Where we are now: In the previous Quests, we purchased our new GBHQ, Which is an old 1960s City Bomb Shelter. Its about 50ft Underground, with an above ground parking Area. It was in rather poor condition with a small infestation of Gremlins. The Brave GB Team managed to trap one gremlin, and then negotiate a relocation truce with the Remaining Gremlin and her 3000+ Eggs. Which were relocated in the dead of night to the City Dump.

They generally stay in any area with an artificial boundary around it. They have a massive breeding season about once a year. There is a current theory that this breeding season is directly related to release dates of the most popular technological item of the year. They are thought to be related to or even a sub species of brownies or boggans, both of which have had friendly relations to humans. During WWII some mechanics claimed to have befriended gremlins, taking them on a bomber or fighter mascots. The Squadrons doing this did have noticeably fewer mechanical failures.

Walter runs the MK.1 PKE meter over the Note just to be sure, and there is indeed a very feint PKE trace on it, as if the paper or possibly ink on the note was exposed to large amount of PKE energy in the not too distant past.

This isn't exactly relevant to our current situation, but there's something that's been bothering me.

Pine Box is a high risk area for paranormal activity because 100 years or so ago, half of the town spontaneously died under mysterious circumstances.

I think it would be highly beneficial to our operation if we were more intimate with the town's history, it coudl give us clues as to what might be out there. As I understand it, most of our current knowledge into the town's past comes from old legends and rumor.

Is there a library or something where we could do some research? We could look for tragic events that might have spawned some unruly spirits -- fires, train wrecks, plagues, stuff like that.
(Obviously not something that needs to be done RIGHT NOW, but maybe in the near future)

Momma Gremlin points to the trunk of an old car.

You try to impress the mental idea of an exchange of services. She keeps an eye out for "Romulans or Klingons" Crossing over into federation space, and she will receive Historical artifacts of the great Kirk.

You place the trap in to trunk of the car, and close the lid, once you are at the full length of the pedals cord, you open the trap.

    *BZZWUP!*

There is a screeching and clanging, the sound of metal being hit and torn....

Momma Gremlin quickly slides in to the trunk, lifting the lid just enough for slip in....

After a couple of seconds, the screeching and banging calms down, a chittering exchange between the two seems to take place, some cooing and eventually a rythmic bang clang beings to come from the trunk, the car shakes a little each time.

What will you do now Ghostbusters?

The proton stream is a positively charged stream of mainly protons, that latch on to the negatively charged Ectoplasm of ghosts. When a Ghost is struck by the beam it is literally shorted out, resulting in vaporization of the ectoplasmic body, faster then the ghost can replenish it. Some Ghosts have a large reserve of PKE that must be siphoned or drained off by repeated use of the Proton back, before it can be held immobile in the particle streams for trapping.
