You look the two of them in the eyes.
"Even with everything...At least now, I have three good memories of home.
"My bike, meeting Mike, and now...today. Thanks to you two."
You then lean in and kiss them both.

After the Ferris Wheel ride, the three of you head to go back home.
'Hey MIke. can you beam us up?'
'Of course kid. Did what you had to?'
    'Yeah. We're good to go.'
'Okay, just find an open place again, and ill get the techs to lock onto you.'

As the three of you stand in the open square, by a huge fountain, waiting to jump out.
You hold the twins' hands and just stand there enjoying their warmth.

You walk out of the gate feeling like a million dollars.
    You have your bike back.
The Yakuza didnt harvest your liver.
You had a great time with the twins.
And now your back to the normal abnormality of the bureau.
    All's right in the world.

You jumped into the Bureau at 21:00.
Minimal personnel and operatives are around.

So, We need to talk to Nanoha, that flat voice spells trouble.

When we get back, dress up in our white suit (Nanoha said she liked it) and visit her, find out what's wrong.

The alternative is potentially a befriending, which is terrifying.

This just got posted in the 'waiting for quest' thread:

    >I think we're agreed in telling Mike our real name and history.

    >Bonus points if he wants us to go to therapy.

    >Other suggestions: Learn to play a musical instrument. I'd like to go piano; violins and cellos are also quite classy, but preclude the chance to sing along.

    >I also think there should be a lot more old-timy blues and jazz on our musical radar.

    >It seems a little out there, but butlers are generally expected to have a large array of skills, and it sets the right tone for smarmy class that we've been shooting for.

    I like everything about that.

I personally think that as far as talking to friends about stuff goes, we could use a 'welcome back' lunch thing to ask them how their vacations were.

As the three of you walk around aimlessly in the quad, you notice Ursula let out a small yawn.
"Hey, you tired?" you ask her.
    She gives a small nod.
"I think I could use some rest too." Erica says "My feet are killing me."
You and the girls walk up to the dorms.

As you walk down the halls holding their hands in the general direction of their room, a door to your right opens.
Out walks Nanoha, wearing white pajamas with little red devils on it.
She looks at the three of you in silence.

"Good evening Nanoha! How was your day?" you say enthusiastically.
"Fine. And you?" the cold tone in her voice imperceptible to only you.
"Oh, the girls and I went aorund my Dimension. We went to an amusement park and had lots of fun."
"I see. Well then, Goodnight." she says as she goes back inside and closes the door quietly.

thinking that Nanoha just may be sleepy, hence the minimal conversation, you take the twins to their room.

After getting the two settled, you head to your room to unpack.

You take out your hats, and let Jakob out.
You take out Bike-kun and the Flying Dutchman.
You hang your old jacket in the closet.

"Yeah, I guess I should tell you. Hell, you've already delivered on all the promises you made to get me here, so I might as well give you the truth." you tell him, not minding if Ryuu and Kris hear your story as well.

You dive into your involuntary involvement with the Yakuza, the events that led up to that and the general way that the universe seemed to be out to get you in your home dimension.

The tales of your horrible childhood and unimaginable misfortune move the three listeners.
"Kid... Damn. I didn't know. Fuck." mike says as he puts an arm around your shoulder.
"I really need to check in on my branch there, shit." Santa says as he grips his mug enough to crack the glass.
    Ruu just stands there solemnly.

"Anyway." you finish optimistically, "that's all in my past now right? I'm here, and things couldn't get any better."
"Here's to you Hayate." and mike tips his glass in your direction.

Time passes in cordial conversation, Santa talking about his days making rounds, and Mike talking about the other agents he's trained in the past.
"...And that's when Tama burned down the whole forest! hahahaha. I swear, fucking cats and water."

The night deepens. at about midnight, Mike advises you to go get some sleep.
"You have lessons again tomorrow. and I have an announcement for the class that you just may not want to miss. I'll see you tomorrow."

    And to bed you went.

    'Hey girls? want some breakfast?'
    'Waffles please.' Ursula answers
    'Hashbrowns.' Erica answers
'You and potatoes.' you tell her with a chuckle.
    'I like 'em'

You go to their room via the window, floating up there on a saucer. There you begin to fix up breakfast for the three of you.

As you sit them down to a table loaded with waffles, hashbrowns and sausages, Erica engages in some small talk.

"What was with Nanoha last night?" she asks
"She was also like that the morning we left." Ursula adds.
"I'm not sure." you answer them

"I think I know." Erica says with a grin. "she likes you."
    "Agreed."

It doesn't have to be great to fuck with Kemia, just instantly recognizable.

If he points out that it doesn't sound as good without the whole band thing, shoot him a knowing look and start playing Elton John. A lot of those sound fine with just the Piano.

The fact that he's a talented, famous and OPENLY GAY has nothing to do with it. No sir.

At first? Utterly blind to Ursula's crush.

Now? Understanding the repercussions of his actions and caring. Slowly coming around to the idea of actually planning this shit out.

On the one hand, it's entirely your fault and the players feel like they just got screwed.

On the other, retconning and shit tends to set a bad precedent, and you look like MORE of an ass when you try to block something later.

Best thing you can do is type it up in a word document, and keep refreshing the page to make sure there isn't a dramatic shift in tone along the way.

THIS. Best thing you can do with a kid who has an opinion is to respect their opinion.

We don't want to hurt any ladies who might have feelings for us, no matter how young/old they might be.

If it's just a crush, she'll remember we treated her with respect and appreciate it.

If it's actually something more, she'll remember this, and the seduction will be much easier when she's a more appropriate age.

You take Mike's suggestion and get your team together to discuss the tourney.
Keima leads you all to the cafeteria.
There, you ask Sakura if she could get Nanoha to join you for lunch.
"I'm sorry. Nano-chan says she's having lunch with her team." she finishes with "she says she'll see you later at the gym."

With everyone seated, he begins to discuss your team's chances.
"I have been looking through our specs, and I think I may have the basics of a plan. I can't get much data on whe we'll be fighting, so we will have to just make use of predetermined roles."

"Ursula will again cover the skies and act as a distraction as needed. Shinku will join you."
"Gai, Amazoness, again I leave the close quarters combat to you two. You both have the highest physical combat capabilities in our group."

"Sakura, Hayate, I want you two to go play artillery. Bombard them with your spells."
"Hayate, you will also be incharge of covering for us. YOur speed and versatility will allow you to assist any of us when needed."
"Jun, I remember you telling me taht you have some defensive and trapping skills. I want you to work with Hayate to protect Elsi and I."

"We will provide you with information, and tactics in real time. I have also learned some evasive skills, so you need not worry about us too much."

That would imply that she has the Cartridge system in Raising Heart and I'm pretty sure she doesn't have that one yet. We gotta keep SOME canon here and if we alter her age, there are a lot of things that wouldn't make any sense.

"Well, I could pull people in by touching them and concentrating to unfreeze them. I could also make stuff move in in by concentrating."
"Can you make projectiles move freely?" he asks
"yeah. I did that in a situation I was in. I could make the bullets maintain movement even after they left the gun."
"I see.. I will try and factor that in to our plans."
"Okay man. Hey, you know if there's anything i need to do to make up for it, you just have to tell me okay?"
"sure. I will consider it" he answers.

Mike walks up together with the man in Grey armor you remember from the stargate.
"Okay guys, lets do this." the guy says. "I'm Commissar Knight Max Decarius, and I lead the Advanced classes. Me and Mike here decided to pit you all up against each other to determine how well you will all react in combat against an unpredictable, organized foe. Also, we want to watch you kids beat the shit out of each other."
    he laughs.

Mike interrupts him quickly."The four teams of the Basic classes against the 4 teams of the Advanced classes. You will pick opponents by random drawing."

"Victory will be determined by elimination. Eliminate all the members of the opposing team, and you win." Max explains.

"We will outfit all of you with an extra barrier that will absorb damage. Each barrier shall be calibrated to fit the levels of damage you can incur. Once the barrier passes the damage set to it, you will be eliminated and teleported from the arena." Mike says.

"Think of it as a healthbar for yourself. If it goes 0, you're out." Max finishes.

"Okay, now will each team pick a representative and draw who you will fight." max says as he motions to a box in his hand.

They're from the advanced classes, we probably don't want to get into an artillery war. If they're a nuke heavy team we're doomed. Our primary asset is our balance of differing abilities and Keima's planning. This allows us with some information to target their weak point with our rather Jack of All Trades group composition.

If they are melee focused keep them at range, if they're nukes/artillery move fast and mobile to make them waste and beat those glass cannons in the face, if they're speed based we can draw them into a kill zone with our defense and Keima knowing where to lead them. If they're tactically unsound we can split them up, maybe using Shinku's mirror jumping to make them spread out, and eat them

We can't rush in without a plan and pray that we target what they're bad at.

However, with range weapons, we keep the pressure on without having to actually engage in the battle. Spreading out the people a little more would help, granted, but this would work well. As this is happening, We get Hayate to expand the knives, creating big enough spaces for Shinku to poke through and gain visuals on the group, and report back to Keima. This will give us the element of surprise, and allow us to formulate a plan while the other team are too busy defending.

Eh, more like Absorber vs Canceller
And then he absorbs Cancel and uses Cancel against Cancel
Then Cancel is Cancelled and there is no more Cancel.

    And then Nanoha Force Touma?

The issue is that Taiga's ability is limited by his magic points. It's also ranged. And he's smarter than Touma.
But then again, Touma can block lightning.

    Touma has a CQC weakness.
Taiga is a CQC master due to his sister.

    TOuma can CQC.
Not preperly trained but with the bullshit he fought [he can react to a fucking railgun in time]
he and taiga should be at par.

in the end itll just be a fist fight, with both of them sprouting one liners and heroic tripe

    and then they become BFFs.

He reacts to Mikoto's abilities purely via precognition.
Any other explanation would be bullshit.

Taiga grew up with his Martial Arts expert sister and is used to fighting.
Touma still loses when a dedicated close combatant attacks him.

It's okay. I mean, 25 threads in what, a week?
