I played the Free Weekend of Brink. Lordo mighty, glad I didn't buy it when it was being hyped. What a frustrating, repetitive, unfun experience. I got some basic unlocks, grabbed some achievements, and burned away the data.

Yeah, theyve done some rebalancing so its not as bad. But it was a great concept, with poor execution. Where it really shines is visually. I love its art style and aesthetic design, i just cant get enough.

Plus, the world and story concept is fucking fantastic, nice shades of grey morality, realistic motivations. The campaign dosnt really elaborate a ton on it. But there's a bunch of 'audio logs' from people from all different walks of life on the ark. So much depth and potential, I really hope the idea/setting of ARK dosnt die with the game.

You slowly count the time on your watch. Its a good 6 minutes and around 20 seconds when you hear the shouting getting closer. You then see the first of the rioters cross your field of vision. He's too fast for you to get a good shot at his knees, but he's knocked on his back as a big, black arm as big as his chest shoots out of the display window infront of him and smashes his face in with a can of paint. J'hamon laughs deeply as he doesnt even shout as he's smashed.
The main horde is coming, but its certainly not anything you can handle.
