Hexbound is a (mostly) diceless system. So long as you are not attempting to perform anything difficult you'll execute reliable results. Difficult tasks you wish to perform will require a 1d6 roll that adds the relevant stat, such as [DEF] to pick a lock or [STR] to push a rock over. Character facing is relevant at all times, and the grid is hex based meaning coordinates are always locally tied to the user. North is 1, and South is 4, for example. If you wanted to move North once then Northeast twice then you can simplify the input as >move 122.

If you would like to play, then fill out a duplicate of this blank pawn sheet to then reply to this post for easy reference. Your character will be given a designation based on their class and order of arrival as proof of being checked. You may also declare your first turn of 2 actions while posting your sheet for review in order to >Arrive or >>Appear on the map as you so choose.

Please be sure to at least glimpse over all class options, as notes for how to play are placed at their most relevant locations. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in thread for party discussion and official confirmation. After all, you are part of a group, and all players are responsible for the successes and failures incurred by the party.

A new dungeon has been scouted, and a town portal has been opened for investigation. However, there seems to be clues of a thought to be vanished farmer present in this dungeon. Your [Quest] to clear the dungeon is to [Find & Return Old Don to Town]. You may also [Subjugate Threats] & [Loot Resources] by party discretion to help improve your town. The town scholar is also [Looking for Scrolls] and has posted an apprenticeship opportunity as a reward.

If for whatever reason you need to leave the field, you may >>Quit. Keep in mind that if you >>Quit you will be denied credit for the current event, preventing XP gain and forfeiting any event acquired inventory. You may then return to the dungeon as soon as the current event has finished using standard >Arrive or >>Appear methods.

With that, the portal beckons...

I'm going to allow 70 minutes from this post for players to review, fill out sheets, and ask their questions before processing. Expect turns to be processed fast, and rotations to take place within 30 minutes after this one has finished.

Can you do the same action twice? Does movement count as an action? What does it mean to defend? Would you gain the bonuses from Omega title when you move 2 or less or 2 or more? Do the different weapons use different stats to deal damage? What is the “Y” symbol under Thrust, and the symbol to the left of the Armor symbol under Thrust? What are the symbols that look like a clover and Z under Fate Kite and Veil Kite respectively?

>>5517320
>>5517262
But what's in the bag? It's a surprise!
>>
>>5517323
>Can you do the same action twice?
•If it's not an attack or cast skill, yes. Attack skills and casting a spell puts it on cooldown for the turn, preventing a second use during the phase. If you >Overwatch something that goes on cooldown, then it'll be readied for as soon as the cooldown expires; allowing the duplicate input to be cast twice in a turn cycle with one per phase (Action and Dungeon).

>Does movement count as an action?
•Your >Move action gives you the 3 movement tiles, so yes. Movement effects grant movement tiles without requiring an additional action.

>What does it mean to defend?
•Defend is both a >Focus input and a >Guard input. Focus converts lucidity to deft, and guard converts deft to armor. Because of this, it is essentially converting both lucidity and deft into arm for the turn, allowing for a very cautious means to survive a dangerous turn.

>Would you gain the bonuses from Omega title when you move 2 or less or 2 or more?
•'Omega' reads as "If movement is less than or equal to 2; then gain a boon of 2 strength and 1 reach" though I do realize I put the symbol on the wrong side.

>Do the different weapons use different stats to deal damage?
•When you >Attack you can pick a stat to attack with, determining damage type as well. STR is mundane damage, POW is arcane, and DEF is precision. Remember: DEF is ablative, meaning it is reduced by 1 each time it is used. It does refresh at the start of each action phase though.

Am I doing this right?
>>
>>5517323
>What is the "Y" symbol under Thrust, and the symbol to the left of the Armor symbol under Thrust?
•The "Y" is the key for the (You)ser, or (You)r character pawn. It's synonymous with a 'self' target, in effect. The symbol next to ARM is pierce, meaning the damage of Thrust will ignore armor if damage exceeds it.

>What are the symbols that look like a clover and Z under Fate Kite and Veil Kite respectively?
•Fate Kite provides Luck+1, meaning whenever you roll a die you'll roll an additional one and may choose either result. Veil Kite has a Sleep effect, inflicting the status effect on characters you damage with it, and providing resistance against it if Sleep would affect the wielder. Sleep forces >>Rest with a duration based on stack count, which is ablative when the afflicted is hit.

Hope that clarifies.

Welcome Alice. Your designation is [K1]. Make sure to separate wielded items to separate hands, and to include their stats and information lest they become ineffective. Your arrival inputs are valid, but you automatically turn to face towards your target when performing an action, so you don't need to change facing with a separate action.

>>5517355
>How does Lost title read?
•'Lost' provides DEF2 & ARM1, makes you vulnerable to rage, fear, and charm, and if you are blind to something; then you are vulnerable to it as well.

>Do the stat bonuses from gear all get added to your total or are they only used when you explicitly use the item (do I only get shield stats when I shield bash or something)?
•Highest wielded and all worn stats are added to your stat block. If you have DEF1 by default, then DEF3 is the largest DEF for wielded weapons, and DEF1 from your hat & DEF2 from your dress; then it should be shown as [DEF1+3+3] for base+wield+worn. If you have a stat buff that is temporary, then you can add that separately as well, and stat buffs also abide by highest benefit taking priority.

>>

You still need to include the skill descriptions and the special attack of your weapon
>>
>>5517397
Thrust is missing the self movement, and 'Alpha' only requires movement in the turn to be no more than 2. So yes, standing still will provide the title effect. Also I believe your stat block is grossly inaccurate. Separating to base+highest wield+worn should prevent these inaccuracies. Otherwise good to go.

>>5517404
Sheet is missing some information, and wielded items have their stats separated from values, so I'm not going to make any guarantees that results will be consistent if I get tired enough to be easily confused. The point of the mechanical format is to prevent misprocessing issues, and failure to abide by the format introduces unreliable results. It's also perfectly fine to change out things during chargen, since I only build off of the latest valid sheet.
>>
>>5517406

Apologies for the delay. While starting to process the turn I also noticed the Dodgeball wasn't updated with the introduction of precision damage type. Now it'll actually help you dodge attacks. and is a ranged option if you don't want to take Juggle!

>Dodgeball has been properly updated to reflect its Bow weapon type and behavior
•Dodgeball <Focus○> [POW1|SPD2] •Bounce >Throw (R4 Reach)
vv converted to vv
•Dodgeball <Bow○> [DEF1|SPD2|R3] •Bounce

This also means the dodgeball counts as a ranged weapon properly, and synergies will now be properly reflected. My apologies for the emergency patch. Any [F]ools who want to change their loadouts may do so for free next turn.

Forgot that strike speed gets improved on Bows, so it's got SPD3 instead of SPD2.

The arrival of a fledgling mage brings forth fresh Inspiration. Inspire (roll 1d6 and convert the roll 1 potency or stat boon of your choice. Ablative in use) A bountiful harvest of vegetables is added to the party stash, allowing secure holding and transfer between party members. Allies sharing the same bag space may share items freely with one another's permission. You can also >Trade any available items with other parties, permissions not withstanding. For example, you can offer a trade to a merchant using items the party has acquired, but each party member with an item you listed must accept the offer for any items held in their bag space. You may also choose to place items for general availability for free, which also frees up your bag spaces.

(The stuff on the sign is just the formula for whether you hit something, and whether that hit deals damage, and related things.)
(I think the top line just says that you pick whether you want your attacking stat to be Strength-based, Power-based, or Deft-based.)
(The Hit formula is: Your attack stat + your weapon's attack stat combine to become your Hit potency. If that Hit potency, minus your target's Deft, is greater than 1, you've hit your target.)
(The Damage formula is: Your attack stat + your weapon's attack - your target's Deft = your Damage potency. If your damage potency - your target's Armor is greater than 1, you've dealt damage.)
(Basically, there's a difference between a Hit and Damage. You might be able to Hit something that you can't Damage. Useful to know if you have something that applies status effects on Hit instead of on Damage, like my Ring spell.)

Ah, just now looked at the other classes since I didn't have time yesterday if I wanted to be timely. To be clear, even if we aren't a Fool we can still Focus, Block, and Defend, yes? I assume Focus and Blocking uses an action, but can we still attack if we use them? Presumably Defending means you can't attack, otherwise it would render Focus and Block redundant. I assume only mages can cast spells unless another class just so happens to learn one. Can anyone cook though? Sure, certain Chef skills can only be obtained by Chefs, of course, but can technically anyone use the Cooking mechanics? And do all characters of all classes start with a grocery allowance or just Chefs?

>>5518445
Thank you. Truly you are worthy of being a mage.
>>
>>5518431
>>5518445
(I omitted them for brevity, but there's also a couple extra formulas on that sign.)
(Top right just means that Deft is Ablative, meaning each time you use it it goes down by a point. (It comes back next turn.) This applies whether you use it offensively or defensively, IIRC.)
(Middle right is the formula for applying status off a Hit: If you hit, and your status potency minus the target's Lucidity is greater than 1, you apply a status.)
(Bottom right is the same, but for Damage instead, and skips the Lucidity check.)
>>
Confirming >>5518445 >>5518501 to be accurate, aside from the 'greater than' should be 'greater than or equal to'/'at least'.

>>5518486
Fool class has the highest risk between being close to melee range and having very little in terms of defensive options, also having the least amount of class specific information to include. Your assumptions on Focus, Block, and Defend are also accurate. Mages are the only ones that start with modifying spells, but you can acquire a partial spell through equipping gear which holds a spell, or multiclassing into mage to learn one from their list. Anyone can cook, but only a [C]hef can do so while in the field, and their recipes are more effective than if someone else made it. Chef's grocery allowance is the equivalent of mages having modular spell access right away, knights having their titles, and fools capable of inquiring with their Laughing Lady.

Question QM, for purposes of proper record keeping, what specifically are the effects of the toxin other than what has been explicitly mentioned? I wanna note in down under my status effects. How much damage does it deal if any, is it per turn, does it continue affecting you if you move outside the cloud, does it only apply or apply higher amounts of damage if you move through the cloud, is it the cloud itself that lasts for 3 turns or the effect on characters last for 3 turns even after leaving it, etc? I understand that our sight is limited, but does that mean that the picture we see is just showing the last known location of the last foe and the image is not actually representative of reality or is the picture accurate and we are just supposed to choose to act "in-character" as if we couldn't actually see the last spore soldier in the tunnel. All of this may change my action. For now I'll leave a preliminary action in case I don't catch your response so you have something to work with.

>Move through the toxin cloud, bunching up my tunic around my mouth and nose in an attempt to avoid breathing in the toxins. 222. Climbing the second Ring of Rock on the last tile of movement. (Doing two rolls, the first is a Lucidity check to try and resist the toxin with the shirt rag, the second is a STR roll to climb the rock on the last tile or Kool-Aid Man through it. Since you can't do two different modifiers in a single post, my STR is 2 and my LUC is 0.)

Also ©Cloud has a weakened startup state where placing it directly on top of a creature means it applies half potency, rounded down (x0.5p-). It's not stated on the sheet due to a lack of room available.

>[Adjusted] How does the damage work?
•The cloud applies 1 stack of toxin to occupants on formation. The thorns will inflict 1 damage and the full 3 pot of toxin stacks to anyone who enters a tile occupied by the cloud due to rules of collision and how thorns will proc from it. Exiting a tile occupied by the cloud will not apply thorns to the character, as collision does not proc on exit (only on entry attempts). 3 pot of toxin means it'll persist for 3 turns after application, (eff 4 turns).

>Our sight is limited, but does that mean that the picture we see is just showing the last known location of the last foe and the image is not actually [currently] representative?
•Nope, I run full clarity games where if you CAN see something it'll show up on the map. However, cover effects such as those produced by cloud and walls, effectively limit how far a character can see on a personal level. Cover itself allows one to sneak past overwatch inputs, block hate marker telegraphs, and makes ranged inputs potentially difficult to execute. It is a good idea to keep in mind how far your character's [LUC] will let you see, as choosing a target that [LUC] can't extend to with an input that requires a target to be visible (which is most target-based effects), then it

Okay, thank you. I was wondering what those little green circles with crosses in them were. The truth is I barely understand the mage rules, don't know what you can do with the various elements and boons, and don't understand a lot of the underlying rules for some of the less explicit elements of the skirmish. Plus, I forgot Fenster briefly mentioned how Inspire works in a previous turn. I guess that is my fault for not joining the discord, I'm just adverse to the idea.

(The purple/orange was just the damage you took: 1 from thorns, 1 from toxin, 1 from burning. The only bane you have on you now is Burning, due to standing on an anima bane rock. The skull is the Dying icon.)
(Spending Inspiration is a free action, so it doesn't eat up your other actions. You can only do them once per turn, though. I think. To be honest, Fen worded it kinda weirdly when I asked him about it... Not sure if you can spend multiple at once.)

(As for Boons and Banes, this google doc has info on all of the elemental-based ones: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dAndkw6j-0polUqkJO4_4jjJxn5r2Ag5Ypyi71ilf7U/edit#gid=400495865)

Thank you, you've been very helpful. Though now I've been left with some more questions. Like, what is Potency? Also, if I were to use inspire on a stat other than HRT, that is a pretty massive boost given it is a roll and the range of the stats is pretty low, I assume it is a temporary one turn buff, yes? Otherwise if you could buff yourself into infinity permanently then that would be pretty broken. If it is temporary, does that also mean that any inspiration used on HRT is essentially temporary hit points? If so, which expires first when hit, the temp HP or the real HP? I'm also a little confused because the 3 Anima Boon Inspire icons look more like the Glint element icon to me, maybe it is just 'cause they are small.

>>5521135
Ah, sorry if this is too late in the processing to change my actions, but if it is possible I like to make clarification/alterations to them if it isn't too much of a hassle on your end. M1's recent post enlightened me to some things.

>Since using Inspire apparently means you can only use one per turn and it is a free action, I'll only use one of them. Using the previous dice rolls is fine. I'm still using one despite Nicolas healing me because I would've done that anyways since I didn't know I was going to be healed.

>If I see the Spore Soldier and it is in melee range then Attack it with STR. If I see the Spore Soldier but it is out of melee range then I will throw my Blunt Mace at it with DEF. Since Blunt Mace does not naturally have a ranged stat, I will roll to be allowed to do this. (This is what the 1d6+3 is for) If I do not see the Spore Soldier at all then I will either attack whatever enemy I do see that is in range or if I do not see any enemies at all then I will Face in the direction of any noises I hear that sound like enemy footsteps.

(Potency is basically just the total effectiveness of an action. For instance, I have 3 POW by default, and then an extra 2 from my equipment, giving my spells a base potency of 5. If I had Aim (Glint boon), I'd then have 7 potency, though only for Hits and not Damage.)
(Inspiration buffs only last for one turn, yes. And as for temporary HRT, your current HRT is healed by the amount of max HRT you gain, but you don't lose any current HRT when you lose the max HRT unless it gets capped by your base max HRT. For instance, if you had 1/5 HRT and gained 5 from inspiration, you'd go up to 6/10 HRT for a turn, but then once it wore off you'd have 5/5 HRT.)

(I got some more clear info on how free inputs work: They're definitely one per *action*, not per turn, so as long as you stagger them you should be able to use multiple free inputs per turn.)
(Also, I just gave you Haste, which lets you use Overclock to gain an extra action. Overclock is a free input, though, so to make use of it and Inspire you'll first need to take an action before using the second one. I'd recommend using Inspire first to hopefully prevent getting hit by the overwatch.)
>>
>>5523704
>>5523680
Ha...thank you for the advice and game info, maybe I should've taken 'the Dense' instead of 'the Lost', haha. I'll admit to being confused on how status applications work because your earlier translation of the wooden sign made me think that if I was just Lucid enough that I could essentially just ignore status effects I was hit with. (and what are banes if not status effects?) I guess that may not apply to fear or weapon effects or has something to do with overwatch, I dunno? So, instead it seems like my best bet is just to boost Deft in an attempt to avoid being hit? Or perhaps throw my weapon, like I noted as a possible alternative earlier? Final questions, does the free input rules apply to Luck the same way it does to other free inputs, so I couldn't use it to boost my inspire like I attempted to do last turn? If so, does that mean since it was invalid I still have my Luck, or is Luck not an expendable resource like boon stacks, so you just always have it boosting your rolls if you haven't used your free input "slot" for the action.

Also, question, what triggers overwatch? Moving, even retreating away from the overwatcher? Attacking too, like with even a ranged attack? Does it cover only 3 hexes wide, as I am possibly falsely intuiting from the image of the spore soldier spraying 3 hexes? I also can't really read the info placard of the gun Nicolas just picked up, so I don't know if the spore soldier's overwatch extends 3 hexes towards me in addition to having 3 hexes width. I ask because I'm wondering if I can simply walk around the spore soldier's overwatch with Haste and hit him in flank or blindspot, but I'd need to know how far and wide the spore soldier's overwatch extends to do that.

Poor Charland, eaten by ticks. Hopefully I won't suffer a similar fate, I'd want it to be birds at least.

Actual...one more question, last one for now, promise. My Pawn Step gives me extra movement on my first move on EVERY Event turn, yes? I think I read too quickly at the start of the game or had a massive brainfart or something, because all this time I for whatever reason thought it was only on your Arrival turn and the FIRST turn of an Event. It's dumb because the text is actually pretty clear, but I got mixed up for some dumb reason.

>Does the free input rules apply to Luck the same way it does to other free inputs?
•Luck is a statistical trigger effect, so it'll proc ANYTIME you roll dice. Unlike a free input which is included with each action, stats and mandatory passives will apply so long as they are present on the character sheet.

>What triggers overwatch?
•The default trigger for a standard overwatch is 'if a hostile moves in sight; then attack the hostile' which is why you'd be able to move forward one tile before getting struck by their attack.

>Can I just walk around the spore soldier's overwatch?
•If you're already inside their attack range AND line of sight, then you'll trigger their overwatch if you voluntarily move in any direction. As for knowing how far and/or wide it is: you can assume it's about as far as they've shot someone so far, and about as wide a facing arc that pawns have as well.

•Pawn step is actually supposed to only give its stacking benefit of +1 movement tile on Arrival & Event turns for the first turn of those time frames. It's meant more a means to let the knights reposition a bit easier if something happens, and is not suppose to be as frequent a boon as the natural +1 movement tile on the first move input.

A well formulated plan sent awry by one misstep in execution, and the first casualty of the party comes to stain their record by negligence. A moment of silence for Charland...

[The Dungeon proceeds...]
>>
>>5525969
Well...that is exceptionally exasperating. I've been stuck more or less in the same place for what feels like forever. I guess we can try that again this turn? Am I even alive, from what I can read, I was at 2 HRT, healed for 3, and took 7 damage...shouldn't I be dead? Honestly, if I had not been foolish enough to do a little roleplay and establish Alice as a stubborn, protective person I would just call this dungeon quits and retreat on outta here at this point. Also, RIP Charland. I hardly knew ye.

Reinforcements arrive, and the risk of the event begins to snowball. Now that Malice has both interest and investment in the realm, it seeks not just to mete the party's end but also to reign over this dungeon. An ink-laden voice seeps out from the void, offering a suggestion for preservation...

So, Cooking and Chef skills. I have some questions about them. I assume a font just means an item occupies a tile and if you walk over it you consume the meal? With Brew Sling, are you adding POW to the bonuses the meal gives you or the range of how far you can throw it? Does Chef's Kiss only make charmed foes approach and Help you? As in, they won't fight for you or anything, they'll just try and revive you if you are Dying? Does Help do anything aside from revive the Dying? What does the Inventory Aura Springshop actually do? Just allow you trade things to multiple targets in a turn? I thought we could already do that freely even if we weren't next to one another? Or does it allow you to suck up multiple tiles of food if they are in range or something? Can you Harvest without Yield Cut? Step 2 of Cooking 101 shows 3 ingredients going into a meal, is it required that you always use 3 ingredients to make a meal? Can you use multiple of the same ingredient to stack the same benefits? What does the empty hand, the fully white hand, and the double white hands mean? What does the symbol underneath each of the hands next to the numbers in step 3 mean? Do Chefs get a bigger bag or inventory space than normal characters? If not, where does the excess groceries you buy at game start go, there's more of an allowance than can fit in our bags? And finally, how does the Deflect special for the Prep Board work?
>>
>>5526250
•Fonts are placed effects that are automatically consumed by the next tile occupant, yes.
•Brew Sling adds POW to the potency of the effect. If it was POW affecting the Range, then it would be R4+POW instead.
•Chef Kiss properly states how a charmed creature behaves.
•Help assists the target in a beneficial manner. The two most common means are providing 1 healing to a dying character, or removing the prone status effect.
•Springshop allows you to duplicate targets for any target-based input based on your POW. If you have POW3 then you can pick 3 targets within your aura for it.
•Each ingredient applies its effects as a separate source for calculating benefits, and abides by priority rules similar to weapon stats. So having two pumpkins will not give STR+2.
•You can harvest a corpse without yield cut. It's how your party has acquired a gun after all.
•You are only required to have at least one piece of a food item in the recipe to make a meal. From there it is whichever piece-to-size threshold can hold the meal which determines its threshold. As such, you cannot have more than 20 pieces of ingredients in a single meal.
•Empty hand = 0hand (zero-hand/off-hand) Single Hand = 1hand; and two hands = 2hand. These are wielded item sizes.
•The symbols you are asking about are clearly marked above in the stats and symbols key section, except for the burgers with a bite taken out of them. Those are bites, which are how many times the meal can be used before expiring.
>>
>>5526250
•Chefs get a grocery bag, similar to Fools getting a props bag. Ingredients in the grocery bag do not take up inventory space (currently) and are free to transfer to party inventory.
•Previous answer should be valid for this inquiry as well.
•Deflect provides an automatic conversion of LUC to DEF when overwatching. A free focus input, essentially.

>>5526246
The tank arrives, and will be quite the difficult encounter to deal with as a single adventurer. Vehicles in general are known to take small parties to subjugate, let alone with an entourage within its vicinity.

>•You can harvest a corpse without yield cut. It's how your party has acquired a gun after all.
Oh, uh, I thought harvesting specifically meant turning a corpse into food. So I thought if I harvested say...a spore soldier, then I'd get one mushroom, but if I used yield cut I'd get two. I didn't realise it meant literally getting more ordinary loot. Good to know.

>Symbol key, bites
Yes, the burgers were what I was confused about.

Thank you for the answers. A last few trio of questions for now. What does Filet do? The 2nd one is actually several and kinda dumb sounding but I want to clarify to be sure. Regarding Brew Sling, you cast food specifically, not complete meals yes? And Brew Sling does not work like Bolt Spring in that if you target an ally with Bolt Spring, it provides its effects to them/automatically feeds them but this does not occur with Brew Sling, instead it is *specifically* only for cooking new food at ranged and adding to the potency of the final product. Does the added POW only apply to the ingredient you throw or does it add your POW to both the ingredient you throw and the target food/corpse you hit? Can you throw multiple food in a turn per one use of Brew Sling? Like, can you a pumpkin and a tomato at the same time at a carrot to make a meal with one action or would you have to use two separate brew sling actions over two turns to do that? Likewise, could you say...make a meal out of two ingredients and then throw that meal at an ingredient with brew sling in order to get the POW bonus to both/all ingredients? What about throwing food into a completed Meal Font with Brew Sling? Does the new meal created by Brew Sling end up on the floor in the tile you threw it at, or does it magically teleport back into your bag/grocery bag after you create it through the use of Brew Sling? In other words, do I have to walk over and pick it up if I create something through Brew Sling? I think I forgot my third question...so instead I'll ask can you make meals out of corpses or use corpses as meat in a meal and what is the ingredient shown in step 1 that provides DEF? The one in the top right, to the right of the peas and above the tomatoes.

•Filet is an attack type skill that inflicts bleed stacks based on strike count, and if the target is dying then harvest them.
•Both Brew Sling and Bolt Spring can be used to provide immediate effects to allies. Bolt Spring will affect the entire tile, while Brew Sling only affects a target. (Since these are cast spells they can be modified later)
•The bonus POW added to the effect of food cast using Brew Sling is spread between valid targets. If you would make new food or a meal from it then all effects are attempted for improvement.
•Please review >Skills at the top of the chargen sheet.
•The bonus POW added to food effects will not stack on itself.
•Recipe fails if you attempt to cook using a completed meal.
•If you don't play smart, then yes you do have to walk over and pick up anything you've cooked using Brew Sling. Springshop is presented as a means to bypass that issue with limitations.
•Corpses are the meat of a meal, yes.
•That is an ear of corn.

<Afterword>
I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the game, and to everyone who decided to read along as well. My apologies for the sporadic schedule, as the offline world events in my life have been in turmoil for the past few months and thankfully they've settled down enough to the point that I can comfortably do more things I enjoy because of it. Once again, thank you all.

>>5534753
The game is planned to continue sometime after the skrimjam is finished, as in the meantime I have a laundry list of issues to fix both sheet, system, and processing wise to help improve both gameplay and communal experience. I usually spend a few months putting together a system, and this one was scrounged from ideas and concepts in the back pocket that happened to fit the themes presented for the jam. What this one-shot shows at least is the foundation set is solid enough to work further on it, and given how the system didn't implode when overburdened a few times it should hold up for future game sessions.
>>
>>5534775
I have been here the whole time, but I was under the impression that you couldn't join when an Event is already in progress if you've died or quit. Otherwise I would've joined right away.

>>5534777
Thanks for running the game! I'll be looking forward to the next one. Maybe I'll rethink my Discord hesitance...maybe...
