You and the DRV head back up the road towards where you were attacked. You find the healthy raptor chewing on the body of the hurt one. Every once in a while the hurt one makes a halfhearted lunge with his neck to attack the healthy one, but the healthy one just ignores it.

"Well now, this is convenient." Muldoon takes out a rifle and fires a tranq into the raptor, getting it right in the neck. It seems stunned and has time to look over at the vehicle and hiss before falling over asleep.

Him and another member of the crew get out and walk over to the tranqed raptor. Muldoon pulls out a hunting revolver and ends the gutted raptor's misery.

As they're getting ready to lift the body, you notice some movement in the bushes.

You draw your pistol and shout out a warning just as two raptors burst from the foliage and charge Muldoon and the other crewman. You also hear the rustle of leaves behind you.

You quickly aim and fire your .44 and spin around to see a raptor jump from the side of the road and take the gunner off of the machine gun. They land on the other side of the jeep, the man is screaming.

You leap onto the DRV and fire a round into the raptor's head, blowing its brains all over the asphalt. The downed crewman starts spitting out blood and grey matter.

You hear the high pitched cry of the last raptor and look to see that it has Muldoon pinned to the ground.

We got suckered by a pack of animals.

Be ready to help Muldoon if it looks like he's slipping, but ask the DRT if he's okay.

You line up a shot and get ready to fire when the raptor's head shoots down and bites Muldoon's neck. The shriek of teeth on metal fills your ears as you see Muldoon grab onto the raptor's throat and push it off of him before drawing a hunting knife from its sheathe and embedding it into the raptor's neck. The raptor's eyes widen as blood spills from it's neck before it falls off of Muldoon.

The DRT that was with Muldoon is shouting for help, the raptor you shot landed on him.

The DRT next to you seems alright, though he's pretty bruised up. Muldoon is fine, aside from a bunch of scratches and a drool covered safari shirt.

Now, if that was the last raptor, grab the medkit from the vehicle and see if anyone needs help.

Fuck year, Muldoon. Pull the dead raptor off that guy and check him for injuries. If he's hurt, we'll get the first aid kit to help him.

You walk over and help lift the raptor's body off of the crewman, who scrambles out and offers a thanks before catching his breath.

The other crewman stands up and is demanding mouthwash as you grab the medkit.

The toeclaw of the first raptor managed to lacerate the arm of the crewman that was pinned, but that's the extent of the serious injuries. The rest are bruises, cuts, and scrapes.

they made six, a dino tracking program suggested thar there were 20 someodd but was shrugged off as buggs. so far we have been witnessed/killed 12-15 raptor deaths. there are probably another 5-8 raptors left

You load up the raptor in the back seat of the DRV and thank Muldoon for the revolver.

"Heh, like I said, you need it." He looks down at himself. He's covered in dirt, blood, and dino drool.

"Ugh, I need a shower."

He climbs into the drivers seat of the DRV, with the rest of the crew hopping in.

"See you around." They drive off. You climb into the Explorer and drive off to the Bungalows. Nothing more happens on the way. You pull up and can see a large crowd of workers around a small stage. Emmanuel and Juan are up there talking about....something. You recognize wiring diagrams on white boards sitting on an easel.

Aside from them, there appear to be only Security on patrol around the complex.

Get our tranq pistol's air resovoir recharged. And see if we can get a second tranq pistol, too, and some more darts.
Also a tranq rifle, if we can snag one.

Wave in greeting to Emanuel and Juan. We might have our differences, but now that the two have seen what the Park is really like, I think we can work with them.

Finally, ask Dispatch where the workers we're supposed to pick up are currently.

You head to the supply office and recharge your pistol's air using a compressor.

Talking to the quartermaster about getting more weaponry.

"Why do you need a second pistol, or a rifle, or more darts? You have plenty with you."

"Look, you've got a perfectly fine defense in that pistol, I barely have enough to go around to all these workers. I sure as hell am not giving you an extra and leave someone without a weapon."

fine, lets reload all weapons (except rocket launcher) after doing any cleaning or maintince that they may need. then go do whatever were supposed to do here.

Asking a guard leads you to the bungalow you were assigned to. They must have assigned all the English speakers to one bungalow. Entering the building brings a bout of cursing.

"Goddamnit! Shut the damn door, you're letting the cold air out." Sounds like he's from the Southwest.

There are four people in the room, two of them are playing cards at the table. One of them is ransacking the fridge, and the last is rummaging through your belongings.

"Ugh, there's not a damn drop of booze on this island, is there!?"
