    You are Hxu-2891 Lobsterman soldier, freshly out of the cloning facility.     Recollection:
    The humans began to siege your craft from the south and east the west and north are blocked by mountain walls. Soldier 68 is on the top of the craft in a sniper position he took out 2 hostiles and threw a grenade south where enemy fire has pinned soldier 79 to the southwest corner of the craft. Human death cries were heard confirming kills.

    Learning from yesterday’s confusing storytelling I decided to make it easier for the players and will not burden you with the management of the whole squad. It just makes everything more complicated and slower and less of a quest, while there are still a lot of things that await you. You may still give out orders whenever you wish.     While 68 is shooting receives the coordinates for the hostile and also attempts to take a shoot at it.

    While you are doing this the navigator decides to go back to the bridge and continues to scan the ship and gather information.

    The medic suddenly opens up with a bold plan
    Medic: Squad leader 5572 condition is still alive. Permission to attempt and use a Cryogenic chamber from cargo holds to preserve 5572 before permanent death.

    The medic quickly departs to the top floor and with the help of Navigator they move Leader’s corpse down the bottom floor. After some struggle with the cyro chamber he realizes it was not powered up before and that the ship has no readily available internal power connection that can help with this. He reports this situation to you.

    Both 68 and 79 fire and the second shot is a direct hit that sends the human to the sandy sea grave. Meanwhile the one on the south has disappeared from sight.

    68 also reports that he can make out the rear of the previously seen human craft in the distance where the southern hostile arrived from. Estimated coordinates transmitted.

    The cloud starts to settle down and 79 reports 3 human corpses to the south.

    You go back to the roof where 68 is monitoring the area he reports no news.

    The 61 technician reports that the ship is powered by the twin Ion Accelerator engines that both serve as engines and power generators without them only a minor backup power is on. Left engine is offline due to combat damage, the right engine is functional. The power a single engine should be enough to charge any machinery that is in teh cargo hold but this method requires solving several technical problems to work.

    The two technicians quickly agree that this could work. One notes to you that this will surely lengthen the repairs before takeoff as they will have to put everything back as it was after this. They quickly rush down to the bottom floor and start to open panels and cargo crates. They will need several long cables to transfer power because the cyro is located on the lefts side and is secured to position and moving it would be too difficult.

    Meanwhile on the top you and 68 look for more attackers but everything is peaceful and quiet and like they say it in the moves it s just too quiet. Then out of nowhere 68 catches a glimpse of movement but this is time it is really close. The two humans that moved behind the wooden walls earlier are now here they jump out of cover for a second and both throw a grenade straight to the roof where you and 68 are standing guard.

    With almost an instinctive command you order a charge at the hostiles, the two of you boldly jump from the top of your ship and open fire while falling but neither of you hits as the human already moved back behind cover. The grenades detonate behind you harmlessly, this explosion was not like the grenade you used. It comes a moment of relief to realize that while the humans are now using sonic weapons like you do their grenades are still not as strong as yours.

    Noticing you two jumping down 79 wastes no time and rushes to join you.

    You yourself miscalculated the jump in the hurry and landed in front of the wooden walk while 68 landed at its side. The two humans are intimidated by your bravery they quickly raise their guns but 68 has the initiative and he fires.

    Number 68 shoots but misses entirely then charges the hostiles for melee action, while he is at it you curse your luck for this wall. Summoning all the rage you have in your body you charge into the wooden wall with all your lobster might. Surprisingly it bends to your will and simply falls over. These wooden boards probably sunk to the bottom centuries ago and are fragile. The humans are taken by surprise once again when they shoot at 68 who ducks and manages to avoid the blast. Your terrible presence causes them to panic, you charge at the closer one and grab him with your two large pincers and easily cut his limbs off painting a red cloud. You finish him by ripping his head off sending a large bubble up towards the surface when his diving helmet is removed.

    The other one goes berserk and start to shoot around uncontrollably until 68 disarms him and dismembers him with cold blood.

    Number 79 arrives to aid you but there is nothing left for him, after noting that you finished these two. As by your order he looks southwards for cover and finally sees the human craft with two standing guard on the two sides. Their fighting morale must be falling like a rock but this time however the initiative is on their side and both opens fire at 79.

    While this is going on the two technicians are busy working on getting power to the cyro chamber. The picked apart several cables welded them together and isolated them with hardening liquid plastics. One picked a part the power panel of the cyro chamber and is now trying to connect with the makeshift wire the other cut a hole into the wall of the ship and now tries to find the idea power cables to connect.

    One of the two shots hits 79 straight at the chest and he stumbles back and falls from the force of the hit but thanks to his Lobsterman armor and stamina he recovers immediately and rolls behind the two rocks that are behind him for cover.

    You and 68 take your weapons and run to the nearest rock and you get a chance to open fire on the two remaining enemies.

    The technicians manage to connect the ship’s power to the cable but the cyro is a much more delicate machine than they expected. The two are not working together to connect the power and Navigator goes back to the bridge. Medic is injecting his last dose of stimulant to the Leader hoping to buy a few more minutes.

    Your shot misses it s mark but 68 does it again, the human on the east side collapses when his diving helmet is shattered by the sonic blast. The suppressing fir from 79 hits the craft but not the last human. Seeing that he is outnumbered the human jumps back and rolls over behind their craft for safety.

    The two technicians finally manage to connect everything together. The navigator brings life to the engine and tries to be very careful to power up as the makeshift power source that they built and the cyro is not designed for the engine’s output. Very carefully the cyro comes to life and unlocks itself, the medic opens it and examines it quickly. It seems to be in perfect condition but it has to reduce temperature to the freezing levels before it can be used.

    You finally get your chance to use your DPL, with your back to the rock you connect your interface with the weapon and program the waypoint coordinates, this takes much longer than shooting your rifle but is guaranteed to yield explosive results. Number 68 is on guard but no activity registered from the human craft. Everything is ready you launch the missile and it travels to the target coordinates.

    A flash an d violent explosion shakes the ground as the human gets vaporized in the explosion. After you come out from cover you see that the human craft survived the blast and moreover sustained little damage from it.

    Side note: I tested this in game and the Triton is really seems to survive the DPL impact so I ll take this.

    you've obviously never played terror from the deep. Lobstermen are space-marine tough. it takes either monomolecular drills heated so they're white hot or heavy sonic cannon to even have a chance of hurting one.

    Getting back to the story

    You and 68 see no activity from around the craft anymore, 79 reports no visible activity from his position either.

    Then the unexpected happens, the human craft’s engines light up and start to roar, the sudden burst current almost pushes you off your feet but does not harm you. The human craft starts to lift off from the ground and turn towards the East. It seems that they have given up on you this time but they too value their craft and rather retreat from the fight than leave I out here.

    Medic reports that Leader is in cyro and that the chamber is working so far but he is still not sure if Leader will survive. The technicians worked a hell lot to put the ship back together but with the help from everyone they managed to get the engines to work again. They said it should take around 30-60 minutes but in fact it took more than 4 hours until you are finally airborne again since you decided to collect the human bodies and equipment. The Navigator has hard time controlling the USO on his own but it is doable as long as no new interruptions occur.

    Navigator asks you which way to go, either original destination and deliver cargo or back where you started. Your original destination is actually a fully operating colony so he suggests that you complete the mission and deliver cargo.

    You arrive to the colony surprising everyone, your ship was expected lost due to the human attack. It is not rare that the humans intercept the supply and attempt to starve the colony’s needs.

    The colony commander regrets that you lost half the squad and that the ship is in such a state. In fact the team will have to work for a week to get it working again. Most of the supplies you brought were much needed the Zrbite especially.

    What the commander did not like is that you brought human corpses, he reminds you that there are harvesting missions with the appropriate craft for that specific purpose and that the Aquatoids are in charge of such operations. The human equipment did not impress him much either he ordered it to be stashed in a random storage room for later use claiming that the colony has got at least a hundred other things to manage right now.

    that is correct the sync itself does not count to the maximum you can support

    Ok so here it is but that is all I say now

    Leader 2 will get you a Bio drone and a Leader Interface key which is pretty much the one you have just opens higher grade security things. But also you must expect that you will most probably have to take command at missions which will mean a harder time quest wise. Less soloing more squad work more complicated quest.

    Tech 2 will get you an advanced tech box and you will be able to use and repair machines you know, like craft, equipment cyro and such or go to a workshop and do shit. You might even be able to create new things but I will deduct ZP for that depending on how great they are.
