Should we really split the group? I think Garma Zabi may be safer in one of our experienced long distance fighter's zaku then in his GAW, for all we know one of the hands aboard the gaw could be an assasin.

Not to mention there are other high ranking types in the vacinity, we stand a better chance staying and fighting.

It would be wise to train him how to defend himself in the situation that all of his bodyguards are absent yet he shouldn't be on the front lines when there's an assasination attempt. The point of bodyguards is that the individual does not have to do anything except be protected.

The forward thrust is ferocious and you are immiediately pushed straight into your chair. You struggle to control the motion of your Mobile Suit and you jink erratically around.

Impressively the Dom doesn't tip over and maintains it's balance. Which is a good start.

You zip back and forth a couple of times up and down the street to get a feel for it. You then check your street maps again, and begin... skating? Is that the best word towards your destination.

You meet back up with the Gaw in about 20 minutes. Garma has suited up in his Zaku and the along with the rest of your squad is patrolling the local area.

"Well met Liuetenant! We were able to make it the Gaw largely unchallenged, aside from a few light tanks - which Ensign Ringo here dealt with great aplomb."

The enemy planes are turning back. It looks like the local forces have the situation under control. You order the rest of your squad to meet you back at the landing zone.

They arrive about twenty minutes later, none the worse for wear.

You all board your Dodai's and Gaw's and with a strong Dopp Escort (on top of the Gaws standard complement) you make your way back to California...

Especially since they don't train recruits in MS maneouvers by hurling asteroids at them with rail guns like they used to back in your day.

I'm not sure if it's the case at this point in the timeline but at the point where Garma's attempting to take out White Base he and Icelina were in love and he was even willing to leave Zeon so that her father would allow him to marry her.

Needless to say we need to tread very carefully next episode.
