NOTE: My home Internet connection is down for the count, so I'll only have the few hours I have at the library to do this quest until further notice. To compensate, I might start doing them daily again.

Anyway, last time, Sarina just finished copying out her contact information onto a piece of paper, because her Poketch is possibly infested by Z. Also, the planned raid on Mauville City is in jeopardy because Z warned Team Magma of possible intruders.
    What do?

We continue with the plan. Scout the area and begin looking for a place for our new hideout while we await reinforcements.

All right. You're currently on Route 123; the immediate area consists of lots of young-looking grass and not much else, although there are a few swathes that look burned. You do see something several yards away that appears to be the burned-out remains of a house, that was later rebuilt by someone else.

You put forth this idea to Sarina, who agrees, and the bunch of you walk forward towards the house. As you do so, you see a red-clad human figure exit it, looking around.

The figure turns, and you see that it's female. She tenses as Sarina approaches, but Sarina holds up her hands, asking her not to be frightened. The other woman untenses somewhat, but narrows her eyes.
"Have you been sent out on a contract with Team Magma?"

Well, let's think of a plan. I suppose we should try to find a map of the city so that we can better get an idea of its layout.

Actually, I assumed that a group that has been working to oppose a false front would already have a map. which is why we should probably ask this Team Magma member if she has one before we do anything rash.

The ever-loyal Magnemite does do so, and you walk into the building. It's dark, ashy and empty, with several patches of roof missing, but the Magma woman seems undeterred. She walks over to a blank spot on the floor and pulls on a concealed trapdoor, revealing a ladder going down below. You can hear murmurs of machinery and human voices from below.

"We've managed." The ladder leads into a fairly large, hot room, illuminated by harsh light from the ceiling. Several more red-uniformed people are milling around, some apparently engaged in Pokemon battles, but two near the ladder look up, immediately walking over, and one of them speaks. "Courtney, ma'm!"

She goes over to an open computer, turning it on. "The generator area, also known as New Mauville, is southeast of the city proper and surrounded by water.
