You are Kolinaisi Kaiko Wahthiri. Warchief. Captain. Primarch.

And anxious.

Your return journey home which is an emergency response to the failin health of old man Martin, has you on wits end. Ya supposed to be sleepin. Ya just finished up writin the new contract including laws for takin ships- which actually drew Roboutes attention with how ya handled it.

The crew is excited to privateer again, and the small team to rescue Frank, Tybro, Charon, and Tig has formed fast and large. So that briefin had to be done.

Then there is the matter of him: He-whom-looks-like-you-but-is-not-really-you-cuz-he-an-ass. His Journal is troublin. His talkin with Epsilon is also troublin. His tryin to talk to the gene witch is even more troublin. Ya captainin name is RuaRua which is big trouble- but him is worse.

Ya haven't surfed in a hot minute.

Ya friend UR, a man of iron, is going to be back on De'lormosa. That's gonna be a fun one to explain.

Not as fun as the scary box which is back in yer trunk. Ya can still sense it.

Then there is of course the issue of Old Man Martin hisself.

He may be dead by the time ya get there. Ya doubt it, he too careful, but things may be different. There is much on yer mind

Then there is Meerah underneath your arm curled up to ya snugly and Erihapti at yer feet doin the same.

Ya want to be able to sleep. Rackin out has always been easier for ya. But not now.

Somethin is eatin at ya.

You sigh.

You look over the journal again, then put it back down.

Your mind is wanderin. You need your rest for the last bit tomorrow.

You shut your eyes.

And the room is the same. And the ghost of not you is standing next to your bed, near Your brother whom you have not connected with in a while.

Magnus.

"This is entirely more complicated than I am used to brother." Magnus states causing the ghost of not you to snicker a little bit.

"I guessin ya can see him." You say pointing to the ghost."

"I can see a lot of things, that among them. We have much to discuss because a lot is happening very fast, father wanted me to tell you what was happening. I also wanted to talk to you and see how you were." Magnus says sitting on the foot of the bed which is awkward.

"This is also a really good bed! Fit for a primarch." Magnus said and you shake your head getting up in your dream form.

"Thanks bruddah, I am sure I can make one for ya or get one when we actually meet." You say and he chuckles.

"What?"

"Some primarchs get gifts of fine weapons and armor from their brothers. You offer me the bed you sleep on. Quite bemusing." He says and you realize quickly it may be an insult and your jaw drops a little.

"I meant no offense!" You say

"I know that. Your earnest behavior is quite charming. But I know you probably don't sleep much, and that this is awkward. So what do you want to hear first?"

"How are you brother?" You ask "And also what did father instruct you to tell me?" You follow up with quickly.

"I will tell what father asked me to tell you first. Then we will exchange pleasantries- but thank you for asking of my well being." He says and you nod, and the ghost of not you takes a more relaxed position nearby

"Though to be fair I want to go over the ghost in the room- but we will do that when you are ready. Father has sent Horus, Fulgrim and Myself towards the far ends of the sector to find his sons. Horus has been given the lead in this scenario and it is likely that they will find you before father meets with you. It's important to know he has taken this strategy and is instructing me because of 'certain elements that have access to secure communications' and that I could be trusted with this only." Magnus says and the ghost of not you looks over

"He means the time traveling shell of a primarch whom you have locked in the void cell" The ghost of not you says and Magnus looks at it then you

"He knows I can hear him right?"

"I DO!" The ghost says and you look upwards sigh briefly and get off the bed. Even in your sleep you cannot rest.

"Magnus, tell me about this operation, and by extent how you are." You say

"And you will explain- that" He says looking at the ghost of not you

"I will get around to it. You first." You say and Magnus nods.

"We were sent along with your own legion, the orders were changed at the last minute. Horus had to fight a Khrave enclave and he was slowed down temporarily."

"Those are the worst." You say and Magnus looks at you with a little surprise.

"I am aware from what Horus has told me. There is a planet we are to conquer along the way that has me worried. It is a black spot in the warp, and just looking at the portion of space where it is at has me worried for my own legion." Magnus says and you can see the look on his face- he is serious about it.

"So I take it that is the route you are expected to take, and this planet is important." You say

"Oh quite so. There are mineral deposits on this planet that are no where else in the galaxy. But any reports form scouts or human traders nearby, are quite worrying. So that system we are set to investigate. Fulgrim is going a bit further north than me, Horus is supposed to take the middle route. I am also supposed to glean any navigation notes you may have for where you are in the galaxy, and where your home is or the homes of any other you found." Magnus says and you smile and with a wave of ya hand you show the star routes you and astral charts you have memorized in relation to the galactic plane.

"First time for everything" The ghost of not you says and Magnus looks more than a bit pleased.

"This is very impressive. Did you do all that?" Magnus asks

"Well from what we have from sensors, what I have studied while navigating, star charts, and astral mapping. We could do better" You say, and honestly you are not sure why everyone is so impressed. It's just one mapped portion of the galaxy, it's barely a whole sector or at least whatever the region is. The main problem with the maps, and ya have been a bit upset about it, is the lack of uniformity on star charts, and maps. Having to explain where ya are from via constellation, while a fun trick, is not particularly efficient. Magnus looks at you shocked.

"These are better than our imperial charts. At least in this sector, and many other sectors. I will relay this information immediately. Your sons are actually very close to your home world. Though I am not sure which company."

Olympia sure was a fucking ordeal wasn't it? Kolinaisi had to fight a khrave, a man of iron, a retarded version of himself and then a fucking titan one after the other. Good times.

didn't get it out before last thread but in honor of coming home here is a new Leviathan

Grandma/Gran Grey

>While not the largest or strongest of the leviathans Grandma grey is among the most revered. Where she and her pod goes the fish seemingly lose all survival instincts making them an easy catch for the fishermen. Even the people are affected to a smaller degree, often claiming that after spotting her they felt a great sense of peace and contentment. In her presence even the weather become clear. While Grandma Grey is often seen as benevolent only fools would think her harmless. Those who have hurt one of her pod will quickly face both her and nature's wrath.

>Grandma Grey is an albino Orca the size of a blue whale with potent psyker abilities and an intelligence to match. she is a migratory creature travelling with her 100-strong pod of her descendants (while none reach her size all of them are larger than the average Orca) in search of new hunting grounds.

Thanks. I love it.

"Well Magnus, it's a lot. I don't wanna be givin ya headache like I have. Suffice to say, it involves nonsense and me havin to fight a lot a things, do a lot of things, and some of it don't make a lick a sense, like that." You say pointing to the ghost of not you

"That's fair enough. Hopefully there has been some knowledge gained from all this." Magnus says and you nod.

"I have learned how to pick a fight with a titan." You say off handedly

"WHAT?" Magnus says in shock.

"I fought, a Khrave, a man of iron, a time traveled version of myself and a Titan. One after the other. As I said brother, it's nonsense." You say exhausted just thinking about it again.

"I see that! Says much about your strength and durability as an individual, if not your tenacity and will. Surely your psyker capabilities were able to help with it?"

"They were crucial for parts of it. But If I wasn't a good fighter, I am sure I would be dead." You say and Magnus doesn't flinch at that.

"Hmm. Strengthening all aspects of oneself is crucial." He says.

"It seems like you have much to deal with as well." You respond

"This area we are going to- I feel it may have elements and things that would work against my psyker abilities, as well as those of my men- if not outright harm them. I am sure it's an oversight." Magnus says and you pause for a moment and shake yer head.

"Nah. Ya have an opportunity. Test Yaself."

"What?"

"Test. Your. Self." You enunciate a bit cleaner.

"It seems like a difficult test."

"And you are also strong. Magnus. You have the same capacity for strength, will and physicality as I. You may be strong in psychic ability- but you don't really appreciate somethin till ya lose it. An ya. Jack of all trades may be master of none, but more often than not it's better than master of one." You say remembering what ya da said.

"This would be a better test of the men. Being able to do things without relying on pure psychic might is a strong argument for this. You deal with the warp and psychic ability extensively with your navigation more than any of our brothers I imagine." Magnus says

" I don't really consider speakin to the machines a psychic ability as much as it is a part of me I suppose." You say and the ghost of not you nods and seems pleased by this statement.

"But I don't, really deal with the warp too much. I try to avoid it when not dealing with navigation, that and I barely have had time to research other than my own ordeals with it."

"You speak of the warp as if it is something to be avoided, yet you have one of the most romanticised warp related roles." Magnus says

"Mate, there is nothing romantic I find about the warp." You say and Magnus chuckles

"It is a wealth of knowledge however." He says, and you think a minute. You don't need to give him any more headaches.

"Eh." You shrug and he studies you briefly.

"You aren't telling me something, out of experience." He says and you pause.

"It aint worth ya time." You say and he looks over at the ghost.

"And that?" He asks.

"Something that our creator, will know more about." You sigh and Magnus seems confused by your actions and holding back so you tell him what would work. Not giving away too much.

"There are perilous things I have dealt with in the warp, I was able to stand against them. Not everything in the warp is friendly." You tell him.

"It can't be that bad, our strengths, and our intellect would make short work of most foes that would reside there." He says and you look at the ghost of you.

"It may be a good idea." He tells you.

Magnus not being retarded would be a great boon.
If nothing else, making sure he and his legions dont summon "familiars" would work wonders for stalling the corruption his legion suffers from.
>>
>>5443474
Magnus my sweet summer child, I say to you this because I want your eyes open before you dive in feet first:
>> Explain what you have experienced in detail.
>>
You take a firm stance.

"Ok. Let's have a sit" You say and Magnus creates a chair. You sigh. And you go over everything in painful detail.

The Chaos Gods

The daemons you fought

The Khrave.

It takes a while. Magnus seems to revel in this discussion and seems to be taking mental notes and records, and doesn't interrupt you. You went over every last bit of it, not leaving out any detail. Even to include how you think that the island you lived on may have interaction with psychic abilities and the warp, which he also seems interested in, then taken a bit back.

After you finish speaking he looks at you thoughtfully.

"Brother, what you speak contradicts the imperial truth. You will have to talk to father about it."

"What?"

"The imperial truth. There are no gods in this universe no petty superstitions. What you encountered are probably incredibly powerful warp entities, which may seem god like in power but ar"

"I aint sayin they should be worshiped. Know and understand bruddah a mighty god is a livin man." The wisdom of the island ancestors coming out of your mouth and Magnus nods with a grin

"That I am sure father will happily get behind. However, you will have to discuss this. These entities, I may need to be careful with my warp studies about this. But for this current mission, I may just try to focus on warfare if psykerism may not always be a valid primary tactic. However, these powerful entities, you said you sent it into a sun using a data djinn torpedo?" Magnus asked with some curiousity

"Yuh. Out of necessity though. It was a very complicated and strange ritual. As I explained."

"So you did. Brother we both need to leave this. I am not sure, through the coordinates if it will be Fulgrim, Horus, or I that meets you first. However I do hope it is I. You take care of what you must and be careful." Magnus says with a wave and then he is gone.

You wake up and you have an extra two hours for sleep. However it looks like Meerah is stirring. She still talks in her sleep, though it's all gibberish. You pull her in tighter to you and stroke her hair gently. She wakes up briefly smiles and moves in closer. You blink.

And it's your shift.

You get up and go to the Ready deck. Jerah looks anxious and isn't leaving the room

"How much time on approach?" You ask.

"We bookin RuaRua. We bookin it. Ya path, after the navigata made a few mods, we gonna be there about halfway through shift. Roboute wasn't that bad either." He says and there is a slight machine hum.

As was stated earlier

You smirk.

"Alright lads." You hit the captain call

"Get ready for approach to De'lormosa! Any business ya have, best be ready before shift over. If you on rest, get ready to readjust to island time! All hands whom are doin the touch an go report to me personally by mid shift!" You let out over the captain call. You can hear a lot of cheers and you smile as you take over the helm.

"I was going to give this to ya after ya get home, but I gotta assist the touch n go. So here. Ya earned it." Jero Jerah then proceeds to perform one of the most important captain rites to another captain.

The hat.

When a privateer or pirate captain is officially made their first run, they earn the hat. The captains hat really depends role, but captains get bicorns and

The hat that is placed upon your head is a tricorn. For an admiral.

You control enough ships.

You breathe in.

"Ya aint propa though. Ya need the jacket. I imagine the old man will be happy to make you one. With all them goats an materials we got ya can probably have a fine one." Jero Jerah says

"Aye." You tell him.

I want to know UR's on noctolith and whether it would cause him any problems to be approach or enter a planet with that material. I don't think Kolinaisi has made the connection between necrons and noctolith yet thouh.
Also to prepare Nasi for finally leaving this ship for shore time.
>>
"Yeah get the usual suspects." You say and Jerah rolls his head up and chuckles

"Ya I'll get yer family Ruarua. I'll get Nasi and Pyg too." He says and Meerah comes in with Erihapti.

"Get them later- actually get them soon. Nasi hasn't been off the ship yet has he?"

"Naw I reckon he hasn't. At least not on De'lormosa. First time he touched soil was on Olympia." Jero Jerah says and you do a bit of a think on it.

"Ya. Pyg's condition- him touchin the beach have him and Nasi come soon-" You say thinkin about how the black sands effect things. You ponder. Jero Green Eyes nods and walks out. And in comes ya family as Meerah stays in besides ya. Roboute is the first in, followed by Yana and Arona, and the last is Uncle Kai.

"Nephews." He says as he enters and Roboute sighs at this, but looks like he is warming up to this tradition.

"What's the deal" Arona asks, and she has been a bit more on edge lately.

"I just haven't spoken to yall as a family in a while. It's been a lot we been through. Arona ya did want to talk about the knight, Roboute, I am sorry ya been here so short a time and I haven't been able to give ya enough attention, must be one helluva way to meet a brother. Same to you Yana. We just found out ya my sister, and I have barely spent time with ya outside combat. When y'all get back from pickin up Frank and Tybro- I will be makin amends." You say and Uncle Kai puts a hand on ya shoulder, still quite a feat.

"Ya a proper big man. The will and desire to fix it all, and I think ya just might. We good nephew. Though ya gonna get some hassle when ya get back. They gonna wanna know what ya brought upon the account." Ya uncle says and Roboute looks at you curiously so ya go over the ledger from memory.

"After my share given freely to the crew goin out to save Frank and Tybro, we got a gift for every tribe and the Eire. It may make the poles and the emerald sea a bit upset we didn't consider them. Then again they never really like us. Cuz. The knight." You say and she looks at you at you and, there is something different.

"I am keepin it. And if ya be doin whatever this primarchin is, or whatever Titus calls it, I am comin with ya. Someone has to watch ya back." She says- and how do you argue with that?

"Brother, what are your plans, after this? I realize you are going to return me home, but this looks like whatever you have to do when we get back is going to be something hard. I do wish us talk more. And I am honored that you include me among your family." Roboute says and Kai playfully punches him in the arm
>>
"Ya his bruddah ya big goof. It'd be wrong were ya not here. We gotta lot to do when we get back for sure. Or rather ya two do." Uncle Kai then blows a raspberry and gives a goofy face with Arona and ya chuckle.

"Ya ya. Ya better be careful I will rat ya out to mah da." You say

"Pfffffft. I been fightan with ya too long- I aint scared of Ravi after that last scrap. Im more scare of ya sista after that." He says pointin the tumb to Yana who blushes. Then Arona turns

"Ya, Yana ya definelty made of sterner stuff." And even roboute nods. What the blaze ya miss? You turn to Meerah and she nods too. And the rest of the family looks at you, including roboute as you stole a glance from Meerah.

"Bout time Lad! I was wonderin if ya would ever pick up what that one was puttin down. I'm gonna go talk to the chain breakas. Nephew Roboute, summa my men wanna go with ya and learn from ya planet like a culture exchange, ya good with that?" Your uncle kai says- whom has taken to leadin the chain breakers pretty well.

"Only if some of my men can work with the chain breakers. Of course this is only if-"

"Ya Im good wit it. Ya'll do what ya need to do. Just be careful doin that rescue." You say and they smile and walk out and Meerah holds your shoulder tightly.

--

"He holdin up?" Ravi asked the Crone who was utilizing some kind of psykerism and medicine nearby. The Crone cringed.

"He is holdin up enough to hear ya. Kolinaisi will be here shortly. Ravi. I need ya to go check on somethin for me."

"What is it old man?" Ravi asked and the Old man uttered something and tossed a little device.

"Follow that to the research lab. I need you to check up on the research drives. How much is actually at 100% I started spinning them up a while ago. If they are up, I need you to do the on flip for the four hyper-cogitators. That shows ya how to do the job. It shouldn't be that hard. However- I need ya to go over it with me. Tell me what is actually up. Ravi- I am gonna tell ya this now. This important." The old man told Ravi. He grabbed his hand and held it.

"Ravi. Their a lot of big future in that. It rest on your big man shoulders. It's a simple job- but I need ya to do it exact. This will help everyone. If it where anyone else, I'd just wait. But ya raised Kolinaisi right. He a good lad. Ya Grandfather and his father, would be proud of ya. I know for a fact ya da was." The old man told him and Ravi sighed

"Old man Martin stop bein so dramatic. Son's gonna get here and fix ya up." Ravi told him.

"That may be. If somethin go wrong, this needs to be done now. It also needs to be up an runnin when he get here just in case somethin is wrong."

"Alright old man. Crone motha- ya got the old goat right?" Ravi spoke and the crone mother looked at him.
>>
>>5448164
"Aye ya. Don't ya be callin him that. He's my old goat. You treat him with respect." She told him with a snide tone.

"Oh he get respect. He earned just enough. He proved he wasn't a rubbish man. But he still the old goat." Ravi said with a chuckle.

"I can hex ya!"

"And I can bop ya on the nose." Ravi shot back with a nod of the chin before descending the hatch.

"Ol Man. Can't believe he's the livin ancestor. Next thing be the Great Men start steppin up." Ravi said steppin down. The hallway was foreign to him. It wasn't, natural It was so cold and ugly. The island was always pretty. The Ocean? Fierce and beautiful. The poles? Fierce, but natural. The Emerald seas? Weird- but natural. Nothin about this was natural.

Yet

The pictures on the wall. The art. The portraits and paintings. The books. These were human. These while artifice, where natural. The scenes on the wall. The painting Wanderer above the Sea of Fog behind some glass, looked like something that could happen on the witch islands. It looked like it could be one of the Eire people to Ravi. The portrait on the door above what looked like Old Man Martins- something. Ravi walked in, casually and approached the the device that the object he was given mapped to. As he did the back wall quickly went clear. And the scope of this ship became readily apparent.

The ship. Was massive on the inside. Ravi stopped gazing, and went to the task at hand. He followed the instructions, which were complex. He then opened up a screen

"Yeah Ol' Man. They is on line there are some at 100% 'Genealogical Sciences, Warp Studies, Construction/Template Theory, Quantum Mechanics, Macro Construction and..." Ravi tapped something that was flickering "Super-Cogitator Theory? This is a lot of weird stuff Ol' man"

"No that's actually a perfect combination. You just may have saved the planet Ravi" The old man coughed.

"What do ya mean old man." Ravi said

"The person comin, if anything is wrong, they gonna remove the problem. He may be someone I am a friend with, but if he has any excuse, he will stop a problem before it becomes big if he bein smart. This gives us leverage. What we got on line makes this planet and this people indisputably important." The Old man let out in another violent cough.

"And how that gonna be huh? This stuff tied to the ship?"

"Wrong! I need ya to look at the construction options that are available." The old man coughed hard, he wasn't sounding too good.

"What am I lookin for?"

"Free Pattern Super Cogitator. Ya gonna make one, and load up the available options ya listed on to it. Then it's gonna put it on ya island. It should have a lot of design options."

"Yeah. It can even look like one of the Stone Head Statues from the emerald seas. It can look like a totem, things huge though. Where we puttin it?"

"On ya island." He said and then chuckled

"Whats so funny?"

"If ya have one of those on ya island, they aint gonna do anything to this planet y'all don't approve of. Especially on The Black." The old man said

"Old Man if ya have somethin planned"

"I always do. This is a fail safe. If I do not make it they may not be so lenient. This, will insure, so long as y'all do as I tell ya, that they don't do anything bad towards ya." The Old Man said. Ravi looked at the display.

"So I just hit the thing that says construct? It says it will take about 24 hours."

"Ya. This will give ya the same data as my ship, at least to this point, we may upgrade it a little too- it's a just in case to make sure nobody breaks my legacy and that this planet maintains some level of what it is now." The Old Man said. Ravi sighed. He tapped the button.

And the first, Ancient Pattern Quantum Core Super Cogitator made in over Ten Thousand Years was being constructed for humanity. Not by the Ad Mech on Mars. But by a humble tribal chief

"So.. What you say- confirms," The admech agent made an audible human sigh, which seemed strange coming from the highly modified being, it almost sounded like a harmonic wheeze "One Initiate Bellsarus" The ad mech agent continued

"Bellasarius" The Initiate said under his breath

"Initiate Cawls ridiculous theory, and two- that they were here and wield great power." The ad mech agent continued.

"Correct. And they gave me star charts to their planet."

"But he went somewhere else first."

"And he gave me the charts to those planets." You respond.

"We would like to report your finding to the reconquest group." One of the people said in a hushed tone

"I don't know what that is."

"That is the group of ships that the Omnissiah sent to reconquer this portion of the galaxy when he found the locations of many of his sons were here. As a result we went out ahead ant the reconquest fleet came shortly after. They would be more equipped to handle this situation. Do you have any preference which one we reference?" The same ad mech representative asked

"What?" You say to intentionally try to be a little obtuse. They really have to learn to speak plainly. Or at least offer clarity.

"Which one of the fleet do you prefer we contact?" The same said a bit frustrated.

"How would I know? I don't know whomst they are?" You respond and it causes a bit of hubbub except from the initiate and his mentor

" They are Magnus, Horus, and Fulgrim! Also elements of the Eleventh, but primarily Those three and their legions." They say

The Shanty singing has started. Meerah is leaning against ya as the navigating goes on. It's Ol Maui. After learning the song in a bit depth ya thought it was a bit insulting to the captain, until you realize that it's more about the job being done and finally returning home.

"What is the first thing ya gonna do when you get home?" Meerah asks

"Fix up the Old Man. Make sure he doin alright. Then see the family. Make sure ma and da are alright." Ya say lookin over to her.

"Then surf?"

"Ya." You say with a smile.

"You?" You ask her

"I am with you. Though I will go see my family too. Though after that I may need to go surfing with a certain big man that I have to keep my eye on." Meerah says.

"Sounds like a handful." You respond.

"More than that. I'm just happy he has a cute shoal stoat to play with and he aint to bad on the eyes." She says and that's something you haven't heard before. Really you haven't considered your appearance before, other than keepin ya hair the way it is because it looks fierce like ya father.

"That's a new look. I like that smile." She says and it catches ya harder than that pretender in the cell.

"aah"

"Captain!" Nasi announces proudly as UR follows behind shortly.

"Nasi! Ya been a good lad. Ya ready to head ashore? I know ya haven't really been on land other than a scrap." You say and he nods but looks confused.

"You say the land is nice, so yeah! But I am kinda worried. I have never been on land like this before. Is it cold?"

"Nah lad. The black is the nicest weather ya ever seen." Meerah says and Nasi full on leaps into the air and parades out.

"Ya realize that kid has the largest share of the crew for work now that you gave yours up?" Meerah asks.

"I knew that when he signed up. Pyg." You say and UR has a the :D expression.

"Captain, I suppose you are here to ask me about the new form or-" The Expression changes :|

"You are worried about if I will react to the Noctolith with what is going on" Ur states.

"Yes to both." You respond.
>>
>>5449896

"I am honestly not sure if it will be bad. My calculations account for me being fine. But The concentrations that the ship detects in you- and the rest of the De'lormosan crew- is well, quite questionable. How your psyker crew is able to manifest anything doesn't make any scientific sense. Your 'gifts' are something that will take a lot of genetic testing and honestly this old man better be as good as you say if we want to find out anything, much less figure out an acceptable work around for my condition." Ur's expression is confusing to read `'?[:\ and leaves Meerah with a little giggle.

The Bombing run was going well. The Rangda were bad, eleminating them was important when they showed up. The Khrave were FAR worse, but that isn't a subject that you actually had too many lessons on. What you had lessons on where hand to hand combat, intelligence gathering, shooting, more shooting, piloting, heavy weapons operations, whatever the hell actually happened in the memetic psychological conditioning class that lets you be unphased by everything so far- or at least as much as you can be, oh and long range shooting.

At least the mission was going well, kind of. You succeeded afterall, you talked to the emperor of mankind and he was informed of your knowledge that was, memetics stored in your brain. Him actually touching you and removing it felt like a burden had been lifted. Thinking fast and reacting now was far better. Reaction time was absurd now. Still though, there was a lot to be done. The emperor gave you a mission.

Right now that was blowin up rangda.

And eavesdroppin on Angron.

Who was- clearly - stalling for time. Causing the marsy boys to elaborate.

At least ya makin ya pay as Kolinaisi, Ruarua? Islander names are so weird.

"I would like a second opinion briefly." Angron says. If he asks that fella Alpha, he is gonna get nothin but worse questions. Maybe it's that same Alpharius person from before.

"Frank?"

"Ya buddy." You say calmly over the radio which makes Charon chuckle.

"Which would you recommend them contacting of those four?" He asks and it's a valid question. The eleventh, from what titus says and your limited knowledge are for all you know probably at De'lormosa now. Contacting them would be dumb. Horus, seems to be the most famous, and best equipped to deal with any normally given scenario so long as he can plan for it. Fulgrim, the Emperor's children had a rough go, but if they do something- they do it perfectly. Also Fulgrim, from what you know and read, has a surprising amount in common with your captain, and may actually be the right choice for the Rangda, he would actually execute the operation with painstaking precision. Magnus is full stop bad choice for this op. You do not want psykers comin and messin around if so they may summon the enslavers and specific things that are really nightmarish against psykers. It's kinda good kolinaisi aint here now because the honor guard may have lost some members.

"Fulgrim. Fulgrim or Horus. Whichever is closest, but I'd say Fulgrim." You say.

"I defer to the expertise of those who have experience. Send word to this Fulgrim and Horus, whomever is closer."

"We shall we have other issues we must discuss."

"Oh I am sure! let's" You turn down the volume. Angron is just gonna give the marsy boys the runround to let the Squats get off world, gonna be hard without an escort though.
>>
>>5451638

"Angron, boss man? You want me to take care of that small tech issue." You say and there is a pause.

"Oh that! Yes, I am sure you can escort that junk past any Rangda problem." Angron tells you clearly in on it.

"Will do!" You say.

"I wish I was Tybro." Charon says

"Why you don't like this gig?" You respond.

"I don't mind helping with the straffing and extra gunning. But at least Tybro is, well, being Tybro. This just feels so strange to me." Charon says

"I get ya. Scan the channels and loo"

"Oi laddie! Thanks for oferin up a good screen! We were lookin for the big bloke that Angron was talkin about- do you know how to get in touch with em?"

"Ay! That I do. We are probably going to get a pick up from him in a few days, but he should be heading home soon- maybe if you hurry you beat him there." You say with a chuckle.

"Is it that place ya man Angron was talkin bout? The birds bunghole and everything?"

"Yep that'd be the place."

"Perfect! We have a chart for that location, it's a bit odd of a location, but we can do that."

-
Unlocked quick response pick JUST ONE

> "Hold it! Why is it an odd location? De'lormosa isn't that odd.

> "Your just heading that way without any warning? You sure that's a good idea, they have been working on a defense fleet."

-

"We gonna work on this when the old man is better friend. But it will be priority one. Speaking of, what ya plannin to do with your share?" You ask

"I am going to raise the goats. Maybe try to breed them and use them for milking or fur growth." They say

"Ya that is strange to me that ya like goats so much." You respond to your friend of iron.

"They are a fascinating creature. They are quite capable. If I had to have a symbol like on a knight or armor it would be that."

"A goat?" You raise an eyebrow like ya da at that one.

"Yeah. Maybe in a rampant form. Or perhaps just the head." They say

"That would fit ya." You respond back

"Oh what would you have for a symbol? You are going to have to know that when you run into your sons. They all have armor that has some symbol or vexology from what Nazca spoke of, and Titus seemed to not be too fond of their colors." Ur says and Meerah chuckles a little.

"What- it's not; Mate we cross that bridge when we get there. Ya go keep ta Nasi. I got a bit of piloting to do here with this lady here and we still have a lot to go over. with the rest of the crew, and then there is what I am going to do about designing knights when we get back- this is even before you and I have our talk about current events." A lot needs to be talked about to UR. They situation is incredibly complex, and they deserve more time. For someone that started off trying to kill ya, they have been solid council.

"You want me to get some other people Cap?" UR asks.

This one is tiny. It's going to get a lot more detailed really really fast and you are going to see a few more tiny ones with a ton of options

"Are you sure you want to do that? They are starting to build a defense fleet." You respond to them

"Aye. We'll hail someone and ask if they want to trade I am sure it will be fine." They respond back and as you follow them out they make their position for a warp jump and leave.

You go back to the last little bit of your punitive bombing run, then land the craft afterwards near the Martian ships.

As you get there it look like Angron is still, talking to them, though it seems like they are about to leave. Which may not be so good, if the Rangda decide to comeback it may be a problem later.

"You have something to stay Frank?"

"Are they leaving?" You ask.

"They are." Angron responds

>> It may be better for some of them to stay back, Rangda may send more.

>> I am not sure if that is the best idea, but if they have to go they have to go.

As you pilot the ship Meerah leans in close to you. It makes piloting a little bit harder, and you have a peaceful moment. You use it to reflect, as Meera just seems to content to lean in on your arm. As you approach De'lormosan space, Jerah comes in.

"Well lad we are almost there. I'll take over the landing so you can get what you need to the old man faster. I know ya had a shopping list for it that was a bit absurd, goats and everything included, so I figure that may take some time to gather up.

"Aye Jero, you take the helm, we aint got long anyways."

Decision time:

Choose 1:
>> Gather up Materials first
OR
>> Gather up landing team to help first.

Choose 1:
>> Have a team find a place for Roboutes men to bed down at on solid land
OR
>> Have them pick out an area after the unloading is done

Choose 1:
>> Make sure Jera is able to get that big Mokka of his to the meeting spot first thing to help with the offloading
OR
>> Have the islands share, then the crews share, then the mokka let on out.

Choose 1:
>> Have Roboute come with ya to help the old man
OR
>> Have Roboute wait and help Jero with the logistics.

Choose 1:
>> Announce on the comm that you made it back home safely so Perturabo may get the message if his comm has finally been made
OR
>> Wait till after the old man is fixed up

"CREW! MAKE READY!" You call out over the comms, and the work songs begin again as Jerah comes in and looks at ya funny.

"Get that big zoo ya call a Mokka ready for departure." You say with a sly grin, which Jero Jerah smiles and gives you a salute. As soon as he turns out, Roboute looks in

"Bruddah, help Jero with the logistics on this while I do the tactical captainin things." You say and he gives you an almost frustrated look.

"You mean run around the ship really fast like a chicken with a head cut off." Roboute says and you shrug. He kinda has ya there.

"After ya done we find a proper bed down for ya men." You say

"I sure hope so, they miss a decent sky and sunset." Roboute says and you nod.

You step outside as Jero adjusts the helm for Yana who heads on in behind you. She has taken to he role well.

Meera and Erihapti follow close behind and UR comes up to you.

"We'll get ya straightened out after the old man is fixed up." You tell UR and they nod. You also think about announcing the emminent arrival over comms and think it may be better to do that later.

You go to the main gangway and see a small contingent with Arona, and nearby a small contingent made up of your honor guard, Nasi and UR. You look at them briefly

"Ya comin with me to get the materials to save the old man or ya just gonna stand round?" And there are a few grins.

The Eleventh legion made planetfall on the moon of De'lormosa first. There were the rumors. Orks on various moons. Gigantic Biological creatures.

"Legion Master."

"Sergeant?" You respond to one of the many, many non-commissioned officers. The legion was, similar to the first in that regard.

"Sir, we have made contact, the orks are mostly at the edge of the system. However, there is a warp signature coming in lightning fast- from a very unusual angle. We think it's our Primarchs vessel. We think it's the something fierce."

"I wouldn't doubt it. Still, we have scouts on De'lormosa itself right now, trying to find a decent position for us. We should eliminate all potential enemies to mankind in the system. Starting with the orks on the moon." You point out to the obvious ork settlements which somehow survive as the most ramshackle space forts you have ever seen. It actually is concerning. What are they raiding? What are they doing? Analyzing the behavior of xenos was a weird trait.

"Warp sign!" A strange computerized voice said from the ship and Ravi looked to the sky. And from it appeared the ship that his son captured and a whole host of other ships. They slowly descended down towards the giant ship. It was timely. The old man was coughin and gagging. And laughing.

"I win." He says as you look at him strangely.

"Who he talkin to?" You ask the crone

"Someone you are better not knowing about." She says and you roll your eyes and sigh and spit.

"I can"

"Ya ya ya bat. Hex me. Spell me. Confound me. But ya can't tell me the truth because that too hard hag." You spit out and you see the magic comin outta her and the spell misses ya. Probably not intentionally. She sneers and you do a hakka snap and face then stomp. And she flinches then focuses back on what she was doin to the old man, to be honest it doesn't seem enough. Thankfuly the Fierce is close

Really Close.

There is a flash of light.

There's a giant metal suit and a small child, your son, the four witches one of which is Your daughter.

She looks just like Tia when she was young. Only a little different. You stop everything and run up to your son and -

He is huge. He has grown significantly, even if it has been a short time. He and your daughter.

Your lost daughter hugs you.

She looks up at you with a few tears, it's a terrible day for rain.

Your son stops.

"Da. I have to do this. We do this after ya?"

"Ya son. Ya fix him up." You say, and one of the witches

Meera

Seems awfully close to your son, and she is definetly wearin somethin nice for just comin off a ship. Not more than a second ravi

Ya got a daughter to talk to.

>> Yana is that ya name?

>> Let her say the first words.

>> Just hug hold her for a little bit ya idiot and get Tia over here.

--

The reunion can wait.

The Old Man is dying.

"Ha ha. I fuckin win." The Old Man spits

"Pride is a bad trait old man."

"But honesty is a good one." He says hacking out some blood

The inside of this 'ship' makes the fierce look- it honestly would make the machine spirit of the fierce wrathful with jealousy.

"Left ya goof." He says and you turn.

"Pyg, Nasi, be my hands when this starts. We gonna be fast. Gellah ya got ya tools ya?"

"Aye Cap!"

"Deliah ya got the material beacon?"

"Aye Cap!"

"Meerah ya got the tech kit?"

"Aye L- Cap!" What the hell was she about to say? The old man looks at her and then you as you haul him into the lab that is astounding.

"On the tech cap." UR says and Meerah follows

"I got the machine over here."

"Ya- ya got a fine crew lad. All this for me?" The old man says wheezing.

"They volunteered. Which machine first."

"Fix the device first. Then the middle one, put me in it, it should do the rest, if ya crew is as good as they look" The machine buzzes to life as UR gives a thumbs up and Meerah pulls out the analyzer for you. Gellah gives you a look.
>>
>>5456865

"I have absolutely no idea what is keeping his heart pumping because that machine is dead and whatever weird black thing about to pierce it is gettin awfully close." Gellah says and Deliah gives you a nod and a thumbs up.

"Beacons alit! The material is in!" She says. And you take the analyzer and look at the device. The machine spirit is speaking something odd, like a dirge almost, and the analyzer- thankfully picked up earlier from the ship from the things you researched creation of, points to the exact part. You take out the clearly radioactive material and carefully using the very delicate instrument Gellah hands you place it in.

"What exactly are we doing Old Man?" You ask because so far this medicine is ancient, crazy, and seems very unorthodox.

"Fixin a man of gold." The Old Man spits and UR looks visibly shocked with a :O emotive.

"Pyg!" You shout and they shake there head and open up the giant cylinder.

"Remember the word. Say it right. With conviction. My body will be repaired, better than ever was, we do this right, I will be at peak potential. Say it the second my body hits the ground and not a second sooner. Not a second after. There is a lot we must do. Things gonna happen." He says barely alive, and something happens. He doesn't look old. He honestly looks - young. Slightly younger than your father, but he looks like he could be any islander- if they dedicated their life to stayin healthy and lean. His eyes are a little different- gold even, but his skin the same. He looks like a younger version of himself.

"Old Man what you do?" You ask.

"Hide my real self for too long lad. Do it." He says and you place him in the cylinder and close the door.

You pace. The machine, it has some bare notes. You examine it briefly, and make a minor correction. The room is tense.

--

"FASTER BROTHER." Brother Wakatelaho shouted.

"I like your older brother better!" The pilot responded.

"Sorry it's a bit loud! We need to make it- that is clearly the ship that the Legion Master De'Saan told us about!"

"I can see that I can only get this bucket so fast considering we have been dodging orbital defenses and structures this whole time! I thought they were going to be a simple tribal people not a simple tribal people with defenses like Terra! NOT TOO MENTION THE GIANT FOOKIN SEA MONSTERS INCLUDIN THE ONE JUST FLYIN AROUND OVER THERE!" The Pilot said.

"Less complaining more" Wakateleho was smacked with a magazine

"Less back seat piloting! Brother Pilot! Your training is sufficient for this task, while those ships look, irksome we have been through rougher scraps. They haven't fired upon us yet." Gunnery Sgt Akamai said then looking at the rookie pilot with eyes of steel.

The Cylinder opens up.

The Gold Piece exploded on the table fragments hitting the rotting one in a frenzy of shrapnel.

"WHAT IS THIS?!" The rotting one shouted as a wave of gold touched and shook the board

"Maybe you shouldn't have touched that piece" The schemer snickered as the golden figure appeared again

"That is wise" it said before disappearing, apparently having moved something- on the table.

The Shadow chuckled

"WE HAVE THE GAME AGAIN! LIKE BEFORE! FINALLY!" It said reaching across the board as the eldest briefly smacked it.

"Wait your turn. Not all has been done."

Then they all finally saw it.

A piece moved. On its own.

-

"TRAZYN. ONE OF YOUR BAUBLES DID THE NOISE AGAIN!" Orrikan rattled and Trazyn audibly sighed

"Which Bauble?"

"THE SAME ONE. AT THE SAME PLACE." Orrikan said, and Trazyn paused.

"It's glitching. It will work once more deposits are found. A natural deposit does that."

"We are supposed to be looking for these things!" Orrikan prattled.

Trazyn thought. He could lose Orrikan briefly, just to find what it was however, Orrikan had a point- albeit something he didn't understand. A double event was rare something they should look for.

The 'Old Man' after the word was spoke.

A gold light could be seen as far away as the far outer islands and outside the planet.

The Old Man didn't look old.

His body rose from the ground in what could be described as a gust of wind that shocked the room.

"You did good." His voice was less- old.

Where he stood the ground changed and he ripped the artifact away from his chest. He paused. Then smiled.

"Ya did it right. Thank you mighty. Thank ya from the bottom of my heart." He said. He looks very much different.

"Old Man, ya aint old no more."

"I know. Ya fixed my cancer and my issue. I owe ya. Ship begin Inheritance clause." The old man spoke briefly

"Wha-" You barely utter

"Confirmed. Kolinaisi listed at as eligible captain for ship. Privileges and procedures granted. " The voice of the ship spoke, and it was very human.

"Go talk to your old man lad. Get your ship ready."

"I dare say this was a smooth operation wouldn't you agree Rongo?" You tell the tired quartermaster, and he nods as Jerah rides out on to the island with his cows, grox, and strange beasts called 'Alpacas'

"I dare say ya the only one here besides me who actually gives two shits about the logistics, normally I'm just a good chef, but being the quartermaster was something that wasn't too bad. What do you think?"

"I think you did very well. If you were in my legion I venture you would be the chief quartermaster." You say and Rongo lets out the odd low click whistle that some of the Islanders do when they are truly impressed.

"I think I may take ya up on that if Captain was good with it." He responds.

"Really?"

"Life of adventure on new world. Solid ground. I'd get to do what I am good at and some fightan. When I was on your planet it was nice. Your people seem good enough, not that I don't mind De'lormosa, but my wife and kid died a while back. A man can only live for vengeance so long, and we killed the slavers who dun it. Bein a quartermaster is good, but I think I'd be ready to move somewhere else and start fresh ya feel me?" And that is honestly the most you have ever heard Rongo speak.

"I'll talk to my brother. We'll see." You tell him and you look to your men and then to Rongo

"Any idea where we can make camp?" You ask

"Aye ya. It aint the Monsoon- so tha bitters aint bad. I imagine Gran will probably be makin her way past the island so ya'd have fish even if ya men can't. And there are fruits and a nice spring, granted ya can drink the ocean water untill ya in deep ocean. Most the shoals and shallow ocean like round here ya can just straight up drink, specially since Cap and the Ol' man got rid of the mountains of trash. There used to be mountain islands of junk near the horizon, each side- over those way." Rongo motions to the calm serene ocean. Such a thought seems unreal that kind of clean up could occur so fast.

"What happened to it?" You ask him.

"Kolinaisi and the Ol Man made a mess of these flyin contraptions and watchacallits called tree dee printahs and extractas. They flew around turned the junk into useful things and used it for raw material. Normally round this time of year the dumpahs be'd flyin in, and dumpin they trash. But we build them ships, and them platforms- but they left before we did. Nobody knows what happened to them, we think the ganth and them got scared. Of what-" Rongo shrugs.

"So the Bitters?"

"The Bitter Island, it's that one over there. We call this place the black cause of it's sand. Ery one else calls it Bitter shoals."

"Why this place is a paradise?" You say and he laughs and scoffs
>>
>>5459336

"Ya it pretty. Things grow. We get food. The weather, the ocean all got a temper. Also beasties are attracted to here. Then there are some of the shoals that the water taste bitter. Gives ya pep though. Ya make coffee with it an ya good for a whole day." Rongo says, and looking at him you wonder

"Why do they call you slim Rongo?" You ask and he, giggles.

"I Used to be a bit fatter. Now I got a ton of muscle, but still aint slim. Island humor is subtle." Rongo says.

"Seems fairly simple"

"It's also a pun on one of my 4 names. Which, ya bein the captains brother, ya should be there for his namin." Rongo tells you.

"What do ya mean."

"He's back on the island after captainin and defeating some fierce enemies and capturing a mess of ships. He gonna have 30 names at this rate. Wait- 31." Rongo says starin off in the distance his tone changed.

"Why?" You ask wondering about the sudden change in his voice and tone

"Tuka. The angry angry. Ya get ya lads to shore."

"What?"

"Huhu huhu Tuka. The angry fish. He scatters the shoals. He come this way, there will be a boom in fish for one day. Then nuthin. Guess Gran went round the bend and Tuka moved in."

"Why is it- well, from what I heard- the sea monsters aint so much a problem for-" Rongo does the same tsk and finger wag you have seen several islanders do.

"Not Huhu huhu Tuka. I seen him down a star boat. If things are in the water near em, he will destroy it or try to. He swamps islands if people go near the shore. He don't pray on normal food, he pray on the monsters. He pray on the big meanies, whale and flat fish. He'd picka fight with king shark if he lived near em." Rongo says.

"Well what do I do?" You ask politely, knowing some answers of what you could do- or think would be right, but you want to be sure and not muscle in on local custom.

"Well- Shore ya men up. DO NOT SURF AFTER THE FISH GO OUT." Rongo says.

"Brother is not going to be happy with that." You respond.

-

"Tia get over here and meet ya daughter!" You shout over the shortband radio.

"Ya don't have to shout I came over on the fast boat the second I saw Koli's ship land here." Tia says and runs up to hug them both.

"Oh my sweet girl" Tia cries breathing

"I have wanted to see you for years." Tia says half crying barely able to speak

"We both have." You say.

"You have no idea how much we hoped you were alive." Tia says still sobbing.

"She does now."

--
>>
>>5459339

"She does now" You say walking up on to the deck to come up to hug ya parents.

"Son!" Ya ma says

"I came back home safe, though mostly thanks to ya rasin me right and Yana here havin a good head on her shoulders." You say and your mom smiles and laughs a little, and ya da puts his hand on ya shoulder.

"Son. You have done a great thing. You have done many great things. Thank you. Thank you for finding out." Da tells ya and you put your hand on his shoulder.

"Thank you son." Ya ma says. It must be rainin.

"Ol man. Ya, ya can't keep that glamour on anymore?" Ya Da says

"I choose not to. Your son fixed me. I feel like I am in my prime again." And the Old Man does a freaking back flip, to a front flip then pops his back.

"Ya show off." Ya da says and ya ma laughs and seems genuinely happy to be holding Yana, who also seems speechless but happy.

"I always wanted to find my real family. My mother and father." Yana says and your da smiles and then he looks off at somethin

"Is that one of ya ships Son?" Your father asks as a beam hits it and it crashes off on the far isle - wait. That isles new. There are a lot of new isles since the old mans ship is out of the water. Still, the ship crashes.

"Aint one of mine. " You say

"Ya but it at one of ya ships beams." The old man says and you look at it. Something about the ship seems important. The numerals XI.

They look identical to ya pod.

Oh no.

"Brother!" Roboute flies up and leaps on to the deck followed by Rongo. He looks a bit worried

"Tuka." Rongo says.

"Ya sure?" Ravi asks

"Tuka shouldn't be here for another few - oh. The ship. " The Old Man says.

"There is too much activity on the beach. There are too many people! We can't get everyone to shore in time with all the livestock penned! There are guests on the way from the south." Ravi exclaims.

You look at Roboute and he nods.

You hug ya parents.

"Son what are ya doin"

"I am takin my brother on a fishin expedition. Oh Ma, Da, this is Roboute. He is my brother" You say as ya hope on the small platform ship followed by Roboute.

"Nice meetin ya Roboute." The Old Man says and your Ma waves politely and your da looks at ya like ya daft. And maybe ya are.

When you get on the 'skiff' (whatever the hell that is) the old man and ya da hops on.

"I aint missin my nephews first fishin trip." Da says and Roboute looks a bit surprised and ya look to the old man

"I have been slayin monsters a long time. And I need to test myself." The Old Man says. Roboute Takes the skiff out and Rongo stays in the boat as it lands near the island.

"Roboute grab two brave lads. Who can swim." You say

"Well that certainly narrows it down. CASTOR! PULLO!" he shouts and two men who were helping with the mokka run up.

Then you see someone.

Rawhiri.

"Well look who finally came back a privateerin eh?" Rawhiri says with a smile.

"Is everyone on your islands this tall?" The one named Castor asks, and you do notice a stark comparison to the off worlders to yours. You then look at the old man who does the same shrug and smirk that a child who has gotten away with something. Roboute then does a quick look.

"It is peculiar. I count at least 5 people over 2 meters tall that were just here and not chain breakers, and not just tall but built sturdy." Roboute observes.

"Oh it's perfectly within human bodily capacity to have various average heights and strengths based on planets that people live on depending on the amount of years" The Old man says- and that's only partially true from your medical readings. Yes, it can happen that way- but it takes a LONG time mostly, the evolution here- it's artificial at worst or enhanced by something at best. You then look at the old man- he had a hand at this and he gives you the smuggest smirk you have ever seen in your short life.

"Old Man- we are gonna have a long talk after we catch Huhu Huhu Tukka." You say realizing what's up and he shrugs again

"If Rawhiri is goin, I am going to." And Over steps Tonga. Tybro's Cousin, and who is almost as tall but just as big.

"HE'S AS BIG AS THE GIANT! HE MAY SINK THE SKIFF" Pullo shouts and you let out an audible sigh.

"Lads, if ya weren't vouched for by Rouboute I'd throw ya overboard." You say.

"Pullo's sense of humor is a bit hyperbolic sir." Castor states and you help Tonga onboard.

You go to the board your ship and go directly to the armory. You grab a few of the spears recently made that have the volkite end. Roboute looks at you "Isn't that a bit overkill brother?" Roboute asks

"Things knocked a dumpa out of the sky." Your father says

"I heard it is one of the reasons the raids only happened at certain times." Tonga says.

"What exactly is it?" Roboute asks.

"It's a type of carp like fish, the old terran fish was a gar and carp crossbreed. Here it's just called a dragon carp because it kinda looks like a sea dragon. Dragon carp don't die of age, kinda like a lobster. It just keeps gettin bigger and bigger. Problem is the bigger they get, the worse they taste, and after a while the only thing that'll even eat em is big meanies. Worse the bigger they get the harder it is to find a mate or companion, so the bigger they get the angrier they get. The more erratic they behave. Huhu Huhu Tuka, is one that is bigger than any other. It's a real angry monster. It'll attack anything it can to try to eat it." Old man says

"Was it one of-" You say looking at him

"Oh no. That was NOT one of my projects. That was something Doctor Stephens did for a decent fishin challenge. I think Huhu Huhu Tuka may actually be one of the first ones." The Old Man Muses looking at the weapon you gave him.

"So a millenia old fish." Roboute says

"At least five millenia, probably more." The old man says of handendly and Roboute gives you a concerned look.

The small crew you have then hurries out to the skiff, and you spot Huhu Huhu Tukka leap off in the distance.

"To the shoals." You say and your da nods.

It is, surprisin that as many man haven't swamped the skiff. A GEV would of been better. Also the Old Man, is getting into the action REALLY FAST for someone who literally JUST DIED. You look over at him.

He looks steady as horizon on a calm sea. His features, are, familiar. He looks like an archetypical islander, in fact if ya had to sketch out an islander it'd probably be ya da, the Old Man, or Rawhiri. He is tall, not as tall as you but he taller now, though his muscle tone and sinew looks like a crafted sculpture. His old tattoos were almost all gone, though some where a gold color now.

"Lad don't look at me like this ya half freakin me out to the point I think I look half mad." The old man says lookin over to ya. And there it is. The gold twinkle in his eye. The knowing look.

"Just wonderin how ya got the ink to change color." You say and he chuckles.

"Ya tell me how ya get yours ta and I'll tell ya how I did mine." He says and you chuckle.

"Fair point ol man." You say and you almost miss the pass in the distance.

Ya got Tukkas attention.

"Ya see em." you ask

"Aye." Your Da says and the Old Man nods

"Barely. Just a flash." Roboute says.

"Alright now for the part where ya have to promise me ya won't whup me afterwards." You say throwing the controls into a different mode on the skiff. And your da gives you the look he does before ya ma throws a slippa at him. This reaction causes a look of concern on roboute and his men.

"Boy ya better not have been lettin ya bad habits of boatin transfer over to ya pilotin." Your day says - half jokingly. Half. You turn the skiff at a startlin pace that causes a giddy laugh and a woohoo from Rawhiri.

Huhu Huhu Tukka leaps from the waves.

"He got his eye on us." Ya da says.

"Aya. We almost there." Ya say as you cross into the shoals.

"Why is he called Huhu Huhu Tukka." Castor asks.

"It mean Angry, Angry, Disperse. He always angry. When ya see him, ya scatta." Tonga replies, and ya, the translation a bit rough, but the home tongue is.

Not as Rough as the annoying screech Tukka makes.

"OH HE SEE US." The Old Man says with a wicked grin

"HE DIDN'T BEFORE?!" Roboute shouts over the roar of the engine and Tukka.

"Nah lad! He hunts by vibration and electricity. His sight terrible. If he see ya, you in for a wild time." Rawhiri says- and ya forget, Rawhiri actually survived a ship wreck of Tukka, which is part of his acts.

You start to see the saddle rocks and pull towards them, driving the beast behind you shouting. You begin to test the manuvarabilty of the boat.

Tukka is not a slouch.
>>
>>5461437
It's kind of a nod to second primarch quest, throwing in a creature like that.

>>5464434

He leaps into the air with the awful screech. And you realize something almost too late. You almost flip the boat with the absurdly hard turn you make as Tukka barely misses the skiff and hits one of the saddles with an angry noise, different from the screech. Blazes old man.

"ECHOLOCATION?!" You shout at the old man

"Oh ya it can do that I almost forgot."

"What?!" Ya Da screams as Tukka flops gracelessly back into

"It hunts by sound! It screeches at us and it can accurately judge distance and speed of travel. It's probably makin other noises that can barely be heard." You say angrily and the old man is bobbin his head in agreement

"Sounds right."

"WHO IN THEY RIGHT MIND MAKES A DRAGON CARP DO ALL THIS?" You shout largely to be heard with how load the skiff is and to out shout Tukka who is leaping again causing another harrowing turn.

"Well they only learn the Echolocation trick when they get big enough." The Old Man thoughtfully points out as Tukka dodges the saddle with a careful contortionn of it's body, and now it's swimming mostly out of the surface.

"What's the plan son! We can't just keep runnin it around the saddles" Ya da shouts.

>> Beach it then attack with the spears. It'll be more dangerous, but it WILL work.

>> Shout back. Ya got that weird roar, maybe it can mess with it's echolocation, and leave it vulnerable for an opening.

>> Have Roboute take over the skiff, leap, hit the waves runnin, and charge at the thing before hoppin back on the skiff. Tukka never see that.

NORMIES GET OUT

hakka time
>>
Tukka thinks he is the only one who can make noise.

"Cova ya ears." Comes out ya mouth as ya turn Towards tukka. You full stop the skiff and every man on the ship looks at ya like ya daft. Then you stomp and shift pose. Ya da is the first to follow, then Rawhiri, Tonga and even old man Martin.

You clap your hands

And you ROAR a Hakka

"HEAR THE THUNDER STORM!"
The words physically assail the monstrous Carp causing it to flail mid jump

"YOU STOOD UNOPPOSED TOO LONG"
You stomp and scream a second time as the beast stunned at the absolute ridiculousness and temerity for something, anything, to shout at it

"YOUR RULE ENDS RIGHT NOW!"

-
"What in the blazes is that?!"

"It's the sea monster that has been chasing us for several - wait, what is - that small craft is leading it away!" Wakatelaho observes

"How do ya know that?" Gunnery Sgt Akamai asked looking at Wakatelaho

"Well it's the racket." Wakatelaho says pointing as the thing from the sea screeched.

"Whatever humans live here, have to be brave and fierce." Gunnery Sgt. Akamai says

"Whatever humans are here will make excellent recruits." Wakatelaho followed up.

"The skiff pilot- is one of the best I have ever seen." The pilot said

"You can't tell that from this distance and the craft." Gunnery Sgt Akamai spoke a bit confused.

"That kind hover skiff hasn't changed design in over 10,000 years. I know exactly how it is. We have seen it on twenty worlds BESIDES Terra. It takes a lot of bravery to pilot that sort of thing against that beast, and much more skill to get it to move like that." The pilot said pointing clearly to it.

"And the damn thing is screaming again. I am going to ready the Rail Gun, once that skiff fails it's gonna come for us." Wakatelaho said walking over to the wreck

"Not without my authorization you won't." The Gunnery Sgt said angrily

"Master Gunnery Sgt Kyrie Akamai may I Master Chief Warrant Officer Kai Wakatelaho, politely ready the Mk II Hurricane Rail Gun with sniper modifications?" Brother Wakatelaho asked in an absurdly polite tone.

"Aye Master Chief Warrant Officer, please be careful with the units experimental weaponry." Gunnery Sgt Akamai said in an equally polite tone as Brother Wakatelaho walked over to the wreckage and grabbed multiple crates and gingerly put them down. Then in a rapid efficient fashion assembled the weapon.

Then there was a roar like thunder that knocked the beast over on to the shoal. The sound- it was unlike anything they had heard before.

"Well damn." Wakatelaho said.

"What?" Akamai spoke.

"I think it's our father." Wakatelaho said calmly.

"Then, we better give him back up." Akamai said cracking open a crate and passing one of the weapons

"What's ya name son!" Wakatelaho asked the pilot

"Pilot Keanu Hika Gunny." The Pilot spoke taking aim.

-

"We go now! Make ready your spears!" You say piloting the skiff quickly to the beast. Everyone actually seems ready to go, in spite of the odds. On the approach something happens.

The beast pikes on the ground as some fire balls quickly pass through it.

Plasma.

From a high speed projectile.

Then the sonic booms. Quick reports.

These are highly advanced weapons guns, probably some sort of rail gun. Landfall is a quick affair. The beast is still strong, and dangerous. However- everyone here has stood against monsters.

Huhu huhu Tukka will not trouble any village tonight.

The spears blast and thrust. The attacks are coordinated, and the sonic booms still echo.

The Monster raises up.

"WHY ISN'T IT SUFFUCATING?" Ya da shouts and ya realize it's started to get more active.

"LET ME GUESS, IT HAS A SECOND SET OF LUNGS TOO." You shout and the old man nods.

Roboute and his men seem to be self coordinating, but as usual there is a difference between islanders and legionaries. The beast swings it's tail and Rawhiri barely dodges it.

Tonga is not as quick though and gets knocked way back into the ocean.

"WE GOOD!" He shouts and you know he has at least a broke rib from that impact.

"This ends." You say quietly and go as fast as possible to the end of the beast and up it. Momentum carries you up above it's head and you are able to catch the fear in the beasts eyes when it understands just how fast ya are. With a fast motion you bring the spear down like a thunderbolt on to the great dragon carp bringing it to the ground briefly. As it lifts up you do a motion with your spear like wavin a flag.
-

"It is." Wakatelaho responded and the three did a few shots.

--

A salvo of plasma goes into the beast as it lets out a baleful wail that is combined with the sonic booms .

The beast flounders trapped on land, able to breath, but not able to take advantage of mobility.

As the shots are fired, the others work begins to show, the tactical work of Roboute, the strikes from Rawhiri and ya Da, the powerful gashes Tonga brought, and the various surgical strikes from the old man.

The beast is bleedin a wailin. The tone has changed.

The beast will feed the island.

A good day.

A few more shots and you realize- well- it may not be so easy to break down to cook.

"These things taste any good at this age?" You shout out and the Old Man gives a shrug.

"Whateva" You say as you walk up to the head of the beast that hasn't flailed.

Not because it doesn't have fight, but because it physically can't. It looks like the blasts from the rail gun, along with some slices to key muscle groups make the thing snarl at ya, but unable to move.

"Maybe ya can finally find an end ta ya rage." You say. You give a killing blow, punching the spear deep into it's head. it's eyes rolling up. Ya almost tempted to spit on it. But it didn't have any choice in being this way. Dr. Stephens on the other hand-

"Ol man. We gonna have a talk about genetics, biology, and things like that." You say turnin to the old man.

"Good. I thought ya never ask." He says

"First things first lad, we should get what meat we can from this back to the island. After we get those poor lads." Ya da says pointing to the island.

"Can ya call ma, get a bigger GEV or a heavy carrier for it all. I think we gonna need more space for these lads." You say

"Aye, good idea, that way sword sharks won't be eaten our dinner, especially after all this work ya did, we all earned another name-" Rawhiri lets out a tsk and a tut interrupting ya old man

"NO NAMES IF GUNS ARE USED! YA WORDS RAVI!" Rawhiri says in a sharp snap that sounds like a personal spat. Your old man looks like he has thunder in his heart and like he is about to strangle Rawhiri. Then pauses and smirks.
>>
>>5468949
"Ya right I did mate. Don't wanna be a rubbish man and go back on my word. Otherwise ya'd have about 5 more names than I do, and every idiot with a heavy rifle'd have a name. Sorry if I seem a bit mad. It was a good fight otherwise, and no need to cloud a sunny day." Ya da says and Rawhiri nods, and gives a shaka.

"No worries bruv. We all happy with how much food this is." Rawhiri says

"Nah ya aint." The old man says sniffing it.

"What ya mean?"

"Meats poison. Y'all'd die or puke with hallucinations, start chokin and havin seizures and foamin at the mouth and maybe have a heart attack. Not even Rongo can save it. However- the fat, the oil, the bones the blood, all can be used. Even the scales are good to use. The meat could be used to chum up some meanies and keep em in the area, but this aint a meal unless ya want ya last one.hmmm" The Old Man says flicking some of the blood and examining a small hunk of flesh.

"Aya! Even Tukka gets the last laugh." Tonga says pulling off a scale, which could probably be used as a shield.

"Not quite." The old man says taking out a small device and pokin the beast and the bit of flesh after lookin it over and down.

"Whaddya mean?" Rawhiri asks

"The blood- is actually a pretty decent oil, it could be used to power a lot of what we have and as a heater oil and powerin some of the GEVS which would be pretty nice considering they'd fuel the one we don't have fuel for. The fat, is much the same, heater oil, if aged it could be a lard or fire starter. The Meat, has a lot of things in it that would, if I dehdryate it and turn it into powder, would be enough medicine for the whole planet at least as far as pain killers go, for at least 500 years. Though the bone, I need to research." The Old Man says with a quizzical expression.

"Sounds like a lot of work." Ya say

"For most ya, me, not much. It's a weeks work at worst." The Old Man says and then rolls his eyes lookin at somethin

"What now?" Ravi asks.

"Doc Stephens bein sloppy in some of the genetic editin." The Old Man says makin a teeth click noise you haven't heard before from him and Ya da's eyes widen shocked

"That bad Martin?"

"Oh it worse. Good for ya'll, but I'd a fire him for this kinda nonsense." The Ol Man says shakin his head.

"I never hear ya make that noise before Ol' Man." You say and he does a quick take.

"Huh. I guess ya never disappointed me. I guessin that's Rho" He says pointin to Roboute

"Robute Guilliman" Roboute says with an odd sort of salute the Old Man then responds with something similar which Roboute raises an eyebrow to and nods.

You realize you should go get the lads, but you need to go with someone, and ya can't really take too many.

"Da, Roboute." You motion to the skiff and they head over though they both seem a bit interested.

"Ol man." You say and he looks at you

"Parently my sons have a genetic defect. Gonna need ya help." You say.

"Which sons? Have you and Meera-" And when the old man says this confusing question ya da practically teleports behind ya

"Son." Ya da says

"Ya"

"Ya sweet on Meera?" He asks in the tone he would normally give in an exceptionally grave circumstance and ya turn and look at him

"If ya sweet on someone ya better let ya Ma have a talk with her first. Ya also betta have givin, ESPECIALLY MEERA, a freakin propa gift. I know no sonuv mine gonna be a rubbish man who don't provide a father a proppa gift while courtin the daughter- ESPECIALLY MEERA." Ya Da says red in the face. And ya sigh.

"Da I haven't even kiss er yet." You say and he looks skeptically, roboute is snickering off in the distance, and the old man sighs

"WEW! Alright then we good. If she kisses ya have this immediately after." He says handing you a weird medicine bag.

"Wait- what?"

"The Crone swapped out Meerahs lip balm for something that is enchanted. I don't think it work with ya tattoos and what not"

"Wait? A man of science worried about a magic potion? My brother speaks very highly of you this seems abrubpt." Roboute points out and the old man scoffs

"Magic is real. However, there is a science to it. The lip balm isn't a magic potion, it's herbs that affect the mind and body that have properties that psychically altered enhancing them. Like the Goat Weed of the far island, I don't know if it'd work, but a young man should be able to choose who he cares about free of outside influence." The Old Man says to Roboute studying him carefully then he walks over

"I got a book ya might like I'll hand it to ya later." The Old Man says

"What is it called." Roboute asks

"Meditations By Marcus Aurelius." The Old Man says, and Ya think ya dad has that one, ya read it before, a good read, the Old Man hops in the skiff and so does ya dad followed by Roboute.

"Ya got her a gift though right?" Ya da asks

The trip to the island is short.

Painfully so. You have no idea what to say to those in a legion that are based off your genetic material.

These are ya sons. Well sort of, but they gonna view ya as a father none the less.

"Da what would ya say to a long lost son." You say and ya da looks over to ya.

"I wouldn't say nothin. I'd let them talk and hug em, then I'd get em dinner. Why ya have more than one gal ya haven't told me about?" He says.

"The crones warning. A legion of sons. These part of that legion." And he looks at you quizically.

"I'd say my answer a good one." Ya da says.

"Ya father speaks the truth. What I'd give and do just to listen to my son complain about his day one more time, and have a drink with him is something that'd make ya both shudder." The Old Man says as you get within visual distance where you can look at them and hear them as ya pull up.

-

"He has a lot of tattoos." Wakatelaho commented.

"Aye he does. His hair, it looks just like Arnoul De'saans."

"Don't be tellin him that his hair is just like a techno barbarians." Hika said and Wakatelaho let out a loud belly laugh.

"Lad if anyone could get away with callin the Legion Master somethin it's be the Gunny." Wakatelaho says

"You sayin I a kiss ass Master Chief Warrant Officer Wakatelaho?" The Gunnery Sergeant said in a formal tone that would ice the ocean nearby

"No Gunny, I aint saying you kiss his arse, You know exactly what I am sayin since we were both on that fookin titan together when he told us to charge." Wakatelaho said causing Hika to look confsued.

"You are never going to let me that down are you." The Gunny said with a smirk.

"I don't get it?" Hika said.

"You see, Gunny here shouted over the radio 'what crazy fuck thought this was a good idea?' when the legion master was right next to both of us when it was his idea." Wakatelaho said with a loud laugh.

"Then the legion master says 'I don't know but I hope he gets his arse shot.' knowing full well he was the one who ordered it, and not three minutes later one of the gun embankments on the titan singes his ass" Akamai says with a little smirk.

"Gentlemen. I think our candor may be lost on our father." Hika said and the two realized that the Primarch had touched down on the beach.

"My father listened to my stories as a kid." You say and you motion to ya da who looks a bit taken a back. "Why shouldn't I listen to yours." You say sitting down on one of the crates with a big ol' grin. And honestly they looked shocked, or would, if you could tell what was behind their ruddy helmets. The color of their armor, looks like sand and bronze, but there are many marks, and oddly- some odd markers that would look like tattoos.

Roboute hops off

"Ah brother! Meet my sons, or at least that's what I am told they are. Ya from the eleventh right?" You say and you can sense their surprise as Roboute steps on to the beach with the Old Man who starts to observe them carefully.

"Will I have sons like this I wonder?" He asks.

"I should think so." You say and ya da looks at you and smacks ya behind the head. And your sons draw their weapons at a supernatural speed

"SON! YA KIDS ARE ON AN ISLAND OFF THE COAST! WE CAN TELL STORIES ON THE WAY, THEY NEED SUPPA, AND THEY NEED THEY SHIP FIXED." Ya da points out and he aint wrong and you rub the back of your head before givin him a hug

"Aya. Aye da. Ya don't mind tellin me more on the way to the black will ya?" You say and they are still a bit silent and one exchanges out their arm for a grip.

So you do what a father is supposed to do.

You grab him by the grip firm like a good shake and ya bring him in for a hug.

"Take of ya helmets lads, ya almost home. We'll get the ship up an runnin in no time." You say as you see what is probably Arona and Kai heading to go save frank.

The men take their helmets off and they are shocked looking especially the one you hugged, who has long hair like yours and would honestly be a dead ringa for you. The next has more curled hair like Tybro or Tonga, but still long like yours and oddly, eyes like the Old Man. The final, and the one who was tellin the story takes of their helmet and they have a single sword as a face tattoo with a hairstyle that is honestly similar to Rawhiri's people, with bald on the sides but a long growth on the top in a line. A mohawk is it?

"Ah! I like ya ink!" Ya say and your da nods at and pats him on the back. And as you get on the skiff after the Old man puts down a beacon and activates the rescue tow alert they just look up at you and the one you hugged, who seems not only flummoxed but confused opens his mouth.

"My Primarch. I- We had this rehearsed, and, I am sorry I am failing it, I didn't realize it would be us. I am Master Chief Warrant Officer Kai Wakatelaho of the temerity wing of his Emperor's Iron Hearts." The man with the mohawk says and you can sense the very mana in the air around them
>>
>>5474335

"This is Master Gunnery Sergeant Kyrie Akami and Pilot Keanu Hika of the same." The Master Chief Warrant Officer, a very official and important sounding rank that you are not sure if ya ever heard of bein obtained by privateers, voice sounds- well off. He has some tears, but they are from some mixture of emotions. You look at ya da roboute, and the old man

"I'll take the rescue gev back with em." You say

"Wise." Ya da says and Roboute nods. You think about saying something but you pull up a crate and sit.

"We, our legion- your legion, has been eager to meet you. Your Sons- Kolinaisi Kaiko Wahthiri" And the fact he says your name perfectly

"We have waited for you. When Horus was found, when Fulgrim was found, when Russ was found, we hoped. When we as a legions assaulted a rogue titan we wished we had someone like you. When we heard the stories from the words of the Emperor of Mankind himself, when Arnoul De'Saan told us your story- our iron hearts felt a new strength. We have fought monsters like the one we just saw, we have slewn great foes, everyone of us, trying to live up to the names our legion has earned 'His Majesties Misfits, The Emperor's Brass Balls, The Temerity, His Traveling Circus. These names we fought for with tooth and nail, bolter and sword. We didn't know what to expect. When the crusade started- and we were told the emperor went earlier than expected- there was a belief, there was a feeling, that we could bring a brighter future to humanity." This Master Chief Wakatelaho said.

"Our legion, our people, were raised in what was known as the pacific, our ancesteral homelands where much like this. We rallied to your father, the emperor of mankind- when he called, our people, didn't have much, we had courage, some tech from old night, our fist, and our courage. When our planet had water, our people would ride the waves, dare volcanos, and brave the open ocean-" and at that instant something connects, you just feel it.

"When we heard, you came from- here-" The 'Master Gunnery Sergeant' holds his hands up "we felt it. Something- a drive, a push forward. In the crusade something was awakened. Each and every company, every space marine, fought that much harder. We were engineered to be ideal warriors, his angels of death- but we had to work harder. We had to give it all. We saved humans from xenos rule, we have saved the lives " The Master Gunnery Sergeant said

"We aren't the biggest legion. We aren't the emperor's children or the thousand sons- but the eleventh legion is a smaller legion-" This Pilot Keanu says
>>
>>5474337
"But we make up for it. Ingenuity, versatility, creativity, temerity and boldness, we brave and loyal few who heard the call and answered before there was even incentive, we suffered the hardest, but we have our humor, we have our flaws, but we stand just as tall as any other. We have brought new weapons to bare, the first legion to do so. Death and war came for us, a genetic flaw, and here we stand, and here we are father." The man puts on a nervous smile.

"We hope you are pleased with the efforts we have-" And you run up and hold them all, no mean feat.

"My father raised me to do my best. To be a good man, to work hard and help others. If you have done as you have said, you have honored my father by being good grandsons, and you have pleased me. I only hope that I can be as good of a father to you as mine was to me." You say as the tow skiff comes and the storm breeze blows in the distance. There is an air you feel something, something new, the dark skies, the storms, they don't bring fear. There is an air of possibility, the feeling that nothing is impossible, there is this optimism in the very air.

"There is a lot to show you. We need to get ya to somewhere for the night though, come on." You say hopin on to the skiff as it begins to interlock around the ship parts.

"Incredible! This technology is normally something we would only see on Mars!" The Gunnery Sergeant Akami says

"Son, ya aint seen nothin yet." You offer up.

The first thing you do- even before heading back, you pull out the comm.

"Epsilon." You say

"Yes Kappa?"

"I am reunited." You say

"With whom?"

"The eleventh."

"I wish I was there for you meeting your sons. Your adventures have been different from others. However I am in the middle of something." Epsilon says in an odd tone.

"Oh what's wrong?"

"I am in the middle of battle, there is a being called a Krork. Let's leave it at that, contact me in three days." Epsilon said.

"Aye. Speak to ya soon." You say

"That- Father that was the emperor of mankind. How could you communicate with him that-" And you hold up the comm

"What on Ter- An actual Universal Tachyon Communicator Device." The Gunnery Sergeant says and you smile and give a nod

"Found it in the ocean actually." You say as the ship is goes towards the black.

"There is a lot of activity- There- that ship." The Pilot says and all three seem dumbstruck. The truth is, the old mans ship is probably one of the more crazy ships ya have seen, if not the largest. Honestly the Fierce could fit in one of the bays. The Auditor, isn't even as big.

"Yeah, Old Man Martin's ship. Apparently mine now. It's so big I don't even know where to begin with it- I barely even knew what to do with the fierce."

"Father- that ship is bigger than The Buccephelous, the Emperor's own flagship by quite a bit, I have never heard of a ship like that." Master Chief Warrant Officer Wakatelaho says and The Gunnery Sergeant Nods Then the pilot smirks.

"I have. That is, if it's even conceivable by the bounds of human imagination One of the Three Victoriana, and if it's here that is the lost sister." Keanu Hika the pilot says and, that sounds right.

"Ya." You merely confirm, and your sons look at each other

"Father- Rogal Dorn, has the only thing even similar to this."

"Well we also have a hive city ship in the ocean not to far from here, the ship is space worthy." You say and one of them just snorts.

"Father you tell me that there are that many treasures on this planet?"

"Probably a lot more, I haven't really dealt too much with the other tribes, just our people and the Eire and the underwater hive, using technology we were able to get rid of the damage the dumpas did to the environment, but there is a lot to catalogue of the tech dumped and discovered."

"You haven't conquered your home world yet?" Wakatelaho asks.
>>
>>5477764

"Why? The polar tribes have no quarrel with my people, the swamp shoal has no quarrel except with themselves. I have to worry more about distribution of the resources- which is going to be the first thing I do when I get back- payin out the crew, and deliverin the booty to those who are part of our compact. With the booty present, assuming that I can deal with issue at hand, there will be enough resources, that I could give mokka to both them, and thus per tradition I would be a Great Man and War Chief, and the planet would be in a position where it is thriving, in harmony with nature and technology, not just gettin by on scraps." You say

"We wish to be with you for this journey." Wakatelaho says as the three of them nod.

"You wish to join me in the distributin of the loot to my crew." Ya say as dry as a Nucerian arena.

"Yes. It is important for us to know you- what lead you to be you- you are the youngest primarch discovered, probably because of how far out you are. We want to make sure you can be the best Primarch you can be." The Gunnery Sergeant says

"In the past day- even before meeting you, none of this was possible. In the past hour, it feels like anything is achievable and nothing is out of reach. You- you as in you- have a ship that is almost as big as two Gloriana's lined up, something thought long gone. Yet there it sits, on the homeworld of our primarch." The Pilot says causin Wakatelaho to nod.

"I still can't believe ya want to watch me do this." You say as the tow skiff makes land fall, as your 'sons' seem to be intrigued by this.

"Ahoy Pyg! Status on the goats and livestock ashore!" You shout over the comm

"Ahoy Cap! We are almost all offloaded including the knight and the new instruments and things that were build on the fab." UR says excitedly.

"You come ashore wit Nasi yet?" You ask

"Nah Cap. We still have to make sure that everything is offboarded. It's easier that way." UR responds.

"We'll see about that in a while." You see as multiple things are offloaded on to the isle via macro skiffs. You begin to go to near the beach which Jero Jerah has set up as a rally point.

"Ah! Ya made quick work of Tukka I hear tell!" Jerah says comin over to hug ya which ya respond in turn.

"We did thanks to these lads here. Apparently these are the sons of my legion." You say and Jerah looks over and scans them apprasingly,
>>
>>5477766
"Eh. I can see it." He says, your sons seem a bit confused by, the general reception they are getting, which is a combination of warmth and some confusion about who they are associated with. You quickly set up a skiff as the bounty and loot comes up that is aside from Jero Jerah's big mokka and what the gifts of the account were this time. The line up is quick, though Robute and his legion are last, his legion is honestly more shocked by your sons than anything. Once there is a line up ya do a quick roll call and do the bell toll for those chain breakers ya lost, with the occasional Jerah sayin "On the accounts other mission" or "Still on board." After about 30 minutes of this, ya do the initial shares. Unsurpisin, everybody has near the same amount with some outliers like yo-self (which fronted your share to pay for the rescue mission of Frank, Tybro, Charon, the legionares and the navigators) and Nasi (whoms tireless efforts the entire time have racked up his pay to being more than yours or Jerahs.

After the pay is divided up, you go to the distribution of to the crone and the big men that are already present, which actually turned out to be three besides ya da, Rawhiri, Chief Kai, and the most senior of the chiefs, Chief Etera whom smiles at ya. Next to the crone are four men in all black robes that hide there face and expressions, and honestly the crone seems a bit uneasy with how near he is to her. Actually everyone, especially ya honor guard look uneasy around him. Even Meerah and Erihapti seem a bit uneasy, though Erihapti seems more happy to see you and just sits next to your feet, confusing your 'sons.'

"Ya took the fight to the slavers and ya brought back a lot I see! More than just them Druka. Ya deal with a lot of Ganth?" He asks.

"Aya. We took on their main clients and liberated they planets Chief Etera. I also made sure to get what everyone needs even the crone." You say and the woman looks at you with murderous intent, but the old man merely steps in front of you and looks at her and she stops glarin.

"Kolinaisi Kaiko Wahtiri, there are men of the Eire whom are to be sworn to your cause, they offer this to you in perpetuity." She says.

"Do they?" You say looking at her as calm as the sea on a beautiful day. Then the figure in black reveals themselves to be a man with a massive and impressive (at least to you) set of muttonchops with fire red like Most of the islanders with a hair style very similar to Wakatelaho's 'Mohawk'. The man looks like he could put up a fight against even Tonga. Your sons look shocked, though the tattoos on him are very ornate, similar to yours, though the ones on his face are much more bizzare.
>>
>>5477768
"AYE YA BIG MAN, MY TRIBE HAS HAD ENOUGH OF THE CRONE AND HER HIDY TIDY WAYS AND HAVIN US CLOISTERED OFF ON OUR OWN WEE SHITE OF AN ISLE. YA OFFER ADVENTURE IN THE STARS AND OPPORTUNITY TO OCCASIONALLY COME TO SOMEWHERE LIKE THIS, WE BIND OURSELVES TO YA, WE CAME TO THIS VIA A VOTE. I AM THE CHIEF OF THE TALLISKERS, AND WE OFFER OUR FIRST BORN TO FIGHT ALONG SIDE YA AS LONG AS YA BE HAVIN US." He says and your sons are aghast and whispering. You then look over to them

"What's goin on?" You ask them

"THOSE ARE BLANKS. HOW DOES AN ISLE OF PSYKERS PRODUCE BLANKS. THIS IS A STATISTICAL ANOMLY THAT CANNOT BE NORMALLY ACCOUNTED FOR THROUGH BASIC HUMAN BIOLOGY." The Pilot says and you turn to the old man, who does, once again the same wolfish smile that would normally be associated with not knowing anything, but you know for certain the opposite is true.

"I accept ya offer. We gonna be busy soon." You say

"WE'D ALSO BE LIKIN TO SHA A TAT WITH YA." One of them says

"Eh?" You ask there accent rougher than any ya have heard in some time

"They want to get tattoos with you that are shared." One of the three, who is the shortest, and youngest says and then Meerah looks a bit shocked and mouths a single word you can't make out.

"Hello cousin." he says to Meerah then looks to you

"This is of course if you approve, since tattoos are very important to us, and this would be my first set." The 'cousin' of Meerah says. This is abnormal breach of tradition. Island Tattoos are sacred and carried out by the Master Tattooist who is trained by the old man, in this case it would be Keli'i whom did yours. So ya look to Chief Etera who looks at them, then at you, then to Keli'i whom nods. Chief Etera nods then looks to you and gives the most minute of gestures, which per local custom is about as much of an approval ya can get for such an odd request.

"Aye. It a bit unorthodox for someone who not do the rites, but ya seem to be up to it. Though if ya make a noise, well, Keli'i will tell ya what happens." Ya say and then your sons, do something extra ordinary.

"Father. We wish to have markings as they do. We wish to affirm our loyalty here and now, to you. We know we have not taken any trials, and we have not been on this planet long, but it would be our great honor to get tattoos that would be shared with you." They say and it just had to start rainin. Ya look at Chief Etera and he gives a much more polite nod. Probably because they ya 'sons' and swear loyalty to you.

"Aye." you say
>>
>>5477769

"Then we do that ceremony now, per tradition as there is a quorum among us and it is right. Ya get the tattoos now, Keli'i ya got the tools?" Chief Etera says and your da looks a bit upset- and ya know why. So ya clear ya throat. Loudly.

"Oh of course. Chief Ravi, Steward of The Black, the Volcano where soul can be put to rest, champion of the bitter shoals, do permit this ceremony on this isle?" Chief Etera asks in as polite a way as possible.

"Oh aye. Just give me a few minutes with my son an his sons first alright?" He asks and Chief Etera nods. Keli'i goes and gets his inks as Rongo starts the fire nearby. Jerah comes up to you and smiles

"Well ya know they are gonna be askin for what names ya picked after this right?"

"Ya." You say

"I hope ya got good ones. Any idea for tattoos?" He asks

What tattoo do you get to share with your sons?

> Write ins only.

What names do you choose for your deeds?

> You need three
>>
>>5477770
For the tattoos with our sons:

get a small patterned band around our arm, broken as needed to allow for the other tatoos present, with symbols of our family, our tribe and our planet.

The double axes, the twin headed eagle of the imperium, what Kol's personal shark symbol would be and old man martins symbol or symbols. We can also see about adding an important machine spirit symbol if we ask our AI freind for one.

The band is a connection, the arm is just convinient and easy to show off, and it can be spiraled to make sure theres enough room for everything and to add more if needed, which in future could be our marines squads, numbers, valours etc.

as for the names: might be a good idea to list the main big reasons for earning them, just so people can try match the zeigist/asthetics for each.

>What tattoo do you get to share with your sons?
I got 3 ideas:
Chains around our wrists that are broken, to represent the chainbreakers
A heart made of iron over where the heart is to represent their Name.
Someone riding a storm, because of the Storm Riders name idea we had back then to represent our powers and "birth".

>What names do you choose for your deeds?
I'll look through the archive to see what ideas we had before, I'll post it when I find them all
>>
>>5477971
Found an old post, probably mine, that had a list already done, so I'm recycling it.

Name: Kolinaisi / Kolinasi - means storm
Hunter name: Kaioko - sea with strong current
Man name: Whaitiri / Wahtiri - Maori personification of thunder

Keahilani - Heaven's fire
Anewa - To fall
Uira - Lightning
Tupuhi - Hurricane
Huripari - Cyclone
Taipori - Typhoon
Kai - Sea in Hawaiian, meal or food in Maori.
Kalimana - Power of the Ocean and Diamond
Haulani - Heavenly Ice, Royal ruler in Hawaiian
Alika - Of noble birth
Ailani - Chief, Leader
Harata - Free man
Kaholo - Nimble
Kaeo - Strong
>>

Found another thing

Childhood nickname: Keiki Mokupuni - Everyone's child
>>

I like harata

>Uira
>Harata
and
>Matua (it's maori for father)
>>

I'm choosing
>Harata
>Ailani
>Matua

Kolinaisi already got us the storm of our birth
Kaioko got us the sea for surfing and our home
And Whaitiri for our powers of lighting and thunder

So Harata for freeing people
Ailani for leading them and becoming Great Man
And Matua because of our sons
>>
I know this is a lot- I am going to probably let you guys vote through this before I put on the next post. If you guys need any help with naming or any additional things I will help.

What names do you choose for your deeds?
Kalimana - Power of the Ocean and Diamond
Makuakāne- Means father
Harata - Free man
simply cause I like there meaning's and as we have used Hawaiian for all the names so far figured I'd give the Hawaiian variant as as well
>>

>>5477879
Adding onto the small patterned brand idea, a tattoo could be like the masculine and personal version of the family quilt. I think we should work these into something that integrates into a current tat on Koli.

Current tatts:
> Half face, the design of your father with two daggers crossed marking your victory
> Shoulder/collarbone: Pattern of the hurricane, which you broke through

For the Eire:
I'm thinking because they're blanks, a man with an indistinct outline in a cloud. This would be on the bicep hooking into the tornado, like a man hiding next to it.

For sons:
I want a titan, in whatever titan their madlad legionmaster assaulted. That way we will be the maddadlad and can flex on Perturabo (again) later.

technically the old man. He looks a bit confused and looks at you, with his concerned green eyes. He knows what this mean. And you do too. Ya both stomp ya foot as ya supposed to when you doin this sort of thing in a ceremony out of respect, and ya can see why. Things are startin to get rowdy.

"Both you big men, have provided big mokka, both ya big men have proven be good men. When many big men have good men amongst them, some of them rise up and be great men. I agree with Chief Etera!" Rawhiri proclaims loudly. nd in recognition once again a foot stomp. Ya thankful ya doin it on the black sands. The shoals of Rawhiris home would be a bit more hard.

"Great Men, are the kind of men who take to the stars and bring back gifts for the planet selflessly and safely, and fight off the Ganth and the Drukharii by bringing the fight to them! Aye! I stand with Rawhiri and Chief Etera!" Chief Kai shouts. And ya stomp ya foot with Jerah in time. Ya both look at each other. This is really happening. Ya didn't expect it here on this humble return trip. And ya haven't done as much as Jerah.

"Great men do good deeds from their hearts. They have hearts of iron! nerves of steel! Strong in soul and character! They build for all the tribes, and give freely not just because tradition but because it's what's right! I stand tall in declaring them Great Men." You stomp ya foot for ya da. And then ya hear him. Better late than never. Ya stomp ya foot out of respect as he clear his throat, as does Jerah, cause Makatta of the floats make a distinct sound when he do it.

"And Great Men. Have Patience. And observe. But do all these things. Not because they great, but it's because what make them great. Sorry for bein late, I just had to observe that someone took care of Huhu Huhu Tukka. Another deed of great men, taking care of issues for the community and the people. I Concur." What say the other big men? They look at you two and before you open your mouth, Jerah kneels.

"I aint worthy of this. I don't need no honors. I just doin what was right. If anyone had my means they woulda done the same. The kid?
Ya. Call him a great man. He earned this honor fasta than anyone I can think of. Nah give em that crown, I don't deserve it" Jerah says almost sobbin. And the eyes turn to you.

"Jerah deserves this. Not me. I just built different. If anyone of ya had all that has been given to me, I am sure ya would have done it faster. I came outta space, Jerah, he earned this, me it's what I am supposed to be able to do. I aint deservin of this honor." You say from your knees. You look at Jerah who is lookin at ya too. Then Keli'i comes forward.

"And no Great Man every thinks they deserve it." He says and the old man nods

"Motion of chiefs carries. Ya two out voted. Ya Great Men now. So act like it. Get up offa ya knees." Makatta says pattin ya on the back.
>>

THAT WAS OUT OF ORDER.
READ THIS FIRST
"Harata. Ailani. Matua." You utter and the big men nod.

"Great names. For a great man.. Jack Jero Jerah-Green Eyes Hakatupa Dan-Dani Avidullah ya names." Chief Etera says and you look over at Jero-Jera who seems as perplexed as you by that. Great man? They can't be sayin that now. Even if-

"Aye! Great Names for a great man! Moke. Kepanu." He shouts. And ya stomp and he looks confused and he seems to wonder what the hell is goin on.

"Great names for Great Men." Chief Etera says and Jerah looks flummoxed. He had to have been thinkin it. If someone was gunna be a great man it was the guy who prevented famine multiple times, Killed Mad Jack, and the first captain to go to the stars since-

--

Then read this
--

"I heard I am given a bunch of tattoos, what am I doin?" Keli'i asks.

"Same you give me, to these men, with me. We all gettin an iron heart. Right here." You say pounding ya chest where ya sternum is.

"Aye. Kinda hard to make an Iron Heart tattoo, but I think I can manage. Ya know the rules, Kolinaisi get me the materials by sunset. Oh an Jerah, ya gettin one too, what ya want?"

"I aint gettin a heart tattoo, I already got one of those for a lady I lost, just make me a tattoo with that creatures head." He says pointing to what is known as a bull

"Why that?"

"Cause they aint common and it looks fierce." Jera says and ya chuckle.

"Alright lads we got a little trip, we gotta go get some plants from the far island to help with the tattoos." Ya say and then a hand grabs yours. It's Meerahs hand. And she looks at you, with all the honor guard around her. And ya father looks a little flustered

"Son ya got that taken care of yet?" He says in a sharp tone as you realize he is lookin at Meerahs old man. Oh. Ya hut, which before you left you stored a cache of extremely helpful weapons and items for ya da just in case, is literally just a few seconds away. You dive inside grab the fanciest lookin pistol and a bag of seeds you cultivated of the exotic black fruit. Ya dart back and the only person more impressed lookin than ya da is ya sons who are whispering something about ya bein the fast as the Emperor himself.

"Aye Father." Ya say and ya grab Meerahs hand, per tradition, then approach the father and hand the fancy pistol (which you now realize is a disintegrator of some really good quality) and the seed. He takes and looks at you for a moment.
>>
>>5480678
"Aye. Ya can court my daughter. Just wish I would have met ya before everyone went into space, though my brother speaks high enough of ya. Carlan couldn't stop talkin ya praises. It seems you live up to them. So Aye, the man who helped my community by rediscovering the knights factory, I'd imagine he'd be a smart match for my lovely and brilliant daughter." He says.

"Thank you." Ya politely say. Now, if you want to officially kiss or court Meerah ya can, though the fact that ya sons look more lost than a shark on a space ship and the crone has begun with the mad eye twitchin makes ya wonder what ya did.

"Kolinaisi, child- go do what Keli'i asked, show them around the island and take the pretty lady with ya. We'll have ya discussion after that" The old man says

"Father- we have more questions" Wakatelaho says

"I reckon I probably have more." You say and Meerah giggles a little too loud as Erihapti bounds over to you

"Come on let's go get the ink ingredients." You say

This may or may not be lore building. So you may or may not want to be careful
>> Go to the far end, like last time. The best plants for this are there in significant quality, that way everyone can get a tattoo, despite the customs for this being extremely complicated and the Eire folks and ya sons shouldn't technically be gettin these

>> No need to complicate this too much, the near edge should have the right plants that Keli'i can use in this scenario seeing as he can give tattoos and it's his call. You just can't do it properly because that would mean subjecting them to the snipe hunt that is getting the flowers for the tattoos in a really short period of time and they have no idea what the customs for it are

>> For this peculiar situation, PROPERLY DOING THIS, you have to go to the top of the black pick the flowers growing around the edge, and bring those back, due to not only it being ya sons first tattoo but because it's your first tattoos after big man ceremony since it's a group tattoo, they all have to get the big man tattoos. You will also have to explain the customs of this and the tradition of pickin these flowers

>> Although, Technically, you could go to the volcano get the flowers from the black yourself, and instruct them to pick things from the base of the volcano- as it would still be proper and appropriate for all parties involved. Ya still will have to teach them the customs for this

>> Unless ya consider ya a great man now- perish the thought- They can go get the plants from the base of the black. YOU on the other hand have to actually go, probably with Jerah since he is one too now, actually to get the really special white goat flowers that grow INSIDE the actual volcano. Funny fact though, it's almost a completely straight drop to black lava. So ya gonna need climbin gear

And it ate my edits too! Thanks for pointing that out!

It should read as follows!

"I am getting some bands done up for us, like a broken chain, with emblems and designs for each of us uniquely." Kolinaisi said

"That's a bit complex for my taste bruh, but I will see what ya can do. Ya know what to go do- now Get." Keli'i said before looking to Jerah

"Oi! Jerah, you want a crazy band tattoo too?"

"Nay mate, I got bands for the ships I captured., which I should get done up again- nay make me one of those." Jerah says pointing to a male cow- a bull.

"Why do you want one of those?"

"I just like the look of it." Jerah says

Since I scrapped everything, I can't remember what I going with it.
What I do remember is a rough outline: A deldar noble gets exiled out, taking over a gang and then seeing that he could get more powerful working as a middle man between all the factions then just trying to muscle in. Then he call in all his favors when the rival that got him kicked out usurps the throne, because the house was weakened, and expand then his Commoraugh trading operation now that he has the capability to capture slaves directly. Instead of trying to capture in mass, the house becomes famous for acquiring specialty products, and accepting any kind of payment. He calls himself the Prince, because princeling was an insult other gangs used, and he decided to turn it into a point of pride.
And then there would be a reveal that one of the cults he allied with to get revenge was the cult of the Black Heart, in case we don't cause their collapse by ruining their ganth deal, and the minor noble house survives until Vect's rise and the change to the kabal system. The Prince would serve a niche, wasn't powerful enough to rival him, and would be easy enough to keep track of due to an ease of infiltrating the lower ranks.
Also there would be a right hand deldar that was the Prince's enforcer, with the title of the Duke. The only member of the original gang that survived, and being odd for having loyalty to the Prince, or the closest thing a deldar can feel to loyalty.

+Lorgar+

"How is this a religion? The only reason they follow you Erebus is because you offer them an outlet! Bread and Circus. You take, and take and take. Right now- you take no doubt tithes to give to who? Your gods? What use do the gods need of all this if they are all powerful?" Lorgar began.

The debate, as far as could be seen lasted. Lorgar was funny. Charismatic. Topical. As Lorgar turned to face the crowd one last time, to maybe, maybe save the fool Kor Phaeron's life- Erebus approached with a knife and thunder cracked from a Jezail.

Erebus fell to the ground.

00--000

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The schemer screamed.

"EREBUS CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO DIE. HE SHALL LIVE." and the festering one, the bringer of plagues agreed with tzeentch. The two in a rare show of unity, acted together. They with the slightest movement sacrificed quite a bit to save the one crucial piece. The youngest seeing an opportunity moved a free piece. And the eldest cared not from whence the blood flowed. He had no care for the Death of this peace. He saw it move again. Something was distorting the table. It wasn't the hateful pretender. It wasn't the mysterious light.

The Eldest looked at his progress and continued on his path.

--00---

"You cannot just die. You do not get to be a martyr of stupidity. You will see that good can come from anywhere. No more deaths." Lorgar said, saving the life of Erebus, propping him up. And something changed.

Or did it? Erebus didn't notice.

Lorgar hurried as fast as he could escorting Kor Phaeron, through the crowd he hurried to the rendevous point where his friend stood next to the most ridiculous get away vehicle

"Camels?" Lorgar asked cynically as he helped Kor Phaeron into the cart.

"They will work! You just hide in the back under the tarp it's big enough nobody will notice while I hurry you out of town!" He said

"But we have it- your and my pieces, match for the ship?"

"They do my friend! Though we need to hurry to get back to the circle. If we do it maybe we can actually make it before the days of rest." His friend spoke

"You just want to hear me speak poetry," Lorgar said

"No I just want you to get in the cart!" His friend spoke and lorgar obliged.

The black hole. That's what the men called it. Your sons were worried about it the second it came into view. The planet was pitch black.
"Iskander. Do you sense anything?" Magnus asked.

"Nothing. Just void. Yet there are readings of some life. Some dark soul-less life. Our scouts felt unease that is impossible for them to describe. We were tempted to send a powerful attack, but any attempt of psykerism or psykana fails. I am actually very worried for the me."

"We are scholar warriors. We seek more knowledge than sorcery. Tell the men to study battle drill, strategy, combat, get the others, so I can explain what shall be done." Magnus said.

Every since Kolinaisi told him of the things he found in the warp, the research he talked to his father about and the knowledge ate at him.

"You and those kolinaisi have told are the only ones that know. You can tell your sons. Do not tell any brother save those that know. One day we will be free of these warp entities. These monsters. But it requires strength, silence, and wisdom. You have all three my son, use them."

The men assembled around Magnus and he looked unto them.

"We will not use a single spell. Not use a single talent other than to enhacnce physical force and mental might, and only at discretion." Magnus said and the gathered sons looked upon him

"I know that this is dangerous. I have had much to consider the past few weeks and days. I have realized, now that the process of wisdom and learning is an ongoing process. It is something that can just be achieved. It is something that must be constantly strived for, a never ending battle. Here we stand at the precipice of what could be our finest hour, and our greatest battle, or our worst calamity. This is the battel great strategists avoid. Here we stand at a literal abyss. A planet that we cannot discern the sentient life, other than it is not human. We know the resources of this system are necessary. We have scouted every other planet for life. This is it. What armies we have, can stand. We have stood against larger forces. Though we few in number, we will overcome this. We were created for this. We are more than our psychic talents." Magnus said.

"Fulgrim! However- we think they also called for Horus." Saul Tarvitz, captain of the tenth company shouted in an alert tone. Fulgrim looked up from the sculpture that was being created and pondered.

"Alright. The way this works for you lot minus Jerah-" You say looking at Jerah who rolls his eyes realizing what he has to do and puts his hand to his face realizing how this was gonna be

"I'll grab some rope mate." Jerah says wandering off.

"There are specific flowers and plants you need to gather, around the top ring of that." You say pointing to the large volcano.

"And ya be doin?" One of the Eire men asks

"Jerah's gettin the rope. We gotta go inside it, cause we are getting more tattoos than ya."

"Wait what?" Your sons asks.

"There is a specific tribal tattoo that Great Men get on their back, though it's not publically known unless a great man is livin. So the only who knows is Keli'i who knows all tattoos and their meanings." You say as Jerah returns with a few bundles of rope.

"Aya. We don't even know what goofy tattoo we gettin. I aint ever met a great man, so I never seen their tatt." Jera says, and you shrug. You just hope it's not something too weird.

" It a moai ya think? Maybe a Tiki? Those ones are not gotten specifically, even by big men." you ask and Jerah sighs.

"Why? " one of your sons, Akumai asks.

"Eh, ask Keli'i if ya can have one. If let's ya, then you know it's not." Jerah says

"Ya but nobody ever asks because it's" You are about to say then Jerah looks back at ya

"Because nobody does mate. It's like some weird bogeyman- Don't ask about gettin a tiki or moai tattoo, don't fight a man with manafire on his weapon, don't sing the fourth chorus of Ol Chariot as it's supposed to be, Mate I fought and killed Mad Jack with Manafire on his weapon and I sang the fourth Chorus of Ol Chariot- I think Keli'i probably don't care. It aint like where if you don't accept the gift of a pod of stoats when they come ashore and don't take it." Jerah says

"And what pray tell is that?" Wakatelaho asks

"So stoats are these big furry long critters like the one that follows Kolinaisi around ya? Well they occasionally come to shore with gifts. If you don't take the gift, they get really nasty and start makin problems around the beach. That's why a 'Stoat Moka' is somethin ya gotta just bare up and take. Though nobody done a stoat mokka since ya dad been a big man. I imagine ol Johan is the last person to actually get a stoat mokka." Jerah ponders and your sons look even more confused.

You walk for a while until ya cross the land bridge to the volcano part of the island. It's a small shoal that is now land due to the tide. The men of the Eire look pensive, till one of them does an odd set of noises, and hand gestures at it.

"Oi. What if that thing errupts?" One of the Eire men asks and jerah cringes and winces

"Well then we all die." You say flatly and your sons look at you a bit shocked.

"Does it errupt?" One of the other Eiremen asks and you decide to start walking towards it.

"Thing is, one of the more scary phrases on the isle is if the black turns white. See it occasionally has a kind of erruption, some black lava comes out, it cools, it makes good paint and tar for ships as well as buildin material. Don't use it too long it gets ya sick. The Tattoos of it, are used for certain island traditions and people, not many get volcano tatts, because they extrapainful and the black is so deep it looks a bit unnatural on the skin. The lava the stones, the plants they all turn black by being near it. Fruit that turns black is usually delicious unless ya a witch. However-" Jerah looks over to you

"If the legend be true, and something switches inside the Volcano, it turns a blindin white and errupts, then very bad things happen." You say

"That sounds like superstitions." Wakatelaho says and Jerah nods. So for a brief demonstration, and it takes a bit of effort and channelin from ya pocket scanner you are able cause ya tatts to switch to white, and ya sons looked shocked as you free mana outward.

"It aint. The ink ya gettin, is made up of plants from the volcano that have the same chemical from the volcano. The lava is the same color, now how much do ya know about geology my sons?" You ask and they seem a bit confused.

"You are saying, that the core of the planet, is made out of that stone created from the volcano, and if something were to activate it you think it would cause a planet ending erruption?" Wakatelaho asks.

"Aye." Jerah says

"Shame. Many good people are here, not to mention the once forgotten extinct flora and fauna. The fact that nature is so predominant here, is amazing." Akimai says as you reach the base

"Aye that it is. Just grab as much as ya can, cause the tattoo is complex. If it aint enough- Keli'i will probably just dip into his reserves and be angry about it. Though ya do need enough to at least start our art of the band and broken chains. So ya gonna to grab a lot." You say and ya look at Jerah who sighs.

"What about you two." Meerah's cousin asks

"We are Great Men, so per legend and tradition we gotta go get the Ablunu Flower. It's black an white. Great men get some stark white tattoo that's menacing." Jerah says.

"I thought ya never seen one?" You ask

"Yeah but the custom is that the Great Man's Tattoo is Menacin and Great as they is." Jerah says.

Keli'i the tattooist walked over to the old man

"So ya aint usin ya glama anymore eh. Shame, ya old form look a lot more wisened." Keli'i spoke

"Aya. And now ladies are gonna be gunnin for me now too when I got too much to do. What ya want friend and pupil?" Old Man Martin, the last living great man asked.

"I need to see ya tattoo that ya hide with ya glama, cause I aint seein it now."

"Ahh yah. Hold on a minute." The old man says than stops

"Wait- ya really forgot what the great man tattoo is?" The old man asks shocked.

"Naw mate just want to get it right it's a special tattoo and I wanna sketch it first."

"It's supposed to be by memory." The old man says

"And I remember it bein like this." Keli'i quickly sketched in the sand and the old man did a few head nods then a cringe.

"Wha"

"Is that really how ya remember it?"

"Aya! Ya made me look at it every day for three months while I made ya coffee!"

"Ya Ya. I remember, yeesh. I think I maya mess up, I glad ya aint done any great man tatts." The old man said revealing the full extent of his form, which had a distinct lack of facial tattoos. But many- many others.

What is the tattoo of the great man?

>> Write in's only.

but some suggestions to maybe help

>> A trident facing up on the sternum

but with a large sun and Terra(looking like our Terra now)in the middle of it in the background upon a sea of stars instead of water, the boat would be the same as in the picture

I'm imagining that when Koli lights up his tats the image moves as if they are sailing with a blazing sun behind them

It might be contrararian but I like the idea of a yinyang symbol with flaming radiant sun and bubbling water and on either side, separated by a shark.
After all, Jerah did say it would be menacing and great.

Along those lines yeah, but I was thinking more of a dynamic image like my own poor effort. The shark wouldn't necessarily need to be in side-profile if you're able to work on it in more detail.

Sharks don't bend like that, so that was the best I could do. I tried some different thing they they looked even worse.
I eventually ended up getting kinda fond of the retarded shark though.

True yes.
Regardless, I've had another go because I like the idea and Old Man says he wants art
but he never said how bad it could be :^)

Just realized that the image exported cutting off part of the left side.
This is the second time it happens and I have no idea why.

It looks like there is some consensus. I will try to get the last thing in tonight before the next thread, which will mostly be lore building, certain paths happening and me trying not to be an idiot.

As the Vengeful Spirit sped towards De'lormosa, Horus thought about his brothers and the future. He prepared his crew. There was one breach left to cross, and Fulgrim was going to meet this other brother. Most curious. He wondered about the campaign of Magnus. He raced towards the final planet before De'lormosa.

The Khrave, their fight was one of the most challenging he had encountered yet.

Fulgrim's new attitude was something interesting. His eagerness seemed more in the interest of his brothers, and the well being of his sons.

The Crusade had certainly taken a pivot. At first the unspoken and hinted at thought, the crusade went too early. The age of primarchs as they were found was often younger than desired, though experiences varied. Then there was a brief pause. It felt like Magnus would be the last. There was a hard line into ultima segmentum, it felt like forever since Rogal Dorn had been found. Magnus was just getting into his own it felt.

Then there was word: Caliban- and other rumors.

It ignited something. The crusade picked up. Now the first breach into ultima segmentum. And the emperor had said discovered, four more primarchs.

Ironically the eleventh legion, seemed well suited to what little information on their primarch they had. They pushed deeper into the sector than anyone, as they often had. Some called them the Temerity. Another nickname was the Emperors Phantoms. Largely because getting in touch with them was just as hard as contacting the mythical creatures, and how they always seemed to be able to get past any defense. Granted they weren't siege or defensive masters- they were just highly unorthodox. The few times they assisted his legion, they lived up to their various names.

He sat alone.

And then it appeared. A being of stark white, existing and not. Like a figure lost in the rain, stripped of reality and yet real. It's voice powerful at one time and yet not. it existed as if it were fighting against reality itself only partially visible in partial lines.

"HORUS NERGUI LUPERCAL" The being said it's voice powerful and yet silent. Could it be psykerism? Horus looked carefully and readied himself glancing skeptically, yet it knew his first name. So he stood.

"HEAR ME!" Horus didn't speak and gave a glance, holding his sword lightly.

"I COME NOT TO DESTROY YOU THOUGH I SHOULD I COME TO WARN YOU." The thing said.

"What are you?" Horus said calmly.

"I AM. AND YET I AM NOT. I AM BUT A GHOST OF CHANCE. SO HEAR ME. MY TIME IS SHORT AND I HAVE TRAVELED THE WIDEST GAPS AGAINST THE HARSHEST CURRENT." The being spoke.

"Then speak." Horus said.

And so- it spoke.

"I COME TO GIVE YOU WARNING. YOU- WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE. A PATH WILL BE LAID BEFORE YOU AND YET A CHANCE FOR A DIFFERENT ROAD HAS BEEN MADE. ONE HAS DIED, YOU MAY LIVE. SEE THE SIGNS, THE INTERREX. THEY WILL HOLD THE KEY. DO NOT LET ELEVENTH SEEK THE TOMB. THE PATH HAS CHANGED. REMEMBER YOUR FATHER. YOU CAN SAVE HIM." The being then started to fade

"Speak clearly. Answer me this."

I think there's only one thing that a Great Man can swear by as something sacred to every tribe.
> The Volcano of the Black, and the White Flower within.

>>5489362
Oh sheeeet, is this the Time Wizards? It just might be. Can't say I blame them; dicking around with the clock doesn't end well for anybody.
> Who died so I may live?

I'm goofing around with some more ideas for the monsters of De'lormosa and the surrounding system, and I was wondering; do we want to stick with the general 'Water World' theme, or go whole hog and have Real Weird Shit(tm)?

I say stick with water world for De'lormosa itself, for the surrounding
system go with what you feel is right

also I remember QM talking about a total number of beasties on De'lormosa, but how many was it
I remember we got a eel, shark, orca, the leviathan is a man of iron, and a dragon carp so far
