    --------------------------------------------------------
You were on the news for a few days. You and Ricardo were on every channel. Once they announced that they knew your name and address (from your military records) you packed up all your stuff and moved to Mel's place, a hole in the wall apartment in downtown.

You've been laying low for a few months, going over your disastrous first attempt at bank robbery in detail with your fellows. You've learned a lot.

James is better. He can't walk without a cane, but he's dropped ten pounds and he's grateful you guys didn't let him die. He's been building electronic gadgets like it's going out of style (it probably is), and has come up with some pretty handy goodies:

    4x close-channel earpieces.
1x USB with a nasty virus in it.
    1x motion sensor.

Cruz International has been awfully quiet, they haven't even done a press release.

The heat is still on you guys, but not nearly as much as it was. The area banks know your face and Ricardo's, but Ricardo's clean criminal record gives you a bit of a break as far as the police tracking you goes.

Your military records might have given you away, but you were thorough when you moved out of your house.

The apartment smells like four guys have been living in it for three months and you're getting impatient. There are other ways to make a quick buck around the city without robbing banks, aren't there?

    Well, any ideas?

This is a learning experience for me, too. I'll be more detailed this time around.

Seriously, don't. It'll give you away.

Alright. If we do hit up a bank we need to do it right this time. Come up with a plan, code words and the like so we don't accidentally SHOOT ONE OF OUR TEAMMATES.

Actually a good idea, we find a mall that's going to do a large armored car transfer, could make tens of thousands of dollars. This time, less over the top, handguns and one AK for armored vests that get cute.

We need better disguises. I say, those giant cell phone mascot costumes.

    Sure.

Mel's got some contacts in the city that can hook you up with weapons and gear.

Ricardo has some family who work at a local garage. They could pimp out your van.

James says he can get some new hardware and software from online dealers.

$90,000 are burning a hole in your pocket. Get to spending.

(I'm not going to look at the actual prices for these things. It'll be in increments of $100 dollars. So $500, $800, $1100, etc.)

    Suggestion: semi-tractor trailers.
There are, scattered around the industrial districts of major cities, trailer lots. And in each one are hundreds of tractor trailers just sitting around.
And there they'll sit, one completely unremarkable from another, 'til a driver comes by and picks one up for a delivery.
A trailer will set you back about $20K new, and down to a quarter that used.
To be truly authentic they need a customs seal and those are harder to come by, but it's a safe bet a there are trailers buried back in the lanes that haven't left their rut for years and are as similar to each other as one air molecule to another in a busy windpipe.
Buy one used (Hello Craigslist!), change the numbers if you want to, fill it with whatever, and use a rented semi to park it deep in the lot with a good lock on it.
Unless God hates you, shit will _never_ happen to it.

Ricardo suggests you use old storage containers for hiding the van and the loot, and you all think that's a pretty good idea.

You pay $15,000 dollars to some old trucker who directs you to a shipping yard in the outskirts of town. You all congratulate Ricardo on a good idea; your storage container blends in perfectly with all the others.

It's a tight fit for the van, but you manage it.

James tells you he's opened an off-shore account, piggy-backing off of a heavily encrypted server. If the cops find it, they'll never be able to trace it back to you guys.

He also tells you that he's found a lawyer who'd be willing to make things difficult for the city's DA, for the right price of course. Lawyers are sneaky. He might just be putting you on, taking your cash and then turning you over.

Best time to hit the guards is when they're delivering and the truck is actually open.

I kinda like trying to take the whole bank because if that works, we've got 6 months of chillin' with mimosas while Dirty Larry launders the grotesquely large take, and the timing's pretty much the same as trying to take the armored car by itself.
OTOH, more random factors: bank employees, silent alarms, general chaos and stupidity, etc etc. Greatly increased chances of things going to shit. Also we'd need to plan out specific rolls: 1 person to control the herd, 1 person to be on lookout/alarm monitoring duty, etc etc.
Oh, idea: can James get into the alarm service of the bank (using it's physical address as a starting point) and divert any potential alarms? What about it's local phone service?
If so, THAT is a _titanic_ advantage, and Take It All gets a lot better looking.

7:50: You, Mel, and Ricardo will be waiting on the opposite side of the bank. The bank will not be open and traffic will be relatively light.

8:00: The truck arrives, the bank manager, who will be the only employee present, will open the door for the security company. Ricardo will play getaway driver.

8:05: At this point, the guards will be incapacitated and the truck's goods will be secured. Provided the alarms haven't been activated, James will activate his delay program. You and Mel will have exactly one minute to enter the vault and grab as much loot as you can.

    7:30.
Ricardo is driving the van, it's supercharged engine purring like a tiger waiting for a meal.

Mel checks his equipment. Magazines loaded, vests equipped, AR's are cleaned and oiled and smooth.

You tell the guys not to shoot anyone if they can help it; none of the weapons you have are suppressed.

    7:45.
Ricardo parallel parks the van about a block down the street from the bank. It's still dark, the windows of the office buildings around you are wet with condensation. You and Mel hurry into position behind the dumpster at the back of the bank where the truck will park. You put your masks on.

    7:55.
The truck is here ahead of schedule. It parks near the front of the bank, not the back. You and Mel hear the front door open and a cordial female voice say "good morning."

You have to move from the back of the bank to the front, secure the guards and the bank manager, and get going.

    What do you do? (Roll)

Get in gear. Gun on the Manager first, have Ricardo stick up the guards.
If that goes smooth, hustle them into the bank, secure them, have, and we'll strip them of radios, weapons, phones etc.
Be quick, but thorough. Ricardo drives the truck around ot the back.

Ok, one parting thought: The Anon who mentioned Tazers?
Good fucking idea, and let's take it further.
We should consider swapping to shotguns with beanbag rounds, and AP small arms like the 5.7mm as backup.
We mostly hit soft targets at close range, and no one knows what's in a shotgun when it's pointed at them 'til you shoot so the intimidation factor isn't hurt.
Shotguns also give us slugs as an alternate ammo type, which are both medium range accurate and useful on lightly armored vehicular targets like cop cars.
For next time: look at Shotguns with Less Then Lethal ammo, Tazers, and anti-vest pistols.
