Saiyans. Known throughout the universe as the warrior race, their power and combat prowess proved invaluable in the Covenant's downfall. And with the largest threat to the PTO destroyed, their remnants scattered across space, the universe has been united under one banner. Peace reigns across the galaxy, under the rule of Lord Freeza, Emperor of the Universe. But not all wish it to be this way. Remnants of those who were conquered are gathering in the shadows, increasing their power, and plotting their revenge. Despite this newfound age of peace swiftly spreading across the stars, there are those who would seek its end. Will you be able to stop them, or shall the universe once more be plunged into the fires of war?

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest! This story takes place in an alternate timeline within the greater Dragonball EU. You the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Berserker Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power, widely recognized across the universe as Freeza's close friend and confidant, not to mention his right hand man and General of his forces. From humble beginnings on the now long gone Planet Vegeta, Karn has become the pride of his people, and their greatest champion.

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Karn, along with the Cold Clan confronted the Zoldyck family about their son Milluki's treason and attempted murder, Zeno Zoldyck decided to call for trial by combat. However, the assassin clan attempted to end Karn, King Cold, and the others' lives while Freeza fought the Zoldyck patriarch. After dispatching the help, some of whom were extremely powerful as well as the oldest Zoldyck, Karn finally captured Milluki once more and returned to the combat site. Where Freeza, no longer playing around, executed both Zeno and Silva Zoldyck. Found guilty by his grandfather's loss, Milluki was executed by Karn and Meloka before they went home. After several weeks of peace, it was finally time for Chaya's departure with the attack force to Planet Yardrat, Karn choosing to accompany her along with the other fighters after asking the emperor and King Cold if the planet could be his if they surrendered. After getting the affirmative, Karn departed New Salda with his oldest daughter, oldest twins, and dozens of other warriors.

As we rejoin Karn, it has been months since the Lucrehulk departed New Salda. Every day you trained, not only yourself but Chaya and the twins as well. Gravity training in the mornings, Djem So practice under the ancient Sith Lord Darth Bane at noon, then sparring against her in the evenings. Spaced out with training the twins Tatsu and Tomi, testing your defenses against their unique style of attack, and taking an Instant Transmission trip back home to spar with the other kids daily.

What training had you focused with Chaya on?
>Teaching her Instant Transmission so she could keep up with her opponent, should he try and flee
>Trying to help her control her newfound semi-divine power, ensuring she doesn't harm herself with it
>Sparring against you with your Energy Body active for Su Ma training, making sure she stays mobile and never sits still in a fight to wear her opponent down faster
>Extreme gravity sparring, pushing her physically past her limits daily so she won't ever break in a normal fight

Day after day, you worked with your daughter on learning to control her newfound power. The divine energy she's somehow learned to tap into with her rage, as Towa warned, could eat away at her soul. So you'd spent day after day working with her, helping Chaya focus and channel her power more properly. Despite your inability to feel divine ki, you'd still had her transform daily into this new form. At first she could only hold it for a minute or two at most before reverting. But as the weeks turn to months, training with her daily, she continued to improve. By the end of the trip, she had grown to the point of being able to handle the form for an entire hour while sparring against you.

“Not bad kiddo. I think we can call it for the day.” you tell her at the end of the hour, powering down yourself. She does as well, smile wide on her face at her newfound control. “You ready for tomorrow?”
“Hell yeah, Soba's not gonna know what hit 'em!” your daughter says confidently. “This time he's not even gonna last five minutes!”
”General Karn, to the bridge immediately.” Arctus's voice calls out over the ship's pa system, you immediately raising your right hand to your forehead. With not even a second's thought, thanks to the time you'd spent practicing the Instant Transmission against your daughter, you teleporting directly to Arctus's side. “Ah, there you are.”

“What's the problem?” you ask, Arctus frowning and pointing to a display that makes no sense to you. “What are you looking at.”
“Right. This is one of the deep-range scouters.” he explains, then points to a dot moving very fast. “And this is Lord Freeza. He's rapidly approaching, and should be crashing down on Planet Yardrat the same time we land.”
“Okay, and?” you ask, not sure where he's going with this. But then Arctus gives you a serious look, and says, “He's not supposed to have left King Cold's place for another year. If he shows up, and he and his father throw down, Planet Yardrat might not survive. I've already tried reaching out to him, but I can't connect either telepathically or through official channels. I need you to talk to him and get him to go back before King Cold shows up pissed off.”

Well?
>Telepathically reach out to Freeza and ask what's going on
>Telepathically tell Freeza to go back before he gets in even greater trouble with his father
>Instant Transmission out to Freeza and bring him to the ship, he can ride down with you all as you approach the planet

“I'll get to the bottom of this.” you tell Arctus, then reach out telepathically to Freeza. “Hey, is that you heading towards us?”
“Ah, Karn. Yes, I am on my way towards Planet Yardrat as well.” he replies to you, surprise bleeding through the link. “I'm surprised that you could sense me from so far out.”
“I can't, not yet. Arctus picked you up with the scouters.” you tell him. “And he's worried that King Cold is going to be coming after you to drag you back.”
“A valid worry, but that's not a concern.” Freeza tells you confidently. “After all, I'm still there with my father.”

“Wait, what?” you ask him, confused. “What do you mean?”
“I may or may not have copied your Multiform technique.” Freeza says slyly, you sensing his smugness through the telepathic link. “So, while I'm coming to watch your daughter's rematch, I'll still be with my father as well.”
“Did you sneak out?” you ask, almost hearing his laugh through the link.
“Of course not, Father knows where I'm going.” he replies casually. “I will NOT allow that time coward bastard Trunks to interfere with her fight again. Not after what he did last time. If he shows his face, I shall tear it off and feed it to him.”

“You'll have to wait in line.” you reply, clenching a fist. “He died on me last time before I was finished with him.”
“Ohoho! Well then, I hope for that moron's sake he decides to stay home this time.” Freeza replies. “I'll see you there tomorrow, I hope for your daughter's sake she has been training.”
“Oh, she most certainly has.” you reply. “Just wait, you'll see the results of our training then.”
“I am looking forward to it. See you there, Karn.” he says, ending the telepathic link. For a moment you'd thought he'd wanted to say something else, but instead ended the connection. You wonder what he wanted to say, then turn back to Arctus.

“Well?” he asks, you quickly filling him in on what he told you. As you explain, you can see his body visibly relax, Arctus sighing out in relief. “Good. Well, that's one disaster averted.”

That issue solved, you left his command center, teleporting back home to spend some time training with your other children. When you returned back to the Lucrehulk, teleporting to the same room as the twins, you see them doing something unusual.

“-Uuuuuuuuu!” they call out together, shuffling towards each other while swinging their arms around overhead. “SION! HAAA!”

Their movements mirror each others' perfectly, the two swinging their fingers together and striking a perfect pose. You watch from behind, the two stopping the odd pose after a second or two and standing up to their full height.

“What're you all doing?” you ask them, the twins turning to face you. “What was that?”
“It's a technique we saw.” Tatsu and Tomi say simultaneously. Tatsu takes his scouter off, and holds it up. After pressing a few buttons, he starts projecting something on the wall. “On our first mission, the two who could combine their minds like us. They also could do this.”

You watch as the scouter starts playing a video, two beings wearing baggy white pants, black open vests and grey armbands do the same movements the twins were doing. But as their fingers touch, a blinding light fills the scouter. As it fades, the two warriors have merged into one, the scouter's powerlevel reading still going up. The single being's power is easily a dozen if not more times stronger than the two individuals who were there, surprising you.

“Oh? That looks familiar...” you say, then after a moment remember where you've seen that before. “Hang on. That's the technique those Time Patrollers use to merge bodies.”
“We were curious, if we master this technique, would Tomitsu have the body?” Tatsu and Tomi ask. “Or would we make ANOTHER unique mind, as they do?”

Well? What do you think would happen?
>Tomitsu would probably have its own body at that point, that makes sense to you
>You aren't sure, but you're interested to find out once they master that fusion trick
>Tell them they should ask Ace next time you all go back to Towa's place, as a former Time Patroller he might know more about how it works

>>5484570
It stands to reason we should ask Ace about certain techniques as well when we get a chance.
Between him and Cell, I'm pretty sure they have 99% of the Time Patrol's playbook committed to memory.
>>
>>5484575
While that's almost certainly true, I was hoping to make them more dedicated to practicing it instead of relying on someone else for guidance.
>>
>>5484581
I don't think they're going to be any less dedicated given their unique circumstances.
I just think Ace would probably be able to point them in the right direction so they don't have to spend more time mastering the technique than absolutely necessary.
Diligent training is good and all, but having a road map and a goal to work towards are just as important.

“I'm not sure, but I think that Ace would be the one to ask next time we head over to Towa's place.” you tell the twins seriously, remembering back to your brief time there. “As a former Time Patroller, he might know a lot more about how it works. Especially being around those fusions as much as he was. Even children as young as Caulifla can use fusion there.”
“Oh, really?” they ask, genuinely surprised by what you tell them. “Hmmm. We'll have to ask next time.”

After this you went off to bed, resting up for the battle tomorrow. Your sleep was uneventful, nothing had snuck aboard the ship, and you'd enjoyed a rather peaceful night. But now it's time to get to work, and as you don your armor, your daughter rushes up into your room.

“Hey, are you ready?” Chaya asks, the door sliding open automatically as she rushes up. “It's almost time!”
“I'll be there when-” you start, your daughter immediately taking off again. You chuckle a bit to yourself, letting her run off while you continue getting ready. Then once you're armed and armored, you teleport to your daughter's side, appearing beside the landing craft by Chaya and Arctus. “Everyone here?”
“Just as soon as Radii shows up.” Chaya says, then a few seconds later you feel his ki approaching. You all turn, seeing the long-haired man flying over. He hasn't been slacking these past few months either, his base form surpassing Chaya's. “There you are. You ready?”

“Are you?” he replies, but instead of in a more lighthearted, teasing way, there is unexpected weight to his voice. Enough so that your daughter freezes for a moment, her expression becoming much more serious.
“Yeah. I'm not gonna lose today.” she says, a hint of anger in her voice now. “Not again.”
“Then let's go!” Arctus says, finishing his can off before climbing into the landing craft. “Everyone hold on, we're goin' in hot!”

Once you all are in the landing craft it lifts up off of the hanger floor, flying through one of the energy barriers and out into the void of space. It heads down directly towards the planet down below, you hanging onto the ceiling directly behind Freeza's cousin as the ship drops. As it begins heating up from entry, he then reaches out to you telepathically.

“So, do you think they'll actually surrender?”

“If they know what's good for them, they will.” you think back, watching the planet below growing larger and larger by the second. After a few seconds of silence inside the cab, the ship then breaks through the atmosphere, slowing down and giving you all a view of the planet below. You then turn to your daughter, calling over to her.

“So, do you know where Soba is? Or are we going to have to draw him out?” you ask her, your daughter smirking a bit.
“Oh no, he knows I'm here.” she replies, then stands up and walks over beside you. Studying the ground below, she then points out a clearing. “Go down there. He's waiting.”
“Roger roger, oh captain my captain!” Arctus replies sarcastically, angling the landing craft and descending down towards where Chaya'd pointed out. And, sure enough, as the craft draws closer to the ground, you see a group of maybe a dozen or two beings waiting. “Oh look, they sent a welcoming committee.”

“Full power, right from the start.” you hear your daughter mumble to herself, walking to the door as Arctus starts landing it. Before the ship's even touched down she's opened the hatch, leaping down to the planet below. Looks like its time.

Any last words of advice for your daughter, before this begins?
>Tell her that she's got this, to do what she trained to do and win

You watch your daughter's back as the landing vessel touches down to the ground, but before you can say anything suddenly you sense it: a MASSIVE powerlevel blitzing directly towards you all, and from the Yardratians' expressions they can sense it too. Your daughter explodes up into her Ascended form, bracing herself just as the golden aura blazes down towards the planet. The powerlevel crashes down with tremendous speed, yet doesn't land with enough force to crater the planet. In fact, Freeza barely touches the planet, not slamming full-force into the world. He rises up to his feet as the Yardratians all prepare to fight, but Lord Freeza isn't here to fight.

“Greetings, citizens of Planet Yardrat.” Freeza says, voice full of confidence. “I, Lord Freeza, have come to watch this battle between your champion and my general's daughter with my own eyes. So, which one of you is the 'Undefeated' warrior known as Soba?”
“I am.” a man says, stepping forward to the front of the group. He's built like a warrior, lean but muscular, as he stands before the other Yardratians. Freeza looks him over, then nods once to himself.
“You'll do.” the emperor says after a moment, then turns to your daughter. Again he looks the fighter up and down, nodding to himself again before walking off to the side. He takes maybe twenty steps away, then turns back around. “I shall officiate this fight. Unless there are any complaints?”

No one says anything in response to his declaration, Freeza then gesturing to both fighters to head towards each other. Chaya glances back, you taking the moment to give her words of encouragement.

“I'll watch your back kiddo, I won't let anyone interfere in your fight.” you tell her. “So you'd better use everything you've got to wins this!”
“I won't lose!” your daughter says confidently over her shoulder, aura blazing up around her. She then turns and starts walking forward towards her opponent. The Yardratians all start to say something in an unfamiliar language, probably their own as the Undefeated warrior steps towards your daughter.
“The rules for this fight will be simple. First one to die or surrender loses.” Freeza declares. “Any outside interference will be dealt with swiftly and brutally. Any questions?”

“HAAAAAAAA!!” Soba bellows, pale aura exploding out around him as his powerlevel suddenly surges. His body bulks up, armor shattering as it's unable to contain his expanding muscle mass. His power increases to nearly your own strength, which is just unfortunate. For him. “Show me the progress you've made these last months!”
“You can't win.” you reply, clenching your fists tightly as you dig deep. Not any further into the golden well of the Super Saiyan power within, but to something else. “HRRRYAAAAAAAA!!”

The power of everyone who believes in you, who puts their faith in you despite your one loss flows up into you from outside your body, filling your entire being with a power unlike any other you've ever wielded. Your golden energy starts being consumed by this power, but doesn't supplant it entirely. As if you're missing something to truly make this power your own. As your transformation concludes, you glance over to see Freeza smirking, then focus on Soba before you. Who doesn't seem to have lost any confidence, in fact seems more confident than before as he retakes his stance. No doubt no longer able to grasp your power, only able to sense your now-reduced 'normal' ki. But underestimating you could cost him his life.

“Both fighters ready?” Freeza asks, you both nodding without taking your eyes off of each other. He then throws his hand down fast enough to create a shock wave that cuts through the air between you both, shouting out. “BEGIN!”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cXO3mAe5aPQ

“HRRRAAAAAAA!!” you roar, swinging your right fist forward and firing one of your Ki Punch Blasts towards him. The warrior vanishes before impact, the rest of the Yardratians having leapt away the moment Freeza started the fight. Your blast soars past where they'd been standing, then with a thought throw your fingers up, redirecting the blast up into the sky. The instant you do, Soba reappears behind you. In the same moment you swing back with a left elbow. Your joint crashes against something, no doubt his hand, stopping your blow. As you look over your shoulder you see that he caught it with his left, right fist drawn back to slug you across the face.

“HAA!” he swings as you twist your entire body clockwise, dodging out around his punch while simultaneously driving your right elbow towards his head. But at the last second he vanishes once more, his Instant Transmission allowing him to dodge your counter.
“Tch!” you exclaim, sliding to a stop on the barren ground. Immediately his ki reappears behind you once more, seems like he didn't learn his lesson last time.

“Too obvious!” you shout, spinning with a powerful turning roundhouse kick. But as you turn, surprisingly he isn't actually there! “Wh-What?”

Your kick passes through what looks like an Afterimage, his ki faintly echoing from within it. You slide to a stop again, looking around only to see a dozen or so of these images with his ki signature faintly radiating from each of them. You can't tell which if any are the real one, or where he's going to come from next!

But what do you do?
>Brace yourself and wait for his attack, then as he hits you counter attack at full speed to catch him before he can teleport back away
>Explosive Wave, blow them all apart then rush in and attack the real one when he's revealed

“Nice trick.” you comment, crossing your arms and gathering your power. Then you unleash it out of you from all sides, your Explosive Wave blasting out from you and consuming the dozen or so images instantly as you throw out your hands with a roar. “HRAAAAA!”

The illusions are consumed, every trace of Soba's energy vaporized as your wave blows the fakes away. But the instant you end your technique, Soba reappears crouched in front of you with his right hand to his forehead and his left coated in his energy.

“Too slow.” Soba says, slamming his ki-clad fist square into your guts. It hits far harder than you'd expected, knocking you off your feet and sending you flying back. Flipping back once you land on your feet, sliding to a stop just in time to sense him reappear behind you. But as he does, again his illusions reappear surrounding you. Once more you cross your arms, preparing to fire off your Explosive Wave once more, but then you take another explosive heavy blow to the back. You're sent tumbling across the ground, getting your hands and feet underneath you then springing off the ground and taking to the air. But then the illusions below all disappear, reappearing around you once more.

“HYAAAAAH!” you roar again, once more firing off an Explosive Wave. The illusions are all destroyed, but this time Soba reappears a few feet above and off to your left side while firing a concentrated wave of ki directly at you. With only a moment to react you can't dodge, instead forced to cross your arms and block the heavy beam. It slams into you with tremendous power, scorching your body as it pushes you back. He keeps the beam going for several seconds, then when the attack finally ends Soba is gone once more. The next moment another dozen illusory Sobas reappear around you as you come to a terrifying realization: your power is dropping! “What the-?”

“Have you finally realized what's going on?” Soba says, his voice coming from somewhere behind you and sounding rather smug. You focus on your own energy instead of his, and realize that your power has been cut down. Not your Super Saiyan energy, but the divine power running throughout your body. It has been cut by nearly a third! And what's more, that energy you can feel fading away as it leaves the planet you're on, going off into space. “With every hit you take, I'll continue cutting your power down until you can no longer fight back. You can't win.”

Instead of being intimidated by his claims, you can't help but smirk instead. He's given away his trick, all you have to do to beat him is not get hit any more. Which is easier said than done, but you're not going to get your revenge against that bitch if you fall here. You WILL find a way to overcome this guy and prove yourself!

But how do you do that?
>Use your Daddy's Energy Body to tank his hits, wait until you get your chance then counterattack
>Switch up and focus on using the Su Ma technique to dodge and counter his every attack
>Unleash another Explosive Wave while also focusing on the blast you'd sent into the air before, redirect it at Soba the moment he reappears to take advantage of the opening

“You think this trick is enough to actually beat me?” you ask, switching your stance up. You lower your guard a bit, relaxing your body a bit more for ease of fluid movement. “I'm calling it now, you're not going to hit me again.”
“Quite confident, aren't we?” Soba asks, his voice coming from in from the illusion directly in front of you. “Do you really think you can beat me, much less without taking a hit?”

“If these two tricks are all you've learned over the past year, you're not gonna win.” you reply, feeling his fist entering your aura from behind. The instant it enters your energy you immediately twist your entire body clockwise around his fist, turning around to see the warrior's eyes widen in surprise as you spin around. With his right fist over-extended, not finding the resistance he'd expected, his jaw is wide open. Which you capitalize on with a powerful turning left straight, catching him square in the cheekbone.
“Gah?!” he exclaims, your heavy punch sending him spinning. Before the warrior can recover you go on the offensive, following up with a rising right knee to his jaw then flipping around in the air, firing a left front snap kick down towards the top of his head. But he raises his right to his forehead once more, disappearing just an instant just before your kick takes him on the top of the head.

“Tch.” you exhale, disappointed that your strike missed as you land back on your feet. Again you take the more relaxed stance as his illusions once more spring up all around you, your stump of a tail twitching once in anticipation. Reminding you of what all you'd lost here last time. Gritting your teeth, resolve renewed, you focus on every one of his faint energy signatures around you, readying yourself for the next attack. And you aren't left waiting long, as this time he attacks from above your right shoulder. Once again you sense his attack the moment he enters your blazing aura, immediately twisting while falling back away from his strike. As you fall backwards, you see his left fist punching through where your head was an instant ago. But this time his right hand is pressed to his forehead, no doubt ready to escape should you dodge again. But you're faster, he won't escape! “HYAAAAAA!!”

As you fall back you roar, firing up both feet and planting both heels square into Soba's guts. Your powerful kicks crash into him, the warrior wheezing as you knock all of the air from his body and send him flying back. Now's your chance! You flip back down feet-first onto the ground, kicking off a full power and blitzing the stunned fighter. You're going to end this right now!

“HAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, blitzing the winded fighter and slamming a heavy right cross to his jaw. But instead of firing a heavy, direct attack, you focus even more into a Su Ma beatdown. Using the momentum from your punch you twist your entire body counterclockwise, driving your left elbow into the base of his skull. Stopping his momentum and causing his power to flicker as you flip up and over him, flipping all the way around to drive your left knee square into his face. You feel something crack from the blow, and it isn't you.

“Gyaah!” he cries out, bringing his hands to his face as if by reflex as you keep your momentum going. Twisting your entire body clockwise, you bring your right heel around into a devastating roundhouse kick. Your heel crashes into his temple, sending Soba spinning in circles. You dash back in, closing the distance and firing off a powerful right uppercut to his guts. But right as your fist swings, once more the warrior disappears. A second later, his illusions all appear around you once more. But he doesn't immediately strike, seemingly waiting on you to make a move.

“What, got cold feet already? If you're ready to surrender, I'll certainly a-” you start, but as you're speaking, his ki solidifies above you. His powerlevel spikes as he no doubt is preparing another beam attack. So you don't give him the chance to use it, immediately kicking off the ground directly up at him. You close the distance, swinging your left in a straight right at his sternum. But as you do, suddenly his energy vanishes once more. Only to reappear below you, and you realize you've been had. Well, so much for not getting hit again.

“BEGONE!!” Soba roars, his power exploding as everything around you goes white.

I just want to make sure these Yardrat morons surrender so that we don't have to purge them.

Really want to learn that Spirit Fission technique for fucking with Gogeta and Vegetto.

As for Chaya, not sure how I want this fight to end. If she loses - provided she doesn't throw a shit-fit and go to bits mentally - it could keep her hyper-motivated to push, and better herself, and overcome him. (As opposed to going back to the Dreadzone, overcoming Tanya soon-ish, and then becoming complacent again).
>>
>>5485192
Probably depends on how the fight goes.
Spirit Fission is useful, as we've seen today against Chaya's divine power.
I already have three endings planned. We'll see what happens.
>>
>>5485192
Forget spirit fission, having mastery over one's spirit and ki is a massive boom in itself. Not only could we finally consistently use LSS3 without the ritual, but we can probably craft our own Kaioken equivalent or the myriad of other techniques we could fashion through refined ki control.

You’re still gonna need the ritual to draw out the full power of the form. You haven’t even drawn upon HALF of it yet.

Ha.

Not that dramatic a shift. And it doesn’t do what you’re thinking, head out of gutter
>>
>>5485304
>>
>>5485304
Let me rephrase that being able to use it all consistently is a better move than stumbling into it until we get the ritual. Even if it ends up not being half of it yet, using a portion of it on command is really, really, REALLY good.

>>5485251

Just wait a goddamn minute. How did I miss this earlier? I thought they were training on past versions of us. How are they boxing with a version of Meloka who can go Super Saiyan God? Did they just go to one of the many alt-timelines we accidentally create all the time?

>How did I miss this earlier? I thought they were training on past versions of us.
And this is why you always read the AGE at the top of the epilogue. Tells you when events occur. That one was a POST Battle of Gods Karn and Meloka.
>>
>>5485628
Quick question, was it supposed to be Planet Vegeta in that epilogue?
>>
>>5485641
Yes, that was clearly an alt timeline Karn they were training against. One where Freeza didn't destroy Planet Vegeta as Beerus had wished.
>>
>>5485681
I was just surprised that it even had an atmosphere at that point.
>>
>>5485628
>And this is why you always read the AGE at the top of the epilogue. Tells you when events occur. That one was a POST Battle of Gods Karn and Meloka.

That’s what I get for skimming I suppose.

Although that brings me to my next question. If we’re still creating numerous alt-timelines just by existing in defiance of Fate, why doesn’t our Towa have an entire [s]harem[/s] army of Karns? Surely we aren’t the only Karn who would want to help her. Especially since a number of Karns would have diverged sometime after Maza was born.
>>
Hey I just had a striking thought, what happened of Towa's boss? Dumplin, right? I feel like Mechikabura kinda... replaced him, after we saw the epilogue where Trunks and Chronoa met up with the former Demon God.
>>
>>5485714
Thanks to certain technological terraforming innovations it would survive. If for no other reason than Freeza defying Beerus on behalf of HIS Saiyans.
>>5485727
Every choice you have made has caused branching timelines. Many have lead to Karn's death, which ended those branches from diverging further.

“OH SHI-!” you exclaim as his attack consumes you. The blast is tremendous, power burning away at you as it launches you. You don't try and resist the surging might, instead letting the blast carry you higher and higher into the atmosphere. Then, as the gravity lessens, you're able to roll off the beam, allowing it to blaze past without taking further damage. “Haaah, haaaah. So much for not taking another hit.”

Shaking your head to refocus on the goal, you once more lock on to Soba's energy. But before flying down, you have an idea. He isn't able to sense the divine energy you gather from everyone across the universe who believes in you, so you decide to set a trap for later. Just in case. Focusing your might you create an orb of ki twice the size of your own body, radiating with the unusual-feeling divine power and you leave it there in the air. Then you blitz back down towards the ground, slamming down on your feet, right knee, and right hand palm-down. Raising yourself up to your full height you smirk at him, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand.

“Okay, that one was clever, I'll give you that.” you say, lowering your slightly bloody hand. “But I'm still going to win this.”
“N-No way.” he says, you realizing he's still panting, clearly still recovering from firing off his attack. Looks like he was banking on that one to finish you off.
“Did you really think a little attack like THAT would be enough to stop me?” you tease, getting your first taste of fear from him this fight. He'd not been very worried up until this point, confident in his training to overcome you. But now that faith has been cracked, you getting only a whiff of fear from him. But it's enough to feel good, fueling you to further break him. “If that's all the power you can muster, you'd be better off simply surrendering.”

“Like hell. I'll quit.” he says between heaving breaths, clearly intending to continue despite his powerlevel being sharply cut. He may have cut your own energy with his power reversing trick he used earlier, but now his power's dropped by more than your own. He then crosses his arms, you sensing his power changing. You know what's coming, he's about to turn giant.

“Get back!” you shout to your dad, Raditz, your siblings and the others watching the fight, leaping back away from Soba as well to give him room to transform. Your dad moves without hesitation, grabbing the twins and flying a few dozen yards back and landing atop the ship you'd rode down. Everyone else gets clear as well as the Yardratian's body begins expanding, growing to the size of an Oozaru in only a few moments. Once the warrior's reached his full height he sighs out, then looks down at you. “Now we shall see who is stronger, child. You, or I!”

“BRING IT!” you reply, retaking your fighting stance as your partially-divine aura blazes gold and blue up around you. The damage he did to your total ki earlier hasn't recovered yet, leaving you at less than full power. But the damage your body has taken isn't much, you're still in better shape than you were last time you'd fought him. And from what you can tell, even with his growth, you're still the stronger of the two of you.

“HAAA!” Soba bellows, kicking his foot forward. His giant appendage cuts through the ground, you leaping into the air to avoid the massive blow. As you take to the air, he then twists and fires off a giant left punch right at your everything. But despite not losing speed, his giant body now telegraphs his every attack to the point you can easily Su Ma around it, using a front flip to go over his hand and land on his wrist. So, you start running up his arm, heading for his head. But he won't make it that easy, drawing his right hand up to his left shoulder, then sweeping it down his arm in an effort to swat you away. You run around his arm, getting towards the edge of his oncoming hand then kick off, spinning around his giant right hand. Then, as it passes you, you land on the back of his middle finger, and kick off straight towards his face! “Wha-!”

“HYAAAAAAAA!!” you bellow, rocketing towards him. Before Soba can effectively react you've closed the distance, swinging a heavy right into his giant cheekbone. Your fist lands with a tremendous crash, you feeling his bones crack as your strike knocks his head sideways.
“KYUH!” he exclaims, staggering back from the force of the blow. You try and take advantage of his dropped guard, rushing in once more. But as you do, he abandons his balance, kicking off the ground and firing a wild left turning kick towards your general area. Adjusting your course slightly, you then flip up and over his giant shin, grabbing onto his pants as they sail past. As his kick continues you crouch against his leg, readying yourself, then at the right moment kick off. Lining up your launch, you kick off of his left calf only to rocket town at his right knee.

“HRRYAAAAAAA!!” you roar, firing a full-power flying kick down into the side of his right knee. Which you hear crack from the impact, Soba once more crying out in pain. No longer able to support his weight on that leg he crashes to the ground, leaving himself wide open. So you go for a finisher, flying up into the air and throwing your hands up, preparing for your Big Finisher. But as you do, suddenly you remember back to Tanya detonating the attack before you could finish it, and how much damage it could do to you, so you cancel that idea. You learned from your mistakes of that day. But right as you do, suddenly every fiber of your being screams out that you're in danger!

You turn, seeing nothing but a giant fist headed right for you. In that moment of distraction, Soba had teleported around behind you, and is now swinging at you with his massive fist! However, such a thing is still easily dodged, you allowing yourself to fall and flip forward, narrowly flying under the massive hit. Flipping around you dash up a bit, landing on his wrist, and kick off of it. Flying down straight towards his guts! He sees you coming and tries to move, to turn his body away, but it's no use. You fly down, channeling power into both fists and slam both Ki Punches square into his lower gut. Both blasts explode against him, the giant crying out in pain once more as he doubles over in pain. But you're not done yet!

“Got you now!” you shout, flying up and landing a devastating left uppercut clean to his chin. Your powerful strike snaps his head backwards as his jaw crunches from the impact. Then you channel a tremendous amount of power into your right hand, preparing to fire your Champion Lance through him for the win. “THIS ENDS NO-Huh?”

But as you swing your fist forward, preparing to charge straight through him, once more he vanishes. Before you've even fully processed this, however, a massive force slams into your entire back!

“KYAAH!” you cry out as you're dragged down by the massive force, watching in incomprehension as his knee flies up to meet you. At the last second you realize what's about to happen, and try to get your legs underneath you to kick off of him, but it's too late. You are crushed between his hand and knee. Bones break, you screaming in pain as you are broken by the tremendous pressure and force. But the pain doesn't stop, except from your knees down as you realize what happened: your legs are broken. Through the pain you keep screaming, only realizing he's lifted his hand off your back when another force slams into your whole left side, breaking your arm as well as he flicks you off of his knee. You tumble uncontrollably through the air before crashing broken down to the ground, once again looking up as death approaches. This isn't the end for you, is it?

“Dammit. Is this really it?” you wonder to yourself, watching the giant form of Soba start stomping over towards you. “Was all of that training, these last eighteen months all for nothing?”
“You spent all that time running away, you'd better have something to show for it.” Raditz's words from the morning echo out in your head. Then you hear the words everyone else had told you as well before this fight started.
“C'mon big sis, you've got this! You won't get hurt like last time! I know you can do it!” Caulifla'd said eagerly, with her usual wide happy smile.
“We know you can win.” Tatsu and Tomi had said together.
“Be careful out there kid, come back to us in one piece.” Orlen had said after powering down the stream where you'd told your fans of the fight about to happen today after working out.
“You've grown stronger.” Freeza had thought to you, just before the fight. “Show me how much greater you are now.”
“I'll watch your back kiddo, I won't let anyone interfere in your fight.” Daddy had told you, his face serious. “So you'd better use everything you've got to win this!”

“I've done everything I can, but it wasn't good enough. I'm still just as weak as before.” you think to yourself, watching as the Yardratian raises his boot to stop you out. Just like before, when your Daddy had to save you then as well. But, had you? Have you used everything you've got, and still come up short?

NO!

You are NOT going out like this! You've trained far too hard to fall here! Your family is waiting for you to come back to them, your fans are all out there cheering you on, waiting to see you fight once more! You have too many people you can't afford to let down! You will NOT FALL HERE!

But what do you do?
>Unleash all of your rage, all of that despair and fear, release it all in a powerful storm of lighting
>Gather every bit of your ki into your Champion Lance once more, and drive it all the way up through his heart
>Use your telekinesis, empowered by your rage, and grab this man by the throat. Bring him to his knees, and don't stop until he's no longer breathing

Your emotions are running high, and remembering the words of the ancient Sith Lord Bane, realize you have all the tools you need to win this fight here and now. So you dive deep into your emotions, drawing them all up and channeling them deep into you. You feed the emotions into your rage, the heat of your fury consuming them all. You focus entirely on the massive being with his foot raised, ready to stop down upon you and end your life. But you're not the one dying today! You draw everything you've got from that fire, and with a roar unleash everything you've got.

“GRRRHYAAAAAAA!!!” you bellow, thrusting your right hand out towards him as you unleash the storm. Lightning explodes out from your fingertips, the electric storm engulfing the massive fighter. He screams out in agony, body violently spasming as your power courses through his body. Instead of stomping down on you he staggers back, dropping down to a knee. He keeps screaming as your lightning starts burning his flesh, your own fingertips smoking as well. But a little bit of pain won't stop you, in fact it only further fuels your wrath! “DIIIEEEEEEE!!”

“AIIIIIEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAH!” he cries out in agony, body writing as he falls onto his back. But you don't stop, floating up off the ground to keep pouring everything you've got out into the storm. The scars on your right arm begin glowing with azure light, the lightning you're channeling from deep within now tracing the path of the bolts that damaged you before. Your fingertips turn black from the sheer amount of power you're blasting out, but you don't quit. Even as the pressure in your head from sustaining such an effort blooms into incapacitating pain you don't quit, the fires of your rage burning away that agony to fuel your attack as well. But then, just as your mind reaches the breaking point, you finally end the attack. Before whatever broke in your mind before, last time you'd channeled this much Dark Side power can tear again, you end the attack and drop to the ground.

And everything goes quiet.

You can't hear anything above the sounds of you catching your breath, holding yourself up on your knees and one good arm, left dangling uselessly from where he'd broken it. Your fingertips are scorched black up to the first knuckle on each, the smell of burned flesh sickeningly good as your stomach grumbles for something to eat after that exertion. But as you lay there, you notice the illumination on your right arm's scars is still there, slowly fading away. Once it's gone you lift your head up towards Soba, ready to see what sort of shape he's in. And to your surprise he's no longer massive. He's shrunk back down to his more normal size, several Yardratians rushing over to check him out. But then Freeza speaks up, stopping them.

“The fight is not yet over.” Freeza declares, the group turning and looking up to see the emperor of the universe glaring down at them. “Until he surrenders or dies were the terms.”
“But he can't surrender in this state!” one objects, Freeza nonchalantly firing a Death Beam through his knee and dropping the man to the ground. “Gah!”
“You will not interfere. Mercy or death are his opponent's options, not yours.” he tells the lot, then turns to you. “Well, Chaya? What will it be?”

-PERSPECTIVE SHIFT, BACK TO KARN-

“Woah.” you mutter aloud, watching as your daughter's storm of dark lightning consumes the large fighter. You've not seen a storm this powerful, even when you'd first fought the shade of the ancient Sith yourself he couldn't command this much destructive force.
“She's quite gifted in channeling her emotions.” he tells you as she continues laying on the pressure despite the Yardratian falling to his back. You watch in silence as she continues cooking him, his body charring from the devastating attack. Then after what feels like a solid minute it's over, your daughter ending the attack and dropping to the ground. She's done it, she's won! You're tempted to rush over to her, but before you can Freeza throws a glance your way, shaking his head. At the same time the Yardratians all rush over to the rapidly shrinking form of their champion, Freeza casually flying over to them. You can't quite hear what they say, but he then fires a beam into one of them, dropping him to the ground.

“You will not interfere. Mercy or death are his opponent's options, not yours.” he tells them, projecting his voice loud enough for you to hear it as well. He then turns to Chaya and offers her the choice. “Well, Chaya? What will it be?”

She looks down at the Yardratian lying unconscious on the ground, then glances back towards you and everyone else gathered. Clearly in pain, probably not even aware of how tightly her jaw is clenched. If you're going to try and influence her decision, now's the time.

What do you do?

>Telepathically tell her that she's won, and to take what she came here for

As she looks back at you, you reach out to your daughter telepathically.

“Make the decision you're going to make kiddo.” you tell her. “But remember that it's going to stick with you. Make a decision you can live with.”

As she listens to your message, you see the 'high' from the battle quickly wearing off. She winces as the pain from the injuries starts registering, but she gives you a small nod before turning back towards the downed warrior. As she looks at him, she levels her right hand at his chest, golden energy gathered in her palm. But with her partially divine form it feels different, you can't quite judge how much power she's actually using. Then she fires the orb down, it strikes Soba the formerly-Undefeated square in the chest. But instead of exploding or blasting a hole in him, his body absorbs the energy, trailing ki suddenly stabilizing. Wait, is she...Is she saving him?

“Hey, Cauli!” your daugher suddenly calls, looking back towards you all. “Mind coming over here and helping him out?”
“S-Sure!” your youngest present daughter calls out, summoning her Stand as she flies over. Freeza, now with his own Stand watches intently as Caulifla's Triumph begins healing the Yardratian warrior with its tears. She then turns to her oldest sister, who holds out a hand and shakes her head. Caulifla moves over beside Freeza as the downed fighter stirs, eyes opening and looking up to see your daughter.

“Wh-I'm alive?” he asks, sounding genuinely confused. “How...?”
“It would seem that Chaya has chosen not to kill you but has given you the chance to surrender.” Freeza tells him, the warrior looking himself over. He then notices his condition is fine, while Chaya's legs are still clearly broken while she hovers before him. “However, the fight is not yet over. Until one of you surrenders, or dies, this fight continues.”
“And you didn't heal yourself, but me....” Soba says, voice trailing off as he begins chuckling to himself. “I held that title for so long, but I suppose it's over. I give in, you win.”

Then the warrior takes off the faded Dreadzone belt he'd been wearing under his sash, holding it up to your daughter. Who takes it for a moment while you fly over to congratulate her for her win. But before you can say anything, she drops it back down on the downed fighter, who looks stunned. What is she doing?

“Thanks, but I don't need that.” she tells him, voice confident despite her still clearly being in pain.
“But, I thought you challenged me so you could challenge the Champion?” Soba asks, clearly confused by this development. You're equally as confused, but your daughter's still smiling. For a moment you think she's turning delirious from the pain, but then she continues speaking.

“I proved to myself that I could beat you, the Undefeated Dreadzone Champion. I deserved my title I held before.” she tells him, wincing again as one of her many broken bones no doubt throbs in agony. “But I don't need your belt to go back. I'm done taking shortcuts and easy paths. I'm gonna go back to Dreadzone and fight my way back to the top. I'll earn my place once again with my own hands, just like the first time. When I reclaim my title, no one will be able to contest my claim.”

“I think you've got what it takes to be a great champion, child.” Soba says, offering her his hand. Which she takes, helping the now-fully healed warrior back up to his feet. But as he holds her hand, suddenly his aura begins engulfing her. She watches curiously as his ki merges with hers, and her body begins healing! Her burned fingers, broken limbs, everything is quickly restored to perfect condition.
“Woah, you guys can heal people too?!” Caulifla shouts out excitedly as Soba's energy returns to his own body, the warrior retracting his hand as Chaya looks herself over in shock for several seconds. “That's so cool!”
“We have many techniques. And, as promised, we submit.” Soba says, turning to face Lord Freeza. “Our world is yours, to do with as you will. However, I do have one request.”

“Oh?” Freeza asks, head tilting a bit curiously. “I'm curious, do go on.”
“Please allow us to continue our way of life.” Soba begs him, yet doesn't grovel. “Let us continue our development of Spirit Control. And in exchange, we shall teach you and yours our ways.”
“Very well. I had no intentions of ruling your people directly, as it was her father who asked for your people to be spared.” Freeza says, gesturing to you. “You'll find my friend and top general a hard but fair man.”
“We are in your care.” he says, bowing to you for several seconds before rising. “However, I would like to make a selfish request. Not of you, but of your daughter.”

He then turns to her, again offering her the belt to her clear surprise.

“Chi-no. Chaya. From one former champion to another, please. Allow me to go with you.” he says, surprising you all. Especially Chaya. “Let me be your second, and witness your rise to Champion first hand. Take up this worn old belt, and give it new life. You have the makings of a great warrior, and I wish to see just how far you can go. What do you say?”

Everyone turns to Chaya, who clearly thinks his words over. But you can tell her answer before her thoughts have even finishes, smirking as she smiles and holds out her hand. He smiles and takes her hand in his own, you seeing him try and cover a wince as she squeezes.

“I'll take you along, on one condition.” she says, a moment of confusion flickering over his face. “In return, you have to teach me everything you know.”
“Gladly.” he replies, the two nodding once in understanding. You still aren't sure about the whole 'Dreadzone Champion' thing or why she wants it so badly, but at the end of the day it's her life to live. As long as she's strong enough to live her life how she sees fit, determined enough to not let anyone stop her, and strong enough to fight off those who'd take her freedom away, then you'll support your daughter's dreams too.

It looks like we don't have to worry about Chaya anymore. She's a good kid who has proven that she's indeed grown up. And she will be in good care with the former undefeated champion as a mentor. As I said before I have no qualms about her wanting to be champion, just only that she doesn't become complacent and doesn't allow herself to keep pushing her limits or fight sloppily. It's fine if she wins her fights without going full strength or taking the quickest yet effective means to achieve it. But it doesn't change the fact she needs both strengths of body and mind to win the way she wants.

Also, I don't think having her being both the champion and a vagabond traveling the universe seeking out strong opponents to fight has to be mutually exclusive. Especially if she learns instant transmission or how to breathe in space.

How hard can we hack the quest progression if we abuse Okira's newfound mastery of her Stand? Would she be able to, for example... Manipulate the odds of a certain recessive gene coming into play during conceivement? So she could say something like "More Legendary/Berserk Saiyans will be born." without it being a direct manipulation of living organisms, instead affecting the CHANCE for pre-existing genes to take hold? Or how about "Daddy's sword can cut through anything.", that seems relatively tame and yet would make us even more deadlier and capable of punching up than we already are.
>>
>>5487565
Sounds kind of gay, desu. Wouldn't you rather win by just going mean and green, and punching cunts really hard, until they either start being less cunt-y or start being more dead?
>>
>>5487565
Not so sure about the first part with the genes, seems like a bit of a stretch.
Would the sword be affected by that? I don't know, but we could always try.

>>
>>5487565
Do you want her to walk in fucking right after secks to say that?

>>
>>5487565
>So she could say something like "More Legendary/Berserk Saiyans will be born." without it being a direct manipulation of living organisms, instead affecting the CHANCE for pre-existing genes to take hold?
That is a manipulation of living organisms. As for affecting other things, there is a limit to her power. Especially in regards to something that vaguely worded. Congratulations, now the sword INCLUDING THE HANDLE cut through everything it touches.
She has to be careful with her power, as Towa has shown her.
>>
>>5487565
Dude, Karn's sword already -can- cut through anything. It's just a matter of swinging hard enough. Sure it may destroy the sword on contact but at 99.99999999999999999999999% the speed of light anything that blade touches is also getting absolutely fucked.

Boom.
>>
>>5487565
Since Okira’s stand doesn’t duplicate the living, she would do super well hanging with our scientists.
She can say shit like “This building has a supercomputer with an advanced AI on it that wants to help us understand and advance technology!” or “This warehouse is full of the most effective possible healing pods”.
Not the best worded shit but you get the idea. She could even do the old “This notebook is filled with information on the location of all of the PTO’s enemies that pose a serious threat to it.” or “This notebook has the perfect training plan for Broly on it”
Or even a cheeky “This piece of paper teleports between me and grandpa tatsu when folded in half”
>>
>>5487696
I think there’s a big misunderstanding on HOW her power works. Looks like I might be changing out my intermission for this week.
>>
you know considering how okira's (although I probably wouldn't bring her) stand works it would be pretty funny if she used it during the Tournament of power to be just like "And a hole forms beneath my opponents feet throwing them into the abyss". since unless you got wings or something flight is not allowed. the only way I can think of getting out of that (without flight) is either being near the edge and climbing your way up, instant transmission, or using multiform and having it throw you back up.

I think that everyone is missing in relation to Okira's powers is that she has a defined limit and isn't at all omnipotent when it comes to manipulation of STRICTLY abiotic matter. So while she could turn a stone tablet into a gram of cheese, making a planet disappear or creating dragonballs is outside of her power. Also, you can't be cheeky with Imagine Dragon, it has no power over ANYTHING that is or was a living thing, including rogue proteins and DNA like viruses or dead schmucks. Since atoms are a part of both living and nonliving things, it could be reasonable to assume that Okira's power works down to the molecular level. Also, I personally believe that she isn't limited just by her own powerlevel, but by her sense of scale as well. It's called "Imagine Dragon" for a reason. If she thought of the strongest weapon that could "cut through anything", she would be limited by her knowledge of what "anything" is. And if she and her stand were to say "ONE COIN IS NOW 5 BILLION COINS", there would just be lots and lots of coins and not quite 5 billion, because it's a tall order for a toddler to fathom 5 billion of anything, and I don't think anyone here can imagine 5 billion coins either. And most damning is the fact that she doesn't quite understand the implications of some of her wishes since she's like, 4, I think. If she wished for a wooden house to be as big as a rocket, it would collapse in on itself because it can't support its own weight. If she wished for the gravity chamber to be stronger or have more gravity, she could accidentally make a black hole and kill everyone. If she wished that a baseball she threw traveled at the speed of light, the baseball would shred itself. And if that baseball was given immunity to air friction and miraculously didn't burn itself to pieces, it would decimate the unlucky city it collides with.

TL;DR: She isnt a wish dragon, geniuses. If anything, she's a low-end genie that makes wishes with their own drawbacks.
>>

Bingo. It is limited by not only what she can comprehend, but what she can articulate with language as well. Which is why Raven has been teaching her more reading than the other kids at her age.

We'll get to have fun with Biggest Green after we've gotten a handle on Berserker 3 post-Ritual. Our heart will be able to handle it then (it's prob only a 25% stronger form than Berserker 3, assuming it keeps to a similar ratio to Golden Oozaru (x500) : SS3 (x400))
>>
Hey GD, I was reading through the pastebin and had an idea.
In regards to New Salda's "Children", I remember them being a big help during the siege, but I have to question their efficacy now with the caliber of opponents that would even dare to cause a ruckus on New Salda nowadays.
Would it be possible for Karn to lend some of his power to New Salda so she can create a stronger construct?

There's nothing stopping us REALLY, but it was decided many ages ago that we would stick to the "godly" beserker tree. Multi classing at this stage of the journey is unviable too. It'd take exponentially longer to master BOTH trees than it would to just stick to one.

Oh, I know. We're certainly not going to bother devoting any attention to trying to master Emerald oozaru. It's just that when it's so easy to just TAKE the form (even if only for a short bit; it's just a matter of looking into the powerball for a couple of moments), I'm sure we'll end up doing it at least a couple of times, just out of curiosity.

It's a very good bit of art, but I'm wary seeing her dressed like Gohan. Don't want her ending up anywhere near that useless and lazy.
>>
>>5488597
I don't understand how Gohan didn't just multitask his training and school life. He just became so neutered in the Cell arc for no reason. He was a complete unit and bro willingly throwing hands with aliens hellbent on killing him and his entire family in the Saiyan and Frieza arcs, but suddenly he didn't want to fight Cell? Goku bailing him out and dying as a result should have sobered him and at the very least take the duty of defending Earth like his father did with some degree seriousness.

This is off-topic anyways so I'll drop the case

Honestly though I just drew that after some imagining, nothing else

>>5488230
>and if Beserker SSJ4 was actually green. The last one still stings.
Biggest failure of SDBH honestly. All the creative freedom they have, and all the bullshit they pull yet don’t give Broly green fur? A sham.
>>5488236
Not bad logic, however you’ve already had the “SS3” version. And used it in battle twice. But that’s only a fraction of what true Berserker 3/Berserker God/whatever you want to call it whenever you do the ritual is capable of.
>>5488248
Instead of dozens New Salda could put all that power into one. Or could recombine fully with you into the Empowered Champion form you were shown before.
Not really. You could try empowering a created construct, but it wouldn’t work very well.
>>5488274
A well-reasoned argument. But it’s just a shame, giving Broly the exact same form just bigger instead of something different.
>>5488592
A great concept piece.
>>5488597
She’s swerved the complacency path. Mainly due to the scars she’ll carry forever reminding her what happened last time she did, but visible consequences are great lessons.
>>5488615
>He was a complete unit and bro willingly throwing hands with aliens hellbent on killing him and his entire family in the Saiyan and Frieza arcs, but suddenly he didn't want to fight Cell?
Did you and I watch/read the same series? Gohan never wanted to fight, he only ever stepped in on his own when he was blindingly mad.
>Goku bailing him out and dying as a result should have sobered him and at the very least take the duty of defending Earth like his father did with some degree seriousness.
This is absolutely right though. I don’t know about you, but your FATHER dying because you didn’t stop the bad guy is trauma that would absolutely bring about character change.

>>
>>5488819

What else is open for him? I sure hope he won't follow in his dad's footsteps just this once, because there being *two* Berserker 3/Gods/Whatevers will probably cut the possible power pool.

>>
>>5488903
I feel like thats in the realm of possibility, but only when she gets stronger and knows where the portal opens to. She can't just rip a hole in space to a random place. And if she could, she'd have to be EXTREMELY careful with it. Dont want to accidentally open a portal to the surface of a sun and burn to a crisp in its intense heat and pressure.
>>
>>5488834
It shouldn’t. If I remember the old GD lore for Berserker god, their divinity is based on the faith they have in themselves, not the faith others have in them like normal gods.
>>
>>5488834
Who knows? Maybe he finds his own path, one in which he fully separates himself from his anger? Maybe he goes the Primal Berserker path, or follows Karn’s path to become as like him as he can.
>>5488877
Terrifying. Freeza wouldn’t have his racial tree maxed, plus his Golden form would only(currently) be 4/10. But Meloka would have some interesting class choices.

>>5488896
>spoiler
If you mean like Chaya, that’s impossible as it channels divine power.
>>5488903
Yes and no. But the complications are wild, and are as risky as(according to my limited research after a previous discussion) the Warp. She would open a portal to a place she IMAGINES. Linking your realm inextricably to that place regardless of spacetime differences, and could result in immediate timeline axing by SKoT.
>>5488911
The problem with random portals, as New Salda has discovered since Raven took up the mantle of Guardian, is that whatever’s on the other side gets to come through.
>>5488949
Yes and no. Their faith in themselves/determination is fuel, but it is not DIVINE in nature. But something unnatural.
>>
>>5489076
Meloka has Broodwife as a class. And shank mastery.
>>
>>5489076
>and could result in immediate timeline axing by SKoT
You keep saying this, but isn't this timeline literally immune to that? There was that whole plotpoint of Towa having kids with Karn and anchoring her base in a well-hidden, untracable timeline so that Chronoa would be unable to erase us without extreme complications.
>>
>>5489111
Meloka would make for a literally divine Darkwraith desu. What with her propensity for shanking and literal backstabbing and a general lack of morals.and scruples.
>>
>>5489113
I think its the kamikaze option that the SKoT would risk since these hypothetical overpowered scenarios sound worse for her than the potential risk of deleting towa's timeline and fucking up the multiverse again. Towa's adultery exists as a check against the Time Patrol and prevents SKoT from doing whatever the fuck she wants, but its not a Get Out of Jail Free card. So we can get away with killing pink bitch a million times but we cant use Super Shenron to perma delete her before she says fuck it and presses the nuke button. but if we got her in a full nelson while we made the wish...
>>
>>5489111
That’s not a class.
>>5489113

No, there’s just the heavy cost of losing another timeline completely unrelated to your own if she does. But some threats simply warrant the collateral damage.
>>5489115
Ha!
>>5489129
Yes, she’d be playing russian roulette by deleting your timeline. Except instead of one loaded chamber, they’re all loaded chambers but pointing at a curtain. Nothing could be behind it, or she could accidentally axe some of her own critical allies.
>>
>>5489209

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 187 Intermission-

AGE 751, DREADZONE CHAMPION'S SUITE

“This 'Red Knight' is really starting to piss me off.” you mutter to yourself, watching the battle between her and your armor-switching Exterminator Erza duking it out. Her blood-red, full body plate armor stands in stark contrast to Erza's constantly switching armor and weapon sets, the black shield with the crimson chess knight on it withstanding everything the bustier woman can throw her way. Six months ago she just showed up out of nowhere, said she would be the one to take your title, and began a campaign where not a single battle was lost. With each fight her reputation has grown, and already there are rumblings of you stepping forth to fight her. But what really irks you are the woman's claims.

“Tanya Degurechaff is a false god!” she had proclaimed day one, drawing her blade and lifting it to the sky. “There is only one Lady of Strategy, one Grandmaster of the Lanceboard. And that is I, the Red Knight!”

“Arrogant bitch.” you mutter, slinking down further into your chair. You are Champion General Tanya Degurechaff, a salaryman-turned-soldier thanks to the influence of Being X. A creature you've never seen, yet wields an energy it claimed to be divine. And after stealing its power for yourself, you have to admit it doesn't feel like anything you've used before. When you'd mockingly pray to Being X for power in the past, you'd gotten less than a drop of a taste of the might of these powers. But since you donned the Type 101 and stole Being X's power for yourself, you have ascended to divinity as well.

With that power you were able to defeat the obscenely powerful Saiyan warrior child Chaya, the previous champion. After her defeat she disappeared, Vox warned you that she was going off to challenge some old champion who was never beaten, just fucked off one day to never be seen again. But you're not worried about that, if someone could avoid Vox's cameras for well over twenty years, there's no way that airhead is finding him. You're not THAT unlucky, right?

“Tanya. We've got a problem.” Vox calls you on the private channel, his face appearing in a small box in the bottom right corner of your screen. “We need to talk. In person.”
“On my way.” you reply, immediately rising and saluting him. The video box then vanishes off the screen, you sigh and turning to your longtime assistant. “Serebryakov, would you set the fight to record, then follow me?”

“O-Of course!” she replies, fingers flying over the keys as she sets the commands in. You don your ceremonial yet highly lethal sword, place your cap upon your head then throw your cloak over your shoulders, turning towards the door as she comes up behind you. The two of you walk out of the private study, a dozen of the elite battle-scarred robots that accompanied you during the Hive War all snap to attention. Then, before you can say anything, Visha begins issuing orders. “FORM UP! I want three in the air, reverse V. Four up front, two on each side and one at the back. I don't want any of these vultures getting within arm's reach of the general, understood?!”

“MA'AM!” they all shout, raising weapons then forming a defensive perimeter around you as you begin walking towards the outer door. While it does feel good not to have to be the one issuing the commands, you do feel that such a harsh tone doesn't fit your subordinate well at all. You wonder who she's trying to imitate? But those thoughts are brushed away as the outer door opens, and what feels like hundreds of cameras go off near-immediately.
“Damn paparazzi.” you think to yourself, putting on a fake pleasant smile and waving to them as your guards quickly make a path. They all start shouting questions at you, but you just ignore them and vaguely wave towards the louder voices. But as your soldiers carve a path through them, you hear one voice above the others.

“What do you think of the Red Knight calling you out?” a woman's voice calls, piercing through the cacophony. “Will you challenge her yourself, or keep sending others to battle her?”

Hearing that question you stop, gritting your teeth while turning to face that woman. Who cowers as you glare at her, the crowd going completely silent.

“When she earns the right to battle me, then and ONLY then I shall face her.” you reply, tone deadly serious. “I can't fight every no-name nobody who wants to try and make a name for themselves by challenging me. That is why they have to compete here, in the greatest arena in the universe to prove themselves worthy.”

You then turn from the stunned reporter and start walking away, the formation moving far easier now through the silent crowd. After getting clear of the paparazzi, it only takes you all a minute to travel to Vox's spire, the soldiers all stopping in their formation at the base while you and Visha get in, pressing the button as the elevator quickly takes you to the top. As it comes to a stop, you take a deep breath, readying yourself before the door opens.

“I've got a bad feeling about this.” you mutter as the door slides open, you stepping forward into the room. You walk up to the next door, the two elite guards opening the door to Vox's personal office. As you step in, Visha following two steps behind, you notice several prototypes of the next season merch drop as you approach his desk, yet you feel as though this meeting is unrelated to any merchandise as you walk up to his desk, stopping with a click of your heels and giving a proper salute for greeting a superior officer. “Champion General Tanya Degurechaff, reporting.”

On a usual day he'd grumble that you don't have to do such when it's just you all and no witnesses, but you'd informed him that you cannot. After all, every time you follow the rules and proper protocols, you can feel your divine power grow. Even if only by millimeters, but you're not ceding that ground easily. After all, you never know when you'll encounter a threat that could potentially end your life again. But today he doesn't even acknowledge this, telling you more articulately than words could convey that something's troubling him.

“Is something the matter?” you ask him, then remembering back to the reporter have an inkling. “Is it regarding that Red Knight?”
“Who? No no, nothing like that. I just received two disturbing calls.” he says, steepling his fingers with his elbows resting on his desk as he looks at you. You feel that sense of impending dread returning as he continues, confirming your fears. “First, the one I got right before calling you up here: Soba has been bested.”
“DAMMIT!!” you shout and scream in your head, now is NOT the time for Chaya to come back and challenge you! You've finally begun winning a majority of the audience to your side, should you come to blows with her again she might be able to siphon away enough of the audience's worship to permanently impact your power, at least for another few years. But despite all these racing thoughts you keep your face a calm, almost aloof mask as you speak levelly. “So, I take it Chaya managed to find him?”

“Indeed. In fact, this was their second fight.” he says, throwing enough emphasis on -second- so you get the implications. “Then, on your way here, I received a non-telepathic call from her through official channels. Stating she was going to be returning, and bringing Soba along as her second.”

And upon hearing this, you feel your heart drop down into your toes.

“N-No way! TWO former champions teaming up to beat me? This is absolute bullshit!!” you think to yourself, internally freaking out. With that much star power against you, they could be a real threat to your divine power. They could even potentially take enough of your fans' worship away that she might actually beat you. Despite the exponential growth of your own might, you know that her people have the ability to greatly increase their power over time. Even Chaya, despite her lax work ethic, still managed to substantially increase her power over her time in Dreadzone. Which could be a problem. But instead of allowing yourself to panic outwardly, you take a deep breath, sigh out, then speak. “Well then. What is your plan? Or is this going to be a strategy session?”

“Well, we do have some time.” he says, your brow raising in confusion. “I talked to Chaya on your way here, she said she's coming back to reclaim her 'rightful place'. But you do have some time to prepare.”
“What do you mean?” you ask him, confused. “Is she taking more time to train before coming?”
“No, she's heading back this way once she returns to New Salda.” he tells you. “But she's not going to be challenging you immediately. Instead she said that she's starting back at the bottom, and working her way back up.”
“What?” you exclaim, shocked at this revelation. “Did she really tell you this?”

“I know, surprised me too.” Vox says, clearly not understanding your sudden worry. “I figured she'd be all eager to head right back over and challenge you for her title immediately, but this will give us time to prepare for her. Plenty of time to measure her strength and discover her new limits.”
“I have an idea.” you tell him, Vox raising a brow curiously. “What if we use Chaya's arrival as a challenge and setup for that Red Knight? Let them both fight once they're the top two competitors, and tell them both that I'll fight the winner?”

“That...That's an EXCELLENT idea!” he exclaims, surging up to his feet. “Another stroke of brilliance, Tanya! This is why I pay you the big bucks! What a brilliant solution! We can build up the match as the next big thing, setting it up as a massive title fight over the course of two or three seasons. Then when they're number one and two on the scoreboard, finally have them come to blows in a dramatic spectacle. The ratings will be massive!”

“THE GUN IN MY HAND BECOMES TWO.” Okira and Imagine Dragon say in perfect sync, the captured Covenant firearm suddenly splits itself, a second identical weapon drawing up and out of the first one. The newly-created weapon rests on top of the first still laying flat in the young Saiyan's hand, the room full of scientists and engineers all applauding the young girl as Daiko walks towards her.

“Yes, just like that. Excellent work Okira.” Daiko says to the young child, clapping twice as the young girl takes the second in her free hand, holding both up to him. Which he takes, handing each one off to a separate individual. “Quickly dismantle them, both of you.”
“Sir!” the two say, rushing over to their shared workbench as they start disassembling the weapons. Which confuses the young girl, who reaches up and grabs his lab coat near his knee.
“Uhh, excuse me. Why are they takin 'em apart?” she asks, voice filled with confusion. But the head of R&D smiles at the young girl, kneeling beside her and placing a hand on her shoulder. “Didn't you want me to make more stuff?”

“Of course. But I'm curious how you and Imagine Dragon make doubles of things.” he says in a serious adult tone. “So, they will take them apart and see how different they are inside.”
“Ooooooooooh, okay!” she says, then seemingly has an idea, expression lighting up. “I wanna see!”
“Of course.” he replies, the Head Scientist looking only a bit worried as she runs over to the table, levitating up enough to grab onto the edge. She pulls herself up, her Stand snaking out of her mouth and the two stay there, watching as the weapons are disassembled before their eyes and Okira kicking her legs idly. She asks questions, Daiko telling her what the different parts do. She listens as he talks, watching as the weapons are completely disassembled. Then as its done, Daiko asks her another question. “Can you reassemble them, Okira?”

“Let's do it!” she says, her and her Stand both taking deep breaths in to use their power once more. Everyone watches Karn's youngest daughter in anticipation, waiting to see what miracle she'll perform next.

Figures that Tanya would make the critical misstep of thinking Chaya has a shit work ethic. She was just missing the proper motivation to grow is all, which Tanya most graciously provided.

Think of it from the universe's perspective. She was the general and head strategist of the Hive War, and outmaneuvered the physically superior warrior Chaya in a dominant performance. Plus with her own streams as well, going over records of military strategy across different PTO and older battles, she's built her reputation. Add that onto her clear bloodlust and crazy mid-battle expressions she's a crowd favorite.

>>
>>5490445
She doesn’t ban the harmless non-spammy pervs, as giving them their casually disgusted scolding does also increase their devotion, and therefore her power proportionally. But more like classical military maneuvers from her home world, how the advent of the early beam rifles acted as force multipliers for the early PTO, even some really ancient battles predating it whose records she’s obtained with Arctus’s help and permission. Like the battles of Geonosis and Naboo long before Buu’s rampage.

>>5490466
Not quite. She makes it clear she’s on a different level and should be idolized. Which does cut a good percentage of Chaya’s fanbase the wrong way, who never felt “beneath” the previous champion. One thing Tanya can’t do that Chaya did wan encourage the audience that they too can get strong enough to one day fight too.

>>
>>5490884
So, going back to Tanya's "Ascension", does she know that Karn purposefully let Chaya lose?
If she didn't realize that, she may have fucked up harder than anybody could have predicted.
>>
>>5490890
She's not one to give false hope, putting it lightly.
>>5491160
>that Karn purposefully let Chaya lose?
I don't think that's phrased quite correctly. Chaya's an adult(by Saiyan standards) and can make her own decisions. But she knows Chaya wasn't taking her seriously despite the damage her body'd taken until the end, all according to her plan. Now her plan is to see what this 'new' Chaya can do, then have her fight the Red Knight to see the depths of both of their powers.
>>
>>5491339
>I don't think that's phrased quite correctly.
Alright, let me rephrase it then. Does she understand that Karn was well aware of Chaya's disadvantage going into that fight and still let it run its course?
>>

Wrong their. Damn hands.
>>
>>5491391
Yes, she's well aware of Karn and his thought process. But also that he's a big self-improvement believer, and would push his daughter after a loss. She's expecting a 40% minimum increase to Chaya's power.
>>5491419
Ooof. And if they're in the space age, maybe. Or maybe they overcompensate and design their ships like Sith Infiltrators.
>>
>>5491424
>She's expecting a 40% minimum increase to Chaya's power
What's her maximum estimate so I can laugh at it.
>>
>>5491424
40% minimum? I'm not even Karn and I'm insulted.
>>
>>5491426
40% minimum to her base powerlevel post-zenkai after she nearly killed Chaya herself. Not 40% added to her power during their fight. As for her maximum, she expects up to a 500% base power increase from her post-zenkai powerlevel.
>>5491427
She's calculated all possibilities she foresaw from the moment she learned that Chaya was coming back after going after Soba. Including getting a (zenkai) powerup on par with the one she got from Elder Guru. 40%-500% increase is her estimated range of Chaya's growth, from what she knows of her personality, species potential, etc.
>>
>>5491445
So she still thinks she can win?
>>
>>5491453
Yes. Judging from her own power increase since learning how worship strengthens her, she's confident she can take Chaya down even if your daughter's base increased a dozen times over. Right now, she's unaware Chaya has begun channeling divine power as well.
>>
>>5491462

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

Chaya battled the Undefeated former Champion of Dreadzone Soba. In the end, Chaya emerged victorious in a storm of dark lightning, nearly killing the Yardratian warrior. But in a show of mercy she had Caulifla heal him, the warrior admitting defeat and surrendering his people to the PTO's rule. After Chaya accepted his offer to be her second when she returned to Dreadzone, to battle her way back to the top, Karn had asked about their technique known as Spirit Control. To which Soba had offered to take Karn to their elder, known as Pybara. And as we rejoin Karn, Soba has taken you and Lord Freeza to meet with their elder in what you sense to be their largest city.

“Elder Pybara, they've arrived.” Soba says, reaching out and pressing both heavy-seeming double doors open. Revealing what looks to be a dojo of sorts, looked over by a massive Yardratian. The light blue-skinned alien is massive, standing even taller than your Berserker forms with his arms held behind his back in a casual resting position.
“So, you are the one known as Karn.” Elder Pybara says, taking Freeza's hand. “You look quite simple for a Saiyan.”
“You seem to be mistaken, I am Lord Freeza, emperor of the universe.” Freeza says, then gestures towards you standing to his right with his tail. “This is General Karn.”

“Oh, forgive me.” the elder says, switching his grip to your hand instead of Freeza's. “Greetings, Saiyan. I have heard much of your exploits, and I know why you've come. You seek to learn our ways.”
“That's right. Namek's Grand Elder Guru told me that your people possessed techniques that would help me control my own raging power.” you tell him, shaking his hand a few moments before letting him go. “If you will have me.”
“Hrmmmm.” he says, bringing his right hand to one of his weird whisker antennae, stroking it thoughtfully as he looks you up and down. “Hmmm. You're quite the unusual specimen, a being made of contradictions. Killer and protector, conqueror and defender. Your spirit and body are quite in tune already, despite never having been trained in our ways. Which does show your will to push through any limitations. I'm quite sure that you could thrive under our training.”

“So, you'll teach me then?” you ask, but Elder Pybara doesn't respond. He just keeps “Hrmmm”ing to himself as he studies you. His mumbles are the only noises for nearly a minute, you seeing Freeza quickly growing frustrated by the second. Then, when he can't take it any more, your emperor's voice explodes into the silence.

“You will give Karn whatever he wants, or I'll destroy you and your entire planet!” he roars, pointing his fingertip with energy gathered at the elder. You immediately snap into action, grabbing his wrist and jerking his hand away, pointing it straight up at the ceiling. “WHY Y-!”

But, seeing it was you stopping him, he freezes in place, eyes going wide.

“That's enough.” you tell him in a serious tone, glaring down at him. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath in, then sighing out releases the gathered energy harmlessly.
“Sorry Karn.” he replies, voice far meeker than it was a moment ago. Then, once you're satisfied he's not going to lash out, you let him go and return your focus to the elder. “As emperor of the universe, I would ask that you teach him every technique you and your people know.”
“There's been a misunderstanding, I'm afraid. My people are not blessed with some great wealth of techniques, like you and your kind.” Elder Pybara tells you and Freeza, to both of your shock. “We devote our studies to only a single thing. And it is from that that our abilities are born.”

“Spirit Control.” you say, the elder nodding to you.
“Indeed.” he replies seriously. “But, I must ask you Saiyan: what is the purpose of power?”
“Huh?” you ask, caught off guard by the question.
“Why do you seek strength? For what reason do you seek greater and greater might?” Elder Pybara asks you, his voice deadly serious.

Well? Why DO you seek strength?
>For the freedom to do as you want, to act as you will without anyone else holding you back
>To protect what's most important to you, no matter what forces seek their destruction

“I seek greater strength to protect what's most important to me. No matter what forces seek their destruction.” you tell him, the elder raising a brow as you continue. “The universe is a cruel place, and will take everything from you if you're not strong enough to protect what's yours. I need the strength to protect my family, to shield them from the worst out there and the forces that seek my, my family, and my entire race's extinction. I will do whatever it takes, fight through whatever odds it takes to do so. No matter what, as long as I live, my people will be safe.”

“I see....” Pybara says, thinking over your answer for another minute of silence before nodding once to himself. “Very well. I shall accept you as a student, Karn of New Salda. I shall teach you the ways of Spirit Control.”

He then simply vanishes, you tracking his ki as he teleports behind you. Turning, Freeza following your gaze, you see that there isn't only one Elder, but now a dozen Pybara all standing together for several seconds before they merge back into one.

“Instant Transmission, making copies. Or as you call the technique, Multiform.” Elder Pybara says, holding up his hands. “And, of course, more advanced abilities like our Healing and Gigantification.”

As the elder says Gigantification, his body rapidly shrinks down to the size of your four year old daughter Okira. Shocking both you and Freeza. However, the emperor seems more surprised by what he said than his sudden height deficiency.

“Hold on. You said healing, right?” Freeza asks, his tone suddenly very interested.
“That is correct.” Elder Pybara says, then gestures to the emperor. “Are you currently injured, and in need of assistance?”

To which Freeza draws a small ki blade around one finger, and slashes himself across the chest. Shocking both you, the Elder, and the other up-to-now silent Yardratians acting as guards in the room gasp in surprise as well.

“Does this count?” Freeza asks, the elder nodding and leveling his hand up towards Freeza. Who braces himself, but then looks down at his chest in confusion. The wound has not only sealed itself, but there's no evidence he'd ever cut himself. He looks himself over, then returns his gaze to the Yardratian elder. “Teach me as well.”
“Oh? You seek not power, but the ability to heal others?” Elder Pybara asks, again stroking his whisker. “And why is that?”

“I made a mistake.”

“Because of my decisions, I almost lost everything.” Freeza says to him, looking back at his own hand. “My greed, my ignorance, I nearly threw away everything not only I but my father built over our lifetimes. I allowed myself to be controlled, all for my own selfish desires. Now I seek the power to correct these mistakes. Even if I were to use my power to resurrect someone, if their body is critically wounded I cannot save them and they'll die again.”

“Wait, WHAT?” you exclaim, turning to face him. “What did you say?”
“Oh, yes, that's right. You weren't there.” Freeza says, turning back to you. “After the Battle for Namek, I was granted a wish by their dragon. Father wished that himself, my brother, and I would all be immune to any and all mind control or altering abilities. As for my own wish, I asked for the power to resurrect the dead. And while I gained it, it has limits. Were you to be decapitated, I could bring you back to life. But with a severed head, you would only live for moments.”

At this he then turns back to the elder, expression deadly serious as you ponder what you've just learned.

“So I ask that you teach me your Spirit Control as well, allow me to gain the knowledge your people keep on your healing powers.”
“Hrmmmm...” the elder says, again seeming lost in thought as he looks Lord Freeza over. He doesn't say anything for one minute, and then two. You can tell he's growing frustrated by the second but is restraining himself this time.

But what now? What do you do?
>Stay quiet and see what happens, nothing will come of trying to hurry this elder's pondering
>Speak up and say that you would like for him to train with you, if possible

You share a glance with the emperor, then simply shrug. There's nothing you can do to hurry him along. He'll make his choice whenever he does. But something Freeza said has drawn your attention, brows furrowing.

“Wait, you wished for the power to resurrect others?” you ask him, shocked. “Was that always your wish?”
“Indeed.” he replies to you, reaching over and laying his hand on your arm. “What good is ruling the universe if I lose what matters to me along the way?”
“Heh, fair enough.” you reply, the elder coughing a bit. You both turn your focus back on him, the elder looking at Freeza curiously.

“Unfortunately, I cannot train you. Not at this time.” Pybara tells him, catching the two of you by surprise. “Your spirit is far, far less stabilized than Karn's. It would take months, maybe even years to balance yourself. And I believe that you're too occupied at the moment to devote this much time to training.”
“Oh, I see.” he replies, sighing out in disappointment. “Very well, I suppose I'll have to return to Father first. Let me know how this training of yours goes, I shall be curious to see your strength afterwards.”
“Of course.” you reply, the two of you sharing a nod. Freeza then turns to Soba who'd been quietly observing everything.
“If you would, could you return me to the others?” Freeza asks, Soba nodding and walking over. He then reaches out, laying a hand on Freeza's shoulder and the two simply disappear. You then turn back, looking down upon the tiny elder.

“So, are you ready to begin?” he asks you. But after hearing what he said, you now have a few questions.
“Before we start, you said this could take months.” you say, thinking it over. “Does that mean I can't leave during the training and have to stay here?”
“Ideally? Yes. However, I cannot keep you here.” he tells you. “But know this. If you leave mid-way through aligning your spirit, you will most likely have to start over.”
“Start over?” you reply, shocked. Then you think it over, remembering what Guru'd told you about controlling your power. This training could be the key to keep from losing yourself to the ancient Berserker power once Beerus arrives, but can you really take this long away from home? What if they need you?

Ask the elder if you can bring your family here with you, and see if he could possibly train any of them like Meloka or Broly while letting them live here for the duration wins it. Interesting, writing.
>>
You guys say Broly but I think Meloka probably needs this as well. Yes, the SSG will probably force her out of her perpetual SS3 state. But we don't know what effects it'll do once she returns to base on the god power ends. What if she ends up relapsing once she transforms, what if she loses transformation in general? Call me a worry wort but I think more than just Broly can benefit from this. Chaya got Soba for her SC training so she'll be fine regardless.
>>
>>5492384
Of course everybody can benefit greatly from this training, but Karn and Broly NEED this, hence why they take priority.

“Since I can't leave, without having to start over, would you mind if I brought others here to your world while I train?” you ask, the diminutive elder smiling. “If your training would help me, then I'm sure my family would benefit from your teachings as well.”
“I'm not one to keep someone away from their own blood.” Elder Pybara says, then holds up a finger. “However, not all of them will be ready for my training. Or even capable of participating. Would that be alright?”
“I don't see why not.” you answer him, then suddenly sense Soba returning behind you. But he's not alone, you turning to face your oldest daughter. “So, you're heading out once more. Sure you don't want to spend time here training with us?”

“I'm sure.” Chaya replies, that same fire of determination burning in her eyes. “I have a score to settle, after all. And starting back at the bottom, it's gonna take me at least two years before I can challenge her for my title back. So I'd better get started sooner, rather than later.”
“Alright. Let me know when you're ready, and I'll be there.” you say, opening your arms. She looks hesitant for a second before walking over, embracing you. As you hug your daughter you can tell that she's no longer the little girl who'd burned her eyes trying to copy you, or the one who'd danced with Freeza at your wedding. She's a woman now, not a child, and is ready to carve out her own path. “Love ya kiddo.”

“L-Love you too Daddy.” she replies, choking up a little bit. You hold her for a few more seconds, then the two of you release each other simultaneously. “Want me to tell Momma you're gonna be here?”
“No need, I'll tell her myself in a bit.” you reply, then glance up towards where you know your ship the Lucrehulk is still hovering over the planet. “Might have to tell Raven too, see if she still has that portal to the ship above to bring some supplies down.”
“Supplies?” Elder Pybara asks, a warm but confused smile on his face. “If it is food you're speaking of, we have plenty on this world. If you're hungry now, I can show you.”

“Perhaps you were right about having to bring your own people's food along, should you stay with us.” Elder Pybara corrects himself, having watched you and Chaya devour a light meal provided by the elder's attendants. “The two of you just went through more food than an entire family would in a week.”
“Oh, your people really eat that little?” you ask him, confused. “That was barely a light meal, by our people's standards.”
“Haha, such hearty beings.” the elder says with a laugh. “Yes, I think it for the best that your people bring your own food as well. I'd hate to be called a terrible host, but I do believe that we are not capable of providing for your people long enough for the training.”

“That's fine, we have more than enough supplies back home for us.” you reply, the two of you rising from your seats. The rest of the Yardratians are still stunned silent, no doubt shocked by how much you and Chaya consumed. “If you'll excuse me, I do need to speak with my wife, and see what she wants to do.”
“That is quite understandable. Soba, if you would take them back.” the elder says, then turns back to you. “I'll be waiting, whenever you're ready to get started.”

Soba returns you and Chaya back to the dropship, Freeza nowhere to be seen. Leaving you with one task ahead, telling Meloka what's gone down. So you reach out, not wasting any time.

“Hey Mel, you up?” you ask her telepathically, to which your wife immediately replies.
“Everything okay?” she says, you sensing a note of worry through the link. “Is Chaya fine?”
“She's more than fine, she won.” you reply, then change the subject back to the matter at hand. “And the elder here has agreed to train me.”
“That's good.” she answers, then, not knowing the restriction asks. “So, when will you be coming home?”
“That's the thing...” you say, then explain everything you learned. How long the training could take, how you got his permission to bring you all there and see if anyone else would want to train as well, everything. And once you've explained the situation, Meloka has an important question for you.

“What about everything here?” she asks you seriously. “What about our students, and the kids' training with the late Guardian? Are you just going to pull everyone out of their lives for this?”

“I can leave the ship here, have Raven portal the kids back and forth between here and New Salda for their lessons with her and her predecessor.” you tell your wife, glancing to the Lucrehulk waiting far overhead. “But once I start this training, I won't be able to leave until it's through without starting back over. And I'd rather not spend all this time alone, without my family here with me.”

You can feel the sudden rush of her emotions through the mental link, mainly your wife overwhelmed with a surge of happiness.

“We'll be there!” she answers excitedly after a moment of silence.
“We need to bring our own food along, the Yardratians don't eat like we do.” you tell her seriously. “We'll need to bring over quite a lot.”
“I'm on it.” she replies, ending the mental link as Caulifla runs over. And immediately she looks worried, you turning to face her fully.
“Cauli? What's wro-?” you get out before she flying tackles your face. You catch your daughter as she clings to you, and to your surprise starts sobbing.
“I don' want you to go!” she says, clinging to you for dear life. “If you're gonna stay then I wanna stay too!”

“Easy there kiddo, easy.” you tell her, gently prying her off of you. “You don't have to go back yet. In fact, your mother and siblings are coming here.”
“Wait, really?!” she asks, her tone shocked. “Really really?”
“Of course. “Elder Pybara agreed to train me, so I'll be staying here for awhile.” you tell her. But Momma's gonna talk with Raven, and I'll tell Arctus to leave the ship here for the time being so we can have a portal right back home. So, while I can't go back until it's done, you all can still go train with Teacher and see everyone back home.”
“That's great! I-” she says, then once more her body begins glowing with that familiar dark blue energy. “Well, looks like I'll be back in a bit. Clothes Beam!”

She hits herself with a flash of golden light, changing into her silver armor as she starts stretching out. Then after a few seconds she straightens up and quits moving, her soul moving away.

“Oh? Interesting.” Elder Pybara says, appearing beside you and looking at your daughter. “She can send her spirit elsewhere?”
“Not quite.” you say, explaining that pendant she wears and how it lets her seemingly travel through time to help others.
“That's quite something.” Pybara says, sounding genuinely surprised. “So, how large IS your family?”

You move your family in, and once you all have been given a place to stay you began your training under the Yardratian elder.

-ONE MONTH LATER-

“Haaah, haaah, haaaaaah.” you pant in exhaustion, struggling to maintain your balance atop the needle-fine point of the spike. You're on the field of spikes the Yardratians use to train, pointer fingertips pressed together while resting on the tip of the spike on your toes. “H-Hey. How many more days of this?”
“You're doing great, but you must focus.” Elder Pybara says in his usual calm tone, you glancing over and seeing him standing perfectly balanced on one foot, hands clasped behind his back as he stands there easily. “You must achieve balance in body and mind.”
“Tch!” you exhale, growing a bit frustrated. You've already lost count of how many days you've been standing here on this spike, stomach grumbling in hunger.
“Your balance is all disrupted, again.” Elder Pybara says, you taking a deep breath in and refocusing yourself. This training is a unique brand of awful, but

-TWO MORE MONTHS LATER-

“C'mon, keep up!” one of the young Yardratians who Pybara has called upon to help you with your training calls out as he keeps moving, leaping agilely from spike to spike. You follow close behind him, landing on the central pillar next to the elder and the youth a second behind the youngling. Landing down on your hands and a knee, you immediately stop and start catching your breath. “Wow, you're really good!”
“Haaah, haaaaaaah. Hah.” you pant, quickly controlling your breathing by using the breathing technique taught to you by the late Guardian all those years ago. “Phew.”

“Mmmm. Wonderful Spirit Power.” Pybara says, levelling his left hand at you. “Your spirit is now the most polished I've ever seen from an off-worlder. Now, your spirit is ready. I shall begin teaching you our abilities.”

But as he does, suddenly your exhaustion simply vanishes. You look yourself over, wearing the same armor as the Yardratians, and see that all your injuries you've taken over the past week are simply gone.

“Wait, is that your healing technique?” you ask, shocked. It was nearly instantaneous, much quicker than any of Caulifla's healing abilities.
“That was one of Elder Pybara's signature moves.” the young child named Hatska says, sounding very excited to have seen it in person. “Pretty great, huh?”
“That was quite something.” you say, then clenching your fist as you look up to the elder. “So, you'll teach me to use this power?”
“Ahahaha, don't go getting ahead of yourself now, Karn.” Pybara says with a smile. “That's high-level stuff, and you're not quite there yet. For now, we'd normally start with the basics of Instant Transmission. But, seeing as you already know that technique, we shall just review it before moving onto more advanced techniques. Now, raise your right hand to your forehead...”

-THREE MONTHS LATER-

“D-Dammit!” you seethe, dropping down to your hands and knees as your strength is siphoned away. Your powerlevel plummets as the Yardratian Elder drains your strength, ending his technique as you try and catch your breath. Focusing your remaining strength you start pushing yourself back up unsteadily to your feet. “One more time.”
“Hold on, I think we'll call it here for today.” he tells you, you sense your wife's ki beginning to appear beside your own. You turn to face her just before she arrives, grabbing her when she does.
“AH-! Oh, hey hun.” Meloka says, her entire body tensing up for just a moment before seeing you've grabbed her and relaxing. “You done for the day?”
“I reckon I am.” you tell her, turning back to the Yardratian elder. “Same time tomorrow?”
“I”ll be here.” he replies, you and Meloka teleporting back to your temporary home here on Yardrat.

You and your wife reappear by Broly, who'd been rejected by Elder Pybara initially. He'd instead had your son study under another instructor, one who usually trains the younger children and readies them to begin studying Spirit Control. But your son hadn't complained or even objected, accepting his place and studying diligently. After your months long balancing act atop the spike, you'd visited with him only to see your son meditating, as he'd been doing while on New Salda. But now, his energy is different. Meloka had told you what the instructor had told him, in hushed worried tones.

“Your body and spirit cannot be more out of line.” the man'd said, in a tone of mixed annoyance and genuine surprise. “Almost as if you're TRYING to put your spirit out of alignment.”

He'd told the instructor of his power, how it amplifies anger and rage, and he'd given your son a revelation.

“Suppressing your emotions isn't the answer. You're suppressing a part of who you are and what makes you, you.” the instructor had told him. “Being in control of yourself and your actions is one thing, but actively repressing your emotions has lead to your spirit being so far out of alignment. You must become one with your anger, with your emotions. Then, and only then, will you be able to master your power.”

He'd taken that lesson to heart, and as you and your wife appear, he's sitting there meditating in his Ascended Berserker form. Sensing your arrival he opens his eyes, turning his head to look at you both.

“Hey Mom, Dad.” he says through gritted teeth, clearly struggling to reign his anger in without suppressing it.
“Doing great Broly.” you say, patting him on the head and turning to the door. “Where's everyone else?”
“Okira's helping Arctus back up on the ship, Karn Jr's out at the daycare with the younger twins, and Tatsu and Tomi are off working on that fusion technique.” he says, voice a bit strained as he tries to tame his rage instead of pushing it down deep and suppressing it. “But if you don't mind, I'd like to focus.”
“Of course, you've got it. You need anything, don't hesitate to call out.” you tell him, the two of you going inside back to your bedroom. Meloka lays you down on the bed, then pounces on top of you with a sly grin, cheeks blushed. And in the soundproof bedroom the Yardratians have given you, you and your wife enjoy some quality time by yourselves.

Before you've realized it, training day after day on Planet Yardrat, more than a year has passed. Every month, except for the time you'd been aligning your spirit and body under Elder Pybara's guidance, you'd visited with Towa and that side of your family in her timeline with your family as well. Watching Maza, Milha, and Koruza grow up, as well as Future Chaya's continued growth with the former Time Patroller Ace, the two pushing themselves to greater and greater heights.

After mastering Spirit Control yourself, and learning most of the ability's techniques, Meloka had then taken her own turn studying under the elder. To your surprise she'd taken less than half of the time it'd taken you to reach the same level, her natural gift with learning and creating techniques no doubt serving her here. Then, once you'd both finished up your study, both learning everything up to Forced Spirit Fission, you and your wife decided to test out the limits of your newfound power.

“Now be careful, both of you.” Elder Pybara says, cautioning you both. “Before your training here, your bodies and spirits were so off-balance that neither of you could properly project your own powers. So, if you go throwing your energy around, be careful. Understood?”
“Yes, Elder Pybara.” you both say, nodding to him. He nods back, raising his right hand.
“Very well then. On my mark.” he says, you and Meloka both taking your fighting stances on opposite ends of the small plateau while still in your base forms. “Aaaaaaand begin!”

How do you start this off?

You know, given that while the manga can be pretty trashy. It does have some good tidbits of value. Immediately you kick off towards your wife, who'd reacted as you'd assumed by leaping back away from you. But with your increased power in your base form you are faster than her, quickly closing the distance. You can see the worry in her expression as you close in, raising her arms to guard herself. But she's too slow, your fist striking her square in the sternum.

“Guh!” she exhales, you immediately laying the pressure on her with a follow up left hammerfist to the collarbone, right knee to the chin snapping her head back then a spinning back left kick, planting your heel square in her guts. You can feel the solid contact up through the Yardrat-make boot, your wife wheezing as your strike knocks the wind from her lungs and pushes her back from you. But you're not done yet, reorienting yourself on her retreating figure and pressing the attack. Still stunned by the last hit as she flies uncontrollably back, you again close the distance. She sees you coming, again trying to block, but she's got no power behind her arms at the moment. Your right punch slams her own crossed forearms back into her face, leaving her core wide open for a left uppercut to the sternum. She makes an almost squeak as the little air left in her is knocked out, but she then gets a large gulp of air down just before you follow up with a right cross to the temple that spins her tinier frame in a full circle. Meeting your next left to her jaw moving even faster, stunning and disorienting her.

But she has enough of her wits about her to not simply get beaten up on, you sensing her gathering her spirit. Knowing what's coming next you leap back, just as she unleashes her ki with a shout.

“HRRAAAAAAAA!!”

But instead of a normal Explosive Wave, just enough to push you off of her and give her a chance to recover, the ensuing blast is massive. Nearly as powerful as your own Red Dawn attack, you're forced to dash straight back and away from her to avoid getting caught in the explosion.

“WOAH!!” you exclaim, shielding your eyes while retreating from her planet-destroying blast. But as it clears, she looks as surprised as you feel, looking down at her hand in confusion.
“Knock that off!” Elder Pybara says, sounding genuinely angry for the first time since you've started living here. “Don't go wrecking our planet!”
“Uhh, care to explain what just happened?” Meloka asks him, sounding equally impressed and shocked by what she did.
“You just witnessed your own nascent power.” the elder says, your wife “What?!”ing at this. “Before your training here, your body and spirit were so off-balance that you couldn't project your power very well Now, however....”

“So you're saying that we've grown that much stronger since coming here?” your wife asks, the elder nodding.
“Sure have. By leaps and bounds.” Pybara answers. “Now, please limit your energy output during this match. Try and keep this fight limited to physical attacks, as much as possible.”
“Understood.” Meloka replies, retaking her fighting stance as she turns to face you. “Ready to keep going?”
“Of course!” you reply, retaking your stance as well before you once again blitz towards her. But this time your wife doesn't retreat, instead charging directly at you.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpTE38DoY4k

The two of you rapidly close the distance, Meloka flipping clockwise around your right fist as you swing for her again. But as she turns around into a right back roundhouse, you duck your head, narrowly avoiding the powerful strike. She continues her spin without meeting any resistance, swinging down at your face with a powerful left. You catch her fist in your left, driving your right elbow up and into her guts. This time she isn't as caught off guard, eating the hit with a grunt and driving her right knee up at your chin. Causing you to let her go and lean back, narrowly dodging the second hit.

“Almost.” you taunt good-naturedly with a grin, your wife twisting and turning that momentum into a dropping left knee down at your head as you rush in. Blocking the hit with your left forearm you charge, slamming your forehead into hers. But again she eats the momentum, using it to flip back up and over you. Turning around, you move just in time to see a flying kick aimed at your face, which you knock aside with your right forearm while surging forward. Driving your left fist square into her guts, again knocking the wind out of her.
“Guh!” she wheezes, and stunned by the hit is unable to properly defend herself as you unleash a powerful barrage of more than a dozen Djem So strikes before driving your knee up into her middle, then fire off a two-handed ax-handle blow to the back of her neck, sending your wife crashing down to the ground below. But as you land down beside her, she's already back up on her feet, wiping a bit of blood from the corner of her mouth on the back of her sleeve. “Heh, not bad hun.”

Seeing this you level your hand at her, focus your spirit for a moment, and restore her body to its peak condition. You heal her of all the damage she'd taken so far, your wife scowling yet still smiles with her eyes as she retakes her fighting stance.

“Oh? Don't go sucking up to me now hun, I'm still gonna beat you up good for that one!” she taunts with a smile, no longer able to sustain the fake scowl. And you grin as well, returning to your own stance as well.
“Oh yeah? Then bring it on Mel!” you call out as the two of you charge forward once more. Your fists smash against each others as the planet trembles below, both of you quitting the warm up and starting to go at one hundred percent in your base forms. You don't know what all the future holds in store for you and your family, but no matter what you're going to do everything in your power to be ready for it. Even when the God of Destruction himself comes to New Salda searching for the Super Saiyan God, you are going to be ready. Because no matter what threats come to your home, seeking to end your people and their ways, your family and your friends, you will always put yourself between them and that danger.

And that's it, REMNANTS has officially come to a close! Did you enjoy the arc? Which part was your most/least favorite? Ready to move forward into the Battle of Gods, and see who is truly the strongest being in Universe 7? Ready to see the Chaya and Tanya rematch, both wielding the power of the divine? Curious who will impress the Destroyer and his Angel the most, when the time comes? All this and more, next arc of Saiyan Conqueror Quest!

Also, there will be no episode next weekend, as I'll be busy with irl stuff as well as finalizing everything for the next arc. The first episode of the Battle of Gods arc will start Christmas Eve, unless there's enough support from you all for pushing it back until the 31st/New Year. What do you all think, do you want the first episode of the next arc for Christmas?

>>5492777
Ha!
>>

>>
>>5492783
>And that's it, REMNANTS has officially come to a close! Did you enjoy the arc?
Very much so. I'm just surprised nobody actually died given what happened.
>Which part was your most/least favorite?
Chaya running away from home had the most impact for me, so I'll say it's both my most and least favorite part. It hurt to read, but that just means it did its job.
>Ready to move forward into the Battle of Gods, and see who is truly the strongest being in Universe 7?
I'm ready to absolutely SMOKE that Bingus lookalike fuckhead.
>Ready to see the Chaya and Tanya rematch
I'm ready for Tanya to realize Chaya's entire family is a bunch of God Slayers, herself included.
>Curious who will impress the Destroyer and his Angel the most, when the time comes?
It'll probably be Karn just for the sake of how much he'll be able to accomplish without a shred of Divine Ki.
>What do you all think, do you want the first episode of the next arc for Christmas?
What better gift could there possibly be?
>>
>>5492789
Heh.
>>5492800
It's been a wild ride.
Chaya's arc has been stressful for me, mainly for how it was received. But it all ended well, we got one of the better endings for her development.
Battle of Gods will be a great series of episodes.
We'll see.
Karn most certainly will impress, that's a given.
Fair enough, I can't disagree.
>>
>>5492772
Wait, so which techniques under the blanket of Spirit Control did we end up learning overall?
And is our power level going to read roughly the same, or is it going to skyrocket due to efficiency increases? Hard for me to tell for how it works. I know spirit control definitely helps you pump a lot more shit out for what feels like the same amount, but I have no idea if that affects the readings of a scouter during normal resting states.
>>
>>5492891
>Wait, so which techniques under the blanket of Spirit Control did we end up learning overall
YES.
>And is our power level going to read roughly the same, or is it going to skyrocket due to efficiency increases?
The same. Your energy pool didn’t increase, but it’ll most certainly feel to you as if it did for quite some time until you adjust. For something to cost as little as a basic Explosive Wave to have nearly the power of your Red Dawn is a massive jump in power-to-output. Turning a basic finger beam into something akin to the Final Shine Attack, or an Event Horizon into....Well you’ll see eventually.
>>
>>5492783
Christmas or bust. Aside from that, I'd have to mainly agree with >>5492800. While I'm always willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, I've had some gripes over future Chaya. I get what you were trying to do but it still stung and felt like everyone was being punished for the opinions of some people. But I looked past it and let you tell the story that you wanted to do with Chaya.

Although, I feel like the Assassin Arc has to be my worst. Not because of your performance mind you, but mainly due to fatty essentially dooming his entire planet. I was hoping for Killua to come back in an even-trade sort of deal and get that chance to befriend Gon as he turns his life around. But it is what it is.

The best arc has to be namek if only because Ginyu got to achieve his Xanatos gambit and be rewarded for it. It was a real rollercoaster of emotions from top to bottom.

I'm ready to see what the gang developed from their SC training and see how it stacks against Beerus before they go god.

>yfw Karn was beating people's asses above his weight class while technically being gimped
First it was the style change from Su Ma to Djem So, now this.
>>
>>5492952
I caught more flak for her story than I did with the Towa one, that’s for sure. But it eventually played out.
Worst part is Milluki isn’t even the one who doomed his planet. He doomed himself, but his mother and father, in trying to protect him at all costs lost everything.
I’d been planning the Namek battle for years, and am glad it went so well. It could have been a tragedy, but instead was a triumph.
It’s going to be a fun ride
>>5492966
Ha. Not quite, but let’s just say you can’t throw it on a planet you’d like to keep.
>>5492975
Indeed.
>>5492986
Doesn’t increase the Energy Body’s durability at the lower end, but it is now an instantaneous activation. And at Unmovable Energy Body, it really lives up to its name.
>>5492989
Remember when Broly threw an Event Horizon INTO another Event Horizon? Yeah...
>>5493143
The biggest difference now is in how quickly you can repair the Energy Body. How easily you can replenish the energy once it’s damaged by an attack.
>>5493164
It is going to make a big difference. You’ll see in the Freeza rematch just how much.
>>
>>5493164
I was gonna chastise the Time Patrol for not looking into Spirit Control sooner, but then I remembered that the only person who would possibly know of it is Xeno Goku.
>>
>>5493186
You can chastise Goku instead for not sharing his techniques. Goddamn stingy monkey, he learned his famous techniques from everybody and when he does his own thing he zips his lips about it.
>>
>>5493186
>>5493220
Is it really greed or just not thinking about it.
>>
>>5493185
>Doesn’t increase the Energy Body’s durability at the lower end, but it is now an instantaneous activation. And at Unmovable Energy Body, it really lives up to its name.
Makes sense. Normal energy body is only at its current level because it's what we can still move relatively freely in.
In fact, Karn might have a few hours of getting used to pumping FAR less energy into his normal Energy Body. He'll likely be turning it onto Immovable for the first few times entirely by accident.

On a side note, the energy buildup of Berserk is going to be a little more...dangerous, now. Because we'll have to throw out a lot more potent shit to drain the same amount of energy from ourselves, right? Overbuildup is gonna be hard to manage.
>>
>>5493247

Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:

After the two former Champions of the Dreadzone found in Chaya and Soba had struck an accord, Karn, accompanied by Frieza and the aforementioned Yardratian met up with the race’s Elder, Pybara. One heated conversation later that almost turned into a bloodbath, Frieza revealed the nature of his second wish: That is, to be able to revive the recently deceased. However, the wish had a downside that the Despot wished to rectify via Spirit Control training, the same Karn chose to undertake.

Unfortunately, Karn’s friend was dismissed due to an instability in body and spirit, unlike the Saiyan General, who seemingly renewed his vows to gain ultimate strength in pursuit of protecting the ones that matter to him most - which seemed to impress the Yardratian Elder, and dispel any worries he might’ve had as to training the Berserker. Afterwards, Karn had come up with a plan to bring his entire family over and offer them similar training at the hands of other instructors.

As we return to the action, more than two years has passed since the begin of Karn and Meloka’s tutelage under the esoterically skilled Spirit Control masters of Planet Yardrat, and they are returning to Planet New Salda to get back into swing of things, and finish off preparations for the arrival of Lord Beerus, this Universe’s God of Destruction, in just a mere 2 years.

But what will you do first?
>Raise the issue of the Super Saiyan God with Meloka & Vegeta
>Catch up with the results of your class’ training over the past 2 years
>Instant Transmission over to Ubo. He’s absolutely radiating power-- the kinds of power you hadn’t felt since you battled that one Time Patroller Fusion.

>>5493349

Returning home for good after such a long period of time spent off-world feels jarring, to say the least, you note. It’s been a long while since you were a regular trooper who’d spend long months in the solitude of space, several weeks on rampaging on a given planet as an Oozaru, and then the trip back. Many of your formative years were spent doing just that.

Returning from a journey of self-discovery of two years feels… Cathartic, you’d say, if you knew that word. The planet itself seems to shine under a different light-- you’re coming home not as a bloodied conqueror, but as a reborn defender. You sigh out in satisfaction as the primal energy of New Salda itself connects to you once again, a mental link forming between you and the living core of the planet. And it is thank to that link that you feel the ungodly amounts of energy being unleashed under the shroud of Raven’s darkness, on the late Guardian’s island.

Ubo…

The man was already considerably stronger than you back during the sham campaign against the Covenant’s Remnants, the wizard Babidi, and their undercover informant, Miluki. Now, however… The heights of his power are to your newest form what Frieza’s final form is to your own base form. You don’t know the right numbers to put that on a scale - the theoretical Trillions of power units that you and Golden Frieza were throwing around on Planet Namek pale in comparison. But Ubo’s power… It’s slowly, steadily waning, having dropped around one percent since you first felt that beacon of raw might.

You Instant Transmission without needing any input from your physical body - channeling Ki through your fingers not necessary after having perfected the technique on Planet Yardrat. You appear by Raven’s side, the tiny sorceress only twitching at your sudden appearance-- she must’ve felt your Ki travelling here before your own body did. You pay her no mind beyond a cursory welcoming grin, and turn to your old alien, and yet so Saiyan-like friend.

He’s glowing, both with extreme heat seemingly catching fire but not actually burning his body hair, and with his usually red energy beating wild with shades of very dark blue interspersed in-between.

Question about spirit control's Gigantification.
Can it work in reverse? Can we intentionally make ourselves smaller through compression or whatever?
Going big makes yourself only slightly stronger in exchange for being only slightly slower...so I'm wondering if we could shrink ourself a bit to be only slightly weaker and slightly faster, yet that much harder to hit.
Well, regardless of that...there's some pretty fucking good uses for going as huge as a great ape when you can become a massive unbreakable wall with energy body.
Oh shit, spirit control's shit means we're gonna be way better with our barrier techs. Honestly, Barriers are kind of becoming his specialty with his focus on energy body and how often he puts barriers up for others during fights and shit. And that one combo he did with Jeice.
>>
>>5494844
With a literal Old God backing her up, not likely.
>>5494868
Well the epilogue’ll drop probably Sunday sometime, or next week’s Thursday since I’m unable to run this coming weekend. As for 100% updated, maybe. NOT including that tldr recap pastebin, then probably. That’s going to be its own journey.
>>5494881
IF it is possible, you don’t know IC. And I can’t say either way for reasons.
There are fun applications of BEEG later on that I can forsee.
Yes, having the universe’s largest self-sustaining energy source is quite the combo with Barriers. At this point, Karn could contain the Galaxy Crusher Ball with his Super Barrier solo.
>>
>>5494902
"Not likely" has never stopped Diablo's scheming ass from doing something stupid. The Demon of Fear has no Fear afterall. It turned into Karn, so he has to be reaquianted.
>>
>>5494902
The one that's been out of date the longest is the empires one, I think.

So, by my estimate, Karn stands to become roughly 4.5 times taller if he uses the Gigantification (assuming his mastery of the technique is on par with Pybara's)
At that point, he would be roughly the size of an Oozaru. Just fucking think about it, we'll finally become a true raid boss.
>>
>>5495673
I cant wait to pull off that one against the Boi.
His fear levels would reach even bigger heights, scouters would break trying to measure the fear the Boi feels when faced with a gigantic Karn.

>Karn becomes Oozaru then uses Gigantifiction. suddenly finds he can't breath because his head is in the upper atmosphere. decides to fix this by battling sitting down.

Edited a few more, will hopefully have them all knocked out this week.

>>5495793
His focus is on that realm.
>>5495847
Not quite how it works
>>
>>5496042
As lame as it would be, gigantification probably wouldnt make much of a difference because of Oozaru only growing to a certain size out of neccessity, right? Great apes tend to be similar in size despite age from what I can tell.
>>
>>5496143
If you possessed super-elite levels of control over the Oozaru form, you could potentially use it AFTER transforming. But yes Oozaru generally come in only one size, as we saw with Bardock’s crew. Despitr their vast differences in sizes

>>5495770
How good are our kids at spirit control? Are broly and jr start in the same class?
>>
>mfw we learn to use gigantification the way goku used kaio-ken when he first arrived on namek
Fuckin' imagine instantly growing your body so that your fist is the size of a truck to connect your hits, then shrinking back to normal size in the next instant.
It'd be energy intensive but the enemy would be so psyched out by the tactic.

I don't know what theme people hear when they fight Karn, but I think that Karn hears Blood and Thunder by Mastodon every time Trunks or Chronoa show up. I just can't decide if facing Karn would get you something frantic and harsh to reflect the danger you're in or slower and oppressive because he's basically a looming unstoppable force.

I like to imagine that in any PQ that Karn is present in that doesn't have you drop instantly into a fight there's just some ominous background noise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8f9YrtcPtDQ

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 187 Epilogue I-

AGE 752, DREADZONE ARENA

“Getting nervous kid?” Soba asks you through your scouter as the dropship flies through the air, the in-flight “entertainment” showing some amateur getting folded by some of the easiest Dreadzone robots.
“Nah, I'm good.” you reply, taking a deep breath to still your mind and focus your spirit for the fight ahead. “I'm ready.”
“Oooooh, and that's it for the Incredible Morb!” Dallas calls out, the crowd cheering the amateur's fall. As the remains of the unlucky one are kicked off into the lava, you can almost feel the atmosphere change. “Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan nooooooooow! IT'S TIIIIIIIME! THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!”

“CHAAAAA-YAAAAA! CHAAAAA-YAAAA!” you can hear them chanting outside even from within the dropship.
“Now, back from her training out in the mysterious reaches of space!” Dallas continues. “You know her, you love her!”
“CHAYA!” they both say as the dropship's door opens, you step out into the spotlight once more. The cheers of the crowd are deafening, you feeling it swelling deep in your chest. You'd planned on playing it cool, walking out focused entirely on the goal ahead. But as they call out to you, you feel a pull it in your chest. Deep, deep down, deep into your soul from where you tap into that divine power. So, as you walk forward, stepping forward into the center of the ring, you raise both hands clenched into fists overhead.

“And to the deafening roars of the crowd, Chaya raises both fists over her head in a clear sign of victory!” Dallas calls out, the cheers turning from a low roar to a deafening assault on your ears. “Looks like she's ready to fight, wait hold on. What happened to her tail?”
“Probably lost in a battle on some far away world while she was training in isolation for her comeback.” Juanita says, you lower your arms and skipping from one foot to the other while rolling your shoulders, getting the blood flowing. “Her first-round back should definitely show whether or not this time away was good for her or not. This first round ought to be interesting.”

“That it will Juanita, as our former champion will be facing the Ancient Gear enemies today!” Dallas shouts as dozens of drop boxes fall from the sky, each one opening with a crash to reveal the same mechanical, almost unfinished-seeming machines by the dozens. And for a moment, your mind goes right back to that day.
>>

>>5498428
But you shake it off after a moment, planting your feet and clenching your fists tight as you focus your power. Then with a surge of energy you explode up into your Ascended form, golden aura blazing and sending the nearest machines toppling back from the sudden shock waves. Your sudden pressure exerted knocks several of the dropping boxes off course, a few slamming into the energy shields protecting the audience and then falling down into the lava below, much to the crowd's delight.

“Alright, solid entrance. This'll show them all that you mean business. Now, let's get to work.” the former-undefeated Champion Soba says, you shifting into your Djem So fighting stance.
“The wait is over folks, let's see what she's got!” Dallas calls out, your muscles tensing as you prepare to move. “Aaaaaaaand begin!”
“NOW!” you think to yourself, crossing your arms and gathering power. But, remembering what happened the first time you'd used your ki after learning Spirit Control, you only release a small amount of ki from your body by throwing both arms out with a shout. “HAAAAAA!”

Your energy shoots out from you in all directions in a wave of power, obliterating dozens of the closest machines instantly. The ones further away are blasted back, slamming into the energy shield guarding the audience from the carnage in the arena before falling down into the lava outside the fighting stage. The audience is stunned into silence for a moment before exploding into even louder roaring cheers. In less than a second you've cleared out the entire wave, using only a whisper of your power. With your ki now under much greater control thanks to Soba's training in his people's ways, you could fire that same blast a thousand more times before even feeling it. And as more and drop pods fall to the stage, more Ancient Gear robots emerging, you can't help but smirk. Damn, it feels good to be back!

-MEANWHILE, IN THE CHAMPION'S BOX-

“Wow, she's going full power immediately.” Visha says, Tanya grumbling to herself as the two watch the fight unfold. From the box, Chaya's performance appears absolutely overwhelming. She doesn't show any mercy and doesn't do her usual schtick of dancing around her opponents to show off before finishing them. Instead, she's fighting like a warrior, each attack as precise as it is devastating. “But something seems, I dunno, off?”
>>

>>5498430
“So you noticed as well.” Tanya says, the older subordinate turning to her shorter superior as Tanya continues studying Chaya's moves. “Good. You're growing more aware.”
“But I dont' get it.” Visha says, looking back to the fight. “Why is she going straight to her strongest form already? That only gives us the chance to study her power, and see what she's capable of.”
“Because this isn't her full strength.” Tanya says, bringing a hand to her chin as a giant Ancient Gear Golem is dropped down by several dropships working together. Yet before the ships have even left that airspace, Chaya's already ripped one of its legs off. And quickly beats it to death, smashing the machine to the crowd's cheers. “She's sending a message.”

“A message?” Visha asks, turning back to the commander she'd follow down into the depths of hell itself for. “What message could she be sending?”
“It's a threat.” Tanya says as the battle ends, Chaya turning towards the Champion's box and pointing a single finger up at it.
“What's this? It would seem that Chaya's calling out our current Champion Tanya, as if saying 'you're sitting in my seat'.” Dallas shouts excitedly. “Looks like the Red Knight has competition for that coveted throne!”
“Her message is simple.” Tanya says, rising to her feet and looking down at Chaya with her teeth gritted. “She's saying that her previous final form is the LEAST of her newfound strength. Showing off the growth of her power in the last form we'd seen, while showing that she's still got something held back. A new power we haven't seen her use before. Either her mother or father's strongest transformation, no doubt.”

“Ohh, I see.” Visha says, nodding her head in understanding. “She isn't showing off her new powers to keep us guessing what her full potential COULD be.”
“Precisely.” Tanya replies, feeling disturbed at this new level of intelligence the former champion is displaying. She's never been one to plan out things like this, to intentionally send messages with her fighting in this subtle manner. Which is far more disturbing to Tanya. If she's gotten this much more clever than she was before, on top of being stronger, then she may be in real danger. This thought worries the young woman for the next several weeks, keeping her awake at night.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 187 Epilogue I End-
>>
>>5498433
I still wonder what Tanya's motivations to even become the Dreadzone Champion were. Not being all that familiar with her canon material, I assumed she only wanted to get rid of her local stalker God, but now that she's siphoning his power, she seems to be letting the "power" from being Vox's main lackey get to her head.
>>
>>5498433
>or father's strongest transformation
Don't see how she came to that conclusion. she ain't even wearing green let alone glow green
>>
>>5498435
She went to Dreadzone as she figured arena combat against professionals was likely less lethal than becoming a warrior. But after being 'subordinate' to Chaya's immature whims, she grew frustrated and wanted to kick Chaya out so she didn't have to deal with her anymore.
>>5498463
Because according to the old records Karn's 'regular' Super Saiyan form wasn't affected by unlocking his Berserker form for literal years.
>>
>>5498433
I love that Chaya learning how not to eat crayons and shit sparkle lasers on her enemies is enough to terrify Tanya
>>
>>5498477
And now she made Chaya a monster
>>
>>5498502
Before Chaya'd be rather.... Direct. Flat-out stating her intentions, as she did with the gesture up at the Champion's box. But this attitude shift is worrying for Tanya.
>>5498507
Oh yes she has.
>>
>>5498380
A little bit worse than that.
The SA-X is an X-parasite that infected Samus, and then went on to consume a bunch of other creatures on the station. X-parasites integrate the DNA and memories of everything they infect, all coordinated under a malevolent drive that only wants to consume and spread more and more.
It‘s not only as strong as Samus was at the time of infection, but even stronger from every other creature it assimilated.
It only has two natural weaknesses: extremely low temperatures, and getting its lifeforce/energy drained. You don’t get access to that until super late.
>>
>>5498709
Sure but after a point in describing something people tend to tune it out. I got the important bits out.
>>
Jusst a reminder there will be NO SCQ episode this weekend, the next arc starts(tentatively) Christmas Eve the 24th! Second epilogue dropping hopefully this weekend at some point, and may have a third. Trying to cover several characters’ perspectives through the short skip, events not revealed to Karn when they happened. Including the birth of Tomitsu.

>>5498709
So the Flood, Phyrexia, etc?
>>5498720
>Sure but after a point in describing something people tend to tune it out
That people do.
>>
>>5499193
>So the Flood, Phyrexia, etc?
Yeah pretty much. Put it up there with Tyranids and such as well in terms of the threat it poses to all sentient life in the Galaxy.
>>
>>5499193
Yes, but with the stipulation that it's all the DNA that each individual x-parasite consumed.
So while one x-parasite on its own might have consumed an entire galaxy's worth of critters and be insanely strong, another individual parasite might have only consumed worms as is comparatively weak as shit. And there's no organization or communication between x-parasites really, not until they eat intelligent beings and think to work together at least. Even then, they seem kind of inclined to go their own way to accrue the most personal power.
>>
>>5499297
Were there not multiple instances of individual X-Parasites combining to form extremely powerful amalgams?
>>
>>5499317
Yeah, but those were ones that had acquired intelligence.
There's too many instances of them just being solitary enemies for me to think that they're naturally inclined to group up.
>>
>>5499326
Fair point. While I am curious to know more about them, it's probably better that they remain mostly unknown. Much scarier that way.

>>
>>5500588
Not by much actually. The boost to the effects of your energy attacks is amplified by the increased power, but other than that not much else changes.
>>5500617
He was offered but has been dedicated to a different course of study. Let's just say Ainz and Chilli have been learning quite a lot from each other since their truce was reached.
>>5500632
Surprisingly not. He's been through the fires of clown hell, and has emerged a stronger person.
>>
>>5500584
I'm hoping thanks to Spirit Control she could push her SS3 far beyond and evolve it further like Goku Black Crimson edition.
>>
>>5500681
Not quite. Rosé can be edited like that, but for regular 3 we don’t actually know. As for Meloka, she’s not working on enhancing 3 any more than she has.
>>
This spirit control talk reminds me of the time that Toriyama spoke of the "base" super saiyan being able to be mastered far enough to be stronger than ssj2 and ssj3 on account of the latter two being powered up versions of ssj. That's probably not how it works in the quest but I just thought how neat it would be to just use one perfectly balanced transformation, and how cool it would be if Beserker could do that too. If such a thing could exist, I'd vote to call it Full Power Super Saiyan (For Real This Time)

>for regular 3 we don’t actually know
You've added Demon Super Saiyans a long time ago, and I would love to see more unique transformations from you. Saiyans evolve according to their needs and specializations and their circumstances, so for everyone to go the SS -> SS2 -> SS3/Primal route would be boring. I want to see viariability from numerous special individuals. I want Vegeta to develop a lower-mass more Ki oriented Blaster Primal sub-transformation, I want Nappa to go full murderhobo and tack the Ultra sub-transformation onto SSJ3, I need to find out more about Chili's Super Saiyan magic release state, and so much more. And lord above, give the forgotten Cold Clan members some fun transformations that aren't Gold. Fuck it, let Arctus achieve oneness with the Force and give Cooler God Ki.
>>
>>5500750
Someone might be planning to go down that sort of path.
>>5500765
>unique transformations
You mean uniques aside from the Demonic line and the Apex? To be fair one of those has been canonized already, but we'll see what happens. As for the kids, I'm sure they'll travel some unique paths to power.
>>
>>5500799
Speaking of uniques, couldn’t we also develop our own transformation technique like recoome and roshi did?
>>
>>5500826
It would be cool if Karn could develop his own original method of boosting his power output, but I think our chosen passive and expertise in punching above our weight classes make it less of a priority.
Not to mention our existing transformations are already twice as good as anything most other Saiyans can get.
>>
you know if Karn now learns kaio-ken from cell he'd be even more terrifying. although I will admit the red and green aura combining to make brown would be appropriate (mostly from making his enemies shit themselves) we could even heal the damage kiao-ken does to the body.
>>
>>5500915
Super Saiyan Poo
>>
>>5500826
Recoome spent every year since witnessing Super Saiyan for the first time trying to develop his technique.
And Roshi, well. His situation is different.
>>5500840
Once you hit the next level with the ritual, output won’t be a problem.
Twice as good, with the implied caveat of “If you can handle it.”
>>5500915
No. Berserker and Kaio-Ken do NOT mix. At least not for more than a second before you turn into that hunter from the most disturbing Buu saga death.
>>
>>5500937
If we were to just do the Ritual and unlock True Berserker 3 ahead of time, would Whis even bother warning Beerus?
>>
>>5500915
>>5500937
Yeah, it mixes even less than regular SS and kaio-ken.
Remember? It requires a calm and steady heart to use. That's why Kaio-ken is suited to SSG/SSB, but highly unsuited to SS.
Berserk would be even worse than that because you're constantly fighting rage.
Maybe if you can go beyond rage and achieve stillness, but that's down a long and arduous path.
>>
>>5501340
If you were to do it early, New Salda WOULD be destroyed. No one else currently in your timeline/universe is strong enough to stop that form, and by the time you’d regained control of yourself it’d be too late.
>>5501346
More SSB than SSG, but yes. And perhaps.
>>
>>5501361
Well, what if we didn't do in this timeline? Future Chaya and Ace would be enough to wrangle Karn then, right?

>If you were to do it early, New Salda WOULD be destroyed. No one else currently in your timeline/universe is strong enough to stop that form, and by the time you’d regained control of yourself it’d be too late.
The transformation pastebin must be way out of date then since going by the math there True Golden Freeza should still be able to hand us our ass.

If I remember correctly, the Pastebin only has the False Berserker 3 form listed for Karn. GD's said before that the true version of that transformation is much stronger.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 187 Epilogue II-

AGE ???, TOWA'S REALM

“Perfect. Now, do it again!” you hear, from the doorway that you'd just passed by. Turning back, you walk back over to it and slide the door open only to see your twin children Tatsu and Tomi standing a precise distance apart, arms held in a familiar pose as Perfect Cell instructs them. “Match your ki, merge your thoughts, and.... Begin!”

“FUUUUUUUU-!!” they start, moving perfectly in sync. They swing their arms in a half circle overhead as they step precisely towards each other, then raise their close knees and swing their arms back before forming an arch with their bodies, fingertips touching at perfect, identical angles. “SION! HAAAAAAAA!!”

As their fingers touch, both of your kids bodies flash with blinding light as their energies merge once more. But you can tell something's different this time. Their power isn't just combined, but to your shock their bodies actually begin merging. Your jaw drops as your oldest twins merge into a single being, their power rolling off of them in waves. Then, as the light fades, you see their combined bodies for the first time. Standing above where the two had touched fingertips is the twins new merged form, lightning crackling around them inside their massive golden aura. Their combined form stands there a moment, then looks down at their hands in surprise.

“So this is what it feels like. To have my own body.” the merged being says, its voice a mixture of both of the twins. When the twins first started 'merging' their minds and power, they had created a third personality or something within them. But as the being looks itself over, you realize that it is that personality now inhabiting that body.
“Tomitsu?” you ask, the merged child looking over at you. “Is that you?”
“Me-Mom?” the merged being says, walking over as if in a daze. They reach out to you, you embracing this child you've never actually held before. You hold it for several seconds before feeling the child wanting to be let go. So you do so, letting them back up a step or two. “I...I did it. I got my own body.”

“That you did. It only took you three weeks here, but you've finally done it.” Cell says, the bug man walking over and laying a hand on the fusion's shoulder. “So, why don't you test it out?”
“Good idea. Mom, would you mind helping me?” Tomitsu asks, turning back to you. “I've never actually succeeded yet in making my body right, so I have no idea what I can do.”
>>
>>5501875
“Sure thing.” you reply, clenching your fists and bursting up to full power. Your golden aura blazes wildly as your own bio-electricity crackles around you, hair flashing back up to the full length of Super Saiyan Three. You then take your fighting stance, arms up and ready. “Show me what you've got, Tomitsu.”
“Gladly!” the merged warrior says, not actually taking a fighting stance at first. Then after a few seconds of clearly thinking it over, the warrior takes a stance close to your husband's. You stare down your older merged twins, waiting several seconds for a move, then decide to press them. Kicking off the ground, you instantly close the distance and slam your jabbing left fist into Tomitsu's blocking left forearm.

“Heh.” Tomitsu says with a smirk, shoving you off. Instead of going back you spin, twisting clockwise as the fusion jabs towards you with a right. You spin past him, swinging your elbow at their temple. But the twins merged body is fast, ducking the elbow then throwing a right uppercut at your chin. Flipping backwards you narrowly avoid the blow, landing back on your hands while kicking up at their chin. But Tomitsu flips backwards as well, both of you landing on your hands then springing back up to your feet simultaneously. Then as you land, the two of you launch yourselves immediately back towards each other. For the next several minutes you spar with the twins merged body, losing track of the time. Then as you both clash again, flipping back from each other and landing on your feet, Tomitsu holds up a hand. “That was a great warm up. But I think it's time to go all-out!”

“Oh?” you ask, wondering if the merged twins can actually take on your Super Saiyan Three. They clench their fists, powerlevel spiking as you can feel their strength rising. Higher and higher the twins merged power goes, you watching as their hair starts growing down their back. But then their entire body glows golden, then to your and clearly their shock, split back apart into their two unique bodies.

“Huh?” Tatsu says, glancing aside confused.
“What?” Tomi asks, looking around with his brows furrowed. For the first time in a long time they're not talking in perfect sync, no doubt confused by the sudden split of their fusion.
“Looks like you ran out of time.” Cell says, the three of you all looking over to him for an explanation. The bug man explains that the fusion is held together by the ki of the fused warriors, and that the more energy used while fused reduces the time one can remained fused. “And most importantly, once your fusion expires, there is a cooldown period of thirty minutes as well before one can re-fuse. However, if your fusion's time was reduced due to using up their power early, then you can re-fuse earlier by the same amount of time.”

“So, using more power means we don't stay fused as long?” they ask, the two of them now back to speaking together again as Cell nods.
“Indeed. However, if you were to somehow gain access to Divine Ki, such as with Super Saiyan God or Chaya's form, then the fusion dance wouldn't fall apart no matter how much of that power you use.”
“Really?” you ask him, shocked. “Divine power wouldn't split their fusion?”
“No. However, if they had used the Potara to fuse, then using divine power would reduce that fusion's timer.”

“Potara?” the twins ask, no doubt not knowing what he means. He then, to your complete shock, fires his Clothes Beam at his other hand. And as the light fades, reveals that he's made a set of earrings similar to those the Kais wear.
“These. How the Time Patrollers fuse themselves together mid-battle without that dance. However, I cannot make working Potara. They are divine relics, and I'm not a divine item smith after all.”

“So, what you're saying is, next time we fight the Time Patrol we need to cut one of those fusions' heads off.” you say, cracking your knuckles as Cell chuckles.
“Taking down a Vegito would be a problem. However, fortunately for you, you all are getting the tools to do so back on Yardrat.” he says, instantly getting your full attention. “The key to defeating a fused warrior is Forced Spirit Fission. Doing damage to a fusion in such a way will drain the energy used to hold that fusion together, tearing it apart and reverting them back to their original people.”
“So, they can be beaten without Karn's Divine Dragon Force.” you say, looking down at and clenching your fist. “I can fight alongside him next time.”
“That you can.” Cell says, smirking at you as he nods. “That you can.”

-Meanwhile, in Another Room-

“You've gotten better, little brother.” Broly says to Maza, his tightly condensed emerald aura contrasting against the Primal Demon's dark aura as the two boys trade blows. Yet despite Maza's overwhelming power advantage, Broly doesn't budge with the taller boy's devastating hits, indeed they both seemingly take the same amount of force from each others' blows.
“HA! And you're taking more after Father every day.” Maza replies, the two continuing to throw heavy blows while the training room itself shakes and trembles and their father watches on, studying their progress and what both boys need to work on.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 187 Epilogue II End-
>>
So, to ask the important question, does Tomitsu look like a Ken doll, or a Slaaneshi demon?
>>
>>5501872
Fucking Time Cucks and their no fun.....could we maybe trick the Three Tards by saying pussy bitches, no balls?
>>
>>5501884
For our sake I pray Ken Doll.
>>
>>5501884
No idea. Tomitsu hadn't checked, as that's unimportant.
>>5501891
Chronoa herself would step in to stop that from happening.
>>
>>5501894
So your saying we have a way to bait Time Cunt?
>>
>>5501896
she'd likely just obliterate the timeline were in at the time instead, which is shit, but time cunt is a cunt.
>>
>>5501896
>bait
If you want someone in the ritual to IMMEDIATELY die, then yes. And as you and Chilli are the only Super Saiyans immune to time control...
>>5501905
Not with her people still in there
>>
>>5501911
>Not with her people still in there
Like that's a fucking problem with her
>>
>>5501915
It is a problem when she's facing a manpower shortage due to the war. Her forces are spread thin battling Mechikabura's people.
>>
>>5501922
Ahh, Mechikabura. On one hand, I'm not sure what him winning would entail for us. On the other, I REALLY want to see pinkie take the worst and LAST humongous L in her entire life. Why did the obviously evil demon timelord have to be so darn cordial and polite? Would've been a little easier if he was more of a prick, y'know?
>>
>>5501922
>It is a problem when she's facing a manpower shortage due to the war.
So she understands extremely basic long-term strategy at least. It's a shame she didn't relate any of that knowledge to Trunks.
On that note, is Mechikabura doing the smart thing and recruiting Generals that AREN'T retarded?
If he is, he should definitely talk to the King Cold of our timeline. I'm sure he'd be extremely helpful even in an advisory role. It's not like he has much else going on now anyways.
>>
>>5502188
Well, he did betray us, once, he has since learned his lesson.
>>
>>5502316
Does it count as betrayal if that was a different Karn and they were on the pink bitch's side before getting delyeeted?
>>
Assuming I have the reading comprehension of a small child, would Tomitsu's body last indefinitely if they had access to a Divine transformation like God or Blue?
And I had another question. Would the Potara Fusion still be Tomitsu? Or would it be Tatsomi? Taotsomu? Tatsomi?
>>
>>5502326
That last one was meant to be Tatsumi. I love how autocorrect will just take a new word it doesn't know and jam it in forever afterwards.
>>
Gotta be Tatsomi.
>>
>>5502188
True. After all, you have NO idea what his end goal is.
>>5502310
Mechikabura has a few trusted subordinates, and dozens more that are little more than rampaging beasts to keep the Time Patrol distracted. Like his two SS4 Brolys.
>>5502316
Yes. In the “first” reality Karn was on his side, then once Mechi got his wish betrayed Karn. SKoT offered Karn revenge, he accepted, then Karn was instrumental in his original defeat.
>>5502321
Original Mechi betrayed Karn and his other non-demon underlings once he reobtained his youth and power.
>>5502326
No. The Fusion Dance lasts up to 30 minutes. Using stronger, draining transformations like Ascended or SS3 burn through that power holding the body together.
Potentially. But currently no one you can ask IC knows how that’d work.
>>
>>5502357
Who ta thought the secret to success was not being a backstabbing fuck. But Mechi proves he has one more braincell to rub than Time Cunt, because she never stops.
>>
>>5502357
>>5502372
You would think chronoa would be the type to learn from the first timeline and find a way to bring Karn to her side early, but I guess she's too smoothbrained for that.
Really, it'd be infinitely easier for her to have tried it during his very first near-death experience instead of trying to convince him after a multitude of incidents where her agents tried to get his family killed.
>>
>>5502378
Sticking her foot in her mouth was the first incident, but if she just fucked off, it would be salvageable. But she didn't and now Towa knows Big Monkey Dick and has Huge Mom Energy. Pink Bitch fucked up by choice as often and as previously as possible. And learned nothing. I'm starting to think that one Pinky we killed set of a chain reaction of making her full retard.
>>
>>5502387
grievously*
>>
>>5502372
Mechikabura is definitely smarter than Chronoa, if only for the fact that he can learn from his mistakes.
Granted, he had to learn the hard way, but still.
>>
>>5502393
Pink Bitch keeps choosing the hard way and treats Karn like a singular Dark Souls boss that doesn't gain more boss events.
>>
Hey GD, what kinda magic has Ainz been sharing with Chilli?
I'm not familiar with his abilities beyond what's been shown in the Epilogues, so I'm curious.
A Necromancer would know something about binding and unbinding souls, right?
>>
>>5502372
>But Mechi proves he has one more braincell to rub than Time Cunt, because she never stops.
Why would she change anything? After all, aside from a few details, everything is going how it did before, the first time
>>5502378
Why would she do that? Especially when she believes Mechikabura will make the same mistakes again.
>>5502393
He learned by losing damn near everything.
>>5502397
Might be spoilers, so be warned. Ainz knows EVERY spell from the game he was in before being sent here. He has over seven HUNDRED unique spells in his repertoire, including some he doesn’t actually have the class levels to actually use. But he collects knowledge and prizes it quite highly. Trading magic spells like trading cards with the young Saiyan. Some of his subordinates have questioned the decision, but Demiurge has convinced them it is all part of the great one’s plan.
>>
>>5502428
I'm asking specifically if Ainz knows a spell that can forcibly dislocate a soul from its corporeal body and whether or not he'd be willing to teach Chilli how to do that.
>>
>>5502434
Why? You have to say it
>>
>>5502428
>the first time
So bitch really think she's gonna get Karn in her pocket, despite how she treats him, because she thinks Mechi is gonna backstab him again and he'll go to her with no consequences? Bitch is in for a rude awakening. The rudest awakening ever. Followed by the most brutal fisting ever.
>Ainz and Chilli paling around
Meh, not to much a fan of Ainz and the weird shit his squad gets up too, but if he makes them look at Chilli's stats like he can, they may wise up to the fact his daddy is stronger, and his boss is stronger than that. But they may just pressure Ainz into trying to subvert us until Chilli tells them to stay in their lane.
>>
>>5502447
Aight, I'll lay it all out on the table then.
I want to permanently destroy Xeno Goku or Xeno Vegeta. The idea being that we hit their soul with DDF directly.
>>
>>5502450
Pinky is gonna stop that and steal the kills, but what else is new.
>>
>>5502451
Hence why The Plan rests on the shoulders of two people who can move in stopped time.
And maybe Kars if we can introduce him to Towa.
>>
>>5502455
We are not introducing that bug fuck to our second wife, and sure as shit not letting him near our kids.
>>
>>5502448
Yes.
The way Demiurge explained it, the Great One is trying to win the Saiyan to their side instead of battling, then stabbing him in the back when his usefulness has expired. May or may not be his actual plan.
>>5502450
What you’re wanting does exist, but both Ainz can’t teach it and the task is impossible as you plan. To FORCIBLY eject a soul requires the user to be so much stronger than the target as killing them is easy. Chilli could potentially do it to canon Namek-saga Freeza in his Super Saiyan form, if he ever learned such, but soul magic isn’t in his wheelhouse.
>>5502455
Don’t bring Kars into a war between divine and demon. He would pick a side.
>>
>>5502473
by the way why did "Original Karn" join/work with Mechikabura. also did original karn have his own Meloka or just sleep around like a typical Saiyan.
>>
>>5502357
>Yes. In the “first” reality Karn was on his side, then once Mechi got his wish betrayed Karn. SKoT offered Karn revenge, he accepted, then Karn was instrumental in his original defeat.
Oh damn, I don't know how I missed such a crucial detail. I bet Mechikabura nearly had a coughing fit from laughter later on when we iced an iteration of the Supreme Cunt of Time.
>>
>>5502473
>To FORCIBLY eject a soul requires the user to be so much stronger than the target as killing them is easy.
So all we have to do is defuse Gogeta or Vegito, beat one of the halves within an inch of their life so their ki level drops and THEN somehow perform the spell without any time nigger interference and use DDF to fucking merc them before Time Bitch turns the other way and blows the whistle. Easiest plan yet.
>>
>>5502473
Alright well there goes that plan. I do have another magic related question though.
I know Karn doesn't have what it takes to learn magic, but what about DDF?
>>
>>5502578
I dont watch jojo but stands are a psychic projection of the user or something right? They don't seem to have total autonomy or any special skills they're capable of learning that isn't stand specific. You could probably wish for DDF to be able to perform magic but like Why
>>
>>5502476
Spoilers
>>5502512
Was an older epilogue. And he did enjoy watching that play out.
>>5502520
It won’t work.
>>5502578
No. And no, if you wish it to be able to use magic it would lose other powers.
>>5502683
Divine Dragon Force can gain abilities, at the cost of losing others. From what I can see, probably don’t want to gamble and risk losing what it can do now
>>
>>5502706
>probably don’t want to gamble and risk losing what it can do now
Bold of you to assume I'm not the type who would use his lottery winnings to buy more lottery tickets.
>>
>>5502708
Anon, as fun as it would be to tempt the dice, we have no idea what DDF's recharge limit is for wishes. We never checked. Only time it came back from a wish naturally was during the siege on the remnants, and our wish was just to escape a spooky cave. It took a long fucking time for it to come back after that. I dont even know if the timer is uniform for all wishes or if "bigger" ones take longer to recover from. I really dont want to get caught in a jam like LER and not have a do-over in my deck.
>>
>>5502751
this, DDF wish is our last resort oh shit button, not something to be used triflingly, it has an unknown cooldown duration and it's really really damn powerful.
>>
>>5502708
Had a friend who did that. We were heading up to a card shop years ago, both got like 3-5 dollar scratchers. Fucker won $50, bought another single ticket and won $100. Lucky asshole. My BEST gambling win was $2. On a $3 ticket.
>>5502751

It is something calculable now. To a point.

-Saiyan Conqueror Quest Remnants Epilogue-

AGE ???, CRACK OF TIME

“Here's the fourth Dark Dragon Ball.” your most loyal Towa says, kneeling and holding out the dark orb towards you. Which you take from her outstretched hand via telekinesis, the orb floating directly into your hand. “Unfortunately, the Time Patrol managed to gather two of them. Leaving only one left unobtained.”
“Excellent work.” you tell her reassuringly, waving your hand and creating a temporal one-way seeing area through the orbs. Which reveals that the Supreme Kai of Time Chronoa has set them both on a pedestal within the Time Nest itself, overlooking the table with a varied assortment of Time Scrolls on it, the Kai looking them over. “Soon, it will be time to infiltrate the Time Patrol, and retrieve what is mine.”

“That is great news, my lord.” she replies, looking back up to you. But then her expression clouds, brows furrowing. “But the temporal shield prevents entry into Conton City. How do we get in?”
“In due time. For now, we shall wait for the final Dark Dragon Ball to be revealed.” you tell her, opening another one-way viewing portal. This time opening a line to the planet called New Salda, where your secret weapon is training his fellow Saiyans. “And for our secret weapon to mature.”
“Forgive me, my lord. But why do you place such importance on a single, lowly Saiyan?” she asks you, a fearful note in her tone as she questions you. “There are far stronger warriors already on our side, such as those Brolys, and even his daughter with that red fur'd form.”

“That is true, there are those who serve me who are stronger.” you reply, turning the screen back in time to the last fight. And watch again as he strikes her with his Stand, Divine Dragon Force. You savor the look of confusion that turns to absolute fear, the Kai using everything she can think of but still is quickly erased. “But how many of them have managed to kill that one?”
“Ah-!” she exclaims, having not seen that battle as she'd been frozen in time at this point thanks to the Kai's power. “N-No way. He...He actually did it? How??”
“This is who we're waiting for.” you tell her, changing the time through the portal once more. This time to his fight on Planet Namek, where with Freeza's 'help' he once more partially tapped into that anti-divine power lurking within him. “This. His power is still growing, still blossoming. But in a few more short years, his true might will be shown.”

“Such power...” Towa says, shocked. Then after a moment turns back to you. “Wait, you said his power was incomplete?”
“Indeed.” you reply, again fast-forwarding the sight. This time you move it up to Age 757, when Beerus of Universe 7 will clash with him.

“GRRRAAAAAAAA!!” Karn roars, surging towards the Destroyer God. The two swing at each other, fists clashing and unleashing a shock wave that blasts those watching below back. All except for his wife, wielding the divine power of Super Saiyan God as she charges up behind her husband.
“This is what we're waiting for.” you tell her as the two Saiyans continue battling the god. “Once he's learned to fully harness this power, we shall invade Conton City, and destroy Chronoa and her Time Patrol once and for all.”

It's also hilarious that Chronoa clearly recognizes that history is repeating itself, but doesn't find anything unusual about that. I can't wait for Mechikabura to break the cycle so we can watch her break down in a panic.

Honestly she's still kind of stupid, even if she has a secret plan.
>>
>>5506395
Very true. The more intricate the worse the screwup
>>5506438
>still kind of
More than kind of. Instead of putting the future into a better position to prevent the battle just before she erases everything, with all she knows of the future, instead she’s focusing on winning that final fight indisputably.
>>
>>5506450
>instead she’s focusing on winning that final fight indisputably
Oh my god. That is so in-character it fucking hurts.
You've got to let us get into a position to tell the Time Patrol the truth of things at some point because HOLY SHIT.
>>
>>5506450
So when we raid them, can we ask Towa for a highlite real of all the crimes Pink Bitch did?
>>
>>5506450
Pinkie you stupid fuck
You don't give him a round two, you cancel the fight and shitstomp him in advance! Could you IMAGINE if we were retarded enough to waste a wish on rematching LER? Thats what this sounds like.
>>
>>5506735
I mean, for all practical intent and purposes, it kinda is.

You calling Chronoa "Pinky" put the image of pic related in a Supreme Kai of Time costume into my head and I can't stop laughing.

24 hours to go until the new arc begins!

>>5506454
We’ll see
>>5506504
No, that’s not the plan
>>5506735
She’s not a warrior
>>
>>5506765
Well she is a drolling animal from hell, so it does fit.
>>5506800
>Not the plan
Maybe not Mechi's, but no reason we can't do it for our extra plan.
>She’s not a warrior
She's not intelligent either, being a warrior isn't a prerequisite to having common sense.
>>
>>5506800
>She’s not a warrior
Or a particularly competent general for that matter.
As far as I know, the only thing she's ever done to demonstrate competency was eggsit.
>>
>>5506988
Hasn't she failed at that too? Only "saving it" with time travel?
>>
>>5506988
She did raise her Tokitoki from an egg, unlike Mechikabura who isn’t a nurturer by nature.
>>5507054
No, she only time traveled after others had.
>>
>>5507073
Women.
>>
>>5507073
I still don't understand what the fuck raising a bird has to do with overseeing the natural flow of time.
Like I get that Tokitoki shits out timelines, but why was the job handed off to whoever could look after the bird better? That makes no sense to me.
Wouldn't the role be better suited to the most uncompromising enforcer or the strongest warrior?

Bro, this is a series where a talking cat grows the magic beans and guards the ultra-power poison water.
>>
>>5507159
To be fair, the secret juice doesn't need much protection given how it (supposedly) kills everybody. As for the beans, if he can grow them consistently I don't see why he shouldn't be in charge of doing so.
>>
>>5507099
Aeos may have had a bit of a bias as to her heir.
>>5507153
If you can’t care for the source of new timelines, you clearly can’t care for the timelines it makes.
>>5507159
Korin is great.
>>5507161
He is the bean cat

Soon
>>
Once again, I am work on Christmas Eve. Looking forward to the session at least.
>>
>>5507539
Oof. Well, we'll be here anon. Not sure how many will actually be here for this weekend's run, but I'm going to run for you all.
>>
>>5507546
I've never let work keep me from a session before, plus I was one of the anons who said "Yeah bro give me that Christmas session!".
>>
It's time!
