My goal is to have a bare-bones beta of the rules out by next week. If the underlying system is sound, I will then try to implement some of the tech rules. I shall also re-post the slightly revised rules from the first thread.

    Rough Timeline;

    >Pre-History
Creation of Transformers, Quintessons driven off of Cybertron, First Cybertronian War between Autonomous Robots and Deceptive Constructs (names are hold-overs from the Quints).
    >Golden Age
Pax Cybertronia establishes a uneasy peace between Autobots and Decepticons, Colonisation (Paradron, Micro, Velocitron, etc),
New Factions began appearing (Like the Autobot-splinter vigilante Protectabots and the Decepticon-splinter Constructicons).
    >The Fall
Cybertron ruling elites begin fanning interparty tensions for political gain but it backfires spectacularly, Numerous rebellions (Megatron's Decepticons, Multi-Force's Destrons, Sentinel Prime's Maximals), Second Cybertronian Civil War, The Exodus (Many Cybertronians Flee from the war, including the future founders if the Neo-Cybertronian Empire)
    >The Dark Age
Megatron and Optimus Prime crash on Earth and slumber for millions of years, Cybertron becomes a total warzone once the two strongest leaders disappear, Neo-Cybertronian Empire expands. (Beast Wars goes here)
    >The Return
Megatron and Optimus Prime re-awaken and continue their battle on Earth, Cybertronians flock to Earth to help both sides, Cybertronian colonies are attacked by the mysterious Planet X

    >The Renewal
The Battle of Autobot City, The Death of Optimus Prime, The Time Wars, new technologies are introduced (Binary Bonding, Micromasters, Pretenders), The Inter-Cybertronian War, Earth exiles Transformers and develops their own robots, The Machine Wars, The Earth Concordat re-establishes Cybertronian presence on Earth, Deathsaurus terrorizes Earth briefly.
    >The Great Upgrade
Maximals and Predacons gain domiance over their predecessors, Maximals claim complete control of Cybertron, Predacons (and others) relegated to second-class citizenship and hard labor, Maximal High Council mandates The Great Upgrade on all of their worlds (Some who do not want this upgrade flee off-world), A Predacon criminal who calls himself "Megatron" steals the Golden Disc from the Hall of Archives and is pursued by the colonization vessel "Axalon".
    >The Change
Megatron returns to Cybertron and unleashes a Transmode virus, Cybertron is devastated by the sudden attack, Megatron uses Quintesson connections to obtain drones of various makes and models, Cybertronian rebels rally behind the questionably-sane Optimus Primal, Using ancient technology the organic nature of Cybertron is enhance loosed, Cybertron becomes techno-organic.
    >Trans-Tech
The distinction between the organic and technological becomes lost on Cybertron as this two dimensions become fused in incomprehensible ways, The Dimension Wars begin.

For the beta rules, I'll prolly drop the Beast Era and onwards, as well as good portion of The Renewal. Should the Golden Age and Pre-History sections be dropped too?

As the transformers in this era are going to be using the same rules as the regular ones, I see no reason to dispose of them. While it's sad to see it go, its probably best to keep Beast Wars separate until time can be taken to do beastforms justice/balance them against vehicle altmodes.

Wheeljack, especially G1. Plenty of fetch quests for parts he needs, and can provide experimental upgrades and weapons.

G1 Jetfire could fill that role as well, but I think his Armada incarnation as Optimus's second in command would be useful.

    >>17423760
Barricade. I think that either G1 or movie would work best here - the latter lending more to stealthy mission, with G1 linking into a criminal sector.

Blackarachnia would be good as well, but she'd likely have to wait until we add Beast Wars.

Well, mass-produced TFs aren't exactly faceless. They may share bodyframes and look identical but there is room for individual personalities. Also, a GM could always fluff a squad of 3 Air Warriors as 3 unique Decepticons.

The Transformers have a history of limited body types, produced in mass quantities.

In the fiction that doesn't directly tackle Transformers reproduction, it makes sense, because it implies that they were constructed for specific purposes.

In real life, it makes sense, because they can sell the same toy multiple times.

    So, how about gestalts?

From what I know of transformers there are basically four kinds of gestalts:

Team gestalts: where a bunch of transformers make one powerhouse.
    Such as Devastator.

Variable Gestalts: Where one transformer can combine with a bunch of other transformers (or the McGuffins of the show), but only one or two at a time, to form a slightly more powerful or better adapted to their environment version of themselves. As in the CGI+anime Japanese shows.

    Headmasters:
The crazy things from the end of g1 where one transformer/human/alien was the "brains" of a different transformer. This was supposed to give them increased mental capacity for things like better maneuverability and better aiming skills. In return you couldn't transform into your robot mode without your head turning into a head, so only one of you could walk around at a time.
The best example is Fortress Maximus, who needed Cerebros to become his head, who in turn needed Spike to become Cerebros's head. So he is some kind of double-headmaster for maximum insanity.

    And
Reverse gestalts: Where one transformer transforms into multiple detached components, which somehow share the same mind. This doesn't make them more powerful, but rather more adaptable and able to multitask better.
    Such as Sky Lynx(G1)
    >> Anonymous 01/05/12(Thu)05:24 No.17430717
    >>17430635
That'd be pretty complex depending on the gestalt type.

Energon really went nuts with combiners, practically the entire Autobot line could do top-bottom combinations. Though that case was relatively simple, the bottom Autobot basically became a temporary upgrade pack for the top, who was in control. (BDSM subtext is your choice to see)

    >> Anonymous 01/05/12(Thu)06:01 No.17430921
    Concerning Gestalts:

Due to an unexplainable quirk in Cybertronian creation, a rare few cybertronian sparks bear remnants of mitosis attempts.

A successful spark-branching results in what are commonly dubbed "clones" or "twins", where a pair of cybertronians possess a connection beyond the sense of siblinghood felt by all "batch constructed" cybertronians, but a physical shared connection between them. These unfortunates often suffer actual mechanical injuries if their sibling is damaged, and should one die, so will the other.

Where a spark branches partially, but mitosis is not complete, the resulting cybertronian possesses a split sense of self, similar to what humans call "Multiple Personality Disorder". They will view themselves as two individuals, and will often hold conversations with themselves, despite understanding that "both of them" are in fact the same being.

The most common spark malfunction is an incomplete spark, where a spark is apparently complete, but lacks certain energies which leads to a sense of emptiness or an almost disturbing desire to be subservient to others.
Those so aflicted were ideal subjects for the prototype "Gestalt" technology, where the melding of sparks helps keep the individual sparks stable and reliable, and the physical combination allows for gigantic super warriors.

Religious Cybertronians often point to the obscure figure from Cybertron's mythic age "Nexus Prime", as the souce of these spark malfunctions, and venerate him in hopes of relieving the pains and difficulties of spark-mitosis.

    >>17430921
...that comes off as weird and potentially creepy, but also potentially really interesting.

THough I imagine some combiners just have special equipment installed and just let themselves take a back seat while another Transformer uses their body. I think Transformers are likely to have a very different approach to body image and 'self' than humans, since their bodies can be relatively easily completely changed, transferred and otherwise altered with few side effects.

Twice? It must be her old neuroprocessor smarts coming through to keep her from being completely dumb!
    >3- Multiprocessor
Well that settles it, the dumb is just a split-personality thing that happens to be the dominant one due to trauma.

So basically Rasp is an ex-(whatever transformers use for S.E.A.Ls, a Wrecker I think?) aquatic-ops medic, who was also a smuggler of sorts. One day after a bad deal, she was double-crossed (or perhaps caught) and was blasted to the point of termination. However! Her mutant spark allowed her to cling to life long enough for her to repair herself with Junkion parts. Unfortunately the strain of self-surgery combined with betrayal caused her mind to break, giving her multiple personalities: The new "innocent and timid" Rasp and the old "Kick-Ass and full of secrets" Rasp.

I think this character is workable, but if I didn't roll it just now, I would swear it was a borderline Mary-Sue.

    Rare Ability Descriptions;

    Extra Alt Mode
-You can transform into an additional alt mode. Select one other alt mode, you can now gain it in addition to your other alt mode(s).

    Mutant Spark
-Whether through experimentation, mutation, or a freak accident, your spark is immortal. You will survive the destruction of your body and can possess other occupied or unoccupied bodies. Taking over a sparkless body is an auto-success; Taking over an occupied body requires competing Intelligence test between the Possessor and the Possessee. If the target wins the test, the possession attempt fails. If the Possessor wins the test, the attempt succeeds. The Possessee may make a Courage test every hour to eject the alien presence.

    Internal Fusion Reactor
-Your systems incorporate a dangerous, powerful Fusion Reactor. You no longer need to consume Energon. You become immune to radiation damage and can redirect excess internal energy as blasts (effectively, you can never be disarmed). But you also give off an unhealthy amount of radiation. For every hour someone spends within close range to you, they must make an Endurance test. Failure mean that they take 1d10 radiation damage.

    Flight
-Whether for military or recreational reasons, you are equipped with flight capabilities in robot mode (and alt mode if the GM deems it fitting).

    Uncommon Abilities

    Aquatic Adaptation
-Through special sealants and selective frame-lightening, you can interact with aquatic enviroments more easily. Speed penalties for being underwater are reduced by 25% (There is usually a -50% penalty to Speed when underwater). If this ability is obtained twice, you suffer no penalty to your speed while underwater.

    Multiprocessor
-You have a separate processor core dedicated to a specific task. Select one skill. While your multiprocessor is active you experience a personality change but you become incredibly focused, adding +10 to all difficulties when using the selected skill and completing task related to that skill in half the usual time. You can activate your multiprocessor as free action.

    Redunant Support Systems
-You are equiped with redundant backups and supports for critical systems that keep you on you feet even when you've been blown to hell.
You ignore the Damaged and Critically Damaged conditions. Also, you are immune to critical hits.

    Curious:

Did you have written explanations for the common and uncommon traits like what you've spelled out for the rare traits?
i.e what dose aquatic adaptation actually mean stat wise

Further, how do skill rolls work? Are they stat dependent? what's the difference between a favored and unfavored skill roll?

Typing up uncommon abilities right now.
Skills are linked to a stat (like Leadership is linked to Courage).
Skill tests are done by rolling 1d100, success is based on the roll-under method.
Favored skills test against the full stat (so 90 Courage + Leadership as a favored skill= success on a roll of 90 or less)
Unfavored skills test against half the stat (so 90 Courage /2 for Leadership as an unfavored skill= success on a roll of 45 or less)

    Holograms, Simple
-You have an array of holo-projectors built-in to your chasis. You can create a number of normal Transformer-sized Holograms equal to the tens digit of your Intelligence (i.e. 90 Intelligence means up to 9 Transformer-sized holograms).
At the GM's discretion, you may combine many small holograms into a large one.
You can also turn invisible, gaining complete concealment from all visual senses.
You can remain invisible for a number of equal to half of your Endurance score.
You cannot use both functions of this ability at once.

    Cloning,Single
-You can create a solid-light duplicate of yourself. This duplicate can be created as an attack action. The clone has all of your stats and is absolutely, blindly loyal to you. It's max HP is equal to 25% of your HP when you create it and half of all damage dealt to the clone is also dealt to you. You can maintain a clone's existence for a number of minutes equal to the tens digit of your Endurance stat.

That works, but anything where there is a lot of underwater action will do... or alternatively, it can be an deep water recovery for wounded transformers from under or over water battles. The trailer aspect would be for hauling the wounded to the surface and from the scene. This also works if it is recovering deeps sea artifacts of whatever kind. The firepower means it would serve as a water based firing platform during battle situations and can defend itself if threatened during searching and exploration.

Salvage would be a good name for it, but that may be taken already.

    >inb4 Teleportation out of order

    Teleportation
-You are equiped with built-in transmat devices. You can teleport a number of meters equal to your Speed as a move action. You can Teleport into an area you can see or through solid objects. If you end your teleportion within a solid object, both you and the object take 1d10 x 10 damage.

    Cerebro Shells
-You carry mind controlling wepon shells. You can load a Cerebro shell as an Attack action. If you successfully deal damage, You and the target make competing Intelligence tests. If you win, the target falls under your control, otherwise the shell is wasted. A controlled target is completely obediant to you to the best of its intellectual capacity. The target may make a Courage or Intelligence test every 30 minutes to break your control.

    Junkion
-Your systems are surprisingly eager to except scrap and melted parts. You can theoretically be repaired using any low-grade metals or broken parts. Furthermore, all Repair tests made that target you receive +20 difficulty.

Interesting thing about War For Cybertron is it shows how different two characters using the same mold can be. The front of the hood becoming the torso in robot mode, the identical design to the legs, the 6 valve engine rising to be placed just behind the head and the engine block in front of it splitting to reveal the head.

Still, they look remarkably different due to all their little individual touches.

    Re:Headmasters

In the Japanese Headmasters series, the Autobot Headmaster heads were human-sized robots who left Cybertron during the wars before Transformers started transforming. Instead of learning to transform their bodies and becoming giants, the headmasters built transforming bodies that they could pilot by transforming into heads or by driving the alt modes.

Different head/body combinations produced different stats for tge Headmasters, so they swapped bodies a lot. You could represent this by dividing the character stats in half between head-bot and body. When head and body are combined, the complete bot is just the sum of the two sets of stats.

Posting a bit of stuff I did a few months ago:

Back in the first Golden Age, Cybertronians were expected to be scientists, artists, and warriors at the same time. It was a time of polymaths and omnidisciplarians.
To make sure all cybertronians were able to fight, there was the "Trial by fire", when they were no longer protoforms, and had chosen their alt-mode, the cybertronian was led to an entrance to the ancient tunnels below the surface of cybertron.

The idea was that each candidate would spend 10 orns (a cybertronian week) down in the depths, surviving by their cunning and skills. Then they would return, and be regarded as adults.

Things were made more difficult with the emergence of the Mutants.
Cybertronian physiology is known to have a self-repair system, that when foreign metals are used in repairs, will alter their composition into the native cybertronian allies.
However, these self-repair systems can malfunction when exposed to high levels of radiation, such as those found deep within the surface of Cybertron.
The mutants are the end result of a cybertronian on their trial, spending too long, too deep within the surface, their self-repair systems stop adapting the repaired materials, leaving them in their original format, rendering their bodies horrifying junkheaps, with random wheels, limbs, or other parts hanging off.

Lacking any method of reproduction, the mutants would capture those on their trial by fire, drag them down into the deeps, until their systems had corroded and turned them into mutants as well.

During the Warlord Period, after the end of the first Golden Age, the Trial by Fire was banned by the warlord Gladiaron, who was enraged by the loss of his warriors in such a manner.

In the place of the Trials, he instituted brutal arena fights, which although destructive, rarely resulted in death.
The cybertronians named these arena bouts "Gladitorial combat" in his honour, and he is regarded as an ancestor of the modern Decepticon movement.

As for the mutants? With the source of new recruits gone, they began sending small raiding groups to the surface, snatching what cybertronians they could find, usually preying on those alone, or too weak to resist.

The simplest way I can think of doing is to set it up so that each body part has at least one, perhaps two, 'mod' slots for customization. That way, a ranged weapon could be mounted on the shoulder or on the arms, and could even be damaged during combat, leading to penalties. Alternatively, a mod could also add extra abilities or improve existing ones - head mounted slots could be filled with a holographic projector or a sensor mod, which improve ranged damage.

Weapons were going to be kinda rules-lite. Every PC comes with a ranged weapon that can be disarmed and a melee weapon that can't be disarmed. There will be an equipment section tho, and it will include drones, tools, and unusual weapons like Cliffjumpers bigass bazoooka.

Still butthurting over Junkions though. The fact that every Transformer of Criminal background (or rather every transformer that rolls on the uncommon abilities table) has a 10% chance of being a Junkion seems a little off. The junkions were REALLY uncommon and only in G1 IIRC.

1d10 x 9 seems like an awfully big randomized range. If you roll a 1 on skill and get 10 skill to start you'll have a hard time hitting anything, whereas if you luck out with a 9 on character creation then you'll never miss.

Considering this looks like a percentile dice system I'd suggest changing stat generation so it gives a range of 30 - 60 instead of 10 - 90.

    For example, Blitzwing;

Multiply those tech spec numbers by nine...

Fun thing is, according to the shattered glass fiction, most of the repair work is done by their repair systems. The replacement limb or organ is absorbed by the body.

“Basic Cybertronian medical science,” Starscream replied as he continued Blitzwing’s examination.
“Introduce non-living plastics or metals into the body, the surrounding systems break them down, rebuild them into Cybertronian technomatter, and integrate them into the larger mechanism. We break a rotator or slip a gear, we can replace it, and after a short while it becomes living circuitry like the rest of us.”

    More locations!

Vos and Tarn are two city states with a long and entwined history.
Vos was an orbital state, a miracle of scientific research, it hovered above cybertron's surface, visable for miles around as a shining beacon of intellectualism. Inhabited almost entirely of cybertronians with aerial alternate modes, the city was often regarded as a haven for the elite, or those who thought themselves that.
Tarn on the other hand, was a martial state, ruled by those strong in arms, and those harsh in temperment.
Many of its populace joined the elite guard, and even it's auxiliary troopers were easily spotted by the cyclopean helmets they wore.

Due to their contrasting civic attitudes, and their neighbouring borders, it was only natural that Vos and Tarn would fight. With border clashes between Vos' Elite Seeker squadrons, and Tarns Wrecker garrisons causing the other city states to become anxious, a forced peace was imposed upon them by Iacon. Proposing that the ill feeling between both states be channeled into a series of Gladitorial and Athletic matches. These "Intercity-state games" or "State Games" for short, became major tourist attractions, and ampitheatres were soon set up in every city state to attempt to replicate them.
    >> Anonymous 01/06/12(Fri)17:23 No.17445711
    >>17445704
During the rise of the Decepticons, the twin cities met with unfortunate fates.
In the midst of the State Games, photonic missiles from Tarn's military command center were fired directly at Vos' reactor center.
The orbital city's shields failed to intercept the missiles, causing the reactor to suffer a catastrophic meltdown, this chain reaction resulted in the city of Vos plumeting down to crush Tarn.
Later investigation, backed up with first hand survivor testimony suggests that both the attack, and Vos' descent trajectory were preplanned, deliberately to take out both city states.
The Decepticons were quick to blame Iacon, and seized the ruins of the cities to place them under their "protection", with the Scientist and Military Commander Shockwave becoming their joint govener.

A few survivors of both the attacks, and Shockwave's crackdowns afterwards, drifted north, to Iacon. Becoming the formation of both the Aerialbots, and the Wreckers sub-factions. Although traditional rivals, both are so intently anti-decepticon that they have put their pasts behind them.

Okay. The way I see it, weapons are broken down into a few major types:

    1. Pistols - Usually used by smaller cons/bots, probably don't have a lot of punch and don't aim well, but a high rate of fire.
    2. Rifles - Used by bigger bots and can either be hand-held or attached to the frame. More damage but slower to fire.
    3. Grenade Launchers - Same as rifles, but can be loaded with acid pellets, incendiary pellets, darkness pellets, etc... basically, area of effect weapons. Low rate of fire.
    4. Cannons - BIG GUNS. Slow to fire and slow to recharge, but you don't have to aim so much as point it at the target and watch it disappear.
    5. Special Weapons - Weapons like the glass ray, goo gun, anti-thermal cannon, fog missile, or anything that doesn't do damage outright but hampers enemy movement.
    6. Melee Weapons - Swords, axes, flails, whips, what have you.

I figure every character should have at least one ranged weapon and one melee weapon that are "part" of their frame, and additional weapons can be attached and/or carried. What say you?
    >> Backbreaker 01/06/12(Fri)20:19 No.17447535
    >>17447499

Also, I say the higher a person's firepower is, the more weapons they can have slaved to their system without major overload or something. So a courier bot with a firepower of 36 might be able to have three weapon "slots", but a tank with a firepower of 90 might have nine. The bigger the weapon, the bigger the slot it takes up. Pistols and rifles take up one slot, grenade launchers and special weapons two, cannons three, and melee none.

I'm cool with shields. More than one autobot's had one. Maybe they're a special type of armor that gives, say, a great bonus to your HP, but since it's so intrinsic to a character, it permanently eats up two slots and can't be removed. That way you can get a kick-ass shield, but it doesn't unbalance the game too much.

I don't think all weapons should be relegated to "backup" status, though. They should be equal/have some advantage compared to guns.

Melee is usually a back-up, though. When you have laser guns you generally want to kill stuff from a distance before the sword swinging weirdo has a chance to get to you.

Now of course that all depends on the character, as you're saying. I think being able to take a retractable arm blade would be tits.

Good ideas. Maybe each of those backgrounds might also have restrictions on weapon types?
Also, concerning body slots, the ones that appear most in-fiction are
    --Arms
    --Shoulder/Back
Fort Max has leg guns but those are kinda unique.

Fort Max is also HUGE. Arms, shoulders and back should be the most common regardless of body size. Could also have a head slot for extra equipment like communications gear or whatever.

Leg's could still be used by having small slots which can store pistols and small weapons a la Robocop.
    >> Backbreaker 01/06/12(Fri)21:03 No.17448041
    >>17447958

    You're reading my mind, OP.

Okay. So: You have the same number of "slots" for weapons as your firepower / 9. Pistols/Rifles = 1 slot each, Grenade Launches/Special/Extra Armor = 2 slots each, Big Cannons = 3 slots each, first melee weapon's free, additional melee weapons = 1 slot each, and extra slots are usually relegated to the back and arms.

    Also, weapons restrictions:

    Commoners: Pistol/Rifle only
    Nobles: Pistol/Special only
    Sentry: Pistol/Rifle/Special only
    Politician: Pistol/Rifle/Cannon only
    Medtech: Pistol/Special only
    Engineer: Rifle/Special/Cannon only
    Soldier: All weapons
    Spy: Pistol/Special only
    Criminal: Pistol/Rifle/Cannon only

I'm not sure I like the above list, but it's a start.

Honestly, I would say it's more of a personal preference, since it doesn't seem like the location of the slots would be a huge deal in game play. Unless we're specifically statting different areas of the body. In which case, we've got a LOT of crunching to do.

So my thought is to award some kind of generic abstracized "points" for completing adventures etc. Maybe not as consistent or plentiful as experience points, but something to that effect. And let people "buy" upgrades for their characters when they reach a sufficient amount of points. Possibly upgrade base stats, buy a new ability/perk or buy a new addon/armor/weapon/built-in-doodah?

Maybe "Junkion" should be renamed "Replaceable Parts"

Perhaps the Skill stat could be used for special weapons or advantages that don't do damage?

We should have some special rules for taking advantages, weapons, and integrated equipment from one Transformer to another. I remember OP and Megs used the weapons and abilities of their followers from time to time, and there was at least one Decipticon who took special weapons as trophies.

I think that each background should have a semi-exclusive list of special weapons/equipment to start off with and better reflect what they are supposed to be able to do. A commoner could still pick up a solider gun, but her systems aren't optimized for use.

Maybe make a few random advantage lists for everyone, then a few smaller list for backgrounds to roll for?

Oh, I just thought of a few abilities.

    (Un)Common (depending on era):
Eating. The ability to turn raw material into Energon. Most Transformers have to ingest processed Energon or fuel, but a few have internal power plants capable of converting many types of organic mater into fuel directly. Can be ranked up once to include inorganic mater, and the ability to be "milked" for fuel.

Alright, I was thinking an ability might be considered as a bonus slotless weapon, but I guess it's unneeded. Not quite good enough for rare anyway... I have another idea though: back in G1 megatron and soundwave had the ability to greatly change their size and weight into something a human could carry. Granted that might be too silly to bring in, but it could be fun.

If the "slots" count for Armour/Melee weapons as well as guns, maybe it'd be best to base them on something other than firepower.
    1) Characters like poor old Alpha are still very capable in melee but can't get more armour/melee weapons because of the firepower stat.
    2) This will mean the characters that are dealing the most damage with their guns also have a massive amount of guns. Slightly unfair, I think.

Just a thought. I'm no good at making up rules, so I'll elave it to you guys.

    Okay, ideas for history/lineage things.

A potential list of the Dynasty of Primes.

    - Prima (The first prime. Prehistoric era)

    - Alpha Prime (The Prime at the start of the first golden age. Alpha Trion claims him as an ancestor)
    - Guardian Prime (During the first golden age, the Quintessons attempt to invade (again?). Guardian Prime leads the army to drive them off. He is killed by an uprising of minicons in powered armour called "Transtectors", led by the scientist Gigatron. The matrix is lost, and with it the Golden Age ends.)

The Warlord period, records are slim, and often contradictory, but some known warlords include:
    - Gladiaron (Who begins the practice of Gladitorial combat.)
    - Deathsaurus (Who developed the first combiners, and used them to crush his foes.)
    - Dai Atlas (Who, when his holdings were destroyed, took his band of followers and left cybertron, to build his own civilization)
    - Tyrannis (Who seized the temple of knowledge at Tyger Pax, and built an empire of ashes around it.)
    - Devron (Leader of the Destrons, who crushed all who stood before him, and made an army which almost conquered cybertron before he was defeated by...)

    - Nova Prime (First of the new Primes, creator of the second golden age.)
    - Nominus Prime (Made Iacon the capitol of cybertron's city states.)
    - Zeta Prime (A symbol of the decadence of the second golden age, he was eventually defeated in the great Decepticon uprisings.)
    - Sentinel Prime (A warrior prime, managed to keep the Decepticons from conquering the northern provinces of Cybertron, but was eventually killed in battle)
    - Optimus Prime (The so-called Last Prime. Unites the free city states of Cybertron in the Autobot League)

The only number I could find places 1/13th, at most, of all Transformers as female.

But then again a female transformer can look and/or "act" like a male transformer (or vice versa), and transformers use other means of reproduction. So a gender label has about as much importance to them as a middle name has to us. It's just kind of there.

I just noticed there are like 6 different car alt-modes, and no "Tool/weapon" Alt-mode.

I think there were enough cassettes, tape decks, guns, cannons, cameras, and microscopes to justify such an alt-mode.

Maybe have it replace one of the cars? Do we need both a Fast and a Racing Car?

But I think this thread has reached the limit.
