In your old life, you died at age 30.
You never reconnected with your family after the divorce, you died in debt, and you never confessed to your crush in High school.

When you died, you woke back up in 2007. Your body is 15, but with the knowledge of future events, you…

Confessed to your crush, Madison, and had a meaningful relationship for a few years.

In 2007, stopped a school shooter from shooting up Virginia Tech, causing the people into supporting the police and hating asians. Due to the racism concerns, Obama exploited it to become president.

In 2009, that backstabber Joshua that caused took Emily to prom instead of you and Jacob that made you felt like a third wheel to him and Emily were expelled and put into juvie.

Became a millionaire after investing in Apple stocks and bitcoin.

Prevented a divorce between your parents, which also prevented your younger sister, Olivia, from becoming addicted to drugs.

Became a close friend with June, the secretary that your dad had an affair with.

Gaslit your mother to the point of suicide to prevent her from founding out the affair. You managed to stop her wrist cutting and sent her to therapy.

In 2011, with the help of June, became a landlord and lived separately from your parents. You also hired June as your secretary. In that same year, you confessed your feelings to her. While she doesn’t want a romantic relationship, she considers being friends with benefits.

After witnessing a group of assholes that tried to pick up women get beaten to death, you decide to train in unarmed combat and hire bodyguards.

Your story continues.

After witnessing a curbstomp, you decide to train in boxing, grappling, various forms of martial arts and decide to hire a bodyguard whenever you need to observe tenants.

Being more physically fit also made you able to keep up with June whenever you hung out.

She’s surprisingly tough. Never flinched when she saw a head be stomped, but able to understand your feelings than your family or your former girlfriend Madison.

Bruises. Cuts. Blood. Pain. Soreness.

You’ve endured worse. Momentary suffering is infinitely better than living a meaningless life.

While you are unable to get particularly defined abs, you are able to lift heavier objects, fight better and keep yourself healthy.

One day in 2011, Michael calls you.

He’s the class clown you became close to before leaving high school. In your previous life, he overdosed in college. Glad to see he’s still around.

You two talk for a while about life after high school, the loneliness, the hardship, the lost friends and the new experiences you’ve been through.

It’s been a while, but his words remain coarse, and comforting in a way.

…you good, man?

Yeah. Just wanted to talk. That’s all.

After talking to Michael, you think about what truly made you happy during these past few years.

Money? Olivia? June? Your colleagues? Family? The ability to change fate?
You’re not sure.
You decide to…

>>Check on your old workplace friends
You worked at Mcdonalds for a couple of years before bitcoin’s value shot up.
You messed around and had a good time with those guys, and it would be nice to know what they’re doing nowadays.

>>Research and prepare to change important events in 2011 and beyond
Let’s see how far you can push fate. You’ve pushed it before to save lives and stop anti gunners from going full retarded, and you’re not gonna stop now. Not when people and their rights are at stake.

>>Invest in other businesses
While you have millions, unexpected expenses or events can still ruin your life. Better to diversify and have more options.
Besides, it’s much easier to be happy when you’re rich.

>>Support Olivia’s dream
Your sister is the only person that really matters to you. Whatever she wants to be, you’ll do your best to support it financially, assuming it’s plausible. You want her to be successful and leave the family behind. Even with therapy, her mother was never quite the same after her attempted suicide. Your dad is a fucking asshole that cheated on her.

>>Experience the world with June
You have a lot of money, and someone you love by your side. Even if the relationship is mainly physical, you want to experience new things with her. You never had the chance to travel in your past life, anyway.

Not sure if June wants to do that.
Right now its just a FWB relationship.

She doesn’t want a romantic relationship or family as it could interfere with work.

That being said, if she gets a different job, she’ll probably consider adoption

(That way, she won’t be too tired by the pregnancy to have sex)

Maybe…?

We were 'saving the marriage' by keeping the affair under wraps and gaslighting her every time she got close to discovering it.

In addition, rather than focusing on our girlfriend and female friend our own age, we voted to try to seduce June.

Not complaining, mind. This took some weird but interesting turns, and an age-gap relationship with a sexy secretary from the wrong side of the tracks is neat.

With the help of June and financial advisors, you invest in restaurants and other properties. While individually it does not bring in as much profit as playing the stocks or being a landlord, it’s relatively low risk.

As for Olivia, she wants to pursue a career in accounting. She’s good with math, so it seems like a pretty decent path for her.

You want to have children, but June doesn’t really care for that.

This isn’t something you can talk her out of, it is not guilt or anxiety - she simply doesn’t want any children, assuming if they’re romantically involved.

Both you and June enjoyed each other’s company, but hopes for a marriage is slim. You have a goal that is incompatible with hers.

After breaking off the friends with benefits relationship with June, citing that you wanted romantic relationships and family, your interactions became a bit colder.

She’s still a reliable secretary and a friend you could talk to, but you can tell that she still clearly misses that aspect of the relationship.

While looking for someone else to date, you think about possibly changing the world for the better.

Maybe you can, but should you?
Even with just the Virginia Tech shooting stopped, you saw how drastically the country’s attitudes changed.

Are the lives of the people you’ve saved in that shooting really worth the endless amount of people being abused by the police due to the demonization of asians and glorification of cops?

You don’t know. You don’t want to be a judge that dictates who or what will control the world.

Regrettably, you did nothing as the Sandy Hook school shooting occurred at the end of 2012.

Those fudds, gun grabbers and leftists were just as annoying as you remembered them to be. You always hated them and the media ever since they intentionally painted Kyle Rittenhouse as a ruthless killer.

At least you managed to buy a few rifles before that happened. Shame you’re 20 otherwise you would’ve bought pistols.

It is 2013.
You are finally 21.
Your businesses and stocks are earning pretty good money, and your original millions from bitcoin and apple stock are still largely intact.

Olivia got into a pretty decent college.
She’s a lot better mentally now, having a few close friends and occasionally going to parties.

You’ve taught her about many things.
What situations to get out of, how to deal with potential threats, de escalation, using weapons, what methods birth control works (and what doesn’t), consent, and behaviors to be aware of.

Your parents still remain together, but they don’t really talk much. At least they didn’t get into drugs or alcohol.

Your love life is not going that well unfortunately.

While you have a few successful dates, especially with women who are slightly older than you, the relationships tend to stagnate and end in a couple of months.

Fuck. Breakups suck.

It took quite a few weeks before you stopped re reading messages sent before things went wrong.

Perhaps it’s best if you take some time off and come back with a new perspective and all that.

You decide to..

>>Go to a shooting range
Might as well practice using your rifle. Maybe even find someone besides June who is also interested in guns.

>>Go to a movie theater
Pacific Rim was a pretty decent movie.
You want to relive watching that again.

>>Go to a nightclub
You’re not getting any younger.

>>Go to a coffee shop

Going on a cruise might just be the vacation you needed.

Not even a year ago, Costa Concordia was destroyed due to negligence. Recently, the Carnival’s Triumph was also flooded with waste.

With the bad publicity they have been getting, fewer people are willing to be on board again, allowing you and June to have an easier time buying tickets.

By the end of 2013, the cruise industry in Virginia will fade away, so it’s probably best if you and June experience this before it’s too late.

It could be a nice experience you’ll be able to look back to. (It’s also a good excuse to see June in summer outfits)

You and June decide to take a six day trip to visit Bermuda.

You were promised views of a tropical land with bright turquoise waters, a soothing warm climate and incredible historical sites.

Technically, that’s true. Unfortunately, the vessel that carries you to that is filled with retards.

Retarded kids and their retarded parents always causing a mess and a noise disturbance every goddamn time you wanted to sit back and watch the seas.

Of course their spawn would piss in the sink. Of course they would shit themselves while walking to the bathrooms. Of course their vomit would be on carpets.

Even the restaurants are unable to be your refuge as packs of 40 and 50 year olds constantly clog the buffet lines and tables. Ugh. Then again, when they’re this close to dying, being on a trip that doesn’t require much movement does make sense.

While the Corona is still nearly a decade away, you take considerable care in washing your hands and using copious amounts of alcohol gel. You won’t allow some soon to be corpses to cause you to stay in your room all day.

No one will ruin your trip with June.

You and June manage to at least find solace in the swimming pools and the many installations related to it.

You know that it’s not the most sanitary of places, nor the most silent, but June is quite eager to try out the slides with you.

You indulge her, forming huge waves in the water alongside June.

It has been a while since you’ve heard her scream or laugh, so maybe it isn’t all that bad. Her sleek black shirt and shorts were also appealing.

Her thighs look as great as ever.

(Cont.)

After washing off, you and June visited stores and markets to look for some souvenirs.

You got a miniature ship and a few magnets for the fridge while June got a few bags.

Over the next three days on sea, you two cycled through facilities the ship could offer.

Some, like the Sushi bar weren’t that good, while the cafes were unexpectedly good in both price and convenience.

Heh. You’re still at a coffee ship, even at sea.

Trying out their desserts with June was a nice change of pace compared to hours of swimming and watching performances.

Seeing June jolt back from the throat burning fizz of fruit sodas you ordered made you chuckle a little.

She got you back with her obnoxiously sweet chocolate cakes, though. Arugh. Chocolate isn’t supposed to be that sweet!

Eventually you made it to Bermuda - a small tropical island with some interesting history behind it.

Once off the ship, You and June had a lot fun together.

Exploring the town together reminds you of your high school years, when your friends would go around malls to find some food or buy something while talking about their days.

The meals were nice.
Their lobsters were a cut above what you had back at home.

You are back at the hotel once again, drinking some alcoholic soda alongside June while watching a pirated copy of Pacific Rim on your phone.

While the cocktails of the island was good, it was overpriced. Good thing you and June smuggled several bottles worth of alcoholic soda which were disguised as lemonade or tea. It’s what kept you sane while on that ship.

Normally, you and June maintain some distance, but the small screen makes your bodies to be inches away from each other.

Your hands are next to hers, but neither of you try to move closer or away.

After hours of watching movies, you and June watch videos and photos that were taken today.

You decide to…

>>[shift your hand away from hers] ”Today was pretty cool.”
She’s a good friend and a reliable ally.
Even if your goals are incompatible, you hold a great deal of respect towards her.

>>[hug June] “I really miss you.”
I’m sorry about what I’ve said.

You wake up on June’s bed rather than your own. She’s still sleeping.

You really should’ve chose a single large bed rather two small ones.

The blankets and pillows cover the floor.
Ugh. You’ll pick those up later.

It’s… about 8am now.
You tap her shoulder to wake her up, but she really doesn’t want to leave the bed right now.

You leave the bed to take a shower and get dressed.

By the time you’re finished, she is watching videos on her phone while on the bed, being completely naked. She says she’ll get dressed soon.

You take this time to pick up the stuff on the floor and reorganize it.

There’s still one more day you could stay on at this island.

The late morning is spent at the hotel, eating mediocre breakfast that are barely warm.

The rest of the day is spent visiting shops and doing one last sightseeing trip around the island.

Seeing the rows of colorful dishes and bottles of the glass blowing studios was quite interesting. It’s amazing of what patterns and shape could be done with a relatively small workshop.

You and June returned to the hotel a little earlier than usual to spend time together.

After a lovely night, you and June have to leave this paradise behind.

You cannot keep running away from reality.
But maybe, you’ll be mentally prepared for it now.

You and June return to your daily lives once more. The monotony and the annoyances of the jobs still remain, but at least you two are have something to look forward to.

Whenever you are together, the stresses of having to deal with the bullshit of those tenants and agencies take a backseat.

It is 2014. You are 22.
You’ve spent some more time dating and found another girl that you managed to connect with - Julia.

She’s two years older than you, working as a moderately successful restaurant’s cook. Julia is a lot more lethargic than June, preferring to stay in coffee shops for hours at a time to read books or listen to music rather than exploring the mall like June.

She has a constant tiredness to her voice, but you don’t really mind it. You prefer deeper voices anyway.

Her eyes have plenty of grey and black tints under them, a clear sign of the many years of sleep deprivation from her job.

For the dates, she most wears hoodies and loose fitting jogging pants… or maybe pajamas. You aren’t sure. Her white sneakers are quite dusty.

You two got along pretty well due to bonding over stories of shitty employees and tenants. You don’t see each other often, but the few times that does happen, you feel like you could talk for hours.

The relationship has lasted a few months and there doesn’t seem to be any ill will.
It’s a lot better than your previous dates.

Huh. Maybe taking a step back before approaching a problem again is the right thing to do, after all.

From the stories she told, you can get a general feel for her worldview.

She views the world through a spiteful, paranoid lens that makes her carefully think about every word she says at work, always having dancing around the egotistical managers and inbred co workers that could easily disrupt her career.

Goddamn retards and their feelings.

One day, while hanging out at a coffee shop, her tone is a lot more angry than usual.
She apologizes for it, but occasionally reverts back to the harsh voice.
Julia says it’s just work related stuff. Nothing to worry about.

>>Push her about the matter. Ask her about anything you could do.
Maybe you could help?

>>Take a break from the conversation and get a slice of cake and some drinks
Let’s take our mind off this for now.

After today’s date, you began to break off the relationship. You let her down gently by saying that you would rather focus on your career and that you’re not really wanting something serious just yet.

"I understand."
Her tone barely changes, even when you decide to break up with her. You’ll miss that deep, tired voice.

Julia is pretty nice, but you don’t see a path in the long run that doesn’t end in misery for both of you.

To soothe this pain of breaking up, you spend the night with June. Snuggling with her afterwards is just as lovely as always.

Sarah was one of your colleagues at McDonalds a few years back. While you two weren’t on the same shift, you know that she was a high schooler. It’s likely that he only started dating her after June left, which was a few years ago.

>>5432007
Cheating on your wife with a college girl is sleazy but it's not castration/sterilization level of offense
>>
>>5432007
I guess it depends on if we consider adultery to be a grave enough sin to justify sterilization or castration. Also, didn't we kind of, by habing June as a side-piece while dating our high school sweetheart and then Julia?
>>
>>5432013
Probably not, but our main protagonist has issues when it comes to respecting people.

Castrating/sterilizing someone for adultery is an emotional action. The rational choice is to ignore him and move on with our life

No point in taking revenge on your dad for having another affair.

You can’t bother to care anymore.

Olivia is probably old enough that she’ll be alright if divorce happens.

You set your sights on Sarah.
It’s been a while since you two talked, so you decide to do a little research.

There’s nothing wrong with going through her social media accounts, after all.

Sarah barely posts anything on social media. Outside of happy birthday posts, there’s basically nothing. She doesn’t share anything, doesn’t like anything, doesn’t even post photos of vacation or food.

Shit, she’s good.

After nearly an hour of researching her friends and family, you are able to extract some decent info about her.

Sarah comes from a relatively well to do family, but the recession hit them hard.
Her mom either died or got divorced as she doesn’t really appear in family photos anymore.

She’s quite fond of slightly sweet and bitter things, with green tea ice cream and tiramisu cake being her favorite desserts.

Armed with knowledge, you decide to text her, asking her about how she’s doing nowadays.

She talks briefly about college and financial issues, but doesn’t elaborate much. After talking for a while before you decide to ask her about going to a cafe together.

You can see her type for nearly a minute before sending

“Sorry”
“Im not ready for relationships right now”

>>Sure. How about a reunion instead?
You first met your colleagues in 2007.
It’s been seven years since then.
How about a friendly reunion, hanging out at a shopping mall.

>>Press her about her relationship and your dad’s
You know a lot. Maybe you could push her to reveal about how they managed to get into this relationship - and possibly offer help.

>>Suggest that she cut ties with your dad
Don’t worry about him, Sarah.
I can support you.
My dad is a fucking asshole that will abandon you without hesitation the second he sees another girl. Before you, June was someone he cheated with.

>>Give up and focus on getting money instead

Since inviting her to a coffee shop didn’t work, you decide to talk about a reunion instead. It’s a good chance to see what everyone else is doing.

She’s unsure of how many people will even show up, but contacts the friends on her shift anyways. You end up doing the same.

After a few days, you manage to agree on the time and location - a mall nearby your high school.

Only four were able to make it.

Jake, a close friend of yours.
He worked in the drive thru station, and was the one responsible for certain cars being splashed with ice cream. Fun times.

Lily, a reliable colleague.
She works full time a few years before you, and was on the same shift as Sarah. Unlike others, she doesn’t really mess around at work, preferring to read stuff on her phone rather than smoke weed in the freezer like the rest of the crew.

Nathan, a.. curious mentor.
He is an employee trainer that helped you deal with customers and operate the stations more efficiently. While he doesn’t really display it at work, he has quite the opinion on minorities. Shit talking (((them))) was one way of relieving stress during those years. Always fun to talk to.

And finally, Sarah.
While you barely know her, Nathan mention that she’s good at operating the stations but alright at talking to customers. He has to intervene a few times when ‘the niggers went apeshit on her because she couldn’t hear them the first time they ordered’

You all decide to meet up at 11:00, but you and Jake shows up at the mall 30 minutes early, mostly to catch up and look at the mall again.

Aside from his hair being slightly longer, Jake hasn’t really changed much, with him still wearing thin sport shirt and shorts.

15 minutes before 11 is when Lily and Sarah shows up. Lily wears a black dress with calf length skirt, while Sarah wears a sweater and jeans.

Nathan shows up 2 minutes early, wearing a grey zip up hoodie and black pants.

The group decides to walk around the mall, exploring the newly installed restaurants and seeing which ones still remained.

For lunch, they settle on a Japanese buffet.
While the sushi seemed too dodgy for you, the cooked fishes are pretty decent.

According to Nathan, the salmon sashimi sucks anyway.

'It’s basically grinding your tongue against shaved ice.'

Slices of beef and pork were passable.
A little too chewy, but considering the price, edible is good enough.

What’s really impressed you are the soups and omelets.

Despite everything being so mediocre, this restaurant manage to churn out fluffy omelets with a subtle touch of sweetness.

The claw soups are pretty incredible as well, having a surprisingly large amount of dense meat in them, alongside a decently salty soup.

(Cont.)
>>
>>5434442
After the meal, the group wanders around the mall, going to arcades and exploring new stores.

While visiting the bookstore, you quietly inform Sarah about your dad. By talking about other mistress he had (although you don’t mention the specifics), and the lack of money he has, you hope to convince her to break off the relationship.

Because she doesn’t want a relationship right now, you merely suggest about giving her financial aid as a friend.

She’s quite taken back by all of this, and is unsure about what to do. She says she might consider it, but for now, she needs some time to think about it.

It’s been several hours now.
The group is hanging out at a coffee shop, talking about their lives and what they’re up to.

Jake recently graduated and works as an IT guy. It’s pretty chill at times, and there’s plenty of office shenanigans.

Lily and Sarah works as accountants. Apparently they work mostly at night.

Nathan is working in a bar.
You don’t push any further about what he does.

After a while, you and Nathan leave the coffee shop to go to the bathroom nearby.

You notice someone sitting on a bench next to trashcans. He’s drinking soup out of some plastic cup. From his large backpack, and multiple pieces of clothing on him, he’s likely homeless. There’s a few small patches of facial hair on his mouth and chin.

Both you and this homeless guy stare at each other briefly.

His jaw looks familiar to you.

No.
Nah.
Is that.. Joshua?
You put him into juvie nearly a decade ago for selling weapons and phones at school.
His life must’ve gone through the shitter.

Nathan notices you staring at him for a while and taps on your shoulder.

You follow Nathan and head to the bathroom. When you look back, you can still see the homeless guy still staring at you.

While washing your hands, you notice that the homeless guy is walking towards the bathroom.

You decide to say…

>>”Nathan, we gotta get the fuck out of here.”
This guy knows me. He’s dangerous. Let’s run.

>>”Nat. That guy might try to stab us. Be ready.”
Hide your knife inside your sleeve and wait in the bathroom. Nathan also carries a few knives.

>>”That homeless guy. I gotta talk to him. Back me up, yeah?”
You might be able to talk your way out, assuming if Joshua is coming for your throat. Maybe it’s nothing after all.

You and Nathan walk out of bathroom, greeting the homeless guy that could be Joshua.

He says he doesn’t want any trouble, he just didn’t realize that there’s a bathroom outside of the mall. There might be toilet paper he could stock up on.

Hmm..
You give him a small pack of wet wipes and ask whether he’s new around here.

He says he used to go to a high school around here, but he had to relocate.
Then the recession hits and everything went to shit.

So he really is Joshua.
You tell him about a dispenser near the back of the mall, which might have some coins in it’s tray, before heading back to the coffee shop.

Nathan doesn’t ask about him.

The new hour or so is spent hanging out at the coffee shop, trying out shaved ice and cakes while sharing their work stories.
The group goes shopping afterwards.

Lily was the first to leave, followed by Jake.
Understandable, considering it’s nearly evening.

You privately talk to Sarah while Nathan is going to the toilet. You actually reveal what your real job is, and talk about how you wanted to help - you don’t want another affair, and what it could do to your mom or sister.

It started out as phone sex, but once she realized that your dad works at the company same his father at, but in a higher ranking position, she worked out a deal - keep her dad employed and she’ll do discounted calls.

Your dad didn’t budge and kept demanding
more, eventually turning into a physical relationship.

Now, she’s stuck in a loop. If she stops, the company might remove him without your dad’s intervention. While she has stable income now, her dad won’t be able to find another job easily.

(Cont.)
>>
>>5435586
According to his workplace friends, her dad is quite the asshole, always berating people when they don’t understand him or not do what he wanted them to do perfectly.
At home, he’s quite insistent on doing everything ‘his way’ as well.

The last time he got fired, he was terrifying, always yelling at people at the slightest provocation and threatening to fight people at public places.

While she certainly doesn’t want him in her life, she doesn’t think that he should have his head caved in by someone he pissed off at the supermarket. Best way to stop that from happening is to make sure he stays on this company.

Ugh.
What a fucking mess.

You decide to…

>>Make Sarah ignore her dad
Slowly, you will break her down and maker her see what you see. She will yield and understand that some people aren’t worth saving

>>Get Sarah away from her dad
Get new phones, new emails, a new house or apartment room maybe, anything to cut him off from her life. If he does something retarded again, at least she won’t get hurt

You decide to intervene directly.
You can’t let someone like him hurt others or be hurt.

While finding a meaningless job for him wasn’t hard, making sure he falls for it.
Janitor duty is beneath him apparently,
and he really doesn’t like moving. Dammit.

Near the end of 2014, you and June manage to convince Sarah’s dad to become an advertisement planner for your ‘stock trading classes’. He’ll be stuck at home, working on projects that never see the light of day, for some non existent class while you shower him with praises.

It’s a fitting way for him to remain safe - trapped in his own delusion.

Sarah got new emails, phone numbers, and an apartment room. Her dad actually likes her leaving the house, but is still worried about contacting her.

It is for this reason that her new phone numbers and emails are hidden from him, with the excuses of ‘additional workload from the company’ and ‘business travels’ are given on why his calls and texts are rarely answered.

Working more closely with Sarah does prove the validity of a few of Nathan’s words.

Her insistence on apologizing, the unwillingness to ask for help or ask questions, displays of stress when given simple decision making powers like choosing restaurants..

The fear of disappointing her parents and failure are deeply ingrained in her.

At least this doesn’t affect her current career much - she’s respected by the company as an accountant and willing to critique others when they fail.

While you and Sarah became closer as friends, the romantic side of things are progressing at a glacial pace - she is still undecided on this whole relationship thing.

During the early months of 2015, you get a call from Olivia, asking about the pirated websites not having shows and movies she wanted to watch. That’s weird.

She sends you a screenshot of her laptop as proof of it.

Huh.
Guess some of those websites haven’t gotten that popular yet.
Alright.

You tell her about a few more sites to use and what to not use.

While looking through the screenshot, among the countless websites she has opened, are a couple of 4chan threads.

/Adv/ board, in particular.

‘Ask opposite ge…’
‘Do men like…’
‘Anxiety about da..’

You don’t remember her dating in highschool, nor does she mention any boyfriends to you during your calls.

You decide to..

>>Ignore it.
Nah. That’s her personal life. Maybe she’s a late bloomer like you. Let’s not push her too far. You’ve taught her a lot about life before she went to college. She won’t do something stupid.

You decide to tease her a little.

You send two pictures to her, the first being a cropped version of her screenshot which shows the 4chan threads, and the second is a picture of moonman taking his glasses off.

She sends a gif of Walter White showing his middle finger at the camera in response.

"But seriously, if you need advice about dating and shit, we can talk."

'You have a gf?'

"Yeah."

Olivia sends a gif of Walter White falling to the ground.

It seems she’s taking this pretty well.
If she was serious, she would be typing a lot more.

In the following months, you two would talk more about relationships. Sometimes, she would ask about dating, and you would share a few stories.

Even after being rejected by someone she liked, Olivia took it pretty well, gotten over it in a week or so.

That’s good.

In your old life, you’ve wasted a lot of time and money trying to get into relationships without much guidance. It didn’t help that you were estranged from your friends and unsuccessful in job hunting.

Fuck knows how many days you lived through when masturbation was one of the few things that made you (temporarily) happy.

Speaking of relationships, Sarah seems to be a bit more open to dating now that her father isn’t at the center of her life any more.
You and her watched movies together (at movie theaters) and explored places around town at night.

Around 3am is when you and Sarah decide to call it quits and part ways, with you accompanying her to the apartment before leaving.

The soothing silence of the mostly asleep city and the cold breeze that blows against your hoodie reminds you of your middle school self.

You began thinking while sitting on a bench, still holding a half empty cup of soda you got from the movie theater.

Going camping with your parents, watching the night sky and animals, failing horribly at opening canned food.

….was it even real?

Did your dad have a mistress from the start?
Did your parents even love each other or did they merely stayed for their children?

“Hey dude.”
While deep in thought, Nathan greets you.
Must’ve gotten off work recently based on his shirt being crumbled and unbuttoned.

You talk for a bit about random stuff.
Nathan seems like he wanted to say something else, but remains silent.

Eventually, he asks about the homeless guy they met earlier. He tells you that he was some juvie that got into fights a few years ago. Recently got out.

He knows that you mean well, but this sort of person is pretty dangerous to be around. No one knows when this guy gonna go schizo and start doing dumb shit.

You thank him but assures that you’ll stay safe when dealing with the homeless guy.

“One more thing.”
“You and Sarah are..”
“Uhh…”
“Careful around her dad, alright?”
“He’s…”
“He’s one of those.. ‘wants to scare off boyfriend’ type of dads.”
“Deny everything, alright?”

You respond with..

“About five or four years ago, Sarah dated a guy in high school. Had decent grades. Swims a lot. Really polite. Barely swears. He was a close friend of mine.”

“Sarah was pretty good at school too. I wouldn’t have passed math without her.”

“After being together for a month or so, she decide to talk to her dad about her friends who were dating, trying to gauge his opinion about dating.”

“He just.. freaked out and start going on this rant about how the boyfriend would leave when he gets her pregnant and that she’ll be throwing her life away.”

“He also yelled at her for being friends with people like that. He says that she should cut ties with them immediately. She says she didn’t look up to them or anything of sort - they were just her classmates. She doesn’t date, either.”

“A week later he confronted her about this guy she’s talking to. He looked through the texts on her phone while she was sleeping. Grounded her for like.. three months. Pleading from her mother didn’t really so much.”

“A few days after that, my friend got jumped by him in a mall’s bathroom. Dude just grabbed his shirt while he was peeing and told him that he’ll beat the shit out of him if he keeps dating his daughter. Shoved him back into the urinal right after that.”

“If I was with him then, I wouldn’t let that shit fly. I only learned about it when he came back to the coffee shop I was staying at.
Even after all that, he still stopped me from taking revenge on her dad.”

“Had a good plan, too. Wait for him to take the stairs, kick him down and stomp his head in. A couple of kicks on the back of head and he’ll be retarded for the rest of his life.”

“… anyway, my friend didn’t get hurt, just got some stains on his shirt and pants. He didn’t try to talk to anyone about it since there’s not a lot of evidence and he could be hurt a lot more if it goes public.“

“This isn’t a just one time thing.”

“Two years ago, there was like.. a knitting extracurricular activity thing in her college. You pay to knit stuff and that money will go to some charity. She got there late and had to sit with strangers rather than her usual friend group.”

“The uni took a picture of the participants and posted on Facebook. There was a picture of Sarah sitting next to a few guys while knitting a saucer.”

“Her dad saw it and accused her of dating them. He didn’t listen to any of her words and demand that she give him the messenger password for her account or he won’t send her money.”

“She did, and he removed basically every chat that wasn’t academically related.
Not even female friends of hers were spared since they talked about their experiences drinking alcohol a few times.”

“She managed to get a second account with most of her friends back, but she’s… she barely talks to people. Doesn’t really talk unless spoken to. She’s gotten a bit better now, but still.”

That’s.. that’s fucked up.
At least, he can’t hurt her or other people like that anymore.

“Huh?”
“What do you mean.”
You explain that you got Sarah new emails, phones, an apartment room and got her dad a job that doesn’t involve people.
She barely has to respond to him nowadays.
He’s just some dumbass making powerpoint presentations at home now.

“That’s awesome.”
Nathan doesn’t really question where you got the money to all that from.

“Well… glad it all worked out.”
Yeah. Same.

Well… not entirely.
There’s still the issue of your dad.
While you got Sarah out of that relationship, there’s no telling what he’ll do next.

To deal with your dad, you decide to..

>>Continue looking out for your sister until she gets a job
Once she’ll out of college, what your dad does won’t be something you need to worry about.

His life will soon be meaningless.

>>’Nathan. There’s just one more problem.’
Explain the affair to Nathan and ask for his help. You’ll need all the resources you could get to stop him from causing more problems.

I can’t do this alone. I need your help, Nat.

>>Tell Olivia about it now

Nathan. There’s.. one more problem.

You explain to him about your dad, his affairs, how your mom almost killed herself because of it (although you leave out the part where you gaslit your mom), and how Olivia is completely unaware of this.

You plan to stop him for good this time, but you needs his help. Nathan agrees, but asks about what your plan will be.

You are unsure yet, but you’ll come up with something soon. Stand by.

You want to tell Olivia about all this, but you decide to hold off until she finishes the finals, which is about a month away.

You lie in bed, thinking about all the ways your dad could be stopped.

With Sarah out of his life, it won’t be long before he finds another mistress.

There’s gotta be a way to subdue him…
>>
>>5440433

>>Your plan
Your preferred way is to blackmail him into not having another mistress, by using Sarah’s texts. Legal action could be taken against him while keeping Sarah out of prison by arguing that she was forced into it.

You’ll get him some fleshlight or something.

>>Your secondary plan
Slowly erode his reality - gaslight him to the point of having a mental breakdown.
Just like before, things and words will be randomly changed to make him question his sanity. Once pushed to that limit, your mom could file for divorce due to the dangers of someone like him around the family.
>>
>>5440433

>>June’s plan
June proposes is to negotiate with him directly about this affair. Until Olivia can get a job, which will be about.. two or so years, no affairs. After that, do what you want to do and you’ll continue to send him money.

If he tries to get violent, well, that’s what your bodyguard is for.

>>June’s secondary plan
Get him out of the family. Inform your mom and Olivia right away and confront him together.

He will leave this family.
>>
>>5440433

>>Nathan’s plan
Nathan suggests that you should present this fact to Sarah’s dad - get rid of two threats. Her dad would go to jail for assault and your dad would be unable to cheat for a while.

>>Nathan’s secondary plan
Your dad will suffer a concussion due to falling down the steps of a mall’s stairs.

It's hardly the most dramatic of the plans, but I feel like this would be the most conductive to a stable future. Dad seems like he's not gonna change at this point, and while it might break mom's heart, approaching this on a united front with the family might impart some strength? I just don't see this ending well for everyone.

Well, Plan A is the safest, but may not work.

Plan B has a very real danger of causing our dad to snap and do something crazy, to himself or someone else, further traumatizing Olivia in a way mere adultery wouldn't.

Plan C is just a softer version of Plan A.

Plan D sort of defeats the purpose of keeping the affair secret.

Plan E could quickly spiral out of control and, again, Dad dying or suffering severe injuries in the process of revealing the affair is likely to be quite traumatic to Olivia.

Plan F is probably overkill.

>My vote:

I suggest a combination of Plan A and C. Bring the bodyguard and June. Tell Dad no more affairs for two years, or we reveal him. He can file for divorce when Olivia is out of the woods, and then go do what he wants. If we catch him again, we'll expose him, and have his life ruined, at BEST.

You decide to go with a mixture of blackmail and negotiations.

After a week of gathering all the texts that could destroy your dad’s reputation, you go over what you are going to say to him.

You and June wrote, rewrote scripts, changed the delivery of your words for several hours during the night, and planned out responses for what he might say.

Damn.
This is kinda hard.
It’s not as tedious as your old life’s essays or speeches, but it’s a lot of repetition.

But for the sake of Olivia, this all means nothing. Her life means more than mere annoyances that will be quickly forgotten.

To relief some stress, you also practice your unarmed combat training, primarily using the punching bags. While your bodyguard is there to prevent him from using violence, he could still get one or two hits in before there is intervention.

And from what you’ve witnessed years ago, one shot to the head is all it takes to instantly end someone’s life.

It’s been nearly a month of preparation.
With your body trained, your voice calmed, plans readied, you decide to call your dad and organize a meeting. Both you and your bodyguard are armed with pistols, although it’s unlikely that the situation will escalate to that point.

The meeting takes place on a Sunday afternoon, under the guise of a business proposal.

Your mom won’t be back for a while.
Hairdressing takes a few hours.

His fingers become more erratic as pictures of his text are shown on your tablet.

At first, he tries to deflect this accusation by stating it could be falsified by his enemies at work. You shatter his confidence by repeating the details of his sexual encounters with Sarah.

His seething noises and strained palms are all the confirmation you need to offer a solution.

Immediately after, you say that you don’t give a shit who he fucks. You don’t really want to make this public - your own reputation, Olivia’s, your mom’s, it all goes to shit.

All that matters is Olivia.
You ask that he stops having affairs until Olivia finds a job, which should be two years. In the mean time, you’ll provide him with all the porn, fleshlights, and whatever stuff he needs. You also don’t care if divorce happens or not once Olivia is independent.

Do we have an agreement?

'You motherfucker..'
'You.. you fucking..'
Yes or no.

You tighten your grip on the tablet in case he tries to get violent, but he quickly calms himself down.

'Yes.'

Alright. Good.
Stop the affairs and this will never come up again. Oh, and one last thing.

It’s not just me.
Certain people have taken interest in Sarah.
Try to silence me and the others will come for you.

Your dad is exhausted.
He is breathing rapidly, and a mixture of frustration and sadness can be seen on his face.

It’s time to leave.
You pick up the tablet and stuff it back into your sidebag, which could act as a shield if needed due to the many books inside it.

You constantly look back at your dad’s house as your bodyguard drives away.

..
That was stressful.
Hopefully he accepts this bargain.

You quickly inform Sarah and June about what happened while driving back home.
Your dad’s probably not crazy enough to try to kill his son, but just in case, the message won’t die with you.

You arrive back at your house unscathed.

Two days after the meeting, Sarah sends you screenshots of your dad clarifying that he doesn’t want to continue the relationship and that he won’t contact her any further.

A week later you get a call from your dad.
Apparently his laptop was heating up a lot more than usual and processed his commands really slowly.

You can somewhat understand the frustration of teaching dogs to listen to commands when you have to constantly guide your dad through removing malware from his device.

Having to also instruct him on cleaning fleshlights wasn’t something you also anticipated either.

Arugh.
Even when he’s mostly out of your life,
he’s still a nuisance. At least he isn’t cheating on your mom.

….
Olivia has finished her finals now.
After explaining the situation to her (while keeping certain aspects like your threats vague), she seems to be quite saddened by all of it.

Judging from how she was texting, Olivia is quite disappointed, but able to remain composed. This has put some questions into her head, however.

‘What about when mom tried to kill herself? Did he have anything to do with that?’

You respond to her by saying..

>>”Yeah. He was messing with her to cover up the fact that he was dating his secretary.”

>>”Yeah. He was messing with her over some bullshit. I don’t even know what the hell it all was.”

You give an answer that has some truth in it.

"I think she got really paranoid about cheating and just snapped after not finding evidence enough times"
"Marriage mustve gone down hill for a while”
"I shouldve seen it coming"

'Looking back yeah it was obvious'
'They were got into arguments over stuff like water bottles and tissues'

Both you and Olivia are pretty bummed out by all of this. You decide to change topics and talk about your personal lives instead.

Your relationship with Sarah has been going well during these past few weeks. She’s still a little skittish when it comes to physical contact, but it has gotten better. You gush about how cute she is when you got the chance to pet her head and hold her hands.

You reassure that physical affection isn’t something that can be quickly rushed, and it’s okay that the other person isn’t as willing as you, but she explains that her relationship has progressed a lot further than yours, although the sex wasn’t particularly satisfying.

About a month, huh.
Not bad.
Not bad at all.

It didn’t end up to quite the stress relief she had hoped after the exam. They were safe about it, of course. They checked the condoms to see if it leaked or not, and she had morning after pills on standby. (although she didn’t tell him that)

She also privately checked if her boyfriend stealthed* (stealthily removed the condom and came inside her without her knowledge)
He didn’t.

You decide to ask what she would do if he did.

Since she keeps those emergency pills on her bag, she’ll pretend to get some water. Once out of line of sight, she’ll take them.

The next few days will have different plans depending on if she is pregnant or not.
If she is, she’ll get a day off to get an abortion before continuing her plan.
Rape accusations draw too much attention and could backfire.

After that, she will break him.
At first, it would be spiking his food or drink with laxatives. Then raw chicken.
Put alcohol and other contraband into his backpack. Make him trip down stairs.

He will suffer, both academically and socially. Once he is established as an undesirable amongst students and teachers alike, no one will really care when his punctured by screwdrivers.

It will be a burden on his family, prevent him from being as active as he once did, stopping him from possibly impregnating other women.

She could accelerate the process if things don’t go her way, of course.

(Cont)
>>
>>5442969

You’ve taught her well.
She retains knowledge to detect danger and avoid it, but also the willingness to stomp on the heads of vermin that could disrupt yours or other peoples’ lives.

A little too well, perhaps.
That tone and mannerism… it’s the same as when you found out about Sarah and your dad. Olivia might become a problem should she find out about the truth between you and June.

Then again, you might not be able to keep this hidden forever.

You decide to…

>>Talk about Sarah’s dad instead
There’s a reason why Sarah hasn’t been receptive of physical affection…

>>Rein her in
Listen, Olivia. I know you want to stop people like this, but this is too far.

>>Tell Olivia about your first girlfriend (sort of)

Let’s give her a fraction of the truth, to throw her off your tracks.

You tell her that your first girlfriend was June, your dad’s former secretary. You two met each other in the same town a year ago.

She was pretty cool.
Had a lot of stories to tell.
Got along pretty well despite a ten years difference.

Olivia asks you if she knew about the marriage failing. You tell Olivia that she doesn’t completely know about it, but had suspicions on your dad having an affair online or maybe had phone sex, but she couldn’t really find hard evidence of that.

Olivia doesn’t seem to linger too much on that question. She must’ve chalked it up to June being in a similar position to her during those years.

All seems clear for now.

….
For the next two years, you spend more time with Sarah and Olivia, and occasionally monitor your dad’s activities.

You end up delegating the ‘fixing malware and cleaning fleshlights’ to someone else instead that wants to make a quick buck.

He doesn’t seem to have any affairs right now, although the relationship between him and your mom remains cold. Stopping affairs for two years can’t fix decades of wounds. Then again, it doesn’t need to.

With your assistance, you accelerated her job finding process. She managed to get a job as an accountant at a decent hotel and a decently sized housing.

Interestingly, your dad hasn’t divorced your mom yet. Maybe it is shame, guilt, or something else, but you can’t be bothered to give a shit now.

Your relationship with Sarah is also going pretty well. With your guidance, Sarah was able to express her emotions to people close to her.

'Nah'
'All that shit back at your house?'
'Did it all on my own'
'If she did, I would have six guys with me'
'And we wouldve had the conversation in a public bathroom'

He is still typing….
Still typing…
Still..

The conversation ends here.
He never sent another message in response.

For the rest of 2017, you spend some more money on private investigators to see if your dad is plotting something.

Nothing suspicious yet.
This could still be dangerous, so you spend more time on exercising, practicing unarmed martial arts, and discovering different routes out and in buildings you frequent.

It is 2018.
Your relationship with Sarah is progressing nicely. She is a lot more receptive of your sexual advances and more willing to voice her desire for it.

Sarah is still a little hesitant on marriage, though. She doesn’t feel that it is necessary right now.

Honestly, it’s probably best if you two wait.
Less than two years and Corona will happen. If they have children, it’ll be difficult to raise the child. If dad tries to take revenge, he might target your family.

While you are rich (technically a one percenter since you have roughly 20 millions), the world doesn’t really know
that - to most, you’re just a wealthy landlord and shareholder of several businesses.

To avoid the feds, you keep most of your money secret. Getting started as a landlord was tough enough with those guys around.

You don’t have a lot of powerful connections - you could be still arrested if there’s hard evidence for criminal activity. Best if you stop toying with dad and let this go.

As for June, she seems aware that Sarah is the woman you would like to settle down with, and tones down the intimacy and physical contact outside of the bedroom. She doesn’t want a repeat of your dad.

Your relationship with Nathan and other colleagues of 2007 Mcdonalds shift are pretty decent. While you rarely meet up, the group keeps in touch online.

Nathan in particular became a lot closer to you during 2018, as you assist him in dealing with potential threats to the bar he works in by using private investigators.
They found information about those people, and he dealt with them.

While your relationship with your bodyguard, ‘BT’, is mostly professional, you consistently try to nudge him into preparing for the shitshow that was 2020.

Befriending him is surprising hard - as expected of a bodyguard. Friendly ones are often taken advantage of by shitty clients.

He’s also one of the toughest one that you’ve faced in terms of manipulation.
His boundaries are set in stone, and rarely does he even give out personal information.

Since he didn’t budge, you decide to just gift him packs of bottled water. Inconspicuous enough, and will serve him well on a day to day basis.

Around in the end of 2018, dad divorced your mom.

It was quite discreet.
Not even Olivia knew about it for the first few weeks. At least your mom and dad didn’t do anything reckless. You also got in contact with mom and helped her find a decent apartment.

Olivia seems to take this pretty well, but you spend time hanging out with her regardless during the early weeks of the divorce.
She has accepted that a few years ago, when you told her about breakdown of the marriage.

However, the private investigators are picking up some unusual signs from him.
Lately, he received boxes of .. masks, hand sanitizers, food, water, and toilet paper.
His house is filled with boxes.
He doesn’t seem to believe in conspiracy theories or anything of sort, either.

He’ll be pretty rich if he can sell all of this during the early days of the pandemic.

No fucking way.
Corona virus happened in December 2019.
How the hell..?
No chance dad is also a time traveller too.
Otherwise, he would’ve realized investing in apple stocks is a cheat code for money, and would’ve bought all this stuff rather than be given it.

Someone that time travelled is helping him.
Why did they help him now instead of years ago is still a question you can’t answer.

You’re missing something.
You’ll have to examine his co workers and friends again more throughly, and with limited time.

That time traveller must be..

>>someone at work
Your dad abused his position to keep people on the job. Maybe this time traveller is trying to help your dad in return?

>>a child of people in the company
The pandemic caused a big lay off in the company. With how corrupt he is, he could be a lifejacket for those that ‘invest’ in him. That would also explain why they weren’t be able to help him for the past decades.

>>someone he taught
According to June, your dad has a cushy job, but he does sometimes go to seminars to give lectures. Maybe a student of his also became successful and tried to help him?
>>
>>5450154

Uhh..
You might’ve gone a little too far.
And having your dad as your enemy could be dangerous when he’s backed by another time traveller.

You decide to apologize about the video and ask him if you can come over and drink together. Just the two of you.
You can bring anything he wants, honestly.

He accepts.
Next week.
Saturday evening.

Fireball.
Jack Daniels.
Coke. Not the zero cal one.

Got it.

A week was spent gathering all yours and his preferred types of liquor, alongside planning out how you could manipulate him into giving up information about who is sending him toilet paper and masks.

Saturday arrives.

BT drives you to his house.
You say that you’ll call him back around 11.

The two cooler boxes you bring are filled to the brim with bottles and cans. You also bring a few bags of snacks to go along with the drinks. The sweetness of strawberries and cranberries will complement the drinks quite well.

The hoodie wrapped around your waist nicely conceals the knife that is on your hip.

The sidebag slung across your chest is packed with medical supplies and books. It’ll stop a knife’s thrust and could act as a shield, but aside from that, your torso is very much vulnerable to blades or ballistics.
BT and June won’t there to save you.

Then again, you were always alone for your entire (past) life.

Let’s do this.

(Cont)
>>
>>5452044
Right away your dad becomes annoyed by your choice of drinks - Smirnoff Ice.
Really? After all these years, you’re still drinking something for a woman?

Fucking cunt. You don’t get to disrespect June’s drink like that. I’ll let this one slide for now you goddamn vermin.

You try to brush it off as trying out what Olivia and Sarah likes to drink. Yeah, it’s not exactly high percentage stuff, but you already have plenty of them back at your house, so why not use them?

Dad laughs it off, remarking that you’re still just as stingy as ever.

You don’t insult me and get away with it, old man.

The first few hours that followed didn’t matter to you much. Some workplace stories. Some complaints about how shitty his work is. Some backhanded praises that stomp at your mother’s dignity.

You pretend to care, offering fragments of your stories and trying to keep him sedated with praises and agreement.

With more alcohol flowing through his bloodstreams, his mind have become more hazy and undisciplined.

Hmph.
It’s time.

To extract information from him, you’ll need to put forward the topic of his boxes of toilet paper and masks.

You say that you noticed a few cardboard boxes around his office when you went to the bathroom with “TP” and “Masks” written on it. Why is he buying all of this? Everything okay?

Dad says not to worry about it.
All of this stuff? He took it from some guy’s locker after he got fired for unprofessional conduct from work. Was quite arrogant, and eventually snapped and insulted people too many times. Turns out he was a cheapskate, hoarding shit from hotels and restaurants during the business trips.

Goddamit. That’s not what happened!
The investigators saw and recorded him receiving these packages from someone.
Sure as hell didn’t take it by himself like he said.

How will you get him to tell you the truth?

>>”What are you trying to do?”
I know you didn’t take those by yourself - you had someone deliver them to your doorsteps.

What the hell are you planning again, dad?

>>”Those look pretty brand new, dad.”
Those look a little too well packaged. No wrinkles on the toilet paper, no nothing.
Doesn’t explain why all the hand sanitizer bottles are the same brand and same size despite being from different hotels.

What are you keeping secret, dad?

>>”Alright. If you don’t mind, can I take some of them?”[Go check his office again]
Be the fool for now. Take this opportunity to search his office as well.

Uh. Sure.
Don’t take too many, yeah?

Your dad chuckles, seemingly unaware of your real purpose.

You fully open the door to the office and look around it. The dozens of boxes make the already small office even more cramped.
Without careful movement, you could easily stub your toe on one of these boxes or a desk’s corner.

On the desk is an old laptop and a few folders that can barely keep documents inside.

Looking through the drawers reveal a few interesting things.

The top drawer reveals a few envelopes that are filled with cash. Some are more empty than others.

The middle drawer has two calendars, one for 2018 and one for 2019. Both have highlights and notes on them. A quick glance reveal that they are documenting events in the future.

The bottom drawer is an ocean of stationaries and old notes, but touching the ceiling of it reveals a note that lists some stores nearby his house that sells..

HCI?
Lye?
Engine starting fluid?

These components are used in creating meth. Your dad probably isn’t that smart to cook meth, but he could be used as a mule and buyer.

From the looks of things, he’s made quite a profit off of this. You’re unsure if confronting him about it or keeping this information hidden would be best. You also still need to know who is backing him.

>>Continue looking around
He’ll be suspicious, but you might find something else that could be useful.

Worth the risk.

>>Confront dad about this formula
Look, I know about your drug running business, dad. You don’t need to do this.
If you got a money problem, hell, if you need more money - just ask me. I don’t want you to do this anymore.

You don’t want your dad to end up arrested.

>>Quietly inform dad about this formula
Slip in the fact that you know about his drug business while drinking with him. You can’t really blame him - you too have dabbled in things that aren’t legal.

Try to pose as a friend, perhaps.

You grab a few hand sanitizer bottles and return to drinking with your dad.

Leaving right away would be suspicious, so after a few minutes of drinking, you check your phone and pretend that you received a text.

Uhh…
Shit.
Sorry, dad, but I gotta go now.
I forgot that I have a class to teach tomorrow.
Gotta go.
We should do this again.

You pack up your coolers and call BT.
Your father chuckles and jokes about how many classes you would’ve missed in high school.

Hmph. He seems to buy it.

You immediately inform June and Nathan about this once your bodyguard picks you up. While you would like to tell Sarah about this, you trust those two more in terms of illegal things.

You plan to torch his office, but you need someone else to do the job. Dad could recognize you based on your voice or body language.

Let’s.. let’s just sleep for now.
Coming up with plans while you’re drunk isn’t the best idea.

After waking up late, you spend some more time planning out how you are going to destroy his office.

After thinking it through, burning his office likely won’t be enough. What if he has money or notes taped to somewhere else?
Set everything on fire. No half measures.

To perform such an act, you’ll need at least two people - one scout and one infiltrator.

(Cont)
>>
>>5454068
Nathan is the person you turn to when it comes to illegal acts. While June has witnessed and were friends with people ‘in the life’ in the past, Nathan is the one that regularly deals with those sorts of people.

While Nathan sympathizes with you, he also warns that if your dad is in a gang, it could result in retaliation if the operators’ identities are discovered.
It’s worth the risk.

This operation is also pretty expensive, although your investment in ‘future’ trends like buying stocks of Nintendo before the Pokemon Go craze and SpaceX before they launched that car into space have ensured that you will remain a decently wealthy millionaire.

The operation will be done during new year’s eve of 2019. Your dad will be drinking with his friends at the bar.

You decide to send..

>>Two freelancers
Only armed with spare clothing and some lock picks.

Unarmed, disposable assets with no affiliation to any gangs.

>>Nathan’s unit
Nathan and two of his friends are skilled in melee combat and infiltration.

Loud, violent, and fast. Unskilled in stealth, but can easily intimidate people.

We were never going to hit full billionaire status until 2020 or so, anyway.
>>
>>5455589
Uh we returned to 2007. 12 years later we have 20 million in 2019. How do you expect to be a billionaire in 1 year?
>>
>>5455621
Oh, no, thats not the case.
The 20 million was actually 27 million from the apple stocks + 10k bitcoin during 2009

Technically the protag is a shareholder and landlord which does give him a few thousand dollars, although that is balanced out by the constant use of private investigators.
>>
>>5455691
*hundred thousands as salary i meant
>>
>>5455621
If we bought $15K in Bitcoin at 9 cents a coin in 2009, and did NOTHING else but hold it until 2021, we could sell it for $68K a coin in 2021 and have 11 billion dollars.

Now, we DIDN'T do that, but c'est la vie. We diversified with some Apple stock. If we invested a bit later into Bitcoin because of our age and need for start-up capital, and only dropped $7500, when it was $32 a coin and sell at the peak for over $15 million. If we invested $7500 in Apple stocks in 2008 at $5.17 a share, we could have easily hit $16 mil. Now, we sold some to buy stuff, help our family, hire PIs and Sarah's idiot dad, etcetera, but we are also a landlord and business owner making moolah. Makes sense that we have about $27 million, with all that taken into account. The math adds up! We're clearly no slouch at using money to make money... And we still ahven't hit our original death date, which means we have time to spin this using our future knowledge.

Imagine we invest $20 million of that in late 2019/early 2020, when Gamestop stock is under a dollar. It hit bottom at about 84 cents, it looks like. It's peak was about $86.87. If we buy in at 84 cents, and sell at that peak, we will have sold that stock for over $2 billion.
>>
>>5455821

That's how you go to jail for insider trading lol
>>
>>5455826
Then we wait a little bit until the first few Reddit posts go around for plausible deniability, and invest slightly less, and only make $1 bil or $1.5 bil.

Besides... We AREN'T insider trading. Any investigation would find that we in fact did NOT have an inside scoop. Some social elites might suspect us, but they'll never find any evidence of malfeasance because we are LITERALLY innocent of any financial crimes. Unless Time Patrol comes looking for us, we're good.
>>
>>5455830
Still, dumping millions into GME, even during the peak of it would seem sus to authorities

They might investigate, and not find illegal stuff about money, but could find out illegal stuff about your blackmail, your dad’s activities, and the arson (dont worry im still writing it!)
>>
>>5455830
DeepFuckingValue made 50 million and he had to testify before congress. You make 1 billion and they will be up your ass for the rest of your life
>>
>>5455833
This is true, but we CAN become a billionaire. That's all I'm saying. If we are willing to be a bit more patient, we can even make it less suspicious. Invest $10 mil at $3.3 a share, sell at $81 a share ("It was less than half my money, and I've always been a gambler, officer. Did you know I became a multimillionaire landlord in my early twenties because I bet big on Apple? Ever since then, what can I say... I've been a risk-taker. When I heard Wall Street Bets' theory, I knew I couldn't pass this up! Glad I didn't.")

Now, we have about $245 million when we cash out. But hey, we already established we're a stock market gambling FIEND who takes risks and hangs out on Wall Street Bets. The Redditors and Elon Musk start shouting about AMC as the stock that'll really takes us to the moon, and we are ON that! We invest $200 million (if anyone asks, "Because fuck it, I already have $45 million to my name even if it fails and we have doubled our goddamn money in a month so WHY NOT, right?"). Buy in after steam has started to build and the stock price is $3.51 a share. Sell Juuust after the peak, so it looks like we timed it PRETTY well but not PERFECT... Say, $51.96 a share.

We now have $2.96 billion dollars and change.

Then, we invest in oil and defense contractors with some of that before the war breaks out in Ukraine.

I'm not saying it couldn't bring us danger or drama... But we can do this. We SHOULD do this. We can become a major goddamn power broker and be above the law.
>>
>>5455834
Parley our money into meetings with some 0.1%ers. Maybe make friends with Musk and Thiel, or a banking family, or join the Trump Train if we really want. We can ingratiate ourselves and gain protection.
>>
>>5455844
Musk and Thiel had connections and they made their money from legitimate investments over decades not random stock speculation in one year. We try that we are fucked lol
>>
>>5455907
Doubtless we can find some common ground if we offer funding. Alternatively, do some big philanthropic works, lobby the right politicians...

Or give up on being a billionaire to avoid drama and complications, but that seems like a pretty weaksauce move.

You decide that this operation should be handled by professionals. If they do it right, you won’t have to call them again.

Aside from sending the money for the operation, you also send information about your dad’s habits, commonly visited locations, layout of his house, and plastic versions of the house key. Nothing you could do about the recently installed deadbolt, though.

They demand additional fees due to the short time frame before the operation and ‘loudness’ of the work.

Fine.
For 60k, these guys better vaporize the house or some shit.

New years’ eve of 2019 arrives.

Two pick up trucks are parked right outside the house. Four old looking men leave them, and pick the cardboard boxes in the back before heading to the entrance.

The guys bunch up around the porch, allowing the first one to lock pick the cheaply installed deadbolt and unlock the door with the plastic house key replica.
Most of them seem to have a lot of bulk on their bodies.

Even with the cold wind blowing against them, their make up still remain intact.

jack is pretty good
its incredible how old he could make us look

In a few minutes, they’ve filled the house with flammable objects and turned on the stove.

It took a lot longer than expected, but the house was burning, just like the client expected.

Along the way to the safehouse, we removed the fake license plates and our disguises. While the makeup and hair extensions were easily removed, taking off a dozen layers of clothing took a pretty long time.

Lloyd backs away from him and puts the can of soda he was holding in a shelf nearby before leaving. Both of us do not respond to anymore of his words and attempts of acting tough.

Aside from some yelling and moving around like an autist, he didn’t do much.

Pft.
Just some old guy thinking he’s just as tough as he once was.

We got back to the safehouse without any problems and nothing noteworthy happened for rest of the night.

The last couple months have been insane.
Those pros were pretty good at covering the tracks, but you didn’t expect the speed of your dad’s descent into the life. At least the legal paperwork about insurance and the feds’ investigation seem to die down somewhat after the first month.

Staying at his.. “friends” houses has made him a lot different. He is becoming increasingly paranoid and his online activities are becoming less frequent.

Those friends of his might be low ranking associates in whatever gang he is in, but you’re not sure.

Olivia didn’t seem to be heavily affected by it, but you spend more time talking to her and warning her about dad. It’s best if we stay away from him for now.

You have scaled back contact with Nathan and use of PIs during the early months of 2019. For now, it’s a little too dangerous to be using them.

Someone is calling.
You don’t recognize this number.

「Hello. Is this your first name and family name?

Yes. Who am I speaking to?

Hmm...
This guy sounds pretty young.
Some 20 year old you bet.

「I know you burned your father’s house down, even if those feds can’t prove it.
I would like you to end all hostilities now.」

「Leave him alone and everyone else won’t get hurt. Sarah. June. Olivia. Shall I keep going?」

That’s it? Leave him alone?

「Yeah. Just that.」

Why do you need him, anyway?

「Why would I tell you that?」

You respond with..
>>Because if his actions hurt my friends and family, a lot worse will happen.

If he crosses the line first, there’s no incentive for me to not do so afterwards.

>>Because we don’t need to be enemies - you can have your own corner of the world while I have mine.

Both of us are in the same line of work.

>>So that time travelers don’t step on each other’s shoes.

Let’s see if he panics.

Probably our only redeeming quality as a person is our care for our loved ones, after all, and we take it pretty damn seriously.

So that time travelers don’t step on each other’s shoes.

「…」

Got him. If he wasn’t a time traveler, he would’ve said ‘what?’ or ‘what the hell are you talking about?’ right away.

Come on now, did you really think I wouldn’t notice dad receiving all those toilet paper and sanitizer bottles?

All of that, and it’s a year before Coronavirus. Pretty obvious.

「And you chose to burn the house nonetheless.」

Because him being part of the meth business isn’t good for my sister.

I chose her over another time traveler’s idea to get rich quick.

Now.
Tell me what his propose is.
I don’t want to go through all again.

「He bought ingredients and delivered them. Had to scale back the ingredients buying part and mostly works as a mule nowadays.」

You and the other guy spend a few more minutes talking about your dad’s operating zone and schedules.

Ah, from that area.
That’s good to hear. Going from here to there means that he be less likely to be part of Olivia’s life.

Several months have passed.
Neither you or Olivia have seen dad for a while. He still has his normal day job as a factory manager, but you rarely see him stay at his friends’ houses.
Most of the time, he’s driving.

Supply and demand must’ve gone up.

Well.
It doesn’t matter.
Olivia is safe.
Sarah is safe.
June is safe.
Nathan is safe.

That’s all you care about, really.

It’s time to prepare for the end of 2019.

As you stock up on food and medical supplies, you think about how does someone become a time traveler.

Is there an age limit to it?
Is there a shared connection?
Is it the unfulfilling previous life?
Is it because of a ‘wish’?

You don’t know yet.

And the confirmation of other time travelers means that there could be countless other people that could interfere with your current life. You also don’t know if you’ll die at the same time as your previous life, at 30.
You’re 27 now.

1 = June

You decide to tell June about time traveling.

You explain that you died alone in your past life, your mom and dad divorced during college which destroyed Olivia’s life while you ended up in debt for the rest of your life.
You wished to redo your life and ended up waking back in 2007.

You’ve used your future knowledge to invest in bitcoin and apple stocks to keep the house during recession, stopped a shooting at Virginia tech, went on a cruise during 2013 before the industry faded away, and right now, you’re preparing for a “Coronavirus” pandemic which will drastically alter the world.

She seems to take it surprisingly well, but asks why you didn’t alter more events.

You wanted to, but you’re too afraid of what could happen in response. By stopping that korean school shooter early, there was a surge in police militarization and brutality, alongside increased hatred of asians, jumpstarting the hate crimes that would’ve been committed at later date into the present.

And another reason was that your priorities have changed. You wanted to focus on family and friends, but the opportunity for marriage and having children is long gone now.

You don’t know if you’ll live after 2022 in this timeline, and you don’t want to saddle Sarah with children alone. Even with money, not having a father figure is something that you wouldn’t want your children to live through,

Right now, you just want to get as much money as possible before you (potentially) die.

Getting the money is easy.
Keeping the feds from snooping around and discovering it is the hard part.
You could try to keep it subtle, only investing a few thousands in GME and selling them during the peak (Jan 2021), which could result in several hundred thousand dollars in return.

You could try to push your luck and invest a lot more, but you might have to answer to authorities, who could dig up your past.

Or maybe you could try to do a hail mary - invest in big companies, use the millions you currently have to lobby the politicians that the 1 percenters like, do philanthropic works, and maybe you’ll get recognized as a millionaire by other one percenters, and potentially be above the law should you get someone influential as a friend.

While June prefers you to remain as a minor millionaire, being a shareholder and landlord to the rest of the world, she can not control what you decide to do with your time or money.

Your goals for the next few years of your life is…

>>Earn money subtly
Raise the rent slightly, invest a small amount of money in GME and other soon to be valuable industries.

>>Earn a lot of money overtly
Go big.
Even if you falter, at least you won’t end up like your past life.

>>Try to get into millionaire circles
Now or never. You might end up a friend of powerful people or be discarded as a scapegoat depending on how you play your cards.

>>[June’s plan] Keep close friends and family safe from the upcoming pandemic
By being a shareholder, nudge the companies of your friends and family into not firing them when the pandemic hits.
You could make sure that your friends could have plenty of water, medicine and gas without doing harm to your wallet.

Unsure when the next thread will be posted. Maybe in a month or two, as I plan to do a cyberpunk quest completely unrelated to this.

If we live past thirty, let's go for it.

Go big. Spread it around. Who needs to nudge companies when we can just make our loved ones independently wealthy and leave them in charge of our nonprofits and companies?

>If we live past thirty, let's go for it.

I meant that as in, if we die in 2022 like our old timeline self, then having children wont happen as the protag dont want his kids be grow up without a father figure.

If the protag live past that, yeah, he'll have kids.

Ah, fair enough. Does Protag-kun even know what killed him originally?

Also, thanks again for running. This has got to be one of my favourites on the board right now.

The Original QM left it ambiguous, saying that he died alone and in debt. Not even sure it was ever mentioned explicitly.

Let’s do it now.

1 = Heart attack caused by health issues
2 = Beaten to death by a couple of assholes who tried to pick up women but you intervened
3 = Head injury due to accidental fall in a bathroom
4 = Hit by drunk driver
5 = Killed by loan sharks’ goons

I mean we did pay taxes. Screw the feds.

How about we burn every piece of electronics we own? You never know
