You are Sidridijika [The Harbringer of Miracles] the white Magus, a crystal dragon. A young one, hatched in the early spring ten months ago. Not a wyrmling anymore, but still far from adulthood.
Last, but not least, your Strategy prowess, developped since you are an hatchling thanks to a cabinet filled with miniatures of soldiers from all the world's armies and a book detailling their forces and weaknesse; gifted reluctantly by your Mother.
Your defining features are your Arcanic affinity; the legacy of your draconic ancestor, your Presence; inherent to your crystaline blood, Your Flight mastery, the way you broke out of your egg, and your Breath, light element multi shaped tool.
You started a conflicting relationship with your litter. However, circumstances made you closer as you had to team up to survive the dreaded dragon hunters, which killed Father. Now you only have your prized crystal necklace as a memento: an extraplanar space you can fill with your own things, allies, or even unwilling enemies after an arcanic push.
What about Mother? Well, some recent third eye vision might explain her behavior as natural and normal Draconic hatching mindwarp, and you decided to go look for her. More on that later.
Now you have bounded as a pack with Little green, the hard headed and tough fighter emerald dragon, Little Purple, the cunning and tinkering Amethyst dragon and Little blue, your favorite, alchemy-gifted, fighting-deficient, mind-reader favorite sister.
You luckily found really fast a location suitable for a lair worthy of your Pandraconium : a fallen dwarven hold, invaded with skavens, home of a Griffin and her cubs, which now have left the nest.
You drive out most of the skavens, with the help of chaos warrior you tricked to fight for you until their death, then become friend with the monster of the third floor.
You recruited nearby humans to serve as canon fodder against the rat tide coming right for your lair. The humans were lead by a young noble, Hector, that tamed one of the griffin cub, Vaillant.
Hector proceed to tie a deep relation with you, becoming your guardian. You bailed him out several time, until he saved your life by defeating countless undead while you were out after a demon hunt.
He proceeded to transform into a worthy, then unstoppable fighter, thanks to the power brought by your link on one hand, and the runic relic he found on the other, leading two squads of battle-proven Errant Knights.
And he have not checked on you since way too long. Ungrateful kid.
You then acquired your first inhabitant, an human girl named Agathe you healed from a condition crippling her mental abilities, and hope to turn into a Dragon Priestess, whatever that means.
>>
You met some highborn elves and a dragon faithful to their cause, which lead to a name-giving ceremony for the four or you.
Your siblings have been named Verthicha (The Mountain), Throdenslemoni (Of Many shapes), and Wanotreyxkaiv (The Princess)
You also recruited a master Runesmith, Borri Ironbrow (currently on the verge of full mental collapse due to the loss of a rediscovered technology), and one thing leading to an other, Urist Fonderferson the steel smith and Thurmoum, the Orichalcum smith. You also have stolen the whole dwarven orichalcum reserve and kidnapped their king, corrupted by chaos. Strangely, the bearded Axe-crazy people doesn't seem to take goodly your benevolence.
After a few battles, you succesfully routed skaven, dwarven and undead forces several times. Your sibling acquired their own guardians :
Kvar the dwarven child, Verthicha's Mountainborn'
Chadlin the snotlin, Verthicha's bedrock's steadiness'
Edwyrd the dexterous highborn elf, Throdenslemoni's Infiltrator
Gwendolyne the Empire Noble, Wanotreyxkaiv's Gracious Ruler
Regarding battles, things settled down for winter. However, days are getting longer again, snow is melting, and all thread of fates indicate calm will remain for only a far too brief time.
You are slowly tuning your lair to your taste and need, with the crafting of the Three-Moon Astrolabus, the Orichalcum Scepter, and the Glass Pannel flooring, respectively enhancing your Divination, Light Magics and Breath attacks.
You feel a great need for hoarding valuables. You have far from enough of them, the missing gold somewhat offsetted by your growing population.
You also are attempting to turn your home in a mystical place of importance related to the dragon Priest project, using your Miracle ability to birth a spring at hiking distance.
Speaking of the dragon Priesthood project, you found in your latest trip (that got completely derailed and failed its purpose) a suitable dwarf kid, and a couple lizardmen aligned to your elements.
Time to teach them. But more importantly, time to turn your deer, deer Agathe into Dragon Priest.

Some ideas for powers
White Hierophant
Increase Agathe's skill with healing and divination. Basically turning her into a super priest. (From our Arcane leaning)
Herald of Miracles
Make her charismatic, have an inate sense of negotiation, and a friendly disposition. It's preacher route (From our fist meeting trait)
Harbinger's Advisor
Act as our support against temptation, as a divine being should be held to higher standards. Give more will dice to stop using demon goop please.
Cleansing light
An ability to sense corruption, to cleanse it, and to stop it from spreading. Anti-Chaos skill set
Divine Authority
Makes her an leader, knowing strategies, decorum and dogmas, and capable of inspiring others. Also a big confidence boost.

>Write-in Guardian gift (and benefits) to Agathe
Since days and weeks pass by, let's wait, a month or two to forge Agathe a scepter of power, and enchant comfy yet durable robes using a fist sized chunk of crystal.
At some point I wanted for us to run some Experiments on creatures augmented by dragon scales / blood using creatures with short life spans to determine if being infused with Dragon juice would also augment their life expectancy. I was gonna target giant dunsa rats since they would only life up to on average 6 month, so we would easily be able to determine if they would have more years or months to them.

>>5561227
Not gonna lie that seems cheap and lazy as all hell. We can teach her how to increase her presence and diplomacy easy peasy.

>>5561247
Wait no I'm stupid. I seeeee now. We're making her a guardian. Took me long enough to understand.

>>5561215
Right, guardian gift. If Hector has a bit of our light, luck, and healing, Agathe can have our divinitation, PRESENSE (for getting more followers), and ice magic to augment her water affinity.

So we really are doing it, huh... Well, not like me and CoffeeAnon objecting to it would be enough.

Anyways, I'll support >>5561247's
>Harbinger's Advisor
Or more remotely
>White Hierophant

If both titles could be merged into one it would be great, as I feel like the "Advisor" title is lacking traits, because as it'l is, it's essentially a title for us, and I'd it to bring a benefit for herself as well.
>>
>>5562073
Forgot my name.
>>
>>5562073
>>5562074
Gave it some more thought and decided to go ahead and merge the two, going full circle:
>Dragon Priestess
>Increased healing
As a priestess, she channels the power of her God (or future God anyways), and since healing is our most prominent feature...
>Divination
As if we were showing her images of fate or the future. As such, if divination is needed in the future, but we are away, she can provide it.
>Mental support
At the end of the day, a priestess support her God, and just like we fixed her mind long ago, she now protects us against temptation, increasing our willpower, to help us stay in the path we strive for.

Something like that.
>>
>>5561215
Alright. Sorted my thoughts.

I would support

White Hierophant
Increase Agathe's skill with healing and divination. Basically turning her into a super priest. (From our Arcane leaning)

Or my own write in.

In that order
>>
Seems that anon's choices so far are
White Hierophant (Healing and Divination)
Herald of Miracles (Charisma, Negotiation and Diplomacy)
Dragon Priestess (Healing, Divination and mental support)
Unamed gift (Divination, Presense and Ice)
Pure World (Charisma, Diplomacy and Cleasing)
Honestly, they are all very similar. Maybe we could even mix them up.

Quick queation to QM
Doea agathe really have a water affinity? I don't remember, while I trust anon is righte I want to be sure
If she does have, would giving her ice powers make her stronger then giving light powers?
>>
>>5562129
Although Agathe isn't really a fighter, and light has way more support utility then ice.
So it might be better to go for light power even if she would be stronger with ice.

"Agathe, come to my temple"
You order the maiden through your still-present mental link. The sweetheart drops immediately what she's doing in her house, coming though the door of the fort.
In your mind, she shines of a vibrant, clear blue among the dull world of the small minds. Other splash of color comes from your siblings and their guardians.
Wait. Are the other greenskins... a teeny tiny splash of green? Looks like this budding Draconic Perception] of yours might be an useful skill in the future.
You can feel the confused Sennri getting out of the young girl's home. Speaking of, Verthicha didn't took care of building more homes. You'll have to contact again that carpenter?
"Here I am, Sidridijika.
- Good. I want to talk to you about something. Something important."
She sits on her knee, in a respectful wait. You have her complete attention, wide clear eyes locked on your own. She's blushing a bit, is she scared?
"I won't beat around the bush. I'd like you to become my guardian.
- Why me? I can't fight like Hector, sing like Guillot, be handsome like Edwyrd, grow like Kvar or Chadlin. In fact, I don't know why you're keeping the useless me around...
- You're not useless. You have magic. Good one. You're always around, anticipating some of my needs. And I'm pretty sure everyone like you."
She blushes even more, avoiding your gaze
"I don't want you to waste time and energy on me. But if you're mind is set... I won't refuse.

This time, this is not a scale you hand out to her, but one of your fang.
Once she sets her hand on it, the tenuous string of the link between the two of you get reinforced by strands and strands of light and blue mental fabric, and you feel the whole hurricane of her emotions.
Happiness, and pressure. The angst of not living up to your expectations. Of disapointing you again in the battlefield. Or of you growing tired of the plain, bland her.
You catch her by your wing and pull for a hug. Impressive how, well, impressed she is by you when you don't are as tall as her.
"Shh, everything going to be OK.
- What was that?
- A new companion for you.
- Is the voice i'm hearing Hector? How? Wait... Am I seeing through his eyes?
- Agathe? Don't worry, you'll learn to block your mind soon enough. But before that, please warn us when you... have natural urges.

Gift of the White Hierophant :
>Improved healing : DC -1
>Improved divination : DC -1
>Unique skill : Faith
Faith is a buff skill, situational, similar to Guillot's Bard trait
Crit will give one free success. Success will provide Priestric Inspiration, decreasing DC by 1. Failure provides background character watching the action. Crit fails becomes distracting

Listvof people I thinkwe should talk with, in descendin order of importance:
Anemon, his autism is bound to cause trouble, but he is skilled enough that just getting rid of it would be a waste. So let's try to nip this in the bud.
Ame, his skills could be of use, and he could potentially do well with purple
Sister Senri, she could make for a good friend, teach and/or follower for Agathe and the Derg Church
The halflings. Ted would be great to take care of our fields, we need to have a talk with rose about the greenskins, and honestly, I want to see how you would write hobbit gaston and his two hanger ons
Apples. He is precious

sounds pretty solid. Just maybe ask Agathe that she tries to familiarize her strengthened powers and maybe talk to Durr to try and get a reading on what is causing his Kleptomania.

Then go back to Senri and appologize for just leaving her in your house without saying anything. While quick response is good manners should also be on your mind.

Seems to be part of a comic called Blue is the warmest colour.
A tale of two lesbians
>>
>>5562260
Ok, after trying to translate, seeing the image and reading the wikipedia summary, I'm coming to this conclusion:
Seems to be the page in which the main character meets the love interest and fall in love at first sight, and eventually has to choose between trying to keep dating the due she had recently started a relationship, or try to find the blue haired woman (who apparently also was in a relationship, since she was in the arms of another woman.)
The text says
Les questions des adas sont banales aux yeux des autres.
Mais-quand on se sent seule à pieds joints dedans, comment savoir sur lequel danser?
But I can't really understand it because it seems to be either poetic or slang. What the fuck is an ada?
The whole things about having to choose which feet to dance too is probably an allusion to the plot I described up there.

So how close was I?
>>
>>5562278
it's written ado, meaning adolescent, so teenager. It's more poetic : a pied joint means jumping with both feet, so committing fully to something. In that case, the narrator is "feeling alone" which is not something desirable
>>
>>5562306
I understand now, thanks QM.
>>
>>5562181

"Alright Agathe, you have to make heartfull apologize to Sennri you left hanging. But first, we'll spend a bit more time together... Let's focus on the problem of Durr"
Your guardian steps outside your lair, walking with more confidence you ever saw her with.
"Durr, is that it? Come with me."
Without waiting for an answer to that request, she turns on her heels toward your lair. That makes it an order, imbued with authority. That's your girl, you think proudly.

"Alrrright, dwarrrf. Today, we arrre worrrking on yourrr sticky finger disorder."
You close your eyes. open your third one. Feel Agathe close.
No stained glass this time, but more... a door. Numerous padlocks. You'll have to get through it.

"Allright. Help me, Agathe."
You focus and start your trance.
Allright girl. Sidridijika wants your help. Not like he needs it. More like, a trial, to prove him I'm worthy as a guardian...
"You're thinking too loud, Agathe"
Getoutmyhead Hector!
"Focus!"
Agathe close her eyes.
>18 : Agathe success
You feel a vibration. A strange one.
>Divine inspiration + Healer's heart : DC 10
>9
You tap into your power. And something is strange : Agathe is already tapping inside your reserve, sending you back a purified stream. However you fail to mix both streams by an hair's breadth.
You still have ample power. You try again, discarding the wasted mana
>8
It's getting worst. You can't mix the streams correctly. Surely you have enough mana to solve the situation, right?
>4
>4
You feel your mana pouring out of you, hemoraging out. Nothing goes toward the metaphorical padlocks. Your energy is getting depleted, between your failure and the drain from Agathe...
>10 : One success
Time for a gambit. You trust all your remaining energy in the channel between you and Agathe, and it comes again purified, strands of white energy braided. You manipulate only this source of energy, using it as a soft lockpick, drilling where the lock's keyhole should be, exploding inside it. One less.

"Did... it work?
- Remember how long it took for curing you?
- Oh, I remember. Looks like you'll have a long fun time with the dwarf... "

You're left exhausted by the endeavor. In your sanctum, you collapse. And dream...

Your consciousness dissolves, and you feel like you're everywhere, at a point of time far in the future.
You're in a plain, bigger than any one you flew over. Bigger than any seem to fit in the world.
Under your wings, countless figures, clad in metal. Knights. Hundreds of thousands. Humans, from several places of the world : some have a black face, other yellow with squinted eyes, some with red skin.
Several races, too. Human, obviously. Dwarves. Elves. Lizardmen, using their scale as natural armor. Skavens, too. Surprising sight. Greenskins. A giant squad, with the matching armor. And even an armored giant mounting a menacing giant dinosaur.
A complete army : Artillery and cavalry mixes with infantry. Regiments of battle wizards, some grouped by elemental affinity, other making versatile squads. There are even flying units : pegasus, griffin knights. Dwarven machines. Pteranodons riders, greensking on wyrms, elves on cattle-dragon, a few flying magus.
Over your wings, the sky is covered in a glimmering rainbow. Your own kin.
You could not even start to conceive the sheer size of that army. The only thing that make you think something, somewhere, sometime could match your forces is the sight of the other army, three time as numerous.
You wake up with a feeling of dread.

Dont panic, but take the dream into consideration. Was is created from your own mind due to stress, an anate future sight from your own magic, a trick by chaos to make you make a quick and dirty army to trick you?
Bring this dream into consideration and over conversation over breakfast with your family and friends. Sure its spoopy, but stressing over it wound do anything good for you.

>>5564609

Let's not cause a panic. This could be a ploy from chaos to do exactly what they want us to do, or it was just a dream, or this was White's magic. Let's be rational here.
>>

Let chaos grind itself against the light.
With enough fortifications, you can defend against an army way larger then three times.

>three moon's astrolabe : Divination DC -1
You collect your mind, and think. Pinpoint the faint remembrance of moons and stars, piece out all together.

>1 success : Time frame
The even happened in a future where you reached adulthood.
You have at the very least one hundred year. At most, one hundred fifty.
The exact timing seems to shift around in time, regarding some key event you didn't identified yet. The thread of fate behave in a way you never saw before.
>2 success : Learning about Fate's Convergence
The threads disperse as a fan, some tangling together again around an event acting as a needle. It seems there are some threshold that attract nearby threads into snarls. Those are nodes. These events are quite simple to locate in the tapestry of fate, and only a small nudge in the right direction turns them in certitudes. However, the battle you foresaw is in an other size category. Nothing you can do will prevent this battle from happening.

Try to be calm and collected about it. Fighting chaos is just about what happens ever millenia or centuries or whatever. Chaos suchs!

"Hectorr? What do you think about that?
- That's... a lot of thing to process...
To be honest, how do you plan to make such a diverse army work? A typical squad of Errant is unmanageable even when every body choose to be there and fight for glory, as they tend to be insubordinate... Leadership of such an army seems to me the biggest challenge.

- Fairrr point. Agathe?
- Was that... The end of the world? How are we supposed to be beacons of hope when this is what awaits?"
>>
>>5567489
I am not answer other Anon's autism.
Just say that it was a "potential" future, but a likely one. Fate is really weird with us and it can either be sorta set in stone, or sort of not. Fact is there is going to be "the big fight" with chaos, and there will be armies.

So how has Hector been anyways?
>>
>>5567494
No spoil, but a turbo-autism thread derailment of knight-posting is planned.
>>
>>5567489
>It will not be the end of the world if we can help it Agathe. I had a talk with an elder of the saurians, and he warned me of the coming of the change of ages. The 9 previous had one fight like that. We must be strong, so the 10th will be a better one.
>He mentioned how an alliance of dread elves and infernal dwarves would be strong, but the world would be full of suffering. Chaos must not win, but we can't let the Light be extinguished.
>As for the mixed army Hector, we have already started the seeds of such a thing right here. If we can make so this fortress' residents can stay united, then there is hope still.
>As arrogant as comparing us to someone considered a god is, we must do what Sunna did, gather the many tribes to fight the coming hordes. But go beyond only men, make sure that our enemy also does not gather allies of their own, and hopefully not be betrayed along the way.
>The details can change. If something proves not to be possible, we can adopt a new strategy in it's place. Even making so the big fight itself is a garanteed loss, but only so the army is picked apart in guerrila attacks.
>I might also not be the leader of this great army of order, merely one of the generals. Either way, we have to prepare.
I would rather not have to go through two End Times of chaos winning.
>>
>>5567526
I tried to mix the three of them, but also trying to downplay any problems, lime saying it's "just" a change of ages, but also not saying we are the best and only hope, just one of the players
>>
>>5567528
Posted before I fixed the draft
it's just a change of ages, but it's still a great event that could go wrong
>>
>>5567526
yeah there are gonna have to be many actors willing to work together to create a better future. Give us another thousand years and we might be able to do it by ourselves but we dont have that time.

There will be others that have noticed the signs of the end of an Age. We will have to work together with them to create the best possible future.
>>
>>5567608
Equitaine's king and the Empire's Emperor would be good allies to have. There's also that council of good dragons that dad was part of. Maybe the elves too, talking with that dragon that named us?
We got to make sure that even if the fortress is destroyed, the chaos army could still be defeated once they keep moving west.
Even if we are not the centerpiece of fate, since in a hundred years we are still going to be young for a dragon, we can still try to make a better future.
>>
I think the important question is another:
QM, are you planning on doing time skips, ending the quest before the big fight (if we manage survive until it happens) or having hundreds of threads?
>>
>>5567629

>All of the above
>>
Since MadScientist Anon (I suppose it was them anyways) and I already agreed into turning Agathe into half-dragon (as long as the change is very subtle in my case, so much so that she would still be recognized as human unless the observer pays close attention), she may live a couple centuries. But does she (as of right now) and Hector even need to worry about something that's at least a century away? After all, the prospect of them being alive when the time comes isn't all that great.

>Come back to see that even with 5 dice, our chances of success in life- I mean, of healing, continues the same, and that QM is doing some shenanigans

I'm a little bit concerned, will check the other quest later.

>>5567608
>Give us another thousand years and we might be able to do it by ourselves but we dont have that time.
We can learn Magnus Exorcismus in a hundred years, which by this quest's mechanics would be an AoE Light/Cleansing spell, then we would only need to focus in increasing its area of effect/range.

At least I would find it very funny:
>Big Chaos army
>1/5 of it is obliterated with a single spell
>Leader of the army sweats, but thinks they are still fine, they still have numerical advantage
>Leader looks at us, see us holding a few flasks of mana potions
>"Oh shit."
(think Benimaru using Hell Flare against the Orcs)
>>
>>5568717
>White learns Magnus Exorcism
>"Make Mana Potions Agathe. Get your apprentices."
>"How many do you need?"
>"ALL OF THEM"

Que Chaosforces showing up to fight at the mountain.
>Leaders face once he realizes there are two mountains. One Natural and one made from Manapotions which White lounges on with a Malicious Glint in his eyes.

>>
>>5568717
I agree with the dragon modding program, but we should only go through with it until we fully understand how to make it work safely. To that end we should experiment on short lived mammals and lizards to see if dragon modding them will kill then or not. Then we should do more testing to see how modding them will affect their life span, abilities, fitness, and so on.

Alternatively, we can forgo learning from scratch and instead can try finding our mother again, who we know is experienced with modding. I think so far we know that shes modded dark elves and skaven.

>>5568778
Now that White knows about the big fight, will he be motivated to train harder and faster, rather than being more leisure about his pace? Ergo rolling more study dice per month, instead of rolling only 1 dice per week? I wanna improve more of our craft skills and tactical knowledge. Economics too so we get massive STONKS.
>>
>>5568841
I thought of an easier solution. White just needs to become a god, or the dragon equivalent to a demi-God, or something like Bahamut. The good dragon god from dnd. Easy right? I mean if we wanna be crazy I guess we could kill a god and take their power like in the recent Warhammer Fantasy game.
>>
>>5568717
Oh and speaking of healing shenanigans, we should probably get around to making a scepter of healing to reduce the DC, or crit chance threshold for healing checks.

Out of curiosity, what would we need, material and skill wise, to make something like a technological FBR (Full Body Replacement) cybernetic? I am very tempted to see if it's possibly if we can make a cyborg or hell. Maybe a Mecha (not a golem) with something like a 30mm cannon to fight chaos with.
Considering the slowly declining learning curve you gave us as White ages, I'm having my doubts of the posability.
>>
>>5574562
You'll have to :
>Understand mechanics good enough (Tier 4)
>Undestand physics good enough (Tier 4)
>Understand anatomy good enough (Tier 5)
>Have enough materials
>Have good enough crafters (At the very least Industrial revolution standard, more realistically 3rd industrial revolution)
>Have a strong enough power source.

I'm all for mega projects over long term.
Basically before you get a mecha army you'll have to :
>Create a "Wunderwaffe" prototype
>Get enough ressources/production to get "Jewel of the crown" squad
>Get enough ressources/Production to get mass produces mecha

Learning up to tier 4 is something I can see us achieving in under a decade, maybe. Tier 5 will require some personal education tho.
Materials will be relatively easy with our relationship with the dawi, but having enough crafters and that revolution will require building a college of sorts to educate and improve technology.
As for power sources, I bet a year or decade old crystal should suffice.

You're as happy as you could be. That dwarf is almost as strong as Hector! Lots of Draconic Credits if you slay the slayer while wannabe-chief-Sidridijika didn't even knew he was here. Time to outsmart the edgy dwarf. You simulate a limp. He bites, and you smash him with your tail, sending him flying. That is extremely satisfying.
Ok, it is just like in practice...

You are back at being Sidridijika. And you are pissed of by your brother lack of cooperation to the impending world-ending doom.

You feel something emerge from the undergrounds. A big snotling - or small goblin. Your brother's guardian - chadlin ? He's grown a bit tonight - comes running up a part of your lair you can feel the wind in.
His big eyes beg you while he pulls on your scales. You half-heartedly follow.

Dragging you through the undergounds and a couple quicksand, you are facing an injured Verthicha in the top of a dwarven slayer corpse.

That's not an insult, it's a statement of fact. But he didn't understand either, still trying to process the first sentence. Let's keep it simple.

"Thanks, brother!"
Anyway, you start monitoring together the adventurers.
Your brother use a pit of quicksand to draw the layout of his underdungeon and move small colored rocks representing adventurers.
"What is that?
- Inspired from gamenights!"
Well, you thought he barely understood how the game worked, you even had to make a few set of dice color-coded green for success, white for failure (he insisted) for the difficulty of what his character was attempting and he kept forgetting a human fighter have no wings nor breath. Surprising he picked wargaming skills out of every basic things he can't do.
The group is scattered and almost disposed.
The miner got caught in a collapse, and the ork lead a scary bloody charge that splitted the group, while Cargnorm get out while dragging a barely alive high elf by the ankle.
The remaining adventurer met the friendly neighborhood spiders, and only the lumberjack and the wood elf made it.
"Elf uses staff... Methinks spell find out"
You feel a deep tingle in your body. There is something with that spellcasting close to you.
"Lead me to the out of the dungeon. Now".

Your brother complies. You make him go the fuck away, and greet two extremely worn out adventurers. You feel a bit bad seeing the light of hope disappearing from their eyes at the instant they see a Crystal dragon after barely making it with their lives.

Merely mortal with bruised flesh and broken will, and they fled. While you tried to gently open up negociations and talks, giving them premium spot in the small world you're building to save the big one.
That pisses you of. Really hard.

Yeah, nothing strange in the fate tapestry. Everything is under control. And it's better that way : your knights have something important for them so you won't be able to rely on them for a bit of time.
Wait. Where did the tapestry go? Are you deprived of mana already?

>19 : critical
Something out of your grasp and improbable happened. Something that burns down your future - and future of The Grand Order Salvation Alliance with it.
You piece it together. Attacks. Skavens, dwarves and undead, without knight support, attacking you over the course of three days.
Damn; you'll have to find a way out of that.

>Any idea on how to not roll for Anal Circumference?

Maybe we could somehow try to make it so the three armies end up meeting again so we can turn it into a four way battle once more.
We could also try to mass produce explosives and traps with Green and Purple to turn the surroundings into Vietnam. Chad does have the fortification skill to help with that.
I suppose we could try to find mother and other allies again. Unless you meant that the attack is going to happen in three days instead of three days of non-stop attacks.
Maybe set up a decoy base to draw out the attacks? Be ready to lose the fortress and start a guerrila war? Just flee towards mom or Gwen's castle?
We could also try to learn about the infernal engine and the skaven artillery, maybe even modify and mix them to have a strong base defense.
I think these are all my ideas

With that out of my system:
I agree with >>5592810, while getting Vert and Lemoni's help to fortify our base is a given, I'll further endorse learning or preparing the Infernal Engine (we do have quite a few dwarfs now, maybe try asking them if they know anything about it, how to use it, how dangerous it may be, which by the name I would assume "quite", etc) and the "Skaven Zap Cannon" (the more we can decrease their numbers before they get close the better, ask the skaven outcasts for assistance if needed).

Can we (or you) roll a die to see if Ame created anything useful since he came? Maybe he created the fantasy version of a napalm bomb (aka, the ultra Molotov), so maybe we can get the recipe to make a few more.

Last but not least, let's not forget that we have more people to protect now, and while some of them can help at least defending themselves, to what extent is that? So if we can gather the ones that can fight and bait the armies to battle further away from the hold (and against each other again), that would be great.

. . . Should we attempt Scam? For them to self obliterate, for our hold getting some natural fortification, for a knight army to intercept one of them "coincidentally". Anything that can lessen our near future burden.

No, it was a bad writeup of a butterfly effect - you'll trigger your miracle by flying a bit funny, thus changing the meteo, making a dwarf slip, break his neck. It was a dead weight that would have delayed the assault, thus advancing dwarf assault by one day.

Mundane is the action itself not the difficulty of getting it correct

You focus on how simple and small actions can unweave and reweave the grand tapestry of fate in a favorable way. This is a careful work, with many things that can go wrong, and you're pretty sure you've nailed it.
Your wingbeat will create a rain cloud that will piss on the face of a sleeping giant, that will smash the ground in the tantrum resulting of the frustration of getting woke up. Little did he know, the nap place was near to a skaven tunnel, collapsing it, delaying the ratmen for one day. This will lead into them meeting another army - the issue of that conflict is unclear but you're pretty sure the problem is solved, at least partially. One worry less.

Under your wings, you see skavens. Your skavens. They dance around, happy about a find. You go down, and recognize their archeological diggin' place as the one where you destroyed the bell. They are really happy and noisy, but you can piece the general feeling :
" Yes-yes, we found the warm-hot warpstone! "

Looks like another inhabitant is interested in the stone. Ame.
"Good to sssee you, alchemissst. I have... RRequesstsss...
- ... So do I... The cursed rocks... I need it... All of it..."
The four ratmen don't look ready to share their treasure.

>Warpstone is for the skaven - after all you allowed them to search for it, spoiling them would be morally wrong
>Force them to give Ame a sample
>Force them to give Ame half, leaving scraps to the rats
>Force them to give Ame the whole supply

>Force them to give Ame half, leaving scraps to the rats
>Have the rats repair the weapon with the rest
I'm suspicious of the problem being solved
>>
>>5593642
What weapon do you want to repair?
Did I broke the lightning canon and not update notes?
>>
>>5593627
>Force them to give Ame a sample
>Offer that Ame pay them a bit if he wants more. They did the work as such they deserve most of it. Since you own the land that they dug it up from and it was only there do to you destroying a warmachine there some time ago you still deserve some part of it and that is what you are offering him.

>>5593654
we have one broken Jezzail i think.
>>
>>5593662
I think you replaced the broken warpstone to a light crystal on that one, turning it into the light riffle
>>
>>5593654
Wait, the rat cannon doesn't need refueling and repairs? That makes it better then I thought.
>>
>>5593666
huh okay... then i have no clue what weapon they are talking about.
>>
>>5593684
I thought the lighting cannon was broken. I must have misremembered things.

You coerce the ratmen to drop a sample of warpstone and gift it to the alchemist, as part of landowner tax. They reluctantly agree, mostly fearing things could have gone much much worst for them

"Ame, if you want more maybe you can trade with them and buy it? Biggie, what would it take for you to give out more warpstone?"

This was a bad idea. The following fifteen minutes, well, nothing productive came out of it and you'll never gave them back. They are agreeing to trade warpstone against more warpstone. The absurd dialog makes your head spin with how stupid the thing was.

i see the least potential for destructive hijinks in them. or at least the lowest potential for noise complaints in the middle of the night.

Allright, nothing much happens on Skaven side.

A less-brooding Ame goes to his cauldron, upon his own attics, while you deliver Verthicha some new pit hosts.
You obviously keep the Axe and the staff.
That staff... When you get in possession, something happen. A primordial resonance.
What is it made of?
