I believe the Cleric's worship allowed her normal (if very shapely) ass to ascend to Godhood, giving it sentience & Divine Rank (though it was a jealous & cruel God so would only rarely use this power to actually aid the party, partially because Kortherine kept sitting on it).

After the cleric's death her ass let out a death scream (that disappointing wasn't a colossal fart) and was gone. Her back connects directly to her legs, with just nothing there.

Bloodline: Trowza Snake's 187 Gangsta Murder Posse

    Devotion: Iced Out Bitchkilla
Drawing upon the culture of the hood and the streets, and defying conventional wisdom, a character that employs this devotion is able to fire guns with deadly accuracy by turning them sideways. Employing the Celerity native to the bloodline makes the bullets fired by members of the bloodline accurate and deadly. Employing Resilience allows members of the bloodline to avoid fouling their aim when ejected shell casings inevitably hit them in the face.

WW derped hard with that. It only kicks in if you deal more than Size damage. Unless you're beating up children, that means you need to be scoring five+ successes, which is pretty unlikely with ten dice.

I did forget to include that Boxing three lets you attack twice, so you'll be hitting for ~6 damage per turn. It's possible you could take out the Kung Fu king if you got surprise.

In fact, running with that, in order to use Whirlwind Strike in the first place, a character has to completely forsake their defence in the same turn. Meanwhile, Mr Str 5 Brawl 5 Boxing 4 Kung Fu 3 can fight on the defensive to counteract that. So, assuming a Defence of 3, that added with Defensive Attack brings down the dice pool to 5 for the first attack, four for the second attack, three for the third attack and 2 for the fourth attack (because, if you recall, when you use Whirlwind Strike, you take cumulative penalties after the first attack). Sure, the Boxer now takes -2 to his attacks, but the Kung Fu guy's defence isn't added on.

I planned a homebrew game, I allowed one of the races to be "lycanthrope" so players could transform into beasts, it did have some debuffs such as a lack of charisma and others, I informed the players that despite lycanthrope usually refers to werewolves - they could choose one thing they could transform into.

Cue one of my players - who informed me before hand that he'd wreck the game (I told him to do his best so I could improve my GMing) - asking me what things was allowed, I put two limits: Genders (such as transforming into the other gender) and play-able races (so players couldn't be a human in towns but a orc when fighting).

Ended up him asking me every single thing he ever put his eyes on: "Can I be a were-kettle?", "Were-train?", "Were-mouse?" etc. etc.

He ended up deciding to be a were-train which I deemed acceptable (since it was a Steampunk setting), however the game never took off beyond the first session.

I'm going to organise a Pathfinder game in the future, he asked me if he could continue the Were-train and I told him that 1. I doubt Lycanthropes are playable races since I haven't read the entire core-rules and 2. I hadn't decided on the setting.

That's a rationalization after the fact. There was no suggestion in the novel "Dracula" that any vampire could be destroyed by the sun, nor is it part of the pre-modern vampire folklore.

Although most people have it the other way around, Frankenstein's monster is about a century older and more established than the modern sunlight-fearing, infectious vampire.

The Twilight version is also wrong: vampires don't sparkle in the sunlight, the sun turns them into unicorns.

In pathfinder setting it's essentially a level adjustment, though they go about it a different way ( slightly) but it cones out the same. Natural lycanthropes are better and therefore a harder cost.

The template to just add to a character is only cr 1 adjust, which I forget if you can buy back a flat one.

It's only baseline animals in the beasiaries though; wolves, rats, pigs, bears, tigers/lions, and maybe one or two more across the 3 beasiaries out at the moment.

The setting doesn't really have steamtech like trains, but there is a locale filled with spacetech that fell from the sky ( read spaceships fell) into a barbarian area. Or maybe warforged...or idk. Changing from biological to mehcanical structure isn't supported by the rules really short of cheesy or cursed stuff

Essentially for everytime he tried to break the game by being... a train... he'd wind up in jail in a cell too small for him to transform (I wouldn't allow them to transform if the space holding them would be too small for the new form, and if they insisted they would lose HP - I mean, transform into an earthworm, fine, crawl into an earthworm hole, fine, turn into a human in an earthworm hole got to have some penalty.

    >>18017175

I didn't know exactly that information, but most stuff could have been homebrewed around, and the essential good player can create what he wants in whatever setting without breaking the rules.

If the were-train player picked a druid and could write a back-story legitimising him having a train as a companion and/or having a train as a wild form (and the setting including trains), I'd let him. Could be fun to see.

On the other hand, he is the type of guy who is proud of only having read one book in his life... size undetermined, but I suspect it was the Z-Day survival guide, at least that is the only book I know he owns.

There is a slight problem with your calculations. Assuming out of the box char gen, a character with Strength 5 Boxing 4 Brawl 5 will be rolling 10+9 dice, not counting defense. However, a character with 5 Dex Kung Fu 4 Brawl 5 will undoubtedly only have 1 strength. So he will be rolling 7+6+5, not counting defense. You do the math.

Well, the youma PC was some one in a million natural 'commander youma', with the power to remain sane despite being a youma. She also had the power to prevent us all dying when we learned that magical girls turn into youma or somesuch. The character started out as a magical girl, though. In a minisession I wasn't there for, she swooped in on another PC's fight to save them, launched some super attack, and then for no reason I can tell her pendant shattered and she turned into the youma.

No, he doesn't. He's just as mute in #1 as he is in #2. He's still got a Doctorate in Pushing Buttons 'n' Shit. He's still relied upon to clean up everyone's fucking mess. And he's still being stalked by G-Man.

Really? Because I feel like every thread I see where someone is doing something unusual (typically in an RPG, but also 40k) there's a lot of "but you can't do that, because according to [FLUFF X]" and such.

But whatever. You're probably right and I'm probably wrong and trying to justify my particular obsession with correctness with "lol, everyone does it." Hell, I don't even give a fuck about Warcraft in particular, I just can't stand people being wrong on the internet.

With the obvious exception that he was those things FIRST in #1. It's the same instinct that drives you up the walls when someone suggest that Warhammer copied Starcraft, or that Underworld came up with the idea of vampire vs. werewolf hostilities, only more finely tuned for added everyday suffering.

Later I had to change my title from "Capo" to "The Flat".

    DCC is fun!

    >Barrel of Ale-Holding (34/250 gallons)

It could hold so much ale only because instead of like a bag of holding, it could hold only ale and other alcoholic beverages.

And I only had enough money to get those 34 or so gallons.

This was on my Dorf character, who had a mage friend that made it for him. And he wasn't as bad as that may make him seen. He, in fact, always had a plan omega to use an alchemist fire he had to cause the barrel (and the contained ale) to explode.

    Nope, not feeling it.

    >or that Underworld came up with the idea of vampire vs. werewolf hostilities, only more finely tuned for added everyday suffering
    Not feeling that, either.

That could be because of the fact that I think that getting buttfrustrated over it is pointless. There was a comic I can't find right now that boiled down to the right way to respond is to think "Huh, that's silly" and do something fun.

This was a serious campaign too. He was Harvey Keitel in Taxi Driver. I didn't catch it at first. Turned out to be a great character, player role-played really well. I wound up giving him a 100gp weekly take at first level. After that, the other players warmed up to him - he never beat his women around them. I told him he can play Travis Bickle in the next campaign, but we haven't figured out the class yet.

I don't remember what the exact numbers were, but one of my players effectively made his Intimidate twice what I thought was possible for a level five character.

    Also.

    >Masterwork Tool (Skull tattoo on face[Intimidate])
    >Noble's Outfit(No gems, no stylish cut, just a black silk robe)
    >Masterwork Scythe
    >A handful of items that would increase his base speed

This resulted in him appearing in doorways, getting shot repeatedly, and then basically flashstepping across a room to intimidate the fuck out of everyone with the visage of Death.

A tattoo is an item as much as magical unarmed attacks or bodies are items. However, my point of contention is that a tattoo doesn't exactly qualify under the category of 'Masterwork Tool' as all examples of skills benefiting from that piece of equipment are detailed within the item or skill in question.

But it's a creative interpretation of the mechanics, not to mention awesome, practical, and reasonable, so I would most definitely allow it.
