    Last Time, on CON-QUEST.

We went through creating the not-so-lovable scamp by the name of CLIFFORD HENDERICHSON WALLERWALT THE FOURTH. You woke up in the box you call home and went to visit your best friend Miss Serket, a rather violent young Lady who had convinced her father, a good Con-Maker in his own right, to teach you the trade. Infringing on her hospitality, you snuck up to her room whilst she was changing and stole a scandalous peek at her lady bits, for shame. Unnoticed, you sneaked downstairs, and after she cleaned your rather filthy face, you did...what exactly?

    STATBLOCK
    Name: Clifford Henderichson Wallerwalt IV
    Charm: 7
    Quickness: 7
    Grit: 1
    Wealth: 5 shiny coppers.
    Minions!
Miss Serkei: Loyalty Level: BEST FRIEND
"Dog": Loyalty Level: GOOD DOG. SECOND BEST FRIEND.

    RULES AND THINGS TO KNOW

To do strenuous actions with a good chance of failure, or to propose any course of action in opposition of others, roll a d10. The lower, the better, aiming to roll under any relevant stats.

The world is a hellish place, made more so by the morbid business of Con-Making. Centuries ago the method for animating flesh, inanimate objects, and symbolic items into powerful golems was discovered, and it changed the very face of the world. Those who understand the art of creating Constructed Men, or "Con-Men", are of a social class all to their own. The poorest of them can make a good living creating and selling minor magical trinkets. The greatest can shape countries through the force of their unnatural armies.

The last action proposed was to reach out and fondle the Young Lady Serkei. Her breasts, if I recall.

This would be an exceedingly foolish action.

Is it one you wish to proceed with?

"So, Clifford, do you understand the rules as I have said them?" She asks, after finishing cleaning your face with a thumb. You weren't listening of course, too busy considering whether or not to just...reach out and...

    FONDLE

"Clifford?" she asks again, as you remain silent, warring with yourself eternally.
She leans over to you, resting the back of her palm on your forehead. "Are you alright?"

You seize the opportunity. And a handful of breast. Grabbing and groping and well...filling your hand with it in all the most inappropriate of manners, you notice that she is staring at you with her one remaining eye. She never explained how she got the eyepatch.

She's just glowering at you, quivering slightly with barely constrained rage as sweat runs down the back of your neck.

"Clifford, explain yourself." She says through gritted teeth, making no motion to remove your hand.

As you shiver in a combination of fear, panic, and barely constrained lust, you anxiously attempt to come up with a cover for your rampant breast groping. Speaking of which, you should really remove your hand before she bites it off at the wrist.

"I'm sorry, just--- just ever since I met you these feelings have been growing inside me. Your beauty, your poise, your strength and will to seize the moment. They all swept me away, awash in a tide of adoration! When you came so close I lost control. I know my affection my go unrequited, yet I cannot bear to remain silent any longer.. and I can only offer my most sincere apologies."

You stammer that out, keeping your hand on her breast the entire time.

She blushes furiously, and you do as well.

"Well, I...had no idea you had such feelings for me. But you're much too young..."

She seems to have swallowed your clever lie! Or was it a lie, and not merely an admission of your true feelings?

Probably the first one. You've seen her scoop out a mans innards for spilling beer on her dress.

    Hand status: Still on boob.

The history diverged around the years of 1860, and the art of Con-Making was discovered by a young and interesting necrophiliac by the name Thomas Moorecock. The art, quickly picked up upon by more tasteful and warmongering members of society was used to shape the many World Wars that followed. The very shape of Europe was altered by the magical might of the various Con-Makers on either side, and America became isolated from the rest of the world as they began to perfect the art.

    As for Miss Serkei...

As far as you know, she is a woman of approximately 30 years, judging by her appearance and fashion of dress. She is violent, strong, ill-tempered, and fiercely protective of you ever since she caught you trying to steal from her purse when you were but a young lad of 8, and she's been educating and protecting you ever since. She is the daughter, adopted or otherwise you have no idea, of a Con-Maker by the name of Jonathan Serkei, an influential fellow within the city. She enjoys cooking, embroidery, and mutilating those who wrong you and her.

Conning can do various things. It is not a true form of magic, IE, wizardry. A Con-Maker cannot throw fireballs or open portals to another dimension. However, it can be used to create golems, magical items, and altering the living. You could create an amulet that would spit fire upon the utterance of a command word, you could create a room that shrinks to the size of a marble when a button outside of it, etc etc. Conning is only the art of the creation of magical objects and beings.

You could replace muscles with flexing strands of living iron, you could replace the heart with a pumping furnace, you could replace a mans ears with that of an animals.

Con-Making is based more on the symbolic aspects of the creation than anything else, and the talent is rather rare. In a city of millions, only a hundred will be con-makers at most. They, however, are not above the nobility in terms of social power.

The path, as mentioned previously, is long and winding throughout the city. You pass by many interesting sights and scenes, hurriedly rushed along by an impatient companion, eager to reach her father. Before the hour is up, you reach the home of her father, a squat and powerful thing obviously designed to repel invasion and assault. A Con-Man maid greets you at the door, and it whirringly leads you upstairs. Mr. Serkei greets you in the living room, enjoying a rather large and sumptuous meal.
