her saying don't do the dumb thing. But instead of being hyper lethal, we give him hulk training to be able to drag her away until she trains so hard nobody could stop her.
>>5354293....she looks like Prince Zuko
>>5354689He did a good job for a first piece.
Guys. I got an idea.Cook-off, Karn vs Chronoa.Judges would be Whis, Beerus, and Cooler.
>>5354985I'm gonna enjoy feeding him to the Dark
>>5356420I just wanna hit him DDF and be done with it.Much as I might want to see him squirm, I want him GONE even more.
>>5356425Do we know enough of what he's done to BOI him?
>>5356432I'm fairly certain we're gonna find out soon enough. That or he actually manages to do the unthinkable and kill one of our kids.At that point we're just gonna wish for his fatass to be right in front of us.
>>5356410Beerus and Whis know better than to eat Pink bitches cooking, and we would leave Cooler to die of food poisoning.
>>5356410>CoolerWe make our dish shittier than Chronoa's on purpose.>>5356420iirc GDQM said that this disgusting cave troll straight from /r9k/ Is a Zoldyck and pretty much immune to any form of torture. We can't touch him either, as that would reopen the bad blood between us and the Zoldycks, and I'm not willing to put our children in danger now that we have them. There isn't an easy answer to this one.
>>5356443>We make our dish shittier than Chronoa's on purpose.Literally impossible unless we simply shit on a plate.>We can't touch him either, as that would reopen the bad blood between us and the ZoldycksWe can ABSOLUTELY get him and his dipshit brother if we provide undisputable proof that they're behind all these attacks. At that point, the Sylva has to choose between his progeny or his clan's existence, and there won't be a goddamn thing he can do about it..
>>5356443>We make our dish shittier than Chronoa's on purpose.>Whis and Beerus get mindslayer fillets cooked and seasoned to afternoon barbecue perfection>cooler gets a pile of black sludge formerly known as unblended-unnuked psychic fish
>>5356329As Karn and Future Chaya have both proven on separate occasions, immortality does NOT equal un removable. DDF, Godsend, Chilli’s Death magic Dust to Dust and who knows how many other methods exist for ending an immortal’s existence. Then there’s the Mafuba, a technique capable of sealing even GODS away. Vegeta was shown to be powerful enough to destroy entire dimensions, yet even his power at SSB was not enough to break free. One threat can always be removed.>>5356331Three vastly different types. But your description misses an exceptionally important point: if the body itself can easily recover from the injury without outside assistance, it was NOT life-threatening. Cell is a perfect example of this. Getting half his chest blown off by Vegeta, or most of his upper body erased by Goku did not trigger a zenkai, as he wasn’t in danger. But when he blew himself up, he was reduced down to a single cell. Cell literally could not take ANY more damage without dying, and that’s why he got a zenkai then.>>5356350Bingo. Although that interview became out of date with Super’s change to the power scale.>>5356366Not necessarily. The Kais simply create life, and most are content to let it run its own course like Shin, and a seemingly more competent Kai Gowasu. But Kars would have a markedly different approach.>>5356380That was Broly’s role, when they were younger. But he hated all the attention and cameras everywhere of Dreadzone when he was there with her, and gradually distanced himself.>>5356388Who?>>5356397I’m interested to see what else he’s got.>>5356410Beerus and Whis would politely decline the invitation.>>5356420If you ever realize he exists.>>5356425True enough. Would be a bad example to do the EXACT SAME THING you criticized Chaya for.>>5356432>>5356433You know about the Hive War security incident, but have no idea who or what did it.>>5356443>spoilerIndeed.>>5356447>proofGood luck. Even Arctus can’t find anything definitive about this hacker aside from their custom gold-plates avatar. Because they’re still making moves. Illumi especially, as he’s the sneakier of the two. Arctus is going to have a meeting with Silva very soon regarding a recent cyber strike on the Banking Clan. But that’s only after Kazuma finally meets King Cold.>>5356457Why would you dunk on Cooler instead of going for the easy 3-0 winning dunk on Chronoa?
>>5356544Sure, there are ways to get around immortal beings. The problem is that the number of ways to do so is actually super limited. So much so that they are the exception that proves the rule. And half of them are reliant on you being stronger than the immortal. Or the immortal being really fucking stupid or careless. Which, yeah, immortal so probably do get complacent. Still the point stands. There may be one or two things in an entire reality which can reliably deal with an immortal. Not counting cheats from external forces. So good luck with that.>Why would you dunk on Cooler instead of going for the easy 3-0 winning dunk on Chronoa?Because intentionally flubbing and still winning is even better. Because fuck Cooler, that's why.
