ITT, we create magical trinkets we would like to use in our everyday life. Keep it simple, no invisibility or fireballs.

Me, I'd like a ring that allows me to create grease as the spell. Better than carrying a bottle of lube with me.

A ring that allows me to say that witty comeback line that I'll think of three days later, right here, right now.

A ring that signals me discretely when I'm about to do something foolish.

A ring that allows me to temporarily freeze in a sort of stasis, returning only when something interesting happens, so whenever I have to wait for something, it won't drain my life expectancy.

A ring that uses minor telekinesis to scratch any itch I please.

A ring that gives directions, like a GPS, except it works on smaller scales too, thus allowing me to find objects within an abode, ie locate my keys.

A ring that warms whenever a cute girl is nearby, squeezes whenever a nice girl is nearby, and spins slightly whenever a smart girl is nearby. When all three activate at once, it can be transformed into a wedding ring with a mild enchantment of the receiver's choice.

A ring that can unfold into any tool that would fit in your palm.

An intelligent ring with an adorable personality who has the entire Wikipedia archive at hand.

A ring that repels animals your specify, and makes you amiable to another set you also specify, thus allowing you to make bugs stop crawling on you or befriend that skittish kitty.

A ring that allows you to convert trash into small amounts of energy, be it heat, electrical, or caloric.

A ring that lets you sit or lie comfortably in any position, anywhere.

A ring that lets you intuitively know exactly how to stack objects so that they don't fall over.

A ring that identifies the source and cause of noises, thus letting you know what's scratching in your attic or why your car is squeaking.

Some rings aren't for fingers. *wink wink, nudge nudge*

But you are right. Other items!

A hat which makes everyone stop for a moment and think "That is an awesome hat."

Boots which distribute the weight perfectly to keep your feet from aching.

A pouch which allows you to pull money directly from your stash/account/whatever, but has a single advantage; you always pull out exact change for a transaction.

Pants which conform exactly to a shape necessary to make your behind look might fine.

A ball which instantly appears in your hand whenever you have the urge to hurl something at an annoyance.

A rug that slowly shifts anything on top of it to rearrange furniture and objects as you desire, without heavy lifting.

A sleeping bag that cannot get wet, cannot be punctured, and provides a comfortable rest wherever it is deployed.

A DVD that plays whatever you feel like; a comedy in a happy mood, action movie when you want explosions, etc, and only plays movies you have seen if you want it to.

A glove which, when pointed in a direction and accompanied by a phrase similar to "Look over there!", conjures a distracting image at the indicated area.

An earring that translates languages you hear. Doesn't let you speak it, but gives you the synopsis of what they said.

Glasses which catch the light in a dramatic fashion upon command.

A shirt that displays a new witty slogan every day.

A reading lamp which remembers the last page you were on.

A satin sheet which links the physical sensations of anyone touching it.

A folder that, when opened, displays an animal with an amusing facial expression and a caption of your choice.

A small stone which, when placed in your pocket, emits background music for whatever activity is taking place, which seems to come out of thin air.

A candy dish that bites the hand of anyone you don't like to prevent them from stealing any.

Tourist's Ring - Allows you to speak and understand any language fluently, automatically translating to your language of choice. Accents will remain, and would be the equivalent of if the speaker took a few years in the language course of your choice.

Glasses of Revelation - While wearing these, one can see an "aura" around people, indicating hostility, friendliness, neutrality, etc with w/e color coding that feels most natural. It also gives a slight visual distortion around people that are lying.

Pendant of RNG - Once a day, for 1 action, if a certain amount of luck, no matter how unprobable, as long as you can visualize the events necessary to achieve it, you will succeed at one task. (i.e nothing like take over the world or mind control people, just small things like how a deck of cards will have to shuffle for you to win, how perfect you will have to land to survive, etc).

On men, a thick, full beard and moustache pattern will also grow out, even if the man is genetically predisposed to have little or no facial hair.

You could have, and try, any hairstyle you wanted, as many times as you wanted, facial hair included. Also (and no offense to the guy who made it because I think it's a cool item too): no bobby-pin to stick in your hair, so people with pattern baldness or buzz cuts can use it, too.

Mirror of Pride: Without outside interference, anyone who sees themselves in this mirror will continuously preen and pose in front of this mirror.

Pillow of Sloth: Until removed from this pillow, anyone who rests their head upon it will be forever drowsy and unmotivated.

Collar of Lust: While worn, the user will have an unlimited libido and endless energy. However, the wearer will over time have more and more of their focus turned to sex and eventually lose all self-control.

Plate of Gluttony: Any food eaten from this plate will nourish the user without causing them to become full.

Purse of Greed: There will always be money in this purse, however every piece of currency pulled out of it will cause the one who pulls it out to be cursed. This curse is relative to the amount of money removed a the time, and will stack with previous similar curses. As the curse worsens, the user feels that only they deserve wealth and will try to acquire all the money they can. The final stages cause the user to turn into a dragon, you decide how that happens.

The Key to the Manor: This ornate key, when placed into any vaguely key-sized hole, will open a door to a persistent Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion. There are always enough rooms to comfortably hold another person. Time spent in the Mansion passes at the same rate as time outside, although no occupant of the Mansion ages any further. The one exception is a room near the entrance.
Whenever the door to this room is closed, time passes at a greatly accelerated rate inside the room as compared to outside. Great for finishing up anything that you wouldn't normally have time for, such as catching the 8 hours of sleep you missed, or finishing up that great book before work, at the cost of draining that much more time from your life. To any outside observer, anyone using this room will enter, close the door, then immediately re-open the door having aged by whatever duration they chose to stay inside.
This key has a mysterious tendency to become an heirloom object, and any current owner always seems to find a key-sized hole near the end of their life that they use, then leave the key in for the next generation. The Mansion is always big enough that disagreeable occupants never trouble others.

Any occupant of the Mansion has the option of leaving via the front door, which opens to the last place the key is used, or leaving via any of the uncountable number of side doors, which exit to all the places the key has previously been used. If the location that a door opens to is hazardous (eg on fire, under water, buried, currently being shot at, etc) then the doorknob is uncomfortable to the touch, but will still open. Any door opened into a hazardous environment never disrupts the rest of the Mansion with that environment; hazardous side-doors tend to be in their own rooms/alcoves that contain the hazard.
Because aging resumes when one leaves the Mansion, those who entered at the end of their life have no real desire to leave, instead preferring to stay and socialize with their other ancestors.

Yeah, basic premise is just this kind of place to hang out away from the stress & hectic pace of life. Anyone that's been there always thinks back fondly on it, and rather than just die at the end of their life, tends to end up in the Mansion. Thus it's a great place to hang out with your ancestors & get sage advice, with that one room for you to pop into to finish any project you didn't have enough normal time for. Oh, and I can't help but imagine everyone in Victorian English garb & mannerisms, sipping tea and carrying on wonderfully meaningless conversations...

Pretty sure the spell M's Mansion comes with a bunch of Unseen Servants.
    PHB pg 256:
The place is furnished and contains sufficient food-
stuffs to serve a nine-course banquet to a dozen people per caster level. A staff of near-transparent servants (as many as two per caster level), liveried and obedient, wait upon all who enter. The servants
function as unseen servant spells except that they are visible and can go anywhere in the mansion.
Since the place can be entered only through its special portal, outside conditions do not affect the mansion, nor do conditions inside it pass to the plane
    beyond.
