So /tg/, how does it feel knowing that all PDFs of Nobilis 3e have been taken down from stores like DriveThruRPG, an ePub version of it has been released WITHOUT the work of one "artist" (the one who contributed the most drawings to the book, no less), and the print version of Nobilis has been delayed by 2-3 weeks because of an art tracing scandal?

At this rate, /tg/'s "non-weeaboo version" is going to be released before Nobilis hits print.

    >But he isn't the artist that I need contact information for; I need a link to the full image and ideally contact information for the creator of the Touhou fan art in question.

    >So, I have the technical OK to pull the PDF, strip Xiao Bai's art from the ePub, and delay the printing, hopefully only by a couple of weeks, while we replace Xiao Bai's pictures with---let's say stick figures, for now, until we hear back from our artists.
    >However I really do need to see the original pic and link first, if at all possible.

a.) Many artists use other peoples' photos or artwork as inspiration or pose references. While this is an accepted practice, some take it a bit too far and outright trace things.
b.) because the original artist isn't getting credit or money for their work and that's BAD.

The real crime is the fact that we know from his previous works that Greg Land can actually draw, it's just that working for Marvel for so long has basically caused him to go "oh what's the point".

Liefields a dick anyway. The guy broke contract with Marvel, took all of their good artists with him, and went and founded his own comic-book studio after almost a decade of Marvel blowing smoke up his ass and treating him like the Sun King. Often to detriment of the writers attatched to him, even longstanding ones who'd been with the company for decades and had helped make several of their biggest franchises what they were today.
