With the defeat of Majin Buu and the Remnants at the Battle of Namek, peace has come to the Seventh Universe. With no imminent battles to fight or wars to wage, the Saiyans have enjoyed their first long-term peace since their ancestors first landed on Planet Vegeta all those years ago. Yet this peacetime hasn't slowed the progress of the warrior race known as the Saiyans, whose power have continued to grow day after day. Foremost among this warrior race is the Fateless man known as the “Dragon of New Salda” and the first Super Saiyan to have appeared in a thousand years. You the players play as this warrior named Karn, a man who has grown from a brawler with a powerlevel less than three thousand to now being the strongest of his kind, wielding the ancient emerald power of the Berserker and father of nearly a dozen children with his wife Meloka. After mastering the Yardratian ability known as Spirit Control, your power has grown beyond all previous limits.Character sheets and other info: https://controlc.com/46ec566dhttps://pastebin.com/u/GrandDragonQMArchive:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/qstarchive.html?searchall=Saiyan+Conqueror+QuestHelp fund quest art commissions here: https://www.patreon.com/GrandDragonQMQuest rules are as follows:>30 minute voting windows>Pick ONLY ONE option when voting(unless otherwise noted)>Dice rolls are all best of first three, only correctly rolled dice pools will count>One dice roll per person per post unless three players have not yet rolled, and ten minutes has passed since your last roll>Crits are 100 on a d100(a 99 or paired rolls may net you an extra bonus)>Crit fails are a 1/100 with no passing rolls, or if two 1s are rolled regardless of the third>Write-ins are both allowed and encouraged, but OOC options will be ignored>I can change any of the above rules at any time for any or no reason>If your goal is simply to troll, at least put in enough effort to make it funny>Have funSCQ will usually start on Saturdays at noon Eastern Standard Time, and run throughout the weekend. >>5588693>>5566001Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:Chilli met with some of his allies while Karn was visiting, then after they left Karn returned home only to see his youngest controlling his Super Saiyan Three power. After sparring with his youngest, and imparting a valuable life lesson to him. Then, after a week of peace, Karn senses the Tamaranean Queen Komand'r approaching New Salda with an army at her back. Escorting her and her thousand warriors in, she then accuses her sister of murdering a diplomat among other offenses. However, Karn managed to outplay the Tamaranean Queen, ending with him sending the tracker that was inside Kori into her older sister. As we rejoin Karn, it is the next day. The first day of the new year.“Hey Dad, are you up?” your son Chilli asks, reaching out to you telepathically from his homeworld.“Of course, just finished my morning training with your older sister.” you reply, pressing the button to turn off the shower. “Why, what's going on?”“Oh, nothing's wrong. It's just...” he says, then hesitates. You can feel a bit of uncertainty through the mental link, as if your son's trying to choose what he'll tell you. “Today's Meloka Wolbach's birthday. And I was hoping you and everyone else would be able to come by today?”“Birthday?” you ask him, raising a brow in confusion while drying yourself off. “What's that?”“It's a holiday celebrated here on the day of your birth. Apparently, every year the people close to you celebrate you living for another whole year.”“Every year?” you ask, wondering for a moment just old you are. And how you would have even kept up with such a thing. Perhaps the PTO may have these things in their records?“Yes, there's food and presents, extended family all coming in to celebrate with you and your immediate family.” he tells you. “We're going to have the party here in an hour or so, so what do you think? Will you come?”Well?>Of course, you'll be there with everyone who wants to join in after you all eat breakfast over here. >>5588697“Of course, I'll be there. Along with everyone else who wants to join in.” you tell him, then after a moment's consideration add. “After we all have breakfast over here. I know the Crimson Demon Village is ill equipped to handle so many Saiyan appetites.”“I appreciate that. That's a lot less Megu and I'll have to prepare.” he replies, your son's happiness at hearing you're not missing this apparent. “What time is it there for you all?”“Still early, just about to go and get breakfast ourselves.” you tell him, getting dressed and exiting the shower room a moment behind your eldest daughter. Who is actually humming something to herself while skipping towards your home ship's mess. “We'll be ready to head over in maybe thirty minutes, when do you want us over?”“Then'll be fine, just let me know before you teleport everyone in.” he replies to you, then you sense his mind distance for a moment. You don't recognize who he reaches out to, then comes back. “I gotta get a few more things ready, see you when you get here.”“I will.” you reply as he ends the mental link, wondering who else he was talking to. But then that train of thought is interrupted, as your eldest has stopped and is turned around, looking at you.“Who was it?” she asks, brow cocked curiously. “ Something up”“That was your brother, Chilli. He's invited us all down for a “birth day” celebration for your niece, she's apparently a year old today.”“Wait, little Meloka Wolbach's a whole year old already! Time sure flies!” she replies enthusiastically. “When are we going down?”“After we eat. Our appetites are a lot greater than the Crimson Demons' after all.” you tell her with a laugh. “C'mon, let's not keep everyone waiting for the news.”“Right!” she replies, the two of you walking together into the mess hall to greet the rest of your family. You don't share the news until after breakfast is over, but you can clearly tell Meloka knows something is up, looking from you to Chaya questioningly. You'd only told her telepathically you'll tell her the good news once breakfast is over, telepathically reaching out to Raven to make sure she's aware.“Hey Raven, did you hear my conversation with Chilli earlier?” you ask her, to which you get a near-immediate response.“Yes, you're taking the family with you. I take it they'll have the morning off training?” she replies.“You got it. I'll try and have them back later this evening, I know the old man'll want to see them at some point.”“I'll be sure to let him know as well.” she replies, ending the link as she senses you had nothing else important to say.“Great news!” Chaya suddenly shouts, everyone turning to her curiously.cont
>>5588774“Meloka Wolbach is a whole year old today!” she says excitedly. “And she's having a birthday party today at Chilli's house! We're all invited!”Your daughter's siblings, especially the younger ones all shout out excitedly, clearly ready to go. Meloka seems confused by her declaration, looking to you curiously. So you quickly tell her what Chilli'd told you telepathically while your children all talk excitedly, your wife quickly getting it. Then Broly, Kori sitting beside him and the two clearly holding hands under the table looks to you curiously.“When are we leaving?” he asks you.“As soon as we're all done eating, and everyone gets dressed.” you tell him, to which Maz, Kayle, Okira, and Karn Jr all spring up out of their seats, running to the door. So you call out as they do, making sure they all hear you. “When everyone's ready, head to the ship's roof.”The younger children all run off, the rest of you getting up a bit more slow and reserved. By the time you've made it to your bedroom, the younger twins are already dressed in their suits, helping their youngest sibling Karn Jr into his as well. You get dressed in your actual uniform, donning your armor once more. But as you do, you see both weapons leaned up against the wall by the door, and the thought of taking them crosses your mind.Do you even need to bring them along though?>Absolutely. >>5588776Without a word you walk over to your weapons, slinging them both one at a time over your shoulders. Which doesn't go unnoticed.“Is this other world we're going to really so dangerous?” Koriand'r asks you, brows furrowed a bit in worry as she walks up. “Should I get a weapon as well?”“No, it's a rather peaceful world. Or, rather, a low-powered one.” you tell her. “But the damned Time Kai has a habit of showing up, or sending her minions whenever we're celebrating something with him.”“Ah, I see. You're just taking precautions, just in case.” she says, turning to Broly. Only to see that he's carrying his massive stone shield in his left, dragon bone blade tucked between his arm and shield. “Oh.”“Better to need and not have.” your son replies to her, rolling his shoulder. Meloka chooses not to take her maces along, most of the children not taking weapons. However, you notice that Chaya has retrieved her sword, Chilli having fixed it sometime over the past year. She lifts it easily, looking over the weapon. Then she notices you looking, resting it against her shoulder before telling you telepathically. “Gotta thank him for his hard work.”Everyone gathers their things and head out, you noticing Caulifla leaving her sword and moon pendant behind as she walks up beside you in the hallway. She sees where you're looking and gives a small, almost embarassed smile.“Not letting someone else's problems pull me away from this.” she says, standing beside you. And as Chaya walks past you both with her blade, you realize that she's already grown taller than her oldest sister and is on track to grow past you as well. “Today we're going to have a good time.”“Yeah, let's enjoy ourselves today.” you reply, everyone making their way outside and to the roof of your ship. And as you all gather, you raise your right hand to your forehead, reaching out to your eldest born son's ki signature. “Alright, everyone hold on.”Your kids all reach out to touch you, or grab onto either their mother or a sibling touching you while you reach out to Chilli telepathically to let him know that you all are ready.“Right, one second.” he thinks to you, then after a moment replies. “We're ready, head on over.”And with a thought, you teleport yourself and your family all to Chilli's side with Instant Transmission.cont
>>5588859One moment you all are gathered on the roof of your ship, the next find yourselves on a hill overlooking a quiet, serene-seeming village. Lowering your hand, you turn and see your eldest-born son standing next to you all. Before you can say anything, however, his younger siblings pounce.“CHILLI!!” both Maz and Kayle shout, leaping at him the instant they see him. Forcing your son to drop his staff to catch them both.“Hey there you two, you been behaving for Mom and Dad?” he asks them with a laugh, the two nodding enthusiastically. Everyone takes their turn greeting him, you waiting for the end while the others rush forward. He tells you all where the party is being held, gesturing down to the village. “Just sense for Megumin's ki, everything should be about ready.”Then, once everyone else starts making their way down into the town, he turns to you and his expression changes, taking in your appearance.“Expecting trouble?” he asks, tone light. With that in mind, those interlopers still have a bad habit of interrupting during family get-togethers, so it still just results in a bunch of Time Patrollers turning our outing into a fucking warzone.
>>5588908Its tradition, everyone knows it.
>>5588860“You have anything set up?” you ask him aloud, then continue telepathically. “Any defensive measures you've set up to deal with the Time Patrol that I need to be aware of?”“No, you won't have to worry about accidentally setting anything off.” he also replies telepathically, then aloud says. “Meloka Wolbach does like watching her mother practicing her Explosion magic. So, I've prepared something for a bit later this evening for her to enjoy.”“Oh, I see.” you say, feeling relieved. But also surprisingly even more nervous about the day's events. What in the world does that mean?“C'mon, let's not let them get too far ahead of us.” your son says, walking down the path to the village below. You follow along, glancing back up to his home. And for just a moment, for a single instant, your eyes catch a glint of something reflective in the air above his tower. But you don't sense anything, and your son doesn't seemingly sense any malicious magical nonsense about, so you brush it off and keep walking. Whatever your son's planned, you're sure it'll be over the top. These people's more theatrical ways have rubbed off on him quite a bit, if the Time Patrol DO show up you're sure they won't be leaving alive. You follow him down in to the village proper, where you can immediately see that there's much to do going about. Several tables are lined up, one perpendicular to the other four where the village chief, a man known as Hiropon is sitting to the right of a young woman you've never seen before. With blonde hair and blue eyes, she stands out starkly against the dark hair and crimson eyes of the villagers. What appear to be two guards stand posted behind her, reminding you of the first time you'd met Lord Freeza, Zarbon and Dodoria standing behind him ready to do his bidding. And judging by their powers, the comparison is apt. The blonde woman's strength is of a much greater magnitude than the Crimson Demons, even your daughter in law Megumin. Which is impressive, for this planet. She could probably even take down one of those dragons that attacked this village before single-handedly. Which makes you wonder; who in the world is this person? Then you notice Megumin sitting to her left, the blonde's eyes sparkling as she looks at your granddaughter in her arms. The two are talking, no doubt about your granddaughter, but you're still too far away to hear what they're saying. As you and your son approach, Maz and Kayle again take off, flying over to their sister-in-law to look at their niece. Which clearly shocks the woman's guards, the swordswoman drawing her blade while the other in robes raises her hands, no doubt preparing to cast something.cont
>>5589000But a word from the blonde stops them both in their tracks, returning to their relaxed alert stance. Seems she's quite capable of commanding her people, at least. You take this moment to better judge them, the blonde in the center wearing a long, extravagant yet simple dress of mainly white, while the swordswoman wears a white suit strangely resembling the suit you'd worn when getting married and a sword at her hip, hair cut short while the third is wearing long, comparatively plain dress of blue with white stripes, rings on her fingers and carrying a staff not unlike Chilli's and Megumin's. Your son Chilli walks up to the table, speaking a few words to her before turning and gesturing to both you and Meloka. And while you still aren't close enough to hear what's said, you get the meaning. So you step forward, your son making introductions as Maz and Kayle continue gushing over how big Meloka Wolbach's gotten.“Princess Iris, these are my parents. My father Karn, the Dragon of New Salda, and my mother Meloka.” Chilli says by way of introduction. “Father, Mom, this is Iris Stylish-Sword Belzerg, Princess of the Kingdom of Belzerg.”“The pleasure is all mine.” the young woman says, rising to her feet and delicately grasping her dress, holding it up while bowing, you think that's called a curtsy? But she holds it for a couple seconds before rising up to her full height, smile on her face. “I was beginning to think I would never actually meet the two of you. Your reputations precede you. These are my retainers, the Archwizard Rain, my personal tutor, and Knight Claire of the House of the Sword.”Well? What do you do?>Ask how she came to know your son and daughter-in-law, you're curious>Let Meloka handle the talking, only add in when you think it appropriate>Introduce your other children and Koriand'r, then ask if they're here for Meloka Wolbach's party as well>Other(write in)

Her short haired bodyguard with the sword on her hip doesn't seem to like you, but as long as Iris keeps her people in line, there won't be any issue. “How did you come to know my son and daughter-in-law?”“I actually met them long before the wedding.” she replies, smiling faintly as she remembers back. “The Demon King's forces were pushing into our territory, led by one of his eight generals. One known as Wolbach, a supposed Dark Goddess. I came all the way here to the Crimson Demon Village to find your son, once I'd heard rumors of his power and skill.”“And tried to recruit him into your army?” you ask, tone slightly accusatory. The swordswoman Claire puts a hand on her sword, Meloka fixing the woman with her gaze. Your wife doesn't outwardly show any aggression, but you can almost feel the white suited woman wilting under your wife's pressure.“No, nothing like that. Although, I would love to have him work for me.” Princess Iris answers easily. “But I did ask for his help, which he and Meloka gave.”“And she was the one who took her down, too.” your son tells you, having rejoined after going...Somewhere. You'd lost track of him, despite his ki being only one of around a dozen of note. Somehow. “My wife managed to kill a god before I did.”“And with their success, the Demon King's forces were pushed back and kept from approaching the capitol.” Princess Iris continues, then turning to your boy. “But don't undersell your contribution. Were it not for your powers restoring the castle fortress there on the front lines, even with General Wolbach gone it would have only been a matter of time before it fell. Your aid to the kingdom has been invaluable.”“But if you're a royal, shouldn't you be off doin' royal stuff?” Okira asks her innocently. “This doesn't look like a kingdom.”“Haha, no. The Crimson Demon Village is only a small piece, one place that is under the Kingdom of Belzerg.” the princess says, but something in her tone catches your attention. The way she's framing it is as if she has authority over the Crimson Demon Clan, and by extension your son. “The capitol is far larger and grander, but rather empty these days. With my father and my brother Prince Jatice off fighting the Demon King's army all the time, the castle feels rather empty. I just wish the war could be won already, so they can come back home.”cont
>>5589143As the princess gazes off, you notice your son's expression darken a bit, turning away from the girl. You can almost see the thoughts going through his mind, him debating on if he should act or not. But before he can, suddenly his hand twitches. You see him immediately whirl to his right, light energy in one hand and what could be Abyssal dark in the other, as a dark portal suddenly appears. It looks like a void, similar to Raven's portals but you don't sense her through it. Instead you sense several surprisingly powerful beings, all stronger than anything you'd sensed on this world before. And then, a being steps through.“Greetings, Chilli son of Karn.” the skeleton says, it wearing rather extravagant robes and wielding a golden staff with intricate designs and gemstones inlaid in it as it addresses your son directly. Each finger is adorned with a ring, and a slightly luminous red orb glows from just under the bone being's exposed ribcage. But he's not the only one. Following immediately behind him is a demon woman of some sort wearing white, carrying an odd scepter with a ball floating from the end. Alongside her emerges another demon with an almost insect-like tail, wearing an orange suit and tiny glasses that reflect all light, making his eyes invisible behind them. Following them come the two twin elves you'd seen before, an older man with white hair and a black suit, along with a massive insect-like creature wielding a large polearm. And the last one through, before the portal closes is a small woman of similar height to Megumin, wearing a rather frilly and ornate dress of blood red and deep purple. “Forgive me, our arrival was slightly delayed.”“Rain, get Princess Iris out of here, NOW!” Claire shouts, drawing her weapon and positioning herself immediately between the skeleton and her master. “Flee, now!”“You dare draw a weapon on the Supreme Being?” the orange-suited creature says, then infuses its voice with some sort of power when it speaks. “PROSTRATE YOURSELVES.”And to your surprise, several beings here do. Both of Iris's guards, every Crimson Demon within earshot except for Megumin, and even your four youngest all drop to the ground. Not to mention your granddaughter, who slumps over in Megumin's arms. You look over to your granddaughter, whose gaze is focused on the demon. And for the first time since you've seen her, she actually looks MAD. Little brows furrowed, you watch as her black eyes suddenly glow with crimson light, swinging a hand forward towards the demon.“BAAAAH!” Meloka Wolbach shouts, everyone turning towards her. Even Chilli turns around towards his daughter, and seeing her eyes glowing like you've seen from the other Crimson Demons from time to time his own widen. But she doesn't see her father, eyes focused only on the demon as she raises her right arm overhead, then swings it down, finger pointed towards Demiurge. “BAAAAAAAH!!”And he explodes.KABOOMEveryone shouts in surprise or shock, the blast actually knocking back several of the skeleton's people. They all keep their feet under them, except for Demiurge who is knocked flat on his ass, stunned. But you ignore them, looking back towards your granddaughter. Who seems quite pleased with herself, before you see Megumin ask her something. You see her turn around, very self-satisfied smile on her face. Which causes you to smirk, turning back as you hear Demiurge rising back up, actually growling with anger. But before he can speak, another voice speaks up from somewhere behind you.“For someone who touts his own strength, getting knocked flat on your ass by a literal child must be quite embarrassing. Especially in front of the Supreme Being you wish so much to be seen as invaluable. Such shame is absolutely savory!”cont
>>5589289You and everyone else turn, seeing not one, but two figures. One is a rather well-endowed woman wearing a purple dress and robe with her brown hair covering one eye. While the other is a man dressed similarly to Demiurge, except his suit and hair are both black, wearing a black and white mask covering from his eyes up.“This embarrassment, it is such a delicacy.” the masked figure continues, smirking maliciously at the other demon. “Nothing tastes better to moi than a lesser demon's shame.”“You.” Demiurge replies flatly, standing to his full height and dusting himself off before turning to Chilli, bowing at the waist. “Forgive my... Enthusiasm, in protecting the Supreme One. Although a common sword is no threat to my lord, I still take threats to his well being rather personally.”But Chilli doesn't answer him with words, nodding slightly before turning back to the new arrivals.“Vanir, Wiz. Good to see you both.” he addresses them, powering down and speaking to them as if nothing happened. “I'll have the next shipment ready by Friday.”“Great to hear! You're really saving lives out there.” the woman says, bouncing a bit as she walks up and gives your son a hug. To which he actually flinches a bit at, you glancing back towards Megumin and your wife to see them both staring at her with near-identical blank stares to hide their emotions. She then lets go, almost skipping towards Megumin and your granddaughter as if all the tension still in the air simply wasn't. Or perhaps she's simply too air-headed to notice?“Ahhh, what a treat. And here I thought WE were the ones supposed to bring gifts for HER.” the man says to your son, no doubt speaking about what happened. Wait, gifts? You weren't told about this, does your son expect you to be bringing something as well? But as you have this thought, the demon's attention is fixated on you for a single instant, his smirk turning up slightly at the corner. But that just has to be coincidence, right? “But don't worry, I have quite the surprise in store for your daughter.”Well? What now?>Telepathically reach out to your son now and ask him about this, find out what he's talking about>Leave it alone, you trust your son and if he had wanted you to bring things he would have told you so>Leave it for now, find him at some point later and ask about it then>Telepathically reach out to Megumin and ask her, see if she's expecting you all to have brought gifts for her>Other(write in)

>>5589290You're having doubts, so you decide to reach out to both Chilli and Megumin both telepathically and get to the bottom of this.“What's this about gifts?” you ask them both with a thought. “I wasn't aware we were supposed to bring gifts for her.”“Don't worry, I didn't ask on purpose.” Chilli thinks back to you while he keeps speaking with the demon. “I'll ask you to put on a show later for her.”“Yes, Chilli told me of that attack of yours, the 'Event Horizon' as he called it.” Megumin adds in. “As you just saw, she really enjoys a good Explosion.”“Wonder who she got that from?” Chilli replies, you sensing his smirk through the link as the demon nods to him, walking off towards a man who seems familiar. You end the mental link then, watching as the demon approaches a younger man with a heavily-armored blonde on one side and a blue-haired woman with a skirt far too short judging from everyone else's attire. It takes you a second as he exchanges words you don't hear with the demon to realize that he's that one you'd met here, Kazuma. And the armored woman's name was Darkness, the one who'd wanted you to punch her. Which she hasn't forgotten, seeing you and getting a gleam in her eye. But you're not feeling up to holding back against someone of that level, turning back towards your daughter-in-law and granddaughter, walking over towards them.“-uch power, does she have her adventurer card yet?” Princess Iris is asking Megumin, looking down curiously as your granddaughter yawns again. “If I didn't know better, I'd say she just used the Blast spell.”“I have her card tucked away in the house, so she can't get it early and learn magic she'll regret.” Megumin says with a small smile. “But it seems she inherited her father's natural talent to use magic, even without gaining a class or using an adventurer's card.”“She's going to grow up into someone quite special.” the princess says, too focused on Megumin and your granddaughter to notice your approach.“Yes she will be.” you say, the princess slightly jumping in surprise before turning to you, still all smiles. Yet as she does, you get the feeling her expression is more a mask than that white and black one the demon was wearing. You then turn your attention to your granddaughter, who immediately reaches out towards you with both hands. So you look to her mother, who nods with a smile and lets you take her. You pick up your tiny granddaughter, who wraps her tail around your forearm the size of her torso, clinging to your armor and looking up at you with her large, innocent eyes.cont

>>5589390For a moment you just stare, enraptured by your granddaughter. But then you come to your senses, taking her away from the 'head' table and finding a spot off to the side. Where Meloka has already taken a seat, you sitting down beside her. Your granddaughter's eyes widen as she sees your wife, letting go of your armor and reaching out towards her with both hands.“Aaaaaaah!” she says, opening and closing her hands. Clearly wanting your wife to hold her. Which Meloka accepts gladly, picking her up from you and holding her to her chest with a smile. Your granddaughter cuddles up against her, you smiling helplessly. She's so small and innocent, looking at her holding onto your wife's gi makes you want to give her the universe. And to smash any and everything that would threaten her existence and happiness. After a minute or so, she then pulls back, looking between you and your wife, then again reaching out towards you. To which your wife laughs, you taking her back into your lap. To which your granddaughter giggles, then reaches up and traces the old scar on the left side of your jaw with her same finger she cast her spell with.“Yeah, that one was a bad one.” you tell her, patting her on the head. Then you draw her gaze to another scar, this one on your shoulder. “That's not the only one. Here, look at this one.”“Oooooh.” she says, again tracing the scar with her finger. Which leads to you pointing out all of your visible scars, your granddaughter looking them over then back to your face each time. She clearly doesn't understand what a scar is, but is entertained tracing them so you keep pointing them out. As you do, you feel a pang in your heart that your old man Tatsu didn't live long enough to see this beautiful child. He would have loved to have been here.“Room for one more?” calls a familiar voice, your jaw dropping as you turn and see who is there. But that's impossible, he's dead. You killed him yourself, at your request years ago. He can't possibly be alive, much less here. Yet there is is, standing on his one leg before you, face covered in the all too familiar scars.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 192 paused-

>>5589541https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17rpm63gm-4“Ta...Ol...Dad...?” you manage to ask, stunned by his sudden appearance. You have no words, your body can't move, you just watch frozen as he drifts over, reaching out with his right and laying a hand on your shoulder. It's impossible, yet here he is. You can feel his hand on your shoulder, his ki feels exactly right, but you can't make this make sense. So you do what you'd always done, and turned to your old man when you needed clarification or advice. “How...?”“That boy of yours pulled a few strings, got me an hour's leave from hell to see my great-granddaughter on her first birthday.” Tatsu says, taking his hand off your shoulder and placing it on Meloka Wolbach's head, ruffling her hair a moment before turning his attention back to you. “And you as well. Good to see you, son.”You're so overwhelmed with emotion that you feel your eyes actually welling up with tears. You have endured a hell of a lot over your life, but seeing your old man back is enough to break you, at least a little bit. But your wife is immediately suspicious, voice accusatory as she rises to her feet, Energy Blade first.“How are we supposed to know it's really you, and not someone impersonating you?” she asks, which you guess is fair. But instead of saying anything Tatsu simply points up, to which you now notice there's a faintly luminous golden halo floating there above his head. To which Meloka's accusatory tone quickly vanishes, your wife looking a little sheepish as she sits back down.“Good, all this peace you've earned hasn't made you lose your edge.” he tells her, giving your wife a nod before turning back to you and your granddaughter, whose eyes haven't left him yet. His eyes meet yours, and you already know what he's going to ask. “May I?”Wordlessly you stand up, giving him the seat while handing your granddaughter to your father. Who takes her in his one arm, sitting down with a sigh as she looks at him in wonder. He smiles at her with the warmth he showed your own young children in his final years, laughing as she raises a finger to trace one of his scars, but clearly can't decide where to start. As she looks at him in awe and confusion, someone else has noticed Tatsu Sr.'s arrival.“GRANDPA!!”cont

She runs right up to him and, carefully avoiding hitting her niece accidentally, wraps him in a hug. She holds him tight for several seconds, you starting to worry she might crush him a moment before she lets go.“What are....? How...? You're here!” she finally settles on, unable to talk. TO which he laughs, a genuine belly laugh as he takes her in.“Look at you, growing on up.” he tells her, using his telekinesis to hold his great-granddaughter while reaching out, caressing her face with his one hand. “You look a lot like your grandmother did. I wonder, if she'd have grown up with the same training would she have gotten as muscular as you?”“I look like my grandma?” Caulifla asks, clearly surprised by his words. But he just nods and laughs, smiling to her as he feels Meloka Wolbach's finger tracing the scars on his right ear and neck. “When....When I finally meet you again, after.... Will I get to meet her?”“I don't know. She and I must not have ended up in the same place, because I've not found her.” your father replies, clearly disappointing her. “But I'm sure we'll be meeting again.”As Caulifla doesn't know how to answer this information, you see Chilli watching this all unfold from the corner of your eye. >>5590066As much as you want to thank Chilli for this, he told you that you only have a single hour with your old man and don't plan on wasting a single second of it. So you turn, giving your son a single nod. To which he nods back, turning back towards the giant skeleton man he'd been conversing with as you turn back to your father. Just as Maz and Kayle have run up, both latching on to him.“There there, it is good to see both of you as well.” Tatsu tells them, keeping his telekinetic hold on Meloka Wolbach while patting them on the head one after another. “Loot at how you've grown.”“Uh huh, we're all big an' strong now!” Kayle says, tears going down her face as she hugs him tight. “Just like you told us.”“Yeah!” Maz adds in, burying his face into Tatsu's left shoulder. The rest of your children have noticed him by now, everyone moving over to see him. He passes your granddaughter over to you, taking the moment to greet your kids he'd helped raise. Meloka Wolbach's eyes never leave the old man, looking at him in awe while he says a few words to each of your children.“Ahhh!” she exclaims, pointing at him and turning to you.“Yeah. That's your great-grandfather.” you tell her, noticing that there's now a ring of light hovering above his head, glowing with faint golden light as he pulls Chaya to him, foreheads against each other as he whispers something to her. To which she nods, determination clear in her eyes. Once everyone's had a turn speaking with him Chilli finally makes his way over, Megumin on his arm. Tatsu senses his approach, turning as your oldest-born son approaches.“Thank you for this day.” your father tells him, a sad smile on his face. But Chilli brushes his thanks off, waving it away.“Don't thank me, King Yemma was very pleased with your own work and wanted to reward your efforts.” Chilli says. “I barely had to convince him at all.”“Even still, I appreciate it.” your old man says, holding his hand out towards your son. Who takes it, the two sharing a look of understanding despite you having no idea who this 'King Yemma' is. Or how your father now works for him despite clearly being dead. The more you find out about the afterlife, the less you know. “This was worth everything.”“Can you only stay an hour?” Okira asks him as you hand his great-granddaughter over, Tatsu again holding her as he addresses your youngest daughter. “You can't stay forever?”cont
>>5590132“Unfortunately, I cannot.” your old man tells her, clearly disappointing Okira. “The dead should not linger in the land of the living. My time in this world is over, but once yours has passed as well, I'll be there to meet you on the other side.”His words clearly cheer your daughter up, the news she'll eventually see him again encouraging her. While he talks Meloka Wolbach traces his scars with her finger for a moment, before losing track of which started where and just runs her fingers over his textured face. You look around, your children all gathered around your father, Meloka sitting by your side as he holds your granddaughter, this moment is perfect. Which is, of course, when something decides to go wrong.“TURN UNDEAD!” you hear, whipping your head around to see the blue-haired woman usually with Kazuma pointing her staff at the skeleton man, firing a beam of light directly for his chest. He doesn't move, simply watching the beam approach. It then strikes him, the undead glowing with radiant power. His own retainers recoil from the light, the tiny one in the purple and red dress falling over, seemingly unconscious as the light washes over her. But then the light ends, the skeleton faintly smoking yet remaining standing. “Wh-Wha-?!”But her exclamation is cut short as Kazuma slams a fist atop her head, dropping the blue-haired woman to her knees.“Kazuma?! You hit me!” she exclaims, tears forming in her eyes. “Why did you do that?”Instead of answering her, however, he turns to the skeleton, bowing at the waist.“I'm so sorry, Lord Ainz, please excuse her rude behavior.” he says, extending his hand towards the skeleton. “Ray of Negative Energy.”And then fires a beam of Abyssal-seeming darkness, striking the skeletal Ainz much as Aqua's beam of light had. It has no visible effects, except that when it's over the skeleton is no longer smoking. But he seems more shocked by Kazuma's use of magic than her own attack spell.“D-Don't worry about it. Just keep her under control.” Ains replies, everyone watching as Kazuma then grabs her staff with his left and the back of her collar in her right, dragging her away despite her protests, flailing like a child throwing a temper tantrum. That was...Odd.cont
>>5590133Once her screaming is out of earshot the party picks back up, Chilli going over to the skeleton to make sure his group is alright while Yunyun goes to Megumin's side with them, apologizing again for the blue woman's behavior. You turn back from them to see your granddaughter looking at Tatsu's leg, trying to find his other foot. She looks at his leg, then his missing leg, then back to her great-grandfather in confusion as he laughs, then she goes back to looking for it while crawling on his lap while your younger children bombard him with questions about what happens once you die. One of his answers shocks you, as he speaks of being in a line of souls on a path to a castle, just like you'd seen before. The rest of your children follow his example, quickly giving you space. Thirty seconds pass, leaving just you, Meloka, Tatsu, and Meloka Wolback within fifty feet.“Where to begin...?” you mutter, taking a deep breath and telling him everything that happened with Freeza after his departure to the afterlife. You explain the Battle of Namek, how Freeza'd given himself up to Babidi's power and tried to kill not only the Ginyu Force, but Broly as well in an effort to get you mad enough to power up and fight him. Then how, years later once King Cold had finished beating him over his betrayal, he'd come to you offering his life to you for what he'd done. And how you'd lost your cool, beating him for how stupid he was being. Then how, after you'd tried to explain to him how badly he messed up, he STILL hadn't learned his lesson as Broly transformed into his Primal form, Freeza wanted to fight him. Yet despite his raging power he didn't fight, instead telling Freeza that he didn't want to ever see him again, much less fight him.“Hmmm. Let me ask you a question.” Tatsu says thoughtfully. “You still wish to remain friends with the emperor, right?”“Of course. We've been through so much, and it's thanks in no small part to him that we have all that we do. Hell, HE is the one who gave Chilli this world as his own to do with as he sees fit. But every time I see him, I can't get the vision of him trying to murder my son out of my mind.”“Seems that you are the one that must choose.” he tells you, to which you raise your gaze from your clenched fist. “Either you can hold onto that memory, that anger, and keep your hatred for his actions close. Or you can choose to let go.”“Let go?” you ask, genuinely astonished that your old man could even SUGGEST such a thing. “You think I can just let this go?”“I think that it's your choice.” he tells you. “He tried his best to seek your forgiveness, even offering his head on a platter to you should his sins be unforgivable. But you didn't accept even his life as recompense for his crime. Tell me, could he do ANYTHING to compensate his actions? Would any action he performed be enough to erase what he tried to do?”“I...I don't know.” you answer him honestly. But it seems he was expecting that answer, reaching over and grabbing your shoulder with his one good hand.“Then the choice is yours, not his.” he tells you. “Either you forgive him for his trespass, and let his one-time betrayal go. Or hold onto this grudge forever, keep this hatred and anger in your heart and never rebuild your friendship with him. There's no other option, no third path or magical wish that can make everything better.”cont
>>5590258You remain silent, pondering your father's words. Simply forgiving Freeza for trying to murder your son, just letting it go unanswered doesn't quite feel right. But Tatsu's right, the longer you think on it the more his wisdom makes sense. There's nothing he can do to take back his actions, to undo his betrayal. You could use your Stand's Dragon Pact to bind his future actions, but that doesn't undo his previous actions either. Is it really as simple as Tatsu says? That forgiving him isn't reliant on Freeza's actions, but a choice you have to make?“Our choices are all we are, at the end of the day.” your father says with a sigh, looking down at the shape he's in.Yet you have the feeling that's not what he's seeing. “Every choice we make has consequences, son. From choosing friends to taking a life, every single choice comes back to you in the end. Live your life so that you have no regrets.”His words resonate within you, raising your gaze to his own he has a small smile on his face. But as he's there, you see his body is actually starting to fade away.“Well, looks like my time's already up.” Tatsu says with a sigh, passing your granddaughter back and patting her head. “It was good to see you.”“You too.” you reply, then turn your head. “Everyone, come say goodbye to your grandfather.”The mood turns quite emotional, several of your children crying as they again have to say goodbye to their grandfather. His smile seems sad, but only a little as he tells everyone a personal goodbye. The last one he talks to is Chilli, your son walking up and clasping right forearms with him.“Thank you for this.” he tells him, Chilli nodding.“No, thank you.” he replies, and the two of them simply vanish. Several gasps of surprise sound out, you glancing to Meloka Wolbach who seems the most upset.“Daaa!” she calls, reaching out to where Chilli had been a moment before. But when he doesn't immediately reappear, she turns to you, pointing with her left. “Daa?”“It's okay, your daddy's gonna be back.” you tell her, reaching up and ruffling her hair as you'd done with your own children countless times. However, before your son reappears, the weather takes a turn for the worse. You watch as a single raindrop lands on the back of her hand, your granddaughter looking up at the greying sky. Just in time for another drop to land on her forehead. She flinches, burying her face into your neck to avoid getting any more on her face.Chilli then reappears, looking a bit down, then feels the rain as well. He glances up, then at the party about to get soaked by the storm rolling in. However, the skeleton then steps forward, taking a step towards your son. He's clearly up to something.cont
>>5590261“Would you mind if I fixed this unfavorable weather?” Ainz asks your son, who only nods to him. The skeleton nods back, raising both hands as a sphere of magical circles appears around him. From the Crimson Demons' shocked gasps, you have to assume that this is something spectacular. They all move and rotate around him, the skeleton keeping his arms up as the rain starts to really come down. But right as it does, his magic bursts forth with blinding light. You shield Meloka Wolbach's eyes from the light, shielding her a bit from it with your body, but then it's over.As you open your eyes, you see that the clouds are all gone. The day has changed from overcast to a clear blue sky, sun shining overhead. The skeleton lowers his arms with a sigh, whether of exertion or not you can't tell. But from how you hear everyone talking, such a feat is quite a show for the mages of this world. As the conversation immediately returns to buzzing, Chilli goes up and thanks him before turning to you, walking over.Well?>No words, just pass his daughter to Meloka before huggin him in thanks for today>Thank him for what he did for you, and ask what you can do for him and his family in return>Let him take the lead, thank him for seeing your father again after the party's over and his guests have left>Other(write in)

>>5590263You don't say anything, simply passing his daughter over to Meloka before rising up to your feet and walk over to him. Wordlessly you take him in your arms, hugging your son to you. He doesn't say anything either, simply holding you as well. You hold him tight to you, unable to put into words what you're feeling. But he clearly understands, the two of you standing there in silence for maybe half a minute before you let him go. Holding him at arm's length, he simply nods to you, to which you nod back before releasing his shoulders. He then turns to your wife, taking his daughter back after whispering something to her before turning back to the head table. He walks up, sitting his daughter into her child seat set between his seat and his wife before calling out to everyone.“Thank you all for coming. Now, let's all take our seats and get started!” he says, then clapping once. As he claps, you suddenly hear a noise coming from the Village Chief's home behind him. The double doors open, you seeing a half dozen crystal humanoid beings all walking out carrying a massive cake. They carry it to your granddaughter's seat, setting it down beside her. You see her eyes widen in surprise, a wide smile on her face as Chilli snaps his fingers. The single wick on top of the cake ignites, when suddenly the Crimson Demons all break into some sort of song. You and your wife look around in confusion, you notice that the skeleton man Ainz is actually humming along with it. Then as the song ends, Chilli grabs his daughter under her arms, flying up to the top of the cake and telling her to blow out the candle. Which she does, the Crimson Demons applauding. Chilli then flies her back down to her seat, taking the top round circle of cake down with the candle still in it, setting it down before her and taking the candle out. Which she immediately slams a hand down into, tearing a bit free and shoving it in her mouth. The moment she tastes it her eyes widen in surprise, pulling her fingers from her mouth and looking at the frosting still on them in shock.Meanwhile Chilli lifts the rest of the massive cake with his telekinesis, and with a whisper of power slices it into pieces. With practiced precision he then sends parts of the next several levels he'd cut of it down to the plates on every table, giving each of the guests a piece. He then takes a slightly larger cut for himself, cutting it in two so both halves fall down onto both his and his wife's plates before sitting beside her.“Help yourselves, there's plenty to go around!” he declares, everyone digging in. cont
>>5590375You see the carefully crafted crystal utensils on the table, but disregard them and instead use your telekinesis, lifting the frosted dessert to your mouth and taking a bite. It is quite sweet, the frosting almost sickeningly so while even the bread itself is softer than any you've had before, even Silver's. Which is quite impressive, as you'd never thought anyone else's cooking would even be in competition with your ship's master cook. But it's delicious, you devouring your piece in seconds. You then lean back into your seat, only to see one of his crystalline creatures taking another piece with its built-in cutter, walking over to you and placing another on your plate.Looking around, you see that others are doing the same, taking more pieces to others' plates that have already eaten their entire first piece. So you accept the second slice, slowing down considerably to savor the flavors. You enjoy the treat, watching as the massive cake slowly dwindles away, everyone enjoying the taste of it. Then, once everyone's done and the cake is gone, Chilli rises back up to his feet while Megumin picks up their daughter, addressing the gathering.“Now then, we'll move on to the gifts.” he says, waving his hand. The tables all shatter as one, splintering and falling to piles on the ground before the shards spread across the ground, forming a rough circle on the ground beneath you all before re-hardening. “If you all are ready, we'll head on over now.”You sit on the chair as this entire crystal mass lifts into the air, several Crimson Demons shouting in surprise as you all rise up, flying over towards his home. He carries you all through the air, setting it down beside his house. You feel the crystal beneath your feet moving, feeling tremors through it as it no doubt anchors itself into the ground.“I shall go first.” Megumin says, raising her left hand towards their home as the crystal wedding ring on her finger glows with a soft, pale light. Her magical staff leaps from the tower's roof, spinning end over end through the air before landing perfectly in her outstretched hand as she looks to her daughter. “You ready?”“Baaaaaah?” your granddaughter asks, Megumin leaning down and rubbing her nose back and forth against her daughter's.“Baaaah indeed.” she says, then passes off her daughter to your son. “Now, feast your eyes on THIS!”cont
>>5590379https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERKnkHq-6XA&ab_channel=Ashen“Darkness, blacker than black and darker than dark. I beseech thee, combine with my deep crimson. The time of awakening cometh!” she declares, raising her staff overhead in both hands as her magical circles blaze to life around her. “Though I promulgate the laws of nature, I am the alias of destruction incarnate! I desire for my torrent of power a destructive force, to return all of creation to cinders and let the hammer of eternity descend!”She then points her staff down, down on the other side of the mountain into the empty plain which is clearly scarred from all sorts of magical attack being unleashed. Seems that this is their firing range, and Megumin's about to show off her full power.“BURST FORTH! EXPLOOOOOOOOOSION!!”KABOOOOOOOOOMYour daughter-in-law unleashes a greater blast than you've ever seen her wield before, the magical attack damn near blinding as she unleashes it. You immediately brace yourself, knowing the shock wave such an attack would kick up just before it hits. Several people shout as the blast knocks them over, but above their panic you hear your granddaughter's laughter, watching as she uncoordinatedly claps, applauding her mother's display. Once the blast is over you see Megumin sag for a moment, Chilli placing a hand on the small of her back as you feel him sending his own power into her to keep her standing. Chilli then hands Meloka Wolbach over to her, letting his wife sit down as he then turns to the rest of the group expectantly.“Now, who's next?” he asks the stunned group as everyone goes silent. Then another voice calls out, you all turning around to see the newest late arrival. And you're quite surprised to see that not only has Towa arrived with your three half-demon children, but she's come with Future Chaya, Ace, Cell, and most surprisingly of all Mechikabura himself. And despite your joy at seeing your family's faces, know that a fight with the Time Patrol is all but inevitable. But there's no way in hell you'll let them ruin this day for your son, and ESPECIALLY for your granddaughter! But then Mechikabura raises both hands, space distorting around him as he speaks.“TEMPORAL LOCK! CHRONOSTASIS! IMPENITRABLE DIMENSION!” he calls, and with each what you assume to be spell, space itself seems to bend and distort around him. Then with a sigh he lowers his hands, raising his gaze to your son. “There. That should keep any... Unwanted guests out. Now, let the celebration continue!”-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 192 paused-
>>5590381And that's it for this weekend, everyone enjoy the birthday party so far? Ready to see what other manner of gifts have been gathered for your granddaughter? Curious how Mechikabura was convinced to come along, and seemingly shield the entire event from the Supreme Kai of Time's meddling influence? Did you enjoy getting one last talk with the old man, and are ready to see what happens next? All this and more, next week when this episode of Saiyan Conqueror Quest continues!
>>5590379Someone make an edit of this with Karn, STAT.
>>5590379>You see the carefully crafted crystal utensils on the table, but disregard them and instead use your telekinesis, lifting the frosted dessert to your mouth and taking a bite.Pic related, the true reason we learned Telekinesis.>>5590386I appreciate him holding the party crashers back for a moment, though I assume that also means he has something to tell us that can't wait.I also assume Chronoa is well aware of this dimensional bubble she can't penetrate, so we're probably gonna get jumped as soon as it's dispelled.Sure would be a shame if our entire family had their most destructive attacks charged as soon as they showed up...
>>5590394Fuck, dropped my pic and realized another anon already posted it.
>>5590393Ha!>>5590394>a momentHeh. You'll have to wait and see.She knows. But unlike Chilli's attempt with the timeless Dark that they couldn't SEE into, this barrier is nigh-impenetrable. SKoT would have to overpower Mechikabura's spelled shield. Ha.
AYYYY FUCKING BUDOKAI TENKAICHI 4 GOT ANNOUNCED!

>>5590486Mechikabura's efforts to cultivate plot armor haven't gone unnoticed. It's a crying shame Chronoa just fucking let it happen...again.
>>5590386I am both worried and excited to go on more Time Breaker missions to see how this turns out. Papa Tatsu coming home was sweeter than the cake. How did Ainz and his crew react to Karn almost ripping carrot top in half by his asshole, and then the family send off of grandpa? What is Ainz reaction to Mechi? And is anyone prepared for the Event Horizon of Gratitude for the day going so well that Karn is going to unleash with Meloka?
>>5590443This has been in the grave for so damn long, why bring it back now?
>>5590492Time travel makes a dumb bitch dumb and complacent. But she'll feel Karn shoulder deep before she can live to regret it.

>>5590493>And is anyone prepared for the Event Horizon of Gratitude for the day going so well that Karn is going to unleash with Meloka?Naw fuck that noise, were getting the whole family in on this. Even Uncle Cell, Ace, and all the Crimson Demon clan who came to the party.
>>5590499>we accidentally the moon in front of the entire planet

>>5590495I assume it's because every other licensed anime arena fighter they put out in the last decade has severely underperformed and they'd like to justify the existence of the people who regularly work on those games.
>>5590499Ha. Not entirely wrong, but a slight exaggeration>>5590504I’ll just say this, it’ll be one hell of a lightshow>>5590507Ha, but you have better aim than that.>>5590546Well when you consider the average AAA game takes 3-7 years to develop, was probably started after the hype(and revenue) of the anime’s finale, if not DBSBroly. Broly makes more sense to me, as they would have gotten the models for several characters from that.
Ain’t gonna lie, just watched the trailer a couple times. That looks beautiful. Might be the first release day purchase from your qm since Gears fucking 3 dropped.
>>5590627Ya figure it'll be called BT4, or Super Budokai Tenkaichi?
>>5590381Thanks for that solid Mechi. But damn seriously what kind of an asshole organization do you have to be to warrant defensive measures for a baby's first birthday party? I get it if it was the one time but holy fucking shit do the Time Patrol just have no shame or honor? They will never know the joys of being in a Go-Kart competition with their archenemies on a saturday.
>>5590636Definitely gonna milk that Super naming scheme. No way they don't, not with all the branding over the past 6 years.>>5590655He's really determined to have you loyal to him like you were loyal to him in his past life, before he lost everything. And ha, true. But you just KNOW that they would have tried something without Mechikabura present. Perhaps he's already seen how it goes if he didn't, and decided to change it?
>>5590712>Perhaps he's already seen how it goes if he didn't, and decided to change it?Did we just avoid the incident that results in Punished Chilli's timeline?
>>5590723>avoidNo, because that timeline still exists.
>>5590726Alternate timelines are also simultaneously alternate realities in DB verse so removing the conditions necessary to create the timeline won't make it not happen. But you already knew that. It's kind of central to how Future Trunks can still exist.
>>5590739Yes but you know what I meant. YOU didn’t avoid anything, as that’d imply you had a choice. And no, he was a bit older. More attached to his wife and kids
>>5591146Kids as in plural? Did future Chili end up having more kids with Megumin?
>>5591263>Implying that wasn't a forgone conclusion.

>>5591846>spoilerMan, he better not be doing something dumb.>Also to thise of you still going to the archive and voting, I see and appreciate youThank you for reminding me GD.On an unrelated note, how's your workout going?
>>5591852He seems to live exclusively to do dumb things. Honestly it's almost impressive, how often he's fucked up.
>>5591939He's controlled by anons who specifically fucking despise the character and want him to die. His QM just keeps plot armoring him back though.
>>5591852He’s actually been thinking.Of course. And rather well, most days.>>5591869Ha>>5591939He’s quite impressive, but not in a good way. He must have taken brain damage in Xenoverse 1 after getting mind controlled, because how does a SUPER SAIYAN get Ginyu’d?>>5591942Ha!>His QM just keeps plot armoring him back though. An apt description. What is the SKoT, if not the most on-rails qm ever? Every story WILL follow their specific path, no deviations!
>>5592284>Oh God, thinking is a super power
>>5592361>His IQ is over 90!>WHAT?! 90? There's no way that can be right!
>>5592361>>5592635Ha. But no, he’ll actually struggle with an important realization. Specifically in reference to Karn
>>5592759Is he finally asking himself the question "Would I have acted differently in Karn's place?"
>>5592765Not quite. More of “why haven’t I seen him since Chilli’s wedding, aside from that one time he came only after ME specifically for what I accidentally did to Chaya?” Almonds will be activated
>>5592771Oh, so his doggy sense is triggered, but not, "Am I the bad guy here?", Pink Bitch trained him well.
>>5592771I don't think he has the strategic acumen or emotional maturity to realize either of the major points our relative absence has implied.
>>5592786He's been fighting basically this entire time since the Covenant War and Chilli's wedding against Mechikabura's Dark Empire. Yet has only seen you those times in this entire conflict. Which bothers him in ways he can't articulate.>>5592790He doesn't get it, especially since Future Chaya and now Ace both have played such active roles in the battles so far. Although you DID essentially fulfill his nightmare scenario when you just appear while he's on a mission and beat him to death.
>>5592887O...oh my God, he's having a why aren't you evil and stalking me like an ex moment...
>>5592919Not quite. He’s been on or at least seen most of the Time Patrol’s battles with the Dark Empire. Yet Karn never participates. Despite him damn well knowing you leave your timeline MONTHLY for the past almost half-decade now. And Karn’s family is clearly on Mechikabura’s side, so why doesn’t he ever see you fighting?
>>5592929........I SWEAR BOI, YOU FUCK UP FAMILY TIME, YOU WILL NEVER BE ALLOWED DEATH, YOU WILL SUFFER PAIN FOR ETERNITY!
>>5592935All according to keikaku
>>5592887>Although you DID essentially fulfill his nightmare scenario when you just appear while he's on a mission and beat him to deathTowa should find another Ozotto and have him stalk Trunks as Karn.
>>5592929Because meki is still grooming us probably.
>>5593064That would lessen his fear, not increase it. Like seeing the monster in a horror movie instead of its presence being implied.>>5593096That’s what makes no sense to him. He witnessed what happened after his death during the Wedding fight from the scroll, saw Mechikabura come to your aid and saw you kill a SKoT. He doesn’t understand why you aren’t leading every battle, as Mechikabura’s most deadly weapon.
>>5593127>"Why isn't he just spamming Karn?"So you don't figure out how to counter him you fucking nitwit! You don't just throw your ultimate technique out over and over, do you?
>>5593140.....he does though. His only thing is throwing Ults every five seconds....its all any of his friends do to....
>>5593144>Yeah I'm really good at fighting games. I know all the quarter circle light moves they're super cool. Truly Trunks is a casual amongst casuals.
>>5593144>.....he does though. His only thing is throwing Ults every five seconds....its all any of his friends do to....He must be the Legendary Super Saiyan then, because that boy is fucking GREEN!
>>5593140That’s not really a fair argument, considering they already try that with the secret PQs of basically every Karn encounter. Even the one where Trunks got jumped is a PQ, and one of the worst too. Karn STAYS locked on to boi, unless you Mr Satan ult to force aggro pull.>>5593144Trunks isn’t some highly skilled warrior, he learned to fight from the most-beaten character in Z.>>5593154Ha>>5593160Heh
>>5593468Being Xeno Trunks really is suffering>Grow up in a post apocalypse shithole ruled over by two superpowered cyborg teenagers>Only company are your half crazy mother and your stunted master>your master loses his arm after you get your ass beat by the droids in an amusement park>master also dies after fighting the cyborgs and losing for the 1754th time, left you behind>you catch Ls for 17 years straight, even after getting the super saiyan transformation of legend>go to the past and get swole, FINALLY get a W against the androids and kill them>get punked like a bitch by an oversized cockroach right after despite the power gap in your favor>get recruited by a woefully incompetent but divine midget flattie when you should've died>cant really refuse her offer now can you>leave your future behind and everything you stood for to be her new boy slave and tard wrangling other time patrollers even shittier at fighting than you are>fast forward to stopping another rogue timeline and Towa's shenanigans>get humiliated by a Saiyan warrior atleast 500 times weaker than you are>makes you question your manhood and your moral character while beating you senseless>for the next decade or so when you're not getting hoodwinked by Towa and the demon time travelers you get viciously mauled to death by the actual Saiyan warrior who turns into Broly Deluxe later on>You and your team get mogged so much you're treated as jobber fodder, including by your employer>your employer keeps feeding you bullshit to keep you docile, has no regard at all for your well being other than your capacity to fight and follow orders>the closest person to a "homie" you had, who was also one of the few people on your side laying hands on the other team's juggernauts, chooses hoes over bros and joins the bad guys>your only game is a 6/10 human jobber while your former bro gets Primal Super Saiyan pussy daily>all of this while you and your side continue to get violated by Big Green, and the rest of his family and friends>Tears your squad apart on the regular, but HE only goes after YOU first>to rub salt in the wound he only shows up after crashing his family parties like a jackass, and never when you're fighting the time travelling demons anywhere else>its nearly guaranteed that you and your organization eats shit of the highest order when this happens>somehow the L is always your faultAtleast he doesn't know when to quit, but im not sure if thats a good thing
>>5593573At this point I have to question if the karmic respawning is actually causing problems in his brain that Pink Bitch just shrinks in his skull. Like its small bits of cancer making him dumber.
>>5593573His one positive trait is inheriting both his mother and father’s pride, making him always sure of his decisions and choices, as well as never backing down once his mind’s made up. Boi’s the only being currently in SCQ who takes less Determination damage than Karn, except in fights with Karn himself.>>5593636No, because her revive is undoing the death. Remember, SKoT CONTROLS time.
>>5593656SKoT undoes time but not dumbasses. Its not a perfect process.
>>5593671What's really happening is SKoT has been microdosing Trunks with brain rot since she got her grubby midget hands on him. It's the only explanation.
>>5593724Ya know, we've theorized that long-term exposure to Divine Ki makes people arrogant and irrational.Chronoa's subtle manipulation aside, I think unlocking Super Saiyan God ruined Trunks permanently.
>>5593755The theory checks out. I think Fu or some other time travelling dickhead found a Karn with SSB to fight other Karns that chose different transformation paths and he was the cockiest shit out of all of them. And if we look in canon, Goku got dropped by a pea laser in RoF because of his divine arrogance, and then even Whis in the Manga called Goku out for being too full of himself. I think it's just something about divine power and the reduction of critical thinking. I wonder if anyone has studied it yet.
QM UPDATEAlright, bit of news. This weekend I'll only be running Saturday and not Sunday, as family stuff's come up. This episode will end this Saturday, and as of right now the new episode will start the weekend of the 18th/19th. To the patrons, I've not been keeping up with the promised content, which I'm hopefully going to fix starting this Monday once I've reorganized my notes and can differentiate between what I've already posted and what I haven't there. As far as Saiyan Conqueror Quest itself is concerned, how have you all been enjoying the episodes this year so far? Enjoy the faster pacing as we head through the timeskip to the fated battle with Beerus? Once that happens, are you ready for the Meloka pastebin and movelist to finally drop? Ready for the Meloka fight you get to control her POV from? Which have been your favorite character arcs from SCQ, and which are you looking forward to seeing continue? Whose arc have you wanted to see more of, or perhaps less of? And, most importantly, are you still enjoying this wild ride?>>5593671Ha.>>5593724Well that's certainly a way to refer to divine power.>>5593755Quite possibly. Wait until he goes further down that path into Blue, and maybe eventually even further beyond.>>5593847Mechikabura did host that one epilogue of Karn vs Karn vs Karn. As far as studied, the gods are (mostly) too arrogant to allow their judgment questioned. Except for one, who may or may not have realized it happening to him and stepped down. Partially for that very reason
>>5594027>Wait until he goes further down that path into BlueOh god>Amplified Divine Ki exposure>Super Saiyan's inherent aggression and restlessnessOh he's gonna be a fucking NUISANCE!I'm still holding out hope that Trunks wakes up and realizes just how badly he's being fucked over. At the end of the day, he's just another kid who needs help, and Karn is decidedly the patron saint of lost Saiyan children..>Except for one, who may or may not have realized it happening to him and stepped down. Partially for that very reason.I have to wonder if Jergal isn't indirectly culling the Divine population through Chilli.
>>5594078Trunks gonna be worse as Blue, that's for sure. SKoT has realized that her INITIAL plan of how to handle Mechikabura won't work as certain things haven't happened and has decided she needs her minions to be even stronger.>spoilerWe'll see.>I have to wonder if Jergal isn't indirectly culling the Divine population through Chilli. Not yet, Chilli must become stronger first
>>5594085Good plan, but I can imagine he hit a very obvious roadblock. He can't make the young man his official champion without having tying Chilli's crusade back to himself and his own plans. He must be focusing on Chilli's "natural" long-term growth via carefully cultivated schemes and manipulations of events, right? Patience is Jergal's strong suit after all.
>>5594027And before I forget about your questionnaire...>how have you all been enjoying the episodes this year so far?Very good, very comfy, and it's nice to see more of the fruits of our labor start to become apparent.>Enjoy the faster pacing as we head through the timeskip to the fated battle with Beerus?Seems like it's necessary at this point, so I can't really complain.>Once that happens, are you ready for the Meloka pastebin and movelist to finally drop?I can't wait to have to shout through text to get anons to get creative with Meloka's moveset. But no really I'm excited.>spoilerYes, but I'm also anxious because the player dice rolls for the women of Karn's family have been historically bad.>Which have been your favorite character arcs from SCQBroly, Vegeta IV, and Chaya are stand-outs to me.>and which are you looking forward to seeing continue?I'm curious to see how Caulifla's develops later on her life.I hope she comes to terms with her limitations and realizes that she doesn't have to shoulder everybody's burdens just because she technically can.I also wanna see Chilli get a better understanding of his own upbringing under Karn as he raises his own children...and deal with his Trauma. I hope he's not still having nightmares.>Whose arc have you wanted to see more of, or perhaps less of?I've honestly wanted to see more of Ubo's, but I get why we haven't. Too many good options whenever it comes up.That said I'm very excited to see it come to a head soon.>or perhaps less of?None. This quest lives off of character writing. Whether that be narrative arcs, progression, or interaction. The overall character writing is why I even care about a bunch of cartoon and videogame characters beating each other to death in the first place.>And, most importantly, are you still enjoying this wild ride?Ye
>>5593847Red Knight sure as shit didn't deny God power makes a LOT of them retarded.>>5594027These sol episodes and general upkeep have been more engaging than any mainstream content out there.I'm a bit sad we can't even MOAR side content to talk to everyone, but that's asking for a bit much, but I'm looking forward to beating Beerus to a standstill.>Meloka Movelist>Hidden character that everyone sees is finally getting dropped>She WILL be broken as hell to the Meta.>We will demonstrate the walking BlenderToo many Arcs to count, but I'm proud of Chaya getting her head out her ass, getting concerned for Caulifla's mental health, but I am waiting eagerly, for BOI's mindbreak moment when he realises he's the bad guy.Would not be here otherwise, best quest on the site.>>5594085HAIL JERGAL, THE ONLY GOOD GOD AMONGST A SEA OF INTERGALICTIC SHIT!

>>5594094>spoilerHe made his intentions clear to the other gods by recruiting Chilli AFTER Chilli used his Chaos magic that first time.>>5594110The family stuff is always great.Once Karn and Meloka’s horizons expand, they will be able to move forward.>get anons to get creative with Meloka's movesetOh boy, it’s a WILD set of powers. And I won’t drop it right on a fight time, will have it dropped hopefully a week before her big fight.True, but this’ll be different. All good arcs. We’ll see how both Broly and Chaya’s arcs conclude soon, while Vegeta and Chilli go through their similar new dad arcs.Chilli’s growth is great. But how will his trauma affect his parenting? How far will he go to keep his daughter ‘safe’?Ubo will be next episode, depending on how this one finishes up.>None. This quest lives off of character writing. Whether that be narrative arcs, progression, or interaction.>The overall character writing is why I even care about a bunch of cartoon and videogame characters beating each other to death in the first place.Appreciate this. Was really insecure about that aspect of my writing when I started out and worked really hard to make everyone ’feel’ unique.Good to hear.>>5594116>These sol episodes and general upkeep have been more engaging than any mainstream content out there.High praise, thank you. And character-focused content won’t STOP once Beerus is battled. But character AND ‘main’ plot progression will both happen again.Meloka will be able to go all out for her fight, that’s for sure.>CauliflaSoon.>BoiSooner.>Would not be here otherwise, best quest on the site.Thank you.>>5594119If the enemy is better than you, you can do one of two things: either improve to match or surpass their level, or increase your power above them to the point their skill is irrelevant.
>>5594158.....she literally has a Coping Giren in her backlines, the fuck does she expect that to do?
>>5594179Jiren’s been called out more and more to help handle Ace and Future Chaya when they show up. Specifically, when Gogeta Blue or Vegito SS4 runs out of time and needs covering to re-fuse into their other fusion for more time.
>>5594205It sure would be a shame if Jiren just fucking died and couldn't cover for Goku and Vegeta.
>>5594233Shhhhush, don't let Pinky catch a good idea
>>5594233Anyone managing that would be quite impressive, as both Fused Zamasu and Dark Broly aren’t quite on his level>>5594240Hwut?
>>5594681Pinky learning strategy by protecting her tank is bad
>>5594681Turning Jiren the Dull & Gray into a chalk outline is pointless since The Supreme Kunt of Time will just insta rezz him between fights, but other than getting a lucky hit in with Divine Cheese Force I think that if Ace and Future Chaya worked together they could have a good shot at putting him down. They could also fuse and obliterate him that way but I don't know if they're just gonna get away with something like that, or if their own transformations would even "mix" that well together.
-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 192 Intermission-AGE 865, CONTON CITY“It's nice that everything's calmed down a bit, that finally we get a bit of time to ourselves.” Hyoka says to you, the two of you sitting on the steps outside of the restaurant, both holding your ice cream cones while sitting and watching people go about their day. “How long has it been since we've just been able to sit and relax?”“Too long.” you reply with a sigh, enjoying the nice weather and pleasant company. You are Trunks: Apprentice to the Supreme Kai of Time and the longest-serving Time Patroller, wielder of the divine power of Super Saiyan God and currently enjoying the first break you've had in what feels like years. After Mechikabura made himself known, he's started a campaign of terror across time, causing chaos and destruction with his minions to distort nearly every single timeline. But that is all a distraction, a play to hide his real goal: gathering the Dark Dragon Balls. The Supreme Kai of Time had told you of their power, how if they were used could cause unfixable harm to time itself. That wish could even power up the ancient Demon God beyond the Supreme Kai of Time's ability to stop with her divine powers, conquering all of time. Yet not all hope is lost, as during the fighting with his forces over the past years you all managed to secure three of the Dark Dragon Balls, the Supreme Kai of Time sealing them away within the Time Nest in a space only she has access to. So that threat, for now, is averted. Yet, despite this, you still feel uneasy.“C'mon, stop thinking about work already.” Hyoka says, punching you lightly on the shoulder with her free hand. “We have the day off, so stop. Save work's problems for work, and lighten up.”“Haaaah, you're right. Worrying won't solve anything after all.” you say, sighing out and trying to push the war and all its problems from your mind. Yet, despite the weather being as perfect as ever in Conton City and people going about their days, the signs of ongoing war are ever-present. You see far fewer people just going about their days, instead more groups of students learning flight under instructors like Piccolo and Gohan, or following behind Roshi wearing massive weighted shells on their backs while jogging down the streets, milk crates in hand. Few people are stopping to chat with each other, or even sitting or standing around enjoying the day. Everyone is moving with a purpose, going somewhere, only making the two of you standing around stand out even more.
>>5595269“C'mon, I know how to take your mind off all this.” she says, taking a couple steps down the stairs then stops, turning to look back up at you. “You coming?”“Yeah yeah, I'm coming.” you say, turning your gaze away from the training students and follow behind your girlfriend as she walks down the steps. The two of you finish your desserts before leaving the urban area behind, returning to the central area. You see the central projection, again feeling a pang of sadness that Ace's image is no longer being projected, no longer watching over Conton City. Instead you see another up-and-coming Time Patroller, one who you faintly remember winning last month's tournament. But that only serves to remind you once more that he's gone, bewitched and taken away from you all by one of Karn's spawn Chaya and that damned witch Towa. You sigh as you see it, lost in thought when Hyoka suddenly speaks up, snapping you out of your thoughts.“You really miss him, don't you?” she asks, you looking down to see her concerned eyes.“Yeah.” you reply, feeling down. When she grabs you by the arm, taking you from the hologram and lifting into the air. You follow her to the top of the dome overlooking the Parallel Quest time machines, landing in the small alcove there. A couple of people are talking, but seeing the two of you come alone they all share looks and dip without a word. Seems the rumors of what go on up here from time to time are true, will have to figure out something to handle this. Don't want people getting too familiar in public and causing a scandal when caught. But once they're gone she turns back to you, grabbing you by the forearms and levitating to your height, eye-to-eye.“What's wrong? You've been down all day. No, no not just today.” she starts, you quickly getting the feeling this has been building up in her for awhile as she keeps talking. “Lately you've changed. You no longer seem excited or even content with anything. I can't remember the last time I saw you happy for more than a second or two. Talk to me Trunks, I can't help you unless you tell me what's wrong.”“Nothing's wrong, I'm just-” you start, when suddenly Hyoka slaps you across the face! The sudden stinging sensation shocks you, you holding your cheek in stunned silence as she glares, now seemingly genuinely angry.“Don't feed me that BULLSHIT!” she snarls, grabbing you by the collar and getting into your face. “I've known you too long for that to fly with me. Something's clearly wrong. I don't know if it's whatever the Supreme Kai of Time has you doing in secret that's gotten you like this or what, but this mopey 'woe is me' shit stops today! Got it?”“I....” you start, then close your mouth as you see the tears forming in the corners of her eyes. “Hyoka...”
>>5595272“Don't you 'Hyoka' me, dammit!” she says, but you grab her by the arms and pull her in, holding her close. You can feel she wants to keep going, but lets you have this moment in silence. Then, once you feel ready let her go a bit, sighing out and sitting on the ledge.“You're right. Its just.... I've felt so tired lately.” you say, looking down at your hands resting palms up on your knees. “No matter what I do, how hard I try, how long I fight for the right thing, nothing ever works out.”“What do you mean?” she asks, walking over and sitting beside you. “What's not worked?”“I guess it all started back in my original timeline.” you tell her, mind flashing back to all the death and pointless violence you'd witnessed in your youth. “I tried to help my mentor Gohan against the Androids, but it cost him his arm and then life. I go back to the past to help Goku, to fix my own timeline, but instead I split the timelines, doing nothing to fix my own time. I go back again to help, getting strong training with Father to become a powerful warrior, and go back to my own time to defeat the Androids. Only to get my energy stolen by Cell, who killed me then stole the time machine and made even more problems for that other timeline.”“Then she appeared.” you say, leaning back and remembering the first time you'd met the Supreme Kai of Time. If you knew then what you know now, would you have even agreed? Or would you have stayed dead, moved on to whatever comes next? “The Supreme Kai of Time.”“You never told me this story before.” she says, reaching over and placing her left hand in your right, giving you a gentle squeeze. “What happened next?”“When my soul was brought forth for judgment by King Yemma, she arrived and leveled all her charges against me.” you tell her honestly as best you can remember. “For breaking the timeline and being the root cause of several branches, my soul was to be sent to the deepest pit of hell for the next thousand years or so. Or, I could work directly for her. I'd get my life and body back, but I would have to work for her until she was satisfied to 'atone' for my crimes.”“And you agreed to it.” she says, frowning a bit in what looks like disappointment? Anger? You can't quite tell. “Just like that?”“Of course. I thought I'd really messed up back then.” you tell her, remembering back to being scolded so fiercely by the tiny Kai. At the time she'd reminded you of your mother, scolding you for rushing off to fight the Androids instead of taking the time machine back to the past. “You should have heard her, I don't think I've ever heard her that angry since.”
>>5595277“So you were brought back to life, then taken to Toki Toki City?” Hyoka asks, you shaking your head.“No, not quite. When I joined up, all she had was the Time Nest itself outside of the normal flow of time.” you tell her, remembering back. “At first everything was fine, but then trouble started. The branches I'd caused by using my mother's Time Machine kept branching out, and things started changing. We were running ourselves ragged trying to keep up with the ever-expanding pile of new Time Scrolls, keeping their branches straight, and we needed more help.”“This was when you started recruiting from your own timeline.” she says, you nodding to her.“Yes. At first we took the remaining people from my timeline's Earth, which I learned was only a few decades away from Zamasu eradicating everyone anyways with no one to protect them, and brought them there. Along with the remains of Capsule Corp, and with their help, we created Toki Toki City from scratch. But then timelines started getting interfered with, and we couldn't find out the source. All the Supreme Kai could tell was that someone was using dark magic to change history. So, she had me gather the Dragon Balls. And make the wish. 'Give me a strong ally. Someone with the kind of power to help me defend time itself.' was the exact wording she insisted I use.”“Wait. Hold on.” she says, rising to her feet, eyes wide and almost seeming....Scared? “So, what you're telling me is.....?”“Yes. My par....Ace, isn't actually someone from any of our timelines. He was actually created by Shenron. With the power of the Dragon Balls, Shenron designed the perfect warrior to protect time itself. He...He was amazing, Hyoka. You hadn't joined up yet, but especially in those early years he was extraordinary. Within only a few hours of arriving, he went from around Raditz's powerlevel to actually fighting one-on-one against Beerus and actually landing attacks.”“Wait, he WHAT?!” she shouts, jaw dropping in shock. But you can only give a sad smile in response, remembering how good and easy things used to be. “How?”“Ace always got stronger in response to whoever he was fighting.” you tell her. “Sort of like what happened when Goku and Vegeta fought Broly on Earth, but accelerated even greater. Hell, he fought against Perfect Cell alongside Gohan before even learning how to go Super Saiyan himself. Ace was special. He even managed to beat the Demon God Demigra before learning Super Saiyan 3. But then, as we enjoyed our victory, disaster struck. Toki Toki City was destroyed, and we fell.”
>>5595279“And landed here.” she finishes for you, an almost apprehensive look on her face. “I'd heard about this shortly after I joined up, but no one could ever tell me why Toki Toki City fell. The only thing I ever found out was that our Guardian Dragon up there is the one that did it.”“I'm not allowed to talk about it, but let's just say the road to hell is paved with good intentions.” you say, covering for the Supreme Kai of Time's mistake. “However, that story is right in that it did destroy the first city, ruining years of hard work I'd put into making Toki Toki city a livable place for everyone. All that effort, gone in an instant. Bringing us back to square one.”“But now we have Conton City, and a whole lot more people can live here than on that floating city that you'd made before.” she says, trying to cheer you up. “Isn't that at least a small win?”“Yeah.” you say with a sigh. “Eventually I was able to build a new home here for everyone, one with plenty of room to grow into something greater with a lot of help. But then I lost my partner.”“You didn't LOSE him.” she says, grabbing you by the face while looking rather serious herself. “He CHOSE to leave us all behind, all to chase some bitch tail. So much for the 'stalwart defender of time', he abandoned us for our enemies! And for the daughter of the one who killed you! He doesn't see any of us as friends anymore.”“I don't know if he ever did.” you say, clearly shocking her as that same regret and doubt you've felt for years bubbles back up to the surface. “He never talked much, never about himself or what he wanted out of life. He was always so mission focused, so determined to succeed that I'd actually wondered if he even HAD personal wants. If only I'd known, if only I'd known that he wasn't happy, maybe I could have done something to keep him from leaving.”“I still don't think he's their willing guest. I'm certain they've gotten his mind scrambled.” Hyoka says, crossing her arms. “There's no way he could go from fighting her almost to death on several occasions to chasing her tail and abandoning everything he's ever fought for on his own. He wouldn't just CHOOSE that.”“I thought the same way too, for a while anyways.” you say, again sighing as you rest your elbows on your knees, head in your hands. “But, after....”Your mind goes back to the battle the other day, the day you'd had to confront Ace personally in battle since his betrayal and again feel that stabbing pain to the gut. His words to you had cut you deep, not because they were aggressively harmful but because they were simply true. You hadn't been a good friend to him, never asking how he was or if he needed help, or even just hung out outside of the missions. And the price of your negligence was him turning his back on you all.
>>5595280“It's all my fault.” you say, putting your head in your hands. “If I'd have done more for him, tried harder, SOMETHING! Then he'd still be here.”“Trunks....” she says softly, you barely hearing her as your mistakes pile up in your mind. Everything you've done so far has led to failure and destruction, always ending worse than it was before you'd done anything. But then you feel her arms around you, pressing herself to you as she simply holds you. “It's not your fault Trunks. You can't save everyone, none of us can. And we can't change the past, not our own and not to fix our mistakes. All we can do is do our best, every single day, and never give up. No matter what life throws our way, we have to keep pushing forward.”You feel her words deep in your soul, stirring something within you. You aren't quite sure what this is, but you feel... Better. Relieved almost. You feel, for the first time in a long time that you aren't just wasting your efforts in an endless war with no end in sight. But that what you're doing has MEANING.“You're right.” you say, grabbing onto her and standing, lifting your girlfriend into the air. “No matter how bad things get, we have to just keep moving forward. Even if-”“Trunks, to the Time Nest IMMEDIATELY!” the Supreme Kai of Time's voice calls out, a note of panic in her voice. You and Hyoka share a look then immediately blast off up the mountain. “Trunks, to the Time Nest immediately.”“Evil never stops.” you say with a sigh, flying right to the Time Nest portal with Hyoka by your side. Reality distorts, you feeling the uncomfortable sensation of your body being compressed and expanded at the same time, then you're through. Immediately the two of you jog past the Giru-like Capsule Corp droids to take Time Patrollers on different missions, heading directly to the Time Nest proper. You see the tiny Kai there, waving you both over while Toki Toki, the giant white bird that mostly resembles an owl. You both hurry over, the Supreme Kai of Time looking worried. “What's the problem?”“Come look at this.” she says, ducking back inside. You and Hyoka share a look, following her inside. Walking down the steps to the central table, you see she has a familiar scroll laid out on the table, radiating with demonic divine magical energy.“Mechikabura.” you mutter, your boss hearing you and turning.“Yes. He's making a move into THAT timeline.” she says worriedly, lifting the scroll and handing it over. “Take a look.”And as you watch, you feel a familiar dread welling up from within. You remember what happened to you the LAST time you'd gone to that particular planet.-Saiyan Conqueror Quest 192 Intermission End-
>>5595283Alright now I have a question.Is Hyoka even real?
>>5595283Boi, you take one fucking move, you will regret not going straight to Hell. Because we are worse than your Father, we will be there to make sure you stay and suffer.>>5595323Million Yeni Question right there. She comes off as a back room wish Pink Bitch made to mold Trunks.
>>5595323Yes, as Trunks can talk with and hold her, and others can see and interact with her as well.>>5595336We'll see what happens this coming Saturday.>She comes off as a back room wish Pink Bitch made to mold Trunks.HA! All I'll say on this matter is that she is a real person with her own history in Conton City before joining the Time Patrol. As nearly everyone born and raised in Conton City does.
>>5595343She sure is wishy washy and telling Trunks exactly what she thinks he wants to hear, though. That flip flop she did about Ace. Suspicious. Fucking time glowies.
>>5595343.....this bitch got a Ace-esk brainwashing by Pink Bitch to get in his head, isn't she?
>>5595345>Suspicious. Fucking time glowiesHeh. I wouldn't trust them, personally.>>5595354>.....this bitch got a Ace-esk brainwashing by Pink Bitch to get in his head, isn't she?If such a thing happened, wouldn't Trunks have realized her behavior had noticeably shifted or changed? After all, they've been together for over half a decade now.
>>5595380Wouldn't notice if she got picked to work with him at the start because of the brainwashing. Or micro timewashing to get her to do the results that manipulate Trunks to her will
>>5595387For that to work, Chronoa would have to know who Trunks would fall for ahead of time and pre-ready her for the role
>>5595412>For that to work, Chronoa would have to know who Trunks would fall for ahead of time and pre-ready her for the roleGiven how life seems to stomp on Trunks like it's American History X, I think he'd have fallen for any women who was actually supportive of him.
>>5595280pretty sure hyoka was there when that blunder happened, but I'm not going to look for the epilogue
>>5595412Not like she couldn't.
>>5595413Not quite, he does have his own tastes in women.>>5595418>pretty sureThat's an important fact to know for sure. But Trunks certainly didn't notice anything wrong with what she said.>>5595437Bingo. Not like she hasn't done this before.
>>5595439how would he not remember, they had a whole moment falling because hyoka didn't have her flying license or something, you are pulling my leg here
>>5595443They had a moment together because the anti-flight enchantment was still engaged even while Toki Toki city itself fell. Was the first time they kissed, odd that Trunks doesn't remember her being there isn't it?
>>5595412>ahead of timeoh man i wonder if the supreme kai of time, the one in charge of the entirety of time, the one with powers relating to time, the one with magic items that can look anywhere in time, the one who remembers everything about the previous timeline, could possibly know such a thing
>>5595464I dunno I think it could have been Grud from accounting. He's shady.
>>5595459.....she died and Pink Bitch pulled a body double out another timeline, scrubbed his memories, then continued on....
>>5595464Crazy that, no way she would know how events would play out.>>5595473Ha.>>5595475Death wouldn’t be a problem, between the Supreme Kai of Time’s magic and the dragon balls no one’s been permanently yeeted yet. I’m just really glad someone remembered that epilogue from around a hundred fortyish episodes ago immediately and recognized what’s happening. Makes me personally glad you remember, and are looking. Maybe you’ll figure out what’s happening before the reveal
>>5595518>because even in xenoverse he fought alongside goku showing up after a bit of timeAnon...
>Hyoka might actually be Trunks's living "Tulpa"This boi cannot catch a break. I almost feel bad for him. Almost.
>>5595705>Boi btfo so hard he made up a girlfriend.........wait a second........Stands are a thing......and some can be visible to other people......
>>5595535I missed the post you’re referencing, but in this reality Ace fought Demigra alongside Future Chaya in the Crack of Time.>>5595705Heh, its a thought.>>5595855If Trunks has a Stand, he’d would see Imagine Dragon, DDF, etc
>>5595867Damn, that's a good point.
>>5595867>I missed the post you’re referencing, but in this reality Ace fought Demigra alongside Future Chaya in the Crack of Time.I was busting his balls for taking long enough in that fight for Goku to show up.
>>5595867Is chrona had a Diavolo, does that mean she has an arrow?
>>5595880I think it was another Towa that brought in Diavolo, not Chronoa.
What do you think Force Over Heaven would do?
24 HOURS UNTIL EPISODE CONTINUES!>>5595875Would have to be extremely convoluted for a Stand user to not see other Stands.>>5595878Ah. To be fair, same happened my first playthrough.>>5595880Wasn’t one of Chronoa’s people. He was on a different team than Mechikabura or SKoT.>>5595895>another TowaMaybe...>>5595896>would do?To...?
>>5595896Force itself over Heaven.>>5595923Ah yes, the most exciting of all 24 hours. I want to continue the festivities but my heart also yearns for ultra murder violence
>>5595938It better hope it doesn’t try anything once Okira’s grown up. Her power stops his dead in its tracks. We’ll see. First, if Mechikabura’s spells actually keep the Time Patrol out or not
>>5596026Not to underestimate Mechi, but rats always find a way to the cheese. At best, they'll crash the party AFTER its over. Those jerks.I wonder how they would feel if WE crashed their parties for a change. Busting through the windows and the roof during Toki-Toki's birthday party or Trunks's wedding or something.
>>5596040If SKoT had a way through his barriers, she would have attacked his base whenever and wherever its hidden already. Or severed it from that timeline and locked it away within a time prison.>I wonder how they would feel if WE crashed their parties for a change.:^)
>>5596047Trunks crashes the party again, but this time he isn’t killed by Karn but by Meloka Wolbach. Karn would shed a tear seeing her grow up so fast to get her first Boi kill.
Rereading the archives for fun and skimming the highlights, I noticed just how inefficient Karn was as a fighter compared to now. Goddamn, he gets knocked the fuck out after almost every fight. But im not gonna lie those zenkais went hard
From #26 during the first encounter with BoiOne hell of a foreshadowing
>>5596095That roll was amazing, btfo
>>5596075Karn was a sledge hammer, now we are a claymore, both sword and explosive.
>>5596051One day. Post Beerus, one day.>>5596068HA!>>5596075He was a brawler, inefficient but powerful. Imagine that Karn seeing Karn now, especially from his last meaningful fights.>>5596095Ha, yes.>>5596109Karn is an icbm, while Meloka’s one of those ninja bombs
>>5596356Honestly, I'd love to see Episode 1 Karn and Current Karn face off.Powerlevels would have to be adjusted and transformations restricted obviously, but even then I imagine it'd still be a massive shitstomp in Papa Karn's favor..
>>5596369I mean, no shit? Current Karn has a swiss army knife of skills that are primed for murderslaughter. Old Karn feels like he could murder you in 500 different ways with his bare hands, current Karn could actually find more than 500 ways to kill you with his bare hands.
>>5596369>a guy who really only brawls and can throw a big blast or two>versus the guy who can kill you in over 400 ways and that's just with his bare hands, etc.Bruh
>>5596386>>5596406I'm not saying it's a question of whether or not Present Karn would absolutely smoke Past Karn, I'm just saying I'd like to see how a fight on "even" terms would go down. I'm sure it would be illuminating for all parties involved.
>>5596409It would go down with present karn beating past karn like a redheaded step child. What you're saying is basically "If we put a professional fight and an average joe from the street in the ring, as long as they're in the same weight class something interesting would happen.". No one would learn anything. Everyone knows current Karn would body previous Karn. It's not just a difference in general skill, either. Present Karn has almost two decades more experience fighting as well. It's just a case of one dude beating the other guy up because he's just a better fighter.Sorry my man.
>>5596356Session 1 Karn Glimpsing Current Session Karn would be a hell of a thing to read.
>>5596356Meloka is a Snuke.
>>5596369Ep 1 Karn wasn’t a GOOD fighter, as he got bodied 1v1 against that Giran looking fighter of approximately equivalent powerlevel. But it would be a trip for Grandpa Karn to see just how far he’s come in the TWENTY TWO YEARS since episode 1.>>5596409Ep1 Karn would see the difference skill and experience makes.>>5596464Yes. He’d be blown away, IF he recognized himself. After all he’s never heard of saiyans changing hair color.>>5596466The hell’s a Snuke?
>>5596578>The hell’s a Snuke?Stealth nuke, I presume.
>>5596587Who knows? Also shout outs to my boy @Vincentgraphart for anime-ifying me with my YGO boss monster. Now I just have to find a quality custom sleeve print place to rock duel nights with the boys.
>>5596578Its a small suitcase nuke up Hillary clinton's snizz. Watch South Park sometime.
>>5595867I guess we never used it on him then.
>>5596578He didn't even know how to punch gooder until eps 8 or 13
>>5596618Hwut? Never saw that one.>>5596741That brings up a good question. Once DDF hits you, you can see it. But for how long after does that effect last?>>5596793Ha.
>>5596924Huh, that is a good question. Can DarkSide still see DDF after getting blasted with it?
>>5596927I think he'd be well aware of our instant death move in CQC, even if somehow he couldn't see it after his avatar got schmucked like that. Either way, we're not getting him with that again.
>>5596928He won't resist getting close to gloat. And we're strong enough to get close anyways. DDF is a hard counter to God Bullshit.
>>5596930True, he is one of those divine beings. I don't know much of Darkseid to gauge his intelligence compared to the average god in this quest (I thought it was pronounced Dark-Seed and not Dark-Side for so long), but I'll still err on the side of caution
>>5596950Oh he is actually brillant, he's just psychotic and cannot resist rubbing it in someones face. He's basically a slightly less rapey Molag Bal.
>>5596927It's a good question. Can he, SKoT, Lobo, etc still see it even after time's passed? Or does DDF lose 'attunement' to their energy over time?>>5596928He saw it when it happened. But if he remote views Karn in the future, would he STILL be able to is the question.>>5596930>He won't resist getting close to gloatHe does have that divine arrogance.>>5596950>>5596973This. In one timeline man had liquid Kryptonite injected into Superman in the S shape in his chest after conquering earth, forcing everyone left to see their hero fallen.
>>5597012Better question is, could he figure out what DDF is and even do something to stop its absolute pointblank annihilation ability?
>>5597012Hey GD, I have a question. We know that Chilli could potentially make a copy of our Greatsword given the right materials, but would he be able to further alter the properties of an item created via Crystal magic?
>>5597016Yes, he absolutely could.>>5597025He could very easily. But he’d never consider he’d need a BROKEN sword.Yes, absolutely. And may have already done so. After all, when have you ever seen Crystal Golems before?
>>5590381Previously on Saiyan Conqueror Quest:At the beginning of the new year, Chilli invited Karn and the rest of his family over for the one year anniversary of his daughter's birth. Which was of course accepted, Karn and the rest of the family eating before heading over. Only, once they arrive and see some of the rather strange guests Chilli'd invited, Karn's own deceased father arrives! Chilli had somehow gotten him an hour of Tatsu being back in the world of the living to meet his great-granddaughter in the flesh. Karn had asked about the Freeza situation, to which Tatsu gave Karn very important advice before his time ran out, returning back to the realm of the dead before. Then the events of the party continued with cake, and then Megumin giving her daughter's party a massive Explosion to celebrate with. But as we rejoin Karn, several unexpected guests have arrived, including the Demon God Mechikabura himself!“Wait. What did you just do?” you ask, feeling your anger bubbling just beneath the surface. While you're more than glad Towa and Chilli's half-siblings, as well as Future Chaya were all able to come, you know what that means. But from how at ease they all are, you wonder what sorts of magics Mechikabura just unleashed.“Simple magic, really. Something your boy will be able to cast within half a century, at most.” he says calmly, the Demon God resting against his cane. “I simply created a space where Chonoa and her annoying Time Patrollers can't enter.”“You WHAT?” you say, jaw dropping as his words stun you. He can DO that? “You...You can really do that?”“Of course. It's a few of the spells I used to keep my hideaway hidden from her prying eyes and ears.” Mechikabura says easily, mischievous glint in his eye. “You didn't think she knew where and when my fortress is, did you?”Well? How do you react to THIS news?>Thank him for taking measures against the Supreme Kai of Time and her Boi, you owe him for this>Ask if this will really protect against them, or if there's still a way for them to crash this party. Suddenly the air around you both goes cold, the Demon God's presence chilling you to your core. But you suppress a shiver, not showing weakness or especially fear to this unbelievably powerful being before you. The dark cloud hangs between you both for several seconds before his dark glare cracks, smirking at your show of strength. “As for why, well, there's a very good reason. Your son hadn't invited me. I only showed up after the battle'd broken out, to bring support to you all.”“Oh...Right...” you say, feeling rather sheepish. “Sorry about that.”“There's nothing to be sorry for, Karn. You are quite passionate about your family's safety.” the Demon God says, his small smile having returned. “I take no offense. After all, you've chosen to fight by my side and presumed I'd let your family be attacked due to negligence. Any soldier would feel the same about their commander recklessly endangering them. But enough of that, let us resume the celebration! Now, where is the birthday girl?”“Taaaa!” your granddaughter calls out, you turning to see Megumin and Chilli walking forward with their daughter. You step back, giving them space as they approach the Demon God. He smiles to them as he begins talking, you stepping towards Towa and your half-demon children. As you approach, Towa reaches out to you telepathically.“What the hell do you think you're doing?!” she thinks to you, her teeth visibly gritted as she stares at you. “Are you TRYING to anger him?”“Just lost my cool there for a bit, thinking he'd been purposefully endangering my family.” you reply to her, hearing the crowd murmuring at this development. You get to within arm's reach, Towa reaching up and wrapping her arms around you to hug you close. “Good to see you. And all of you as well.”“Hey Daddy.” Future Chaya says, standing there conspicuously holding Ace's right hand in her left. “Good to see you.”“Father.” Maza says as his mother lets go, not quite stepping back from you. “Good to see you are well.”cont

You brace yourself, raising your guard as he swings with a heavy right. But as his fist touches, your eyes widen in surprise. Instead of hitting you, his fist goes through your arms. He keeps going, his body passing harmlessly through your own. You turn, panicked, but his body sails harmlessly through that of your children as well.“Wh-What?” he exclaims, planting his feet and sliding to a stop. He kicks off, twisting back around and punching towards you again. But again his fist doesn't affect you, passing through once more and leaving you nearly as shocked as he seems to be. “Hey, what is this? What's going on?”“I told you Karn, there is nothing to worry about.” Mechikabura says smugly. “This space is impenetrable from those outside of your own timeline.”“What?” Trunks exclaims, lowering his sword as his entire body slumps. “That's impossible.”“No, not impossible. Well, for one of your...Limited mental facilities, perhaps it is impossible to comprehend.” the Demon God replies smugly, enjoying showing off his power. “Now run along, back to Chronoa's skirt and leave us adults to our business.”“Tch!” Trunks snarls, again clutching his sword tight. His divine aura blazes up along the length of the weapon, the weapon seeming to be on fire as Trunks grits his teeth. But then he and the rest of the Time Patrol all cock their heads in sync, all hearing something you don't, then Trunks sighs out. “Dammit.”And with another flash of light, they're gone. Disappearing as if they never were.“BAAAAAAHH!!” Meloka Wolbach calls out after them once they've vanished, swinging her arm wildly. Ow!” your alternate timeline daughter shouts, your granddaughter laughing and pulling it again. Her mother coaxes the crimson locks from her hand, letting your daughter go. She holds her own hair, whimpering a bit as Ace pats her gently on the back. Now free, she sticks her tongue out at Meloka Wolbach, who giggles in response. “C'mon, let's go.”“Right.” he replies, chuckling a bit as the two fly up into the air. They seemingly talk for a moment before flying apart, heading out over the blast zone beyond Chilli's home. They both then suddenly power up, Future Chaya's gold and Ace's Blue blaze to life up around them. The ground trembles beneath your feet, pressure weighing down on you from their massive powers. But it seems they're not done yet.“KAIO-KEEEEN!!” they both roar, crimson auras blazing up around their bodies. Chaya's aura turns fully red, while Ace's turns a two-tone red and blue as both their powers explode. You watch as your daughter then throws her arms wide golden energy gathering in both hands while Ace pulls his arms back by his right side, azure energy gathering between his hands.“Everyone, brace yourselves!” you call out, realizing what they're about to do.“FINAL!!” Future Chaya bellows, throwing both hands forward as she combines the energies gathered in each.“KAAAA! MEEEE!” Ace roars, both of their powers blazing bright between their hands, gold and blue. “HAAAAA! MEEEEEE!!”“FLAAAAASH!!!” Future Chaya bellows, unleashing her titanic golden beam.“HAAAAAAAAAA!!” Ace roars, firing his azure wave of destruction. Both energies explode forth, crashing into each other with tremendous force. Shock waves explode from the point of impact, slamming into you all on the ground. Several Crimson Demons shout in shock or fear as they're knocked over, the ground crunching a bit beneath your feet as you withstand the shock. The two push back and forth against each other, vying for dominance. But over the sounds of surprise, you hear one voice cheering it on.“AAAAAAAAH WAAAAAAAAAH!!” Meloka Wolbach bellows, waving her arms as she watches.cont
>>5597532You all watch the two strongest fighters you know push back and forth against each other, each one pushing for advantage against each other. Then as one both immediately stop pushing, instead cooperating to throw up a Super Barrier around their clashing energies, which then explode. Their combined Barrier protects everyone from the explosion, the world-breaking explosion contained by their might. You all watch as the fiery explosion slowly dies down, then as it ends they end the shield as well. Both power down, Ace using Instant Transmission to teleport them both back over to your granddaughter.“How'd you like it?” Future Chaya asks, your granddaughter clapping clumsily as she giggles. Which makes your alternate timeline daughter smile, dropping her guard enough for Meloka Wolbach to strike. Reaching up, she once again snatches her hair hanging down, jerking it towards her. “Gaaah!? Dammit!”Your granddaughter giggles at her alternate timeline aunt, Ace even laughing a bit as she struggles to gently pry her hands off her hair.“OW! Once I could forgive, but twice is on purpose!” Future Chaya pouts once she gets free, trying her best to scowl at her niece. But Meloka Wolbach just giggles, clapping her hands again. To which your alternate timeline daughter can't stay angry, smiling back at her after a moment regardless.“Alright, who's next?” Chilli asks. Others step forward, showing off their powers. Yunyun and Kazuma combine their Light of Saber spells to form an 'X' in the air of crackling energy, before he somehow FREEZES the crossed lightning. The magic hangs suspended in the air a moment before falling to the earth, shattering. Kazuma then hams it up, bowing several times to the polite applause from the Crimson Demons. Then Aqua steps up, using something she calls her “Party Trick” magic. You aren't sure how its supposed to be effective, yet her water tricks, creating flowers, etc all seem to impress her. Others step forward and show off their powers, making displays of their abilities but most don't have the same sort of impact as the first few. Until Meloka steps forward, her long, golden hair flowing down her back as she stretches her arms out one at a time.“Looks like it's my turn.” your wife replies, then cracking her knuckles. “I think its time everyone here sees exactly what I can do. Your grandmother and I are gonna show you something special.”“Aaaaaaah! AAAAAhh!” she exclaims happily, smile wide on her face. You then crouch, kicking up into the air directly above everyone. Then, alone in the airspace, you clench your fists and power up.“HAAAAAAAAA!!” you roar, Ascending into your strongest Berserker form and letting your emerald aura blaze wildly around you. Pumping your power up to the max, you then cross your arms, drawing it in. You compress your aura, tightening it around your body into an indestructible suit of armor. More and more you pull your aura in, tightening it into a several-inches thick suit of armor around you so thick that you can't even move. Once your Unmovable Energy Body is active, you then think down to your wife. “I'm ready.”“Don't let it go hun, I'm going all out.” she replies with a thought, you feeling her power surge. Looking down, you see that she's gathered a pair of energy orbs each as large as she is tall, launching both into the air in rapid succession. Both fly up towards you, shattering into twin Scattershots that swiftly surround you. The hundreds of orbs all hover around you, but then you see Meloka raise a single finger towards you. She fires a single Death Beam at the lowest orb closest to her, it striking and splitting upon impact. The beams move to other nearby orbs, striking and splitting further. Within a second from the first impact, her beams have hit every single Scattershot orb, completely entrapping you within her maze of lasers. She then ends her Death Beam, swinging her arms inward and causing all of the orbs to move. You feel the Death Beam lasers slashing across your Energy Body, her energy cutting into your own. But your Unmovable Energy Body lives up to its name, her energy not hurting you as they carve thousands of tracks across your shield in a second. If you'd lowered your shield, even for a moment, you'd have been cut to ribbons. But it seems she's not done yet, you look back and forth to realize that her beams are now somehow wrapped around your shield, slowly cutting into your Energy Body deeper and deeper while keeping you pinned! You have to keep exerting power, pouring more into your shield to reinforce where it is slowly being burned away.cont
>>5597700Your wife then draws out even more power, firing a massive orb overhead. It flies past you and her Hellzone Prison, stopping in the air over you. No doubt to drop her Final Judgement attack down onto you when the time's right. But she's not firing it yet, instead showing just how much control over her energy she has. You watch as she creates two more orbs, each one larger than herself before firing them up towards your sides. Yet they feel wrong, the two not solid masses of energy but instead layers upon layers of ki. Before you can figure it out, she then clenches her fists, swinging them across her body. And the center line of each orb fires out from the center, firing a spinning blade of cutting energy. Immediately you focus, funneling even more ki into your Unmovable Energy Body as the lethal cutting discs approach. The twin discs fly forth, slamming into your Energy Body on either side. And with their spinning, cutting edges, they cut even deeper into your energy than her beams did before the two discs shatter under the pressure. Then more and more discs fire out from the two orbs, some striking dead on, grinding into your energy for a moment before shattering while others graze your ki, cutting deep lines all the way across your energy. This attack is quite devastating, combined especially with her Hellzone Prison locking you in place and keeping you from dodging were you able to move. But as her attack continues, you see that the discs that didn't shatter start circling back, cutting back and forth several times before they've all shattered or simply run out of energy and faded away.“Damn, she's taking this pretty seriously.” you think, again channeling even more of your lagging ki into your armor while your wife AGAIN charges up, taking the familiar Final Flash pose. But you recognize the difference in her energy immediately, knowing what's about to happen.“BLADESTORM!!” Meloka roars, unleashing her devastating attack. Thousands of Ki Needles fly up from her hands in a narrow cone, hundreds striking you a second. When a dozen or more stick into your Energy Body they explode, carving chunks out of your energy with each blast. Forcing you to throw everything you've got into preserving your Unmovable Energy Body, lest you want the blasts to start hitting directly. You continuously pour your full energy into the shielding technique, barely able to replace what's blasted away at the speed it's being carved away, but then you feel it. A massive force slams into your back, driving you straight down into your wife's storm of explosive needles.cont
>>5597702The sudden push from behind driving you down into her attack causes the speed of attacks hitting you to increase exponentially by the second. The speed of explosions doubles, her attack beginning to cut through your Energy Body faster than you can replenish it! >>5597753Well la di fricken da right? How is she supposed to know when she's trying to kill us or not when she almost does it every time she asks us to help her show off or try something new? It's almost like a pattern. Even birds recognize patterns man. She's a damn murderous psychopath you ain't foolin' me with your cover story, man. Not today man.Really I'm just so tired of her blindsiding us with shit. Like for fuck's sake she couldn't even give us the outline of what she wanted to do. The bare minimum of safety guidelines. The literal LEAST thing you can do.
>>5597752>>5597753Well, we should probably share this sentiment after the festivities are over. Not get mad at her or nothing, but point out how reckless that really was.In my opinion, power and skillset wise, Karn and Meloka are equals, but do they see eachother that way? Karn deliberately holds back his full kit from Meloka in a fight, while Meloka fights with far less restrictions. I feel like there's something there that can be worked upon.
>>5597753>But Meloka never saw this technique fail, which is why she asked you to use it over your Barrier.Be that as it may, she understands how the technique works, right? Please tell me she does.
>>5597762Oh no I'm getting mad you can't stop me
>>5597759>>5597767>>5597764I guess its down to the overestimation of Karn's ability, again. Maybe even the underestimation of Meloka's own abilities on her part too.
>>5597792>Maybe even the underestimation of Meloka's own abilities on her part too.NOW you're catching on
>>5597703You're burning power, using far more than you'd thought you would just sitting and absorbing her techniques with your Unmovable Energy Body. But like King Cold's saber, her attacks all have cut through your shield far more than you'd thought they would. You've been bleeding energy, burning through it to keep your hide intact. You'd been trying to ration your energy, saving enough for the Event Horizon your son'd asked you for. But at this rate, if you don't increase your output right now, you might not GET a later. It's all or nothing!“HRRRRAAAAAAAA!!” you roar through gritted teeth, unleashing everything you've got. Your emerald power surges up from deep within your core, filling in the gaps her explosions have cut through your shielding ki. Her Final Judgement beam is sending you straight down towards her faster and faster, as the gap closes more and more of her Ki Needles find their mark in your armor before detonating. You can no longer see through the constant explosions before you, you shutting your eyes and focusing only on keeping your Unmovable Energy Body intact and feeding everything you've got into the shield. Your power drops by the second as explosions feed into other explosions, the sound droning and turning into a high-pitched ringing in your ears. Then, all of a sudden the explosions just STOP, you opening your eyes to see your wife's face only a few dozen feet from your own. She looks a bit worried, raising both arms and suddenly the force pushing you from behind simply stops as well. But your momentum keeps you going, plummeting down straight towards her. You're about to disengage your Energy Body to fly out of the way, when she winks. And a dozen or so of her Warding Eyes suddenly fly into your field of view, swinging into your energy and pushing you out from between her and her beam. As you're moved out of the way you see her planting her feet, raising both arms as if she plans on catching her titanic beam by herself. And catch it she does, but that's not all. To your shock, as the beam strikes your wife's hands, she's somehow ABSORBING the power of her attack back into herself! You feel her energy refilling from the mass of ki, her power shooting back up as her Warding Eyes set you down just outside of the attack's immediate range should her absorption somehow fail.“Woah.” you mutter, watching as Meloka converts her rapidly-dwindling beam back into energy inside her, then once it's done she staggers a step, sighing out as her shoulders slump. She actually did it, somehow she re-absorbed her own destructive energy back into herself. You'd thought such a thing impossible, but there your wife is. Who sighs out, maybe in relief before turning to you, rushing over with a worried look on her face.cont
>>5597819“Are you okay?” she asks, her face a mix of worry, fear, and a little guilt as she looks you over. Powering down your technique you sigh out as well, feeling your flagging power almost sigh out too. Defending against such a hellstorm of devastating attacks took its toll on your energy, which is very slowly recovering as you lay there, resting atop her floating orbs holding you in the air. “Karn?”Well?>It was reckless, but throwing stones at someone over reckless behavior would bury you in an avalanche. Tell her you're fine, but then lightheartedly add that if there's a next time to tell you if she plans on trying to murder you again >Frown and tell her what she did was reckless, she nearly killed you with that stunt before turning back to your granddaughter with a smile on your face. >>5597824>It was reckless, but throwing stones at someone over reckless behavior would bury you in an avalanche. Tell her you're fine, but then lightheartedly add that if there's a next time to tell you if she plans on trying to murder you again Come on, Karn of all people should know what reckless behavior feels like.
Wait, Ainz saw us tank this shitstorm right? What's he thinking from this?

>>5597802Didn't think I was actually anywhere near the money. Thought I was about to go off about nonsense.I do think the team in general, not just Meloka, need their own big Ws. We have the power disparity mostly under control compared to canon Z-Fighters, we just need the team to believe in themselves and not just Karn.
>>5597842>Bitch says what?
>>5597842It's great because I think on raw HP and ailment resistances Karn could power through a lot of Ainz' normal spells. Keeping in mind that most of Ainz' standard spells are pretty shit and RP themed if not for his secret class of course.I wonder if Ainz can see that Karn already had his heart crushed once before. That'd be an interesting thing to learn about the guy standing in front of you.
>>5597841We may see in the epilogue, unless I change my mind to another character.>>5597842Heh.>>5597860No that's rather on point. Imagine comparing yourself to Karn, especially as his power's grown over two decades.>>5597876Most of his spells wouldn't stop Karn, but with his Overlord and Eclipse spells he could defeat Karn. Given Karn didn't somehow kill him before The Goal of All Life is Death activated.
>>5597876That'd be a fun conversation>"Don't take this the wrong way, but I have a way with viewing organs, and can't help but notice your heart was crushed before. >>5597878Ainz could win. Could. And unlike Karn he has fuck all combat experience against an opponent like Karn to last long enough to get his hands on Ainz skull. But a better question is what are his goon squad thinking about us just fucking erasing a chunk of the planet for a birthday party?

>>5597824With your heart still pumping, you want to be angry and lash out. But while it WAS reckless of her, throwing metaphorical stones at her over it would bury you in an avalanche. So you simply sigh out again, trying to reach up to her, but after a second your arms falls back limp. Seems you don't even have the strength for that left in you.“I-I'm fine.” you manage to get out, then crack a small smile before adding. “If there's a next time. If you have plans on trying to murder me again, let me know. You almost got me.”“A-!” she starts, your wife's eyes widening and jaw dropping a bit as she realizes the shape you're in. Sure you didn't take any physical damage from the attack, but you're done. You have nothing left in the tank, hell you can barely even move.“Who'd you design that attack for, Lord Freeza?” you ask her, keeping your lighthearted tone as her expression darkens a bit, placing her palm to your chest. You feel her energy begin coursing into your, revitalizing your exhausted frame.“Or someone as strong as him.” she replies quietly, voice low as you hear the serious tone. “If someone wanted to take you away from me, away from US, I wanted to be prepared.”“Doesn't matter how strong they are, you hit them with that display and it'd only be a matter of time.” you reply as the aching sensation in your limbs fade, Meloka pulling her arm from your chest and offering it to you. Which you take, letting her pull you up and off of her Warding Eyes up to your feet. Where you see her looking sheepishly away from you, catching your eye. “What is it Mel?”“I... I wasn't TRYING to kill you.” she says, sounding almost embarrassed before adding telepathically. “I had to stop it there because I felt your energy plummeting. I didn't even get to the new techniques yet.”Which leaves you stunned, you staring at your wife with your jaw hanging. However, before you can say anything Chilli again speaks up, this time to the bone man Ainz.“I believe it's your turn, Lord Ainz.” Chilli calls out. “Are you ready?”“After such a display, I do believe even my best magics will pale in comparison.” he says, stepping forward to your son and his family. “But I have one technique I believe she'll enjoy. Tell me, you like your mother's Explosion spell, yes?”“Baaaah! BAAAAAA BAAAAAA!!” she shouts excitedly, no doubt understanding the word 'explosion'. To which Ainz chuckles, reaching out and patting her on the head.“Very well. Then I, Ainz Ooal Gown, shall show you my greatest blast!” he declares, turning and walking to the edge of the mountain away from everyone else. And creates a massive amount of magical circles around himself.cont
>>5597985https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOGDVfrrqMM&ab_channel=Vetboss-TopicAll the Crimson Demons shout in surprise, this time the so-called Sorcerer King is enveloped by even more circles than before. He raises both hands over his head, the circles spinning and rotating around him as he prepares whatever magic he has in store. More and more circles appear around him, creating a column of sigils stacked above himself as he focuses his power.“Lord Ainz, Lord Ainz, isn't this too close for this spell?” the tiny, pale one in the dress says, a noticeable look of fear in her eyes. “Shouldn't you be further away?”“Nonsense, Shalltear. Just because I used it at close range before doesn't mean that it's limited to only the range you've seen. In fact, this spell has a rather long range.” he says, then looks over his shoulder to Mechikabura. “Tell me, how far out does your spells' influence go? I wouldn't want to accidentally strike it with my Super Tier Magic.”“Worry not, my shield is far stronger than this level of magic.” the old Demon God replies with a smile. “Anywhere down there in the blast zone is more than fine and still within my spells' range.”“Very well. Now, Meloka Wolback, daughter of Lord Chilli son of Karn and Explosion Archwizard Megumin, behold!” Ainz bellows, all his circles glowing brighter. “Super Tier Magic: Fallen Down!!”A massive pillar of azure light appears, blasting the magic-scarred lands below. His attack reminds you of a color-swapped Covenant Glassing Cannon laser blast, it burning bright enough to force you to shield your eyes. But as you turn your head away, wincing, you see your granddaughter's eyes blazing crimson as she watches, completely unaffected by the brightness. The beam of destruction lasts for maybe a dozen seconds before it begins fading away, you turning as the light fully fades to see the aftermath. And hoo boy, were you underestimating the bone man's power. His blast looks like the aftermath of your Red Dawn blast back on Raxus Prime against all the Lobo, the ENTIRE magic-scarred plain is now a gently-sloping, lifeless crater where not even a single blade of grass survived. Immediately the skeleton's threat level jumps drastically in your mind, if he ever starts casting were the two of you to come to blows, you'd have to kill him. Immediately.“OOOOOOOOoooooh! Wooooooooooooaaaaaa!!” Meloka Wolbach shouts, eyes wide and shimmering crimson as she raises both hands. “Baaaaaa baaaaaaaa baaaaaaaaaah!!”“Hmm hmmm hrmm, I'll take that to mean you enjoyed my spell.” Ainz says, cheery tone to his voice at odds with his visage. “I'll take it as honest praise.”Which leaves only you.cont
>>5597986Your power has recovered a bit, thanks to Meloka adding her might to your own. >>5597988But while your own energy is lacking, it doesn't mean that you are reliant on only your own might. You turn towards your future daughter, who is still staring at the skeletal mage with her jaw dropped slightly.“You okay kiddo?” you ask her, laying a hand on her shoulder. She jumps a bit at the touch, shaking off her shock as she refocuses.“Yeah. Just, wasn't expecting him to have that much power.” she replies, turning her gaze from him to you with a hint of concern in her eyes. “But are you okay? If I didn't know better, I'd have thought Momma was tryin' to kill you.”“I'm fine, but my power's drained.” you tell her, chuckling a bit. “Mind giving your old man a bit so he can put on a show?”“Of course.” she replies, reaching up and placing one hand on your chest. Her power floods into you like a tsunami, forcing you to actively keep your aura down to avoid blowing everyone away with the sudden surge of might. “Just say when, I've got plenty to spare.”“That should be fine. I just have one attack to fire off.” you tell her, Future Chaya pouring a bit more energy into you before lowering her hand. “Appreciate it kiddo.”“Of course.” she replies happily. But Ace isn't looking towards you all, instead down the mountain. Not towards the Crimson Demon Village behind you all, or towards the crater below but towards the other side. Following his gaze, you see a familiar form standing nearby, looking at the now faintly-visible barrier's outline. Or, rather, two familiar forms. And immediately feel your blood beginning to boil. “Daddy? Ace? What're you two.... Oh HELL no!”“Worry not, they can't get in.” Mechikabura says smugly, walking over to the three of you and looking down at the Supreme Kai of Time and Trunks's forms, slightly obscured by something you assume to be his barrier's boundary. “This bit of spellcraft is far beyond what she's capable of countering.”“I hope so, it's worked so far.” you say, feeling a small worry in your guts. But you push it down, just a bit longer before the party's over and everyone can go home, leaving no reason for the Time Patrol to bother your son and his family.“Now, we're to the last gift.” Chilli says as you move towards him, your son turning to face you. “Are you ready, Dad?”You can feel the weight behind his question, your son no doubt having sensed your power lagging after surviving your wife's barrage. But you walk forward confidently, kneeling beside Megumin holding Meloka Wolbach and taking her tiny hands in yours.“You ready to see what your Grandpa can do?” you ask her, your granddaughter's eyes lighting up and blazing crimson in excitement.cont
>>5598087“Well, that's as good an answer as any.” you think to yourself, letting your granddaughter go and step forward to the same spot Ainz had cast his spell from. But then you have an idea, and leap down. Flying down to the massive crater his blast had made, you gently touch down roughly in the center of it, and once more focus your power after planting your feet. Your emerald aura blazes to life around you, you powering back up to a hundred percent. Time to wrap this party up with a bang.“HAAAAAA!!” you roar, throwing your arms wide as you gather your power. Energy forms into two rapidly-expanding orbs from each palm, the two growing larger than yourself after a few seconds. The energy carves into the ground to your sides, but you pay that little mind. As long as nothing attacks you here to detonate them, nothing could go wrong. It takes you maybe a half-dozen seconds to gather enough power, each orb now twice as big around as your height before you swing them up overhead. You slam the two into each other, pressing their energies together and forcing them to merge. The opposite forces repel, threatening to go out of control for a second or two but you easily control both of them. Forcing them to merge, you feel their combined power growing by several orders of magnitude. And the tiny space you'd confined them to cannot hold them.“HRRAAAAA!!” you bellow, letting your power expand into an absolutely massive blast. The swirling energies you're holding aloft has its own pull, you seeing small chunks of the ground and dust getting pulled up into the massive attack. But it's still not large enough, you feeding even MORE power into your destructive orb. It grows to a mass far larger than your ship until you've covered the entire area of the crater beneath your orb's mass. Faintly you hear people from the party, but you pay them no mind. Focused on making the blast something your granddaughter will remember forever, you then brace yourself, readying yourself to throw. “GRRRAAAAAAAAA!!”And with a mighty roar, launch the attack straight up into the air. It moves deceptively, at first not looking as if its moving much at all but covering a huge distance each second. Within twelve seconds its already flown up from the crater where you launched it up over the peaks of Chilli's crystal tower home, and picking up speed. You carefully judge its distance based off of everyone's ki you can sense, feeling your attack picking up more speed as it starts moving into less and less dense atmosphere. “Is she still watching?” you think to Chilli, who responds immediately.“Everyone is. Even those Time Patrol bastards.” he replies, your smirk growing.“Alright. Brace yourself.” you tell him, then end the link as you clench your fist, detonating the massive orb.cont
>>5598088Your Event Horizon, nearly out of this planet's space, now glows blindingly bright for a moment before it finally explodes. The giant orb's detonation is the largest you've ever made, the ensuing blast seemingly large enough to envelop the entire Lucrehulk. It even surprises you how massive the explosion is, the daytime sky overhead glowing as if on fire. It takes a few more seconds for the shock wave to hit, the already blasted ground around you shattering under the force of the blast. And knocking you to a knee, your energy completely drained.“I hope she liked it.” you think to yourself, trying to push yourself up but lacking the power. So, instead, you tap into the Soulstone in your boot, drawing its power into you. As you do, however, you realize that you can't feel the full power of the rest of the stone, no doubt Mechikabura's work to cut this place off also cuts you off from reaching outside of it. But as you're drawing the stone's power into yourself, refreshing your body and bringing your strength back, suddenly you feel the rest of the stone seemingly 'connect' with the piece you have. For a moment you don't question it, feeling thankful for the expanded energy pool to draw from, but then the bottom of your stomach falls out. If YOU can reach beyond the barrier, then that can only mean-!“SHIT!” you shout, kicking off the ground and exploding back towards the mountain peak, still drawing in power from the full Soulstone as, sure enough, Towa's seal on the back of your hand feels like it ignites. Those damned Time Patrol bastards, they're going to get it this time! Not a single one of them is getting away alive! >>5598770Damn she really does not fucking care for him at all does sheI do have to wonder though, for what purpose is Chronoa's ultimately futile attempt at stabilizing timelines into 1 lane? It's like an apple tree, you can control where it's planted, sure, but you cant control the ripening of its fruit. Time is a flowing river branching out into infinite possibilities, both good and bad. Babies are born, some are not, wars are fought or peace is made, one person may die in one timeline while they live in another, worlds and galaxies are made, incomprehensibly distinct from one timeline to another. And yet Chronoa tries to wrangle a horse into drinking from a single lake, where its "supposed" to be. According to her (rather asinine) judgement, we aren't "supposed to be here right now, no saiyan is". I get trying to punish others for manipulating the flow of time for their own ends like Mechikabura who tried to anihilate reality or something, but I think she's tackling her job as a whole in the wrong direction.I know its her job, but does she even like "Time"? Her insistence on controlling it makes me believe otherwise. but the real big bad is whichever moron decided to leave a single person in charge of ALL OF TIME. The lesser deities work as a team to enforce their own singular universe, or galaxy, or PLANET, even the god of all 12 Dragonball universes has an assistant, who the fuck is in charge of task management?!

>>5599237Oh yeah, it must be surreal for the Isekai protags to watch Karn absolutely smoke an icon like Future Trunks.
>>5599259He wasn't there to witness the hate crime we committed. Now its a love crime.
>>5599322How can it be a hate crime if Karn loved doing it?
>>5599226>>5599232>>5599233Well then, I believe I’ll start my plans. Epilogue this time’ll be a bit on the shorter side, but we’ll hit another pov of what’s about to go down.>>5599237>Karn makes everyone feel like bad childrenHa. But also yes, for the most part. Watching someone like Karn angry does have a way of making others feel, well, less angry than they were by comparison.>>5599259Less so for Ainz than someone like Kazuma or Tanya, as Momonga’s timeline was further in the dystopian future than the 20 teens.>>5599342Because everyone else can clearly see it was one. Even those on your own side.
>>5599451>ainz is from the timeline where GT succeededOh no.
>>5599452It could be worse. He could be from the timeline where Evolution got a trilogy.
>>5599464Imagine if the Time Patrol brings in Uncanny Valley Live Action Super Saiyan Goku as a distraction to cover healing BOI's spine after his latest beating.
As March inches ever closer to April, I wonder what kind of April Fools intermission we'll get, assuming thats happening. I've only kept track of a few tossed around in the archives like Fem!Karn, The Timebreaker Rolf Mission, Karn turning into a Magical Girl after a Time Patroller hits him with a clothes beam to negate his nudity bonus, The Council of Karn, Crisis of Infinite Melokas, general interactions between SCQ's cast and the canon crew, and so on. Personally I'd like to see "Trunks fights Karn and Wins, or, The Jobber Fodder that Could" written, sponsored, and dreamt up by Trunks Briefs of the Time Patrol.
>>5599741So boy dares to dream he could win. Unacceptable.
>>5599803Say what you will about Trunks, but he's a determined some of a bitch. If he truly didn't think he had a shot at taking Karn down, he'd have retired years ago.
>>5599813Determination needs to be considered terminal brain damage after a certain point. No he wouldn't. Pink Bitch chose a dog, and dogs are to dumb to not do dog things. IE, Trunks.
>>5599824She chose a kid who wanted to do something (anything) to help the people around him and didn't know any better at the time. For as frustrated as I am with Trunks' behavior, I can understand that he's just misguided, not evil.Whether or not he can still pull himself out of Chronoa's carefully designed narrative remains to be seen, but I'll admit it's not looking good.
>>5599837Misguided is training with his dad for a year. Being manipulated by Pink Bitch in spite of his lying eyes is stupidity.
>>5599848The worst part of it all is that he is actually asking all the right questions, but he's immediately satisfied with whatever easy answer Chronoa throws at him.If we get a chance to go 1-on-1 with Trunks, I'd love to pick apart his reasons for being here in the first place. Though I'm worried that Chronoa would end up erasing his memories if he comes to any sudden realization after speaking with Karn.
>>5599852We've done this, several times in fact, he just will not get over his retarded killing bad unless his friends do it mentality, or get over us working for Freeza. So no matter how many times he shows up, sees us being happy family time, it will not get through to him until Chrono quits the surface level pretending.
>>5599452Ha! But no, if I remember right hes from the 2100s.>>5599454His timeline IS shit enough for something like that to have happened.>>5599741I’ll just say that I’ve got something good planned out for the first. However, should I change the episode that day to an april fools day joke? Or nah?>>5599813He doesn’t stop, even when he should.>>5599837>Whether or not he can still pull himself out of Chronoa's carefully designed narrative remains to be seenThat’s the real question, isn’t it?>>5599852And this is why critical thinking is important. Despite how shit Trunks’ timeline was, it wasn’t “hard” morally. You had good guys and bad guys, the end. He would never consider himself to be the “bad guy”, because he’s doing what he’s always done.>>5599858Exactly. Murder bad, Freeza bad, therefore Karn bad. Kai are good guys, fighting against bad guys using ‘dark’ powers(as his boss told him) so he’s fighting for good. He’s never HAD to consider his morality in his choices in his entire life
>>5599871>However, should I change the episode that day to an april fools day joke? Or nah?Nah, April's Fools works best as an additional interlude/epilogue
>>5599871Nothing is scary than the destruction an idiot can cause with a clean conscience.
>>5599871Is Trunks aware of our timeline's Frieza and his growth as a person? He's still a murderer and a dictator, but he actually feels remorse and shit now.
>>5599911Digits of Awakening. But no, Trunks thinks if Goku can't humble Freeza, nobody could. Going as far as ignoring the fact he offered his head as penance. Something his Frieza's would never consider for any reason.
>>5599941>Digits of AwakeningChronoa did 9/11.
>>5599961She did though
>>5599894Sometimes. The Saitama “encounter” was fun.>>5599906Not many things are>>5599911Yes he’s aware, but no. Freeza is freeza, even Super Freeza helped goku when it served him.>>5599941Trunks judges based pff of someone’s past. Freeza bad, therefore freeza always bad.>>5599961Did? No. But she didn’t STOP it from happening
With all the ridonculus bullshit that ramps up whenever the Toilet Pootrol show up, I wonder if a more diplomatic, subtle, and de-escalative approach would work for them, especially in relation to Karn and his deal. They're basically cops, but their duties extend to all of time instead of an American shithole. If they communicated or worked with more often with residents of a timeline instead of starting a fucking brawl wherever they please (never ceases to disappoint me that they never take their shit somewhere else) I think they'd be a lot more successful. A timeline is already fucked by virtue of them being there to stop other time travelers, they may as well admit that and just go recruiting for their cause in order to stop super evil fucks like Demigra from yeeting all of reality or whatever the fuck. I don't think it's even particularly hard to convince someone like Karn to join the Time Patrol as atleast a freelance agent if you treat him as a regular guy with respect and not some future deskjockey to yell at. One favor and he was completely sold with Towa's offer ffs. Just trying to say, they're as subtle as a sledgehammer with the persuasive graces of a pitbull. Just having undercover agents that don't start humongous fights and can fit in and spy on timelines without detection or turbofucking them, or even having recruiters sent to particularly fucked timelines like Karn's would make their jobs so much easier I bet. I think ONE levelheaded conversation with the big green angry man could've prevented DECADES of Time Patroller hatred and the headache Chronoa has on her hands. Thats a fun thought experiment, actually. How would one be able to convince current Karn to atleast not be apeshit pissed at the Time Patrol anymore? He doesn't have to like them, and joining is CERTAINLY off the table, but any result that gets him to stop mauling them counts as a win.
>>5600296You are just making Demigra or Chilli's future job simpler.>How would one be able to convince current Karn to atleast not be apeshit pissed at the Time Patrol anymore? He doesn't have to like them, and joining is CERTAINLY off the table, but any result that gets him to stop mauling them counts as a win.We will stay off your lawn and not try to kill your friends and family. But we need this guy to die at this time in this way, or shit will go south for your time. If it was said by Boi, after Pinky's death obviously and he somehow survives, then maybe. But they fucked up willingly to many times otherwise.
>>5600296>instead of starting a fucking brawl wherever they please (never ceases to disappoint me that they never take their shit somewhere else)They can't. Chronoa throws up a temporal barrier(the rainbow stuff you see when reaching edges of maps in XV) the moment timelines START changing to localize the damage at worst. And not necessarily. When the Time Patrol put events back on the proper track, the timeline slowly shifts back to the way it was SUPPOSED to be before the changes happened. Eventually, the interference is removed from that timeline entirely.>I don't think it's even particularly hard to convince someone like Karn to join the Time Patrol as atleast a freelance agent if you treat him as a regular guy with respectIt wouldn't have been, had Trunks not tried to MURDER the person willing to save his dying then-friend with benefits Meloka the first time they met. And the SECOND time they met.>Thats a fun thought experiment, actually. How would one be able to convince current Karn to atleast not be apeshit pissed at the Time Patrol anymore?THEY would have to try and make amends to him for trying to murder his family on several occasions.>>5600302>Demigra of ChilliNot Fu? Or Dumplin? If and/or when Chronoa bites it, there may be a fight to take her mantle from Trunks.
>>5600313At a certain point, I wonder if Trunks will just give up before he gets his shit pushed in. But I know he's to dumb to quit while he's ahead
>>5600313>Chronoa throws up a temporal barrier(the rainbow stuff you see when reaching edges of maps in XV) the moment timelines START changing to localize the damage at worst>When the Time Patrol put events back on the proper track, the timeline slowly shifts back to the way it was SUPPOSED to be before the changes happened. Eventually, the interference is removed from that timeline entirely. So THAT'S how it works. I see. Still a complete shitshow though, just with slightly less destructive implications.>It wouldn't have been, had Trunks not tried to MURDER the person willing to save his dying then-friend with benefits Meloka the first time they met. And the SECOND time they met.Damn. No matter how you slice it or dice it, I CANNOT see how The Boi could possibly explain himself in a way that makes him look good. Like, what would he do if a hero of time told him that Hyoka had to die and stay dead, no rezz, of her injuries in order to protect the timelines and "muh greater good!"?>THEY would have to try and make amends to him for trying to murder his family on several occasions.pic very related
>>5600349The day he quits rushing headlong into danger on her orders is the day Chronoa will reconsider Trunks as her apprentice. But someone else CLEARLY wants a piece of Karn before Trunks can fight.>>5600372Yes. Over time, temporal shifts return to how they were supposed to go if corrected before the changes can “set in”, almost like working with asphalt or cement.Trunks would be conflicted, if HE and the Time Patrol weren’t the ones doing that. If Chronoa appeared and told him she had to go, he’d believe her but be devastated. Maybe broken enough to reconsider things.Right? If you’re the “GOOD GUYS doing the RIGHT THING” (TM), then apologizing to those you wrong isn’t conceptually possible.
>>5600389>But someone else CLEARLY wants a piece of Karn before Trunks can fight.Well thankfully, though it may be a Goku, it's probably the most ill-equipped Goku that could have shown up. I can't wait for their collective morale to plummet when we kick a hole in his chest.
>>5600428>Oh look, God Ki -FUCK OUTTA HERE
>>5600469I can't wait to recreate pic related
>>5600389>Over time, temporal shifts return to how they were supposed to go if corrected before the changes can “set in”, almost like working with asphalt or cement. So they just have to make sure to fix it before that stain on a timeline dries, so to speak. Makes slightly more sense how they could be "too late" despite being time travelers. >If Chronoa appeared and told him she had to go, he’d believe her but be devastated. Maybe broken enough to reconsider things.Trunks you CANNOT be this much of a cuck>Right? If you’re the “GOOD GUYS doing the RIGHT THING” (TM), then apologizing to those you wrong isn’t conceptually possible.I just have to wonder how many Time Patrollers there were that had the thought that their organization isn't all that it's cracked up to be. How many got put in the brain scrubbing machine or got outright decommissioned for realizing picrel?
>>5600428Super Goku is a lot of things, but a bad fighter isn’t one of them. You’d better be ready for a war, because he is.>>5600469Ha>>5600476Wouldn’t recommend, even with Supervillain you’re weaker than he is at Blue.>>5600638Yes. Time’s nonsense, but it does have fairly consistent rules.>Trunks you CANNOTAre you sure about that?More than one. And who knows? They certainly wouldn’t remember
>>5600260>Sometimes. The Saitama “encounter” was fun.Man, thank you for reminding me. It really was.
>>5600679Ah, about that Supervillain shit, how does it work? Is it a flat boost or does it "adjust" its output to be within the ballpark of a foreign timeline enemy but not pour so much power in to kill the user? I know that Meloka once popped Supervillain against an enemy Towa and still realized she would get BTFO no contest. Either way, I want to be able to drop it entirely and rely on our own strength when dealing with the Temporal Riot Police. Time bitch is SOOOOO lucky we're capped out until Beerus rears his naked cat head. It's been 35 episodes since the last humongous Time Patrol shitshow, and I'm a little disappointed we dont have a new, powerful and RELIABLE transformation to make the more weaker willed intruders shit their pants.
>>5600679Yeah but super goku would also at least give us a senzu bean to restore our energy because he wants to fight us at our best.
>>5600748That would be really fucking funny, and not entirely a nonzero possibility one day>Karn, in character as usual, tears The Boi a second vagina again and uses about 5 other time travel tards as chew toys>Goku finally has the breathing room to take care of him, starts kicking Karn's ass after the guy went on a full power murder spree>Karn calls Goku out for waiting until he was tired to fight him>Goku's last 2 braincells rub together, realizes that the fight is no fun when Karn is running on fumes>Gives him a bean>Everyone's face when Goku did a Goku when he had it in the bag >Everyone's face when Goku has no faceSometimes too much of a good thing is a bad thing.
>>5600679>even with Supervillain you’re weaker than he is at Blue.N-nani!?
>>5600800Remember, we still only have Ascended 'zerker. We aren't quite up to the level of SS4 or SSG
>>5600748>>5600773Super Goku only gave Moron (forma de Cell) Senzu because he had a point to prove with UI, that he could style on him even at max power, and pink bitch has likely told him we are as bad as Double Zamasu. We need more of a plan if we actually want to beat him 1v1
>>5600948>We need more of a plan if we actually want to beat him 1v1Who says it has to be a 1v1? We're not friends, nor are we using this as an opportunity to train, so there's no expectation of fairness.Granted, our allies might be tied up at the moment, but I feel like whoever is fighting Meloka in particular won't last long.Once she's done, she can pop on over and we can run Goku's shit together.
>>5600948All we have to say is "You'd be dead if I were at full strength" and immediately his retard fight brain would go "Aight bet". He can't help himself. Too much head trauma.
>>5601076That MIGHT work but I have a feeling that particular tard is gunning for us first, probably because the Time Patrol expects us to nuke The Boi first (and they would be correct in assuming so). Goku's serving as the Gorilla Glue to slow down a VERY angry Gorilla
>>5601135I think they've realized we're gonna kill Trunks every time, so they're sending him out with a battle buddy.
>>5601141And that battle buddy will ALSO be torn to shreds. We WILL crush his skull.I'm surprised they didnt personally send for Jiren to gank Karn minute 1. If fucking Demigra couldn't do it, I'd just throw the kitchen sink at him and pray.
>>5600999Now that's more of a plan.>>5601076Sure, but the times he's done that is when he's confident he (or someone else in Gohan's case) can win.We just might have to fight him with Goku Logic instead. The kind of "Compliment his strength and hope we can fight again some day." reasoning.
>>5601175>but the times he's done that is when he's confident he can win.The goku that tried to punch us into our kids is Blueku, and GD said that he's stronger than us even in Supervillain. I'm pretty sure he's already confident in his victory, and will lower his guard if we're on the backfoot long enough.
>>5601185We did beat kaioken blue evolved Ace (barely, in a spar) I think we already got a fair shot against Super!Goku without hoping for a free senzu
>>5601171Yeah you'd think they'd recognize Karn as the priority target by now and send more than a handful of retards at a time to deal with him.
>>5601225This is the first time since we iced Pink Bitch that they bothered showing up. I think its a combo of the Time War and them being afraid of us. I'm actually expecting to get Jiren'd, seeing how we can actually hurt anyone and everyone on their team pretty grievously.
>>5600716It was a great time. Too bad it’ll never happen again :^)>>5600719Short, gameified version is it’s an output equalizer, at the cost of hp/ki/stamina drain. The more power it gives the faster/harsher the endurance drain. The only way you’ll be able to fight without it is by fighting someone like Trunks you’ve stacked debuffs against. Even Future Chaya needs to break it out occasionally, and she’s a LOT stronger than you are.>>5600748Not on missions. He may want ro occasionally, but a he isn’t trusted with them and b if the bad guy’s captured he can get his “fair fight” in Conton City.>>5600773Ha>>5600800Blue Goku is a LOT stronger than most people credit him for. And comparing SSG Goku to SSG Trunks is laughable. Like comparing Super Saiyan Trunks post-Yardrat to Future Trunks, not even in the same weight class.>>5600948Goku wanted him to give up and go away, repent his evil ways but go free. Being held prisoner isn’t a life worth living to someone like Goku.>>5600999The Time Patrol showed up in greater numbers than your group. And at least one fight here is going to be the patron_exclusive comm Goten and Trunks vs Tatsu and Tomi, so you all will get a little extra. Most beings wouldn’t last long against Meloka. But she doesn’t possess the means to put down a Buu for long.>>5601076At least Vegeta learned that lesson. It’s never NOT worked out for Goku yet.>>5601135HA!>>5601171You’d better, if you get the opportunity. Or he could become....Unmanageable. Gif quite possibly related.>>5601185>I'm pretty sure he's already confident in his victory, and will lower his guard if we're on the backfoot long enough.Super, no, not just DBS. But damn near every Goku is ALWAYS confident in his victory, even against stronger foes.>>5601225>Yeah you'd think they'd recognize Karn as the priority target by now and send more than a handful of retards at a time to deal with him.Who says she hasn’t? After all, SKoT waited until you’d not only distanced yourself but thrown that massive blast too before sending her goon squad.
>>5601284And BOi, an Goku won't even question why Pink Bitch is acting this way
Were we bait? Did Chronoa use Conton City's Dragon Balls to take down Mechi's spells, and now Mechi is sending a task force to break in and steal the Dark DBs, now that her greatest tool is temporarily unavailable?
>>5601313Goku doesn’t question much, true.
>>5601355I’ll just say this now, no. Besides, he’s already got his way in. He just has to wait until the final few pieces of his plan are fully realized.
>>5601365I swear if that fucker asks why is there a birthday cake, AND THAT IS WHAT GETS HIM, I vote to strangle the dumb bastard with his intestines.
>>5601284>The Time Patrol showed up in greater numbers than your group.>After all, SKoT waited until you’d not only distanced yourself but thrown that massive blast too before sending her goon squad.>You’d better, if you get the opportunity. Or he could become....Unmanageable. Gif quite possibly related.Oh dear. They've seen to have grown an extra half of a braincell last time we saw them. Doesn't seem like such of a Spring Breeze this time, and we have no new form to show for this.
>>5601423Goku will 100% ask if he can have some, won't he?
>>5601284>Like comparing Super Saiyan Trunks post-Yardrat to Future Trunks, not even in the same weight class. You mean Goku right? Because I swear to fuck if BOI has learned spirit fission bullshit...
>>5601479We will be kicked near the cake, and as he looks at we say, why do you fuckers hate my childrens birthday parties?
>>5601423Food is secondary to fighting.>>5601454They’re ready for a war. I’ll say this, SKoT brought in some big guns this time, as well as her team’s own healers like Josuke. It will be a hard fight.>>5601483Yes that’s what I meant.>>5601489Ha. But that wouldn’t stop Goku, that’d be a PRESENT for one of his birthdays.
>>5601509Goku is worse than Vegeta, once he gets in fight mode he is a hateable bastard

>>5601530Shoot at the healer when optimum, but DDF everybody.....WAIT JOSUKE WILL SEE DDF!>Bitch cheats more grabbing from JOJO'sTypical
>>5601533Actually, it's probably a GREAT idea to gank the fuck out of Josuke, but only when Jotaro is occupied.ZA WARUDO is a motherfucker.

>>5601596They could be trouble, but would have to do damage to back up their speed.>>5601831Well, we saw what happened to him(I believe, if I’m remembering correctly) at Chilli’s wedding. Bodied by Karn Jr. Or was that Kira, I can’t remember
>>5602066I think it was Kira
>>5602067It could be, would have to go back to check. I know Caulifla killed a Kira, but I really think Karn Jr was the one who pulled a Gohan v Raditz but with inverse powerlevels and shot straight through him.
>>5602250Diavolo was the one who got Gohan'd by Karn Junior. It was because Karn Junior was immune to Time Skip, iirc, because Fateless shit(?)
>>5602280No I think Diavolo just got got like a chump, I read the archives>You watch, jaw dropping even further as the kid’s golden hair begins growing, eyebrows vanishing as suddenly the old, one armed man is blasted off away from the super-powered infant. And then he’s gone! Turning back to where Diavolo was standing, you see the Italian mob boss standing there shocked. And looking down at the gaping hole in his torso. “Wh-What?” Diavolo says, sinking down limply to a knee. “I couldn’t....see...hi...”>GrandDragon: He was too fast, Diavolo clearly couldn’t react in time. What else could have happened, right? It seems plausible, too. Junior was less than a year old or something iirc
>>5602280>>5602334Yes it was a Diavolo, I had to check. Seeing into the future doesn't help if you couldn't see what happened.
>>5602408I guess he saw that he had no future then, huh?
This Kazuma epilogue is going quite well, we'll get to see a magic user's perspective on not only Meloka's hellstorm, but Ainz's Super Tier Magic Fallen Down. And, of course, the Time Patrol's arrival.
>>5602508Oh yeah, Kazuma saw what we did to Trunks before
>>5602517Yes he did. And he most certainly remembers.
>>5602529He fucking better.....wait....he's gonna try talking to Goku isn't he?
>>5602534Eh, I wouldn't worry about Kazuma. He's a punk ass bitch, and unlike the heavyweight hikkikomori hitman that shared his (lack of) bravery, he understands loud and clear that one of the safest place to be in the universe is on Karn's friend list. He even got a live demonstration of what happens to those who are unfortunate enough to be on The Shitlist. Kazuma is many things, but he studied the Fuck Around & Find Out graph long before he got isekai'd.
>>5602534No, he's going to probably hide behind Darkness once more.>>5602541He does know that graph quite well, and understands not only his own limits but the limits of luck too.
>>5602553Meh, it mediaget his luck stat fucking with things....you mean to say holding Darkness back from rushing headlong into getting Gibbed like an idiot right?>He does know that graph quite well, and understands not only his own limits but the limits of luck too.
9 post epilogue let's goo! Tomorrow's going to be a fun ride, hope everyone's ready!>>5602569We'll have to wait and see
>>5602626I'm ready for our resident Isekai protags to see what the fuck is up around here
>>5602647Kazuma is probably fairly clued in, even if he is missing more than a few specific details. He certainly seemed to panic when he saw...whatever it is that was in King Cold's treasure horde.
>>5602774He saw every anime ever that he remembered and then some, then realised they all died and he works for the PTO now.
>>5602776Yeah, but I'm talking about whatever unnamed object caused him to go "WHAT THE FUCK" internally when he saw it.
>>5602784I don't remember, I think it cut to black.
>>5602647Its going to be one hell of a show.>>5602774It was something impressive, thats for sure.>>5602776This too. But the one that set the danger levels ABOVE the others that wasn’t revealed.>>5602784>>5602789Yes, it wasn’t shown to us. But he knows and feels fear

>>5603006Goddamnit GD what was the mysterious object. I must know.
>>5603006This is like that accursed cube all over againSpeaking of the cube though did the eggheads manage to replicate the healing item inside? I just had the most stunning revelation that we actually do have Not senzu beans and the time patrol don't know or dont realize the implications.
