The Fiddle is your bread, and your voice is your butter. You tell stories and sing song, to entertain is your livelihood...

You're on the road again. But now you have a traveling companion. Tabby sits across from you on the other side of you fire. Shes polishing her new axe, and you are tuning Elisabeth. "I've never been so far from home before... But the Stars are pretty."

That has yet to be decided. Colinswealth is the nearest town on your map. And Miranda said it had a wall and was pretty safe. According to the map she gave you it looks like you are about a day and a half from there.
You're still a little more then a week from Vimesholm, which is a medium sized city. Colinswealth is on the way.
Otherwise there are a few villages here and there, but nothign larger then 50 people at most. To the FAR east are the Dwarven mountains, but they are about a month away. You are about two months away from the Elf Lands, and 3 weeks from the Capital City.

After your expenses in the town you just left, you'll have to ask Tabby if it even HAD a name, you have 3 silver and 5 copper.
    >>7517725
You cheery Tabby up with a little song about the open road. She's a bit more relaxed now.
    >>7517872
    Colinswealth it is then!
You start folding up the map and getting settled in.
"Why hello laddies! I couldn't help but hear that fiddle of yours. Now don't bother screaming, there's no one around to hear you. Me and the lads would rather your money then your life, but either way works!"
A man steps forward into the firelight, along with three others. Bandits.

    >>7518013
Right then, stabbing things time! As the man approaches, you take the hidden knife from your boot and stab him... in the balls. He begins screaming and bleeding profusely.
Tabby jumps up and start swinging her axe. They stayed a bit farther away from her though, and she only nicks one of the bandits. The three of them go for her on the backswing, and she punches the wounded one int he face. He goes down hard.
This gives you a chance to stick your new knife in one of the others backs. You aren't trained for this though and it only pisses him off. He stabs at you. Your new padded leather takes the brunt of it, but you are now bleeding.
Tabby, seeing you hurt, grabs the bandit who did it and uses him as a club, against the other bandit.

Their leader is still screaming and bleeding, and the one used as a club us knocked out. The Bandit Tabby hit with her axe, and then the other bandit, surrenders. The last Bandit runs.

Do we look like we have an overseer in our pocket? No. We'll either turn over any captured bandits to the authorities in the next town that we come to, or kill them here. We don't have the numbers or strength to control them in the long-term and cannot allow them to menace other travelers.

    >>7518258
    (good rolls)
You take off your armor and inspect the wound. You are bleeding pretty good and you will have a nasty scar on your midriff, but lucky for you Tabby helped her father with his cows, including when they got cut up. It's not the best patch-job in the world, but you'll stop bleeding now.
You bind and strip the bandits. And after some hesitation Tabby helps the would-be rapist.
Now time to loot them! From them you gain 23 Silver, 3 daggers, a shortsword, and a bow. Also 25 arrows.

You have a bound and unconscious Bandit, a Bandit with a stab wound, and a Bandit who keeps looking from his boss's crotch to your knives. "H-honest miss, I didn't know he was going to do that! We're just highwaymen miss, trying to make a living!"

If it was the one that ran away he might still have our boot dagger and we'll need to get it back because we're not that good with the other dagger.

Crude name I know, but it serves the best ale and food this side of the city. The beds are clean and the price is fair. Its on a small side street off of the main boulevard. And I suggest the Market for preforming. But you better be good, we have plenty of street-performers passing through."

Both of you are dead tired, and hungry. Trail rations will get you by, but they aren't as satisfying as a real meal.
Finding Nobby's Knob, complete with a Staff at the door, with a knob at the end haha, you head inside. Asking about a room, the woman behind the counter hands you a key. "It'll be 1 silver a night for room and board." The Guard wasn't lying, the smell of food makes your mouth water. Tabby heads up to the room, exhausted.

Right, first things first. Scoping out the place.
You pack up Elisabeth and head for the Market. It has the usual, food stalls, supplies, a few weapon and armor dealers, and street performers.
You could easily blow most of them out of the water, but there seem to be a few to keep an eye on. Sitting at the fountain in the center of a Plaza is... well now that;s a first. You see an Elf playing a harp, quite well by the sound of it. At this distance you can't make out much detail
Farther along the street a crowd has gathered. Getting Tabby to hoist you onto her shoulders, you can see a young boy and a dog preforming for the crowd.
And, standing a few stalls away from you, You see a man wearing a ridiculousness colorful outfit, juggling and telling jokes.
