The Multiverse darkens and stars begin to fade.
In the pitch black sky, a force sweeps across the night. Dreams devoured, Nightmares reign. A world stands untouched and yet hope is shining brighter with every second as this little world glimmers with each passing swing.

    Do you care ?

Would you like to help ?

Our power begins to fade. But please, don't let that bother you.

We are just passing by after all.

In the wars we've seen. In worlds that have fallen, the song of the dying stars have cried out their names loudest. And yet it is an unfortunate side- effect that these organics have yet to realize just how important a role they will play.

Again... with the last of our power, we can only hope to set in motion the events that will awaken not only one these two, but perhaps the stars all over...

Choose whichever one suits you their souls read as an open book to us, but only so many words will ever describe them... . .

Collective cross schemas refer to this one as
    " Goose" sometimes " Goose Hunters "
This timid constellation, this common star, in his soul is the spark of War. The Everdying Guardian, the Forever Soldier.

For in all verses, and for all time, his Astra has marched across dreamscapes aplenty rescuing strangers and liberating downtrodden masses where oppressors exist.

And yet he is but a boy wishing a hard wish. Willing to pay the hardest price.

Shall we begin the awakening ?

    However,
bringing people up from your memories has a bit of a time commitment allowing you to only perform it once per turn.

Pvt. Keahne has made the assertion that perhaps portals like the "heart" can allow you access to a city if none can be found. Now that you think about it, a city or two comes to mind.

You should probably send ONE person to do the deed unless one of you were "fleet of foot"- so to speak.

Yeah I'm fairly sure Bolo can take one of the fiends 1v1. We just have to make sure he doesn't get ganged up on.

Plus we're going to have to find a way to get rid of that oil. Not sure how dangerous it would be to step in that stuff.

I think it's likely that if we can make it to the center nexus in the terrain we can change it. The same probably holds true for the enemy, so we need to defend the city.

    >>18639888

I like this plan, with a bit of modification. Move Bolo, create a city, and get Dankirk up in a safe spot so he can support Bolo. But also, have Kheanne use her mortar strike to assist as well. Hopefully we will be able to take out both targets if they move to engage, as well as hold this third piece of terrain.

If we are to follow our strategy, 2 more units may be fielded from any area we control. Dankirk comes to mind, as does the other member of the Bravo team we had picked up from the previous engagement [deck is caught up].

City based Units can only be fielded from cities while warzone based Units can only be fielded from warzones we control etc unless the unit has no play requirement, in which case the default is that we control the area.

We'll work from the ground up with those smaller fiends.
Is Bolo able to plug that small fiend to the west from where he is? Do so if able.
At the same time, field Bazooka Jill with Rigorous Training (assuming maneuvers aren't cards; belay that order if they are).

Okay, I think we should move Bolo one hex north and engage the the smaller fiend. We summon Jill and place her on the hex Bolo was previously on. Summon the 101st to take up a position next to the Bravo team on the east side. Then we provide mortar support to Jill which should hopefully give her enough of an attack boost to take out the larger fiend if it decides to move forward.
    >> Anonymous 04/10/12(Tue)00:08 No.18647388
Alright two pertinent issues: If we do not continue to support the Eastern Bravo team with Mortar strikes, they will just get rolled by that massive specter. Meanwhile, we need to try and advance on the enemy.

We could have Bolo move North to take out that weaker specter but he wouldn't be able to salvage any tags it has without being left a sitting duck for the bigger one.

Well, in that case, hold off on deploying Jill again. We need to take out that big fiend in a single volley. Deploy the two 101st Platoons towards the east and have them support the eastern Bravo Team. With a full retinue backing it up (Goose, Dankirk, and the two platoons), Bravo should have enough power to one-shot the big fiend once he gets into position.
Meanwhile, Bolo moves north and plugs the smaller fiend by himself.

Well, if we end up holding position to consolidate forces (though that doesn't seem like a winning strategy, those blobs are only going to get bigger), we'd probably do the following:

    >Move the MDs into the city nexus
    >Call in the 101 to the E and W of the HQ (maybe Jill?)
    >Mortar Strike on E Bravo team

But if we're on the offense, looks more like:

    >Move Bolo N to engage the small blob
    >Deploy Jill to W of HQ
    >Mortar Strike on E Bravo team

This'll kill off the weaker blob while deterring the large one from engaging for one more turn (before it gets even larger).

Alternatively, we can sacrifice a unit to eliminate the largest blob right now. Sadly, that likely means we'd lose Bolo. Either that, or we could use the MDs with Mortar Strike and the bonus from cities...

We don't know how many fiends are in their reserve, and I REALLY don't want to find out.

At least if we take out the big one now, we'll only have to deal with either another 8/6 next turn or two 4/3 fiends. If we drop the small one, they'll field a fiend, and it'll likely merge with the big one and become a 12/9 beast. 12/9 is far too stompy for my taste.

Once that 8/6 drops, Goose should start charging to capture the enemy nexus. He'll move out to the east, with the E Bravo Team as an escort for any monsters that decide to get uppity. If all goes well, it should only take two turns for Goose to charge into the enemy nexus and claim it.
