!!O+eQDn0BBx8 04/07/11(Thu)01:42 No.14503576Tedious, boring, predictable. But not actively malicious, you suppose. A small change and all of the alerted Kamada tumble to a stop, falling into a dead sleep and crashing into the ground. At the same time you survey the council; “I have dealt with the reinforcements you summoned. I suggest not doing so again.” You brush away some dust that has begun collecting on the front of your robe as they sit agog before continuing, “Your recompense will be to cancel the contracts and ensure that no harm comes to them within this city, allow them to depose the magistrate or guild owner, and speed them on their way afterward. You will not follow or spy upon them, and if you are detected doing so I will return.”
You smile your best Evil Overlord smile and are suitably pleased as several of the council members blanch, despite likely being hardened assassins themselves, “You do not want that. Have we reached an understanding?”
One of the council members nods, “Yes. Your deal is... generous, of course. Might I know the name of our, ah, benefactor? This could be the start of a mutually beneficial relationship I believe.”
“No.” With that you dematerialize, shatter the telepathy ward, and wake the Kamada members. The following chaos is extremely rewarding, as is the immediate orders for the recall of the journeyman team, dispatch of agents to watch over the safety of your heroes, and rampant speculation on what you are. The consensus seems to be a god who has managed to penetrate the organization’s wards, though they do agree that it's possible you are a truly ancient and powerful wizard as well. |
