Wealth, fame, power. Gold Roger the king of the pirates obtained this and everything else the world had to offer. And his dying words drove countless souls to the seas.
"You want my treasure? You can have it! I left everything I gathered together in one place. Now you just have to find it!"

Well, you officially have all of those so the idea of wanting more seems a bit pointless to you. In the aftermath of what came to be known as the Second War of Marineford the balance of power in the world has shifted completely. The World Government is in complete disarray as day by day people lose more faith in them thanks in no part to Big News Morgans spreading very accurate battle reports to all corners of the world via his newspaper and even den-den mushi projections which he expanded his portfolio to due to very generous donations from anonymous facotrs, factors which are coincidentally owned indirectly by you. All of this happened in mere days. As a result the world correctly assumes that a declaration of war has been issued by you and anyone who stubbornly refuses to join might be liable to getting hit in the crossfire. Only a few of the older and more righteous nations remain staunch supporters of the current system, Arabasta and Dressrosa being chief among them.

"Well crap. Now I feel kinda silly. I spent all those years preparing for a war yet I never could put fear in people's souls like that. And all you did was saying how you're coming after them."
Kaido says as he eats an apple.

"It's surprising how much you can achieve if you just act, isn't it? And it's not even the best part. Mihawk showed up the other day alongside some clown and offered to throw their lot in with me if they can just sit out the war. Put them under Crocodile. Now they're working on some mercenary guild that anyone can hire against the government."

"Sounds smart."

"I know. By the way... why are you still here?"

"Because it's fun. Being away from fucking Wano is such a relief. But don't worry. I called home and explained everything to the boys. They know who's in charge now. Really it's your fault we haven't left yet because I could go anytime."

"Sigh. I'm busy if you didn't realize."

"Yeah I did. I mean I heard this used to be a pretty fun place. But now it feels like everyone is ready to fight. How did you manage to convince all these people to stop screwin' around and fight? Especially after what happened at Marineford?"

"It was easy. People are simple once you figure them out. They may seem sweet, fun-loving and innocent. But take away their bread and their entertainment and you'll see just how vicious they can be. I simply told them that there is no more fun to be had until the Marines are gone. Now they are ready to fight until the last member of the navy is on a stake."

"Neat."
>>
Kaido drinks another cup of liquor.
"So you organized a mercenary guild, turned Outer Heaven into a military complex, put the fear of god in half the world... what else?"

"Oh I also murdered half the underworld kings. Pretty fun that was."

"WHAT?! How did you do that?"

"I just said that I want them dead and whoever brings me their heads gets a hundred years to live from me. The next day all the ones I wanted dead were here. Minus Stussy. She disappeared and nobody knows where she went."

"Whew. Honestly, now I'm getting a bit scared. Anyway, is that all or do you have other things you wanna do?"

"Hmmmmm. Nope, I think I'm good. We can head to Wano now if you wanna."

"Great! Go get your guys and we can head out immediately!"

"Just one more thing-"

"Oh for the love of-"

I don't want anyone to interrupt the wedding(s). At least try to work towards them being successful by minimizing the time interlopers have to plan and get there to fuck things up.

Yeah, but it seems a silver style thing to do

Also, what the Marines gonna do? Attack Silver at his absolute best?
>>
So what else we got to do besides War with Marines?

We go the marriage down.
>>
>>5632370
Im not sure about this, im down for it not being open invite but i don't want to hide the fact we're getting married like we're scared
>>
>>5632370
>Would it be okay if the whole party was an open invite? I like big things
>>
I feel Silver will do it just too stick it too everyone, he has nothing too fear
>>
Yeah ultimately i think open invite is fine, the only factions left in the world that are a threat to us are, shanks, BB, the WG, and the revolutionaries, and im confident with our forces we can take any of them on in a 1V1, and besides maybe shanks and the revolutionaries there ain't no way they team up and the revolutionaries have no reason to fight us rn, plus for the wedding itself rayleigh would prob be there aswell, so that'd be 2 yonko lvl fighters in us and kaido and 1 close to yonko lvl fighter in rayleigh, we'd prob be fine
>>
Yeah, and honestly, we technically have 3 Yonko groups with us

Kaido and his beast pirates

Katakuri and the Sweet Pirates

Our own crew who have fought all the admirals to a draw with us.

And likely Mihawk and Cross Guild if they attend.

BB and Shanks would never work, Shanks would at leats respect us and stay out of it.

WB remnants might show up, but without most of their members and the old man himself they are not as big a threat.

Rev's will probs leave us alone.

Main concern is Goofy and the Samurai, but we can take em.

>there ain't no way they team up
>Famous last words of Rocks D. Xebec
>>
>>5632387
So us throwing a big open invite wedding is just a display of our confidence and power in our current standing, unlike the alternative where we try to hide it which would make us look weak and scared if it were to ever get out, which it probably would since alot of the fishman island upper echelon would probably come and boa aswell, someone would take note of it, hell we've already got spies in our ranks no doubt just with how big our orginazation is, so trying to hide it would just mean we'd have less open defenses on the wedding itself, probably making it more dangerous overall
>>
>>5632389
I mean the sweet pirates have definetly been knocked down from yonko tier with big moms death, so wouldn't count them, though if we invite mihawk he's definetly atleast near yonko tier if not straight up yonko tier himself
>>
>>5632393
They are still a Yonko tier crew. Aside from Homies and big mom herself, they lost nothing.

And you know, we will be there, the guy who killed her.

And who has only gotten stronger
>>
>>5632390
I mean i just don't see shanks or BB that desperate to take us out in all honesty, especially since the most likely ally would be the WG that'd be a major hit to there reputations and good name, being seen as bending the knee to them, like i think shanks or BB best case for destroying silver would be just straight up publically declaring they want the 1V1 if they're confident they can take silver, since silver would need to accept or risk looking weak which he can't do since his entire orginzation is built upon the fact he's strong, and if they manage to kill silver his entire orginzation just falls apart then
>>
>>5632394
I just think Shirahoshi would appreciate it if no one died on her wedding day anon. That's the least you could do before you start a giant fuck off war to end all wars, give your pacifist wife a peaceful wedding.
>>
>>5632396
I mean, BB is a massive coward, so either sabotage or he stays the fuck away from us.

He will wait till we are weakened or a chance too hurt us appears.
>>
>>5632397
I mean technically we already started the war, but you get what I'm saying.
>>
>>5632397
>>5632400
Goofy is involved, that ain't gonna happen
>>
>>5632394
MB i thought you were saying katakuri was yonko lvl, but yeah the sweet pirates as a whole are definetly still a strong crew, though probably really weakened with the lack of homies, since i probably imagine alot of the menial aspects were reliant on homie power, and probably hasn't been long enough for katakuri to completely replace it with another system yet
>>
>>5632397
I think the weddings going to be known to anybody that matters no matter what, hiding the fact its happening would just mean we wouldn't be able to put top tier defenses around it IMO
>>
>>5632402
I mean, none of the sweet commanders or such use em, it was mostly convenience or in their home turf they were used.

It was there own df's that messed with people, so overall I say they are about as strong as WB faction during Payback War, maybe a bit better since they had less casualties.
>>
>>5632397
Would you be down for a compromise vote where we don't have it open invite but don't hide the fact we're having a wedding?
>>
>>5632405
Like morgans would prob be invited and maybe even broadcasting the entire thing over den den mushi but if BB or shanks made an appearance we'd open fire and couldn't hide under the fact we technically allowed them to come
>>
Also, getting up Wano is pretty hard, a fleet would never manage to get on our waters before we shoot em down.

Every major character arrived in a single ship. Hell Green bull flew in rather than finding another way up.
>>
>>5632405
I was just about to write a post to suggest that. So yeah that seems ideal to me.
>>
>>5632404
I mean i always personally assumed that like the chess homies were the ones who like piloted each of their individual ships, since we're never given any indication from what i remember that big moms kids had actual ppl under them besides some other siblings, and i just doubt any kid of big moms would accept doing the menial jobs that using a ship has when they can just have homies do it
>>
>>5632412
Oh yeah, chess guys

They were mostly just mooks tho.

>>
>>5632414
Yeah but still at the end of the day you just need hands to run a ship, so without the homies the sweet pirates might just be incapable of launching their entire fleets atm
>>
>>5632416
I guess I'll support this
>>

>>
>>5632370

>Would it be okay if the whole party was an open invite? I like big things

>>5632426
Yeah and it allows us to bring all our major allies aswell instead of having to have them stay away to try and hide the fact we're having a wedding, which will be a major help if someone DOES try to attack
>>
Hmm, so who this wedding be for? Fishy or Sonia?
>>
>>5632432
Think its a double wedding, that or we're doing it one after the other
>>
>>5632432
Yes!
>>
Hmmmm, so who we gonna be pining for when Goofy gets here?

I kinda wanna deal with Midd first, maybe Law and Goofy afterwords.
>>
>>5632449
Kidd won't be here, without kaido capturing him he's still gunning for shanks, and law will probably caution luffy against fighting kaido, since fighting 1 yonko is one thing but an entire army with atleast 3 yonko lvl combatants is another
>>
>>5632451
Didn't he get captured after Mingo got caught?

I recall it was mentioned on the social sheet he got captured.

Dunno if Law will cut his losses, but I imagine he might decided to stick with it, or maybe surrender
>>
>>5632451
like i can genuinely see law bailing now, or as said at the very leasy heavily cautioning against fighting now if he feels his debt for them helping out at dressrosa is to much for him to bail
>>
>>5632453
Nah you're right, i thought he got captured after the end of WCI which could have had it up in the air whether he got captured here, but it was end of dressrosa which means he is probably rn in lock up
>>
>>5632460
I feel he will fight us to spite us, so him and killer will probs be a warm up.

Sanji will be gunning for us for sure tho, we killed his dad. Even if the fucker deserved it and more.

“Would it be okay if the whole party was an open invite? I was thinking about telling Morgans about it and announcing it to the world because I like big parties.”

He nervously rubs the back of his neck.
“I don’t know about that. That rat Orochi likes things being locked down.”

“But why?”

“Wano was always an isolationist place. I guess they just hate outsiders, or fear change, or something like that. But Orochi personally doesn’t like letting people in because they are an unknown factor which he can not account for. Strangers he haven’t broken yet might act against him, they might incite rebellions or take people out of there. Basically he really doesn’t like others playing with his toys. He likes to show them off but has a strict “no touching” policy. It’s the reason why he always and only welcomes guests at Onigashima. It’s basically separate from the whole country.”

“And I should care… why?”

“Worororo. Fair point. Go nuts then! Not like I need to care about him either. Not anymore.”

“Sweet! I’m gonna make a few calls then!”

“Alright! I'll notify your crew in the meantime.”

After you pick up your den-den mushi to give Morgans and Kaido tells everyone about the situation you start getting ready. First issue being the matter of getting Shirahoshi up from the bottom of the sea. Thankfully she’s been prepared for this for a while now as you’ve told her about the arrangement with Kaido already. She had no objections to the whole thing, and she even agreed to sharing the day with Sandersonia, with the stipulation that they both get separate ceremonies. Sandersonia agreed.
>>
>>5632461
Hmm i do think once silver lands on wano probably one of the first things that he'll do is remove orochi, like kaido was already planning it, and can't remember if its ever been stated how silver would react to prison camps, is forcing prisoners to work too close to slavery in silvers mind? cause if so he probably immediately dismantles all the prison camps in wano and the weapons factories, which kid would currently be in
>>
>>5632467
Cavaliere "If there isn't a wage, you'll face my rage" Silver will surely like forced labor prison camps
>>
>>5632462
Umm i don't think open invite won with the vote changes think the write-in got it, or am i just really bad a maths here
>>
>>5632467
Yeah, but Kidd by now has probably broken out.

Ironically, that will mean Silver will catch onto the rebellion immediately that way since they are using Udon prison as their base for training.

Tho lets best honest, Silver will probs just let them have their rebellion and fight him at their best.

Free em, let em party, and knock em down at their best if they think they can mess with him.
>>
>>5632475
>Im going to get morgan to broadcast it worldwide, i want the entire world to know that im laying down roots for after i destroy the world goverment and the celestial dragons
I interpreted this as an open invite, since you also linked it to that. And others supported it
>>
>>5632476
I mean i assume rn wanos in the kinda timeskip that happened between the start and the raid of onigashima, since i think there was a little timeskip there, but kaido also wasn't there at all for the beginning of wano, so things are probably totally different, and it doesn't seem the beast pirates have reported anything important to kaido
>>
>>5632476
It would be downright rude to deny people the right to overthrow their oppressors and rip them to bloody shreds.

That said if they make Shirahoshi cry on her wedding day we'd be obliged to administer one hell of a spanking.
>>
>>5632480
I mean it was a vote specifically made as a compromise open, where we let it be known we're having the wedding and let it be big but we're not making it open invite specifically so BB or shanks can't just rock up to it
>>
>>5632484
If they bring gifts, maybe

Honestly, they both know to mind their manners around us.
>>
>>5632484
Since a couple ppl were leery of just letting BB and shanks come since they might start some shit and ruin the wedding
>>
BB has no balls, and Shanks respects us.

Also, again, Wano is pretty hard to approach, you either need good ships and great shipwrights, or you need to fly.
>>
>>5632497
I don't think we've ever so much have gotten even the faintest idea of shanks opinion of us, hell i don't think he's ever really been a major aspect of this quest at all, for all we know he think we're just as big of not a bigger threat than BB, which we've seen he takes very seriously, and if it was open invite we'd be forced to let them into wano and their both yonko, no shot both there ships ain't top tier enough to handle it, like personally i don't think they'd cause shit, shanks probably wouldn't do anything hostile during a peaceful event and BB wouldn't do anything with so many enemies around but just stating what the purpose of the vote was
>>
Oh well, only time and Spooks can tell what will happen
>>
Though i wonder what happened to the other warlords, like if buggy managed to get out i assume all the warlords did, and with how miss buckingham reacted to us i expected she and weevil would have immediately made an appearance to put themselves under us but spook didn't mention them in the initial update so assume they're both still after the WB remnants
>>
>>5632509
That, or they died.
>>
>>5632512
That or they'l make their move during the weddings.
Let's be honest: People will be wanting to do or discuss business after all, it's just the nature of the game.
>>
>>5632516
I mean its been atleast like a week since the war and this will be the first indication of our wedding, so like miss buckingham wouldn't have known about the wedding coming up so think its more likely she'd have come to us right after the war if she was going to at all
>>
>>5632519
Sure, she wouldn't know about the wedding specifically.
But if you didn't know where you stood and wanted an opportunity to find us in a good mood, surrounded by people, and in a locale we're we'd probably be reticent to commit random acts of murder a wedding is a lot safer then, say, showing up to pirate ancapistan and hoping for the best.
>>
>>5632521
Yeah but literally as you said she had no idea the wedding was coming, like the most common assumption of what we'd do next would be starting the war with the WG, which obviously she'd want to get in on early, don't want to wait til the wars already done and make it look like she was a coward who joined only after we'd already won, since it doesn't exactly take a genius to see silver or anyone really wouldn't like that
>>
>>5632527
Like you'd want to get your foot in the door b4 the war so that after the war is done you'd be granted a cozy position of power afterwards for your service in the war
>>
>>5632516
And you didn't need a friend of me. But uh, now you come to me and you say -- "Emperor Silver give me justice." -- But you don't ask with respect. You don't offer friendship. You don't even think to call me Godfather. Instead, you come into my house on the day my two Fiancées are to be married, and you uh ask me to do murder, for money.
>>
>>5632529
Thank you.

>>5632528
>>5632527
Sure but at the same time Silver has something of a reputation for casual violence and if you aren't sure where you stand you might not wanna take the risk. Because it is one hell of a risk.
>>
>>5632530
I mean we might have a reputation for violence but doubt its the type that'd make it seem like we'd just randomly kill an extremely strong combatant who wants to put themselves under us right b4 a massive war, especially with the fact we have already taken another set of warlords into our service already with mihawk and buggy, like she'd have no reason to think we'd kill them just for showing up
>>
>>5632536
Really? Because I remember a certain event in Outer Heaven where a bunch of crews came to swear their allegiance and it ended up a bloodbath.
Yes I know we didn't tell them to, but that's what they expected and it's what went down.
We most certainly do have that kind of reputation.
>>
>>5632539
We don't want weenie's, big difference
>>
>>5632539
I mean that was to proof strength IIRC, and well even if for some reason we wanted weevil to prove his strength i mean miss buckingham would be pretty confident in weevils ability for that, plus that was for fodder, not an already established warlord who managed to fight off a seraphim that killed our mother
>>

42 KB JPG
>>5632545
>>5632541
It still went down as follows: People came to Outer Heaven, offered allegiance and then butchered one another.
People arn't gonna remember the reasons, or that none of them had to do anything at all. All they know and hear about our recruiting is that they involve *Hagetaka joining the fray and carving people up*
That's the kind of reputation that makes people wait for a good opportunity to introduce themselves.
>>
>>5632547
Yeah but as said, im confident miss buckingham would be confident in weevil passing any test that silver would set, especially with the fact buggy passed it apparently
>>
>>5632550
More they are neutral

Buggy had a rep and lots of men so Mihawk thought to use him
>>
>>5632551
I doubt mihawk brought buggy, mihawk just probably immediately started coming our way and buggy stuck with the strongest person he could find and arrived with him then offered us his services
>>
After you get the fish-girl and her family to come up to the surface you pack everyone onto the Dauntless and have Kaido guide you to the elusive nation of Wano. You’ve been to the land once but that’s the extent any of you really know about the place. Even Clown is a bit short on information regarding the place.

With the dragon as your guide you enter the kingdom through the private elevator which is highly guarded by the Beast Pirates. And as you arrive on the top you’re presented with what’s obviously the best face Wano can show. The whole place looks like it has been decorated just for your arrival, though undoubtedly the upcoming Flower Festival did make arranging this a whole lot easier.

However one slight blemish on the whole thing is that ugly mug of Orochi. He seemed like a swell guy that one time you kinda met him. But he still looks horrendous on every level imaginable.
“Why hello there! Greetings outsiders and welcome to my kingdom! I am Lord Orochi, but please just call me just Orochi! Oh my! What jade-like beauties do my eyes behold!”

“A-Ah, thank you!”
Shirahoshi thanks him though she’s obviously unnerved by him.

“Jeez. What a creep.”
Marcella is a lot less willing to act nice.

“Now I’m aware you’re Kaidos allies and that you’d like to have your marriage during the Fire Festival. Why I’d be happy to oblige. The bigger the party, the better! But I’d just like to say that obviously a ceremony fit for a king costs a small fortune. So I hope Kaido-”

“Orochi-”
Kaido responds.
“They’re not paying. This is a favor. Consider it the gift for their engagement. And second, they are not my allies. He’s my boss.”

“WHAAAAAAAAAT?!”
The little man jumps up on Kaido and grabs onto him by the collar of his shirt.
“WHADDAYA MEAN BOSS?!”
His shrieking voice drills into your ears mercilessly.
“WHY HAVEN’T YOU TOLD ME YOU HAD A BOSS?! ALSO HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?! I WAS LEFT HERE ALL ALONE! WHO KNOWS WHAT THE PEASANTRY WOULD’VE DONE IF THEY FOUND OUT YOU LEFT? AND SECOND! WHO ARE YOU TO BE SPENDING MONEY FROM MY TREASURY?!”

You decide to ignore the man, even Kaido gives you a nod to just go ahead because this might take a while. A few handmaidens start guiding you further inside but as you go you pass by Kaidos subordinates. His four All-Stars are present, no surprise there. But you notice two two additional figures you were not expecting, and ones you’re at least a little familiar with.

X-Drake and Basil Hawkins, two of your former “peers” and current underlings of Kaido. You don’t want to spend much time thinking about weenies but something hits your nose. A certain, familiar scent. You look at Drake and notice him glaring at you and trying to act like he isn’t. You grin at him. He frowns.

Oh great, now Garp is a conquerors user

Why? Didn't Oda say he didn't have it?
>>

No? odas never said garp doesn't have CH

I remember sengoku getting confirmed having it but never heard it stated that garp didn't, course have heard theories from fans over the years but no hint from oda himself

Despite the fact that he stinks of justice you decide to ignore him. You’re not going to cause a scene now and if he still wants to die he’s free to make a move against you anytime. So you just glare at him as you walk past, making sure that he gets the message.

Moving on you’re guided inside where everyone is shown to his or her own separate room. Naturally Shirahoshi and Sandersonia are both right next to you but they still have their private spaces. After everyone made themselves comfortable and unpacked you receive an invitation from Orochi to a meal in your honor. It’d be rude to refuse so you naturally chose to accept. Your crew did the same because they aren’t shy about accepting free food but the Neptunes and Sandersonia were much too creeped out by him and decided to stay behind.

After a rather tedious and frankly boring opening ceremony you start stuffing your face without restraints. Your mood is only ruined when Orochi opened his mouth and let loose his vile voice.
“So uh… I hope everything is to your liking!”

“Yuh.”

“I’m glad, I’m glad. Naturally I am honored to host Kaidos erm… employer! But I’ve been meaning to ask a question from you! You see I distinctly remember the last time you came to visit and there were no indications of you being his superior. Am I wrong?”

“No.”

“Then please enlighten me, because I don’t understand what’s going on!”

“Simple. I beat him one-on-one. So now I’m his boss. And by extension, yours.”

“I beg your pardon?”

“You must be as dumb as you look. Did you think you wouldn’t have to answer to me?”

“I answer to no one! I am Orochi! The Shogun of Wano! And Kaido is in my employment! If anything that makes YOU subservient to ME!”

You glance over at Kaido who simply shrugs and starts chugging more sake.
“Don’t look at me. It was funny.”

“Ah. I see. So you really were dumb enough to think you were in control. That’s almost impressive, too bad it’s so sad.”

“How dare you insult Lord Orochi that way?!”
One of the Shoguns retainers shouts at you.

“Kaido?”

“Do as you will Silver. You already told me to quit our war preparations. So we have literally no need to keep up this charade anymore.”

“WHAT?! Now you listen here you overgrown worm!”
Orochi looks at Kaido.
“The weapon production will keep going as long as I say it does! And it will until the end of time or I squeeze the last drop of blood from the maggots of Wano! Whichever happens first!”

You get up from the table and glare at Orochi.

>Tell him in no uncertain terms that he now obeys you

>>
>Conquerors Haki
>>You can obey me, or you can fuck off
>>>Draw sword, if you wanna be in charge, beat me in combat. Otherwise get lost.
>>
>>5632712
>Draw your sword

We dislike him, shirahoshi dislikes him, sandersonia dislikes him, kaido dislikes him, our crew dislikes him, there is literally no reason to keep him alive, kill him here kill any loyalist and make the rest fall in line, we can find someone to look after wano while we're here, maybe yamato
>>
>>5632716
Would Silver be able too tell that he survived decapitation given his df?

Or will he keep popping up like a snake several times?
>>
>>5632712
>Draw your sword
But we're at a table right? Drag him off to some other out of the way place before killing him. Dinner time is sacred.
>>
>>5632716
Like genuinely is there any reason to keep orochi alive? even the clean up afterwards is fairly simple, the only ppl loyal to him are his ninjas so the clean up isn't particularly hard to do either, just have to put some actually competent ppl in charge of shirahoshis protection on the look out for poison and whatever incase they decide to go for a thematic revenge if they realize they can't beat us and his presense would only soil our weddings
>>
>>5632724
His fruit, maybe

Or his tactician skills

Otherwise, no
>>
>>5632721
Well maybe with our OH we could feel life force still in his "corpse" but even if we can't i don't imagine it as a particularly big deal, we'd probably find out he's still slithering about soon enough and then we can deal with him, like the closest thing to a threat orochis faction has is potentially harming shirahoshi, but i like the imagine silver has got her under the best protection possible and ain't no way silvers gonna play nice because he's scared of a threat orochi presents
>>
>>5632712
>>5632715
Supporting.
>>
>>5632728
What if we just make his body explode on itself?
>>
>>5632726
his fruit is wasted on him anyway, we can just have it removed from him, and i don't think orochi has ever shown any particularly good tactician skills has he? most of the plans that got him in power were made by other ppl, only instance of him planning i can think of is when he destroyed the bridges, and while kinda smart wasn't exactly what i'd call some 1000 IQ big brain plan
>>
>>5632712
>>5632732
Oh yeah extracting his fruit is a nice idea.
>>
>>5632732
I mean, he was pretty devious with his plans to get support, albeit with family aid

Honestly tho, I feel whatever wins he won't live very long. He'll have no power in a country where everyone hates him and samurai rebels will be knocking on the door.

But least we can say we gave him the offer to join us.
>>
>>5632732
Like im not gonna call orochi stupid, but far from a genius, he's slightly above average at best and what intelligence he does have is hampered by his pride and vanity
>>
>>5632734
Idk to me those never seemed to be his plans to me, like atleast to me it looked like he was just following the clone clone fruit old womans ideas and plans
>>

Yeah, but all his plans to destroy wano from the inside were all his. His Grandma wanted too rule it.

He can be devious when not an idiot basically.

I'd actually be game for giving him and offer to bow, but just don't see silver doing it since he obviously personally dislikes him and every other person silver knows dislikes him aswell, like im trying to think of IC why silver would be like "ok its annoying but i'll have him work for me instead of killing him and putting someone else in charge"
>>
>>5632740
Is it really hard for a dictator to destroy a country though? like most dictators do that shit accidently so imagine actively trying to do it would just make it easier, like yeah do agree like i said do think orochi can be slightly clever, but its nothing to write home about even disregarding him self sabotaging with his own ego

Support

See the problem with Shirahoshi not being in the room is that Shirahoshi is, in fact, not in the room with us.

>>5632716
I say let a civil war decide it.
It'd be the polite thing to do.
>>
>>5632740
Honestly the way I see it either he dies now or he dies when Silver sees how he runs the country, might as well get it over with.
>>
Though i suppose a funny thing that'd come from us killing orochi would be that kanjuro probably never betrays the scabbards and instead just actively works in the background to try and get them to kill us as revenge for orochi, and considering right now orochi is the only one who knows kanjuros a traitor in-quest no one would probably ever find out about it
>>
>>5632751
a hundred years from now kanjuro is only written in the history books and an honorable and loyal samurai, no one ever knowing that all along he was loyal to orochis regime that was cut down b4 he could actively declare his loyalty towards it
>>
Well. He dead
>writing
>>
Honestly, Kanjuro isn't that much loyal to Orochi

Like, he obeys his commands and serves him, but its more because he is a deathseeker who wishes to go out in a final performance.

He's too empty to not obey Orochi.

You wipe your mouth clean, walk all the way over to Orochi and knock out all his guards with a glance before looking at him.
“You’re wrong about a lot of things, chief among them is that you got a say in the matter. Those factories are shutting down, and Wano will be run according to my will. That can happen with you at the helm, or six feet under. Your choice.”

“Y-You… You dare threaten me?! In my own home?! In my palace?! In MY COUNTRY?! Fukurokuju! Kill this-”
Orochis ninjas who were hiding in the rafters fall down one by one.
“E-EEEEEEH?!”

“You’re right. It is a bit rude of me to be murdering you, after you invited me and gave me a place to host my party at. Which is why I’m hesitant about killing you. That and not wanting to soil my mood before my wedding. But… I’ve done some improvements since the last time I came here. And now I can see and hear clearly what’s happening in your country. Even all the way from here. So I can’t exactly just sit down and ignore you. So I’m giving you the option to choose. Now make it quick. I don’t have all day.”

“You… ignorant… peasant!”
His body starts to wobble, grow and shift as he’s filled with rage.
“I AM OROCHI! I rule this land! The mightiest nation in the world! And I conquered it with my own hands and wit! And you think you can just take it from me? You will-”

“Splendid. Thank you.”
It took only a moment. Drawing Argent and plunging it into Orochis heart. Just a little burst of your will and his life was annihilated in him. It was a near instant and near painless death. Perhaps much better than what he deserved, but you’d loathe to make a mess. As you withdrew your sword and wiped it on his kimono you returned to your seat.
“Gonna have to make a proclamation after this… Poop.”

“You do have a certain way of making more work for yourself Silver.”

“Shut up Kaido…”
>>
And that is it for today
Hope you enjoyed yourselves
See you later
>>
>>5632773
So who we putting in charge of wano? IC i feel like silver would either meet with high officals or ask some of his trusted ppl to investigate who'd be best, maybe broach with yamato to see if they want to do it since they obviously love the country, OOC we might be able to put momonosukes in charge of wano under our command to avoid conflict but with kaido as our subordinate i think it unlikely

Probably the same rules as with everywhere else or Outer Heaven: Do whatever you want as long as it doesn't upset us.
I still vote for a civil war.... Once the festival is over with.

We should just rename the island "Shirahoshi island" and put one of her other brothers besides fukaboshi in charge, have it be a wedding gift to her, of course then we need to pick out an island to give to sandersonia, and nutmeg would probably demand her own island afterwards aswell lol

"Chief? Excuse me but I got some- MORGANS!"
The editor rushes to the side of the large bird-man laying on the floor, nearly choking on foam coming from his mouth.
"Chief! CHIEF! Speak to me! SOMEONE GET A MEDIC! MORGANS IS INJURED! HURRY!"

"J-Johnny? Is that you my boy?"

"I-It's Bobby sir. I'm here!"
The editor says whilst struggling with his tears.

"I-I don't care Jimmy. Listen. I... I need you to do me a favor."

"A-Anything sir!"

"Come closer. Closer. Closer... I need you to GET YOUR ASS OUT OF HERE AND SCRAP EVERY ARTICLE WE PREPARED! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE WASTING MY TIME YOU IMBECILE!"

"OW! S-Sir? Are you okay?"

"Never better Jimbo! Now get your ass moving and tell everyone that this week's issue will be about the war and nothing BUT the war! Have I made myself clear? The world NEEDS to see this! This kid! He keeps making older Big News look like jokes! The Pirate King what? Whitebeard who? The sacking of Mary Geoise whomst? I KNEW I was right betting on him! And that tapping Marineford would pay off."
Morgans begins thinking as his editor is about to leave.
"JIMMY! Get back here! I got another brilliant idea! Tell the printers to work overtime! I want every street of every settlement from the greatest capital cities to the smallest backwater to be COVERED with our papers. Don't ask for money. Just plaster that shit everywhere! Also call my contacts in the underworld. I want to make use of them while they still have their heads. Tell them I need ALL the radio den-den mushi in the WORLD!"

"S-Sir? If I may ask, why?"

"Because this isn't just Big News Bilbo, it's Big Opportunity! The world is about to change and we have a chance to expand our portfolio with it! I want radio snails in every settlement on every island! We'll put them there for free, of course. But the people will pay a tidy sum in subscription just so they can get live updates of Silvers escapades! And which direction he's heading next... Not only will we reach every ear in the world we'll be filthy rich from it!"

"But sir... isn't that erm... irresponsible? Dangerous? I mean look at what happened to-"

"BAH! Peclo and Du Feld got unlucky. Their business happened to be something he did not take a liking to. I'm not dumb enough to fall for that. I already liquidated all my assets that would get me... compromised. So long as we lay low and provide Silver with our invaluable services we can ride his coattails into prominence! And it's all thanks to my boy Silver! Ohohohoooo!"

"B-But what about the Straw Hats sir? You liked them too."

"The who? Why should I care about pitiful nobodies like that? The Worst Generation? Don't make me laugh! Nobody will ever call it that ever again! This my boy... this is Silver's Generation. The others are simply in it..."

Here comes the other one. This one is a bit experimental. Hope it turned out good

Marineford Coordination Center. Located dozens of meters below ground this is the central intelligence of the Marines and its operators are responsible for coordinating all their forces and relaying all relevant information to appropriate high ranking officers. And it's in total chaos. Red lights are flashing, alarms are blaring and the walls are shaking from the earthquakes.

"Squad Six reporting! We're surrounded! We need back-OHGOD-"
Channels keep frantically opening and closing. Lights on the transponder snails flash, signaling that the connection of the other snail has been lost.

One operator is screaming at the vice-admiral on the other hand.
"Negative! DO NOT enter Zone 10! The ground is covered in fishing hooks and broken glass! Your men will be torn to shreds if you take them in there!"

On another line a regular officer is asking for help.
"Help! We need help! Vice-Admiral Bugs is dead! Now he and everyone else that died is fighting back against us! GET US OUT OF HERE!"

One radio operator rolls away from his spot and starts shouting at his fellows.
"We just got a report from the medics in the rear line! The pirates released some sort of biological weapon that they are immune to! We need to warn everyone to avoid skin contact with others that look purple!"

Someone else is asking for a field to confirm their current situation.
"Squad Fourteen status report!"

"We're pinned down! There's a spider with a fucking rat and a kid on it! We hid behind a crashed ship but can't move! OH GOD THEY'RE FLANKIN-"

On the other end of the room two operators are talking to each other.
"They got a damn giant on their side! Where the hell is giant squad?! We need them to deal with this asap!"

"G-Giant Squad got taken out."

"By what?!"

"They got hit by a warship."

"A FUCKING WHAT?!"

"A fucking fish-man came at them swinging one of our warships by its anchor! Giant Squad can no longer fight!"

"What the fuck are we fighting against here..."

The banquette has become visibly a lot more awkward as the performers stopped plucking away at their instruments and pretty much all of Orochis subjects have become stunned by your brazen murder of their Shogun. What's more they can not believe that you simply went back to your seat and continued nibbling on the many snacks on the table. But whether they are outraged or relieved is hard to say.

"Lord Orochi!"
One of them finally pipes up.
"You scum! What have you done?!"

With one of them breaking the silence all of the samurai and ninja in the room start drawing their weapons. Kaidos men seem too confused to respond to that and your men simply don't bother. But as they are about to take a step forth you look up from the sushi you're currently sampling and glare at them. They then freeze in place and look like they're trying to attack you but their bodies physically can't move. There's no haki involved this time. It's simply the fact that they are skilled enough fighters that they recognize when someone is strong. And you are overwhelmingly powerful. To them it doesn't look like a man is sitting at the dinner table, in their eyes it's an almighty dragon coiled up with fangs dripping with fresh blood. And if they don't watch themselves they'll be devoured next.

"Go ahead. Feel free."
You return to the hors d'oeuvres.
"If you want to fight for a dead man then don't let me stop you. I'll even give you a free shot. And if you'll listen to my advice you'll aim for the eyes. Or you can sit down and eat some of these fishy rice rolls. They're quite good."

"U-Uh."

"He's saying you either work for him or you die, stupid samurai. Choose."

"Thank you Kaido."

They look at each other in confusion then back at you.
"J-Just like that?"

"Yeah."

"Well why didn't you say so?"
The samurai, or rather the mercenaries Orochi hired as samurai, laugh and sit down.
"Cheers boss!"

But the ninja don't.
"You curs! Have you no shame? Your honor dictates that you fight for Lord Orochi!"

"Yeah. But it doesn't say jack about dying for a corpse! Yahahahaha!"

You look up at the ninja who remain stalwart.
"So I take it you guys will fight."

"That's right! Unlike these dogs of war we have obey our code! Now please, stand up so we may begin!"

"No need. Die."

The bodies of the ninja begin violently shaking as they collapse with blood leaking from their ears, eyes and nose. The samurai who've already poured themselves a drink promptly spill it all over themselves. They look very afraid once more.
"W-What the hell..."

You tap your head.
"I boiled the blood in their head. Now go on. Don't be shy. Eat, drink. We celebrate tonight."
You urge the samurai to join you with one hand whilst signaling the servants to clean up the mess with the other.

"You know. I'm almost gonna miss that lil' guy."
Kaido says as he pours out a drink for the dead.
"Rest in peace you vile little man."
>>
After you finish eating you dismiss the servants of the palace and the samurai before turning to look at Kaido.
"Well that was pretty eventful, wouldn't you say?"

"Yeah. No kidding."

"Now what?"

"What?"

"I'm asking you what we're gonna do now."

"You mean you killed Orochi without considering what you're going to do next?! Wororororo! That's hilarious! Well... depends really on what you want. If you care about that, you could announce the fact that Orochi is dead to the people of Wano. Bet you'll be quite popular that way. There are the weapons factories with all the people Orochi enslaved. You could close that down. Just to give you a few ideas."

>I guess it'd be good for the people of Wano to learn who's boss now

"Hmmm. Factories you say? Slaves you say? I almost lost my appetite already. Yeah, that should be our next order of business."

"As you wish."

You finish your banquette and rest for the night. But the next day you make it your first order of business to travel to the mining facility that Kaido mentioned alongside a den den mushi connected to the big oni himself in case anyone tries to disagree with the direction you're taking things to. And good thing too because when you showed up people first tried to attack you but a quick call to Kaido managed to resolve that, even if it left the wardens confused. But after they received a very thorough verbal thrashing from Kaido they had no problems doing as they are told.

"So uh... this is the loudspeaker snail. Just use it and the whole place can hear your voice."

"Thanks uuuh-"

"Babanuki."

"I will literally never remember that. Anyway thanks but I don't need it."
Instead of using the snail you simply walk up to balcony and stand on its railings to overlook the courtyard where the people are working. You see that they wear slave collars and that Kaidos men are there, taunting them and in many cases using whips to agitate the slaves to be more effective. You take a deep breath and as soon as your voice escapes your lips the whole prison starts reverberating with it.
"Slaves of Wano. I am Silver. Look at me."
The working stops and everyone down there looks at you in confusion.
"Put down your tools now. From this moment onward you are no longer slaves. I give you back your freedom. Stay right where you are and the guards will release each and every one of you, before they serve you their meals for the day. That is all."

Silence momentarily falls on the place before it erupts in the confused murmurs of the prisoners and the enraged shouting of the guards, who demand just who you think you are. But Babanuki steps up next to you and he begins shouting in the snail he offered to you a moment ago.
"LISTEN UP PEOPLE! This is Cavalier Silver! One of the Emperors! And Kaido himself said that we MUST do as he says! So obey his instructions like your life depends on it!"

"Thank you Bean."

"I-It's Babanuki, sir."

"I don't care."

It looks like things are going smoothly when out of nowhere the slaves gather up and form a circle as they refuse to let the guards anywhere near them. Deciding to investigate you jump down and your batwings, which you've been using as a cloak since Marineford unfurl as you glide down. And as you land the people down there get to also notice your black arm. They start whispering something along the lines of "yokai" or "bakemono".

"Is there a problem?"
A rather diminutive old grampa covered in blue tattoos steps forth with his arms crossed.
"You the boss?"

"I just speak for my fellows. And we refuse to participate in whatever twisted game this is. If you want to torture us just get it over with."

"Hmmm."
You raise your hand and point at the old man, which makes every one of them twitch from fear. They almost rush you as your black arm extends and reaches for the grampa but the guards to stop them thankfully. Then your fingers wrap around his collar and squeeze down on the iron. The slave collar promtply explodes but your dark willpower keeps it contained so the old man is left unharmed. He looks shocked as your arm leaves him and he realizes he's free.
"Believe me now?"

"A-Ah..."

"You-"
Pointing at a guard you beckon him closer.
"Get this old guy some food. He's all skin and bones."

"B-But that's our food!"

"You don't like not eating? Should've thought of that sooner. Now give him your food. You can live one day without it."

As the old man is handed a single bowl of red bean soup, which might just be the biggest meal he had in probably years, he looks at you in utter befuddlement.
"I-Is this genuine?"

"Yes. Eat."

"And... what happens after?"

"What are you? Stupid? I already said. You're free to go."

"Go? Go where? Our nation, our home is in ruins. It's not any better out there than in here! Not as long as Orochi rules-"

You lean in close and start whispering in his ears.
"You haven't heard this from me. But that guy is dead. I killed him."
Then you pat him on the shoulder.
"Now eat."

He's left stunned. Too stunned to even answer as his fellows start bombarding him with questions. You smirk as you leave. However as you do your ears pick up something. Two things in fact. One is a voice calling out for you, by name. It's a voice you're familiar with. And hearing it is making you feel even giddier than you already were. The other is coming from a cell that remains locked. From within you can hear a faint, weak whisper coming. It says "Lies. Don't believe his lies.". Both intrigue you a bit.

Yeah. Exactly. He doesn't care. He's just being coy

So who we see first?

Useless Midd or Kappa man?

Actually, would Kawamatsu still consider himself a fishman island native?

How would he react to the wedding? Minus the fact we work with Kaido

It's unlikely. Or if he was he was too little for it. When he washed up on Wano he was very little
>>
>>5637181
Just looked it up and just says him and his mother washed up on wano and got attacked by some humans and as his mother was dying she told him about the fishman racism and to only refer to himself as a kappa, so even if he was from fishman island doubt he'd ever have considered it home really since he'd have left it while still incredibly young

Hmmmm, wonder if we should introduce him to Fishy

That might actually convert him lol

Speaking of not caring, gotta give it to Spooks here with how Silver's mannerisms have changed since Eliza's death. He has been calm, cold even and almost certainly apathetic... The old mask slipped off and he simply hasn't bothered to put it back on again.
Only thing which broke it was during the battle under the sea, with him and Kaido just plain enjoying themselves.
>>
>>5637195
Thank you

Lets hope we get too see more of it later

I feel even if he acts like he isn't mad, Silver is genuinely heartbroken about this.

He outright stated he would trade away all the power he gained to have her back.

Wonder if he will finally let loose at the funeral.

Well, both warrant a little investigation. But you suppose that the immediate matter is the loud one not locked behind bars. You wait in place for him to approach you and act like you're surprised.
"Cavalier! Wait! Wait for me you bastard!"

"Oh hi Kidd. What's up?"
You were expecting him to show up wearing Kaidos ridiculous bondage gear that he calls a uniform. But no. He has a collar wrapped tightly around his neck.
"Oooh. Infiltrating Kaidos place pretending to be a slave. Very smart."

"Quit being snarky with me and get this thing off me!"

"One sec. Got something to check out. Wanna come with?"

"If it releases me faster then sure. Also what's going on? Kaido changing plans or something? Has he given up on recruiting me?"

"That's what he was doing?"

"Yeah. That's what he does. He beats the shit out of you, kills all the weaklings and puts the strong in chains until they wisen up and bend the knee before him. That's why I'm here. Thanks for THAT by the way!"

"What? Why are you thanking me?"

"Because it's you why I ended up in here! Remember when I asked if I could use your place to organize my attack on the Yonko? We had to do it at the ass end of nowhere because you refused! We were in the middle of discussing our plan to murder Red Hair when out of nowhere that monster dropped out of the sky on top of us! Turns out that sum-bitch Apoo was working for Kaido all along and ratted us out!"

"You don't say. And who's that?"

"A-Apoo? Scratchman Apoo! Remember? Keyboard for teeth?"

"Ah him."

"Yeah. I'm surprised you haven't met him. Working Kaido and all that. Anyway I've been rotting in this shithole since then. Worked to death. Kaido's goons been trying to recruit me ever since. Killer, my second in command, had to sign up just to save my life. So after I'm out of here I'm getting him and I'm coming after that boss of yours, no matter what he got planned for me."

"Uh-huh. Sure. What did you say when did this all happen?"

"Huh? Like right after we met."

"I see. Well two things about that. One, I'm not working for Kaido. Second, feel free to go after him. But you won't beat him in a million years. Anyway, we're here. So stand back a little."

You look at the cell in the wall that you heard the other voice coming from and peer inside. Unfortunately it's too dark in there to make anything out. But you do make out a faint heartbeat. And it belongs to someone pretty strong. The two guards standing in front of it are getting pretty nervous as you look at them.
"E-Erm sir? Please leave the area immediately. It's dangerous! Kaido ordered us never to open it up."

"Y-Yeah. We even have to debone the raw, toxic fish we feed the prisoner inside because he kept killing us with the bones!"

"Noted."
You replay and point your hand at the door.
"Now move."

Your arm extends and its fingers spread out to wrap around the bars of the cell before ripping the whole thing out of the wall alongside some of the rock that it was attached to. This causes small bits of the hillside to collapse and fall down but your arm spreads out and catches the debris before setting it all aside. Kidd just watches this in disbelief.
"What... is that?"

"Haki."
You step into the dark where your ears take over as your primary sensory organs. Scanning the room you realize what you're dealing with. A fish-man. At least that explains why it was deemed too dangerous.
"Hello."

"So. Kaido found someone to do his dirty deeds. Do what you will. But know when you fail your master will be just as kind to you as he was to the others."
Your arm stretches out again and crushes the chains binding his hands and feet to the wall.
"What?"

"I hear you kill people with fish bones. You did that with your mouth?"

"Yes."

"Not bad."

"Hmph. Thank you. But you should see what I can do with a sword."

You raise an eyebrow at him.
"That sounded almost like a threat."

"You're sharp. Kappapa. I assure you if I had my sword with me we wouldn't be having this conversation. Your master would be down one man and I'd be on my way to kill him next."

"Alright. I accept that challenge."

"Huh?"

"You wanna eat before that? I could offer you an egg if you want it. Or there's soup out there if that's more your thing."

"Are you trying to insult me? I don't need your charity!"

"Have it your way then."
You reach for Argent and draw the sword before stabbing it down before the fish-man.
"There. You can use that."

"Is... is this a joke?"

"No. That comes later. Now go ahead."

The fish-man stares at you for a moment before he bursts out laughing.
"Kappapa! I admit, I misjudged you stranger! For a pirate you do seem to have the honor of a samurai. I, Kawamatsu the Kappa, promise that I won't kill you for the spirit you've shown me. Now, prepare thy-"
But as soon as he touches the sword the blade, which permanently blackened after it gorged itself on your residual haki, roars to life. A purple-ish black mist emanates from it and Kawamatsu looks like he just witnessed the death of everything he ever held dear.
"H-Huh?"
He looks down and only realizes now that he reflexively pulled his hand away already.
"T-Tha-Wha-"

The frog starts gulping as he's choking on his own words.
"What's wrong? Pick it up."
You step closer to him.
"Pick. It. Up."
He just stares at you blankly so you draw Argent from the ground, flip it around so you hold it by the blade and present its handle to Kawamatsu.
"No?"
He throws up.
"Thought so."

"SIR!"
The two guards that were outside rush in.
"We heard a commotion! What happened?"

"Nothing. It was just a practical joke. Unlock the cuffs of these two and give them some food and fresh water. They earned it."

"Y-Yes sir!"

"By the way. Now that we discussed your shortcomings let me make one thing very clear to both of you. Though I did say you're free to do anything that doesn't mean there won't be any consequences. If either of you try to kill Kaido that's your business. But know that I won't just sit by if someone attacks one of my underlings. I hope I made myself clear."

"WHAT?!"
Kidd roars.

"E-Excuse me?"
And Kawamatsu is in disbelief.

"Cut the shit Cavalier! There is no way you're a god damn Emperor! And if you think I'll believe for a second that Kaido is YOUR underling then you've lost what little mind you had!"

"One of those is correct. Because I did not kill Big Mom and subjugated Kaido just to be called a mere Emperor."
Both of their eyes widen in disbelief.
"Oh and Kidd. If you want to call me by my pirate name then it's "Black Hand" now. I talked about it with Morgans. The new posters will be released shortly. Cavalier is my first name now. Just thought I mentioned. And if you still want to be an Emperor then I think Blackbeard and Red Hair are still options. Just know that I'll be coming after you if you manage to usurp any of them. As for you fish-man, you will never, ever be able to kill Kaido. Better make peace with that now. Anyway, enjoy your freedom. Your men are free to go as well Kidd. Cheers."

they're currently in wano, though without kaido there obviously its been completely different from what happened in canon
>>
For one, Luffy likely never got captured

So they are all probably in Oden castle or such.

Meaning unless Old man shows up, Luffy is not likely to get his armanent training or such.

With Orochi dead, Ashura Doji won't likely join since Yasuie won't become a matyr.

And that means Hiyori won't meet Zoro in hiding since she won't have to fake her death.

Also, a lot less rebels will be joining for the attack, as now they have no reason too since Luffy didn't get a chance to inspire them, and with Orochi dead, things will be getting better.
>>
I'm genuinely surprised Morgans agreed to something as simple as "Black Hand". You'd think he'd push for something subtle like "Monstrum" or "Satan himself"
Cavalier "legends end" Silver would sell a lot of papers methinks

>>
You turn around on your heel and leave the two dumbfounded men behind. Understandably it's a bit of a tough pill to swallow that they stood in the presence of the man who beat the strongest creature in the world. Kawamatsu reconciled this impossibility rather quick, if only to justify the irrational fear he was feeling. But Kidd is a different story. For whatever reason, perhaps to prove something to himself or out of sheer befuddlement, he runs after you and pulls you back by the shoulder.

"Hold on a minute Cavalier! Just where do you think you're going? You think you can just go like we're done talking?!"

"I can. And we are. Or is there something else you wanted? I gave you back your freedom, your crew. What else- Oh. Those poneglyphs you need. Right. Tell you what, make me a good enough offer and you can take a copy of them. I don't need it anyway."

"What?"
Kidd stares at you before grabbing you by the collar.
"Are you making fun of my dream you little shit?!"

"Oh no no no. Never. I'm mocking you. But the offer is genuine. If you want it."
Kidd growls at you as you look back at him with a cold, uncaring eye.
"You remember our last meeting in Outer Heaven. What did I tell you? That you will not succeed. And look at what happened. I was right. First you lost your arm. Now your dignity along with your freedom. And yet you still haven't learned your lesson."

"And what would that be huh? What would a moron like you know that I don't?!"

"That you're not a winner. Your victories are incidental and short lived. "Supernova". Fitting name. You flash bright for a moment then turn into a dim little speck. And all that's because of what you are. A loser, a bully, a coward. You aren't playing to win. You want to make your enemy loose. You don't rise to face the challenge head on but drag your foe down to the dirt with you where you tear it apart with all the other pigs you gathered. You're not contributing to the world, you're working to make it less. You could lie, cheat and backstab your way all the way to the One Piece and crown yourself king. But all it'd take is one man to show up who's genuinely worthy of it to put you back where you belong. The dirt."

"WHY YOU-"

"Go ahead. Hit me. But I'm warning you, unlike Kaido I don't have a habit of collecting weaklings. And unlike Red Hair I'm not merciful. Try me and the thing I'm ripping off will be your head."
Kidd’s grasp loosens until you fall on your feet. He's looking at you dead in the eye and his whole being is shaking.
"Come on. This is your opportunity. Your one chance. You, me, one on one, now. What will it be? What's it going to be "Captain"? Will you live up to your name for once? Or will you run with your tail between your legs until you can get a few meatshields between you and me? The end result will be the same. Except in one you'll get a headstone instead of a mass grave."

There is a moment of silence when an ill wind blows between the two of you. The frog fish-man stares at you like he's expecting a storm to erupt any moment. Yet that doesn't happen as Kidd turns around and shows his back to you.
"Tch. What a load of bull. Seems like you got a bit stuck up since last time we met Cavalier or "Black Hand" or whatever stupid name you pick for yourself next. You forgot one thing... there is no such thing as a fair fight between pirates."

"I know. Fighting me is quite unfair."

"Whatever. Just remember. Not everyone in the world will roll over for you. So you better watch your back."

Kidd then takes his leave, ignoring the food that's being given out in favor of finding his men, some of whom are probably still in here somewhere. And as you watch him walk away Kawamatsu manages to shake off his terror enough to speak.
"What was that?"

"What we pirates call a debate."

"You looked ready to murder each other."

"That would be a heated debate."
You look at him and see that he managed to steady himself pretty well despite his malnourished state. And it's obvious that despite your earlier demonstration he's still pretty willing to fight if necessary.
"Relax. I had my fair share of bloodshed for a while. Despite what I said I do respect him to a degree. He's a man of conviction, who'd kill you if you insulted his aspirations. I can't let my guard down around him."

"That's a relief. For a moment I thought that my homeland fell into the hands of someone even worse than Kaido."
He relaxes a bit but he does not lower his guard.
"May I be so forward as to make an inquiry."

"Depends... what does inquiry mean?"

"U-Uh. I mean I have a question."

"Shoot."

"What will happen now to the land of Wano?"

"Same thing as here. They are free."

"Yes but what does that mean? Who will govern the people? Will you let the rightful shogun take back his position?"

That's gonna be up to you. But suffice to say I have a feeling Wano is about to take some serious sengoku jidai inspiration
>>
“Huh? Are you talking about Orochi?”

“No, of course not. Orochi was nothing but a usurper, a puppet placed on the top by Kaido. Well… it is true that he climbed to that spot himself. But were it not for the oni-dragon nobody would’ve tolerated him as Shogun for more than a day. He stole the seat from the rightful heir you see. With him gone the lord of the Kozuki family can reclaim what was lost!”

“Huh? Yeah, sure I guess. But he better not be just another Orochi. I don’t have time to clean up trash like that on the regular.”

“Normally I’d have to force you to apologize for even insinuating that our lord is anything like that vile Orochi! But I understand your concern. Rest assured Lord Momonosuke has a noble soul, just like his father.”

“Uh-huh. Good. Then as long as he knows his place and does as he’s told.”

“Excellent! Most excellent kappapa-ah? I’m sorry sir, what did you say?”

“What did it sound like? This island is Mine. How you want to manage it is not my concern. Do as you wish. But what I say, you do. If I say jump you jump. If I say give me ship and men, you ask how many. I’m not a demanding man but if you fall short of my expectations I’ll put someone in charge who won’t. Got that?”

“U-Uh… I understand kapapa…”

“Good. I’m glad I could make myself clear! Now if you’ll excuse me, I'm tired of this dump. Uhhh you go ahead and get some food over there before leaving. See ya.”

Your wing-cape unfurls and a jet of flame shoots out from the leathery membrane, propelling you high into the air in an instant like a reverse comet. You go from one factory to the next, giving the same speech you did in the first one but those facilities failed to provide you with any meaningful distractions so you got them over with quick and moved on. But there were still a LOT of factories which did explain the state of the country's pollution somewhat. Hopefully with the factories shut down that won’t be an issue anymore. Still, when you finally got back to Onigashima you were dead tired with a thick layer of soot and ash clinging to your skin and outfit. The sliding door to the hall where your crew were relaxing opened before you as you stepped through.

“I need a shower.”

“Oh welcome back Silver!”

“Hi Jaws. How are things?”

“Eh. We’re managing. Everybody is busy handling the mess you made.”

“What do you mean?”

“Look at all these letters!”
He points at a mountain of paper next to you.

“Oh yeah. I was wondering when did Tiny turn into a snowman.”

“He’s examining the local forges. Apparently he found something interesting enough to study. Those are all the letters that flooded in once word of your upcoming wedding started to spread. They are all letters either wishing you the best or trying to suck up to you.”
>>
So Hreki found Seastone or something else impressive?
>>
“Ah. Well throw them in the trash.”

“No. That’d be rude. It’s only natural that they’d want to get in the good graces of the most dangerous man in the world, especially since he’s about to get married. But you’re right in one thing. We should take a break.”

Marcella falls over backwards.
“Mah tongue ish sho dry!”

“How about we join you for that bath? This place has some wonderful onsen made to accommodate even giants.”

You have no objections so Murray gathers everyone and you communally visit the onsen. Sadly they don’t really have any unisex ones and some of the girls are not as open to the idea of sharing a bath with the rest of the crew as the more seasoned ones. With the men and women going their separate ways you enter the place with your towels and floaties for the Devil Fruit users.

As everyone enters the pool you sit down and let your weary bones rest a bit. But you can’t quite relax as you let out a hiss after the hot water touches the more sensitive spots. Murray notices this and gets curious.
“How are the scars?”

“They sting.”

“Gyogyogyo. And here I thought you are invincible.”

“It’s still flesh. And I want to feel pain so I don’t protect myself all the time. Don’t want to end up like Kaido.”

“Makes sense. And how are you otherwise? We haven’t sat down and just talked in what feels like ages. You holding up?”

“I’m fine Murray. Fine as ever.”

“Yeah right.”
Gu chimes in.
“That slip-up with the name isn’t a dead giveaway.”

“Listen bro. We’ve been by your side for years now. We can tell when something’s off. Anything you want to get off your chest?”

“We’re always here if you need to talk lad.”

“Yes-yes!”

“Worororo! And I’m here too. Don’t mind me.”

“WHEN DID HE GET HERE?!”

Uncertainty doesn't really fit this new Silver.
>>
>>5640666
>I feel like shit. Not gonna lie.

The sheer amount of "NO" he experienced from Eliza's death made his heart and soul reach out and try to rewrite the world around him. And that kind of stress or, dare I call it trauma, doesn't just disappear overnight.

But I agree, doubt doesn't really fit Silver. Never has.
>>
>>5640672
The way i think of it personally is that when eliza died silver got hit by a sort of bolt of clarity, like could call it shock i suppose but he's looking at the situation from a more objective position then he normally does, like yeah of course eliza dying is devastating for him but he also realizes that those emotions do nothing now, so he's just got to accept those emotions and move on, and with his new strength not let it happen again, though i do feel if he underwent another tragedy like that again that shit might break him, thinking he's at the top of the world rn but seeing that ppl he cares about can still die would majorly fuck with him and his world view i feel
>>
>>5640678
He was at the top of the world when Eliza died anon, he had just become an emperor and proposed to Shirahoshi and then suddenly BAM his mother figure's getting executed. It doesn't get much rougher than that unless Outer Heaven exploded with everyone still in it, it's perfectly fine and reasonable for Silver to still be feeling like crap after all that.

>>
>>5640680
the "im fine, really" option, doesn't mean he doesn't feel anything, he's already said it devastated it, it just means he's accepted those emotions and is moving on, which i feel he would do after the Problem that caused elizas death (that being him being weak) is resolved, like if eliza died and he didn't get the power up i think it'd have fucked him up way more
>>
>>5640690
Yea, but Silver isn't good at "moving on"
his entire belief system, reason to be and all that good stuff is all based on just how deeply rooted Amble still is.
>>
>>5640690
And well silver wasn't at the top of the world b4 elizas death, he was a new fish in the big boi leagues, his empire was still new and finding its footing and silver was probably the weakest yonko out of BB, shanks and kaido, but rn we control the unquestioned strongest empire in the world and are probably one of the strongest characters in the world, maybe only beaten out by em or dragon
>>
>>5640693
I mean, BB is pretty weak..

Like, dude is without a doubt weakest Emperor, he couldn't even fight a half dead Newgate, needing his crew to deliver the final blow.

And Silver literally recruited an existing Yonko Crew into his own.

It's more that Silver was just green then weak, he had yet to cement his rule and opportunity was in the water.

Now? Everyone knows trying their luck against his is suicide.
>>
>>5640699
We really peddling the "BB is actually super weak guys" thing? like we haven't properly seen BB fight post time skip, and we all know powers shifted from it, and even then BB showing at marineford wasn't that bad, its more that BB got cocky and grabbed by WB which i don't think theres anyone in the entire series that'd WANT to be on the opposite end of one of WBs gura gura attacks point blank, and then afterwards managed to fight sengoku evenly until shanks arrived
>>
Well Silver says he's okay

Law needed Kids help to beat Big Mom

We beat Big Mom at her best by ourselves

My man im not about to get into like a power scaling debate, that has never ended well, but to think BB is super weak is the stupidest thing imagineable to do

Also funny that basically Akoji's new 'resolve' is basically what Silver thinks

“I’m fine.”
You give them a casual reply.
“Really I am. I simply lost. That’s all.”
There’s a somber moment of silence after that.
“And I know what I always said. I never lose. Because losing means death. But I’m not going to lie to myself. I lost. And a piece of me did die. Yeah. That’s how it feels.”
Your black arm raises out of the water but it does not drip, instead the water escapes as steam as the pressure that its proximity exerts causes it to evaporate immediately.
“But now I’m stronger. Much stronger. I won’t let anyone do that to me ever again.”

Kaido nods in approval.
“Good. And you all should stop worrying about him! I mean just look! The kind of pressure he experienced would normally crush a man. Instead it made a shining diamond! It simply brings a tear to my eye.”

“WHAT BRINGS A TEAR TO YOUR EYE IS YOUR CONSTANT DRINKING!”
Everyone shouts at Kaido who almost drops his gourd in the pool.

“Sigh. Well if you’re certain Silver then that’s fine too. We were just worried about you because it seems like you… changed.”

“I did Jaws. But don’t worry. I’ll go back to how I was once I feel like it. But for now, this is fine.”

“Uh. Far be it from me to tell you what to do but if you feel this way then… why did you go through with the wedding? Seems a bit out of place for the uh, “new you” don’t you think?”

“Not really Toxin. I made a promise. I intend to keep it. And it’ll be a good way to unwind. I still need to relax after all.”

“Right.”

The others start talking among themselves, they even start playing waterball, which is a type of ball game played using fish-man karate to make a ball out of solid water. At some point Will and Gu start discussing plans for spying on the female baths but they get quickly shut down by Murray who tries to keep your crew at least a little dignified. But for some reason you can’t bring yourself to join them in their shenanigans right now. Instead you start leaning back and submerge yourself completely in the shallow water, wondering how long can you force the water away from your body with sheer willpower. It feels oddly refreshing being able to submerge yourself again in water, if only for a little while and only in a puddle. But once you feel like your reserves of stamina are running out you burst out from the pool and swipe back your hair.
“Sigh…”

“Hmmmm? Were you thinking about something?”

“Yeah. But it’s not important.”
You look over at the figure who was asking a question from you when you realize the voice did not belong to any of your friends.
“Oh. Hi Yamato. Been a while.”

Everyone else freaks out when they hear that.

Thanks for the run as always.
Honestly, I think Silver might just need time to process everything that happened. It isn't really fair to say he lost when he had no possible way to know about the Seraphim and their capabilities, everything was basically over in a flash. But between the crew, Nutmeg, Sandersonia and how mushy Shirahoshi likely gets from dead maternal figures, I don't think they're gonna let it go that easy.

Oh God, I forgot just how this is going to look in her eyes.
A day after arriving and the streets will be full of freed slaves singing our praise.
Poor girl was already starstruck as it is.

"WHOAWHOAWHOA! Why is there a chick in here?"

"What's wrong Bullseye? I thought you're used to bathing with girls."

"Bro! Ann, Marcy, Clown and Angel are totally different things!"

"Worororo! There's no need to freak out little shrimp. Yamato keeps calling herself a man so it's okay."

"That doesn't even make sense you brick shithouse! I mean look at those massive-"
Will has to turn away because his nose erupts in a torrent of blood.

"Worororo!"

"Correct! There's nothing to be ashamed of little man! It's as my father said! I am Kozuki Oden! A man!"
Yamato stares in Will's direction and blinks thrice before her jaw unhinges.
"WAAAAAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE YOU SHITTY OLD MAN?!"

Greki starts scratching his head at this.
"I don't understand. The man is almost half my size. How come nobody notices him?"

"WORORORO! It's because I'm a fish! I can't be seen in water!"

"SHUT UP YOU DRUNK BASTARD!"
Now everyone shouts at him.

Meanwhile you're looking at Yamato who appears to be completely frozen and you wave your hand in front of her eyes.
"Hello? Earth to Yamato. Anyone home?"

"Uh... yeah. Excuse me. I heard you came here so I thought I'd jump in and say hi. Didn't think I'd find my fucking father here though!"

You look at the big man.
"Kaido. We cool?"

"Yes sir!"

"He says he's cool. So no need to worry about that."

"That's NOT the point!"
Yamato shouts.
"Why is he HERE, with YOU, specifically? Since when did you get all buddy buddy with him?!"

"Since I beat his ass."

"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..."
Yamato simply zones out, which gives you ample opportunity to prod her massive, jiggly melons.

"Heh. Boob. You know I was always confused as to why you smelled like a woman. I thought you were just some okama. It's cool though, boobs I mean, I also had them once. Sometimes I do miss them. So we can still be friends."

"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..."

"WORORORO! Look at her! I haven't seen her this flustered since I tied each of her limbs to a horse and had them run in different directions!"

"C-Care to repeat that?"
Yamato looks at you with clouded and unfocused eyes.
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?"

"Yes. I beat your dad in a one on one fight. Now he does as I say."

"Do you not believe me? Want a demonstration?"

You look at Kaido who's still laughing his ass off while chugging more and more sake.

Without any warnings you reach under the water and grab hold of Yamatos *ahem* cuffs before bringing them above the water. This unsolicited handholding session does manage to snap her out of her fugue state however.

“H-Hey! What are you doing?!”

“Kaido. I seem to remember faintly what these are doing on your kid. But I can’t remember the fine details. Care to enlighten me?”

“Sure. I put those on Yamato to prevent her from pursuing those silly dreams of hers about leaving the country and sailing the seas.”

“And how do these stop her from leaving?”

“They explode.”

“And I assume they do the same if someone tries to take them off.”

“Correct.”

“And how would you feel if I removed it?”

“Obviously I’d be pretty pissed about you butting in on how I decide to raise my own child…”

“And what can you do about it?”

Kaido remains silent and after you grin your arm morphs so it covers the entirety of the cuffs. One moment later they start crumpling like paper. The detonation which Kaido mentioned does happen but what would’ve been an explosion that could level half of a city made no more noise than the smallest of firecrackers detonating underwater. What few shards remain of the cuffs you toss aside and look Yamato straight in the eye, yet she can’t bring herself to look at you as she’s more focused on rubbing her obviously chafed wrists.

“Welcome to my world. Do as you please.”
You lean back and start resting once more.

The others, except Kaido and Yamato of course, keep alternating between looking at Yamato and Kaido, one of whom is just unable to form words as she looks at her now free wrists, and the other who is well on his way to getting more wasted than what was thought humanly possible. Finally Yamato looks like her sanity has been stretched so thin she could snap at any moment and with gritted teeth she shouts at her father.

“Y-You mean to tell me… that was for REAL?! Hah… HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! A-And I half-thought you were joking when you said it would explode! I guess that shows just WHAT KIND OF A FATHER YOU REALLY ARE! YOU SCUM!”

Kaido finishes chugging from his gourd before loudly belching and looking at Yamato.
“What did you expect? My only child, my heir got it into her head that she’s a man named Kozuki Oden and that she’d leave for the seas. If I had to choose between that and blowing you to bits I’d choose the latter every ti-”

But before he could finish that you glare at him and he stops.
“Enough.”

“S-Sorry…”

“Kaido. Normally I’d kill someone who treats their family like this. Be grateful that I’m holding back myself and shut up. Yamato. Continue.”

“All my life… I NEVER got anything from you my entire life other than pain! Tell me! Why WOULDN’T I leave?! Remember when you chained me up in a hole without any food? Or when you forbade me from learning how to read?! When I declared myself as Kozuki Oden you beat me within an inch of my life! And almost every day since then I’ve been brutally assaulted by you and your men! So no… you never were and never will be my father!”

“SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!”
Kaido, going against your orders, snaps and throws his jug at Yamato but it just barely misses her head before scattering on the ground.
“It seems you really don’t understand a thing, brat! My child, my life’s blood declares herself a man, as the man who was my ENEMY! And you thought I’d simply take that lying down?! That day I decided that I’d beat those foolish ideas out of your head, child!”

“AND SO BECAUSE THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN YOU DECIDED TO IMPRISON ME FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE?!”

“I DECIDED TO SPARE YOUR MISERABLE, WRETCHED LIFE! I could’ve killed you for your insolence, instead I chose you to be the future Shogun of Wano so you may serve my interests if you wouldn’t be my heir! But all I got for not having the heart to kill my own child is more insolence from you!”

Suddenly as tensions between the two oni get to a boiling point the water in the bath starts violently tossing and turning and the floor of the onsen cracks. You raise your hand to your mouth and blow into it hard enough to make everyone cover their ears from the pain.
“Enough. Both of you. This is a bath. Have some manners. Now Kaido, I won’t warn you again. The only reason I haven’t jumped you yet is because I’m almost as pissed at Yamato as you. So behave.”

The dragon-oni looks like he heard your message loud and clear, even if he doesn’t like it. But Yamato is not too happy about what she just heard.
“What?! Mad at me? Are you hearing yourself! He’s a despicable monster while I am the noble samurai Kozuki Oden! How could you say that we are equal in any way?!”

“That. That is why I’m angry. What you’re saying is pissing me off. I’m Kozuki Oden this, I’m Kozuki Oden that.”

“W-What’s wrong with that?!”

“You’re rejecting who you are. That’s why…”
You look at Yamato
“You use someone else’s name and discard your own. I can not respect any being like that. Because you have no idea what it’s like not to have an identity of your own.”

“Let me ask you something. Why do you care? He’s only your father.”

“Yes. Only my father. And not one day passes when I don’t feel sick knowing that his blood is coursing through my veins, especially when I witness the atrocities that he’s responsible for!”

“Okay. You hate him. But you’re not him. You’re not Kaido. You’re not responsible for his actions-”

“AND WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? SIT IDLY BY AND WATCH HIM DO ALL THAT?!”

“No. But that’s not the point I’m making. My point is that the only thing that matters is who you are. You’re not Kaido. You’re not Kozuki Oden. You’re Yamato, the one and only. You’re rejecting your own identity, the only one you have.”

“Yes! Because I hate it! How is that hard for you to get? I hate that shitty old man and I wish with every fiber of my being that I could be someone else! When I saw Kozuki Oden and learned how great of a man he was I knew I wanted to be like him! And you don’t get to lecture me when you have no idea what he was like! If you did-”

“I don’t know what he was like. But I know what he is. Dead. He’s someone who lost and died as a result.”

“That’s not true! That scum did not beat Oden! He-”

“He got tricked by Orochis minions. I heard. Kaido told me and he couldn’t stop crying about it as he did. Now let me ask you something. That Oden guy fought your dad with all his might and he got pretty beat up before he was bamboozled. What did he achieve before that? One scar. He was one foot in the grave and he managed to scratch Kaido. Face it, he was never going to win. The one that was robbed of anything there was Kaido of a good fight. Trust me on this, I know his strength more than anyone, even you.”

“B-but-”

“But that’s still not the point. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be better. But that’s not what you want. You want to be someone else. Look at me. I took my mothers name because I wanted to be like her. But you don’t call yourself Kozuki Yamato. You call yourself Kozuki Oden. That’s beyond stupid, not to mention disgusting.”
Yamato looks like her whole world is collapsing in front of her right now. But you’re not done yet. Now you go in for the killing blow.
“And that’s the reason why you haven’t beaten your father after all these years. If you tried to get better you may have succeeded. Instead you were copying a failure.”

At this she jumps out of the water and punches you in the face. On contact black sparks fly off from your skin and you start tumbling in the water. You get up and wipe the blood from your nose.
“Am I wrong?”

“What do you know about me? What do you know about hating what you are?”

“More than you realize. I was a nothing, a nobody, stripped of everything that makes a man. And I built myself up from that.
>>
Having said your piece you sit back where you were.
“So I guess that means you have a choice to make now. After all, that’s what freedom means. You can keep doing what you’ve been doing all this time, go out to sea and have your adventure just like you wanted. Or you can finally get serious and stop playing games.”

She stands there with all her naked bits on display before she slumps down where she stood and splashes some hot water on her face.
“I… I really wanted to be the one to beat my father even though I knew I couldn’t do it. And I wanted to be anything other than the Oni Princess, you know.”

“Then you should’ve worked towards that.”
She seems to have fallen silent. It’s quite clear that she’s in deep contemplation so you turn your attention to Kaido who seems to be in a similar position, if a bit more conflicted.
“Now it’s your turn. Got anything to add to that?”

His first instinct is to search for his club which he left at the side of the bath and then he bashes himself in the face to sober up.
“Ugh… Ow my head. Hmph. I’m not going to apologize for what I did. Any of it. I simply did what I believed to be the best. My goal was either to break your stupid habits, or to make you strong through the ordeal. And… well at least you got strong, strong enough to be worthy of the name Kozuki Oden I’d say.”

“Thank you father. I appreciate it greatly.”
She says, her words drip with sarcasm.

“But before you condemn me. Have you ever considered how I felt? My little daughter started spouting one day how she’s Kozuki Oden, one of my enemies. My own men started talking behind my back about how you looked up to Oden more than me! How else was I supposed to react? Betrayal stings worse than salt on a wound, you know.”

“I’m sorry father. I simply didn’t have the opportunity to consider your feelings on the matter. When the growling of my stomach and my aching bruises occupied my mind.”

The two fall silent and don’t look at each other. Murray then approaches you and taps your shoulder.
“I think we should leave. This is their business, not ours.”

“Yeah. You’re right. Guys, we’re moving out. Let’s give these two some room.”

“Oh come on!”

“Yeah, seriously?”

“No back-talk! Now come on.”

After leaving the bath some of the guys decided to find a public one that’s open at this hour but you didn’t feel like it. Instead you kept an ear slightly focused at Kaido and Yamatos location in case you started hearing clubs getting banged together. But thankfully no such thing has happened. In fact the two did not exchange a single word during that time and remained there in silence. You assume both of them were waiting for the other to leave first. In the end you don’t know what exactly happened between the two of them because you went to sleep afterwards.

The next morning however you received a sealed letter after breakfast, which asked you to go to an orchard of cherry trees. You accepted the invitation and headed there after your meal where you came face to face with none other than Yamato.
“Well, what’s all this then?”

“I couldn’t bring myself to talk to my father.”

“I understand. I wouldn’t either. Despite what I said yesterday I am still on your side in this matter. And were it up to me I would’ve killed him for what he did.”

“Why didn’t you?”

“I’m tired of peoples parents getting killed.”

“I’m not sure I understand but I’m glad you came regardless. There is something I must do before I feel like I could move on. I was hoping you could help me with it.”

“Sure.”

“Thanks.”
Yamato brandishes her club and transforms into some sort of dog-human hybrid.
“I want to fight you.”

“But why?”

“I simply need to know the difference between us.”
She shifts her leg and winds up with her whole body for a swing. You remain as you are and wait for her to make her move.
“RAIMEI HAKKE!”

She charges you with her club raised high as she uses her fathers attack. You decide to take it head on and the moment her attack connects with your face you throw out a punch and hit her in the gut as she passes by. She lands several yards behind you and for a moment both of you stand perfectly still.

“Black Voice.”
She falls to her knees in pain.
“That was not bad. It’s almost exactly like your dads. But it lacks some weight.”
You close up one of your nostrils and blow some blood out the other.
“Give it a few years and you’ll surpass him.”

“Pant. Pant. How… how did you do that? Where did you find that strength?”

“You’d be amazed how much power you have once you stop denying your true self.”
You walk over to her and offer her your hand.
“Let me help you find yours.”

"Ow yeah!"
Today is a glorious day for Scratchman Apoo.

"We love you Apoo!"

"And I love you babes! Check this shit out!"
He turns one of his arms into a saxophone and improvises a solo for the adoring crowd. The ladies in there go wild and the men seethe with jealousy but they still can't help but admire his skills in making music. It's always a pleasure returning to Kaidos territory, as it gives him a pop-stars welcome and allows him to cavort with those that seek his favor or that of his superiors. But today is different. Instead of a wall of fans, all vying for his autograph he is greeted by a row of waiters, those in Kaidos crew who are still waiting for their chance at a smile.

"Scratchman Apoo! We were waiting for you. Come with us. The boss wishes to speak with you."

"Eh me? Okay! If Kaido wants to speak with me then of course I'll go!"

The waiters smirk but he makes nothing of it. Why would he? Nobody is foolish enough to speak in the Hundred Beasts name. So he follows the waiters as they lead him to a chamber within the palace. Inside, instead of a lavish welcoming party or even just a seat, he finds not one but two of his "comrades". One of them shares his rank, the other is technically his superior. But they all share common origins and so their relationship is a bit more casual than one might expect.
"Drake! Hawkins! What's poppin' my guys? Did the captain call for you too? Man, small world isn't it?"
He grinned, with his piano shaped teeth showing clearly. He was happy. Them being here means whatever is about to happen affects all of them. And that could mean only one thing. Promotion. He's been eyeing Drakes position as Tobi Roppo for a while now. He must've finally fucked up somehow and one of them is going to take over, if he knows Kaido, and he likes to think he does. Sadly his fellows don't much care for his presence and continue to ignore him.
"Erm... guys?"

Drake was stiff and shivering, yet he was sweating like an elephant seal in the summer heat. Meanwhile Hawkins was absorbed by his divinations like always, but even he was behaving strangely. Well, stranger than usual.
"The Tower in the upright position. Fifty percent. Again."
He shuffled his deck and drew five cards. Apoo wasn't paying attention but it looked to him like Basil drew the exact same cards in the exact same sequence.
"Once more. Fifty percent."

"Eeeeh? What are you on about?"

"No matter what I try to gleam from fate the result is always the same. Fifty percent. Exactly. There is only one exception. Observe. The Fool, the Devil, Judgment, Tower, Death. All upright."

"Uuuuh. In human, please?"

Basil smirked.
"We are in a position of absolute uncertainty. Nothing can be divined. The chance of us surviving this encounter? Fifty percent. Will it be a positive experience? Fifty percent. The only certain thing is that our chance of escape... is zero percent."

"Eh?"

Finally Drake snaps out of his trance and looks at the entrance.
"He's coming!"

But Kaido did not enter through the door as they expected. Instead it was only you. And Apoo was immensely confused.
"Eeeeeh? The hell is he doing here?!"

"Shut... up Apoo!"
Drake ordered him as you walked up to them.

"Welcome friends! It's good that you came. We have business to discuss!"

"Uh yeah, like what kind of business you think you have here Cavalier! Seriously, what's this punk doing here?"

"Apoo I swear if you don't shut your mouth I will feed you my axe!"

You chuckle.
"I'm glad you asked-"

>I heard you all had some problems with matters of loyalty. I'm here to iron that issue out

Also how doesn't apoo know about kaido working for us? like its been weeks and he was actively travelling the scenes, im sures it been reported of by now by morgans, so he prob should already know
>>

Apoo: Fake news
>>
>>5656278
I have a slight feeling the guy might be ever so slightly self infatuated.
>>
>>5656281
Yeah but that has nothing to do with him reading the news paper, and apoo isn't retarded, even if he didn't believe it once he sees us walk out in kaidos territory then atleast it should be a possibility to him, where as rn it just seems he's meant to have no idea at all, like if its just a mistake and spook didn't really think that deeply thats cool but trying to think if theres a logicla reason for it
>>
>>5656285
I would argue that apoo is a bit retarded
>>
>>5656285
I mean let's be honest here.
Us surviving kaido is a mindfuck... Us taking over Kaido's entire operation is beyond belief.
Especially if you've spent most of your time with groupies and fans.
>>
>writing
>>
>>5656315
Yeah and i can totally agree with him not believing, totally logical assumption to make, but when you return to home base and kaidos subordinates say the boss wants to see you and then the guy you've heard taken over the kingdom from reliable news sources suddenly appears in-front of you nonchalant suddenly those rumors come to the forefront of the mind, but as said it just seems apoo hasn't eve heard anything about it, which 100% wouldn't happen, cause i don't doubt morgans has been writting non-stop about every little aspect of the new marineford war especially concerning us
>>
>>5656322
dude was probably too busy drowning in groupies to read the news
>>
"The reason why I gathered you here is because I heard that you all seem to have some loyalty issues. I don't really like that. So we're going to iron things out."

"Excuse me!"
Drake speaks up.
"But I don't believe I should be here. I have not been disloyal! Not once!"

"Weren't you a marine Drake? I don't like marines much but I do like this one saying, "kill a traitor before an enemy". I like that one. And while it's true that I do have a crew member who was a former government agent she did betray me and it did hurt a lot. So I don't want to repeat that, understand? As for you two..."
You return your gaze at Hawkins and Apoo.
"I heard some things about you. A little birdie bound in chains and with his wings broken told me how you two stabbed him in the back. Now I have an idea about how we should handle this matter-"

"If I may speak-"
Now it's Basil Hawkins who interrupts you so rudely.
"-my actions always have been and always will be dictated by fate. I don't deny what I've done. But I served Kaido faithfully because I believed that my chances were best under him. I'll gladly offer the same service to you. Of course if you don't believe yourself to be insurmountable then I'll take my leave to ease your worries."

You stop your speech and glare at the three of them as you lean forward.
"Clever. But you're missing the point."
Drawing Parley you take aim at them.
"Allow me to make myself clear. I want you to all come at me right now so we can get this over with or you can take a boat and row off my island for all I care. Because I don't need nor care about you. You Hawkins are a coward. You count your cards and do whatever they tell you to. And look where they led you. Your nice, safe destiny led you to being a dog on a leash. Apoo, you're a slime who simply sucks up to the biggest people he can find and use them to keep yourself safe. And Drake, you are a strong guy who decided to quietly sneak around and do as he's told like a good boy. I wouldn't trust you even if you didn't smell like a marine. What none of you are, is a pirate. Dogs, weasels and rats but not pirates. And the fact that you made it this far sickens me to my stomach! Now choose! Get on your knees, leave my waters or come at me!"

Their reactions are simply delightful. Hawkins who based his whole life on his precious cards tries frantically to determine what would be the best course of action but they all give him blank results. For the first time since he picked up divination he must make a choice himself. And Drake, Drake looks like someone who knows he has lost and now he's simply trying to make peace with that fact.

But out of all of them you like Apoo the most. Because he's completely oblivious to reality.
"Eeeeh?"
>>
>>5656351
I wouldn't say hawkins betrayed kidd, he met up with him to discuss an alliance and b4 any kind of deal could come through kaido dropped in outta nowhere and pretty much said "join or die" like hawkins had no real obligation to side with kid in that instance
>>
>>5656351
Oh, apoo.
Poor, stupid apoo.
>>
>>5656356
But he didn't even try.
Remember that Silver has a very strange, ironically very romantic view of what a pirate *should* be in his opinion.
Which is a violent anarchist who kills anyone who objects to said violent anarchy.
>>
>>5656361
Yeah im not talking about his view about hawkins as a pirate/man, just saying hawkins had no reason to have any loyalty to kid at all so saying he "betrayed" him seems a tad much
>>
>>5656362
I think its because he bases everything on divination so he never really needs a reason to do anything. He just consults his cards so he is naturally wishy-washy
>>
Let's hope we get to fight soon, my roll withdrawal is through the roof
>>
>>5656371
That might take a while, I'm not sure X Drake, Apoo and Hawkins can give Silver a good fight. If we roll for it it's lilely to be about how kicked their ass is.
>>
"Someone seems to think they're hot shit, huh?"

"Apoo! You fool! What are you doing?! Haven't you read the news?!"

"Drake, I'm currently walking off the hangover from a five day bender. I came here for the afterparty but instead I find this little shitstain that's been harassing us talking like he owns the place."

"Are you NUTS? He fought Kaido and won! He DOES own the place!"

"Hohooo? Really?"

"I know what you're thinking Apoo but listen! He's not like Kaido! Your old trick of taking a shot at him and then groveling won't save you this time!"

"Yeah. You're right. He's not Kaido. Not this shrimp. Which means he's not some freakish dragon monster that can just shrug off everything. DON!"
He abruptly smashes his own chest and an explosion goes off centered around you. In that moment you feel your insides ravaged by the force of the blast.
"KCHAW!"
Then Apoo smacks the dome of his head and you feel as if someone just tried to cut your throat with a sword.
"And that's how the cookie crumbles! So... does that mean I own the place now? Hehehe!"

"Y-You idiot!"

"Thank you for your quick answer."
You speak up from the smoke cloud and rush forward, clasping Apoos mouth shut with your fingers.
"Nice trick with the sound! Even though you're a whimp I guess your fruit is the natural enemy of mine, since it did hurt. But as one musician to another let me show you my music."

A moment later Apoos head pops like a cherry from the intense vibrations. Drake watches in horror as the red mist dissipates before composing himself.
"We're not with him."

"I know. The door is that way."

"Thank you for your generosity..."

As he leaves you bark after him one last time.
"You're still dead if you don't put down the seagull hat."

"It's a sword..."

"And that leaves you. So Hawkins. What's it going to be? Make a choice!"

"I-I-I-"
His shoulders drop as his spirit finally crumbles. It seems that he's utterly incapable of making a decision all on his own.

"Let's go."
You signal for the guards in the room that it's time to leave. But before stepping out of the chamber you look back at Hawkins one last time.
"I give you two days. If you can't decide for yourself I'm taking the first card from your deck and that's what will happen to you. Oh and Hawkins. No pirate ever made it big by trusting fate. You only make it into the history books if you defy it."

Leaving the broken man to think about his future on his own you move on to more pressing matters. Such as the organization of the upcoming festival which coincides with your own wedding. Already the effects of your rule can be felt as the borders of the country have been opened so that supplies can come pouring in. Food, gifts and tribute arrive by the boatloads, many sent by the leaders of far away islands and some plundered by the men under your control. Whilst it's not much to the pirates the local samurai and the peasantry of Wano find themselves in awe of the riches, most of which they don't even recognize. Already the palace is covered in decorations and all the storerooms are bursting with food and drink, to the point that even the rooms that were previously reserved for weapons and ammunition have been filled. You've now reached the point that the excess has to be shipped to the mainland, which is already stirring things up, as the citizens don't know what to make of this unprecedented generosity.

But not everything is going as smoothly as you hoped. In the middle of making some arrangements one of the ninjas who were formerly in Orochis employ approach you bearing some dire news.
"My lord, a moment of your time."

"Would it kill you to call me by name?"

"I'm sorry Silver-sama-"

"Never mind..."

"Our shinobi have noticed a lot of activity in Wano. It appears that the sentimental fools of the nation who remain loyal to the old Shogun are plotting something."

"Okay. And?"

"And uuuh... that means they're probably planning on making a move against you. Lord Orochi had an extensive intelligence network set up in the country so we're pretty sure of that."

"And?"

"And uh. What "and" my lord? I'm not sure how I can make it any more obvious."

"Why should I care?"
When it becomes evident that the ninja doesn't understand what you're saying you facepalm yourself in frustration.
"Okay. Listen! It doesn't matter. In fact I want you to put fliers everywhere in the Capital that say anyone is free to come to Onigashima on the day of the festival! Even the rebel army! We will personally bring them to the island if they ask!"

"W-Why?"

"Don't you question me! Just do as I say!"

"Y-Yes my lord!"

After that's done you continue putting in some work until you get bored by all the supervising and so you decide to take a little break. As you seek a nice place to relax at however your ears pick up something interesting going on in a different part of the palace.

"This sucks! Ever since that new guy took over we can't do anything! We can't even go and shake down the peasants anymore!"

"Awww that just means we can spend more time together Pay-Pay!"

"THAT'S WHY IT SUCKS!"

"Can you kids shut up? Seriously! You guys were just the Tobi Roppo, just some poster boys and girls. But we were the All-Stars! And even we're just sitting on our asses doing nothing now!"

"Shut up Queen you fat fuck! You barely did anything but jerk off in your lab, stuff your face and molest women you pervert!"

"This kid I swear to god! Anyway the worst part is that there is no real alternative to pick either. I mean the dude beat Kaido! Who's gonna compete with that? Jack? King? You guys got any ideas?"

"We already talked things over and we'll keep following Kaido. That means following Silver. You can do whatever you want."

A completely different voice also chimes in.
"I'd talk more carefully if I were you. Word is on the rumor mill is that the boss-man is already culling the force of dissidents and weaklings. Drake already got axed. If he hears this talk of yours he might decide you're next."

A female voice chuckles.
"Who's-Who dear you're a former Cipher Pol agent. If anyone has to fear his position it's you."

"You'd think so but unlike you guys I'm actually stoked working for him. As far as I'm concerned he's a living god. And if that's not enough I'll just use my trump card to get in his good graces."

At this point you decide to enter the room through one of the sliding doors.
"Hello. I was hearing some interesting things and decided to pop in. Hope you don't mind!"

But before anyone else could respond to it you hear a high pitched screaming coming from up above as one of the figures in the room jumped up high. As it descends the female figure headbutts you right away and she stares straight in your eyes as her forehead grinds against yours.
"EVER HEARD OF KNOCKING YOU FUCKING PEASANT?!"

"Oh? You got moxie. I like that!"

This woman, this... thing that's grinding her forehead against yours glares straight through your eyes and into your soul whilst making the most manic grunting noises you've heard in a while. Sparks fly off between your hardened foreheads before she finally bounces off of you. But as you smirk you suddenly feel something on your shoulders. During the moment of recoil she grabbed you. And now you feel her digging both of her high heels into your guts as she winds up for a second headbutt.

"ULMETEOR!"
The second hit is even bigger than the first one and shakes the whole room along with you.
"HNNNNG! FALL PIPSQUEAK!"
Now when the inevitable rebound happens it's you who's stumbling backwards as your vision blurs. The girl meanwhile lands where you were and she huffs and puffs as she clutches her fists.
"Serves... you... right! I don't care who the hell you are! NOBODY! MESSES! WITH PAY-PAY!"
Her eyes don't leave you for a second, not even as the skin on her forehead splits and blood starts flowing down her face.

"ULTI! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST DO YOU STUPID GIRL?!"
Queen screams in disbelief and the others are quick to follow his example.

You finally stop shaking and manage to regain your composure before snapping back and leaning forward with a manic grin on your face.
"Finally! Someone with some guts!"
The difference between someone like her and a scum like Apoo is like night and day. Scratchman was a moron who would never have attacked you if he knew about your status, or he'd only do it if he believed he had an easy escape available. She meanwhile was fully aware of who you are and her first response was STILL violence. You reach up to your forehead and feel it sticky from your own blood.
"Kek. Kekekeke! Good!"
Jumping forward you ready your hand and as you leap you grab her by the forehead.
"Allow me to return the favor!"

With one continuous motion you drive her into the tatami and black lightning erupts after the impact. Her eyes roll back into her skull and she gets knocked out a few seconds of struggle later.
"ANIKI!"
Her brother doesn't waste a second to rush to her aid.
"You... you bast-"

"That's enough kid."
King gives him a stern look and you laugh.

"Relax. I just knocked her out. Put some ice on her head. Maybe a few bandages."
After you have her laid down on a sofa and call her a nurse you also take a seat at the table and pour yourself a drink as you interrogate the others.
"So... mind explaining to me how she has more balls than all of you combined? Big lady not included. And why exactly are you all above her in rank?"

"Her strength and skill are impressive but they still pale in comparison to ours."
King answers matter of factly.
"She even managed to impress Kaido both with her combat ability and her... "fiery attitude". The captain liked her so much in fact he even accepted her deal to make Page One a member of the Tobi Roppo, as she wouldn't have taken the position otherwise."
>>
"HEY! I also earned my position here!"
Page One complains.

"Sure kid."

But you just nod in agreement.
"As he should've. If I was in his place I would've done the same."
However you do get a bit more serious as you look at them.
"It's so impressive it makes me wonder what you guys are doing being lamer than her."

They remain silent. It's hard to tell if they don't have an answer to that or if they are simply uncomfortable answering to anyone other than Kaido. As the awkward mood mounts one of them who's wearing a mask lights up a cigarette.
"That aside... phew... to what do we owe this pleasure boss? We aren't about to receive the Drake treatment, are we?"

"And you are?"

"Who's Who. Tobi Roppo. And just to be transparent, a former Cipher Pol agent."

"Former?"

"Got thrown into the slammer for messing up a mission. Messing up means not being able to stop one of the Four Emperors from raiding our ship and stealing a Devil Fruit."

"Me?"

"No."
He chuckles.
"So I don't have a grudge against you. But I did hear that you did something similar. Small world. Anyway after breaking out Kaido took me in. Haven't looked back since."
He smushes his ciggie on an ashtray as he looks at you.
"So cap'n. Are we next on the chopping block or not?"

Most of them are slightly offended by your insinuations but Who's Who seems eager to prove himself. He dismisses the two ladies that he held in his arms and stands up before transforming into a massive, saber toothed cat.
"As you can see I ate an ancient zoan fruit. All of us did actually. On top of that I also know Rokushiki. Back at the academy they used to say that I had as much potential, if not more, than the famous genius Rob Lucci. So there's my resume. Who's Who is the name. The giant lady over there is Black Maria. She runs the whorehouse and she ate an ancient spider fruit. You already met Ulti, she comes packaged with Page One so take that however you will-"

"HEY!"

"Both of them are dinosaurs. Page One is a big bitey one with a big fin on its back, and Ulti... well try to guess what she does. And that hefty fucker over there is Sasaki. Don't let his coloration fool you. He's actually a fish-man, not human. Also ate a dinosaur fruit that has these three horns. And since Drake got axed that's pretty much what's left of us. Not gonna speak for the three All-Stars."

"I would've preferred if you didn't do the speaking for us Who's Who..."

"Shut your piehole Sasaki. I'm doing all o' you a favor. I know it's hard to wrap your brains around it since you're all pirates but it pays to be nice to your new boss when a change in management happens. As for our combat abilities, if the fruits weren't enough for you we're all either formal captains of our respective crews or could be if we broke off now. If you were impressed by Ulti then you won't be disappointed by us as we can match her pound for pound."

You smirk.
"Good. I like how that sounds. Thank you CP-guy. You may sit. Now as for you-"
You shift your eyes at the All-Stars.
"I met all of you before but I haven't seen you fight. What can you do?"
In particular you're eyeing King really hard right now.

"Shiieet. I'll bite!"
Queen happily takes a puff from his cigar.
"I'm the resident medic of this cavalcade of clowns, also a bona fide scientist. Are you aware of MADS?"

"The name rings a bell. Bunch of underground scientist doing weird stuff."

"Pretty much. Worked with Vegapunk among others."
Queen proudly displays his mechanical arms.
"I specialize in cybernetics and virology. Saying I'm half machine is underselling it! And that's on top of my Brachiosaurus Zoan! Also I got a few quite nasty viruses cooked up in my lab. You should come take a look some day."

"Ooooh. Stitches would love that. I'll tell her to go take a look. And you?"

Jack ignores you.
"Don't mind Jack."
Queen speaks for him.
"The runt is a bit of a stick in the mud. Also a bit pissed you beat up Kaido but whatevs. He doesn't have much going for him aside being tough as nails. Guess being a massive fish-man and a Mammoth Zoan user helps with that. And King-"

"I can speak for myself you tub of lard."
King rises from his seat.
"You've been glaring at me for a while now. So let's get this over with."
He grabs his jacket and tugs on it.
"Hit me. That should be plenty enough for you."
Admittedly you did want a piece of him but you did not expect he'd be so forthcoming about this. Whatever, you won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Drawing your sword you ready yourself before delivering a cut straight at his chest. And the audible clang of the impact confirms your suspicion.
"Satisfied?"

"You're like those new Pacifista the marines have."

He got very irritated from hearing that.
"Yes. Decades ago Kaido and I were captured by the marines. They experimented on us. Guess they managed to copy my abilities somehow."

"Ah I see."
Seeing how he doesn't seem keen on discussing the topic further you decide not to push it. After putting away your sword you ask him to sit back down.
"Alright. It's clear that none of you are weenies. So I'm satisfied. What I said stands. If you wanna stay you can. If not get out. Simple as. Oh and if the girl wakes up tell her I'll be at the top floor!"
You say that with a smirk before turning around to leave.
"Well, have fun I guess."

"Hold up!"
Who's Who springs up from his seat and grabs you by the shoulder.
"Now that you're done I got some questions of my own. If you don't mind that is."

"Alright. Go ahead. Fair is fair."

"Excellent!"
He promptly takes his hand off of you.
"Sorry about that. It's just that I've been quite eager to meet you for a while now. You see I'm aware of your reputation and because of that I wanted to ask you one very specific thing."

"Oh boy."

"Here we go again."
The others groan but Who's Who pays them no mind.

"Are you aware of the legend of Nika?"

"Who?"

"Nika. The Sun God. You see while I was in Impel Downs deepest, darkest pits a guard came to my cell. He told me about this ancient tale that slaves used to tell each other back in olden days. I assume that it's forbidden knowledge, because the guard that told me about it mysteriously vanished not long after. It was part of the reason why I escaped. I thought I'd be next."

"Fascinating-"
You say in a voice dripping with sarcasm.
"But what does that have to do with me? Or did you think I knew about this?"

"Ah you see, that's the fun part! The legends say that Nika, the Sun God, would one day come and break the chains of slaves all across the world and liberate them all. And, well, given your previous reputation and the fact that you just mentioned slavery being taboo I was just wondering-"

Your black arm starts extending and coiling around in the air like a snake, eventually making its way to Who's Who's neck. The former Cipher Pol agent is shocked but it doesn't look like he's too distressed. Even as you tighten your hold on his throat he keeps calm.
"Do I look like a god to you? Or someone that has to do anything with the sun?"

"Heh. A man who has a penchant for being on fire and whose battle reports frequently mention him descending from the sky like a shooting star? Killing slavers and breaking the chains of the subjugated? Yeah. A little."

"I am going to tell all of you this once. I am not a god and certainly not YOUR god. But if you call me that again I can make you meet one! Understand? I won't have anyone attribute my achievements to some god or twist of fate. Everything I did I did myself, not god, not a prophecy. Clear?"

"C-Crystal."
You give his throat one last squeeze before letting him go.

"Good."

"Cough cough cough. If you... don't believe me... ask your fish-man first mate."

You look down at him.
"Jaws?"

"The fish-folk... have a strong connection to the sun. The Sun Pirates have its image burnt into their skin!"

"Sigh. Cut it out Who's Who-"
Sasaki interjects.
"I told you already I know nothing about that stuff. So quit bugging everyone with that nonsense."

"Shut up! It's not nonsense! It's real! I know it! Think about it captain. If it wasn't the government wouldn't make people who know about it disappear."

"This conversation is over."

Angered you left Kaidos men and went to the top floor of the palace where yours were waiting for you. They were mostly relaxing until you returned but now they can sense that something's off.
"You okay Silver?"
Murray asks as you approach him.

"Not in a good mood Jaws. Someone managed to piss me off quite well."

"Hmph. Sucks to be them I guess."

"What do you know about Nika?"

He looks up.
"That's a word I haven't heard in a while."

"So you know it?"

"Vaguely. It's not something I heard at Fish-man district though. I heard about it when I was asking the old guard of the Sun Pirates about Tiger and his story. They said it was some old wives tale. They said that Fisher Tiger did not randomly pick the symbol of the sun, but that it was the mark of an ancient legend, a warrior who fights for freedom, happiness and joy, that was Nika. Guess Tiger felt like that'd resonate well with his goals."
He awkwardly touches his own back which now also bears that same mark instead of Hody's.
"Well not like it really matters. It's just like any other symbol. It differs from one man to another what they see in it. But why? Where did this come from?"

"One of Kaidos goons said something about it. Seems to be a real fan of the guy."

"And?"

"He accused me of being him."

"Oof. Big mistake. How hard did you break him?"

"I let him go after strangling him."

"Lucky guy."

"Yeah. There was this girl. First thing she did when she saw me was headbutting me. It was awesome!"

"Ah. I see. Guess that explains why you were generous enough to let him go with just a warning. So anyway did you do that thing you wanted?"

"Yeah. Ended up killing one of them. The other left. And the third shut down. He's still on the ground floor."

"Neat. So what's the plan? Got anything else you want to get done?"

"Ugh. I should probably go and check up on Sandersonia and Fishy, just to see if they're settling in. And maybe I should take them out for some sightseeing too now that I think about it."

"Why that sounds like a lovely idea."

"Yeah..."

"Hmmm? Something wrong?"

"Nothing. It's just... a bit boring is all. Spending the day strolling around a city not doing much isn't how I imagined this whole pirate thing going y'know."

"Sometimes we just need a little bit of a break. Even you Silver. I get that you're most comfortable in conflict but maybe it'd do you some good to just relax a bit. Ever since Marineford you've been too tense. Just grit your teeth, gather the girls and try to have a good time."

"Sigh. Fine."

"Atta boy."

Going over to the room which Shirahoshi occupies you try to enter but a pair of ladies in kimonos stand in your way.
"Halt! We are the handmaidens of the esteemed ladies in this chamber, appointed by lord Kaido himself! No man shall enter!"

"I'm Silver. I own this place. And the girls inside are my future wives."

"Even more so! Don't you know that it's bad luck for the groom to see his bride before the wedding?! Now shoo! Shoo! Get out!"

"What do you MEAN?!"

As you start arguing quite loudly with the ladies the door opens up and Shirahoshis head pops out.
"Ah Silver! I knew I heard you! Come in, come in!"

The two handmaidens stutter as you stick your tongue out at them before entering. Inside you find both Fishy and Sandersonia doing their hair.
"I see you're hanging out."

"Uh-huh! We realized we didn't know much about each other so we decided to spend some quality time together."

"W-w-w-why are you here? D-Didn't you know that it's bad luck for the bride and the groom to meet before the wedding?!"

"Ugh. Not you too. Anyway I came to ask if you're bored of this stuffy old place or not. Because I'm planning on taking a ship to the main land and explore it a bit. Check out the capital, you know. Do you wanna come with?"

"C-Come with? You mean like a da-d-d-d-da-da-"

"Oh! That sounds amazing! Finally I can explore a proper human city! Come Sandersonia! We must go!"

As the big snake continues to stutter Shirahoshi grabs her by the hand and starts dragging her. It looks like you're about to experience quite a little walk.

Silver was warned about the rebel army, but if they show up he's probably more worried about how violent he can be around Shirahoshi than thinking they are a threat.

"I don't like this!"

"Are we sure this is the right thing to do?"

"This is beyond stupid."

Helmeppo, Coby and Mary all voice their opinion as they slowly descend into the deepest bowels of the once-impregnable prison Impel Down. The secure elevator that the guards gave them access to makes moving through the different layers a trivial matter but it does nothing to ease their worries as they keep heading down and down and down with no end in sight. And even after they reach the bottom of Level 5 they still have ways to go before they reach the hidden elevator which is the only way to reach level which officially doesn't exist, Level 6. This is the place where the government used to keep all of the criminals they couldn't simply kill for one reason or another but still needed to disappear. The cells were almost packed to the brim until Marshall D. Teach, better known as Blackbeard, broke into the prison and forced all the inmates of this layer into a cage death-matches and took the survivors into his crew.

Now it's home to only one man. The only person worthy of this illustrious box whom the Marines captured since the great prison break. And he was delighted to finally have visitors.
"Fufufufufu! If I had known I'd have guests I would've tidied up the place a little! Greetings Captain Tashigi! It's been a while. You look a bit different. Did you do something to your hair? No... wait. You lost weight! Fufufufufu! Whatever it is, it looks good on you. Oh and please forgive me for not standing up to greet you buuut-"
Donquixote Doflamingo strained against the sea-stone chains his body is wrapped up in to make a point.

But Tashigi was having none of it. She took her sword and banged it against the bars of his cell.
"Be quiet Doflamingo. I did not crawl down into your pit to amuse you."

"Evidently not. You soured a bit since we last met. Not as fun anymore. Sheesh. Can't believe I miss Smoker. Where did you leave the old sour-puss anyway? Or did you ditch him for these three shrimps? Oh... wait. I forgot. The good doctor Vegapunk is probably still busy piecing the scraps back together so they could at least give him an open casket funeral. How could I be so forgetful?"

"Your informants are loosing their touch. Smoker is alive and well."

"Well excuse me. I have a hard time getting the freshest news down here. And that damn bird Morgans has a bad tendency to embezzle the truth a bit too much for my liking. So he's alive huh? Good for him. I bet he only regrets surviving as a crippled wreck only every other second. Fufufufufu!"
Tashigi kicks the bars of Donquixotes cell again.
"Ow. My ears."
>>
"Maybe that'll teach you to hold your tongue, jackal. Now listen up. You can either shut up and listen to what I have to say, or we can go back where we came and leave you here in this damp hole to be consumed by mold. Your choice."

"Feisty. I don't know exactly what Cavalier broke in you but the next time you meet him give him my regards for a job well done. But... I'm listening."

"Good. Now here's the deal. You're one of the last living pirates of note that Cavalier hasn't killed or subverted to his cause yet. We intend to kill him. You are going to help us achieve that."

"Ah. I figured it's something like that. But before I agree to your proposal I feel like we're missing one teensy-weensy little thing, one minute detail, one slight problem. Why on earth should I help you? Fufufufu! Cavalier might not warm the cockles of my heart but the way I see it he's the safest bet for anyone who wants you marines, the entire world government, the tenryubito and that accursed-"
A vein pops out of Donquixotes forehead and as he goes on more and more show up.
"-shitty, little scumbag Straw Hat Luffy! And I would relish nothing more than the knowledge that all of you will be put to the stake with the spike going in on one end and out the other!"
As suddenly as he got pissed off he calms down.
"And I do consider myself to be part of that demographic my dear captain."

Doflamingo starts grinning from ear to ear as he anticipates Tashigis response. Meanwhile the lady, without looking away from him, calls one of the guards.
"Open his cell."

"I'm sorry ma'am but the warden-"

In one motion his neck is severed from his shoulder and Tashigi goes to take the key from his lifeless body. She goes to unlock Doflamingos cage and she sits down on his chest after entering. She presses the tip of her sword between Doflamingos two front teeth.
"I don't remember asking. Pirate. Either you're going to help or you're of no use to anyone. Refuse and I'm locking this cage and tossing the key so you can rot in this hole for the rest of your days, but not before I make you swallow your teeth, give you a real close shave, gouge out your eyes and tie a bucket full of rats to your chest before lighting it on fire. Now I'm aware you don't exactly give a shit. You lost everything already, Straw Hat made sure of that. And scum like you don't even have a soul to begin with. Like you said about Smoker... death would be a mercy for you at this point. But there is at least one last shred of dignity I can take away from you. As I'll do everything I just mentioned previously I'll have those three take pictures of it from every angle. Then I'll publish it in a book titled "Former Celestial Dragon gets what he deserves". Even as Cavalier burns every island one after another at least the common folk will know that you suffered more than they did and they can find at least a little bit of joy in that. So make your fucking choice Doflamingo."
>>
Tashigi pulls her sword out from Doffys mouth just long enough for him to answer. But the former warlord simply stares at her in awe before erupting in a soft laughter.
"Fufufufufu! Well... color me scared AND aroused captain. How could I refuse such a generous offer? But... I do have one condition. You're not planning on letting others like Straw Hat to run free after you've dealt with Cavalier. Right?"

"Your point?"

"Should you get to that point where you've captured Straw Hat and you're planning on introducing him to some Justice as well, please do make sure he gets assigned to my cell when he's sent down here."

"I can only promise to try."

"Fufufufu! Works for me!"
>>
>>5667420
>>5667421
>>5667423
Wait, so the deal they're trying to give Doffy is work with us to kill Silver or we'll torture and humiliate you? Am I getting that right?

Because if I am then that is a really stupid plan. All they have are his restraints but they need to free him to use him so why would Doffy ever follow through when they have nothing to coerce him with?
>>
>>5667440
Because Doffy has nothing to gain by leaving and nothing to loose by cooperating. His whole ideology was that the wheel of ages is turning and that the unworthy will be crushed by it. And he lost. The new age is here and he's not at the top of it as he thought he would be. The way he sees it he's in the best place to watch it all play out, in the middle of an impregnable fortress. And if this doesn't work out? Nothing happens. But if it does then he gets to watch as everything he hates, the whole world, unravels as he stirs shit one last time.

Short answer: It's funny. Fitting for a joker
>>
>>5667453
So by "You are going to help us achieve that" she meant something like training? Because I thought it meant fighting Silver directly which doesn't sound like "spectating the new age".
>>
>>5667466
I guess they're asking the string man to pull some strings
>>
She could also bring up the fact that we'd 100% murder doffy and his entire "family" once we find out about sugar and her devil fruit and what he had her do with it, like doffy/sugar would probably surpass judge for the most vile slavery commited considering not only are they forced to obey but their entire previous identity b4 slavery is erased from history pretty much
>>
>>5667421
I do wonder if Tashigi has the strength or plan to backup all this talk or if she's just letting anger guide her, because as it stands Doffy, Garp and the two admirals have their work cut out for them in facing what is basically three emperor level fleets + former warlords + two emperors.
>>
>>5668063
No shot tashigi will be able to personally fight even our top guys let alone us, like if she does somehow magically get powered up to anywhere even approaching our lvl it'll kinda seem like BS, so the only option is somekind of plan but i can't think of anything she'd be able to do personally
>>
>>5668083
I mean, you're not wrong.
But there is precedent for "training in dangerous locations give you a massive powerboost" namely in the lazy nonsense that was the pre new world timeskip.
And let's give Swordfondler her dues here, Impel down is about as hostile as you can get it. Even more so if they're cold enough to take advantage of the rather dangerous and very expendable inmates. And we know Mary can certainly be
>>
Looks like this thread is about to drop off; we should archive it if we haven't already.
>>
>>5668462
You're forgetting that Impel Down level 6 was made barren by Blackbeard and the other remaining inmates were sent to fight in Eliza's execution where they were intercepted by Kaido, there might still be strong foes there, but they are probably far from Silver's level.
>>
>>5668732
Not at all.
Do you know who else is probably far from Silver's level?
Coby, Helmeppo, Mary and Swordfondler. There are still levels one through five full of people and zoan monsters to give them a proper workout.
>>
>>5668749
Fair enough, I guess at this point it's either get stronger by any means or Silver gives them the same treatment Shanks gave Kidd in the manga
