Masked Enigmaman appears after Knifehelmet sees a raven go past, right? Thirdwheel is mentioned as using ravens as messengers.

Next, Enigmaman uses a jagged spearwhip, which is a really rare weapon only a few people ever know how to use. It's hinted at that Thirdwheel is one of those guys.

Except once the novelsagas get going, they establish that the victorysong of the Paladinbloods is actually a dreamwreath that the blooddying Captainregent Mountwhore is having, and, due to her immense psychomind powerthoughts, created as halfreal dreamwanderers.

As a result, both were true in actual canon, with the dreamwanders slowly turning into halfbrood controlpuppets.

Of course, you'd know that if you really paid attention to the novelsagas.

Except you apparently missed the part where Woundstabber's master, Fleshtaker, was using the Seven Shards of the Devildemons to create his own infernohell planeworld, which tainted half of the dreamwanderers into nightmarebringers which killed fully half of the rest of the dreamwanderers.

That guaranteed that Woundstabber's victory at Fightplace would be absolute.

It would have been, if it wasn't for the Halfbrood, who controlled all of the Dreamwanderers despite the Infernoblooded Taintsickness. They merely pretenddecoyed to killmind each other.

Woundstabbers victory was complete, but the Controlpuppet Dreamwanderers and Nightmarebringers serve the Halfbrood utterly, which leads up to the upcoming Halfbrood Deathfail novelsagas quite well. It's been implied that Woundstabber is going to have to joinally the last of the Paladinbloods in Fleshtaker's Swampfire demiverse, to create a resistance forcearmy to keep the Halfbroods and their minions from timewrecking all of existance.

Everyone knows the worst thing they did was add in Hammermol.

    A Dorf +1
Not weilding a hammer or Axe +1 for defying convention.
    Making it Mourningdeath -9000+

I mean the original canon said it could only be weilded by a human who was originally a PaladinBlood who had fallen and not become a halfbrood.

this is the reason that Extended Universe is really considered so uncanon.

A.... Dorf? What do you mean, a dorf?

Surely you must mean a deerlicked housedorf or a forgesurged rocksong hilldorf?

Actually I think he was a Magmaforge Chasmdwarf (one of the best ones in the original and XU that follows the movies/show), I forget, the writing in that book was so bad I swear it was written by someone who came from a universe where Paolini and Meyer had a kid who took both suckitudes and decided to write for a fairly awesome setting.

that being said the Geoffrey Cain books were good, nice to not have adjectivenoun adjectivenoun for a main character.

Right, because having some gary stu author insert from the paraside dimensionworld Earth come in JUST SO THAT THEY COULD DEFY THEIR ESTABLISHED FLUFF is a great fucking idea. Seriously, those books were shittier than the Gutfucker Crunchwall sagarape, and that was aimed at fucking children, man.

Oh please, he was just another zealot of the Darksnake of Wardeath cult. So two dimensional.
    >> Anonymous 01/22/10(Fri)13:01 No.7719168
    >>7719092

I meant from a writing standpoint, not like the obvious shitfest I described, the original creator said that the only thing cannon was a magmaforge having that sort of name and predilection for swords.

And no Geoffrey Cain isn't an author insert Gary Stu, hell it's called that because you get to see the characters from commandercaptain of the forceguard's point of view, and makes even the original characters look mary sue-ish by comparison.

that being said, anyone know when the next good book is gonna come out, or the possible planning for the next film?

Skitterscale wasn't. You're thinking of Shatterknees Calfbiter.

Skitter was the one that didn't jive with the Darksnakes or the burgeoning Hornedlizard cult. He just wanted slutmates and cashmoneys...
    >> Anonymous 01/22/10(Fri)13:04 No.7719193
heh Skitterscale, sooooo wanna see rule 34 of him and the high priestess in that ONE scene... you know which one I mean.

Right, a Parasider from Earth who becomes Comandercaptain of the fucking FORCEGUARD, is a doulbe agent of the Wardeath cult and has the same NAME AS THE AUTHOR (when the standard ghostwriter boilerplate is stripped away) is totally not a Gary Stu.
