You sleep on the boat as it travels to Sinnoh. And as you sleep, you dream... you see a vast space, full of bizarre shapes. It looks almost like a city, if the placement of buildings didn't have to obey the law of gravity, and had many glowing lines criscrossing through it... and above it all, you hear a voice.
*It is done. Go forth, and carry out my will. See to it that my perfection will never be copied.*

You go to sleep for a while. You do dream, but the dreams are much vaguer this time, and the voice doesn't appear again. Ultimately, you wake up; you can feel that the boat has stopped, and a quick glance shows that Sarina is also asleep. You can also see faint light coming in through the cockpit canopy.

Various things happen, such as Sarina waking up and the group having a swift breakfast in the boat before she starts it again. Eventually, she pulls into a new port, similar to the last one, but with a better harbor and a giant tower looming over the sea.

"Well, where do people take pokemon when they get hurt? You mention Pokecenters earlier and I gathered it was some kind of hospital for pokemon, but you said that they were shut down by the network crash. I guess they would be operating here since it's been restored, but what did they do before that? And can we see one?"
    >> Anonymous 01/10/10(Sun)21:20 No.7530428
    >>7530333

This seems like a good idea. But i question is that how pokeballs really work? I remember in the games, that if you throw a pokeball at another trainers pokemon, the only reason you don't try to catch them is a message that says somthing to the effect of "The other trainer smacked the pokeball away and called you a bitch for trying to steal their pokemon"

Or maybe its different in the anime. I dunno, I never really watched it that much.

Speaking of the anime, would I get any watchers if I decided to stream the show/movies? The answers may decide if i start DLing it or not.

"Before Team Galactic restored the network, people had to make do with stocks of Potions and other items to heal their Pokemon. It was a hard time, but we came through it."

    >>7530428
In my conception, Pokemon are registered with their trainer's ID when they're captured, and when a trainer buys Balls, they're marked with his or her ID. The trouble here is that catching a Pokemon with an "empty" Ball is impossible.
    >> Researcher Sam 01/10/10(Sun)21:23 No.7530477
    >>7530428
Personally, I'd prefer some classic Season 1 episodes to movies, but I'd be willing to catch some of the movies. Except for the third one; that one always creeped me out.
    >> Researcher Sam 01/10/10(Sun)21:26 No.7530522
    >>7530472
So even if we got a pokeball, it wouldn't work because we didn't register a trainer to it. Barring taking the trainer test ourselves, looks like that plan is a bust. Unless we find the pokeballs of someone who is dead,or (and I put this forth as an option but do not myself support it) kill someone for their pokeballs that haven't been used yet.

hey, wow, surprised you started up another thread so soon.

Um, yeah, lets get acquainted with her team and work on getting a job or just information about Rocket and their experiments. Ask Sarina if she has any friends who have been working for Rocket recently.

also, I think some fake pokeballs on Sarina labeled as ours will be more than enough to deter people from trying to catch us. Rocket would be the only ones willing to break that taboo, and that wouldn't matter if we were free or captured anyway, they'll still try to steal us.

Your motorcycle ride there is swift, and feels swifter than the boat ride, as you're exposed to the wind. Magnemite sticks to the side of the bike while Snover hangs onto Sarina's belt next to you. Finally, you arrive in the rocky Veilstone City, parked outside a huge building covered with thornlike protrusions. As Sarina dismounts the motorcycle, you can see several people around wearing strange, silvery uniforms, and there are more of them inside the building.

Shortly thereafter, the man from before returns to Sarina. "I apologize, but we had a slight difficulty with the computers. It appears that--and I ask that you not tell this to anyone else--a trio of Porygon tried to invade our mainframe from within. When its defenses expelled them, they Self Destructed. Yeah, but three Porygons? And who would want to attack Team Galactic? Team Rocket and the Mystery Pokemon are the only two that I can thik of. Maybe Team Magma, but they are being kept in check by Aqua. And I doubt it's an individual trainer because what individual has 3 Porygons and is willing to loose then if they fail the mission? Resources like that seem to be more in the realm of an organization or the BBEG.

I'll have to read through this thread, but from what I can gather the BBEG is some cybernetically-enhanced Pokemon. I thought we were suspecting Porygon-Z at this point, though our characters haven't actually "seen" it at this point - only heard it inside our heads.

As for its motives, it seems to be incredibly hostile towards Humans. It probably has some sort of God complex at this time thinking all Humans as insects.

The Porygons? Well, they're probably being influenced/drawn to the BBEG - since we suspect he's a suped-up version of themselves.

I'm sticking with my Porygon-Z theory. The use of Porygons in the attack seem to support it; an advanced and enhanced pokemon like -Z would probably be able to create Porygons using the advanced computers at the facility we escaped from.

    >>7532974
Which begs to ask another, incredibly frightening question...

Can the BBEG exist anywhere without us knowing it? Could it feasibly travel amongst the vast sea of cyberspace from computer to computer - giving it the ability to show up wherever it wants to mess with us?

I think it can only go to computers that have been 'infected' by him; he told someone (I'm assuming the Porygon strike force) to 'spread my perfection'.
