At the age of 60, you find yourself feeling out of shape and unaccomplished. You have never married, and your life has been mediocre at best. Despite working hard throughout your life, now that you're retired, you don't know what to do with yourself. You've saved up $20,000 for retirement, but you know it's not enough to live the life you've always dreamed of. However, your buddies at the bar have told you about a place in Thailand called Pattaya, where you can live like a king for a year with the money you've saved. After much contemplation, you've decided that this is where you want to spend your retirement. You prefer not to think on what will happen after your year in Pattaya comes to an end or whether you'll be able to afford a comfortable life, you just want to live in the moment and relish the experiences this foreign land has to offer.

After a lengthy flight, you finally arrive in Pattaya and are taken aback by the bright lights and pulsing music. You instinctively know that this is the town for you. You make your way to the Lighthouse Inn, a cozy little hotel you had booked online. The friendly staff greets you with broad smiles and refreshing drinks as you enter the lobby, speaking to you in broken English. They then lead you to your room, situated on the top floor of the hotel.

Upon entering your room, you are pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness, brightness, and comfort. The room has a comfortable queen-sized bed, a small sitting area, and a desk with a lamp for you to do some reading or writing. Addictipns can be fixed anon. Chronic pain at that age though is nearly imposible, several relatives of mine have never recovered once it inflicts them. Really sad to see them become less energetic from it.
