While inside the Team Galactic base with Sarina and your friends, Magnemite detected a huge power surge right before three Porygons popped out of the main computer and exploded, a scene that you weren't around to witness. Apparently they were trying to infiltrate the system and were kicked out by the computer's defenses.

    What do?

    Fuck yes, Charmander quest.

Once a few more people get here, I will start my livestream channel up with some pokemon movies.

    /zeonquest/old is the channel.

You ask Sarina to relay this to the Galactic guy. He shrugs again, saying that Galactic only knew through Aqua that Rocket had a base there at all.

not much to do right now really. have a little chat with snover and magnemite about the plan from the last thread while Serena debriefs. then we can let her know about our plan and try to get our help
the other option is to run away into the base and try to set the plan running without her help (as we're not sure if she would approve, and could even try to stop us)

We trust Sarina as a Human, but considering our past and the way the character has been motivated/portrayed up to this point, I don't think we would trust anyone to be our "trainer" - at least not yet.

We'll "partner" with Sarina and work with her as a member of the Fellowship, but for now I think Charmander, Snover and Magnemite should be free.

I was pondering over this quest a while ago, and suddenly remembered that Magneton from before that gave off a signal, similar to the one the kamikaze Porygons gave off.
That made me fear for Magnetons safety, as we can not be certain that she is immune to the corruption of the BBEG.
We should probably ask her if there are any ways to protect her from something like that.

Sarina is still riding the bike! If we tell Magnemite to go talk to it, we might lose him. Also, there'd be no reason to talk to a random Pokemon passing by at this point.

If this is the second time we've seen one flying overhead, then we'll most likely see one again. I say we proceed to ride with Sarina.

So you ride, ride ride, ride ride ride, ride ride ride ride, until finally you arrive in the swampy, rainy Pastoria City. The Magneton, who was following more or less your path the whole way south, keeps on flying out over the sea when you turn right at the coast.

Since we're not bothering with stats, we can go by the "level is a modifier" thing.

So..if we were gonna try and break out of a regular pokeball as a level 6, that would be D20+6 against a DC of about 15.

Greatball would be a DC of about 30, and it goes on-plus those specialized pokeballs for capturing specific types or weights or whatever.

Plus it gets us new abilities as we continue to go. Are we going on the "4 moves only" system?

Something that I've learned from studying up on ourselves and our team mates, and wanted to share so that everyone else knows:

Magnemite has the strongest Special Attack out of all of us, more then half again what we have. His HP is very low however, though he has pretty good Defense and decent Sp. Defense. His Attack is about as bad as his HP.

Snover seems to be a jack-of-all-trades, having most of her stats hovering within 10 points of each other. She does have the lowest speed out of all of us, but also the highest HP and with her Sp. Defense and decent Defense can take much more of a hit than Magnemite.

As for us? Well, we actually have the lowest base stats out of the bunch, but we have good Attack and even better Sp. Attack, though our Defense and Sp. Defense suffers. Our speed is top notch.

Yep. Though since she doesn't have any healing, I'm thinking of Snover as more of a Bard.

Hmm, but bards are really wimpy when it comes to HP...
    Maybe some sort of Druid?
