In an age before recorded history, Man eked out a life bound by blood and tradition across his ancestral homeland of Thulzar.

And in this harsh realm where iron and sinew forged the path to glory, flowed the lifeblood of the Whispering River. It winded through desolate hills and past crumbling ruins, a serpentine ribbon in a land that brooked no weakness.

Your life begins with a desperate cry echoing against the mud-brick walls of your family's humble dwelling. Your mother cradles you close, tears of joy mingling with the sweat of labor, as your father looks up at the night sky to seek the constellation under which you were born.

You were born in the central lands, in a Varukori village near the Whispering River. The days pass in a blur of simplicity: seasons change, harvests are gathered, solstices celebrated. Life is routine but peaceful. As you grow, the village offers different avenues of learning under the watchful eyes of the tribe's esteemed elders.

> Train with the thanes: Days of sweat and toil. You become strong. Your muscles harden; your grip tightens. When you swing a weapon, it becomes an extension of your own will. Respect is earned in feats of strength.
> Follow the elders: Listen to traders, debate with cousins and neighbors. Quick exchanges, sharper insights. Words become your tools, sharper than any blade. Your tongue weaves tapestries of persuasion and insight. Deals are brokered; disputes, resolved.
> Find solace in ancient scripture: Secrets whispered in moonlight, mysteries unfold. Your understanding of the arcane grows, yet it remains limited to low magics and natural lore. Though magic is scarce, your talents draw wary eyes. Subtle power lies in hidden knowledge.

The morning fog has barely lifted as you and your father step into the forest, bow and quiver slung over your shoulders. Then, there it is—a splendid silver-white stag standing near a pool of crystal-clear water, its antlers catching the first rays of the dawning sun. The majestic creature locks eyes with you for a timeless moment before darting effortlessly into the thick woods. The smell of damp earth hangs in the air as your father puts his hand on your shoulder.

> Hunt the Stag Down: A thrill runs through you. This is the moment to prove your prowess, to make your father proud. The bow feels alive in your hands as you set off, determined to bring down the magnificent beast. This is a hunt for glory and honor.
> Organize a Hunt: Wisdom tempers eagerness. This stag is a prize worth more than simple bragging rights—it's a community's feast and a season's good luck. You return to the village, rallying the experienced hunters for a grand expedition. The hunt becomes a communal endeavor.
> Leave the Stag Be: Your gut tells you this is no ordinary stag; it's a creature of omens and portents. You lower your bow, turn to your father, and advise him that this beast is not to be trifled with. You mark the area and warn the villagers to give the stag a wide berth. Some things in the forest are best left untouched.

The village is alive with the spirit of the harvest festival. Brightly colored ribbons adorn homes and hearths, swirling in the cool autumn breeze. Laughter and music fill the air as villagers gather to celebrate the season's bounty. Food is plentiful, and old stories are told anew, keeping tradition alive in the hearts of young and old.

> Stand Guard with the Thanes: You take up arms with the village thanes, keeping a watchful eye on the festivities. The responsibility weighs heavily, but the gratitude in the eyes of your fellow villagers makes it worthwhile. Vigilance keeps joy safe.

Rumors have begun to circulate through the village, whispered conversations that fall silent when you approach. The tale is as absurd as it is unsettling: that you transform into a leech at night, stealing the blood of young girls. Despite the ridiculous nature of the claim, you can't help but notice a new wariness in the eyes of your neighbors.

> Find the One That Spread This Lie: Anger rise within you. You decide to track down the origin of this rumor and confront the person responsible. If your honor is at stake, then setting the record straight is paramount.
> Appeal to the Elders: Trusting in the wisdom and authority of the village elders, you bring the matter before them, hoping they will quell these baseless accusations and restore your good name among the clan.
> Focus on Your Work in the Fields: With a shrug, you turn your attention to the endless cycle of planting and harvest. Rumors are as fleeting as the morning mist, and you believe that your consistent actions and dedication to your work will eventually silence the idle chatter.

You trace the roots of the rumor to Fhor, Marik the Hunter's headstrong daughter. "Well, it might as well be true!" she exclaims when confronted. "The son of our village's best hunter, hunched over dusty parchments! Engrossed in mere words! What a disgrace." Her words sting, and a flicker of shame touches your heart. Yet, this situation calls for resolution.

> Have Proud Fhor Admit and Apologize: Insist that Fhor admit to her deceit and apologize publicly, restoring your name in front of the entire village. The community must know the truth.
> Come Up With a Rumor About Fhor: A sly thought crosses your mind. If rumors are so easily spread, perhaps it's time Fhor learned what it feels like to be the subject of idle chatter. Sometimes, humor is the best way to defuse tension.
> Seek Reparations From Her Family: According to the traditions of your clan, spreading false rumors is a slight against another’s honor that requires reparations. You decide to consult with Marik and seek amends from Fhor's family.

You stand along the banks of the Whispering River, fishing spear in hand, eyes scanning the sun-dappled waters for a worthy catch. Your family is nearby, chatting and laughing, making the most of this communal outing. As for Fhor, she is standing a few paces away with her spear poised over the water. Her expression is a blend of concentration and mild annoyance, as if she's both committed to the task and somewhat resentful of having to share it with you.

But then, something catches your eye.

> A Fatty Fish: Your spear strikes true, piercing an unusually large, fatty fish that thrashes momentarily before surrendering. Its size is remarkable—a catch that promises to make tonight's supper an abundant feast, and surely the village's gossip of the month.
> An Old Bronze Dagger: Your spear nudges against a hard object, and when you reach down to investigate, you find an old bronze dagger. Its scabbard is rotten away, but the blade itself is still remarkably sharp. Its origins are a mystery that tickles the imagination.
> A Carved Stone: You notice an odd shape in the riverbed and, upon closer inspection, discover a stone firmly lodged there. It is carved with a single rune, an ancient symbol whose meaning eludes you.

The fatty fish is gutted, seasoned, and grilled over an open flame as the neighbors gather around. Your father holds court, boasting to all about how you wrestled this sea monster from the depths of the Whispering River—a tale growing more heroic with each telling. The sight of him so visibly proud of your accomplishment warms you from within. Across the fire, you and your mother exchange a knowing smile, silently sharing the joy of the moment.

Fhor picks up a small stone and idly tosses it into the fire. "I guess you're not completely useless with a spear," she observes, her tone more thoughtful than cutting.

> Acknowledge Fhor's Compliment: "A good catch makes for a good feast, and a good feast makes for a happy village," you respond, grateful for her unexpectedly softer tone. You begin to think that maybe she's warming up to you.
> Turn to Your Father: Riding on the wave of your father's joy, you seize the moment to fuel his animated storytelling. "This fish is only the beginning. Next time, I aim to catch something that will have its own place in our legends." you say, allowing the tale to grow taller yet.
> Offer Thanks to the River: Taking a small portion of the grilled fish, you quietly slip away from the crowd and walk to the edge of the Whispering River. With a whispered word of gratitude, you cast it into the water as an offering, thanking the river for its bounty.

Your friend Kosa enters your roundhouse, his eyes wide with anxiety, holding his family's jar of wishes with trembling hands. "I opened it by mistake," he stammers. "You have to help me put wishes back before my parents return from their trading mission!"

> Explain the Solstice Ritual: You let him down gently, explaining that wishes can only be safely placed back in the jar during the spring solstice. It's a time of renewal, when the energies of the world are aligned for such delicate matters. He should come clean to his parents.
> Falsify a New Seal: Taking a deep breath, you decide to craft a new seal for the jar, imitating the one Kosa broke. Both of you cross your fingers, hoping his family won't notice the difference, but Kosa will remember this gesture nevertheless.
> Attempt a Wish Ceremony: Summoning your knowledge of lesser-known rites, you attempt to conduct an off-season wish ceremony. With incantations and precise movements, both of you deposit your own wishes into the jar trying to imbue it with new but authentic hopes.

Elder Tharn's teachings grow increasingly demanding, ancient lore and incantations leaving little room for rest or sustenance. Your eyes drift to Hijon and Claro, the two other children in the village showing magic potential, who seem to be struggling to keep pace, their faces etched with worry and fatigue.

> Speak to Elder Tharn: Concerned for your friends, you decide to approach Elder Tharn after the lesson. With due respect, you share your observations and ask if perhaps the pace could be adjusted to ensure everyone's for the sake of everyone's well-being.
> Help Hijon and Claro: Knowing that Elder Tharn is unlikely to slow down for the sake of a few struggling students, you choose to take matters into your own hands. You coordinate secret study sessions with Hijon and Claro, aiming to bolster each other's understanding and skill.
> Focus on Your Own Learning: Recognizing that the lessons are meant to separate the wheat from the chaff, you decide to concentrate on your own studies. The path of knowledge is often a solitary one, and you can't afford to fall behind.

Hijon's progress is evident, her senses sharpening and her understanding of the mystical arts deepening under your tutelage. However, Claro struggles, his frustrations mounting day by day.

"This is not for me, Galrick," he says, exasperated. "I should tend to the crops and feed the livestock like my parents do and theirs before them." He falls silent, his eyes searching yours. "What do you think I should do?"

> Advise to Quit the Teachings: "Claro, the clan needs strong farmers and herders as much as it needs shamans. Knowing the land and beasts is a form of wisdom, too. Your calling might lie there."
> Encourage to Continue: "The teachings are difficult for a reason. They prepare us for the weighty responsibilities of a shaman. If you quit now, the clan loses a potential spiritual leader. And you lose the chance to discover untapped aspects of yourself."
> Invoke a Ritual for Guidance: "If you're unsure, perhaps a simple guidance ritual could offer some clarity. The answer may come from forces greater than ourselves." Yet, you're aware that rituals are fickle in their outcomes; Claro might glean no insight at all.

The Whispering River lies between you, its crisp waters reflecting the soft glow of the moon above. The air is still, the long grass barely rustling, as if holding its breath in anticipation. Hijon sits quietly on the bank, not to assist in the ritual, but to be present, offering her silent support to her friends navigating these mystical waters.

With closed eyes, you begin the ritual. Slowly, you feel your own life force melding with the ebb and flow of the river. It's as if the currents themselves lend you their ancient wisdom, whispering secrets only discernible to those who truly listen. In this moment, you are one with the river and with the mysterious forces that shape all existence.

Claro made his way back to his family's fields, his shoulders a little lighter, and his choice clear and resolute.

Elder Tharn was less pleased however. He chastised you in the following days, clearly irritated that his most promising student was lagging in their studies. Though his words stung, your heart remained untroubled. There was a different kind of wisdom, you thought, in knowing when to aid your friends.

Cold sweat clings to you as you wake in the pitch-black longhouse, disrupted by a nudge from Fhor. "Galrick, wake up. You were making sounds—like you were hurting," she whispers, her eyes filled with concern. Nightmarish visions linger: a merciless sun, your flesh withering away, and an ominous red bird circling above.

"Nightmares," you mutter, brushing the lingering dread from your mind. "Sorry to wake you."

Fhor's gaze doesn't waver, as if searching for something more within you. "Galrick..." she begins, but lets the word hang heavy in the darkened room.

Ancestor's Day may lack festivity, but it holds the weight of tradition and respect for those who walked these lands before you. Elder Tharn keeps you busy, sending you on errands to fetch tablets and scrolls from the Knowing Hall to the central gathering. Hijon, your counterpart, is spared the running—entrusted instead with keeping his water cask filled. It's an uneven arrangement, but you're glad to avoid most of Tharn's ceaseless monologues.

As you step out of the Knowing Hall, parchment tucked under your arm, you spot a handful huddled behind a barn, conspicuously absent from the ongoing ceremony. It appears Kosa has procured a jug of sweet wine and is sharing the spoils with his co-conspirators.

As you approach the group of young people, their initial smiles and laughter fade into uneasy glances as you express your disapproval of their drinking during this important day. The atmosphere turns tense; some look down in shame, while others wear expressions of irritation. Fhor is among them, her eyes meet yours, but her thoughts remain inscrutable.

Kosa suddenly stands and confronts you, the smell of wine heavy on his breath. "You're becoming a real burden, Galrick," he snaps, jabbing his finger into your chest with unmistakable aggression. "How about you shut up and go back to being the Elders' little lapdog, uh?" The atmosphere grows tense, all eyes focused on you, awaiting your next move.

Snitching would burn our bridges with them entirely. Just leaving them to their thing is a good idea in the start, now it would only make us look like a coward. So standing our ground seems the best idea out of the bunch (assuming that the ensuing fight isn't going to be known by the adults of course), we're probably gonna get dunked on by the big guy anyway but it would show that we're determined at the least. But in the case the incident reaches the elder's ears we can always lie, saying we fought to see who's the stronger one? If he doesn't buy it then it's not a big deal anyway, and I mean, we can always pack our shit and leave if we want to.

The quiet reverence of Ancestor's Day is disrupted when tensions between you and Kosa escalate into a brawl, despite the attempts by other young people to break it up. With help from a quick distraction by Fhor, you manage to land a blow that breaks Kosa's nose. However, you fare far worse in the altercation: your face swells, your chest throbs, and a piece of your tooth is missing.

[Confront Kosa: Challenging—Mettle: Fair, Failure]

You and Kosa keep the reason for the fight to yourselves, trying to shield your friends from any fallout. Elder Tharn's scolding seems to drag on longer than usual, his tone tinged with a palpable disappointment. It becomes clear that he had higher expectations for you, and his disapproval lingers in the atmosphere long after he stops speaking. Adhering to clan tradition for those not yet of age, both of you are consigned to a day sitting in the cold currents of the Whispering River.

As the sun dips low in the sky, Kosa finally speaks. "We used to hang out all the time when we were young," he says, wincing as he touches his broken nose. "But ever since you got involved with that shaman stuff, you've changed." You sit quietly, your gaze drifting over the water's sparkling surface.

Your father returns from the hunt, a grimace etched onto his face as he leans heavily on Marik's shoulder. "A bad step," he mutters, "and the ground gave way."

And you mother, ever the herbalist, swiftly prepares salves and ointments, her hands moving with practiced ease. Yet even she pauses, her eyes clouded with worry. "These wounds are deep; the healing will take time."

> Join the Hunt: With your father incapacitated, someone must fill his role in providing meat for the coming winter. You pick up your spear and prepare to join the hunting party.
> Aid in Healing: Though not trained in the healing arts, you could assist your mother under her guidance. Your touch, imbued with a latent sense of the mystical, may hasten your father's recovery.

Led by Elder Tharn and helped by Hijon, you set out to conduct a sacred ritual invoking the spirits of your hunting ancestors for protection. Your father's recovery then rests with your mother's healing skills, freeing you to focus on this task.

In the following days, news arrives that the hunters are elated, finding the woods suddenly teeming with game. Tharn offers you a nod signaling his approval

On a sunny afternoon, Hijon approaches you with a modest bundle wrapped in cloth. Her eyes meet yours, flicking briefly to the bruises still mottling your face. "I wanted to thank you for the extra lessons," she says, unraveling the cloth to reveal a freshly baked blueberry flatbread. "And well, after the fight with Kosa you looked like you could use something to lift your spirits."

You accept the gift, the scent of the flatbread mingling with the wild aroma of blueberries. Taking a bite, you find that it's as delicious as it smells.

Sitting together, you enjoy the pastry, accompanied by cheerful chatter and laughter. The conversation flows gently, jumping from light banter to gossip. The sun's descent and the dimming light are the only indicators of how much time has truly passed.

The weight of the recent events lifts, and even your bruises feel less sore. Before going, Hijon flashes a mischievous smile, "As my mother used to say, 'To get a man to open up, feed his belly.'" A billowing column of smoke and the panicked shouts of your neighbors disrupt the otherwise peaceful night. Fire has engulfed a nearby roundhouse. People rush, jugs of water sloshing, to douse the flames. Amidst the chaos, you spot Lute, her arms wrapped tightly around her crying mother.

> Help Out with the Effort: Join the villagers in carrying water to quench the fire, coordinating with others to form an efficient line from the nearest water source to the burning roundhouse.
> Make Sure the Fire Doesn't Spread: With surrounding houses and the nearby forest dangerously close, you opt to safeguard the vicinity by clearing flammable material and dousing potential hot spots.
> Try to Invoke Spirit of Rains: Elder Tharn is away, and the heatwave isn't helping, but you feel compelled to attempt a shamanistic chant to summon rains, despite your incomplete training. It's a desperate bid, yet the situation calls for it.

Someone is going to punch us if we try to invoke some spirit. Everyone is already focused on the burning hut (which may or may not already be lost). Considering that we're in the middle of a heatwave, everything is dry af, and the main risk at this point is the fire getting worse, not the house burning more or less.

As the last days of Fhor's cottarship wane, she gathers her belongings, while the muffled voices of your parents echo from further down the path to your roundhouse. The space between you feels a bit heavy, laden with unspoken thoughts. "About that leech rumor..." she starts, avoiding direct eye contact, "I'm sorry. My father's always talking about how great yours is. And seeing him talk like that, it felt unjust that his only son was… well, you." You look at her, waiting for her to continue, and she does. "But now, after spending time here, and learning to know you, I was wrong. You have that same quality my father admires in yours."

The air seems to thin a little, and you can almost hear the rustling leaves outside more distinctly. She then faces you squarely, her gaze piercing. "But that brawl with Kosa? That was stupid. He's got weight and height on you." Yet, a hint of something glimmers in her eyes? "Don't be so reckless next time."

The early winds of autumn swirl outside, perhaps signalling the beginning of new understandings.

Under directions from Elder Tharn, you and Hijon meticulously go about preparing the Knowing Hall for the harsh winter months. This annual ritual was never particularly enthralling; it involved a mix of mundane cleaning, rearranging artifacts, and occasionally casting a minor ward to ensure the preservation of the hall's valuable contents.

As midday sunlight streamed through the small windows, Claro burst into the hall, eyes wide with excitement. His usually calm demeanor is replaced with an animated energy. "While getting the fields ready for the cold season, we stumbled upon something... unusual. An old statue, buried and forgotten," he exclaims, trying to catch his breath. "We've moved it to our barn for now. You really need to come take a look!"

> Investigate the Statue: Intrigued by Claro's evident excitement, you set aside your chores momentarily, signaling Hijon that it might be worth checking out. The allure of a break from this monotonous day is too enticing to resist.
> Send Claro to Tharn: You remember well the recent difficulties between Claro and Tharn after he left the Teachings. Still, it's imperative that discoveries of this kind are reported to the elders. You instruct Claro to inform Tharn immediately.
> Plan a Visit for Later: Ensuring that your work isn't disrupted, you tell Claro, "We'll come see it at dusk, after our duties are fulfilled." It is only a statue, after all.

"It's a bit... vulgar, no?" Hijon remarks with a hint of distaste, her eyebrows knitting together. The statue, conspicuously missing its head, sits forlornly in the dimly lit corner of the barn. Various notches have scarred its surface, and areas of discoloration resemble the marks of ancient wear and tear. "So, Claro, this was what got you this excited?" you tease, the smirk evident in your voice. Claro's face flushes with a mix of defensiveness and embarrassment.

As you get closer, compelled by a sense of curiosity, you feel a subtle thrum of energy emanating from the statue. Despite its crude appearance, the statue appears to be imbued with some residual magic. Hijon catches on, her initial skepticism morphing into a wary curiosity, though she still shoots you a disapproving glare as your hands explore the statue's worn surface.

> Search for the Missing Head: If the statue once held a blessing, perhaps reuniting it with its missing head could renew its power. With the clan in need of any boon these days, it's a lead worth pursuing.

Together, the three of you resolve to seek out the statue's missing head, aiming to reclaim its latent power. But with no clear indication of how long the statue has been hidden beneath the soil, your quest might prove to be a shot in the dark.

> Comb the Fields: Given that the statue's body was discovered in the fields, it's logical to think that the head might be lying close by. A thorough search of the area could lead to the missing piece.
> Explore the Whispering River: Given its proximity to the statue's burial site and its enigmatic energies, the river might hold the answer. Its currents and eddies may have carried the head away, or perhaps hidden it in a tucked-away nook.
> Perform a Divining Ritual: It might be a lengthy process, but with the combined strength and knowledge of the three of you, conducting a ritual to reveal the head's location could be a promising option. If the magic is successful, it could save a lot of guesswork.

Hours of sifting through the riverbed have left you almost ready to abandon the quest for the missing head. Just as hope wanes, a sudden splash breaks the silence; Hijon has taken an unplanned dip. Helping her to her feet, you spot the very object of your search—a distinct stone head—right where she had tripped.

With a deep breath, you send a silent prayer of gratitude to the river, sensing its gentle nudge in guiding you to your discovery.

With the gentlest of motions, you fit the stone head onto its body. The reunion produces a soft thud, and the three of you stand still, waiting expectantly, trying to perceive any subtle shift in the atmosphere or the energy emanating from the statue.

Hijon breaks the silence first, "All that effort and for what?" She shakes her head, water droplets flying from her damp hair. "I'm heading home to dry off." Claro gazes forlornly at the idol, the initial excitement replaced by a hint of disappointment. "I thought there'd be... something. A warmth, a pulse, some indication."

As they depart, you remain, pondering the enigmatic statue before you. Running your fingers over its surface one last time, you distinctly feel a hum of energy—faint but undeniably more potent than before. Entrusting your faith in the guiding hand of the River, you muse: If it led you to this discovery, surely it must hold some benevolent purpose? Time will tell.

The dawn of the adulthood rite is upon you, whereupon the sacred rune of your clan shall be etched into your skin, forever binding your flesh to the Grey Owl clan. You stand before your kin as Galrick, son of Darhn the Hunter, bearing not just your individual identity, but the collective legacy of your proud lineage.

Now as a recognized member of the clan, responsibilities and anticipations befall you. Moreover, Elder Tharn, without hesitation, extends an offer for you to serve as his aide. You would assist in his daily tasks, but you would also attend in the council sessions and engage more deeply in the clan’s rituals, immersing yourself in the profound tapestry of tradition and governance.

You meet your father's eyes, filled with pride yet tinged with reservation.

> Embrace Tharn's Guidance: The road ahead unveils itself, presenting a future firmly rooted within the clan’s structure and under Elder Tharn's guidance.
> Focus on Kin and Kinship: Elect to tread the spiritual path as a clan shaman while prioritizing your familial bonds and nurturing your growing household.
> Find Your Own Path: Neither tethered to Tharn nor remaining close to home, you opt to invoke the rite of pilgrimage, seeking your destiny on less trodden paths.

The assembly is startled by your abrupt declaration of the pilgrimage right, your father most of all. Yet, the clarity of purpose has long taken root in your heart. Your devotion to the clan is intertwined with your spiritual growth as a shaman, and staying within the confines of your familiar surroundings will stifle your potential to truly flourish.

The Whispering River downstream holds the answers you seek; of this, you are certain.

Disbelief within the village swiftly yields to an uplifting swell of well-wishes, as the community shoulders hopes for your journey—few dare to embrace the pilgrimage and all it entails. Preparations for your travel and the gathering of supplies unfold with brisk efficiency, culminating in a heartfelt farewell feast shared with friends and family.

> Revel with the Clan: The Grey Owl clan presents this feast in your honor, a token of well-wishing for your impending travels. Immerse yourself in their heartfelt desires for your safe and fruitful journey.
> Seek Out Fhor: Unspoken emotions have always lingered between you and the headstrong Fhor. Allow these sentiments to flourish one last time before your departure.

"Who knows, maybe once you get back I'll be the one to give you catch-up lessons!" Though Hijon's words are woven with her customary warmth and calm, a subtle sorrow is discernible within her smile.

"I trust you'll discover what you seek, Galrick." Her eyes flicker down, landing on her restless fingers. "Just— promise not to make us wait too long before you come back, okay?"

"I’d loathe to greet you upon your return as an elderly woman."

A red bird of foreboding hue traces in the distant sky. Below it a relentless sun blazes, its heat unforgiving. Winds whip and churn, your bones ground to fine dust.

That recurring dream.

Like so many evenings before, the haunting melodies of the eastern songstress fill the inn, her ethereal notes shrouded in an ancient, enigmatic tongue.

"Your insight was spot-on, shaman. The Zantari raiders were exactly where you said they'd be."

The man pauses as he prepares to depart. "We launch our attack at the break of dawn. You're always welcome to join us, Eel-Eye."

My only suggestion: This is good, I want more, and I want to see if Garlic becomes a folktale character like Crow, Coyote, Anansi or Reynard the Fox, or a Conan sorcerer, banging chicks left and right while either battling a muscular warrior or working alongside him.

Love everything so far, I hope you continue it and I will be watching with great fervor, general questions I have are based around our Village and the culture, what are our people called? Can we get some lore on Varok and Fenara? Im assuming the white eel is more of a local spirit and maybe an aspect of the river more known amongst our people, could we get some more detail on it if we dont have it explored in future threads? Im a huge sucker for your exact type of quest and the setting as well, bravo again and I cant wait for more

>What are our people called?
Not a cohesive nation, more like numerous clans situated upstream of the Whispering River, and they're not all familiar with each other. The quest occurred in the Varukor Valleys, so Varukori could be a name southerners use. But for all practical purposes, you are Clan Grey Owl.

As for White Eel and the star constellations I've left those details vague, to give me some space to expand upon in the future if needed. So there isn't lore yet per se.

Can we get some insight into what we do know from our Shamanic training? I really like the quest but I want to understand Galricks POV especially since weve played him as a superstitious man of the river, I can understand trying to hold up virtues and stuff but what are we basing our superstitions on? Not trying to get a full religious rundown as our village likely doesnt have much organized outside of elder knowledge and local spirits, but what do they mean and affect in Galricks eyes
>>
i love your art ceggy

>>
>>5785413
Fantastic stuff so far. Got to admit, I was expecting us to go on a more of a metaphysical spirit journey than what we ended up doing, unless im understanding the ending wrong, I do hope we get to find out the mystery of the statue though.
