    69 KB PRIMARCH QUEST PART 7 That Motherfucking Goblin !XGZ8nDwSYI 04/01/10(Thu)22:32 No.8924172
    Previous Thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/8904549/

You are Rachnus Rageous, Primarch of the II Legion, the Desert Fangs. You are a Null, as are a good portion of your marines - And at this point, at the height of the Horus Heresy, you and your legion's unique capabilities may well prove to be the Imperium's most valuable weapon.

Your homeworld has been destroyed by the Sky Serpents Legion, working under the instructions of Horus, mistakenly believing him to still be loyal. In retaliation, you destroyed the Sky Serpents down to a man, taking their Primarch, Tialoc, into custody on your battle-barge. Now, your fleet in orbit above Isstvan V, you must gather what loyalist survivors of the Dropsite Massacre remain, consolidate, and make haste to Terra.

Oh, and you had to inter Fal in a Sky Serpents dreadnought. So yeah, that sucks.

ANYWAY. Tialoc is in custody, and you can detect signs of survivors in the wreckage in orbit.

Naw, he needs one of those pointlessly sadistic primarch punishments, like being nailed to the prow of the ship but kept alive forever while every time it enters the warp, tiny daemons pick at his eyeballs.

Tlaloc committed genocide but he did it under orders from Horus who (he assumed) was still loyal. We must help Tlaloc to rebuild his forces, even though it seems there like there will always be enmity between our forces.

If we can't find them in a brief scan. continue to Terra.

    Fair enough.

You tell him to get up and come with you, promising to help him rebuild his Legion and stick a boot up Horus' ass in the process, as you escort him to the medbay. Along the way, you encounter a number of your own marines, and you can't help but admire their self-control at not jumping his ass and tearing him to pieces.

As you enter the medbay, you can see Corax lying in a bed, his armor removed and a number of tubes hooked into him, with Vulkan sitting next to him, similarly clad in just a robe as he monitors his brother's life signs. You and he both know that it's unneccesary, since the machine will alert the apothecaries if anything goes wrong, but it seems to help him keep his mind off things. Standing at the foot of the bed, as a sort of honor guard, is what you realize is one of the surviving Iron Hands marines, a sergeant by the looks of it.

Though realistically, they'd probably just orbitally bombard us. For that matter, since so damn much of 40k space technology depends upon use of the warp, we'll be basically screwed if we go too far with the null thing- no astropaths, no navigators, what have you.

    OR WAS IT?
Maybe it is a troll. Maybe not.
Even I am familiar with the art of trolling.
    Guessed what it is yet?
    Or still confused?
Never know what I have planned.

I love how you drop this spoiler at the end of the thread, when it's already on autosage and next to no one is left to see it.

Of course! Alpharius cloned himself, spliced the genes with a null, and used advanced Warp technology to send this new baby primarch thousands of years back in time, specifically to ensure that the events of the Horus Heresy take place as he wishes them to- as he remembers them, in fact, because it's a stable time loop. To ensure that this was so, he came back in time himself as well in order to look after things.

Alpharius is both us and Omegon, AND he's on our ship as both us and himself. That cunning bastard!
